The ceviche was awesome, the coffee great, the food was delicious. The coconut mojito is the best I ever tried. Love it! The photo ops I really enjoyed it. Paid parking near and the little store with souvenirs near the parking have good prices.

This place was packed, but the staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and efficient. They managed to accommodate us right away, and the food arrived surprisingly fast despite the rush. We were really impressed by their service. We actually came back the next night just for dessert — even though they were full, they went out of their way to set up a table for us on the patio and made sure we had space for our dog as well. Everyone was warm, respectful, and genuinely friendly. Definitely one of those places you’ll want to return to again and again. Highly recommended!

i honestly would come here more for the amazing margaritas. you can get it in any flavor and they’ll all be amazing. my favorite one was the chinola & limon. food portions are very little though. everytime i went the workers were honestly pure sweethearts. that’s another reason why i continued going.
Rossmairy ‘ — Google review
Always wanted to visit and finally made the trip this time around. The whole street is very beautifully decorated for pictures. They have workers there that are photographers in case you want better pics. The drinks were all awesome. Had the white sangria and boy are they strong. The coco mojitos were also delicious.. no complaints at all with the drinks at least that part was great! The food was ok. Nothing too memorable.. I must say that the churrasco was the best !! It was a lot more in cost than other places I have visited but it was good. It’s a great hangout spot and very chillax once you’re sitting down the vendors don’t come to annoy you with their services. If I’m around I will go visit again but the 1 hour trip from Santiago here it’s a bit complicated with the construction going on as they are widening the roads. Great establishment!

This is perhaps the most popular restaurant in Jarabacoa, and with good reason. It is a blast all around, both while you are there as well as the tours after the meal. Service can be a bit slow during busy hours.
Fausto T — Google review
This was definitely a vibe! Great food. Perfect natural drink of juices Music was good.

They have discovered the great secret of satisfying a customer. Good Food, great environment and outstanding services. They even have a dedicated tooth pick for the table and their house lunch have 3 meals that are only 600 pesos or 10 dollars. This is a must place, and if you are a US Veteran they may give you a hand salute why accommodating your request. Great place to eat and very safe.

Best homemade ice creams in Jarabacoa and arguably best in Dominican Republic. The service was nice and attentive and although have a small terrace where you can seat and enjoy. Maybe it's hard for a lot of people to rate this humble place 5 stars, but for me incredibly is.

Que rico!!! These authentic Dominican ice creams are so delicious. Your supporting a local business and satisfying your taste buds. My favorite or the batata con coco (Dominican sweet potato with coconut). TOP TIER FLAVOR.

Great ice cream for $1. Interesting flavors also, I loved the sweet potato coconut one
Jason — Google review
Locally made fruity and creamy popsicles. Heavenly on a scorching hot day. Perfect for after taking pictures under the colorful umbrellas and giant moka pot nearby. The popsicles are poured into disposable cups and frozen so when you get one you gently squeeze the cup to release it and enjoy. There’s a bench inside you can sit on if you’d like. I went with a group of people and we tasted several flavors and they were all equally delicious. My favorite flavor was the coconut one. The popsicles are reminiscent of the ‘helados de fundita’ or ‘bolis’ many Dominicans grew up eating. Instead of eating it out of the small plastic bag you’re now enjoying it in popsicle form. An amazing treat in any shape or form.

Good ice cream, so flavors! The price is 35 peso for a good amount of homemade ice cream.

Restaurant
Tostado is a popular coffee roaster in La Vega, Dominican Republic. It offers a simple and relaxed atmosphere for visitors to enjoy. The restaurant is known for its gigantic burgers with delicious sides, making it the perfect spot to grab a meal while watching the sunset or getting some work done with their available WiFi. In addition to their famous burgers, Tostado also serves tasty waffles and good coffee, including Turkish coffee. Visitors can expect attentive service from the staff during their visit.
The hamburger was flavorful, and the bun was amazing! Jugo de limon and fresa was a hit too! As a coffee snob, the coffee was somewhat weak, however, good quality bean and top-notch equipment. They have chem-X and other options. Next time, I will request the Americano fuerte. Staff was nice. Great atmosphere. Most definitely returning!
Dave H — Google review
Good food, BAD service, mediocre coffee. The best thing about this place by far is the burgers. I had the Tarzan burger and it was absolutely delicious, plus my husband enjoyed his as well. We also returned the next morning for breakfast, which was tasty too. Now the cons: I was so excited to try the coffee as they use their own beans and I have heard great things, however it tasted watered down and they add way too much milk. It tasted like nothing and was brought out cold. Yes, they have lots of variety, but if it doesn’t taste good, it’s not worth the price. Also, although the burgers are tasty, they are highly inconsistent - my mom and I both got the Tarzan burger but hers came out with three patties and mine came out with two and we were charged the same for both. Also, when we asked for anything, the service was terrible. Food would come out and would be missing things that said were included on the menu. For example, we ordered breakfast bagels that included jalapenos. The bagels came out and did not have any jalapeños. We asked why, and she said they didn’t have any. After we had all finished eating, she brought a tiny cup full of jalapeños and said “oops, we found some.” We can’t really eat a cup of jalapeños without the bagels though. The mangu also said it came with fried cheese, but they brought it out without it and when we asked about it we just received a shrug in response and our server said “I guess they don’t have it.” The servers seemed very careless and didn’t want to help at all. Overall, this place is okay but nothing amazing and definitely frustrating.

10/10! Food was great and fresh very delicious, prices are reasonable and the ambiance is perfect. You have a great view of the mountains and the sunset. The restaurant is very cute and very modern. The decor is nice and It has fun aesthetics! The bikes , the swing and even a beautiful tree in the middle of the restaurant. There’s parking available as well. Will definitely come back to visit for sure!
Jeidy C — Google review
I went for the waffles but they were out of it. I loved the Caramel Macchiato, the cinnamon roll was good and the burgers too. It's a not a too pricey place but they're a bit slow.
Amaris M — Google review
A big plus the place has a small parking which was nice. As far as the experience in the restaurant, it was mediocre at best. Party of 4, and we all order something different and possibly share. Ordered waffles, and it was HARD, I mean, it was impossible to cut with a knife without pressing down hard . its flavor was lacking. It was a very boring looking plate... didn't even bother to snap pics. The other two were decent but just seem to have Been thrown together with no care on visual. On the other hand , the drinks! We're good and looked fantastic. This was the part I enjoyed the most and would only recommend.
Fenelix J — Google review
I had reviewed this place as a 5 star but I'm lowering it now. On the last visit two of our group got sick in the stomach after eating here. We also got the beignets and they were burnt. They covered the burnt side with powdered sugar so we wouldn't see it. Because we took bites of each one they wouldn't take it off the bill. We have eaten here many times with groups from the States and I've learned that at least 4 people have gotten stomach illness after eating here. I personally always enjoyed the hamburgers but we will not be bringing groups here in the future.
Mark U — Google review
Great place to watch the sunset, hang out, or get some work done (they’ve got WiFi). The coffee was good and the waffles tasty. I had an issue with one of the omelette, but after the manager came and talked to me they replaced it. Attentive servers! (I came 2 times during my 3 days in Jarabocoa)

Amazing place, excellent food, personal service from the heart and most importantly, personal attention.

We found the place to be extremely expensive for its location. While the menu offers great variety ranging from sushi to italian, it definitely was lackluster in terms of flavor. Moreover, despite being the only customers at the restaurant, the main dishes took around an hour to be served. This place could benefit from trimming down the menu offering to streamline their service.
Jose M — Google review
Quiet spot, great food. My favorite is the sushi but you can get anything from goat stew to a caesar salad. Full bar as well. Polite and knowledgeable wait staff. Special mention to Anyolino and Alvaro, they always make sure our dining experience is the best.

Listen, the food at this place... Amazing is all I can say! We got a California roll and a Dominican roll to start. The rolls are HUGE and taste friggin awesome. Then we got creme de Mero (fish with cream sauce) and chivo picante (spicy goat). Let me tell you, the chefs there know what they are doing because that was the tasting goat I've ever eaten in my life! The fish wasn't too far behind either. If you are wondering about this place don't, just go. It's amazing! Look to spend about $60 USD (well worth every penny/peso!!!) for 2 people including beer. I'll also add that the service there is outstanding! The server was very attentive without being overbearing.

I love the food here but I am very disappointed in the sushi. I ordered 2 rolls which were good..but barely had anything inside. It was a mouthful of rice😒 These 2 rolls cost me almost 1000 pesos and we’re not worth the price at all. Won’t be getting sushi from here again.

Came on a Sunday with my husband after some friends mentioned that this place had very delicious cheesecakes. Since we went during lunch time, we decided to stay and eat. We got seated right away. They have sports on the TVs, and a children's playground just off the eating area. The menu has a variety of different options to choose from, like pizza, burgers, pastas, even mofongo. The service was good too. We order their pizza supreme, all the ingredients were fresh. I wasn’t too fond about their Oreo cookie cheesecake, the taste was different from the ones I e tasted back home, but I will visit again and order their pizza when I visit Jarabacoa.

Great pizza! Second time ordering this time i went in person! Place is pretty big and has plenty of seating area inside and outside. Also is family friendly! Has a play ground for the kids to play while you wait for the pizza. This location is a bakery as well. I didn’t try any (yet) but their cakes look delicious! Specially the one with passion fruit jelly on top. Very easy to get to. Can’t miss It.

I was excited about this restaurant and I told my self when I come to Santo Domingo I have to visit it. I was wearing a high waisted skirt and a crop top that was very modest while showing little belly skin. The hostess named STEPHANIE said she couldn’t sit me down, because of my attire. I said okay I will put my skirt a little high. She said “no, your chest is showing!!” My chest was covered! I went back to my hotel and wore a sweater and came back to the restaurant. While I was sitting I saw a lot of women with crop tops worst than mine. As well a bunch of women showing cleavage. I went to approach the other hostess and said, there’s a bunch a women wearing crop tops. She apologized and said, STEPHANIE didn’t want to sit us down. I wanted to say something to Stephanie, but she already had left. It was a hassle paying several Ubers, but I still wanted to try the resturant. We had a waiter names Lester (Cubano) he was very attentive. The food was delicious! Starting we had the Ceasar salad, and mozzarella which I highly recommend. For main course we had the churascco and spicy alla vodka. Highly recommend! would go back for sure! Beware of Stephanie if you’re a tourist or a very attractive female.
Sahra P — Google review
C'mon better logistic please!!! Party of 8 (5 adults, 2 kids and 1 baby), we waited more than 1 hour to get a seat and then 45 minutes to get our food. I though i was going to eat the best pizza in the world, but no it wasn't by far. Looks like they made the pizza cheese only and then realize that it was half ham and cheese and half supreme so they add the ingredients and heated again. At the end it was cheese pizza only because all the ingredients fall out of the slice :/ It's time to think big and add more tables or do something with the logistic and the customer services because waiters where going like crazy running from one table to other. I believe that our order could be taken while we waited and so they had it ready when we went to sit Also they guy who was cutting the pizza was tire or the cutter wasn't working at all :| In resume, it was a bad experience for me and i hope owners improve soon because for some reason IT WAS FULL. A positive comment, one of the group said that the hamburger was worth the wait.

Best restaurant in Jarabacoa! My husband and I are picky, and this place gets the vibe just right. It’s relaxed but the wait staff is super attentive. And best of all the food is delicious! Also, they have Heinz ketchup…if you know, you know. 10/10!!!

Pleasantly surprised with this spot. I'm not a wing fan but I was surprised at how tasty they were. The mofonguitos were soo delicious too. Portions were generous and seasoned perfectly. Atmosphere was very authentic and local. Give this place a try! You won't regret it 100%.

Such a good place to eat. The wings are huge, even a small order of 6 is quite a bit of food. They will get you anything you want to drink even if they don't have it on the menu they will go grab it from a store for you. Owner is super chill. Hottest wings I have had in this country.

We called to order since we were famished! The moment we got there they sat us and took our drinks order. It was Sunday and hectic, since it was full house. But our food was delicious and cooked to perfection! The ambience was happy, neat and clean spaces, with it’s eclectic style and many families and group of friends. The food was delicious! Atmosphere on the terrace was very nice and service was friendly. Natural juices like strawberry was one of the best we had around here. I would recommend the fried Chillo it was amazing, my husband had the chicharron fried rice which was really good too. The flan de leche was exactly as i like it! Prices were good too. Worth coming at least once when passing by Jarabacoa.

Serviced accommodation
Nestled along the banks of the picturesque Jimenoa River, Gran Jimenoa Hotel offers a serene escape just a short five-minute drive from Jarabacoa's city center. This charming riverside retreat features cozy accommodations with balconies that provide stunning views of either the flowing river or majestic mountains. Guests can unwind in the expansive outdoor pool, explore lush gardens, or indulge in rejuvenating spa treatments.
Had a wonderful time. The rooms are clean and spacious. We had a rooms witb Riverview it was so wonderful sleeping with the soothing sound of the river in the background. The service is wonderful, personell is ready to help and give advice where needed. Also have enough information to give tips or even help out with your wishes.

I highly recommend this place. This is still one of the best eco hotels in the area. The constant background sound of the river is very relaxing, and they have multiple pools, including jacuzzi and a heated pool. However, the rooms need some upgrading as most of the equipment won't work properly and some can smell of humidity.

Here again back after a year or so and I can truly say you get what you pay for. This definitely once was a grand hotel and is now awaiting new investors. I love the staff. They believe in their product more than their bosses. They are eager to please with limited resources or guidance. It took two workers and too many minutes to get a price on an item in their display. The menu is priced above average for the city but I enjoy the food. Were it not for the beautiful Jimenoa river running past in mighty splendor there would be no reason for not running out of here
Chris A — Google review
This is a great place, beautiful scenery, and the perfect place to relax. The only thing I did not like too much was the food.
Angelita V — Google review
Great location and loved the waterside bar and restaurant. Very relaxing and natural beauty. Service is poor and little English spoken. Had to move rooms because of the ongoing disco by the pool area. Renovations ongoing so lots of noise unfortunately.

Dom D — Google review
This is a beautiful hotel that’s just a little past its prime. Although there are some renovations underway, basic maintenance of the grounds appears to have been put aside in some places. We enjoyed the dinners but veg options were limited (pasta, of course). The eggplant caprese tower was delicious. And the soup and the cortado de leche dessert were both top notch! The hotel staff was the least friendly we’ve encountered. Not rude, but it definitely felt like we were bothering them by doing things like checking in. The room was clean and comfortable. The view and sounds of the river are a delight. They could probably invest in some pegs to go under the desk chairs, though. Moving it across the floor creates a horrible scraping sound, something the people in the room above us never seemed to notice despite moving the chair again and again and again.

El Taino Restaurant & Pica Pollo is a popular Dominican eatery known for its delicious and affordable food. Despite its casual atmosphere, the restaurant offers a wide variety of tasty dishes that keep customers coming back for more. Located on a bustling main street, the open-air spot can get a bit noisy with passing traffic, but the flavorful food and friendly service make it worth the visit.
Great local place! The food is delicious! It’s an open air spot right off of a Main Street, so it can get a bit loud with motorists going by. However, that didn’t bother us, the food and conversation outweighed any of the noise. We’ll definitely be back.

Waterfalls
Baiguate Waterfall is a stunning natural wonder located in Jarabacoa, offering a breathtaking sight as it cascades down 82 feet into an emerald-green pool. The journey to the waterfall is just as impressive, with scenic views along the way. Visitors can opt for a guided horseback or motorbike ride to reach the waterfall and take a refreshing swim in its cool waters. Despite the heavy water flow from recent rainfall, the crystal-clear nature of the falls remains intact.
It's a bit of a walk. They placed bars on the side to me it safer and now charge for parking. Getting down is not so bad, just watch your step. Walking up the stars is a workout! Worth it though
Marilyn V — Google review
Parking is available at the end of the road, and getting to the falls entails walking along a flat approximately 1/2 km paved walk and then you descend a set of 83 steps to the base and then do the reverse to return. It is not the gruelling hike some would have you believe. The falls themselves are beautiful, dropping 80 feet into a small basin, which is mostly ankle deep and sandy until right near the fall where it gets deeper. The water itself was pleasantly cool in the heat of the day and you are allowed go in. There are also a couple of "showers" at the left on the opposite sandbank and a rocky area facing the falls. Bring water shoes, swimming gear, towel and water. There are restrooms at the parking area but nothing st the falls.
Phil M — Google review
A easily accessible and super pretty waterfall, we were lucky to come on a day with very little people. Also it was not too rough and you were able to swim all the way under the waterfall. Great signage, well maintained walking path, do expect about 100 meters of steps down and on rainy days it can be slippery so best to have good footwear in order to have grip. Thanks to the Tourism Office of the Dominican Republic for creating such a nice way to this tourism attraction.
We S — Google review
Lovely place to visit for a paddle. The water is brown, shallow and very cold but the waterfall and surrounding mountains are beautiful.
Natalie W — Google review
Only one word; Awesome!! I’m not sure if this is a hidden gem or just happened when we arrived, but we were the only family there. I was expecting like most tourists spot to be packed. We arrived on a Wednesday around 4pm and left just before closing. There is a $50RP charge. You pay the park attendant. **Do use Caution *** the trail to the fall is very gradual for the first 3/4th. Last 1/4, it does get very steep with steps sweeping back and forth down the hill side. Total distance of the trail if I had to guess is 3/4 of mile.
Chris K — Google review
It’s rained a lot, so the water is very heavy. The river was high and get out to take a picture of the falls. The sun at 10 am is directly over the falls and makes it hard to see from the front, especially with the mist in the air. There is a second Path that goes up on top over the falls, but there is no railing on the stairs, so you need to be careful.
Brodie W — Google review
Wasn't able to swim. Water was a little murky from prior rains. Will still recommend it. Just a short walking distance to the falls
Dhannie V — Google review
This place it's cool, and the water it's really refreshing. Don't get a bad impression of the water because it looks like it's full of mud or dirty, it really looks like that because the sand is yellow, but the water that drops from the waterfall is crystal clear, this is a must go place in Jarabacoa.

You will have one of the best experience of your life in Rancho Jarabacoa. The Canyoning (using the techniques of Rappelling) is their most extreme mountain adventure, and one of the most exciting sports in the country. You'll hike the mountain and have direct contact with the nature, then jump 2 waterfalls. After that, with the help of ropes and harness, you'll descend canyons, and enjoy the rush of this experience. The staff is very professional and highly trained, they care a lot about your safety and the conservation of the environment. Totally recommended.

Salto Jimenoa Two is a stunning waterfall located in the picturesque region of Jarabacoa. The hike to reach the waterfall can be challenging, but the sight of the cascading waters makes it all worthwhile. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely walk on suspension bridges and marvel at the natural beauty surrounding them. Although access to Salto Jimenoa Two may be limited at times, its grandeur and tranquility make it a must-see destination for nature enthusiasts.
Beautiful waterfall, short walk , the bridges were fun, only 8 person at the same time on the bridges, some identified spots for swimming. Not swimming near the waterfall.
Jaxira G — Google review
Gorgeous waterfall with a small pool but unfortunately you cannot swim or paddle there. You park at the barrier for 150 pesos, then walk a little way down the road then enter on the LHS. The path is a series of small flights of stairs up and down and you cross some hanging bridges to get to the lookout point. It's an easy walk unless you have trouble with stairs.
Phil M — Google review
This is a great place to go on an easy hike, enjoy nature, or just chill at the river! If you want to enter the park, make sure you get there before 4. It’s about a 25 minute walk in and another 25 on the walk out so they don’t let visitors in. Also, right next to the entrance there’s another path (outside the park) that leads you down the river to some amazing views and small falls. I did it in flip flops, but you may want to wear more comfortable shoes, especially if it’s raining.
Bonnie S — Google review
I really liked the experience of visiting this place, even though I was filled with a lot of fear on the bridges it was an incredible experience, the breeze, the atmosphere, I really liked it a lot. Seeing how nature is reflected in this area was incredible, what I liked most of all were the different points of green area it has and its beautiful waterfall.
Patricia N — Google review
Nice big waterfall. Like 15 min walk on some bridges with plants and the lake on the side/under. You wont get wet dont worry, and the road is built well. Thing is, you’re like 100 meters away from it and cant get in the water - but might be worth the small walk. For Americans, 100 meters is like a football field. After you exit the waterfall there is a nice walk in the woods you can take and sit on the river and even go in if you like - its cold!

Balcón Restaurant, led by Michelin Chef Adin Langille, is a recent addition to Jarabacoa's culinary scene. The restaurant offers a unique menu and expertly crafted cocktails, providing an upscale dining experience. Situated atop a mountain, it offers breathtaking panoramic views that create an otherworldly atmosphere for diners. Visitors have praised Balcón for its family-friendly environment and delicious food.
I highly recommend Balcón restaurant, the entire experience was pleasant from start to finish. We made reservations for 6pm on Sunday to see the sunset and the view was spectacular. There wasn’t too many other people so we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The staff was incredible, best service I’ve received in the country. We chose the four course meal with wine pairing and I enjoyed every bit of it. The presentation was a delight, balanced flavours - fresh, high quality ingredients. The chef came out at the main course to explain everything to us, such a nice and humble guy! The prices were reasonable for the level of quality we received. We paid just under $13,000 DOP for two of us for everything including tip. When we arrived I couldn’t drive up the hill because I’m nervous driving up steep hills, but the chef came down with his car to pick us up himself. He said they are going to re-pave the whole road very soon so it would be much easier to drive up. It was an amazing experience for me, I will definitely be back on my next visit to Jarabacoa !
Katrin K — Google review
I was excited to taste the different dishes from this restaurant and was not disappointed! It def met the high expectations, the drinks are strong and amazing. I loved how our waitress explained the dishes and having the chef come out to speak to us was a special touch. It was so nice meeting another New Yorker showing their culinary skills out in the mountains of Jarabacoa! The ride up is very steep but the roads are in great condition, the view is beautiful, def worth the visit. ** The only thing I would like to mention is the bathroom. Given the type of restaurant it is and price point it holds I would expect better conditions/separate female/male bathroom.

Came here for dinner with a group. They had a nice set menu option with plenty to choose from. The food was phenomenal and the flavors were a nice change of pace from classic Dominican restaurants. The food, cocktails, atmosphere, and stylish servers all led to a fun experience for us. The chef is one of a kind! Hoping they get Michelin recognition and earn a few stars at some point. Looking forward to coming back in the future.

Ranked as the third best dinner restaurant in Jarabacoa, La Baita offers Italian and pizza cuisine. With 115 reviews on Tripadvisor, it has earned a rating of 4.5 out of 5. Located in the Dominican Republic, this restaurant is known for its delicious food and cozy atmosphere. If you're looking for a place to enjoy authentic Italian dishes and mouthwatering pizzas while visiting Jarabacoa, La Baita is definitely worth considering.
The pizza is very good and pasta was excellent. Nice atmosphere. Had the pasta surprise and it was superb. The other 3 members of my party had different pastas and all said it was great. The white wine and the beers also good.

I truly loved this place. Had a great time. Waitress was very sweet and attended all our requests. Which I also thank the kitchen for. We asked for dishes to have slight changes just because we couldn’t have specific ingredients and they accommodated the plates well. The view is crazily stunning and so relaxing in the heart of a city up in a mountain in the Dominican Republic ❤️❤️ Why 3 stars? As much as we enjoyed our time there, I had a hard time eating our main courses. We ordered appetizers that were amazingly done! But some of my Dominican friends recommended me to ask for some of them to have less salt. Since our experience with those were great I had no intentions on changing the main courses. But I felt like I had to. Great pasta! Loved the texture. Great ingredients, loved the fresh and crunchy shrimps. But we had a hard time with the seasoning of the pasta dishes that had many garlic or tomato sauce involved. I hope they change this since it is a great place and those dishes were great just needed some balance there. Less garlic and the tomato sauce more diluted maybe. The ones who ordered those heavy seasoned dishes had their stomach a little upset later that day. Repeating garlic is no fun either. But we know it was just the over seasoning the issue here. I am definitely coming back here. Will try asking for adjustments on the dishes this time. It is just a place to be while in the northern area of the country!!

The best Italian food I have ever had. The owner was most welcoming and they took the time to explain the dishes. He asked me what I liked, and then conjured up a dish. At the suggestion of my friend we went there to eat pizza. I thought it was just another pizzeria but the place resulted to be amazing. The owner and chef Marco made us feel like home. The restaurant is in a countryside home surrounded by farmland. The appetizers including a pizza were amazing as well as the entrees: "surprise pasta" was the best. The tiramisu was to die for and the final touch: handmade in house limoncello. A must when back in Jarabacoa. One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever visited

I had a delightful lunch at Ribera Country Club with a companion. The staff was friendly and accommodating. While the food may not be gourmet, it is still enjoyable, and the presentation is impressive. The restaurant is situated in the mountains, allowing guests to dine outside by the lively river, creating a unique experience. There is also a fun zip line overhead that adds to the relaxing ambiance. It's an ideal place for a peaceful meal with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
If you are in Jarabacoa, this is a great place to go. Awesome atmosphere, the best food in town, pool, jacuzzi, water rapids, zip lines. A little pricey, but the food/drink prices will cover most of the amenities. I'll definitely recommend it.

Disappointed at Ribera Country Club – Beautiful Place, Terrible Service We visited Ribera Country Club after hearing it was one of the top restaurants in Jarabacoa. The location is stunning—right next to a river, with beautiful views and a nicely designed restaurant space. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. From the moment we arrived, the service was a disaster. No one greeted us at the entrance. We stood there awkwardly before deciding to seat ourselves since no one offered any help or direction. After sitting, we waited 30 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. Several waiters were walking around, but they seemed more concerned with doing anything but serving the few guests in the restaurant. We had to wave one down just to ask for drinks. After they brought them, they disappeared again. No follow-up. No one asked if we were ready to order or had any questions. Another 20 minutes went by before we could request appetizers. While eating our appetizer, we saw a cockroach crawling around our table. That was the final straw. We left immediately and went to Café Colao nearby. The experience there was night and day—great food, friendly staff, lively atmosphere, and actual customer service. Ribera Country Club has a lot of potential because of the location, but the service we received was unacceptable. We won’t be coming back.

(Translated by Google) A beautiful place. The staff needs to improve their service. The guys showing the plants are excellent, but the administrative staff seems to be very poor in their handling and manner of speaking. I hope they can improve because the place is beautiful. (Original) Un lugar hermoso. El personal tiene que mejorar la forma en la que da el servicio. Los chicos que muestran las plantas, excelentes, pero el personal al parecer administrativo muy mal manejo y forma de expresarse. Espero puedan mejorar porque el lugar es hermoso

Jarabacoa Golf Club

Golf club
Nestled in the Antilles, Jarabacoa Golf Club offers a unique golfing experience amidst stunning scenery and refreshing mountain breezes. This 9-hole course with 18 tee boxes provides an interesting challenge as players navigate through the picturesque landscape. While ongoing construction may slightly disrupt play, the well-maintained grounds and warm hospitality from local staff enhance the overall experience.
I love this place! Everyone is amazing @ Jarabacoa Golf Club. If you are in the area don’t miss the opportunity to golf even if you’re want to try for the first time. It’s a nice 9-holes course with outstanding service. Get one of the caddies, they know the way around better than anyone.

Very interesting 9 holes, but 18 tee boxes Golf Course. You play the first 9 holes and as you play "the back 9", it will be to the same greens, but from different tees marked 10 through 18. I enjoyed this round and will only give 4 stars because they are currently building cart paths and it was a bit hectic at times due to construction debris around some places. I want to come back and play it again once they're done with the construction. Overall the place was well kept.

Expat living in Jarabacoa I play here twice a week. People are great the beer is ice cold and the course is tough. Very technical but also 3-4 nice long holes. Hole 9 should be a par 7 if you ask me.
Jeremy D — Google review
Small golf course, but full of difficult holes. Very challenging golf course, but in a great area of the mountains. Ask for Taso, he is very helpful in everything you need.

Super nice ambiance in this natural place. As beginners, we took a lesson with Rafa. He really took his time, explained well (even though we speak ample Spanish!) and was extremely patient. Thank you!!
