Mayfield Dinner Theatre

Performing arts theater
Buffet restaurant
The Mayfield Dinner theatre is a luxurious performing arts theater that features Broadway-style musicals and other shows. It is the perfect place to enjoy an intimate show with your significant other. The dinner buffet offers a variety of dishes to choose from, making it the perfect meal for any occasion.
We attended the production of Nashville Music City. We all found the show to be very professional and the performers excellent. The show had a nice mix of storytelling and songs showing the development of country music from the 1940s to today. The buffet was also very good as I enjoyed the roast beef and yorkshire pudding. The beef was tender and tasty.
Arose58 — Google review
After a mix-up with the ticket show times, which was rectified in a timely manner, we were able to enjoy the Jersey Boys dinner & show. The buffet food selections was delicious, and we were all impressed with the show - what a great performance from everyone involved!!
Victoria C — Google review
Did not expect this place to be so big and grand. The buffet was amazing. We went for the brunch show and it was packed. They do give you a full 2 hours to eat before the main show begins. They are a little bit more expensive than Jubilations , however, the food here has a lot more variety and yummy desserts. Definitely recommend.
Karl D — Google review
I was pleasantly surprised with my experience last night. Normally, I don't enjoy dinner theatre (bad experiences at Jubilations). We went to see 'The Full Monty'. The food was excellent, and the drinks were tasty. Dessert, in particular, also hit the spot nicely (especially the cheesecake). A few minor complaints were that the roast beef would have been easier to consume if we were given proper knives. Trying to cut the meat with a butter knife was a challenge. While a kitchen staff member was swapping a tray for a new one, I was asked to move out of the line for them to do their job only to be cut in front of by a rude older gentleman, whose wife then apologized that he cut in front of me. Sitting side stage where we were is also not recommended as almost every member of our table had a stiff neck by the time the show was over. Other than that, we all had a nice time out, and I'd actually come back here again.
Brittney S — Google review
Saw Jersey Boys - it was awesome. The notes the actors were hitting was insane! The food was delicious and hot. They let me keep my dessert plate at the table after the buffet closed so I ate it during intermission.
Milann B — Google review
Shirley Valentine was a big hit with the seniors group that I travelled with to attend the Mayfield DinnerTheatre for a Wednesday brunch performance. We were moved to laughter and tears by the play and impressed with the stellar performance by the actress who performed this award winning one-women show. The food and service were excellent, as always. Coming here is always a treat!
Trudy G — Google review
Fabulous experience! Excellent from friendly helpful booking to the Delicious buffet choices and the performance. Can't say enough about the Simon and Garfunkel show!! Bonus, the seats have been recovered and refurbished. Much more comfortable! Excellent as usual Mayfield team!
Ellen M — Google review
As always was an amazing show. Food has been consistently good for 15+ years. People always mention that the tickets are expensive for $130. But anywhere else if you go for dinner first to a nice restaurant with good quality food like this you’re paying $60-$80 per person. Then even if you get cheap tickets to show $50-$60 would be common. Definitely worth the money for a very well done show, great service and very, very good food.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of options, including daily specials, ensuring that there is something to satisfy every craving. The buns are always fresh, sourced locally, while the meat used in their burgers is also locally obtained. Customers rave about the helpful and polite young staff who provide excellent service.
Let me start by applauding the team on their exceptional customer service. We had allergy concerns and they verified with us multiple times to make sure they had them down right. Thank you!!!!! The burgers were YUMMY. Everything tasted fresh, buns were soft, toppings were bussing. We had an amazing dinner here! Kudos to the whole team. Try the burger with the peanut butter.

Such a great spot for a burger & some yummy treats! Theres an amazing kind crew there that is just so helpful & efficient! You got to try the dole whip ice-cream when it’s their special!!!! So good!!!! My fave is the bbq crunch burger or hangover burger - those are always a good time and don’t forget the captain crunch milk shake. Out of this world. Highly recommend this yummy establishment filled with variety of choices for burgers, fries, milkshakes and all things good to make you smile!!!

Great quick lunch option. They have a gluten free bun option which was delicious. Could try a double next time. The gluten free chicken tenders were amazing. The sauce was very tasty. Absolutely LOVED that they had a dedicated frier for fries. Will definitely be back again.

First time here. Will never waste my money again. Patty was paper thin. The poutine was balnd and unappealing. The staff were polite and and had smiles. I would not recommend this place . Find someplace that has actual patties

I've heard great things about this place and finally tried it out. First, great price, huge burger for $12.50. Secondly it tastes delicious. I like how soft the bun was! I got the the shroom burger and it was absolutely delicious. It tastes very "homemade" I can see why people rave about this place!

I don't typically leave reviews but I can't let this one go. The owner of Jack's Burger Shack St. Albert needs to learn some etiquette on how to treat customers. I will NEVER be back strictly based on my experience this evening. I visited there a month or so ago and loved the burger. My second visit last night, unfortunately, was disappointing only because I didn't realize the burger came with onions and I didn't ask for it without. The menu is a little hard to read in that regard, but I see it did come with onions once the staff explained it to me. I bragged the burgers up to my mother in law so we decided to go back tonight. I explained about the burger last night and thought it was reasonable to ask for one of the burgers we were ordering to be comped for last night's situation. The employees seemed uptight and now I know why. The owner is a tyrant and they're probably scared of him. He laughed that I brought the burger to show that I only had a couple bites and wasn't just trying for a free burger. He went on to tell me very angrily that he's losing money if he comps me. A few other things were said... its a bit of blur it was so shocking. At that point, I told my very uncomfortable looking mother in law that we're leaving. He may have lost $$ giving me one free burger tonight, even if I were in the wrong, but we were also going to order another burger, some fries and milkshakes. I just moved to the area and I'm within walking distance. I probably would've been a weekly customer and brought my friends and family there many times over the coming years but I will never be back now. He would've made his money back pretty quickly and then some. Smash Burger up the street makes a pretty mean burger too. Might not be as close but they're always polite and seem to know the value of a customer. I can also buy my own ground beef from Darcy's Meats and make my own burger so I'm good!! Take care Jack's Burger Shack... you suck!!
Lisa G — Google review
I got take out. I ordered the classic burger, instead of the shroom. This is one of the best burgers Ive had in metro-edm in years. The meat was seasoned properly, the bun was perfect for the type of burger, with lettuce tomato and pickle. Delixious, go here.
B B — Google review
I was in there recently thought id try something new and was told it was a good spot. Customer service was pretty lame, the cooks were not using gloves so all our food was handled with bare hands, the girl who took our order was then on the line as well putting together burgers. I ordered a poutine, cheese were cubes and didnt melt and the gravy was very unappealing to the eye. I wont go back due to the gloves not being used, makes me wonder if their hands are clean!!!!!

The Arden Theatre in St. Albert is a premier live entertainment venue with 509 seats, offering a diverse range of performances including national and local musical acts, drama, and dance events. The theater recently hosted the St. Albert Children's Theatre production of 'Buddy the Elf,' providing an entertaining experience for families. While the lobby and change rooms are relatively small for larger events, the comfortable seating provides excellent views of the stage. The venue is well-located, allowing visitors to explore St.
We attended the Thursday night performances outside of the Arden Theatre. Excellent idea fir summer night performances. Staff was on point and very helpful and friendly! When it started raining staff was there wiping chairs and keeping everyone comfortable. Excellent performances from the starter band Vissia and the headliner was even better! Wendy McNeill was a breathe of fresh air! Love her music!!

I attended the Arden Theatre Plaza live music series on a Thursday night recently...and couldn't have been more pleased. The only 'admission' is to bring your own chair. I will return several times this season. Don't miss it! Cheers.

This a great venue for intimate concerts and other shows. With a capacity of about 500 there is no bad sight lines. The seating is comfortable. Easy access to the theatre. My wife and I have been here a couple of times for concerts and thoroughly enjoyed them. The sound is high quality. The whole experience was great. I would recommend coming here for any show because it’s comfortable and the ambiance is great.

We went for the Tri-City Ratpack. The theatre was cozy and welcoming. Acoustics were great and the show was a blast. Would definitely go to the Arden again

We attended the 2019 Cheremosh Ukrainian dance festival at the Arden theatre. The theatre is lovely with plenty of comfortable seating that offers excellent views of the stage. However, the lobby and the change rooms are quite small for this type of event. The theatre is well-situated and offers visitors a chance to explore the beauty of St. Albert’s river valley or enjoy the shops and restaurants of its downtown core.

Nature & Parks
The Borealis Light display at Riel Recreation Park offers a diverse range of lighting setups, providing a worthwhile experience for visitors. The greeter stationed near the entrance collects donations in a bucket, implying the need for contributions. To show support, it is advisable to bring canned food items or a hot coffee for the greeter. The park boasts beautiful walkways that are dog-friendly and equipped with picnic tables featuring barbecues suitable for both wood and charcoal fires.
In winter it is an unforgettable sight. Every day there are a lot of cars, you drive through a fabulous atmosphere, there is a festive mood here.

Went for the Borealis Light and had good experience of different types of lighting setup. It's worth the money. The greeter was standing in the cold and collecting donations. I assumed as there was a bucket beside him, but I did not bring anything. I will for sure bring some can items and a hot coffee for him.

This is the only "official" boat launch that gives you quick and direct access to Big Lake - unless you want to paddle upriver from downtown St. Albert or portage from other spots. The actual address is : 2 Rodeo Drive, St. Albert, Alberta, T8N 0Z8 Once you arrive, the boat launch itself is located behind the BLESS cabin at the end of the parking loop - look for the short dirt path leading down to the river across from the paved trail. The Launch is an aluminum rolling dock which stays at the same height throughout the season - they sometimes adjust it according to the water levels. The path down there/area itself is all dirt so expect it to be mud on rainier days - why they haven't thrown some rocks down there yet is beyond me. This launch can definitely get busy during the Summer months so come prepared to wait in a "launch" line during peak hours so keep that in mind for parking as well. If you can't find parking in the roundabout, you may have to drop your boat off and park in the gravel parking lot across from the RV park - its a short walk. Bylaw has also been known to sometimes ticket vehicles that park on the side of the road in front of the RV park and Soccer/Rugby Fields - so be advised. The conditions on Big Lake and the Sturgeon river are highly dependent on precipitation year round. Conditions later in the paddling Season (August, September) will usually be worse than May/June - however that can change if we receive decent rain. Plant life and low spots can cause extreme difficulty when the water levels are low. Its a lovely beginner paddle with lots of wildlife and at times mosquitoes. People leaving bad reviews about the conditions of the water have no idea how much it can actually fluctuate from year to year and month to month - but don't expect Lake Louise out there it's mainly a marshy wetland! You can check out our website/socials for updates as well as boat tours and rentals! @ruralrivers Have fun paddling!

Beautiful but a wee bit cold today. Nice to have such nice walkways Dog friendly Even have picnic tables with bbqs for wood or charcoal fire. Also have alcohol areas around the table area to enjoy a beer (byoa) with your bbq'ed steak ect.
Shane C — Google review
We recently did a bike ride on the St. Albert trails and made a stop at the Riel Rec. Park. There are picnic tables next to the parking area with fire pits and bonus there is wood available for use. I brought along a few craft beers and noticed that this area permitted alcohol which worked out great. The park is very large with lots of room for families to sit, play, eat and have a fire. If you decide to drive it might be tough to find a parking spot as it is a very busy area. This is also the area where St. Albert had the ice skating trail this past winter. I have been to this location previously but to kayak as the city has installed a seasonal dock in the river. There is also a wooden covered canopy for cooking, so it is a great multi-use location. It is worth checking out.

Plates of Green Curry, Spicy Pineapple Curry & Pad Cha, each with Coconut Rice, plus a thai-coconut milk iced coffee. Absolutely delicious! Very reasonable prices, too. Less than $60 for 3 people. This place is underrated! Will definitely go back.

Best Thai restaurant. Me and my husband love the food over here. I love their tofu pad Thai (with extra onions and spicy😋), it is my all time favourite that no other restaurant can match. Chef Adam knows our order and a huge shoutout to him for cooking excellent food.
Navjot M — Google review
My partner and I dined at Songkran for lunch yesterday with two friends. We ordered the green curry, pad thai tom yam, cashew nut stir fry and a curry listed on their specials board (I don't recall the name, but it contained pork, pineapple and ginger). We also had mango sticky rice for dessert. We were blown away by the food - it was authentic, flavorful, and filling. Everything we ordered was a 5/5. The Thai coffee and Thai iced tea were amazing too. Keep in mind that it is a bit on the sweeter side though. The waitress had a cheerful personality and the service was extremely quick. We would go back again in a heartbeat!

Had the dinner special, northern Hang Lay curry and my spouse had teriyaki pork. Both dishes were exceptional and very large. Veggie spring rolls also very good!

Hidden gem. They had so many options, it was hard to chose. The categories on the menu were arranged nicely in appetizers, soups, salads, noodle and rice dishes. The price with meat/seafood was at the bottom. The atmosphere was nicely decorated with a cozy vibe, little outdated but still nice. The service was okay, not the greatest English speakers, but worth the visit because the authenticity of the food. They had cute Thai aluminum dishes. We ordered the salad rolls to start, the peanut dipping sauce was amazing. As well as the pad Thai with seafood and chicken curry vegetables with a side of coconut rice. They were reasonable portions and flavors were amazing. We had leftovers to bring home.

Tried a soup I have never had. Kow Soi with yellow curry broth, chicken, shrimp, veggies and wide egg noodles. I liked the flavours and the chicken, shrimp and veg were cooked nicley. The wide noodles were very rubbery and I didn't really care for them but I assume they are supposed to taste like that and have the texture they had. The place is definitely showing a lot of wear. The covring on the booths is very worn. Decent spot for lunch but not where I would take someone on a date. I will definitely go back and try some of the other dishes as the ones being served to the other tables smelled and looked great.
Dean E — Google review
The restaurant has an older style atmosphere, once you walked in to the restaurant you could smell how amazing the food was going to be. The service was fast! Very efficient and straight to the point. I went at lunch where there’s a s specific lunch menu! It did not disappoint. The options were incredible! I had soup and spring rolls. Let me tell you how perfectly deep fried the rolls were, they were honestly textured the best I’ve had in along time. It was a lot of carrot flavor. Next I had the won ton soup, I ordered this without Shrimp & it was phenomenal. The soup had a nice mix of vegetables & meat without it being a Wor Won Ton.

This delightful restaurant offers a taste of Italy with its authentic pasta dishes and warm ambiance, making it perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. Since changing ownership in January 2019, Luisa Risto continues to impress locals and visitors alike with its inviting atmosphere and delectable menu options.
Very busy place due to limited space. Best to make a reservation. We had a table outside, it was perfect. Good weather. The food was delicious. However, the Margherita pizza wasn't as flavorful as the pasta's. Good service and friendly staffs.

Absolutely delicious, authentic Italian food served hot and fresh, and bursting with flavour! I’m so glad we found this place, I will be recommending it to people I know and will be coming back here again soon. The service was also beyond exceptional. With a vibrant and boisterous atmosphere, this is the place to go on a Friday for dinner! I’ve been to Italy and have travelled across Europe, and the food here still impressed me. Very well done, Luisa Risto!!!

Ed is the best! Right from the first moment, we called to book a reso, they offered a set time but also said we could come early and sit at the bar to enjoy a drink before our table was ready. They advised about the ample parking in the back. We arrived and were greeted with nothing but EXCELLENT service. We couldn't decide what to order but Ed helped us. We picked two items and he chose for us. I cannot stress how absolutely amazing this experience was. I will always recommend someone to check out this place. We had the aracini balls, the artisnal bread for appys. Cannelloni and lasagna for dinner - monster lasagna and huge canelloni. For dessert we had the cheese cake flight. Three kinds. The pina colada, chocolate and new York with blueberry compote. TO DIE FOR. I dont really like coconut but that pina colada cheesecake was the most amazing tasting thing ever.

We didn't have a reservation since it was a spontaneous trip to the area, but we still got seated immediately 😊 Our server was really nice and always made sure we were comfy and enjoying our meal. We ordered a lot just to try them out lol the portions are large, maybe good for 2 people each plate. Orders: Espresso martini Luisa spritz Calamari Meat lover's pizza 🍕 😋 Lasagna Carbonara Tiramisu Everything was delicious! Calamari melts in your mouth. Drinks were perfect as recommended. We'll be going back next time to try the other items in the menu.

Effing Seafoods on Riel Drive is a delightful destination for seafood lovers, offering a unique and personal shopping experience. With a focus on cleanliness and customer service, this market allows one customer at a time to ensure an intimate atmosphere. Many patrons rave about the exceptional quality of their oysters and other seafood offerings. After winning a seafood platter, one lucky family discovered just how special Effing Seafoods can be—perfect for celebrating new beginnings!
Cannot say anything negative about this place. My boyfriend and I had a lackluster meal at a very expensive seafood place in Edmonton and instead of risking another bad meal, we decided to do it ourselves. The prices are amazing as far as inland prices can be, the person helping was knowledgeable and friendly. The meal itself....oh, my effing god. It was amazing!!! We ate crab and prawns for days and I cannot wait to get more.. still riding that crab high 😍

I’m thrilled to share my experience with Effing Seafood after winning a seafood platter for two. I typically go there to purchase their amazing oysters. Their staff is knowledgeable, friendly and genuine. My wife and I just became proud parents of a beautiful baby. 🥳👶 And after being sleep deprived after our first week post home birth. I received a call that I had won a platter for two. I had completely forgotten I had entered this contest…. But what an amazing gift to have as a new family. The instructions are easy to follow. It was a great way for us new parents to have a mini date night! Thank you for the amazing food and amazing service!

An absolute gem and a must visit for any seafood fans in the St. Albert and Edmonton area. We have been going to Effing for years now as they always have consistent quality and variety. I really appreciate that they will only bring in seafood if it's of excellent quality and they know where it comes from. I can not speak highly enough about this lovely establishment and the very friendly and helpful staff.

The Fish Club is a great way to get your hands on the best seafood around, and they offer delivery on this monthly subscription, which is handy if you live in Edmonton 😀 Rob and the team go above and beyond - from the variety, sustainable and top notch products, quality packaging and customer service... I highly recommend that you support this small business! You will not be disappointed.

Ordered the robs choice pack, Online it says you get fish like ora king bellies, tuna, swordfish and john dory. What they actually send is cheap cuts like haddock and sole, two small crab cakes a 2 lb bag of shrimp and 2 small pieces of halibut. Update, I got a call from effing seafoods explaining the products and value associated with each product. Total in store retail value comes to the same price as you pay for the robs choice pack. So no cost savings in buying the pack. You’re better off to just order what you want and know exactly what you’re getting. The quality of the products looks good just wasn’t what I was expecting for the money. Maybe the robs choice pack had my expectations set way too high.

We got some sashimi grade BC steelhead salmon and fresh scallops for our DIY sushi night and it turned out amazing! The person in charge gave great advice on the selection available, and was super friendly. Will definitely be back soon :)

We pre-ordered 6 dozen oysters for Father's Day and were very happy with the price, quality, and customer service. Price was lower than any other place I checked, each dozen was a different variety all from P.E.I., and we even received a phone call as a reminder for pickup day/time. Upon request they were able to package in a Styrofoam cooler to help us transport home. This will be our new go to.

Additionally, it provides various dining options on-site and frequent live entertainment. This compact casino has garnered praise for its affordability, as evident from the reasonably priced restaurant menu items that often attract long queues. The staff members are consistently courteous and professional, while the clientele also exhibit a friendly demeanor.
My friends threw me a surprise birthday bash at the bar! The band M.A.R.S. was rocking out with some awesome tunes. The food was delicious, and we all had a blast. Definitely coming back for more!

We recently decided to do breakfast at the St. Albert Casino location on a Saturday and was pleasantly pleased with it. The servers were 2 young guys and we found them to be very responsive and effective. My wife ordered the eggs Benny and found it to be tasty and filling. I had the sirloin steak and asked for it to be medium rare! They nailed the steak! It was cooked perfectly however it was not a good cut of steak. It had absolutely no taste to it. The eggs were good and the toast was just ok. Lots of coffee and it had a great taste. We will go back again!

Can’t speak to the whole casino experience, but I can say that Prime Rib Thursdays are excellent. The food is always top-notch. The prime rib is cooked perfectly, flavorful, and generous in portion. It’s clear the kitchen knows what they’re doing. The staff are also fantastic — friendly, attentive, and make you feel welcome every time. While I haven't played at the casino itself, the space looks clean and well-maintained throughout. Based on the dining experience alone, I’d definitely recommend checking it out on a Thursday night!

We checked out the Thursday dinner special for $9.99 Roast Beef. Not bad, tasty and quick to come to the table. After we tried our luck with the slot machines. Fun atmosphere and friendly staff. A well kept establishment. I would totally go again to check out other nightly dinner specials. For the price offered.

This place and it's people are awesome and always have been. With the larger ownership group now and what they have brought to the table , it maybe the most welcoming and engaging entertainment house north of the Dakotas. Yes I could a bit biased from previously working there for 6 years and enjoyed every minute of it, but recently I revisited and looks and feel's even better. Recently retired from a different career, I could easily assimilate back to this group .My hands go together to Century for maintaining and enhancing such a wonderful place! Prime Rib to kill!

Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature at St. Albert Botanic Park, a charming five-acre botanical garden located in St. Albert. This picturesque park showcases an array of meticulously cultivated trees, shrubs, perennials, and vegetables across themed gardens such as flowering trees, evergreens, xeriscape, shade, and cottage-style perennials.
A beautiful garden in a small city. Clean and well maintained. A nice place to spend an hour or even the whole afternoon. I visited during the week and it was pretty empty which gave me a lot of time to take photos. Definitely a must visit when in St Albert.

Story time hosted by St. Albert Public Library in the Orchard was lovely. Our son enjoyed the reading and sing alongs with all the props. We then took in a nice walk to see the blooming peonies.

For a small city, this is such a beautiful place. The volunteers do a wonderful job. A perfect place to walk in the evening or weekend.

We stumbled upon the botanical gardens by accident during a spontaneous drive to St. Albert from Edmonton. What a find! It has been quite hot lately and it's near the end of the year so I imagine everything would be even brighter during the earlier months, but as it was the gardens were absolutely lovely to walk through and quite a gem to find! We will most definitely be back. We are seniors so we really appreciated the multiple benches dotted throughout the garden so we could sit and rest up, and having all the plants named was a big bonus as well too. Apparently the gazebo is a recent feature. And it looks like there may be more additions coming in the future. Highly recommend this lovely visual and fragrant walk in St Albert! PS: The free parking was much appreciated as well, and the gift shop was charming!

It was the end of the season but still a very nice facility. You can see the hard work just by looking at how well the beds have been weeded. It looks very well maintained. The different types of flowers and trees are numerous. It looks like a great place to take wedding photos. There is also a very nice Gazebo. I find that the whole city is always looking Prim, trimed & proper! I am from Edmonton & we have decided to go with the more natural look!! Way to go St. Alberta! No charge $

If you're looking for a fantastic way to beat the heat this summer, look no further than Woodlands Water Play Park in St. Albert! This newly renovated gem is not just any ordinary splash pad; it boasts a medieval theme and is one of North America's largest zero-depth spray parks. Spanning an impressive 1,100 square meters, the park features three distinct play zones filled with over 20 exciting spray elements.
Really great park & spray park for children of all ages. Playground equipment targeted toward ages 5-12, but my 1yo and 3yo also really enjoyed. Water in the spray area not too cold, and there are gentler spray sections for younger children. First aid on site. Washrooms on site. Concession on site. Plenty of shaded space and picnic tables + benches throughout the park. Lots of parking. It does get quite busy in the summer time, so go early to stake out your spot. You could easily spend all day here.

This place is great! Huge spray park area, playground on the other side, lots of seating/ benches that are covered to stay cool, bathrooms located on site. I wish the concession was open for ice cream because it was a smoking hot day!

Great place for family and kids. Easy escape from everyday routine as it is not far away from Edmonton and it's very easy access. The park has a couple of different style fountains, seating area with the shades, a lots of trees around so no worries of being sunburned. There is also nice playing area for the kids with a couple of different climbing instalations and slides. I like that there is a public restroom and changing area that it is very well maintained and it's free of charge.

A fun free splash park for kids and family's. Great place to be on a hot summer day. There's a nice playground here as well and plenty of covered seating to stay out of the sun. There's also plenty of space to set up in the grass for a picnic to make it a full day family outing. The concession is reasonably priced considering there is no cost to enter the park. Definitely recommend
Mike O — Google review
What’s not to love about a spray park, especially on a hot summer day. Along with the spray park there is also a playground and a food kiosk. Washroom facilities are available here. This is a real nice facility. I definitely recommend this place especially for families.

My 9 year old daughter went here for a field trip and loved the park itself. The 1 star rating is for the lady running the concession. She was rude to my daughter when she ordered French fries. My daughter asked for a small fry (she would never order a large). She gave her $10 to pay and the lady gave her $3 back. My daughter said "don't I get $5 back?" The lady rudely said "no you ordered a large fry!"y daughters like "no I didn't " and the lady working aggressively took the $3 from my daughter's hand and threw a $5 bill at her. This is horrible behaviour and unacceptable!

Woodlands Water Play Park is a fantastic free-to-use public area with plenty of space to bring blankets and set up lawn chairs. The spray deck itself is clean, and the park has equipment big (and small) enough for kids of all ages to enjoy. It's a fantastic way to get out of the heat and tire the kids out. This is exactly the kind of thing I want to see my tax dollars going towards.

If you're on the hunt for a fantastic gaming experience, look no further than "Mission: Fun & Games." This family-friendly haven is not just about games; it's an adventure waiting to unfold! With a charming castle-like exterior and easy parking, it’s hard to resist stopping by. The staff here are incredibly courteous and knowledgeable, making every visit feel special. Family friendly environment. Staff are courteous and extremely knowledgeable. Kids picked out Disney game cards and the excitement and encouragement from the staff member Nick was infectious and made the kids day even more than the cards! Will only purchase cards from this location from now on for the pure joy it brought my children! Was able to pick up a good selection of model paints and brushes and found many obscure and interesting board games that I will definitely be back for. The Skirmish Sunday is ran by a fellow who's love for games is clear. the group of gamers runs from the casual to extremely competitive while still being a very welcoming environment. possibly the perfect game store.

They sold me a broken $7 miniature as “new” — and I came from out of town The box was stapled shut. No seal, no warning. Inside — a clearly damaged, returned figure, just thrown back on the shelf like nothing happened. I’m not local — returning it isn’t even an option, even with the receipt. And they probably counted on that. It’s “just $7”, but this was deliberate. If they’re willing to scam travelers on cheap items, imagine what else they’re hiding. I won’t be spending another cent here — and neither should you.

Drove 3 hours to visit this Edmonton store for games. Good store with a unique outside castle look. Easy to find with good parking. Taste Of Ukraine

Ukrainian restaurant
Taste of Ukraine offers an authentic Ukrainian dining experience in a richly decorated old-world dining room. The family-owned restaurant aims to transport customers to Ukraine without leaving their hometown. They also provide catering and bulk orders for those who want to bring the experience home. The food is praised for its wonderful flavors, textures, and presentation, with outstanding sauces. The atmosphere is traditional and welcoming, adorned with original artwork from Ukraine.
My sister and I grabbed a bite to eat at Taste of Ukraine 🇺🇦. Neither of us had been there and were delighted with the friendly service and delicious food. First of all, the atmosphere was lovely. The main lights were low but they had some additional fairy-like lighting with a decorative accent tree in the middle of the dining space. Paired with the gentle Ukrainian music playing, it gave the place a classy vibe. The murals along the walls are also very beautiful. To start, I got myself the Ukillini, their twist on a bellini to make it look like the Ukrainian flag. It was refreshing and sweet. Then we shared two entrees, which came with a side of perogies as well as an additional side. I chose the kovbasa and kraut (ham garlic sausage and sauerkraut) with the additional side of nalysnyky (cheese crepe roll with dill cream sauce). I was blown away by the airy and creamy texture of the crepe. The skin of the savoury sausage was a bit tough, but they provided a sharp knife to cut it into bite-sized pieces. As you would suspect, the perogies were top notch, with the exterior dough being soft and delicate and the inside potato mash, smooth and packed with flavour. My sister chose the dnipro dream (salmon wrapped in a puff pastry with lemon dill sauce) and the cabbage rolls in tomato sauce. If you come, I highly recommend getting the salmon! The combination of flavours and textures was amazing. The cabbage rolls were tasty as well and made a good side option. While we were full from our meal, we managed to find some room for dessert and tried their mini cherry perogies and mini blueberry perogies. Both came with a side of vanilla ice cream. I couldn't decide which was better but my sister chose the cherry for its both its sweet and tart flavour. You could also tell the blueberries were fresh had that "made with love" feeling to them. I highly recommend trying this place. Just make sure you double-check their hours of operation before you go.

We had an amazing mid-week meal at Taste of Ukraine!! We last ate at Taste of Ukraine nearly 15 years ago, and since moving out of Canada have really missed having decent perogis. Our recent meal definitely lived up to our expectations! I loved the option of having a mix of sides rather than a main meal, and the kids meals were perfect for our little ones 😋 I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Ukrainian food!!!
Tamara J — Google review
We went for their Mother’s Day 3 course meal, and everything was SO GOOD!! They catered to my vegetarian needs, swapping out the meat for some other sides. It has such a cozy atmosphere — makes you feel like you’re really in Ukraine!

Very authentic and unique surroundings aaaand of course one of the tastiest pierogi around. Can seat large groups and do pickup too.

We ordered take-out dinner for a multi-generation family get-together. Andrew gave fantastic recommendations as to what would be best/simplest for a buffet-style dinner and how much to order per person. The food was on time, hot and ready to go when we came to pick it up, and it was very well packaged. Everything was a hit, and the chicken skewers were a particular favorite. The quantity was perfect. Highly (HIGHLY) recommended.
Esther S — Google review
I highly recommend this place, we had a fantastic dinner here each of us trying something different and we were all satisfied with the flavours and quality of the food. The drinks were also pretty good. The atmosphere was quite nice.

We celebrated my birthday dinner as a group of eight recently. The restaurant was full so very glad that we had reservations. Andrew, as our server, took superb care of us from the moment we arrived. The service and the food were all excellent. We ordered the special four-course dinner and my friends all took their personal menus to share with family members, feeling very impressed with everything. It was a totally memorable evening and couldn’t have been better! We will be chatting about it for a long time and will definitely be back! Thank you, Andrew! 💕💕

Definitely a hidden gem. Only complaint is we waited for over 50 minutes and there was only one other table occupied when we walked in.The food was delicious, hot and more than enough as a serving. Their potato soup was the best I've had in a long time. Our server was friendly and efficient filling water, checking on us and remembering a takeout order before we left. Their breakfast looks so good and next on the agenda. Try this place out, you won't be sorry.

Attended a retirement party at the Flame Kitchen so the restaurant was closed for the private party. Staff was accommodating and friendly. Food was delicious and flavorful. The meal ended with tiramisu and it was silky and delicious!

I love this cafe! I go here to study pretty often, and I always get a black coffee (delicious) and a berry white chocolate scone (even more delicious!)! It’s a great environment to relax, study and chat in, and the employees always deliver great service!
Reeve P — Google review
Stopped in to try to get some studying done on a Saturday afternoon. The staff was pretty unenthusiastic, but my drink was made quickly, however I wasn't asked if I would be staying in or to go, so I was given my Chai in a paper cup, and cookie in a paper sleeve. The chai latte was very bland and ginger forward, and definitely unsweetened, and the ginger cookie was very dry and crumbly. Something to keep in mind is that a lot of seniors come through, and have a bit of an entitled attitude toward which tables they get, as they don't want to sit toward the back, and will ask you to move from your table, I had multiple people ask me in the 30 minutes I was there. I do not intend on returning.
Danielle K — Google review
My friends and I recently visted this location and , and sadly, our experience was far from pleasant due to an interaction with one of the male staff members. Throughout our visit, he repeatedly made rude and disgusted faces at us, which made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. His attitude was condescending, and some of his behaviours and the faces he made felt racially motivated. We were looking forward to enjoying our time, but this male staff's behavior ruined the atmosphere. This experience has left us feeling unsafe and unwated. I DO NOT recommend this location to others. I hope the management addresses this kind of unprofessional behavior and educated their staff on professionalism and respect to help foster a welcoming enviornment.

Went here as I'd heard they had a great Chai latte. Unfortunately I was disappointed in the taste, was quite watered down. However the atmosphere and my ginger cookie was fantastic. I'll give them another try the next time I'm in that neighborhood

Crystal B — Google review
Been there twice in a week. Won't return. The service is not the greatest, food is bleh and expensive (over 8$ for a cheese croissant with ham). The dirtiness of the washroom makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen. The sink was spotted, the wall beside it was covered in strikes of dirty water, the toilet was spotted with splats of feces and urine and the wall beside the toilet was covered with unknown substances. After initially reporting it to the customer service, I went back a second time to verify if my complaint had been heard. I'm sadly reporting that not much cleaning has been made. I won't go back there.

Dear Lord this was amazing!! Quick day date with my love The staff was awesome with great recommendations that were spot on We got 3 tacos each but that was too much, 2 is enough for a full meal. We had the carnitas, el pastor and fish taco and they were full of flavor and meat. Can't wait to go again today 🤣 We don't live anywhere near but happen to go through St Albert for Costco so was a great find.

First time at the restaurant, had the Queso Fundido as pictured and a couple Superior Margaritas. Was disappointed with the taco chips as they are just store bought , one would think they would be homemade in a restaurant like this. Queso sauce was very bland and flavourless, same with the salsa. Drinks were good but at $ 17 bucks a pop they should be. Also had Chick al pastor and the Carnitas tacos , both not pictured . They were actually pretty good. The young man serving , also made the drinks, his service was excellent .Over all at around $ 100 bucks for lunch, not somewhere I would go back anytime soon.

The waitress was extremely knowledgeable and the menu is very GF friendly. It was so delicious, I enjoyed the Mexican street corn for an appetizer and the Chicken Tinga Salad. Both were great dishes!
Keri P — Google review
I guess it is okay, if you're not looking for mexican food. Service was good. That's pretty much it. If you're into tostitos cheese dip heated up and mixed with something (unknown stuff) then get the queso fundido. If you enjoy BBQ sauce on your "mexican street corn" then this is it. As for the tacos, maybe a salad would be nice. I wouldn't know. Wish I would've tried that. Worst 70+ spent. Agree to disagree. Happy ordering!

Credo has a very good reputation in St. Albert but after 3 visits I would rate it as just a little better than O.K. Service is good but when there is more than a couple of people there it is very noisy. Menus seem to have been printer on cheap paper by a home printer that is running out of ink. The tacos taste ok but contrary to the “loaded” claim they are not particularly well stuffed. At least that was the case in my most recent lunch time visit.
Bob B — Google review
5 stars all around. Service was friendly and quick, the food was amazing, and definitely a great experience eating here. I had the chorizo tacos and ear of corn, it was the some of best food I’ve had in awhile. I’ll be back for sure!
Anonimus 1 — Google review
The Carnitas tacos here are bomb. Meat was moist tender. Toppings went well with the pork. Chorizo sausage taco was decent. Sausage was on the drier side. They were in the process of moving, so didn't have some tacos/ingredients. The nachos came out promptly, however the tacos took a while to come out. I'd probably give this place another try after they move to their new location.

Credos Tacos & Tequila. If you love tacos, this place is for you. Lots to choose from. The Gringo tacos are my favorite along with a lime slushy margarita! New location is right across from Costco. I highly recommend this place.

It's known for its luxurious brunch experience with dishes like Lobster Eggs Benedict and Truffle Scrambled Eggs. The elegant atmosphere and attentive service make it a perfect place to make anyone feel like royalty while enjoying a high-end dining experience.
Came here for my birthday dinner and we were not disappointed. Everything from the appetizers to the mocktail, to the entrees and dessert were excellent. The service was incredible. The only downside was that it was very loud. We came for a romantic date night and almost had to yell at each other to be heard. There was a large party of women celebrating a birthday though and was of no fault of the establishment. Excellent food, excellent service.

Came here for a birthday dinner and it did not disappoint. When we walked in we were greeted with a smile and very friendly host. We made a reservation and were seated as soon as we arrived. I came with my girlfriend and ordered the risotto and mussels to start with and they were delicious. Risotto was rich and not starchy whatsoever, the beef short rib was very tender and was a great temperature when it arrived to our table. It stayed hot while we ate between the mussels and the risotto. The mussels were also just as good, but I would prefer 3-4 pieces of bread to soak up the sauce the mussels were in. The fries that came along with the mussels were also solid. They weren’t greasy nor starchy and very enjoyable to snack on as we waited for our mains. I had ordered the aged 10oz picanha and she ordered the balsamic chicken and we received both around the 40 minute mark. Presentation was nice, steak was very tender and a perfectly cooked rare. The crispy artichokes weren’t my thing but my girlfriend loved them although everything else on the plate was delightful. The potato purée was as smooth as I had expected and the flavor was even better than I had anticipated. The balsamic chicken was cooked to a perfect temperature and was very juicy. The skin was a great crisp and even with the balsamic glaze it did not become soggy whatsoever even til the end of the meal. The crispy brussel sprouts were a favorite and their was a blanket all across the plate which we loved. The atmosphere was very pleasing and the lighting certainly made the food more appealing. It was very loud inside the restaurant and found that we had to really raise our voices to hear each other and ended up sitting closer to one another. Overall, it was an amazing dinner and a great experience. I will definitely be coming back soon!

Delicious high-quality food and wonderful service! We’ll definitely be back! The rack of lamb was so tender, I think you could cut through with a butter knife. Absolutely cooked to perfection!

Food was incredible. Service was impeccable with timeliness on serving drinks\starter\entrees as well as clearing the table. Everyone was lovely. We ordered the croquettes, the feature which was halibut and a starter sized short rib risotto (I don't eat a whole lot but my partner still helped me finish my meal). My partner enjoyed the old fashion and I enjoyed the snow-jito. We left there feeling great about the meal we had and look forward to going back sometime

The menu is a testament to the culinary team's creativity and attention to detail. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted, bringing together old favorites and new discoveries that delight the palate. It has been quite a while since we dined at XIX but glad we gave it another try as everything was delicious! We had the new menu item, Lobster Risotto and the Tenderloin steak. Lots of lobster and scallops in the Risotto with a delicious sauce and the steak was done to perfection. Great service as well.

Very cute place to dine! We went on a casual date night, it was a great experience. Great Food! I would definitely say the salmon was on the saltier side. However both the fish and chicken dishes were juicy and tender. Definitely on the pricier side and you will have to wait for a bit as the meals took a while to come out.

Absolutely delicious!!! My husband and I came here for our first wedding anniversary, very intimate setting and the food was amazing! The burrata appetizer just melts in your mouth… I couldn’t recommend the food more!
Jolene M — Google review
We celebrated my parents' 50th wedding anniversary at Riverbank Bistro, and it was truly spectacular! We reserved the restaurant and patio side, where we carefully selected a menu and drinks that perfectly complemented our celebration. The ambiance was warm and inviting both inside and outside, and the patio setting enhanced the entire experience. Each hand-picked dish of the high-end appetizers was delicious, and the quality and presentation of the cocktails, wine, and beer were impressive. The service surpassed our expectations – it was exceptional! Dan, the owner and chef, exemplified professionalism and made the planning process seamless, as well as the management of the party. We wholeheartedly recommend Riverbank Bistro for any dining experience or special occasion. You won’t be disappointed! Enjoy!

Had wonderful birthday dinner. Food was great quality, service was above and beyond, drinks were nice. Would love to come back in summer when the patio is open.

The food here is great. The atmosphere is dark and dusty. I wish there was more view of the river and the beautiful greenery! It would really brighten this place up and give it some charm.

This is a fantastic experience and is worth the drive from anywhere. We’ve been here multiple times and the food and service are amazing every time without fail. This is a must visit❣️
Mike T — Google review
Excellent food, excellent service. The atmosphere could be a bit more intimate. The appetizers and main course were amazing, the dessert was good but didn't live up to the other courses. They could do with a larger selection of non-alcoholic beer and cocktails. Overall an amazing experience and we will definitely be back. Update: we had our anniversary dinner last night in the lounge. The atmosphere was more intimate and quite lovely. They have updated their mocktail menu and their non-alcoholic beer selection. We had mushroom bruschetta to start, which was lovely with a beautiful mushroom flavor. The sourdough from breadlove was top-notch. I had the fish feature, absolutely delicious. The flavors were just perfect. My partner had the pork schnitzel and said it was very good. The creme brule for dessert was also very nice. One of my favorite restaurants for quality and flavor while remaining affordable. I'm excited to see their winter menu!

The Riverbank Bistro is situated along a river, therefore has beautiful views. The atmosphere is very traditional, warm and friendly. The food was excellent, great value for the price. The only downside, the service was a bit slow, so I wouldn't dine there if I was in a hurry. However, the waitress was very accommodating and friendly. I definitely recommend it.

Bubble tea store

Tealicious Blend, located in downtown St. Albert, offers a unique Korean-style fluffy egg sandwich experience that is worth trying. The cafe serves massive and delicious buttery brioche toast sandwiches with various filling options such as spam and egg, smoked salmon, beef teriyaki, BLT, and garlic bacon cheese. The space provides a nice stop-and-go bubble tea cafe atmosphere where friendly staff greet you upon arrival.
Consistently amazing—deserves all 5 stars! After many happy visits to Tealicious Blend, I truly believe the owners deserve this glowing review. Every time we stop by for our bubble tea fix and snacks, the experience is always satisfying. The location is fantastic—right off St. Albert Trail near downtown, with easy parking. It's no surprise they were voted one of the best businesses in St. Albert! On our latest visit, I enjoyed my favorite milk tea along with a delicious Smoked Salmon Sandwich—so flavorful and satisfying. I also picked up bubble teas for my family: Cookies & Cream, Taro, and a classic Milk Tea. We were lucky to catch their awesome promo: buy 3 bubble teas, get 1 free! Such a thoughtful perk for customers. The service is fast and friendly, and the space is clean, cozy, and very family-friendly. My mom also appreciates the comfortable seating, and the kids will love their claw machine—it’s a win for everyone! Highly recommend this spot for great food, great drinks, and genuine hospitality. - Ronette

I live in Edmonton, and only ever had tealicious from uber eats before, but I decided to venture out to St Albert today and its definitely worth the trip! The food is so much better fresh and the service is super good and fast! Hokkaido cheesecake boba is my favorite. 😌🧡

A cozy, welcoming restaurant I’ve driven by many times and don’t know existed! Simple food menu and many, many drink options!! My favourite is the Spam egg sandwich, but everything I’ve tried has all been excellent!

The sandwiches are to die for!!! So soft and melts in your mouth.... the bubble tea is good too but come here for the sandwiches! On a side note, they also have a claw machine that is actually fair and you can win the stuffies 😊.
Christina H — Google review
Kawaii! What a cute cafe, with a little plushy claw machine! I had the #3 combo (avocado bacon sandwich, reg fries, taro milk w/tapioca) $19.25 +tax. MY GOODNESS the sandwich slaps harder than Vasilii Kamotskii and looks identical to the menu picture for the gram. The egg was done perfectly and not to heavy or greasy. Toast was also amazing. The fries look and taste like the Costco ones that are crispy... iykyn these are great. Taro milk tea was delicious, at least I think it was, I only had 1 sip before my partner necked it like a pledge on haze week.

Its a nice place and clean. I wish they added more of the special sauce on the entire sandwich. They are very fast and they customized it for us to be able to eat.

Had a great time here with friends for a quick bite and drink!! Really friendly service and had a great chat with the bartender Tyler, I think. A few more vegetarian options would be nice, but I definitely understand it's a burger spot, lol.

We love this restaurant with our family or even a date night! We visited on Saturday for lunch and enjoyed the patio. Fantastic service & great food. Always clean and tidy. There are 3 tacos with the meal, one was already done before I remembered to take a picture!

Mushroom Burger and Cajun Chicken Tacos were delicious. Service staff was super friendly. Food took a little while but can't really complain given the circumstances of the COVID reopening. A+ thanks guys.

Definitely not the same anymore. The menu has changed completely since my last visit and not for the better. The burger patty was totally overcook to such an extent that it was difficult to swallow. The creative flair that I used to love of this place is gone and you might as well go buy a burger at one of the fast food joints. It will be cheaper and juicier.

First time eating here last night was an amazing experience. The restaurant is small but very clean, organized and nicely decorated. The staff are wonderful and attentive. Our food came quick and was so fresh and delicious. A small restaurant with big flavour. The food offered was quite tasty and filling with an emphasis on tasty. The menu is quite varied and there was something for everyone in my party. We ordered via a table-side tablet and the interface was easy to use and navigate. Food arrived fast and hot with little delay between order and receiving it. Staff were very professional and friendly, making sure that all the customers were taken care of. One thing to note, when we were eating there we were provided samples of the new menu items.

Amazing sushi, one of the best in the Edmonton area. Despite being very busy the service was prompt and the food was excellent. 10/10 would recommend.
Blake D — Google review
The first time experience here was excellent. The staff was very friendly and very coordinated. Very nice atmosphere. Ordered a variety of appetizers and basic rolls which were all very delicious. Price level relative to portions appeared to be reasonable and comparable to other sushi places with 4.5+ star ratings. They offered a couple of their special fried rolls (on the house) to sample, which was a very unique experience. Very clever move - will certainly come back to try a bunch of the special rolls next time. The place will fill up very quickly during the lunch rush.

This is always our favourite shi restaurant! We have sushi everywhere we travel and have not found anything better! I love that they do not put too much rice in their rolls, making them so tasty!

Me and my family have frequented this St Albert sushi place for the past 4 years. The sushi is always consistent and the portions of sashimi are larger; the rolls are very delicious and our favourites are the Saint Albert and French kiss. There is usually a lineup and there are no reservations so be wary and be prepared to deal with parking frustration. Value wise the best in my opinion in Saint Albert as of present.

Tandoori Fuzion is a remarkable fine dining establishment nestled in the vibrant heart of St. Albert, Alberta. This culinary gem invites diners to embark on a flavorful journey through ancient recipes that tantalize both adventurous palates and those of younger food enthusiasts alike. The restaurant prides itself on delivering an authentic experience without compromise, ensuring that every dish reflects the rich heritage of Indian cuisine.
Visited the restaurant for the first time today while we were in the St. Albert area. Apparently they are operating in the area for several years and in the current location since last few years. The restaurant was easy to locate, had free parking area and had many seating places inside as well as outside seating area. Overall the decor was simple, elegant and was super clean. Food options were good and Shubham, manager / owner was super helpful in suggesting the options and recommending the ideal combination. Food itself was quite tasty and portions were of good size. While the food was close to being authentic Indian, it was not too spicy or hot. Overall we found the place good value for money and will visit again next time we are in the area.

This place is SO GOOD! Every single thing we had was nothing short of excellent! Honestly the food was incredibly delicious. We enjoyed it so much! 20 out of 10 dining experience. Food was amazing. We liked sitting outside too, they have a nice outdoor patio. My wife and I each had lunch specials which came with an assortment of things for $17 and we left 150% satisfied.

The most amazing meal here this evening!!! From the fresh and crispy (GF) pakora to the beef vindaloo, daal and tandoori chicken - even the mango lassies - everything was hot, fresh and so flavourful. Our entire meal was gluten free - tons of GF choices - each and every item was lovely. We will for sure be coming back here in person and making this place a staple in our family. A must try! Extremely kind staff who were attentive and also helped with menu items, suggestions and recommendations. Thank you!

Our first visit to this gem in St. Albert was an absolute delight! The service was impeccable from the moment we stepped inside. The manager, who also happens to be the owner, greeted us warmly. The store was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. And let’s not forget the food—it was bursting with flavor and deliciousness! I highly recommend this branch.

Absolutely Delicious! Tandoori Fusion in St. Albert is a hidden gem! The food is bursting with authentic flavour — from the perfectly spiced butter chicken to the tender tandoori meats and fresh naan straight from the oven. The portions are generous, and the service is always warm and welcoming. You can tell they care about quality and consistency. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, it’s a fantastic experience every time. Highly recommend for anyone craving amazing Indian cuisine!

We ordered murgh makhanwala and butter naan. The chicken was absolutely delicious and fresh. The gravy was not like the canned sauce gravy like most restaurants uses. The naan were very soft and buttery. As a food critic, these are must try menu options

WOW! I know it’s located in St.Albert, but eating here you’re in flavour town. We were kindly greeted at the door, while also having a very attentive waiter. The menu was full of incredible options from meat lovers dreams, to vegetarian delights, also offering you the dishes in a number of spice level for your enjoyment. So many amazing options for anyone and their flavour pallet. The food was fresh, the dishes were beautiful and well presented. Now to the best part the taste!!!!! Let me tell you best flavours you could ever imagine. We were able to order a number of dishes to share and the portions were great for those whom want a bit of left overs or those whom would like to share. All the dishes can be paired with a number of delicious rice options again allowing the customer to suit their preference for the greatest outcome. We greatly enjoyed the experience, it was both great service and amazing food… what more could you ask for. Definitely a top hit for me! Ps… You gotta try the cheese stuffed naan bread, you’ll thank me later. :)

there were so many vendors to visit, treats to be tried and fun creations to discover! everybody was so friendly and we had a great time meeting new people and discovering new things I didn't know that I needed! it was a fun date idea and I definitely recommend it to others. rain or shine! go get yourself some treats.

There are plenty to see!! I love the fresh fruits and flowers. It’s a very big farmer’s market so make sure you wear comfortable shoes. Plus bring a hat or a portable mini fan. Bring a tote bag! A big one 🤣 It was a pleasure to meet local vendors and be able to learn about their products. We went on August 9 and it was a hot summer day, but we had some cold lemonade which made it perfect. Rain or shine, 10am to 3pm you can find a whole whist of goodies at the market on Saturdays from June to October.

Always lots of great vendors and activities! The only thing that gets to me is how busy it gets, since I'm not a fan of large crowds. Some of the prices are pretty high and some out to lunch, people think that just cuz it's local it's ok to over charge. All in all though it's a decent outing on a Saturday!

Busy place but lovely. A lot of nice fresh produce. Very good vendors.

Prepare your wallet because there's lots of absolutely delicious and unique products (and samples galore to reel you in). It's a very large market, so I would recommend going earlier on in the day to get your fill. If you love local products and niche treats, you absolutely love the St. Albert Farmer's Market My only complaint is that parking gets *very* hectic and sparse (we were driving around for a good 30 mins before finding a spot that was a good walk away from the market).

WOW!!! Blocks of Farmers market. Heck ya!!!!!! Fresh vegetables- don’t necessarily stop at the first booth there are several with an assortment of options. Fresh strawberries that were so sweet and delicious. Beautiful hand made pottery, fresh flowers, and food trucks line the streets. There seemed to be security walking around and it felt very safe and friendly. It was hot the day we went and I would encourage bringing water and plan for breaks if you have little ones. We saw lots of folks with wagons and that would have been a good idea. Dog friendly. It was our first time here and we will be back.

I love the vibe of farmers’ market, lots of food trucks with many options for vegetarians , fresh vegetables and fruits are my favorite, freshly prepared bakery items and kimchis, kambuchas , raw and pasteurized honey I buy from here. Woodwork , craftwork, paintings and many more things. It opens only on Saturdays 10am to 3 pm. We have parked bit away from the market but it wasn’t difficult we got parking spot easily beside road.

La Crema is a high quality cafe that offers great coffee and delicious food. The staff are friendly and polite, and the washroom facilities are always clean. It's currently not possible to dine in, but that will change in the near future. The atmosphere of La Crema is great, with a warm and cozy feel.
This place is the heart and soul of downtown St. Albert. Such a lovely place to sit and enjoy their PHENOMENAL coffee as well as amazing assortments of snacks. We would recommend the caramel macchiato or the caramel latte with oat milk, both were absolutely wonderful. The ham croissant was also amazing. Every song they played slapped so hard and the decor is so cozy and homely. Their little treat selection looked so sublime, we were too full after our sandwiches but can’t wait to come back to try them! Would recommend!

What a delightful lunch spot! Everything was perfectly splendid. You can truly tell that they put lots of love into what they do. This spot also makes such a wonderful place for a coffee date.

Local, great atmosphere, friendly staff. Trying for the first time! I am impressed. It’s not easy to get a good matcha latte. They will make with custom sweetness which is really important to me! It’s a busy Saturday, with the Farmers Market but they have tons of staff and the wait time is not long at all. I will certainly be back!
Shellie C — Google review
Ordered a cappuccino and a vanilla pumpkin spiced latte. The cashier was very nice and friendly, but the overall service wasn't good, especially for the price. It wasn't busy at all, but we waited over 20 minutes for our order that came out in to go cups instead of mugs and we really didn't feel like they cared at all because they just said; "my co-worker messed up and put them in to go cups, but the coffees will be ready in a couple minutes" the pumpkin spiced latte was terrible compared to the previous time I was there, and the cappuccino was way over-steamed/too hot. 2 stars because the cashier was kind and the atmosphere was great aside from needing cleaning. I would not recommend this shop, I'd recommend going to whisk and get a way better coffee with better service and a cleaner place.

This is a very cute cafe with well thought out decor. The customer service is super sweet, and they make sure that you're not waiting forever for your order. There's a great variety of seating which is all very comfortable, including the tucked away booths. The music is set at the perfect volume and has some great choice of songs and melodies. The food and drinks are nice and filling, I love a good soup of the day. Parking is quite easy to find, and there's not too much traffic in the area. I'm glad a place like this exists, I'll definitely be back again.

Very cute and quiet place for a coffee. The decor is genuine and locally made, which gives it an inviting old-time feeling. The mugs are a nice touch. The neighbourhood is welcoming and the perfect place for a stroll if you were to take your coffee to go. I ordered the breakfast wrap which was mediocre, nothing to write home about. That’s the only reason I wouldn’t give it a full 5 starts. Next time I’d like to try the breakfast bagel which seems to be the most popular. The coffee itself tasted great. Bold and well made. Prices are comparable to any other cafe. An extra shot of espresso $1, which is reasonable. I would definitely order again if I’m in the area.

This is a great cafe and study spot in St. Albert! The atmosphere is great and the food and drink options are great! They offer plenty of gluten free desert options (I cannot vouch for the lunch options since I haven't had any) I have had many different drinks from here and they've all been very good! I recently started my matcha journey and tried the strawberry matcha the other day. I think if I didn't get oat milk it would have been better, the oat milk they use has a very strong oat flavor that is almost overpowering (and it does not use certified gluten free oats) other than that it was delish

This place is a favorite of a friend of mine, who is a local. I can see why it's a repeat visit kind of place! Great food and café variety drink selection. Creative tasty sandwiches, soup, salads, baked treats, and even quiches! Hidden in the heart of St. Albert's old downtown and around the corner from a more traveled road. A true gem that's worth going back again over and over, and hardly wanting to get the same thing twice! So much goodness to choose from! I'm already hungry for the next visit! 😋

The Cajun House in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada offers traditional Southern cuisine in a charming dining room adorned with artwork and high ceilings. This restaurant is perfect for those who love to explore new tastes and experiences. Whether you're looking for a quick bite before hitting the road or a relaxed setting to unwind, The Cajun House has got you covered. The atmosphere is cozy and family-friendly with both indoor seating and outdoor patio options.
I found this place by searching “Restaurants in st.albert” the Cajun House showed up in Trip advisor's 10 Ten Places.. so looking at the menu and the images on their Facebook we decided to try it out! We came from an hour away (Pigeon Lake) and boy this place did not disappoint! When you walk in they have awards hanging by the Reception area, the dining area has large windows and is very clean! The waitress never let our drinks get to the bottom and constantly topping up. She was knowledgeable in her recommendations. My husband had the jambalaya and I had a season special which was the maple pork tenderloin, we shared the Alligator Sausage and the pumpkin cheesecake! All I can say is this place is amazing!!!! And overall exceeded every expectation!

When you want authentic Louisiana style food.. this is the place to go. The chef trained in Louisiana and brought with him some of the best dishes to St Albert. It's not like going to Taco Bell and thinking that's Mexican food!!! This is as real as it gets . And you can't beat it . We started with some crab cakes .. damn they're delicious. I had the combo of jambalaya, shrimp Creole , red beans and sausage... If you can't decide what to get.. try this .a little taste of everything. My friends had the pecan crusted chicken and it looked amazing.. We actually haven't been here in awhile and the food was always on point just like this time . The place really hasn't changed at all . . Why mess with a good thing . For me . A true test of cleanliness is the bathroom .. and it was spotless . Service was great and attentive. We didn't feel rushed or were an inconvenience. If you want to experience true Louisiana cooking.. go here .

I had an amazing dinner at The Cajun House in St. Albert! The vibe was warm and cozy—perfect for a relaxed night out. I ordered the Shrimp Creole, and it was packed with flavor and just the right amount of spice. You can really tell the food is made with care, and everything tasted super fresh. My husband ordered the Chicken Po’ Boy, which is his favorite dish at his favorite place to eat! He loved it—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The service was excellent—friendly and attentive without being overbearing. They made sure we had everything we needed and genuinely cared about our experience. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to find such authentic Southern flavors in St. Albert, but The Cajun House completely delivered. We’ll definitely be back to try more dishes! Highly recommend this place if you’re craving something bold and delicious.

We have been enjoying the award-winning Cajun experience for over 30 years! If you're on the hunt for a delightful breakfast or lunch experience, look no further than the Turkish Coffee House! This charming spot, run by the talented Esra, serves up an array of mouthwatering dishes made from scratch. Indulge in traditional favorites like Egg & Sujuk (Turkish sausage), Lahmacun (a flavorful flatbread topped with fresh ingredients), and Menemen (a delicious Turkish omelette).
I asked a friend for a hidden gem to take my daughter for her birthday lunch in St. Albert and without hesitation she mentioned this place. This was our first time having Turkish food so our friend insisted we try the Lahmacun. We had that along with a fresh veggie press, iced coffee and chai latte. All items we perfection. Service was great, food was exceptional and prices were reasonable. We highly recommend. Nice to have the option for outdoor seating too.

Best coffee. I tried pistachio in mine and it was surprisingly amazing. I guess that's the premise behind hazelnut coffee blends...it sweetens the taste somehow. The food was ok but I might have been better off trying Turkish delight Tiramisu Or other desserts. Great atmosphere. Reading a book about Italy in a Turkish cafe

Good coffee, the pistachio latte has real pistachios in it, but the baklava is incredible. Had to go back again because I was craving it! A bit on the pricier side for a coffee and a pastry, but the baklava is worth it!!

😁 Amazingly good coffee, tea, and food here! The best, most authentic Turkish coffee I've had in years was from here. The coffee even came on a nice wooden board accompanied by a fancy little glass of water! 😊 The food my friend and I ordered was delicious. There's more things on the menu I want to try, so I'll be back again! 😋 They do serve family sized meals there as well. Very nice spread of wonderful tastes! 😅 And if you're there when they're busy... Relax. Enjoy the coffee. Their kitchen is only so big and the tasty food is coming. It's worth the wait!

This place is so cute! The baklava is insanely tasty and juicy, so many different options for lattes and drinks and the space is modern and clean with an inside and outside area. It gives me nostalgia for visiting Turkey and we only got coffee and dessert but we WILL be back! they have non dairy milk as well.

If you're on the hunt for an unforgettable pizza experience in St. Albert, look no further than Pizza Garage! This gem offers a delightful array of styles, including Detroit Style, Chicago Bar Pie Style, and New York Style pizzas that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. Many visitors rave about their signature creations like Porkys Revenge and Nice 2 Meat You, which showcase the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and innovative flavors.
I've been looking for a decent NY style pizza for a while and I've finally found one that ranks as a really good choice. The toppings and cheese are bang on and the tomato sauce is fantastic. The sauce has a old world Italy taste of fresh tomatoes and a light amount of seasoning. Well done. I had my first Bar Pie last night and it was seriously better than the NY Style. The crust was crispy and slightly chewy all at the same time, the toppings stayed put which I love. The flavours were all there and it was ready in 15 minutes. After two visits I would have to say this is the best pizza in St Albert if not the entire Edmonton Area.
Adam S — Google review
The sauce was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of tanginess, and the cheese was melted to perfection. The toppings were fresh, generous, and well-balanced, making every bite a delight. I highly recommend it to buy your pizza 🍕 here. 🍕

My fiance found this place on Google and we decided to give it a try. We are still fairly new to St. Albert and I am actually rather sad we didn't find out about this place sooner! The food was absolutely incredible. He went in to order and said the place was wonderful and the service was great! I'm not sure which pizza we got, he can't remember the name of it but hands down it was one the best pizzas I have ever had. The ingredients were fresh and REAL. It had the perfect amount of sauce. Everything tasted soo good and every bite was delicious. I think we just found our new pizza place. If you're reading my review and thinking about trying this place, please do. You will not be disappointed. We will 1000% order again. Sorry about the half eaten pizza in the photo but I had to try it first before taking a photo. Incredible.

First time ordering from Pizza Garage , it was amazing and we will ONLY order from here now!!! We moved from Windsor to Edmonton a year and a half ago and have struggled finding our pizza fix, nothing has compared to back home. We ordered the NY VIA 313 because of the shredded pepperoni and it tastes exactly like home. Afterwards I noticed they actually have a Windsor pizza which we will be ordering next!!
Carol D — Google review
We learned of Pizza Garage about a year ago. It is our go to pizza place. We probably order once every six weeks. The NY Chevrolet is what we like, today we got two of them - one with extra sauce. Best part is the use of real ingredients so the taste is incredible.
Miss S — Google review
First time having pizza from Pizza Garage Very friendly guy in the front and a ton of drinks to choose from . Not just your basic pop and juice. We got Le Ferrari, meat mountain and Hawaiian with extra pineapple. This place only has medium or large pizzas. And for 3 pizzas it was quite expensive. My husband and son loved their pizzas, but mine was like every other Hawaiian pizza, just with extra pineapple, which they didn’t skimp on.
Cindy — Google review
I ordered the Detroit Style Pizza Fury BBQ Chicken. Apparently, it's the best seller, so I had to try. It was good to try but not good enough to order again. It came in a smaller box and the pizza did weigh slightly lighter than the NY style pizza. I also ordered the NY Style Pizza Nice 2 Meat U, also a best seller. Now that pizza was good. It had a good combination of flavors. Reminded of a hot honey pizza I had in NY. I'll be back to try another flavor. Came back again: the Lamborghini is another good choice!
Kev P — Google review
Year later : STILL top notch , actually went in for once and great customer service. Officially tried New York pizzas while travelling and Pizza Garage nails it. As Authentic as it gets! Do not sleep on the New York style pizzas they are by far the best I’ve had in Edmonton. Great signature pizzas but have a few where they got creative and absolutely crushed it. The hot honey is a perfect touch! if you like Detroit style they do it justice too. Exotic drinks & snacks to complete the meal 👌

While the trails vary in maintenance, they offer an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of local flora and fauna, with informative boards scattered along the paths.
Excellent natural area with walking trails throughout. The trails are in various states of care so make sure you have good footwear. There is no washroom facilities. You can enter the area by foot at the south end and at the north end there is a parking lot where the main entrance is to the trails. Spread throughout the trails are lots of information boards about the flora and fauna. A great place to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stroll through nature. Lots of mosquitoes, just warning you. So use mosquito repellent if you can.

it took 20 minutes for my very small order to be completed with no sense of urgency, even though I had to get on the bus. All I ordered was an iced coffee, a wrap and a hot chocolate and it took 20 minutes for them to finish. The hot chocolate ended up being just steamed milk with no flavour and no quality. The iced coffee is not to standard and I’m very disappointed with the service. they are not organized and they’re not taking into account that people have places to be and the order can’t take 20 minutes, I had to catch the bus and I had to run before I missed it. The wait time compared to the quality the food is not standard, I don’t mind waiting if the food is good, but the quality was just terrible. I would not recommend going to this place. I would suggest you go to the McDonald’s by the Walmart or by superstore, don’t waste your time here.

Perfect place to take kids to do something early morning while you drink coffee! As long as they’re over 2 they will have no issue climbing up without help. There’s no scary drops for kids that you have to worry about it’s all very fun and if you are there before 9am there is literally no one so siblings can play together. This location was wonderful and accommodating. I had an 80 yr old with a walker and a 2 yr old with a stroller, and I was able to bring both in and put off to the side. We were given a table in the back, which was appreciated as the toddler was being fussy. But he sure loved everything, lol! Thank you to all the staff for your kindness and patience. I've been attending Cora's for over 15 years and the food has always been consistent and decent. My good friend's sibling owned and operated a Cora's so we got to try most of the menu items. My rating reflects my overall interest in Cora's menu over the years. I feel that they have not really innovated with breakfast trends. That being said, you will always get a solid meal and it's a great place to take the family.

Still one of the best sit down restaurants in St. Albert. I absolutely love their Neapolitan style pizza with its chewy crust and flavourful toppings/sauce. A surprise star for me was their chilli oil, not overly spicy and just the right amount of kick. Thier other dishes like pasta and hot entrees are quite tasty as well, having had the rigatoni and beef ribs myself on other occasions.

A beautifully designed space with a warm atmosphere and seriously good food. Bucco Pizzeria & Vino in St. Albert delivers on many levels, from ambiance to ingredients to service. The restaurant is well built and stylishly located, giving it a vibrant, modern vibe that instantly sets the tone for a good evening out. We didn’t have a reservation, but the team kindly accommodated us without hesitation, something we really appreciated. Service throughout was friendly and attentive. The pizza? Delicious. The dough was fresh and well made, and the ingredients were clearly of high quality. The sauce was also a highlight, bright, rich, and full of flavor. I should also mention the tomato soup: quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. Deeply comforting and layered in taste. The pizza’s undercarriage leans toward the thinner, softer side, so not every slice holds up well by hand, but it’s all part of the experience, and the flavor more than makes up for it. Lots of seating options, including a lovely outdoor patio. Parking was manageable, and the overall experience felt well-balanced and enjoyable. Wishing the Bucco team continued success. May this space always be filled with good food, laughter, and moments that bring people together.

Buco absolutely deserves 5 stars! The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Every bite was delicious! Twice in a row I was lucky enough to have Rose as my server. I cannot praise her enough! She was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout the meal. Service was fast, and she made sure everything was perfect. The ambiance was clean and comfortable making it a great spot for both quick bites and relaxed meals. Prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food and experience. I appreciate that they have gluten & dairy free options for appetizers, main courses and desserts. I hope they start offering vegan cheeses for their pizzas (and bring back their smoked salmon pizza that was to die for) I'll definitely be coming back and recommending it to others.

Overall really good and would go back. We had the fried egg sandwich and the Margherita pizza. The sandwich was pretty good and a good size. Comes with a side of fruit as well but definitely on the lighter side. The pizza was quite good, we especially liked the sauce and the crust. The chili oil provided however was disappointingly not spicy. Ended up using chili flakes but definitely not as good as having an actual spicy oil.

We came here for my birthday dinner after being treated poorly and leaving Riverbank Bistro. It was quite busy for a Tuesday. It has been our experience that the quality of food and service is consistently excellent. This visit was no exception! Our server was efficient, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. My only complaint here is the noise level. It has always been quite loud. I think the ceiling could use some baffles, and I would definitely dine here more often if it were a little more comfortable on the ears.
