Yeppoon Lagoon is a must-visit attraction in the heart of Yeppoon, offering a fantastic and free experience for visitors. This 2500 square-meter swimming pool features shallow sections and an infinity-style edge that provides stunning views of the Keppel Islands. Families can relax on the grassy areas while enjoying the lively atmosphere with locals. The lagoon is designed for all ages, providing a resort-style experience with its expansive infinity pool overlooking the ocean and Great Keppel Island.
We absolutely love Yeppoon Lagoon! It’s great for people of all ages and abilities. The pool is wheelchair accessible I believe, the toilets and showers are always clean and it’s patrolled by lifeguards. All around a great experience- don’t miss it if you’re nearby!
Nanja H — Google review
A must visit if you're visiting Yeppoon. Free entry. Stunning infinity pool with varying depths across the pool. Life guards on duty. The on-site cafe was closed on the day we visited. Could do with a bit more shade around the place, but other than that, the place is brilliant. Clean toilets and showers.
CarolynA ( — Google review
Wow, what a beautiful place. Kept clean and clear. Plenty of life guards overseeing which was great to see. Water this time of year was freezing however I braved it. Great views .
Gavin W — Google review
Absolutely beautiful lagoon with crystal-clear water and stunning surroundings. Perfect spot for relaxing, swimming, fishing or just enjoying the natural beauty. A peaceful escape—highly recommend visiting!
Nathan N — Google review
Highly recommended. Online tourism websites helped us to discover the Yeppoon Lagoon. We stopped in nearby paid parking and walked around the pool area, which appears very well designed and landscaped. Volunteer lifeguards were on watch and a few swimmers were enjoying the cool water. With views over the ocean to the Keppel Islands, this free swimming precinct is a great community facility.
Greg T — Google review
A Stunning Spot in Yeppoon! Yeppoon Lagoon is an absolute treat! The ocean views are breathtaking, and the lagoon itself is beautifully designed and perfect for relaxing or cooling off on a warm day. It’s such a lovely place to visit, whether you’re swimming, enjoying a stroll, or just soaking in the scenery. A must-see when you’re in Yeppoon!
Narayana A — Google review
Wow what a great place to swim. Free entry Awesome view. Pools so clean and lots of lifesavers to keep everyone safe.
T M — Google review
Neat and clean swimming pool with life guards on duty. Paid parking just in front of the pools but free 2-hour parking close by just past the pools.

Restaurant
Vue Wine Bar & Restaurant in Yeppoon provides a relaxed and contemporary dining experience, offering indoor and outdoor seating options. The menu features modern Australian cuisine with a focus on gourmet delights such as pizza, pasta, twice-cooked duck leg on truffle mushroom risotto, and aged Kilcoy rib fillet. Additionally, the restaurant offers live music and New Orleans-inspired barbecue at Pie Alley Blues. With beachfront views of the ocean, Vue is an ideal spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Fantastic food! Didn’t even order any entrees, went straight for mains and some sides, was so good we didn’t even have room for desert. Awesome atmosphere with good music, servers were lovely, food was pretty quick, and were happy to let us take our food to go. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in town!
Hannah — Google review
We walked in early on a Saturday night. Ordered a pasta dish and the Tomahawk steak to share between the family. Steak cooked to absolute perfection! Couldn't be more happy for a cut of steak like that to be cooked like that in a normal restaurant. Pasta and drinks were good too. Side of honey pumpkin was impressive too. Would return.
Samuel W — Google review
We visited Vue for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant has a beautiful look and feel. I love their menu presentation, so beautiful. There was nice music playing to add to the atmosphere. The staff were perfectly attentive. We were seated within two minutes of our arrival and the flow of staff interaction from that point was really well timed and very friendly. The wait staff all seem quite young but are obviously well trained. There is an open kitchen so you can practically see your food being prepared which I really enjoy. We shared the cheesy garlic bread for entree which was certainly cheesy. It has a luscious bruleed cheesy mozzarella topping and a subtle garlic flavour. For mains we both chose pasta. I had the seafood linguine and my husband had the pasta carbonara. They ask if you wish to have the cheese on the side or top which I thought was a nice touch as some don't appreciate cheese and seafood, I love the combo. My pasta was well cooked with a good amount of seafood and just a touch of chilli. The only downside of the night was the dessert which was disappointing for $17. We had the gooey chocolate chip cookie. It did not match my expectations. It was two warm cookies on a plate with ice cream and a sauce drizzle. The description was a peanut butter butterscotch sauce and praline. We had no praline on our dish and the peanut butter flavour was not present. I also enjoyed a coconut mojito which was perfection. I loved the flavour. All in all we had an enjoyable night.

Very nice Italian food delicious! Tried several dishes here and we will go back when we visit Yeppoon.
Elmira E — Google review
Pizza under cooked and absolutely revolting couldn’t risk eating it as I would have gotten food poisoning that is a fact. Seems that this establishment gets a lot of complaints about the management and their attitude. Funny how they seem to get the final say. Health department needs to pay a visit. Absolutely disgusting. I hate your restaurant.
Finn N — Google review
Great lunch. The lamb pizza was so good and very generous size. The service was also great with a very pleasant staff member who made us feel welcome. Yeppoon also turned on the weather, so the beachfront view was a bonus.
Michelle C — Google review
Visiting yepoon for a weekend and ate here on 24/7. We ordered the tomahawk steak with a few sides. We requested the steak to be medium but it came out basically blue. Luckily for them I don’t really mind it being on the rarer side but my pregnant partner was disgusted and could not eat it. Friends we were eating with ordered steaks too which were undercooked aswell. We all tried to eat what we could as we all don’t like complaining about food. All the other food was nice though.
Jaydon T — Google review
This was my First time eating at this beautiful and cosy restraunt. It would be a perfect place for a romantic dinner date. I went with a group of friends and we all had beautiful meals. I forgot to get a photo of my oysters kilpatrick, they were delicious. The Panna Cotta dessert I had was devine. They staff were friendly, and the meal & mocktail I had was well worth it. Definitely would return to try the scallops next time.

I was served by Ms Indi twice and this is my 3rd time visit this place. She always serve the customers with her sweet smile and good very polite. Actually all the staff there were very friendly too.

The drinks were fast, and the food was nicely done. The chips were well seasoned and crunchy, as well as the tortillas. It may be a little overpriced, but not overly so. There was a bit of a mix up from people moving tables, but I liked that the server checked in with us at the table to make sure they had our orders right and nobody was missed. I sat on the large padded bench, which was comfy; the wooden chairs looked less so. The music they had playing was loud, but it wasn't hard to have a conversation.

Egg & mushroom Benny on gluten-free toast was delicious 😋 mismatched decor adds to the eclectic/rustic fisherman's hut feel. Outdoor seating right on the corner of the esplanade so soak up the sun while enjoying the local atmosphere. Coffee was good, staff were attentive and polite. Bit pricey but big servings!
Karla V — Google review
Relaxing, great when shady and windy. Toasty was nice and crispy on the outside, creamy and savoury on the inside. Very enjoyable. Coffee was good too.
Spikefire — Google review
Big breakfast was awesome and portion size fits the price. Haloumi French toast with poached eggs was good too. Salad grain bowl was okay, however disappointed that $8 for add on chicken, I only got 4 pieces of small cut up pieces. Truffle parmesan fries - fries themselves was really good but couldn't really taste the truffle. Staff were nice and place has a really nice vibe and decor.
Joanne P — Google review
Tacos had no seasoning… extremely bland which is a disappointment, it was ground beef as well not pulled or anything so it could’ve been as easy as a seasoning Sachs from Woolworths. Strawberry Matcha also tasted like milk. Getting a sense that ethnic foods might be difficult for this place since the burger fries and chocolate shake we got were all nice. Overall didn’t enjoy what we ordered and wish we kept walking a bit further down, however I’d suggest to anyone eating here to stick to breakfast menu or the burgers.
Tahlia — Google review
The food here was amazing, especially the one with prawns and cheese, would definitely come back for this dish. 😋 Good to have a nice time at the main beach and come to this café for a nice meal and drinks.

Yeppoon Main Beach is a vibrant and convenient destination, stretching from the Yeppoon Surf Life Saving Club to the Keppel Bay Sailing Club. The colorful walkway between palm trees offers a picturesque stroll, with opportunities to spot vocal black cockatoos. The beach has received significant investment from the local government, evident in its well-lit and bustling atmosphere at night.
A nice quiet beach. We enjoyed walking through the park. It has interestingly designed toilets and ample picnic areas. This is a good place to bring kids; they would love the kraken.

Very nice beach and a lovely play area for children, easy access to the beach from an array of stairs. There is a very moving ANZAC memorial above the beach.

Yeppoon main beach has been lovingly decorated with pavilions, bbq huts, a stage and other amenities by, I’m guessing, the local council. It really has been done very tastefully and has an impressively professional look about it. The built environment, promenade and amenities nicely frame the beach and ocean in this beautiful spot. Enjoy!

Licking the plate! That’s how good the avocado with prawns was—I nearly embarrassed myself before my wife stopped me. This café truly deserves five stars. The presentation of the food was beautiful, the flavors were spot on, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the friendly staff, and the service was excellent. Every dish we tried was fresh and full of flavor, but the avocado with prawns was the standout—perfectly balanced, delicious, and beautifully plated. If you’re looking for a place with great food, a lovely ambiance, and top-notch service, this café is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

We had lunch yesterday at Flour in Yeppoon and it was fantastic!! The staff were so friendly and perfectly attentive. I had the salmon bruschetta which was a very generous serve with a great amount of topping. The cream cheese was nice a creamy, not too thick, the smoked salmon was very generous and the salad with it was a great mix. There was a little smattering of the most delicious pesto in there as well. All at our table enjoyed their meals and drinks. There was a fantastic assortment of cakes and things in their cabinet as well that all looked delicious. Thanks for an awesome meal.

Had an amazing night with friends at The Rocks in Yeppoon last night. They have half price on the bar menu on Monday and Tuesday nights at the moment. Amazing value! They were very busy so if you plan to try I would definitely book. The food came out in great time and was so fresh and everything was delicious. Hard to choose a favourite but the baked camembert with honey was possibly my pick, so oozy and delicious. https://www.therocksyeppoon.com.au/

Had a great lunch here. Good service and some interesting dishes. The 2 of us shared a couple of starters and two mains. All were excellent with some great flavours. We liked the use of the indigenous ingredients. The view across to Great Keppel Island was fantastic and we paired the food with a dry French Rose. The Red Emperor main and the Quail starter were fantastic. The cheese and beetroot dish was stunning and the pumpkin pasta was a great dish to finish on. Good stuff .

The Strand Hotel in Yeppoon is a popular modern pub offering stunning ocean views and outdoor deck seating, including a beer garden, bistro, and nightclub. With over 60 years of history, it's known as the best oceanfront pub in Central Queensland. Whether you're looking for a cold beer, delicious cocktails, or tasty meals to accompany your drinks, The Strand has something for everyone.
Stayed in Yeppoon for several nights and popped in to this establishment 3 times. Nicely renovated with pleasant beach views. Their nightly specials are great value. We had a parmy with chips & salad & glass of house wine for $25 (from memory so give or take a buck lol). It was delicious! Bar staff were good. Ash who co-ordinates meals is friendly, accommodating and very organised. Heading back tonight for another special!

Service was nice and very accommodating. The food however was a let down. Extremely over cooked steak with no seasoning. The vegetables were suitable for an aged care facility. Chips were good but they are hard to stuff up. Beer was cold

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! 1/10, Overpriced FOOD - Terrible, My husband is a Steak Conisour and the best thing on his plate was the Salad!!!! Plane Cold Chips (0 seasoning) UnSeasoned Steak and didnt even get given a fork. Also the worst lemmon lime bitters...somehow taste like a liquified Cinnomon Stick -Pizza was a whole block of cheese with a sprinkle of ham. Somehow they managed to Burn the Edges while leaving the underside of the base doughy....Didnt even finish it and not even worth a review. SERVICE- It Doesn't get any bettet here, Unfriendly, blunt staff who didnt make me feel welcome. Ordered 2 Drinks Via QR Code, and they brought out one and made me ask for the other one, to which they said I Never even ordered. So had to show recipt. ATMOSPHERE- Only good thing in this place is the Long Glass window and this Crab Painting. Our Second time coming here ( after the first time left us equally dissapointed, we decided to give it one more chance) and our very last visit. Not to mention this Experience cost us $69 we will never come back again.....

Had a great lunch today - the fish was fresh and delicious with a crispy light batter, kids burgers were tasty (and free with the Sunday promotion kids eat free). Had a table inside, with air conditioning and a lovely view of the waterfront. The service was outstanding- super friendly, helpful and genuinely lovely!

Been coming here for years but it’s definitely gone down a bit. I only ever write positive reviews but I’m making an exception. I recently dined in. I booked a table but no one was there to greet us so we found our own reserved table which isn’t that much of a big deal I’m pretty easy going. One of the meals was wrong but after awhile was corrected. I ordered the fettuccine carbonara which had no taste. I will say the espresso martini was nice and the new area outside looks great. Probably won’t come back for a meal.

Nestled in the heart of Yeppoon, The Alley is a delightful gem that enchants both locals and visitors alike. Created by the talented duo Leah and Ben Crowley, this charming eatery embodies their vibrant personalities and the relaxed vibe of the area. Formerly known as Pie Alley Blues, The Alley serves up breakfast and lunch daily, with dinner options on select evenings—especially lively on Fridays and Saturdays when live music often accompanies your meal.
We absolutely loved our visit to The Alley — easily one of the best spots we found on our trip! We tried a range of dishes including the fish and chips, pork cutlet, Betty burger, fried chicken, and the baked brie — and every single one was absolutely delicious. The food was packed with flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. It’s rare to find a place where every dish is a winner, but The Alley delivered on all fronts. The location is fantastic, and the atmosphere has a great coastal vibe — relaxed, vibrant, and welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at ease. We were also lucky enough to strike up a conversation with the owner, who was incredibly friendly and passionate about the café scene. That personal connection really added to the experience and made it even more memorable. If you’re ever in Yeppoon, The Alley is a must-visit. Great food, great people, and a place we’ll definitely return to.

Great cocktails and spot to drink but food left more to be desired. Came here for dinner and got the: Peanut + chicken noodles bowl 7/10 - Quite flavourful and delicious Sweet corn Alabama salad 6/10 - A good mix of ingredients, but not super filling for the price. Betty burger 3/10 - unfortunately can’t recommend. Extremely dry burger patty, and chips were cold and soggy. For drink the coconut and spicy marg were delicious and the espresso martini and blue drink were pretty good too. Some enjoyable items overall, but overall the food left a bit to be desired.

My friend and I ordered the exact same drink, yet mine was noticeably smaller and missing the usual garnish. It felt careless and made the experience less enjoyable. Consistency and fair service should really be improved. But food were so great

Honestly a pleasure all round. Had the smoked salmon pokie bowl and it was divine. Probably close to my top 10 meals I have ever had in my extensive lifetime. The staff were relaxed and casual but prompt and efficient. Perfect place to relax, eat, drink and enjoy.

We ordered the chicken strips with hot honey. I can’t fault the taste but to be honest that was a starter sized portion at over $20 and I was still hungry afterward. Being out of pocket and still peckish…nah!

Absolutely the best coffee in Yeppoon and all the lands! The Alley has such a quirky, welcoming vibe — it’s one of those places that just feels good to be in. I love going there to socialize with friends, watch live music or drag shows, or simply sit out the back with my sketchbook or laptop while enjoying a delicious cup of coffee. The food is just as amazing — always fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. It’s the perfect spot whether you’re after brunch, a treat, or just something wholesome to go with your coffee. Warm, artsy, and completely unique — there’s really nowhere else quite like it.

Takeout Restaurant
A large group gathered at Thai Takeaway and ordered a variety of dishes and entrees, accompanied by coconut rice. The food was delightful, with friendly service that made everyone feel like old friends. A karaoke machine caught their eye, resulting in hours of singing and a great time for all. The menu featured popular Thai dishes such as tom yum, chicken pad Thai, red duck curry, and beef pad khee mao.
I had a great meal with friends yesterday! We got a green curry, a chicken with veggies and cashew nuts and some snacks and was all delicious and fresh. I’ll recommend!
Frandeben — Google review
Yes the service is alittle bit lacking though give young people a go. As for The restaurant and presentation it was great. Very clean, organised and easy to walk in from off the street. It had some authenticity feeling about it which was nice. I spend a lot of time and have lived in Thailand for many years. I don’t generally go out for Thai in Australia though my friend really felt like Thai. So here is the breakdown…. We ordered fish cakes which were flavoursome, garlic/pepper chicken stir fry (chicken tender, vegetables crisp n fresh and sauce delicious. Tom Yum goong (salty, sour n sweet and so so fresh and the prawns 🦐 were of great size. Tom Kai seafood simply irresistible. The creaminess of the coconut soup and touch of sourness was so nice. Sitting out front with the sea breeze was an added bonus. For Thsi food in Australia and location l would give it a 7/10…

I got this Thai style fried rice, it’s flavourless the taste isn’t the same with the normal Thai restaurant, and i asked for very spicy i just got normal spicy, the price is expensive too for the type of fried rice they served.
Gita C — Google review
Food was good Thai flavours. Well priced and BYO. The service was a little lacking but that did not interrupt the delicious flavoured dishes. The spring rolls were tasty, the minced chicken salad was very flavoursome and the prawn dish was great. We are on holidays and will most likely have another dinner here.
Jillian C — Google review
We ordered takeaway vegan pad thai, and they had confirmed it was vegan twice. When we got home and I started eating the food, I noticed there was egg throughout the meal and had to throw it away and went without any dinner. I wrote to them right away to no response. This happened twice so the next time I was in town I physically went into the shop. I spoke with the owner and she said she would refund me $15 only for the 1 meal. Disappointed with the service, there was not even an apology, just a quick cash payment of $15. Had there been good customer service and the whole $56 bill be refunded in way of an apology for my inconvenience I would have felt better about my experience there. It’s just lucky I don’t actually have an allergy.
Peita W — Google review
The wrong meal was served but partially replaced with raw veges and almost cooked prawns. The same sweet sauce was given with entrees and mains even though the descriptions were different. The staff were not friendly or able to discuss the problems shrugging and saying I'm not the chef. The worst Asian meal we've ever had.
Adrian L — Google review
We were visiting from up north and we wanted Thai for dinner. We were amazed how good the flavours were. They were so authentic. The Massaman beef was the best I have ever tasted.

Very underwhelming! Nothing like Thai food at all. It is like the Thai you would feed at a retirement home. No chilli, no flavour, no freshness. Do yourself a favour and try elsewhere. Very disappointed

Shopping
If you enjoy shopping, don't miss the opportunity to visit Yeppoon Central Shopping Centre, which is considered the best place to shop in the area. The size of the center fits well with its location and offers a diverse range of stores that can cater to most shoppers' needs. It features two prominent tenants, Woolies and Big W, as well as several places where you can relax and socialize with friends over a cup of coffee or a meal.
Nice centre Clean and tidy. Had plenty of options to shop from. Parking underneath.

One stop shopping. Air conditioners and spacious. Good variety of retails.
Giuseppe S — Google review
I think the size of the centre suits the location. It has enough of a mix of shops to satisfy most shoppers. Two anchor tenants being Woolies and Big W. A few places to sit down and have a catch-up with friends over a coffee or meal. Enough underground parking with a travellator access and it's clean and well serviced.

Bakery
Baked On 44 French bakery and delicatessen is a charming spot that offers a delightful array of pastries, pies, saucisson, cheeses, and other delectable treats. The pies are particularly noteworthy for their unique flavors and high-quality pastry. While the prices may be on the higher side, many find them justified by the exceptional taste and effort put into crafting these goodies. Visitors also praise the friendly staff who provide excellent service with a smile.
Beautiful bakery with a good variety of baked goods and sandwiches. Service was great and prices are reasonable. The plain croissant is good value for money at $3. There is also some seats outside if you want to enjoy your goods as soon as you leave. Highly recommend.

Baked on 44 is by far the best little bakery. I am possibly the biggest croissant fan, having tried them in various cafes all over Australia - Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Darwin, Brisbane. Despite this, no one makes croissants like Baked on 44! 10/10 you must try their selection

Wonderfuly curated foods. Sandwiches, pastries, juices, ready to go meals and the best charcuterie and cheeses on the coast. Pies are excellent as are the sausage rolls, both next level. Spoil yourself now.
Adam D — Google review
The pastries were alright but lacking a wow factor both very sweet but lacking depth of flavour a little surprised by the high rating this place has so maybe I just went on an off day. The service was very friendly and they had good variety.

This is by far the best french bakery I have been too since travelling around Australia. Melbourne has some good ones but not this good The pastries are too die for so soft and fluffy I would highly recommend The apple turnover and a Portuguese tart

Never thought I'd find this cute little French Bakery in Yeppoon. Great little variety of pastries, not so much variety in cakes, tarts etc but parties were bang on!! Only thing they should sell coffee, but I'm not going to take points off for that cause the pastries were 😇😇😇

RV park
Located just one kilometer from Yeppoon's main shopping strip, Beachside Holiday Caravan Park offers a convenient and picturesque beachfront location. Visitors can enjoy stunning sunrise views over the beach and easy access to nearby attractions such as Great Keppel Island. The park features clean amenities, friendly staff, spacious parking areas, and well-maintained facilities including cooking kitchens. Guests appreciate the helpful and knowledgeable staff who enhance their overall experience at this top-rated caravan park.
Stayed here for 2 nights in early September. We stayed at the BC7 non-powered site, and there was a couple of curlews nesting an egg between the BC7 and BC8 sites. We were told that curlews usually use the same exact spot for nesting, and that there was another nest on the other of the campground, so if you ever stay please watch out for curlews nest on the ground. It is also illegal to move wildlife of course, the nest are super hard to see as the eggs are usually camouflaged.
Lenka H — Google review
Quaint older caravan park between beach and main road. Has all the usual facilities, but somewhat tired and dated, especially camp kitchens and toilets. Most sites can accommodate larger vans and tow rigs, some have slabs or ground mats. Road noise can be annoying for sites backing onto the road as there is no effective screening. Very easy access onto the public beach with great views towards Keppel Island.
Peter P — Google review
Not a bad van park. However , unless you are on the second or third site there is no wifi access. Also not happy with the late check in due to staff needing to “blow” off a van site. Can happily say there were still leaves and dirt on our van site so perhaps just a money making scheme there. All and all not bad
Haley C — Google review
We stayed here 14.7.25 - 19.7.25 . A nice park very close to the beach . The sounds of the waves crashing of a morning was 👌, the shower / toilet facilities were very clean and well maintained . Staff were very friendly and quick to lend a hand if needed. Only thing I could pick on haha was there is only 1 space to check in and when busy clogs up the road. 4.5 stars out of 5 stars . I would recommend this park .
Brett O — Google review
Rang to book an easily accessible site was told no problem, there was not a beach front site available but could offer one row back. (There are only two rows of the caravan park). On arrival we were guided to a staff must assist site. (Not easily accessible) we were instructed to park less than 1 metre to the next caravan and the off side of our van running parallel to the road. We were subjected to extreme road noise. The site was tight up against an access gate point again advised by management needed to be kept clear for the comfort of all park patrons. Our draw bar missed the entry to the gate by less than 250mm, although we clearly advised the length of our van at time of booking. Mia in reception was very clear about dont's for our stay and at the end of her don't list wished us a pleasant stay. Toilets were acceptable along with camp kitchen. Great spot to walk on the beach or access township of Yeppoon, we won't return.
Jenny — Google review
Great location and close to walk into town. Good amenities and nice big space for van. Not piled in on one another. Can be noisy on weekdays from 5am due to main road. Otherwise really happy and would stay again.

Had a fantastic experience at Keppel Bay Sailing Club! The meals were absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was spot on, and the views were simply stunning. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy great food by the water. I hear it’s been recently renovated — it definitely shows! Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in Yeppoon.

What a great steak. 200g eye fillet, medium rare, chips & veg. I can't remember the last time I was able to say this, but the steak was absolutely perfect. Although at $42 for 200g, it was expensive. Full credit to the chef, you did a great job. We also had the small fish of the day topped with extra calamari. Fish was disappointing, the calamari quite nice.

We dropped in for a late lunch and shared a steak sandwich, which was so good that we decided to book a table for dinner. The view was beautiful, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. For dinner, we enjoyed oysters Kilpatrick to start, followed by the beef rib and crispy skin salmon. The meals were generous in size, cooked perfectly, and served with homestyle veggies that really hit the spot. The rib was tender with an incredible sauce, and the salmon was just as impressive. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Yeppoon.

Partner and I went for dinner last night, ordered the seafood platter. Food came out relatively quick for how busy they were on a Saturday night. Massive platter. Seafood was all delicious. Some chips were basically all that left over. Staff were excellent. Beer was cold. Enjoyable experience.

Excellent customer sevice venue with seaviews for any occasion. Cafe, bistro, other rooms and bars. No pokies! Lift and disbled toilets. Reservations or walk ins accepted. The seafood platter sounds very tempting to share with a group.

We went for dinner - seems like a good local watering hole. I had the cabanara, which was tasty and great size for the smaller one. My partner had the club burger which he noted was super delicious. Our friend had the fish which was a bit tasteless, but also the stuffed mushrooms which were tasty.

We started early in the morning and enjoyed the short walk up to the summit. The downside was the persistent mosquitoes biting everywhere, so don't forget to bring your bug spray. The trail is easy and well-marked. It only has one bench at the top with no shade at all. The park has ample free parking, a picnic area, and decent toilets. After the walk, you can also explore Kemp Beach by walking or biking along the coastal road.

Gorgeous place to walk. It's a nice little hike (just 20 min uphill) and then you get to enjoy some fabulous views of the ocean and the Keppel islands. I walk there every week and it's always gorgeous. I recommend good closed in shoes as there can be snakes up there (just stop and they will gently slip away).

The views were absolutely breathtaking, the trail was nice and easy, and seeing sea turtles was such a special bonus!
Nataliia K — Google review
Approx 2.5km circuit from the car park. Locals use this track for exercise so there’s usually always someone else around although never too busy. If you walk clockwise, the track is quicker but more steep. Counterclockwise is longer but more of a gradual incline. The views from the summit are beautiful.

A great place to explore with a round trip walk to the top for stunning views. Tables and chairs great for a picnic and BBQ available for cooking. A path down to the beach. Toilets near the start of the walk.

Very nice walk, not particularly hard if you are reasonably fit, a bit of stair climbing and the track edges along the hill, but safe with the appropriate footwear. My husband and I both had steak for dinner which was amazing. Cooked to perfection and great quality meat, the mushroom gravy and mash/veg was really nice aswell. Unfortunately the service was a bit slow and the bar was not always attended so you had to wait for someone to come and serve you. Otherwise a great meal.

Steak was amazing, but disappointed when paying $48 and getting packet mash potatoes as the side dish. Absolutely disgusting experience. Two out of five meals came out with HAIR in the food – beyond unacceptable for somewhere charging $130 for dinner. To make it worse, the Coke was flat and tasted like it had been sitting open for days. For the price we paid, the quality was shocking and honestly insulting. The ambiance at Alfies Chow Down is fantastic and stunning, while the personnel are friendly and hospitable. They even offer a complimentary serving of popcorn. I ordered their Korean fried chicken ribs which were enjoyable and had a pleasant level of spiciness. However, I believe the portion size could have been more generous considering the price. Overall, it's a lovely beachside eatery that I would highly recommend for an evening outing.
I was super eager to try the new Asian style menu and it did not disappoint. The food was all delicious and fresh. You can order at your table using a QR code which I personally love as it gives you the opportunity to change you mind last minute without feeling awkward which I tend to do🤣. You can also order at the bar if you prefer the personal interaction. The food is served family style and is served as it's ready so it's nice and hot and not sitting around waiting for other items to be ready. We had quite a few dishes and I was so full, couldn't quite make it through everything but luckily had my dessert stomach tucked away because oh my goodness that dessert was SOOOO GOOD! I'll start with desert, we had the Viet Coffee Panna Cotta. It was sublime and so beautiful. The Panna Cotta had that perfect wobble. It was a bit sweet for my husband's taste but I thought it was amazing especially when you had a little of everything together. The coffee jelly is intense which I felt offset the sweetness perfectly along with the Pandan crumb and that little bit of chocolate aero was just delicious. We tried the Asian greens, prawn toast, pork dumplings, fried chicken sando and citrus chicken karage. I think my favourite was the chicken karage which is chicken ribs but they had so much meat on them. They were juicy and delicious with a great crispy coating. The Asian greens were so good too especially the tasty little pieces of mushroom, yummy. It was all very good and as I said very freshly made and served. The service is friendly and efficient and the decor and atmosphere is nice and relaxed. I'll definitely be back to try some cocktails and some of the other dishes.

I went there last Saturday with 3 friends. We ordered the foods all together at the same time. However, only one friend got the food after 20-25mins. Then another 10 mins later, other food served, then another 10 mins we got the 3rd food. We were not sharing the food, so it was quite awkward to have our own dishes. Two guy friends have already finished their dishes, and I still haven't gotten the food after 45mins. We tried to ask the server and keep the patient, although all the staff seemed not to care at all about we waiting for such a long time. Even though I was very hungry, I didn't want to pay for this bad service restaurant. So I asked for a refund, and they did for me "without saying sorry." They really seemed not care about customers at all, haha. Honestly, even though I didn't have any food there, the price was extremely expensive for what you can get from there. My friend got ramen, with 3 pieces of chucky pork. And costs more than $25 something. Hope you don't delete my review. Otherwise, I am writing again to inform everyone who doesn't deserve to serve like this bad quality of service 👎👎 Hope everyone chooses the right places

This place is a must try when in Yeppoon. The service was great and food served promptly. The Pixi Kiss cocktail would have to be my favourite cocktail of all time, highly recommend it if you are a watermelon/strawberry lover like myself. As for the food it was all PERFECT and fresh! Only thing I regret is not trying more on the menu as I was already full. I can’t wait to come back next time I am in Yeppoon.

Good food but I think the prices are just a little high, at least for the items we choose, and they could benefit from being a bit more descriptive in the menu in terms of if a roll/wrap is hot or cold. The pearls in the bubble tea we had were sweet and delicious but the Taro flavour was so light that it almost tasted like water. Staff were polite. No prices listed on their pastries, just nice to know what something costs before you buy it.

The service was not bad considering how busy it was. We were warned with the waiting time for food but they came out sooner than expected. Sandwiches were rushed but favorites were alright. The beef & pickle toastie was good. Nice coffee. The Banoffee scroll was definitely the highlight.

Delicious food and fantastic service! We had breakfast (mushrooms on toast with add ons and French toast). The Asian flavours added a new dimension and a tasty twist to old classics. Well done to chef Liam and the team!

Atmosphere was amazing and beautiful and staff were welcoming and nice. They give you a complementary bowl of popcorn too. The item i got was the korean fried chicken ribs and it was nice and was spicy to my liking. I think the serving size could have been a bit more however considering the price. A beautiful place to eat overall by the beachside and would recommend for a night out here.

Great idea for a spot in Yeppoon to have a bakery / cafe like this. The menu has the usual breakfast/brunch options and some tasty sandwiches as well. Unfortunately we were a bit let down with some of the dishes served up here. First off - the chips that were described as having “cheetos” salt were $9 and came on a small plate. I get cost of goods and needing to make a profit but this felt like it was pretty expensive to me - there wouldn’t have been more than 20 chips on the plate and there was no cheetos salt which was the reason we ordered them in the first place. The sandwiches were ok - the Italian hoagie we got was described as coming with peppers. I’m not sure if the definition of peppers up here however we received a slightly pickled capsicum vs what I would call peppers. It would have been nice having something slightly acidic to balance the meatiness of the dish out (like guindilla peppers for example). The bacon on the BLT was epic. Super salty and cooked to a nice crisp. I would say though the. Read holding the BLT was comedically large and not something you could eat easily. We were super keen to try the bottomless filter coffee but this wasn’t ready (at 11am) and we were told it would take 15-30 minutes for it to be ready. The waiters and cashiers here were lovely and the atmosphere was breezy. I’m definitely keen to come back and try but there a few things that need improving before giving out 5 stars.

Not much of a shop front but the service and food certainly made up for it. My husband and I decided to try Beachside 66 for the first time today and we're so happy we did. The food was cooked perfectly, nice and crispy and not fatty. We also received a little more than we ordered. We'll be back. 😀

I stayed at the caravan park opposite, so it was great to have hot chips as an option for dinner if I couldn't be bothered to cook. Good chips, Australian chips aren't a patch on British chips but pretty good.

Bought hot chips. 3 serves easily filled the 4 kids we had with us. Quick to be served and have our food even with it being slightly busy. Will go there again.

Had a family breakfast a Beachside 66 today. Honestly one of the best breakfast meals we’ve had. The eggs Benny were cooked perfectly and the hollandaise was delicious. Pancakes perfect and the coffees were on point. Great value with generous portions and cooked perfectly. Will definitely return.
