SplashDown Beach is a popular water park in Fishkill, known as 'America's Biggest Little Water Park.' It offers a variety of attractions including slides, rides, a wave pool, and play areas. Some of the highlights include the Humunga Half-Pipe and the Arctic Mammoth. While it can get crowded on weekends, getting season passes is recommended as they quickly pay off. However, keep in mind that weather conditions like rain can affect your plans since it's an outdoor park.
Ive been coming here since I was a kid! To see it turn into this amazing water park is awesome. The amount of new rides plus the original ones is awesome. The wait times are not crazy (we went during the week) the areas are kept clean. There are many food stands bath rooms and sitting areas. Id highly recommend this water park to friends and family

Came here for the first time today. Arrived at 2 and left at 6 on a Sunday afternoon. There was enough time for us to try all the rides. Very impressed by this waterpark. Despite its smaller size, the park was well designed with no feeling of overcrowdedness. Some line coming in but it was not a long wait. There’s also a line for the rides but they generally move fairly quickly. Not a concern in being able to do them all with the time we had. Food was good, and the rides were a good mix of varieties of different levels. We appreciate the cleanness, multiple parking lots and plenty of tables and chairs to chill. Even though the park closes at 6, the rides continue to operate until probably 7. No one is kicking you out! We had a really good time. Recommend checking it out if you are in the area.

Had an awesome time at SplashDown Beach! The park was super clean, well organized, and had something fun for everyone whether you’re into thrill slides or just want to chill in the lazy river. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the lines moved pretty quickly. Definitely recommend buying tickets in advance to skip the wait and get right in. Perfect spot for a summer day with friends or family!

This place is an oasis. The park is beautiful and very well-maintained. I don't think I saw one piece of garbage laying around anywhere. It is extremely family friendly oriented and I picked a perfect day to go as it is clear skies with a high of 84 🌞 Adults and kids will love this place.

We had a great experience with my family. The lifeguards were very professional, responsible, and respectful of each other. We felt very welcome. It’s truly one of the best parks!”

Great hidden Gem in Fishkill. Everything is fresh. Amazing Red sauce.. Gio was an amazing server. So sweet & attentive. The focaccia bread was lovely and I highly recommend the personal pizzas to start or share as It's actually very large for one person. Just Perfect. Everything else was wonderful as well. Ty Gio. You made my visit fun with my Adult children.

If you haven't been here before, you need to stop in. I was greeted by a very friendly server. He was excellent. Very attentive, stopping by at just the right pace to make sure I didn't need anything, but not to the point where i felt I was being rushed. Menu has a lot to select from. I decided to order the Cafe BLT Sandwich... was not disappointed, it was excellent!

We had a great experience. Service was very friendly and responsive. Food was great, cooked just right. They have half portion prices, which is very nice. We were traveling through, and we're very pleased. We had shrimp special, salmon entree, and steak salad. If you like spicy food, ask for their chili sauce that comes with the salmon. Thank you!

A very nice place to stop and grab a bite in downtown Fishkill. The Tomato cafe serves some fantastic sandwiches and pasta in a cozy little cafe setting. The service was fantastic and the setting was relaxed. The side salads and the bread were delicious. My wife absolutely loved her pasta primavera dish and the ability to get it in a smaller half portion was appreciated as we were traveling and unfortunately couldn’t take left overs with us!

Lovely cozy place in downtown Fish, not expensive and lovely food. Also good customer service, very pleasant and food did not take long. I would definitely recommend the Philly cheesesteak with pepper jack cheese. Fresh and delicious. Would go back :)

I had a delicious hamburger with an equally exceptional side garden salad - the house dressing was superb. The burger was so huge that I brought half back to my friend's house. The service was very good until our waiter made us wait 20 minutes to pay after giving us the bill. In any case, the next time I visit my friend in Beacon, I wouldn't hesitate to dine here again.

The Dutchess Biercafe is a beloved spot in the region, known for its cozy and unassuming atmosphere. It has won awards for its Best Burger and Outdoor Dining. The restaurant offers a Belgian-inspired vibe with a rotating beer menu that includes Belgian and local beers.
Traditional "Pub" feeling. Regular customers and friendly welcoming staff. Excellent service. Amazing tap selection. (As a customer of a great many regionally themed taverns I was able to try beers I had never seen on tap!). The menu was nicely varied and had a few unique items. One of those being Bacon Apple Lentil soup. Freaking awesome. Smallish bar area. Two dining areas and a huge patio when the weather cooperates. Well worth a visit!

Wonderful restaurant with both indoor and outdoor dining. Food was absolutely delicious. Beers were tasty. And the staff was excellent. I definitely want to come back and try more of the menu.
Kevin F — Google review
Our apps were good, but entrees left much to be desired. The cheese curds (my personal fav) were a perfect combination of crunchy and cheesy, and the everything pretzels paired well with their accompanying dips. The chicken was OK, but the waffles were more dense and crumbly than I expected (like a biscuit). Paired with the extremely thick and sticky maple bacon jam, it was impossible to keep it from sticking to the plate and crumbling apart. Eating this as a sandwich as intended would not have worked. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was loaded with slaw and chipotle mayo, so it was messy, but tasted fine. Fair warning though, it typically comes with a spicy glaze, which we luckily asked for on the side. It was insanely hot! I couldn’t imagine making it through more than a few bites had it been on the sandwich, and we usually like hot & spicy! We added on their mac & cheese for an up charge, and it wasn’t worth it - it lacked in flavor and cheesiness, and the “Cheeto topping” didn’t add anything. Perhaps a good spot for beers and some plates to share, but wasn’t our cup of tea.

Decided to try this restaurant for lunch while in the area based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. Food, service and atmosphere was great! We had the pleasure of being taken care of by Amanda. Good came out, hot, fresh and fast. Great spot, check them out.

What a wonderful place for really well done pub food. Belgian beer list and food but there are rotating pub favorites as well. The Irish Bangers with house made pierogi and peas was so flavorful. Service is wonderful as well
Daniel H — Google review
I tend to really like this place. I’ve been coming here since they were just a little shack. The last few times I was here I’ve been underwhelmed. Roasted Brussels sprouts are soggy served in a bowl with a hefty layer of maybe butter, oil, and water that it expels from being cooked too fast and in a crowded pan. I think my problem with this is that the whole reason people order roasted Brussels sprouts is for that signature charred leaf and caramelized flesh. It’s just disappointing. This is just a boiled mess. Greek salad is good. Chicken is overcooked. Kids meals are always good.
David C — Google review
When the chicken sandwich came, I started to doubt my life. Is it really necessary? No. Should you order it? At least once in your life? Absolutely yes.
Nicky C — Google review
Dutchess Biercafe feels like Fishkill’s own MacLaren’s Pub or Central Perk—a place you keep coming back to, not just for the endless beer list and great food, but because it’s got that “this could be our spot” vibe.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful Greek dining experience, look no further than Athena Gyro. This charming eatery offers an array of fresh and flavorful dishes that are perfect for those who want to indulge without feeling weighed down. The Greek salad is a standout, featuring home-style preparation with dill and fresh feta served alongside a tangy dressing. Their lentil soup is beautifully crafted with a tomato base that tantalizes the taste buds.
Athena Gyro is truly a hidden gem in Fishkill area. I travel all the way from Middletown to eat quality Greek food since there is non near us. I highly recommend the Gyro Platter with the salad. The lamb is tender and succulent and seasoned amazingly. The Greek salad dressing refreshing and has an amazing zest! If you are looking for amazing Mediterranean food from great people and large portions you got to try Athena Gyro.

My hubby and I were visiting and were told to try another diner for dinner. We were not impressed at all!! The next day we drove around and found this wonderful gem of a restaurant! 10/10!!! EVERYTHING we ordered was fresh, portions were huge and the atmosphere was great!! He got the lamb burger w/greek fries and I ordered the Mediterranean chickpea salad (added gyro meat). So much so that we decided to eat here for the remainder of our stay!! I mean, IYKYK!! Why chance being disappointed when you can eat good, not break the bank and receive excellent service?!! Win! Win!!

We’ve eaten in once and get take out every couple of months or so since moving to Fishkill in September 2022. Consistently delicious food and friendly service. Fair prices with generous portions. You will leave here full and with leftovers. Have yet to get dessert, but their desserts look amazing.
Shan W — Google review
I got the spanakopita (spinach pie), Greek salad, papoutsaki (half of an eggplant stuffed) which is not veg friendly because it has ground meat, dolmades (stuffed grape leaves), mushroom barley soup and cheesecake baklava. The spinach pie was dry and felt stale, I loved the dolmades and came with a sour cream dip. The cheesecake was good but the baklava layer was so hard couldn't cut it with a knife so only ate the top. I gave away the spanakopita because it had meat which I didn't know. And the mushroom soup tastes like it's from a can. There is free parking directly behind. Overall I feel like some of the food is over priced considering it doesn't feel homemade. They give you a pack of pita bread with your order so that's nice.

We recently returned from Crete and were looking to travel by mouth back to Greece. Athena was a tasty, fresh return to the Mediterranean. The salad was a classic big chunk bowl of joy. The real delight was the generous portion of salmon. We left full and satisfied. My new go-to place for clean food.

SANGRIA & GREEK FRIES FANS THIS IS YOUR PLACE I’ve already been twice and I’m so late in my review this place is one of the best Greek food I’ve had starting from the service ! The waiter and waitresses give you that fancy restaurant treatment very accommodating chill and also the outdoor seating when is nice it’s just perfect I know they have live music sometimes and the inside feels very inviting but I have not seat inside…now the food! Must have the Greek fries!! The hummus they’re going to change your life also I had the chicken gyro! 🥙 loved it and my ultimate favorite was their sangria ! It’s one of the best I’ve had in a long time as well! You can taste wine and it’s just perfectly balanced 🍷

I always love a good Greek place, so while my boyfriend and I were driving down from beacon, I started to Google search for Greek places on the way down. I happened to come across Athena Gyro and thought the pictures looked pretty good. We drove slightly back in the other direction to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The interior is so cute, clean and comfortable. Our server was great and checked on us a few times even though we were annoying and indecisive. We settled on a gyro platter with rice for me and a gyro on a pita for him. Since he's a chicken tendies kind of city boy, he got that too, just because. Everything was amazing. The portions are huge and the food is tasty not oily. The salad dressing is yummy I finished my entire side salad and could barely finish my full meal. George, the owner, is so kind and also checked on us throughout our meal. Although we're not from the area, we drive up north often and will definitely be back to share more meals and conversation with George. If you haven't eaten in here yet, please do yourself a favor and give it a shot.

Super cute ambiance. They greeted us as we walked in, “sit wherever you like.” We ordered a bunch of food, obv we were super hungry. We got the falafel appetizer first, it could’ve and should’ve been cooked more and definitely more hot, they were warm, not even. We then got our entrees, my rice was cold not even semi warm and the chicken skewers as well. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be eaten that way but it would’ve been nice to know if so. The gyro my husband ordered was cold as well, the meat included was very little as it was mainly lettuce and tomato, super cheap with the onions. We ordered a Pepsi and it was like a bad fountain soda, I think it’s important to share that fact with customers, that it isn’t bottled or in a can. It’s okay though, when I use my microwave and air fryer tomorrow, best believe I’m going to devour all these leftovers. 😂 forgot to mention I had a coupon (good promotion) however the waitress was like “oh everyone has a coupon.”

Trattoria Locanda is a charming gem nestled in the heart of Fishkill, NY, where Southern Italian cuisine takes center stage. With its cozy atmosphere featuring exposed brick walls, this eatery is perfect for family gatherings or intimate dinners with friends. Huge shoutout to DoorDash for canceling my order after an hour, truly the hero of this story. (My girlfriend went full hangry at this point… think plotting vengeance on innocent appliances.) Luckily, Trattoria Locanda swooped in like the REAL superheroes: let us pick up anyway, gave a discount, AND threw in two slices of cheesecake like a peace treaty. 🍰 Penne alla Vodka: perfection. Cheese ravioli: cheesy pillows of deliciousness. Salads: crisp enough to slap you awake. Pumpkin cheesecake: Could end wars if it wanted to… OBSESSED. Girlfriend happy, I survived, food is insane. 10/10, so good they reversed the emotional damage DoorDash caused. Therapy through pasta. 🖤

We were out of town from MD to visit family in NY. Found this gem when looking for restaurants near our hotel. Main St Fishkill was decorated so pretty for the season as was the restaurant. Service was wonderful and meals delicious. Pricing and portion size gracious as well. Wish near our home because so many menu choices and daily specials. We enjoyed calarmari, bruchetta, came with fresh bread, a lg side salad, side pasta, veal franchese and zuppa seafood were main entrees and finished with tiramisu.🎄❣

Beautiful little spot for delicious Italian food. We went on a Thursday night and it was understandably quiet which worked out well for us as we didn't have a reservation. I hear the weekends get very busy. The food was very flavorful and cooked well. The seasonings were on point, not too salty, or strongly flavored, just right. Bread served before dinner was delicious and it came with an authentic sun dried tomato in olive oil accoutrement. Wow, loved that. Tasted like the stuff my family puts out at holidays and gatherings. Salad was perfectly dressed in a light Caesar dressing that was so tasty. We had some pasta dishes and a chicken dish and everything was perfection. Mashed potatoes were my fav, just right in flavor and texture. Our server was super sweet, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel like we were having dinner at a family members house. This place is an authentic Italian comfort food gem. We found our new favorite spot. :)

While the food was very good the experience was unbelievably bad. My family and I went there because it looked promising. It took 15 minutes just to get a menu ( because we had to ask) then waited an hour. Finally we asked about the status of our food and they said the salads would be coming shortly… we asked to skip the salads because we needed to get out of there and finally got our meals after 1.5 hours. They never brought out our pasta and my wife had to leave with our child and got hers to go (they didn’t include utensils). While the food was good, I’d never go back. They comped our bottle of wine but this was unacceptable.

Nice location, beautiful atmosphere, great service, what could go wrong? The food! We stopped in near end of a long road trip for dinner. It’s really quite nice inside. Our meal however was sub par. Salad just didn’t do it. The eggplant parmesan was so tough I had to use a knife to cut it. Pasta was adequate but it tasted like canned sauce. Good dinner rolls with garlic and the house red wine was ok also. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing? Probably not. Tragic.
Michael P — Google review
Had a 645 reservation, we were asked to have a drink at the bar while our table got ready. We watched as the table was set, and finally asked if we should sit since no one came to get us. We waited another 15 minutes before the waiter came and we had to ask if there were any specials as she didn’t offer them. We got our salad at 8pm. Table next to us sat at the same time but were clearly friends of the owner, who sat with them the entire time enjoying their meal . Had to pick up our kid at 9 so didn’t have time for dessert. Will spend our anniversary elsewhere next time.

Came here on a Friday with no reservations and sat outside, which was fine because it was nice outside. The only issue was that it was threatening to rain at anytime. The owner /manager assured us not to worry about anything and just enjoy ourselves. We felt instantly relaxed. About 20 minutes into our evening there outside it started to rain. They came outside with us immediately and helped us take everything inside. They found a small table for us and set us up. It was perfect! The inside ambience was so cozy with the bricks, the wine, and the soft lighting. Some people here on Google complained about the noise, but we kind of liked it. It added to feel and vibe of the place. During our meals, which were amazing by the way, the owner /manager stopped by multiple times to see if everything was OK which impressed us. The entire staff was attentive, kind, and happy. When we got up to leave the owner/manager saw us from the back of the restaurant and made his way up to us to formally say goodbye. Now that's how you run a restaurant!!!! Thanks, we will be back often....

I just don't understand how a pizza place can be this successful with a red sauce that is bland. Yes it's red. I think it has tomatoes in it and that's about it. I don't detect any spices. Garlic is nonexistent!! This pizzeria reminds me of those startup pizzerias that last for six months and then die off because their pizza is bland & overpriced.. this restaurant in Fishkill / Beacon I would rank 12th in pizzerias for the area. Their 'A la Vodka sauce' is also a joke.

The specialty slices are good if not really good, and the individual slices (3.95) are much larger than you get in even the large cheese pie ($18.95) 👀 (and the slices were small in the large pie). I know inflation is hurting everyone right now, but I feel $27.50 for a large plain pie and an order of garlic knots is a little on the high end?

The prime rib is just as good as it used to be. The staff was very friendly and attention to detail. We to eat here on a Friday night at 830 and there was only 2 other tables seated. They did however take the new England clam chowder off the menu. The pop overs were a little dryer then I remember and the strawberry butter wasn't as sweet. But over all was a very good dinning experience. They had a grilled bacon slab that was excellent

We had five entrees between us, three were very good ones and two mediocre at best. Comments in the pictures below. My old fashioned cocktail was also mediocre. The service was fine. The men’s room needed to be cleaned.

Was here for Restaurant Week and while service was very good, the food was solid, but not great. We did order of the special menu and would order off the regular menu next time. Was given a popover to start, then ordered the corn and cream chowder (a bit too thick), sirloin steak and apple strudel (top was to sugary) with vanilla ice cream.

Tonight at around 9pm I ate the worst baby back ribs I have ever eaten in my life. Dry and stuff, with an awful sauce that tasted like ketchup. At 2:30am tonight I threw it all up. Everything else was fine. Won't be returning.

Food was excellent as always and was able to enjoy an early birthday dinner with my friends. I enjoyed the lobster bisque soup and the stuffed salmon. Jillian our waitress was a sweetheart and very professional. Can't wait to go back again and oh yeah don't forget the popovers.

Terrific food and now after a six year hiatus live music is back! The Ang n' Ed Acoustic Duo are so proud to have had the honor of bringing it back... check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

Sad to hear this place is closing so we visited one more time! I used to work here years ago and was excited to be back inside. We ordered prime rib and duck breast. It was all really, really good. The vegetables were flavorful, the mashed potatoes creamy, and the proteins were cooked perfectly. The popovers were a bit dry and hard, but otherwise we were quite happy. I hope with an internal update to the restaurant, it will be able to regain some of its past charm.

The restaurant provides lunch, dinner, and kids menus with gluten-free options available. Customers have praised the delicious salad bar and friendly staff members. Some diners have enjoyed perfectly cooked N.Y.
I’ve dined here 4 separate occasions while on business . All but one have been excellent . Staff is good but can be on the slow side. Food is great . Salad bar (unlimited) is awesome . If you desire spinach instead of lettuce head to the end of the salad bar first!

DIRTY fan(hadn’t been cleaned in months with clumps of dust) blowing straight at the salad bar from the floor up, so any dust, dirt, or hair being kicked up by people’s feet goes right in your food. These people are clueless!! Im guessing their KITCHEN is just as dirty. Even if they remove the fan cause of this review. Just ask yourself, If they are careless about a simple thing like this, what else is behind the door? I just got the salad bar. It was ok. It looked like things were staring to get dried out. The Cottage cheese starting to get hard. The cheese was getting rubbery. Some of the items in the middle of the bar were hard to get to and I imagined someone dragging an article of clothing through the food. It would be easy to do. SERVICE was ok. The server came by to take our order and drop off the food. Never asked how everything was or offered any refills for our drinks. Had to get his attention for the check.

Great salad bar, good salmon and a few really handsome staff members! The last time we were here, we were greeted and seated by a very handsome young man who graciously moved us after noticing that our rowdy neighbors (other restaurant guests) were making us uncomfortable. The salad bar is yummy and atmosphere homey. I have had a few entrees that could be better, but if we stick with the basics its usually an enjoyable meal. We had one bad experience with a grumpy older lady server and poor food quality recently but I am going to overlook that and hope it was an anomaly. I will recommend skipping dessert, they seem to buy low quality desserts.

Very excited to see it busy. Last few times it was very empty. Waitress never gave me my lemon in my diet soda. Salad bar had a lot of empty buckets. 15 minutes after we ordered.. we were informed they ran out of garlic mashed potatoes that comes with the meal. The frizzled onions were scraps. Digging to the bottom of the barrel. The steaks were so loaded with salt; it's disgusting! My honey said the men's room was filthy. The service was not great. My favorite part - the raisin nut bread. I guess new management. A nice time with my honey.... Wrong choice of restaurant! Very disappointing.

We went to celebrate my mother's birthday and we had a great time. Me and my wife ordered the N.Y. strip and it was perfectly cooked, and got hand cut French fries with it. The salad bar was very good, especially the fresh baked bread. We would definitely come back again, well worth the trip.

Just tried this place out for the first time and it was great! The food and service were very good. Between all of us at our table we had the chicken, pork, and squash boat and they were all delicious. The service was great as well. We went to see the Abbott and Costello show and that was very well done too! I really have no complaints about the entire evening. Also, we felt very comfortable with all of the precautions they are taking for covid-19. There is no one at the table next to you and there is plexi glass up between tables, it was all very thorough. So happy we tried this place out and we will definitely be going back!

This year I attended four events at Clover Creek. The shows were entertaining, funny and the actors were quite professional. It is a small venue but they have done a wonderful job with set design. The dinner were excellent although the entree choices remain the same for a season, but the quality and quantity were fine. Service at the show was great too. Everyone is friendly and outgoing. Check out the new shows for the spring!! I'll be going for sure! Finally, an intimate dinner theater experience in the Hudson Valley!!

Wonderful show with great actors.the food was another story. My niece's mother in law got the shrimp and told the owner it wasn't good.it was dry and rubbery.she basically was dismissed and as the women walked away all she said was "ill let them know". After the show she didn't feel well and had to be taken home.the courteous thing would have been to offer s replacement meal or at least an apology over the quality.it really wasn't good.my mother never got her dessert and shared instead and the whoopie pie was filled with a cream made of confectioners sugar and water.it was really awful. The show was fabulous but the dinner not so much at least for one person at the table

This was our second time here. I found myself once again surprised at the quality of the food. For some reason, I never expect dinner theater to have delicious food, but again I stuffed myself, and the value was great. We saw a show that our friend directed, so of course I'm biased. It was wonderful, and made for great discussion on the drive home. Worth the drive in from New Jersey, and made for a great date night (not to mention a lot less hassle than seeing something on Broadway). Looking forward to our next visit!

Food was OK and the show was fine. There were four dinner options (steak, shrimp, chicken, and veg), three of which were gluten free. I wouldn't recommend it for a date night as you sit at communal tables so not very private but if it would be good if you went in a group. The show/acting was middle of the road.... But it was fun to watch.

Having read some of the poor reviews I was really concerned as to what we would find. Much to my surprise, it turned out to be excellent. Felicia (sp) was super helpful and informative with making reservations The food was okay. Large portions. Tasty. Don’t expect fine dining, it isn’t that. More like catering hall. Service was pleasant, again not high level yet certainly accommodating The acting was superb. We were impressed w the entire cast and with out question Lauren Silverman ( corie). Was a stand out in barefoot in the part. She was bubbly, adorable and carried the part w perfection. As did the entire cast. We Look forward to another visit!

History Museums
Step back in time at the Van Wyck Homestead Museum, a historic Dutch colonial house dating back to 1732. During the Revolutionary War, it served as officers' quarters for the Continental Army and was a key location for the Fishkill Supply Depot. Today, the Fishkill Historical Society manages the property and offers self-guided tours from dawn to dusk, with guided tours available on select dates. The museum showcases exhibits and artifacts related to Fishkill's role in the American Revolution.
Very nice old house with a lot of history. I was there for a paranormal investigation. Which was great. Had a very good time and meet a lot of nice people. The house which is a Museum is completely interesting, also well kept. The staff is wonderful and know their history. I recommend going.

Historic home with very knowledgeable guide, the museum is completely self supporting and and for donations, no set admission. We have $20 and joined the historical society that oversees the museum. They're only open weekends so check to be sure before you go
For A — Google review
The man working/ volunteering at the museum was not kind. When I arrived, he welcomed me warmly. He asked if I was there for a tour and I told him I was not interested because I had limited time; my family was in the car and it was hot outside. They have no interest in the revolutionary war. He informed me that they had air conditioning jokingly. I thanked him but said my family wasn't interested, may I look around? He told me I could not. Then I asked if I could look in the foyer where several paintings were hanging. He told me I could not. He stated I could only be where I was standing (in the entrance) and I was not allowed to enter without accepting a tour. I would normally never leave a review like this but he was so rude and detrimental to the cause of revolutionary war knowledge, I just had to. I said nothing inflammatory and stamped my daughter's national park passport before leaving. It looked like a nice place to visit, but unfortunately I may never know.

Another revolutionary war site with an interesting history. Self guided tour of the grounds. House tours available on the weekend.
Vincent N — Google review
Great well preserved historical site. It's very peaceful to go for a self guided tour of the grounds. Even though it's right near major roads it's still quiet and peaceful. It's an excellent stop for kids to stretch their legs if you're getting off 84 for gas or a snack nearby.
Matthew — Google review
Great experience when they're open for tours, great experience when they're not as well. You're able to walk around the grounds. The Fishkill Historical Society has made self-guided touring easy; signs with details about the areas of the homestead, as well as sites around the property are a help to understand the true value of preservation of this important historic place. A must-see for any history buff, and their family days are a blast for the kids, featuring period accurate games and character actors.

Nice paved path around the entire park for walking/jogging. Unfortunately no pets allowed. There's a nice sized pavilion towards the back of the park right next to the playground. I was disappointed with the playground. It's small and there are large rocks protruding from the ground right under the swing set.

Martial arts school
Located in Fishkill, NY, the Jeet Kune Do Martial Arts Institute has been offering training since 1994. It is the sole facility in town that specializes in teaching Jeet Kune Do. The institute is highly regarded for its instructors, led by Sifu Richard Torres, who are dedicated to helping students reach their full potential. Students of various ages and backgrounds have found a welcoming and supportive environment at the institute.
Hands down the best. Skills I learned from falling properly saved me from a serious concussion after slipping on an icey walkway. Chin tuck and side slap was instinctual. The lessons, quality of instruction and the care Sifu Torres teaches are lessons you’ll keep with you for the rest of your life. Take a couple classes and see for yourself.
William A — Google review
Enrolled my son's there 30 years ago. It has had a lasting effect on their lives. This is not a silly karate school that awards belts every month. This is the real deal, belt awards take about a year each, only after the student masters each level. There are no give aways, either you master the level,or no advancement. The instructors are black belts in JKD,patient and tolerant, never bullying. When my granddaughter is old enough,I'm bringing her there for training. Also,at 68,I'm signing up for training. Never too young or old to develop the excellent skills imparted at this school.
Billy B — Google review
I sat in and watched the class about 4 years ago but felt at 46 and just starting I wouldn't be able to handle the physical requirements. Joined last year at 50 and have had an excellent experience as the instructors under Sifu Torres push you to do your best but also know everyone's capabilities vary depending on when they start, past experience, etc. Has been almost a year now and its one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. As another reviewer noted, its a more practical approach to self-defense than I've ever seen, the instructors are down-to-earth and do a great job of ensuring you continue to learn, the rigorous exercises help get you into shape in order to effectively use the skills they teach you, and the atmosphere is much more of a family than a sterile school environment. Again, I've visited a few schools throughout the years with various styles, and here, the combination of a direct, effective, practical style, unbelievably skilled yet approachable instructors (all with a great sense of humor), and the leadership of Sifu Richard Torres, this is a true gem excelling in the style made famous by Bruce Lee like no other school I've ever seen!
D. C — Google review
I have been part of this school since 1998. I may be biased however, prior to joining I had experience in tai chi and classic karate. Sifu Richard Torres is by far the best instructor for training in JKD. He is able to cultivate each student individually bringing out your personal best.
James S — Google review
Im coming up on two years this summer training at the JKD MIA. And i can proudly say it has been two of the greatest physical and mental years of training of my life. I didnt begin taking martial arts til i was 27 and choosing this school was easily one of the best decisions i have ever made! Sifu Richard Torres and his instructors are second to none when it comes to Jeet Kune Do. The school will quickly embrace you as all the students and instructors become family! Anyone looking to start or embark in a journey in martial arts shouldnt look anywhere else but this school. Will not find a more efficient martial art than this anywhere!
Chris B — Google review
I've trained in several styles of Martial Arts since i was young and continued for many years until a work load and time consuming employment in Law enforcement and several injuries optained while working hindered my training and continuance with a Martial Arts school. After my retirement i was in search of a Martial Arts school but not any Martial Arts school, i was looking to train in Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do. I came upon The Jeet Kune Do Martial Arts Institute in Fishkill, NY last year and attended a viewing of the beginners class.......i was sold immediatley!!!!!!!! In May of 2012 i started training under owner Sifu Richard Torres and instructers Christopher J LaFalce and Jesse Ohliger. This by far has been one of the BEST decisions i've made in my life. The training there is second to none. It's a no nonsence approach to realistic street defense as developed by Bruce Lee. Sifu Torres' approach to training shows the years of research, intensive training and detication to the Art and Philosophy of Jeet Kune Do. My only wish is that i would have been here since the begining at the opening of this school, but it's never too late, at age 50 i'm begining to get my life back and feeling alive again thanks to Sifu Torres and The Jeet Kune Do Martial Arts Institute!!!!!

My cousin sam works out alot, story short he had to go a medical program for 2 months because of a problem, fast forward a few weeks after he got out. my parents were terraforming and cutting tree branches with a chainsaw, next thing you know and the internet cable goes down and you can't even watch YouTube. Me and sam have a realm on minecraft and with no internet I couldn't play with him. I started to cry and I said I hated my life. Course I didn't meant the but then I got the idea to go to the libary. Fast forward to when I get there I walked in the door and I already got a good vibe. 2 floors and a basement. Wifi. Every book that's ever existed. Art. Happiness. I brought my nintendo switch to play with sam. The internet worked great, and I was able to play for a long time. not only can you read books, but it also has computers, charging outlets, the most chill able tables & chairs, and even a TV with a Nintendo hooked up to it. If you live in fishkill and need to go to a libary, this is THE one to go to. 10/10

Good selection of reference books, local area books, general library books and they're very children-friendly: definitely encouraging to all families. Library itself is very homely, not cold like some libraries, like going into someone's house (and it even looks the part too!).

This pandemic caught us all off guard! I had been taking my granddaughters to the library each week for storytime. They LOVED it. But then, no storytime. Then I found out that there was a wonderful program to encourage kids to keep reading and encouraging them to read different genres. Each week or two we pick up a bag with a craft project that matches a genre- fairy tales, animal stories, etc. They LOVE it! Thank you SO MUCH for doing such a spectacular job of encouraging the little ones to keep listening to stories!!! Mrs. Lopez

Chipotle Mexican Grill is a popular fast-food destination that specializes in delicious Mexican cuisine. Here, you can indulge in the joy of crafting your own meal with customizable options like burritos, tacos, and bowls. The experience allows you to select fresh ingredients tailored to your taste, making each visit a unique culinary adventure. Whether you're craving something hearty or light, Chipotle has something for everyone!
This location has become so disappointing, I don’t know what happened. It used to be great. Lately I feel like I’ve had nothing but bad experiences between no chips most of the time, getting the completely wrong order, now the portions. Like there’s a good chunk of my chicken bowl just missing? Staff is always nice but management is clearly lacking here. Do better.
Elizabeth — Google review
Truly a terrible, awful Chipotle. I don't exaggerate when I say 80% of the time my order is wrong. If you order fajita veggies you are highly likely not to get them. Today is my final straw -- tacos were missing not only fajita veggies but also missing beans, had hardly any lettuce at all, the corn salsa was not salsa but just a few corn kernels. So sad and so incredibly disappointing. Oh, and anytime you report it on the app, the 1st time they might give you a credit for an entree, but after reporting again (when they inevitably mess up again) they will just give you a credit for a free drink even if your entree was completely wrong. Not to mention you can only use the credit as part of another order, so even when they royally mess up (almost always) they are finding a way to get more of your money. Infuriating. A disgrace. The world would be better if this Chipotle went out of business. Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely HORRIBLE. I found a piece of plastic in my food. Unsanitary and outright hazardous/disgusting. I had an online order and when I said they did not include my chips I got brushed off and told they didn’t have any. Don’t you think you should inform you customers instead of them having to go back and ask. SO unprofessional. The girl who I spoke to was nothing but nasty as well. POOR POOR POOR establishment.
Allison B — Google review
ordered online asked for extra veggies (there were none), napkins and utensils (none either), there’s barely any lettuce or cheese and the bowl wasn’t full (forgot to take a pic right when i opened it). after reading the other reviews i’m surprised it wasn’t worse than that…

The food was pretty good but the place was filthy. This particular Chipotle is always crowded i guess due to the location. It's close to Walmart and route 9. We usually enjoy the food the service is sometimes ok depending on who you get to serve you. The place is always dirty, food is on the floor and the chairs. I dont think they have enough employees and I think it's because the employees are younger. We visited recently cause that's what my nephew wanted and there was no ice in the ice machine so I brought it to the attention of one of the employees and she stated oh yeah they know that someone has to put ice in the machine so I asked her when will that be she just shrugged her shoulders and walked away, really? They have to do better.
Jackie M — Google review
Went there twice within a week when visiting the area. They seem to give smaller portions, a lot of the food isn't fresh, and they are not very attentive for the most part, as I did encounter one employee who was friendly.
Heather — Google review
im not even sure how this location is still up and running its always so filthy and slow. on two different occasions ive found stickers from avocados in my bowls and another random piece of plastic. that just goes to show that ingredients are probably never prepped correctly.
Mimi — Google review
GO TO SALSA FRESCO JUST ACROSS THE ROAD. This place gets worse and worse. They are always out of something, often vegetables but also chicken. Today it was chicken - but they told us it would be 10 minutes, so we decided to wait for the chicken (we didn't want beef/steak). As people arrived we asked them if they didn't want chicken to go to the front but some people also decided to wait for chicken. The cook was turning over the chicken, you could see it was almost done. After 10 minutes he took it off, chopped it up and even though there were now 8+ people waiting for chicken, took the chicken and gave it to the servers doing online orders. So we were still without chicken!! It was so customer unfriendly! The cook should have at least given enough chicken for the 8 people waiting in line and the rest could have gone for the online orders. It just reinforced that this chipotle is REALLY BADLY MANAGED!!! Go to salsa fresco instead since it's just across the street.

Wow, what an absolute gem this place is! We visited the area for a hiking trip, and decided to check out Gymkhana based on their amazing reviews. I see what all the hype is about now. This is the best Indian food I’ve ever had! Each dish was SO flavorful. The portions were big, and prices were very reasonable. If you love great food, good prices and leftovers to take home with you to enjoy for later.. don’t hesitate. We will definitely be back!

Gymkhana Cuisine of India turned out to be a great spot for a casual yet flavorful Indian dining experience. The ambiance is minimal—not too fancy, but clean and comfortable, which worked perfectly for our group. We ordered a mix of vegetarian dishes for those who prefer veg, along with chicken and fish options for the rest—and honestly, everyone enjoyed their meal. The flavors were rich, the portions were generous, and everything felt freshly made. Service was quick and efficient—we didn’t have to wait long at all after placing our order, which was a big plus. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience and would definitely come back if I’m in the area and craving Indian food.

Stopped by for a quick dinner. One of the best indian food I've ever had. We are going to stop by again on our way back. Service was fast, place has great variety of food, we didn't have to wait to get seated during peak dinner time, and the bathrooms are nice and clean. Best of all, the curry is amazing. The portioning was very generous me and my husband shared one curry (we both had mango lassi though.) Definitely recommend.

I started with the lamb samosa, they were large, perfectly crisp, and absolutely delectable. For my main course, I had the Kori Salan with a side of garlic naan, and I can honestly say I haven’t enjoyed food this much in a very long time. I only wish I lived closer. The service exceeded expectations, warm and attentive without being overbearing. Even more telling was the atmosphere: the customers seemed like regulars, greeted by name with genuine smiles as they walked in. A true hidden gem.

The aromas as you enter are incredibly appealing. The restaurant has a modern look and vibe but serves up very traditional Indian cuisine. Each dish was delicious! The portions were generous as well and the value for your money is excellent. We will definitely return.

🔥 Restaurant Review: Gymkhana Grill – Albany, NY 🔥 As a foodie travel chef, I explore restaurants and cuisines across the country—and Gymkhana Cuisine of India absolutely delivered! 🙌 I was warmly greeted and accommodated for takeout. The Gymkhana Mixed Grill? A sizzling, smoky masterpiece! 🍖🔥 Juicy, bold, and cooked to perfection. The Dal Makhani was rich and flavorful (though I’d prefer a little less tomato). Staff were super friendly, and the vibe was warm and welcoming. If you love Indian food, this place is a must. 😋💯 👉 Question for you: What’s your go-to Indian dish when you eat out? Let me know—I’m always looking for new favorites to try! 🍛👇 ________________________________________ 📌 Hashtags: #DocRaffino #FoodieFinds #IndianCuisine #MixedGrillMagic #TandooriLove #SpicyEats #GlutenFreeEats #TravelChef #AlbanyEats #RestaurantReview #CulinaryJourney

Pizza restaurant
If you're on the hunt for a delightful pizza experience, look no further than Pizza & Stuff. This charming, family-run establishment offers a cozy counter service where you can indulge in an array of Italian-American favorites like pizza, subs, and pasta. Their thin crust pizzas are consistently praised for their deliciousness; one standout is the Grandma pizza topped with sausage, pepperoni, and bacon. Other crowd-pleasers include the creamy white pizza and the mouthwatering lasagna pie.
Pizza & Stuff is a great place to grab dinner after a long day at work. Their delivery service is typically fast as well. The pizza is great, and the Italian meals are another good option as well. Try the boneless wings or garlic balls if you're looking for a good appetizer.

I wrote an email to Dave Portnoy from Barstool Sports suggesting he do a review of Pizza N Stuff because their pizza is so consistently delicious (thin crust style) I've had most of their different kinds of pizza, and all are equally good and I've been a long-time customer. Today I had a Grandma pizza with sausage, pepperoni, and bacon. Other favorites are the white pizza, and the lasagna pie in particular is just killer. Also love their philly cheesesteaks and strombolis. The owner Robert D is a great guy, and Pizza N Stuff is my "go to" place. I also feel compared to other pizza places their prices are very reasonable. If you are live in Fishkill or are visiting Fishkill, I highly recommend Pizza N Stuff. Best pizza in the area.

We've been to a good portion of pizza places in the area and this is a solid top 5. Service: excellent; personable, polite, and courteous. That level of service that the chain stores lack. Speed: fast; i can't attest to the extended menu but for some slices and a pizza roll <5. Cost: reasonable; avg around $20 for a family of 3. Quality: good; we got exactly what we expected. Overall: fast, reasonably priced, great service. We'll be back.

Ordered pizza with bacon and noted gluten allergy from the Fishkill location. Pizza arrived with NO BACON and when store was contacted, they confirmed that the crust was NOT gluten free. When manager came to the phone, he was immediately defensive, stating “haven’t you ever made a mistake?” and blaming the crust on customer error. Manager stated “people put allergies all the time and don’t mean it”. Manager refusing to fix mistake, stating “I suggest you call Uber Eats yourself and get it fixed with them.” No apology was given, only excuses. Additionally, the fried dough contained a hair baked into it.

Wanted the “New York” style pizza experience without the New York traffic, this place did not disappoint. The pizza is FANTASTIC, the people were nice and quick, and the prices were more than fair. The chicken bacon ranch pizza is delicious, will definitely stop here every time we’re out this way.

Nestled in the heart of East Fishkill, Beast is a delightful barbecue joint that has quickly become a local favorite. Located just a stone's throw away from other culinary gems on Main Street, this eatery offers an inviting atmosphere perfect for meat lovers. The menu features an array of smoked meats and classic barbecue dishes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds.
We stopped here for dinner cause we were craving ribs. We sat outside (bring bug spray) and we were surprised to hear about dollar wings! We ordered beast dry rub wings, plain wings, and beast BBQ sauce and they were all delicious. We ordered a full rack of ribs to share. They were fantastic! The meat fell right off the bone. I highly recommend getting these!

First time visit! Great little place. My server Morgan was attentive and friendly. They have over 300 types of bourbons and a Bourbon Bible which is amazing (went with Macallan). I had the bao buns (no chiles), which were delicious. The vibe was really nice, the place was buzzing but not overly loud or anything, especially for being a smaller space. There are several seats at the bar and a decent amount of tables. I took the pork belly sandwich (no carrots or chiles) and curly fries to go to share with a friend. It was actually really good. I'm not sure what category of food to put this place in because there are Vietnamese dishes, BBQ, burgers, and Spanish food; it's a nice mix. I would recommend trying it out.

We were in new York for pleasure and decided to go out. We found Beast wow!!! Loved the place my wife got the pulled pork sandwich and I got the smoked Peruvian chicken. We both loved our choices. In addition to the great food the Beast restaurant offers a great selection of bourbons. Highly recommend this place.
Donatello D — Google review
Honestly, this was a big disappointment. I’m not sure if they actually reheated my wings and brisket but they were dry as hell. Being from Texas, this was not even close to brisket. There was barely a smoke line. The bark was so-so. The wings… sad. They said that they’re smoked but I didn’t taste anything smoked. They were just so dry. It tasted a bit like they were refried. Maybe my standards are too high? I’m dunno but I wouldn’t spend $40 again on it.

Went apple picking and a worker recommended us to eat there. Was blown away by the food and service. I was expecting bar food, I ordered the half Peruvian chicken and was absolutely impressed. Tender Smokey chicken and the ribs were best I’ve ever had. Will be eating there every time I’m in the area. Service was excellent very friendly

Much enjoyed dining experience started w / cocktails at the bar with a mezcal Negroni, then great dinner 4 different appetizers all very good. The main courses were excellent, a few different pastas, and the salmon. Service was good. We look forward to returning in the near future.

Its been great every time we’ve been here. As always the service and atmosphere lend themselves to a high class environment and the food was great. Octopus was the only dish we weren't a fan of it was overcooked and not too tasty but the beef carpaccio was a hit. I ordered the chicken and it was perfectly cooked, a crispy exterior and the most juicy tender meat underneath. Bread and ricotta to start is awesome and we all enjoyed our meals.
Quinn M — Google review
The food was excellent. I ordered the NY Strip, and the mashed potatoes were incredibly creamy and delicious. The sauce was a bit salty, but it was still good. The steak was cooked just the way I asked. My mum had the fish special, which was also very good. The dessert was delightful as well. Our server, Andres, was very attentive. Thank you for surprising my mum with the birthday dessert—she was so happy. The place itself is really nice. Overall, our experience was fantastic. There is a big parking lot.

Went for my birthday dinner. It was our first time there. Our server, Jefferson, was excellent and made two stellar recommendations. Drinks were large and strong. Our appetizers were the octopus, which was perfectly cooked and seasons, and the mussels with fennel and pancetta and were excellent. We had the special -arctic char and the gnocchi both dishes were top notch as well as the panna cotta. The only thing I did not love was our table upstairs, but next time I’ll be sure to request a different table. Highly recommend and I plan to go back.

During a recent work trip, my colleague and I had the pleasure of dining at Il Figlio Enoteca, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The restaurant's ambiance was both beautiful and inviting, creating a perfect setting for a memorable meal. The dishes were visually stunning and tasted even better than they looked. I had the salmon, which was, without a doubt, the best salmon I've ever had. Each bite was a delightful blend of flavors that left me wanting more. The staff at Il Figlio Enoteca were outstanding. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Their professionalism and warmth added to the overall enjoyment of our visit. I highly recommend Il Figlio Enoteca to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. Whether you're in town for work or leisure, this restaurant is a must-visit.

Excellent Italian entrees and an inspired cocktail menu. I had heard from friends about the food and my expectations were well met, but I didn't expect a similarly high caliber cocktail menu. Mussels were just right, not overcooked, delicate taste. Veal chop cooked medium rare as ordered. I don't think you will go wrong here with food or drink.
Jonathan F — Google review
We had a wonderful experience here. The atmosphere was great, and our server was absolutely on top of her game—professional, attentive, and very transparent throughout the evening. We started with the octopus, which was prepared to perfection. For our entrées, we had the veal special and the salmon, and both were cooked beautifully and full of flavor. The only small miss of the night was dessert. The apple almond pie was tasty, but it felt like it needed a scoop of Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream to really take it to the next level. Overall, a fantastic dining experience and one I would highly recommend!
Joe G — Google review
We were pleasantly surprised with this restaurant which was in a plaza with stores. When you walk in the door, the atmosphere totally is transformed. It was a modern, 2 floor restaurant. The servers were attentive, answered all our questions well, the food was delicious and good portions. The wine we drank was fabulous! The waitress convinced us to share the appetizer special and the dessert special, and we weren't disappointed! We originally weren't planning to have either!! Great restaurant and I would recommend it highly!

Was good at one time but they care more about their other school than this one. If there is a really good routine it will be taken away from the Dutchess kids and given to the Putnam School kids. They done it a few times and my kid cried and thought it was because they were not as good. Oh well she is now happy in another local dance school.

This place literally has some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. It’s rich, creamy, and delicious. Campfire S’mores is my favorite. Fishkill Creamery holds a very special place in my heart. Before my dog Wick died from cancer, we would bring him here constantly for the “Wick Special” which was an extra small scoop of vanilla ice cream with peanut butter sauce (or peanut butter chips) and milk bones on top. The shop owner still has Wick’s photo up in the store and even though I don’t live in New York anymore, my family and I will always stop here during our travels to make sure we can have some ice cream in memory of my baby boy Wick. Thank you for being dog friendly and having such AMAZING ice cream.

I went here tonight with some friends. I honestly didn’t even know it existed until we noticed it after eating at Stephanos Fishkill (which is always a great place to eat by the way). The place has one sign on the outside and if you blink you’ll miss it. But once inside you’ll find a small but very cozy wine bar. The bartender was very nice and offered a couple of samples to help me select a glass. The place has a small bar area with seating and also some very relaxed seating away from the bar. There were about 10 total customers in the place and the bartender (who was alone) never missed a beat. If you’re in the area, and enjoy wine, check it out.
VINCENT W — Google review
This a very nice place where you can sit, talk and sample wines. But this is NOT a restaurant. It's just what the name says it is...a wine bar. They have a good selection of wines but a very limited menu of small plates for nibbling along with your wine. (Beer is also available) The staff is friendly, the service is quick and attentive and the ambiance is cozy and good for groups or couples. There's also outdoor seating and a firepit. Be sure and check the website for the live music schedule. They have an extensive variety of wines to choose from, by the bottle or by the glass. Consider getting a flight of wine for $18. That's 4 half glasses for the price of 2 glasses. A great way to sample a selection of different wines. .

If you’re from out of town do not go here. The bartender took my id and bent it and refused to serve me. Claiming my Florida id is not valid. To bend my id is completely unprofessional. I mind you I am 37 years old. Thank you for not allowing me to waste my money in your establishment.

Our food was great. Also it's not the restaurants fault. Our server was so green. She was so out of her depth and young it was comical. I had to go get my own drinks and the bartender was so nice.. I don't want to say anything bad about them as a business.. My daughter was home from college and we were there within 45 minutes of the close time. They were very accommodating nice and polite. But our waitress was so hopeless I actually felt bad for her. I think she thought we were laughing at her. But we were just having a good time. Despite her attitude. I felt so bad for her I gave her a tip bigger than our bill....which she tried to give back as my change.. "Because I mistakenly gave her the exact cost plus" .... Omg we had so much fun. And we'll be back again.. Hope she smiled when she got home to her mom and dad.. All jokes aside it's was great all around...

Mediterranean restaurant
Nestled in a charming, restored house on Main Street, Sotano is a delightful fine dining destination in Fishkill that captures the essence of Mediterranean cuisine. With an inviting atmosphere, it offers a diverse menu featuring delectable pastas, fresh seafood, and succulent meats. One of its standout features is the exceptional Sunday brunch that draws locals and visitors alike. If you're looking for a culinary experience that combines elegance with flavorful dishes, Sotano is definitely worth exploring during your travels through Fishkill!
Sotano came highly recommended by a colleague who frequents the establishment. So we went in with high expectations and they sure did not disappoint. Ambiance, cleanliness, service and food were all top notch. Had the crab and lobster bisque, butternut squash soup, octopus, braised lamb and scallops. Each dish perfectly delicious. A true gem.

Absolutely exceptional food and service! Rack of lamb and Shell Steak was nearly 99% fat free and super juicy! Very nice owner and one of the best waitresses, Kristen! We absolutely will be returning! Tip- try her Amaretto Sour! Superb! 👌🏽 FAR better than that “Crew Restaurant “!

Service and food were both incredible. We started with Kristen and Natalie came in mid way, and both were amazing! I always appreciate people taking care of me the way I take care of my customers. Food was top notch from apps to dessert. A definite must stop if you are new in Fishkill!

I do not know what to say other than this was an amazing experience!! The food was phenomenal, the staff were attentive and ever so friendly and it looked beautiful! Would definitely recommend and will 100% be back!!!

We randomly chose this from Google and when we got there the aroma in the parking lot just gorgeous. Upon entering we were greeted by this fresh smell ie no overpowering smell of food everywhere. We were promptly seated and the adventure began. The calamari and the lobster bisque was excellent seasoned just right and they serve a bread that's just heavenly. We had the Crispy Skin Duck and Frutti Di Mare which was excellent. The staff Hernan O was attentive, polite and knowledgeable about the offerings.

Sotanos was really good. Calamari app. was good. The Mediterranean Sea Bass entree was delicious. Seafood risotto was okay. Seafood on it was good but the risotto was not well done. That was the only negative. We'd go back. The menu has many interesting looking dishes that sound delicious. The place itself is a very pretty house and the dining areas are lovely!

Fishkill has surprised me again. This gem of a wonderful place right on Main Street is nothing short of amazing. Cozy with friendly staff. The menu was diverse tho most dishes were tomato based. I had the scallops and I must say that it was done right. The crab cake could have been better as there was a lot of filling. The lobster and crab bisque was ok. I chose to say ok because it was tasty however I’m used to chunks of meat in my bisque

I have visited this restaurant twice. That is a positive sign by itself. Sotanos is located on Main Street in Fishkill, NY. The area is easy to get to as it it right off of I 84 and Route 9, a major thoroughfare. There is ample parking in the back of this white, quaint, vintage house turned into an eatery. That's a good thing because at peak hours, there is no Street parking to be found. You will be greated immediately upon arrival and seated in one of the dining areas to the left OR at the small bar to your right. We ordered fried calamari and shrimp 🍤 wrapped in bacon 🥓 as appetizers. A universal truth is that bacon makes everything taste better! Both were tasty and devoured so fast that I forgot to take pretty, unmolested pictures of them. You will notice immediately that the portions here are adequate, so you do not feel robbed, but unless you had gastro surgery, there will not be a lot of take out boxes clogging up your refrigerator You get JUST enough with lots of sauce to trick the 👀 eyes into thinking 🤔 the plates 🍽 are loaded. The main courses ordered were a fillet mignon with scallops and a "crispy" duck that was not crispy at all. Reportedly, the duck was delicious, but the crispy description was on the menu. The steak was a good grade, tender, and prepared to my liking. The scallops were some of the best 👌 that I ever had. As you can see in the picture, you don't get many of them. Gelato as a desert is my recommendation. The service was excellent. I like the non rushed eating experience on well spaced tables on beautiful, 100 year old broad plank floors. The bathroom was clean. I can see a pretty good wait for this room if the place is crowded. If memory serves me, it is a single use bathroom. It's a VERY nice place to go for a delicious meal, perhaps for a special occasion. I would and will absolutely visit again unless I can find a comparable restaurant with slightly larger portions for the price. Sotanos is a wonderful experience although not a great value. Your mileage may vary. Enjoy!

Indian restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant town of Fishkill, Tanjore Cuisine of India stands out as a culinary treasure for lovers of Indian cuisine. The restaurant's highlight is its dynamic lunch buffet, which showcases an impressive variety of traditional dishes that cater to both vegetarians and meat lovers alike. Each plate bursts with authentic flavors, expertly balancing spices and heat to create memorable meals. Guests can enjoy attentive service while indulging in fresh and delicious offerings that keep them coming back for more.
We visited Beacon town for the weekend and decided to try the lunch buffet at Tanjore Cuisine of India — and it did not disappoint! The entire experience was amazing, with a wide variety of appetizers, main courses, and desserts. Among the appetizers, the Chicken 65, Gobi Chilli, and Chicken Hariyali were standout favorites — packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The biryani in the main course was incredibly aromatic and delicious, and the Chicken Tikka was tender, juicy, and full of spices. For dessert, the Gajar ka Halwa was absolutely delightful — warm, rich, and just the right amount of sweet. The ambiance was comfortable, and the owner was extremely kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and craving some authentic Indian flavors!

Finally! Found a true Indian cuisine taste in the area. Wow! They did not disappoint. The best part it was out of chance and Google 😆. My entry point is always Dal and some Roti. Took it mild as to be able to appreciate the flavors. It took me to a place that I had only reached back in Taste of India (Astoria, NY) and some other place in Miami I can’t recall. It felt natural, made in house, fresh and made by someone that care to preserve and show us what good Indian food feels like. Thank you! The atmosphere is calm, clean and clear. Well organized and distributed. Neat and quickly rearranged, you feel you are the first one going in. The service was also up to expectations. Very attentive and diligent. Cyril and another young gentleman took good care of me, even when my order was perhaps simple or not big. I felt welcomed.

First time here. The food was FANTASTIC, wait staff super friendly and tentative. Will be back very soon!

I usually enjoy this restaurant but was extremely disappointed in the quality of taste. I ordered 2 lamb vindaloos and asked for extra spice in both. My request was disregarded in the lack of flavor and spice. I had more potatoes than lamb. The sauce was under seasoned and tasted like bland tomato sauce. I called to let them know the flavor wasn’t up to part and even though they offered to remake it. I got a call back stating “the chef said he made it spicy already”…..food was not worth what I payed. I will not be ordering or going back. I encourage and recommend Gymkhana cuisine of India!!!!!!!!!!
Caprice M — Google review
Worth the trip but be prepared. The pros: great tasting food for the price. Food is definitely cooked with a good hand. Fish curry was really delicious. The cons: typical Indian politics. The waiter forgets all about the people at the table and you have to hunt him down to get a water refill or extra napkins or the bill. We are not in India, time to get it together and level up on the wait staff service. Improve the customer service and you will get increased business. Lunch was a 45 minute wait for the food to appear of which I saw the waiter once in 45 minutes. I’d think twice about going again.
Anil S — Google review
The food is consistently delicious. My personal favorite is going for the lunch buffet. The menu is random but always offers a good assortment of gluten free, vegetarian, lamb or fish options. Staff is always friendly and helpful.
Philip R — Google review
I love Indian Food but have gluten allergy (Celiac Disease) so I was very pleased when I found out this Restautant have clearly marked gluten free options on their menu. The food is awesome. I personally love anything with potatoes and always get Masala Dosa as an appetizer, and my favorite is Chicken Chennai which I've had many times. I always enjoy eating there! They also have a lunch buffet. There may not have many options, but they do mark things clearly for allergies. I always find a few things to eat. I wish they would have more GF/DF options for the lunch menu, but otherwise I enjoy going to this place.

My first time here. I decided to grab a quick to go order. I was looking for my favorite appetizer Samosa chat. Really nice decor and plenty of seating and friendly staff. I will be back to try their buffet and other dishes. since I need to expand my Indian preferences!

Nestled in the heart of Fishkill, Stephano's on Main is a culinary gem that beckons food lovers with its authentic Italian cuisine and warm hospitality. This charming eatery has garnered a loyal following among locals, often filling up quickly as early as 5 PM. Diners rave about the attentive service and generous portion sizes that make every meal memorable.
Came here for the first time for a reunion with former coworkers for lunch. First I have to say our waiter and I am sorry I forgot his name was amazing, so professional and polite. Second the food portion was huge it felt like I was given 2 lbs of pasta! And third the wine was such an amazing pour. And last but not least the prices are very reasonable.

Had an incredible meal at Stephano’s in Fishkill, NY—definitely a local gem worth checking out! We kicked things off with the Hot Antipasto for Two—clams, mussels, stuffed mushrooms, eggplant rollatini…the perfect start. For dinner, I went with the shrimp scampi and also tried the spaghetti & meatballs. Everything was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor, and the portions were more than generous. The best part? The prices were just as impressive as the food. And yes—that last picture is what I brought home. Couldn’t leave without taking the deliciousness with me! #Stephanos #FishkillEats #SupportLocal #ItalianFoodDoneRight ⸻ Want me to tailor it for Instagram too, or keep it Facebook-only? Ken the manager introduced himself and immediately sat us, he was very attentive and took very good care of us. The food was outstanding! Lasagna was perfect and enough for two meals. My wife had veal and eggplant parm that she said was the best she has had. Our guests also loved their meals. Fresh authentic Italian! We will be back the next time we visit Fishkill.

Nice place great for families the dressing on the salads is worth it. Sounds funny but it was that good. It’s good Italian food. The antipastos are prob better than the mains but still really good o

The food and wine are excellent and abundant at very reasonable prices. What knocks off some serious stars is the atmosphere. This is not the kind of place to go if you want to have a nice quiet dinner with someone. This is the site of the old Friendly's on Main Street in Fishkill and the atmosphere is, sadly, about the same. Very loud and very plain. There are no booths, only tables with wood floors that amplify the noise even worse. The decor inside is nothing special. If they spiffed up this place this would be a solid 5 star. No one at my table was too adventurous with their ordering, Chicken Francese and Eggplant Parmesan. Both dishes were excellent. All entrees come with pasta and a salad. The wine was $8/glass as of 4/14/23 for about 9 oz of wine. You can also order a bottle for the table picking from a much more abundant selection of options. The bread served beforehand was good though nothing special or unique but certainly decent. Their house dressing is delicious. The pasta and sauce is excellent. They truly know how to cook pasta al dente. Dessert was also very good. Service was a little on the slow side although they were very busy. Personally I'd rather have service that is a little slow than feeling rushed. My big problem with this restaurant is the atmosphere. This truly could be a fine dining experience with a serious makeover that also addressed the noise level.

Visiting the area for work, stopped here to eat after shift. It was amazing! Homemade dinner rolls, drinks were awesome and the main dish was great. Large portions so be prepared to take some home! And the dessert was great to finish an amazing experience. Would definitely eat here again if I'm in the area.

You never can go wrong coming to Stephanos on Main when you are looking for generous portions with amazing, flavorful food. Bring your friends and family, the bigger the group the better. Share the mussels with the table. I dare you to finish the Zuppa Di Pesce!

Popular Italian restaurant with huge portions of delicious food. Entrees served with a salad that is not that memorable but the salad dressing is good and the bread, served without having to request it, is delicious. My entree would easily have been 3-4 meals for me - it was gigantic (I am a small eater but still!)

This was an excellent experience as I needed a massage after all of the driving and family responsibilities over the past couple of days. I had a full body massage and it was wonderful. I tried this establishment via Groupon and I will definitely be back as I was relaxed and the massager knocked those knots out. Definitely do not judge a book by its cover…the staff is extremely professional and does an incredible job in massage therapy. I have been here several times, seen different staff members and each experience was amazing. Calling the Spa number is better as the staff doesn’t speak English so well, so speaking over the phone is best to answer any questions/ booking information. I have been to places all over from here to high-end spa services and I have to say the staff here is hands down the most thorough and does a consistent, incredible job at alleviating any pain. The cost is also very affordable and in my opinion worth so much more than higher-end spa locations for massages. I highly recommend TAO!

The massage therapists in this shop are all very skilled. Every time I come, I get a different therapist, but each one has excellent technique. Their treatments have been especially effective for my sciatica and lower back pain. I’ll definitely keep coming back.

I recently sprained my ankle while hiking, and my legs were feeling really sore. I searched on Google and found this spa—heard their prices were very reasonable, so I decided to give it a try. The massage turned out to be really good! After the session, my legs and feet felt light and relaxed for a whole week. Highly recommended!
Jennifer V — Google review
We came in for a couples foot massage hoping to relax. What we got instead was 45 minutes of being lightly petted on the feet while the two masseuses carried on their own conversation, frequently pausing their “work” to keep chatting as if we weren’t even there. The “pressure” was so light it could barely be classified as touch—more like a feather test to see if we were still alive. After 45 minutes of this, they ended the “massage” (mercifully shorter than the hour we paid for). At no point did an actual massage occur. If you’re looking for hands grazing your toes while you eavesdrop on a private conversation, this is the spot. If you’re looking for a massage, try anywhere else.
Will F — Google review
Overall a very Great spot, but when I went last time it was extremely cold and uncomfortable. The massage was great but I could not enjoy it one bit because I was freezing. They should leave the AC around the treatment rooms. I hope they will credit the last session but I doubt it. It was just an unfortunate time; muscles, body and room temperature should be warm or to a relax temperature. My hands and feet were very cold and you can hear the AC at high. I hope they just didn’t realize it and change it for next time. I’m a regular and hope to be back but I pay good to be relaxed and not cold leaving the same way I came in.

Reformed church
First Reformed Church Fishkill is located in a town that flourished in the 19th century due to the establishment of mills along Fishkill Creek. Although the mills are no longer present, the town remains vibrant with a thriving shopping area and a quaint historic district. The church's mission is to spread the teachings of Jesus Christ among worshippers and it also runs a Sunday School. Additionally, it actively participates in community service through initiatives like the Fishkill Food Pantry and children's services.
I haven't been to Church in a very long while. I have trauma disorders that make it extremely difficult to socialize. But I met a wonderful loving couple that not only attend but work for the church. I also have a fragmented memory disorder so I don't remember thier names or what exactly they do. For the first time in 5 years, I didn't hesitate to take them up on an invitation to attend. What an amazing sermon, pastor and family of people. I left with a great message, hope and a much needed lifted spirit. Thank you First Reformed Church. PS....the optional coffee and snack gathering following, as warm as everyone was helped overcome adversity in extreme social anxiety even for a while. 💘

I am a total beginner along with my girlfriend and this course was very accommodating and fun to play. We errored in our path even with good directions and staff kindly redirected us. Weather was great and the course was beautiful and definitely challenged us. Liked the range and practice areas for warmup, will definitely be returning.

If you are looking for a easy place to play ⛳️ of a sunny weekend day, this place fits the bill. If you are scratch golfer, this place won't be too much of a challenge. The golfers in the pro shop were nice. The only drawback here is they only accept cash. Bummer. There is an ATM in the pro shop, but I am sure the fees are high.

If you're looking for a family friendly golf course stay far away from here. I wouldn't spend a single dime to golf at this golf course after the absolute disregard this course had for allowing us to take our son golfing with us. We are well aware of any risk that could occur while golfing and we were more than willing to accept that risk on behalf of our child as there is a larger risk dirving in a car with him everyday then there is on a golf course. would not recommend to anyone.

25$ to walk 12 is hard to beat, course is almost entirely flat with most holes being a straight shot making them deceptively simple yet challenging nonetheless. Great course for a relaxed round for golfers of any skill. Staff are cordial and keep the place in good shape.

Yeah it’s only $25 for 12 holes with a few par fours mixed in, but the range balls are comically overpriced, the greens are glacial, and the place only takes cash… Seriously, a cash-only golf course. Also, I know it’s built on wetlands, but it’s easily the buggiest course I’ve ever been to as well. You will probably feel like you’re getting eaten alive by flies and mosquitoes if you come here when it’s even seventy-something outside.

Nestled in a vibrant community, Our Savior Lutheran Church is a cherished place of worship that has touched the lives of many. Families have celebrated significant milestones here, from baptisms to weddings, creating lasting memories within its welcoming walls. The church offers an engaging Sunday School program for children and hosts a lively contemporary worship service led by an incredibly talented praise band. With both contemporary and traditional services available, there's something for everyone—parents often find themselves joyfully dancing with their little ones during worship!
Our Savior Lutheran Church, and it's community, has been such a blessing in our lives. My family has experienced a Baptism, we attend weekly Sunday School (which I promise you... you will never find a better Sunday School for your littles), and we are getting married here in June! The Praise Band is AMAZING! The Missouri Synod affiliation and the Contemporary Worship service is what brought us here to try the service... after a year of consistent attendance, we became Members and have no intention of ever leaving.

I have been a member at OCLS for many years. The congregation is warm and welcoming. There are many young families, lots of little ones. There is a 9:45 service with a very talented worship band. Great service for little ones. It isn't uncommon to see parents dancing in the back with their children praising the Lord! There are also traditional services which are more formal, equally warm and inviting. Great place to worship!

Doug Phillips Park

Park
Doug Phillips Park is a delightful destination that offers a variety of amenities for both pets and families. This spacious park features a dedicated dog area where furry friends can frolic, although it may sometimes feel quiet with fewer dogs around. For their human companions, there's a shaded pavilion to relax in while enjoying the company of fellow dog owners. In addition to the dog park, Doug Phillips Park has undergone some impressive renovations, transforming previously neglected tennis and basketball courts into vibrant spaces for recreation.
We've been coming to this park now for a few months and so far have good things to say. The park is very large and there's a covered area for owners to sit in some shade. The dog owners we've met have been very cool and the dogs are, for the most part, friendly and healthy. There's fresh water available during the warmer months.

I went there to kayak. Launch area really muddy. Would be nice if they could build a little dock to make it easier getting in & out of kayak. Creek was beautiful & water level was high. We went about a mile upstream until we hit a downed tree that we couldn't maneuver around. So peaceful. Need to paddle it in the Spring when water levels are high as it does get shallow in spots. Really enjoyed.
JoAnn N — Google review
I’ve only been to this dog park a handful of times so far since I’ve gotten the permit for it, and I love it! There’s never many dogs there whenever I go, which sometimes is nice but other times is boring for my little guy. The only reason for 4 stars is because you have to pay an annual fee to use this dog park, which is fine, however there’s nothing there. Only a couple benches, no tunnels or obstacles for the dogs to jump or play on, no trees - it just seems that since you are paying to use it, there should be more amenities for the pups. Someone I met there told me they have water fountains that shoot water out of the ground for during the summer so the dogs can run through it, but the park didn’t even turn them on last year. Overall, a very clean dog park and my dog has fun there!

Fantastic Park to bring younger children to there’s a gated playground area, which is perfect for two-year-olds running rampant and having a ball ! There’s swings, slides rides, and a couple other cool things that I’ve never seen at a playground, like a gigantic xylophone; no joke

Puerto Rican restaurant
Izla of Fishkill is a delightful spot for those craving authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. Diners rave about the delicious flavors and generous portion sizes, making it easy to share or enjoy a hearty meal solo. The vibrant decor adds to the inviting atmosphere, while the staff's friendliness enhances the overall experience. Although some diners noted that food was served lukewarm in styrofoam containers, many appreciated the tasty offerings and are eager to return for more culinary delights.
Izla of Fishkill is amazing. The food was delicious and ample portions. The cashier and store manager were so courteous and personable. Restaurant atmosphere was bright and colorful. Restroom was immaculate. Can't wait to go back and try more. Highly recommended!

Order, pay and food is brought to you. Polite, decent portions &prices. Two entrances, rest rooms. Music. Comfy, not a large place. Food was tasty
Lourdes R — Google review
The food was delicious with excellent flavors. However, the food was lukewarm and served in styrofoam containers with plastic forks. This is not appropriate for a sit in meal. It’s very uncomfortable to eat out of a container with a lid that’s attached and in the way. Please invest in a dishwasher and use appropriate dishware. The cashiers need to be a bit friendlier as well. I want you to succeed because the food is really good.

We ordered an avocado salad that was delivered with rotten brown avocado and some mushed on top . I would not have ever sent that out if I was an owner to my customer . Truly disgusting .
Debbie G — Google review
I feel awful writing this because I truly cherished this place. For years, I’ve gone at least once a week, spending a lot of money here and introducing my family and friends to the food. While there were occasional misses in the past (raw plantains, beans without beans—just juice), I never complained. For the last two years, they seemed to be doing better. But on August 20th, I picked up one of my usual orders after driving 20 minutes. When I opened my food at home, I was shocked—my sirloin was raw (I never requested rare or medium-rare, and that isn’t even an option with these steaks), and my Ropa Vieja was so undercooked that the minute I split the meat, blood seemed to be oozing. This meal was inedible. We ended up eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches instead of the Puerto Rican comfort food I always look forward to after long workdays. For evidentiary support, I have included photos of this plate. I immediately called and spoke to Chancy, who was polite and apologetic. She assured me that if I called the following week, I would be given my food at no charge. I appreciated her tone and was willing to let it go. However, the next week when I called back, everything changed. Suddenly, I was told the “red” I saw was just sauce from the Ropa Vieja. I was placed on hold multiple times, faced pushback, and was eventually told I could only get the meats replaced—but would have to pay for the rice and beans. By then, I had already ordered elsewhere, frustrated with the lack of accountability and respect. This was the breaking point. I am not just a random customer. I’ve supported this place consistently, even tipping cash since they removed the tip option at the register. I’ve overlooked spoiled shrimp, inconsistent portion sizes, and missing items—but this time I was dismissed instead of valued. This experience has made me truly reconsider whether I will ever return, and that is sad for me to say as someone who is Puerto Rican and loves supporting my people and our food. I hope the owner reads this and recognizes that losing a loyal customer isn’t just losing me—it’s losing my family and friends, all of whom I’ve brought here over the years. But if this is how loyal customers are treated when they’re served raw, inedible food, then maybe it’s time for us to take our business elsewhere.

I went here today for a quick little lunch of something tasty. I’ve been here a few times before and the food is always great. I got the pernil , rice and beans and sweet plantains with a beef empanada to share with a friend. Food was 🔥 as always. Try the hot sauce and the mojito sauce. Very tasty stuff. The staff were very friendly and accommodating; offering us to try different things and asking if we had questions about the menu. Overall great place to eat!!
Damian L — Google review
Delicious food with great portion sizes. My husband had enough for both of us with one order of rice and beans, maduros and steak. The food tasted fantastic! The only reason it’s a 4 instead of 5 star review is because the maduros were hard. I’m sure it will be different next time for sure. Also this place has a nice decor with friendly staff. Great place to get authentic Puerto Rican food!
Tamika H — Google review
The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. The pernil was so tender, maduros were caramelized beautifully, and the arroz con gandules was moist and tasty. It reminded me of my spot back home in Brooklyn. Thank you Izla, keep up the good work!

Fast food restaurant
If you're on the hunt for a classic fast-food experience, look no further than McDonald's. This iconic chain is renowned for its delicious burgers and crispy fries, but one particular location stands out with its unique service approach. Here, staff members take on a more personalized role, greeting customers at their tables just like traditional waiters. They ensure you have everything you need—whether it's straws or napkins—making your dining experience feel special.
Everything was good when we got our meal. The people who helped us were very friendly. We were able to go in and out in a relatively quick time. It was an enjoyable visit.

Staff here are incredibly rude. I asked how app park and picked up worked. Young man walked away from me. I said excuse me he returned pointed to my order? I know that is order I'm asking how to pick up from app parking space for when I return next time. No reply? Another employee there young woman just stands there looking confused and apparently doesn't understand English? My coffee wasn't hot and I drink it black. I never write bad reviews but this was necessary. I love McDonald's coffee and stop wherever I'm traveling.

This experience was absolutely horrendous!!! I felt taken advantage of… it took us 45 minutes to get our food!!! Customers coming in and out but not us. Diabolical. Thought I was trapped here. I know it’s spooky season, but I didn’t realize this was a haunted house. It took FOREVER. and no one even cared…. Do they know who I am? What I’m capable of??? The days of hard work I just spent sitting here chained up. I might as well go to Arby’s at this point. And I am not leaving. Did I mention fries were four dollars?? I worked for this 16 bucks. That’s 16 bucks and 60 minutes I’ll never get back. Wrote this while still waiting BTW.

Horrendous. I always question myself when I find myself ordering food from McDonalds, and this is one of those times where I was correct. It took several minutes to get a response at the drive thru, and when I finally did, the total appeared wrong on the screen. I questioned the total and was told to pull through to the window with no explanation. The person at the window was polite, but after I paid and pulled up to the next window, there was a teenage kid with a black hoodie sagging his pants who clearly did not work there who asked me, “whatchu order?”. After I told him, and eventually received part of my order, he told me, “you good”. When I looked in the bag and found that I was missing the fries I ordered I reversed to the window, and the woman who came to the window proceeded to argue with me and told me I didn’t order fries. I told her to check the order, as I did, in fact, order fries. After a minute or so she returned and told me to pull up and wait and informed me that the fries were cooking. After about 5 minutes she came out with maybe a half order of small fries, presumably in spite of me. Absolute trash.
W B — Google review
Every time we come to drive through they make us park and wait 10 minutes before we get the food. Easier just going inside to order. Grossy mismanaged
Chistopher P — Google review
Not all commercial food chains are the same. This McDonald's restaurant is extremely clean, accessibility, plenty of free parking. Friendly and professional staff, which I may add NOT all are kind and professional. I always get sweet tea and the staff at the register requested I should try it with lemonade. I asked her I never had it, and she commented it was delicious.
Zafiro A — Google review
This is the first McDonald’s I went that they staff walked by my table and ask about the food and anything I want, just like a waiter who usually did greeting customers. A young gentleman greeted all the customers on every table, and bring stuff that they need, such as straws and napkins. This McDonald’s doesn’t have the soda station that you filled your soda and refill. Also, no condiments station for ketchup, sugar, and napkins. It may be the reason a staff walking around to help customers’ need. Not to mention, they clean the table once the customer just left. Hopefully they keep doing this, not just the time I went.
DaDa — Google review
I went thru the drive thru and ordered med fries, quarter pd w/cheese and a 6 pc..they then send to a number that id not available and when I get my food, the fries look over cooked and NOT FRESH..went inside and i got overcooked fries again and super salty..you would think that at 11:30 every thing would be fresh

Pizza restaurant
Pizza Phil of Fishkill is a delightful spot that has become a favorite for many locals over the years. Known for its delicious pizza, generous toppings, and flavorful pasta dishes, this eatery also offers fresh salads that are sure to impress. Their delivery service stands out as one of the fastest in the area, making it a convenient choice for those cozy nights in. Customers appreciate their willingness to accommodate special requests like crafting the thinnest crust possible.
9/5/2025, 11AM First time here. Great pizza, good flavor, and good service. Parking is plentiful.

The food was tasty but was distracted by a fist fight between 2 employees cursing and pushing each other around.

Classic New York pizzeria. Chalk written menu, pizza by the slice, small dining rooms with booths and tables. Friendly service. First time here, came in for a drink, the Pizza looks fantastic so I had to order.

Garlic Knots were just pizza dough with parmesan on them. No garlic. Meat Lover's Pizza was covered in (meat?) but had no taste. Water has more taste than that pizza. I don't know how they claim to be an Italian place when they make meatballs with no flavor. Biggest disappointment I've ever had with pizza.
Jon W — Google review
Delicious pizza! A generous amount of toppings, great flavor! The house salad was a great mix of greens! Very impressed and will be back!
Kaity H — Google review
I’ve eaten at Pizza Phil’s and used them for delivery several times over the years. The pizza, pasta dishes and salads are pretty good and their delivery is one of the fastest in the area. The prices are comparable to these of other restaurants nearby. Also whenever I ask for the thinnest crust pizza they can make they try and get it pretty good! I’ll keep on using their services!
Jim L — Google review
Good local pizza counter with delivery. They really make an effort to fix any problem that may arise. That's the mark of good service.

Sandwich shop
Subway is a delightful casual dining chain where you can customize your own sandwiches and salads, catering to those who prioritize health-conscious choices. My recent visit to one of their locations was truly enjoyable! The staff were friendly and generous with toppings, which is often a hit-or-miss at other places. I had the pleasure of chatting with the server while he expertly crafted my sub, making for an engaging experience.
Writing this review about a staff member. Joe accommodated all my needs and was very kind (8/16/24 10:30 AM). Great person and very hard working. Him and the young lady who works late nights are fantastic.
Joseph G — Google review
Subway is one of my fav food chains. The Fishkill location is usually good. My visit yesterday was not. The two people behind the counter were overwhelmed with mobile orders so could not help whoever walked in to place their orders at the counter (me and a few others). Each mobile ordered was incorrect so their attention went into remaking those orders as each person came in to pick up and complained their order wasn’t right. Seems to be since there were two workers , one of them one could have been doing mobile orders and one could have been helping the walk in customers (again, me and others behind me). So after waiting 15 minutes to be waited on with no apology or thank you for waiting, the sandwiches that were made for me in a complete hurry with seemingly no neatness standards were terrible. First off the lettuce and spinach on display were old and brown and wilted. Most of the toppings looked questionable. The sandwiches were very sloppily put together with ingredients spilling out so much I dreaded getting them home and dealing with the sloppy messes when having them for dinner. I considered saying I didn’t want the order after it was inadequately made before she rang it up, but I didn’t and $25 later for 2 sandwiches left very very unsatisfied. PS I was totally right and when we opened the sandwiches for dinner they were a mess and we had to put each on a plate and eat them with a fork and knife.
Shari M — Google review
This Subway was very meager with the meats. Apparently they did not accept coupons either. Unsurprisingly, looks like they are out of business.
John N — Google review
I've been to this location only twice, but both times, the sandwiches were STUFFED. I feel like other subways can be stingey. This one is not.
Angela B — Google review
This has to be the worst Subway I've ever been to. I have tried it twice at 2 different days and times, both slow dining times and when I tried to order my sandwich, they were out of the bread (Italian) didn't have the meat I wanted, and the girls behind the counter couldn't have cared less. They just wanted to get back on their cell phones.
Marsha P — Google review
good service, nice staff food was yummy however there getting rid of reg shredded mozzarella! and it costs extra for fresh mozzarella. No worries, just sad. Hopefully, it's not just everyone
Dario S — Google review
First time coming to this particular location and I absolutely loved it!! The guy who was serving us was super sweet and wasn't skimpy with the toppings (which has happened at a lot of the locations I've gone to). He's also great at multitasking XD While he was making my sub were were chatting away. Absolutely great experience at this particular location! I hope it stays this great in the future, because I'll definitely be coming back!
Kayla K — Google review
Every time I had gone here they never had the bread that I wanted with my sandwich. Then recently I ordered a sandwich and when I was about to check out they claimed their coupon scanner doesn’t work and tried to make me pay full price for the sandwiches when i had a valid coupon of two foot-longs for $12.99. I argued the point that I have a valid coupon and he should be able to make the adjustment on the register. He told me he could give me a 10% discount but I refused, once again stating I have a valid coupon. He then said “let me see what I can do” and punched a couple buttons on the register and then told me to scan my coupon. I thought to myself, HE JUST TOLD ME THE COUPON SCANNER DIDN’T WORK AND NOW IT MIRACULOUSLY IS WORKING. If you ask me it’s just a way for them to DECEIVE the customer and make them pay full price for the sandwich or get a measly 10% discount. Subway Headquarters should look into this. This is a bad reflection on all subway franchise owners.
