Redland City in 2 days

If you only have 2 days to spend in Redland City, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Redland City, southeast of Brisbane, offers easy access to Moreton Bay’s islands, including North Stradbroke (Minjerribah), known for its surf beaches, coastal walks and whale-watching lookouts. The mainland foreshore suburbs, such as Cleveland and Wellington Point, feature relaxed bayside parks, fishing spots and family-friendly swimming areas. The region also has bushland reserves and wetlands with walking tracks and birdwatching opportunities, including the protected habitats around Redland Bay and Capalaba. Local markets, historical sites like Ormiston House, and ferry links between coastal villages add to its laid-back, small-city appeal.
With favorites like Redlands Coast Museum, Redland Performing Arts Centre, and Cleveland Markets, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Fiction Bar & Restaurant and The Lighthouse Restaurant so you can get the best taste of Redland City while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

Nature & Parks
Wellington Point Recreation Reserve in Redlands Coast is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. With its picturesque coastal surroundings, the reserve offers opportunities for picnics, boating, and leisurely walks to King Island. Families particularly enjoy the safe sandy beach and climbing trees, while visitors can take advantage of the stunning views and refreshing sea breeze. The well-maintained park features clean facilities, manicured lawns, benches, BBQs, and an island walk at low tide.
Wellington Point is one of the best places to enjoy a sunset in Brisbane! 🌅 A peaceful coastal spot with wide views over Moreton Bay. At low tide, you can walk along the sandbar in the middle of the bay – a unique experience, but make sure to check the tide times as the water rises quickly. The park has BBQ areas, picnic spots, and a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for families, couples, or anyone who loves nature. Parking can be busy on weekends, so it’s best to arrive a bit earlier. Highly recommended for a relaxing afternoon and stunning sunset views! 🌊

🌅 Chilled Day at Wellington Point Beach 🌊 Had such a lovely time at Wellington Point Beach! It’s the perfect spot to relax, especially during low tide when you can walk out to King Island – such a cool experience. The water is calm and great for a casual swim or just dipping your feet in. We grabbed some snacks, had a little picnic, and watched the sun go down – the sunset views here are honestly beautiful. There’s plenty of space to sit under the trees or walk along the shore. Great place to unwind with friends or even solo. Peaceful, clean, and just a short drive from city.
Shing S — Google review
Popular, large park with plenty of parking, shade and covered tables and BBQ facilities. At low tide you can walk out to a small island and back. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
Brendan D — Google review
Stunning! We went during the week and kids were back at school so it was quiet. Fantastic area for kids, great park, loads of shade under the trees - which are absolutely stunning. We walked out to the island during low tide. Highly recommend doing it. It’s a great experience.
Marc F — Google review
Wellington Point Recreation Reserve was beautiful, but unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to walk out to King Island like Moses. I could only admire it from afar this time. Hopefully, I’ll get the opportunity to make that walk and explore King Island up close in the future!
Annie L — Google review
A beautiful and clean picnic area with children's play area. Plenty shade and parking. Stunning views over Moretonbay.
Christine L — Google review
Perfect place to watch a gorgeous sunset & if you head down at low tide, you can walk out to the island you can see in the photos. Really easy walk, approx 3km there and back.
Kimberley H — Google review
Havent been here for a while since moving to the northside, the kids were on about 6 - 10yrs of age, now in their mid 20's. Still an awesome place to visit, so much to do & love it when the tide goes down & you can walk over to the little island. A really great spot for famiy gatherings, bbq, fishing, take the boat out, playground for the kids, public toilets

Good little centre with a variety of shops. I have shopped there for a number of years until now...The road surface where the disability parks are near the main entrance is terrible very hard to push your trolley over it so until something is done about it I will be shopping at Capalaba Central.

Has a small but good variety of shops. It now also has a Top Health Doctor Surgery.

A nice small shopping centre. The main store is the Woolworths supermarket with a variety of small shops such as a chemist, bakery and fruit shop. A few food outlets are also available. The Japanese is very nice for takeaway.

A nice little shopping centre but no thanks to the harrassment from people supporting the man bludging and asking for money when I'm broke as well, don't need to be harnessed by degenerates and rude people, otherwise the shopping Centre and staff are very friendly, please sort out the bludgers asking for help, go to the salvation army. Not the local shopping centre.

Nestled in the heart of Cleveland, the Redland Performing Arts Centre (RPAC) is a vibrant hub for cultural experiences that caters to all tastes and ages. With an impressive lineup of events ranging from comedy and drama to music and family-friendly theatre, RPAC has something for everyone. Since its inception, it has welcomed over 200,000 attendees who have come together to celebrate the arts in this welcoming venue.
Unfortunately didn't think to take pics as I was immediately impressed by the whole experience & shows that are coming. Could buy drinks 🍸 on arrival & if needed you could proceed to the show with a drink 🍷in hand ,which was a nice touch 👌 First time there for me but will definitely be back for sure .ABSOLUTELY LOVED the venue & the show i attended on my own. The staff were also extremely helpful. The presentation overall was very excellent. 💯 %

Terrible service by the ushers. We had disabled seats booked and my special needs client twisted her ankle walking into the show and needed to be seated quickly. Staff were rude, intimidating and unhelpful.
Claire O — Google review
This is a great venue for concerts or stage shows. The concert hall can accommodate 550 seated people so the viewing to the stage is quite good.
Noremac050 — Google review
A great Entertainment Centre & wonderful staff. The only disappointment is the small amount of Disability Parking which is very hard when you want to attend shows. There is a very good Bar but no actual restaurant. Apart from that the Theatre is beautiful & very large. There are lifts to certain areas. They have rebuilt a lot of the areas & it is very attractive.

Awesome venue. Easy to access, great parking. Restaurants close by. We saw Echoes of Pink Floyd cover band and it was spectacular

The band was spectacular and i was amazed how many band members fitted in the pit.. overall an awesome experience from the time you walked in the doors to the time you left, staff were helpful and polite, will def go to see more of H2L performances at the venue

It’s a nice and cozy performance centre. I have enjoyed an amazing guitar concert, ballet and Agro show so far and they were all great. Keep an eye on what’s on here 🤩 Also, it’s a plus because it’s in very short walking distance to the dining precinct in Cleveland. Recently the forecourt has been renewed.

Raby Bay Harbour is a vibrant destination that offers an exceptional blend of culinary experiences and leisure activities. Nestled just a short drive from Cleveland Bay, this picturesque complex features an array of outstanding restaurants serving diverse international cuisines, perfect for both casual meals and fine dining. Visitors can enjoy alfresco dining while soaking in the stunning views of boats gliding through the marina and Moreton Bay.
We enjoyed a delicious Al Capone pizza at Mamma Mia Trattoria Pizzeria and finished it off with yummy icecream from Cold Rock. Nice views and walk along the harbour.
Narelle S — Google review
Nice harbour with few big boats. A boat trip to Brisbane could be a nice tourist attraction. Good restaurants.

This is a nice relaxed place with lots of options for eating and a great outlook over a small marina surrounded by apartments. Definitely a lovely place to wile away time enjoying a meal or drink.

Great atmosphere and a welcomed change since last visit was their quick service time. Staff were very polite & friendly. Just one suggestion for the background music to be turned down a little. The live music being played outside was great but volume was just a little too loud for the inside ambience.

Old Cleveland Lighthouse, located at Cleveland Point in Brisbane, offers a picturesque spot to catch the sunset over the water. The retired wooden shiplap lighthouse provides a charming backdrop for families with kids to enjoy the stunning landscape while sipping on something delightful. Situated on the eastern side of the point, visitors can admire views towards North Stradbroke Island and beyond. Additionally, this historical site serves as an educational opportunity for children to learn about its significance and history.
Great headland area & a good playground & park for kids too. Lovely spot, especially as the sun goes down as when we called past. Not sure, but don't think you can do anything more than just look at the lighthouse, it's just a basic, small structure.
Matt S — Google review
The walkway adjacent to the sea is mind blowing! We had a wonderful time watching the sunset. Great for having some family time together ❤️

The lighthouse is a lovely structure, very photogenic. Next to the lighthouse is a park suitable for a picnic. Has undercover tables and chairs. There's also a good playground for the young ones. A stones throw from the lighthouse is The Lighthouse cafe, restaurant and 🍸 bar.

Lovely little spot..playground and toilets..plenty of seats around to look at water..old boat ramp where some guys were fishing..went down to look at the beautiful pelicans..
Julia L — Google review
This is on a nice park in Moreton Bay on a narrow Peninsula in Cleveland. It is nice views of the Bay and you can see Moreton and North Stradbroke Islands across the water. There are always boats out on the water enjoying the day as well as ferries to many of the islands in the bay. The lighthouse is an older style that helped guide shipping in the earlier days of Brisbane Harbour. A nice place for a picnic or just to sit and wile away some time. There is a fish and chip shop and an icecream shop in the restaurant and cafe complex that has excellent takeaway food as well.
Stephen E — Google review
Love the fresh air, beautiful scenery bay views, plenty of free parking. Open and shaded areas with seats. Great spot to stop, picnic, have some ☀️ quiet time with your ☕ restaurant nearby.

Came here for our nephew’s birthday. It’s a really good venue for big group events on the weekend, especially with the live music and fun games. The only hiccup was the food quality. I probably shouldn’t have ordered Asian dishes — my fried whole barramundi with rice was overly sugary, which didn’t sit well for a rice-based meal. Aside from that, the place itself is great for gatherings.

I give this place more than 5 stars for their high Tea! Wow.. I'm beyond impressed. Everything was perfect for our planned bridal shower! Very good RSL with a big bistro dining area with an improved menu, daily specials and some entertainment with live music or other acts. Great snooker room with 3 full size tables. Staff are generally friendly especially at reception and Angelo in Sails Dining. Pork belly ramen was ok but lacked depth and soup was lukewarm.

Amazing Annual ANZAC DAY service!!! Extremely popular, you need to book a dining table in advance. Meals are always enjoyable but on the higher side for Club prices. The Entertainment can make it extremely loud, don't expect to have a quite conservation.

Attended an educational dinner meeting at Fiction Restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent—my entree was crispy and the main carefully prepared, and full of flavor. Every bite was satisfying. The waterfront setting added to the ambiance, making it a great spot for both casual and special occasions. Service was good, and the overall experience was enjoyable. Definitely a great place to dine at Raby Bay Harbour!
Niswan P — Google review
From the moment we walked in the service was excellent. We had a reservation and were seated outside and the weather was lovely. It was a Saturday night and the music levels were at a nice level for conversation. We were offered drinks immediately which was refreshing. I could see tables of cocktails and drinks and imagine this place getting louder as the night goes on. Luckily for us we were quite removed from the bar area and this noise didn't affect our meal or atmosphere outdoors. The food was quite nice, particularly the Salmon and Chicken mains. The nachos were a little boring in flavour, but serving sizes were generous. Unfortunately they had run out of Beef Cheeks by the time we arrived for our 7pm booking which was a little disappointing. We left a tip as our wait staff had contributed greatly to our good experience and overall meal. Shortly afterwards, as we were getting ready to leave, they came by our table to thank us for dining and that's just a lovely thanks that isn't often received anymore. This place emanates local experience, professionalism and we are regulars.

To be fair, we have been walking passed Fiction for years and never stopped and gave them our business. Today we decided to dine at Fiction. Fabulous service from a lovely young lady, Kya. (Forgive the spelling of her name. Not at all familiar with the name) The food was excellent and the drinks were prompt. Lovely seeing James. We haven't seen him for sometime. Overall I highly recommend Fiction.

Sadly a poor experience in general. Went there last Saturday evening to treat our friends for a meal. Sat outside - unbelievably noisy (intoxicated bunch of guys yelling at each other). Our evening started off with a drink missing from our order (3 drinks for 4 people). No apology when I re-ordered the missing drink. We asked for a candle or something to light up our table because it was so dark, we couldn’t see our meals! We were told by the waitress that all the table lights were broken but she would try to find something for us - she didn’t even bother coming back to us, so we rigged up a cell phone on the outdoor umbrella rope to light up our food. Meals were large but lacking seasoning/flavour - we asked for some salt and pepper that never arrived because of the drunken bunch at the table next to us who were now getting all the attention. These blokes (at the table next to us) were totally intoxicated. They were served volumes of drinks that allowed them to get so drunk that they started messing with the waitress, swearing, falling over etc. This resulted in the security guy jumping over the fence to intervene! Needless to say the foul language, raised voices and threats against the security guy became so unpleasant we cut our evening short and left. There was no apology from anyone - then again I’m not surprised as all the focus was on the drunken bunch and nobody cared about the other patrons! A horrible outing for us - won’t waste our time or money there again! The place lived up to it’s name and turned out to be just that “FICTION”

Ordered a seafood CKT and Buddha bowl & Goya dressing with teriyaki chicken. Seafood CKT was tasty with plenty of prawns and calamari and excellent value. The Buddha bowl was a bit dry and simple but the chicken was very tasty.

Terrible food despite good service and atmosphere. Paid $38 for a salmon dish that came with just a tiny piece of fish and piles of potato and pumpkin — easily the worst and smallest salmon I’ve ever had. Almost every table had leftover food, and after tasting mine, I knew exactly why. This place survives on location, not quality.
Lin T — Google review
We had an incredible dining experience last night, thanks in large part to the exceptional service we received. Our group of around 20 was warmly looked after by Izzy, who went above and beyond to ensure every single one of us felt cared for. Her attentiveness, kindness, and professionalism truly stood out—she’s an absolute asset to the Fiction team. The food was also fantastic—delicious, well-presented, and served promptly. A wonderful evening all around!

WOW is an understatement! From service, to the food, to the view. Just WOW. 10/10 location. Easy parking. Plenty out front as well as beside the restaurant. Just the bread entree right through to desert, everything was well thought out. The menu offered something for everyone. It was well spread out and easy to talk which is so important. Dined at The lighthouse on Sunday and ordered a chicken burger w/fries and a raspberry spider. The burger was juicy and absolutely delicious, chips were cooked to perfection. As much as I’d love to keep raving about how delicious this burger was because seriously, take my word for it. A couple notes, I did find a few bones in my meal, happens in food service all the time so there really nothing to say except it was just a bit unexpected. I waited patiently for my raspberry spider, unfortunately I feel like the restaurant might have lost my docket. After a bit over 25 minutes I decided to talk to a staff member, he was on it like the wind. No complaints here. The atmosphere is lovely enough to not worry about where everything is. Last thing I’d like to say is that when finishing my meal, a staff member took my plate just as I was finishing and my drink with it. Now I know this is probably just me, but I was saving that lovely last bit of my spider. I felt a little saddened by this and decided to leave shortly after. Overall, this is possibly the loveliest spot by the point and definitely worth your while. The staff are attentive and lovely, views are fantastic and the chicken burger is the best I’ve tasted. I’ll be back :)

Food was very nice. My 1 star off is I think the seafood chowder could have been a bit more. The seafood platter for 2 was amazing. Shared it my grandson and even took some home. Will definitely be back.

The sirloin was excellent — perfectly cooked to a juicy medium rare. The personal seafood platter was also impressive: the fried fish had a wonderfully fragrant crust, and the flesh was delicate and flavorful. Surprisingly, the fried calamari was actually springy — quite rare in Australia! The prawns and crab were a bit salty, and their shells were slightly tricky to peel. The view and atmosphere were great, though it gets quite windy at night. If you’re sensitive to cold or lightly dressed, I’d recommend sitting indoors.

Spectacular setting over looking Moreton Bay and Peel Island. Great seating options, all with a view. I have always loved the Sea Food Platter which we first tried a few Christmas's ago. Fish, chips, crab, oysters. bug, prawns, calamari. So much food and so delicious. Ambience is wonderful with superb service.

The Lighthouse cafe is a lovely place to have a coffee ☕️ while overlooking the waterfront at Cleaveland. The coffee was burnt and could have been better. The pastries 🍰 were nice and fresh. I visited on a Sunday morning 🌄 and the cafe was packed. It can be quite a wait to get a table.

This cafe stands out from the typical fish and chip shop, focusing on fresh, clean flavors that elevate your dining experience. Just a stone's throw from Chumley Warners, it’s an ideal spot for those seeking wholesome dishes.
I usually take the decision to try any fish and chips eatery from the way it smells.. This place smells good, and clean. Furthermore; fresh seafood, taste very nice, and welcoming staff.. I would love to repeat my visit ..

Tonight will be the last time I buy from here. We have been customers to this shop for close to a decade for a reason. Tasty, good quality fish and chips at reasonable prices with great customer service. It changed hands a little while ago and we noticed the drop in quality straight away. We have given them a grace period to find their feet, but I could speculate that the new owners focus is on profit. Tonight my meal was a bit disappointing for a $16 meal that took 20 minutes with 2 customers in front of me and was luke warm. It's a shame, but there you go.
Paul Q — Google review
I’ll start with the good: Service here is pretty kind and polite. And the meal itself is pretty. Now onto what could be changed: I would say offer more combos (that include drinks) that can discount total price cos this place is pretty pricey. For three people with only one drink our total neared $70 😅 Barramundi and Salmon cost the same here, and salads are $5.9. I would say the salad isn’t worth it, and small chips is enough. They kept talking about chicken salt being used but I could barely taste any used. What’s more the barramundi fish was so small that we didn’t really think it was worth it. If the catch is small maybe offer up two smaller pieces or another half to make up, or lower the $14.9 price point. Lastly there was a 30 minute wait time for the meals which was also a bit random as it didn’t seem that busy. I enjoyed the meal but probably wouldn’t come back unless prices and wait time drop a little bit.

$20.50 for 4 pieces of whiting and a handful of chips with barbecue sauce. I was told it would be a 10-15 minute wait. I did not realise that would mean 15 minutes before the food was actually put in the fryer. 3 staff on and I had to wait over 20 minutes for this overpriced meal. Not a single order ahead of me but 3 others behind also patiently waiting. The batter on the whiting was also very thick. TLDR: waste of time and money, go elsewhere

It's very nice fish and chips shop. Nice food between $9 to $15 per person. For Seafood that is Cheap.

Awesome food, good size of food and hard to beat prices! Has special $9.9 fish and chips deal when we were there. We had fish burgers and it was great, love the batter on fish, delicious!
Taylor C — Google review
I had much higher hopes for this place considering the previous reviews, I was quite disappointed. Originally asked if we could have grilled fish pieces in the combo deal (as I get sick from batter and crumbing) and were told no quite rudely and weren't offered any alternative. So I got a piece of salmon ($14.90), my friend got crumbed cod and chips with gravy. All up it was just shy of $57 and unfortunately it was all very mediocre. The salmon was cooked okay but almost no seasoning on it and a very small cut, cod was nothing to write home about and most of the chips and gravy went in the bin. There was also quite a long wait and they forgot the chicken salt too. Unsure how this establishment has 4.4 stars, certainly won't be returning. ☹️

Really enjoyed the Fish and Chips and Burger, one of the best I've had in a long time. Batter was crispy, chips were beer battered, and double fried, super crunchy. Burger was a proper works burger with pineapple and beetroot.

Wedding venue
The Courthouse Restaurant is a modern Australian dining spot located in a 19th-century house with timber and sandstone elements, offering a rustic ambiance and an open fire. This fine-dining establishment prides itself on its generous portion sizes and high-quality meals. Situated in the historic Cleveland area, it exudes old-world charm both in its architecture and menu offerings. The restaurant provides an opportunity to savor local produce while enjoying the sundrenched Redlands coastline.
Perfect place for a special occasion. Went here to celebrate my parents wedding anniversary, lovely outdoor setting, quiet classical music playing over speakers in the background. The servers were attentive like a proper restaurant should be, our meals were all delicious and good size portions. My mother is very particular about her food but even she was pleased- the slow roasted beef cheeks were soft and full of flavour. I ordered the entree for 2 as a main meal, which came with 4 of each scallops, prawns, fish, and a moreton bay bug halved. Only slight criticism would be the brandy snap basket was quite thick, hard to eat as a dessert, had to eat the sorbet first and crack into the basket at the end. However the flavour of the sorbet was spot on. Prices are reasonable for fine dining, feels worth it for a special occasion, definitely recommend.

The food was great, the service abominable. The cake on the left was served to my friend , the one on the right was served to me, and it was not placed on the table but dropped in front of me. It took nearly 40 minutes before we were asked if we required drinks which then took another 20 minutes to arrive. I asked the waiter for some water, 20 minutes later l went looking for him and found him chatting to three other staff, l asked him again if he would bring the water, anot10 minutes passed before it came. Overall it took 4 hours to serve a 3 course meal and no coffee was offered at any time. Overall a very poor show.

One of the best meals we’ve enjoyed for a long time. The food quality was excellent, and with decent sized portions. Our seafood was brilliantly prepared, with a subtle dressing to enhance (rather than overpower) the main attraction. Friendly service and a great ambiance.
David J — Google review
Went on a Friday night, the service was great and the food was old school but pretty good. It’s a great little space and we were seated in the courtyard had a couple bottles of wine and 2 courses for $280. Got the scallops and fried camembert (I know right) and they were both good. We had the fillet mignon and the barramundi, both were cooked to perfection and really tasty and accompanied with a plate of crisp, hot truffle fries as a side order. It’s a busy little place and has a certain charm from yesteryear to it.

Found this gorgeous place as we were driving through Cleveland last night. Absolutely delicious food and the atmosphere was just so relaxing with a pianist playing. Food was superb and my fish was the best I have tasted in a long time. Felt like I had stepped back in time to where you get quality service and food. The staff were so attentive. Beautiful white table cloths which just adds a special extra touch. Took a walk down near the water under the moonlight. This restaurant is just stunning. Will be taking a drive again there soon. Thank you for a wonderful dinner and night! Feel like I have missed out not knowing this place existed.

My lady and I dine out at five star establishments quite a lot. It was my 60th birthday dinner. This time we decided to go local just the two of us. The menu looked amazing and good value for money with an option of a two course meal or a three course meal, normally the quantities are quite less we initially went for the three course meal after receiving our entrées and main meals we could not eat another thing they were so filling and so so nice. Special mention to Riley and Lara for exceptional service, when my lady asked for a glass of sparkling wine Riley came out with the bottle to show her to confirm it was right wine. Lara also spoke to us about the history of the building which was amazing. This has never happened to us before, amazing service. Highly recommend this establishment for value for money and exceptional taste in food to back up, the lighting was not too dim, but still extremely romantic. There was a live pianist playing on a Wednesday night and when she was having a break, there was soft background music playing which added a relaxing, romantic, beautiful experience.
Salvatore M — Google review
We attended here on a Thursday night. The staff that were on were polite, attentive and always smiling. The atmosphere was very elegant, with a pianist playing at a level that allowed diners to converse but still enjoy her playing. The meals we had could not be faulted. From the entrees to the mains. The seafood was well seasoned and prepared The Moreton Bay bug and prawn salad. The mains were very much the same Fillet Mignon wrapped in bacon and the seafood side and Pan seared Atlantic Salmon and garlic prawns. This was our first time here and we will certainly be returning.

A lovely experience. Great food start to finish. The wait staff are attentive and well spoken. The food was served in an appropriate time frame. The doorway to the outside dining area needs a closer as it repeatedly slams shut in the wind.

Shopping
Victoria Point Lakeside Shopping Centre is a well-maintained and tidy complex that offers a reasonable variety of typical shops. It is conveniently located only a short 5-minute trip from the ferry terminal, making it easily accessible for people from the Bay Islands. The Harvest Cafe, located in the centre, serves delicious soup of the day and splendid scones. The staff is lovely, and they serve very nice coffee, making it an excellent spot to meet up for lunch.
Went for a quick stop with Mum. Parking was fine, and the centre was quiet. Nothing standout, but had what we needed. Not a bad place for running errands.

Barcella's Resteraunt, for dinner i had the slow cooked King Henry Lamb shank with red wine jus sauce, green beans and beautiful creamy mash potatoes. The lamb shank was a 530 gram cooking sensation deliciously, melt in the mouth and falling off the bone! You won't go home hungry after this one. The music was nice every Saturday night, seating outside is beautiful by the lake. Booking is essential if you would like to sit outside i would recommend. Ask for a table closer to the water where you can look over the balcony and see the turtles. When you arrive at Barcella's the Menu Outside displays the lunch and breakfast Menus. Not so much the Dinner Menu, so when you go ask at the counter to see the Dinner Menu. I have posted the Dinner Menu. The prawn entree was delicious, as always cruncy texture and fresh. I have been back to this place, 4 times now during the day, afternoon, and for Dinner.

Fresh food market
The Cleveland Markets feature a diverse selection of over 70 stalls offering everything from fresh produce and arts and crafts to delicious food and entertainment. Located conveniently close to the train station with ample free street parking, it's easily accessible for visitors. The market is known for its wide array of goods, including fresh fruits and vegetables, hot food, coffee, bakery items, giftware, and clothing. Visitors can also find unique offerings such as handmade candles and loyalty rewards from various stall holders.
Visiting the Cleveland Markets is a much loved Sunday ritual for our family. There is the practical element of stocking up on some amazing local produce, and then there is the lovely sense of community and wholesomeness of being out and about on a Sunday morning. Our favourites are the French bakery (the pumpkin sour dough is amazing), the egg stall, the organic Logan grown produce, the berry stall and the dog treats stall (all reliably there each week). We also enjoy the playground where they put out lots of ride on toys, and if your kid is in to bin trucks like mine is right now, the bin trucks comes between the playground and the shops about 9am to empty the community bins and they usually wave and beep the horn for the kids. There is also usually a young person playing music and they're all very talented, and a range of stalls that come and go to keep it interesting (OMG Donuts and Merry Go Round Toys are often there). There is loads of street parking in the surrounds and it's a short stroll from the train station. It's pet friendly and the dog spotting (and other pets too) is of good quality. Whether you're visiting or a local it's a beautiful community markets that's well worth a trip to.

Petit but sweet, clean & lovely stalls of crafts, farm produce and food. Along both sides of the market are a couple of lovely small cafés serving great pastries & coffees too. Besides the market itself you could enjoy the beautiful leafy area too. Very nice way to spend a Sunday morning with friends & family. I'd say more stalls of different varieties would be even better. I will definitely go again.

Sunday morning cleveland markets are full of cute boutiques, food & drinks & sometimes a local singer to set the calm mood. Olives, iced tea & the Transylvanian food are my personal favs! Fresh fruit & veg is helpful as well.
NINA K — Google review
Some of the stalls are hit or miss if they are available each week. Lots of fun stalls like hardware plants food clothing etc. You need to go regularly as some of the stalls are only there every two or three weeks so each visit can be like a whole new experience. There is also the natural and alternative products. Plus...
Peter B — Google review
Great food, friendly people and all around a good time! I cannot recommend it enough. The market has an incredible amount of variety and stuff to see. Must see!
Jordan G — Google review
I loved the atmosphere at these markets. Friendly and welcoming people, a guy was singing and he made such a lovely contribution to the overall vibe. Beautiful fresh fruit, veg, nuts and seeds, bread and cakes. A great variety of stalls - something for everyone.
Pauline F — Google review
A great Sunday morning stop at the Cleveland Markets on Bloomfield Street – open 7 am-1 pm, every Sunday. What impressed me: there’s a solid mix of fresh produce stalls, arts and crafts, food vendors and cafés. I picked up some fresh seasonal fruit, a loaf from a bakery stall and a coffee at one of the cafés. The location is super convenient, with free street parking and just a short walk from Cleveland train station. What could be better: while variety is good, some weeks I noticed fewer craft stalls and felt it could benefit from even more unique vendors. Also, it does get a bit busy by late morning, so arriving early gives you better parking and choice. Overall: a relaxing, fun outing for breakfast plus browsing, especially if you want something local and community-driven.

Was a great experience at Colour My Pot. We booked in for a 9am session and were able to stay for several hours until we had finished our piece. It was so relaxing and there was no rush. We were so happy with our final product and very excited to see it after being fired in the kiln. Thank you for a lovely day out. Would definitely come back again!

Disgusting, my daughter wanted to paint a bowl so I accompanied her , the cost $10 , for her $10 plus $38 for the bowl, she spent hours painting that bowl the next day we got a call to say someone broke it, as upset as she was we asked for a rufund, the person said no worries, instead of refunding the $58 they refunded $38 I sent an email and left a message, are you serious charging a young woman $20 to sit there and pay for something you guys broke, absolutely disgusting practice we definitely won’t be attending ever again. Since posting this they have fully refunded me , Thankyou very much.

Colour my pot was a wonderful experience, they took a personal request of mine for my girlfriends birthday which I really appreciate, they also host kids birthday parties and have a really nice coffee place next door. They were extremely accommodating and explained everything to us in detail. I would recommend this to anyone who interested in arts/crafts or a nice time out with friends/family In conclusion, really friendly, accommodating and fun! 5/5 easily

Incredibly accommodating and great staff who are willing to explain how everything works, to everyone that comes in. Fyi- Once you finish painting, they glaze and fire your pieces, which you will need to go back for. Which is a great service, I might need to stop and do another piece while I'm there for pick up! It's very addictive. Fun for the whole family for sure!

The staff are true artisans of customer service. From the moment I walked in, they went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was nothing short of perfect. The team's enthusiasm for their craft is infectious, and their knowledge and guidance truly enhanced my painting journey. They were patient, attentive, and always ready to offer a helping hand or a creative suggestion. The variety of pottery options available is impressive, catering to artists of all skill levels. The shop provides a wide array of colours, tools, and stencils to choose from, allowing for endless possibilities and ensuring that every creation is unique. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a beginner, it has something for everyone.

The staff were incredibly helpful, and only too happy to assist with any questions that you may have when creating your perfect piece. There was a bustle of activity and this did not stop everybody from having their needs met at any time required. The time flew by as we chatted while relaxing in the vibe of the studio. Pieces were able to be fitted for anybody’s budget, and we were delighted with our results. Highly recommend this activity to anybody that’s just wanting to let the inner artist out. The Redland Museum, located in Cleveland, offers a captivating look into the history of the region. It delves into Brisbane's significant role during World War II and showcases the South West Pacific campaign led by General Douglas MacArthur. The museum features three main exhibits highlighting wartime efforts, the campaign, and General MacArthur himself. Visitors can explore a variety of historic artifacts and engaging stories that shaped the Redlands Coast.
I really loved the Redlands Coast Museum. I had previously visited a similar museum in Petrie which was a bit underwhelming and I had low expectations here. But the place was very well done and had a huge variety of artefacts and far exceeded my expectations. It’s a great place to visit for kids to teach them about “the olden days”. Well done team!

A lovely little museum, only $6 concession to get in, children free. Lots of old things to look at. Full of local history too. A little train!tram that you can pretend to work from the drivers seat and blow the horn. Loads of different sections with different themes, eg toy room with how toys have changed with time, a doll section, a general store of how one would have been back in the day with genuine posters and articles from the time, eg of a dining room from back in the day with real furniture from the past. There's loads to see, old motor bikes, old carts, old Holden, some vehicles are over 100yrs old! There's even homemade biscuits $8, a little showbag with homemade wooden toys and boiled lollies for $20, and a collector badge you can purchase on your way on/out if you want to take a momento. There are old model ships, and stories/from from real local/and other people from the olden days. We loved it. A lovely, cheap, informative, fun day out.

This particular branch has gained recognition for its pleasant ambiance and attentive customer service, which has consistently been impressive. The overall atmosphere exudes warmth and positivity, creating a delightful experience for patrons.
By far one of the fastest and cleanest branch of HJ, I have ever seen and you would be surprised that the teenager and high schooler working there are friendly and efficient. Everyone that was waiting there when I was there, were clearly loving these kids as they are having fun and working with ethics

Highly recommend you fire the entire team of staff here and try again with some decent people who actually have pride for their job. You should be handing out food free with the lack of quality that’s served. Fast food is the easiest form of hospitality and you lot aren’t even capable of making fresh fries and putting the container up-right in the bag, let alone make a burger with 3 damn ingredients. Someone with a brain needs to over-look the incompetent children making food here.

The tenders are delicious However they are quite expensive when you count this size piece as a single tender, that’s a bit of a let down. Makes me want to stick with the KFC down the road for my chicken needs. Bought today 3 March 8pm

Bruh what a waste of money, they can’t even fill the storms up properly. if I had a known id have to order 4 individual storms, to make 2 I would have spent my money on Maccas Absolutely diabolical Shame on you Shame on your family Dishonour on your cow.

Thought I would try the new Turkish double sausage breakfast burger, I was the only car in drive through then a second car came. Waited in parking for 20min car behind me was given their food ASAP the lady didn't say anything about the wait then deliveted the slop wrapped in paper and waited ages no other cars see the photo below what I got what they advertised. Don't go it was horrible and the patty tasted awful.

I’ve ordered from here a number of times, and for some reason I keep receiving someone else’s order. The receipt on my bag is my order but the food inside is not mine. This has occurred many times - so I’m not sure what’s going on inside with the orders, but perhaps someone is incorrectly labelling bags, or maybe the order system is somehow screwed up?
Craig C — Google review
Got to be the number 1 Hungry Jacks in Australia for getting orders wrong. Chimpanzees could do a better job. Missing items on just about every order thats made, happens too often that it surely can’t be genuine mistakes Most recent was an order for 3 meals, one drink was wrong and zero chips in the bag.
Andrew W — Google review
every time i go to this hungry jacks they don’t give me half of my order and when i ask about the missing items the staff is rude and gaslights me saying i never ordered them when i definitely did. Also such a long wait in the drive through parking when there was no one else there.

The French Table Restaurant in Redlands Coast offers a boutique BYO dining experience with a menu featuring traditional French cuisine. From deep-fried camembert to duck and escargot, the restaurant promises to transport diners to France without leaving their seats. Guests can indulge in delicacies like garlic and herb butter escargot, perfectly cooked scallops, tender pork mains, and rich creme brulee. The staff is known for impeccable service and a commitment to using locally grown produce.
Five star French dining at a 3 star price. I live in Cleveland and had been wanting to check out The French Table for a few years. Finally we did. Now I wish we’d gone there sooner. My wife and I went for lunch for an anniversary. A real Parisian experience.a few days after cyclone Alfred to support a local business. Very happy we did. The service, food and value were all exceptional. We felt very spoilt.😁 We will be back! They have casual dining outside too.👍

Went here a year ago and were impressed. Not happy with the quality of second visit. Ordinary food. Expensive prices. Scallops seemed to have been frozen before being baked. Thursday night and only 3 tables of guests. Telling? Won't go back a third time

Wow what a lovely dining experience. The entree garlic prawns were absolutely to die for, 4 big prawns shared was perfect. The eye fillet with pepper sauce was perfectly cooked and divine and the truffle duck delicious. The green beans and duck fat potatoes were lovely as was the crepe a l’orange. Service was wonderful. Didn’t quite get the full 50% First Table discount but was so happy with everything I even gave a big tip. Nice to see it get busier by 6.30pm. Chef Robert has excelled. Looking forward to returning.

Quant little French restaurant with tasty food. Plating of some dishes could have been better (rabbit risotto in particular) but flavours were great overall. Recommend the wine pictured with the cheese beignets, amazing!

We have not been back to the French Table restaurant over five years so made a visit with the First Table deal last night. It was a quiet Sunday night but did not affect our appetite to enjoy such a nice French dinner. First came to the table were the Puff Pastry tart and the escargots. The winning factor of the tart was the crispy pastry. The heirloom tomatoes and the caramelised onions really upgraded the tart to another level. The escargots were presented differently from other French restaurants by serving the escargots with tasteful garlic and herb butter in a separate bowl accompanied by a nice baguette. There were plenty of escargots and you ought to dip the garlics and herb butter with the baguette in order to fully appreciate the chef’s culinary skill. Next to the table were the mains of duck breast and the grilled pork sausage. The truffle infused duck breast looked not pinky enough but surprisingly it delivered a very soft tasteful texture. The crushed potatoes with truffle sauce really matched it well. Frankly, it was the first time that we tasted pork sausage in a French restaurant. It was so good with nice firm texture and delivered a very delicious taste with the red wine reduction. Overall, it was a very impressive dining experience and this restaurant really deserves to be a local gem in Cleveland.

My husband and I finally had the chance to dine at this beautiful French restaurant for our 3rd wedding anniversary, and it absolutely exceeded all expectations. We’d been meaning to try it for a while, and now we’re wondering why we waited so long! From start to finish, everything was flawless. The service was warm and attentive, and each dish was not only full of flavour but also presented with such elegance. The attention to detail in the plating made every course feel like a special occasion in itself. We especially loved the snails — perfectly cooked, rich, and buttery — and the crème brûlée, which was hands down the best we've ever had. Silky smooth with a beautifully crisp top, it was the perfect way to end the meal. Thank you for making our anniversary dinner so memorable. We’ll definitely be back — and bringing friends next time!

Sorry to say we were disappointed, having been impressed on a previous visit. The service is second to none, the entree’s were fine, my wife and I both had the duck for main , the slices were around half the size as in the photos in other reviews and very tough, with only a tablespoon of sauce , and I could not taste any truffle . We were reluctant to say anything to the waiter who was exceptional, until the dessert, my wife nearly broke the plate trying to cut the very thick tart pastry and it was impossible to pick up without lemon curd going everywhere . The affogato I had was wrong , too much ice cream in a glass that made it impossible to get it out without a straw. After mentioning this to the waiter we weren’t charged for dessert. We love supporting local businesses, please don’t let our experience this time put you off, we all have not so good days.

Just enjoyed a Father's day lunch. Beautiful meals with ample serving sizes. Staff were friendly and helpful. Coffee was surprisingly good . Will be back.

Me and my friends had a terrible experience at this restaurant; I found fly eggs in my food, and when I addressed it, the manager dismissed my concerns by claiming it was just a herb, she even said that she don’t have ‘special eyes to see it’ Before we left she came to the table and give us $8 cash without any explanation or apology which we assume it’s for the chicken that got fly eggs on it. We got charged full price for our meal, when my friend didn’t even eat the salad.

To operation/ manager We came to the sands yesterday 30/8/2025 booked a table for 11 people. The service by the staff was perfect 100% and the food wonderfully cooked by Team in the kitchen. I would like to mention Heath . I don’t frequent the Hotel very often but when I am there I seem to be served mostly by Heath. His banter with us all and his friendly ,no trouble attitude is valuable in the hospitality industry . I have for worked in coffee shops and in retail for many years ( retired now) and I feel it’s important to acknowledge good people when we come across them. You have hired a good team, and it shows! .I know you probably can’t please everyone but for our table yesterday we all were very happy with the food and service . Please pass on to the people that worked that shift how hard they work & how lovely they all were! We will see you in late September for my birthday now !!! Thanks again for a lovey late arvo early evening meal ! Kind Regards Helen Harris

Was out last night despite a few tech issues, the staff handled everything really well. There were three guys trying to sort it out quickly, and the tall one didn’t catch his name but was especially lovely when I asked what was going on with the DJ which is what we came for. He explained the situation clearly and reassured us it was being fixed, which it was soon after. He even offered us complimentary drinks for the trouble we declined, but it was such a thoughtful gesture. Amazing staff!

Had a lovely mid-week dinner at the Sands. They had a good value steak and drink special that was delicious. The highlight though was the service. Steven was a standout, making us feel welcome from the moment we entered until we left. He really went above and beyond.

Went for lunch on Sunday with friends. Ordered Chicken Schnitzel, chicken was dry and like eating rubber. Staff very young, attention to detail lacking, my friend’s order, completely forgotten about. Trying to order drinks, the staff were slow and appeared disorganised. Food arrived quickly. Risotto and pizza and gnocchi were good.

Stopped in here before visiting Coochiemudlo. Was super excited to see American pancakes on the menu, so I had to order them. I requested the bacon be extra crispy and they made sure to do it, and the chef even came to confirm I was happy with it. Which of course I was, because it was super crispy and delicious! The only thing they could do to truly make it American pancakes would be to have one more pancake with the meal as in the US we normally have a stack of three. That being said, the two it currently comes with were filling enough, the three suggestion is just for further authenticity 😝 The flat white I had here was also good, and the staff were all friendly. Definitely check this cafe out!

We came here based on the high review score. Whilst reasonably priced it did not live up to expectations. The coffee was poor, the burnt taste of a machine that had not been cleaned. The mince was ok but could have had more flavour. Overall a disappointing experience.

So glad I found this spot! Came here with a friend after a sunrise hike. The breakfast was delicious, fresh and served quite quickly! The coffee was smooth and excellent, the staff were very friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was lovely and quaint! ✨

5 of us for breakfast and they were super busy on a Sunday morning but they still nailed the service. All the coffees were good (I’m a Melbourne boy, so a tad fussy about coffee) and my short mac was spot on. The mango smoothie was a bit bland and maybe throw in some passion fruit, or something with a bit of tang. The homemade savoury mince that I had was a ripper, left me wanting more and all the other brekkys were good….just maybe a muffin and one commercial hash brown with eggs benedict, both girls commented it was too rich and fatty with 3 hash browns in stack. Just a side note, maybe have a half size and full size big breakfast, maybe charge $20 for a half. Neither of them ate even half and it seems such a waste. It is a massive plate and the full one for $28 is great value. We will all be definitely coming back.
