Endless Summer nights. I don’t often leave reviews, but I knew I had to once I got home. From the moment we walked past the bar, and into the restaurant, the tropical ambiance just after sunset instantly transported me back to memories of Hawaii. Thank you for an incredible evening of dining. We were warmly greeted by who I believe was the host, with effortless grace in her black dress, welcomed our family and guided us to the outdoor dining area. She went above and beyond with pleasantries and ensured our little toddler was comfortable, even arranging extra cushions to help with seating. The service throughout the evening was faultless. Every member of the wait staff was not only professional but carried a quiet elegance that truly elevated the experience. Even the sparkling water tasted elegant. We had heard great things about the seafood platter for two and had to try it, it did not disappoint. Ordering for 5, everything arrived within 15 minutes, and the freshness of the seafood was amazing. We finished the evening with dessert all round, with the crème brûlée being a clear favourite. We’ll absolutely be back during our annual Sapphire Coast visit and are already looking forward to exploring more of the menu.

The food, staff service and atmosphere at Wheeler's is five stars across the board. The two person seafood platter made for a special birthday treat and the host was happy to swap out the oysters because (sadly) I can't eat them. It was our first time staying in Merimbula. Whenever we go there again, we will be DEFINITELY be visiting Wheeler's. Highly recommend, Pam and Trevor

We enjoyed a great night of delicious meals. Starters of half dozen oysters Kilpatrick & prawns with tempura batter. Followed by fish of the day that cooked perfectly. Deserts were sticky date and affogato. Great friendly service in a comfortable setting. A pretty good wine selection too.

Highly recommend the oysters with nam jim sauce, lamb dumplings and herb crusted barramundi! The Asian flavours with seafood was absolute perfection. Also loved the crab linguine and the lemon meringue was a light but perfect sweet to finish off the flavourful dinner. To top it all off the service was punctual and all the staff were super friendly. Shoutout to the new owner Nirajan for his impeccable hospitality. We really appreciated your service and incredible menu. We would definitely recommend Wheelers if you’re visiting Merimbula! (It’s also dog friendly)

Wonderful meal at a restaurant out of Merimbula opposite Pambula Golf Club. Great set up that they also provide take away facilities as well. Our meals were amazing , the best mirror dory ever and the prawns were beautiful. Looking around the room, the seafood platter looked amazing. Great service,staff extremely welcoming, accommodating and friendly. We would have no hesitation in recommending and visiting again. Keep up the good work 😊

Whoever the baker is here, they’re both talented & passionate. We stopped in to sample their pies & sausage rolls after a recommendation while staying at kosciuszko. You’d legitimately call their product gourmet. Made in house, pastry was a stand out and I also noted semolina or similar; showing an eye for detail not only on flavour but also texture. Impressed.

Had the thai chicken curry pie, tasted good. 😋Nice pastry too. Ordered some coffee and a pack to take home.

Awesome bakery, great selection of baked goods including a sourdough with a beautiful crust, a range of savoury and satisfying pies and a solid varirty of pastries and cakes. Coffee is also pretty great and the spot has a constant flux of locals and tourists alike.

Wild Rye's Baking Co Visited on 6/12/2023, 7/12/2023 How can anyone miss the bakery? It has visible signage above the walkway and on the windows. The bakery sells pies, cakes, beverages and coffee beans. I share with my friend a piece of carrot cake. The texture is soft, and I can taste the shreded carrot. The icing is not that sweet. As a fussy pie lover, I try the chicken and mushroom pie. The overall size (height) is about the same as others, but has good amount of small bits of chicken and slices of mushroom. The chicken may suit many, but I find it "hard". The pastry can do with a bit more shortening to improve the texture. I cannot comment on other products as I have not tasted them.

Best pie I've had in a long time. Ordered a steak bacon and cheese pie. Nice big chunks if meat that fell apart like they had been slow cooked. Amazing.

This bakery gets very busy for good reason. Their coffee and baked goods are excellent and their service quick and efficient. Eat in or grab some goodies for a road trip.

Came to Wild Ryes for lunch today whilst in town! This place was recommended by a colleague and it did not disappoint. Lovely little bakery that appeared to be the local spot for lunch. Huge selection of pies with all your normal verity but so wild cards as well. I had a lamb Rohan Josh pie which was brilliant. Reasonably priced, plenty of room and lovely staff. Highly recommend!

This was another great place. Merimbula in general has been an amazing place for food. We just got some different pancakes dishes, the cranky pancakes with granola and fruit was surprisingly delicious.

Food was quick, delicious, and tasted fresh. I had the special mortadella focaccia sandwich and I don’t think I breathed while I ate it 😂 also had the açaí smoothie which was refreshing. The only thing is that they automatically put it in a takeaway container. I was going to stay and eat but decided to just take it to go when it showed up in a box.

It's popular for a reason and well earned. The staff are lovely, we were seen to by Ruby and Cricket. The food and coffee are delicious. The portions are really generous and the gluten free buns baked on-site are outstanding! Definitely give this place a visit (or more). 👌

Very cute cafe, making delicious baked goods in house! We had the maritozzi and cinnamon doughnut, as well as matcha shake. Everything tasted fresh and had fluffy textures, we loved our take away at the park across the road!

Great spot for fish and chips. Fish was great, a really nice light batter so you could actually taste the fish. A bit stingy on the chicken salt. Can’t eat in but just a few steps and you can enjoy on the beach or at nearby picnic tables. Can be super busy during holiday season so plan ahead and order before arriving.

Ordered takeaway fish and chips, potatoe cakes and dim Sims. Potatoe cakes were not cooked through, chips a bit starchy and quite yellow looking and soft and doughy texture. Fish was sub-sized but was on eating. Overall not a good experience. Will try somewhere else next time or grab pizza

It was the worst fish and chips ever. The batter was so thick and burnt looking 😩 The potato in the scallop was so thin you could see through it..and again the batter was just disgusting..

Beautiful fresh flathead, so good that we've been driving half an hour up from Eden just to go to Fishpen. It's situated right next to the beach and also just behind the oyster farms so perfect to grab some food and watch the sun set over the picturesque hills of Merimbula

Ordered 2 peices of fish with chips and potato cakes. The fish had NO flavour what so ever and was very soggy. Not worth the $12.50 each. The potato cakes were over cooked and had next to no potato in them. On the upside the chips weren't too bad. Ordered the same thing 12 months ago and it was the best fish and chips I'd even eaten. Shame it wasn't the same this time.

Best fish in chips for a few towns... Great sized servings, GF option with grilled fish - flat head battered fish was delicious and of course a perfect amount of chicken salt. The tartare sauce was also a 5/5 😊😍🐟🍟

A great place to go. Must stop in if in Merimbula. Get the chilli scrambled eggs and prawns, they are next level. So amazing. The big breakfast is also quality, poached eggs were on point and the homemade ham hock beans were delicious.

I took my wife and 3 year old here for lunch on Saturday 1st Feb 2025. This by far is the best fish and chips I have ever eaten in 30 years. The salad was amazing - only would have preferred more radish and red onion. The chips make other chips taste like those potatoes that sit in a cupboard too long and grow roots from them. I couldn’t recommend to go here more, specifically for this dish. Will be back again the next time I am down :)

We really enjoyed our visit to The Waterfront Cafe—especially the fish and chips, which were fresh and perfectly cooked. The restaurant has a relaxed, welcoming vibe with beautiful views. A great spot to unwind and enjoy a tasty meal by the water!

Had a lovely breakfast at The Waterfront Cafe in Merimbula. eggs benedict with smoked salmon for me, and a burger for my husband, both delicious. The view of the lake was absolutely dreamy, and the service was friendly and prompt.

Love this place. It is my go to for birthdays and special meals with friends. Love it too just for a light treat or coffee while taking in the view. Hands down, the best view of anywhere in Merimbula 😍 I celebrated my birthday again her today and it was spectacular. The service was amazing and they made it a very special day for me and my guests. It always just feels good to dine here. And the view was the icing on the cake. Not to mention the cheesecake was amazing! I also love taking my son and visitors here for a treat and aquarium visit.

Highly recommend! I came here for my birthday tonight and I had such a special experience. The aquarium below was fun to check out and the seafood was top tier. We will definitely return next time we’re in town.

Took my son to the aquarium and he had a great time! The local sea life is just amazing. Some pretty cool creatures to see. We just happened to be there at feeding time (11:30am) which made the sea life even more active! Ian, the guide, had the kids enthralled and was quite funny!

Good selection of gluten free items including batter for fish, friendly service, aquarium is pricey and not as big as you get in the bigger tourist destination but fun for kids, but understandable its not cheap to operate

It is a beautiful view to sit down to while enjoying lovely food. We had a delicious brunch. Eggs your way with bacon and ciabatta was delicious. One order was for scrambled egg, and one was for fried. They both were cooked to our liking. The gin cured salmon with eggs and ciabatta was fantastic!! Kids loved their hot chocolate, and coffee and milkshake went down well, too. The scones were so good, freshly baked, the decadent chocolate cake was lovely, and the carrot cake was beautiful and moist. The prices were good too!! Staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place and will be back.

Service and atmosphere are fine, but the food is certainly not worth the price point. Paid $95 for a ‘seafood platter for one’ that was mostly deep fried and came with a side of chips that wasn’t listed on the menu and I didn’t want anyway. The calamari was also covered in cinnamon for some reason. Completely disappointing experience, especially since there seems to be so much hype about this place.

We went there for lunch. The Phd See Ew was quite good, but the Honey Chicken was rather bland—lacking sweetness and flavor. It was only $15, so no complaints. We sat by the window, which offered a nice view.

We visited the Merimbula RSL Club for dinner during our trip. The food was good, especially the soup — we really enjoyed it. However, there were a few things that could be improved. First, we had to place our order ourselves, even though there were several staff members around, and no one came to take our order at the table. The main issue was the attitude of the lady who took our order. She asked for our table number, and since I hadn’t noticed it, I pointed toward our table. Instead of responding politely, she said quite rudely, “I can’t see from here — go and check the number.” It would have been much better if she had spoken more kindly and professionally. I just wanted to share this feedback so that future customers can enjoy not only the good food but also better service.

Oct 2024 (second visit a year later) My experience was the same as the first time I attended: a positive experience and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. They have uphelp a high standard. _____________________________________ I visited the RSL on a Monday evening, finding the venue comfortably busy and filled with a lively atmosphere. The food arrived promptly, and every dish was very good. In a group of six, each of us ordered something different, and we all enjoyed our meals. Notably, the chicken nuggets in the kids' meal pleasantly surprised me; they were freshly prepared and juicy, a far cry from the usual frozen, processed version I usually encounter. However, my only drawback was that we couldn't take leftovers home. One member of our group couldn't finish her pizza, and it was a shame to leave it behind and waste food. The service was excellent, with friendly staff, and the venue was well-managed.

Last night my husband and I and all his family went to the Merimbula RSL and we left with a bad taste in our mouth. And it wasn’t from the food, it was from the attitude and rudeness of one employee. I am a ex hospitality worker of 15 years and am a true believer in costumer service being everything and is often the reason people don’t go back to a place or love going back. And unfortunately our experience, has made us not keen to return to your establishment. My two brother in laws and I copped a massively bad attitude and rude comments from a girl named Nikita who took our orders. She was impatient, blunt and down right rude, making us feel like we were inconveniencing her for ordering food. She was sighing while my brother in law was checking the menu and rolling her eyes as my other brother in law forgot to add one item and rudely said well now you will have to wait and I’ll open a new order. She admonished myself and another lady for lining up in a certain direction, even though it was quiet so shouldn’t have mattered. She rudely said after speaking down to my two family members, are there MORE people to order from your table? My toddler who’s just started toilet training, suddenly needed the toilet and I had to check what sort of meat my husband wanted and she acted like I was so annoying for having to come back. I totally get that sometimes at work, you might be tired or experience stress, so maybe she was having a bad day, but it is no excuse to be outright rude to people who were nothing but polite and just wanting a nice dining experience. I have since seen on the google reviews that multiple other reviews have mentioned this worker, naming her as rude and racist. And yet one review was from 2 years ago, and management have not done anything to change her behaviour. Merimbula RSL management, I would think hard about whether you want this sort of person in your workplace and realise how much she is impacting people’s experience.

Service with a smile. I ordered a special meal not on their menu and they were only too happy to help out. Seafood was fresh and tasty. Kids enjoyed their spaghetti. Food came out in record time. Definitely recommend.

Really good menu for an RSL. The Pad Talay and Steak we ordered were delicious and very generous in size. We booked online for dinner and the service was friendly and the meals came quickly. While there are windows facing the water, you can't really see much in the dark so lunch would be a better option if you want the view. Probably the best RSL meal I've had.

very attentive and active staff. Decorations were lovely and atmosphere looking over the lake is amazing. cocktails were great and during happy hour were decent prices. great for just having a cocktail after work. however the food left something to be desired. i had tacos which were expensive and very bland and felt un-authentic. left feeling like we should have stayed home and made tacos in. there should have heen extra dipping sauces served with our dishes, extra tortillas under the tacos and definitely been hot sauce on the table. may comeback for cocktails.

We had a great family dinner at this little restaurant - booked on a whim while on holiday. Exceeded expectations for casual dining. The young staff were all particularly professional, friendly and prompt (hence being inspired to write a review). The water view from the window table was nice on dusk. The food was simple but tasty and well proportioned with options to suit all tastes in our family. Best margaritas we’ve had in a long time too! Cute decor. Will come again when next in town.

Wasn’t expecting much from a lot of these restaurants down the coast but it blew my expectations, food was delicious and the staff are very welcoming and lovely, really pretty views out the balcony/windows only thing we weren’t thrilled abt was that you couldn’t get 1 of each taco it had to just be all 3 of the same but not that much of a big deal. Loved it and can’t wait to come back down

Nice place, friendly staff with a good view of Merimbula bay, plenty of good seating indoors and outside. The food was overall quite good, my favourite was the nachos and mexi-fries, whereas the quesadilla wasn't quite on the same level. It was also a considerable wait (25+ minutes) to get our food despite there being only barely anyone else in the restaurant, despite all the food being quite simple. I also think they could be more generous with the sour cream and guac especially considering the price you're paying. Finally the prices of the drinks, alcoholic or not were all a bit shocking.

I realise that Santa Fe is under new management, but I feel compelled to provide some genuine feedback, (which I have already given to the wonderful gentleman working exceptionally hard behind the bar). We arrived at 5.30pm to partake in the Happy Hour advertised on the website and then enjoy the food and view from your establishment. We finally got our order taken at 5.50. Drinks arrived and my wife had ordered the special, Brisket Taco, and I ordered the Mexi Bowl. Her meal arrived and at best was lukewarm and lacked flavour. I was informed that mine would be 2 minutes. Luckily my wife had already started but had finished when mine finally arrived 7 minutes later, (BTW, mine was very flavoursome and enjoyable). Asked if we wanted dessert, she chose the mars bar, wrapped in a tortilla and fried...not my cup of tea.... unfortunately it was delivered to the wrong table and the gentleman at that table returned it to the wait person who eventually delivered it to the correct table. Then when it came to paying the bill, we had been charged full price for the 2 drinks and not the Happy Hour price. The gentleman behind the bar kindly removed the cost of one of the drinks off the bill whilst I explained what had happened tonight. Hopefully you will be able to take this onboard and iron out these issues and I wish you all the best for the future. P.S. please 🙏 update your prices on your website because they are not current.

Nice restaurant with friendly service. We dined early and it wasn’t very busy. The strawberry mocktail was tasty and food was okay. Could definitely do with more flavour but overall good dining experience.

Amazing Mexican food! Great atmosphere and service, catered very well for gluten free dining! The cocktail 🍹 are amazing too! Highly recommend if your in Merimbula and your GF!

Prawn fried rice was a small portion and cooked without love. Person who served me was so serious. Tiny place lacking character.

Definitely went beyond our expectations, the food came fairly quick and really delicious!! We’ve ordered the crispy fish curry, chicken salad, sea food pad see ew and plain roti, everything taste fresh and delicious, most of all, a great price. The staff are friendly and attentive, would come back again!

Absolutely our favourite Thai. Service is always so friendly and very helpful. The food never disappoints and is so tasty. Have taken lots of family members here and they always enjoy.

Wasn’t too bad! Fresh rice noodles instead of instant for the pad se ew. Lots of vegetables in the stirfry but needed the beef to be more tender. Bit of spice in the green curry but a bit watery. I would come back. Really hate their website though.

Really yummy little restaurant ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 They have a good range of selections from chilli to mild, from pork and beef, prawns, to vegetarian options which is very considering for dinners with distinguish preferences! Staff was nice and warm welcoming 💕 I would recommend this lovely restaurant to people looking for Asian/Thai cuisine in this area for sure~

Wow, what an amazing cafe. The coffee was the best ever, however the food was outstanding. All the food is made at the cafe. Such a friendly staff as well. Great value food, fantastic service and unbelievable atmosphere. It is the place to be for coffee, cake or lunch.

Every time we pass Merimbula, always stop by here and have a pleasurable experience every time. such a lovely, cozy vibe with delicious food, attentive staff and lovely little nursery, gallery, brewery and more to have a walk around as well. Can’t wait to be back ☺️☺️

Fantastic place to stop, live music near the brewery. Great beers on brew, gift shop, chocolate factory, and nursery. Make sure you have plenty of time to stay and look around. The staff are wonderful as was the food.

Great food. Friendly staff. Atmosphere is excellent. Cafe is next to a garden nursery, gallery and a gift shop. Wander around take some photos and soak in the atmosphere. There's indoor and outdoor sitting. lovely rustic feel. If you're passing this way, is a must to come here for a meal.

It ended better than it started. When we arrived, we weren't sure if we needed to wait to be seated and decided just to sit at a vacant table. Then we weren't sure if they came to take our order, so I asked and they do. So after a bit of an unsure beginning the food came out and boy was it tasty. And the serving size was huge! The coffee was also terrific. We will be back next time we are in the area.

We always love to visit Oaklands Cafe when in town. Staff are always friendly, and food is always great. My favourite is the pie every time!! Other food ordered was the southern fried chicken burger, homemade sausage roll and desserts. We would highly recommend Oaklands 👌

While the coffee is good, I had a bad experience this morning. My friends had delicious cakes I opted for raisin toast as it is from Wild Rye. I was served 2 pieces both were the crusts. I didn’t say anything, silly me. I will go and see them, however the crusts are usually thrown away or eaten by the staff in my experience from working In cafes.

Oh my. Nona would be writhing in her grave. First warning. Licensed restaurant serving lemon lime and bitters from a bottle. However the young staff were friendly. We purchased one of the more expensive dishes based on a good review. You have no idea what we felt when the dish arrived as a bit of foil with a full chips side. Photos attached. Foil! Really? How about unwrap it. Don't mention the sad seafood bits. Nope. Salad just mainly dressing and leaves. Anyway the girls were nice.

I was really looking forward to revisiting the seafood pizzas we loved from years ago, but unfortunately, our takeaway experience was quite disappointing this time. The pizza lacked the authentic flavours we remembered — the dough tasted store-bought, the seasoning was minimal, and the cheese lacked the richness and texture we associate with quality Italian cuisine. For a restaurant that includes “Italian” in its name, we were hoping for a more traditional and flavourful experience. It’s a shame to see the quality decline, especially when the food used to be so memorable. I truly hope the restaurant can return to its previous standard.

Food was delicious, menu was impressive and very hard to choose from! Food arrived promptly and was a great size (not too big or too small). Staff were friendly with our young ones, dietary requirements well met, our meal here was one of our culinary highlights of our trip here.

Ducis is a family restaurant, portion sizes are amazing . Atmosphere is fabulous and the staff are great. The pizza’s are delicious and the rissoto is one of my absolute favourites. We have been coming to Duci’s since the beginning and will definitely keep come back!

Great food, soup and Pizza! Loved the Sole fish and the Soup was just delicious, the Pizza is a soft crunchy base with wonderful toppings. Loved being there and being catered by the friendly staff. They do take away too.

So disappointed… I ordered takeaway pasta and they were greasy, bland, and drowned in tomato sauce. Absolutely no flavour and very poorly done. Wouldn’t recommend.

Very disappointed, service was below average. It was almost as if it was an Inconvenience we were there. They forgot things we ordered, and then brought out completely wrong meals. We went to pay and they over calculated the amount, luckily my partner added it up and gave them the correct price. Will not be back, theres much better Italian in town…

Dulcie’s Cottage is an absolute gem for anyone craving delicious burgers in a relaxed, vintage setting. The staff were friendly, efficient, and clearly passionate about creating a great experience for guests. Dulcie’s Cottage isn't just a place to grab a bite — it’s a destination in itself, offering great food, cold drinks, and a truly enjoyable atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area looking for a memorable, casual dining experience.

We visited Dulces on a cold winters night and it was the perfect venue to warm up by the log fire. It is hard to beat this venue. The atmosphere paired with delicious cocktails and friendly bar staff makes this a must visit venue whilst visiting Merimbula. The highlight for me was the PB & C cocktail made with peanut butter whisky. Hannah looked after us really well and was super friendly.

Great range of burgers with a bacon cheeseburger as the signature, along with fried chicken and fried Ling alternatives. Thin cut french fries are fresh, crunchy and generously portioned. Drinks menu is awesome with themed cocktails to suit a charming location, taken over from a local family who are incorporated into the lore and decor of the restaurant delightfully. The experience is topped off with a gorgeous view of the harbour, with shades over seating during the day and candles and gas heaters the keep you toasty by night.

this place was an awesome stop for dinner in Merimbula. The shroom burger was saucy and fresh, and the drinks had a huge range to choose from. The atmosphere was definitely the best part, the garden and inside had so much character. Around us there was a family, an older couple, young friends and even a hens do so it is clearly a fav for everyone including the locals.

Dulcie’s Delish!! We had the Dulcie Burger and Cheese Burger with Spicy Marg and Get Figgy With it. Absolutely delicious. Hit the spot 10/10

We had a lovely evening at Dulcie’s! The outdoor seating is pet-friendly, which was perfect for our dog, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The heater made the cool night feel cosy. The hamburger was delicious, the fries perfectly crispy, and the oysters fresh and tasty. There’s even a little space for kids to play, which is great for families. Not many vegetarian options, but overall a relaxed, friendly spot we’d happily visit again.

Burgers were great, but it would have been nice to be asked if we wanted a drink. At least explain to your customers, if you need a drink, just order it from inside, rather than just ask "do you want to sit inside or outside"? No explanation about drinks at all. Please offer your customers water at least and then see if they would like to order a drink. Otherwise, it's a beautiful spot to grab some good burgers 🍔.

Nice coffee. We tried pistachio crepe. Not too bad, quite nice. Just didn't expect the serving is a bit small. Have a fantastic view facing the sea /beach.

Delicious halloumi burgers and coffee. A few orders in front of us but not a long to wait. Who cares really. The view is spectacular. Friendly young guys serving. I’m hoping they’ll put a new (another) vegetarian option called The Uncle Leo. 😉

Chillin' by the beach, this cafe is the real deal for good vibes and great eats. You definitely can't beat the view here. Picture this: waves crashing, sun shining, paddle boarders around and you're sippin' on some fantastic coffee. Now, let's talk breakfast. They've got everything from yummy bacon and egg rolls to local made artesian sourdough that'll make your taste buds do a happy dance. It's all about fresh, local goodness that hits the spot. The place itself? Super chill. Can seat in front of the counter or on the benches available. The staff is friendly, and the vibe is like a laid-back beach hangout. You'll forget about time as you soak in the sun on the terrace.

Coffee was good, the view and the atmosphere was stunning! Just be prepared for a wait for your coffee. Picked this place on Google recommendations and we were not disappointed. The view back over Bar Beach was fabulous! Staff were very friendly having a ball dancing along to the music whilst churning out coffee. This place does get busy. We waited around 25 minutes for our coffee. There are some tables located at the front of the shop but you would have to be lucky to get one. Car parks likewise. That said, definitely worth checking out. Perhaps just follow my lead and double park in the coffee to avoid the wait for a second one!

Awesome spot right next to the amazing Bar Beach. I had the egg and bacon roll, and it was delicious. Their coffee is no joke, too. Great place to sit back and relax and admire the view.

We visited to go to the arcade and had a good time. The machines dispense tickets still which was a cool old school vibe. Games are $1 or $2, all cash only, and staff were lovely. There aren’t too many games, but it was still enough for us to kill 30 minutes with our 4 year old. We had a good time. The bowling alley looked decent from the quick glance I had.

My husband and I and my visiting adult son and partner had just a great fun time playing ten pin bowling and mini golf. It was a very enjoyable day. The premises inside and out are very clean and tidy. The manager and staff were lovely. Great setup. Would recommend booking ten pin bowling and mini golf in advance as very popular.

Lovely staff, small centre but heeeeaps of variety. 18 hole mini golf was good fun with some shade. Not very accessible for terrain-challenged visitors, but we did take our old pram around the course fine and managed to keep the child asleep. Only a couple of bowling lanes, and no bumpers available, but good fun for our small group. Would recommend booking the lane ahead of time. No food onsite (other than a little lolly bar).

Surprisingly good for a little establishment. Everything is clean, lots of arcade games and interesting ones, not boring ones imo. Laser tag was good as was bowling.

Kids mini golf ⛳️ was a fun experience for the little ones :-) and great games in the main part.

We recently had a bowling night for some of our youth AFL teams at Top Fun and we were very impressed with how well they catered for our large group. They were very easy to work with when planning the night and super accommodating when we were there. Thanks for having us Top Fun :)

We all had an absolute BLAST! We went 2 days in a row (1st day was for the arcade games & a game of 10 pin bowling + the 2nd day was mini golf tournament) We won lots of tickets & enjoyed every minute! Thank you 😊

Stayed 7 nights, 3 would have been better. Arrived to a grumpy woman behind the desk. Clean & well maintained park. Playground needs more, jump pillow was small but effective, mini golf was dull no colour or fun things about it, pool was good although the kids run absolutely rampant in there and the toilets were disgusting one day. Kids riding their electric scooters were flying around the park with absolutely no enforcement. Our van site itself was a good size, ensuite was clean and tidy. Had some yobbo’s pull in behind us and decided to congregate around our bed end not in their allocated site which was just great. Coins to use laundry but couldn’t get money out of reception for it. Games room had a coin changer and that was broken so we had to get cash out of office which was laughable. Wildlife a treat although kangaroo poo everywhere.

We really loved our stay here, we stayed in a bungalow, me and my dog. The owner was lovely and made us feel very welcome. Close location to wollies and walking distance to Main Street. Really appreciated having everything in the bungalow to cook, and chill out. Reverse cycle kept it nice and warm too. Will stay again.

Kids liked the Pool and bouncing pillow. One of the two bbq's wasn't working, the one that was was working was clean and worked well. In the games room the table soccer game is dangerous for younger players as the metal rods had no end caps on them, this meant an eye poking hazard. Our Cabin was run down and lacked maintenance. It wasn't clean. We were disappointed.

Overall quite good experience although could do with improvements contacting reception when issues arise or cleaning needs to be done. Wild life was great for my older parents.

Booked in over Easter for a weeks (school holidays) from the minute I walked in the door of our villa I wanted to leave. We ended up staying 3 nights only for the sake of the kids. The villa was a total disgrace. Over $300 dollar a night (give or take some days because of Easter p/h). See pics. Everything in the villa is super old, over used, falling in pieces. Mismatching dining chairs and missing one chair. What a misery! Rusted bunk beds, the bedroom you can’t even fit to walk from either side of the bed. The bathroom sink peeling off, the kettle full of limescale. The couch dirty and super old looks like they pick up the furniture from the street. Would never ever go back there. Last there are ticks and my partner got bitten. The villas are a NO NO don’t believe the pictures these people are deceivers. Disgusting villa. Awful experience. Old, dirty, super tiny. -1 stars

Parked at the correct position out side reception to check in & an employee reversed one of the parks golf carts into the side of our new motorhome! causing $2000 worth of damage. 2 months later & a lot of running around the motorhome has been repaired & paid for by the park. We were also allotted a way to small a site despite informing the park the size of our motorhome. Our motorhomes slide out was 500mm away from the caravan next door causing a row between nieghbours, when discussed with the parks manager we were then allotted a more suitable site. Worst park we have visited, dont bother, there are better in Merimbula.

Absolutely lovely place, plenty of room, extremely quiet and so lovely and green. Well maintained, clean, and all the amenities you could need. The wildlife is great nightly kangaroos rabbits and cute lizards always up for a feed of fruit. Pool and spa are very clean. Would certainly recommend to anyone wantonness a cabin or caravan site for a holiday like we have. Just 1 Min from the main city centre and great restaurants for meals. Aldi and woollies are also great if you want to stay in. Cabins are very stylish spacious and clean. Reasonable prices, too. Love our stay very much.

Didn’t know such a place existed that’s only 3 hours from Canberra. A small nice place for kids to have fun and adults too. Highly recommended to visit. Lines to rides were short and staff were extremely nice especially the lady at the Kiosk. Thanks for making it a fun day.

In fact, there were more rides than I remembered from previous visits! The toboggans were a massive hit as we must’ve gone down at least 15 times, and each run was just as exciting as the last. We barely squeezed in the water slides because we were so caught up enjoying everything else! 💰 If you're wondering whether it's good value for money.. absolutely. Compared to a trip to the movies, which can easily set us back $150 for the whole family, Magic Mountain offered a full day of entertainment, thrills, and bonding for a similar price. It felt like a genuine investment in joy. 🍟 The staff were fantastic.. friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about creating a great experience. A special shoutout to the lovely lady who served us lunch with a smile and a generous sprinkle of chicken salt (a small touch that made a big impression!). And to the team at the Go Karts.. thank you for your patience and care with our kids, who couldn’t get enough of those rides - so many laughs here! 👥 One moment that really stood out was seeing one of the managers leading a team huddle at the end of the day. It was a simple gesture, but it spoke volumes about the culture and commitment behind the scenes. It’s clear they’re working hard to make Magic Mountain the best it can be. 📝 I’m writing this longer review because I’ve seen some negative ones that just don’t reflect our experience. This place is a gem—fun-filled, family-friendly, and run by people who genuinely care. If you're considering a visit, don’t hesitate. Magic Mountain Merimbula is a fantastic spot to make lasting memories.

Staff are friendly and amazing. Was disappointed half the rides couldn’t open due to the rain or repairs. They would benefit from more things to do like a jumping castle Or soft play for the younger kids they really can’t do anything there everything is for 130cm and up! More games would be great everything felt a bit outdated. Bringing back the tree tops would be amazing even if it was artificial metal poles. The owner needs to spend more money and bring it up to date and add better attractions to justify the $65 entry fee especially for the little kiddies. The place has a pretty bad reputation around Merimbula and I can understand why people want something great and practical for everyone in the family we enjoyed our day but got bored pretty quick after only being able to use the dodgem cars and Grand Prix cars and 2 slides.

Magic Mountain is as exciting as doing your tax. This place has maybe 3 things to do, a water slide (about as big as one you'd find in a backyard pool), go karts (basically just lawnmowers with steering wheels) and a toboggan ride which feels like a death trap, lasts about 20 seconds before being hoisted back to the top which is a 5 minute journey. I went because on their website they have photos of a half decent looking roller-coaster, which upon arrival I was told was out of order that day. Out of order seems like a bit of an understatement though, as when I passed by where it was meant to be it was just a pile of steele beams and tracks. Only positive this place has is that the staff are quite nice. So for a $138 entry fee (for two adult day passes) id say you'd be better off staying at home, taking some magic mushrooms and watching a roller-coaster video on your TV, that'll cost you about $60.

Magic Mountain Merimbula was lovely. Quiet enough that there were barely any wait times, but busy enough that everything was open. The kiosk/ cafe is a bit pricey but kinda expected. You are free to bring your own food and drink into the park though so no pressure to pay past the entry fee. Kids had a blast, plenty to do, and plenty of places to stop and rest, too. Would like to see more bins around the park, though honestly!

We had a VERY lovely time at Magic Mountain! We really appreciate ALL the rides & activities available for kids of all ages! The staff were all absolutely amazing, patient & kind! Pretty disappointing don't trust the website. What a waste of time and money. Went there today so many attractions were shut down or faulty. This place needs some serious reinvestment. Putt putt was run down, dodgem cars that your not aloud to bump each other. Rollercoaster has been removed, maze was ok just covered in spiders. Go carts were slow, smokey and faulty. Just go to the beach you'll save money and have more fun.

This place nails that traditional small-town charm. The service was super friendly and polite, which made the experience even better. We had the Mexican pizza—honestly the best we've ever had! Ordered it with 8 in temp and it was absolutely delicious. “The Lot” was another winner, packed with flavour. Highly recommend if you're in the area and craving a great pizza.

Very reasonable pizza. Thinner and crispier bases, nice fresh toppings. Won't be the best pizza you've had in your life but its honest, tasty, and will shut the kids up.

My last pizza was on the raw side . This time I asked the chef to cook it too well done . Guess what . He did and it was perfect . Don’t ask you don’t receive . Thanks chef .

I got a pizza delivered, first it was all the topping were slid off the base. It had way too much bbq sauce and barely any other toppings. I have been in the area all my life and ordered pizza from here always and this time I am extremely disappointed.

We have ordered from this restaurant a number of times and we’re never disappointed. The toppings are plentiful, it arrives hot and on time with a friendly delivery driver always. It’s fairly priced and satisfies our takeaway pizza cravings! 10/10.

Very good for gluten free options. They have a whole separate area for prepping and I believe a separate oven. I trust them to look after my coeliac child's needs more than any pizza place I've visited. Pizza was okay. Will not go anywhere else for pizza in Merimbula.

During my visit to Merimbula Pizza, I had the opportunity to try their Capriccioso pizza in family size, which was exceptionally delicious. The pizza was topped with shredded ham and an abundance of crispy cheese on top, yet remained surprisingly juicy. The size of the pizza was more than sufficient; it fed two adults fully, with even leftovers for an additional meal. In this regard, Merimbula Pizza undoubtedly delivers both quality and quantity. However, my experience with the ambiance and service at the pizzeria left somewhat mixed feelings. The staff appeared quite weary and disinterested, which somewhat diminished the overall visit experience. Additionally, the lack of indoor seating and only two outdoor tables, which are not protected in case of bad weather, limited the comfort of enjoying the pizza on-site. This could be quite impractical under certain circumstances. Nonetheless, the availability of personal pickup and home delivery allows customers to enjoy Merimbula Pizza's excellent pizzas regardless of the weather conditions or personal preferences regarding the dining environment. This flexibility is a positive aspect that ensures you can still enjoy their delicious pizzas without being constrained to the physical location of the pizzeria. Overall, while my experience with the ambiance and service left room for improvement, the quality and taste of the pizza undoubtedly stand out. Friendly and welcoming club. Food is awesome. We could not fault our meals at all and our bellies are full! Reasonably priced and a great start to our holidays

Went for Bingo then lunch, great fun. Returned for dinner the following day. Dinner was 4* but lunch was 2* re the latter the food clearly reheated and chips v ordinary.

Big club with large restaurant areas. The restaurant menu was extensive, they had something for everyone. We had the special of the night, a chicken Kiev stuffed with lobster and cream cheese sauce, and it was lovely. We also had the Masi Goreng that was very meaty and very authentic. The club facilities were good and the staff were responsive, friendly and efficient. Will definitely return.

What a lovely surprise! If you’re after a great meal, great price, great service and prompt meal delivery, this is the place. We absolutely loved our meals - snapper with chips & veges (special $19.90) and chicken & chorizo risotto ($29). Drinks very reasonably priced. Service was spot on. AND.. we got a courtesy bus to and from here! No views but worth it.

Visited here many times during my stay, safe to say that every meal we had was just fantastic! The staff, always friendly and approachable. Oh and that dessert cabinet was pretty good too! Thanks team! Dinner was an easy choice every night with you!

Nice place for lunch. Roast Beef and vegies was nice and hubby had Lambs Fry with masked potatoe, beans and cauliflower. He enjoyed his meal. Great location in town. Lovely club very clean!

A last minute work trip to this area and I randomly pulled in here and asked about room availability. From the get go, Casper on the front desk was nothing short of helpful, super friendly and provided some great recommendations for places to eat and also for coffee the next morning. The room was great. Retro style with some modern touches and as for the views.....to die for, looking out towards an oyster farm and the ocean. I definitely recommend this place and the next time I'm in Merrimbula I'll be booking a room here. The location could have been less stars, depending on what you want. I wanted views with peace and quiet, and got both.

The motel is an inspired throwback to the ‘Golden Beach Holiday’ era, with the rooms, lounge area, and gardens thoughtfully renovated for today’s tastes and needs. The pool, tennis court and fire pit are fantastic, as are the separated outdoor dining and lounging areas around the garden and pool. With an onsite laundry, an honesty bar and a great team, we were excited to come across this little gem in the heart of the Saphire Coast. Thanks for having us.

Well renovated motel. Everything has been considered down to providing yoga mats, tennis racquets, finska, cricket set etc for use on lawn and tennis court. Lovely fire pit area, very comfortable. The rooms are considered, comfortable bed, coffee pod machine. No fan or aircon in budget rooms so in heat would consider delux with ceiling fan. Casper was very helpful and even called us when our room was ready for an early check in. Lovely motel.

One of/if not the best place I have stayed when away for work ! I would and plan to come back and stay here on a personal holiday, the gentleman that owns it/runs the place is a legend ! Never had such amazing energy and care from someone in a hotel/motel. The room itself was stunning ! Looks old and retro from the outside and the inside is amazing ! The view is unbeatable too. 11/10 for this place couldn’t have been better !

I always books the King Room with the Sea View. I love the decor and the cosy vibe of these rooms. The bed is like sleeping on clouds and the view is SPECTACULAR. I would highly recommend Hillcrest to anyone who wants a great room with a view, along with excellently serviced facilities and a warm welcome.

Top rooms with distant ocean views, great personal service from Caspar. Would definitely recommend. Nice touch waking up to watch the Roos grazing on the lawn, although they might be a headache for the owner!

Good food - garlic & herb focaccia for entree tasted like it was freshly baked, ribs were tender and lobster was delicious plus amazing strawberry daiquiri! Staff seemed not as friendly but they are nice even helped us take family photos from different angles lol thank you!

Food was great, we had the pork ribs and the seafood plate. The restaurant was busy and service was a little slow but food made up for it. Wait staff were friendly but some a little younger and inexperienced. Not a deal breaker though, they need to start somewhere... we would return.

We really enjoyed our meal here. The lamb special was a generous portion cooked perfectly. The seafood grill was divine, I’d happily come back again and again just for that dish. Service was a bit curt, the only let down really.

Excellent fish and chips with salad and a beer. Across the road from Boggy Creek (more beautiful than it sounds). Fast and friendly service. Relaxed atmosphere.

Cosy seaside restaurant, parked right next to Merimbula lake, that is very warm and welcoming. Seafood was fresh and delicious. Staff are friendly and the place inviting.

Great service, lovely inside. Food was amazing. We shared the grilled seafood, with 2 small entrees and of course sweets. Will go back when there next time.

Got a take away, got 2 pizzas, scallops and full rack of ribs. Pizzas and scallops was ok but nothing to write home about. The biggest let down was the 12 hour slow cooked ribs, they was so dry, hard with no flavour. The restaurant was empty, staff was nice.

We stayed for 4 nights recently. Fabulous location and great amenities. Our room was upgraded which was much appreciated. A wonderful spot if you have kids. Loved the coffee at the beach Cafe - a close walk. Incredible beach access. Thank you - cannot wait to come back!

Great campsite close to the beach. 3rd party Morning coffee just outside the grounds overlooking the surf. The camping facilities are great with camp kitchens, barbecues, pizza oven. We like the ensuite toilets for camper vans. 2 pool areas, with "splash water" park for kids and an air pillow for safer trampoline exercising for younger children.

Location of this park and amenities drew us to it. However the service we recieved was horrible. The staff member was not helpful or really friendly. Instead of trying to help accommodate us it was a straight computer say no type! We have a very standard size van and know where we can fit.. so maybe next time give us the option of trying it out! But we found a better park for cheaper anyway! So blessing in disguised.

This is a hard review to do. We didn't get the accommodation view we were told we would have when we booked. The cabin we got was fine, spacious & had everything. Except for things we needed to keep things clean like they want guests to do. The park itself was clean & well maintained, but cabin wasn't, we left it a lot cleaner than what we found. Will be contacting Nrma head office with our complaints.

Cannot fault this place. The park has a lot to keep the kids happy and surrounded by the water where we got to see whales and dolphins. Room was clean and beds were so comfy

Beautiful stay with an ocean view. We could see the sunrise and even whales from our room. Nice beach nearby and great fun for kids with the waterslide and jumping pillow.

Highly recommend this place! There are plenty of facilities for kids, and the staff are very friendly. My little ones had a blast, and we really enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

Such an incredibly beautiful spot to stop and take in the view of the beach. Plenty of grass to sit and enjoy a picnic. An absolute must-see if your in the area!

A lovely beach, depending on the weather and tide it is generally more of a surf beach but there is a lagoon and outlet that will be suitable for calmer swimming if the surf is a bit much. Regardless go there just for the views

Car park with a view!! You can also take the stairs to the beach or take the path on the right and get some amazing ocean views. A must do when visiting Merimbula :)

Worth a stop if in the area. Beautiful white sand surf beach one side and Black Lagoon the other. It was a wild and windy day when we stopped. Surfers were out and the sky in the distance was dramatic with stormy clouds and a bit of sun peepiing out which made for some good photos. Nice big car park too. Well worth a visit.

Suitable for all, with facilities, BBQ, seats and a decent area by the water to enjoy and watch the great outdoors. Pelican heaven.

This is the best beach for kids!! It's beautiful and so clean. We could see lots of fishes. Not much wave so very safe for kids to swim. They have toilet and quick shower area(not private, open area, enough for quick wash). We will definitely come back again.

Bbq's and toilets as well as a play area with two big slides and one little slide. Coffee Van open 9 to 4 daily, takes eftpos and cash. Sells snack foods. Park is right on the beach and has decent parking. The only thing keeping it from 5 star for me, is lack of fence around play area. Still a great place for families.

I have gone to this place so many times for my kids to play on the play ground, and they really enjoyed it. Other people came and have some other activities like BBQ, birthday, fishing, splash fun's. As a mother, I can come out of home with your little ones and meet other parents and share experience showing and giving my kids healthy socialization. Loved it.

A great place to chill out looking over the lake or take the kids to play. Plus there is a coffee cart there.

The safest place to look after children... As a family, with 6 little children, we enjoyed so much this environment, giving children the most exciting time...

nice ice-cream, service was ok, but bit over priced and only received a tiny scoop. only place in town so they can do what they want. from how busy it was tonight i hope another shop opens. the store sold so many things and flavours of ice-cream including belts. feel like they need to rein in their options and lower the prices.

So many flavours to choose from! The ice cream was super creamy and flavourful, I really enjoyed it. The staff were very patient and kind which was helpful when I was struggling to decide on a flavour. I will say the prices were a little expensive for a single scoop and the wait was quite long. Overall a lovely place and seems like a local and tourist favourite!

Decided to travel 30mins with visiting family to grab an ice cream only to arrive and find the store closed at 430pm when it states they shut at 5pm. Ended up getting desert from Macdonalds. Seems a lot of people aren’t very happy since the new owner has taken over.

One of the best ice cream shops I’ve been to, they have a great selection of flavours and desserts along with a variety of hotdogs. I had a caramel concerto although the banana split looked pretty good. Recommend everyone to go there. Also you can have the kitchen sink with thirty scoops of any flavours you want.

Many options, four stars as you cannot try the ice-cream at all! But the rainbow flavour we had was yummy!

The owner / manager seems to enjoy correcting pronunciation more than selling ice cream. Perhaps you should have been an English teacher mate?

This small movie theatre is in the heart of a busy tourist trail on the Far South Coast of New Wales. Merimbula is a buzzing beautiful town with the population of 4000 people. Including the entire Bega Valley, the council population exceeds 26000 people. Picture Showman is a great establishment servicing the entire council and probably any tourist passing by. The beauty of the picture Show man, you can catch great Hollywood movie as well some of the independent movies and international film festival choices. Love the casual and great selections. This is a great place for a treat for a movie night.

Always a lovely experience at picture show man. Check online for session times and pricing. Can also order tickets online which is handy. Great for a country cinema, though would be lovely to have some nice newer chairs.

Love my local movie house! Bang- on up-to-date movies with hot popcorn and coffee..hell yes!!

A quaint little theatre with just 2 screens, although the service and prices are good, the quality of the seating and projector are visibly dated. I don't think anything has been upgraded in 19 years since I was last here. Might be worth going to visit if you're just on holiday and want something to do or you love the theatre experience. In most cases if you're a movie lover you'd do better with a high quality OLED and speaker system at home.

The cinema is my "Second Home". I can often be seen there with Choc Top ice cream in hand or checking what's upcoming. I will probably be there again this afternoon.

This cinema is so outdated the chairs are so uncomfortable and so many broken pieces, the screen and audio is in need of an upgrade, and the bathrooms are too small and very dated. The only good thing is the service, the staff are lovely. Please upgrade!

We arrived very early for our tee time and Lorraine in the pro shop got us organised very quickly. The course is excellent, even though the greens were cored recently. Gorgeous testing par 3’s, and plenty of par 5’s. Lorraine was equally helpful at the end of our round, and we left feeling this is a friendly, first class, golf club. Highly recommend.

We drove 7 hours from Melb to golf here. One of the best experience. We were welcome very well by the lady at the pro shop. The whole 18 holes have their own unique view to the Pacific Ocean. We had a lovely lunch at Tura Beach Country Club when we holidayed with friends for the recent public holiday weekend which we spent at Merimbula. All our meals were tasty and the friendly staff were also very efficient and he views outside were spectacular while we dined.

Had a great experience on Saturday night. service was fantastic and very quick to receive our meals. Meals were delicious. Definitely will be coming back. 100% recommended

During our recent visit we had the pleasure of meeting one of your staff members Hannah. Wow Hannah truly made our experience memorable. She welcomed us with a bright smile and genuine enthusiasm. Sorry to say, been here many times and always fails to impress. The food is very ordinary. Staff seem a bit friendlier lately however. Still a long way short of other clubs in this area . Best views of any local club. Sit near the window and chill. Update - greatly improved of late, food is better, service is better. Can recommend again, I'm very happy to say. Will be coming every week instead of twice a year.

Loved this cafe - food, staff, view, atmosphere are all fantastic. Ate here twice while visiting the area, lunch one day, coffee and cake another day. Served both times by MJ, who as well as being friendly, cheerful and efficient, also makes the best coffee ever, just perfect 👌Delicious home made cakes made by the Cafe owner 😋 Will definitely come back when I visit the area again

Sunny’s Kiosk is such a gem! Hands down, the best toastie in the world is their veg toastie with avo. The view from the café is absolutely stunning, the kind of spot you could sit for hours. And the bonus? You can grab a coffee, cocktail or toastie, then head straight out on the water with their boat hire right out the front. Perfect combo of good food, good fun. Our morning walk was 2.6kms e/w out from our digs near the bridge along the lovely old wooden boardwalk, and ducked into Sunny's for coffee & cake. Excellent long blacks, great Persian Love cake, stunning views & superb service & atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We hired a 2 person kayak and thoroughly enjoyed it! It was around Merimbula lake and it was beautiful. Perfect conditions and the staff were fantastic. Super friendly, professional and helpful. We enjoyed a cheeky glass of bubbles and chips! This is a must try!

This was an absolutely wonderful and memorable experience! The service was excellent, location was perfect, the menu was exciting and healthy, the food was deliciously outstanding. We were sorry that we discovered this gem on the last day of our holiday as after our first experience we wanted more! Take a walk along the Merimbula board walk through the magnificent mangrove forests (1.75 kms) and then stop in at Sunnys!

We got the cauliflower falafel salad and the ham and cheese toastie - both were delicious. It was overlooking the waters and had a great view.

We had a fantastic lunch at Bar Superette - everything from start to finish was spot on. The playlist set the perfect, relaxed Sunday afternoon vibe, without being overpowering. The staff were attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Food-wise, every dish was perfect. Loved the fresh oysters, chargrilled octopus and tuna dish. Oh and the fresh, warm bread was amazing! It was all washed down with some lovely wine. A really special place and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended!

Superette exceeded expectations from the very first bite. The level of detail in every dish was incredible - creative, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Each plate looked as good as it tasted. The menu is designed to share, which makes it easy to try more of the dishes.. and you’ll want to! The small and share plates are some of the best we’ve had, each with standout flavours and clever combinations. The chef clearly knows his craft and isn’t afraid to get creative in the kitchen, bringing unexpected elements together in a way that just works. It’s similar to top Sydney spots like Caravin or Bar Copain (though I actually preferred it - the creativity and flavour combinations were next level). The cocktails were just as impressive, balanced, fresh, and thoughtfully put together. The whole experience had that relaxed yet refined feel, with a team that clearly cares about what they’re serving. It’s one of those places that shows just how good regional dining can be - stylish, inventive, and genuinely memorable. Five out of five.

Another fantastic experience at Bar Superette. I love the wall of wines either for dine in or takeaway instead of a traditional wine list. The atmosphere was buzzing and the food was absolutely delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection. The cauliflower with Roquefort was a great side. The cheese to finish was perfect: We would definitely recommend visiting Bar Superette whilst visiting Merimbula.

A truly delicious, creative and thoroughly enjoyable meal. Paired with professional service and a trendy, warm atmosphere. The deli plate, anchovy toast and hanger steak were favourites. What an incredible experience, 5/5.

Went here as a couple for a Friday night dinner and were seated immediately. The standout dishes for us were the taramasalata with radish, and the stracciatella - super flavourful and fun to eat. Perfect service. We had a great time and would recommend to friends.

Can I give 10 Stars? Superette is a must. Tyrone was brilliant as he paired wines with our food. Very knowledgeable and passionate about his wines and food. The meal was totally delicious. 100/100. Highly recommended.

A great place to come with friends or on a date. The plates are shareable, the drinks are impressive, and the vibe is cosy, especially with the record player on. I only had drinks this occasion but hope to be back! Everyone was raving over the food.

We placed an order over the phone, and upon arriving, we were surprised to find that the staff had already decided our order was for takeaway, without even asking us. When we requested to dine in, we were rudely denied. The person at the counter was unprofessional and showed no courtesy. Additionally, we only ordered parathas, but unfortunately, they were completely undercooked—almost raw. It felt like we were served dough instead of properly cooked food. This experience was extremely disappointing, both in terms of service and food quality. We hope you take this feedback seriously and ensure better customer treatment and food standards moving forward. Don’t defame India by using Indian name. Staff is not Indian, management is not Indian, cook is not Indian.

I'm thoroughly impressed with this restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious, with creative dishes that are both visually appealing and packed with flavor. The staff are warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about the food they're serving.

Legacy of India is actually Nepalese cuisine, not authentic Indian food. The dishes were undercooked and lacked proper Indian flavors. We asked for Indian pickle but got Nepali chutney instead. Staff was rude and didn’t let us dine in even though we never asked for takeaway. Very disappointing experience This place does not reflect true Indian food or hospitality. I would not recommend it if you are expecting authentic Indian cuisine and good service.

Uncooked aloo paratha There is a worst experience happen in Australia regarding restaurant food. There is an Indian restaurant but staff is not Indian and spoil the Indian food. One of the guy who was worked at front desk He had very bad behaviour and rude we asked him to sit here for dine in but he told us u can not seat here we already pack your food. I warmly request to franchise of legecy of India please remove this staff because we will recommend all over Indian friends to don’t go here for food. There is another Indian restaurant here please go there and try it but we recommend never ever go to here.

HORRIBLE experience - would rate it 0 stars if possible I had ordered a vegetarian dish, mind you it mas marked as VEGETARIAN on the menu. And guess what? It had pieces of shredded chicken in it. And not just one small piece. It was a few big chunks of meat. As a strict vegetarian, this deeply betrayed my trust in this restaurant. I completely lost my appetite after this incident. I expected better from a place with a such a good rating and I am very disgusted, disappointed and disrespected.

A wonderful Indian restaurant a little bit tucked away in Merimbula. Food was authentic and delicious. Mo Mo were fabulous as well as the Lamb Rogan Josh. The naan and roti are amazing. Attentive, friendly staff. Keep up the great work!

This was our first time eating at Legacy of India. The food was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, they were short staffed, but the food certainly made up for it. The beef malahari, butter chicken, and lamb korma were beautiful I would recommend eating here, and we will be returning.

This place may be priced a bit higher than the rest of the places in Merimbula however you are getting excellent quality food and service. The entrees were amazing, beautifully presented, wonderfully made, any questions we asked the waitress knew the answer straight away. She was incredibly knowledgeable. For our mains the chef actually came out and presented the food to us and remembered our friend who had been before! I haven’t been to a restaurant that was fancy and so wonderfully comfortable. The surf and turf main was to die for, the steak melted and only needed a butter knife to cut through. It was cooked to perfection. The lemon and raspberry crème brûlée was sweet and sour a perfect desert to round it out. If you’re looking for fresh quality seafood, top quality beef, amazingly presented Australian dishes come to Tidal. I simply can’t believe this place was empty for lunch on a Saturday. You are missing out if you don’t visit here when in the area.

We had dinner at Tidal and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dining experience that ticks all the essential boxes. Innovative, flavoursome and beautifully prepared and presented food, excellent service and a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The menu was thoughtfully curated and showcased beautiful local produce prepared by a highly skilled and talented chef. Complimentary bread and a delicious canape were much appreciated touches rarely found in dining establishments now, as was the chef personally speaking to diners post meal. The drinks selection was suitably extensive to ensure there is a beverage to suit everyone and any occasion. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive but not intrusive. This is a restaurant we will certainly return to and by far the best restaurant in Merimbula and surrounds. Every aspect of Tidal was exemplary.

Lunch at Tidal Restaurant was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a lovely vibe that made it truly enjoyable. The food was absolutely top-notch - every dish was a masterpiece! Each plate was delicately and beautifully crafted, with perfect plating, exquisite flavours, and just the right portion sizes. Fiona was attentive and incredibly professional, her food and wine recommendations perfect! Gavin (chef) taking the time to serve and describe some of the dishes at your table. A nice connection with the kitchen, i thought. Attention to detail was impeccable - refilled wine glasses and water as soon as it was needed. Overall, i was pleasantly surprised of the standard of Tidal in the small seaside town of Merimbula. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Had the best experience dining here. The couple who own this restaurant are so incredibly passionate about their food and local produce. I have no words for how special this dining experience was... You so rarely meet a restaurant where the chef is this passionate and great at what he does and actively socialises with his patrons. The food is incredible! I could eat here every day. Book a table by the window. On a nice day they open the windows and it's the best way to spend your day!

Absolutely incredible food, wines and cocktails. The staff go above and beyond. The chef personally checked in on us before we ordered, everything is presented beautifully with incredible flavours. 10/10 experience, would make the 7 hour drive back to taste everything from the menu! Very hard to get into. However when you are there this place delivers. Actually OVER delivers. The food is next level. Takes you into another realm. PERFECTION. I Would go Out of my way to recommend this place. And the wine and cocktails complement the menu perfectly.

Beautiful location overlooking the water. Fast and efficient service and most importantly delicious food. I had the scallops followed by blue fin tuna as my main and a delicate chocolate hazelnut mousse with salted caramel beads to finish. Great presentation and delicious sauces that accompanied the dishes!

The food was awful. We were the first in to order but some people who knew the owner walked out the back to great the cook after we had been waiting 15 minutes. That table was served before us. Once our food came out the coffee was ordered take away but given in a mug, the hash browns were put on the owners mates table accidentally then transferred to our table anfter being placed under heat lamps for 10 minutes instead of recooked. The holandaise sauce was inedible. The bread had a huge hole in the middle so it was basically crust. We won’t go again. It’s a shame because we come very visit and this is the first time it’s been awful.

I recommend their pho or take away sushis. I am very happy to this restaurant as a local option

I ordered the chicken and gravy roll It was disgusting, the chicken had so much fat on it and it seemed to be that chicken from a packet the texture was weird, I couldn't even eat it

The location of this cafe is nothing special and the atmosphere and aesthetic are standard. The food was nice and the coffee will get you by when you need some caffeine. Overall, a good experience.

Ordered a caramel almond latte which came out straight away. Also ordered a BLT, food was fresh & hit the spot. Overall coffee was good, staff were kind & attentive. Didn’t have to wait long at all. Everything was clean & lots of space to sit inside & not cramped at all. Grateful this cafe was open New Year’s Day! Thanks guys

We regularly go Infuse for lunch, and then mostly order fish and chips. The menu is quite extensive but the fish and chips are so good we never order anything else!! The decor is standard but always clean and the staff very friendly, fast and efficient. As a matter of fact we're going tomorrow so we may see there!!
