Shopping
Holyoke Mall is the third-largest enclosed mall in New England, offering a wide range of shopping options from major fashion brands to sporting goods and electronics. With over 150 national and international shops, department stores, eateries, and entertainment options, it's a thriving hub for retail therapy.
Very good mall,it is clean and has all the big names here, lots of parking. There is a skincare, body and hair car store name La Flawless, love their products, natural and affordale. I highly recommand this mall in Massachusetts and specially visit La Flawless skincare store if you are into it.

10/10 would bring my child back here! I watched maintenance cleaning throughout our stay, multiple hand sanitizer stations. All day admissions which is a huge plus. Could see ages 1-14 genuinely enjoying this place. For reference, I’m a 28y/o mom and some of the slides were fast for me! They also have food available, lockers, and an arcade. Staff were extremely kind and accommodating! I drove 1.10 hours to get here and I would come back!
Jasmine B — Google review
Pretty nice looking mall, not too crowded and nice interior, very active and clean, took me some time to find a bathroom but thats alright, a ton of stores too and the glass ceilings are cool. 10/10, went there to pick up a 5070 from Best Buy, and just to walk around.
D G — Google review
Like stepping back in time to when people bought their products in person than rather gambling online. Perfect mall atmosphere, great stores and growing! HIGHLY recommend this mall for the family from the arcade, food court drinks to the spas, salons and clothing choices for mom and dad. Whether shopping alone, on a date, or with the family, there is literally something for everyone and every group. Every store I went into had a smile and good service. Going again for my birthday!
Stan O — Google review
One of my favorite malls in the Northeast! I love stopping here on my way home from Vermont or even making the trip just to shop. The mall has a warm, inviting atmosphere with a great selection of stores and friendly staff who make the experience even better. It’s always clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. Plus, the parking situation is fantastic — there’s a huge lot with plenty of free spaces, so finding a spot is never a problem. A great place to relax, shop, and spend a few hours.
Alex — Google review
We love Holyoke Mall! Easy on and off the highway. Clean, bright and safe mall with lots of stores, food options, and things to do like arcade, trampoline park, and even a gym. Several beauty salons for hair, nails, eyebrows, massage, etc. I could spend many hours here! Enjoyed the new 5 Below store!
Angela K — Google review
Great time at the Mall, there weren't as many people because most people are ordering online. But it was very clean and a great time!
Nicole B — Google review
Really nice mall! Lots of different stores and options for food too. The only reason I rated in 4 stars instead of 5, was the escalators. Multiple escalators broken and blocked off so you couldn't use them at all. Overall, nice mall though!

American restaurant
Cal's Wood Fired Grill and Bar in West Springfield, MA offers a spacious and laid-back dining room and bar, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed dinner or casual get-together with friends. The restaurant serves traditional American steak, seafood, and pasta dishes. Visitors praise the excellent service and recommend trying the chowder and coconut shrimp. While some mention that seating close to the kitchen can be a downside, overall, Cal's is considered a solid choice for dining in the Springfield area.
It was my first time here but we were treated like regulars. Our server Nick provided us with an amazing experience, from start to finish. I came here on a Friday night to celebrate a friend’s birthday, our reservation was for 730pm for a party of ten. Nick was patient and understanding when members of the party arrived late. Drinks and appetizers came out hot and fresh, we had the fried calamari, the wings, and the crispy risotto fritters. Everything was delicious but the calamari took the gold; well seasoned, crispy and not overcooked. For my main I had the chicken parm, the chicken was tender and juice. I heard great things about the salmon and the ribeye. They were a hit amongst members of my party. Nick was very attentive throughout our dinning experience checking in with us to make sure we were pleased with our dishes and drinks. Nick was kind enough to help us cut a cake for our friend and provide us with plated slices. At no extra charge. Over all I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, we came all the way from CT and it was worth the drive.

We visited Cal’s Restaurant on Sunday July 20th to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it was absolutely worth the trip from the southern part of Connecticut! We had an amazing experience from start to finish. Philip, our waiter, went above and beyond! his service was outstanding and truly made the evening extra special. Friendly, professional, and super attentive !he’s a gem! We’ve been to Abigail’s Restaurant before and loved it, so when we saw Cal’s was affiliated, we had to check it out. It did not disappoint. Even though we somehow got full way too fast (and we hadn’t eaten since around 1 PM!), we still made sure to taste everything. My husband had the salmon, and I ordered the top sirloin steak, medium rare (closer to rare)and both dishes were phenomenally done. Everything was perfectly seasoned and delicious. The restaurant was very busy, so make a reservation if you’re planning to go. The staff, the food, the atmosphere.it was all amazing. Thank you to Cal’s for making my husband’s birthday so memorable! I forgot to mention it was Pre fixee dinner $27 PP I also love how they had a overflow parking because it was packed. The parking is between the golf and package.place

Stopped in for an early lunch for 3 at 3:45pm on a Saturday, had booked a reservation about 2 hours ahead of time. Really surprised at how packed the place was. Parking lot was mostly full. We were promptly seated, and the waitress came by and got us water and drinks order right away. Menu has a large variety of options, everything from pizza, to steaks, to pasta, and even fresh raw seafood like oysters and clams. Waitress was very friendly. They have fresh unsweetened ice tea, as well as raspberry ice team. For a starter we had the calamari, the remoulard sauce it came with was very good. The calamari pieces were relative small, but perfectly cooked, also some onions tossed in, overall tasted good. The main dished come with a side salad, with decent selection of dressing, their blue cheese dressing was house made and excellent. For main dishes we had the Everything Spice Seared Tuna which has a fermented chili and Wasabi drizzle and riced cauliflower. It was well prepared, light and fresh. We also had the Wild Mushroom Ravioli, and the Rigatoni A'la Vidka. The Ravioli was very flavorful, lots of mushroom. The Rigatoni was very large portion and also good. Overall we had a very good meal, with friendly service, and it was surprisingly fast, only a little bit longer than an hour. I'd recommend going if you have never been, plan in advance as they were very packed and steady stream of folks being seated.

Perfect way to spend Mother's day. Delightful staff with a great prefix menu. Loved the homey vibes with a mix of elegance and sea life(a lot of things going on with decor but love it). Great food and even better cocktails. The oysters were so good. Loved the fried appetizer but can't recall the name The steak, pizza and chicken Parm are go to dishes. Worth the trip!

Great Food and Service Had the Brussels sprouts appetizer followed by NY Strip Steak with fries and spinach. Fries were good but will order something else next time so to enjoy chefs' skills on a side dish. LOOKING FORWARD TO A SECOND VISIT

Cinemark West Springfield 15 and XD is a modern cinema with 15 digital screens, luxury loungers, and state-of-the-art sound equipment. Originally opened in 1964 as one of the first multiplexes in the US, it recently underwent a complete renovation. The theater offers custom party services and hosts cheap summer movies for families. With spacious reclining chairs and ample cup holders, it provides a comfortable viewing experience for moviegoers of all ages.
Cinemark West Springfield XD Theater – A Memorable Family Experience Cinemark West Springfield provided an unforgettable family outing for me, my three kids, my sister, and her three kids. From the moment we walked in, it was clear this was more than just a trip to the movies—it was an opportunity to connect and create lasting memories together. The D-BOX seats were a standout feature, transforming the movie from just a visual experience into something immersive and extraordinary. The seats vibrated and swayed with the action, tilting in sync with camera movements and creating an unmatched sense of involvement. The adjustable intensity settings meant everyone could tailor the experience to their liking. We also discovered that these seats are heated—a cozy bonus that added to the comfort. The kids loved the novelty of it all, making it a shared experience we’ll talk about for years. Walking into the XD theater was a treat in itself. The red ground-effect lighting leading the way into the theater was mesmerizing for the kids and added a sense of magic to the experience. The massive screen and incredible sound quality brought the movie to life in a way that’s simply not possible at home. Between the excitement of the movie and the joy of sharing it together, it was an experience that made us feel more connected as a family. The theater offers thoughtful perks like the refillable popcorn bucket (a lifesaver with kids!) and the ability to skip lines for refills at the side desks. Membership benefits such as monthly tickets, rollovers, and concessions discounts add significant value for regular moviegoers. Plus, grabbing $50 gift cards for $40 at Costco makes this experience even more affordable. Though the concession stand staff could use reinforcements to handle peak times more efficiently, the overall experience far outweighs any minor hiccups. Cinemark West Springfield isn’t just a place to watch movies—it’s a place to bond with loved ones, laugh, be thrilled, and make memories you simply can’t replicate at home. Highly recommended for a family outing that brings everyone together!

Never a bad time at the movies. I have learned tho, always order food & drinks ahead when I purchase the tickets. We had the items delivered to our seats last time and the bag was there when we walked in...this past time I had it ready for us to grab at the hubby's either way was perfect. Sometimes the line is super long and with all the snacks and candy before ordering some people take forever to get down the line to a cashier. Otherwise not horrible. Our seats are always clean and comfy.
Nikki T — Google review
Very nice theater and it's a lot bigger than it looks. The seats are very comfortable as they are recliners with a swinging table with cup holder. The theater was very clean and it's close to a handful of good restaurants. Plenty of parking and Tuesday is $6.75 tickets all day.
John P — Google review
This Cinemark is doing everything right. First, I order the tickets online and pick the seats out, so we're guaranteed to sit where we want every time. Also by ordering the tickets online we don't have to wait in line. We just scan the qr code at the kiosk and we're in. This convenience is extended to their concessions. I can order all the drinks and popcorn online when i get my tickets and then select to have them ready and waiting for us 10 minutes before the movie starts when we arrive. If i had to wait in line for popcorn i wouldn't buy any. That was a really smart business move on their part. What's really great about the West Springfield Cinemark specifically is the theaters all have large reclining seats, so i can put my feet up. There's plenty of space in between each row so if someone decides to get up to go to the bathroom nobody has to move to make room. They also have bathrooms in each hallway to make a mid movie bathroom dash very quick because you don't have to run all the way back to the lobby.
Ben S — Google review
It is definitely better than what it used to be everything seems updated it's very clean spacious yeah I could have sworn they used to have heated seats and they keep a little chilly in there so you're going to want to bring a blanket or sweatshirt just be prepared to get a little chilly.

I went to go see Jurassic World Rebirth today for the 10 AM showing, and had difficulty purchasing a digital tickets via the Cinemark App. So upon arrival I went to the Customer Service desk looking to get help applying my cinemark cash and credit to purchase my tickets. Time was running out for my 10 AM start time, but luckily I had help! The Cinemark members Suzanna, Josh, and Fernando were there and ready to get things situated!! They not only got me all set with my tickets, but Suzanna then helped get us our concessions so we could speedily make it to our movie! Fantastic service and associates like them are the reason I am a Cinemark rewards member for life!

The Student Prince Cafe and The Fort is a family-run establishment that has been serving German food and beer since 1935. They have an extensive collection of steins in the bar, adding to the authentic German experience. The cafe offers a unique twist on traditional German cuisine, with each dish perfectly complemented by their wide selection of German beers on tap. Their pre fixe menu is highly recommended for those looking for great deals and delicious food.
The food was five stars, the service was five stars, and the atmosphere is also five stars. Everything was clean everything looked nice, even the bathrooms were clean. The food was excellent. The wait times were not long. Our waitress did an excellent job. I already know what I want to order when I go back again. Which will hopefully be soon. Five stars all around.

Been a few times, always enjoy the veal jager schnitzel, although this time the mushroom gravy was a bit grainy. Giant German pretzel is always good. Great Brussels sprouts. Dishes list the sides that come with it, but you can switch sides to whatever you want. Service is usually great, our waitress this time wasn’t the best though. Great atmosphere, enjoy all the antlers and decor.

A nice restaurant for a good experience for German food. The place was very interesting with its interior decor and all the items and decoration around. The service was very friendly and nice. The food was okay.

Really awesome restaurant that serves mostly german style food. We got the pretzel and alligator bites. Pretzel was fluffly and crunchy, the alligator bites tangy and spicy. Really good entries. As a main dish we got the Salmon and one of the house specialities, the braised pork shanks. One of the best foods I've eating on my visit to the US.

Great place ! Our waitress was awesome. Food was great. Pork shoulder / steztle was great Schnitzel was great Brat slider was great Potato’s on the schnitzel was great. Ghoulish wasn’t the best , hence 4 stars. I’d still give it 2 snaps up in a circle and a twist <🫰🫰>, but the goulish: hated it !

Damn! The Pork shank that kept giving, literally kept finding more meat. Huge portion, like huge! But damn delicious. The Spatzle was also tasty especially with the Sourkraut. Order a beer, eat good food and roll yourself out of there. Great service from the bar.

Nice restaurant with super friendly staff. It’s very baby/kids friendly and my 1 year old love their kids meal!!

This place triggered so much nostalgia for me, having grown up in a German household and spent much time in Germany. It is relentlessly authentic, the exact food we would enjoy in Bavaria on a daily basis, and it's got a warm cozy atmosphere too. I loved my veal Schnitzel but the sauerkraut was the best I've ever tasted, even better than my Oma's. The fact they've been in business such a long time yet have retained the high standards of quality says a lot these days. Highly recommend.

Pizza delivery
Pizza Hut is a well-known chain that offers pizza, wings, and pasta for delivery, carry-out, and dine-in. On National Pizza Day, I decided to try their Spicy Lovers Pizza at the West Springfield location. Placing my order online was quick and easy, and it was ready in just 15 minutes. Along with the pizza, I also ordered an original pan pizza, cheesy bread sticks, and cinnamon sticks.
Holy smokes did that hit the spot! I got chicken Alfredo with cheesy breadsticks as it can come as a combo that way. The breadsticks were just like I remembered them 20 years ago! I was so excited about that! The Alfredo sauce was creamy, had flavor, perfect amount of sauce to pasta ratio. Loved the parsley on top and a nice amount of chicken. Ate half the pasta and two breadsticks and I’m perfectly full, can’t wait to eat the rest later! This meal could easily feed two people and I spent less than $20. I think it was $13-15. The staff was so kind and helpful. The seating area was empty but I was also there around 2pm on a Monday afternoon so I’m not surprised by that. It was clean, takeout was great, kind staff, what more could you ask for?!
Sam B — Google review
Drove 2 hrs from CT to Mass for this?? I was here over a year ago and the pizza was not like this. It was like how I remembered pizza hut as a child. This time the crust was very thin and doughy and u can plainly see how floppy it was. I was I had taken an pic of the super supreme I ordered that looked like handfuls of raw vegetables just thrown on there with no cheese. It took them 25 mins to bring me my food. I worked at a PH before so i know all you do is add the toppings to an already prepared dough with sauce and it cooks for like 5-7 mins. Anyway I would have waited 45 mins IF the pizza was what I was hoping for when I drove 2 hrs. The taste was mediocre at best it lacked some of the robust flavor PH pizzas used to have. I am highly disappointed and will never return here again. Whoever authorized these changes in the pizza should be fired. This was the last pizza chain I would think about visiting since they usually are hit or miss anyways. I will keep my butt in CT theres plenty of way better pizza spots anyway. I just wanted to relive some of my childhood again. Thanks Pizza Hut for royally screwing that up for me. What makes it worse is that I anticipated such good pizza I bought 3 bill came up to $60 for this trash!
Christina B — Google review
I have tried to contact a manager at this store but was told there is not one. It was delivered cold, the pizza was like cardboard and barely any sauce was on it. It is not edible at all and i feel sick from one piece. It almost like the pizza was a week old. It was also barely cut into slices. It was very dry, the toppings were dry, i will include pictures. I have never had to complain about an order from this store so I’m not sure what happened but I’m not very happy spending 50 dollars on pizza that i can’t eat. My other orders seemed to be made with pride in the pizza they make but this was just absolutely so bad I’m taking the time to write. Especially the New Yorker pizza, that one is always juicy and delicious but this was like biting into cardboard. 50 dollars pizza for cardboard.
Still B — Google review
The food was average. Nothing I feel I want to return for. Chicken bites were very unevenly coated with sauce. Pizza was extra greasy. There was no menu to order from when visiting the location, but they had a menu online. When calling I kept being put on hold indefinitely.. Overall just not a great experience.
Shawn — Google review
I had a terrible experience with this Pizza Hut location and their handling of an issue with my app order. I placed an order through the app, received a confirmation number, and was charged only to arrive at the store and be told they had no record of it. Instead of trying to help, the in-store manager flatly refused to make the order or honor the confirmation, despite clear proof of payment. To make things worse, I contacted customer service and got absolutely no help. The manager even admitted that this issue happens *often*, yet showed no interest in fixing the problem or making it right. It’s extremely frustrating to be charged for food and then treated like it’s not their problem. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable service. I won’t be returning to this location.
Lilly R — Google review
We were told dine-in was not allowed, but others were allowed to dine in at the same time. We felt discriminated against. I was really surprised that a company as big as this could have a waiter who treated customers like that.
牛阳阳 — Google review
Staff is awful. Ordered a plain cheese pizza online and they delivered the wrong pizza. Called the store # and was put on hold for a while until someone in India answered and said I need to be transferred to the store. Waited and waited again just for the person to finally pick up and tell me there was nothing they will do because I ordered it online, even though they gave me the wrong freaking pizza! Kids wouldn’t eat it because of the toppings. I didn’t eat it because it was undercooked and doughy. Whoever runs this location is running it into the ground with bad food and an even worse staff. Normally Pizza Hut is awesome, but if you’re in this area, just get Domino’s.

Seafood restaurant
Crazy Seafood Cajun Seafood and Bar in West Springfield, MA is a popular dining spot known for its delectable seafood dishes and exceptional service. The restaurant offers a unique dining experience with mouthwatering flavors. Customers rave about the seafood boils, generous portions, and creative dessert presentations. While some feel that certain dishes could be more generous in portion size, overall the food is described as delicious and worth the visit.
We love coming to Crazy Seafood, we’ve been several times, and Desiree made it an absolutely wonderful visit! She was sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable. Thank you for making our experience so fantastic! Also, we LOVE seeing Autumn! She’s been our server in the past and she just has an amazing presence about her. Went here for my daughter’s birthday. She wanted crab legs. Everyone enjoyed their food and the experience. The dancing crab and birthday music was great! The atmosphere inside is really cool. Very clean on the inside also. Definitely will go back again! Highly recommend if you want fresh seafood!

I’m new to the area and was craving a seafood boil. I ordered the “West Springfield combo” with cajun sauce at a medium heat and added a half pound of crawfish. I was shocked by the amount of food I received. It was absolutely delicious! the snow crab was fresh, so sweet, and perfectly tender. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and filled with flavor. The crawfish were full of meat and soaked in the sauce so well. The corn and potatoes were phenomenal! The sauce was full of flavor and definitely left me double dipping. It’s hard to find good seafood in western Massachusetts, but Crazy Seafood is definitely my new go to when I’m craving perfectly cooked and flavorful seafood.

WASTEFUL… and imported seafood! Imported mints at a “Cajun” restaurant…😡 This is NOT a Cajun restaurant, it’s a mediocre steamed seafood place! Good steam soaked in sauce but not great and definitely NOT Cajun! I am a Cajun… you are disrespecting the Cajun name! WASTEFULNESS… when someone eating in your restaurant already spending $35 plus a very nice tip, on a meal and they ask for a little bit of butter and you bring them a very wasteful 16 ounce bowl of butter so that you can charge them three dollars for it… again you are disgracing the Cajun name. If you were in a real Cajun restaurant, they would bring you a little bit of butter as lagniappe. PS-Server and Manager were very kind, but apparently have no authority over the kitchen. Obviously, the greedy owners and managers of this restaurant are not Cajuns! PLEASE REMOVE “CAJUN” FROM YOUR NAME, AS IT IS A LIE!

The hostess was great! Now I’m always honest and from the looks of the restaurant it looks amazing, very attractive. I ordered the Calamari and asked for cocktail sauce instead of marinara. I also ordered the Crab Rangoon’s with scallions, Cream cheese and crab meat. The calamari was cooked in old oil, it was hard a dark. I never received ANY sauce for my Calamari which was $9.99 plus tax in the trash! The Crab Ragoons were all cream cheese but the sauce for them was amazing! My wife ordered Fried Shrimp and she received breaded shrimp that looked like it came outta a freezer already breaded. She also ordered Chicken wings and they tasted like they were going bad!! I’m a Chef and always worried about food safety, owner check up on your kitchen and cook from scratch not outta freezer.
Stephen T — Google review
A seafood boil was on our summer bucket list and this definitely satisfied our craving. The hostess was very welcoming and our server, Selena was friendly and very attentive. She also helped us navigate the menu and made some excellent suggestions as there were many options to choose from. We thoroughly enjoyed our seafood boil. We chose the Cajun seasoning and the medium spice level. Next time I would probably step up the level of spice but that’s just personal preference. By no means would I describe the flavor as bland. Another positive note was that I didn’t notice an overwhelming aroma of seafood when we entered the restaurant which I’ve found to be overpowering in some restaurants. We definitely enjoyed our experience.

NOT a good place if you are gluten free. There are only 1 or 2 items on the menu that are GF. My wife wanted some scallops and this place is close to our hotel. I chose to order a Caesar salad with grilled chicken but the chicken still appears to have some kind of breading on it. Other than the chicken, the salad is only lettuce. No tomato, no carrot nothing. Dressing is from a packet. I would encourage management to add some GF options to their menu

Best boil for the price! Got the Weekend and it was hard to eat it all, nice amount of shrimp, delicious snow crab, and lobster tails. The corn was good but the potatoes I saved as filler and it was still hard to eat it all. Started with a tasty and spicy gumbo and calamari with a tangy sauce. Liked the spicy and service was great. Have to come back and try a Louisiana style mix. Never seen Cajun and Chinese mixed on a menu but it works.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of downtown Springfield, Nadim's Downtown Mediterranean Grill is a culinary gem that invites you to embark on a flavorful journey through the Mediterranean. This charming eatery specializes in authentic Lebanese and Mediterranean dishes, showcasing an array of flavors from Greece, Turkey, and Lebanon. Beautiful place. Love the character. Jackie was amazing. Ordered calamari for an appetizer and the Mediterranean Salmon for diner. The garlic mashed potatoes are to die for. Delicious. Loved my experience here.

We had a party of 5 for lunch at 12:45 pm on Monday, 3/31/25. There was no wait. We split a few appetizers and I also shared an entree and a salad with one other person. Here’s what I tried: - Hummachos ($15): These were so good! The highlight of the meal for sure. - Hummus ($10): I’ve had better, this was just fine. - Labneh ($8): Decent. - Vegetarian Grape Leaves ($10): I liked that they were warm. Fine. - Falafel Plate ($14): Very disappointing! Just 3 measly falafel balls, hummus, tahini, parsley, and we chose fries as our side. Nothing special. - Fattoush Salad ($12): Good. Pretty average. We weren’t blown away.

I came to Nadim's to get a drink and some take out to bring to my wife for lunch I was told $10 for stand alone lamb kabobs and $5 for chicken. Turns out it was $15 for lamb and 7$ for chicken, so about %50 more than I was told. That's $5 a piece per tiny piece of lamb. The food was ok, but the portions for the price were small. My lamb I ordered medium rare was cooked something, I'll let you judge from the pictures. The makers mark peach drink was tasty, but not $15 tasty. I've included pictures of the food and receipt and most likely won't be back because there are plenty of other great Mediterranean/middle eastern restaurants in the area that offer better/more food for better prices.

Took a friend here for a belated birthday dinner. An excellent choice! We found street parking right in front of the restaurant. Walked in and were immediately seated. We were greeted with warm pita and a wonderfully seasoned olive oil dip. The menu is excellent - very difficult to make a decision because everything sounded so good! I finally chose the Mediterranean shrimp with sauted vegetables (zucchini, squash, peppers, and mushrooms). Dinner came with a perfectly sized salad. Dessert .... what else?! Baklava! It was wonderful and left me wanting more. Overall, Nadim's was a little pricy - especially with no 'adult beverages' - but I would definitely go again when in the area!

I loved this place for a long time but the last few times I’ve come there have been issues with the quality of the food or the way the food is prepared. I ordered a medium steak today and the first time it got to me it was well done. Typically I don’t like to complain so I was going to eat it but it was so dry that I had to send it back. The second time they served the steak it was raw. Not rare. Literally not cooked inside at all lol.

Nadim's was exactly what we were looking for to satisfy our Mediterranean food craving. Enjoyed the lamb and kaftan shish kabobs. Dishes were cooked perfectly. Definitely try Nadim's rice with your dish and the sauteed vegetables. The rice pilaf was very flavorful as well and compliments the shish kabobs well. The menu has many options for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free eating. The servers are helpful and the atmosphere is relaxing. Make Nadim's one of your places to go.

Massie was a great server. My dinner came much later than the rest of the party's and while the Simmered Chicken was tasty, some of the food temperature was lukewarm. But overall people very much liked the food.

The atmosphere was nice and customer service was good. The food was mostly good except for the pita bread, which seemed cold and a bit stale.

Steak house
Restaurant
350 Grill is a sophisticated steakhouse that exudes an elegant and glamorous vibe reminiscent of Las Vegas lounges. The establishment offers a diverse selection of modern American small plates, and diners can enjoy their meal on the outdoor patio. The restaurant has received high praise for its polished ambiance, well-trained staff, and delectable menu options, such as fresh oysters, a tantalizing charcuterie board, and an outstanding Beef Wellington.
So overall this place is very nice. Atmosphere is perfect to take that special someone for a great, quiet time. The only reason I gave the food a 3☆ was because I ordered my steak medium and it was most definitely well done, dry non juicy. I could tell it was a good cut of meat because there was that nice flavor it was just was too done.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I had the Baked Stuffed Peppers and it was out of this world. I really enjoyed chatting with Sheri(? Lots of spellings, if that is the wrong one, I do apologize). I could not have asked for a better atmosphere after a long day. So calming and well decorated. I loved the marinara sauce with the garlic bread. The staff asked if they could get me anything often.

After four years of my daughter at Springfield College, we stumbled upon this hidden gem in downtown Springfield. Our only regret is that it took us four years to find the 350 Grill. We were greeted by the owner at the door (no idea it was the owner when I asked her if the restaurant was good). We chose to sit outside, and our server Jordan was amazing. Because of her menu and drink suggestions, we had one of the best dining experiences that we've ever had. The surf and turf tower was like nothing I've ever had before, and was delicious. My wife, daughter and her friend were all equally loving everything. The desserts are all homemade by the owner's sister, and the carrot cake and ring ding cake were the perfect way to end our meal. The piano player/singer played a little James Taylor for us (per our request) and made it a point to chat with us at our table during his set. Now for the great news....my daughter will be at Springfield for two more years pursuing her advanced degree....so we WILL be back!!!!!! Thank you 350 Grill!!!!

We stopped multiple times on this place, unfortunately always after taking meals in other places, so we stopped for drink and snack. Place it's elegant, seems to be dedicated for mid age people with all respect for the style that they use. We always sit on the bar, and the bar tender is always great, friendly and talkative always respecting your conversation and drinks. I saw the food, and smell it and looks and smell amazing, u would like to have the opportunity to stop and try it. The couple of appetizers that we tried were pretty good and amazing quality of ingredients. I truly recommend this place 100%

We had an amazing experience at 350 Bar & Grill, and a big part of that was thanks to our waiter, Michael. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night without ever being overbearing. It’s rare to come across someone so genuinely invested in creating a great dining experience. Michael is a true professional, and the establishment is lucky to have him on their team. We’ll definitely be back and hope to be seated in his section again!

Possibly the greatest steak we've ever had. The Beef Wellington was outstanding, and my husband raved about his filet. Definitely try the burrata and the gorgonzola garlic bread!

Great place to hear jazz and enjoy a variety of great food in a wonderful atmosphere. Never had a Beef Wellington at a restaurant and never had a steak cooked so perfect. It's why I like going there. I will miss this restaurant when it moves but I will follow Ms. Sherri down the street when the 350 Grill moves to the new location.

excellent. absolutely excellent. most of the food is incredible, fun to browse the shops and the entertainment is the best!! definitely do NOT miss the circus, it was so much fun and it’s free. the acts were just so good. been here twice and once had a dog show and the other pig racing…😂 both fun in their own ways. people are nice and was a lot of security. does get very crowded, although it’s said to be worse on weekends while for us, it was the same as when we went on a weekday last year. i recommend going on the weeks in the middle, so your not going opening weekend or last weekend where everyone who wanted to go but kept pushing it back all go because “it’s the last weekend! we gotta go!” but yeah, do not miss this!!

Great time for all! Saw some awesome Concerts for free included in the ticket price. Like Chubby Checker, Seals & Crofts 2, Hank Azaria and the EZ Street Band, Sister Hazel, The Band Perry, Finger Eleven. Some of the best fresh food around. A must go to is the "Avenue Of The States" where each State building represents one of the New England States. Circus Spectacular at the Big Top. Shopping at "The Better Living Building" for items across the U.S. and around the world. And a daily Mardi gras type parade at 6:00 p.m. that you can catch some colorful Beads!

New England's largest fair! There's something for the whole family, with the amusement park, games and showcase buildings. There's so much to see & do! So many food choices too - you'll need the whole day! Wear good walking shoes, we did over 16,000 steps in 6 hrs!

I went to this place on September 26, Friday. But we went there on a school trip with my school. And there were several other schools that also went there. And it was disappointing. The whole vibe was ruined. When I went to go on a ride, they told us we had to make a card. When we went to make the card, it was for the students themselves to pay. The park didn’t make any exceptions for school students or do anything for free for us, the visiting students. We had to pay out of our own money to go on these rides. They didn’t even provide any food. To me, it felt like a total scam. The vibe was ruined. It was one of the most stressful days inside that place. I spent more than $40 just on food because everything was expensive. One slice of pizza was $14. A Coke was $10. My day was really stressful. And the games we played—we had to pay $10 each. They were all gambling games. We didn’t win anything, not even a stuffed animal or anything. And just to get the wristband, we had to pay more than $30. Where are students supposed to get $30 just to get a wristband to play on all the rides? I thought it was completely unfair. I only went on one ride because, luckily, I only had $10. I had to pay $10 to make the card to get 20 tokens. And the ride I went on cost 12, so I only went on one ride. Some people didn’t have any money at all and just stayed walking around. And we only spent two hours in that place.
Safira S — Google review
It's a wonderful, large-scale event but is too commercialized and the food prices are beyond affordable for the average family. Also, access and traffic are abysmal. A shuttle system from off-site lots would be nice. Nothing ever changes about that, but crowds still flock there. Probably because of the entertainment, which is top notch. Has anyone considered moving the Big E to October to coincide with actual fall weather? No? I didn't think so.
Noel N — Google review
There had been a significant decline in the balance of Agricultural Fair and tchotchke's and gadgets, which is second and third to alcohol. Everything is priced the same. There is NO value and no choice of amount you spend. Price points are set, portions are small. Music acts are OK but paying extra for a concert at a fair is just another money grab on an already overpriced admission ticket.
Barbara W — Google review
I absolutely love the Big E! We go a few times every year. For best experience, go on a week day in the first week. If you like to do an evening, early and mid-week of week one are best. The first weekend tends to be the quietest. Says where it is raining just a little are also good picks, since you avoid crowds and can still enjoy the buildings. Many vendors return year after year, so you can visit your favorites. There is also always something new, which adds to the fun. The sky wheel is scary but a lot of fun, the circus is always enjoyable (though the tent can get pretty warm), trying different foods (Mexican Street Corn Pizza, Poutine Gourmet, soup in a bread bowl, lobster rolls, schnitzel sandwich at the Wurst Haus are some of my favorites), and checking out a band at the court of honor stage (free!). If you have never gone, I recommend going ateast once.

The Big E is a massive state fair that brings together the six states of New England for a traditional agriculture celebration. Held in Springfield from mid-September to early October, this century-old tradition features the Avenue of the States, showcasing realistic models of each state's house. The fair offers entertainment, shopping, rides, animals, crafts, and parades representing all six New England states. Even during the off-season, there are activities at the exposition center.
THE BEST!!! A STATE FAIR COVERING ALL NEW ENGLAND STATES!!! For a great time, book a ticket asap, hop on a train or bus and get yourself to Springfield’s Union Station 🚉, from there, a free local bus will take you directly to the big E! If you’re taking the bus back, it’s a good idea to start waiting at the stop at 6 PM because there is not very late night service! I did it as a day trip from New York City and it was phenomenal!!! Well worth it and a lot less expensive than a day at Disney World! GO!!!

This is the biggest fair I have ever been to, we had such a great time here, not only are the grounds huge but the different building they have for CT, MA, VT, etc are just jam packed with so many gems. Endless amount of fun and food. The food can be a little pricey like any fair you go to, if you can go on the day they have the $3bites especially if one of your main reasons for going is sampling all the different food would save you quite a pretty penny. This was my first year going to the state fair so I learned that the ticket is just for admission which I probably could have found out from a little more research, you still have to pay for parking for the fair, any carnival rides you would like to go on and things like that. I was just so blown away by everything they had in one place. One of my favorite things was the exhibit they had of the baby chicks hatching in real time and being able to interact and hold them so much fun.

9/12/2025 My sister and i went here on a a Friday i believe it was the first day and it was still crowded but not overly crowded im sure on the weekends you cant even move lol. There was a lot of good places to eat, a lot of activities, petting zoo, you get to see the horses up close and personal, it was just an over all great experience.. Ive been to dallas texas state fair and i can say this was kinda similar even though not as large but it was still a great experience i plan to return next year. Oh FYI if you dont have medical or disability issues where you need to park near the entrance i would suggest parking on the outside theres good prices even though its a long walk from the entrance you wont be caught in exit traffic leave from the fair parking areas....

Most attractions/food stops don’t have shades. So be prepared for the sunlight and to walk around 4-6 hours to fully see everything. I highly recommend the Greek place where you can get a flat bread lamb wrap with a great sauce. I would personally park outside and walk 10-15 minutes.
Hyperagua R — Google review
A great experience, but it gets boring after a while. Wish there were more attractions instead of beer gardens. The food is crazy expensive but it’s not surprising with the prices the vendors pay to set up shop there. I’d rather pay a small amount for a smaller portion size because it’s a bit too much food for me at times. The food was good though if you knew where to look. Honorable mentions to NOLA’s sticky rib, the baked potato place next to the Connecticut house, the dirt and worms bucket cake from LuAnn’s Bakery, the hard cider infused pulled pork sandwich from the Samuel Adams beer garden, and the cinnamon donut bucket from The Donut Family.
Jazzie — Google review
Great fair with lots of tasty things to eat and plenty of entertainment for the whole family. The 4-H portion is excellent and educational. The midway is flashy and busy. The home-show has lots of new items each year. The avenue of state houses is fun, but can be crowded and busy. The fairground is overrun with people drinking alcohol and I would like to see much less of that.
Jacob J — Google review
It was the usual experience asI’ve been every year since I was born. The food was extremely expensive. It was $81 for three mediocre lobster rolls. The 3 minute carousel for my four-year-old took 30 tickets which are a dollar apiece… The parking was $20-$40 to park over a mile away. There was nothing outstanding this year. I was interested in seeing ZZ Top but upon going on the website, it was $500 a ticket to sit in the way back… Unfortunately, not worth it. Sorry ZZ. My son had fun that’s all that matters but we probably spent close to $400 that day and we came home with nothing. My son loved the big yellow slide and luckily we bought four tickets at once because I had a feeling he’d like it and wanna go again. He probably could’ve done the yellow slide all day. That was definitely the highlight.
Sharon S — Google review
I love the Big E, and I do go every year. There is something for everyone, from vendors selling local products, to local places talking about upcoming events(visit Southwick’s zoo inside the better living center 😉), to mattresses, to carnival rides, to concerts(both free and ticketed), horse shows, petting zoos, baby animal, Clydesdales horses, state buildings, and of course the food! You can easily spend a day or two or more here. Why do I say 4 stars verses 5? I’ve gone many many years now and spent a lot of money here- I would love to see the vendors make more money, and more people come, and I think it the cost to get in for tickets was less or eliminated, it would allow just that to happen. I vote Big E for all! ❤️ oh! And the conneticut building Danny’s baked potato reigns victorious! Trust a foodie.

White Hut, a casual counter-serve eatery established in 1939, is known for its hot dogs, burgers, shakes, ice cream and breakfast offerings. Situated amidst strip malls on Memorial Avenue, the restaurant's Art Deco design and candy stripe awnings make it stand out. With its vintage charm and quirky touches, White Hut has been a beloved spot for decades. Visitors rave about the tasty food and highlight the unique soda machine offering options like cream soda and R.C.
My husband picked this spot on our way out of Springfield from other reviews. He was a bit disappointed with his burger patty size, it's thin, and not sure he would go back. But I'd say my chicken strips were the best I've ever had. Our son had the hot dogs, and liked them...they are Nathan's. Onion rings were perfect and fries very good. Over all though the price value was good.

They were out of footlong hot dogs. How can you be out of footlong hot dogs? As a hot dog place, that serves burgers and dogs, you are out of the footlong variety. If there is a foot available of anything, I want it. Especially when it comes to my weiners. See lots of claims of being the best burger, best this, best that. Mehh, decent for being what it is. Joint has the old school nostalgia feel. Cashier was great and was helpful, after she herself stopped eating. Menu was simple and I have a feeling I could really get silly with the mash-up, but I was still startled when the footlong was off the table. I did order a regular dog and the option of American cheese or cheese sauce once again took me for a ride. I just didn’t know what to say. In the end, I was very pleased they have a half onion ring and fry bag. And I was pleased with the dog. Although it was served sideways in the clamshell, and I had quite the mess to deal with. The flat top is layered with grease, which was both amazing and frightening to see. The burgers are fine but the diced onions and cheap bun were not the greatest. I almost did not eat it because the burger was just a touch more pink than I like. Waiting for the free diarrhea to follow in a few hours. I don’t like shakes, but they have plenty. Prices were a bit high once you start adding on extra toppings. Reminds me of the evolution of a place in the south called Cook Out. But not neatly as good.

Visiting the area. This place has great reviews. Price SEEMED good. The burgers taste good BUT are really really SMALL. They are perfect toddler size. But for adults, to fill up You need 3 or 4 burgers. So the price doesn't seem so good then for a family of 3.

Most of these 1 star reviews are written because people are miserable terrible losers who don't understand that the word "no" MEANS NO (you don't own white hut so why do you think you can make the rules). Listen to the good reviews. Notice how the 1 stars make zero sense linguistically, just go in and form your own opinion.

Have been wanting to come here for awhile now, it's a bit of a drive so I had to come up to the zoo since it was a good day. I have to say that this spot is far better than any five guys I have been to. I ended up getting the double cheeseburger with bacon and grilled Onions, strawberry shake and the fries/onion rings combo. The fry/ring combo a 👍 up, the burger was juicy and the shake was delicious. I can't wait to come back up here again.

The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, the birthplace of basketball, offers an immersive experience for fans. With over 40,000 square feet dedicated to basketball history, it's an ideal starting point for a day trip in Springfield.
What an incredible experience. The Museum is very beautifully done and tells a beautiful story of how basketball came to be. It is filled with plenty of interactive things for you to do as well as information on the sport. The staff is very friendly and facility is clean. I highly recommend going to the Basketball Hall of Fame. If you are active duty military the ticket is free. Go check out this wonderful piece of history.

The exhibits are so well done, with interactive displays and amazing memorabilia that really bring the sport to life. I loved seeing all the jerseys, championship trophies, and learning about the legends who shaped the game. The interactive experiences are a highlight – I even got to test my shooting skills! Whether you're a lifelong basketball fanatic or just looking for a fun and engaging outing, this museum is a must-visit. Great exhibitions and court. Must if you are near Springfield or really love basketball. I would recommend arriving 10:00 sharp and going to the court. It will be empty and will be a lot more enjoyable to hoop at that time than later, when it's crowded (that's what the staff recommends). There is even a real Larry O'brien trophy you can take pictures with and touch it!

Really fun place. Word of advice, if you get there right when they open at 10, you're basically there by yourself so you have about 30-60 min of the bball court with a handful of others so I would start with the court, then the self guided tour (basically follow the arrows on the floor) and please do take your time vs blowing by everything, followed by the short film. The short film is about 15 min long and seats rotate every 20 min. Please note that if you get there early, please ensure you bring drinks with you as they don't sell food within here and the complex itself has a subways but they were closed when we got there.

Really amazing place. Great selection of unique items, exhibits. The docents are incredibly friendly and very very knowledgeable. Great experience and could've spent probably the entire day there absorbing their knowledge!

Very nicely done The subway inside of there is great The other stores are nice as well but just to be able to go inside and have a chance to walk into the basketball Hall of Fame was amazing me and my girl went there for the first time today to stop and get something to eat and didn't realize until we realized what it was and where we're at it just has its own vibe

Awesome place. Tons to do. Great spa gambling nice rooms nice place went on Tuesday night was really slow there not much going on but sometimes it’s nice ate at scorpion bar great burrito there also ate at whalburgers have eaten at Guy Fieri’s hard rock Café amazing place. I love going there. I feel safe there. The staff there is really good. Also 15 min away from Mohegan Sun. If you’d like to change the.scene for a bit. If I could live there I would. There is also a discount for room if booked 30 plus days in advance.

Went to the festival of trees with a few friends and had a good time. The Mass mutual center did a great job setting everything up and getting people in to see and experience it. They were very organized and the trees and decorations around the room were beautiful. They had live entertainment each day with a stage area and seating and refreshments at the cafe in the back. Well worth the ticket price and great for the kids.

My last review is kind of harsh. The show was fantastic went to see the Black Keys. They put on a great show I don't understand why they didn't sell more of the arena. Anyhow the experience was good tonight the concessions were good. The margarita was really small that I bought, It tasted really good it was just really small for the price. Also got ultimate nachos and it was amazingly really good. As I said the concert and the venue were fantastic.

Had such an amazing time seeing Maroon 5 in concert. Platinum seats, great view, great performance. They had pricey drinks and food, but im not surprised. The music was great, Adam Levine connected with his fans. & made the experience 10x better. Love that they were close to home.

The parking is non existent at least for school buses. We went here because my son has a band concert being held here. I rode with the band so finding parking wasn’t an issue for me but the kids had to get off the bus and unload and reload right there in front of the building so it leads me to believe with it being in downtown busy-ish area there is only street parking. However, the inside is clean and the workers there were nice and accommodating to our school.

overall, a great place to see a comedian. Parking is a few blocks away and it happened to rain on the night we went, which made it more challenging Easy and easy out of the place lots of seating. One issue was using StubHub both the tickets and the parking were horrible experience. The tickets never arrived and the parking did not work with what they provided. I would recommend using the Center for booking any tickets and not use StubHub

Very nice as as arenas go. Great job with the Thunderbirds branding throughout the venue. Fan and family friendly. Good variety of food options including barbecue! Clean facility and seats are comfortable enough for folding plastic stadium seats.

American restaurant
Max's Tavern is a polished chophouse located next to the Connecticut River and the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts. As part of the Max Restaurant Group, it offers classic American cuisine with a modern twist, craft cocktails, and an extensive wine selection. The restaurant features a wood-trimmed space with a full bar and has gained popularity for its innovative menu.
My family & I went to the basketball Hall of fame, on our way out we decided to stop in at Max’s. I’m happy I didn’t look at the reviews because they don’t do the place any justice. I will say though, they had amazing wings. My husband got a burger, which was well cooked, juicy, & flavorful. (I had a taste;) I had the grain bowl, one of the best combinations of vegetables & taste profiles for sure!!! The waitress was beyond her job, she offered coloring pages and other alternatives constantly to my two sons. Overall, a great experience.

This establishment presents a unique and appealing dining experience. The ambiance evokes a sense of classic charm, while the menu showcases meticulous attention to detail in each dish. The desserts are particularly noteworthy, and the setting is quite pleasant.

Some of best salmon and ahi tuna is served here! The decor takes you back a few decades with red leather seating, elevated booths, and classy chandeliers. Service was excellent, too and drinks to die for. The Norwegian Salmon was perfectly crunchy on one side and juicy, and flavorful on the inside. It was nicely paired with the seasonal veggies and salsa verde. My sushi-class tuna on the bed of cold noodles was just the right size and full of flavor, with a little bit of crunch from shredded carrots. This was a first-class experience and we'll definitely be back!

This is mine and my husband’s favorite place on our day off. The first booth we were sat in had wine glasses stacked on them and my husband raised his arm (he’s a slightly larger muscular gentleman) and the glasses fell all over him. I don’t understand why wine glasses were stacked on the edge of a booth but continuing on, we changed booths and immediately knew what we wanted aside from my choice of wine. I had 5 oysters and he had the meatballs which were amazing but this is where everything went bad. Our food was taking quite a long time, no big deal but our server was no where to be found so we asked another server for ours to bring our food to go since we couldn’t keep waiting. Mind you, we had been there for an hour. Our original server never came back to the table, we received our food and cashed out with someone else. We get in the car, look at our food and it just feels laughable. The main reason we go is the chicken parm, it’s our favorite. There’s no sauce and it was just thrown in the box and the fish and chips came with the ramekins they use in the restaurant. We love Max’s restaurants as a whole but over all, this experience and food did not match the normal service and entrees that we’ve consistently received before.

TL;DR: Food is overpriced and quality could be better, everything else was great ..... The service and atmosphere were great. Located next to/in same building as the Basketball HOF. My only complaint is the portion and lack-luster quality of the dishes. For starters, the crispy calamari. The breading practically fell off and felt slightly undercooked, but the sauce looked like it was smeared on the plate. Would've been better if it was placed in little dish cups like most other places do. Then, the salmon portion was so little. The salmon, cooked at medium, was perfect. But for what was presented, it was definitely overpriced. The sides that come with it, is barely a bedding for the salmon.
Chris S — Google review
This was an excellent place to have dinner. Upscale yet not pretentious, the food matched the decor, and the service was outstanding. Food including calamari, steaks, mushrooms, Mac and cheese stood out; with craft cocktails that wowed and were equally delicious. Easy to park at the Basketball hall of fame and was a special experience. Will certainly return.

Called ahead to ask if they had gluten free options. The girl on the phone was very nice, and assured me there was, and the server would be able to help me further. We made a reservation. We were seated immediately upon arrival. The server didn’t come greet us for about 10 minutes. She spoke with all the tables around us, but didn’t even acknowledge us. When she finally came over she said she didn’t even know we were there, and do we know what we want? I told her that my daughter and I have a gluten allergy, so we had some questions on the menu. I asked her about a few different things that she had no clue if we could eat them or not. I asked her if she could please check. She came back only letting me know about one of my choices. I asked her about the other and she got annoyed. She said “Well that has nothing fried so you should be fine” then went on to say “If you want then we can just put everything on the side and you can decide what you should eat. Do you know what you want yet?” She refused to check what was safe for my daughter and I to eat. I asked to speak with a manger. She rolled her eyes and walked away to get someone. At this point we had decided that we were leaving. We can’t trust this restaurant to be safe which is fine, but we should’ve just been told this when I called to ask, and we definitely should not have been treated so rude!!!

It's situated near the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame and provides a diverse menu including black Angus beef burgers, veggie burgers, chicken or fish sandwiches, mac and cheese dishes, as well as an assortment of wine, beer, and bourbon at the bar.
4 of us and a child ate here for our first time and we enjoyed our meals. There was a little wait for a table but it wasn't to long. The music as very loud though. The food was good, I got a smash burger as did my husband, we enjoyed them very much. The fries were very thin like McDonalds so I wasnt a fan.

DO. NOT. RISK. IT. Go not let this affect the Glastonbury location as I've had good experiences there on multiple occasions. Heed my warning friends, skip this place. Our server was friendly but unfortunately forgot the waters. Hawraa i think was pleasant and reminded me of Daphne from Scooby doo its unfortunate that she forgot the waters and possibly the food as it looked like it had sat ready for some time. There top of the mac n jack was a different color than the interior which typically indicates the food may have sat in the window. Markers mark was all on the walls but not on the menu at all i don't understand that. As a brand ambassador i was hoping to try a mix of MM. I don't know how you mess up Mac n cheese but it was indeed almost hard to get down. My friend got the burger salad which had a similar appearance with cheese that was melted but sat somewhere before coming out. Did not even look appetizing from across the table. Dj was good and i was grooving throughout the whole process to songs i had forgot but was definitely a vibe is sooo unfortunate that they dropped the ball almost everywhere else. Ace pineapple cider was bomb and may be my new favorite cider if i can find it anywhere Hopeful they get it figured out as the other location was fiber even doing Togo's. Let the randos frequent this place until they fix what's wrong.

Servers were great. Location was great being next to Basketball Hall of Fame. But look at the pics. It looks like they stopped caring. MOAB Burger was a Big Mac with what looked like less meat at 3x the cost. “Special fries” were just sub par stringy fries. The fast food ones are better. Sam’s Summer tasted sour. I had ducked my head in years ago and it seemed nice. Now…gross.

I recently visited Plan B Burger Bar near the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, MA, and had a fantastic time exploring their menu. I started with a Whiskey Smash—a bourbon-based cocktail served with crushed ice and mint. While the drink was well-balanced and refreshing, I only had a couple of sips. I realized alcohol just doesn’t sit right with me—it feels a bit off. That said, it’s a solid option for those who enjoy a good bourbon cocktail. I started my meal with the El Diablo burger, packed with flavorful ingredients like pepper jack cheese, jalapeños, and chipotle ranch. While the burger itself was excellent, it lacked the expected heat. Thankfully, the insanity sauce on the side added a mild cayenne pepper kick, though not nearly as fiery as the name suggests—it was mild enough that I could drink it. Still, it complemented the burger nicely. The sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, making for a delicious side. Still feeling hungry, I decided to try the M.O.A.B. (Mother of All Burgers). This double-patty creation came stacked with cheddar cheese, lettuce, onions, pickles, and special sauce on a sesame seed bun. I took out the middle bun for a cleaner bite, and it turned out to be an even better decision—the flavors shone through, and it was the perfect balance of a hearty, classic burger. The ambiance of Plan B is warm and inviting, with holiday decorations adding a cheerful touch to the cozy yet lively bar area. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that my visit was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. Plan B Burger Bar delivered on all fronts—delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and attentive service. Whether you’re stopping in for a bite after visiting the Hall of Fame or just looking for a solid burger spot, I highly recommend giving it a try. Don’t skip the sweet potato fries—they’re just as memorable as the burgers themselves.

After a long day at work, I was really looking forward to trying a burger from Plan B. Unfortunately, the experience fell flat. I ordered a burger expecting something juicy and flavorful, but what I got was dry and overcooked—comparable to a hockey puck. There wasn’t a drop of juice on the plate, even after finishing most of it. I also ordered the Parmesan fries, which were another letdown. Instead of being hot and fresh with melted cheese, the fries came lukewarm and topped with what looked and tasted like cold, grated Parmesan straight out of the green Kraft container. The cheese didn’t melt at all, which made the fries even less appetizing.even the salad came out with wilted lettuce. Sadly, based on this visit, I don’t see myself coming back.

Stopped at Plan B for a last minute meal and tried their smash burger for the first time. I am not one to eat at McDonald’s, however the special sauce really reminded me of a classic Big Mac. It was delicious and I was pleasantly surprised.

Went Saturday night with our family and we’re sat quickly… that’s about the only quick thing that happened. The place was nearly empty- like maybe 5 tables say total. But the few tables that had been sat remained uncleaned the entire time we were there- including the dirty dishes left in their outdoor seating area. Not one table was cleaned up during our almost 2 hour endeavor. We ordered an app and were warned they might be out but they’d check for us- never got the app, or the chance to order a different app to hold us over while waiting for dinner and the server never came back to tell us it was in fact unavailable. I guess she figured we’d get the message when it never came. We got exactly 1 round of drinks- no refills- she never came back to ask until she brought our main dishes. Sprite was flat so we had to go to the bar ourselves to get a different drink because the server was never around. We had to get our own silverware from a different table. Food took so long to come out that we thought just getting up and leaving. I don’t know how this place stays in business with the poor service. Maybe that’s why it was empty on a Saturday night. We also saw a sign that there was supposed to be a DJ there, but we never saw/heard one while we were there. It’s a shame because I’ve here in the past and while the food is fine the service is literally getting worse every time. I think we’ll be done with this place and look for something else next time we’re in the area.

Traditional American restaurant
Memo's Restaurant, located in West Springfield, is a casual daytime eatery that offers classic American breakfast and lunch options in a relaxed setting. The restaurant prides itself on using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients to create dishes that cater to a variety of tastes. Their breakfast menu features premium omelets, French toast, pancakes, waffles, Benedicts, breakfast sandwiches, healthy options, and cereal.
$$CASH ONLY$$ We arrived Memo’s around Friday 9am. The parking lot was full!! I was worried there would a long wait inside. Surprisingly there was no wait and inside was very spacious with many different sections. They would only seat you if the entire party arrives. Also the staff told me there was another parking lot on the side. They have the open kitchen concept. You can hear the chef calling out tickets and running the kitchen. Cool like Chef Ramsey’s Hell’s Kitchen show. Food was fantastic . I loved my crab cake Benedict. Flavorful, tender, eggs were cook beautifully. I wished the crab cakes were bigger tho. They were very good. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It is a very popular spot for the locals and visitors. I’ll recommend to try if you are in the neighborhood.

Went on a Sunday around 9:30, had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. Once we were seated and ordered the food came pretty quick. Overall we were not impressed with the food. It was nothing spectacular, just average breakfast food. Eggs were cold when they reached the table and pancakes were tough. Very few meals come with home fries, which was rather disappointing. Atmosphere was very loud and chaotic. Thought we would have a better experience based on all the reviews, but we most likely won’t be back.

All around delicious. Every single item. The Bomb omelette is huge and delicious. The Benedicts are crazy good and gorgeous. Staff always walking around refilling coffee. Food comes quick. Tons of tables and very little (if any) wait, even if it seems like a lot of cars are there. Cash only.

I am a sucker for a good breakfast menu. Lumber jack breakfast was as good as it looks. Memo's had it covered and great prices. Name it they got it. Best still full restaurant Sunday at 9 AM and the wait staff were charmingly efficient in quality and quantity of work.

Cash only. This a very popular family run restaurant. It’s huge inside., so we didn’t have to wait to get a table even though they were packed. All the staff are super nice, do friendly conversations with everyone. The front page of the menu has a nice background story of the restaurant’s name, ownership and its location. The menu itself has so many variety of dishes. I got the lobster benedict, such a great dish. Perfectly poached eggs, lots of lobsters in between the English muffins, loved it. The mickey mouse pancake was also good. I saw them making some colorful fancy mimosas as well. The head chef yells out the servers name and the dish that is ready to go from the kitchen. We sat next to the kitchen and got full experience lol. There were also plenty of servers, I counted about ten or so. Hence service was top notch. There was no delay on drinks or food. Tables were cleaned quickly after we finished meals. Overall a great place to enjoy a good breakfast and brunch.

It feels very homey here. The place is very simple with good food and good coffee, and you definitely feel the Italian vibe when you walk in. Everything was fresh, and made to order. The staff were super nice and friendly (again in a folksy way) There is outside seating and usually there is some sort of music playing during lunch hour so it’s fun to be there I wouldn’t recommend planning to study or do work inside as it can be loud during lunch hour

We stopped in on Friday morning to grab a couple drinks (iced latte and Iced macchiato) and a couple bagels. It was a great decision. We were out for a walk during the morning from our stay at the MGM and I presume, it was the owner, that was so kind and welcoming. She gave us great suggestions and everything was delicious and reasonably priced.

SO GOOD. Delightful food and super affordable. The Italian ladies serving us were super sweet and definitely knew everybody in there (except me and my parents, the out-of-towners). There was a slight misunderstanding regarding my mom's and my coffee orders - one of the Italian ladies told me I was a "pain in the ass," but in a very lovely way... ? Seriously, a great place.

My first time eating a meal here. The atmosphere and ambiance are very nice. The service was quick and the staff are very friendly. The food was delicious and you get a good value for your money. A big breakfast sandwich and a large iced latte were less than $10! If you are visiting downtown Springfield this is the place to grab a bite. It's small, but not cramped. Actually, it's comfortable to sit and eat while you're waiting for a meeting downtown or waiting for a store to open. I will be coming back here.

Day 3

Off the beaten path
For day 3, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Forest Park. Not quite as popular as Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 7 hours.

Park
Forest Park is a vast 735-acre public park that offers a charming natural setting, picturesque views, and various attractions such as a lake and zoo. Visitors can enjoy events like Bright Nights, although there may be long wait times to enter. However, with some preparation like bringing snacks and entertainment, the experience can be enjoyable. The park provides diverse activities for families including exploring the zoo or simply appreciating the wildlife and serene surroundings.
Lovely trails to walk, a rose garden, historic buildings, and events during the summer. Has a wonderful family friendly zoo, fishing areas, and several nature watching spots. Throughout the park you can find gazebos and picnic table areas along with BBQ pits, playgrounds along with a public pool open during the summer. It is pet friendly-on leash required-and many people are seen walking their dogs with waste bins for doggy bags. I've seen many native species including a herd of white tailed deer, barred owls, geese and ducks, herons, kingfishers, and foxes.

Michael D — Google review
The woman at the entrance wasn’t very friendly, but everyone else we met was wonderful—especially the staff at the zoo. The park itself is well maintained, much better than some others I’ve been to. That said, the wooden benches by the zoo restrooms are pretty worn down and not the safest to sit on. The highlight of our visit was definitely the zoo, where you can feed the donkeys, goats, and sheep. Since we went on a Saturday, we also got to check out the farmers market. There were lots of great finds and food trucks/stands. We ended up bringing home some wine and syrup, but next time we’ll definitely be back for the fresh produce.

As children, my siblings and I were so excited when our parents offered for us to have a picnic at Forest Park. We loved going to the massive park to, well, discover. And play. I had no idea how important for my parents was, in being able to go to a place like Forest Park, and for free at the time, given that they had grown up during The Depression. And as I grew up, how this space has become, impressive when I learned that it was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, the same person who designed Central Park in NYC. It's even more, well, profound, knowing that there are fewer and fewer "green spaces" - even small ones - in the city given that there is more of a need for high-cost housing than for any environmental needs. We have such luck having Forest Park in Springfield, in our world.

Visitors can explore the charming park and admire the imaginative designs that bring these iconic characters to life.

What an amazing place! My family only had an hour free in the area so we opted just to do the free sculpture park instead of the full museum tour. Parking was very easy. My kids were thrilled to see so many characters they knew and just run around outside. Can’t wait to return for the full museum experience but happy to have gotten to see the sculpture park.

This sculpture garden is right in the center of Springfield Museum plaza. There were a handful of copper/metallic sculptures of many famous Dr. Seuss characters. There’s also a giant book sculpture that has some famous verses from Dr Seuss engraved in it. The garden has elegant walking pavement covered by trees. It leads to entrances of four museums around the plaza. There’s also an outdoor tent for people to sit in front of the garden. Overall it’s a nice garden for families and kids.

The Springfield museums are very fun. My children, ages 6 and 7, LOVED the Dr. Seuss Museum. There was so much to do on the main level. We were exploring so many fun new things on the main level. The kids could have spent all day there. The upper level was more historic items from Dr. Seuss’s life and the basement had a reading nook and craft area for the kids.

The garden sculpture park was unique and Had several different areas with Dr Seuss characters. I enjoyed my visit

This is a cool little park that's open to public. But I recommend buying tickets for the surrounding museums for the best experience.

Symphonies
Springfield Symphony Hall is a historic Greek Revival performing arts venue that serves as the permanent home of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra. The orchestra, consisting of 80 members, has been performing at the hall since 1944. It hosts a variety of events including concerts, dance performances, and touring Broadway shows in its beautifully designed auditorium. Visitors have praised the courteous and professional staff as well as their experience seeing talented performers like Theresa Caputo.
This is a beautiful theater with an older feel. It has a decent amount of seating and is relatively comfortable for shows. I saw The Rock Orchestra by Candlelight here and it was amazing. My mom told me stories about the shows she used to see here when she was younger. The ushers were very helpful. The theater staff made sure there were plenty of restrooms available to keep the wait short during intermission.
Amanda-Lynn W — Google review
We saw Michael W Smith here. The balcony seats were surprisingly comfortable, though they had little leg room, especially the first round against the railing. Otherwise, it seemed like the views of the stage were great from no matter where you sit. The venue is beautiful. There are plenty of ushers around to help find seats. There is a parking garage right next door and the rates were affordable.
Ashley — Google review
We had a great time here, excellent symphony concert with comfortable seats and the building is beautiful. Everyone was friendly and helpful and it all made for a wonderful experience. There is parking across the street but my friend and I made an evening of it by going to MGM and getting free parking then after winning a little money we went out for dinner then ended it with a concert here. Worth a visit.
John P — Google review
I had not seen a show here since 1991! I was worried the theater may be disheveled. Theater is in tip top shape. The sound is still extraordinary and I'm looking forward to the next concert I see there.

Our second time here. Parking at MGM is easy, free, and convenient. Dinner first at the Casino. Symphony doors open at 7pm. You're best off starting to walk over at 7:25. The line has gone in.

This is a nice place to see a show. Great acoustics, comfortable seating, ok restrooms. We came for Phish in 1992 and again in 2025 for Trey acoustic and the room didn’t disappoint either time!!! 😊❤️⭕️
Melissa — Google review
We went to a show last night and sat in the balcony seats. I would not ever recommend these seats to anyone who is a bigger person or has any kind of knee or back problems. My knees were touching the seat in front of me. The seat itself was comfortable but very small all around. The view was good and the concert was great.
Tammy D — Google review
If you have disabilities one star would not recommend. Loved the show but super uncomfortable they should take out some seats and rows really the floor super sticky and gross. The person I came to see was amazing but the venue not good.

West Side Bar & Grill is a fantastic spot! The food was absolutely delicious - I highly recommend the [special dishes that they recommend time to time]! The atmosphere has a cool, modern vibe that's perfect for a casual night out. The staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Pretty cool place. Good food. Good drinks. Getting drinks is a little slow though. Great music and great atmosphere. The waitresses and hosts are awesome.
Reinaldo S — Google review
Worst food Ive had at a restaurant in years. My wife got the buffalo fish sandwich and said that the fish was cool when she bit into it. I had the buffalo chicken wrap which also came well under a safe temp. Unfortunately, the two bites I took and swallowed was enough to give me food poisoning last night. Also, the piece of chicken didn’t come in a wrap. It came on a bulky roll despite me asking for it on a wrap. It was the skinniest smallest piece of chicken I’ve ever seen served in my life. Still just two bites of it was enough to get me sick as a dog. This place clearly doesn’t train their cooks to be safe serve certified. No, we didn’t send the food back. We just asked for the bill and left. We were one of three tables in the establishment at the time, there was no rush at all. If you can’t safely, serve food to three tables there’s no point in sending the food back to get it right because you’re obviously a careless disaster. The waitress was also below average at best. After asking for the bill, she stopped to eat her own food for a couple of minutes before bringing it over to us.
David C — Google review
I had the pleasure of having Jada as my server. She was incredible and made my experience one to remember. When I come back I'll be requesting her. The food and service was excellent.
Brendan — Google review
Food was great, although the Big Easy was a little too spicy, and the Fish and Chips was a too fried. The made accommodations for the food allergies in the group. The waitress was great and really took care of our needs. The atmosphere was pretty loud. You could barely hear the musician. Most of the tables are hightops.
Tom G — Google review
The Tucson pizza was incredible. The brick decor and excellent liquor selection was outstanding. The place had a lot of character, would definitely come back.

Italian restaurant
Pizza restaurant
Red Rose Pizzeria in Springfield, Massachusetts is a family-owned and operated pizzeria known for its delicious pizza, salads, grinders, and authentic Italian dishes. The restaurant is run by a brother-sister pair who are dedicated to providing great food and excellent service. Visitors can expect a down-to-earth atmosphere with attentive and personable staff. Located near the MGM Casino, it offers a broad lunch menu at reasonable prices.
Heard a lot of good things about Red Rose Pizzeria and it was all true. The pizza was delicious! The entire pizza crust remained crispy and the toppings were tasty. Service was good and it was worth what we paid.
Carla F — Google review
At a table of 4 with diverse tastes. I had the renowned meat lasagna and salad it was worth the $16 price. Hot ,cheesy and stuffed with meat. My favorite is still the pizza thou. My cohorts had appetizer samplers and pasta. The Lemon drops are reportedly mixed to perfection which apparently is hard to come by.
Damien L — Google review
Meh. We came from out of town and came here due to a recommendation. We parked in their lot easily and were seated right away on a Saturday afternoon. Our waitress was very personable. It is a large space but kind of outdated. It was clean and bright though so that’s good. We had the garlic bread which I wouldn’t recommend. It seemed like slices of cheese were just melted between 2 pieces of bread and sort of served like grilled cheese. We also tried the calamari which was fine but not stand out. Lastly we had the Hawaiian pizza which was a good size and I did like the square cuts as that’s more my size of a piece of pizza. The best part was that it was my son’s birthday so we purchased a slice of cake and 5 wait staff came and sang to him and put a candle in the cake. Our waitress previously asked his name and remembered it so they used his name in the song. What a nice, special touch! They got an extra star for that alone.
Ashlee D — Google review
We had such a great experience here! After moving out of CT about a year ago, we have been missing the pizza. While visiting friends, it was decided we'd go-to Red Rose Pizzaria. It was a great choice. Pizza was amazing, as was the salad and bread. I also added on a bowl of soup and some chicken parm. Our server was very friendly and fun to talk with. Highly recommend this place and can't wait to visit again.
Barry E — Google review
Superb! The food was really good and a lot of the stuff seemed homemade! Awesome food! Even though it was busy we didn’t have to wait long for our food! The bread tasted awesome and do did the soup! I would 100 percent come back here! Do not hesitate to visit! Awesome Italian food!
Kitten — Google review
The pizza was good. Solid pizza you can't go wrong. The eggplant Parm was the best I've had in over 15 years. Not undercooked or over cooked. Not greasy. The sauce is a little sweet but there's not too much of it. The mozzarella is good and just the right amount. Thin sliced, no hint of bitterness.
Alexander H — Google review
We were in Springfield for the day and we’re so glad we chose Red Rose for our lunch spot. It’s a huge place so there was no wait even though we arrived at Noon. It’s an old-school vibe - the employees are friendly, helpful and attentive. Timeless places like Red Rose hold tremendous value for me as I get up there in years. The menu spoke to a family of four. Great pies, Italian classics and plenty of apps and salads. We opted for the small Sausage pie with Basil and it was piping hot and crisp on the bottom (unjust the way we prefer it). The Caprese salad was very fresh and the added grilled chicken breast was cooked to order. The Fried Mozzarella had enormous cheese pulls and the flavor was great (again made to order and not frozen). Overall the food was great and the pizza lived up to the lofty Barstool score. Even with the large free parking lot there were tons of cars coming in and out. There is a guy working the traffic and helped control the chaos. Locals clearly love this place and I’d recommend this place to anyone visiting Springfield. Thanks for the great experience.

Vietnamese restaurant
Restaurant
Bamboo House is a compact and unassuming restaurant offering a variety of Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. It's a pleasant surprise for those who enjoy Vietnamese cuisine, especially when looking for an alternative to the usual options. The menu includes favorites like Pho, fresh and fried spring rolls, butter chicken wings, and Vietnamese fried rice. The portions are generous, and the lemonade (limeade) is particularly tasty.
Love the food here. Pho, spring rolls + chicken wings and extra veggies ; go to order. Good service, small parking lot + street parking. Great salmon clay pots also.

Dinner was a home run! The best Vietnamese restaurant I ever ate at and I’ve been to many. First, The shrimp&pork spring rolls (#2) were very good. Next the pancake appetizer (#3) knocked it out of the park. The waiter said it was large and my wife and I therefore shared it. Do not share it! Everyone in your group will want their own. We also shared #37 which is a shrimp and pork combo on “vermicelli” noodles. It was also very good and a huge serving enough for two. The friendly service was excellent and prices modest. If anyone in your group prefers, they also have a complete Chinese menu with common dishes.

So far my fave place for Vietnamese cravings in the area. Friendly staff and hits all the spots when I’m craving Vietnamese food. Will return again when the cravings bother me 😂

😋Yummy!!! We had the shrimp spring rolls, yellow pancake and number 37, a pork and shrimp on vermicelli. The spring rolls were large and perfectly wrapped and were delicious with the two sauces. The vermicelli was just right and the yellow pancake was a surprise. I expected something like a seafood pancake add me, but this was a thin rice flour pancake as ke stuffed with bean sprouts, shrimp and ground pork. Wonderful meal!

Hidden gem. It's definitely a hole-in-the-wall type of appearance. The food is absolutely delicious. Big portions are a plus. Their lemonade (limeade) is yummy. The fried chicken wings are the best in the universe!!!!!

Okay I couldn't decide whether to give this place five stars or four. It definitely deserves five stars for the food. I used to live in a big city that was famous for their Thai restaurants, and this is the only place that is comparable. I absolutely love the food. Probably a family-run business, and could use some updating aesthetically. The last time we went, we were waited on by a teenage boy that acted like we were disturbing him by even being there. But I know it's not the owner's fault. Teenagers will be teenagers. The food is awesome though!

A nice surprise if you like Vietnamese cuisine. We found this place while our normal Vietnamese restaurant was closed for vacation. Now Bamboo house is a place we visit to change things up. We enjoy eating Pho, and Bamboo House is doing a good job with theirs. They have fresh and fried spring rolls and other dishes as well. The staff are nice. I believe if you like Vietnamese food, that you be happy here.

Me and my spouse were here for the first time, and to our surprise, all the food was delicious 😋, we had Massachusetts little leaf greens salad, i’ll be honest. I’ve never tried salad so good as this one! Definitely recommend for start before meal 👍🏼, we were here at dinner time so we ordered Braised beef short rib boneless, the meat was so tender so juicy and yummy 🤤, and also we had seared George’s bank scallop for the first time in our life! And oh boy, it is so delicious Definitely recommend, 👍🏼 the atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice and quiet, also very clean, the staff was very friendly , I would like to personally thank our server, Zoe B , she was the one who recommended these both dishes to us, thank you very much! . The staff, so attentive and warm! Our guests were so thoroughly impressed with the team, the food, the bar service, everything! The service and product coming from Lattitude is unmatched. We started off with appetizers. We both shared the oyster special and an order of calamari. The calamari had a nice spice sauce and jalapeños that were in the calamari appetizer. My wife had the Farrell Island salmon, which was a little well done and I had the short rib dinner, which was very tender and delicious. It came with a egg on top, which was overcooked. We had a nice bottle of cab Savignon Caymus wine with our meal, my wife had the tiramisu for dessert which she enjoyed immensely
James G — Google review
The 4.5 star average that Latitude has currently is inflated in my experience. I've eaten here twice, both for lunch: first experience was fine (4/5) and the second experience was rough (2/5). I'm not looking to unfairly rate this place two stars or below since some dishes are cooked and seasoned well, mostly the small plates. However, even at best it roughly delivers for the price with some hiccups most people would probably overlook (e.g. using Cool Whip instead of whipped cream). There are clearly consistency issues. The latest time was 1:30pm on a Saturday with a group of 9. Restaurant was empty, small plates were solid, ceaser salad was decent, but we had many issues from here on out: undercooked/raw pork that was attempted to be fixed by cooking longer 2x but still never was cooked through in the end, the same pork was bone in instead of boneless as stated on the menu, steak undercooked (ordered medium rare and came very rare), burger undercooked (same issue as the steak), service started to fall apart as a few additional tables filled, and there were even egg shell pieces in the tiramisu. Because of all the pork difficulties, the waiter (who discussed with a manager who wasn't there) offered to first comp a dessert then comp the meal plus give us one to take home for the repeated issues. The other issues didn't make the food inedible so weren't surfaced, but certainly hurt the experience. Other than for the possibility of finding egg shell in the tiramisu's custard, I'd recommend to skip it because it varries between fine and some bites being extremely bland. It's also topped with Cool Whip. Overall (on average): service is fine, atmosphere is nothing special, and the food is a miss with some ok dishes being the best case. If you must go, I'd pick something that can't be undercooked (pasta, sandwich, etc.), stick with small plates (e.g. calamari), and skip dessert. The 30y port wine was honestly the best part (and you can't undercook it 😆).

This place was fantastic! Our table ordered the cheese board, broccoli soup, steak, and chicken. Everything was perfectly cooked, seasoned and presented. We paid $150 for 4 of us. I was blown away at the quality of food and the portions! Shannon, our server, was the highlight of the night. They didn’t rush us at all, were genuinely kind, and caring. This place is in the top 2% of restaurant experiences I have had in my life and Shannon was in the top 1% of servers. Highly recommend this place. We will be back very soon!

Our compliments to the chef and staff! You do what you do extremely well which is hard to say now a days but you absolutely nailed it! You definitely won't be disappointed in the menu options or quality of food and service!! Looking forward to our next visit again! Thank you yet again for another great evening! On lower level, they have creative activities for kids. On second floor, there’s more history on the real life Dr. Seuss. Our 5yo spent about 1.5 hours here. Few associates are around to tidy up things and help guests. Restrooms are very well maintained.

Not worth the money unless you have time for the other museums as well. Very pricey just for the one. Kids had fun. Two stars off due to the security/staff - twice felt that one of the male staff was a bit too harsh. Once when it was just my young toddler playing with legos and she couldn't reach the bin they have in the middle of the table so I took it out for her. He came over to clean around her and told me the bin had to be put back (he didnt mean when she was done)....while she was still playing. Second when my preschooler was excitedly starting to run (dad was with him) and he had to tell him to stop running (in a rude manner) when again, we were there and obviously weren't going to let him continue to be unsafe. For a kid friendly place, the staff seem to need a bit more knowledge on how to interact with young kids and families.

It was very good, thankful we have EBT/snap benefits to help with the price. Definitely need plenty of time to see all 5 museums that are included in the ticket cost.

This museum and gardens has been on my bucket list for a while. It did not disappoint. Museum was great for this retired teacher and Seuss fan. Lots of activities for children. Seuss fun characters were adorable. Dr. Seuss family history try and personal work space just topped it off!

First, to mention, as per the signs, your children are not supposed to climb on any of the statues. I'm thrilled to tell you that the Dr. Seuss Museum is free! I had the best time exploring the museum without waiting in any lines. Although some rooms were more crowded than others, I had a blast checking out all the fantastic activities available for kids and adults. While the museum has a lot of information and pictures, it's filled with many whimsical statues that made me smile. Overall, it was an incredibly joyful experience that I'll never forget! The guides were beneficial and informative. (Except the one guide upstairs who tried to hit on my sister 😤) Upstairs, there is a room displaying Dr. Seuss's family tree. Photography and videography are strictly prohibited in this room due to the absence of copyrights. However, you are free to capture images and videos in all other rooms. Lastly. YOUR KIDS ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO CLIMB OR PLAY ON THE STATUES AS PER THE SIGNS!

Van Horn Park is a recreational area that offers a wide range of amenities. It features a large body of water and dense woodland, as well as facilities for baseball, tennis, and children's play. The park is well-maintained, with landscapers seen tidying up during visits. It provides a peaceful atmosphere to practice music or simply enjoy personal thoughts while observing kids at play. This open space also includes basketball courts, exercise areas, hiking trails, and is dog-friendly.
It is a lovely park to walk around with a lake-side view. I wish I had more to praise, but it was a small stop along the way, so I could not fully explore the area

Beautiful colors this week, mid to late October. Relatively empty, great place for a walk with friends, people playing basketball, some kids, sweet!

Really awesome paved trail. Love walking with my dog here. Even on warm days there's a lot of shade on the trail so I can still walk the pup. It sounds like you're in a bird sanctuary! Really beautiful. Unfortunately, my pictures do not do it justice. It was a very misty and gray day when I last went.

Great open park that has a little bit of everything from kids playground, baseball field, basketball courts, tennis courts, excersise area and hiking trails. Super dog friendly and a great place to de-stress from the everyday. Plus super clean!!

Van Horn Park is a nice place to hangout with family and friends. The park is serene and have a lot of amenities. It has a kids playground, gym, basketball court, baseball field, picnic areas, and a wide area to explore nature. The washrooms are also clean and well kept.

Park us great for my young son's, especially now with the new playground. The only problem is that the toys get burning hot when it's too sunny out. But the park is wonderful if the playground is too hot to play on the water park is right next to it.

Nice park so clean and peaceful, my first time being there I wasn’t able to find the lake but loved it just the same.

Nice park all around . Outdoor exercise equipment is quite lacking and needs repairs. Can get in plenty of cardio , but you'll need to bring some sort of weights or it's only body weight exercises.

Took way too long! Only one server, I asked upfront how long it would take for 2 dishes, he said 15 minutes. It took 45 minutes. The waiter didn’t bother to inform me or make amends. If I had known his sense of timing was so poor; I wouldn’t have ordered. There was only 1 other party of 2 people, otherwise it was empty. The barbecue chicken is more like a honey glaze fyi. Have been here several times

Fast food restaurant
McDonald's, a renowned and enduring fast-food franchise recognized for its hamburgers and fries, experienced an incident where a customer requested a Big Mac devoid of sauce, yet it was still present. Despite the unexpected inclusion of sauce, the patron decided to consume the burger due to their hunger and found it enjoyable. Regrettably, this choice resulted in feelings of queasiness caused by the sauce. Aside from this particular circumstance, the establishment provided exceptional service.
tonight, I visited this McDonald’s and had a small issue with my card. The staff was incredibly kind, patient, and professional in helping me. As an international student traveling in the U.S., I truly appreciated their understanding and warm attitude. It turned a stressful moment into a really comforting one. Thank you for the kindness — it meant a lot more than you may realize. Keep up the great work! you really make my day😭

Yesterday 3/30/25 I went around 5:30-6 to pick up some food that I ordered on the app, apparently for some reason my order was not reflected, I showed her the order and the location 2392 Main St Springfield Mass. I was in the correct place, the manager on duty told me that she could not find my order, I just asked her what I should do if I had to cancel it and make it again, and she yelled at me very angrily to go to another McDonald's that she was not going to serve me. All of this in front of my daughter. She is the manager, a chubby, grumpy blonde who is not good at providing good customer service.and the other employees on the phone

Went to this mcdonalds on 6/22/25 at around 7:40pm after a long 12hr shift of work and was met at the drive thru window by a young man in a black durag and blue shirt, not in a mcdonalds uniform. This young worker had one of the worst attitude I have ever encountered at a mcdonalds drive thru. The worker gave me 2 drinks and I politely asked for a cup holder twice and was completely ignored till my partner next to me mentioned it for a 3rd time and it was angrily given to us. Then, I was given the bag with food, but items were missing, so I tried to get the workers attention to let him know and he was trying his best to ignore us again. When I finally let him know about the items missing, he was really upset. Then, I really got him upset when I tried to catch his attention again cause I realized I was missing more items then i mentioned and the worker yelled "WE ARE ALREADY GETTING IT!" without even trying to hear what I had to say. In no moment was I disrespectful to this worker. Eventually, another older spanish male worker came, gave the worker at the window the bag and he handed the bag aggressively and things got out of hand after that. The worker and my partner began yelling at each other. I asked for a manager, but no one showed up and to avoid further escalation, I drove off. To the manager: you have to know your workers strengths and weaknesses or if they are having a bad day and place them at stations appropriately. That worker was in the worst mood that day and entirely lacked customer service skills and should not have been working drive thru or front counter.

This place sucks. No McDonald's is great but this one just sucks. If you select dine in, they won't bring you your food and put it in a to go bag rather than on a tray. All the tables are disgusting no matter how busy it is. I asked for no onions on my burger and got nothing but onions.

I hope this reaches to whom it may concern Got lunch for my coworkers I got there the order wasn’t ready. I’m asking I’m taking so long cause I have to get back to work. Occupational, I know you guys are busy but take the time to be courteous to the customers and I do speak Spanish just to let you know Got back to work they mess a few things, but it’s OK if it wasn’t for my coworkers I wouldn’t eat there anyways and I really don’t eat McDonald’s

Museum
Springfield Armory National Historic Site is a significant part of American history, having manufactured firearms for the military for nearly two centuries. Established in 1777 as George Washington's main arsenal during the Revolutionary War, it played a pivotal role in firearm innovation and mass production. The museum showcases an extensive collection of vintage guns spanning two centuries, offering insights into the technological advancements made at the armory.
It's small, but very well laid out, they made good use of the space so it seems larger. The exhibits are well done and everything is clean and meticulous. I'm assuming the funding is good, it's the nicest small museum I've ever been in. Recommend for either the type visitor that wants to go through quickly, or the visitor that likes to take their time, either way could work - we took our time, but you could make it a quick visit if you're short on time, but still want to visit some place. Entry is free. Handicap accessible.
Emily H — Google review
The Springfield Armory NHS is small but well organized, making it easy to explore. There’s a lot of interesting history on old guns and a nice variety of exhibits. The rangers are friendly and helpful, and the gift shop and restrooms are convenient. I also appreciated the many brochures for New England parks. Being on the grounds of a community college was a bit strange. Overall, it’s a neat spot for a quick visit if you’re in the area.

Oh wow yall, awesome experience the displays were amazing, the building was gorgeous and the Rangers were awesome. They did such a good job helping to explain the history. Another awesome American National Site experience!

This is a great site of American history. There wouldn't be an America if it were not for this armory. Great displays and friendly, helpful staff. If you're a fan of guns, this is your destination. I don't want to gove anything away by posting too many photos. You have to see it all for yourself.

Wonderful, historic National Park with very friendly and helpful staff and it's FREE to park and visit. The history and contribution to the US economy and manufacturing in particular from revolutionary war thru the modern times was amazing. Well worth the visit!!

Incredible museum! A great stop to see the firearms that played an instrumental role in the creation and in maintaining the USA. There are also kids activities to keep those that might not be old enough to understand the museum occupied. Ps. If you are a "firearms enthusiast" you must go and revel in what is there.

Very nice historical place. The guides are very informative and easy to talk to. You need about three hours to do the entire thing. The community college shares the grounds.

Restaurant
The Chandler Steakhouse, nestled within the vibrant MGM Springfield, elevates the dining experience in downtown Springfield to new heights. This exquisite venue combines the charm of the historic Union Building with a refined menu that showcases an impressive selection of fine wines and expertly aged cuts of meat. Guests can indulge in a culinary journey reminiscent of Las Vegas's finest establishments right at their doorstep. On a bustling Thursday evening, diners are welcomed into an elegant setting adorned with mahogany and leather accents.
Very high end establishment with an assortment of excellent steaks to choose from. My ribeye was seared to perfection. The waitress Alexandria was very polite and quick with getting us served. 10 stars if possible.
Robert B — Google review
The atmosphere looks phenomenal but service is slow. Ran out of tea several times. My husband said his steak and octopus were delicious. However, my steak was supposed to be medium well and it was charred black. The asparagus was tough and the sauce on the asparagus was yuk! The bread was delicious and fresh. The salad tasted good but they literally plopped a head of lettuce and threw some bacon, cheese, and dressing on it. Way more lettuce at the end of the salad. Our meal was paid for with my points so it felt free even though we know how much we have to play to obtain 300k points. Definitely not worth it. We still tipped 20% but we won't be back.
Jawana S — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) I was initially surprised to see Chandler Steakhouse rated at just 3.5 stars, but I’m so glad I didn’t let that stop me from dining here. As a self-proclaimed foodie from New York City, living near Boston and accustomed to high-end restaurants, I can confidently say this place is a gem. The ambiance transported me straight to Vegas—gorgeous velvet booths, an elegant and romantic vibe, and a stunning interior that exudes sophistication. The food was exceptional. We ordered the $70 ribeye, and it was worth every penny—cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The fully stocked bar was a highlight, offering creative freedom to craft custom cocktails. I enjoyed a fantastic blueberry lemon drop and a passionfruit martini, both tailored to my taste and absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable, truly white-glove, making the experience feel luxurious from start to finish. You get what you pay for, and Chandler Steakhouse delivers on every level. I can’t wait to return for another unforgettable meal!
Steph R — Google review
An underrated steakhouse, in my opinion. My filet mignon with truffle crust was awesome. The peach creme brulee was good but a little bit too ambitious. Service was spectacular as always!
Jeffrey C — Google review
Steals cooked to perfection, delicious cocktails, and great atmosphere! The truffle macaroni and cheese was not the best I’ve had (I believe there were truffle slices not grinder bits as I’m accustomed to-which lead to inconsistent flavoring of the dish); the whipped potatoes however were so good. Overall a great meal!
Alyssa B — Google review
Chandler Steakhouse has some real highlights, but also a few disappointments. The filet mignon was absolutely delicious—cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The complimentary bread was warm, soft, and a great start to the meal. I also really enjoyed the blue cheese dressing on the wedge salad—it had a bold, rich flavor that really stood out. However, the salad itself had a strange chewy texture I couldn’t quite identify. It was off-putting and took away from what could’ve been a great dish. The biggest letdown, though, was the creamed spinach. It was tough, hard to chew, and completely lacked cream—it felt more like sautéed spinach than anything creamy. Great steak, great bread, but a few sides missed the mark. I hope they make some adjustments because this place has real potential. Warm regards, Dennis Schleicher YouTuber with over 90K subscribers and content creator on Instagram

Do not expect top end steaks at the casino. They are far from top end. Ordered $180 al la cart 40 oz tomahawk steaks for two and was very disappointed at the misadvertised serving size (it's <15oz) with excessive amounts of fat. Everyone left hungry. Will never host my events there again.

Restaurant
TAP Sports Bar is a vibrant gem nestled within the MGM resort, perfect for sports enthusiasts and casual diners alike. Whether you're catching an exhilarating game on one of the many large screens or simply enjoying a laid-back atmosphere, this bar has something for everyone. The extensive menu features fan-favorite dishes that are sure to satisfy your cravings, complemented by a wide selection of beers to quench your thirst.
I recently visited TAP Sports Bar in the MGM Casino at Springfield, Massachusetts, and had a terrific time tasting their tantalizing treats. I went all out and tried the Bling Burger—a truly unique experience. This extravagant burger features two all-beef patties, coated in 24K gold leaf, with all the classic toppings: American cheese, mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, and onion. Paired with golden-dusted fries, it was a fun and flashy indulgence. Ever wonder what a gold-wrapped burger tastes like? It’s just as delicious as any high-quality burger, with a dash of ketchup and mustard for that timeless taste. Alongside, I enjoyed an expertly crafted Old Fashioned, with quality cherries and just the right balance of flavors. For dessert, I tackled a towering, oversized sundae loaded with whipped cream, colorful sprinkles, and topped with a bright cherry—perfect for sharing! The atmosphere was lively, with tunes and televisions adding to the thrill. Everyone seemed thrilled to be there, and the bar staff was truly attentive, ensuring our table had everything we needed. With ample seating, we felt comfortably accommodated throughout our visit. If you’re seeking tasty tavern treats in a thrilling atmosphere, TAP Sports Bar is definitely worth a trip!

The service here is great along with their food. Their burgers are OK a little bit flavorless but I would suggest anything else. A little bit pricey, but you would expect that in a casino. It is much better than the food court.

This was our first time here. We did not think the casino was anything special however we loved the TAP sports bar. Our server was attentive. The food was delicious and priced reasonably. We all got different dishes and no one was disappointed. The bar was fully stocked. The atmosphere was laid back comfortable. Several large televisions scattered. We would not take the one hour trip for the casino but we might for the TAP sports bar.

Went here for my birthday. Received a horrible experience. They served me a crusty moldy bun on my burger and after I complained, no one from management approached me. I believe his name was Randy. He was too busy flirting with the two women behind my table to acknowledge that we were staring at him to get his attention. My fiancée even got up herself and approached another manager to explain the situation. After they were well aware of the situation NEITHER manager on duty approached our table to apologize for serving such a disgusting burger. I completely lost my appetite and nothing was compensated, we still had to pay $77 dollars for a terrible experience. What angers me is that it must have been intentionally served to us this way because there’s no way you can’t notice that. Very disappointing I will never return and I seriously will not recommend this place to anyone.

Came here before we watched the Barbie movie. Very sports bar and sports bar menu. Nothing really stuck out as phenomenal to me. We ordered the nachos. The nachos I will say that they did come out with a lot of cheese but I've had better .My son of course ordered his mozzarellas sticks which came out very cold and bland. They didn't have any gluten-free buns available which is very disappointing because you should have that if you're serving burgers and sandwiches. But I did order the pulled chicken sandwich without a bun. And my son had the mac and cheese which he enjoyed. My friends also had the burgers which they quite enjoyed themselves but they don't have to be gluten-free like myself so they got a bun.

Breakfast restaurant
Route 66 Diner, located at 950 Bay St, Springfield, MA 01109-2426, is a classic diner offering a true diner dining experience. The place has been in business for many years and is known for its delicious food. The atmosphere is reminiscent of old-fashioned diners with booths and bar seating available. Customers can enjoy jukeboxes at the tables and a cozy, quiet environment.
Quick place to grab some grub, stopped in and ordered some breakfast very friendly and home town feeling, if you’re in the area this is probably the place to stop. I recommend a stop here.
Kenyo V — Google review
This diner has decent food overall, but there are some serious issues with pricing. The menu shows one price, but when you get the final bill, it’s significantly higher. It feels misleading. For example, we paid $7 for just two glasses of Coke, which is outrageous. As for the food, it was mostly good, but the potatoes were overcooked and tough in some spots. If they were more transparent with their prices, the experience would be much better.
Евгений Б — Google review
Small, 50s style diner with basic breakfast foods—eggs, pancakes, grits, hash—with a lot of different meat choices! The staff is always super friendly and food comes out quickly. I always get grits and eggs along with a new kind of meat, their hot beef and kielbasa always are A+. Pancakes are fluffy, eggs are runny, coffee is hot! It is cash only, but there is an ATM on site. There are also little jukeboxes to have music with your fifth cup of coffee! There is limited seating, so large parties over 4 or 5 would need to go at the bar or be split up in between booths.

The food is good fresh diner food. Five star or two star is more about what you choose off the menu. I wrote my review after having a simple egg sandwich. It was fresh, the coffee is good, and the service is great. If you have bad service you may need to ask how you presented yourself. If you want to be pampered and fawned over when you eat out either be under the age of 10 or don't go to any diner.

While in the area working today, I found this nostalgic looking diner and made a last-minute decision to give them a call and order a breakfast sandwich. It almost didn't happen because I had a limited amount of time available, but the gentleman I spoke with made it happen for me. He was a nice guy and very accommodating. The woman that greeted me when I walked in was great too. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on a hard roll. It was a little bit greasy, but not bad. The only knock on the experience/place was the pricing. $8.00 for a sandwich is definitely on the high side. Actually, I have never paid so much for one of these anywhere, ever. Good news is I no longer feel bad about the places I've gone to that charged me just over $5.00 for a breakfast sandwich... The place was very busy. Fair warning, they are cash only, but there is an ATM here, so it's not too bad. I did notice a couple of other customers were not happy about this. They have juke boxes at the tables, which is cool. assuming they are functional.

This place is surely a hidden treasure. The food was exceptional and the waitress was very friendly and informative. She was positively correct in recommending the turkey bacon - crispy and delectable. And, the grits were amongst the best I've ever eaten.

Grandma used to take me here when I was a baby. Been in business for many many years. Food is great! I got the hot beef sausage, potatoes with peppers and onions, scrambled eggs with American cheese, wheat toast and hot coffee breakfast. My company ordered the hot beef sausage, fried fish, grits, eggs fried hard, wheat toast and hot coffee breakfast. They have booths and stools to sit at the counter. Great atmosphere. Pretty quiet. It's like having breakfast with your neighbors 🙂

Great little spot for simple breakfast fare. Portions are good and prices reasonable. The menu is small, so it's easy to pick out what you want without wasting too much time. Service is friendly and quick. Food hot and yummy. The atmosphere is great, it's and old style cart with old jukeboxes at each table and confined seating, which is it's only downside. I will definitely be visiting here again. Oh yeah the grits are great!

Ahalna Foods, located conveniently close to the airport, offers an exceptional dining experience. Their Falafel pita is unparalleled in taste and their znood boasts a satisfying crunchiness. Whether you visit for lunch or dinner, they serve generous portions and provide top-tier customer service. The shawarma plates are simply delicious and their food is so good that one could eat it every day without growing tired of it.
This was an absolutely wonderful sandwich! Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The bread was soft yet sturdy, the fillings were generous, and every bite was packed with taste. Truly satisfying and worth every penny. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Very confused about the yellow rice usually this rice is white with the herbs and flavor it had. The lamb flavor was on point but the chicken one idk it wasn't for me. The breading they had wasn't good. I wouldn't eat here again

Ahalna Foods – A Hidden Gem with Heart and Flavor If you're looking for a place that feels like home and tastes like heaven, Ahalna Foods is it. This cozy, family-run spot is a true local treasure. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with genuine hospitality and the kind of warmth that only comes from a place built with love. The food? Absolutely delicious. Every dish is made with care, and you can taste the tradition in every bite. My personal favorite is the shawarma—perfectly seasoned, tender, and wrapped up in a way that makes you want to order seconds before you're even halfway through the first. But don’t stop there—their other plates are just as delightful. Whether it's grilled meats, fresh salads, or savory sides, everything is bursting with flavor. Ahalna Foods isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a reminder of how good food and good people make life better. Highly recommend stopping by and supporting this wonderful local family business.

A coworker recommended this spot and I was not disappointed. After going the first time I was back the same day to get more food for my husband to try. It seems to be a family owned restaurant and both staff were very helpful and welcoming. I’m recommending this place to everyone !!

You gotta come get this food. I saw this on google maps and had to stop by to see this “hole in the wall” and it did not disappoint. The lady taking my order was great and put love into making the food. I got the chicken shawarma plate and I was more than full for less than $20. Only thing I wish was that the veggies were inside the wrap but still everything was delicious. Don’t let the outside deter you, it’s a safe area. Plenty of kids walking down the side walk. I did pass it the first time, but there is a good size parking lot right next to some picnic tables with umbrellas.

I have eaten a lot of lamb kebabs in my life, and I can confidently say that Ahalna Foods made me the best lamb kebab platter I have ever eaten on the west side of the Connecticut River. Everything is made fresh, and it tastes fresh. The Saffron Rice is extremely flavorful and soft, the lamb is well-seasoned and cooked expertly, and the fire-roasted onion and tomato were beautifully charred. They give you a lot of food for a very reasonable price. The service is friendly, and you can tell the owner takes pride in what he does. It’s important to know that this is not fast-food like McDonald’s, despite the takeout window you place your order from. I am thankful that it is not fast food either - wait times are very respectable if you understand that you are at Ahalna for the excellent preparation of the food. The atmosphere is nothing fancy, but it is clean and respectable. There is no indoor eating space, but there are picnic tables outside (takeout is probably the way to go at this spot). This is a no-frills local eatery, not a fine-dining establishment. If you want interior decorating and white linen table cloths, go somewhere else - just know that you’ll be missing out on some excellent food.

Today we had dinner from Ahalna food and they didn’t disappoint, the lamb and chicken kebab was very well grilled and the rice was excellently balanced. I appreciate the owners effort to make every single dish perfectly cooked and balanced. Will definitely return and consider for future catering.
