We’ve stayed at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino & Hotel Resort multiple times and it’s been an amazing experience every single time! The rooms are spacious, comfortable and always spotless — perfect for a relaxing getaway. We especially love that it’s pet-friendly and our corgi always has a great stay too! 🐾 The casino floor is vibrant and lively, with a great variety of slot machines that keep the fun going. The dining options are fantastic — plenty of choices with consistently great food and service. The entire property is well-maintained, clean and has such a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a mix of comfort, entertainment, and excellent hospitality!

First time setting foot on this property. From check-in to check-out it was an absolute pleasure to stay here! Been to Vegas, stayed at a resort in Scottsdale, so I had a little apprehension about stating further out of the Phoenix area. This property has everything you need to enjoy a vacation with the family or stay on business. Rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and clean. Great selection of slot machines, a seperate smoking section with slot machines, lots of table games with reasonable minimum bet levels. We also had the opportunity to play Ak-Chin Southern Dunes golf course. I don't tote myself as anything close to a golfer, but have had opportunities to play unbelievable courses across Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Oregon, and Nevada. This golf course is well worth planning an entire weekend getaway! Back to the hotel. They have an in-house Dunkin Donuts that opens early, and a wicked steakhouse, along with a couple of other restaurants in the hotel. I love my whiskies and bourbons and Chop l, Block, and Brew did not disappoint with their selection. We even walked over to the adjoining bowling alleys and threw some stones. My only regret was that I didn't get to check out the pool, but I did see it from my hotel room, and it looked wonderful. All staff from the front desk, the security guards, the staff at all the different restaurants, the casino dealers, to the gift shop were always pleasant and wonderful to talk to.

Hubs and I wanted to have a nice romantic staycay getaway for just the two of us. We had heard that this place was amazing and very reasonable priced. That was not our take at all. We first arrived and we checked in no warm welcome. Very confusing check in set up. We got to our room and we had been given 3 keys but no reason was to why. We tried to turn on the ac and it did not work below 75F . I went back downstairs and asked why the ac was not working. I was told at first that it sho7be working if we put a key by the front door and not to remove it or the ac would go off again. I we t back upstairs and to,d my husband and we sat there and tried to relax. However he started to have an asthma attack really bad. I called down to the front and advised them if would could switch rooms, we were told due to us being there for an extended period of time we could not move rooms. We also asked if there was any rooms that had balcony doors that could open and the guy said no. Funny bc we were looking right out the window and saw the balcony door… We spoke to a supervisor and she said we could transfer rooms but we would have to pay the difference between our room and the new room. We agreed , moved rooms bug it did not help. We were miserable and the room still stunk was smaller and we were charged more for less. We could not sleep well .my husband kept his I g asthma attacks and did not rest well at all. After our Check out the next day they charge our card a total of like 260.00 bucks for one night. They said there was a 50 extra hold in case of room charges we were never told this. They did end up crediting the 50 fee and the room change charge We were totally unhappy with the entire time and did not enjoy and of it at all. we will definitely not be going bsck. Communication is definitely lacking, room cleanliness is terrible. They entire night was horrible.
Kari S — Google review
WARNING! Be prepared to pay unexpected fees. we arrived a before the 4 PM check in time. So they charged an extra $38.78 I have checked in early at many hotels, many chains all across the country and at resorts worldwide and never had this happen. Also, if you like a rock hard bed and very small room this is the place for you if you prefer a comfortable bed and a place to sit then definitely not. Pool area feels more like a prison compound than it does like a resort. I recommend traveling a little further north and going to a truly nice casino hotel.
Tony D — Google review
So, we didn't know what to think of the hotel, being it was so economically priced. It was very clean, everything was stocked and,well... GREAT! It was pet friendly and the amenities were outstanding. We plan on visiting the hotel again, but next time we plan on staying and using resort for at least a few days! We have not one bad thing to say about "Harrah's" AK-CHIN Hotel and casino. It was amazing! Also, the staff and the parking were amazing. Thanks again!

We enjoy Ak-Chin .. even tho it's 45min to an hr drive, so worth it!! The restaurants are vey nice, always GREAT service, Nicole at Oak & Fork is sooo great at customer service!! .. Everyone @ Chop & Block too (the food & desserts are so yummy!!) We have stayed and the rooms are nice, very comfy ... Slot machines (love the variety) Table game dealers are nice and willing to help teach you the game! .. Summer we loved the pool & cabanas ... Yup, it's one of our favorite places for fun!!
Candie Y — Google review
The hotel is conveniently located 5-10 min from the friend I was visiting. The room was average. The service was very good. My issue was with Caesar rewards. Apparently, even though I called the Harrah's to make the reservation, I was transferred to a 3rd party vendor. Harrah's refused to award me the Caesar reward points that I should have gotten for our stay. The rewards were one of my main reasons for choosing the hotel since there is a Laquinta down the street that's even closer to my friends house.
PHILLIP K — Google review
We did not stay at the hotel. We have been going to this Casino for over 11 years. We went last Saturday and I am a diamond plus member with a Caesars Reward visa card. I went to play after 25 points no free play. I went to the total rewards desk and asked why I didn't have any free play. She said they changed my free play from M-F. I told her it was always Saturday thru Sunday. She said they have made changes. She was very nice, she gave me a local number to call. I waited until Monday and called. I called that number and was told to call another number after 9 am. I finally got through at 9:30 am. I explained what happen She had me hold on and called marketing. She told me they wanted more patrons to come during the week. I said I would like to talk to Marketing. She took my name and number and stated they would call me back that same day. I have not heard one word. Here is the kicker my husband is also a diamond plus member and he still gets free play on the weekend. I actually have more points than him. They have taken most of the perks away so why should we keep patronizing this casino. They are on a path of losing more customers.

Copper Sky is a family-friendly facility that offers a wide range of activities for all age groups. This upscale fitness center provides various options for young and older adults to stay active, including a fully equipped fitness center, child care services, karate classes, and community events. Additionally, the outside sidewalk is made available to the 40plus Double Dutch Sister's movement, increasing its exposure.
I go literally everyday. If you come, and spot me, let's work out together! As a mom who's into fitness, I love that child watch is open every weekday from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., then again at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Like who does this??? Every weekend I can take my babies from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday, 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Sunday. We can literally go everyday!!! Staff is friendly, The community members who work out here are awesome, everyone is approachable and happy looking. If I ever fall victim to dementia, I hope my grandkids bring me back the Copper Sky so that I can relive this part of my life - pushing my limits and making memories everyday around people who are kind strangers 🤞🏾

This place is amazing g and has all you need to get your fitness going. Spend time in the gym, indoor track ball ans other courts. Swimming, splash pad and childcare center

Maricopa Copper Sky Aquatic Center is a great spot for affordable family fun. Admission is just $2 for kids and $4 for adults, making it a budget-friendly choice. My granddaughter had an amazing time there. She loved playing on the splash pad, swimming in the pool, and floating in the lazy river. The aquatic center also has a fun water slide, a diving board for jumping into the water, and a rock wall for climbing. There are plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. It's a perfect place to spend a fun day with the family without breaking the bank.

Honestly disappointed with how quick they were to stop open swim season while it is still summer and hot out! Seeing my kid get upset about seeing the lifeguards training in the water, breaks my heart. I know they are training but my kid thinks they are having fun and he can't do that because of their decision. Do better. Cause that wasn't necessary. Also very disappointed with how some life guards talk to kids under 10 when explaining the rules. There's no need to be rude to them. Do better
BlackDiamondMoon — Google review
Membership not worth it for a family with multiple aged kids. Friendly staff, great amenities but not able to use them as we would like. Kids have to be 12 to go upstairs to the track. A family cannot walk on the track together on hot days. Kids have to be 15 to be upstairs alone. Our daughter is 15 and would love to have access to weight training for her sports but we have to be there with her. So all in all this membership for a family of 6 is not worth it. Too many restrictions.
Nathan W — Google review
Great when it opened but has been disappointing over time. Maybe I'm just going at the wrong part of week or day. Kids get bored because it really isn't a park feel and it seems like some elements have shown up for the worse. Park is for relaxing... not constantly looking over your shoulder.

Since its inception in 2017, Gyro Grill has become a beloved culinary gem for both locals and visitors in Maricopa, Arizona. Nestled conveniently near Arizona State Route 347, this eatery specializes in delectable Mediterranean and Greek dishes that are sure to satisfy any craving. The inviting atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for a casual meal or family gathering.
You can actually messup Gyros but I'm so thankful that Maricopa doesn't have this problem. I've been here a number of times with my wife and family, who all have special dietary needs. All of their food hits the spot and it's excellent. Lamb is always great to have here and you are lucky if it's ever in stock, it's that popular. I might have to make this a double weekly meal if I can pickup a 2nd job haha. Parking isn't fun though.
Paul D — Google review
I met a friend for lunch and was told this place was so good. I have to agree. Although I asked for the lamb shank, and it was not available, the chicken shawerma did not disappoint. The food was fresh and well prepared. As we sat enjoying our meal, other customers came in for takeout. Popular place. The owners were courteous, answering questions and even brought food out to the table. If I am ever in Maricopa again, I will stop by.

My girlfriend and I visited this Greek restaurant because she's recently discovered her Greek heritage and wanted to connect with her roots. The food was absolutely amazing, and the cook did a fantastic job. He was so nice as well! Every dish was delicious, and we could tell a lot of care and skill went into the preparation. However, our experience was marred by the woman at the registers poor attitude towards us. It was clear that she was not welcoming, giving us disapproving looks immediately on entering. We sat outside because we felt so odd about her behavior but continued to be respectful and kind when entering to use the restroom and refill our drink! We not only went in once, but twice and it was the same energy she ran both times sadly. It's a shame because the cook's talent truly shines, but the owner's behavior left a bad taste in our mouths:( If you're looking for great Greek food, this place delivers. Hopefully my honesty will change the pace of the beefy given in the room. Still highly recommended.

We recently dined at Gyro Grill and had a wonderful experience. We ordered the gyro plate and the chicken shawarma, both of which were delicious and freshly prepared. Despite the restaurant being busy, the service was fast and efficient. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable dining atmosphere. One standout was their baklava, which was absolutely amazing—crispy, sweet, and perfectly balanced. It's definitely worth trying if you visit. Overall, Gyro Grill exceeded our expectations with its tasty food, prompt service, and inviting ambiance. We highly recommend giving them a try.

Wonderful husband/wife run greek food. So considerate and thoughtful while taking my order- food was FAST, yummy and fresh. What more could you ask for? I got a chicken Shwarma with a Greek salad.

One of my favorite restaurants in Maricopa. The food is great and always consistent. Love the Greek salad and chicken shawarma!
Jerry F — Google review
We have eaten everything on this menu at least once and it is all fantastic. We love the family that runs this place, always so friendly and greets everyone. And if you get the chance, you have to try the baklava!
Heather N — Google review
I love the food here and order pretty often—it’s always delicious and consistent. The only downside is the soft drinks. They always taste off, more like bad tap water than soda, and I end up throwing the drink away every time. It’s disappointing, especially when everything else is so good. I’ll definitely keep ordering, but I’ll skip the drinks now.

Restaurant
Cilantros Mexican Cocina is a vibrant gem nestled in Maricopa, Arizona, where the essence of authentic Mexican cuisine comes alive. Owned by the dynamic duo Linda and Juan, who bring their rich backgrounds from Trujillo-Peru and El Paso, Texas, this family-run establishment serves up beloved staples like burritos and tacos in a colorful counter-service setting.
Cilantros NEVER disappoints, Thank yall so much ! Food is authentic, freshly made when you order and in a timely manner! For the best price, you WILL GET FULL , I promise! ( I’m 6ft 5in 210lbs btw..) so if I get full, guaranteed you will too

2/6/2024 UPDATE: I think today will be my last day going to Cilantros or I won’t go as often maybe every couple of months instead of every week. The salsa cups are half the size, trays are half the size, the sour cream is watered down, the steak is chopped extremely tiny now and doesn’t have any flavor, the green chili pork is not tasteful like it was. Somethings going on. There’s a big change and I don’t like it. Bring the flavor back to the food and stop downsizing everything but raising the price. The only thing that's good is the most of the good staff is still there. Ashly will be missed. EVERYTHING about this place is GREAT, starting with most of the girls. I love walking in here and receiving good food and good service from the familiar staff. THEY MAKE THIS PLACE GREAT. I think I come in here because of them and then the food. Keep up the great work, girls👌🏾💪🏾 You do have one bad apple that works the day shift. I won't come in the morning because she's nasty and rude and always have a mean face and talking crap under breath. Very Plain 5-3 stars. Even the nacho cheese is watered down. This is the first stopover anything in Maricopa. #1Ashly👌🏾 and…

The service was decent and the place was clean. The food was horrible. We ordered a green chili burrito, 2 fish tacos and 2 margaritas around 6pm. The meat was dry and bland in the burrito, the “fish” tacos were a nasty fish stick in a tortilla with some shredded lettuce and cheese, the margaritas were rimmed with regular table salt. There was so much salt it fell into the drink making it undrinkable. We left all our food and the margaritas and left. We will never be back. With all the choices for Mexican food in town, no one needs to go here.
Jennie B — Google review
This was my first time visiting Cilantros. The atmosphere is very welcoming and so is the staff! I had the Chili Relleno plate, with the Red sauce and a side of guacamole. I am a red sauce snob! I am very picky and I can tell you this red sauce they serve is very delicious! The rice and beans compliments the plate, the meal was tasteful a bit on the spicy side , but you won't need to put a fire out in your mouth after eating it. I will return to try many other dishes!

Try carne asada tacos for the first time here and will be my last time here. Very dry and hard meat. Super Salty and they drench in hot sauce. i only made through 1 tacos cus i was hungry and cannot take another bite. I’ll stick to my La Roka and Queen street tacos. They were close so i gave this place a try. The girl on the phone was nice. Food sucks

It’s a Walmart. Lots of different things. Can get busy. Staff are generally friendly. Some good bargains. Great variety. Has obscure things you may be looking for, sometimes you just have to ask as they may not be in obvious locations (or that could just be me). Depending on who you ask you can ask a staff member who is encyclopaedic about where everything is. Bonus!!

Do you know how many times I've seen people slip and fall in this store? People walking and random items fall on top of them and hit their head? This store is notorious for problems and problem people. There is so much wrong with this store that I can't fit it into one review. Then again, it is walmart. Shop at your own risk.
Paul D — Google review
Be careful of this store! This last 4th of July weekend they had a sale that I thought I would get in on. The joke was on me. After I got home I noticed my receipt. As you can see I paid substantially more than what was advertised. When I returned 2 hours later I took this pic and went to customer service. I spoke to a “manager” who just kept saying over & over “we have price changes all the time”. I told her I didn’t understand what she meant, but she refused to do anything about it. I guess she meant they have price changes during a sale. Shop there at your own risk. I’m done.

Curbside pickup is a joke at this store. I sat for over 20 minutes waiting for a dozen canned goods, finally cancelling my order via my phone. I had verified 2 times that I was indeed checked in. During my wait time they helped more than 10 other customers, the last 4 arrived within 4 minutes of my departure. I arrived home, 2 miles away, to receive an email stating I picked up my order for $54. Nope! So I called the store, they couldn't help me, so I called Walmart Corp and after a lengthy wait and discussion they promised to refund my money. So, between driving to pick up the order, waiting, calling the local store and then corporate, I've spent almost 2 hours of my time, and for not getting any of the groceries I ordered! Hey Walmart, who do I send a bill to for MY time? Really, if more consumers would start charging business for wasting consumers time, perhaps nonsense like this would improve. I regularly drive 50 miles round trip to avoid this store and only buy from them when absolutely necessary (the Walmart in Chandler is so much better). Apparently, Recendo(spelling?) is the current store mgr. Looks like I'll waste a bit more of my time and try and get a face to face audience with them. What a joke of a Walmart.

The store is too small to be stocked properly,No room in the isles. Doesn't have a very good selection compared to other Walmart. No tire or lube center. The store would be dangerous to exit in an emergency. No drive through pharmacy. Not enough people working at check out. Long check out lines. Not enough people working cart pickup. Walmart in Maricopa is a well-stocked and clean store, providing a good shopping experience that meets expectations. The store is always busy, being the only Walmart in town, which speaks to its popularity and convenience. While I haven't had much interaction with the employees, the overall shopping experience has been positive. Notably, Dickey's Barbecue Pit inside the store has closed, though it wasn't a favorite of mine anyway. In summary, Walmart Maricopa offers a reliable and efficient shopping experience, providing a wide range of products in a clean and organized environment.

Front of store assistant Gene displays confidence and pride in his position. He showed customer attentiveness by stepping in to assist when I mentioned inability to find a product. While the black male hair product selection was minimal, we found a substitute that I was willing to try. I have seen Gene working before and he never seems tired and looks for opportunities to assist all customers. He always give eye contact and automatically thanks each customer as we check out. Thanks Gene for making customers feel appreciated.

Boycotted Walmart #4430 for a number of reasons but last week was the end of it. Daughter called Store 3x for Alyssa HR for job and she’s always not available. She finally answered and said to call her back in 15 mins since she’s in zoom call. Okay, we set timer and called her in 17 mins. Got through, again on speaker and daughter is told there a position open in the front end and to come in 08/14/2025 @ 10am. We arrive, wife and myself walk daughter to the front end at 09:35am being early as you should to a job interview. The interview is on the side office of guest service, okay and it’s quick. Daughter comes out excited and said she got the job they said welcome to the team and Alyssa would call her. Come Monday, no call so I tell her maybe she should take initiative to call so she calls in the afternoon. Alyssa answers and very snidely says, if you we didn’t call looks like you didn’t get the job! Okay, we’re upset we call and were told daughter showed up wrong day when we showed up when we’re supposed to, they say interview never happened then she says i told your daughter this at the time of the interview. This conversation from her was very sarcastic and lacking of any remorse or understanding with humor in the situation of an underage applicant deceptively misled for hire. How can she blatantly lie and say interview never happened and contradicts her lie with I told your daughter otherwise. Walmart, is this your brand? Gaslighting? Lack communication and coordination during interviews? We called your ethics hotline, lady on that end was nonchalant. We spend about 4k a month at store 4430 on groceries, household cleaning, hygiene, pharmacy and baseball cards. Walmart doesn’t offer coupons or gift cards. Your very nice door greeters are your most valuable associates that keep your customers coming. Thank you for we will be distributing our money elsewhere to Homedepot, Tractor Supply Store, Lowe’s, Fry’s and Targets stores of Awatukee and Chandler where customer service and being respectful is prioritized. Word of advice, record all conversations with Walmart so they don’t gaslight you.

What an incredible attraction to visit! We were welcomed with such a friendly greeting. The entire family works together to keep the museum so well organized and meticulous. We learned so much information from Ernie, who built every single car. He was interesting and willing to share his story with us. We loved every minute of being here, and I'm sure I didn't even notice all of the memorabilia that was here. We spent almost 2 hours just walking around admiring the history and reminiscing about our own childhoods. Thanks for sharing this amazing museum with us ❤️

I live on the East Coast and wanted to visit this museum for quite a while. I was finally in Scottsdale Arizona and able to drive out and visit the museum on a Friday morning. I highly, highly recommend this museum to anyone in the area. I was able to sit with Ernie for about half an hour and listen to his life story. He is an incredibly talented man, and the cars and his life story are incredible. I cannot wait to come back and bring my wife. Hopefully she will be able to meet Ernie too.

Such a unique and fun experience! The Dwarf Car Museum is unlike anything else — the craftsmanship and detail on these miniature cars is incredible. The staff is very welcoming and happy to share the stories behind each piece. It’s a hidden gem that’s absolutely worth the visit — you’ll leave amazed and smiling!

This place is so cool. Ernie, the builder of these dwarf cars, is friendly and here to answer all your questions and talk to you. These cars are amazing. Most street legal. The all run and work like regular cars but the bodies, bumpers, wheels, etc. are all hand made by Ernie. Don't miss out on visiting this museum. These were the start of the Legend cars.

This hidden gem is worth the drive, showcasing Ernie Adam’s creative car collection. You’ll find everything from vintage trucks to classic Chevys, making it a fun stop for car lovers.
Jesse G — Google review
The Dwarf Car Museum is fantastic. It is actually small enough that if you can't walk far this one is for you. Be sure to watch the video for a little while to learn his process. He is a brilliant machinist. There are a lot of things outside to see also. Better in the winter for those. It used to be donations but now it is well worth the $5 fee.

I recommend this place to absolutely every car enthusiast. Incredible place with incredibly nice people. Huge territory with a huge history and old style atmosphere. Come here and you will not regret it

What a hidden gem if you enjoy cars & memorabilia! Luckily, the RV park we stayed at down the road had a flyer up for this place or we would have missed it entirely given there is no sign we saw on the main road for it. But what a find! Such craftsmanship and detail out into making these scaled down models - and they still drive them! Had taken one on a trip just the day before!! Had the pleasure of meeting Ernie also which was special! So much to see at this place and only $5 for admission. Go see it! You will NOT be disappointed! We were in our 30ft class C RV and found room to park just fine!

I wasn’t the biggest fan of Papa Murphy’s until recently. The staff, specifically Candis, is amazing. She was very helpful with suggestions when I couldn’t figure out what all I wanted. She greets us every time with a smile. The store was clean and the food tasted amazing. It’s definitely become my family’s new favorite pizza spot! I recommend it to everyone. 😊

My wife picked up a pizza on her way home from work yesterday. Looked great, tasted great. But about 15-20 minutes afterwards I started feeling really strange. Started feeling like I took a drug. Started getting a little asthma, which is not a regular occurrence at all. I didn’t say anything to my wife. While she was cleaning up out of nowhere she turned to me and says I feel like I’m drugged. We discussed the fact we rarely eat from restaurants and maybe it’s because of that the chemicals in the food didn’t agree with us. I’m in no way accusing anyone of wrongdoing in any way. It was just an odd thing to have happen and within a few hours it was pretty much gone. Again not inferring or accusing anyone of anything. I guess the moral of the story is, don’t stray from your daily eating routine.

We love Papa Murphys! My husband has to be gluten free and this is the only pizza place that lets him put on it what he wants. All other places, only pepperoni. I just tried the vegetable only pizza and I didn’t realize that it came on a white sauce. It was a very tasteless pizza and I will go back to my usual pizza with everything on the marinara sauce.

I'm not one to normally leave reviews or even go Karen on someone. But my sister and I just had the absolute worst experience here. We ordered a large half and half uncooked pizza and they did not make it correct. It was like 4 inches smaller than what it should have been and had none of the toppings we asked for. And we weren't really upset about the mistake and we weren't mean to them at all. We simply called and told that that we thought they gave us the wrong pizza. They argued and got very sassy on the phone and ultimately told us we had to reorder it in order to exchange it for the right one. We didn't complain, didn't ask for a refund, we just wanted to get our pizza. So we reordered it and went to exhange the pizzas. Right off the bat, the manager gave my sister a hard time. He told us that he gave us the right pizza and we were wrong but it literally had zero of the toppings we ordered. Then he got mad at us for reordering it when his employee told us to reorder it. After he had a hissy fit, he started making the new pizza for us. He walked out of the room for a minute and his employee started being a complete jerk. He just went off on my sister and made her cry. She had to go sit in the car because of how panicked and stressed he made her feel. I sat and waited for the pizza and he wouldn't give it to me unless my sister came back inside. I told him to just wrap it up and give it to me and he ended up doing that. Overall he had a horrible attitude and he was just a jerk. And his employee was also a jerk. No one there possess a sense of hospitality. Again not a Karen, I typically just let things go. But this pizza was meant for Christmas dinner because we get a pizza from here every Christmas and the fact that their employees made my sister cry made me even more upset. I probably wouldn't have said anything but since they decided to act in such a hostile way, I feel like every person in Maricopa deserves to know that these employees suck. Probably won't be continuing this little Christmas tradition. The picture shows a pizza with sausage and cheese, but we got green peppers and olives. I feel like this review makes me look like a big Karen but like my sister and I were not rude at all. We treated the employees with respect. They were just so rude and sassy for zero reason.

This is what's left over of their Veggie omelet with added pineapple and bacon! Coffee and breakfast was great! They give filling portions and their prices are great! Not over priced. Definitely going to be coming here for breakfast when I'm in town! It's also a bar. So you can come and watch tv and chill out! Thank you!

Excellent experience. This place is a cozy, mom and pop business with an excellent Classic American Menu. We tried the Corned Beef Hash and The Chicken Fried Steak. Both were top notch.

If you enjoy a long wait... for no apparent reason... and limited availability of menu items, this is your place! We arrived on a Saturday just after 2 pm, so hardly the busy time of day. There was one server for the few tables, but she was a "talker"... talk, talk, talking to everyone but us, especially to the "tattoo lady" who's job at the restaurant was unclear. We waited far too long for the server, who never told us her name, to finally return to take our orders. And prior to doing so, she was eager to let us know they were out of Chicken Fried Steak! My husband asked for a glass of milk, but they were out of that too, other than skim milk. Yuk! We started to wonder "What the hell kind of breakfast restaurant is this!? No Chicken Fried Steak; no milk!?!? What next!?" I asked her about their version of the Crunchwrap, and then she said she'd have to go back to check on whether they have any of the hamburger meat for it. So she scooted off for another long hiatus. When she showed back up in the dining room, she bounced around from table to table to "tattoo lady", except not to us, to do her talking thing. As we sat and listened and watched and....WAITED, we were starting to think about scooting out the door to another place when she finally returned without offering whether they have that hamburger meat, so I had to ask. They did so I ordered the Crunchy Tostada Wrap without the nacho cheese, which was mostly hamburger meat and lettuce with sour cream, but very little shredded cheese. It came with delicious seasoned fries, but I wouldn't order it again because... meh. My husband ordered the Country Biscuits and Gravy breakfast which he really enjoyed, but said he'd prefer to go to a restaurant with milk, especially since there's literally a grocery store next door!

I was really excited to try this place. Cute, cozy location. I became disappointed when my rice was burnt tasting, my orange juice cup was charged as a large when it’s clearly small compared to my water. I informed my waitress I wasn’t aware that cup was a large as when I placed my order she didn’t ask for size. A cup that size is $3.95. When I asked the waitress she was really rude and had to have a last say. Sad to say but I will not be back to this place.

Sunrise is under new management so we gave it a 2nd Chance. (4th actually!) The food was SO much better than when we visited before. They have a simple menu with every plate averaging about $10. We tried the Sampler Platter and the Garbage Plate. The fried green beans with ranch were great! The wait staff was friendly and inattentive, especially Lisa. Love her! We had full cups of coffee everytime I looked down and someone was checking in on us regularly. We will definitely stop in again.

You can tell in the picture the cinnamon buns didn't rise in the center so not completely cooked. Server was great, that's why 2 Stars were given. $15.80 for 2 10oz Orange juice and 2 refills was extreme I'm being generous with the ounces. Breakfast for 2 with grey bacon $36.63.

Took the family to Sunrise for the first time since moving to maricopa, I will say I am a forever customer now. Amazing food and staff!
Jenna L — Google review
Very good service but the food was not good. I had biscuits and gravy and they were awful! The biscuit was dry and crumbly. It tasted like a frozen one that had been warmed up. And the sausage patties were okay but the tasted like an already cooked sausage that was also warmed up. I added pancakes and they were actually really good. Nice and fluffy and fresh. Definitely the worst biscuits and gravy I've ever had.

Ak-Chin Circle Entertainment Center Restaurant is a laid-back American dining spot nestled within the vibrant UltraStar Multi-tainment Center. This venue offers a full bar and features big-screen TVs, making it an ideal place to unwind with friends while catching your favorite game. Guests have praised the delicious food, particularly the perfectly cooked burgers and tasty boneless wings, alongside a delightful charcuterie board. The comfortable seating adds to its appeal, allowing patrons to enjoy their meals in a relaxed atmosphere.
My son works here so decided to see if the food was great. But it was good food and great customer service. Definitely will go back. The burger is good

I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here. The food at the 341 Grill is very mediocre. I put it on par with a Denny’s. The food prices are a little high for the quality of food but, it’s not a bad spot to eat if you’re there to enjoy the entertainment center. I’ve eaten there a couple of times now and the wait staff has always been polite and reasonably prompt.
TJ S — Google review
The menu at 347 grill use to be pretty good, but for some reason they've taken our favorite things off the menu. Our server "Kale" was wonderful! We have friends that have also left reviews about Kale's awesome waiting service, and their reviews have been taken down. Let's see if mine gets taken down too. You know its hard to find great service anymore and when you finally find it, they don't get enough recognition for a job we'll done..... the food is pretty good....

This is a great place to grab a drink a little food and watch a game. Comfortable seating, it’s inside the entertainment area so bowling and movie theater are in the same venue. The boneless wings and Chucuterrie board were tasty.

This place has pretty good food, but slow service. We went for an early dinner about 5pm and it was not busy. We ordered a kids pizza meal, fish and chips, and a burger with sweet potato fries. Food took a while, but was hot and fresh when it finally came out. Atmosphere is ok, but booths are tight and not comfortable. There is also lots of staff talking and standing around. We ordered a cookie with ice cream for dessert and a scoop of vanilla ice cream for our child. The cookie took a long time and when it arrived it was completely burnt and they put ice cream on top. The kids ice cream had chocolate sauce and whip cream when we ordered plain vanilla. When we told the waiter about the burnt cookie and ice cream with chocolate he acknowledged it, but didn't offer to take it off or get a new cookie. I would give this place a 3 out of 5. Service and wait staff could be more customer friendly and available. Food was good, but not worth a second visit based off of the burnt cookie.

Tonight was ok.. not busy and our server was ok.. somewhat attentive and had to flag her down for the check.. food and drinks were good.. Dec 2021.. The service Keyonna gave was great for my birthday dinner and the food was cooked to perfection! There are not a lot of places in the Phoenix metro area that will cook a Burger properly but you guys nail it every time! It keeps us coming back!

Seems like this could be a good area... but we were dealing with not great workers while here. I would say not busy in the bowling area, maybe 4 or 5 groups? And it took about 25 minutes to get an order of 4 shots... we were told that the bartender liked to make them perfect? They were simple shots, so not sure what was going on back there. On top of that we ordered 4 games and halfway through game 2 we get shut off. Someone went and talked to them, but then at the end of game 2 and midway through game 3 we were shut off 3 more times... We did add 2 people to the game but the workers at the front desk told us this would not be a problem but in the end, it was... Very disappointed

Service was terrible. Waiting over 30 minutes to just get water is insane. Would not come back. I would understand if it was busy, but there was barely anybody there. Drinks are also way too expensive for what you get.

Nestled within Harrah's Ak-Chin, Oak & Fork is a delightful culinary gem that has been captivating guests since its opening in December 2017. This charming restaurant specializes in pairing exquisite small bites with an impressive selection of fine wines, making it a must-visit for wine enthusiasts. While the prices may lean towards the higher side, patrons agree that the experience is worth every cent spent.
Wow. We went Friday night right before a show we attended for a concert and wanted a quick bite to eat and glass of wine before entering concert. We were greeted by Debra, who suggested we take the small table by the entrance and get "double cushion" on the upright chairs as she fixed up for us to make it comfortable for my wife and I to sit. Such a great spot to sit and Debra the hostess came by many times to check on us to see if we were comfortable. Couldn't of found a more perfect personality for that position at this wine bar. After we were seated, we were able to listen to the guitarist play some music as we sipped our drinks and our waiter Mikey showed up. Best service we received from a waiter in a long time as my wife and I were thinking, "this place has outstanding energy and service!". If you go, make sure you request Mikey as he resembles a laid back personality that pairs with a wine bar climate and atmosphere perfectly. So yes we will be back to Oak and Fork wine bar! Thanks Debra and Mikey for making our first visit one to remember!

This restaurant has a very upscale atmosphere and the service was good from the friendly hostess to our server who was very sweet. There was even a girl playing guitar and singing that was very good also. However the food itself left much to be desired. It was overpriced and flavorless. The table next to us and the table behind us were also not impressed with the food, so I know we weren't alone in our sentiments. We were told it was a new menu, maybe the old one was better. We paid $100 for 2 people and the food wasn't even worth taking the leftovers. The drinks were good though!

Went to Oak & Fork Restaurant @ Harrah's Ak-Chin Casino. They have changed the whole menu. No longer are there small plates. Regular meals. Okay! Sat @ the bar w/ Tyler. Extremely pleasant and friendly. Good Bartender. Except he ordered the wrong food for me. Wife ordered chicken Linguini. Very Good! I ordered the Italian Panini. Only I received the Chicken Panini. He brought it to me and realized that it was Wrong. But then he said this panini is Really Good. Is that OK. I mean Really! If I wanted the Chicken I would have ordered the Chicken. Right?? Strange. But I ate it anyway. He was right it was good. Just Not what I ordered. Not as good as the Chicken Linguini my wife had, but good. All in All Oak & Fork has an Italian concept. Good not Great. Not sure if I will go back.

Great food, good wine list, and excellent service. I was invited to the soft launch many years ago, and my level of expectations is still met today. Whether you're looking for an intimate night out or a spot to sit back with friends and have a few drinks, this is an excellent choice. Reasonably priced and our go-to for date night. Debra is our favorite host, and we really enjoyed chatting with her. Would recommend this place.

The food was incredible. Quality ingredients were and are being used. From the delicious Barbecue Chicken Flatbread to the Red Pepper Hummus with deep fried pita bread. This is a must taste to throughly enjoy. Calamari is also a must eat. The atmosphere is very relaxed. Our server Karen is outstanding and a true asset to the company. She should be given a gold star for her outstanding service to myself and her other customers. Truly made our visit more like visiting family. I would definitely recommend going here to eat. And you gotta try the waffle sundae. This is a delicious end or beginning way to start.

Ok service is great, was not impressed with the food. . The Oak fries were supper greasy. I COULD FEEL MY ARTERIES CLOSING AS I TOOk A BITE. My wifes BBQ chicken flat bread was burnt on one end. Tapas style menu. Very fast service, excellent food, both inside and outside seating. But don't go here if you're idea of dinner is a steak, ribs, or fried chicken ... Take a look at the menu before you decide to go. Great food and service, but certainly not your typical salad, meat, veggie type meal

South side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the south side side of town. Start the day off with Maha Ganapati Temple of Arizona, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to The Duke at Rancho El Dorado. All together, your day would be filled with about 6 hours of non-stop fun.

The Maha Ganapati Temple of Arizona is a grand and peaceful temple complex, surrounded by lanes. Within its walls lies a rare stone statue of the Hindu deity Ganesh, who stands upright with a flat head, believed to bear the mark where the demon Ravana struck him. It's considered the second most sacred site in Gokarna and is customary for pilgrims to visit before heading to Mahabaleshwara Temple next door.
It feels so pleasant, serene and peaceful at the temple. I felt like I was in a divide world when I pulled the door open to enter the temple. 🛕 good parking spaces are available for free. Bring your own food and water as nothing is available for a close to 8 miles. * blessed experience * good approach roads * being own food and water

I recently visited the Maha Ganapati Temple of Arizona and had a wonderful experience. The temple is well-maintained, the surroundings are calm and pleasant, and the overall atmosphere is very welcoming. One of the highlights was the Annadanam — they served delicious food with great care and warmth, which truly added to the sense of community. I'm grateful for the experience and will definitely visit again.

Though it was quite a drive from the city, the journey was beautiful. The scenic fields and blooming flowers brought back memories of an Indian village. The temple itself was serene and overwhelming, with many god idols.

One of the finest Ganesha temples in Arizona. Located in the Maricopa County, is a bit far from most of the hubs and is a pleasant drive. The temple is well maintained and has all the basic amenities. The temple has plenty of parking space as well Suggestion - Restrooms to be maintained better and parking to be organized better especially during festive seasons like Ganesha Chaturthi when the crowd volume is high

A beautiful place of devotion. I felt very welcomed even though I had no background in Hinduism or Indian culture; I just came with an open heart and willingness to understand and learn. I found the archana to be very moving and transcendent. Just be respectful, and allow extra time get here since it's in a rural area, off by itself (which is part of the magic).
TravelCalifornia — Google review
The temple is located on the outskirts of the city, but once you enter the premises you don’t feel that distance at all. The atmosphere inside is very calm, positive, and pleasant. It truly feels like visiting a temple in India. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained, and they also have a baby changing station, which is very convenient. The Prasad served by the temple is very tasty and authentic. In addition, you can order sweets and snacks, dosa, lassi, cold water, and coffee/tea, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. Overall, a peaceful, welcoming, and culturally rich place to visit. Thank you 🙏🏻
Mehul P — Google review
Beautiful Indian style temple, with multiple deities consecrated on the premises. Lord Ganesha as the namesake is the chief deity of this temple but many other major gods and goddesses are also present. The temple is built in a very southern indian akin architecture style. The temple is under construction with planned expansions and renovations but has good facilities. It is a bit out of the way in a more secluded area and a bit away from Phoenix downtown (~35 miles) and requires a car for transportation but overall a great place to visit. Welcoming to all people who come with an open mind and appreciation of the universal community and brotherhood.

The only temple in Arizona which has Gopuram. The temple is in the outskirts of the city, you will find farming lands on the way. It took us around 45 mins from chandler. We visited the temple on Ugaadi, many people had come to get the pooja done for their new cars. Overall it was a good experience peaceful place.

This was our 3rd time here, but our 2nd time bowling. The 1st time was on a weekend. Tuesday was an amazing day here! We bowled 3 games for $14 and had two doubles/ drinks for $25. It would have been $16 for bowling for two for 3 games, but I only needed to rent 1 pair of shoes. They only had one person working the counter, so it was a bit of a wait. Other than that, everything went smoothly. I'm thinking of going back tonight, even though Tuesday is a discounted day!!! Once your game is over, think fast if you want to play again. The lanes are reassigned pretty quickly.

We had my sons birthday party here this year. He chose the arcade package and everything went very well. Beyond our expectations, actually! The kids had a blast with the unlimited game play. We’re staying in the AK-Chin resort / casino and wanted to walk over and see what the entertainment center had to offer. It’s pretty cool how it’s all setup, you go upstairs, walk across this sky bridge that goes over the roadway and then down an elevator and all of a sudden you’re in this entertainment wonderland. - Bowling - Arcade - Food - Drinks - Movie theater - Laser tag and more! Very kid friendly! As you can see our baby was having the time of his life! 😎 I assume this must be like the fun hangout area for families in the Maricopa area! Highly recommend

We moved to Maricopa about a year ago and this is probably our favorite place in town to visit. The kids always have a blast and the prices are really fantastic! My husband and I especially enjoy the star class lounge on the weekends for the occasional date night without the kids. I would have loved to have a place like this in my town growing up. ☺️ Great job to all of the staff and management. We've never had a negative experience here. Everyone is always helpful and kind. Great job 👍

This place is crap. The bowling lane keeps breaking down and glitching out. From the balls getting stuck, the guard dropping down too early, to it completely just shutting off. The pizza was soggy and gross. The lanes were really dirty. The teenagers behind the desk were talking to each other and not helping guests. Won’t come back. They need a main event in maricopa this place is old and bleh.

Copper Sky Park Dog Park

Dog park
Copper Sky Park Dog Park offers a wonderful opportunity to bring your furry friend for some outdoor fun while enjoying a picnic with your loved ones. The park features separate enclosed areas for both active and timid dogs, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all pets. The well-maintained grounds are covered in grass, dirt, and gravel, providing ample space for dogs to run around freely. Additionally, the park includes amenities such as small upward slopes that offer an extra element of excitement for energetic pups.
Here's where I wish I could escalate a google Maps issue to a real live human, so strap in. Because this is, in fact, a trio of parks, and the review is for all 3. I hope it's clearer in the photos, but Copper Sky is a community center with 2 conjoined dog parks on one side of the Center and an agility dog park on the other. Our white doggo is a reactive rescue, so we take her to the side for 'shy dogs'. It's wide, probably a soccer fields width across, and she loves to run there. It's connected by way of fencing to another large field for active, well-adjusted dogs, which in the picture they're sharing, as it is often empty. The agility park is closer to the water slide entrance of the Aquatic Center, for reference. And it is much, much smaller. It has less parking than the larger pair of dog parks. They each have restrooms with stalls, at least 2 picnic tables, and dog-level watering stations. The lady in the bg w the 5 huskies sitting in the agility course they're not using is likely unaware she's limiting the packs playtime (as well as ours). Hence, this detailed review. When you know better, you do better ✌🏽 Be safe out there!

Awesome place to bring dogs. Large area for dogs to run and have fun. Active and timid dividers for dogs. Water faucet for dogs, poop bags, trees for shade and a few benches to relax. Covered area as well. However, I heard those park will be closing because a business will be built on this land. I will miss this park when that happens

We are new to the area. We went early morning and there were not many folks there but they started coming as the morning progressed. I like that this park is segregated for the active and not so active dogs. Basically large and small dogs have an area with an ample well maintained space. There are small upward slopes and for a dog like mine it's a hill to run up. Our Yorkie was greeted by other dogs and their owners were in the immediate vicinity as to ensure the greetings were not to boisterous. Our dog is a teacup and easily gets overwhelmed by new friends. All the dogs were well mannered. The dogs from both groups are able to socialize due to the fence. The park was very clean and there were plenty of bag dispensers. We have been back twice since our initial visit. Our dog seemed to enjoy it.
Vonda B — Google review
We continue to bring our pups here and it is a great place for dogs and people to interact. They have two parks, one for small dogs and one more for more aggressive. One thing I will add and this goes for all dog parks but please make sure you have updated all needed vaccinations before taking your dogs out to public places like this. We nearly lost a dog to parvo this last year so I understand the importance of making sure our dogs are safe.

Sprouts Farmers Market is a specialty grocery chain that focuses on providing a wide selection of natural and organic products, including their own brand items. This vibrant store has become an anchor in various locations, thanks to its excellent visibility and accessibility right off the street, making it easy for shoppers to pop in. During my visit to the Maricopa location on a Friday morning, I was greeted by friendly employees eager to assist me as I explored the aisles filled with fresh produce and delicious samples.
Great store very friendly employees who were more than willing to help. They have lots of samples. I think I tried them all and they were yummy. I had some sushi. It was so good. They still mostly organic food which can be a bit on the pricey side but everything looks fresh clean and delicious. Guess you get what you pay for. Love this store will shop there more often.

I visited Sprouts Farmers Market in Maricopa on a Friday morning. I had hoped to use the restroom, but unfortunately, there was a barrier in front of the door indicating that it was closed. I first shopped here about a year ago but haven’t been back because the prices were higher than the competing grocery stores nearby. Since saving money is important to me, I have not made Sprouts Farmers Market a regular shopping location. I shopped there this time only because I’m looking for fresh Rosemary and the two nearby chain stores were sold out. I was able to find fresh Rosemary here and fortunately it was on sale. The normal price is $3.99 for an 18 gram package, which is 43% more expensive than the $2.79 price tag on the same item at the competing store (same brand – Duncan Family Farms, see picture). Luckily, it was on sale for $2.99, which is still 7% more expensive, but much better than the regular price. As I walked through the store, I noticed many, many prices that are more expensive than the competing stores. Given the standard pricing, it’s unlikely that I will become a regular customer at this store, but I’m thankful that they had the item I needed when the other stores were sold out. When I was ready to pay for my groceries, I found a short line with about 5 customers waiting for the cashiers. Initially, it looked like there was only one cashier, but when I got in line, I could see that there were two cashiers with one line leading up to both of them. As I reached the front of the line, a third cashier opened up another register and waved me over. She was very polite, professional and she processed my purchase quickly.

They have the freshest selection and the best display that I see here in town. My family and I make it a point to shop here at least once a week and it's helped our diet and general well-being. Staff is nice to us and we are generally pleased with this location. Easy parking and next to a lot of other plazas.

We finally got a sprouts in maricopa which is great. I've been to many and maybe that spoiled it for me because it looks like it was all about just making sure we have a (small) sprouts in Maricopa. Maybe something will change. The selection is nice but again it's a smaller version of what I've seen around the USA. Tomatoes are nice and juicy. That's mainly why I shop around here.

Customer service is great, generally no issues. But this week, it is so rancid smelling, like rotten meat. I hope they resolve whatever this smell is, very off-putting for a grocery store to small like this. Stopped in on 9/29 and 10/1 and it was the same both days.

I love shopping here and used to come every Wednesday for their sushi. Their sushi lately hasn't been great and because of the price in general I expect the rice to not be overcooked and mushy nor take up a majority of the roll. This is disappointing.

So many options. I often find better prices on items here than at the other grocery stores. The staff is always kind and the store is really clean and organized. They have good sushi too.

This is a decent location with some great finds! The store is well organized and clean. I went on. Saturday evening and was impressed the store wasn't in shambles like other stores in the area. The prices were low and affordable. I purchased a plant stand which was half the price of The Home Store. The cashier was very friendly and conversational. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for some bargains as well as some great finds!

Mostly to that poor employee just tryna get paid but also the community depends on yall to tell the truth about your hours. If you open at 8, the doors should not be locked and store dark at 8:20am. Especially not with that poor employee out there clueless in 95 degree heat.

can you say nasty? This lady always seems to have an attitude and comes off as extremely rude to certain people. Her patience to assist customers with simple tasks is minimal. What happened to customer service? I purchased some items last night. I want to return them today. I paid for them with a $50 gift card and my personal debit card when I want to return the items the gentleman ignored my request for him to use my debit card to do my refund instead he did part of the refund on my personal debit card and part on the gift card that was thrown away by the cash register person the night before on my purchase When I try to explain it to the manager on duty she kept telling me that I threw away my gift card. I kept explaining no I didn’t. It was your teammate that threw away my gift card and she called the first manager. The first manager didn’t know how to do the exchange. She tried very hard. I’ll give her that to explain it to the people, but it didn’t work so then they called the gentleman named Sergio. I assume he is the higher up manager. Sergio was told the exact same story by the same manager in the store that I threw away the card and that the gentleman who was refunding my items push the wrong button instead of apologizing profusely I was told by the manager that I should’ve told him how I wanted my refund given back to me.when I mentioned that I asked him if you wanted my visa debit card, he ignored me and said not yet maybe not at all. Instead of a full refund on my personal debit card I got a $50 credit back to Ross after being treated so rude and accused of it being my fault But the gentleman pushed the wrong button. I asked for Sergio‘s phone number and then was told “nope” they won’t give me his number. I have to go through corporate. Maricopa is a very small town. A lot of of us moved here 15 years ago where people knew the meaning of customer service? I’m in a customer service industry and the first thing I do is apologize. So attention, Ross employees, management, corporate office please teach your team to use customer service. A preferred way of dealing with the situation is to apologize profusely stating we pushed the wrong button we cannot give you a full credit on your personal debit card. We have to give you a store credit and we’re gonna give you an extra 20% off for the inconvenience. We are so sorry would’ve gone so far. And now all they’ve lost is a customer in Maricopa.
Sheri S — Google review
Hi, I'll try to say this politely and without using any profanity. ANNE, the manager, was physically pushing customers, without anything as little as a, “excuse me”.Many customers kept coming up to complain that she had done the same to them after I went to voice my concerns. I'm not sure when that became a policy, but I’ll be writing multiple reviews until something is done. She also snapped a picture of my friends and me. An associate told me that she usually acts like that which is crazy. ROSS You all need to get your associates together because this is absurd.
Saria B — Google review
My daughter was shopping today when an employee who needed to get past in the aisle shoved her without any warning. This behavior is extremely unexceptable, and what makes matters worse? It was the supervisor/manager.I was able to get her name, "Anne," she has blond hair and glasses. This behavior is disgusting, and I will be reaching out to corporate.
Dezerree S — Google review
Was here about an hour ago and the blonde lady with glasses was EXTREMELY RUDE! She yelled at another cashier (the one that was on register 1) about something like she NEEDED a break more and made me and another person in line very uncomfortable, that promotes a toxic workplace and that cashier should probably find another job.

The overall experience at The Duke at Rancho El Dorado golf club was highly enjoyable, especially after a long absence. Despite the initial disappointment of a sold-out hot deal in the morning, there was an opportunity for an even earlier tee time. Although it was cold and misty due to high wash levels, the course itself was well-maintained and featured challenging traps with tall walls. Additionally, the food and drink service provided at the turn was of good quality.

Have you ever had breakfast with Jon H.? Let me paint you a picture of how it goes: Joyce: I could really use some butter for my rye toast. Jon H.: *hoarding the butter, seemingly not hearing Joyce* Joyce: *eating an unsatisfying piece of toast with only jelly, still complaining about the lack of butter* Jon H.: *generously slathering butter onto his pancakes while humming Chappell Roan's "Good Luck, Babe!"* Breakfast in Maricopa? Why not! After a quick drive over the mountains and through the woods, we met up at this cute place on a golf course for breakfast. I ordered the Maricopa Omelet which has cheese, ham, and green hatch chiles in it. It was also served with some homestyle potatoes and some toast. It was a great breakfast and the weather was even nice enough to dine al fresco with a view of the golf course lake. So many cute ducks and geese wandered about and our waitress, Jill, kept the coffee mugs filled. It's a great spot! I can see this place being enjoyed by the community and residents in Maricopa. Get some good eats here at The Duke!

Really nice layout with lots of undulation and 7000 from the tip. Not really a hard course but it's nice. Greens were a little slow and bunkers wet although they did have sand.

Booked this course for a bachelor party, had a last minute addition to make it 5 guys instead of 4 and the guy in the pro shop was extremely understanding and accommodated the change. Course is in great condition, each hole is challenging in its own way. The bunker sand is soft and light. Course has an awesome spur logo and they sell hats with them on it in the pro shop. Highly recommend playing this course, it’s absolutely worth the drive from Phoenix.

The experience was really good, had not been in a long time. We tried to get a hot deal early in the morning but is sold out then an even earlier tee time opened up. Loved this course. Great time playing, great staff looking forward to my next trip here.
Carlos R — Google review
Haven’t played here in over 6 years, glad our group was able to play this past Saturday. Overall, the course is in great shape, fairways were nice and greens ran very true. Service was excellent and food really good. *** What bothered me the most, this has nothing to do with the course or staff, is the golfers at this course. If you’re too lazy to fix your ball marks, you shouldn’t play. I fixed mine and many others on most of the greens. Golfers are quick to complain about conditions, yet are 90% of the cause. FIX YOUR BALL MARKS PEOPLE. It’s really easy to do.

Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers is a laid-back spot offering a variety of burgers, beers, and ample widescreen TVs for sports viewing. While some have found the service to be lacking in efficiency, others have had pleasant surprises such as free Father's Day specials and enjoyable dining experiences. The menu features options like the Juicy Lucy, citrus teriyaki wings, steakhouse burger, and Monterey chicken. Additionally, there is an extensive selection of IPAs available both on tap and in bottles.
Cool place, cool vibes and good food. Just moved to Maricopa and was told about this place. Who doesn't like a cold beer and burger? Tried the fire pit and hot damn was it good. I will say that this burger is properly spicy. It's a notch above my comfort, but it won't stopping me from getting it again. The Old fashion drink was quite good too. I can't wait to come back. Oh and their house made kettle chips are pretty killer.

Great fun at Cold Beers and Cheesburgers. We went to CB&C after a seminar at the Shiloh Fellowship in Maricopa. We all sat in the same area on the back patio, and were attended to by 3 or 4 servers, all of whom were very good, efficient, attentive and fast. They did a great job considering all the people they had to serve. Besides beer, they also served mixed drinks. My wife had a passion fruit margaritas. I ordered a toasted cheese sandwich that had 3 or 4 different cheeses, and curly fries. Both good. The fries were nice and fresh. My wife ordered the teriyaki burger, Swiss on top without the bun and onion rings, alsovery good. The food was hot upon being served. Music, good crowd. We will be returning!

I would rather eat at a fast food restaurant. It would took so long to get our food! A table of ten got their food before my table of four. And we showed up way before they did. Then it took forever to get our check and the boxes to go. We had to ask for refills! When we had been sitting there without our food. I have always been raised to not reach over peoples food. This is the third and last time I will be coming here. Every time they bring out my food, they reach over my plate to give the other persons food. The nachos are gross. The one good thing they did was the spicy Bloody Mary but other than that every time I come here I have a bad experience. I hate writing bad reviews because people say oh she is just being a Karen, but no, I am. It being a Karen it’s called having good manners to not reach over peoples food. I work in the medical field and it absolutely grosses me out to have people hovering over my food! We do not intend to come back here again!!! Thanks for cutting into my sleep since I have another 12 hour shift of work tomorrow!!

Fry's Marketplace is a bustling hub for all your grocery needs, featuring an extensive selection of fresh produce, quality meats, and essential household items. This vibrant shopping destination is anchored by Fry's Groceries and Pharmacy, complemented by a variety of national and local retailers such as Jack-in-the-Box, Wells Fargo, The UPS Store, Firehouse Subs, and more. While the store can get quite crowded at times, it remains well-organized and easy to navigate.
Friendly staff and overall a pretty clean environment. Much better experience versus going to the local Walmart. The pharmacy is better than most as well. It's pricey but thats everything you buy these days no matter where you shop. If you hunt for markdowns you can get pretty good deals.
Shane S — Google review
Fry’s customers suffer for this store’s success. Fry’s is busy almost all the time, and the store is always understaffed. The Deli is very popular, and yes, it’s always understaffed. There’s always numerous people waiting to be served at the Deli by the one and sometimes two people working there. There are frequently long lines at the registers. The lines would be shorter if there were enough employees to open more registers. One way to counter the long lines is by using the self-checkout. Well, due to the understaffing, Fry’s frequently leaves the self-checkout stations closed. The long lines at the registers would also move quicker if there were enough people to help bag the groceries after the clerk runs them by the scanner. Not to say that there’s never someone to bag the groceries, but there are not enough of them to go around. With a high volume of customers, one would think that they would want to leave the aisles free of obstacles so that people could move freely throughout the store. Instead, every aisle is partially blocked with additional products stacked in front of the shelves. The aisles are narrow compared to the grocery store across the street, and then stacking merchandise in the aisles only serves to restrict movement. To add to the restricted movement, employees and vendors frequently have the aisles blocked while stocking the shelves. They do this during regular business hours. I don't know if they also stock the shelves after business hours, but it doesn't seem like it. To further restrict movement throughout the store, Fry’s personal shoppers push extra-large carts around and leave them parked in the aisles while they traverse the maze of customers, shopping carts and merchandise taking up space in the narrow aisles. Entering the store through the south entrance often entails walking through a cloud of putrid cigarette smoke because Fry’s employees stand on the other side of the wall used as a shopping cart corral situated next to the entrance. Per A.R.S. § 36-601.0, smoking is not permitted within 20 feet of the entrance and these employees are greater than 20 feet away from the door. However, they are less than 20 feet away from where customers must go to retrieve a shopping cart. That area is covered and does not get much if any breeze, so the cigarette smoke just hangs in the air and smells disgusting. Semi-frequently, there are no carts in the shopping cart corral area (see picture). In those cases, customers must walk back into the parking lot and retrieve a shopping cart from out there. Fry’s produce is usually fresh. With that said, there has been a number of times when an item, let’s say apples, is improperly identified by the tag in front of the same spot on the shelf. Most recently in December 2024, a bin of apples was marked as Gala Apples for $1.39 per pound. Luckily, I noticed that the UPC codes on all of the apples in that section was that of Honeycrisp apples for $2.79 per pound (twice the price). The benefits of shopping at Fry’s Marketplace is that their prices are competitive and they have a fuel points program where customers earn discounts for Fry’s Fuel by spending money at the store. Fry’s has a policy where the customers can complete a survey once every week to earn additional fuel discount points. Unfortunately, the (computer) server that runs the survey is frequently not working correctly. The best part of shopping at this Fry’s location is an employee named Alma who works at one of the registers. She is friendly, and she does her job quickly and accurately. If the line at her register is longer than other lines, I will still wait in her line. Odds are that she will process the customers in her longer line faster than the other employees with the shorter lines at their registers are capable of. Maricopa would benefit greatly if Fry’s would open a second location. The customers at this Fry’s Marketplace would benefit greatly if management would not consistently understaff this location.
Gamera O — Google review
The store is always well stocked and cashiers are always helpful and nice. Lines at the cash registers are well managed as well. Marked down a point just because of store design and parking lot design. The traffic in the parking lot often makes it hard to navigate and the store always seems too crowded because the aisles are smaller than newer stores usually have. I think this was probably fine before the influx of population here in Maricopa, but now is an issue almost all day. Otherwise great job. I especially like using the order online and pickup option!

Fry's Market Place in Maricopa is a convenient grocery store offering a wide range of products. The store is generally clean and well-organized, making it easy to navigate the aisles. However, the sushi we tried during our visit left something to be desired. The ginger was dry, and the temperature of the fish was not optimal. On the positive side, the bakery items were fresh and delicious, and we were impressed with the quality of the seafood, especially the lobster tails. The produce section also offered a good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. Overall, while there were some issues with the sushi, Fry's provides a satisfactory shopping experience with its variety of products and overall quality.

This used to be my favorite store since I was a kid because of the great discounts, however I really can't go anymore. I have severe allergies to dogs and there are always atleast 3 in there. What's worse is they allow them in the carts- which is a health code violation. I've seen them urinating on the floor several times and even on the shelves and produce. It's gotten very gross. I used to avoid Basha's since it's more expensive, but they don't seem to have the same dog problem Fry's does.
Cheri's R — Google review
Generally I do self check out, but since a register was open with no customers I went to it but was quickly reminded why I just do self checkout. Some customer service people have the worst attitudes. Upon checkout when I put my hand out to get the receipt she instead put it on the counter right next to my hand. Following that I said have a good day & she said absolutely nothing. My receipt says cashier was "Shawna" around 4:30p on a Monday so I'm not sure if it was her or if someone was using her register. But if you don't know like to deal with customers then why are you in customer service. 🤔

When you find yourself at Harrah's Ak-Chin, make sure to stop by Chop, Block & Brew for an unforgettable dining experience. This upscale restaurant has been delighting guests since its opening in 2018, specializing in traditional Maricopa cuisine with a modern twist. Known for its gourmet burgers and expertly cooked meats from a wood-burning mesquite grill, the menu is packed with mouthwatering options that are sure to satisfy any craving.
Really impressed with Chop, Block & Brew! The atmosphere was really nice for being in a casino, the service was great, drinks were tasty and the food was delicious. We got the spinach dip appetizer and were highly impressed with it! The bread for the dip was great as well. The fillet mignon was cooked perfectly and a very nice, high grade steak. 🥩 the garlic mashed potatoes were as expected. This place definitely surpassed my expectations for being a a steakhouse in a casino! 💯

Food is way overpriced. We ordered the shrimp cocktail, and the presentation for a restaurant like this was terrible; I thought I was getting a shrimp cocktail from a fast-food place. The NY strip steak was good—no problem there—but we thought, for some reason, they served vanilla ice cream with it, but we were told it was the garlic mashed potatoes. It made no sense since it was cold. The chicken piccata—I am no chef—was the worst I've had. And the mac and cheese was super salty. Now I understand why the ratings are so low. For those visiting, definitely don't eat here; it's a waste of money.

Overpriced a la cart garbage. Ordered prime rib that was cold and loaded with gristle and fat.. $42.. mashed potato was terrible.. they were stiff as cement.. unedible. My date had shrimp scampi with lobster and scallops.. they ran out of scallops.. didn't offer a substitute.. couldn't find any evidence of lobster. The waiter shrugged his shoulders when we asked. Also ordered crab cakes.. $26.. 2 small crab cakes on tarter sauce.. salad was the only decent food. I was shocked at the low quality food and the very slow service. It too 50 minutes to get cold prime rib and scampi.. waiter was rarely around.. the bill was $160 with tax. Prime rib, scampi, salad and crab cakes.. no drinks.. save your money

It’s a little drive to get out there but it was worth it, staff is very attentive, friendly and accommodating. Had the Caesar Salad (delicious), Prime Rib and the Shishito peppers was a nice addition, side of Creamed Spinach and the Cheese Cake (no picture, sorry not sorry). Everything was very tasty and well prepared. Would definitely repeat.

Food was wonderful, atmosphere was nice, service left a lot to be desired. I understand not getting great service when a restaurant is slammed, however there was not many people here and our service left a lot to be desired.

We live in Maricopa and loved taking a date night to Chop Block. The food was absolutely delicious! The price was what to expect for a nice steak house! The presentation of the all the food was spot on! Loved our experience and will be back to try other things on the menu!

Steak delicious. Not impress with their chocolate cake . It looks like a cheap dessert, not worth it. It tasted old refrigerated for days and that was not mouse. Service as always great

My husband, and I dine here frequently. Especially, utilizing my Caesar's Rewards, which is great to cover a portion of your meal. The service is great. The food, and presentation is awesome. The atmosphere and convivial, ambiance is fantastic. Sammy and Julie are awesome at managing the restaurant, and keeping everything up to par. A few Server's we have had, which were Samuel and Desiree, were awesome. If you haven't dined here before, while visiting Harrah's Akchin Casino, you must have dinner here, at least once. You won't be disappointed.

Hamburger restaurant
Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is a charming vintage-style eatery that specializes in delicious steakburgers, hot dogs, and classic fast-food favorites, all served alongside their signature frozen custard. During my visit to the Maricopa location on a bustling Friday afternoon, I was greeted by a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. The experience began on a high note with complimentary custard for newcomers like myself.
I don’t get to say this often, but this place did everything right. I visted Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers in Maricopa on a Friday a little before noon. There were a few tables with customers seated, and one customer at the ordering counter when I walked in. When the first customer completed ordering their food, I stepped up to the counter and placed my order. I ordered the Double cheeseburger combo. The total was $12.27. I believe the guy who took my order was a manager, but I’m not positive. Prior to ordering, he asked me if I was using the app and I told him no and that this was my first visit to this chain. He presented me with a card to use for downloading the app and proceeded to tell me that the points add up quickly and by using the app for the first time, I would get a free double steakburger or regular concrete which is apparently what they call their frozen custard. I took a seat and after a very short wait, my number was called and I was presented with my meal at the pick-up counter. It was clearly freshly prepared and didn’t take long at all. The burger was prepared just as I ordered it and was hot and tasty. I wouldn’t say that it was any better or worse than other burger chains, but it did taste just a touch salty to me, although not overwhelmingly salty. They did not skimp on the French fries either. The lobby was clean, the trash bins were empty and the trays were not stacked up on top of the bins. Obviously, they maintain high standards for how they present themselves to their customers. As I was finishing my meal, the same guy who took my order was checking the lobby and removing trays from customers’ tables for them. He offered to take my tray, but I told him that I’d get it. He inquired about my meal and asked me if I thought I’d be back. We had a nice, brief conversation. Yeah, I’ll probably be back. Like I said, this place did everything right.

I visited for the first time recently and loved it everything was tasty, and the service was quick and friendly. It’s a fast-casual spot where you order at the counter and pick up your food when it’s ready, with both dine-in and drive-thru options. I had the prime rib burger combo with fries and a strawberry custard shake highly recommend it!

During our first visit to Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers, we were pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere and generous hospitality. As newcomers, we received a complimentary custard, setting a positive tone from the start. I opted for the jalapeño double steakburger, while my wife enjoyed the California burger paired with crispy onion rings. Both burgers were flavorful and satisfying, complemented by fries that, while reminiscent of picnic sticks, still offered a good crunch. The highlight of our meal was the custard with Butterfinger topping, which rivaled popular Blizzard desserts in taste and quality. The creamy texture and rich flavors made it a memorable treat. The restaurant's ambiance, designed like a 50s diner, added nostalgia and character to our dining experience. Service was exemplary, with attentive staff ensuring our needs were met promptly. Overall, Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers provided us with a delightful dining experience, combining great food, friendly service, and a nostalgic atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We look forward to returning to explore more of their menu offerings in the future.

The pattys look like they were smashed with a hydraulic press. They patties were about the size of a dinner plate, and were just thin burnt grease. If you don't believe me look at the picture. The thought that someone put this on a plate and gave it to a customer is comical. We actually got a good laugh even though it was kinda gross. We were in a hurry, so we didn't make a big fuss. I have had plenty of other good experiences here, but this was bad.

I was really craving a smash burger, check and decided to give Freddy's a try turned out to be a great choice. Even though it was busy when we got there, the service was quick, the staff was friendly, and the place was clean. All of us, including our picky kid, enjoyed the food and we’re definitely planning to come back, maybe to try the shakes next time.

I love freddys food, but haven't been able to eat it here because they only accept cash. They don't post it anywhere so I had to back out of the drive thru.

I brought my mom and aunt here for mothers day. It was good enough for us to enjoy the custard and a small lunch. The staff here is friendly but they might have cut back on staffing due to economy or whatever. Hopefully they hire more people. The food is crisp and there is plenty of places to sit. Parking could be better.

The food here is solid, but the sodas taste off. They have a strange aftertaste, almost like they’re old. I’ve noticed this both times I visited, so the soda machines might need to be checked.
