Nestled in the vibrant heart of Parramatta CBD, Westfield Parramatta is a shopping paradise that beckons both locals and visitors alike. As one of Australia's largest shopping centers, it boasts nearly 500 stores ranging from major retailers to unique independent fashion brands and chic designer boutiques. Beyond just shopping, you can pamper yourself at various beauty outlets including hair salons, massage spots, and nail bars.
We had such an amazing time at the Iron Man meet and greet at Parramatta Westfield on 21st April 2025! My 3-year-old daughter was absolutely thrilled to meet her superhero in real life – her face lit up the moment she saw Iron Man. The staff were incredibly friendly and patient, and the whole experience was so well-organized. My husband and I were just as excited as our daughter – it truly felt like a fun family day out. The photo opportunity was fantastic, and we’ll definitely treasure the memories (and the pictures!). Big thanks to Westfield Parramatta for hosting such a wonderful event. We’re already looking forward to the next event!

Westfield Parramatta is one of the best shopping centres in Sydney, huge, modern, and packed with everything you could need in one place. The layout is easy to navigate, and the mix of stores is excellent, from high-end fashion to everyday essentials. The dining options are great too, there’s a wide variety of cafés, restaurants, and food court choices, whether you’re after a quick bite or a nice sit-down meal. The cinema is clean and comfortable, and the entertainment area makes it a great spot for families or weekend hangouts. Parking is usually easy to find, and public transport access couldn’t be better with Parramatta Station right next door. The centre also feels safe and well-maintained, with friendly staff and good crowd management even during busy periods. Overall: Westfield Parramatta is a top-tier shopping destination , vibrant, convenient, and always evolving. Highly recommended for a full day of shopping, dining, or just relaxing. 🛍️

Never ending escalator problem which is so inconvenient to go to the other end just to go up in 1 level. This particular escator as per photos below Woolworths has been like this for the last 3 months. I hope they will finally fix this.

I recently enjoyed a delightful tea-based drink at a cozy Australian restaurant, and it was a true treat. The aroma was calming, with a perfect blend of freshness and gentle sweetness. Served at the ideal temperature, it paired wonderfully with the warm, friendly atmosphere of the place.

The venue also boasts a foyer bar and courtyard for guests to relax and socialize. As one of the top attractions in the area, Riverside Theatres contributes to the city's cultural vibrancy by connecting artists with audiences and supporting education and innovation.
Watched snow white here. It was fantastic. The show was very entertaining for both kids and adults. Great cast. Seats were comfortable and staff here friendly. Only thing is parking is a bit further away.

Fantastic venue, a very friendly staff welcomed us into the theatre and pointed us where to go. We sat at level 1 right at the front which was such a good seat even though the website said it is a restricted view. We parked in Westfield and walked it to the theatre which wasn't long and was very well lit.

Oh my gosh, I went to see & Juliet and it was so incredible. It may just be the best musical I have ever seen. Inspirational cast, seating and setup, I definitely recommend.

Lovely little local theatre. Friendly service. Good selection of snacks and drinks but could do with stocking a champagne.

Excellent! Welcomed warmly upon arrival at the front door. Last night to see Juliet! Great selection of food / drinks. Just a wonderful experience! If there’s a show you like… book a ticket at Riverside Parramatta!!

Have always enjoyed watching different productions here. I like the cosiness of the theatre and also that it is close to many different restaurants in Parramatta. One downside is that the seats are narrow and in need of a refurbishment.

What a beautiful venue!! Have been here before but never reviewed this place. Went here again and attended the state ceremony. The venue is beautiful and right at the start of the eat Street. The theatre consists of three auditoriums with ample seating and a refreshment counter. Extremely friendly staff, will maintained theatres and really clean restrooms.

Koala Park Sanctuary Sydney is a 10-acre wildlife park featuring lush rainforest and eucalyptus groves, providing a home to various Australian animals such as koalas, kangaroos, dingoes, wallabies, emus, wombats, and native birds. The sanctuary offers numerous opportunities for visitors to interact with the animals through keeper-led presentations and photo sessions.
Cannot believe how amazing this place is. From outside it looks quite unassuming so we drove past it numerous times and didn’t visit until now. The animals are so lovely and interactions are simply magical memory. Even the cafe food are nice. Easily had a great relaxing time with animals in a natural setting.
Lei X — Google review
Much better than expected, great value. They have a good range of animals and several places you can pet the animals at no extra cost. Informative keeper talks and you can get up close to almost all the animals. The one star lost is that this place is not disability friendly. The pavement is old and uneven so wheelchairs and anyone unsteady on their feet may have a hard time getting around. The established trees name this place feel like you are in the remote bush with these animals, a great experience.
Upgrtan G — Google review
I had a lovely time, went by myself and stayed ~4 hours. The part that surprised me most was the staff, they were so very human. I've been to many wildlife sanctuaries where the staff are just worker drones, but here EVERY staff member will happily talk. Especially enjoyed the fact that they didn't "pretend to know" things, one lady even told me she wasn't sure of an answer to my question so she wrote it down on a notepad so she could research and know for future reference. I'm so happy to see young, passionate people in fields like this.
James D — Google review
Koala Park is an okay place to spend a couple of hours, but it’s not something I’d call a must-visit. The koala show was definitely the best part—the presenter explained everything very clearly and made it easy to understand, which was enjoyable. Apart from that, the park felt quite limited. There weren’t many other animals or activities to keep things exciting, so after the show, there wasn’t much to explore. It’s fine if you’re already in the area and want a short outing, but I wouldn’t recommend making a special trip just for this. Overall, a decent experience mainly for the koala show, but not much beyond that.
T J — Google review
The park is well mainitained. The map given at the entrance is bit confusing and seems odd at few locations but one can figure out by proactively walking around. There are nice information session conducted by the staff. There are nice activities for kids. They can feed the kangaroos and pet them. You can buy the food for kangaroos at the entrance. In case you have forgotten, there is ample food available in the kangaroos section. You can use that to feed them. Overall, a good experience.
Ahmad U — Google review
Amazing place that is extremely underrated. We had a wonderful time feeding the kangaroos, going for a walk with a dingo and taking photos standing next to the koalas. The grounds are neatly kept and the animals well taken care of. Would recommend to anyone showing overseas guests around who would like to have an up close and personal experience with Ausie animals.
Danielle B — Google review
Well worth the time to get here, great variety of animals, very friendly staff and reasonably priced. Attended the Koala talk which was a great opportunity to get closer to them. You can feed the kangaroos too which was very worth it. Cafe food was nice. Would definitely recommend.
Oli S — Google review
LOVED THIS PLACE! It was so cool to visit. You can see a lot of animals from this region. It’s like a zoo. You were able to feed the kangaroos and goats. I felt bad for the goats because they were neglected compared to the kangaroos as I personally would prefer to feed the kangaroos instead too, but I wanted to give some to the goats as well. It was so cool and fun to feed the kangaroos and they came up to you and ate the food out of your hands. There are also animal shows and you can see the koala bears. They let you get close to the koala bears, but you are not allowed to touch them per the Australia laws. There is also other showings of other animals and a café to eat at if you are hungry. The staff were nice and I was able to get there cheap with public transportation from Bondi Beach. I would definitely go again if I ever got back down to Sydney as it was a very fun experience and as someone said the place is underrated. You can’t expect it to be a nice big zoo and extremely organized, but the price that you pay is worth it if you want to feed the kangaroos and see koala bears and more. I’m so happy that I found this place on the Internet and went to it as it was an experience that I will never forget.

The shopping mall Castle Towers is one of the largest in the country and popular with locals and visitors alike. With over 112,000 square metres of retail space, it has a variety of trendy shops and restaurants as well as a food court and movie theater.
A large 4+ level shopping centre in Castle Hill connected to the metro station via Level 1 foodcourt, and the bus stop / Castle Hill mall via the two level 3 exits. Although there is lots of parking (6 levels)- the convenince of the metro makes it my preferred method of entering into Castle Towers. It contains a variety of supermarkets (mainly on level 1), food options (level 1 + 3 food courts, level 2 cafes, level 4 dining), entertainment (level 3) and boutique stores (level 1 + 2). It contains numerous lifts, ramps & escalators, making it wheelchair accessible. Enjoyed lunch at Mad Mex as well as browsing the offerings for Halloween. Would recommend coming by yourself, with friends and/or family!

Castel Towers is one of the large shopping centres in Sydney, Australia. Refurbishments to the shopping centres makes it look nice and modern. It has many retail, food outlets, other shops and plenty of parking spaces. The shopping centre is clean and well maintained.

Very close to Metro station. A huge shopping centre with lots of restaurants and a big Event cinema. A special Jurassic Park Rebirth promotion is now on, attracting many young families during the school holidays. Enjoyed lunch at Flower Child Cafe.

Castle Towers is my favourite one stop shopping centre. It has multiple entrance and exit points which proves very convenient, especially for seniors. It hosts high end shops like David Jones and Meyers and more affordable shops like Kmart, Target, Reject shop etc. You can also find electronics shops like JBHIFI and Apple. Lots of restaurants like Paparich, An Viet, Al Aseel and Taste of Shanghai. Also, food stalls like Sushi Hub, Oporto, KFC, McDonald, and Mad Mex. Heaps of cafes like Starbucks, Flower Child, Stanton, the Mill, Girdlers etc. For your banking needs, there are NAB, ANZ, CommBank and Heritage Bank. There are also Telcos like Vodafone , Telstra and Optus; mobile repair shops like ZoomFones, Happytel, Fone King. For your medical needs, there is Chemist Warehouse in the basement near McDonald. This building has lots of wheelchair access points via travelators and/or lifts.
Tim L — Google review
Great shopping centre in terms of the variety of stores available to shop at. Lots of food options. Parking is an issue- it fills up pretty quickly so better to shop during off peak hours ( weekdays around 10am) or before the school rush.
Candy P — Google review
Castle Towers has truly transformed since I was a kid. The thing that really sets it apart is the fact that the metro station is right inside the shopping centre. Honestly, that’s a game changer. It beats Macquarie Centre and Chatswood Chase, where you have to trek a fair way from the station. Having the metro at your door makes getting here so easy and stress free. The shopping selection is second to none. You’ve got all the favourites like RM Williams, County Road, and even Ralph Lauren (which opens in 2026). It’s the kind of place that’s perfect for a casual browse or a planned shopping trip. Plus, the dining options are top notch from cosy cafes serving breakfast and brunch to more relaxed dinner spots, there’s plenty of choice for the whole family. Speaking of families, the parent and child facilities are fantastic, I honestly think someone who’s a parent designed them! There are two fully equipped, modern parents’ rooms on every level, always spotless and close to lifts, which makes everything so much easier, especially when out with little ones. While I still like Chatswood Chase, the sheer convenience and variety of stores at Castle Towers make it my go to spot. Whether you’re after luxury brands or everyday essentials, this place has you covered. Here’s a quick rundown of the stores inside Castle Towers - Haigh’s Chocolate (perfect for sweet treats) - Peter Alexander (cozy pyjamas and loungewear) - JB Hi-Fi (all the gadgets and tech) - Apple Store (for all your latest devices) - Cinema (great for a family movie night) - Target (everything for the house and the kids) - Baby Bunting (instantly ticking the parent box) - Rebel Sport (for all your sporting gear) - A fantastic selection of luxury brands (Ralph Lauren, County Road, RM Williams and many more) It might have taken me a few visits to fully appreciate what Castle Towers offers, but now I can honestly say it ticks all the boxes for a family trip and best of all, you can get here without a car. Parking is available for those bigger shopping trips that need a 'family chariot,' though it can get quite busy during peak times but that’s pretty standard for any shopping centre. All in all, Castle Towers is conveniently located, utterly family friendly, stroller friendly, and packed with a brilliant mix of stores and restaurants. If you’re after hassle free shopping with a side of comfort and convenience, I’d recommend giving it a go. You won’t be disappointed!

The restaurant's prime location in the Piazza at the renowned Castle Hills Tower is indicative of its widespread appeal and esteemed standing. Its sleek, all-white interior design serves as its identifying feature, constantly drawing in a diverse clientele. This aesthetic also imparts a modern ambiance, instantly evoking thoughts of the Mediterranean. The Piazza boasts an array of dining establishments and ample shaded seating areas, including a second level. Furthermore, numerous benches and lush greenery contribute to its overall charm.
I absolutely love visiting The Piazza at Castle Towers. The variety of food options is outstanding, catering to all tastes and preferences, from gourmet dishes to casual bites. The quality of the food is consistently excellent, making each visit a satisfying culinary experience. The layout of The Piazza is thoughtfully designed, creating a pleasant and efficient dining environment. The open and inviting space, combined with the diverse food choices, makes it an ideal spot for both casual meals and special occasions. The vibrant atmosphere and high-quality offerings make The Piazza a top choice for dining in Castle Towers. Highly recommended!

I really love this place . The layout is exceptional with plenty of attention to detail that makes The Piazza very visually appealing. The areas are very clean ,compliant & well presented , amenities are maintained of a very high standard . The choice of above average restaurants & specialty culinary outlets is brilliant and includes my personal favourite Kinn Niyom plus another 11 locations on the street level and also The Bavarian on the next level (4) and some fun to be had at Strike , Holey Moley & i PLAY. Apart from the seating within the restaurants the outdoor seated areas are set in a truly stunning complex that makes you want to stay just a little bit longer or think about your next visit. This is just an honest review from a very happy customer. Definitely 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

It's an OK place to eat. Most of the restaurants are good/average quality although they're on the pricey side. Cost benefit ratio here is all about the place and atmosphere. Good for families, to have a chat and enjoy some food. You're paying for the place, not for the food as there are better options with more competitive prices just across the road but the place there looks old and unwelcoming. If you want to have a chat while dining with your family and you're not on a budget, then this is a good option if you're close to the area.

With the recent updates of new restaurants, the area is booming with a lot of people who want a booking and try out the new restaurants. Depending on the restaurant it is hard to get a booking. Parking is really hard on Friday nights and weekends particularly in the night. Since the recent remodel of the area it looks amazing and clean and has great vibes all around. Occasionally when it does have outdoor music, it can be a bit loud for diner's who are sitting outside

Sandwich shop
Harvey's Hot Sandwiches is a new American-style diner located in the $3.2 billion Parramatta Square precinct, offering a classic deli-style experience with generous portions. The menu features iconic sandwiches such as brisket and pastrami, philly cheesesteaks, and a flavorful meatball sub with garlic butter, marinara sauce, and mozzarella. The retro ambiance adds to the charm of this Grease-era inspired eatery.
Fantastic staff who are friendly and pleasant. I even had a staff member tell me the food would be out shortly since we were the only ones seated at the time. Sandwiches were delicious but the Nashville Hot Chicken was superior to the Philly Cheese steak. If I had only one complaint, the Steak sandwich was a bit sparse with the fillings and the pepper sauce is very bland. The fries are some of the best I've had, too. Would definitely return!
Scott — Google review
I’d heard about Harvey’s Hot Sandwiches, but had yet to explore the precinct at Parramatta Square. This was an excellent choice! Absolutely delicious sandwich, playing homage to some of the classic diner favourites, the French Dip is a must try. Fabulous interior, conveniently located to the station. Staff are friendly, and they have great recommendations if you need some kid friendly options too!
Alice F — Google review
Had breakfast here and ordered the $14 combo with the No.4 on the menu which was egg and pastrami. It was a massive hit. The only downside I would say is the size, quite small but packed with flavour! Hint: Add the hashbrown to the sandwich, makes it even better! The service was good, it wasn’t the usual busy store as this was around 10AM. It does get quite busy so plan ahead if you’re ordering here and you’re limited on time, especially around lunch time. Been a customer many times but first time trying breakfast. Definitely worth it.

This American diner-style joint located right outside Parramatta train station offers a wide range of sandwiches—including a Nashville Hot Chicken sub with three levels of heat: Hot, Damn Hot, or Flaming Hot. I went all in with Flaming Hot—spicy but totally manageable. The crispy buttermilk chicken, slaw, pickles, and comeback sauce all worked together nicely, with the tangy slaw and pickles helping balance the heat. The roll was a bit dry, but overall it was a bold and satisfying feed. Might try the beef dip next time if I’m back in Parra.

I recently had dinner at Harvey’s Hot Sandwiches in Parramatta and I have to say, it was absolutely amazing. I tried the philly Cheese Steak and the Pastrami Floppy, and both were incredible. The flavors were rich, the meat was tender, and everything tasted so fresh. Honestly, it was the best sandwich I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service was friendly, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re a sandwich lover or just looking for something delicious and satisfying, I highly recommend Harvey’s. I’ll definitely be going back!

Big shoutout to Harvey’s Sandwiches today 🙌 The food order this morning was absolutely amazing! We had fries, onion rings, a beef dip sandwich, a Philly cheesesteak sandwich, Nashville hot chicken (3 pieces), a cookies & cream milkshake, and an extra dill pickle on the side. Every bite was spot on 🤤 – the beef dip was such a fun eat, the Nashville chicken was juicy, succulent and the spice level was perfect, the dill pickle had that punchy tang I loved, the Philly cheesesteak was incredible, the milkshake was rich and flavourful (and easy to drink through the straw which I really appreciated!), and the fries were some of the tastiest, most satisfying shoestring chips we’ve had in a while. Special praise goes to the brother who served us at the counter 👏 Our order came out incomplete at first, but when we kindly asked about it, he didn’t just fix it straight away with the beef dip – he also hooked us up with an extra dill pickle on top of the one we ordered. That level of care and kindness really stood out ❤️ Thanks again Harvey’s Sandwiches – you made our afternoon, and we’ll definitely be back! 👍

Quite a few neo retro dining bars nowadays and if you stumble across Harveys you'll barley notice it until you enter. The sandwiches are great with occasional deals, the girls working there are incredibly friendly. Will definitely recommend visiting if you're in Parramatta square.
Samuel H — Google review
Not happy with my takeaway pastrami and egg sandwich today. I usually get this regularly, they normally put the right amount of crispy pastrami, the egg is cooked properly, and everything's well balanced. But today, it was overloaded with soggy, fatty bits of pastrami, the egg was unpleasant, and the bread was soggy. I wish I could return it. Definitely not something you want to eat on the go when you're busy working and need a quick, satisfying bite. I wont be back for a while. 😢

Malaysian restaurant
Temasek Parramatta is a simple yet popular restaurant in Sydney, offering a variety of Singaporean-Malay dishes such as nasi lemak and beef rendang. Despite being one of the lesser-known Malaysian-Singaporean restaurants, it is always packed with locals, especially during peak hours. The lunch hour sees tables filled with traditional laksa, while evenings feature luxurious banquets of chilli crabs, tender beef rendang, and satay skewers.
One of the best Malaysian food that I have tried in Sydney. The laska was my favourite as it had a very cremy and rich broth which soaked the noodles and toppings nicely. The fried squad and char keow tao were also very delicious.

Excellent Malaysian/Singapore food, very authentic. The service was great and the staff are very attentive. Google Maps lead us to their old location, the new location is across the road on the corner. Definitely recommend to make a booking.

I have been to Temasek for many years, taken a lot of relatives and friends here because the quality and taste is very much the same- top notch. Price is higher than your average Asian restaurant but you get for you pay for and so far impress our guest. Our go to dishes are their Hainanese Chicken which is lean and tender, Balacaan veggie and Ngoh Hiang. Also tried something new with Tahu Goreng which was very rich and creamy with their peanut sauce, goes well with the chicken flavoured rice. First time getting to sit at their new location for dinner. It is much more comfortable than the old restaurant and have more friendly staff serving which was great. Its the more reliable Singaporean restaurant in Sydney and definitely have to book for a table to avoid long wait, look forward to another visit here soon.

Excellent choice for Malaysian/Singaporean food in Sydney! Great traditional dishes that taste awesome with options to suit everyone. Hainanese Steamed Chicken is great and the Chicken Laksa is also one of the best around! A little on the expensive side for laksa but the taste and quality is definitely worth the try. Nasi Goreng, Kangkung Sambal and Black Pepper Beef are also excellent choices to have with rice. Do visit if you are after great comfort food in Parramatta!

We just visited Tamasek Restaurant and were so impressed! The boss himself took our order, then had one of his lovely staff look after us — such genuine hospitality. We had no booking and a couple of fussy kids, but they couldn’t have been more accommodating. They even made the laksa mild for the kids, and the roti was absolutely amazing — we finished every bite! They checked in on us throughout the meal and even offered the kids a treat at the end. We left feeling so grateful and full of joy. Highly recommend!

July '25 - called on a Friday to book a table for two on Saturday evening. We arrived on time and were seated promptly. This place has a very family-friendly, warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's an ideal spot for large groups and double dates. They are very busy, and the kitchen entrance can become a bit noisy with staff and customers coming and going. So, it's best to call a day in advance (and maybe, advise if you want a quieter table). That being said, the food stole the show. We ordered a mixed (vegetarian) entree ($14), a Prawn Laksa ($27.80) and a Beef Rendang Nasi Lemak ($27.80). Our dinner (read: generous portions) arrived fairly quickly as the wait staff was really efficient. For dessert, we had a Sago Pudding ($10). Top points for taste and umami. Stay blessed 🙏🏼

Unfortunately the food lacks authenticity and is extremely overpriced. The ayam percik tasted pre-packaged. Belacan eggplant was mushy. Most of our party had bad stomach cramps after. Will definitely not be returning.

white people version of singaporean dish. the price too holy. dont order their chicken rice, the chicken is very bland, the rice lacks the usual fragrance. overall so not worth the hefty price. char kwey teow was okay tho, not too bad, got the savoriness. the laksa was aight, bit mid. also ordered their curry puff, v mid, bit bland lacks the usual kick. got chicken curry as takeouts for dinner too, somehow after letting it marinate and sit in room tempt for a while the taste got abit better, not bad. would not come again tho

Celebrated a milestone birthday here and dined on the 3 course midweek special. Outstanding value for money and the food and service was first class. Will definitely be back.

What a wonderful venue for our daughter and her fiancés engagement party. We were allocated the upper dining area exclusively for the evening. Corey and his team were outstanding, they went above and beyond to make it a great function. Our drinks waiter was very attentive and on the ball all evening. Staff were very thorough checking dietary requirements. The food can only be described as excellent. All our guests were comparing the evening to a mini wedding. Thankyou Trevi for a wonderful time.

Fabulous as always! We went with family to Trevi last Friday evening (15/08) for my mum's birthday. We had the mid-week set menu which is now available on Fridays. It is very reasonably priced and was really delicious, fabulous service from the very lovely waitress who looked after our table, she was very professional, kind and attentive. Can highly recommend this restaurant, always great for a celebration!

Took a friend from interstate and had a terrible meal. The zucchini flowers oozed oil and filling was as like a paste. Hot pot was not like a hot pot at all and tasted like it was served in tinned tomato soup. It’s an expensive restaurant and the decor and atmosphere was non existent. Luckily it was nice weather with the lake to look at. We were on plastic chais with chewing gum and bird poo under our table, hadn’t been for years and definitely won’t be back.

I really really wanted to love this place and was hoping to find a nice fine dining restaurant without having to travel to the city. We tried the degustation and whilst it was nice the flavours overall was underwhelming. One of the issues was they were incredibly slow, I understand when you do a tasting menu it can be slower but the pace was ridiculous and we had to chase up our food a few times as the gap was so long. A few of my friends were gluten free and their first dish did not come out until we had finish 4 dishes. For the price you pay I would give the degustation menu here a miss.

Trevi Lakeside has a lovely location with great views, which really sets the mood. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff were polite and helpful. That said, the food was a bit hit and miss. Some dishes were tasty, but others felt a bit bland or underwhelming. The service was a little slow, and the wait times made the experience feel a bit drawn out. It’s not a bad spot, especially if you’re after the views, but there’s definitely room for improvement on the food and service to make it a stronger choice.

We had a lovely dining experience tonight at Trevi. My husband and I had the three course midweek menu, and my son had the spaghetti with seafood. It was all delicious and I especially recommend the veal medallions and the twice cooked pork belly. Good sized portions as well, and good choices for kids meals. Will definitely visit again.
