No place to sit for free if you don't want to go to a cafe or food place. No public benches for the elderly or anyone that just wants to sit for even 5 minutes. You can go to just about any mall and find the same stores but if you go to this one don't expect to have the courtesy of a place to sit like most other malls.

Viva is the largest and most complete shopping mall in Barranquilla and could give any mall in the United States a run for its money. It spans a vast area and features a unique layout where the top floor combines a food court with full-scale restaurants. The mall even houses a medical clinic, a large grocery store and a casino! Their bathrooms are super clean and put the ones in the malls back home to shame. I enjoyed shopping there so much during the early part of my trip that I returned a second time before flying home. During my visits, I bought soccer jerseys from the Adidas store, drank strong coffee at Juan Valdez, and had a Subway sandwich in the food court that tasted just like the one I get back home. If you appreciate plenty of shopping and dining options, along with reliable air conditioning, Viva is a must-see destination in Barranquilla.

This shopping mall has everything you are looking for from a pharmacy to a movie theatre and even a casino! The cleanliness seems to be very important here as the staff maintain this place pretty well. 5 stories tall, there's definitely a variety when it comes to the stores.

The place is excellent for its collection of restaurants that are very unique to the region and the place. The shops are very good and offer a variety too. My only complaint was that the place had an advertisement for a samsung store that never existed in the mall. Otherwise a very good place to spend an evening.

Had come here for emergency shopping. Has Starbucks, Apple Store, Adidas, New Balance, Juan Valdez and Leonissa. Those were the few shops I saw and shopped. Would definitely come back if we didn’t feel rush since it looked like it was going to rain hard.

When I first visited Buenavista Mall in 2004, it was the only North American style shopping center in Barranquilla. By U.S. standards, it was rather small, and it sat in a suburban area just outside the city. Twenty-one years later, I returned and was surprised to find the surrounding rural landscape absorbed into the city sprawl. The mall itself now consists of at least three separate buildings connected by elevated pedestrian walkways. At first, I could not tell which building was the original. The complex is very clean and offers everything you would find in a large U.S. mall. Although Viva Mall, which did not exist in 2004, has become the city’s flagship shopping destination, Buenavista has modernized successfully and remains relevant as Barranquilla grows and welcomes more international visitors. I enjoyed spending time there on my recent trip and reliving memories from my first visit. I will be sure to return the next time I am in town.

Really like this mall. The food court on the top floor is amazing with so many good options, it's difficult to choose. Lots of good stores as well as banks and ATM's. Home Sentry and Carrula are there as well for added convenience. Nice Christmas displays and Carnaval displays.

Very popular restaurant. Service was fast taking into account it was busy. Food is ok, nothing crazy but it's definitely a place where you can find different kind of traditional food. Zapote juice was the best.

First time in Barranquilla and this place the food was amazing. The staff was very attentive and the amount of food they give you is just right. It was super busy but fast we were in line for about 1 minutes. I have never had the sancocho colombiano the flavors were outstanding, I also tried the chicharrón and OMG. The deditos I couldn’t stop eating them lol. My next time in Colombia I will definitely come back.

Been wanting to come here but was told, don’t even think about coming during the weekend.. super crowded. So we went end of breakfast and almost start of lunch. Perfect time. I ordered arroz con pollo, arepa con huevo, y deditos con queso. There was more but couldn’t remember. The arepa con huevo was delicious and my arroz con pollo was super tasty. I would definitely come back..

Food is amazing here -so tasty and authentic, huge portions and great selection. So it's a must visit. There is a big BUT during lunch hours the queue is insane, I waited more than 1hr to get to counter, unfortunately the staff works very slow and disorganised. I would order more in case service would be faster, but I didn't want to queue again. Hopefully it was because of carnival times.

You walk in and make a line to choose what you want to eat. It is loud. The food isn’t my favorite and find there are better Colombian traditional options near by that are superior. I had the empanada and couldn’t take a second bite. However the fresh carrot juice takes a 5/5. We went for oxtail and they were out. We asked for a second dish and they were out. It is a very busy very loud restaurant experience.

Only gets a 4 stars due to the fact the municipality installed a few exercise equipment ignoring the number of people visiting the park on a daily basis(morning time) some individuals think they literally "own" the equipment and will not let you use it while they are resting and will frown upon you if show intentions to use it As far as maintenance goes the former mayor's office put their 5 cents in it plants get watered daily garbage picked up walking path are well lid for the early and late jogger/ walker Right on Barranquilla!!!! It's relatively the best park in town. Being at an elevated area near good residential compounds makes it apt for easy sports like jogging or walking. It is a Green area offering a mini playground for football or handball.

An excellent place to be with your family, couple or yourself. It's full of magic and all the events scheduled here have the best logistic. If you want to be connected with nature and have a different day this is a most to go.

Flavors were amazing. Every single thing ordered from the cantaloupe juice to the carpaccio to the various pasta dishes we had amongst the 4 of us, EVERYTHING WAS PHENOMENAL. Outstanding!! Bravo.

Salvator's Pizza & Pasta had the best pizza I had in Barranquilla. Their pasta was ok as their red sauce was a bit watery. The chicken parmesan was good. My mom loved the Di Mari pasta dish. The service on the other hand was bad. We ordered multiple dishes and were never asked if we liked the food, they just dropped off the dish and left. Overall I would try again, but if I saw the same server I would ask to be seated in a different section.

Horrible service. Delicious food but the service is horrible. The attitude, specially of one of the male waiters is horrible and slow, and they expect a tip for a mediocre service. Beware! When you ask to take the tip pod the check, check twice because they will charge it anyway! The far girl with glasses charged it anyway… they are sneaky! 😡 Let them have their 2 cents! Not gonna be back at all!

Pizza is ok, service is slow, the place was not very crowded, yet the have many delivery orders and it gets very busy and slow.

Had the worst experience when I order a delivery. The app is not working I waited for more than one hour as the app says they haven’t assigned anyone to deliver the pizza until I called the restaurant and was told the delivery guy came and left because he could not reach me. They didn’t even try to ask the front desk to contact me. Don’t order with this place, worst customer service! I would rate it negative star if I could !

Average food. Restaurant is kinda outdated and dusty. The air conditioner lounge is small and fills quickly, the rest of the seating is outdoors. So you have to be lucky to eat lunch without sweating

We finally got to visit this restaurant. It was really good. If you like arab/Lebanese cuisine this is a place you must visit. I had the steak Sarak, meat with sesame sauce, delicious. Will come back.

Some of the best food I've had in Colombia. The host was attentive and provided lots of information about all the dishes. If you're looking for delicious food that you talk about for days then Sarab is a place you must visit. I recommend the chicken that was perfectly cooked and full of Lebanese flavour. The homemade ice cream with pieces of chocolate fudge and topped with sweet peanuts and chocolate sauce was the perfect end to a wonderful culinary experience. Highly recommended

Baranquilla is known for its Arabic food. The most beautiful people in colombia are here because of the Lebanese blood line. If you want to try the best and most authentic Lebanese food go to this restaurant. Tony, the owner, originally from north Lebanon prepares amazing kibbe, hummus, tabouli and lentil soup. I was amazed, the quality and freshness were apparent in every bite. We drove 2.5 hours from Cartagena just to try it and we were not let down.

Best traditional syrian-lebanese food in town. Cozy and familiar, with really nice service. I've been a regular for decades and I never tire of it. Some dishes like Fatteh can only be found here. Affordable prices overall.

Dec 2021: This is an ok place to go get rodizio. They first offer you yuca/cassava,fried green banana and grilled ripe plantains. Then comes 13 different cuts of chicken,pork and beef. The best ones for me were the picanha and the filet mignon. Did not find any of the cuts outstanding, and were usually in between medium/well done. They could have a better selection, however that would increase the price significantly, which isn't very high for a rodizio ( COP 44.000 pp, 39.000 on Tuesdays).

Great food of all cuts of fine meats. Only thing they need to more hot vegetables which was lacking similar to the Brazilian restaurant in the US. Salad bar was ok. Service impecable.

All the meat was super dry, the choices of salads minimum. Great service but need to do a better job with making sure the meat is served in different temperatures.

We were really excited about this place before we got there. Interior of the restaurant is well taken care of. The staff was friendly enough and everything started out well. After that, it all went downhill. The food was pretty good minus the meat selection. Everything was overdone which was disappointing. The buffet portion was great! From there on the staff paid less and less attention to us which was frustrating. It took us 20 minutes to get our bill. The restaurant was busy which is a good sign. We are hoping this was just a one-time visit problem in the next time will be better.
