While this is a great kid spot-don’t forget the kid in you and your family. Laughter and new experiences are ageless! I’ve been with my elderly aunt (who has dementia) twice since 2024. We had the best time driving through the park. Many of the animals are enormous and intrusive if you have your windows down, but we expected that and welcomed their curiosity/desire for the food that we had purchased. My last visit on 9/14/25 included my uncle. He kept commenting how impressed he was with everything he saw and had a great time feeding the animals and riding in the back…he’s usually the driver 🤩 The grounds are well kept the animals are healthy and viable, clearly thriving. Virginia Safari Park is an amazing way to experience exotic animals in a convenient fashion. There is a walk through zoo area that houses many more animals and leads to food and sweet treats too. They even have a vacuum located as you exit to clean the pellets from your vehicle. Truly a thoughtful company offering a joyful experience.

What a fun time. We showed up around 3:45pm and began the safari drive. We purchased four feed tubs at the entrance gate along with our tickets. There are alot of llamas at the front and they are very cute but alittle greedy. We were gone with our 4 tubs before the first bend of the drive. Woops. Definitely would get 4 tubs a person next time. Loved the village part the most myself honestly. I am such a lover of birds and had so much fun feeding the budgies. Do be careful with them as they swarm you for those sticks if its just acouple of you inside. I had atleast 20 on me at once. They also like to lick the sweat on your arms and sometimes nibble. Its not too painful of a bite but it can lightly break skin so be cautious.
Heart S — Google review
Very neat experience with the drive thru safari and the walking zoo area. You definitely want to buy at minimum 4 buckets of feed because the Lamas will bite onto the bucket and steal the entire thing in the first 15 feet of driving in. Was shocked how many different type of animals there are very cool! We got to watch the elks bugle that was pretty amazing as well. The bird enclosure where you feed the parakeets was a blast, we could have stayed in there for so long. A great place for all ages. Definitely recommend a visit, you will be happy you did it.
Felicia L — Google review
Unbelievable place. We had so much fun. Buy 4 cups of food and make sure you save some for later in the drive. At the entrance there were a bunch of a animals that mob the cars coming in. The bigger animals will try and take your cup, it hilarious. Once you get one cup empty, use that to feed by putting a little in each time. Be prepared for slobber and hair all over your vehicle. Some of the animals will put there whole head inside the vehicle if you let them. Strongly recommend for anyone. We have 2 kids, 4 and 6, and we had them sit with us up front. Park was beautiful and we'll kept.
Andrew K — Google review
My husband and I had the absolute best time doing the drive thru alone . Make sure you buy 4 buckets of feed for the animals. We bought 2 not knowing exactly how fast that would go because there are so many animals to feed. Its a three mile loop, and we were out halfway. I was so sad we ran out. The animals are so friendly. We would make this trip again! 10 stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
Natasha D — Google review
Honestly one of the best parks I've ever been to and I have traveled to many. The scenery is gorgeous, so many animals, the safari drive is long and worth it. Of course olan to have a very messy car after. I advise to pack some sandwiches and snacks. So much more to see after the drive. Walking around is nice too, bathrooms had changing tables which are greatly appreciated. They wete pretty clean as well. We went on a Sunday and it was not overly packed which I also appreciated. 100% recommend and plan for a full day, lots to see!

We have nothing but AMAZING things to say about the Virginia Safari Park. There are two sections to this park. You can do the drive through safari and then there is a walking area for the petting zoo. We did both. Once we got through the gate of the drive through safari, there were so many animals greeting us wanting us to feed them. The only thing we will say is make sure you have hand sanitizer in your car and maybe some wipes to clean up spit from the animals. The animals were friendly, some allowed us to pet them while we fed them. They would stop your car and then stick their heads in the windows. We loved feeding them. Then on the walking trail, there are so many other animals. You can feed giraffes, goats, and birds. They also have lions here and penguins. The penguins are South African penguins so they are used to heat. The lions are behind a cage, you can see them but not interact with them like the other animals. As parents of a newly potty trained toddler, we did love that there were many bathrooms on site. The even have a gift store here. The staff is so friendly and we had a GREAT time. We will need to return.
Patrick C — Google review
My husband and I did a day trip on a Monday from DC for this drive-through safari. It was well worth it for the experience! Recommend you buy the tickets in advance to not hold up the line. Bought 4 buckets of feed. Remember that it’s a 3 mile loop and not to give most of the feed in the first mile like we did! 😂 Be careful with the one pictured because he will yank it out of your hand! Hold the bucket with both hands and take turns on who feeds them so it’s not overstimulating. There were more animals in the “Village” including the cheetah, penguins and giraffes. I’d recommend asking what time are the animal encounters/feedings and plan accordingly. We had to try to giraffes twice because the first time they didn’t come to us. Extend your arm out with the romaine lettuce dangling to get their attention. The cafe in the village was closed for some reason Overall, it was a great experience and would recommend.

Dinosaur Kingdom II is an unusual attraction located in Natural Bridge, Virginia. Visitors can explore wooded trails and witness Union Army soldiers battling large model dinosaurs. The entryway features a Confederate soldier fighting a T-Rex atop a vintage railroad car, setting the tone for the quirky experience. Families can enjoy a water gun fight with Big Foot and go on a nature walk to discover various dinosaur scenes throughout the park. It's recommended to bring bug spray and wear comfortable shoes for this outdoor adventure.
This is a fantastic place to visit. Not only is it incredibly cool, the staff are very kind, engaging, and take the time to give all sorts of tidbits of neat info. My 15 yo said it's a 8/10, my 6 yo said it's a billiontrillionand500/10, and I say it's an absolute must if you are in the area.

This is a place unlike many others. I wanted to take the kids out to do something different, wacky, and memorable. Dinosaur kingdom was it, it has the vibes of a family run theme park with a little bit of history and a little bit of fun be sure to check out the water gun fights with the Sasquatch. It’s a fun time and I’m sure you will make great memories with your family by going.

Four of us just visited on July 19th and loved it. The staff and Mark himself were super nice and were very helpful. As an author myself (from WV), I can really appreciate the vision here. The comic books, the land created here, etc. Really good stuff!

For those who appreciate the peculiar and offbeat, this is a must-visit. More than just a simple attraction, it's a deep dive into an alternate reality where the lines between weird and wonderful are beautifully blurred. The lore is absolutely immaculate, and the stories come to life in the most unexpected ways—from water gun battles with Bigfoot to a dinosaur haunted house that doubles as a wedding chapel. Step into this strange world, where every shadow in the woods holds a new secret.

Quirky, odd and entertaining. The beginning was a little too scary for my 2 1/2 year old grandson, once past that he had a great time. A little pricey for what they offer.

Our first time visiting and it was wonderful. So much to look at and we got to meet Mark!! Kids loved the Water fight with the Yeti and we got a riot out of marrying a dinosaur. Thank you so much

Just amazing...... So much going on here and so much to do. And once you buy a ticket. You can do whatever you want as long as you want. Be warned it's very easy to miss stuff

Unique Experience, But Not for Everyone We visited on a weekday, and it wasn’t crowded, which was nice. This place is best suited for families who enjoy mystery or slightly spooky adventures. My kids were a bit scared, so it may not be for everyone. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to finish the walk-through because it started raining. We paid about $53 for 1 adult and 2 kids, which felt a little pricey considering how short our visit was—but we were already there. I’m giving this place 4 stars because of the kind lady who greeted us and took our payment. She was very understanding and even offered to let us come back in after the rain stopped. Her kindness really stood out and made the experience more positive despite the weather.

Natural Bridge Zoo offers an interactive and wild experience in Virginia, allowing visitors to come face-to-face with exotic and endangered animals. The zoo is home to a variety of creatures including African elephants, mountain lions, Bengal tigers, zebras, ostriches, alligators, and pythons. Despite initial hesitations from some visitors due to reviews expressing concerns about the animals' well-being, many were pleasantly surprised by the close proximity to the animals and their apparent good care.
The reviews had us extremely hesitant to take our nieces and nephew. However, we stopped by on our way through and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed the fact that there were animals within minimal walking distance of each other. Yes, the animals are in cages, but all the animals appeared well taken care and the staff was friendly. A majority of the animals appeared to have adequate room to roam around. Our nieces and nephews appreciated being able to be so close to the animals. They were actually bored at the national zoo. So this was nice for them. We would recommend this as a stop if you’re passing by and want something to do with your little kids.
Corey M — Google review
I have always enjoyed occasionally stopping at this Zoo, as the only downfall is there aren’t that many animals here to look at. The ones they have are beautiful, and it’s still a relaxing experience! I am a huge Giraffe lover, so they are my main reason for coming here but I always enjoy the walk around to see every other animal. I don’t believe the price is worth it considering it not many animals, and the elephant is not always available to ride. The elephant does seem extremely unhappy to my opinion, but that’s just my opinion. As long as this place is open I will continue to return, due to always having a pleasant experience. This place has always received negative complaints about their animals not looking healthy, but I have never witnessed them look anything other than healthy. They may seem a little under the weather at times, but never nothing major. If you are thinking about visiting here, I would say go for it!

My boyfriend and I took a day trip to the Natural Bridge Zoo! Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. We went late in the afternoon so most of the animals were sleeping. You could still see a lot of the animals. Great customer service up front and lady there even let me hold a snake! One of my favorite animals! My boyfriend was determined to find all the ducks in the scavenger hunt they had going on. For a small roadside zoo, it’s okay!
Hallie N — Google review
Nice front desk worker she was very sweet. My daughter is 5 and loved looking for the ducks. They don’t have some of the animals listed online including the elephant so the website really needs updates. Shaded spaces though to sit so that was nice to get out of the hot sun. (Was 93 with feel like of 111) animals all looked nice just were probably hot so didn’t do much moving besides the deer and goats haha. Overall good but won’t make the almost 3 hour drive just for here again. Good to add to a trip of doing other stuff.
Brittany V — Google review
I find it very incompetent on the part of the administration that they do not publish the correct schedules on all platforms. Preparing children is complicated and very disappointing to arrive and find the place closed.
Karen S — Google review
This stop was a spur of the moment decision. It's so worth it. We really enjoyed seeing all of the animals. It was fun to feed them. Feeding the giraffes was really fun. They have feed available at the front desk. They also have bird feed on sticks. These are for the bird aviary. When you go into the aviary, the birds will land on you and eat from the sticks, so cool. On the weekends, they have elephant rides available, I would have done that.

The Natural Bridge General Store and Natty B Cafe, located in Natural Bridge Station, VA, is a charming family-owned establishment that offers a delightful combination of deli, cafe, and bakery. Visitors can indulge in homemade pastries and freshly brewed beverages while enjoying the warm hospitality of the staff. The store also provides an array of homemade goodies, groceries, and aromatic candles for patrons to explore.
Loved this little General Store. Came in for coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Located off the beaten path down a side road but definitely worth the drive. Super cute and peaceful. They didn't have the home fries because I came in too late for breakfast, but I chose bean salad instead (which was delicious and much more healthy anyway).

Amazing on all fronts. Absolutely astounding food. Solid pricing. Great location. Clean tables and bathrooms. Has a great selection of local goods like eggs and bacon as well as some produce. Their pastrami sandwich is to die for. Amazing bread and flavor packed meat. The Mac and cheese is a must try!! If you are anywhere near natural bridge this is the spot to stop.

Great, little country store with local items and friendly staff. We have been here twice and the food is always top notch. With being new to the area, glad to have found this little gem to frequent!

I would have loved to rate this places fresh food however when we came to visit for breakfast at 9:15 am they were closed.(They open at 9am) I think they kind of run on their own schedule is what the gas station down the road said. But if you stop by and they are closed just come back a little later in the day. Absolute Gem 💎 for an authentic country store. Would highly recommend.

Stopped for a breakfast sandwich that was absolutely delicious, on excellent homemade biscuits. Went back the next day for a grilled lunch sandwich (grilled veggie Reuben with sauerkraut instead of coleslaw) that was 20 out of 10 good. If the lemon blueberry mascarpone cake is offered, do not miss it!!!! Delicious fresh food like somebody's grandma would make.

Diner
The Pink Cadillac Diner is a nostalgia-themed eatery with 1950s decor and a vintage car outside. Despite some wait time due to low staffing, the atmosphere was cute and the staff were friendly. The menu offers American comfort food like chicken wraps, fish with sweet potato fries, and black bean burgers that are well-liked for their flavors. Some customers enjoyed the hot honey chicken and biscuits but found the biscuits too hard.
Great little diner just off of 81 near Natural Bridge State Park. It has a 50’s style retro theme with a bunch of Elvis memorabilia. The breakfast is quick and delicious. The menu is exactly what you’d expect from this type of restaurant and is really well executed.
Rob M — Google review
We had high hopes walking into this place—it looked cool from the outside. Unfortunately, that’s where the good impressions stopped. We waited 10–15 minutes just to get our drinks, and during that time we noticed how run-down everything looked. It clearly hasn’t been kept up. The place wasn’t busy at all either to fall on the excuse of our drinks coming late. The bathrooms were filthy, which immediately made us question the cleanliness of the kitchen. As for the food: my biscuit and gravy was bland and forgettable, though the biscuit itself was decent. My wife’s biscuit, on the other hand, was so overcooked she couldn’t even cut through the bottom of it. Our pancake showed up cold. How does a kitchen miss that badly on everything? The only thing worth mentioning was the coffee—it was drinkable. And that one cup is the only reason this place is getting a single star.
Nate T — Google review
Super cute place off of the highway! The majority of our group did the burgers, highly recommend them! The French fries and ice cream were just as amazing. I believe they are short staffed atm so we did have to wait for our food, but it was still really good. They have cute stickers and coffee cups that you can buy!

Great Salmon, fun 50's decor and music. Look for the Pink building and the Pink 1940's Cadillac on the side by the big tall sign. Plenty of parking, nice little motel right next door too! Beautiful gentle green hill across the little highway. Great waitress Shawna.
Carin M — Google review
This is under new ownership and it shows. We waited an hour for food. I ordered beef tips and mashed potatoes and house salad. The beef tips I couldn’t even eat because it was full of gristle. Every bite i took i had to pull out of my mouth because there was hardly any meat. The mashed potatoes were dry and appeared like they were sitting under a warming light for a while. This meal was $25. My husband got a chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. It was a premade patty that was fried. Had no taste, IHOP made a better chicken fried steak. Our salads were fresh but the chunks of cucumber were just too much. For two of us it was $52 for hardly any food and a long wait. We have eaten here for many years during our travels and will not be stopping in again. When the locals aren’t coming in anymore you know the restaurant has went bad.
S G — Google review
This diner was a great find, super convenient right off the freeway, which makes it an ideal stop whether you’re traveling or just looking for a fun dining experience. The service was friendly and efficient, and the whole vibe of the place was welcoming. The tables were nicely spaced out, giving everyone plenty of room without feeling cramped, and the retro atmosphere added a fun, nostalgic touch. I ordered the Elvis Burger, and it did not disappoint. It was pretty big and even came with an extra bun layer in the middle, which I ended up removing, but even without it, the burger was still very filling. It was packed with flavor, the sauce was amazing, and the fries were perfectly crispy. It was a bit messy, but honestly, that’s usually a sign of a good burger, and this was definitely one of the best I’ve had in a long time. My husband got the "Shut Yo Mouth" burger and loved it. He said the mix of flavors between the meat and BBQ sauce was really well-balanced and satisfying. My kids both ordered the mac and cheese from the kids' menu, and they really enjoyed it. It had a creamy texture and looked homemade, even if it wasn’t, it had that comforting, home-cooked feel. A nice little bonus: the kids’ meals came with a scoop of ice cream! My daughter had chocolate, my son had vanilla, and both gave it a big thumbs up. My parents went with the chicken fried steak and were very pleased with the portion size and the flavor. They especially enjoyed the gravy and how everything on the plate worked well together. All around, this was a great stop for the whole family. Delicious food, friendly staff, and a fun setting, we’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in the area!

This is an absolutely amazing little roadside diner that you must see and eat at. If you're anywhere nearby. It has a 1950s feel. State park
Historical landmark
Natural Bridge State Park is a stunning gem nestled in Virginia, renowned for its impressive 215-foot natural bridge that spans a picturesque gorge carved by Cedar Creek. The park's rugged karst landscape features lush valleys and dense forests, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers. A visit during the fall is particularly enchanting as the foliage transforms into vibrant hues, creating a breathtaking backdrop. Historically significant, this site was once owned by Thomas Jefferson and has welcomed notable figures like James Monroe and Martin Van Buren.
This place is one of the coolest natural wonders my wife and i have ever had the chance to see! Sitting hundreds of feet tall, the Natural Bridge will absolutely take your breath away and humble you at the same time. The hike is very easy to the waterfall, about a mile but it is paved and flat. We drove a couple hours to be able to see this and i am so so glad we did! This is a MUST see for anyone looking for an incredible landscape. Also, the gift shop and staff were incredible!

Beautiful park to stroll through! All levels of endurance can enjoy the trail to the falls. Counting the steps from the parking lot.. approximately 150 stairs.. know as you go down, you need to climb back up! Go easy, stop at different levels if you need to. Flours were beautiful.. leaves were beginning to change.. the water is crystal clear. Nothing better than hearing the water go over the rocks🤎 I actually saw a pawpaw fruit on my walk! 😃 You can pay for your pass once you reach the lower level as the gift store opens around 8 am. I was so glad I took the time to enjoy this gem of a park! All employees were happy, helpful, pleasant and a joy to converse with!!

This place was absolutely amazing. Beautiful day out in nature, to see some extraordinary things on this hike. Or walk if you will. I went and during the day, during the week. Wasn't too busy. But definitely head down the trail towards the waterfall. Go over the bridge and go through cave. It's just so cool.

What a true natural wonder of nature! Came here for the day and was stunned by the limestone beauty of The Natural Bridge! Highly recommend for a solo or family day hike! The entrance fee was nominal at $9.00 and they have a great visitor center where the staff are eager to assist with guidance and…they also have a cafe! The photos I posted do not justice as you must see and experience in person!

Natural Bridge is just a wonderful place. Yes, it is over-priced. But the sites are breathtaking and the charm is overwhelming. Unfortunately the attached attractions are leaving though. The exquisite Toy Museum and Butterfly Cave are already gone; and next season the historic Wax Museum will be closed. The owners should have considered holding on to these nice extras...its depressing. I suppose the Zoo and Caverns will remain and that's a plus. The worst I can say is that it used to be better. A real shame...my family have visited here every year since forever.

Nestled within a historic hotel, the Red Fox Tavern offers a delightful dining experience that perfectly complements your day of exploration. After a leisurely pace filled with activities, this charming tavern is an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy craft cocktails alongside delectable small bites. The ambiance evokes the warmth of a country manor hunt club, making it perfect for socializing before heading to the Colonial Dining Room for dinner.
I thoroughly enjoyed the food, particularly the pasta, which was the most delectable dish I have had in recent times. Jennifer and Sean provided exceptional service.

If you want food, find something else. Employees were trying but it was frustrating. The place was well worn and too hot. We tried to enjoy our meal but several things came out incorrect. Even once corrected it was so so. 🙁 so much potential. Service was very slow but I feel like the staff was overwhelmed. The drinks are good which is a win in the hotel.

Great bartender and wait staff. Cook was amazing. Very friendly and provided some good local places to see and do. Treated you like family.

Heather was awesome! She accommodated to any needs and asked about preferences before we even had to say them. Very quick to the point and very helpful. My colleague ordered the burger and it was awesome! I ordered the steak and it came with two sides- the french onion soup was yummy and the salad was good. The steak, I ordered medium rare, was a little bit undercooked in the middle but nevertheless everyone has a different meaning of medium rare so it was good nevertheless. Thank you Natural Bridge Hotel and Heather for serving us with efficiency, kindness, and warmness. Would come again if we visit the Natural Bridge again!

We had the dry rub chicken wings and sweet potato fries. It was awesome! The blue cheese was so good! The bartender Jennifer can make a killer margarita! I have had my share of margaritas and this one top them! Do yourself a favor and have Jennifer make you a margarita!

Beth was an excellent server. We had her our first night and first breakfast. The reason for the three on service was that other than Beth the service poor. We waited 15 min for the condiments and the food got cold. The hamburger was served plain after the service er took down all the order.

An unforgettable experience at Red Fox Tavern! American Legion Riders Virginia Legacy Run!! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming — but what truly made it exceptional was the outstanding service from the amazing staff. Carolynn, Fran, Jen, Shane, and Heather went above and beyond to make the evening special. Huge shout out to Shane for crafting one of the best Old Fashioneds I’ve ever had — smooth, balanced, and made with care. But the highlight of my visit? Anastasia. Not only was she kind and attentive, but she literally gave me a bee bracelet right off her arm when I complimented it. That gesture was genuine and unforgettable — the kind of personal touch you don’t see often. This place isn’t just a tavern; it’s a vibe. Red Fox Tavern has earned a lifelong customer. Can’t wait to come back!

The Colonial Dining Room at the Natural Bridge Historic Hotel offers a delightful dining experience that perfectly complements your adventures in the area. Whether you're gearing up for an exciting night of dirt track racing at Natural Bridge Speedway or exploring historic Lexington on a Haunting Tales Tour, this charming venue is an ideal stop. Guests rave about the spacious dining area and its adjoining Red Fox Tavern, where you can enjoy the same delicious menu featuring mouthwatering steak and garlic mashed potatoes.
We were delighted to find this restaurant right in the hotel of our one-night stay at Natural Bridge. Heather made a perfect Old Fashioned and was a fantastic server, the salmon was amazing, and we loved the French Onion soup. I highly recommend a stop at this historic, beautiful spot!

Food was great service was good. But we were told our hour was up and we would have to leave. This was our Thanksgiving dinner for our family, which included elderly members. My wife still had food on her plate. Was unable to even have dessert. And after paying $44.00 plus tax and a 18 percent for a tip, we had to get out. Server apologized, was not her fault manager she was rude and I can see why they have bad reviews.

I ordered a ribeye steak, a side salad, and French fries. It took almost an hour to bring us our food. At the time there were three other tables in the entire restaurant that had customers. Our waitress rarely made eye contact and never gave any updates on the food. When we finally did receive our meals, the quality of the cuts of steak was very below par, the french fries tasted like they were sitting under a heat lamp for quite some time before being brought out, and the salads were pretty much just lettuce. In summary, the food sucked the service sucked but the ambience was nice.
Robert N — Google review
It’s best to steer clear of this place, as I had an extremely disappointing experience with their food. The dish I received was missing half of the ingredients listed in the order, and the rice was both dried out and undercooked. Definitely not a meal I’d recommend.

In this day of TECHNOLOGY. For the proper use of a website that this restaurant would move forward in time in a technological way. To have their menu available ON LINE....DOESN'T REALLY MEET UP TO TODAY'S STANDARDS. We're staying nearby The Natural Bridge of Virginia. We saw that there was allegedly a really nice restaurant situated there. We thought that maybe we enjoy a good meal and dine with them. The menu on the website was cryptic at best. They listed a BEEF ITEM. They listed a FISH OF THE DAY. Not being able to find out utilizing the website...WHAT THE FISH OF DAY WAS. I called. The young lady that answered was almost to the point of being SNOOTY TO ME. I asked what was on their MENU. She mentioned a few items. I told her what I found on the website . SHE SAID THAT THE MENU THAT THEY HAVE NOW IS A NEW ONE. She mentioned that the FISH OF THE DAY WAS FISH & CHIPS and FRIED SHRIMP. Not the right answer. I told her that in the age that WE LIVE IN NOW. THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO UPDATE THEIR WEBSITE MENU WITH THE FLICK OF A SWITCH. We understood that the restaurant was a really good place to go to enjoy a really good meal. You would think that the restaurant employees would convey a sense of GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE TOWARDS THEIR POSSIBLE GUESTS & CUSTOMERS. SHE FELL WAY SHORT OF THAT GOAL. CONSEQUENTLY BECAUSE OF HER LACK OF INTEREST AND GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. WE'LL BE DINING ELSEWHERE.

Breakfast, just don't. $16 plus $3 for juice when they were out of milk. Their buffet consisted of scrambled eggs, not sure if they were powdered or not, bacon, sausage, potatoes, something that I could never identify that looked like mush, biscuits and gravy, toast, looked like vanilla yogurt in a bowl but nothing to keep it cold, a whole apple and orange. That is it. No pancakes, waffles or English muffins. I think they had mini muffins but the tray was empty the entire time we were here. They were out of all milk, they were out of lemon for my tea. I recommend finding somewhere else. All three of us agreed this was the absolute worst and most expensive breakfast we have had on our three week trip. I understand supply and demand but seriously drive 10 mins to get something better. My kids elementary school turned out better food. I refuse to go to the golden arches but I would beg them to take my money before I eat here again.

Breakfast bar was closed so I ordered the pancakes on the menu. Not sure what kind of secret batter they use but these were the best pancakes I have ever had. Better than Cracker barrels pancakes that were my favorite. They were crispy and almost seemed like they were deep fried. Service was great too.

Sunday June 30th I learned an important life lesson. Never get breakfast at the hotel if you aren’t staying there; it’s outrageously overpriced. Aside from that, even if the food here had been free and I had other choices, I would go pay to have a better meal somewhere else. I’ve never seen red lighting over the buffet trays and I feel this is done to obscure people from seeing what the food looks like. The eggs were greenish gray (which to me usually means overcooked). Everything else was some combination of stale, rubbery, and/or microwaved. I’ve had plenty of continental breakfasts at other hotels and inns, the majority of these places being nowhere near this fancy. This food was by far the worst. If the food alone didn’t make me and my three kids queasy when we ate what we could, the $70 bill definitely did me in. The experience was so bad it’s turned into a family joke where my kids tell people about it and refer to this place as “the nom-nom *barf* restaurant” The hotel by all accounts seems like a beautiful place to stay, and the staff was very kind and professional. We came here to eat after finding our first choice in town was closed for the holiday weekend and we were al really hungry. As nice as the staff and decor are we can’t eat them, hence the two star review. I hate leaving bad reviews but it would be such an easy thing for this place to make breakfast that can compete with the budget inn, I feel they should be aware so they can give it a solid effort.

Natural Bridge Toy Museum

The Natural Bridge Toy Museum in Natural Bridge, VA offers a diverse collection of toys from various eras, including those featured in popular movies. Visitors can explore toys from different decades of recent history. The museum is part of a package that includes access to the bridge and caverns, making it an enjoyable and affordable experience for all ages. Additionally, guests can enjoy delicious breakfast and dinner at the Colonial Dining room while visiting this historical landmark.
We booked a relax and unwind package that had breakfast ad tickets to the bridge, the caverns and the museums. It was so much fun, and the price for all that could not be beat! Friendly staff and absolutely scrumptious breakfast, not to mention the fabulous Colonial Dining room downstairs for dinner. Can't wait to go again!

Overprices tourist trap and not a good value. Caves are not worth a visit, and walk to natural bridge itself is not worth the entrance fees charged. One can go to federal park for much less so felt it is a bad value. It also appears that owners try to evangelize, as in the evening they tun The Last Supper lights show, and when going through wax museum you are also asked to listen to some religious show.

Chaos Mountain Brewing Station

Brewery
Chaos Mountain Brewing Station is a small and welcoming brewery located conveniently across the street from the Natural Bridge visitor center. The staff is known for being super friendly and accommodating to first-time visitors. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a food truck on-site. The flight of four beers is reasonably priced at around $9, providing an affordable way to sample their brews. While the beer may be considered basic, it's generally enjoyable.
Excellent place to drink a beer or two, watch a game, and hangout with friends. The Natural Bridge Hotel (different owner) has a food truck set up.

I give this place 4 stars because the staff was super friendly helping us out and welcoming us since it was our first time here. It’s located right across the street basically from the parking lot of the Natural Bridge visitor center. You could walk there. The spot is a small spot to hang out, some seating inside and out. They had a good truck but we didn’t get anything there. The flight has 4 beers and is pretty affordable. I think we paid $9 everything included. The beer was ok, it’s basic but not terrible. I wish they had more gose but that is just because those are my favorite. Overall a decent place to hang out after a good hike.

We had a lovely visit with our dog. Mellow vibe! Great beer! A tasty charcuterie tray... the food truck was closed. We look forward to a return visit 😄

We happened upon this brewery by accident and what an amazing accident! The beer was great, the location is totally unique and the bartender (whose name I never got and should have…) was super accommodating! We had our dog with us too…..and he was playing with another dog and spilled the water dish. The bartender never hesitated, never got worked up, just grabbed a mop and towels and helped us dry it up. I wish we could’ve stayed longer or gone back in the evening. If you’re ever visiting the Natural Bridge, do NOT miss having a beer here!!

Really enjoyed our visit. We had decided to stop in on our road trip and didn’t regret it! Sierra was pleasant, beer was great! Refreshing. One issue not caused by Chaos Brewing. The Natural Bridge Food Truck should be open for them as expected but closed that weekend and didn’t offer a replacement. Chef on vacation? Really? Shame on you Natural Bridge! Force your menu but don’t provide the food! We couldn’t get food to go with our drinks which affects the brewery business. I hope NB becomes a better neighbor/partner for you, We still enjoyed the cold flavorful brew. IPA and 4 Mad Chef’s delicious!

Absolutely fabulous little spot for a drink and food truck experience (not sure if it's always the same). Very close to the visitor center for the Natural Bridge with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. We really enjoyed the immediate offer of beer samples and having a chance to hear about each beer from the bartender. We'll definitely be stopping back in when we venture that way next!
Mimi K — Google review
I stopped in after the Natural Bridge hike and got a to go beer (blackwater) for the campsite. I hope to stop and hit the food truck and have a few more brews soon.
