Park
Point Pelee National Park, located in Leamington, is a compact yet diverse park offering bird and butterfly watching opportunities along with sandy beaches. Situated on the 42nd parallel, it provides a habitat for migratory birds and various wildlife. The park features freshwater marshes, woodland areas, lookout tower, and boardwalk over the marsh. It's an ideal destination for nature lovers seeking to explore the southernmost part of mainland Canada.
This park has something in every season and weather. The tip looks different every time we visit so it gives a new experience each time. We came when it was minus 20, incredibly windy at the tip but forest hike was fine. They were offering hot chocolate at visitor centre. Outside the centre, the fire pit was going with an option to roast marshmallows. Very thoughtful. We saw a bald eagle. The park looked like a winter wonderland.

Point Pelee National Park is a beautiful gem! The park offers stunning landscapes, from the wetlands to the forest trails, and the views at the point are incredible. I especially loved the birdwatching opportunities, as the park is a prime spot for migratory birds. The trails are well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and informative. The visitor center is a nice touch, with helpful exhibits and a small gift shop. Overall, it’s a peaceful and scenic park that’s definitely worth a visit, especially if you love nature and wildlife. Would highly recommend!

As the southernmost point of land in Canada and the country’s smallest national park, this place offers truly unique scenery. You can enjoy the views by hiking or cycling. There’s a free shuttle to the southernmost point, but you can also choose to walk there. If you visit during cooler weather, make sure to dress warmly as the winds can be strong. In the summer, you can fully enjoy the sunshine。
Christopher D — Google review
Beautiful, easily accessible national park which should not be missed if you are in southern Ontario. We were there in early October 2024, and there were little to no crowds. There is a free shuttle from the visitor center to the point trailhead, and the hike to the point is very manageable, even for someone like me who walks with a cane. The scenery is quite stunning. Overall, a wonderful experience and one of the highlights of our fall break.
Roger J — Google review
What a beautiful park. It is well maintained and all staff were very friendly. The boardwalk was a gorgeous walk and if you come early, you can enjoy it for yourselves. The beach was peaceful and not crowded. Wish the washrooms were cleaner. Worth the 6hr drive back and forth. Highly recommend to visit this place. The tip was breathtaking.
Gee I — Google review
The park has lots of things to do, bike, hike, kayak, swim, camp, or just enjoy the beautiful vistas. It is not super large so we were able to do a lot in just one day, the northwest beach was great for relaxing, sandy, no waves and modest incline so it was perfect for throwing a frisbee and a good long swim. Parking, picnic tables and washrooms were all nearby and clean. No reservation is needed for day use, just pay the parking fee (17.50 cad per car) we visited on a Sunday and it was not crowded at all, the only crowded part was the tip, the line for the shuttle that takes you there may get long but it runs every 15-20 minutes so you may wait have to wait on line depending on the time of day or you could spend that time walking there instead.
Lety S — Google review
I love this place❤️❤️. It was amazing to walk on the shore and explore the trails. The parking lot closes to the tip will only operate in off season. So during the summer it’s 30mins walk one way from the parking lot next to visiting centres. It’s really calm and sereine place. As usual spotted some poisonous ivy as well during the walk. The lookout is currently under construction. The one side of the shore is calm and the other side is with huge waves literally feel like an ocean. Must visit. Restroom available at visitor centre.

Amazing experience! We went to the national park on a cold February weekend, and the whole park was like a big ice rink! Despite falling multiple times and having bruises all over our bodies, the experience was so unique! The weather was cold, especially when walking on the tip. The trail was a big piece of ice, and the water was completely frozen. The campsite office staff were super helpful and so nice! How they provided all the information and were so kind in such weather was actually heartwarming! The toilets were spotless despite the mud and snow outside. The oTentiks were super clean as well. We stayed at oTentik number 9, which had a gas-operated heater (God bless the National Park!) and a very good grill. It also had plugs and electricity, which was different from the rest of the oTentiks we stayed in. Overall, such a beautiful experience and stay!

Restaurant
Nestled just a stone's throw away from the shimmering waters of Lake Erie, Freddy's Restaurant offers a vibrant and relaxed dining experience. With its sunny patio, guests can savor local perch prepared in three delightful styles: broiled, blackened, or coconut-coated. The menu also features Middle Eastern influences thanks to owner Makhlouf’s Lebanese heritage, including the delectable Toum Dip served with pita and olives. If you're not in the mood for fish, fear not!
The food is delicious here! We ordered the scallops, perch on a bun, perch tacos and sweet potato fries. They also brew their own beer which is also very good. We were seated promptly and the service was great! There's an ice cream shop next door for dessert.
Rod C — Google review
I want to start with the positivites. Great service, nice atmosphere, and the accommodated a slight alteration to my meal (I asked for pita instead of a flour tortilla, as I don't feel well sometimes after having a tortilla). My meal was fantastic, but my partner said that the steak on his sandwich was too tough to eat regularly and he needed to eat it with a knife and fork. The reason why I only gave 3 stars overall though, was the price. We saw a picture of the menu online that had to be quite outdated. Fountain pop was $4.90 each and our meals were quite higher priced than we had anticipated and budgeted for. I understand that is in an area with many tourists, however, due to the price, I don't think we will return. If others don't mind a higher price, it's worth checking out.
Tiffany T — Google review
Stopped in for some frozen yogurt Was taking my time reading the menu and felt rushed. There were only a few flavours, with the total coming to $10 for ONE - SMALL- frozen yogurt. Not to mention it tasted like vanilla icecream with a hint of raspberry. Obviously skimping on that part to save money? Was honestly really disappointing. I expected for $10 it would be GOOD. My friend and I agreed we’d rather spend $10 on a blizzard from Dairy Queen that actually tastes good!
Sydney H — Google review
Service was excellent — but unfortunately, the food was awful. The chicken wings were a major letdown: bland, crispy on the outside but rubbery on the inside, like something pulled straight from a frozen bag. To make it worse, the sauce was served on the side, doing nothing to help the completely tasteless wings. The french fries were no better — bland, some undercooked, some overcooked, not fresh-cut. For the prices they charge, I expected something made in-house; or at least salted. The poutine was just as disappointing: watery, flavorless, and topped with what tasted like basic cheddar instead of proper cheese curds. The fattoush salad was equally uninspired. I was hoping for bold, aromatic Mediterranean flavors, but it was bland and forgettable. Then came the ribeye — and it might be the worst part of the meal. Cold, tough, gristly, poorly trimmed, and somehow over seasoned, with fat that wasn’t rendered properly. The side of “grilled” vegetables included carrots that were raw — perfect for Bugs Bunny, not a dinner plate. $49 for that ? Give me a break. Even the in-house beer missed the mark. Just serve major brand canned or draft like a normal place. It was too hoppy and not refreshing. Honestly, for what they’re charging, they should be embarrassed to serve food of this quality. Between the terrible food, the weird muzak they had on repeat for background noise and the astounding pricing - I won’t be back.

We visit Freddy’s once a year when we camp at Wheatley Provincial Park. Freddy’s is a must stop restaurant with great service, and fresh delicious food. The hummus appetizer and the grape leaves appetizer are very flavourful. We have the falafel wrap with fries and the falafel is the best we have had. Delicious and not a bad view from the patio.

Fantastic food and truly outstanding service! Loved the friendly staff. The fattoush salad, burgers, perch tacos and scallops were excellent! The ice cream and frozen yogurt selections were also fantastic. Wonderful restaurant and we strongly recommend it!

I'm 80 y old, and in that long life I've never had a worse restaurant experience than today on 1 October 2025. The food was a horror, prices beyond imagination, and ambiance sad. I will never return. Freddy's gives Leamington a bad name. Do yourself a favour and drive by and dine elsewhere. Freddy's deserves to be out of business and closed very soon.

I've been to Seacliff many times. I first went as a small child. This place has become an amazing community over the years. A park and beautiful splash pad for the kids. A new great outdoor theater all located next to a great beach. Perfect for everyone..

One of the best beaches in Windsor-essex. No matter what the season is, we've always enjoyed to come to this beach and spend relaxing time together. There're plenty of benches as well so a few times we've had snacks or small meals, while sitting on bench facing the sea. Crowded during summer times but you won't be disappointed, you'll find yourself a nice place for sure. Also, there's a stage as well so I assume there must be concerts or certain events happening sometime.

Great place to take the family. The Beach is really nice, pretty big, loss of space (especially in this pandemic world). Really nice park nearby within walking distance. The whole area is just really nice. Family had a great time today, especially the kids. Highly recommend this place for multiple reasons. Will be back again!

Wow. Retired last year to Blenheim however if I had seen this unspoiled, uncrowded gem of an area in Leamington I may well have been.living there instead. Simply put. A1 beach, park and Marina area to relax, walk or take in a beatiful spring day like us. Hats of to the County for a great design and allocation of dollars to the waterfront for the enjoyment of everyone. Hi to the random super nice couple Giselle and Doug who walked us out to see the pier and my future fishing spot.

Crave Family Grill & Pub has recently expanded its patio to a large adjacent park, creating a beautiful shaded area for diners. The menu offers delicious pub fare and unique burgers with decadent toppings. Visitors praise the laidback vibe and well-decorated interior. The Chicken and Waffles dish is particularly recommended for its flavorful brie and apple slivers.
My wife and I came to CRAVE. We had never been there before. We were so impressed!! The spinach dip was the absolute best we've ever had. Service was amazing, the waitress even took a picture of us, and offered us a dessert since we were celebrating 21 years together!! We highly recommend CRAVE! (Tequila lime sauce on wings is amazing)

We stopped in here after visiting point pelee, so glad we did. This place was amazing!!! It had a fantastic vibe, our waitress was so friendly and attentive. The menu was a great size and they had a decent selection of beers on tap. The food we ordered came out quickly and was extremely delicious. We enjoyed every second of our time there. Well worth checking out if you are in the area.

Everything about this place was just perfect. The spinach dip was piping hot in its own cast skillet, delish with pitas. Sandwiches and salad were amazing served with beer from our favorite brewery in this area. The atmosphere was right up our alley including the moose on the wall, choice of house music and really cool upper level. Our service was right on point, never waited for anything and never felt rushed. We were passing through and will be sure to come back our next time in town.

Grabbed a burger. It was a typical type of burger taste but very well executed and served; balanced well for all of meat/veggie/bread/sauce and none of it was going out of its way. Got a good impression overall so def willing to revisit if next chance.

Nice Place. Nice Food. Nice People. I don't go out much, so I don't come here often, but the times I did have been very nice. I recently came here with some relatives after celebrating a birthday. We really enjoyed ourselves here. I tried the "Bigger in Texas" Burger with fries. We also had some "perogy waffle fries" The waffle fries were fantastic. there were bits of bacon in the bowl and every bite was just as delicious as the last. Even when there were just crumbs left. The burger was great. It was grilled, which is something I can't do at my apartment anymore, so it was nice to have that again. The fries were deep fried too. The food felt professionally made, but also felt home made, as if you were at a family get together. It was nice. If I had to give complaints, I found the restaurant to be too noisy. The room is thin, like a hallway, so there are echos whenever anyone talks. It made it hard for me to hear the person I was talking to, even when they were right in my face. Near the end of our time there, a group of very noisy people entered. One woman would not stop laughing, and it drilled into my skull as it reverberated throughout the room. A nice time was had, but I was also happy to leave. My only other complaint is how expensive the food is. $20 for a burger, and $16 for perogy waffle fries? It was delicious, so I feel it was worth the money, but needless to say, we split those waffle fries amongst the three of us. I can't come back any time soon until I've saved up for it. So if you've got the money, and don't mind the noise, you're going to have a great time here.

Such a lovely experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was bright, cozy and welcoming. It’s the kind of place that feels comfortable whether you’re starting your day solo or meeting up with a friend. The decor is thoughtful and adds to the relaxed vibe. The food was fresh, flavorful and arrived quickly. Everything was well presented and clearly made with care. Coffee was great and helped set the tone for a good morning. Service was friendly, attentive and genuine. You can tell the staff take pride in what they do and it shows. If you’re looking for a breakfast spot that gets everything right, this one should be on your list.

My girlfriend and I decided to pop in here for breakfast on a recent motorcycle trip we were on in the area. This place was open earlier than most others, the service was quick and friendly. Convenient location right downtown. I had the Eggs Benedict with peameal bacon, and my girlfriend had the Grand slam (I believe it was called). Everything was cooked perfectly, hollandaise sauce was good, and the home fried potatoes were on point. Decent value for the buck, nothing fancy, but a good old school breakfast joint vibe.

If you're on the hunt for a delicious meal, look no further than Shawarma Corner! This bustling eatery is known for its mouthwatering shawarma specials, particularly their $6 deals on Sundays and Thursdays. The staff here are not only friendly but also efficient, quickly addressing any minor mix-ups with your order—an aspect of customer service that truly stands out.
A Shawarma Experience Worth Every Bite! I recently tried the beef, chicken, and mix wraps at this shawarma place, and all I can say is, “Oh my God, it’s excellent!” The flavors were spot-on, and each wrap was made to perfection. The meat was properly portioned, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to tender, juicy perfection. Combined with fresh toppings and a balance of sauces, it felt like a proper, well-crafted wrap that hit all the right notes. Coming from Toronto, a city renowned for its food scene, I have high expectations, and this spot absolutely delivered. The quality and taste of the shawarma here genuinely surprised me—in the best way possible! Another standout aspect is their customisation. Whether you prefer a little more spice, extra sauce, or specific toppings, they cater to your preferences effortlessly, making every wrap feel personalized and exactly to your liking. If you’re in the area, this is a must-try for shawarma lovers. It’s not just a quick meal—it’s a flavorful experience that rivals some of the best I’ve had in Toronto. Highly recommended!

Had a very good and filling meal at Shawarma Corner. The staff is very pleasant and it looked like they were very busy filling orders (we were there on a Sunday and they have $6 Shawarma special on Sundays and Thursdays). A small mistake with my plate was quickly corrected without any argument (a fact that I greatly appreciate in customer service). The food itself was very good: their mix of rice and lentils was a great addition to the generous portion of beef. This seasoning recipe had a bit more warm brown spice to it than some others I've enjoyed in the past. With 2 pitas, and a generous portion of garlic mayo, hummus, pickles and salad, I knew I wasn't going to be able to finish it! Leftovers for the win. :) Definitely worth a visit if you're on your way to the ferry or Seacliff Park.

Absolutely amazing authentic food here at Shawarma corner. Nice fresh local ingredients this place never disappoints. Located in leamington next time you’re in town you must stop here.

I expected better from this place. The rice is heated in the microwave. The meat is dry. If you fry it a little after cutting, the chicken will taste much richer and juicier. They didn't ask me what I wanted and didn't want to add to the salad.

We visit this Shawarma Corner every time we're in Leamington and have always enjoyed the food. However, our most recent visit on June 10th, 2025, around 6 PM, was very disappointing and left us with a bad impression of the place. I ordered a mixed shawarma wrap, but the meat was so dry that I could only take two bites. Thankfully, the customer service was excellent as always—the employee quickly replaced the sandwich with a different item from the menu. Secondly, the price of the shawarma sandwich is posted as $6.99, but I was charged $7.25 + tax at the register. While it's only a $0.26 difference, it’s the principle that matters. When I asked about it, the staff member insisted the price was $7.25, even though the sign clearly showed $6.99.

This review is specifically for the Signature Chicken. It took me like 3 orders to figure out why some bites were so much more delicious than others. MIX the garlic sauce with the special sauce! I mean just mix it all together and let your tongue be punched with flavor!

If you're a fan of perch, Birdie's Perch is an absolute gem you can't afford to miss! This unique eatery features a charming red double-decker bus transformed into a food truck, serving up the freshest Lake Erie yellow perch. With its spacious patio offering plenty of shade and just a short walk from stunning waterfront views, it's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy your meal.
My first time here and the minute I saw the red bus, I could not keep my eyes off it. Very unique and you can't miss this place whenever you are visiting in Leamington. Can't go wrong with Fish Tacos. The small fries has a very huge serving so my partner and I had it for share.

Been going to Birdie's Perch for a while! One of our regular places to go! We've tried the Perch tacos and fries but I'm sure all other menu items are as good as they sounds! Very nice atmosphere and settings! It's always packed bcuz the food is so so soooo amazing and fresh! Staff are friendly and making sure you have a great experience! Highly recommend this place!

This was refreshing stop to a little day trip. The perch was pretty awesome and very fresh! Love birdie sauce! If I brought the family up here I would most certainly stop and try the Reuben hotdog!

A must stop if you in the area. We were visiting Point pelee national park and i had read reviews about this place and wanted to try it. Fantastic Perch and service. Price is decent. Definitely worth it. Good ice cream too.

The classic double decker bus makes you wanna stop by and see what's the hype is all about! Lots of tables and lots of parking and it always seems to be busy. Even tho its busy there will be a spot for you. The food is amazing! Staff very nice! Covid19 safe!

Fish tacos to die for. Retro style food truck in an old double decker bus. Takes about ten minutes to get your food. We went in the rain so options were limited for staying dry, but overall we were thrilled with the quality of this gem.

A great local establishment for a limited but very well done menu including poutine, various perch options, some delicious veggie options etc. Check out the Trading Post next door for a different menu. The stew and cheese cake I had were second to none! Also a nice little gift shop upstairs.

Ray's Ribhouse is a popular spot in Leamington known for its exceptional barbecue, particularly their delicious ribs. Visitors rave about the satisfying and flavorful rib dinners, which come with a choice of sauce, a side, coleslaw, beans, and a bun. The restaurant's cozy decor adds to the overall dining experience. Customers also praise other menu items such as perch, mixed fish, and steak sandwich.
Love Rays. Ribs, ribs, ribs. Yes they have other good food but I love the ribs! One tiny suggestion. More beans,no reason to skimp on them. Regular crowd and I can see why.Recommended!

Me and my wife have been out to eat at very many restaurants all over the place. And this by far is absolutely one of the best restaurants we have both got the opportunity to eat at. The food is absolutely phenomenal and I don't say that very often. The servers are extremely polite and professional and always checking up. The portions are definitely quite fair along with the pricing. Absolutely will recommend this restaurant and will definitely be coming back myself.

We had been recommended to go here by a good Friend Ken C. , He is a regular customer at Rays and I have to admit I was not disappointed at all. I went with the full rack of ribs and they were absolutely delicious. Huge shout out to Ray and his staff for doing a wonderful job. The menu had a huge selection many options to choose from. However, ribs were the only thing on my radar last night.

We were intown for a hockey tournament and did our research ahead of time to find a great restaurant and Ray's was it! Amazing ribs, tender, fall off the bone style, great sauce, fresh cut fries, fantastic cheese cake. I'm sad I live 265km away but its worth the drive!

Capogna Flowers is a delightful local garden center that invites both plant enthusiasts and their furry friends to explore its vibrant aisles filled with an impressive array of flowers, plants, and vegetables. The welcoming staff are not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable, ready to assist you in bringing your floral visions to life. With a vast selection of colors, sizes, and varieties available at reasonable prices, it's no wonder visitors make the journey from Windsor to Ruthven.
Honestly the staff is so knowledgeable.. they were able to help me with all my requests - they even directed me to a "competitions" nursery to find a particular bush I was looking for. It was a very fast check out process and they even have a closer area to load your plants to your car. Their selection is huge and we were there the day after a holiday!

So impressed with Capogna Flowers!! A huge selection of indoor and outdoor plants, and beautifully designed urns for excellent prices! Went on Mother’s Day weekend and it was incredibly busy but they have large aisles and even though the line up was long to cash out the wait wasn’t too bad, because they have staff “sorting” your cart to making cashing out easier. Urns pictured are still going strong a month later and were $45, hanging basket was $30 and is also still in bloom!

Just wow! This greenhouse is really quite fantastic. So many choices. Colours, varieties, sizes, they have it all. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The prices are not outrageous, I found them to be very reasonable. Well worth the drive from Windsor to Ruthven. The Arts Centre is right next to the giant tomato Welcome Center in the heart of downtown Leamington. Admission cost is minimal. Upstairs is a collection of paintings from one local artist. The Bank Theatre, located in downtown Leamington, is a vibrant hub for the performing arts community of South Western Ontario. It has undergone significant transformations over the past decade and now offers a beautiful venue with special lighting, confectionery, and tiered seating. The theatre hosts a variety of events including acting workshops, stage plays, improv comedy nights, live music performances from both local talents and outside groups.
It’s a great spot for concerts and theater! You can snag a souvenir at the gift shop too. The best part? They’ve got popcorn and beer!

This is an awesome theatre in a great community. The people that are involved do an amazing job! We watched this evolve from the old bank with the safe inside to this first class venue!

This is a fairly young Theater as per I have witnessed the changes in the past say 8 to 10 years, from a cement floor with folding chairs to becoming a beautiful venue with special lighting, confectionery and tiered seating, they support locals talents and are community minded, they may not have major production of plays, they do have some great ones, I can see a bigger and better acts and shows coming here. The shows I have attended have left me feeling that I got more value than the ticket price, they are very good hosts and a place I like to visit on occasion because it is about 45 minutes from my home. This is a great way to have date night.

This is a great venue. I've been to two community theatre productions. Most recently, I saw I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change.....it was EXCELLENT. The sub was SO mid, the bread was stale, the meats were tasteless and thin, and the cheese was so bad. There was more lettuce and bread than the meat slices. The sandwich really dry and someone sopping wet with watery oil; I’m not sure how they made that even possible. Now I feel sick and I never want to visit leamington again.

2 gyro pita, poutine, souvlaki pita and a lg Greek salad $60.. Fry's tasted like they were sitting in a garbage pail for 2 days. Gravy was cold and they use processed cheese on a poutine in Canada.. I'm pretty sure you can go to jail for that. Gyro pita was inedible The gyro meat tasted like what dog food smells like...the salad was barely edible with about a tablespoon of feta on the entire lg Greek salad.. pathetic, shameful and disgusting. Pizza restaurant
Armando's Pizza - Leamington is a spacious eatery with ample seating and adherence to social distancing protocols. They prioritize guest safety by screening at the entrance and utilizing disposable menus. The restaurant offers a diverse selection of authentic Italian dishes, such as arancini and chicken Parmesan. The server efficiently took beverage orders upon seating, allowing patrons time to settle before taking their food requests to the kitchen. The meals were served steaming hot and generously portioned, ensuring diners' satisfaction.
Tried Professor Zaaa’s new pizza offerings at Armando’s and wasn’t disappointed. Well executed pizzas with great toppings and flavours. Some unique offerings and pickles on a pizza were surprisingly tasty. Overall everything was good and would recommend. I would order it well done next time as I like a little extra crunch Pic order: Pepperoni Paradise, Pesto Perfection, Truffle Shuffle, Mill St. Smokehouse, Windsor Classic Sorry about the missing pieces, we were hungry
Brian D — Google review
If i could give this place a 4.5/5 i would. First time at Armando's in Leamington and was generally impressed with the quality of the veal parm i ordered. It was cooked well and the breading had excellent flavour. It was comparable to much of the Veal Parms i've had in Woodbridge, Vaughan. The sauce on the parm tasted good but just a bit too watery for my liking and the penne with meat sauce was excellent. I also thoroughly enjoyed the house salad with the slightly sweet balsamic vinegarette dressing..
Sunny B — Google review
Truffle shuffle was amazing. Never had pizza without tomato sauce. This was great!!

First time trying Armando’s pizza Leamington since Professor Zaaa took over and it did NOT disappoint. Went with an old favourite, the new pepperoni paradise and a panzerotti! No skimping on toppings AT ALL, cooked just the way we like and absolutely delicious. So glad he opened back up and hands down, makes the best pizza around. Added bonus is how literally simple it is to order on line and just pick up! There are so many options to add or change but it is so simple to maneuver on line! Thx for great tasting pizza that is so worth every penny you pay! (And it isn’t a lot!). Delish

Food is delicious but Chris was insanely rude when I was picking up an order. Lied said he was the manager when I called back was put on hold for ten minutes before I recalled for manager details. He told me he was the manager, he’s not the manager Lisa is. I went to go pick up an online order , they looked busy making food so I waited by cash, he comes up all annoyed. I said I placed an online order, he shrugs and throws his left hand up saying with attitude like a teenager saying “name? number?” I replied my name and said rough night guy? He brings my $70 order. I told him he should really talk to paying customers better. I love this place but I’m never ordering if Chris is working.

We were pleasantly surprised by the super thoughtful vegan menu! The vegan garlic knots, and the classic vegan and bbq tofu pizzas were absolutely delicious, wish we could have tried all of them! Amazing service too, highly recommend.

Food was good but service was slow. Server seemed more occupied with personal business than looking after the few customers that were seated. EDIT: second visit was more impressive. Faster service, better food. Californian flatbread from their lunch menu was tasty.

Ate inside. Tables were spaced out but set up a little weird. There was little space between my chair and the person behind me. Food was AWESOME! I ordered the Detroit deep dish and was the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Well done! Service was really good!

Joey’s Seafood Restaurant in Leamington is a charming spot that seafood lovers will adore. Known for its extensive menu featuring everything from crispy fish and chips to hearty seafood platters, each dish is prepared with the freshest ingredients. The restaurant boasts a warm and welcoming ambiance, making it an ideal choice for family dinners, friendly meet-ups, or romantic evenings out.
Too bad this restaurant is closing permanently in August. Stopped here while traveling for work. The server was very friendly with a great smile and attitude. I had the legendary fish sandwich with fries. What a tasty treat! I'm not a fan of tomatoes on a sandwich, but it made all the difference in this one! Three pieces of fish stacked in to of each other with spring lettuce, tomato, and tartar sauce on a brioche bun. The only thing keeping this thing standing was the knife through the center! Mwah! Fries were a great compliment. Highly recommend!

First time in Leamington and we had dinner here. We came on a Monday and there wasn’t many people for dinner. Parking is available, but confusing as it’s next to the Tim Hortons. Waitress was really nice and pleasant to chat with and she also helped us find places in the area to visit. A lot of seafood options and we chose different items from the menu. Fish and chips were nice as there wasn’t too much batter. Fish tacos were also good with lots of toppings. The pan seared fish however had too much oil and tasted ok. Overall we rested the place 3.5 as we felt the food didn’t taste as good as it looked. The popcorn shrimps were overly crispy and lost all shrimps flavour and texture.

Just came in the other day. The portions were huge. The waitress was very nice and efficient considering there were filling up quickly. I'll definitely be back again
Barbara G — Google review
Regular fare fish and chips spot. We tried the Joey special (Pollock, popcorn shrimp and fries), and the recommended chicken burger. The burger is absolutely huge, with two chicken thigh pieces! Tasted alright, but I've had better. Same with the fish and chips. Nothing to write home about unfortunately. Service was great and the food came out quickly.

I had high hopes for this place based on all the glowing reviews and beautiful photos posted online… but wow, were we disappointed. The exterior of the restaurant is very nice and modern, but unfortunately, that’s where the appeal ends. The inside feels old and dingy, with sticky tables and downright gross washrooms — also sticky, which is just unacceptable. Still, I decided to give it a shot, thinking maybe the food would make up for it — a hidden dive gem, perhaps? Nope. We started with the calamari, which came in a tiny portion and was incredibly rubbery — definitely straight from the freezer. Next, we ordered the halibut fish and chips. The presentation was nowhere near the polished photos we saw online. The fish portion was small for the price, and again, tasted frozen and low-quality. The coleslaw was unpleasant, the tartar sauce was disappointing, and while the fries were okay, there was nothing special about them either. All in all, this experience was a major letdown. The online reviews and curated photos are completely misleading. I won’t be returning.

We went here for lunch, specifically to have some fish and chips. The restaurant was not so busy when we went. There was only one waitress working but, she was very attentive, taking care of about 6 tables. The restaurant is very clean, and has an extensive fish menu. We ordered the haddock fish and chips, fish tacos and a dish of pan fried haddock for a person that was allergic to shrimps. All the was very good. We also had a Kingsville beer, which is a local beer.

We absolutely love Joey’s Seafood in Leamington! The food is always fresh, delicious, and consistently amazing. We make the drive from Windsor every week—or at least once a month—and it’s always worth it. They never disappoint! The service is top-notch, and the staff is friendly, welcoming, and always goes above and beyond to make sure we have a great experience. It’s one of those places you just keep coming back to—and we definitely will, again and again. Highly recommend for anyone who loves great seafood and warm hospitality!

Fish tacos and fish sandwich were delicious, the flavour were great. Fish melted in our mouths, not too much breading either. Fries are cooked to perfection. Service was great. Can’t wait to return

Hillman Marsh Conservation Area, located in Leamington, is a stunning marshland with 5 kilometers of trails that include dirt paths and boardwalks over the marsh. It's a popular spot for birdwatching, especially for observing nesting shorebirds and their young. The boardwalk provides an up-close view of the diverse habitat where you can see various bird species, frogs, turtles, and flora.
What a find this area was today! I was roadtripping with no agenda, so just went where the wind blew me! As I turned on to a side road, I looked to my left and a gorgeous bad eagle was flying beside me! I quickly looked up the area to see where it may have a hang out spot...found it at Hillman Marsh! Sat in the parking lot having my picnic after I used the qr code signage to pay for parking ($5) Then headed out to walk the 4.7km trail that was well marked and clear of debris etc. Saw the 2 bald eagles, 2 mute swans, great blue herons, great egrets, mallard ducks, a massive frog, cormorants galore, it was just a bird paradise! Saw some kayakers on the water, will try that next time! Thoroughly enjoyed the trails and the Marsh vibe. Only saw 2 other ppl on the trail. Will visit again in the spring! An excellent locale to visit when Point Peele National Park is everflowing with tourists! If you are in Essex County, get to this conservation area!

It's such a beautiful place to walk around. We saw a few different kinds of birds even though we were a few weeks shy of migration, baby geese, and there were fish jumping all over. I also saw an orange fish in one of the bodies of water that looked like a koi. I wasn't sure if it was meant to be there, but it was interesting

It was a very beautiful hike around the one area. Unfortunately the boardwalk around the marsh was closed but that can't be helped. It was gorgeous and we seen so many butterflies, dragonflies and some different birds. Will definitely go back again.

Great place to spend the day, there is a boat launch that you can put a small boat in or launch a canoe, kayak, or even a jetski. There are trails and places to have a picnic. Good to take the whole family for a day out in nature

One of my favourite outdoor spots in Essex county. Wide variety of indigenous reptiles ( bland, slider and common snapping turtles, eastern fox snakes and garter snakes), frogs, toads.. not to mention all the birds that migrate through the area or call Essex county home.

Quiet and filled with life in the pond. The marsh was pretty dry due to no rain for abt 2 weeks but we still had the opportunity to see heron, rabbits, turtles, ducks, and other birds. We only saw a small portion of the area and plan on going back to check out the beach and other pathways we missed. There is also a small second story patio to look out at the area. Most enjoyable.

Excellent birdwatching spot! This was my baby's first bird watching expedition! And we got a bonus experience: The Detroit symphony orchestra played a free concert outdoors at the nature center and the birds sang along with flute and the harp!!!! it was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life! (I recorded some of what we heard at that concert... if you would like to hear it please visit my YouTube channel and/or bandlab. Table and Spoon 3)

Another wonderful conservation area maintained by Essex Region Conservation Authority. The entire trail is quite a long walk. Talks about an hour to go around the marshes. 90% of the trail is grass so feels good to walk. There's a bird watching tower in the middle of the marshes. There's also a boardwalk that takes us into the marshes. Washrooms are maintained well. Great place to spend some evening hours.

Peavey Mart is a delightful chain of farm and ranch stores that welcomes your furry friends, making it a perfect stop for pet owners. Located in Leamington, ON, this store offers an impressive range of products including lawn and garden supplies, hardware essentials, and outdoor clothing. The friendly staff goes above and beyond to assist customers; one shopper shared how Shane helped them find the perfect camping chair by coordinating with another location to ensure they got what they needed.

Visited on a Saturday at 2pm. Found only a cashier working. Couldn't find another worker in the entire store. The cashier said there's one more worker, but she didn't know where they were. The store has nice yard accessories. The plants were very expensive. One hanging flower was 44.99. Ended up going outside ourselves to get what we needed. Stone was very heavy and would have been nice to have assistance.

Curbside pickup and online ordering is an absolute disaster. Phoned first week of June and was told they were filling online orders within a couple of days. Ordered 4 items online that were all said to be in stock at this store. Received a call the next day and was told 2 of the 4 items were available, that I could pick up what they had, and the rest would be in stock in a day or two. No call or communication for a week until I called them to ask if I could pick up what was available. They had sold what they had of my order to another customer, after having charged my credit card a week before, so after 10 days they had zero items in stock. The associate, (first initial L), whom I spoke with felt so horrible for me that she promised I would hear back from her within a day with some sort of update. That was 4 weeks ago. I was not allowed to cancel the order through the store, numerous attempts to email customer service were ignored, and it took weeks and dozens of calls to reach someone by phone. I have been promised it a week from now, so TSC will have had my money for 6 weeks and delivered me zero product. I will never shop here again.
N P — Google review
Friendly helpful people with a lot of interesting products. Large animal supplies and feed to be had as well as an extensive dog supply area as well. can be a bit slow to get help at the back counter but worth the wait as the people usually know how to help you with your project and can provide catalogs to order items not on the floor.
Dom W — Google review
Staff is friendly but know one is usually around if you have questions or you are having trouble finding something. Sale items are almost always sold out. Waste lots of time looking for the sale items, then find out its sold out. Would be a much better rating if those things improve but it's been this way as long as I've lived in the area. Unfortunate because we usually just shop somewhere else because of it.

Visited Pelee Wings Nature Store, Experience Nature! while in the area. Warmly greeted by a young employee who offered assistance. Inquired about Wilderness Systems kayak cart and was pleasantly surprised to find it $47.00 cheaper than Amazon. The shop had an impressive selection of products and provided exceptional customer service despite it being an off-season Tuesday. Staff members were seen helping customers with various needs such as tying kayaks onto cars and offering information on local birds through binoculars.
On Saturday, my boyfriend and I had the pleasure of visiting Pelee Wings for a kayaking and dinner experience, and it was exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel at ease. Cam at the front desk provided some of the best customer service we've ever encountered. After a sun-soaked day at local parks, we were in need of water. While they didn’t have any beverages for sale, Cam went above and beyond by bringing us a refreshing glass at no charge and reassured us that he’d handle the cleaning later. This thoughtful gesture set the tone for our sunset adventure. Throughout our kayak trip, the staff were incredibly friendly and offered helpful tips to enhance our comfort on the water. Following our adventure, we were treated to drinks, juice, and water, and we enjoyed a stunning sunset view with a cozy bonfire overlooking Lake Erie. The highlight of the evening was the outstanding beef tenderloin dinner, which was locally sourced. Owners Butch and Kim, who personally introduced themselves and joined us for dinner, exemplify what true hospitality is all about. Their dedication to their community and their guests was evident in every aspect of the experience. I rarely write reviews, but Pelee Wings truly deserves recognition for their remarkable service and memorable experience. Whether you're new to kayaking or a seasoned pro, this place will make sure you have a fantastic time. We’ll definitely be back with more friends! Thank you to everyone at Pelee Wings for creating such an incredible memory.

Sometimes big things come in small packages. Today it was one small screw. For the past year I've been trying to jury-rig my binoculars so they would attach to my chest harness. The hard plastic loops had broken off the bins and I'd been unsuccessful at finding a substitution. Not a single camera, scope, or binocular supplier locally could suggest a fix. But these were perfectly good bins! I did not want to order from an American multi-national. Instead, I tried my luck with Pelee Wings. Eric was off the day of my email, but Cameron stepped in. Immediately he dropped a screw in an envelope and shipped it to me. Amazing!! At last I can carry my bins around my neck again. So you see, what was a small package was not just a screw. It was brilliant service with a big heart. Thank you so much.

Peele wings is a must visit when travelling to Leamington, On. We went Kayaking for two hours then had a steak dinner afterwards. I ordered some compact binoculars online, and accidentally ordered them twice. I called the store when they opened, the person who I talked to deleted one of my orders, sent me an email confirmation showing it was done, and then processed my order the same day. I received my order within a few days, and my wife has been enjoying her new birding binoculars since. Better prices than the big box stores, and friendly service knowledgeable service. What more could you ask for?
DinoMary F — Google review
Staff at Pelee Wings are knowledgeable about their products and very helpful to birders and others. We bought Swarovski binoculars here two years ago and the staff continue to help us. I love browsing through this store in person and online. I am happy to give Pelee Wings my highest recommendation!
Cathy E — Google review
This is an awesome place for outdoor optics and kayaks and paddle-boards. Kayak and paddleboard rentals are available as well and can be launched right from their property. They carry all the related gear as well and if they don’t have it in stock they know where to get it. I found the prices to be a bit high but as with all things in life, you get what you pay for. Plus, the service here is excellent so that makes it much easier to pay a premium price for a premium product. Highly recommend this place.
John F — Google review
Pelee Wings was recommended to my by other birders and I was extremely appreciative of the assistance I got narrowing down a suitable spotting scope and tripod set up for my specific needs 2 years ago. The customer service then was exceptional both by phone and in highly detailed emails with info and costs for different options. I was beyond pleased with the assistance I just got from Eric B, manager when I had a small part that broke on my mount and learned my head should have had a lever/arm. My husband called it "customer service extraordinaire!" I have been recommending this store to others needing gear and only hope I can save and free up money to get a new pair of binoculars that I have wanted. I will definitely be ordering any further gear from Pelee Wings. If I ever can get to the area to bird I will come by to see the actual store. Thanks for all the exceptional help! I don't tend to like online buying, but this has worked quite well for me and others I know.

My fiancée suggested we check out Wings for some new kayak gear—she had a great experience there a couple of years ago, and after our visit, I totally get why. We dropped by on a grey, rainy day, but the moment we walked in, the vibe shifted. Luke greeted us with a warm welcome and an easygoing attitude that made the whole experience feel less like shopping and more like planning an adventure. He patiently answered all our questions, offered thoughtful gear suggestions, and gave us the rundown on Wings’ awesome services—like upcoming guided kayak trips and group technique training sessions. It was clear they’re not just selling equipment—they’re helping people get the most out of their time on the water. We walked out excited, inspired, and ready for an unforgettable summer of paddling. If you're even thinking about getting into kayaking or upgrading your gear, Wings is absolutely worth the visit.

Erie Shores Golf & Country Club is a hidden gem nestled along the picturesque shores of Lake Erie, offering an unforgettable golfing experience. This stunning 18-hole course stretches approximately 6,300 yards and boasts a par of 72, making it suitable for golfers of all skill levels. I love Erie Shores. The course is in great shape. Loved my 18 here. The staff was great - the pro shop, starter, and lovely server on the patio / 19th hole. I wanted to sit on the lake afterwards, but maybe next time. Thank you so much for a wonderful morning. We all had a blast and will be back ASAP.

I love playing this course. Well treed and usually in good condition. However, the fact that I am not a member does not allow me to use the driving range! I would like to warm up before my round but they don't allow that. I truly do not understand rule. They closed/sold the club house so now we don't have lunch after our round. Very well maintained course, lovely staff and affordable! Every few holes there are washroom facilities, they also have a cute little snack shack before the 9th hole with a great menu and some snacks/drinks. The fairways are nice and wide, greens were perfect and I thoroughly enjoyed playing this course. Keep in mind it is difficult to find your ball in the rough at any hole… and it’s also difficult to hit it out of the rough here. It was around $70 per person including a cart(this was on a long weekend too) which in my opinion is super affordable. Will 100% be back in the near future.

Pelee Island Vineyards is the magical place where all the grape-growing and preparation happens for Pelee Island Winery. The vineyards are bustling with activity as they work hard to keep things running smoothly. The friendly staff, known as the amigos, are always ready to greet visitors with a warm wave. It's not just a great winery; it's also home to some of the nicest people you'll meet. And of course, the wine produced here is top-notch.
This is where all the magic happens for the Pelee Island Winery. Do not be fooled by the posted pictures. Some of them are wrong. They actually show the main retail store of the the Kingsville location on the mainland. I asked a lot of staff about it and many do not even know it exists. Those few that did, knew it as the warehouse and where the largest grape field acreage is, not as a place to visit.

After visiting nearby Point Pelee, many patrons have found themselves drawn to this eatery, where the owner Johnny and his family go above and beyond to cater to dietary needs—ensuring vegetarian meals are prepared without any meat contamination.

Tonight woman insisted I could not change out the rice for rice I wanted. You keep turning customers away the money I would have spent there is going to Wheatley. I read Rachel Phan's memoir Restaurant Kid and decided to drop by China Village Cuisine after visiting Point Pelee. There are copies of her book on display. It's takeout only, and I got the #3 daily special for two, which comes out to around $30. Chinese restaurant
Restaurant
Wong's 2 Go in Leamington offers a taste of childhood with their BBQ Pork Lo Mein, reminiscent of Toronto's Old Chinatown. The restaurant is known for consistently great food and excellent service, reflecting the care the family puts into their business. While there may be occasional hiccups during busy times, such as mixed-up orders due to limited staff, customers appreciate the quick resolution and delicious homemade dishes like wonton soup and plum sauce.
Delicious food, great portions, didn't disappoint! Since I moved to Windsor, from Leamington I have missed Wong's, Chinese Food! I can't find any local spots on the Eastside that are worthy. This year, I couldn't get out of the house so, as my birthday dinner request, my mama brought the food order up with her. Everything stayed warm for the drive in a Costco insulated bag and it was just as I had hoped. Thank you!😘

Ordered a large quantity of food for 13 people. Called in the order for a set time of about 1 hour later. Arrived and food was ready on time, hot, and was enjoyed by those who like Chinese food. Staff were friendly and take out was very efficient.

This establishment used to be our #1 for Chinese cuisine. We always order dinner for 2. The last few times have had us disappointed. The chicken balls were so thick with batter, and it tasted very starchy. Nothing is worse than smelling burnt fried rice when you're very hungry. We will not continue to order from this establishment. I'm very disappointed.

Ordered “Ginger Beef” over the phone and expected something a lot different than the photo. Ordered “chow mein” and got a bunch of soupy bean sprouts with no noodles. Presentation was nice and service was very friendly.

Best Chinese Food I've had so far in Leamington. It was a very fair amount of food for the price. The food was ordered and ready within 15 minutes. Everything tasted great and was very fresh. No complaints at all!

Not good, not a big critic of Chinese food, but this place was not good .... Nice family ran business, price was fair for what we got , but no flavor
Tom K — Google review
Ordered 3 different types of their fried rice. Only rice and minimum meat. I have never encountered this before. Other chinese restaurant's fried rice have lots of meat.

This is the place for good chinese takeout.

Food was really good. We took the black truffle family sized pizza which was really yummy. Restaurant was clean and washroom is really clean.

Wholesome experience at Oven 360, Leamington location. Not only pizzas were amazing, gelato, cannoli were yummy too🥰. We had 3 different pizzas, 2 scoops of ice cream (4 different flavours 😊) and 2 flavours of Cannolis.

I feel like I have to share the fact that I have had raw pizza dough crust several times at this particular location. They need to figure this out because when the pizza is cooked properly it's quite good. I have never had this happen at the other locations.

Ordered online. Had to wait little longer than the pick up time texted to me but they were nice and kept updating me. The dessert I ordered was out of stock so i got the apple caramel cheesecake which was pretty decent. Pizza was quite good!

Never ordering from here again!! Girlfriend, ordered a pizza to be picked up for 5:15-5:30 as I was working. Then at 4:40 she receives a call being told that her pizza is ready and asked when it’s getting picked up. She reiterated that it won’t be picked up until atleast after 5 as agreed. Rather than compensating for a mistake I was to pay full price for a cold pizza. Extremely disappointed, pizza looks really bad, over cooked and burnt, will never return here again. Used to think oven 360 had high quality pizza worth the premium.

Ordered 5 pizzas and what I assumed was 6 dipping sauces to be delivered to me. They were delivered to the wrong people whom ended up bringing them to me. After looking at my ordered I only had 3/6 of my dipping sauces. A marinara, pesto and red pepper dip. I called regarding my missing second red pepper dip and 2 garlic aiolis. I was told I can drive in to pick them up after paying $20 for deliver on my $130 worth of pizza. After arguing with the staff and manager to come up with a solution besides giving me free dips on my next visit (I live 2.5 hours away) or having me drive in to pick them up, they then remembered that the garlic aoli is actually a drizzle and not a dipping sauce which is the most deceiving thing I have ever seen since it’s in the exact same spot on the website but yet the other aolis come as a dipping sauce. So I ended up being short changed 1 dip, so I tried explaining how deceiving the ordering process is to which the manager hung up on me. I then go to eat my pizza to then find that they didn’t add my extra topping (chicken), just to really top off my experience. I would never order from this place again… I would give it a 0 star review if I could and I would fire the manager if he worked for me.

Alot has changed since the last time I came in. The pizza looks different, we ordered a family size it was pretty much just sauce on bread.

I visited Ship Ahoy Restaurant today after a trip to Point Pelee National Park. Its location is ideal, just outside the park. The ambiance was delightful, and the decorations were impressive. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating options. The service was exceptional, with friendly and polite staff. The food was fantastic; I tried their poutine, fish and chips, and perch tacos. The poutine was delicious but could benefit from more gravy.
A small honey place. I ordered the Lake Erie Perch with homemade french fries. It came with homemade tartar sauce. It was all delicious. Our server, owner and chef was very courteous. Also it was lovely to sit on the quiet patio and watch the birds! I forgot to take a photo before eating!

Pleasant place to stop for a restroom and grab some food before entering Point Pelee National Park! We enjoyed the cookies, hotdog, fries and a drink we got. We arrived around noon, and found it was quiet and clean. Thank you!

Spent a warm day at Point Pelee and decided to stop here on the way home for a sweet treat. The staff were friendly and they had a nice selection of Chapman's Ice Cream. However, the price for this size scoop was the highest I've paid all summer. Won't stop here for ice cream again. They also don't have garbage cans out on the patio, so I had to take my trash with me and drop it off at the park's garbage cans.

Excellent service and great place to stop by to cool off on a hot day with some nice ice cream. Also has plenty to offer in terms of food options. Worth a stop before you head back on the road from this wonderful location.

We recently visited and had the fish & chips and the lake perch — both were excellent! The portions were generous and everything was cooked perfectly. I even tried the homemade tartar sauce (and I never eat tartar sauce!) — it was delicious. Great meal all around. Would definitely recommend! PS - the homemade toom was also delicious!

Stopped here with my husband and kids for lunch after a hike at Point Pelee. The owner was warm and welcoming and the food was amazing. Highly recommend the perch tacos and fries! We will definitely be back.

We got a friendly, happy welcome when we walked into this little eatery. The fish and chips were hot and delicious. And there was a nice choice of ice creams for desserts. The owner was busy with many orders when we went in, but he did a great job for every customer.

We stop here leaving the park and the menu was a surprise. Perch hotdog( perch in hotdog bun - so good. And special of the day was smelts. Lightly breaded, hot and delicious. This made my day. The owner/chef is willing to chat and knows local history. Recommend!
