State park
Parque Central Hermanos Escobar is a delightful recreational area that boasts a man-made lake with boats, as well as pools, sports amenities, and expansive green spaces. Visitors have the opportunity to update their business profiles and enhance them with various media elements while responding to reviews. The park offers a fantastic experience of interacting with diverse animals such as giraffes, ostriches, ducks, peacocks, and turtles.
It's a great Park, I enjoyed feeding the giraffe, the ostrich, other animals they got there, the ducks, peacocks a few turtles,. The giraffe has now died and is buried inside the park Right where it spent his life... It's a great place for exercising, you could do some running walking,. Always people there exercising, groups of ladies 10 to 15. Early in the morning before it's too hot... Overall it's just a great Park ..
Jr. K — Google review
Great park, part of a water sanitation system, creates a good artificial ecosystem. Unfortunately the city and veterinarians think they own the ducks. Still a great place, love to see the ducks and birds.
Indigo K — Google review
It was my first time going to the park. It was a fun experience! I enjoyed seeing the ducks, geese, and peacocks.

Nice park, enjoyed the time we spent there. Lots of food options available when we were there on a Saturday afternoon. I would highly recommend this place if your looking for something to do that's not expensive and gets you out in the fresh air. Lots of people and families enjoying themselves.
Jorge T — Google review
Spent a few hours here and loved every minute. They had the giraffe and ostrich (very fun). There were lots of ducks and turtles all over the lake shore. They also had a nice walking path and play ground. There were not many people because it was a Monday but you could tell it’s set up for great holidays and events

We visited on a weekday around 4:30pm. No admission fee. There are stands set up with souvenirs, food, and snacks. Harley any people there. La Arrodadora had just closed as we got there. I don't recommend you visit late afternoon on a weekday

Visitors can easily spend 3-4 hours exploring the various activities and exhibits. The museum is well-maintained, clean, and organized, making it an enjoyable experience for all.
This was the best children's museum we have ever been too. It is huge and there is so much to do and explore. My family and I loved all of it and the staff was so friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to share information about their area.
Kelsee K — Google review
Great place to kill some time with the kids. Lots of interaction with different areas for the world around us!! They even had Prairie Dogs and an underground observation sphere to see them close from! Been to lots of others in US and this is a great spot, just needs some upkeep for a few exhibits like solar car, water station and others. The snack / cafe area was nice to for nachos, chips coffee and drinks.
Erik G — Google review
This is a family friendly fun learning museum full of learning activities for children. Very clean and organized. The staff is amazingly helpful and very interactive with children. My favorite part by far was the science experiments.
Maria L — Google review
This is a great location for the whole family. You can easily spend 3-4 hours here and it will fly by with the kids. I have come to this place with the family for a few years now and I am impressed how well maintained it has remained. It is clean and organized. I like the party/event location that they have built. We were disappointed that the gift shop was smaller though with no good options. WiFi is spotty but you should be having fun anyways.
Surge — Google review
I don't know whats going on with the parking but it was awful. The parking closest was closed off and it doesn't look like they are doing anything like construction but I'm sure there's a reason. Aside from that my kids loved it and the dinosaurs outside are a great addition. This is our second time here and it was better than the first. Next time we want to stay for the 3d documentary.
Maci S — Google review
It was pretty good and fun the staff members were helpful and friendly, it is mainly for going with children they have a lot of fun stuff and games, as well as recreational activities.
Abraham A — Google review
Great place for kids and families. I came here on a visit to Juarez. I paid about $31 USD for 3 adults and 1 child. I paid with a US Visa card and it worked no problem. The museum is very clean, modern, and up to date. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable about science. I mainly spoke Spanish but some do seem to speak English. You will still enjoy even if you don’t speak Spanish, most of the signage is in both languages. Note: you can’t bring backpacks inside, but you can leave then at the paqueteria up front. The food court is good, lots of choices. It’s 3 different restaurants: a candy/snacks shop, a cafè, and a deli/grill. They take credit cards there as well. You could easily stay several hours here, we stayed about 2 hours. My 5 year old had a lot of fun and enjoyed herself.
J.C. T — Google review
Nice spot to visit! So much to do. Including making your own news special. Going through this museum could take all day if you try it all. We went on a week day so there was no waiting on anything. So informative and they make it all fun! Didn't try the food court but I did see that there was a Barrigas in there. Yay!

The Museum of Revolution in the Borderland is housed in a 19th-century customs building and offers an insightful journey into the history of Juarez and the Mexican Revolution. The museum showcases numerous photographs, audiovisual materials, and artifacts that depict the tumultuous period between 1910 and 1920. Visitors can learn about key figures such as Madero, Pancho Villa, and Zapata, as well as their roles in the revolution against Porfirio Diaz.
Nice place just got to be careful of bad people. Stuff is cheaper in Mexico and the food is good.
Joe S — Google review
This museum, which once served as the customs building is a great venue to visit. The building itself, which looks very similar now to the pictures from esrly 1900's has withstood the testimate of time. The museum is well designed taking the visitors from to room around the buildings perimeter. The majority of the items for view have both Español and English descriptions. Nearby parking seems adequate, and it's free to enter. Do not bring any drinks inside as you cannot take them past the front reception area. No flash when using cameras! Overall, really liked this museum and will definitely come back.

If you're visiting Ciudad Juárez in México, you must visit this museum full of beautiful art and the city's history.
Laura C — Google review
Free museum located on grounds of old Customs building which played a major role in Porfirio Diaz/William H. Taft meeting & Pancho Villa/Pascual Orozco victory in Battle of Ciudad Juarez. Impressive room-sized diorama of Juarez & El Paso. Exhibits focused on Mexican Revolution 1910-1915. Main highlight is mural of Constitutionalist victory march after Villa/Orozco triumph in 1911. This museum alone is worth crossing from El Paso.
Connor S — Google review
Great place to come learn the history of the border between El Paso USA and Juárez México. So much to see and learn. Awesome artifacts. Educational videos in the various rooms and lectures available every few hours. Entrance is free, they accept donations if you are so inclined. They entrance to the museum is around the back, they have a metal detector at the entrance. Nice clean bathrooms.

Not good vibes. We return back to the hotel. We were scare of leaving the car in parking lot uncomfortable because homeless or people in the streets not looking normal.
Janet B — Google review
A complete collection of Pancho Villa's revolution journey. The period 1913–1914 was the time of Villa's greatest international fame and military and political success. Villa's string of victories since the beginning of the Mexican Revolution was instrumental in bringing the downfall of Porfirio Díaz, the victory of Francisco Madero, and the ouster of Victoriano Huerta. He remains a heroic figure for many Mexicans. He's more than just a politician, but a business owner, also a guy who knows how to "boardcast" himself like nowadays internet sensations.

Amazing spot in the heart of Juarez. The freshest tortillas you’ll ever have. All tortillas were made and served on the spot. Great atmosphere and service.

Really enjoyed our meal here. Tender, flavorful, juicy steaks. Exceptionally fantastic beans. Corn tortillas made fresh right before your eyes. And crispy chicharrones and salsa served in place of the usual chips and salsa. Highly, highly recommended.
Daniel S — Google review
Food is pretty good but the service was better. Went with a friend and the start you off with homemade tortilla chips and pork rinds and fresh hand made tortillas. They continue with boiled pinto beans that are tasty and we had a queso fundido (melted cheese) with green chili. My friend had tacos and I had a ribeye steak both served with a baked potato. The lemonade was freaking good and all in all, it was about $52. Freaking A… I will be back

A hidden gem. Hard to find , and in a rather shady area of town. The food and service are great. Simple and nothing fancy. The corn tortillas are Handmade and delivered to your table by the person making them .Tacos are very good. The decor is "Bull Fighter" theme. Great place to check out.

Chicken wings restaurant
Family restaurant
Wing Daddy's Misiones offers a vibrant dining experience that many patrons enjoy, especially for its lively atmosphere and friendly service. While some diners have noted that the wings can be overly sauced, potentially masking the freshness of the chicken, others rave about the generous portions and flavorful dishes. The restaurant is particularly popular for its micheladas and margaritas, which are often highlighted as favorites among guests.
It's Tuesday but still a lot of people. The food was great and the drink too!
Hedy W — Google review
Absolutely amazing. Great portions and everything was tasty. I removed a star because while the service was good it took a long time to get service. They should have more waitresses on a Saturday night or their sections should be closer together. Micheladas were amazing.
Lily G — Google review
Not the best wings or fries. Actually, the wings had so much sauce that it blocked the taste of the old, almost spoiled chicken taste. I think the wings were old. I've had worse. But the service made up for the less than mediocre food. Always better service in Juarez than El Paso.
Joe D — Google review
Food and beer was good, so sad the service sucked, and the server had the outdacity to tip her self 160 pesos, when the service was so poorly, was celebrating our anniversary 😢 💔

My wife and I ordered wings and nachos. The wings were super salty. I like salt, but they were so salty we couldn’t eat them even though we were hungry. The nachos were the worst nachos we ever had. They tasted artificial. I’ve never complained about food before but this place was a waste of time and money. I was really surprised to see other people commenting the food was good.

The ambiance is truly exceptional, offering a warm, relaxed, and luxurious atmosphere. We began our meal with the ribeye chicharrón, which was expertly prepared and full of flavor. We went to this place to celebrate Mother’s Day with my wife and kids. From the moment we walked in, we could tell it was a very fancy place. It was clean, and the decorations were unique. The waitstaff was attentive from the start. As soon as we finished a drink or dish, someone would promptly clear the table. Multiple servers were checking on our table and making sure everything was perfect—definitely a 5-star service. We ordered the Carnivore platter for four people, and let me tell you, we loved it. The meat was juicy, delicious, and so tender it felt like it melted in your mouth. We also had mac and cheese and French fries, which were both amazing. For dessert, we tried the chocolate and pistachio options, and they were both excellent. It’s a bit pricey, but the experience was truly unique—perfect for special occasions. We’re already planning to go back.

The food and customer service is outstanding, the atmosphere varies according to taste, and you can choose to be seated in an area for large groups or an area for more personal eating.
Mr. M — Google review
I had reservations here with my mom for New Year’s Eve. The atmosphere was great, they had adequate music, and the service was phenomenal. The food was delicious! Best Caesar salad I’ve ever had, and the steak was cooked and seasoned beautifully! The only reason I’m giving the food four stars instead of five was because the fish was not great, and neither my mom nor I ate it. Would definitely go back again.
Estefania J — Google review
Food quality is just all right for the price. I ordered a medium ribeye steak, it was overcooked. The steak was very dry and taste bad, I didn’t even finished it. The seafood they offered are really good tho. Service is great, except for the steak, I enjoyed dine in here.
Tiktiktok G — Google review
Food was awesome, the service throughout was pretty good too. There was only two things that really threw me off. The first was the wine recommendation, we explained what we like, and they brought out something that was bitter, not a wine, and did not add to the overall experience. So net negative there. The second issue i had was that we were with a pretty big party, over ten people in total. Most of those people, I had just met that day. I had made it a point to ask the waiter from the start to ensure we were put on our own ticket. Why, because we order a lot, I don't want our new acquaintances to have to deal with our tab. They brought out everything in one tab and the waiter offered to just manually provide a price for me. We did that instead. Overall, a weird experience at the end but really good food, maybe just have to go with a group you're okay paying all in yourself. Tbf the one tab, seems to be common practice in MX
Oscar S — Google review
All the dishes are tested great, beef/chicken/fish, Evan the side dish! The waiters are so nice and take care of us. But a little pity for the communications, mostly can't speak English. I'll recommend you come to try this restaurant, it's worthy!

A museum located at the heart of the Chamizal park, have a lot of replica of Mexican ancient (I mean D.C.) sculptures, like their design of route and lighting, very intuitive and educational. Meanwhile, as the museum right by the border, of course it exhibits a little about the history between México and America, especially focusing on the era of JF Kennedy.

Nice museum, very clean, not very large yet not too small. You do not have to spend the whole day inside to see it all. It does a great job of giving you some of the local history as well as some other things, had an art exhibit going on the day I was there. Behind (around) the museum is a huge park, it has many recreations to see, copies built to scale of archeological finds across Mexico. There is even a replica of the Mayan Calendar (was bigger than I thought). Did I mention it is free? Because it is. Highly worth a visit if you are in the area.

Well, the location and architecture are great. But the organization is the worst, at least for the event on May 7 2017. The tickets were for 7pm, but the doors were open till 8pm. And because of all the people that was already waiting for, the entrance was slow. It could be better. And the worst, they don't have any kind of drinks, and they don't allow you to bring your own. What kind of location has no drinks??
Alex M — Google review
Great place for exhibitions and concerts. Although the building needs some maintenance, the events held in are top quality and with great ambience. The acoustic is good and the seats are comfortable, plenty of place.
Oscar G — Google review
Good space to enjoy a play. The AC needs to be more efficient.
Alvaro V — Google review
I think its a wonderful place to perform or see a performance. My only suggestion to anyone who is not familiar with the structure of the building to try to look for picture or take a look a the sitting rows. It can be a little hard to decide where to buy you tickets online. Also be a little early for the performances so you walk around and explore and take care of your nature calls.

This expansive venue is beautifully adorned with lanterns and features stunning floral displays, creating an inviting atmosphere right from the moment you arrive. The restaurant not only serves up delicious traditional Mexican cuisine but also offers exciting entertainment options like horse riding shows that add a unique flair to your meal.
We enjoyed the food and the wonderful show. It's one of the best performances we have seen... the Venado dance was our favorite. The atmosphere was great and the service was good.

This food is good. The show is amazing. The service was outstanding! We made a reservation for 6pm. They mentioned over the phone that it's best to show up at 5:30pm. We were the first ones there lol a little before 6pm they sat us at our table. We got to order drinks and food. While you wait for the show you get to see the performers practice. Show is from 7:30-9pm so it's a bit of a wait from 5:30 to 7:30 but they keep you entertained with practice. Good entrainment for all the family. Worth it.

Fun experience to take your family if you are new to Mexico. Menu is also in English so it is easy to understand for those who don’t speak Spanish. The food is traditional Mexican cuisine and the restaurant makes you feel like you teleported into a small town. An amazing show is put on to showcase a bit of the Mexican culture/dances it is VERY moving and beautiful. You MUST go, everyone will enjoy at any age!

What a great place to visit. Dinner food and entertainment were fantastic. The show they put on is a must see. I certainly recommend this place.

The food here is great with reasonable price The mole is awesome The shrimp plate is great as well The Mexican plate you can taste different traditional Mexican food in one time. Also, the show here is great as well You can see traditional Mexican dancing, horse showing, and different kinds of performance here. It’s a good place to represent Mexican culture!!

Heard about it for quite some time, but never got the chance to visit this place. We came here for lunch, surprisingly found out that they served buffet during noon time. Since it's all you can eat, so we jointly took little portion of everything, basically all the stew were good, and manudo was ok. Strongly recommend their Taco, they cooked it right in front of you when you order it. Many people come here during the weekend for their show, we were accidentally seated at the first row in front of the stage, could totally sensed the atmosphere of it even though there was no one put on the show.
Bill L — Google review
My first time going here was a surprise and it was it a great one!! First of all this place is reservation only because it gets packed! On the weekends It’s basically dinner and a show so be prepared to commit about 4 hours to dinner. The decor was amazing the lights about were plentiful but set the mood the right by not being super bright. The food was top tier and I recommend you get the ribeye. The meat is again top tier grade. I won’t ruin the show part but after you eat, the show starts. Afterwards you just pay your tab and go. This place was awesome.

Mexican restaurant
The Mexican restaurant Los Pavos Restaurante Cd. Juárez offers excellent food and service. Customers have praised the delicious meals, including green chilaquiles with a flavorful yet not overly spicy green sauce, perfectly cooked eggs, and tender chicken. The prices are affordable, with two people spending around $15 including drinks. The staff is friendly, fast, and accommodating. Many patrons have been dining at Los Pavos for over 40 years, enjoying consistently great food and service.
We recently visited Juarez to see my parents, and they took us to this restaurant that we used to go to when I was a little girl. This place has been around for as long as I can remember, a true staple in Juarez. This time, I ordered the chiles en nogada, and they were absolutely delicious!

Food and service was great I haven't been here for a long while.. But was happily surprised with the breakfast. Had a plate of green chilaquiles.. The green sauce was delicious, without being extra hot... The eggs were cooked EXACTLY as I asked, and the chicken was savory and tender.. For two people was about 15 with drinks.. Not bad at all

This is a traditional restaurant here in Juarez. It is known for it's home cooked meals and their specialty which is turkey tortas and comida corrida...still excellent choice for breakfast and lunch...

Food is just average. The service is great, friendly and fast. We had read reviews on this place and chose to visit based on proximity to our hotel. A descent meal at an affordable price
Gamaliel M — Google review
Some of the food plates are ok, some others don't, like the shredded chicken in mole, amount of food is alright, but the mole itself leaves bad comments behind. Mole was of any other color you might think about, redish, but not with the brownish color one is costumed to see in it. Caldo de res might be ok at lunch time, since I noticed some clients asked for it. Prices are not cheap as one might think they'll be according to the decoration and atmosphere, so I just give it 3 stars.

Angus Rojo is a must-visit dining destination in Ciudad Juarez, perfect for any special occasion or casual outing. This steakhouse stands out with its locally sourced beef and an impressive selection of wines that complement the menu beautifully. Guests rave about the expertly cooked steaks, particularly recommending medium rare for aged cuts and medium well for others. The culinary experience extends beyond just meat; Angus Rojo also offers delightful chicken and seafood dishes infused with unique southern Mexican flavors from Oaxaca.
Excellent service . The waitress and the manager Oscar took care of our table ensuring we were satisfied. The atmosphere is very nice. We are coming back for sure . Stake so, so but salmon was amazing ! Don’t forget the dessert. ❤️

We stopped to get some coffee and breakfast. The buffet looked good. They brought the coffee, and we stood up to serve ourselves. We also ordered a couple of eggs. The initial server was quick, but after the first contact, it was hard to get a second coffee refill. In fact, they forgot our refills . Maybe it was because the place was packed, and they seemed understaffed, but who knows? The food was good, and the place is beautiful, with some of the most comfortable chairs.

The salmon tostadas and Tuetano was great! The staff explained every detail of what I was ordering to make sure I was going to be satisfied.

Great place for a celebration, an anniversary or work gathering. I personally recommend medium rare cooked for an aged steaks. And medium well for all the other steak cuts. Angus Rojo has also a great wines selection. Even other foods like chicken or sea food are really great. They have a special seasonings and herbs touch on sauces from southern part of Mexico (Oaxaca). Also enjoy desserts, were quite a good surprise of flavour and elaboration of this ending dish. Enjoy! Buen provecho!

Fantastic service and probably the best steakhouse in the city. Great variety of food options, and the beef is locally sourced. As someone who lives in Juárez, I highly recommend Angus Rojo!

Plaza Las Misiones is a large mall in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, offering a mix of well-known chain stores and local brands. The food court provides a variety of dining options, from fast food to more upscale restaurants like Applebee's and a sushi place. The mall also features department stores such as Liverpool, offering both casual and formal attire. Visitors can enjoy various amenities including a cinema, grocery store, bakery, spa services, arcade games, and more.
Large variety of store here. Good place to take kids. Very well kept, good lighting, plenty of parking.

It is big, has a lot of stores for clothes, shoes, books, sun glasses, food, drinks, movies, banks... The parking lot has a lot of free spaces. If you can include a supermarket like Walmart or a smaller one, it would be great and open at 9am. This moll is so nice.

Worst Mexican restaurant!!! I went two consecutive days and asked for an item menu. They didn't have it. The cashier lady is so rude. All the time in her cellphone, it appears they don't care about customer, food is terrible, no flavor....
Andres R — Google review
While visiting Juarez in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico- we went to the “it” mall (also known as a “plaza”) of Ciudad Juárez. It reminded me very much of the HIP mall in Chicago, and if you have been there then you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. But it was maybe 3 times Chicago's HIP mall. It was definitely huge but with Mexican/local department stores that are not found in the U.S. and from what we saw and were told multiple times while shopping there, was that even though there’s department stores such as SEARS and H&M there, they are NOT good quality-worth your money. And the clothing was definitely much more expensive, even in pesos! There is plenty of parking ! Just be very aware and careful around there since the U.S. Embassy is only about 3 mins walking distance from there and there’s a risk of scammers etc. The service varied throughout the plaza. But overall, good experience for a mall outside of the U.S.
Pelayo L — Google review
Good mall to get away from the hot sun. The food court is GREAT! McDonald's, Wendy's, Subway, TACOS, 2 Chinese places (so good), hot dogs...! I wish the place was more air conditioned — it still feels warm while walking around. Liverpool has more fancier clothes if you need a dress shirt or a nice outfit. There's also Applebee's, a sushi place and a steakhouse that are more expensive on one side of the mall. If you have kids, Peter Piper Pizza looks a lot like Chuck-E-Cheese with pizza and video games (right by the cinemas). There's an incredible candy stand right as you walk towards the cinema — everything is SO good! The cinemas (with English subs) are great. Not the type of mall you spend hours in (unless you're eating and watching a film), but it's an interesting and fun place to go.
Rachel O — Google review
Very nice mall. Full of many stores with lots to see, do and buy. Very clean, good security, all staff in any store I dealt with was very friendly. Great prices on goods too. Great food court and a nice cinema. Good parking. It's also all indoors, so nice and cool in the summer, warm in the winter. Worth a visit.

The Cathedral of Ciudad Juarez, also known as Lady of Guadalupe Mission, is a historic site established in 1681 by Fray Garcia de San Francisco. It is part of the El Paso Mission Trail and is considered the first mission in the area. The cathedral features beautiful wood beams and woodwork throughout its well-preserved structure. Despite its traditional exterior, the interior presents a nontraditional appearance.
Wonderful historical site, and a peaceful one as well. The wood there is from the 16th hundreds! My brother got married there and it was a wonderful celebration of their love in the foundations of the city.

Beautiful church in the middle of downtown Juarez. One side of the church is traditional and humble and the main part of the church is modern inside. Very beautiful exterior.. It is surrounded by shops and vendors. Lots of police around so its safe just be aware of your surroundings.

The Cathedral is relatively new and so far, more modern styled. Worth to see as one of the very less tourists spots in CDJ. I personally more liked the smaller old Chappell left from the Cathedral.

It looks scary with all the gates but it nice, well keep, but if you're looking for flowers to leave at the altar you might need to look for those before going there, i couldn't find anyone selling flowers, i was told there weren't any flower shops around, they also have a little store with everything you might need for your first communion and all the other religious events, it's to the left of the main entrance, kinda hard to see because of all the gates, everyone was nice and helpful.

Cool place to stop. Its also known as Our Lady Guadalupe Cathederal and is connected directly to the Franciscan Mission that was built in the 1700s. The plaza has lots of life with a flee market and tons of street performers. I thought the posters with old photos of the misdion were cool as well. They even have live music and a clown show there for entertainment. I don't know if its akways like that or if it was just because it was a weekend or Cinco De Mayo when we went.

Bridge
Paso del Norte International Bridge is one of the four international ports of entry connecting Ciudad Juarez with El Paso, Texas. It offers a unique opportunity to experience authentic Mexican culture along the border. While there may be some waiting time to cross, it is considered the best choice compared to other bridges. The area around the bridge is filled with street vendors and provides a glimpse into local life on both sides of the border.
The bridge coming out of Juárez charges a tariff tax of $2.20 . But it’s fast on a Tuesday afternoon .

By 2025 you must pay .40 us cents to cross the border northbound amd southbound, El Paso is a calm city, I have good memories there, not long lanes to cross the border but if you can get your SENTRI card to cross the border. Do it.

The Plaza Theatre, originally constructed in the 1930s and restored to its former glory in 2006, is a historic gem located in downtown El Paso. This National Historic Building of Significance offers free tours every Tuesday, allowing visitors to admire its Spanish Colonial Revival architecture, mosaic-tiled floors, antique furniture, and a stunning design that creates the illusion of an outdoor courtyard under a starry painted ceiling.
First time here. Beautiful building with an erie vibe. Beetlejuice was a perfect match for the building. I was nearly late back to my seat from intermission. Bartenders were mixing drinks and opening wine, which means long waits. I wish they had a couple of express lines for just water or cokes. I had to buy a handful for my party. My suggestion is to skip the drinks and hydrate before the show and if your a big guy like me, get a walkway or front seat. My poor knees had to angle sideways. Very tight.
Ricky Q — Google review
A beautiful theater, for sure! Sitting is tight and a lot of stair climbing. Seniors will struggle here. Especially if your seats are on the balcony or heading to the restrooms. No elevator that I saw. Cost of drinks, astronomical! A picture I included, has the cost. For the ladies . Make sure you take a small clear bag. Otherwise, you can't take your purse in. The Temptations did not fail.

I was originally upset with my experience of the Blue October concert here but it was beautifully turned around by amazing staff. My mom and I didnt pick our seating (the tickets were a gift) and they were very unfortunate placing for me as I can not stand long due to a medical condition and everyone in attendance wanted to stand...I have 0 view of the stage from my seat and decided to start leaving as I was upset but a staff member was kind enough to find us seats on the balcony that greatly improved my experience! The stairs are hard for me but were worth it, I believe the staff member was a manager and I didn't catch his name but I say THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR KINDNESS! I wish the place was more handicap friendly but regardless I appreciate the help and hope to come here for future events as I do enjoy plays/musicals as well!

One of the best-preserved silent film theaters in the world. The history, design, craftsmanship, and overall restoration were amazing to learn about. We had a guided tour led by the El Paso Community Foundation and got to see every part of this amazing gem. We were even treated to an amazing pipe organ performance by two gentlemen who were excellent musicians. If you ever have a chance to watch a film here or attend an event, don't miss the opportunity.

What to expect: parking lot $15 in a multi layer lot. Bags will be searched and have to be in a see through material so will save you the time from returning them to your car. Inside was surprising antique look and huge audience area. Bathrooms can be a line during recess but the kind staff are there to guide you to another hidden bathroom by the elevator. Love it and I am glad I went.

The plaza was refurbished in 2017, and they did a great job. It's beautifully done. The men's bathroom space could be improved a little. I went to see the 50th anniversary of Kansas. It was a beautiful place what we could see from the outside, but unfortunately, we drove all the way there To get our stamp in our national parks pass book and it was on Sunday! A lot of history I would’ve really enjoyed learning more about it, but you’re in the meantime I looked up a bunch and we were able to at least walk around the grounds. I WOULD RECOMMEND

Interesting and well-kept historical memorial a stone’s throw from the border and bridge to Mexico. The visitors’ center isn’t open every day so I recommend checking the hours before you go. Plenty of parking, nicely-groomed grounds, and a paved walking path with some sitting areas and shade trees.

Went here because shockingly it was raining the morning of April 1. No April fools. Most city museums are closed on Mondays so this was the only thing we found. We were surprised at how much we liked it. Very interesting history and something you never think about: what happens to an international border when a river changes course? They presented the information in such a good way that it kept the attention of my 10 and 8 year old boys. Additionally, they actually have great Tshirts in the gift shop that are very comfy if you’re like me and buy shirts at every NPS site. 😀

Well maintained park with views of the border wall and border crossings into Mexico. The Visitors Center has an informative exhibit and friendly park rangers! Great visit for people new to the area or to bring El Paso visitors.
Holly K — Google review
Really wonderful little museum to complement this historic urban park. I was surprised to see such great exhibits. The ranger working, Danielle, greeted me and introduced me to the exhibits. She was incredibly friendly, helpful, and approachable. I even bought some souvenirs at the gift shop. The park itself is not very large, so it's easy to walk around and see the second international boundary marker (the one closer to the road and not on front of the museum). There were not many people here which made for a peaceful evening, but there were quite a lot of high school kids walking through when I arrived at rush hour.

Large beautiful park and monument, commemorating the peaceful resolution of the “chamizal problem”, a decades long border dispute between Mexico and the US. As part of the resolution land was set aside to memorialize the peaceful resolution and friendship between the countries. There is a park with walking trails and also a visitors center/cultural center. Inside is a small but extremely interesting museum about the conflict and the resolution. There is also an art gallery and theater for cultural performances. The park is staffed by some of the friendliest and most knowledgeable and proud park rangers I have ever encountered. As a national monument it is park of the national park service so there is a passport stamp station inside. The outside is also a great place to walk around and the grounds open early for recreation. The park and buildings are impeccably maintained. Highly recommend this monument if you are in El Paso! You will learn a lot and enjoy yourself immensely.

Sirloin tacos are amazing, comes with fresh handmade tortillas. Wide variety of salsas to choose from. I ordered the pack with the baked potato which was great. I asked for sour cream and cheese (extra cost). Definitely recommend this place.

This place is located inside Las Misiones Plaza in the food court area in Ciudad Juárez, México 🇲🇽. It was HIGHLY recommended by people who live in that area. They hyped it up so much we expected the experience to be amazing. And it absolutely was NOT. First off, the service was HORRIBLE. The lady there had zero emotions and didn’t even bother to greet the customers. Secondly, when asked what would she recommend is something good to try off the menu (because assuming she works there, might know what sells the most?) she had this stunned look on her face as if we had just asked her the most disgusting question in the world. Why work in that environment when customer (besides the food quality) should be second to best, in my most humble opinion. The carne asada stuffed baked potato 🥔 we ordered (shown in picture), was decent. Very buttery and smooth. But the carne asada itself was very bland, almost tasted as if it was boiled and not grilled/asada. The tacos were definitely a big NO 👎 for us. The salsas were flavorless and watery(we were pouring “salsa” flavored water onto our tacos 😫). Point is, we will not be returning to that taco joint. And we do NOT recommend unless they upgrade their cooks and customer service team members.

Came here yesterday and will be the last time. Tacos were tasteless. Has to be drowned in sauce to be able to get it down. I'm puerto rican and I make better tacos. Also it's expensive for what you get. Honestly was not worth it. And made my husband and I sick. So yeah never again.
Iliana A — Google review
This place was my and my husband’s favorite, they have tasty tacos and Nachos, I like the chicken and shrimp tacos and my husband favorite was the sirloin steak the best part they come on homemade tortillas, very good salsas, it was our favorite spot to eat when visited the city, besides it was just across our hotel.
Rosario R — Google review
First time here in ciudad juarez, we been trying different restaurants until we found taco tote, we spend 13 days in this city and 12 of them we eat here. The food was very good and same consistency. And it's a few steps from the hotel
Jesus M — Google review
Food is good but customer service is terrible! I ordered 2 quesadillas and my husband ordered a taco, one of my quesadillas didn’t have cheese so i went and tried to get them to put cheese on it. The manager and employees pretty much stated I was lying and said the taco my husband ate was the one with the cheese on it and that the tags were just on there incorrectly! All they had to do from the beginning was add the cheese to my quesadillas instead of giving me the run around and making it such a horrible experience! Again the food is good but the customer service is beyond terrible!! Something I’m not use to bc the customer should always or almost always be right especially if the proof is there! Shame!
Luis R — Google review
Good food, meat is tasty and tortillas made at the moment. However the time waiting for the order could be improved. Considering that is a place for tacos it is expensive.

After trying all the tacos on this shopping center I can tell you these are the best around. You can definitively taste the quality of the meat and salsas. Great flavor.

Known for their fresh tortillas, this cozy joint offers an array of delicious options, from the classic deshebrada burrito to the iconic Juarense chili relleno burrito with beans. Nice place to eat. Careful with your meal, make sure your plate is served the way the menu describes it. Good luck getting water, waiters ignore water requests, they want to sell you alcoholic beverages or soft drinks. For a real dinning experience skip La Bortega and head for La Diana restaurant.

Day 4

Off the beaten path
For day 4, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like San Jorge Zoo. Not quite as popular as Ciudad Juárez, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 8 hours.

Zoo
Zoos & Aquariums
San Jorge recreational Zoo is a fantastic destination for families seeking enjoyment and relaxation. It offers jungle cats and camels housed in wooded enclosures, as well as a pool featuring water slides and nearby BBQ stations. The zoo itself is quite impressive, with various animals to observe. However, San Jorge could enhance its reputation by adding more pools that offer different activities like twisters or waves, along with toboggan rides.
Fun experience for the kids, zoo and water park are separate, it's possible to buy tickets for both to stay all day.
Ramon G — Google review
Look, it's small. It could DEFINITELY use a cleaning. The bathrooms were clean though. It's a half day activity. Getting into the zoo was odd. Off road, dirt, if it weren't for the faded torn signs and google maps we would not have found it. They do have babies so that's cool. We won't be going back and we'll definitely never go for the water park park when it opens up. It was okay.
Cricket — Google review
Small little zoo, but surprisingly there is a good variety of animals. This place has a pool/water area next to it, but it is an added fee. I only went to the zoo. Ok place if you want to pass a little time.
Jocelyn G — Google review
If you're visiting Juarez from the U.S., DO NOT go here!! We wanted to visit because we like animals, but it's in a horrible location, in the middle of a dirty sketchy residential area....we actually thought our Uber driver was lost after he started taking us down a bunch of dirt roads piled up with trash and stray animals running around! We finally pulled up, and the place looked old and run down, we weren't even sure it was open, even though it was 2pm on a Sunday afternoon, the (unpaved dirt) parking lot was totally empty! We decided to cut our losses and go back to our hotel, waste of 200 pesos on an Uber! 😡
Amber J — Google review
Difficult to get good pictures of some animals due to the fencing construction. Good value for time and money.

No water filtration in the lazy river so when you take off your swim trunks you have dirt in all your cracks looks like the place hasn't been renovated in yrs I'm in favor of a price increase if it means proper maintenance would be done and proper water filtration I will give 5 stars how ever to the staff and how clean and dry the bathrooms were.

Ok place but transportation to and from required a 4×4, however they do provide free of charge area for BBQ WITH YOUR OWN PERSONAL CHARCOAL GRILL AND ICE BOX, they have a play ground area for kids and ample seats and chairs. Also you'll find a mini-mart for your " convenience ", since you might have forgotten something that you needed at home. Alcohol prices vary from (Mexican currency)20 pesos to 30 pesos but you'll find almost anything you need at the store there, over all, cozy place.

The Plaza de la Mexicanidad features a prominent artwork by the acclaimed sculptor Sebastián, which symbolizes Mexican culture. This art piece, known as the Massive red X, is situated on the border of El Paso TX and Ciudad Juarez. The surrounding area could benefit from additional embellishments to enhance its visual appeal. The monument holds significant historical meaning as it represents Mexico's past and future, incorporating elements from Spain and hinting at unfinished potential.
Our Uber driver took us here. He said it was an open park & visitors can walk around. We did & did notice the Mexican police watching us, which made us feel safe. Though there were no events going on, it was a fun building to see.
Terry T — Google review
It’s nice to walk around and when there are events they really know how to make it seem huge, the art piece “X” is a huge red X that stands by the border of El Paso TX and our beloved Cuidad Juárez, they need to add some more character to the surrounding area so it won’t look so plain…
Jesus M — Google review
They had a fun carnival. I've yet to experience much of it during the day. Fun fact: I've been told on a tour the X represents the the cross roads of Mexico's past including Spain (the finished line) and it's future (the unfinished line).

Mexican restaurant
Nestled in a cozy and unpretentious setting, Taqueria La Pila has been a beloved staple for years, serving up traditional Mexican dishes alongside some American favorites. Many patrons have fond memories of their high school days spent here, and even after a few years away, the nostalgia remains strong. While the ambiance has seen slight updates over time, the food continues to impress with its delicious offerings.
I have been coming here since high school. I recently went after not going for a couple of years and this place is nostalgic for me. It has been a little updated since I have been. But the food is still amazing. I ordered the famous flautas and Pila burger. I also ordered cheese fries and everything came out amazing and delicious.
Veronica M — Google review
Ordered my food through door dash and they forgot all the salsas, sour cream, avocado and the other tomato sauce. Called the store and employees accused me of k lying saying they packed everything. They wanted for me to return to the store with the entire order so they could check if they forgot the sauces. The worst service ever, paid to have it delivered. So if not eating there don't even order on door dash. Had to buy guacamole, sour cream at another store.
Monica Z — Google review
Had to come to my favorite lunch spot during high school. It was a good week when I had the chance to have lunch here. Brought my husband to check it out for his first time and he loved it!! It was as great as I remembered it was so many years ago. Same great taste and at a great price. Love this place and wish I had one closer to me now but it's definitely worth the drive. *** Came back on a Saturday night and half of the dining room was closed off. The people don't even say hi when anyone walks in and not everyone knows that you have to go to the counter to order. It's almost like if they're dreading customers, because as it started filling up they had to open tables and they were visibly unhappy about it. It was awkward when ordering like they were judging or something, I didn't like the feeling but the food was great as always. Removing 2 starts due to my overall experience.
Mighty13d — Google review
I used to love this place. The taste has changed alot. However I can't deny that although the flavor is not the same, Food still comes out hot and fast.
Roxxy H — Google review
Honestly I use to love coming here when I was younger all the time. It’s been 10 years I haven’t been to La Pila. Today I was at that side of town so we decided to eat there. I’m sorry it’s not the same anymore. It was five of us in the table, I’m not done eating or my daughter but the other three were almost finished. I’m not kidding 3 different waiters came to our table cleaning up as if we were finished eating. Not even an excuse and one leans across me to get the plates. Then here comes another one and the third one really pissed me off. I never said I was finished and she grabbed my bottle of Coke that was half way full and at this point I was annoyed cuz she grabbed my Coke with her filthy hands and my plate. I get it you want people in and out but as a paying customer I would like to eat in peace. Teach your waiters to show a little more respect than making one feel rushed….
Ana M — Google review
Where do i start.... this place was so bad it grossed us out. Kitchen was horribly dirty but everything else was surprisingly clean. When we got our flautas i immediately got yhe smell that something in my plate was bad. After trying the so called flautas la pila i could immediately taste something was sour and bad. Mi intuition even told me to stop eating. La pila in juarez is a staple and traditional flautaplace... this place is just gross. Not to speak about the price too paid 50 dollars for 3 people... for that money i could have gone to a nice restaurant. Save your money. This was the worst experience at a restaurant ive ever had NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN.

The El Paso Museum of Art showcases a diverse collection in 5 galleries, reflecting the city's American, Mexican, and European heritage. Established in 1959, it has become a prominent cultural institution in West Texas and New Mexico. The museum houses the renowned Kress collection, Spanish Viceroyal art, American works, and an extensive contemporary collection featuring new art from Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Mexico.
El Paso Museum of Art is a wonderful place that depicts the long history of El Paso since its inception. The artifacts kept in the exhibit are quite interesting. It has various diverse elements. The building architecture and surrounding is also very good. The museum is very well maintained and free to visit for the public. It has a small kids' play zone. Need to plan an hour or two to properly explore the museum. The location is easily identifiable and has other relative museums of the city that are close by as well

Very nice building and very clean. It was easy to get to, only a 10 minute walk from our hotel and it was free admission. The museum itself had some interesting exhibits, but overall I found it boring. It didn’t take long to walk through the whole thing. I felt it wasn’t as captivating as other art museums I’ve been to. But it is worth a visit if you are in the area.

Loved this free entry museum!! We took our time looking at every piece and it was better than museums we’ve paid for! The Selena features were unexpectedly informative and added an extra personal touch connecting it to such an icon who’s performed in El Paso. Would definitely come again.

This is a good way to burn some time downtown El Paso. This is not a typical Museum, the art displayed on the walls is painted by what I assumed to be local people or artists. There are different types of art, from paintings to handmade objects. It was pretty neat to see. There is no complaining when the entry is free. The place is well-maintained and very clean. Overall, it was a great stop while you are downtown. Conveniently placed across the parking garage downtown!!

Unique, diverse art experience that we really enjoyed!

Superb free to visit museum with galleries on two floors. There are exhibits which include the work of young local artists and iconic religious art. However, the two most powerful collections are based on gender motivated violence and of art based on experiences connected to the nearby border, which are both excellent.

St. Patrick Cathedral stands as a stunning historical landmark in El Paso, with its construction spanning from 1725 to 1826. This majestic structure graces the vibrant Plaza de Armas and features an impressive baroque facade that captivates visitors. Inside, the cathedral boasts beautiful windows and a serene altar, making it a cherished place for worshippers seeking solace amidst life's chaos.
Beautiful church, beautiful colors and decoration that make you feel in a welcoming atmosphere. It has a climate system that keeps the temperature pleasant and its doors airtight manage to keep its interior in healthy peace and silence to connect with God or in your event. Good attention from the staff. It includes free parking with plenty of room in front and back.

A Place Where Faith Feels Alive: My First Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral Today marked my first time attending mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral, and it was an experience that resonated deeply. What struck me most was the genuine sincerity of the congregation. There was a palpable sense of community and shared devotion that made me feel instantly welcome. The mass itself was conducted with reverence and care, adhering to tradition in a way that felt both authentic and meaningful. In that sacred space, surrounded by heartfelt participation, I truly felt the presence of the Lord. For anyone seeking a place of sincere worship and a welcoming faith community, St. Patrick's Cathedral is undoubtedly a beacon. Thanks be to God for this beautiful experience.

I recently attended a funeral on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Unfortunately, the priest overlooked the children of the deceased, which I found quite disheartening. As they approached to receive their host, the priest waved them off and moved to prevent them from proceeding. Regardless of if they had their communion or not he could have offered a prayer or allowing them to wait on the side to receive his blessings—something they surely needed—it was a disappointing display. I had heard rumors of this church's past prejudices and political leanings, but witnessing it firsthand was surprising. It is truly upsetting to see such behavior in a church setting. No wonder many have withdrawn their loyalty from the Catholic Church.

I attended a funeral at this church for an elderly man named Rudy who was recently struck and killed right in front of this church after attending and serving this church for many years. Apparently the priest does not value it's members, especially those who are indigent like Rudy. The church priest who at first tried to ignore many requests for the service only accepted to do Rudy's service after days of pressure and eventually a warning that the churches refusal to acknowledge Rudy would be referred to the local media. The priest looked annoyed through the service and everyone at the service was shocked to witness such a dry and half hearted service. To the point where he had his staff abruptly turn off the lights and close the church right while those who attended were still sitting. We were not welcome, nor did this church value Rudy or his years of service to this church. I want to put this out there so people understand what kind of priest this is and that this church needs prayers, as those running it do not really care for it's members.

Dusty & Neglected & NO LOVE in this church. Our cousin had to beg to have Rudy F. Maidman service @ this church, even when he served this church for many years & he got run over infront of this church while serving in April 2025. McFadden looked bothered & unwelcoming. He was red and did not want to get up to even speak at the “forced service.” Our cousin did all the speaking & provided the music. If you serve @ this church just know they will not care when you pass. Rudy had no family he viewed this church as his family. This is how they treat their faithful servants. They do not matter to them!

Restaurant
La Custodia De San Pablo is an excellent dining establishment that offers a delightful ambiance and a unique experience. This charming restaurant boasts a dedicated area for live classical entertainment, conveniently located near their wine storage. Although the temperature in this section may be slightly cooler due to the presence of wine, it adds to the overall charm of the place. Additionally, upstairs there is a captivating bullfighting museum that showcases numerous historic photographs and articles, including an impressive display of a bullfighting uniform.
Really nice place to eat. Has a special section for live classical entertainment which is also near the wine storage, it's a bit chilly there but it's because of the wine. They also have a bullfighting museum upstairs, which is very nice. It has allot of historic photos and articles, they even have a display of a bullfighting uniform. Highly recommended for a romantic dinner or a nice and quiet place to eat.

A very cool restaurant with good service and food. They have a bull fighter museum and a small theater. I would like to come back enjoy the food and watch the performance if I have a chance.

The service was awesome. The live music (a violinist) was awesome. The cocktails were delicious. They did overcook our meat, which was a bummer. The live music and our company made the atmosphere lively. We went on Friday night, and we were the only ones there.

This place has being increasing his great menu! Has a great selection of Mexican dishes. The restaurant has a Bull Fighting theme and you can enjoy live piano music at the restaurant during the weekends. This place has a memorabilia of how bull fighting was introduced to Cd. Juárez. Adding that this place has a gourmet food store and a small theater where live music is played depending the season of the year. Enjoy! Provechito!

Very good and delicious artesanal and authentic Mexican food. Real Mexican food. Delicious. Also, drinks are delicious! You won’t find food or drinks quite like this anywhere else in Juarez.

It really tries to do gourmet Mexican food. And mostly succeeds, but it could be better. The house is very old and has a lot of antiques on display.

Steak house
Mexican restaurant
Mitla is a fantastic steakhouse that’s perfect for unwinding after a long day in Juarez. The menu features an impressive selection of thick, juicy steaks, including large sirloins and ribeyes that are bursting with flavor. While the cooking may vary slightly—like a medium-rare steak arriving undercooked—the attentive staff quickly remedy any issues to ensure your meal is just right.
Definitely an awesome experience and thanks to my brother pincel for taking me there and definitely will be back to try something different but what I had this last time we went was awesome and full of flavor and delicious. Thanks y'all

Food is good, especially their steaks. The only thing that really bothering me is the temperature inside is too high. People there are very friendly and nice. Also, do bring cash with you cause they don’t accept credit cards.

I arrived at rush hour, the place was full, but thankfully we were seated in about 5 minutes. Took a while for the server to attend our table, but while one of my guests ordered a Diet Coke, even though they didn't had any, they went to get one for her. We ordered 3 sirloins and a T-bone medium well, one of the sirloins was medium, a guacamole and 2 baked potatoes. When the plates were served, the servers got confused because of lots of orders and eventually we ended up with ours, but the potatoes and guacamole arrived last. Unfortunately, the sirloins were well done which perhaps finished cooking by the time the plates were delivered, except for mine which was perfect and juicy. It's not the first time I've come to his place but I always come back for the steaks, they often are very juicy and well served, but this was an odd experience which put in doubt my guests because of the service that we had. I hope that service can be improved in the future so that there aren't too long waiting times just to take orders. Overall it was a mixed experience full of a variety of well done steaks and a great big sirloin stake (from the picture), lots of tortilla chips and a surprising diet coke. I would recommend going here between 2 pm and 4 pm on Sundays so it's not that full.

Looking for a steakhouse on our way out of Juárez after a long hot day. This place hit the spot. Ordered lg sirloin (almost took up the whole plate!) & the Ribeye. Thick, juicy steaks bursting with flavor. Perfectly seasoned and almost cooked to perfection. Unfortunately i ordered med rare & it was a bit undercooked. No problem..they tossed it back on the grill & brought it back hot & cooked just right. Salsa was flavorful & hot. Chips were a bit old but good. Guacamole was fresh & good. Service was great, people friendly & helpful. And....it was under $60! We could only finish half so it made 2 meals easily. Be sure to bring cash. No cards accepted.

Delicious we choose the taquitos of carne asada with the frijoles charros, but the steaks are big quality.
