This place was packed, but the staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and efficient. They managed to accommodate us right away, and the food arrived surprisingly fast despite the rush. We were really impressed by their service. We actually came back the next night just for dessert — even though they were full, they went out of their way to set up a table for us on the patio and made sure we had space for our dog as well. Everyone was warm, respectful, and genuinely friendly. Definitely one of those places you’ll want to return to again and again. Highly recommended!

i honestly would come here more for the amazing margaritas. you can get it in any flavor and they’ll all be amazing. my favorite one was the chinola & limon. food portions are very little though. everytime i went the workers were honestly pure sweethearts. that’s another reason why i continued going.
Rossmairy ‘ — Google review
Always wanted to visit and finally made the trip this time around. The whole street is very beautifully decorated for pictures. They have workers there that are photographers in case you want better pics. The drinks were all awesome. Had the white sangria and boy are they strong. The coco mojitos were also delicious.. no complaints at all with the drinks at least that part was great! The food was ok. Nothing too memorable.. I must say that the churrasco was the best !! It was a lot more in cost than other places I have visited but it was good. It’s a great hangout spot and very chillax once you’re sitting down the vendors don’t come to annoy you with their services. If I’m around I will go visit again but the 1 hour trip from Santiago here it’s a bit complicated with the construction going on as they are widening the roads. Great establishment!
Johanna P — Google review
Loved this place! The service was amazing! Stopped by for the first time and enjoyed my experience. The place is decorated beautifully and the food was very yummy and the portions were big. We had the house mofongos which were delicious! They had a nice selection of plenty of drinks and food. The black coffee is also a MUST! Would for sure come back and recommend to any others coming!
Yeimi H — Google review
This is perhaps the most popular restaurant in Jarabacoa, and with good reason. It is a blast all around, both while you are there as well as the tours after the meal. Service can be a bit slow during busy hours.
Fausto T — Google review
Service is on point. Food is delicious. Only complaint I had was that the tostones were not on point how I expected them to be. There is also guys outside who take excellent photos and videos for your memories. You don’t have to tip the guys who take your photos and videos. However, please keep in mind that everyone has a family to feed so something is always better than nothing.

Best homemade ice creams in Jarabacoa and arguably best in Dominican Republic. The service was nice and attentive and although have a small terrace where you can seat and enjoy. Maybe it's hard for a lot of people to rate this humble place 5 stars, but for me incredibly is.

Que rico!!! These authentic Dominican ice creams are so delicious. Your supporting a local business and satisfying your taste buds. My favorite or the batata con coco (Dominican sweet potato with coconut). TOP TIER FLAVOR.

Great ice cream for $1. Interesting flavors also, I loved the sweet potato coconut one
Jason — Google review
Locally made fruity and creamy popsicles. Heavenly on a scorching hot day. Perfect for after taking pictures under the colorful umbrellas and giant moka pot nearby. The popsicles are poured into disposable cups and frozen so when you get one you gently squeeze the cup to release it and enjoy. There’s a bench inside you can sit on if you’d like. I went with a group of people and we tasted several flavors and they were all equally delicious. My favorite flavor was the coconut one. The popsicles are reminiscent of the ‘helados de fundita’ or ‘bolis’ many Dominicans grew up eating. Instead of eating it out of the small plastic bag you’re now enjoying it in popsicle form. An amazing treat in any shape or form.

Good ice cream, so flavors! The price is 35 peso for a good amount of homemade ice cream.

Restaurant
Tostado is a popular coffee roaster in La Vega, Dominican Republic. It offers a simple and relaxed atmosphere for visitors to enjoy. The restaurant is known for its gigantic burgers with delicious sides, making it the perfect spot to grab a meal while watching the sunset or getting some work done with their available WiFi. In addition to their famous burgers, Tostado also serves tasty waffles and good coffee, including Turkish coffee. Visitors can expect attentive service from the staff during their visit.
The hamburger was flavorful, and the bun was amazing! Jugo de limon and fresa was a hit too! As a coffee snob, the coffee was somewhat weak, however, good quality bean and top-notch equipment. They have chem-X and other options. Next time, I will request the Americano fuerte. Staff was nice. Great atmosphere. Most definitely returning!
Dave H — Google review
Good food, BAD service, mediocre coffee. The best thing about this place by far is the burgers. I had the Tarzan burger and it was absolutely delicious, plus my husband enjoyed his as well. We also returned the next morning for breakfast, which was tasty too. Now the cons: I was so excited to try the coffee as they use their own beans and I have heard great things, however it tasted watered down and they add way too much milk. It tasted like nothing and was brought out cold. Yes, they have lots of variety, but if it doesn’t taste good, it’s not worth the price. Also, although the burgers are tasty, they are highly inconsistent - my mom and I both got the Tarzan burger but hers came out with three patties and mine came out with two and we were charged the same for both. Also, when we asked for anything, the service was terrible. Food would come out and would be missing things that said were included on the menu. For example, we ordered breakfast bagels that included jalapenos. The bagels came out and did not have any jalapeños. We asked why, and she said they didn’t have any. After we had all finished eating, she brought a tiny cup full of jalapeños and said “oops, we found some.” We can’t really eat a cup of jalapeños without the bagels though. The mangu also said it came with fried cheese, but they brought it out without it and when we asked about it we just received a shrug in response and our server said “I guess they don’t have it.” The servers seemed very careless and didn’t want to help at all. Overall, this place is okay but nothing amazing and definitely frustrating.

10/10! Food was great and fresh very delicious, prices are reasonable and the ambiance is perfect. You have a great view of the mountains and the sunset. The restaurant is very cute and very modern. The decor is nice and It has fun aesthetics! The bikes , the swing and even a beautiful tree in the middle of the restaurant. There’s parking available as well. Will definitely come back to visit for sure!
Jeidy C — Google review
I went for the waffles but they were out of it. I loved the Caramel Macchiato, the cinnamon roll was good and the burgers too. It's a not a too pricey place but they're a bit slow.
Amaris M — Google review
A big plus the place has a small parking which was nice. As far as the experience in the restaurant, it was mediocre at best. Party of 4, and we all order something different and possibly share. Ordered waffles, and it was HARD, I mean, it was impossible to cut with a knife without pressing down hard . its flavor was lacking. It was a very boring looking plate... didn't even bother to snap pics. The other two were decent but just seem to have Been thrown together with no care on visual. On the other hand , the drinks! We're good and looked fantastic. This was the part I enjoyed the most and would only recommend.
Fenelix J — Google review
I had reviewed this place as a 5 star but I'm lowering it now. On the last visit two of our group got sick in the stomach after eating here. We also got the beignets and they were burnt. They covered the burnt side with powdered sugar so we wouldn't see it. Because we took bites of each one they wouldn't take it off the bill. We have eaten here many times with groups from the States and I've learned that at least 4 people have gotten stomach illness after eating here. I personally always enjoyed the hamburgers but we will not be bringing groups here in the future.
Mark U — Google review
Great place to watch the sunset, hang out, or get some work done (they’ve got WiFi). The coffee was good and the waffles tasty. I had an issue with one of the omelette, but after the manager came and talked to me they replaced it. Attentive servers! (I came 2 times during my 3 days in Jarabocoa)

Amazing place, excellent food, personal service from the heart and most importantly, personal attention.

We found the place to be extremely expensive for its location. While the menu offers great variety ranging from sushi to italian, it definitely was lackluster in terms of flavor. Moreover, despite being the only customers at the restaurant, the main dishes took around an hour to be served. This place could benefit from trimming down the menu offering to streamline their service.

Quiet spot, great food. My favorite is the sushi but you can get anything from goat stew to a caesar salad. Full bar as well. Polite and knowledgeable wait staff. Special mention to Anyolino and Alvaro, they always make sure our dining experience is the best.

Listen, the food at this place... Amazing is all I can say! We got a California roll and a Dominican roll to start. The rolls are HUGE and taste friggin awesome. Then we got creme de Mero (fish with cream sauce) and chivo picante (spicy goat). Let me tell you, the chefs there know what they are doing because that was the tasting goat I've ever eaten in my life! The fish wasn't too far behind either. If you are wondering about this place don't, just go. It's amazing! Look to spend about $60 USD (well worth every penny/peso!!!) for 2 people including beer. I'll also add that the service there is outstanding! The server was very attentive without being overbearing.

I love the food here but I am very disappointed in the sushi. I ordered 2 rolls which were good..but barely had anything inside. It was a mouthful of rice😒 These 2 rolls cost me almost 1000 pesos and we’re not worth the price at all. Won’t be getting sushi from here again.

Came on a Sunday with my husband after some friends mentioned that this place had very delicious cheesecakes. Since we went during lunch time, we decided to stay and eat. We got seated right away. They have sports on the TVs, and a children's playground just off the eating area. The menu has a variety of different options to choose from, like pizza, burgers, pastas, even mofongo. The service was good too. We order their pizza supreme, all the ingredients were fresh. I wasn’t too fond about their Oreo cookie cheesecake, the taste was different from the ones I e tasted back home, but I will visit again and order their pizza when I visit Jarabacoa.

Great pizza! Second time ordering this time i went in person! Place is pretty big and has plenty of seating area inside and outside. Also is family friendly! Has a play ground for the kids to play while you wait for the pizza. This location is a bakery as well. I didn’t try any (yet) but their cakes look delicious! Specially the one with passion fruit jelly on top. Very easy to get to. Can’t miss It.

I was excited about this restaurant and I told my self when I come to Santo Domingo I have to visit it. I was wearing a high waisted skirt and a crop top that was very modest while showing little belly skin. The hostess named STEPHANIE said she couldn’t sit me down, because of my attire. I said okay I will put my skirt a little high. She said “no, your chest is showing!!” My chest was covered! I went back to my hotel and wore a sweater and came back to the restaurant. While I was sitting I saw a lot of women with crop tops worst than mine. As well a bunch of women showing cleavage. I went to approach the other hostess and said, there’s a bunch a women wearing crop tops. She apologized and said, STEPHANIE didn’t want to sit us down. I wanted to say something to Stephanie, but she already had left. It was a hassle paying several Ubers, but I still wanted to try the resturant. We had a waiter names Lester (Cubano) he was very attentive. The food was delicious! Starting we had the Ceasar salad, and mozzarella which I highly recommend. For main course we had the churascco and spicy alla vodka. Highly recommend! would go back for sure! Beware of Stephanie if you’re a tourist or a very attractive female.
Sahra P — Google review
C'mon better logistic please!!! Party of 8 (5 adults, 2 kids and 1 baby), we waited more than 1 hour to get a seat and then 45 minutes to get our food. I though i was going to eat the best pizza in the world, but no it wasn't by far. Looks like they made the pizza cheese only and then realize that it was half ham and cheese and half supreme so they add the ingredients and heated again. At the end it was cheese pizza only because all the ingredients fall out of the slice :/ It's time to think big and add more tables or do something with the logistic and the customer services because waiters where going like crazy running from one table to other. I believe that our order could be taken while we waited and so they had it ready when we went to sit Also they guy who was cutting the pizza was tire or the cutter wasn't working at all :| In resume, it was a bad experience for me and i hope owners improve soon because for some reason IT WAS FULL. A positive comment, one of the group said that the hamburger was worth the wait.

Pleasantly surprised with this spot. I'm not a wing fan but I was surprised at how tasty they were. The mofonguitos were soo delicious too. Portions were generous and seasoned perfectly. Atmosphere was very authentic and local. Give this place a try! You won't regret it 100%.

Such a good place to eat. The wings are huge, even a small order of 6 is quite a bit of food. They will get you anything you want to drink even if they don't have it on the menu they will go grab it from a store for you. Owner is super chill. Hottest wings I have had in this country.

We called to order since we were famished! The moment we got there they sat us and took our drinks order. It was Sunday and hectic, since it was full house. But our food was delicious and cooked to perfection! The ambience was happy, neat and clean spaces, with it’s eclectic style and many families and group of friends. We sat inside since this summer is too hot to enjoy the terrace but many people were enjoying the outside area.

High-quality, flavorful food with both indoor and outdoor dining options. You get New York–level quality at less than half the price. It’s become my new favorite restaurant in Jarabacoa—I’ve already been several times this week.

The food was delicious! Atmosphere on the terrace was very nice and service was friendly. Natural juices like strawberry was one of the best we had around here. I would recommend the fried Chillo it was amazing, my husband had the chicharron fried rice which was really good too. The flan de leche was exactly as i like it! Prices were good too. Worth coming at least once when passing by Jarabacoa.

Been here three times and it's been amazing everytime. Food is great, drinks (which can also be non-alcoholic) are delicious and there is a wide range of steaks, pork, chicken, pasta and vegetable dishes.
