Very lucky to have a place like this basically in our backyard! There were a few flags up preventing us from being able to walk all the way around. As we were visiting in winter all the beautiful hydrangeas were unfortunately not flowering. I can only imagine how beautiful it would look during summer! Was relatively quiet when we visited which made for a lovely experience.

Beautiful and well-kept spot, especially when the gardens are in full bloom. The sinkhole itself is impressive and easy to access, with plenty of photo opportunities and shaded areas to relax. Parking right at the site is limited, so it’s best to use the larger parking area shown on the map just a short walk away. Entry is free, and visiting in the late afternoon is extra special when the possums come out.

Umpherston Sinkhole is one of Mount Gambier’s most beautiful and peaceful attractions. The moment you walk down into the sunken garden, you’re surrounded by lush greenery, hanging vines, and perfectly landscaped terraces. It feels like stepping into a hidden world. The place is very well maintained, with clear pathways and plenty of spots to sit, relax, and take photos. In the evening, the resident possums come out, adding a bit of charm and excitement to the visit. Best of all, it’s free and easily accessible. A must-visit spot in Mount Gambier for nature lovers, families, and anyone looking for a unique and calming experience.

The sinkhole is easily accessible with free, nearby parking. Visitors will be impressed by its look, featuring carefully landscaped gardens, stairways, and paths for exploration. The surrounding park is also well-maintained. It's especially worth a visit in the evening to watch the possums emerge from the crevices.

During our stay in Mount Gambier, we made sure to visit Umpherston Sinkhole, also known as Balumbul, and it really lived up to the reputation of being one of the best free attractions in town. Located just off Jubilee Highway on the edge of Mount Gambier, it’s easy to access with plenty of parking available nearby. Entry is free, and while the gardens close at dusk, you can return in the evening to see the resident possums, which are friendly and often come down looking for food. Walking down the steps into the sinkhole, you’re greeted with a beautifully maintained sunken garden. The terraces are lined with flowers, hydrangeas, lush ferns, and trailing vines that make the entire place feel almost magical. The garden dates back to 1886, when James Umpherston first transformed the limestone cavity into a peaceful retreat. Today, it’s still well kept and offers plenty of great photo opportunities. Around the site you’ll also find toilets, a kiosk and picnic areas, making it a lovely place to spend a relaxing hour. Do note, there are a lot of bees in one corner of the sinkhole—harmless if left alone, but worth being mindful of if you’re allergic. An absolute must-visit when in Mount Gambier.

Umpherston Sinkhole is absolutely stunning, a true hidden gem in Mt Gambier. The gardens are beautifully maintained, and walking down into the sinkhole feels like stepping into a secret paradise. It’s peaceful, lush, and full of character. We loved exploring the pathways, taking in the greenery, and watching the bees and bird create theirs homes in the ancient cave walls. Definitely a must visit if you’re in the area, photos don’t do it justice!

What a great info centre, We went there tuesday the 22nd. It really ties in the whole area from Englebracht caves and the diving under MT Gambier. All the caves systems, Fossils and so much more information. Free to enter, toilets available, Wheelchair accessible, Close to public transport. The two lady's that were on shift were great and easy to talk with. A very pleasant place to stop on a holiday

A must-stop for anyone visiting Mount Gambier! The staff here are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable they helped me plan my day perfectly and pointed out some hidden gems I would’ve missed otherwise. The centre is clean, well-organised, and has lots of brochures, maps, and local info. You can also discover all the best places to visit in Mount Gambier, from the Blue Lake to nearby caves and gardens. They even sell souvenirs like bags, accessories, and bottled Blue Lake water a great way to take home a little piece of Mount Gambier as a memory. There’s plenty of parking, clean toilets, and some interactive displays that make it fun for families. Definitely worth stopping here before exploring the area!

I wish I got the woman's name who was the first of all the centres we visited to actually greet us and ask if we needed anything, and actually got out a map then showed us where and what ....Friday last week 7/2/25 Thankyou.. , you were then at Engelbrecht Caves with Sanjit, who was equally as good as you,..t.his knowledge of the caves was amazing, for someone who has only being doing it for a year.... The other places you sent us to.... also awesome,...have added photos Of Umpherston Cave, Tantanoola Cave, Englebert, Little Blue Lake..Allandale sinkhole, confusing to find, yet right in your face, it's in the middle of the road, shame they don't clean it up so we can at least see where and how the divers enter...something the council could do....so all the info you have us was well worth it ...Thanks again...To both you and Sanjit

I went to the visitor centre at the sink-hole. There is a range of souvenirs, local drinks, photos, general information from around the area. The assistant behind the counter was friendly and helpful in with purchase. Make sure you call in, mount gambier is such a beautiful place, you won't be dissapointed.

Helpful staff and lots of info about the area. They’ve got maps, brochures, and a few displays if you’re into local history or geology. Good spot to stop if you’re new to town or want to plan a few things to see. Clean and easy to find with plenty of parking.

So much information and very welcoming and friendly staff. You can also buy the soft drink that is made locally in Mt Gambier. My daughter loved the blue lemonade as it turned her mouth blue! Good walk through for kids with a bit on history about the place.

Must visit. It got a little museum at the back, fun for everyone to have a look. Kids could get a $1 pack to do while adults read or enjoy the display.

This place is fantastic! Great vibe, super friendly staff, and a unique, delicious menu. I came in for lunch and enjoyed it so much that I came back the next morning for breakfast. Both meals were excellent. The ingredients are top quality and everything was full of flavour. The big breakfast could be a little larger, but the portion size didn’t take away from the overall quality. Definitely one of the best spots to eat in Mount Gambier. Highly recommend!

Everything just perfect. The Shashuka was spot on, Great flavor. Chili Crab scramble has kimchi in it. They made the kimchi smell less strong so the whole dish is very harmonized. Perfect place to eat.

Amazing breakfast, pricey but so worth it! Apple Crumble Oats were absolutely delicious and everything was so fresh, partner got soft shell crab chilli scram and it was soo unreal best scrambled eggs ever. Absolutely recommended if you’re in the area and want a fancy but amazing breakfast. Juice was so fresh and rejuvenating.

☕️Lovley, cute spot for good coffee and food. I ordered the breakfast burrito and a cappuccino as take away and it was great. While I was waiting inside I had a look around and it felt very comfy and warm. The staff was great, very friendly and efficient. Coffee definitely hit the spot. Would come again!

The best breakfast place we’ve ever been to! Everything was so fresh and delicious. Especially the Cocowhip (and best coffee)— it was like coconut ice cream for us, and we still can’t forget it. We haven’t found anything like it anywhere else! 🌴✨

We went to Mt. Gambier for short escape and found this cute place for brunch. We ordered Egg Salmon Benedict and Shoft Shell Crab. It was sooo yummy specially the shoft shell crab. Huge portion, the chili oil made top. Soooo yummmyy. The staff were friendly, quick service, the cafe was 10/10 clean and beautiful for brunch.

One of my all time favourite regional cafes in Australia! We made a detour on our way home to Adelaide from Halls Gap just to have lunch here. This place never disappoints. Food, coffee, juices, matcha all spot on. Real hot chocolate and tasty treats. Fresh takeaway salads as well. Don’t miss this place!

This Cave Garden is far less good compared with the Umpherston Sinkhole, which is a few minutes drive away. If you have visited the Umpherston Sinkhole and don't have enough time, I highly suggest you skipping this Cave Garden. It's pretty small, less nice gardening, with rubbishs inside the deep sink hole. I reckoned better maintenance might make this Cave Garden more beautiful and attractive (perhaps lack of fund from council?). As the Umpherston Sinkhole is so stunning and it is such a nice underground garden, and situated so close to this Cave Garden, otherwise this one might still be good for visiting.

Made a short visit to the sinkhole garden. Look beautiful on the outside but after you take a short walk down and look carefully into the hole, you will see plenty of junk inside. We spotted a shopping trolley, chairs and tyre rims! What is wrong with those people who threw it in?! Nevertheless it still look beautiful from the outside.

The Cave Garden is a unique natural feature situated right in the middle of the city's bustling center, offering remarkably easy access. ​Convenient street parking is available nearby, and an hour is more than enough time to explore. While undeniably accessible, it is significantly smaller and less aesthetically dramatic than the Umpherston Sinkhole. Unfortunately, the garden's natural beauty is somewhat diminished by scattered litter, likely brought in by the wind, which has a noticeably damping effect on the overall experience.

For such a naturally beautiful landmark, it was incredibly disappointing to find it filthy, unkempt and full of litter. We'd been so impressed by all the other beautiful sights in and around Mt Gambier. This was a huge let-down and was heart-breaking to see how this beautiful place is been mistreated and neglected.

It's ok, can imagine it comes to life more when the water is flowing. Visit here before umpherston sinkhole so you're not completely underwhelmed. Still a nice spot to see, just a shame about some of the rubbish that people have thrown in (broom head, hub-caps).

The Cave Garden is a well-known attraction in the heart of Mount Gambier, located directly behind City Hall. This large limestone sinkhole has historic significance, as it was once the original water source for many of the town’s early settlers. For me, it’s a place I’ve visited many times since childhood, and while it remains an iconic site, I feel it has seen far better days. The surrounding grounds are well maintained, with lawns, pathways, and signage in good condition. There are multiple viewing levels accessible by both stairs and ramped paths, making it easy for most visitors to get a close look. From the upper level, you can look down into the sinkhole, while the lower paths let you get nearer to the greenery and rock formations. Inside the sinkhole itself, however, the flora could use more attention. It feels a little overgrown and untidy compared to how it once looked, and during my visit, I noticed some unwanted rubbish on the cave floor, which was disappointing. A cleanup and refresh would really help restore its appeal. Entry is free, and it’s open daily, so it’s still worth stopping by if you’re in the city centre. With some extra care, the Cave Garden could easily return to being a standout attraction.

We stumbled across this beautiful space in the heart of Mt Gambier. A hidden gem that is beautifully cared for, lush and green and surrounded by a lovely rose garden. With viewing platforms and an easy stair climb, this local sight is a must see.

I was on a mission to find some new shoes, and grab a few items I left behind accidentally which actually included my shoe bag. Central shops had a great choice of shoes, Williams shoes were amazing, Kmart had everything the Drakes supermarket was missing, and there's a decent food court where I got some sushi.

Nice little shopping Centre & Plenty of parking. The outside and surroundings could do with some TLC. Plenty of shops and a good variation. Quite a few options in the food court.

New shop ( silly sollys ) opened making the atmosphere great and happy for all the other retailers doung a great trade because of it.

Visited the centre to go to kmart, parking is a bit of a nightmare with the car park accross the road closed off to the public. The centre is well set out and i hot what i needed.

It’s becoming run down and overpriced for renters, some brands that where in there did admittedly go into receivership, but it is very outdated, minimal food service, but it has just gotten Silly Sollys, which apart from Kmart you would probably just go to the market place

Great views of the Blue lake. Very easy to get to. When we went there was easy parking in the street. Quite popular and a brief simple description of the lake and its current use. When in mount Gambier this is a must do!

Wow! The Blue Lake looked stunning in the hot summer sun. It was cobalt blue and glistening in the sun. Free entry and parking nearby. Well worth a diversion en route between Adelaide and Melbourne.

Before I came to this Blue Lake, I didn't know there were volcanoes ever existed in Australia. The information sign told me that the Blue Lake was in fact a volcano carter, but filled up with water now. The day during my visit was cloudy. The Lake was not in a deep blue colour that showed in other people's shared photos. It's one of the few stunning geotechical features in Mount Gambier so you must come to visit it if you are visiting or passing through this little lovely town.

Was cool sight to see doesn't cost anything and parking was easy.

Gives you amazing angles to click pictures of the mesmerizing Blue Lake that changes its color to different shades of blue depending on the color of the sky above! Good to visit with children, they will love this place that's full of nature!

Blue Lake is a amazing spot with stunning blue water and easy walking tracks. The views are beautiful, and there are lots of great places to take photos. I really liked the love locks — such a lovely idea that adds a romantic touch!

Visited the blue lake while it was raining, lots of platforms and nice drive around. Pretty on even the most miserable of days.

Amazing and beautiful- would be nice to have more parking for people that have a disability. Some one parked over the entry point from the road so we needed to go up the gutter and onto the path which is difficult for someone with a walking cane. People need to be respectful of others.

We stopped in here for lunch as it's across the road from one of the sink holes. Very quiet, not many people in there. I used the QR code to order our food and drink, and it was pretty fast. We enjoyed the food.

Lovely seating options under a covered outdoor area with great gas heaters inside and out to keep you warm. Just lost a star for weak coffee, which is to many people's liking, but when a black coffee is brown, you already know it will just taste more like water, which it sadly did. The food was great though, with my extra crispy bacon on my eggs benedict cooked perfectly, and perfect hollandaise, and the chocolate sauce on the waffles was thick and decadent.

Disappointed to say the least. This was lamb. My friend and I both had the same thing, and even she said the meat in the focaccia was definitely lamb, not steak. It's even cut in strips like they use in their lamb wrap. I told the waitress it was lamb, and she went to the chef, came back, and said no, it's our beef, not lamb. I know what lamb looks like and tastes like. I don't appreciate being made to feel like an idiot and like I was the one in the wrong. They did offer to make another one, but why would I want another one. I was in the mood for a steak focaccia, not lamb. I didn't want another lamb one! After a few bites, combined with being made to feel like the customer was definitely wrong and stupid, I ended up losing my appetite altogether. Really disappointed. The meals Gere just keep getting worse everytime I go here. Sad, because I used to love it before it was sold by the previous owners!!!

Arrived to mount Gambier later on a Sunday evening. Ordered a delivery small Carbonara, cheesy garlic bread and chicken caesar salad. Arrived hot, tasty and well presented (for takeaway). Carbonara was creamy, bacony goodness, bonus was the spring onions still had crunch and pasta was perfectly cooked and coated in sauce

A decent place for lunch and breakfast at Mt. Gambier. They have wide variety of options. One of very few cafes with all day menu at Mt. Gambier. Really loved the coffee. We've ordered big breakfast and french croissant. Would have been better with greens, beans and mushrooms than heaps of Bacon rashers and chorizo. Even croissant was served with lot of bacon rashers which is not my liking.

Went for desserts on our visit to Mt. Gambier. Must visit, lovely spot for savoury and sweet toothed alike. Place was clean and the staff were lovely. Four star, took them long before we received our order.

Update: Best eggs and service. Upgraded to 5 stars. Staff are attentive, atmosphere is calm and food is excellent.. a minor request was no problem for chef and results were top flight. : Family breakfast winner. Pancakes & milkshakes for kids were a winner and Eggs Benedict were just right. Highly recommend this venue for meals at reasonable prices, served by friendly staff in comfy surroundings.

Adventuring in Mount Gambier, my son and I had intended to dine at another restaurant which was closed, so we stumbled into Casa de Tequila. It seems quite new, paint smells like it’s still drying. We were seated immediately, which was lovely, though took a little while to be served (I’m still not sure whether it’s table or counter service). I ordered a trio of dips for entree, my son chose the chicken tacos and I thought I’d go for the quesadilla (normally I’d definitely go a burrito). Indeed the menu is replete with options, as is the drinks list, though it’s not overwhelmingly large. The staff are polite and food gets out pretty quickly. It was fine, maybe a little underwhelming to be honest, but tasted good. Might not go back there, but it was ok.

Really nice service, the steak was on the rare side which I mentioned to them, so they didn't get me to pay for it, which was really nice, but everything else was quite good.

We stopped here for dinner whilst in Mount Gambier. Finally we found decent jalapeno poppers. I had the pork ribs and my wife had the beef enchilada. Both meals were quite tasty and the serving sizes were more than adequate.

Food was decent, but amount if Guac for the chip was hilarious. It was like for a child and even using it sparingly, we ran out of guac half way through our chips. Also you guys need to get a better sauce for the churros because while the Crurros were nice they were let down terrible dipping sauce. I mean we are paying enough for it then please provide better and enough quality food.

As soon as you enter your nostrils are enticed by the subtle yet amazing aromas of what others are eating and what is being prepared in the kitchen. Friendly staff guide you to your table. You are given menus to ponder on. So many delicious choices. Got a couple of margaritas to enjoy. Ordered the Calamari À La Plancha and the Crunchy Jalapeño`S Poppers to start. As we sipped our margaritas we watched as food was served to other customers. Licking our lips at the sight and smells of the meals as they travelled past. For our mains we ordered the Burrito Bowl and Fajitas (Comes With 2 Tortillas) I opted for the chicken option. No words can praise the fajitas enough. I'm a big boy and it filled me up. To the point that I had no room for desert. Compliments to the chef and all the staff. Thank you for the experience

Had a lovely meal and a few drinks, nice selection of nonalcoholic for those who don’t drink. The only thing to improve would be some warmth in the building, everyone was rugged up and some music wouldn’t go astray to build the atmosphere. That being said the food was wonderful and the servers were very friendly, one mistake with a drink was easily resolved. Look forward to eating again in the future

Unfortunately the service was really slow. They needed 20 minutes until we could place our order. The we waited for the drinks and the meals 30 minutes after 30 minutes they came and told us they lost the note with our order. And we ordered again. As an excuse the brought us some Tortillas. And this was a really nice gesture which I really appreciate. Then we received our main dish. The starter was still missing. After we had finished with the main dish the starter arrived, but unfortunately it was the wrong one. As an excuse the wanted to give us some free drinks but we were finished. Maybe we were at the wrong time in the wrong place but if you order the second time because your order was lost, they should do everything that it goes right. They told us several times that they have a lot of work, but the restaurant wasn't full and there were a lot of waiters. Maybe they should try to organize their business another way. Too bad that everything went wrong because the food was really delicious. Ans I also appreciate their way to excuse but if you are hungry and you want to eat it's not too good...

Ordered a big breakfast, was edible and filling. Poached eggs were over done. I read the menu wrong not realising the mushroom, tomato and spinach were sautéed with hoisin sauce. I assumed it was just the spinach, I personally didn't like it and didn't eat it. Juice was lovely. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Pretty good meal today, we had the Chicken Schnitzel burger with a side of wedges and serving of pancakes, which was excellent, thanks

This licensed Cafe is right in the middle of Mount Gambiers town centre so it makes it a great place to pop in for all day breakfasts, lunch and coffees. I dined in. They have indoor and outdoor seating. An extensive menu as well as many cakes and other sweet treats in their dessert cabinet. There is also the daily specials board. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was served quickly and was fresh and tasty and hot. Heaps of variety - including vegetarian and gf options. Licensed venue so you have have a cheeky glass of wine or other alcohol drink. Inexpensive, great atmosphere. Highly recommend visiting Collars and Cuffs for your next coffee, breakfast or lunch catch up!

Had chicken pumpkin penne pasta and iced coffee. It wasn't a long wait and the food was really yummy. Staff were friendly. The place appeared clean. Iced coffee was delicious. Will definitely go back again.

Gets busy during peak times but they keep things moving. Food’s usually fresh and comes out quick enough. Staff do their job and the place is mostly clean. Good central spot if you're in town and need something easy. Nothing fancy, just your usual Macca’s with the basics covered.

Waited for 10 minutes 8n the drive through, along with a few other vehicles. Absolutely no contact was made during that time. We then finally ordered thick shakes, only to be told that they are not available. Fast food…….i don’t think so.

Toilets absolutely disgusting!! Food average at best. Spoke to someone to clean the toilet. She rolled her eyes at me and said there’s nothing I can do about it right now!!

The service was slow, like half an hour and i basically had no interaction with a human worker - order on the app, order filled sat on the counter and number called - noone handed it to me...if i hadn't heard my number it would have just sat there. There was noone available to take orders. An old couple had been waiting 20 minutes for their food. My children refused to use the toilets they were so dirty...no toilet paper available in female toilets. Food all over playground. Did not receive all our order. Would nearly say it's the worst Maccas I've been too.

It is currently 8:30 on a Tuesday morning, we are one of two groups in here and a group of two just left. We wanted to eat in, but in the entire space there isn’t one clean table, chair or corner of restaurant floor to sit in. It is disgusting at best, can see 4-6 staff in here and yet not one (even those sitting on their hands) can’t find a cloth. For such a nice new store, how disappointing. Yuk

This is the second I ordered from you guys and you never get it right, there’s always something missing. Today you missed 10pieces of nuggets and 2burgers. I live 15mins away and i be bothered to drive back to get this missing orders. You asked me to wait for my food for 10-15mins and i did but this is frustrating when you trying to feed your kids and you didn’t end up put their food in.

last night me and my young son went to this mcdonald’s and there was a worker named “kalan” i saw his name tag and he was wearing a red shirt. he was making threats and saying racial slurs on the phone during his break, is this a normal occurrence? corporate please do something

Really enjoyed this cave, lots of interesting history and the tour guide was amazing, so much information and pointed out different things that you wouldn't notice on your own. Lovely coffee shop (with great coffee, best I've had in a long time) all the staff are wonderful. If you visit Mt Gambier you have to visit Engelbrecht cave!

The history of these caves is very interesting. I was there when it was raining, it was amazing to hear the water rushing down crevasse next to the caves. Beautifully restored and looked after. It's definitely worth paying to do the tour

Yeah a dry limestone cave yeah unique in many ways just not very pretty or interesting, or well fun.......much better if your a cave diver I'm sure but for the rest of us who pay 15 bucks for a tour really not that great. I guess a look in to say you did and to look at the clear underground lake water.....and climb a few stairs and listed to a tour guides efforts to make the whole experience more compelling maybe.....

Fantastic set of caves which, also can arranged dive tours, mostly grade 2 and 3 divers. The walking tour guide, Luke, has great Aussie humour, making the tour more enjoyable. He is also very knowledgeable with some historical trivia. Highly recommend this tour, opened 6 days a week, closed on Wednesdays.

There are 2 parts for this cave. The blue water is part one, and the other one is part two. The lady who was giving us the tour of these caves was very good as well. Listening to the history of the cave it was little sad to hear, but a great job done restoring and opening them for tourists. Do book the tickets beforehand. Should be in the list while visiting Mount Gambier!!

Amazing tour guide (Tara I think) who made it so interesting. Not one of the showy stalagmites and stalactites type caves, but a dry cave with a great and unfortunate history. The 45 minutes went quickly and I enjoyed it very much. Worth seeing.

This cave may hv a sad history but look at it now, a beautiful hidden gem! The water is very clear blue and only licensed divers have access to it. You can’t just go into this cave without a tour guide and definitely you can take a picture as much as you can but taking videos are not allowed. Crowded of people during the peak seasons, lucky we still got the ticket! This cave is worth and is a must visit!

I would just like to say how we were greeted with a beautiful smile from Jaiden ( OMG or was it Braiden, i know it was a very different way of spelling, not with the usual Y) so sorry 😔 but this young Man has exceptional customer service skills rarely seen these days, keep up the good work Jaiden, you brighten customers day & don't stop smiling, i would give heaps more stars than 5, you get 10/10 young Man 😊😉💯

A very centrally located park with an easy stroll to cafes, take away and supermarkets. Park is divided by a town road, where the part we stayed in had very large sites, but was very old and lots of perms. Dump point across the road. Personally, I didn’t feel safe - we had a self titled homeless girl ask for a towel to shower (which she was given), people screaming at each other on the other side of the fence, and sirens for most of the stay. Amenities clean and park is centrally located, but not one we would go back to.

Unpowered site for $28. Cheap,good location,but too crowded . The kitchen is not big but good enough. The shower room is clean. Notice 1：the Wi-Fi password is for one device, if you have iPad or laptop need to connect,you need to get extra password. Notice 2 : The fridge is locked, so need to ask for the password.

It was ok. Very tight. Not a lot of space. There was a screw up with our site which we didn't find out till it was dark and the office was closed. Someone else had the same site. Awkward. Fortunately there was a spare site in front of us and they moved there... The facilities are older but everything was clean and worked well. Easy walk to shops and eating places so super handy. The can next to us was discharging grey water into the ground following the camp instructions. Didn't really like that as now you had to walk around the grey water puddle. Yuk. Fortunately we were in a roof top tent.....

If we were to review the park on their toilet paper it would be 11 out of 10. The best loo paper we have ever come across in a caravan park. Thank You. The staff are lovely and the park is well situated, great camp kitchen and steaming hot water in the showers

Outstanding Service – Even for Non-Guests! Whilst travelling through the Mount Gambier area, we had a part break on our caravan and found ourselves in a bit of a bind over the Easter break. We called the Mount Gambier Central Caravan Park looking for some help, and that’s when we had the pleasure of speaking with Joy. Even though we weren’t staying at the park, Joy was more than happy to assist. She provided us with local contacts for parts and service and, incredibly, went the extra mile by offering to loan us a part until the stores reopened after the holidays. That kind of genuine kindness and above-and-beyond service is rare these days. If this is the level of care and support they offer to someone who isn’t even staying at the park, I can only imagine how well they look after their actual guests! We’ll definitely be booking a stay at Mount Gambier Central Caravan Park the next time we’re in the area. Thanks again, Joy – you turned a stressful situation into a great reminder of the kindness that still exists in the world.

Took 10 minutes to get served, dispute it being quiet. The guy and lady who were serving me did not greet me at all, and didn’t even have basic manners. When I asked for a fresh cookie, the guy refused. Worst customer service I’ve come across, won’t be returning. Also, won’t scan my subway card.

I had a really bad experience at this Subway. One of the staff members (who said she was the manager) was extremely rude and kept yelling at me. When I asked her to calm down, she just said “this is how I talk.” Her attitude completely ruined my day and made me feel very uncomfortable. If this is the kind of service they provide, I definitely don’t want to come back here again. Worst experience I’ve ever had at Subway.

Didnt have the best experience today, asked for a footlong italian herbs and cheese chicken teriyaki toasted with cheddar cheese, while putting the chicken teriyaki on it he asked if it was fresh or toasted i replied toasted, then proceeded to not toast it and put salads on it and start to wrap it up. We then told him as he was wrapping it that the sub was asked to be toasted, he then said we didnt say toasted at all and proceeded to argue with us about it. He then started getting annoyed and irritated with us. He remade the sub but added old english cheese and the wrong sauce and handled the sub in a bad way so it was split into threes. Normally it is a great place with great food but extremely dissatisfied and disappointed this time.

2 nights in a row I have tried going here to get something whilst on break, but the door has been shut and locked as early as 8:30pm. If you advertise till 9pm, then stay open till then.

Immaculately kept gardens. Beautiful rotundas and flower beds of roses and other plants. Absolutely lovely place to take in the serenity.

Decent little park for a walk or kicking a ball around. Good open space with some shady spots, and the gardens are looked after pretty well. There’s a playground and a few benches to sit on. Handy location if you’re nearby and just want somewhere quiet to chill for a bit.

This park got a lot things that people can have fun. The most impressive thing for me is there got so many beautiful roses, that I only can see in Botanic Gardens in other cities. It’s my first time seeing so many so many different but all so beautiful roses just in a public garden, which is so wonderful. I can stay here whole day, just walk around, smell the different rose scents, enjoy their different looking.

Lovely spot for a leisurely stroll or picnic/barbecue. Well maintained and all the roses and other ornamentals make for stunning photo opportunities. Make sure you take a few moments to enjoy the fish pond over near the bowls club side. Nearer the playground are some of the cleanest public toilets we've ever come across. Overall definitely worth a look if you're in the area - stop and enjoy a moment of peace and tranquillity in the centre of town.

Lovely maintained memorial park. Beautiful flowers, lots of unique roses and Anzac Poppies. Very peaceful and nice place to visit.

The store is well-stocked with a variety of items, from home goods to clothing. Prices are competitive, and the layout is straightforward, which makes it easy to find what you need. However, the customer service could use some improvement, as there were times when it was difficult to locate staff for assistance. Parking is ample, which is a plus. Overall, it's a decent place for quick shopping trips, but there’s room for improvement in customer service.

I was there and couldn't find what I was looking for. When I asked help by staff and got a tantram the lady was throwing down things she was packing out and got a very bad attitude from her not happy very unprofessional and I felt very unwelcome almost like I should be there. A customer should definitely not be treated this way 😭

I accidentally dropped a glass bottle in the store and cut my toe. The staff were so kind in offering first aid and filling out an incident report. I got a call to follow up and make sure I was ok. Great customer service!

While walking around the Blue Lake, we noticed a tall hill adjacent to it with a stone tower at the top the Centenary Tower and decided to meet friends and make the climb. Be prepared: the walk up is steep, and I mean properly steep, so it doubles as a great cardio workout. In fact, there’s even a defibrillator at the top in case of emergencies, which makes sense once you’ve tackled the incline! Its about 190m above sea level The effort is absolutely worth it though. From the summit, the views are incredible sweeping panoramas of Mount Gambier, the Blue Lake, Valley Lake, and the surrounding volcanic landscape. On a clear day you can see for miles across the lush countryside. The tower itself is an impressive stone structure dating back to the early 1900s, built to commemorate the first sighting of Mount Gambier by Lieutenant James Grant in 1800. There are resting spots along the way, including a chair near the top where you can catch your breath before heading back down. The entrance is via the second gate (not through the caravan park), with clear signage to guide you. This was a challenging but very rewarding walk for us, and a great warm-up before tackling the Grampians later in the week. A must-do if you enjoy history, fitness, and breathtaking views. These are the open hours for the tower the walk is open every day. Tuesday Closed Wednesday Closed Thursday Closed Friday Closed Saturday Closed Sunday Closed Monday 10 am–2 pm

Great view from the top. The tower itself is open when the flag is flying (but you can still walk up to the tower). It is a steep walk up so keep that in mind, a couple of benches on the way up if you need a rest.

360° view from top. 300 meters only from the car park . Very steep going up but don't worry AED machine is on the top for an emergency.

Best place in mt gambier. This is the highest altitude spot in the area. The tower is closed most of the time. But the view from the top is amazing. A 369 deg view of the entire area. You can identify the all 3 craters of the volcano. Valley lake is visible but blue lake is not visible from the top.

The Tower has specific opening days. Even when closed the walk up the hill is worth it. There is a defibrillator at the tower.

It’s a bit of a steep climb to the tower but the views are absolutely worth it. You can see the valley lake from the top. There are also paths for hiking. The tower is not always open but you can go up to the tower and enjoy the views. There is also a giant compass on display and I thought it was awesome. Perfect way to spend a morning if you’re on holiday at Mt. Gambier

Very steep walking up to the tower, the tower is small and nothing particular except for memories. However the best part is the climb. Absolutely enjoyed walking uphill and wide open view of landscape getting larger.

Natural Born Grillers is a foodie must in Mount Gambier. The Dungeon Burger is next-level — loaded with pulled pork, hot honey chicken, cheese, bacon, ranch slaw, BBQ and chipotle sauce. Juicy, smoky, sweet and spicy, it’s hands down the best burger I’ve ever had. The colourful walls and street-art vibe (just like in the photos) give the place so much character, and the food matches that bold energy. Generous portions, friendly service, and flavour that’s unforgettable. Worth the trip for the Dungeon Burger alone. 🍔🔥

We were welcomed in with great customer service and she took our order quickly and the food came quickly too and it was tasty. I love a good beef burger and my husband loves friend chicken burgers. Both were exceptional and so were the onion rings and sweet potato chips. We enjoyed our experience and recommended to anyone dropping into Mt Gambia

Food was fantastic! Great burgers great onion rings and chips too. At first I was worried when we pulled up the place looked dead and empty which is usually a sign to turn around and find another options but something told me YOLO just give it a go. That decision was confirmed when I saw how many take away bags /pending orders were lined up behind the counter. The wait was like 15 mins but the time flew by as we played connect 4. They offer an assortment of board games you can play to pass the time. The staff were very smiley and the vibes were good which was also a big plus. Overall a great experience and I'd highly recommend if your feeling classic American burgers and food.

Have been travelling Australia for the past 14 months, and this would have to be the best burgers and fries we've had between Brisbane and Mount Gambier. Great couple working and serving, unsure if they were the owners, well priced, well portioned, and great sauce choices. Well done!

Staff are really friendly. Everyone really enjoyed their pasta - generous portions, full of flavour, super tasty! We got our side of bread and cheese too. About $24/$26 for a main portion & no surcharge for takeaway containers if you have left overs. We will be back, would recommend.

I like all the food in Fasta Pasta, my daughter ordered kids lasagna which is really delicious. I like the mushroom sauce for steak, which is milk based, a bit different as normal mushrooms sauce I have had, but it’s delicious. The only issue is the chips in steak meal is too salty, it looks the chef didn’t put the salt evenly on the chips, some are very salty, some are ok…

Pasta actually was faster at Fasta Pasta. The service was quick, friendly and an overall enjoyable experience. Food was delicious and came with free bread always a bonus! Maybe bring your ear muffs so you don’t get overstimulated, (noisy in there).

Food is excellent. It came out fairly quickly and was hot and very tasty. The penne Dijon was excellent and chicken and Cranberry Calzone was also fantastic. Service was fantastic. Staff were friendly and efficient. The Cafe has a great warm atmosphere, however as I am an old bugger, it got a little noisy for me at times. The price was extremely reasonable. Overall a place that I would happily recommend.

Delicious Carbonara pasta - definitely a memorable choice and one we would travel for! Pizza was solid without exciting the crowd... we tried the prawn and prosciutto. Cheap and cheerful pricing with a great restaurant vibe! Worth trying!

The food was good, the atmosphere busy. We managed to get our food in a reasonable time. The service was lacking though (if that's what you'd call it). Had to order at the bar and couldn't catch a smile from the wait staff even if you tried. Also were quick to clear the plates, would clear mine as soon as I had finished eating before my partner even had a chance to finish his meal.

So I like a pizza well done and no matter how many times I ask shops just never cook it right. Travelling to Mt Gambier for work I tried 23acres pizza and not only was the pizza 10 out of 10 they actually listened and cooked it exactly how I like it. Well done guys I will absolutely visit again on my next trip.

We both had yiros for lunch on Saturday 6 Sept. For the price we had high expectations. Although lovely and fresh, unfortunately we were let down. At first it appeared there was enough meat but only in the top section. It dwindled off to just a salad wrap! Very disappointing.

Bit weird. I assume the owner is the bald guy throwing his arms around like he’s on some sort of power-trip (or substance). Girl behind the counter looked miserable and didn’t want to be serving. Food was ok, nothing special, just ok. Price was ridiculous. Handy being in the supermarket complex, but the vibe was aggressive and angsty, not fun and happy.

We ordered two serves of loaded fries delivered. It was terrible. It had hardly any topping and it was over cook Ed and completely dried out. At 20.- for a vegetarian loaded fries I would have expected a bit more. We have ordered previously and it was always okay. Not fantastic but okay. This time it was very disappointing.

So so disappointing on the lack of service given yesterday. Sat there for half an hour waiting for my online order, that was ready and left sitting behind the counter for 20 minutes of which not one person behind the counter bothered to call my name after telling me to sit and wait for my name to be called. I had to approach the counter again to ask 'is that my order sitting up there' to which the reply was 'oh sorry'. It sat there for 20 minutes. The staff could see me sitting there waiting and not once did they even try and figure out that the order sitting up on the counter was mine. They just left my order sitting there and me sitting there waiting. I will not be back.

I wasn't happy. I ordered the lasagna, chips and salad and my lasagna was still cold in the middle. And I decided not to eat as I don't want food poisoning

We enjoyed our stay in a retreat cabin with lovely views, load of birds outside our windows, it was a very clean and well appointed cabin. Open fire was a bonus as was the spa. Super helpful staff and nice coffee in cafe. Love the proximity to all the walks in the blue lake region. Very short drive into main two , but I walked which was only about 10 minutes. Pool was great and waterslide a big hit with the kids

It's really great! Right next to the Blue Lake. You can take a walk along the Blue Lake every morning and evening. The facilities are complete, and the rooms are clean and tidy. Friendly and helpful staff. The children’s most favorite are the jumping pillow and the indoor heated swimming pool, which has two slides and a shallow area for the little ones. Highly recommended.

An amazing holiday with the children. The place was modern and clean with everything we needed. The on-site jump pillow and indoor pool with water slides were a hit with the kids. The Cafe had delicious snack food with coffee to match. Located right next to Blue Lake made early morning walks simple. Definitely will be back again.

Second stay here - first time in a villa! And just as amazing as our first visit. Really friendly reception staff. Beautiful upgrades since we were here last, nice coffee from the cafe. Indoor water slides a hit for the kids even though it was a tad on the cooler side. Lakeside villa spacious and very clean. Definitely will be back. Thank you

A beautiful clean well maintained park to stay in, the 2 bedroom unit was spacious and comfortable, the park includes indoor heated pool, jumping pillow and small playground. Is really busy during school holidays. A small walk to blue lake look out points and animal conservation park, 4 night stay for family of 4 we had a wonderful stay.

We stayed at the caravan park over the school holidays in July 2025 and have absolutely loved it! The swimming pool has 2 new amazing slides (as seen in website) and the pool water is crystal clear! The park is clean and allows friendly dogs 🙏🏽 Our kids live the playground which has a bouncy pillow, and the walks. The park is lovely to stay at and feels safe. Mount Gambier has so many lovely places to visit and do. The local pubs have good food and entertainment. It’s been such a lovely stay!! We will be back with more of our family and friends next time!!

this park was such a gem! went on a gloomy weekday with ample of parking spaces and we were the only the ones there. saw a few wallabies, kingfishers and a herd of kangeroos hopping across the field to hide from the rain! ☔️ very quiet place and the animals doesn’t seem too bothered by our presence. the place is well maintained with walking paths; highly recommended even if it’s raining 🙌🏼🦘

The Valley Lake Conservation Park is a beautiful spot located right next to the Blue Lake and beneath the Centenary Tower. It’s a peaceful escape where you can immerse yourself in both native flora and fauna while enjoying a relaxing stroll. There are a few different walking tracks throughout the park, each offering something a little different, from open grassy clearings to shady woodland paths. We spent around 45 minutes wandering through at a leisurely pace and came across several kangaroos and wallabies grazing quietly, which made the experience even more memorable. The boardwalk section provides great views across the wetlands, while the walk along the edge of Valley Lake itself is equally scenic. The area is well maintained, with clear paths and interpretive signs that explain some of the natural history and wildlife you might encounter. One feature I particularly liked was the bird hide (sometimes called a bird blind). It’s a simple structure with small viewing windows, allowing you to observe local bird species up close in their natural environment without disturbing them. Combined with the wetlands and native plantings, it makes for some excellent photo opportunities. If you’re visiting Mount Gambier and want a quieter, more nature-focused experience, this is an ideal place. A calm and rewarding walk surrounded by wildlife.

Very nice area for picnic or outing. There's many lookout points at this lake. So many birds, ducks in these area. There's playground for kids too. Very serene and beautiful sceneries too. There's ample parking places.

I love that this free! Beautiful nature walk, with board walks, well kept paths and incredible wildlife. Great for bird identification enthusiasts, kids and animal lovers. Wallabies dancing around everywhere!!!

This is one of the most beautiful places I have visited. I so wanted to swim here but it's not allowed. However you can have a paddle. It's inside the rim of an extinct volcano. Just stunning. Picnic tables are provided at the side of the lake and it was just so tranquil. Free entry.

It’s a beautiful, beautiful conservation park. Very serene and scenic. Extremely well maintained. We saw some kangaroos and koalas at the conservation park. There were also lots of different types of birds around. There are lots of places to just sit down and take it all in. It’s a good place to take kids.

No entry fee at all! The visit was great value as you got to see a few different types of flora and fauna. We saw adorable wallabies - adults and babies, an echidna, a very unique goose, some local flora, and many types of birds. Although we didn't see as many animals as we thought, it was a great experience and as a local, I recommend this spot for locals and tourists to visit for a walk and to learn about our local wildlife.

This was a hidden gem ! Worth a visit if you still have some time to spend in Mt Gambier.

It's underrated!! Best views of the valley lake and the play ground. You might find the views better than blue lake on a bright day. Due to sun's position the view gets better in the afternoon.

You can see Bird View for Valley Lake from here. Also, can see a little bit of Mount schank and Centenary tower. On the opposite side, we can Mount Gambier Town from top. Good lookout point.

The walk was not the greatest but the view was better than centenary tower... if you can I would reccomend going here

It’s an aesthetic drive on a short windy mountainous road, shaded on one side by the mountainside edge and its flora, and on the other side, an open picturesque of the town below. If you choose not to drive, there is also a footpath at your convenience, canopied by trees and bushes of the local wildlife and fauna. During the day it presents itself as a nice scenic view overlooking the lakes and the town, depending on which direction you choose to face. The view of the valley lakes is clear and enticing, with a vast array to view from the balcony. At the bottom of a veiled staircase, you can reach a concrete gazebo, which encompasses a distant view of the opposite mountain, peaking atop it the Centenary Tower. At night however, though there isn’t much to see on this side of the lakes, as all you will see is a sea of darkness and the silhouettes of trees in the moonlight, but on the side of the town, it is a harbour of lights in the distance. Yellow, blue, red, green, white... It’s a timeless captivating view of Mount Gambier at night, one surely not to lose its charm anytime soon. And if you head to the Gazebo, at the bottom of the stairs, take a seat on a chair, you can see the illuminating yellow torch that is the Centenary Tower, contrasting against the night sky, with constellations of stars spiraling atop you and it. It has a notorious reputation, Potters Point. A place for lovers, for tourists, for drug dealing… But it brings all of these people to, for the same reason more or less: It is a secluded, picturesque location, that upholds an inconceivable aura to it, both day and night.

Fun and educational. Interesting free doco on how the lakes formed from volcanic activity. Other exhibitions all beautifully displayed with some interactive activities for the kids.

An excellent regional gallery with some stunning pieces in its collection. The free film Volcano is incredibly informative and a must for anyone visiting this area and southwest Victoria

Most stuff closed for changeover. They had a room with aboriginal art from the 90s which was cool! Lady at front counter 10/10 would be friends with, she was kind af. Good selection in giftshop also. Managed to talk my GF into some art classes as well ;) sneaky.

Thoroughly enjoyed this gallery. The faces of our elder exhibition was great. There is a weird big blue blob out the front though. Kinda looks like Sully from monster inc but more depressed.

Had the chance to visit the exhibition on experimenta life forms and really enjoyed it!

Stopped for a picnic lunch at Vansittart Park and Botanical Gardens in Mt. Gambier and the facade of Bricks & Mortar Coffee Co. caught our attention. An enticing aroma of coffee greeted us at the threshold, and the lattes served up did not disappoint. Lots of seating inside and outdoors streetside. It is a welcoming environment, and the team is friendly and engaging. Would have picked out a pastry from the display and lingered a bit had we not had to get on our way.

It’s hard to screw up a food chain business, but this place is made brilliant by the awesome customer service. The guy who served my girlfriend and I was quick, welcoming and super helpful for both us and the staff members he was helping train. I didn’t catch his name, and I know he’s only here for a bit, but if this is the standard of the senior staff, the place is in good hands.

This, is an excellent Mexican fast food restaurant. We went as a group of 5 tourists from interstate. We were served by Rainy, Rizky and Lily. These are 3 of the kindest and generous servers, who really piled on the food. They also suggested appropriate alternatives for dietary requirements eg vegan, gluten free, nut allergy. Despite being close to closing time, they were extremely patient and delivered excellent service. Food was excellent, especially the guacamole which had a dark texture and full, resonant taste. The whole experience was great and homely. Thus, I highly recommend Zambrero Mount Gambier.

We were staying in The Commodore and after many days of travel wanted to eat something fresh, not deep fried and healthy. We visited this place casually and were pleasantly surprised. We were late and Restuarant had only few customers eating. Quite comfortable seating and car parking on side street was also easy. Pleasant welcome made us feel like home. Food is out of the world. So nicely and freshly prepared (quite fast also) and what an amazing taste. Excellent value for the money. Recommend this place highly for Asian food.

My husband and I (from VIC) are visiting the town and we decided to spend our dinner here. We are lucky that the place wasn't so busy on a Friday, and we got our good spot. Foods are awesomely delicious! Service is superb! We didn't wait long for the food coz we understand how Asian foods are prepared. The place is spacious for family dining as well. Good lightings which is a plus. Love the Korean chicken, and chef's 3 choices. We highly recommend! And thank you for such great food and services ❤️

Had the panang curry, tom yum fried rice and mixed vegetables. I felt the panang curry was a little lacking, the beef could be a little bit more tender and some vegetable could elevate the dish. It was literally just beef, coconut milk, curry paste. The tom yum fried rice was delicious, and the prawns were large. Vegetable was delicious too. Service was excellent.

Just had a fabulous dinner here. Thank you for accomodating us as last minute booking. I tell you, this place is really aware with covid restrictions and you could find hand sanitizer even on every table they have. The service was great but waited for the food was a bit long. Overall we are happy because of the delicious food. The location is in the heart of Mount Gambier so it’s very easy to find and park beside the street too. We will come back! 😃

On a recent trip to Mount Gambier with the wife we came across Thyme in the lakes. What an absolutely beautiful meal. The presentation was beautiful and the flavors were amazing. Great views over the town. Nice cosy place and a beautiful atmosphere. There was a celebration happening while we were there and it wasn’t loud. Big space. Great service and friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

It was such a perfect day today, warm and cosy inside overlooking town while enjoying dishes that were faultless in both flavour and presentation. To top it off the service was outstanding. When in town next I will definitely be back. Thank you.

Really wanted to like this but it was so basic and disappointing. Food was very average. The cooking of some ingredients really need to be cooked better as the dishes are so simple and there’s no where to hide. The prawn kataifi was really muted and the prawns were overcooked, masked by the fried texture of the kataifi wrap. The Moroccan lamb entree was very one dimensional in flavour and was nothing interesting. The rice in the seafood paella main was very soggy, and the lamb rack was over cooked and unpleasant. We decided to not bother with dessert. The service was attentive and friendly but it unfortunately didn’t improve our experience. For the price of $28 entrees and $45 mains, it was really disappointing and not worth the price.

Great little spot. Booked online for a group of 12, half kids/adults. The staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful, and despite the menu being a little light on options, the food was lovely. Would love to see more local/seafood options. We didn't try the pizzas but they did look great - will need to try them next time.

This place is really good. We were met and seated by very friendly and welcoming staff. The atmosphere is rustic warm and cosy. The menu is good and at fair prices. We had lamb and porter pie and baked brie, both of which were excellent. The range of beers and local wines is really good. The lager that I tried was good. Prices are comparable to pub prices. Will most definitely be going back, although next time someone else can drive so I can give all the beers a good taste test

Stopped in to Little Rippa Brewing Co while up visiting from Melbourne 10/10 Woodfire pizzas and beers. I missed some photos of the other pizzas as they were demolished before I could get photos. Plenty of parking only a couple minutes from town beautiful outdoor area

A wonderful place for the whole family. Multiple picnic table and BBQ areas with and without cover. Some inside the fenced area and some out. Different playgrounds all in the one fenced in spot. Outside fenced area large open green space for for catch and also a small cricket pitch. Great views of volcano walls, rolling greenery and Valley Lake. Toilets and carpark easily accessible. Wheelchair swing

Only if i could give it more than 5 stars. What an awesome place this is.... The scenery, backdrop, lake, playground everything is just perfect... Ample parking is available. There are toilets beside the parking.. You can literally spend a whole day there easily... From there you can walk upto the centenary tower.. Heaps of sitting space... And in autumn you will find heaps of colors there as well

This is a wonderful place to spend time with family, friends, and children. There's a large playground near the lake; if you're visiting Mount Gambier, you shouldn't miss it. It closes at 9 PM and opens at 7 AM. The playground closes at 7 PM.

Valley Lake took my breath away the moment I arrived. The still water sitting inside the crater, surrounded by trees, birdsong, and fresh country air, feels like a hidden sanctuary. Walking the trails and stopping at the lookouts gave me a sense of calm I didn’t expect, it’s the kind of place where time slows down. Families were enjoying picnics, kids laughing in the playground, and kangaroos resting quietly in the wildlife park, it all added to the magic of the place. With easy parking and plenty of space to relax, it’s a spot that truly stays with you long after you leave.

Exploring the crater requires some effort, as the trails feature steep climbs and can be quite challenging—especially when the weather turns windy and rainy. While the water's hue isn't as striking as Blue Lake's, the surrounding views and path scenery are beautiful and well worth the walk. If you're not a regular hiker, take your time on the inclines, but don't be discouraged—they are certainly achievable.

More of bush trail walk to see the valley lake… very nice walk uphill to see the lake. Even caught someone waterskiing…. Some parts of the trail might be not for faint hearted and wear shoes with good grip. Still worth the walk to see it especially when the weather is blue skies and nice breeze

Pretty lake in Mt Gambier. We went to the Blue Lake first so this one didn’t compare however it had a completely different vibe. Beautiful green surroundings too. Plenty of spots to park. Looks lovely from high above as you drive down to the lake.

Nice spot for a picnic. There was plenty of parking. A picnic table. Grassed area overlooking the greenish grey lake. Valley Lake Conservation Park is nearby.

The lady is super friendly! The bagels are so fresh and you can taste the flour is sweet! Seeds and sesames on it are roasted perfectly! The amounts of the fillings inside are generous! This shop is a gem. My picky toddler loves it and you know it’s good stuff!( coffee also good!

Great food, great service! Visited Breaking Bread as a breakfast stop whilst passing through Mt Gambier on a roadtrip, and was not disappointed. When we came in we were warmly greeted with a smile and a hello. We got a salmon cream cheese bagel, which was so good!! The bagel was toasted and warm, there was lots of smoked salmon, and the pickled onions and capers added a nice tartness to cut through the richness of the cream cheese and salmon. It was so filling that I had to share with my brother, so very worth the money. Also bought some really cute earrings for only $5 from the cafe, made by a girl called Charli. Thanks Charli! Only regret is that we don't live closer, so we could come regularly :( Highly recommend coming by for bagels and pretty earrings👍

Right from the door you are greeted with a big smile and warm welcome. Options were suggested and encouragement to try different things on the menu. We ordered the Pumpkin Spiced Latte, Almond Latte, Slow Cooked Brisket and Vegemite & Cheese Bagel. Coffees arrived hot as did the bagel and we were in food heaven. Do yourself a favour and get in a grab some for yourself

This has certainly come a long way from when it was created. Lots to do for little kids on bikes or Scooters but Parental Supervision is definitely needed as there are two major roads at either end. There is a BBQ area with Coin Operated BBQs and a couple of shade Rotundas to get out of the sun. If you have never been there definitely worth a visit.

This is a fantastic space to go for a walk by yourself, with your dog or friends. There is a public toilet available to use and are kept in excellent condition. They are always clean and have plenty of soap. It is a wonderful use of a space that no longer has a purpose.

Really nice big open space. If your kid likes rocks they will be in heaven. There’s an antiques /trash and treasure shop adjacent that was good for a look round. And a brewery pub thing too. Bit of a play ground and a nice long bike path - great for scooter rollerblades etc. not a huge amount of shade so maybe don’t go in middle of hot day

If you enjoy a bike ride, you are spoiled for choice. A large BMX track sits next to a pump track, right next to the rail trail! The pump track has heaps of potential lines and transitions, it is not ideal for beginners/very young riders due to the steep faces but if you are confident on a bike you should have no trouble. There is also a playground next to the BMX track + a restroom near the road. There is an enclosed dog park with separate sections for small and large dogs.

Great area for off leash playing. Seperate areas for big and small dogs. Activities for both as well. Nice shady spots for owners to sit and read or chat.

Took my grandchild for a walk in the pram there. He loved watching the dogs running in the small dog & large dog enclosures... It was nice to see so many people bringing there dogs there for a run & meet & great outing. Also we watched a lot of kids on their bikes & scooters going around the awesome bmx track.

Off lead dog park is great. Divided into 2, big dogs and small.

Fully enclosed with double gate entrance. Two sides for smaller and larger dogs. Obstacles, sand, dirt, set in water bowl with tap and bubbler for us humans. Dog loved it what else to say? Partner said dog didn't feel enclosed. Plenty of room to run without a leash.
