Beautiful place! Can you imagine so much water in Oklahoma in August! Great place to relax and the Rangers are super knowledgeable. Gift shop is cute just wish it was bigger.

This is a great spot to stretch your legs and enjoy a short hike during a road trip. The park rangers were very friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the short trail next to the natural visitor center, which leads to a pond. It was lovely to experience nature, and we even spotted a few different types of dragonflies. Overall, it's a very pleasant place to visit and appreciate the outdoors. Plenty of parking the day we visited.

This National Recreation Area is gorgeous, even while recovering from a tornado. The trails are not difficult and the streams and views are amazing!

Great place to visit and enjoy the day with family and friends. Plenty of spots to get into the water. Little Niagara is a Hotspot and might be crowded during holidays. Many trails to explore.
Wagid M — Google review
Great job maintaining these trails. It has been 7 years since I hiked them and it looks just as good as it did before with no obstructions or degradation in the forest from all the people. This place is always overpacked on the weekends. But it is a true gem in Oklahoma with crystal clear waters. Beware it stays cold, but is swimmable. Not all guests are nice, there are a lot of people that seem to be there to party or cause problems, I've never seen a nature area so packed. They have rangers guiding people how to park since people can't figure it on their own I guess, that's awkward. The trails are extremely easy, unless you take the long loop around the whole area. No tough spots if you are in any type of shape. There is also a couple nearby lakes if you are having problems finding camping. The camp spots are tiny.
Tyler S — Google review
I can't wait to return! Camped in Loop C, enjoyed the nice big pad and view. I want to primitive camp in Loop A. Travertine Nature Center was a lovely walk with springs and interesting CCC works. We need to come back and explore what they offer inside. Enjoyed the bison, kayaking on the lake, and found good food in Sulphur! Enjoyed prairie horseback trails with wonderful vistas near Rock Creek. Bromide Hill has an impressive lookout. Chickasaw Cultural Center is a must visit as well as visiting all the mineral springs.

The Chickasaw Cultural Center, located in Sulphur, Oklahoma, offers a fascinating exploration of Chickasaw culture and heritage. The center features exhibits, galleries, and outdoor recreations of a village that provide an immersive experience of traditional life. Visitors can witness daily performances and learn about the history through real artifacts and interactive displays.
Me and the family visited the Chickasaw Cultural Center on a recent trip as we want our kids to learn all the history not just one side or what was said out of one book. This center was great! The staff was all friendly especially dealing with our crazy kids they taught our kids how to play stickball and even played with them! We also learned about the stomp dances among many other things. The food area we had was amazing I cannot recommend the Venison stew highly enough! It was amazingly tasty and tender. Ive eaten a-lot of venison in my life and this has to be the best I’ve had! I also had the buffalo burger which tasted great aswell! The entire center was beautiful and educational I highly suggest you stop and learn the history!
Torey D — Google review
The cultural center offers scenic views of southern Oklahoma and provides a worthy tribute to the rich history of the Chickasaw Nation. The center includes an impressive replica of a traditional Chickasaw village. We thoroughly enjoyed the traditional stomp dance performance, which is scheduled throughout the day. There are multiple employees throughout the museum and exhibits that offer helpful insights during the visit. It’s also near the Chickasaw National Recreation Area and the Artesian. Great for families and adults. Everything is free except the museum.

What a beautiful space, inside and out. I thoroughly enjoyed walking through the grounds, village, spiral garden, over the bridge, and through the various buildings. What a wonderful place to celebrate Chickasaw culture!
Ryan T — Google review
I was extremely impressed by the cultural center. We stumbled upon the cultural when looking for lunch on a road trip thanks to the attached cafe. The man warmly welcoming us at the gate was wonderful, the food at the cafe was a delight, and the grounds were relaxing and educational in equal measure. We intended to just get lunch and go, but we stayed around, exploring the grounds and learning of the Chickasaw people for 3 more hours. My opinion of this place cannot be overstated, I have paid good money for admission to much, much worse parks, and this one is absolutely free!
Joseph C — Google review
This is a beautiful center. We went for the Toompalli festival, and they had many activities for the children. It was very sobering to go through the exhibit. It is one thing to read about what the government put the Native Americans through, quite another to read letters from the children and then see one of the barber chairs where they sat while hair was cut off. I can only compare it to my walk through the Holocaust museum. There are no words to describe the profound effect it had on me, How could this happen? Therefore, I was delighted to see the young people dance. New generations to carry on the traditions of their people. To have pride in who they are. Everyone there was very kind and I would love to go there again. The weather was turning,so we were not able to go through the village, or the butterfly garden The terrain could be taxing for some, so they have trams that will pick you up in the parking area, and take you to your desired destination. Beautiful theatre, great cafe. A must see if you are in the area.
Brenda R — Google review
I absolutely love the Chickasaw culture center! My tour guide (I believe her name was lilly) was amazing! She was so very knowledgeable and fun to be around and made you feel welcomed and like you were at home. To the kitchen staff thank you for the amazing food today! It was delicious and made my tummy warm and full.

A world class facility where you can learn everything about the Chickasaw history, culture, language, art, dance, religion, etc. The architecture and grounds are beautiful. The bronze statues are impressive. This is definitely a place worth visiting.

Bodies of Water
Veterans Lake, located in the Chickasaw National Recreation Area, is a serene body of water dedicated to honoring American war veterans. The lake offers various outdoor activities and stunning natural scenery. Visitors can enjoy a paved concrete trail that encircles the lake, providing opportunities for walking and biking. Additionally, there are amenities such as fishing piers, boat ramps for non-gasoline engines, and picnic spots available for reservation.
Have been there twice. A great place to hang out, enjoy the wind and have a summer picnic. People do kayaking here. The surrounding is absolutely gorgeous. It has a picnic spot you can book for special occasions. Beware of summer heat though.

This is a nice little lake. Great place to bring a kayak or something along those lines. There is a good fishing pier, but we didn't have any luck when we were out there so I'm not sure how the fishing is. The lake has a sidewalk all the way around that is very good for walking.

Beautiful lake. We went on a beautiful day - it was sunny and windy. There is a picnic pavilion you can reserve beforehand for events etc. Swimming isn't allowed at this location but nice place to chill, relax and BBQ.
Tanmayee P — Google review
Theres plenty of parking, not very crowded and a paved walking path that goes around the lake. Dogs allowed on leash.

Visited on 10/16/2021, beautiful small lake and paved concrete trail. I'm not sure how long this trail is but looked like a pretty good distance maybe 3 miles or so (just guessing). Trail goes all the way around the lake with tons of bathrooms and nice park benches. I saw people fishing and saw a small boat ramp for probably non gasoline engines. All and all a super nice place to get away and exercise.

Nice walking path and benches available. Bathrooms were decent. No swimming allowed

They have great designs and products, but I could never afford to actually buy something.
Ashley G — Google review
This store is awesome but everything is about 25% too expensive. It's safe to say that I would have spent a lot more than I did if things were a little more affordable. However, I can't complain about the products themselves, so many cute and unique outdoor themed items. This shop had our favorite stuff, too bad we couldn't afford any of it. The couple we were with wanted to buy several things but ended up leaving with nothing due to the high prices.

Carl's Jr. is a fast-food haven celebrated for its towering burgers and enticing meal combos, complemented by delicious shakes. While the ambiance may show signs of age with some tables out of commission, the cleanliness and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere. Diners have noted that while the burger patties could be hotter, the fries are consistently fresh and satisfying. Many patrons express their surprise at Carl's Jr.
I’m not sure why Carl’s Junior isn’t busier than McDonald’s, Braum’s and Sonic! Their hamburgers are so good and the chicken tenders are awesome! They always look clean from the pick up window and service is always good! McDonald’s and Braum’s customer service is horrible. They can’t smile, they don’t know what “thank you” is, and Braum’s is always messy! Love Carl’s Jr!

I was pretty disappointed when I seen what I got. I asked for no lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and peppers. And they gave me all of it. With a dash of shredded cheese. Not even melted. They had just threw it on there. Now it’s supposed to be a loaded fry. At this point I could’ve just ordered a large fry. 10/10 DO NOT recommend these. But there burgers are fantastic!!!!!
Ariel H — Google review
The place is really clean, even though it’s a little old and has some broken tables they have roped off. The staff were super nice and the food was good but the burger patties were just not quite “hot off the grill” hot if that makes sense. But the fries were fresh and hot and they atmosphere was nice and so I think it is worth trying again sometime. They even had a sleigh outside when we went in December. 😃 🎅🏻🤶🏻

Drive through took about 15 minutes, was fresh and good but i ordered a 5 piece chicken tender and this one tinder was 1/4 the size of the others.
Brandi T — Google review
Clean, friendly and helpful cashier, food average. Sausage biscuit wasn't very fresh, buttered biscuit better. Biscuits & gravy pretty good, not peppered too much.
Paul G — Google review
Our bread was stale and the chicken was over battered. Was a big disappointment, especially for the price
Aaron C — Google review
Bathroom trashed up and disorderly and no napkins anywhere but on the floor when going complain about my burger being wrong to to find out I can replace another but while waiting I still got the second order wrong too what the heck ... they can't get ketchup right even after the 2nd attempt? Dang. I was disappointed and even for the pricing of the whole order and the wait around time. Ridiculous

Native American restaurant
Aaimpa Café offers a delightful dining experience with generous portions of delicious food at affordable prices. The friendly staff and clean, cool ambiance add to the overall satisfaction. Visitors can also enjoy the scenic sky bridge and participate in cultural activities like stomp dance. The café's Indian Bread is highly recommended, and they have an impressive Spiral Garden providing fresh ingredients for their dishes. Guests can stay refreshed with cold water provided along the village walk.
We were passing through the town and we stumbled upon the Chickasaw Cultural Center. We were greeted at the gate and told about all of the events currently going on. We were originally just there for the cafe, but we stayed and learned a lot! The Indian tacos were absolutely delicious, mostly owing to the wonderful fry bread. I am going to try to make the fry bread myself because it was so good. The buffalo burger I got was pretty good, not very different from a beef burger. The venison stew was really good, especially when dipping fry bread in it. If I'm ever traveling through the area again, I'll probably stop by.
Joseph C — Google review
A typical museum snack bar. The food was good and prepared to order. It's a large cafeteria style place as is pretty normal. And it's very convenient while visiting the Cultural Center because the facility is large and worth spending at least a day. Prices are similar to most fast food places.
Ken B — Google review
This was my second time with my church family. OMG! The Indian Bread is to die for--it's delicious! There's an edible Spiral Garden where all or a portion of the kitchen's food comes from. I've uploaded 48 pictures I took of the garden. If you get hot, while walking around looking at everything, stop by the water containers provided at each intersection of your walk--the water is cold and free!
Sha' C — Google review
This place is definitely worth a visit for lunch. The café atmosphere is bright and comfortable and the food is very reasonably priced, especially for the portions. Our family got the Chickasaw special, an elk burger, and 2 kids' meals and couldn't finish it all. Everything was fresh and well-prepared.
Alyssa P — Google review
So as we were walking in we talked to a host about things going on and what was good at the Cafe (almost lunch time). He was very courteous, talking to my nephews and explaining things not to miss. When we did have lunch the staff explained the different plates and things that would be good to share. All in all the whole Cultural Center was an incredible experience.
Michael S — Google review
Unfortunately for me I ate at Aaimpa cafe. I unusually like to complain about a place so here it goes: they gave to big of portions that tasted great and the cost was to low! It was clean and cool. That was really upsetting as the staff was friendly on top of it! I had nothing to complain about. On a side note, when you tour the village, I might recommend going out on the sky bridge as it looks down on the village and really has an impact. We watched and participated in a stomp dance. All of the folks were so nice and took time to explain background, importance and helped understanding it's importance. If you do not like friendly people who shake your hand then this might not be your cup of tea.
Cheap S — Google review
Food was good, staff was nice, long wait for your food depending on what you order. Prices were reasonable and portions are generous.

Edit: We went recently & the food was terrible, my husband's indian taco was flat & hard & just gross. The soups were good, but someone messed up big time on that fry bread!

Second stay here about 30 days apart. Very easy to get too, and easy access to hotel amenities. Check in very smooth and effortless. Room was adequate in size and comfortable. Previous stay the electrical outlets next to bed did not work. This trip they did. Casino small, but perfect size for the hotel. Don't expect to walk away rich, but combination of different machines makes it fun to play. The Springs restaurant was good and their array of dishes was perfect. Received the best service ever from Lacy, who made the dining experience perfect. An exceptional server!!! Hotel is a perfect getaway.

This place needs to give more incentives to stay, spend money gambling and shopping at their surrounding stores! The signs state the shops are open! NOT!! Employees are boring. No personalities! Front desk Employees should be giving more discounts on rooms when people are dissatisfied! Our room was immediately next to the elevator. That's all we heard all night! A constant loud motor running. The room was over $200! The view was the roof of the lower level. The king-size bed and pillows were very luxurious and comfortable! The shower was great except for the metal thing sticking out of the glass shower wall! The piano player was awesome! We enjoyed the pool and the huge hot tub...

One of the most frustrating hotel experiences I've ever had. First, the spa whirlpool had visible mold--definitely not what you'd expect from a place that markets itself as relaxing or upscale. When I got to my room, the shower didn't have hot water. I went to call the front desk and realized... there was no phone in the room. I had to use my personal cell to report the issue, and they told me maintenance would be sent up. Thirty minutes passed with no word, so I went downstairs myself--it was now 9 PM. I was told, "We tried to call your room, but maintenance went home, and we couldn't reach you." That was frustrating on multiple levels: 1) My cell never rang, and 2) they couldn't call the room because it didn't have a phone. They also never bothered to come up and speak to me directly. Eventually, they moved me to another room--only for me to find out the A/C wasn't working. At that point, I had to call again. Oh, and before I forget: in the first room, the shampoo container had some kind of gunk or buildup on it. It was gross--clearly not cleaned properly and not something anyone should have to touch. It wasn't until 9:45 PM that I finally settled into my third room of the night. Thankfully, this one had a working shower, a phone, and working A/C. But by then, the stress had already taken its toll. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was unacceptable. Between the maintenance issues, lack of communication, unsanitary conditions, and poor customer service, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

An historic, lovely old hotel (updated but preserving the character and features (was rebuilt after the 1906 original was destroyed by fire in 1962.). The Chickasaw Nation took over ownership in 2013: a small casino is attached to the back of the hotel, a complete deluxe spa is available, an excellent restaurant is on-site as well as a lounge, several boutiques and shops within walking distance as well as incredible attractions a few miles away (Chickasaw Cultural Center and Chickasaw National Recreation Area are musts, and are practically free to visit). The hotel offers plenty of luxury for the price ( and hefty discounts are available. Be sure to join the Players Club: doesn't matter if you intend to gamble or not). This was the QUIETEST hotel I've ever stayed in: free parking (including covered parking), incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. Will definitely make another visit.

I was here for a retreat over the weekend and absolutely loved it! The hotel is beautiful, the bed was comfy and the tub in the bathroom was a great “mini spa” since I forgot my swimsuit. We utilized the banquet room for our event and the staff who handled everything were on point the entire weekend. The food we had for all 4 meals served (dinner, lunch, dinner & breakfast) was also phenomenal with options for our gluten free for those who needed it.

Neat and tidy, lots of Native American jewelry, arts, prints, some paintings and some bronzes. Several working rooms for artists. I was most impressed by the weaving room. Four or five large looms of different types and several more smaller looms. All were setup to start weaving and best of all were the two women who told me there are over 20 members in their group. They need spinners for making hand spun thread.

I loved this place...there's just a little something 4 everyone. My girlfriends and I enjoyed our lunch and shopping experience. Be sure 2 say hello Holly at front checkout. Very pleasant and altogether lovely individual. I met the Owner of The Table and of The Mix Mercantile. Really beautiful ladies inside and out. I will surely return. The place was very clean and enough parking. And I loved the location.

After your first visit you will return. Try the bars of soap they sell. It's an amazing store with a ton of treasures. They have their on line of t-shirts and even some Amish food. Enjoy.... Definitely a must see.

Nice place. So glad it's better than I remember it to be a couple years ago. We Didn't stay long. We only stayed a few minutes but we will return when in the area again .

Ordered some cute shirts on line and went in to pick them up. I had never been in before. I found several more cute clothes in the store in my plus size. My daughter found several items as well. Good buys on the sale racks. Stayed for brunch at The Table, the little restaurant inside. It was very popular. Place was hopping and I can see why. Service and food were great. Overall, a fun weekend morning. A great place!!

This store moved to a new location catty corner from the old store to a much bigger place. It has some of the cutest booths with lots of unique jewelry (especially western), wonderful selection of women's clothes and shoes, and unique and special gift items including my favorite booth of farm/barn vintage kitchen items. It's a great store in the heart of downtown and highly recommend it!

From the moment you walk into the mercantile and are graced with their signature fragrance until the store clerk says goodbye, be prepared for one pleasant surprise after another. Neutral tones, organic cottons, cleverly-phrased theme apparel and gifts await. Then there’s the local chocolate and a little cafe in the back. Worth driving 30 minimizes out of your way!

Oka' Chokmasi, which means "beautiful water" in the Chickasaw language, is a serene and culturally significant park. It features stunning water fountains and Native American artwork that beautifully reflect the importance of water to the Chickasaw people. The park's well-maintained grounds are wheelchair accessible and offer a peaceful atmosphere for visitors to enjoy at any time of day.
Quite, peaceful, romantic spot to stop by at night. The fountains, Native American cultural artwork and stone structure/design are all very well executed. At night there is lightning that compliments the cultural art. ♿️ There are stairs on the south end but the entire grounds are wheelchair accessible. The fountains were very well maintained and clean.

Beautiful, peaceful place. The lovely water features steal the show, but all the native artwork is gorgeous. The many benches make it a good place to take a rest. The landscaping is carefully chosen to accent the art and water features. A surprising little oasis just off downtown Sulphur.

Travertine Nature Center is a fantastic place for families to explore and connect with nature. The friendly and knowledgeable staff offer Junior Ranger books, allowing kids to learn about the area and earn their park Junior Ranger Badge. Amazing hiking. Very well maintained. I can't wait to go back.

Just a heads-up about the road to the visitor center: there might be a closure, so be sure to follow any detour signs. Once you arrive, you'll find plenty of parking and several short hiking trails nearby. During your hike, you might see some water running alongside the path, and please be aware that some areas could be flooded. When we were there, it had rained a lot, and we even saw some fallen tree branches, so keep an eye out for those. The trail is unpaved but an easy walk with clear trailheads, and on a dry day, it could even be stroller-friendly.

If you're looking for a delightful dining experience in Sulphur, look no further than the Springs at the Artesian. This charming restaurant offers a unique atmosphere that feels both upscale and welcoming. Upon entering from the second-floor sidewalk, you might be surprised by its elegant vibe, which is perfect for a special meal. The menu features an array of delicious options that cater to various tastes and budgets; my daughter enjoyed the Talapia with asparagus while I opted for catfish—both were scrumptious!
Really enjoy this place. Nice and quiet. Service is excellent. And the best food I've found in sulphur. Steak cooked perfectly. Risotto was creamy, delicious. I love that they leave the peels in the potatoes. Yummy, can't wait to come back.
Casey J — Google review
Asked my 13 year old daughter to find us a place to eat in Sulphur, that wasn't a chain. She picked the Springs. We came in from the second floor sidewalk which is kinda the back door. The main entrance is from the hotel. Once we figured out where we were, the host seated us at a nice booth. My daughter embarrassingly said she didn't know it was such a fancy place. I asked her to keep it under $20.00. There were several option in that range. She had the Talapia ($20.00) and asparagus. I chose the catfish ($15.00). After a day working in the heat the water was delicious. The food was excellent. If your ever in Sulphur this is a great choice. The fried peaches could use a little less cinnamon.

Our server Lacy/Lacey (sp?) was great. She was basically covering 2/3 of the restaurant all and the bar and really knocked it out of the park. She was friendly and prompt. Our food was ok. Portion sizes were filling but overall some dishes were just alright. This was our 3rd time here.

What a find! Great dining option if you're visiting Turner Falls or the Sulphur area. Convenient historic downtown location! Springs is absolutely fantastic! Everything was so delicious. Staff were kind and offered top service. Super delicious! Located inside the Artesian Hotel.

I made reservations for this place but we were running late and they were very flexible in changing the time. We arrived and the server came quickly and placed our orders fast, the food did take a bit to come out and the server forgot something on my order so I asked him to not bring it anymore. The food was actually very delicious, we enjoyed everything. Me except my drink it didn't have much flavor it only tasted like alcohol. The place is nice and has plenty of seating.
Relii C — Google review
This PLACE was phenomenal!!! The fish was a tad salty but still delicious. Ha, it didn't stop me from ordering room service either! The waitress was very attentive when I dined in. The chicken sandwich was my favorite though; and the bread pudding made me appreciate giving it another shot, I don't plan on ordering it anywhere else because it won't be as fulfilling. Everything was amazing, I am truly looking forward to making another visit!!!
Mister H — Google review
I ordered the chicken fried steak on two different nights and both nights the steak was burned on the bottom. From looking at it before cutting into it it looked great. They conveniently put the burned side in the bottom. The second time I ordered the steak it was barely warm and literally tasted like it had been cooked for a few hours and reheated. The first time I had it, it was perfect. My wife ordered grilled chicken and it was not hot at all. Room temperature at best. Very disappointed this trip.

Flower Bluff Manor LLC is a delightful destination that combines exquisite dining with a touch of history and intrigue. Nestled in a charming two-story home from the 1920s, this unique venue offers an inviting atmosphere, complete with a cozy fireplace perfect for intimate dinners. Guests rave about the delicious food, including standout dishes like ribeye steak and shrimp scampi, all prepared to perfection. The appetizers are equally impressive; fried zucchini sticks have garnered particular praise for their nostalgic recipe that brings back fond memories.
We went and checked out the bluff manor in Sulphur for date night. It was excellent! From the service to the ghost tour. I took some videos of our experience there tonight. Linda our Ghost tour guide was so amazing and had very strong stories about the manor. At times I felt super light headed and dizzy. There was some movement of a key in the lock and it was just moving by itself and in another time it just stopped. I saw a door creak open as well! You have to go! Super cool! Our waitress Lisa and bartender Jackson were a pleasure as well. Thank you guys for an amazing experience!

Let me start off with the dip is amazing, the pita chips are hand made to order. Yummy! The marry me chicken was great with the sauce, without it the chicken was a tad dry but like I said, sauce is GREAT. Very large portions. The stuffed mushrooms were not my personal favorite. A little more bread in the stuffing than I would’ve preferred, but also it’s handmade. I think overall, this place is an experience and a cool thing to do in sulphur :-)

We had such a nice dinner at the Flower Bluff Mansion! Everyone was so friendly and the food was amazing. We really enjoyed sitting outside on their cute patio all decorated for fall. They were very welcoming to us and our dog. We got the zucchini sticks, stuffed mushrooms, ribeye and blackened salmon and everything was really good. Highly recommend!

Definitely make sure to call ahead for a reservation and I would suggest making sure you’re not seated by the front door. The food was absolutely amazing. Its a little expensive but the portions were decent sized.

The food was really good, (we were too hungry to take pictures, but the presentation was also good) my steak was cooked as requested, was tender, sides were really good and fresh. My friend said her chicken was really good. Her son loved his cheeseburger and mac-n-cheese. My son enjoyed his steak, said it was 2 thumbs up, and his Broccoli was good. We took our dessert to go, Chocolate cake and NY cheesecake.

The food was great, the people are awesome , loved the atmosphere and it was a fun experience. We learned a lot about the history of the manor ,places & people surrounding it and the town. My boyfriend even had a few paranormal contacts... We would totally go back!

My wife and I ate here in January 2024. I was extremely pleased. Everything was perfect. The property is amazing, a very unique two story home from the 20's. We sat by the beautiful fireplace. Our appetizer was fried zucchini sticks, we found out it was the same recipe from a restaurant that was in Sulphur years ago, one that we had gone to often. The zucchini sticks were even better than I remembered. I had the rib eye and my wife had shrimp scampi. Cooked just the way I like it, and it was wonderful. Baked potato perfect, salad perfect. Very, very well pleased. The zucchini sticks are a must.

Delizi Pizza is a charming little spot that offers a delightful experience for pizza lovers. Known for its thin NY-style pizza, the crust may not always steal the show, but the flavors certainly do! Their Stromboli stands out with its fresh ingredients and soft crust, making it a must-try. The service here is commendable; staff members are attentive and eager to assist, even going the extra mile to help customers carry their orders.
Cozy hideaway in Sulphur. Great Italian dishes and pizza. Wife had the small chicken pizza (it was the size of a Simple Simon’s large). I had the chicken parmigiana with salad and house dressing. Everything was excellent and the service was great! If you’re in Sulphur you need to check it out.
Jack W — Google review
7.13.22 - note the name outside or on Google may read Cely's. Ordered takeout (medium sausage pizza and cheese garlic bread) here after leaving Turner Falls Park. When I walked in there was a good-sized crowd of customers, but the cashier was prompt and attentive. Less than 20 minutes to walk out with our food. The restrooms were clean and stocked. The pizza was great, but please note it was thin. I like thin pizza sometimes so that was not an issue for us (2 adults and 2 little boys). The bread is what prevented the 5-stars in this review. While bread was good, it just wasn't enough for $6. It looked like it was nothing more than a hotdog/small sub bun they put butter, cheese, garlic on. Enjoyable garlic bread, but not worth $6. Nevertheless, we were craving more pizza long after we left Sulphur. I would definitely eat here again. Spent $15 total.

BEST PIZZA in six counties!!!! We’ve found our new FAVORITE pizza joint south of OKC!!! Garlic bead is amazing too!
B T — Google review
Pizza was a 3 but service was a 4 and Stromboli was a 5! The Stromboli tasted very fresh with soft crust and good mozzarella. The pizza was decent NY style thin Pizza, I usually eat my pizza crust but this was just OK crust and didn't eat it all. [Update] Went again on a Friday for dinner. They had the young nephew waiting on us. It must have been his first day. He was very nervous and didn't know what the "Pink sauce" on the menu was, nor if we could do half a pie with pep and half just cheese. He also got my wife's order wrong. Not a big deal we weren't in a rush. The Chicken Alfredo was Mid, the sauce was very runny/watery and the chicken tasted like it was frozen from a bag. After doctoring it up with a lot of parmesan cheese salt and pepper it tasted pretty good 😬. I got the stromboli and it was still the best thing we've had there. For a tiny Mom and Pop joint, it's still not bad after swimming all day. Will return and try other things.

Small place with great pizza. Got 4 different personal pizzas for takeout and all were super delicious. Staff was very helpful when ordering over the phone. On my way out my hands were full and another staff member opened the door for me and even followed me to the car to help open the car door. Excellent food and excellent service. I tried to take more pics for this review but one staff freaked out a bit so I stopped taking pics after 2 shots.

Waterfall
Nestled within the Chickasaw National Recreation Area, Little Niagara Falls is a captivating natural wonder that draws visitors with its tranquil beauty and inviting swimming hole. The falls cascade over small tiers, creating an emerald-green pool where visitors can swim and tube down the creek. The spring-fed water remains cool, making it a refreshing spot to escape the summer heat. With picnic tables and cooking pits available nearby, it's an ideal place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
Our visit to Little Niagara Falls on July 5, 2024, was wonderful. The cool waters of Travertine Creek flow through Little Niagara, making it one of the park's most popular swimming spots. My son enjoyed swimming, and we also explored the area. It was truly stunning and beautiful. The water was cold but enjoyable, and we could see little fishes inside. A great experience overall!

What a lovely spot! Just 2 hours from Dallas, Little Niagara in Sulphur, OK is absolutely gorgeous. The crystal-clear spring water, lush trees, and cool breeze make it a perfect escape from city life. The area is very family-friendly with lots of picnic tables, BBQ grills, clean restrooms, and plenty of parking (including ♿ accessible spaces). You can swim in the springs or simply dip your feet in the refreshing, ice-cold water. The facilities are well maintained by Chickasaw National Recreation Services—and it’s all free! A quick tip: there are no restaurants or delis nearby, so bring food or something to grill. Most of the picnic area is graveled, so wheelchair access is possible but not the easiest. It’s also pet-friendly—we saw several dogs and even made some furry friends. Peaceful, clean, and relaxing. I absolutely loved it and will definitely return!

Golf course
Sulphur Hills Golf Course, now owned and operated by the Elks Lodge of Sulphur, has significantly improved in recent years. The course offers a laid-back atmosphere with well-maintained greens that are particularly praised for their quality. Visitors appreciate the friendly and accommodating staff as well as the reasonable pricing, especially during twilight hours when golfing is half price. This 9-hole course is known for its good bent grass greens and is considered a great value for the experience it offers.
Sulphur Hills is a small-town course with a lot of heart. It is a great spot if you just want to get out and enjoy a casual round. The staff is friendly, the pace is laid-back, and the prices are hard to beat. Perfect for beginners, locals, or anyone looking for a simple day on the course without breaking the bank.

Best greens in town!! Played 9 with the fam while we were in town for a visit, laid back course, little dry, but not too busy, I think pricing online said $25 for 9 with cart (I could have misread) but it was actually $35. All in all, had a good time with our nephews and we would play it again if we went back for a visit!
Jeri F — Google review
Will never be back to this golf course only because it cost me $110 dollars for 18 holes. I don't know if the lady at the front didn't know what she was doing or what. Other than that alright golf course. But need to fix the pricing. I've paid less than that to play at tour 18 in texas

I play this course all the time when I'm visiting family in Sulphur. It's a hidden gem! The staff is awesome and the course is in great shape! Some of the best greens I've played on. Pace of play is very fast. Probably one of the best 9 hole courses in the state.

Played here the last three weekends, Green fees were $29.99 with a cart. I have bank records showing so. An older white woman showed up 15 mins late making 10 plus golfers wait for her to open up the clubhouse , cart barn, etc. AFTER she was late she proceeded to ring up two golfers in my party for $100. Why is the price different all the sudden? I guess price is dependent on who works the clubhouse that day. Save yourself the trouble and head to Tish or PV.

Winery
Wine bar
Rusty Nail Winery, situated in the heart of downtown, is a charming family-owned boutique fruit cocktailry and gift shop. The winery offers a variety of wines, including sweet and dry options as well as white, blush, and red varieties. Despite not growing their own grapes, they ferment their drinks from juice blends. The winery provides a laid-back and family-friendly atmosphere where visitors can unwind on the patio with a glass of wine or beer.
Spectacular wine!! I ordered online, and was very impressed with the delivery packaging. What a day to be alive, ordering this level of quality straight to your doorstep!! I’ve yet to visit the new location-but I look forward to the day that I can visit Rusty Nail again on Muskogee Ave.

My husband and I visited while on our anniversary trip. The wine tasting was wonderful, lots of attention from the waitstaff. My favorite wine is Peep Toe chardonnay.

Exploring Oklahoma this weekend and it brought us to this cute place. Relaxing atmosphere and the ladies are very nice. Tried some wine which is great and you can even do a little shopping.

A beautiful and comfortable seat at the bar with the best selection of sweet wines...I loved this place. The owner reminds me of Steele Magnolias

Talk about a great place Wife and I were spending weekend at the resort in town we stumbled on this place I dont really do wine so forgive me if I use the wrong name but the bartenders were fun and helpful What a fun time we had they had a pretty big menu of their own wines and BEER! Had a meet n cheese tray and the spinach and artichoke dip was excellent They have flights of wine to taste if you don't want to commit to a glass and bottles to purchase You find yourself staying in Sulphur OK. Check it out. It was the highlight of our romantic couples weekend

Fast food restaurant
Sonic Drive-In is a delightful fast-food destination that captures the charm of classic drive-in dining. With its retro vibe, it offers a unique experience where you can enjoy delicious burgers and crispy fries served right to your car. The staff here are exceptionally friendly, with one standout being Dominick, whose cheerful demeanor and efficiency make every visit enjoyable. Customers rave about the quick service and fresh food, often devouring their meals before snapping a photo!
We stopped here for dinner, and a very good meal it was, I love their cherry limeades. Also, they have great onion rings, to go along with their wonderful hamburgers.
Howard L — Google review
Getting very hard to go to Sonic and eat. Never have more then 2stalls working and the stalls that was easy to pull into with a pickup are now app stalls. Service is awful, when you do get a hold of a person the girls are rude and cut you off after every item asking is that all. Went there 3nights ago and couldn't eat for no where to place an order. Went down the road to Carl's and had supper. About to stop going to Sonic all together.
MARK E — Google review
The lady at the window was hella rude and we ask for a RUTE 66 COKE and she had a problem with it and gave us a medium coke AND she would NOT let us see the receipt
Cierra — Google review
The food here is always delicious and the service is usually great, but today I had an issue. One of the employees named Bradyn brought me the wrong drink which was some type of blue coconut drink when I ordered a Dr Pepper with regular coconut syrup and cream. He then managed to spill said wrong drink down the inside of my car door and window landing some on my pant leg. He sat there squeezing the drink for a minute until I kinda pushed it back towards him. When I asked why it was blue, he just said “I don’t know”. He also didn’t grab me any napkins afterwards, nor the correct drink, and just proceeded to act like nothing happened. We went to a different spot, and Abby corrected the issue and was apologetic, which is very much appreciated.

Sulphur sonic only hires people who don’t understand what their job duties are. Food is usually good but services is horrible. Even if you order ahead they do not get your order out on time the just click that they are on their way so that they don’t get in trouble for being slow when actually they are very slow and in competent. Unfortunately it’s a small town and I will have to continue to use them but I will start doing reviews every time they choose to make stupid choices.

How are you going to ask if I want ranch and maranira and when i say both. I got none.
Katelynn T — Google review
The sweetest workers I’ve ever come across! The food came out fast, they were so kind about being willing to fix my order. The error was my fault. I was just so hungry I didn’t realize when they said my order back to me what I was getting. Food came out fresh and tasted great. Would have posted a picture but I ate it too fast.
Bea T — Google review
Food was Hot! Therfore I do believe it was fresh tho the customer service sucked big time!!! Once they seen our race they immediately started being rude taking the order tho its always good to treat people with kindness as we did. The catholic brought our food out with the ugliest look on her face. She even turned to walk away quick. We had to stop her like hey sweetie we hadn't even paid you for our food. But paid and smiled and made sure to tell her we hoped her day got better and to be blessed! Needless to say! This is 2023!!!! GET IT TOGETHER

Restaurant
Poor Girls Cafe is a cozy spot where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast. The cafe offers great coffee and a variety of tasty dishes, such as veggie omelets and French toast. The friendly staff provides excellent service, and the separate smoking area is a unique feature that sets this place apart. Customers appreciate the generous portions of food and the crispy hash browns served with breakfast specials.
Great food, great waitresses. Cozy, hometown food. They keep your drinks full. The other guests in the restaurant were super kind as well. Ate there twice and will go every time we come back. The cinnamon rolls are beyond amazing. And being able to get a side of fresh tomato was such a treat! There is a smoking room, which might bother some, but it didn’t bother us at all. 10/10!
Jacob H — Google review
The good: omelette was delicious, service fast and courteous. Not too busy on a Tuesday morning. The not so good: limited parking, small place (11 tables), not the cleanest, smoking 🚬 from the enclosed area strong in the dining room.
Tibor T — Google review
Extremely friendly staff and great food. If you want to know where all the locals are here you will find them here. Love the small town feel where everyone is so friendly and k just you on a first name basis. The staff was great and the food was good. My only draw back was the smoking section. It was totally in its own room and had a door that divided it from the restaurant. Just my personal complaint but would not stop me from going again.
Teresa P — Google review
We ate breakfast here. It was pretty good. I was surprised at the higher prices. The smoke was overbearing in the non-smoking section. Even my wife, being a previous smoker, said it was strong. If you are sensitive to smoke, do not dine inside.
Mc C — Google review
Big portions of good “home style” cooking. I got the sampler platter or zucchini sticks, mushrooms,& fried green tomatoes. So good! Joe had the poor girl sampler of 3 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 pieces of bacon, an 8” inch pancake, & hash browns . Good prices and we felt like we had been going there for years. Everyone near by had a story to tell or information to give. Great experience all around.

This place made me feel 100% at home. The sweet tea was country. My burger was the best burger I've had in a long time. Like.... A long time. Lol. This place is great and there's no reason it shouldn't be booming. I'd legit eat here everyday, instead of buying groceries. Ngl
Shelly M — Google review
We stopped here for breakfast on our way out from a weekend camping trip at the Chickasaw National Park. Their home cooking label is accurate. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. You need to try the cinnamon roll. We hope to try them for lunch or finner next time we are in town. Their prices are very affordable as well. Enjoy y'all.

Was visiting Sulphur, OK and seen this place on our drive in. Looked at the reviews on goggle and knew we had to give it a try! Some of the best breakfast we have gotten from a restaurant in years. Small town feel, friendly staff, big portions of food, fast service and a great price! Pancakes are huge, I dare you to order a short stack 🥞🫣

Golden Lin Chinese Restaurant is a hidden gem for anyone craving delicious Chinese take-out. While the dining area may be closed, this local favorite remains open and ready to serve up fresh, made-to-order meals that are perfect for enjoying at home. The restaurant prides itself on generous portions and friendly service, making it an ideal choice for families or anyone looking to satisfy their hunger without breaking the bank.
Always my go to when I'm visiting family in Sulphur. Great food.
David C — Google review
The dining room may still be closed but Golden Lin is definitely open for business. We desperately wanted fresh Chinese take-out for lunch and were absolutely thrilled to find we could get it from our local business. As always, the food was made fresh and perfectly to order, with plenty of prompt, friendly service. I am always happy when I get to eat here and this take-out experience was no exception. In fact, just typing this review is making me hungry all over again! We will definitely be back again very soon. Thank you, Golden Lin family and staff, for sticking with your loyal locals through thick and thin. We love you!! 💖

Okay, so it is an older building, but what they save on renovations you save in price on food. You always receive large portions, kind service, and food is fresh made when ordered. I have been going here for years, and I love calling in an order and picking it up on my way home. I have always received good food, never overcooked or anything weird. It's worth being able to feed 3 people for 2 meals for under $25. When I was attending school full time this was a life saver.
Denise W — Google review
Food was not typical Chinese food we get at other restaurants. Got General Tso chicken. Usually at other restaurants it's nice side bites, spicy delicious. China Lin's tasted like a sauce made with Ketchup. Was not good. In fact I at the 4 pieces of sweet and sour chicken and left the rest and left hungry. Would not recommend
Tammi H — Google review
My coworker called in an order a few weeks ago and I picked it up. They acted like it was bothering them when I came in to get my food. Not very friendly. The sesame chicken was not good. The sauce was bright red and looked and tasted like regular sweet and sour sauce. The fried rice had no veggies or eggs in it that I could see at all. Very bland. We tried it again but both ordered something different and again it was not good.
Landra T — Google review
The price is reasonable & portion sizes are big. Very few dinning in. Once inside my people & I decided to take our food to go. The restaurant was clean but the dining room could use a major over haul. It's very dated. All that aside I give the food 3 stars. Everything we ordered was fresh & tasty .
Gigi S — Google review
The smell from the sulphur water across the road is awful. The food is bland. I ordered fried wontons were not folded right and the crab in them were over baring. The service was asleep. The waitress we had looked like we bothered her. We were the only ones in there. This is one place we will never stop at again
Mia B — Google review
Tasty food in big portions at such a great price! I also really appreciate that they are taking safety measures seriously (currently it is take out only; dine-in is closed) and that everyone who works there is always wearing a mask. You can walk in, order your food, and have your to-go order in less than 10 minutes (usually faster).
