Cape Range National Park is a preserved natural landscape featuring a limestone plateau sculpted by rivers and idyllic beaches. A WA National Park day pass or an annual RAC pass can be purchased for 50% off ($60) to access the park's numerous recreational activities, such as camping, fishing, swimming, snorkelling, spearfishing, bushwalking and surfing. Visitors can also watch turtle nesting and take tours while enjoying the pristine beauty of the fringe reef located right off the beach.
What an amazing place to visit. Truly spectacular. The landscape is timeless and the coastline is beautiful. I spent 6 days in Osprey bay and loved it. Swimming, snorkelling, fishing right from the camp. Hiking a few kms away through Mandu George, kayaking through Yardie Creek seeing rock wallabies and plenty of beaches like Turquoise Bay close by. I will be coming back.

Cape Range National Park is an incredible place where the outback meets the ocean. The red cliffs and gorges are stunning, especially at Yardie Creek where you can walk along the edge of the gorge and spot rock wallabies and birds. Just a short drive away, Turquoise Bay is perfect for snorkelling—crystal-clear water and vibrant coral just metres from the shore. The whole area feels remote and untouched, with beautiful walking tracks, quiet beaches, and amazing views. It’s one of the most unique national parks in Australia and well worth spending a few days exploring.
R S — Google review
We stayed at Osprey Bay and our campsite was within walking distance of the beach. Stunning ocean views. Table set up for perfect viewings of the stunning sunsets. Good (non smelly) eco toilets set up. It was blowing a gale while we were there though so not the best for snorkelling. Can't control the weather though. The other bays (especially Turquoise Bay) were stunning too!!

Best place in western Australia for coastal and gorge hiking and marine life spotting

Great place, but they really need more parking bays in all beach bays happy to pay to get in but packing bays have not changed in 12 year a danger for kids walking passed cars
Paul A — Google review
Wonderful park ! The best I've been visited in WA. I recommend to stay at least 2 nights just to enjoy the wild and to sleep near to the sea. It was amazing, and really relaxing. Buy everything before exmouth. Because everything is so expensive. 11$ for 10L of water when is 4$ in city 😂
Luca P — Google review
Love this place and the Ningaloo Reef. Sooooooo much to do here in the National Park. You need to buy a WA National Park day pass, or buy an annual pass via RAC for 50% off ($60). Camping, fishing, swimming, snorkelling, spear fishing, bush walking, surfing, watch turtle nesting, boat ramp, tours and a beautiful fringe reef right off the beach. About 60km bitumen road to Yardie Creek, but 4wd needed to go on sand. So many great camping areas all along the coastline. $11 per adult or $7 concession per night. Bookings must be done online. Telstra reception scattered, so book beforehand. Turquoise Bay & Sandy Bay are spectacular.
Raelene G — Google review
Offers excellent snorkeling and general swimming oportunities. The local marine life is diverse. A strong swimming ability is recommended as the current is very strong and can easily catch inexperienced swimmers off guard.

Rob and I went on this amazing quad bike ride through the sand dunes at Coral Bay and let me say it was simply AWESOME! Our guides Chris & Rob were amazing and gave us an unforgettable experience while showing us some awesome sights with the opportunity to catch a gorgeous sunset! Thanks guys, highly recommend this tour…
Andrea S — Google review
Easy to give five stars for this tour. Chris our guide ordered whales, dolphins, turtles and that was before we got in the water. We were lucky enough to see four clown fish and other marine life on the snorkel. We felt safe and the bikes were super easy to ride. Such a highlight for our trip. So glad we decided to go on a whim. Special mention to Chris our guide who made the trip a great memory and is handy with the camera.

Fabulous. Chris was our instructor and was so much fun whilst still being professional. The views are spectacular and the snorkelling was sensational. Highly recommend this quad bike tour. We are both in our 60s and were well able to keep up so don't let age stop you from enjoying this great tour. Lorraine

My girlfriend and I had a blast on the Quad Bike Sunset Trek. Our tour guide Sam was awesome! Really funny and knowledgeable. He lead us through the National Park and stopped us at a few good look out points. We saw turtles in the water and an amazing sunset on the beach. I would definitely recommend checking them out for an adrenaline rush as well as scenic views of coral bay. Cheers m8
Michael L — Google review
Totally awesome day riding the quad bike. Our guide Rob was excellent and a very friendly guy with good knowledge of the tour. Had so much fun riding through the dunes, although a bit bumpy in places just added more fun to the ride. Then got to stop and snorkel at Five Fingers reef, so beautiful even got to see turtles 🐢 would highly recommend this tour if anyone is looking for a bit of an adrenalin rush. Cheers guys.

Absolutely loved the quad trek with our family. Being a motorbike family already we had an absolute ball 🙌 the guides were awesome. The stops along the way were beautiful. Highly recommend sunset tour.

Such a fun adventure quad biking through the sand dunes then snorkeling an amazing reef with an abundance of sea life. Sam was a fantastic guide. Always making sure we were happy and safe. Equipment suplied was top notch and the bikes were comfortable considering the rough terrain. Highly recommended

Thanks John and Beck for a terrific day. Three snorkel dives in different locations, including the famous Blue Maze. Saw two turtles parked on a cleaning station getting a treatment from the fish! The fish diversity was excellent. And so was the burger for lunch 😊 All round great trip.

Ningaloo Reef Dive & Snorkel offers an amazing experience with a friendly and supportive crew. The instructors are patient and kind, making it possible for nervous divers to enjoy the dive. The dive locations are stunning, and the lunch provided is great. They offer guided tours with plenty of flotation devices for those who aren't strong swimmers. The team shows great respect and care for the ocean, its inhabitants, and their guests.
We had the most amazing day seeing the reef up close with amazing guides and crew. We had an out of this world experience with the manta rays gliding slow and doing flips right under us. I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to have an awesome day out to explore Ningaloo. Oh and do your self a favour and buy the photos. $75 and we received over 200 of the most amazing photos capturing a once is a life time for us.

Really nice tour !! I was diving, my sister was snorkelling. We saw many animals especially a manta ray. The corals were really beautiful on the second dive 😍 The crew was really kind and we had a great meal. I recommend them for sure. Thank you

Very nice team! We had an amazing day on the boat. The diving and the snorkeling were amazing and so much fun. We were diving groups with 5 divers which was a nice small size. We saw a manta ray, sharks, turtles and much more. Highly recommended!

Perfetcly organized trip in a slightky windy November day (not ideal conditions). Despite the weather, the guides brought us to several magnificnet sites, ensured a close encounter with a school of mantas and led us to a secluded reef where we could lurk over a Tiger Shark ! All while infoming us about marine life, conservation and climate change. Great day !

What a fantastic time we had with Ningaloo Reef Dive. Very well organised and professional team. Vikki, Steph and the rest of the team were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience special. The kindness and generosity given to myself and my son will last a lifetime and we will be forever grateful . The diving and snorkelling was very special. We spent 2 days diving with the crew. We were very lucky to see numerous aquatic life. Including Leopard shark, reef sharks, turtles and the absolute stars Mantas. We were very lucky over the 2 days to have 3 on the first day and 6 on the 2nd day. The focus on conservation, whilst giving exceptional customer service is an absolute credit to them all. I would highly recommend Ningaloo Reef Dive to anyone visiting Coral Bay or the surrounding area of WA. Thanks again to all at Ningaloo Reef Dive. Ian & Alfie Ward

Had a great day out and we were also fortunate with the weather and sightings on the day. Several mantas for the snorkel, some sharks on the dives and some whale watching in between. Staff were friendly and helpful and all the guests returned with big smiles on their faces.

Located in Coral Bay, Fin's is a charming seaside cafe offering a wide range of options. The fish and chips, made with snapper, are particularly popular due to the proximity to the beautiful reef. The portions are generous and perfect for a beachside takeaway. The atmosphere is laid-back and unpretentious, reflecting the town's vibe. It's also the only BYO joint in town, adding to its appeal. While slightly spicy, the seafood dishes are enjoyable without being overwhelming.
Kudos to the chefs (and awesone service team) who have made the most delicious food experience for us tonight in #CoralBay! My Dahl with seared Scallops and Simon’s Chilli Mussels Bonanza with the most delicious side salad ever… was definitely worth travelling 1126km for! This is unexpected top end food with a clever menu - no wonder Fin's Cafe Coral Bay is carving out a reputation as the best restaurant in the North West! Such a fun, delicious night, great value for money and awesome atmosphere. Thanks 🙏

Fin's is a decent option for breakfast in Coral Bay. Opening hours are 8am, order inside and grab a table just outside if you can find one. Our brekkies were ready in around 15 minutes, reasonably priced and tasted decent. Overall, not bad, fit for purpose casual meal in a beach destination.

WOW. This place was so great. We got the scallop risotto and lamb shank special for dinner and it was EXCEPTIONAL. Highly recommend this unsuspecting little cafe on Coral Bay beach. Shoutout to our French waitress Louise who was so friendly and helpful.
Helen S — Google review
Was hesitant to try because of mixed reviews, but the fish & chips were great! Big bits of fish, nice chips. Only took 10 minutes to prepare French waitress (I read earlier) was perceived as "rude" by a few, but having been to France (and also thinking French hospitality was extremely rude compared to home) that's just how French people are. Knowing a bit of backstory, I could tell she was trying hard to be perceived as friendlier and she did very well. The two french chefs cooked excellent food, pleasant experience - great work to all the staff.

A little nice place not far away from the beach. Fried halloumi cheese, surf & turf and Seafood mussel bonanza was great.

DO NOT EAT HERE!! Worst takeaway food I have ever gotten in my life. With limited places to eat in Coral Bay would had thought that this would be an easy option. As soon as we walked into the restaurant the atmosphere felt very off due to the service staff being very rude. When we had asked to sit in she had dragged a table over and said “ugh you can sit here”. I would understand if it was busy but as someone who works in the service industry I could never imagine treating customers like this! We were not told anything when we sat down about the menu or how the service worked. We were ignored completely by the service staff and therefore decided we would just get a take away as I was left feel very uncomfortable due to the serving staff’s attitude. I ordered the “fresh” fish and chips and it was by no means fresh at all. The battered on the fish was burned and the fish in the middle tasted off. I didn’t finish it and ended throwing nearly the whole thing in the bin. I would never eat here again or recommend to anyone and would warn you to stay clear! Better off cooking yourself!
Neamh M — Google review
Had supper there. I had Thai chicken curry which was delicious. Husband had great fish and chips. Had had an ice cream cone in the morning but scoop size was on the mean side which almost put us off going for a meal.
Georgina B — Google review
I know you’re at an isolated beach cafe with no other competition but these guys should lift their game. The language barrier is a problem and also the bacon was burnt badly. I could not eat it. The egg was also not what I asked for. I asked for a bacon and egg roll and I got scrambled egg with burnt bacon instead - no choice here unfortunately

Dolphin & Whale Watching
Coral Bay EcoTours offers a full-day trip from Coral Bay, lasting about 9 hours and including equipment, snacks, and transportation to and from the jetty. The tour provides an onboard photographer for an additional fee and offers a voucher if whale sharks are not sighted. Guests have had the opportunity to observe various marine life such as parrot fish, turtles, octopuses, stingrays, and sharks while swimming with manta rays.
As a family of four we just did the whale shark tour (7y/9y). Absolutely amazing! The tour starts by meeting the day before to fit wetsuits/ flippers to reduce flapping on the day. We met at 7.20 for a 7.30 depart to boat ramp. Starts by having a guided snorkel on the reef before the spotter plane heads out and we go to the deep blue waiting for a whale shark. We were very fortunate to see and swim with whale sharks, turtles, sharks and an abundance of fish! We did another snorkel on the outer reef on the way back. The staff are amazing, enthusiastic, friendly and engaged. We were lucky to have a great group. The food was fresh and delicious and we never felt hungry. We always felt safe, often a guide at the front and another at the rear keeping the gang together. They accommodated all levels of swimmers with some people using noodles. They were fantastic with the kids, didn't baby them and they had the same experience as everyone. This is an expensive tour but includes transfers, gear hire, spotter plane, on board photographer with photos included, lunch/ snacks/ drinks and trustworthy staff.

Best wild animal encounters I have done. If you are choosing between multiple options this is by far the best. Had the most awesome day out. Swimming with the whales was better than you can imagine. The crew were awesome, boat was really nice. And a big shout out to Pedro (Ship Hand) for going out his way to make sure we got the best out of the day. High recommend.

Incredible experience on the Ningaloo Reef! 🪸🤿 We recently went on the Marine Eco Safari in Coral Bay and I can’t express how lovely the crew were, so friendly and supportive as well as very informative and knowledgeable with the wildlife. I’m still surprised by how much time we actually spent in the water and just how much of the reef we saw! Multiple close-up manta ray encounters (bucket list worthy experience) including a mating train of three swimming together, as well as seven turtles, a shark, and by far the healthiest looking coral I’ve seen in Ningaloo. We also saw several humpback whales from the boat deck. The photographer did a really great job, but primarily took photos of just the wildlife (not many shots with people in) and was an additional charge - completely worth it though, I bought the package as the photos were stunning and reasonably priced! The boat itself (Thunder) was really clean and comfortable, although it did bounce around on the waves quite a lot so remember to take sea sickness medication beforehand! Snorkelling equipment was high quality - no complaints! Thank you! 🩵

I recently did the whale shark dive with Coral Bay EcoTours, and it was absolutely incredible! The crew were quick to get us out to the sharks — we ended up swimming with four whale sharks throughout the day. Every crew member was knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely caring, which made the whole experience feel safe, relaxed and unforgettable. We were also really well fed, which was a great touch after such an exciting day in the water! What I really appreciated is that a portion of the tour fee goes towards whale shark research. It felt amazing to know I was contributing to something important while having such a special, personal experience. I’d jump at the chance to do this again and would highly recommend Coral Bay EcoTours to anyone heading up this way. If you’re looking for something to do — this is it!

Wonderful mante ray tour!!! We saw one big female followed by two males. It was beautiful! We also saw a big turtle while on the boat and two reef sharks while snorkeling. Great food, great staff and perfect trip!

We just returned from an amazing day with eco tours. We took the full day manta ray tour. The whole experience was great, as a family traveling with 4 kids (including two toddlers) the team was super helpful with the snorkeling kids, really helping in the water, providing floaters, etc. first part of the day is snorkeling and getting used to the equipment, second part is a few rounds of swimming with the giant manta rays, they use a spotter airplane, and last part is another really nice snorkeling, we saw turtles, sharks, unicorn fish, and more. They also provide wet suits and all the snorkeling gear. Photography is by third party and not included. The whole experience was chill. A special thanks to the amazing guide Flor, who really helped the kids in the water, helping our 6 yo relax and enjoy the experience, even when they don't speak the same language l. Highly recommended.

We came to Coral Bay especially for the snorkeling and humpback whale safari and left with the best experience ever - On the safari we saw so many humpbacks, 3 turtles, an octopus and more! @coralbayeco thank you, you have an amazing crew. RV park
Peoples Park offers self-contained cabins just a short distance from the ocean. Some rooms have shared kitchen and facilities, providing opportunities to meet other travelers. Ningaloo Caravan and Holiday Park, located 90 minutes away from Coral Bay, is ideal for those wanting to experience the best of both worlds. The park offers powered and unpowered campsites that are pet-friendly. Visitors can enjoy ocean view family villas and studios in Coral Bay with easy beach access and great barbecue facilities.
I stayed at People’s Park for just over a week in one of the villas up top, and it made for a fantastic Coral Bay experience. One of the first things you’ll notice is how popular this place is—with a mix of caravan sites and villas, it can get busy, but that’s part of Coral Bay’s charm. You’re right on the beachfront, and the town centre is just a short walk away. I was easily getting in 13,000 to 15,000 steps a day! It’s a great spot for families—kids have plenty of space to run around, explore, and enjoy the laid-back holiday vibe. The highlights: • Well-maintained villas and grounds • Clean BBQ areas • Friendly and responsive staff • Fantastic location with beautiful ocean views and sunsets • Full kitchen and laundry facilities that really made it feel like a home away from home The kitchen was well-equipped with a large fridge, electric pan, microwave rice cooker, and even a washing machine—this made it easy for us to cook meals, especially with the food we brought from Perth (groceries can be quite expensive locally). I even brought my multi-pot to make things easier. A few minor downsides: • Water pressure in the villa was quite low—but we worked around this by using the communal showers for the kids • A few kitchen items weren’t working, but the staff happily swapped them out when we asked The location, facilities, and overall setup made this an ideal place to relax and unwind. Snorkelling was still magical, even with some coral bleaching—the calm waters and rainbow-coloured fish made for unforgettable swims. We’ll definitely be back. It’s a perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and Coral Bay beauty.

We stayed on a powered site. They work hard to keep the sites grassed as far as possible. The location was very central - straight across the road from the swimming beach and an easy walk to the shopping centre. People’s Park is a smaller park and not as cramped as adjacent parks appear. The ablutions are tidy and clean. Great amount of washing machines all in working order with plenty of washing lines too. Highly recommend this great park when in Coral Bay.

I’m sure rooms were great but I was on campsite. Lush green areas as watered all the time. Really clean amenities. Only $4 for washing machines. Super friendly staff. Warmly greeted on arrival.loved my stay and wished I’d had longer. 💕

Boat Rentals
Ningaloo Coral Bay Boats offers 1-2 hour glass-bottom snorkeling tours for around $50 AUD per adult. The boat provides the opportunity to observe corals and marine life in the aquarium zone, although some suggest opting for a boat with a more transparent bottom or snorkeling independently if experienced. Visitors have reported incredible experiences, including snorkeling among turtles, fish, and various coral types, as well as swimming with manta rays and whale watching.
We did the Half Day Manta Tour, it was absolutely fabulous. Stunning turquoise waters. Swam with a manta 3 times and the first snorkel was unreal, we saw loads of turtles and the coral is just amazing! Guides were great and really helpful to the less confident swimmers. Absolutely recommend buying the photo package after the tour, onboard photographer was amazing - these pics were taken by her!
Holly M — Google review
We made reservations for a bottom see through boat excursion to the aquarium zone so that we could observe the corals and other marine life. The boat crew was fantastic, and the tour lasted for one hour in total. Despite the fact that the bottom glass of the boat was not particularly transparent and did not have a particularly large surface area. It is advisable to arrange a spot on a boat that has a submersible bottom, or if you are an experienced swimmer, you should snorkel around by yourself.
Aqib K — Google review
Walk off the sandy beach straight onto the boat and immediately see fish! Then just a short ride out to see plenty more amongst the coral. Informative commentary throughout, a little fish feeding, and a super easy totally flat cruise. Good teaser for other Ningaloo reef activities.

We booked this tour last minute while staying in Coral Bay and so glad we did! We did the half day tour which was the perfect amount of time (after having done a full day already with the whale sharks). We saw plenty of wildlife including turtles, dolphins, a leopard shark and even an octopus! The highlight though was obviously the Manta Rays, of which we got to swim with 3. They even put on a show for us, doing barrel roll after barrel roll - truly spectacular! The crew were all so lovely and knowledgeable, and the snacks provided were great after plenty of swimming (and catered for gluten free so well). Would highly recommend to anyone visiting!

We booked the 1/2 day Manta Ray Tour with Ningaloo Coral Bay Boats. The Tour provided Snorkels, Masks and Fins along with wet suits. The reservation staff were very helpful explaining meet times and pick up locations. We arrived early and coffee was available across the road at the Bakery to help us fill in the time. We were then provided our Fins followed by boarding a bus for a short ride to the Jetty. Finn and her crew then took us to a close in reef for an introductory snorkel to get used to our gear. Once back on the boat we were told a Manta Ray was close so back in the water in two groups. We had a number of swims and the Mantas circled and we had a great time. Humpbacks, Grey Shark (Don't worry not a "Bitey" shark) dolphins, and Turtles added to a wonderful day. My wife and I are in our 60's and only relatively fit and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Service and safety were paramount and the crew should be commended for their care, knowledge and skill.

THE BEST FUN! Mateo and crew were informative, professional, and very funny. (Regarding fish and turtles personal space). Thanks to a great puppy sitter Alex who had Maggie dog not wanting to come home. Was able to go pro some great footage and fall in love with Coral Bay.

If you come to Coral Bay, a trip with this crew is worth its weight in gold. We have lived and dived on the Barrier Reef most of our lives and had one of the best trips out we have ever had. I highly recommend this skilled and knowledgeable team for a day out exploring the local reefs. Sharks, whales, Manta Rays, turtles and millions of fish. Plus a laid back crew that made it an awesome family outing.

Restaurant
The Reef Cafe offers generous portions, a friendly staff, and excellent value. Their seafood platter is impressive and perfect after a day of snorkeling. It easily feeds a family of three, especially when accompanied by the delicious garlic bread to soak up the flavorful chili mussel sauce. The pizzas are also outstanding, and the fried camembert is irresistible. Additionally, they even serve late-night ice cream for those looking for a sweet treat.
We loved our afternoon and evening at Reef Cafe. Great, friendly staff. Chilli prawns were excellent, compliments to the chef 💖 Bar tender Nathan made wonderfully cocktails, loved my traditional Cosmopolitan cocktail and traditional Espresso martini, both were spot on. Atmosphere was relaxed, chilled and fun. Good music. All round great time. Will definitely be back next time we r in town. Thanks to all the staff 👍👍👍😍

I would consider coming back and even changing my review to a higher rating if the restaurant can address this question: Does your restaurant have regular customers who always sit at the same table for over 10 years? If so, I suggest putting a "Reserved" sign on that table. Here's what happened during my visit: My friend went inside to order, and I understood that your restaurant operates on a self-service system where customers order and then find any available table to sit at. There were two tables outside, and since I preferred sitting outside, I chose one of them. Shortly after, an older man approached me and claimed he had been a regular customer for over 10 years. He even brought his own drink and seemed familiar with the staff, as they were chatting like old acquaintances. Who am I to argue? I’m just a foreign tourist who ordered a meal for just over 50 AUD at the only restaurant open that night in Coral Bay. I didn’t want to create a scene or cause trouble, especially since I was there with a friend. Combined, our order of food and drinks would have been around 100 AUD. I wasn’t going to complain about the prices because we saw the menu, understood the costs, and made our choice. However, as non-regular customers, it felt frustrating to have to move just because someone else unofficially claimed the table. I keep wondering, is this normal behavior or etiquette in Australia? As a tourist who has visited over 40 countries, I find it unusual. This isn’t my first time in Australia; I’ve been here six times and chose to visit this remote beach because I’d run out of places to explore. However, I’ve noticed a recurring pattern during my trips: older people coming to the table I’m sitting at and claiming it’s “their table” without any clear indication that the table is reserved or occupied. I’m fairly sure this isn’t international etiquette, but perhaps it’s unique to Australia. What I don’t know is how to respond appropriately in these situations because I’m not familiar with the local customs. Is this normal behavior or something else? Could it even be a subtle form of discrimination against tourists? To be clear, the food was fine. My only suggestion is to implement a seating system to avoid unnecessary conflicts between customers. If there’s a self-service approach, the seating should be first-come, first-served unless a table is clearly marked as reserved. If this had been the last available table, I wouldn’t have moved. But since there were two, I didn’t want to cause a scene instead I written down here.

Margherita pizza was good. A nice base and sauce. It was slightly too oily though. After finishing the pizza, there was a pool of oil left in the centre of the plate. Lobster was cooked nicely with plenty of juicy, succulent meat. The sauce was a nice combination to have with the lobster. Service was great, all staff were very friendly and helpful

Thank goodness I booked a table! Man, this place was jamming. I ordered the fettuccini brocheletti, napolitana spaghetti, the vegan dahl, bowl of wedges and chips. As busy as the guys were tonight, they did an incredible job! If you're visiting Coral Bay, you need to swing by here for lunch and / or dinner. Everything we ordered was made vegan—thank you Reef Cafe. - Charles W.

Great service with super friendly staff. I had been travelling since 4am so got a pizza takeaway. It was really delicious. I had the Il Padrino pizza on a gluten-free base. Great pizza 🍕

Visited twice during our short stay in town. Seafood pizza was good. Seafood platter was good overall although the grill fish was dry while the battered fish was really oily. Staffs were friendly and the vibe was good too. Would recommend

The food is about as good as it’ll get in Coral Bay. And it’s really actually quite good. Bbq spareribs are excellent 5 stars both times we got them and the fries it comes with are great. Not your usual bad backpacker fries but tasty ones. Pizza is 3 stars. Overcooked both times we ordered. Chicken parm is 4 stars. Over-fried. Nice, easygoing staff. Good vibes. If you’re looking for escape from flies in a hermetically sealed and air conditioned place, go somewhere else. One might assume the take out menu represents the items that can be taken out. Not true. Anything on the menu can be ordered for take out. They should just eliminate the take out menu to remove confusion. Phone doesn’t work.

No love in the food. Meals are a generous size. That is not an issue. But there is no Love in preparation. My wife had 3 cheese gnocchi. All cheese and stogee gnocchi. I had bacon and chicken fettuccine. The chicken was tender and the bacon was swimming in too much sauce. Its disappointing as we where looking forward to a meal out.

Bill's Bay

Bills Bay offers a serene coastal escape near the Ningaloo Reef, providing plenty of opportunities for exploration and adventure. Snorkeling in the bay allows visitors to observe marine life such as dugongs, whale sharks, and manta rays. The crystal-clear shallow waters create a natural wading pool suitable for families, while just meters away, the bay transitions into the stunning blue depths of the Ningaloo Reef.
Stunning beach with great snorkel opportunities. Be careful of the rays and small reef sharks which pop around now and then. It’s a paradise location but seems to be busiest around July - September. Not much seaweed, no bad smells just lovely sun baking and lots of incredible views.

Nice and calm bay, great for families. Snorkelling is pretty good, colourful fish around, quite a few blue spotted ribbontail rays in the bay, so don’t forget to do the stingray shuffle in the shallows. We snorkelled from the rock overhangs down to Bills Bay, much better when tide is out so you don’t have to swim as far to get to the fish and corals. Great sunset spot, and there are good bbq areas, toilets, shower to rinse off sand.

We had the best day down at Bill’s Bay! The water’s calm and crystal clear perfect for the kids and the setup is amazing for families. Plenty of space, easy beach access, and great snorkelling right off the shore. 🐠💦

Amazing beach, although corals have died since 2022, there are still plenty of fish. We went in winter and water is too cold. I stood at knee depth water and I can see plenty fish including huge snappers swimming. No need to snorkel at all. We will return in Sumner but need lots of planning because all accommodations are usually fully booked 6-12 mths ahead.

Shades Cafe and Bar, located within the Ningaloo Reef Resort, offers stunning views of the bay and is a favorite among locals. It's known for its panoramic sunsets, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a pina colada and share plates while soaking in the holiday atmosphere. The cafe serves fresh and flavorful food at affordable prices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Visitors can also take advantage of happy hour specials from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.
Great breakfast at affordable prices. Food was fresh and had lots of flavour and is located in the Ningaloo Reef Resort open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and happy hour between 5.30-6.30pm.

Lovely outlook over the bay. Coffee good, but no soy milk available. Good range of gluten free treats on offer. The citrus tart was nice, the brownie a hit with the boys. Customer service efficient, but could be more welcoming. Overall, a good pit stop before exploring the beach.

Ordered jalapeño poppers and loaded fries with pulled pork. Good serving size to share between two people. Food came very quick at 6 on NYE. Pulled pork was an additional 6$ but a very small amount dumped on top, meat was dry and chips soaked in mustard with barely any cheese whip. Could improve with more/better quality meat and cheese. Jalapeño poppers not bad, a little mushy and not spicy at all. Overall not a bad experience but wouldn’t order again.

Stayed for dinner, I got the coconut mushroom pasta and my partner got the veggie burger. The pasta was not heated completely through and lacked a bit of imagination as a vegan meal. The burger was better. Meals came out very fast!

So disappointed with Pad Thai. If the Chef doesn’t know how to cook Pad Thai, it’s better to remove it. I didn’t finish the Pad Thai at all. The burger taste amazing

Located within the Ningaloo Reef resort overlooking the ocean and in grounds swimming pool. Great location. Most seating is outside under shade... coffee is good.

Ordered veggie burger got a beef burger. They were happy to rectify but I had to go and explain that I had been charged for beef burger and not veg so gave me $10 out of staff tips. Hubby and mate ordered same parmi and hubby had 1/3 the chips our friend had which was rectified when I complained. But seriously, watching the kitchen hand dish the chips our of the bowl and on to plates with his bare hands! Not going back there anytime soon!!!

We had a great experience here a year ago but we were very disappointed with the quality of the food tonight. Nothing seemed to be made in house anymore, there are no pizzas on the menu, and very little gluten free options (unlike previously). Everything seems to have been bought from woollies, from the kids burger patty, chicken nuggets and kids pizza (could swear that's a McCain's pizza single) to the squid and popcorn chicken. The pad Thai tasted like a store bought sauce. The barramundi was really average. The only good thing was the deep fried Camembert. I'm gonna guess they've lost their chef and are struggling to hold a menu together with supply issues? Great service, the bar was good, would come back for a sunset drink but not for the food.
