Southern restaurant (US)
Great Southern Cafe in Seaside offers a modern twist on classic southern dishes, reflecting the chef's diverse culinary experiences. The menu features a variety of unique items such as New-Orleans Style Seafood Gumbo. Families can enjoy both traditional and innovative dishes, with a kids' menu offering options like macaroni and cheese and popcorn shrimp.
This place is great !!! There was a 30-40 minute wait on Sunday around 5:30, so just be prepared. We Ordered some mixed drinks (Habanero margarita, bourbon smash) and they were very good. Once we were seated, we Ordered the calamari appetizer which was also great. It tasted better using the spicy oyster sauce at the tables instead of the salsa/sauce it came with. For mains, we ordered the Grits a YaYa, meat and three sides, and the buttermilk chicken sandwich. All the food was tasty and very filling. Valerie our server was also excellent and checked in on us to make sure we had everything and gave us some good suggestions.

Crushed our expectations! We usually go in to the main strip vacation spots with low expectations because you can only expect so much from a tourist vaca restaurant that is mainly focused on turning out tables every hour. This place seated us right away, the waitress was calm and collected, she got the kids food out quickly and kept refreshing our drinks. We appreciated the attentiveness and constant checking in. But what crushed it the most is that the food was near flawless in presentation and taste! The flavors were bold and preparation/taste was way beyond expectation! I’d definitely come back again. This place had one shot and they crushed it above and beyond. I don’t always eat at the same place twice, but when I do it would be Great Southern Cafe!

Great place for great food in the heart of Seaside on 30A! Shrimp Yaya abd Grouper Yaya are my two favorites. Seafood over cheese grits with gravy! My friends had the same or a 14 oz Ribeye steak, burgers or chicken sandwiches. The coleslaw slaw is a good side, but the best is their hand cut sweet potato fries. YUM! Great service and typical 30A prices.
Kedoaj — Google review
We had such a wonderful meal at The Great Southern! I ordered the shrimp and grits, which were absolutely fantastic — creamy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice. My friends ordered a salad topped with salmon, a fried chicken sandwich, and a grilled chicken sandwich, and everyone loved their meals. The fried okra was easily some of the best we’ve ever had — crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned perfectly. We started our meal with their beignets, which were light, fluffy, and the perfect sweet ending. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, and the service was friendly and attentive without being rushed. It’s easy to see why this place is so popular — every dish felt fresh and thoughtfully made. Highly recommend The Great Southern Café for anyone visiting Seaside or looking for a delicious Southern-inspired meal done right!
Rachel H — Google review
Good gosh those grits!!! Our family has to come here for brunch every time we visit Seaside and it never disappoints. My husband had Grits of Ya Ya (always impeccable) and just such and amazingly flavorful unique dish. Somebody at the table should ALWAYS order this dish and at least share. We also had the Cafe Breakfast (mainly to indulge in the “Oyster” sauce that is amazing with the scrambled eggs. It is a very tasty hot sauce that you definitely need to try. If you are like me, you will leave with several jars. Avocado coast is beautiful and delicious. Not a fan of the bacon, simply because it is thinner and less crispy than I prefer, but their house sage sausage is a definite favorite choice. Drinks are generous and very refreshing. The skinny mimosa with orange essential oil is my new fave. Definitely have a mimosa “because you are on vacation “. Expresso machine was down so we loaded up on those.
Jennifer W — Google review
I was pleasantly surprised by my recent lunch, which featured the Great Southern Dip sandwich and excellent sweet potato fries. Much tastier than your typical French dip, and portion was unexpectedly large. Great patio dining.
Eric P — Google review
Check all the boxes. Great service. Great food reasonably priced. Had the crab's egg Benedict with smoked gouda cheese grits. They were a 10 chicken and waffles with orange Rosemary infused syrup. Another 10 asked for no pickled veggies on the bloody Mary, they included them. Anyways, no big deal
Mike G — Google review
Our dinner experience was nothing short from spectacular. The atmosphere was very relaxing, staff and servers were friendly and professional who knows about the food and very passionate in explaining in detail. Our food was just soo good. We will definitely come back here next time were in Destin, FL.

Music store
Gift shop
Central Square Records is a must-visit spot in Seaside, offering an outstanding collection of vinyl for music lovers of all tastes. The store's welcoming atmosphere and knowledgeable staff make browsing through their well-organized shelves a joy. Whether you're into classic rock, jazz, indie, or pop, you'll find something for everyone in the family here.
Another great little music store with an excellent vinyl selection. Located on the top floor of a building in the center of Seaside. Seaside is infamous as the backdrop town in the movie starring Jim Carrey, called "The Truman Show." Staff were very friendly. Great place to vinyl mine.
Michael W — Google review
Amazing experience overall, I visited the shop on International Record Store Day. Unfortunately the title that I came for had already been claimed by another collector. No problem. A helpful CSR member allowed me to get on a list, as the shop has a network of other shops that might possibly have a copy of the limited release. No kidding, one week later and I received a text that they had found my requested title. Hours later, I bought it. They even gave me a discount because the sale was considered to be a 'Special Order. ' As I introduce my seven month old daughter to music and the vinyl format, I am glad that she will hopefully have a local record shop to call her own. Highly recommended!
Jeremy K — Google review
What a fun shop! Absolute best t-shirt selection for the Gen Xers and readers in the area. Great, unique prints. What seems to be a pretty nicely sized vinyl collection for this area. Tons of fun gifts. Some music supplies. Great vibe and enough space that you don’t feel claustrophobic!
J B — Google review
Thanks to Tom and staff for an amazing vist. Very helpful and eager to help me get the records i wanted. Thanks for allowing me to go through the box of recent Beatles albums you haven't processed yet very grateful. I will be in touch once everything is ready for sale.
Jack J — Google review
The coolest store on 30A, by a mile. I always make time to visit this shop and I don’t even have a record player anymore. Firstly their collection is VAST, just don’t expect anything super popular to be in stock because things always fly off the shelves. That being said, they also have the coolest paraphernalia (puzzles, notebooks, pins, guitar straps) I’ve ever seen. Such a fun venue!
Daniel P — Google review
One of the best record stores ever but they are pretty expensive compared to others. Pretty standard for the area though so that’s understandable. Everyone there is great
Emily — Google review
We visited this place last night out in Santa Rosa beach. I thought the staff was really helpful and even taught me about some new jazz artists while I was looking for records. They seem to have a wide variety of vinals and even CDs. I'll definitely be returning. Nice place and not to overpriced. I got a sticker for my water bottle too shydd.

We have bought six records from this store over the last two years and none of them spin without messing up. Some of them are so bad you can’t even listen to them.

Very cool local bookstore in Seaside, Florida. It is located right in the square on the bottom floor of a 2 story building (the top floor is a record store). They fit a lot in a small space and it's a fun place to explore! Prices are average for Seaside, almost everything priced the printed amount on the books and not many sales or discounts but lots of fun gifts and a nice kids section and specific areas for art, travel, and cooking. I recommend checking out if you are in the area! The store upstairs is fun too and has a nice balcony to sit on and relax.
Nicole H — Google review
Well stocked bookstore right in the center of town. Very helpful and friendly staff. They had a large selection of kids books and all adult genres too. I didn’t go upstairs but was told they have really nice records up there. Perfect stop to grab a beach vacation read.

Great book store that you should definitely visit and support! I went in there and found a bunch of hidden gems, a good mix of old and new. With book stores going out of business, I encourage you to go and buy something to keep them going! Great atmosphere with plenty to do around the bookstore as well!

We were excited to find postcards that we could mail to our young granddaughters along with other items. Such an unfriendly person checking us out. No “ how are you?”, so unpleasant. Barked a total to us like we were an inconvenience. We’ve been coming to Seaside for many years but today was our last trip into Sun Dog Books. There are other book stores that make you feel welcome.

Gourmet grocery store
Modica Market is a beloved grocery store located in the town circle, serving customers from dawn to dusk for over 30 years. Founded by Sarah and Charles Modica, this eclectic gourmet market offers a variety of specialty and convenience items. The house-made meringue-topped banana pudding is legendary, and visitors can enjoy freshly squeezed lemonade to beat the summer heat. For locals, it's the go-to place for holiday meats and everyday essentials.
We always stop here when we go to Seaside. Located right in a square. It is a gourmet grocery store full of packaged snacks, sauces, spices, and mixes. It also has a fresh bakery case, deli with meat and house made salads and sides, and lots of wine and drinks. Pricey but great food and worth a stop. My parents love their muffins and I love their salads especially the shrimp salad. Always busy so that says a lot.
Nicole H — Google review
Fun gourmet market! Lots of specialty items you can’t find at the supermarket (Publix). But the real reason to go is the deli and bakery- wow! Wish we could have tried everything. They also make great coffee. Tables are outside for dining. They are right on the plaza in Seaside. Such a gem.
Julie D — Google review
Ten years ago, I came to the U.S. on a university exchange program and worked here for a while. Yesterday I got the chance to come back, and it still felt just as nice as I remembered. I grabbed a Philly cheesesteak and a broccoli salad. Both were super tasty. And the blueberry muffin I first tried here a decade ago? Still the exact same flavor!

The customer service was great! Delicious coffee!! And outside there was live music

Wonderful market with a European feel. Lots of different/unique items. Fun plates to wander and check out all the different items. We ended up getting wine and chocolates.
Scott W — Google review
Beautiful, small little shop with a wide variety being sold. From canned food, essential items, to freshly cooked/baked goods. I sampled some of their freshly made food, and it was delicious! The price was a little on the high end, but what can you expect from a market in a tourist area? I would definitely recommend checking out this place for a bite to eat, and if you need to grab something.
Fruity B — Google review
This place is such a local gem! They have hard to find wines on hand along with candy my kids love. The range of items available is remarkable given the size of the shop. We love this store their deli and bakery items are to die for. ***Best place for a 21st bday freshly squeezed mimosa!!
Beach L — Google review
Modica market is a small specialty/convenience grocery store with a deli/cafe. For visitors, this is a wonderful place to grab a pack of beer, a pint of local icecream, a few pounds of fillet for dinner, and some seasoning for the fish you just caught. For the full time residents, this is THE place to get thanksgiving turkeys and Christmas hams. You can open a tab to have a card on file for easy beach trips or bike rides. They also have the best draft selection of seaside on constant rotation. Give it a try and buy a slice of cake while you’re at it!

Ice cream shop
Located in a charming and modern shop, It's Heavenly offers a delightful selection of hand-scooped ice cream, gelato, strawberry shortcakes, pastries, and coffee. Visitors can indulge in the delicious gelato specialties and ice cream with customizable toppings. The shop is known for its friendly service and family-friendly atmosphere, making it a popular choice for both locals and tourists. Despite slightly higher prices compared to other local shops, the superb quality of the gelato makes it worth the visit.
Stopped in while visiting other shops in Seaside. Had a slice of the KeyLimePie, Dipped in Chocolate, on a Stick. Enough for all four of us to get a good taste. It was delicious. The other items in the counter looks equally tasty. There was gelato and some awesome looking cookies. Would come back again to try other treats.
Scott W — Google review
I was excited to try this ice cream place ever since I saw some YouTube clips of seaside with this place mentioned. The ice cream and gelato were decent. The flavors were not as rich as I thought it would be. When we walked in, there was no wait and was assisted right away.

Amazing service! The whole team was so kind and very complementary to the guests! Bailey checked us out and she was so sweet and genuine. We got the Butterfinger ice cream and it was absolutely divine! We also recommend the cookie sandwich!
Ally H — Google review
So good, you will need two spoons! When we went one evening, it wasn't super crowded. There is not any indoor seating, so be prepared to sit out in the sun. It was great icecream and a great milkshake too. We always visit here when we are in town!
Ben M — Google review
So good! The line was very long when we arrived, but to our surprise it moved quickly and the service was great. We got a brownie extreme handfold (seen in photo) and one scoop of birthday cake ice cream (not pictured) and both were delicious!
Madison C — Google review
They were very busy when we went and I have to say for what we paid I would not go back to this ice cream shop. The ice cream just melted very quickly and was like a milkshake instantly. They’ll add a cookie or brownie or whatever to your ice cream and I get the novelty of that, However that is probably what made the ice cream so runny and it made it so sweet. I know that’s what you want with ice cream however it’s super overrated. I just want good solid lickable ice cream lol.
Steven D — Google review
Overpriced and not that great. We got the $13 cup of ice cream (triple chocolate) and it was not worth it. The brownie wasn't very good and the ice cream tasted cheap. The ice cream was also freezer burnt, which isn't a huge deal but harms the presentation. It was also served in a disposable cup rather than a reusable one like other places with a similar product. If it was $7 it would be good, but $13 is too much for the quality you receive.
Redmond C — Google review
We stopped by with our 3 kids and asked for a sample before buying, but the staff didn’t seem too happy about it. The two ladies working weren’t very friendly, which made the experience a bit uncomfortable. We just wanted to make sure we liked it before buying. We ended up buying the ones we sampled but there’s a lot of options in the area so we wont be back here specially when staff werent so friendly and doesn’t appreciate our business. Zero stars for me! Staff needs customer service training!!! Visited June 26,2025!!!

Hot dog restaurant
Breakfast restaurant
Nestled just a block from the beach, Wild Bill's Beach Dogs is a vibrant and quirky snack stand that brings a taste of Texas to Seaside. This charming spot serves up delicious hot dogs and soft pretzels, perfect for enjoying at one of their colorful outdoor tables or taking to go. A highlight on their menu is the kolache, a delightful Czech pastry filled with cheese and sausage that pays homage to the owners' roots.
These are some great hotdogs and kolaches. I wish I would’ve tried more things on the menu, but we were on a bike ride. You could tell the hots are higher quality than your regular hotdog and the kolache seeming handmade. Price to quality ratio is great!
Blake P — Google review
The experience was great, I loved how beautiful the area was. It wasn’t too busy and they had enough tables to accommodate people in such a high traffic area. The dogs were a little more than I was expecting, so my partner and I can’t say that we enjoyed them much. But the experience was worth it.
Kristen S — Google review
In a world filled with complexities, sometimes, it's the simplest pleasures that prove the most gratifying. Wild Bill's Beach Dogs, tucked away in Seaside, is a testament to this ethos. It's baffling, really, how many have failed to recognize the sheer culinary poetry this humble establishment has to offer. Perhaps they're too ensnared in the cacophony of today's convoluted gourmet scene to truly appreciate the art of a well-crafted hot dog. I indulged in the American and the Carolina special, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of a gastronomic epiphany. The flavors danced on my palate with the finesse of a seasoned ballerina, each bite more compelling than the last. It's a symphony of taste that leaves one yearning for an encore. To the naysayers who've granted Wild Bill's a meager average: you might need to cleanse your palate or perhaps, re-evaluate your life's choices. For me, this delightful nook gets a resounding five stars, reminding us all that sometimes, simplicity reigns supreme.
Danny V — Google review
Really good hotdogs. I got the Chi style and it was delicious. A little pricey for a food truck but so is everything else around the area. Definitely recommend giving it a try.

Great hot dogs! My kids LOVED the kid hotdogs. We got it without the combo so it was $7/each. Quick and easy. There are plenty of tables across the street to sit and eat. Parking is hard but worth it.
Madeleine H — Google review
I daydream about these hotdogs!!! I am from TN but come to seaside often and we stop here every time!! The dogs are incredible! A little pricey but that is to be expected in 30A.
Marie M — Google review
Really adorable area and our sevice was great!! Only waited a couple of minutes. My husband and I shared 1 hotdog with chili & cheese and a bottle of water. It was pricey and I am all for spending extra for a great gourmet hotdog. It is not gourmet when you have canned Hormel chili. I like hormel chili, but not on a $14 hotdog. The hot dog itself was tasty but definitely not worth the hype.

Bar
Bud & Alley's Waterfront Restaurant & Bar is a long-standing, relaxed beachside eatery with an assorted menu and a lively open-air bar on the upper level. Despite its popularity due to its seaside location, securing a table can be challenging, especially for larger groups. The service is commendable but may be slightly delayed due to the high demand. The rooftop dining experience offers stunning views and excellent drink options served by attentive staff.
6/9/2025 I woke today at 4 am. Coffee, read the news , and went to the beach till noon. My wife wanted to try Bud and Alley’s Waterfront Dining Seaside Fl. Parking is a problem! I tried the scan thing , couldn’t get it to work, was about to leave and a parking spot opened up in front of the restaurant! Good omens! Other than the guy behind me that doesn’t understand parallel parking! We got parked went in and Maria B took care of us. 2 teas $8. Calamari $18. Fried Grouper Sandwich $32. Crab cake $ 25. Tea was fine , fresh with lemon, sweet not too sweet. Calamari was hot fresh and sauce was excellent! Not chewy , very well balanced! The grouper sandwich was excellent! Fried perfectly, fresh green bed. My crab cake was pure crab …. Purely seared to mouth watering delight! I left out the couple, in the corner, with the crying toddler! It made the place all the better for me! As I watched the mom and dad attempt to enjoy a good meal/ lunch while care for their child reminded me of my days , gone bye! As a father , grandfather, I’m now patient with kids interrupting my meals. I’m ok with that, This was a bit expensive, but everything around here is. If you’re here you should check it out! Take the kids!

Had a great late afternoon lunch here. Staff was outstanding. I can't imagine how crowded this place must be during peak season. We had great seats on upper deck by the rail with amazing ocean views. Matt our server was excellent and made sure we were well cared for. I ordered the calamari appetizer which was very good. I should have just stopped there as that was more than enough. My wife ordered the veggie sandwich which she too enjoyed. We'll be back.
John S — Google review
Great for sunsets. Seating is first come first serve on the rooftop so make sure you have eagle eyes for the ones on the deck to watch the sunset. Honestly, I came with no expectations but the crab cakes were the star dish of the night. I can appreciate the ratio of crab vs crumbs. We also ordered oysters and the grouper - not bad. Overall, we’re here for the vibes and drinks. I’d def recommend this to anyone in town!

Cute place! Nice view of the beach & water with a nice breeze up on the roof top! I’m so glad we stopped here! We enjoyed the fresh tuna dip along with a tropical drink. 🍹 Nice afternoon place to go to for lunch in this charming town of Seaside. 🩷

One of the few places to eat with an ocean view on 30A! We had a delightful lunch with the fam here and were glad to be seated on the rooftop bar deck. The service was top notch and food was great. We arrived around 11:30am and didn't have a problem getting a table. Plenty of seating all around! While some of the meals seemed a bit pricy for what they were, it was still worth it and a great lunch. I personally loved the BBQ shrimp - the flavor was amazing! Good portion and left super full! We also had the grilled fish sandwich, veggie sandwich, mahi reuben, kids grilled cheese, and fried chicken sandwich. The sandwiches come with a side of Cape Cod potato chips or a side salad. Rum punch was nice, too!
Megan B — Google review
It’s been a long time when a place was disappointing to eat at, leaving you unsatisfied. The service was okay, we were a large party and told the server how the checks are divided. She didn’t have an issue until the checks came out and she messed up on what food was on what receipt. If you are not from that location just so you’re aware there is a seaside additional tax added on, no one tells you about. The food one person grouped was good, the rest salty. Some food came out cold and was probably held in the back until the rest was ready. Which working in the restaurant industry some do such thing.Overly expensive for okay food example:a shrimp scampi was 37. The menu was interesting at the bottom says *no substitution please* This was our experience, take this review as you may.

Bud & Alley's Waterfront Restaurant & Bar is a long-standing, relaxed beachside eatery with an assorted menu and an open-air bar upstairs. The restaurant offers fresh coastal cuisine in a casual beachfront setting, while Airstream Row features retro food trailers serving everything from barbecue to creative crepes. Additionally, the rooftop deck provides panoramic views of the Gulf and is the perfect spot to enjoy cocktails, wine, and seafood appetizers while watching the sunset.

Frost Bites is a charming old trailer that offers a variety of frozen custard, shave ice, and delightful combinations from its window. Located in an area filled with exciting adventures, this spot is known for its heavenly treats and friendly staff. The shaved ice is incredibly smooth, and the syrups are rich with flavor. Visitors can expect to enjoy a true burst of taste with every bite.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stopped by Frost Bites today for a treat and were seriously blown away! Even though they were super busy, the guy who helped us went above and beyond—his customer service was out of this world. He was kind, patient, and made the whole experience fun for the kids. Our son got lime with the super sour added and said it was hands-down the BEST shaved ice he’s ever had. Our daughter got a “rainbow” and he helped her to pick the flavors. Huge thank you to the team at Frost Bites for making our day sweet, sour, and so much fun!
Taylor T — Google review
Waited over 25 minutes in a line of about 10-12 people. By the time there was still five people still waiting in front of me, I had to leave because the rest of my group had already ordered ice cream from another store, ate it, then walked around the area and wanted to leave. It looks like the people in front of me ordered shaved ice which should not take that long to prepare and serve. I wish I could’ve tried the actual shaved ice, but I wasn’t planning on waiting that long for a $10 dessert that I could make several times in that time frame myself. If there’s a line, don’t waste your time.
Dominic B — Google review
Tons of options, great location, friendly service, massive snow cones. Only downside is the line takes quite a while…It seems like if one person handled the money, one person scooped the ice, and one other person added the flavors they could get people in and out in half the time. Just a thought.
Joe L — Google review
A couple years ago I wrote the following.... Very good snow cone, probably the best in seaside. We also got a frozen custard which was absolutely heavenly. If you are in seaside, this is one of the better ice cream type shops there. Now, there is much more competition for snow cones. Additionally, I feel cheated when I visit there for a couple reasons. 1. They add a dollar tax for any credit card transactions under $20. 2. One time they really skimped on the juice. When I asked for a little bit more the person said "no", which is fine, but I found it kind of cheap given how much you are using for some ice and sugar water.
Rudy W — Google review
I got a regular peach and mango and it was huge! Great flavor choices they have a ton to choose from.
Anastasiya — Google review
Delicious shaved ice in seaside. Also try the frozen custard. The cookies and cream was very good! Get the vanilla frozen custard at bottom if shaved ice too. Get good!

Meltdown On 30A is a popular food truck on Airstream Row, known for its gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. The menu offers a variety of delicious options, making it difficult to choose just one. Customers rave about the flavorful sandwiches and tasty tomato soup. The food truck is also kid-friendly, making it a great option for families looking for casual dining experiences. Visitors appreciate the friendly service and reasonable prices, with some describing the experience as love at first bite.
Cute little Airstream in Seaside where we got a All American grilled cheese. One of the last shops to close down, the service was fine, and the grilled cheese was phenomenal. It took a while to be prepared, but after taking the first bite, I could tell why... They cook that grilled cheese low and slow, getting the exterior of the bread nice and crispy while leaving the inside light and fluffy. The cheese steamed up all gooey. My only regret is not getting a picture of the cheese pull.
West B — Google review
Had the caperse grilled cheese (Wow that rhymes I just realized) and oh my goodness! The balsamic vinegar with the tomato soup AND the tomato soup was incredible! Also, the food comparing to the other food trucks are a bit cheaper which is great for someone who doesn’t want to spend much money here. Anyway, definitely very close to being the best grilled cheese place I ever been to! Try this place!
Jackson F — Google review
What a cute stop along 30a. Who doesn’t like a gooey gelled cheese! We stepped out of our box dnd got the Brie and fig -split it with chips and it was enough. If your hungry a full sandwich is good! The Brie was so smooth and lots of fig spread made it savory/sweet!

Michael W — Google review
The young woman who took my order was very rude. She just stared at me blankly when I walked up, as if I were bothering her. I ordered the strawberry goat cheese sandwich with no prosciutto. She added prosciutto & charged me extra, which I only figured out later. She knew she had made a mistake bc she told the associate making the food about her mistake and to make it without, but did not bother to resolve the matter of overcharging me. She got my name completely wrong, and when my food was ready, she called out the wrong name, asked me if I was that person, I said no & she shrugged & walked away. Ten minutes later, I go to see what’s taking so long, find out that she messed my name up, overcharged for my sandwich, knew my food was ready, and didn’t bother to say perhaps she had misheard my name but that my food was indeed ready or anything. Then when I open the sandwich, there was just about a teaspoon of strawberry jam on the entire sandwich. $15 for a $9 sandwich that wasn’t even made correctly. I was so irritated at that point that it was not worth asking for my money back.

Meltdown is a tasty spot in one of the Airstream food trailers along 30A in picture-perfect Seaside, FL. The atmosphere is top notch. Nothing beats looking out over the ocean as you chow down on a comforting grilled cheese. You order at the window and then await the gooey, melty goodness. I got the Five Cheese and it did not disappoint. Crunchy grilled bread and five kinds of cheese making a statement. Nice stop for a bite along 30A.

Mr. Gyro Hero is a popular food truck located at the Airstream Row in Seaside, which has been a favorite at the Seaside Farmers Market for quite some time. The friendly staff and excellent service make it stand out, with customers praising the delicious food and generous portions. Visitors highly recommend trying their breakfast gyro and classic gyro lunch, as well as their Mediterranean burger with feta and fries.
The best Mediterranean food we have found anywhere on the gulf coast! The meats are wonderfully spiced and flavorful. All of the sides and other dishes have a lot of care packed into them. The salad is so fresh and loaded with toppings, and that dressing is fantastic. Do yourself a favor and grab a side of babaganoush as well. They have perfected it with a smooth smokiness that is hard to replicate. Stop on by if you're in the area!
Zachariah W — Google review
Great lunch! The chicken was perfectly cooked — juicy, tender, and nicely grilled. The rice was fluffy and aromatic, making a great match with the meat. The fresh salad with vegetables, olives, and feta cheese added lightness and balance to the meal. The sauce was also a perfect complement to both the chicken and the salad. The portion was generous, looked appetizing, and tasted delicious. Definitely ordering again!

I’m from Kansas City and used to Kansas City BBQ. This was definitely not it but really good. Wife and I had the brisket nachos. The portions were good with good flavor. Was not real bbq brisket but more like roast but very good nonetheless. I would say picture good beachside bbq with good portions of cheese and toppings and you won’t be far off. The atmosphere was great with lots to do in the area. I will definitely be back to try more options.
Michael S — Google review
Only went here because the mac n cheese looked really good, and to my surprise, it was like the mac n cheese that has shells in cheese (I forgot the name) and the seasoning on-top was perfect for the creamy mac n cheese. Also, the service was great! Very friendly staff here! Oh and also, I have to give props to the sandal number wait thing, it is very unique! Unfortunately, I will not be coming back due to the high prices.

Amazing place, amazing food and owner was great to meet and chat with. And he was even from Nebraska. If you are in the area don’t forget to stop in for food and a Bushwacker. We will definitely be back.

This is what $11.50 will get you for potato salad. The food is decent but not worth the price. This place is 100% a tourist trap and wouldn’t recommend spending your money here unless you like overpriced food.
Jaden B — Google review
Be aware that they add 15% without telling you for a tip for taking your order. Also the brisket isn't brisket. It's shredded beef that isn't really smoked at all and then the nachos are horrible! Bad tortilla chips and the beans, sour cream and cheese are all mushed together. All for $19.95! Portion was meh and very disappointing.

Customer service was wonderful. Ladies were so friendly! I’m from KC and I can say the food here is quality BBQ! Sauces were great too. Will come back.

It's a BBQ truck near at Central Square in Seaside. Guy makes the best frozen Pina colada. I thought it would be out of a machine when I ordered.... Nope. Made it right there in front of me at the window. Hit the spot. Had the smoked tuna sandwich. It was good, just know there are large chunks of tuna in the tuna salad. Husband had the BBQ during a different trip and he proclaimed this the best food truck in the row.

We had the most delicious lunch here. It was so tasty!! The lobster roll was perfect, full of meat. The macaroni & cheese was so good. The blackened chicken sandwich had so much flavor & the coleslaw on it was crunchy. We got to meet one of the owners, Ashley, who was so friendly & welcoming. We already can’t wait to go back.

Super good food right in the heart of seaside. The tuna dip was unreal, the grouper sandwich similarly good, and overall a really delicious meal but on the pricier end. Would definitely recommend getting it to go and taking it down to the beach. Cocktails too, as long as it's in a plastic cup you can take it to the beach.

We stopped here for lunch during a bike ride for fish tacos and gumbo. We both thought everything was great! The seating area facing the ocean was so beautiful. Our bartender and server were friendly and responsive. Mr. M said his gumbo was the best one so far on this trip; the fish and shrimp in the tacos was so fresh! The margaritas were well balanced. Yum. We will definitely be back.

Lobster roll and Mac and cheese are a MUST. Do not skip this! Beyond worth the price and easily shareable. Cucumber mocktail is refreshing and perfect on a hot day. Especially when pregnant 😅

This was our first time here and it did not disappoint! We ate at the beach side bar and received the best service from Samantha! She was so attentive to our 3yo son! She even made him a watermelon mocktail with a fresh watermelon slice and gave him a little cup of fruit while we waited for our meal! I had the Cobb salad with blackened shrimp and lobster! Amazing! My husband had the lobster melt which he really enjoyed? Oh and the watermelon margarita was yummy! Samantha made it for me less sweet since I enjoy more tart Rita’s! Oh and the Mac and cheese and grilled chicken for my little boy was delicious as well! We will definitely be back!
Brittney M — Google review
Food was delicious... We got up charged for sides when it was implied it came with the meal. So essentially paying $40 for a grouper sandwich with no drink or side is wild!

4 lobster roles, 2 Sprites, 1 beer, 1 cocktail, and all that can be yours for $278.00. I get it, it’s a seasonal place with tons of overhead. That said, based on principle alone, I will never be visiting again. My entire week’s grocery bill for a family of 4 was just $20 more than that. The story of Arthur Blank’s stadium food price strategy came to mind. His inner circle thought he was crazy for reducing costs on stadium food, but when he made it more affordable, his net revenue rose by 20%.
Aubrey C — Google review
We ordered the lobster rolls at $45 each! For the price, you would expect a top notch lobster roll. They were the worst lobster rolls we've ever had. The lobster was rubbery and dry, no butter on the roll or mixed in with the lobster or even on the side. VERY overpriced for what we got. The mac and cheese and oysters were not bad, but would NOT recommend the lobster rolls!

Post church Sunday brunch here is the best with fresh dishes beautifully prepared and served with genuine hospitality. It draws a high clientele that appreciates great food great views and an easy coastal vibe that never feels pretentious.

Our server Galina was fantastic! She helped me choose gf/df foods and they were all mouth-watering delicious. We even ordered some food to go! I would reorder all of the foods I ate and then some.

This place is beautiful and the view itself is worth some of the food not being that good. I had the shrimp and grits and it was very weird. It wasn’t bad, but also wasn’t amazing - S&G have to be amazing. It was tomatoy and had some pieces of meat, not what I’m used to, specially compared to what you get in NOLA. Our waiter was a little bad too. She would disappear at times and we had to wait a looong time to ask for something. The bartender was great. The rest of the food my group ordered was very good-hush puppies were super tasty. I recommend this place. The service and the food not being what I expected I think is a minor thing that just needs some adjustments. Thank you for your attention to this matter TFP

This place was incredible. Wasn’t there for drinks and happy hour prices were really good and reasonable had an incredible view. One of the best restaurants on the water in 30 a. Highly recommend it happy hour. I had some really good deals little limited.

We went here after seeing the good reviews and the beachside scenery. The scenery did not disappoint and most of the food was very good! We highly recommend the mac and cheese and the bacon and pimento. We also really liked the shrimp and grits. They mentioned a new menu was started only the last week and I think they have some things to work through. I also think the fry oil was dirty, all the fried items were kind of sub par in taste and quality. I also had to send back a piece of fried chicken because it was 80% breading with almost no chicken. All of the salt brined chicken was served extremely dry. We were also served a $40 beef filet cooked well done all through the middle. Having to send entrees back and wait another 15 minutes ruined the main course in my opinion and I have rated as such.

Clothing store
The SEASIDE Style® is a popular clothing store offering a range of simple, beach-inspired apparel for men, women, and kids. It's known for its iconic logo tees and sweatshirts available in various colors, sizes, and styles. In addition to classic tees, the store also offers unique items such as candles, tumblers, towels, and beach essentials. Customers appreciate the laid-back atmosphere and friendly staff.
The Seaside Style is one of my favorite shops in Seaside! Such a great selection of Seaside clothing as well as a great variety of gift options for family members. I’ve shopped here multiple times, and it’s usually very busy when I go. The store is very well organized and easy to browse through even when it is crowded. I’ve always had a great experience every time I have visited, and the staff members are all very friendly. I highly recommend shopping at The Seaside Style, and can’t wait to shop here again!

I’ve spent the past few years battling my younger sister for our mom’s Seaside Style sweatshirt that she bought around 2010 because of how comfortable it is. I was finally visiting Florida near Seaside with some friends this summer and I insisted that we take a day to stroll the shops/restaurants and, most importantly, to finally buy my own Seaside sweater that was going to last forever.. I got the sweater, but it’s already covered in snags after just wearing it for one day. Classic and comfy, but expensive and a bit disappointing when it comes to quality.
Maddie H — Google review
Worker (Sydney) was very inconsiderate about her position in the store. She is a cashier and yet felt that she had the authority to give me a 10% discount. This is unacceptable and I am very disturbed by her ego and believe she needs to take her role seriously.
Reece G — Google review
We love this place and we stop by here for new gear every time we are in town. My only wish is that they would have a bit more variety with their inventory...meaning that I can go on their website and find more colors than I can in the store. Still a great place to visit while in Seaside!
Ben M — Google review
This is where they sell all the seaside swag you see people wearing. I’ll say this. If you want to get anything, come wait 30 minutes before the store opens and be quick. Otherwise you will be waiting to get inside and then waiting again to pay for around an hour. It is VERY expensive here. Everything is a seaside branded version of a designer product. Great quality, fun souvenirs, just know what to expect before you walk in.
Daniel P — Google review
I'm really disappointed with the customer service I received during my recent visit. From the moment we walked in, the employees seemed uninterested in helping us. When we asked about sizing and fit, we were met with dismissive attitudes and a general sense that we were bothering them. It felt like our questions were an inconvenience, and we were made to feel unwelcome. This kind of service really detracts from the overall shopping experience, and it's unlikely I'll be returning anytime soon.
Peyton B — Google review
Purchased an expensive sweatshirt (didn’t check price before purchasing …big mistake) only To arrive back home to wash prior to wearing and end up with a faded logo. Called and email my concerns and received a less than adequate response from Store Manager Brenda. Jason (or justin or whoever he was) was the go between and his “ you need to bring it in for us to see, thats the nature if the store” Was very condescending since most of their customers live too far away to drive there for a return. All Brenda had to do was act like a manager and expedite a return label and send me a new top. Purchased on a Friday. Washed on Sunday and the label faded. 118.00!! Think twice before going there due to poor customer service and very overpriced product. One gentle cycle and its looks used and faded.

United States Post Office

Post office
The United States Post Office in Seaside, located at 99 Central Square, Santa Rosa Beach, FL, 34259, is not just a historic building but also an essential part of the city's identity. It is considered one of the most photographed post offices in the country and has played a significant role in shaping the community. Despite its age, it remains a resilient symbol of Seaside's history and endurance.
In an age where efficiency often trumps aesthetics, the United States Post Office in Seaside stands as a delightful exception to the rule. Nestled in the heart of this picturesque town, it offers more than just a place to send and receive mail—it's a testament to Seaside's commitment to charm and elegance. From its quaint architecture to its meticulously chosen color palette, this isn't your run-of-the-mill postal establishment. It feels as though it was plucked out of a storybook, a place where one half expects to find letters sprinkled with fairy dust or postcards from realms yet undiscovered. While most post offices serve as a mere pitstop in our daily routines, the Seaside branch invites you to linger, to admire, and to soak in its endearing ambiance. In a world that often forgets the value of the little things, this post office is a gentle reminder of how joy can be found in the most unexpected places. Five stars, not just for its functionality, but for its undeniable charisma.
Danny V — Google review
This is just a tiny post office. Is very cute. Beisides being photographic, it is perhaps more useful to people without postal needs as a meeting location or a marker for the nice air-conditioned restrooms located directly behind the building.
Chris O — Google review
Seaside it’s been an amazing town in Florida, and every years is even kinder
Lizza G — Google review
I grew up here and worked around seaside my whole childhood life. This post office has been through so much! It is the reason seaside exists at all! It was originally built before the town was even conceptualized, and people began gravitating towards it and building around it. It has been featured in movies like the Truman Show, it has weathered hurricanes, it has been picked up by a crane and dropped during the moving process only to survive and thrive where it stands proudly today. This is the icon of a community that grew from nothing into a breathtaking hub of culture and art. Stop by and enjoy it if you have the time.
Daniel P — Google review
Clerk behind counter was rude when I told her I needed a fixed rate envelope. She acted like I was a bother. Another lady came in about her box, clerk was extremely rude to her. If she hates her job that much maybe she doesn't need to work there
Crystal S — Google review
While the post office moved from the center of the plaza it makes a nice view block to the new public bathrooms behind it. You'll also find bike parking behind the post office at its new location 99 Central Square, Seaside, FL 32459. Inside I found Pat who while I didn't need anything was friendly to talk to and offer any help should I need any.
Johnathan P — Google review
I think this is the the prettiest post office I’ve ever seen. It’s so quaint and delightful. If I lived here in seaside I would intentionally go to this post office because it makes me feel like I’m at Disney World in Orlando. You should check it out. It’s a lovely place for a photo with your family. There is an ice cream place close by, and an Italian restaurant as well. Every time I’m in seaside, I go to the post office to get a picture mad with my kids. Don’t hesitate to go see it! You’ll surely love it. If they had an award for the best looking post office I imagine this one would win every year!

Cabana by The Seaside Style is an iconic open-air market located right on the beach in Seaside. It offers a wide range of beach fashion, including caftans, casual wear, swimsuits, accessories, and shoes. The displays are always stunning and shopping under umbrellas in the glorious Seaside sun is a special experience. Visitors have found high-end quality apparel and unique selections at Cabana, representing the beauty of 30a.
The CUTEST store!!! Definitely a favorite spot of mine to visit while in 30A. The stock is to die for & very trendy. I had the best experience with an associate named Grace! She pulled a bunch of outfits for me that I fell in love with & helped me pick out accessories to match as well. She was super helpful & made the experience AMAZING! Definitely coming again!

Cabana by The Seaside Style is one of my favorite shops in Seaside, and in 30A in general! They have such a great selection of a lot of my favorite clothing brands as well as an amazing selection of jewelry, shoes, and accessories. It’s an adorable store! I’ve shopped here for years and usually have an amazing experience. The employees are usually very friendly and helpful when it comes to finding the perfect outfit while on vacation. I was there a couple of days ago, and unfortunately noticed a decline in the welcoming and friendly atmosphere that I usually experience when I shop here. When entering the store, I grabbed an item from the outside sale rack to bring inside to purchase. In doing so, I set the alarm off. As I entered the main entrance of the store, an employee standing to the right side of the entrance as I went in the store rolled her eyes and seemed more concerned and annoyed that I set the alarm off than she was at greeting me as I entered the store. Usually everyone is so welcoming when I shop here, so I was thrown off by her demeanor. Other than this experience, I love Cabana by The Seaside Style!

I walked into this clothing store yesterday and tried on a few things and was about to leave when Tammie who works there asked if she could bring me a few things to try. I was about to walk out not buying a thing until she brought me some items she pulled. I loved everything she pulled and ended up leaving with a bag full of cute new pieces. Tammie was so sweet and funny and helpful! Great shopping experience 😁
Ashley B — Google review
Unfortunately looking at other reviews this is a common thing. My wife and I had a personal shopper. Unlike the designer stores this person did not talk to us just obviously followed and watched us. This was the one store in seaside that we left without purchasing anything. Perhaps if our personal shopper had introduced herself and helped we would have. If you have a theft issue don't punish your honest customers get cameras and better loss prevention. Or train your staff on how to be real personal shoppers we have had great experiences with those.
David M — Google review
This store is gorgeous with a unique selection. When it first opened they had more clothing that fit a better range of prices, now it’s almost all very high end -but definitely beautiful! For the comments about being treated suspiciously, i believe it’s an unfortunate reality that there are lots of shoplifters and they have to be extremely vigilant. I love visiting Cabana every time I’m in Seaside, I hope they continue to offer a wide selection of lovely things!
Jessica H — Google review
The employees here are extremely rude. Instead of being any sort of asset to the business, they actually opt to condescendingly stare at customers as if not working in customer service. Lots of cute items, but I felt far more like an intruder than a guest.
Amy R — Google review
The girls working here have weird energy. I walked in and they just stared at me, looked me up and down, then went back to folding clothes and talking to each other. Not sure why they are working in retail in a vacation destination where people go to spend money and have a good time. Would love to give this store another chance if they reevaluated who they have working there. There are a ton of locals here with great work ethic who are more than happy to treat people with basic respect. Judging by the other bad review it seems like the employees take pleasure and have made a habit out of making customers feel out of place. I wanted to get out of there immediately.

Fun store to look at stuff with the kids but the prices are outrageous. It’s a bougie store in a bougie area where most everything is overpriced. See for yourself if you don’t believe me!
Jordan L — Google review
Gabe is the kindest worker I have ever met, the first day we came he gladly greeted us in and even gave us a duckies stick on tattoo, since then we have came back everyday and he still treats us with the same respect he did on the first day, if it were up to me I would give him a raise since I have come back everyday to get a new rubber duck since I knew Gabe would be here to brighten my day every time.

It’s like Disneyland prices met a daycare meltdown. $68 for a stuffed llama and the soundtrack is nonstop toddler screams in surround sound. I aged 10 years in 10 minutes. Would only recommend if you hate peace and love chaos.

Nigel's Bananas is a popular spot in Seaside, offering a variety of frozen banana treats. Customers can choose from different toppings and flavors, such as the 'Beach Bum' with chocolate, coconut, and caramel. The store provides comfortable covered seating outside and is located near a beautiful courtyard. Visitors can enjoy fast and friendly service while watching their desserts being created.
We were a bit skeptical of the hype on such a unique concept, and chose some relatively simple options to be safe, but it turned out to be fantastic! We tried a dipped banana without toppings and a dipped key lime pie with Biscoff drizzle. Both were great, but some coconut flakes on the banana would have made it fantastic - next time! Plus, the service was great and the quaint area adjacent to the shop made for a great place to eat the treats.

I don’t even know where to start. It’s a “bananas dipped in chocolate” shop. Those are two of my favorite things in life so I’m down for this. I got one and added sprinkles to it. It was huge and way too much for my daughter and I to share. It was pretty great. Only thing I didn’t like about it was how hard it was but I assume that’s because the banana is cold and the chocolate is hot. No getting around that. The vibe inside is cool. It’s small but has outdoor seating. They also have a few drinks. Pricing is fair and staff is very nice. Pretty cool place!

Go to Nigel’s for a unique dessert experience like no one else offers. Combinations were tasty and cravings were satisfied. Pros: - Made fresh to order: get to see it be made right infront of you - A variety of flavor combinatons - Friendly staff; quick and efficient - In a cute area with lots of outdoor seating Cons: - The line is long, but it moves fast (plus that means it’s good right?!) - No indoor seating. You grab and go.

Review: Negal's Bananas, Seaside, FL My recent visit to Negal's Bananas in Seaside was a delightful experience that truly satisfied my sweet tooth. The frozen banana coated in rich, smooth chocolate was absolutely wonderful—creamy, flavorful, and perfectly chilled, making for a decadent treat. In addition, the frozen cheesecake was equally impressive. Topped with a generous caramel drizzle and sprinkled with coconut, it offered a perfect balance of sweetness and texture. Both desserts hit the spot and provided a satisfying ending to our day. Negal's Bananas is a charming and peaceful place, ideal for enjoying a sweet escape in a relaxed atmosphere. The quality of the treats and the serene surroundings make it a must-visit for anyone seeking a delightful dessert experience in Seaside. Overall, I highly recommend Negal's Bananas for anyone looking for delicious, high-quality desserts in a tranquil setting. It’s a true gem for satisfying your sweet cravings.

What a great concept. Absolutley loved it. Great options and very reasonable price. And theres a lovely setting outside to go and enjoy your bannana. They serve it in a cardboard bowl which is a great idea and helps prevent any mess. You got a try these - you don't regret it!

Hidden from the crowd a nice tranquil area of seaside. The taste is bliss. Things to choose from frozen banana, cheesecake, key lime pie all dipped in milk chocolate and covered in your choice of peanuts toasted coconut or several other choices. $8 each.

These frozen bananas so insanely good. The service is always great, and the people working there are kind. I have loved every flavor I’ve ever tried. This is definitely the place to stop if you like frozen bananas. But they have other frozen options too, so you don’t have to love bananas. PS: it would be cool if you guys could make a banana pudding frozen banana version with those vanilla wafer cookies. It’s okay if you don’t

It's an ideal spot to unwind with a cup of freshly brewed coffee or catch up on work using their wireless access. A Gem of a Coffee Experience at Amavida Visiting Amavida Coffee both in Rosemary Beach and Seaside turned out to be a highlight of my Florida trip. The ambiance of both locations is a perfect blend of comfort and artistic flair, making each visit a unique experience. Their commitment to sustainability is evident not just in their delicious organic coffee, but also in the range of sustainable products like the sweatshirts, which are not only eco-friendly but stylish too. The latte in Rosemary Beach was crafted to perfection, offering the right balance of espresso and milk - a true delight for any coffee lover. Meanwhile, the Seaside location impressed me with its delightful cheese Danish and scrumptious macarons, each bite better than the last. The variety and quality of their pastries are commendable. What truly sets Amavida apart, though, is the beautiful art that adorns their walls, adding an enriching layer to the overall experience. It's not just a coffee shop; it's a celebration of local culture and artistry. I highly recommend Amavida Coffee to anyone looking for exceptional coffee, delightful treats, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Amavida is a must-visit destination.

Thus far the best coffee in Panama City Beach! Great job to the owner and workers of the store! Friendlier atmosphere then most places around... Now for the coffee.. Espresso I had was more floral in taste; however, paired with almond milk it works brilliantly. Brings out the floral notes and a very great cup to enjoy. I would suggest you get a small no more then 12 oz of any milk product and a minimum of 2 shots ideally 3 to make the flavor of the espresso pop. Smooth and very enjoyable unless I find another spot I will be coming by here for the duration of my stay.

Cocina Cubana is a popular spot located close to the center of Seaside and the beach. Looking through all the food stands and Cuban caught my eye. I had the Cuban sandwich on sweet bread and it was great. I also got some fried plantains and they weren't very flavorful but the dip it came with was amazing.

Vegan and vegetarian friendly! I was looking for some delicious fresh food with lots of flavor after a day at the beach, and this little Cuban spot delivered. So yummy and filling. Tostones just like my Mami makes!

Service was great and with a SMILE. Pork rinds were absolutely perfect. The Cubano was underwhelming. Bread & butter pickles were out of place and the meat was just ordinary. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day and I was really looking forward to it.

Fresh and flavorful. I went a few times during my my month on 30A. The bowls are great. My favorite base was the ropa vieja with yellow rice. I liked all of the toppings; the Brussels sprouts were probably my favorite. I also really enjoyed the Cubano with spicy mustard. Outside seating close to the center of Seaside and close to the beach.

Had the bowl $14 was enough for my daughter and I to share. Can cola $3 We had yellow rice, flank steak, black beans and chimchurri sauce...yum!

Let me start off by saying their Frojito (frozen mojito) is delightful! The perfect, refreshing beach drink! Cocina Cubana took their own little spin on the Cuban sandwich - thinly sliced bread and butter pickles with a spicy mustard in place of traditional dill pickles and classic yellow mustard - or - you can get it old school traditional! The pork was very flavorful and tender. The bread was both soft and pressed just enough on the outside. Their bowls are also awesome! Love their Pollo con Mojo, Lechon Asado, Ropa Vieja, Black Beans, and Maduros! ☕️ If you’re tired try a Cafecito - it’ll perk you right up! They also cater to Gluten Free and Vegan! 🇨🇺 Overall a really delicious Cuban restaurant with many options in the heart of Seaside, as reviewed by this Cuban 30A local!

Fine dining restaurant
Surfing Deer is an upscale beachfront restaurant with a focus on New American cuisine and seafood. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, including Crispy Vegan Wings, Clothesline Bacon, Bloody Mary Oysters, Caramelized Sea Scallops, Chargrilled Lamb, and Havana Grouper. The ambience is described as having a fine dining feel while also being laid-back. Customers recommend making reservations due to the restaurant's popularity.
Surfing Deer is a trendy spot with great food and a good wine list. We were happy with everything we received. Every dish has its own specific spice and flavor. They also have a nice cocktail menu to go with the appetizers. The tuna was seared and spiced portably the best out of all of the places we tried it. We did the dinner family style and I fully recommend doing it that way because there is so much to try. Service was also very attentive and friendly.

What an amazing place to eat. They are so friendly and accommodating to diners and their kids. A great place to go for casual or fine dining. Go later in the evening for a romantic and high end atmosphere. The food and service were impeccable. Price point definitely on the higher end but you can keep it economically depending on what you order. This plays out true in every restaurant. Surfing Deer is a goto for my family on each vacation.

I honestly don’t know why I haven’t checked out Surfing Deer sooner! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed with the vibe.. it’s spacious, relaxed, and the perfect place to enjoy a great meal. For dinner, I decided to go with two shareables, and I’m so glad I did. First, I had the Seared Yellowfin Tuna, which came with black rice, pineapple, and kimchi. The tuna was out of this world!! or maybe even orgasmic. Seriously, it was one of those dishes you eat slow because you just want to keep it in your mouth longer. The combination of the black rice, pineapple, and kimchi was a perfect pairing. The flavors all came together so well. I highly recommend this dish. Even if you’re someone who doesn’t usually eat fish.. you’re totally missing out if you don’t try this. Next, I tried the Tuscan Calamari Steak. It was okay.. decent, but it didn’t wow me like the tuna did. It could use more flavor, but I’m guessing that’s because the yellowfin tuna set the bar so high that this dish just didn’t stand a chance. The service was friendly, and the vibe was just right. The space was open and inviting. Honestly, I regret not coming here sooner, but I’ll definitely be back to try more.

My wife and I celebrated our 20 year anniversary in Seaside this year. We chose Surfing Deer for our dinner spot. The food was delicious and they made us feel seen and cared for. It was an enjoyable experience and we hope to be back in the future!

This is one of my favorite restaurant experiences in the 30A area. We went here on whim. When we arrived we were greeted with valet parking. After a short wait we were seated, in a nice quiet corner outside. The food was absolutely delicious as well as the mocktails!

Food, atmosphere, and service exceeded expectations. We've driven by many times on vacation and I figured it might be an underwhelming experience. I was wrong. We'll be back. Thanks to David for taking care of us on our date night.

Been coming to 30a for a few years now and Surfing Deer has been an amazing surprise. Food is phenomenal and atmosphere (inside and patio) are amazing and unique. I really appreciate the well thought out menu. Lots of meat and seafood options, but still plenty of options for vegetarians (and vegans) like me! The Vegan stir fry noodles and Vegan Korean BBQ wings were highlights! Also service was perfect. Highly recommend. We will be back next year!

The service and the ambiance of this place are FANTASTIC, and I'm sure we just experienced a few flukes... The hostess and our server were fantastic, and he was attentive throughout the entire meal. We ordered a drink that came with vodka instead of gin and our server quickly had it remade, and the remake was fantastic. We ordered the Clothesline Bacon (absolutely phenomenal, especially with their beans and red pepper peaches), and Scallops for appetizers, the scallops arrived cold but I didn't want to bother them with a second remake, as they were flavorful and perfectly cooked. For entrees, we had the Local Grouper and the Short Rib, and our pick of the night was definitely the Short Rib. Overall, the experience was good.
