Massive outdoor sculpture marking a country music & gift shop with an attached coffee cafe.
Suck a great stop. Information center. Museum which is reasonably price. Great collection of guitars. Staff friendly and a nice Cafe.
Jeff U — Google review
As far as "big" things go, this is one of the better ones. Genuinely big, and has a solid information office and wax museum as part of it (although I didn't go to the wax museum so can't comment). Pretty much mandatory when visiting Tamworth.
Angus W — Google review
It was a bit of a disappointed to be honest. They have built large food outlets and a super cheap auto nearby and have taken away from the symbolic guitar that stands tall for Australian country music. It’s just a trashy big thing that we want a photo under. Progress has certainly ruined the experience for me. I remember that there was grass around the guitar not it’s a carpark.
Ali ( — Google review
Location is crap, smashed between fast food places and a hotel. Tricky to get a decent photo as you are standing in a car park. The information centre seemed alright Staff were very friendly, and there is a wax museum which you can explore for a small fee.
Krystal M — Google review
Great place to stop by and gather brochures for your trip 🤍
Chen C — Google review
Very busy area ( carpark in-between kfc, zarrafas and maccas) but cool to see
Hayley K — Google review
It's a large Plastic guitar. Pretty straightforward really. Located outside a Country and Western Museum on a main road. The roar of trucks, 4WDs and traffic is not my idea of ambience, but not much can be done about that. It just overall was like "oh yeah seen the big guitar". Got in the car and kept going.
Annastacia P — Google review
Excellent staff, many brochures available for many parts of Australia. Some keepsakes but the highlight had to be the $10 to walk around a waxworks museum of country artists and then a guitar exhibit. And all out of the rain. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute.

Cafe
Hopscotch Restaurant & Bar is a versatile establishment that caters to families and large groups, offering a combination of cafe, kiosk, bar, and restaurant. Situated next to the Tamworth Regional Playground, it's an ideal spot for family gatherings and casual meals. The menu features an array of breakfast favorites, vibrant vegetable-packed lunch bowls, hearty burgers, sandwiches, and wraps to satisfy diverse tastes.
Highly recommended breakfast and lunch place in Tamworth. The atmosphere, food, service...everything is good everything. Freshest food and bread. My favorite are chips, gluten free pumpkin bread made in the cafe and hashbrowns. Ice lattes are unbeatable. For all travelers passing through town there is summer splash pad for kids next to the cafe. The kids have a ball there. The open air gym adds to the fun. I keep coming back for more.
Nidhi K — Google review
Went here for breakfast and was quite disappointed… the atmosphere and staff I talked to were friendly and lovely it was just the food that threw it off for me. I ordered their “Turkish Eggs” as I saw labneh was in the dish and got excited to try it, but when my dish came it was a puddle of vanilla yogurt. - or at least tasted like it as it was super sweet for something meant to be “garlic infused”. (The photos are me trying to show it looks a lot more like vanilla yogurt than a thicker Greek yoghurt and when compared to an even thicker labneh) I thought it might’ve been a mix up so I asked to waitress to check with the chef. She said to me that it was meant to be that way and it was Greek yogurt and to these words exact “he said without the fancy name it’s Greek yogurt” … this left me quite annoyed as a Turk I knew that wasn’t what labneh is, and I wasn’t sure whether the chef was clueless as to what labneh was or if they were trying to pull one over me hoping I didn’t know what labneh is. Labneh is strained yoghurt making it super thick and spreadable id say it’s a similar texture to cream cheese but sometimes even thicker as it’s more dried out - it doesn’t always have a garlic taste but it is possible. It’s usually drizzled with olive oil and tastes almost sour, like tangy and acidic. It was a bit upsetting as I did believe the chef was hoping I didn’t know what I was talking about, I can imagine them serving something with a berry compote with it just being warmed up milkshake syrup to the chef saying “without the fancy name it’s berry syrup” The food was completely inedible, as It’s hard to eat chorizo covered in vanilla yogurt. - I recommend changing the description on the menu, or tasting that yoghurt as it’s definitely too sweet (tasted like vanilla/honey) and shouldn’t be labelled as “garlic infused” or even as “labneh” to make the menu sound more sophisticated and authentic. Ontop of this the poached eggs were way too runny, the outside looked lovely but on the inside it was watery and inedible so I just had to eat my toast, hash brown, and wipe the yogurt off of the chorizo. - my chai latte was a unique blend but was a little too sweet and a little too cold. I think this was just my personal experience - and I’m being extra harsh and somebody that works in a kitchen and was raised with Turkish cuisine. I’m sure the rest of the menu is great, but I couldn’t help but say something!
Brianna K — Google review
Nice spot with a relaxed environment that makes it easy to settle in. Food leans on the pricier side, but quality is good. Tried the hummingbird cake - fresh, moist, and delicious. Overall, a solid choice in Tamworth for a sit-down bite.
Gary P — Google review
Whenever I’m in Tamworth for work (often these days), I will always eat at least once at Hopscotch. Having been introduced to it by local colleagues a few years ago, it has become a firm favourite not just for me but a number of my Sydney and Newcastle workmates. Usually being there for breakfast, nothing I’ve ever ordered has disappointed. They do a great coffee as well, and in the warmer months it’s so nice to just sit there and take in the ambiance of the park surrounds (and admire the local puppers who visit with their owner regulars!). Most impressive of all is the service given by one particular young male member of staff which is nothing short of excellent. I’m not sure of his age but the first time I visited he seemed quite young - he was all over it regardless and has just gotten better with time (I’ve seen in other reviews that many agree with me!). The manager is warm and friendly as well, as in fact is the whole team. Hopscotch is a great way to start your New England day - highly recommend.
Paul J — Google review
We came here for brunch on a Sunday. It was packed to the rafters. I have to say that the staff were stretched and it showed in the food and beverages service. Prices reflect the popularity of the place. Those in the know would go to Cosy Toasty instead, but its Sunday...what is a person to do!
Wi S — Google review
We went there for brunch after long travel from Armidale, ordered two same food and two juice. Waiter told us it was fresh juice We got juice almost immediately but unfortunately juice was not fresh, it was bottled mixed juice with couple of ice cubes. We waited 45min for just egg and toast and didn’t get the food. We were only customer there at that time. The cafe was not busy. Not a good service at all. Don’t recommend anyone.
Geeta S — Google review
Hopscotch Cafe you never disappoint us. It’s been four years since we were last here in Tamworth. Incredible food, loved the crunch on the corn fritters, generous serving of avocado and loved the fruit and nut toast and espresso. Your wait staff are professional and attentive, especially Liam. Well done.
Robin S — Google review
A disappointing experience here today. Unfortunately our waiter missed placing an order so one of our party didn't get to eat until an hour after we all had. Had to communicate with the manager who sorted us out straight away as our waiter just couldn't seem to do it. Annoying you have to escalate what is an easy mistake to fix. Food and coffee were good and excellent location for the kids to play next door.

Park
Tamworth Regional Playground is a must-visit for families with kids. The playground offers various play areas, including water play, climbing structures, and giant slides to keep the little ones entertained for hours. Additionally, there are picnic spots and barbecue facilities available. Adjacent to the playground is the Hopscotch cafe where parents can grab a coffee and a bite to eat. The soft fall covering makes it safe for kids to play, but some suggest adding more restroom facilities or expanding the existing ones.
One of the best playgrounds I’ve visited, great for both kids and adults. Nice cafe close by, water play area and some mammoth slides/play equipment!

Really enjoyed our visit here. Has been several years since we had the opportunity to walk down this way on our trip to Tamworth. This was definitely a nice surprise. Not sure if the Cafe is doing as well as it could according to local reports but didn't get the time to sit and make our own decisions on this though. Beautiful spot all the same and striking distance to Peel St to pick up whatever other foods for a picnic. Fabulous venue for the kids to explore outdoor activities. Such a range to experience. Even an outdoor activity section to use body weight equipment to improve your fitness levels. So good. Kids could spend a good few hours here as the parents wanted to BBQ or just relax. Plenty of man made shade and trees. A bit of history at the other end of the park with more clean public toilets available there.

A very impressive park for all ages with all the facilities any family needs and a lovely cafe nearby! Looking forward to returning on our travels through!

It's definitely one of the best playground and kids friendly nature parks in Australia! Our boys love it so much! Highly recommend for families with small and/or big kids!
Cathy M — Google review
Absolutely fabulous park. We came across it when waiting on our new car. Spaces for all aged kids to explore, unique equipment, cool sandpit. There are bbqs, plenty of shaded areas. Even a cafe on site for the adults or kids with meals, snacks, coffee, etc. You can either eat in the restaurant or take away to the park. Further along there was also an exercise area with fixed equipment. Great space to stop if travelling with kids and need a break.
Suzan W — Google review
What an incredible park and playground for kids, playing along with a forest of millions of Bat - flying fox. Slogan on board says "living with flying fox" Lots of playground set up with giant fun slides, swings and flying fox ~ super popular Don't forget the amazing looking and popular cafe on site next to playground. Tons of 3P Parking next to the park available with disability parking as well. Strongly recommended.

Wow what a great playground! More than that, it's like someone said 'pick all your favourite things about every modern playground and put them in one place'. It has a Cafe, undercover picnic tables, sand pit, equipment for all ages, water play area, street parking, shade, great landscaping and green spaces. Great work Tamworth council. I want one of these in Wollongong!

Their food never fails to disappoint. Some or most on the menu I thought were overpriced although I don’t mind spending money on food lol. Service otherwise 10/10. Definitely recommend if you visit Tamworth.
Jrmy T — Google review
Good venue, such a shame about the food. It’s concerning when it literally takes 2 mins for your meal to arrive after you order. It was pre-cooked and reheated and arrived lukewarm. When I sent it back they simply reheated it yet again and it came out so dry it was inedible. The food was definitely not fresh and the salad was so old the tomatoes were turning. I’ve been here twice and I definitely won’t return.

Had a really great fresh meal here on the peak weekend of the Tamworth Country Music Festival. We sat outside and the staff were friendly & accomodating, my salmon was beautifully cooked with beans crunchy (just how I love them), hubby’s calamari was good too. We’ll be back to try more of the menu.

On arrival, we were impressed with the architecture inside and out. What a beautiful building. Inside, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming and made you feel at home instantaneously. Was impressed with the cocktail and wine list. Plenty to choose from. The menu was quite diverse and there is definitely enough to tease your pallet. The food was amazing. Tasty and cooked to perfection. Overall, was a really nice night. Well worth your time and money. If we are ever back in Tamworth, know where we will always go for a delicious meal and amazing staff 👍❤️

Tamworth Shopping World is the largest shopping center in the city, offering a wide variety of shops and restaurants. From fashion to electronics, it has everything you need. The center also features a cinema, making it an ideal spot for a night out. With convenient parking and clean facilities, including wheelchair access throughout the stores, it's a great place to shop. Additionally, there are essential services like Woolies and BigW available.
I recently visited the Tamworth Shopping World, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience that catered to all my shopping and dining needs. The center is well laid out, making it easy to navigate, with plenty of parking available, which is always a plus. For practical shopping, the presence of Big W and Woolworths is a huge bonus. Big W has a great selection of affordable clothes, toys, and household essentials, while Woolworths is perfect for grabbing groceries or fresh produce. It’s super convenient to be able to tick off both everyday necessities and indulgent treats in one trip. The food court is another highlight. It offers a range of dining options, from quick bites to sit-down meals. I was impressed by the variety — everything from sushi to fresh salads and indulgent desserts. The seating area is clean and spacious, making it a comfortable spot to recharge after a few hours of shopping. Overall, Tamworth Shopping World is a well-rounded destination with something for everyone. Whether you’re running errands, hunting for the perfect gift, or just wanting a relaxing meal, it’s a place I’d happily return to time and time again.

Outside parking (high vehicles) is very tight and often fills up pretty quickly. The centre is always clean but parents room has been pretty gross a few times I've been. The cleaning lady there was pretty rude. Sweeping under my sons chair as we were still eating.

Had a very enjoyable breakfast. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly which surprisingly a lot of cafes seem to struggle with. The coffee was also good.

We went for breakfast this morning Sunday 23rd Feb. Ordered flat white/ tea/ bacon and poached eggs/ workers roll. Rude child serving. She was smug, and condescending. Boy who delivered our meals should not be allowed to have customer contact. Rude. Coffee was hot and delicious. No bacon came with bacon and poached eggs. Eggs were so hard and dry. Didn’t bother asking what happened to bacon. My roll was below standard too. Egg was fried into oblivion. I gave some my bacon to my hubby. Poorly presented. Order not correct. Rude children staff. Coffee nice. Expensive for what we got. Do better and presentation and being nice is everything including not wearing daisy dukes shorts. Having a 12 year old girl tell me I’m welcome!! Smarty pants. Do better

Professional and excellent service, food is of a high quality and reasonably priced. Staff are easy, friendly, helpful, always happy and willing to talk to you. The food was absolutely delicious, and we felt truly pampered by the attentive service from the team, who worked seamlessly together. The overall vibe of the restaurant was lively and energetic for TCMF 2025. However, the decor seemed a bit off, leaning more towards Spanish than Vietnamese.

Chinese takeaway
Marigold Inn in Tamworth offers fantastic cuisine with a friendly and attentive waitstaff. The restaurant boasts a charming ambiance, although it may be slightly more expensive compared to other Chinese establishments. Nevertheless, the quality and quantity of their dishes make it well worth the price. Background music would enhance the dining experience. Additionally, Marigold Inn provides efficient service, ample parking space, and a well-stocked bar for patrons to enjoy. Clean facilities ensure a pleasant visit.
Don't give your hard-earned money to any other Asian restaurant in New England. Drive for hours if you must, and pay for the best at Marigold Inn. This gentleman buys the best ingredients, treats every customer with the same respect, and lives a relatable life. Dining on site is great, and take away is better than any similar experience elsewhere.

Lovely food, came for lunch, ate too much. Came back for dessert after dinner. Best banana fritters yet. Enjoyed Jenni’s banter.

Used to be alright, But now wouldn't rate much plus they increased the prices!! Not worth the $$. The service had one waitress trying to serve however many people and she didnt even look like she wanted to be there.. Also if you want to take your leftovers the plastic containers cost you a $1 and you have to put the food in yourself...

My family was visiting Tamworth and this restaurant was recommended by the local. The staff were welcoming and attentive. The food was tasty and fresh. The ambience was full with exotic detail. Very good restaurant and highly recommended.

Best steak I have had in Tamworth so far. Very juicy, soft and easy to chew. But the potato on the side was not seasoned very well, could be improved if there’s salt and pepper in a grinder on the table. Pre-grounded pepper powder just don’t have that kick you need for potato and steak.

Steak and ribs cooked to perfection. Sauces were mint. Money well spent. Cannot recommend highly enough. Rolling out of here in a stupidly happy food and cocktail coma.

Sensational food and great steak last night. Unique ordering system, done via a tablet. For an out of the way place, the food was excellent and priced well for the quality. Staff were lovely.

This place is amazing, even a year or two later. The kids meals are so massive, loved the mussels in peri peri, the steaks were perfect, giant prawns were immaculate. If youre in the area it is so worth stopping. Thanks again for your hospitality and we cant wait to cook at home with the peri peri sauce available to take away. Youve outdone yourselves this time x

Fine dining prices but you get handed a tablet to order which is clunky, feels like a takeaway chain. Ribs were massively overcooked, dry and stuck to the bone, you only get one side included so it doesn't even look like a meal on the plate, unless of course you pay even more for extras. No one asked how my meal was, had to ask for water, if you're going to charge what you do get rid of the tablets and do better.

Day 2

West side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the west side side of town. Start the day off with Tamworth Square, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to The Powerhouse Motorcycle Museum. All together, your day would be filled with about 8 hours of non-stop fun.

The Square has a good variety of shops large and small. There is spacious car parking or you can usually get a park on the street. There are plenty of access points from the carpark and the street. There are clean toilets and parents room. Wheelchair bound and disabled people are catered for from parking to access to toilets.

A rather small complex. Kmart is handy, but whoever owns/ manages this square should pull there finger out and fix the damn escalator. Has fantastic parking facilities, but the entry in on the escalator has been fudged for a while.

Basic run-of-the-mill shopping centre. Huge 'L' shape layout. No chance of ever getting lost in here. Sushi store in this centre is most definitely the best in town. Long term empty stores here that have been vacant for over 18 months... Huge potential here for expansion and a makeover. Difficult parking with minimal cover. This is the type of centre you visit out of 'need' not 'pleasure' Anchor store Coles has one of the most peculiar layouts I've seen...

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Tamworth, the Capitol Theatre Tamworth stands as a beacon for performing arts enthusiasts. This modern venue, managed by the local council, is renowned for hosting an array of touring musical acts, comedy shows, and theatrical performances. Located on Level 1 of the Centrepoint Shopping Centre within the Entertainment Quarter, it recently unveiled its new Capitol Bar—a cozy spot where visitors can unwind with a selection of beers, wines, spirits, and soft drinks alongside delicious gourmet snacks.
A variety of entertainment. Not a bad seat in the house. Friendly and helpful staff.

Saw Ian Moss for the Machbook 30th Anniversary show. While the show itself was fantastic, the handling of the foyer and bar could do with a rethink. Its absolutely ridiculous to make everyone scan in with the COVID safe app, then make everyone crowd into the foyer in each other's laps and wait for the bar and show to open. Definitely need to be more streamlined.
Boxyoyeah — Google review
Great venue, but seats are very smaller for larger people, so when you have larger people on both sides, they bulge out under & over the arm rests and you have to sit there with arms stretched forward. 1 lady said she literally had to work her way into the seat and can't get out until the end, as it was embarrassing for her.

Movie theater
Forum 6 Cinemas in Tamworth is a modern multiplex venue located in a shopping center, offering the latest big-screen movies including both 2D and 3D options. The cinema boasts state-of-the-art facilities and a great Candybar selection featuring old favorites like popcorn, choc tops, and lollies. Visitors have praised the cleanliness of the theater and pleasant air conditioning during their screenings.
Had a fantastic experience at this cinema last night. The staffs were incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. The service was quick, and they handled everything with a smile. Definitely one of the best cinema experiences I’ve had—highly recommend!
Bob C — Google review
It's a decent cinema for a rural city. I wish it was a little more modern with some more unique showings, but I understand that the cost would most likely lose them money. What I will say is that the staff are excellent every time, and they make you feel very valued as a customer. It's worth the 5 stars, but . 5 Stars with some hope of some modernisation.

Disappointed with My Experience: Minecraft Movie Session, April 8th at 7:45 PM I was really looking forward to seeing the new Minecraft movie, but I left feeling frustrated and let down by the cinema’s food policy and how it was handled. I bought my ticket in person while clearly holding my dinner, which was a simple container of rice. I even purchased popcorn and a drink at the same time to support the cinema, as I didn’t want to seem disrespectful. The staff member who sold me the ticket saw the food I had with me but didn’t say anything about outside food not being allowed. When I went to enter the cinema, I was stopped and told I couldn’t bring my food in unless I either threw it out or left it behind the counter. While I appreciated being given the option to leave it there, I hadn’t eaten all day and needed something more substantial than just popcorn. I’ve never had a problem bringing food like this before, and it fit neatly into the cupholder without causing any disruption. The experience left a bad impression, and I ended up asking for a refund, which they did provide. I didn’t bother requesting a refund for the snacks I bought, though looking back, maybe I should have. Instead, I went home and watched something there. Having policies like this is understandable, but the inconsistency and poor communication make the cinema feel unwelcoming. If staff can see someone clearly holding food when purchasing a ticket, that would be the right time to explain the rules, not when the customer is already on their way in. I’m not giving this a one-star rating because I was given a refund, but I do hope this feedback encourages better customer service in the future.
Luke R — Google review
Unfortunately, my experience in Cinema 3 was below expectations due to the poor picture quality. The projector seemed to have serious issues: the image was washed out and out of focus, making dark scenes almost impossible to see clearly. Throughout the film, there were noticeable jittering and ghosting effects, which really took away from the immersion. It’s disappointing when my TV offers a far better viewing experience than the cinema.

Centrepoint Tamworth is a generously sized shopping center with a good selection of shops and a spacious food court. It offers ample parking and wheelchair access, making it convenient for all visitors. While the variety of stores may be limited, the premises are kept clean and tidy. Additionally, the center provides easy parking with the first two hours being free. Visitors can also enjoy a wide range of dining options and excellent dental services within the vicinity.
A large spacious shopping centre, spacious being the word. There is a good Foodcourt and a few good shops, there is ample parking and wheelchair access. But there is never a crowd there, at least on the times or days I go there.

This is a good shopping centre, not too big, with plenty of variety of stores, cafes and a food court. Easy accessible as its street level and parking is out on the street and can be tricky at times, especially on a rainy day. Clean, bright and good atmosphere in the Centre. Love where it is situated as it faces the main street where the shopping area is, which gives you more variety. Would highly recommend a visit when in Tamworth

The Courthouse Hotel in Tamworth underwent a major renovation and reopened in September 2020, offering a delightful country pub experience. The venue boasts various spaces for patrons to relax with a drink, including indoor and outdoor dining areas, a sports bar, public bar, and a family area equipped with soft play equipment. The extensive drinks list covers wines, beers, and cocktails while the bistro menu features traditional Aussie pub classics alongside more upscale options using locally sourced produce.
The food was great value for money. The staff were very nice and prompt. The trivia was a bit boring, but that’s probably because we placed last. And it was a really cool vibe. Well done!

We went to the Courthouse for a meal Friday night, great. I ordered Beef Rib Roast, looks great in the photos right, but no. It turns out to be a lump of slow cooked fatty lard, discussing to look at, no beef just gristle and fat, oh and a token rib bone chucked in. This cost $37. The waiter walked past and asked, how are your meals pretty fatty, even before I could open my mouth, he said I’ll find out what’s going on! We didn’t see him again. Very disappointing, never again will we go there again.

Absolutely loved this place, met with some professional clients to discuss business and the atmosphere was perfect. Food and drinks were better than a standard pub venue and of a very good quality but the real highlight for me was the exceptional staff. The manager and all staff were immediately lovely with 3 different staff saying hello or asking if I needed anything before I could even sit down. Will 100% make this a must visit each and every time I am in town for work. Thank you for being so hospitable.

We popped in today for some Lunch and we were not disappointed. Starting with the arancini, we moved on to the roasted vegetable salad and the short ribs. The service we received was excellent and very friendly. The pub itself is lovely. With a huge beer garden out the back and plenty of seating inside, there is room for everyone.

Some staff were great but others average, not all that friendly and would forget bar orders. Really expensive drinks here - over $15 for a schooner? What the. Food was nice though. Live music was good.

Friendly staff but one of our meals was very disappointing, looked great but the Braised beef rib was all fat n gristle the accompanying vegetables were good. Waitstaff commented when collecting plates seeing what was left " Too fatty I'll let kitchen and staff know" before we made comment...No one came to see us to discuss. Can recommend the meatballs..delish

If you're seeking an authentic Italian dining experience, look no further than Papa Luigi's Pizza & Pasta. This charming restaurant draws inspiration from the Vitalone family's beloved Nonna, aiming to recreate the warmth and comfort of family gatherings over delicious meals. As you step inside, you'll be enveloped by a cozy ambiance that transports you straight to Italy. The menu is a delightful showcase of traditional wood-fired pizzas and rich pasta dishes that are sure to please any palate.
We had a delightful dinner at Papa Luigi’s Italian restaurant (located just outside Tamworth). Despite the bustling Friday night crowd and our lack of reservation, they promptly seated us. We ordered the following : - [ ] Pene all'Aglio - Garlic Bread with Cheese - [ ] Salt & Pepper Calamari Fritti - [ ] Char grilled broccolini and asparagus - [ ] Parmigiana di pollo - [ ] Ragu di manzo - [ ] Gelato (Lemon sorbet and Butterscotch ) - [ ] Panacotta All dishes were cooked to perfection. The standout? The Char Grilled Broccolini and Asparagus. Even the sides were impeccable: the chips were crispy and well seasoned while the side salad had a simple but delicious olive oil dressing, adorned with fresh balls mozzarella. The Service was fast, attentive and friendly. Papa Luigi’s is highly recommended!

This was a disaster I ordered a Lasagne, 1st way to my oil, I had to drain it out just so I could eat it, 2nd 1 clump of mince through the whole dish, 3rd was half cold and half lukewarm wasn’t warm or hot. Not very happy with the 13.50 I have paid for this meal will not be eating there again 👎

Well, I won't be doing that again. I loved Papa Luigi's when they had the restaurant in Peel Street. Not loving this takeaway shop at all. I've bought from them 3 times now and this will definitely be the last. Bought a takeaway Spaghetti Bolognaise today to have for tonight's meal. What a disappointment. Heaps of 'coloured' spaghetti but the bolognaise was sadly missing. Three or four tiny bits of mince no bigger than my finger nail and it was dry as. I simply couldn't eat it.

Amazing friendly staff, very family feel to this place, we were so pleased to be invited out the back where they grow their fresh ingredients and have a beautiful set of picnic tables with umbrellas for shade, the menu had a great variety, pizzas were fresh and well made, we also brought a pasta that was great to have as well. Very yummy, we will be back next time we visit Tamworth. Thanks for the hospitality, your staff are well mannered, and always asked if we required anything else to ensure we were happy with everything, they also overheard us speaking and mentioned we can order half half pizzas as we it was too hard for us to choose which one we wanted the most, this gave is the pleasure of trying more flavours haha thanks!

Ordered the supreme It was disgusting, gagged while eating it due all the low quality deli meat atop of it, could not finish a slice. Everything was diced terriblely, massive chunks of capsicum and all in a pile in the center, learn to spread toppings on a pizza please The base has zero structure, I haven't had a pizza more floppy anywhere else, impossible to eat without dropping the toppings off the slice Will never order pizza here again.
AzzacASTRO C — Google review
We arranged our entire trip based on eating at this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. We had pizza n pasta and a couple of beers. Pizza dough was so fresh and the toppings were plentiful and had flavour. Pasta was great too. Both meals were nice n hot and were a good serving size. Hayley looked after us and both owners, Luke and Johanna, stopped by our table to say hi. We also liked that the background music was just that, in the background so we could hear each other talk. Highly recommend you out this restaurant on your “to-do” list when you’re next in Tamworth.

I've heard that Teamo Teahouse is a time-honoured stop not only for travellers but also locals of Tamworth and now I understand why. First of all, the owner is easily reachable as she is always there ensuring the quality of everything that they serve, they have very friendly and efficient staff, a cozy and cute space at the back, and they serve delicious food in very generous portions and their coffee is a must! Beautiful texture! What an excellent service, will definitely return!

Very rude dismissive customer service, came in before close and was told there were no drinks available.. in a tea shop.. boiling water and a tea bag is too much effort 5mins before close? Edit: reply - you are in a customer service hospitality based industry, and my experience as a potential customer were as I mentioned. There are a lot more awesome places that care about their customers so I will frequent their businesses instead 😊
Dean O — Google review
We had breakfast here and the coffee and tea were good and came out super fast. It's a shame about the meals; after explaining to them that I had an appointment, the toasted sandwich was a reasonable time but they used reconstituted chicken on the chicken, cheese & tomato toasted sandwich. Then my Eggs Benedict with avo and mushies was another 15 minutes after they bought out the toasted sandwich and the avo was borderline off. I also requested hollandaise sauce on the side but it wasn't. Needless to say, I was late for my appointment due to this. Tamworth is a major centre, there is no reason to use reconstituted chicken, and if we'd known we would never have ordered it. To your response; when we entered you said to take a seat and you would come and take our order. We chose a table and sat down but no one came out to take our order so I walked back in to order. You called your young assistant as you were serving coffee and I particularly mentioned my appointment as I only had 30 minutes. There was one table of 2 in the restaurant just finishing and one other couple in the whole place, but you were taking coffee orders from the takeaway window. If you think that was busy I'd hate to see the place full or really pumping. Fair enough about the chicken. Frozen chicken isn't that appetising either, maybe that's why he thought it was reconstituted.
Sharyn J — Google review
I've breakfasted here before when it was excellent on all criteria. Last Wednesday at 9.00am, the sausages and onions were burnt - while it wasn't particularly busy and there were 3 staff on, it seems the owner's absence until we were leaving made all the difference.

Mexican restaurant
Zambrero Tamworth is a vibrant and inviting fast-casual restaurant that specializes in fresh Mexican cuisine, offering an array of delicious options like burritos, tacos, nachos, and bowls. With a strong commitment to health-conscious dining, Zambrero also features vegan and gluten-free menus to cater to diverse dietary needs. I ordered 3 burritos, one was celiac and the 2 lady’s that served me (I think they said their names were Page and Ruby) had amazing customer service, super friendly, and helped so much and communicated with not only each other but me as well and they were also super friendly and patient with my children who were a mess at the time. Thank you so much I will be coming back. Best Zambreros!!

I've been converted! I never really ate all that often at GyG, but now it's strictly Zambrero! The online ordering is my favourite, Just really navigate the menu, pay and arrive at the prescribed time and food is always ready to go. Love the healthier twist that Zambrero offers and the portion sizes are great value for money when compared to the competition. Whether ordering online like I do or visiting in-store, it's fairly quick and easy and when in-store your can see the food being dished up right before you, as is done at Subway. Enough indoor seating at the Peel St store and plenty of nearby parking for picking up orders. Stupid me for taking so long to make the change, wish i did it earlier. Is it cheaper than the competition? Not exactly, but bang for buck is so much more evident and I'm happy spending the money here. Can recommend adding the signature salsa to anything for an extra healthy kick. Really like getting the nachos loaded up with all the trimmings. My wife has quite a few food intolerances and we're able to eat here with the options available. Yep, love it.

Just ducked in to grad a quick and easy dinner. Was 7pm went to order they had no rice, no beans, I essentially ended up with a chicken salad salad. I understand that the poor kids only allowed to give an exact serving of each item but seriously he could have at least attempted to fill the plate considering the ingredients that they had run out of

Thank you to Paige and Ruby for the burritos. Great work girls! They deserve a raise!

I'm saddened to write this review but I feel it's necessary My partner decided to get us Zambrero on his way home from a work trip. He drove from Tamworth to Guyra with the goods and all seemed well. Unfortunately, neither burrito was correct. Luckily it's purely preference but if either of us had an allergy to the omitted (then added on incorrectly) ingredients then we wouldn't have been able to eat our meals. A lot of time was spent removing a large portion of the once filled burrito (I hate waste but it was necessary). The lovely sticker they put on the burrito to inform people what's on it (at least the meat/non meat) was not filled in, which was annoying but not the end of the world. Then after digging through the burritos we found incorrect ingredients in both. Also added ingredients, which aren't cheap, were simply not there. We've have Zambrero a couple times, this was the the worst experience.

Restaurant
Nestled within the Best Western Sanctuary Inn, the Riviera Bar & Grill offers a delightful culinary journey inspired by Mediterranean flavors from Italy, Spain, and France. This charming eatery prides itself on using local ingredients whenever possible, with both pizza dough and pasta crafted in-house for an authentic touch. Diners can kick off their meal with enticing seafood or antipasti options like saffron butter poached prawns or fresh Sydney Rock oysters.
What an incredibly friendly vibe this place has! I love walking into somewhere and the staff are immediately your friends. Big shout out to the lovely ladies Hayley and Rebecca for their great service and incredibly welcoming style. Also the pizza was perfect, devoured the entire thing and didn’t leave a scrap on the plate. Which was due to the balance of a perfect crust and decent amount of toppings (which did seem a little under compared to the photo that sold me on the meatlovers but I’m not complaining) The wine was very nice too. An all round great dinner, but the staff is what really made this weary travellers evening.

Wow. Best meal in Tamworth by far. Jake and the the team were the most welcoming people we have met too. Amazing local Angus steak. Beautifully cooked hand made pasta with prawns. The kids loved the pizza, but the real winner was the kids bolognese. Hand rolled fettuccine and the slow cooked meat sauce. I would have been satisfied with a bowl of that after a taste.

Beautiful restaurant. Food, service, everything. We accidentally paid $50 more to the waitress, and she, as soon as she noticed, came back and brought it to our attention. Very honest 🙏
Yuliia H — Google review
We had a very disappointing experience at Riviera Bar & Grill. Despite the restaurant not being busy (only a handful of tables), we waited over 40 minutes for our meals. We had requested for the kid’s meal to come out earlier, but it never did — we had to chase it up, and another waitress claimed it hadn’t been requested at all. Poor communication all around. When the meals finally arrived, the quality was very underwhelming. The oriental pork belly was overcooked — hard as a rock and not edible. I specifically requested my steak to be cooked medium, but it came out almost well done and certainly not worth the $48 price tag. Overall, very mediocre food. When asked how everything was, I explained the food was overcooked. The waitress told me I should have said something earlier and they would have remade the meals — but after already waiting 40 minutes, we couldn’t wait another round. She dismissed the feedback and offered nothing further. Sadly, this place is overpriced with very average food and poor service. Would not recommend.
Foodie_Tin — Google review
love it. I've been here at least 6 times. Always fresh, delicious, and flavoursome. I had the Prawn marinara, slightly spicy, but dig out the prawns, they were succulent. Finish off with the delicious bread. Then ordered the lasagne. Hugely generous portion. I ate more than intended cos it was so moreish
Crunchie — Google review
Service was excellent and all meals were top end quality produce, presentation and cooked to perfection. I had the scotch fillet and it melted in your mouth. Just a little pink in the middle as ordered (medium rear). I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a quality meal.
Glen S — Google review
The quality of the food was very good. Very tender beef ribs. Would have liked to have had a slightly larger serve of the veggies with it. The overall time to be served felt a bit slow but that is fine if you are expecting to have a longer meal.

My 2 and 6 year old had a blast here in the school holidays, there was so much for them to do in the playground area and I was very impressed to see that my 2 year old could go on a lot of the equipment without any help, I would 1000% bring my kids back here it was phenomenal.

Lots of animals to see free entry. My kids loved the playground. The playground had a flying fox, slides anything you could think of. Our favourite bit was the birds. The cockertoos could talk and there was a funny bird that was swinging from a swing they had set up. Overall great place for a family.

Free entry, Picnic Tables, BBQs. Great little place for the kids, it has a playground the kids will love. You can walk into the bird aviary and the kangaroo grounds. We up very close to a peacock.

This place was absolutely amazing, and completely free! The animals looked very well looked after, and you could see kangaroos, emus, peacocks and a wide array of different birds. We arrived early and the park was almost empty and there was lots to see and explore. There's several walks and many enclosures and you could easily spend several hours here. The children's playground was amazing too and definitely worth a visit!

Beautiful park only a 5min drive from the Main Street of Tamworth. It’s free entry and has several native animals in enclosures that you can visit including an aviary, emu and kangaroo enclosure. Plenty of picnic areas in the lush and shady bushland makes it a really relaxing and enjoyable place to visit. Take a picnic lunch and enjoy the outdoors.

A great spot to visit if you enjoy nature and wildlife. Entry is free, you’ll come across kangaroos, emus, peacocks, and more, plus many birds – especially in the giant walk-in aviary. There’s seats and tables where you can sit and enjoy the sights and sounds, and several walking trails. Although the park isn’t completely wheel chair accessible, it’s still possible to see quite a few areas (for some of them, like the kangaroo habitat and the bird aviary, there are heavy doors which might need assistance to open).

10/10 coffee, food and service. Super friendly and welcoming cafe - incredibly friendly, polite and helpful staff. Delicious coffee and food! Ended up buying coffee grounds to take home to. Best coffee we found in Tamworth by far. Gluten free bread so we can enjoy the scrumptious toasties too!

I love people who commit to theme. Beautiful colours and the vibrant orange blanket that was at all our camp grounds many years ago. Reminds me of my grandpa and his Valiant. He had the rug on the back seat . Coffee excellent. Take a few minutes and put down the devices and let these lovely , happy staff share their place with you. Good tunes.

We live lives, bombarded by imposed urgency, manufactured problems, and deprived of ritual. And yet, the diligent and observant among us can if we try, rebuild these quiet moments, these simple pleasures. The morning cafe crowd at Camp Grounds developed during covid. Up and down Dowe St, carefully, respectfully, socially distanced we sat. Together, yet apart. That vital human connection outside our confines. The warmth of human generosity, and the exceptional coffee held so many of us through rough times. People would bring their own chairs. Though people come and go, both community and solitude still exist in the Peel St Camp Grounds. I’ve overheard the rigorous training underway covering all levels of hospitality excellence. So if you’re looking to make space and time for the warmth of interaction, and the healing opportunity to reflect, reset and recalibrate with friends, or alone amongst them, this might be the place.
Phillip P — Google review
I was in Tamworth and in Coffee Heaven. Camp Grounds Cafe. The owner was the barista and he had a young server guy. I asked for a single origin espresso and the young guy said the two singles were for the cold press and they only had a blend for espresso. I said, i don't care, give me one single shot of each of the cold press coffees. The barista looked up then smiled, said to another barista, 21 grams at 5.1. Then brought me the first espresso. I asked for some soda water as i wanted to taste each at the same time so he brought me the second. Then we had a long chat about coffee. He owns his own machine and showcases different origins regularly. You can't find a better cafe owner for coffee. Of course he was about 35 with a beard.

Coolest cafe in town. Superb specialty coffee - both the batch brew and milky were absolutely delicious. Incredible range of natural and lo-fi wines, including a strong representation from Minimum. Service was warm and personable - staff told me about their wine range when I was seen perusing, and I was addressed by my name when they had a question about my order. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, Le Pruneau is a charming regional French restaurant that offers a delightful escape. You might just find yourself leaving with a scrumptious Black Forest Cake or homemade Wagon Wheel after your visit!
This place is the real deal. Best coffee and the genuine article in every sense of the French word. Fresh produce too. Cake, Oh my! I almost demanded to see the chef and half expected Ratatouille to appear.
Mark ( — Google review
I love the concept of this place and the setting is cute! Wait staff were also friendly. Unfortunately the food was not enjoyed by many. Chicken in the pasta dish was strange and possibly just boiled? The greens bowl I expected to be more of a fresh and flavourful dish but instead was mostly just over cooked oily veg and under seasoned tofu. The egg on top the bowl I asked for hard poached but came out runny and really ruined the dish for me. If I came here again I’d make my own breakfast as that was the most enjoyed and colourful dish at the table.
Heather G — Google review
The staff were very friendly and it was a good dining experience overall as the coffee was also very nice. Given the price of the food, when add-ons are included, I think a couple of improvements could be made to take it to the next level. For example, the scrambled eggs could be creamier and the presentation is a little basic.
Chris D — Google review
Great good and great service and atmosphere. This is a French and Japanese inspired country restaurant. We came for breakfast I had the pulled pork and my wife had the poached eggs and pumpkin rostti. Overall the food was ok, my dish however was not that great I don't believe adding kimchi to pulled pork with egg omlette works that well. Other than that coffees were great and atmosphere was great The service was to be commended.
Mitch M — Google review
Sorry. Cherry pie was delicious. Staff were polite. But … if bakers know how to make good cherry pie, they (should) also know how to make decent pumpkin bread. $9 for tasteless, dry loaf of bread. Supposed to be fresh. It may have been, but very dry. Even putting in freezer to try to soften or toasting didn’t help. Looked like & tasted like tasteless yellow food colouring had been added. Rude to sell dry tasteless bread at full price. Still, I think it’s worth giving this Cafe another chance. For Cafe items. Won’t buy bread again.

The vegetarian shakshuka is the worst thing I ever put in my mind! Had to eat plain toast just to get rid of the taste after half a spoon I had! My partner had bacon and eggs on toast and he said it was tasteless. Coffee was 3/5! Seating area inside had no music and could hear everyone’s conversations. Can’t fault the staff but the whole vibe of the place was off! Do not recommend.

We had breakfast here on a week day. It was fast service and good. Nice food, the Bagdad eggs are amazing!! The maple bacon was as good as some I've had in Canada. Sorry the pictures are of half eaten but they were so good.
Frances R — Google review
Tamworth’s most surprising foodie gem was actually arrived at through an off-hand tip from a mate who lives in Quirindi. Upon hearing I was looking for a farmers’ market for produce to take back to Sydney, she suggested that the local French joint, Le Pruneau, also sells a range of conventional and certified organic vegetables. Cue me heading there for breakfast... In an asymmetrical late Victorian corner block, Le Pruneau insulates you from the pace of the Oxley Highway with a garden setting that provides both intimacy and shade if you decide to break your fast in the great outdoors. The large wraparound porch houses an outdoor counter, where friendly staff chirp greetings to their regulars as they get their coffees underway. Made on beans roasted by The Branches in the Northern Rivers, our Latte ($4.50) and Extra Shot ($0.60) Flat White ($4.50) are the best coffees I drank in Tamworth. With liquorice notes, they have a bit more going on than the other local coffees I sampled, making this the only venue where I felt inclined to order a second cup. With the French country style theming, breakfasts at Le Pruneau are hearty and honest. The kitchen team, led by Phillippe Kanyaro, are making almost everything in-house, from butter to cheese to bread and bacon. God’s own meat can be enjoyed as House-made Bacon ($4.50) with Eggs on Toast ($12.50) in a build-your-own-breakfast affair, or as sticky sweet Maple Bacon ($4.50). I choose the latter as an opt-in for the House-made Crumpets ($19) that come with smashed pumpkin and poached eggs. Crumpets in Tamworth continue to be of a standard we don’t seem to be able to reach in Sydney. At Le Pruneau they’re airy, tasty and cooked through without a doughy centre or burnt bottom. While the maple bacon proves slightly too sweet for a breakfast that already contains roast pumpkin, the syrup sits over what is easily one of the best bacons I’ve eaten in NSW. Mowing our way through their menu on a second visit, we sampled a house-made Beef Sausage ($4.50) that was all thriller, no filler, before moving onto the big garlicky taste of their Toulouse Sausages ($18). Served as a twosome on a bed of compelling white bean mash with two sunny side up fried eggs, this makes for a breakfast that will take you through morning tea all the way to a late lunch without the need for snacking. Le Pruneau sourdough has some tangy sourness to it; their Potato Roesti ($3.50) are generous golden patties of long, thin shreds of potato; only the Avocado Hollandaise ($3.50) is a let-down (and that’s more because avocado doesn’t belong in Hollandaise if you ask me). Even the kitchen’s tomato sauce is better than any commercial one I’ve tried. If I’d known the Haloumi ($3.50) was their own house-made Jersey milk haloumi when I was designing my own breakfast, I would have definitely thrown some in. We used two breakfasts to create a shopping list of ingredients to buy in their store, from the aforementioned cheese, to two kilos of their nitrite-free bacon that still manages to look gloriously pink and white in their packaging (so many look grey and unappealing). Outside in wooden crates and market baskets, you’ll find an array of well-labelled fruit and vegetables. Don’t neglect the fridges: in there you will find the best oyster mushrooms I’ve ever eaten, grown by a Tamworth local – their texture is truly amazing! Le Pruneau certainly makes the bounty of the New England region come alive in both their cooking and the goods that they provide.

Deco’s one of those places you find and instantly want to tell people about. The food is consistently good, and the service is warm and down to earth. The chicken skewers are hands down my favourite. They’re juicy, full of flavour and cooked just right, i don’t think ive ever had this flavour profile ever. The beer battered calamari is another winner. Very light, crisp and fresh. Then there was the coffee. It’s some of the best barista coffee I’ve had outside a dedicated café. I had a flat white and it came smooth, strong and made properly. I’d happily come back just for a quiet coffee. The staff are friendly and make you feel welcome without overdoing it. Service was prompt but relaxed, and they care about the service they provide you. Deco is a solid local spot with great food, coffee and warm service. Absolutely worth a visit.

Suuuuper loved the ambiance! Food is superb!!! Staff are so welcoming and they check on you every now and then, very attentive and accommodating. I will definitely come back here just for I can experience these again. Thanks Deco!!! My fave is the Penne Alfredo with prawns!!! Steak is also nice! Kuddos to the chef! Also tried their coffee, I fell inlove with their Mocha <3

Thank you to all the staff for an absolutely amazing anniversary weekend. We stayed in the Hotel & utilised the breakfast & dinner menu's, plus the bar, at Deco and it was wonderful, the staff are welcoming, friendly, have amazing memories & are very efficient. If you do stay or plan to dine at the restaurant make sure you book (especially the weekends) as this place is very popular. We enjoyed all our meals, I especially loved the poached eggs they were PERFECT. Thank you again to all the wonderful staff & the Chef for making our anniversary weekend great.

Was worth the money for what you got. Staff were so friendly and welcoming which is what I needed after a long day. Seated quickly and served with a smile despite how busy it was. All tables were full and despite this, the staff were always friendly, polite and welcoming to all with a smile on their faces. Would come here again whenever I'm in Tamworth

Staying one night and what a delight! Accommodation, restaurant and the bar.....all exceptional, beyond all expectations. Highly recommended. We are already planning our return.

Tamworth can be hit and miss with quality dining options but the CH on Peel is one that consistently delivers. Recently celebrated a major milestone and the total experience was amazing. The bar area has the ideal atmosphere for pre dinner drinks and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Food was great, steak cooked to perfection and again the staff and service were excellent. The CH is miles ahead of the other 5 star hotel in terms of fine dining ie not surrounded by hi vis when you get dressed up for a special night out.

Fine dining here lovely meal and few wines. $90.00 per head. Wife and I enjoyed lovely main meals and beautiful deserts. Compliments to the chefs. Waitresses were excellent. Highly recommend to treat yourself to a class restaurant in Tamworth comparable to any restaurant in Melbourne or Sydney.

Fast food restaurant
Hungry Jack's Burgers Tamworth is a beloved fast-food destination known for its hearty beef and chicken burgers, complemented by delicious ice cream and refreshing soft drinks. Visitors often rave about the friendly and attentive staff who contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant stands out for its cleanliness, making it one of the tidiest locations in the chain. With ample parking available and an efficient drive-thru service, Hungry Jack's Burgers Tamworth ensures a convenient dining experience for all burger enthusiasts!
Near every single time I come into my local Hungry Jack’s there’s a ridiculously long wait. I don’t think I’ve been through Drive Thru without at least 10 minutes in waiting bay after an initial 10 minutes in the drive thru line. Even after this, the workers never say “sorry for the wait” and typically just hand you your food without a word. Majority of the time the food comes out wrong, missing a sauce or something similar. I miss my top tier service at Hungry Jack’s, it’s favourite fast food.

I do food delivery in Tamworth, and EVERY TIME I collect from this store the experience is EXTREMELY BAD. • Staff are very rude towards delivery drivers. • Orders are delayed 30+ minutes, sometimes even longer. • Drive-thru and counter customers are always given priority, while delivery people are left waiting. • Staff behave as if they are doing a favour for delivery orders, instead of respecting that customers already paid for their food online. Because of this, customers are waiting 1–2 HOURS to receive their orders, which is unacceptable. This is a serious issue that affects both delivery workers and customers. Hungry Jack’s management really needs to train staff to treat delivery orders fairly and with respect.

The most dirtiest place I have had the misfortune to walk into. The toilets have not been cleaned since the store was opened shoes stick to the floor. Can't get order right and could not give a dam about fixing it. Best advice Goto Macca's and I hate McDonald's
Kevin T — Google review
The girl serving drive through and front counter, apart from not knowing what she was doing, was extremely rude. To the extent that we said if we didn't dislike the cleanliness and attitude of McDonalds so much we would have been tempted to go there instead of Hungry Jacks today

Very bad service. Wrong coffee to 1 lady wrong order to young man . Long time before you got your order. 1 man asking how long his order was going to be was replied its coming soon asking again 5 minutes later was replied with it's coming in an very angry tone then stuffed up hes order . When he said that your customer service needs to improve to your in store customer's Was replied whatever with her back turned to him . As for myself 15 mins for 1 solo and 1 iced coffee then placed on the counter without calling my number. The person l'm talking about is the larger women who was so rude to customer's bullying the young girl who was trying hard but was cut short everytime she was agessive rude and did care about custom service she was more worried about drive through then the customer's in store. She needs a refreshing course in customer service and how to treat staff if she worked for myself she would be sacked just for her attude. Also shop was not clean toilets filthy very poor quality all round

Got ice creams with friends, just simple plain ones parked in the carpark to eat them, they tasted expired And sour. Went inside and explained to them and got a refund but they didn’t seem that interested in what we said, also seemed annoyed that we complained 🤷‍♀️

Upon entry you're greeted by grubby finger prints on the door, then the smell of burnt food hits you, gaze around, the place is dirty, floors look like they haven't been cleaned in a while, tables wiped over with smears of whatever the hell it is they use to clean them, reach the counter you're greeted by a disheveled crew, again empty boxes and mess about. A quick glance into the prep area and one instantly decided to just get a drink, ordered a drink, it appears within seconds, pick the cup up and it has dirty wet finger prints on the cup and this person is dealing with food!! WASH YOUR HANDS! What appeared to be a manager looking out over the store, maybe get a staff member to sweep and mop the floors, wipe the tables and chairs over correctly will go a long way. Think I'll give it a miss in future.

2 times in a week I've gone through the drive thru, gotten the grill masters double Angus cowboy and been given a single patty burger both times and the second time the completely wrong burger, even after asking to fix it they gave me a double of the wrong burger, nothing else, have to sit in the drive thru 10 extra minutes each time or come back halfway home after realising, they just say sorry, better hungry jacks would give you a free chips or something, get on top of your training.

Presto Gourmet Pizzeria is a delightful spot in West Tamworth, known for its exceptional pizza offerings that cater to various dietary needs. Gluten-intolerant guests rave about the delicious gluten-free base, while others enjoy the classic thin crust and unique flavors like satay pizza. The friendly staff enhance the experience with their attentive service, making it a go-to choice for both casual dining and last-minute catering needs.
The pizzas were amazing. All staff were super friendly. Will definitely be back love the original thin crust and to have a satay pizza these days. It’s very rare to find.

Pasta the first time was unremarkable, lacking seasoning but fine. Garlic bread was quite literally partially sliced roll of bread with garlic butter in the slices. Not even toasted. Second time trying them and the nacho pizza had a small sprinkling of 3 chunks of beef mince in total on the entire pizza. Very disappointing because the pizza definitely had potential but that amount of meat on the pizza was a disrespectful amount for a $20 pizza. And no, there wasn't more meat hidden under the other toppings or cheese...

Ordered chilli prawns with Greek salad on Uber eats. Arrived 1hr later to the gloop in picture 2. It is described as “pan fried tiger prawns in a chilli coconut sauce on a bed of rice.” Abiut 5 regular prawns (definitely not tiger prawns) and rice mixed into this giant container of gloop. No salad delivered. I thought I must have received the wrong delivery intirely so called restaurant who informed this was the right dish and advised they would deliver the salad. 1.5hrs after order placed initially salad arrived. I ordered a Greek salad. Pictured is what I got. Paid $27 for this before a night shift :/ thrown straight into the bin. Don’t know what their in house service is like but won’t be ordering takeout from here again.

I ordered online a chocolate brownie pizza. The base was hard crust, one small strawberry cut into spread on all slices, charged me 20$. The store management!!!, I think you can spend a little more on the toppings for the unnecessary amount you charge for your pizzas. I should’ve checked the reviews before ordering because most reviews posted about this issue. Never ordering here again.

I got a takeaway pizza from Presto Gourmet Pizza while in Tamworth. The pizza was nice but fairly average, nothing amazing, though the staff were really friendly and welcoming, which made the experience better overall. I would recommend getting take away over dining in.

Great Pizza! Helped us with 12 last minute pizzas for a work function!!

Decided to give this place a second chance after a dissapointing first experience. It was somehow worse this time. The pasta dishes have more oil than meat. we spent $25 per dish online for the most mediocre pasta ive ever tasted. The pizza is just ok. Its like the greasiest, averagest "italian" fast food you've ever had, charged at gourmet prices. Never again.

Worst spaghetti I've ever eaten. We walked in about 40 mins prior to closing. Ordered 1 garlic bread, 1 spaghetti bolognaise and 2 fanta's. We asked for parmasan in a bowl. The food came out, luke warm and SWIMMING in oil. The garlic bread came out a few minutes later, butter barely melted and we were given bamboo forks in a take away pack. (We were dining in). Not only was the parmesan on the spaghetti already, we were told we'd be charged $2 for the extra cheese. The food was SO oily it was like soup. We could not eat it. The bowls were left practically full. We now feel sick. Absolutely disgusting food, poor service and a total waste of money. Will be requesting a refund tomorrow and will accept nothing less. If I could give a 0, I would.

Have I found Australia's best Pizza? It would certainly be up there. Unpretentious toppings on fluffy home-made bases. I don't know what else to say. Go and try it. Great service too.

We visited Tamworth & was looking for a really yummy pizza for dinner, we found it here 😁 best housemade pizza base both my husband (the fussy eater) & myself have ever had 👍 The toppings are nice & generous but not over the top, delicious 👌 Create your own toppings by adding to an existing pizza, at a cost of course. Very friendly & helpful staff. Definitely a 10/10 from us for our pizza experience 👍👍 Thanks Guys 😁

The pizza was so delicious. Best pizza. We had take away and I customised my own pizza and had there tomato sauce base, with salami, pineapple, cheese and jalapeños. My sister had the vegetarian one with added salami and feta. Such friendly staff. Would definitely go back. Even better the next day! 5 star review!

Easily one of the best pizza places I’ve ever been too. For the price and quality you can’t beat it! I’ve eaten allot of pizzas all around Australia and these guys are 100% one of the best. Thank you for the great food.

I rate you guys 5 out of 5 stars. I'm a uni student from Newcastle doing placement up here. I ordered the meatball pizza and the sweet chilli and sour cream pizza. They were incredible, honestly I dont think there is any place in newcastle that makes pizza as good. The crust was most impressive and I love the sauce and quality ingredients. I will miss you guys when I leave. 😢😢😢 😂😂😂 By the way your customer service was outstanding. Thank you for the experience.
