Very beautiful art all around. From knife making , to the traditional bombillas , sweets , empanadas , painting, jewelry and so many things. Enjoy 😁😎🤗

Nice plaza and beautiful grass and sculptures. I like the fact you can sit on the grass and enjoy the mountain views. It would be great if they added benches. However they have seats with no back support if you desire.

Whether you prefer to dine indoors or outdoors, this place offers a wide variety of craft beers including blonds, reds, stouts, IPAs, honey, and raspberry beers on tap. Great place to have some beers! We tried the honey, raspberry and black beers, all were pretty good! Service was excellent, lovely outdoor seating.

Top spot! Tasty food, friendly service, and great vibes. Their craft beer is excellent, brewed with their own hops!
Alejandro F — Google review
We visited El Patio Cervecero on a very slow off season week, so it wasn’t to lively or packed. Still they offer a very good menu, some local dishes, good beers and friendly staff. I’d imagine that in the summer season the place rocks and the outside patio looked amazing! I went for a fruity beer, not bad, maybe too acidic, goulash (very good!) and no dessert even though they do have a few options available. I think this place, and the small plaza where it is located, is a great spot to visit and grab something to eat and drink. Don’t miss!

Beer, service and atmosphere was excellent. Nice place to sit in the shade and enjoy the day
Robert Q — Google review
Food n beer soso but great atmosphere.

Go for the atmosphere, charcuterie boards, or to try a bunch of beers. Food all pricey and the wine was bad, did not finish it. But thats what you get for ordering wine at a brewery in El Bolson.
Jimmy P — Google review
The best honey beer I've had in Argentina! Happy hour pints were $3,600, great value for money, and a lovely view of the mountains!

Jauja is a popular late-night spot in El Bolson, Patagonia, offering artisanal ice creams with creative flavors and a variety of desserts and cafe dishes. The establishment has gained fame for its tempting ice cream flavors such as Andean chocolate with walnuts, dulce de leche with brownies, and calafate berries with sheep's milk.
They sell the best ice cream i’ve ever had.. Also the workers are very nice and helpful
Pi N — Google review
Can’t speak for the ice creams but we ate in the restaurant last night. Staff were very friendly and fast but the bolognese pasta was extremely bland and flavourless. Salad was nice though, and prices are very reasonable. They also took my allergy seriously which was appreciated! Edit - we tried the ice cream too. It was fine. Not anywhere as good as we’ve had elsewhere, so 3* seems fair.
Sam C — Google review
Nice spot, with nice outdoor seating and inside. However prices to be re-checked: two orange juices, one espresso, one yogurt pot (pretty good) and one minuscule empanada for 22,000. Not even in the centre of Rome
Dario T — Google review
Got an average iced latte from here. Order an extra shot as it only comes with 1. That said, good place to sit and use wifi if you are passing through or need to hangout. Cool side garden area that is outside.

The aroma of the coffee filled the place when we came in, the service was a bit slow because of the high number of clients. The coffee foam was not integral, but the coffee was good, and a glass of soda was served beside him.

Hương T — Google review
We were greeted by a very warm and welcoming bartender, which immediately set a great tone for our visit. The place has a cozy atmosphere and offers a wide variety of in-house craft beers. Based on our preferences, the bartender kindly recommended a few options and even brought us six labeled shot glasses with different beers to sample before making our choice. We ended up ordering a pizza and the salmon—both dishes were absolutely amazing. The prices are fair considering the quality of the food and the overall experience. It’s the kind of spot you’ll want to come back to.

Nice place to get pizza, great view of the plaza, good service, delicious fresh juices. I ordered the Faina, it is made with garbanzo beans and I tried the one with onion and the one with Provolone. Both were good, but the Provolone was by far my favorite. (Frankly I'm thinking of buying a few more pieces to take with me for the next long hike, lol!)

Positive: - pizza was great. Reasonably priced - waiter was quite friendly as well To improve: - it was eastern holidays and the restaurante full of families with kids having a great family time and all of the sudden they cut off the music and put a football match on the speakers, completely ruining the moment for everybody. You could tell how many people started staring at the game and even some were chanting (kinda awkward).

Quaint little place, great parrillada. Friendly waitress. Love the red wine we order. Wheelchair accessible. Love the painting on the wall. Very clean..Meats cooked just right. The French fries were one of the best I've had !. Would definitely recommend if you come to El Bolson Argentina.

The service is nice and kind, and the food is delicious, as well as served really fast. You should try the milanesa with french fries and fried eggs. They are well cooked and taste delicious. Also, they offer pasta with the right amound of sauce, which makes you feel like you are tasting a classic homemade dish. The bad side of this place is the lack of ventilation: you could expect to take the smell of the kitchen with you and in your clothes all day long.

(Translated by Google) What a good place! Everything is spectacular, from the table service, the interior and exterior setting, the drinks, the presentation of the dishes... Then there is the food, which is at a higher level. We sat inside at some little tables where you had to sit on the floor as in Japanese culture, but after a while we decided to move to the garden to be more comfortable. For starters we ordered a special ceviche, it was so delicious it didn't even last 2 minutes on the table. We ordered three dishes to share: Pad thai: Good size portion, just right seasoning, we didn't have such high expectations but we were surprised, it was the dish we liked the most. Tonkotsu Ramen: The pork stood out the most in flavor, although the broth was also delicious. The noodles were a little thicker than we are used to, they lacked a little cooking for our taste. Sushi table of 24: Of the 4 varieties of pieces, the one we liked the most was the smoked trout. The delicious passion fruit gin. The delay of the dishes was normal. We spent 138 thousand pesos for 3 people, the prices are a little higher than the average but they are justified by the quality of the service. PS: They do not accept credit cards.

We had our favourite dinner in Argentina at La Gorda last night. We shared the vacío al horno de barro, which was mind-blowing to say the least. Paired with a delicious Malbec, and followed up with a decadent chocolate ice cream desert ensured we left full, fat and very happy. All of this cost us $810 pesos (around US $40) - great value really for a meal of this caliber. Go on, spoil yourself - your future self will thank you for it after.

The restaurant is tucked away a little bit off of the main street, but it gets really busy and has people waiting for tables until as late as 23:00 / 23:30. The dishes are excellent!! There was an off-menu lamb dish I had that was exquisite!! Not as pricey as I expected, but not cheap either; either way it's really worth it!

Amazing Dinner, slightly stressed but amazing friendly service staff. We arrived late and did not have any reservation. It was during the week but still booked out. We needed to wait approximately 25 min and received a free drink for the waiting time. Waitress were very friendly. Bife de chorizo was extraordinarily good, sorrentinos de verdura was super. Best food we had in Patagonia!

The staff were very friendly! Food was just ok in my opinion. They were out of fish when I visited which limited my options considerably as I don't eat meat. Vegetarian pasta was OK. Overall the service/hospitality definitely outperformed the food - although even that was very slow as there were only 2 waitresses and a lot of people to serve.

A man aggressively tried charging us to see the waterfall. We don't generally hike with money on us so we had to turn around and walk back even though we'd hiked an hour to get there.

(Translated by Google) The place where the waterfall is is quiet. Pretty. You can put your feet in the water. How after having some matecitos is cool. Pays $2000 per person (children under 8 do not pay): January 2025. But the place is quite run down. There is supposed to be an area with tables, games, bathrooms... But it's not pretty at all. Everything was very neglected, the bathrooms were not cleaned at all. Obviously when it opened it was beautiful, but it has not been maintained. It's a shame they don't take advantage of having a place like this. (Original) El lugar donde está la cascadita es tranqui. Bonito. Se puede meter los pies en el agua. I just had the best pizza in Argentina at El Tablón in El Bolsón! Dining in was perfect—the crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and amazing flavors made every bite unforgettable. If you’re in El Bolsón, don’t miss this place!

Great pizza with fresh ingredients. We got the napolitana and anchoas con queso and both were delicious. They were super busy and it took a bit for the waiter to get to us but the food was worth the wait. Kid friendly. We sat outside in the patio and had some live music as well.

Very good pizza when they have ny style. Otherwise the pizza has fallen to a miserable level of low quality rubber like dough.the empanadas of chicken suck 100% onions it’s as if they forget to use chicken or are cutting costs. Terrible beer on tap and no sign of trying to tap a good quality brew. Fully 100% tourist oriented and forget the locals mentality!

Restaurant
Nestled in the charming town of El Bolson, A-Gusto has unfortunately garnered a reputation that leaves much to be desired. Diners have expressed their disappointment with the quality of food, citing issues like over-salted and under-seasoned dishes, greasy fries, and a general lack of freshness. The ambiance is marred by an overwhelming smell of grilled food that detracts from the dining experience.
The best steak in town! I had an absolutely fantastic dinner at this restaurant. My partner and I decided to try the rib-eye steaks, and we paired them with a bottle of red wine. The steaks were cooked to perfection, with a rich, juicy flavor that was simply amazing. The wine complemented the meal perfectly, enhancing the overall dining experience. What surprised me the most was the price. For such high-quality steak, it was incredibly affordable. I couldn't believe we were getting such an exceptional meal for such a reasonable price. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, making the evening even more enjoyable. I enjoyed the steak so much that I found myself wanting to extend my stay in Bolson just to have another meal here. The combination of great food, excellent wine, and a pleasant ambiance made it a memorable experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. You won't be disappointed!

I had one of the best ribeye steaks ever. I didn’t know how to say medium rare but the waiter understood and he brought out a perfectly cooked medium rare steak. It was hard to get the attention of the waiter staff despite the restaurant being slow. My wife had the pumpkin ravioli which was also great. I would highly recommend the place.

I visited this place on the Cerro perito moreno ski hill. I ordered veggie sandwich with fries and a beer for 900pesos. I was told it will take 10min. The place was almost empty. After 20min i went to ask if it's ready and I was told to wait another 5 min. After 40 minutes of waiting they finally brought the "food". It was a half cooked half frozen veggie burger with one tomato slice and one leaf of salad on the two days old burger bun. It was the worst food I've ever eaten. Plus they didn't bring me french fries. I tried to give it to the dog there but he didn't want it either. After three hours I still feel sick from eating half of this meal. I would recommend to the owners of this place to shut it down and go try robbing people on the street. It would be more honest living than asking money for this horrible food and service.

Cerro Amigo, located near El Bolson, offers a range of trails suitable for different hiking preferences. The area is home to well-known refuge huts such as Cajon del Azul, Motoco, Piltriquitron, Cerro Lindo, and Hielo Azul. Visitors are advised to bring appropriate clothing and footwear along with food and drinks for the hike.
Beautiful views - a great option if you're staying in the city and don't have a car. Each of the 3 lookouts offer a unique view, and the lady that welcomed us to the cerro was lovely and explained all the different walks and distances. A must see in El Bolson! It cost us $2,000 per person, definitely worth it.

An okay place overall. The drive up didn’t feel very safe — I imagine it gets quite dangerous when the road is busy with cars going up and down. The hike itself was challenging, and to be honest, I found the natural views along the way more enjoyable than the open-air museum at the top. The host was very friendly, but note that payment is cash-only. I’d recommend visiting only after doing Río Azul first, since it takes about 40 minutes of walking to reach the top.

Didn't quite impress me. A bunch of sculptures in the forest. I reccomend to visit it as a stop in trip to el Pilqui. It's about 20 minutes walking from the platforma. If you get there quite early (as in before 10 a.m.) nobody's there and you can access for free (at least on Sundays)

We had a delightful dining experience at Luganna Resto & Bar. The service was satisfactory and the food was delicious. It may be considered slightly pricey, but we didn't mind as the quality of the dishes made up for it. However, we were not pleased with our table placement, as it was situated next to a collection of drinks which took away from the ambiance of the restaurant.
(Translated by Google) Excellent place! We stopped by at noon on a Monday, and the girl who served us was super attentive. Not to mention the food! The kids had the chicken Milanese with potatoes (really good) and then the lamb shank for two. Everything was delicious. They had a spectacular IPA. (Original) Excelente lugar! (Translated by Google) "It's a good thing we didn't read the negative reviews, or we would have missed out on a good meal," says my partner. We had grilled lamb, very delicious, with a real lamb flavor (it doesn't fade even with prolonged cooking). The rustic potatoes were delicious, cooked very well. As for the price, we thought it was reasonable. The grilled lamb was $22,000, and two drinks, water and soda, were $7,000. They offered us a 2-for-1 flan, but I said no, and they're still demanding it. The service from the staff was excellent.

The restaurant El Quincho de Danilo offers a stunning landscape, surrounded by nature and providing a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. It comes highly recommended for both families and couples. The reception is top-notch, with excellent attention from the owner. Their lamb dishes are spectacular, and the provo cheese is delicious. For those visiting hidden waterfalls or other attractions in the area, it's suggested to have lunch at El Quincho de Danilo on the way back.
(Translated by Google) The place and the attention are excellent. The food is incredibly delicious. The beers are very delicious too. The prices are worth it for everything they offer (they only have cash as a payment method). While waiting for the food to cook, you can go tour the place and have a wonderful time. They also have their own craft store. You can go feed fish and look around. The attention is totally personalized for each person/customer who places an order. They also offered us "chacarero coffee" which is a digestive infusion. It is an incredible experience to spend the day in this place. (Translated by Google) The truth is that the place, the food and the atmosphere are unprecedented, it is eaten in the traditional long roast style, spaced meals that fill you up but you don't get stuck. The drinks theme is also interesting, it has several fresh options. The attention is what a southern grill should be, it is everything a good person would expect. And finally, the place is fantastic, it offers a beautiful view, and as a plus there is the stream that is the melting of the Perito Moreno (not the glacier) and as you can see in the video it has the trout passing through said stream, quite a show 11/10. PS: you can't leave without trying the coffee. The lady serving us was lovely but I did not like the lamb. It was either boney off cuts or terribly overcooked and dry.
Travis K — Google review
So good we came here twice :) The Great Carlito was our server both nights. Fantastic bife de chorizo and flan casera. We wandered around looking at all of the new/nice spots in El Bolson but settled here. Simple, plain, spot on Argentine parrilla with good people, affordable prices, and tasty food. Drink the Happy Hour beer specials at the flashy cervecerias in town, then come here for dinner.

Day 3

Off the beaten path
For day 3, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Cajón Del Azul. Not quite as popular as El Bolsón, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 8 hours.

Nature preserve
Cajón Del Azul is a forested canyon near the town of El Bolson, offering challenging hiking routes and clear mountain streams. The trek, starting from Wharton, spans five miles to Refugio Cajon del Azul and features moderate difficulty with some ladders along the way. Hikers are treated to stunning views of the aqua blue waters of Rio Azul as they follow well-signed and groomed trails through native vegetation.
One of the most beautiful places in Argentina. It´s a must. 5 miles of pure native vegetation and lovely trails. You cannot miss it. Be in shape if you want to enjoy it all!
Eduardo C — Google review
A beautiful trek with views of the aqua blue waters of Rio Azul. The primary trail guides ou along the azul river beginning from confluencia to where the river is fed by waterfalls and glacier run-off deep in the forested mountain canyon. The trail itseld is well-signed and groomed. You can go for a day hike (be sure to make it past the first 3 refugios to reach Mirador Azul for impressive views looking down upon the river and it's rapidsvas it carves through the Canyon). The trails have great refugios at well-placed distances making it easy to turn this into a multi-day exploration.

Nice spot in the canyon by Rio del Azul! Very good hike from start to finish from the upper area in el bolson! Took about 4 hours total and was about 18km :)

Must do hike in El Bolsón. Challenging at times but very rewording. Cristal clear rivers with blue water. Amazing vegetation and pure air.
Andreea G — Google review
I would not recommend it: it is a walk of at least 5 hours (round trip; for people with good physical condition) with many slopes, a rocky path, full of toilet paper and garbage. A walk that requires good physical condition, especially if you want to return the same day. It was shocking to see people walking an extremely demanding trail wearing bathing suits, sandals, water shoes, carrying coolers, etc. Plus we ran into pilgrimages (crowds of people) in both directions to realize that the main attraction, “El Cajón del Azul”, is not worth all the effort. If your desire is to suffer without being rewarded, this walk is for you; My only recommendation is that if you choose to suffer, go prepared with trekking clothes and shoes and with an open mind to avoid getting frustrated.
Moshé S — Google review
In all seriousness, skip this hike. It is 18 miles round trip of no view (hiking to the refuge). When you get to the refuge, the views are mediocre at best. It is also steep uphill followed immediately by steep downhills so your efforts of climbing don’t even pay off. There are many beautiful hikes in Patagonia, this is not one of them. Do yourself the favor of skipping this hike. I’m sorry I wasted two days of my trip on it.
Claire S — Google review
Really beautiful place. It's a hard trekking, so be prepared

Really nice place for a day hike. If course it doesn't compare to the south of Patagonia but it's still nice.

Cerro Perito Moreno is a charming and welcoming ski destination in Patagonia, Argentina. This small, family-friendly ski area provides a nostalgic experience reminiscent of skiing in North America during the early 90's. With mostly beginner and intermediate slopes, as well as a snowboard park, it caters to all skill levels. The resort has a hometown ski hill feel and offers accessible touring opportunities with solid terrain.
Hidden gems of Patagonia, small ski resort for the family and great place for ski touring. The snow usually is colder than other near ski areas and the grooming is one of the best. Affordable and great service...

Like skiing in North America in the early 90's. Good vibes, some relative disregard for safety and hometown ski hill feel with some quite accessible touring to solid terrain. Often wind effected in the touring areas, everything below treeline is relatively protected compared to bigger Alpine resorts around Argentina

Indian Head is a slightly less explored location compared to the recommendations of Alltrails. It is advisable to bring 500 pesos per individual. However, visitors can delight in a quick ascent and breathtaking panoramas. Additionally, there is the possibility of stumbling upon complimentary blackberries as they are abundant throughout the area. Furthermore, one can appreciate glimpses of the head for a small fee of $50 pesos per person, with both walks being equally brief in duration.
Little more traveled than Alltrails suggested, and bring 500 pesos per person. But we enjoyed the short climb and spectacular views. As a bonus you might get some free blackberries as the bushes are all over the place.

Quite liked seeing the head but we had to pay $50 pesos each to enter. Walk is super short, two walks but equally short.
Nora M — Google review
When you arrive, you park the car and there are 2 paths you can follow by foot. I recommend not to do the one to the Indian head, because when you do the other walk to the "Mirador " , you can see the Indian head from the other side, and if you keep on walking up the mountain, you will arrive to the top where you'll find one of the most beautiful views. You can't miss it !

Cafe
Paseo De Las Flores is a charming garden cafe in El Bolson, Argentina. It's known for its cozy atmosphere and beautiful garden setting. The cafe offers a variety of coffee and tea options, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. With positive reviews on Tripadvisor, it's considered one of the top restaurants in the area.
Entering through a small path surrounded by plants and flowers, Paseo de las Flores lives up to its name right from the beginning. You are welcomed on the entrance patio with a beautiful cozy garden at your right, which even has a small pond (with fishes!). There are tables both outside and inside the café; I recommend the exterior ones (if you can get one). We tried the capuccino and a latte, both were good, and the lemon pie was delicious. Serving time was very fast and the owner was very kind. Prices are excellent as well. I absolutely recommend you this place!

Loved this place. Visited at lunchtime with my family and enjoyed the flavourful home cooking. Refugio Hielo Azul is a stunning natural mountain area that offers an adventurous experience for trekkers and campers. It can be reached by a challenging 7-hour trek, with the first three hours involving a steep climb. The shelter is very nice but very crowded. Sleeping inside on the upper floor is a martyrdom that I wouldn't wish on anyone. Better to go with a tent or else sleep on the ground floor since the heat rises and it is very hot upstairs. It has many points to go to later and connect. I recommend to come one night and return to base or go to the glacier or the swimming refuge (Original) Partiendo desde doña rosa es un camino bastante largo pero lindo. We went up through Wharton (you can also go through Doña Rosa, many went up there), I advise starting very early since the first hours are in the sun and there is no water on the road either, take 2 liters per person and manage it well. If you are going camping, try to carry as little weight as possible so the climb doesn't become hard. The shelter is very well organized, the camping area is large, the bathrooms and showers are very good, they sell cheap beer, they make meals and it has a fairly complete supply. You can continue climbing to the lagoon and the glacier, the climb is hard but it is worth it! PS: the people you meet up there vibrate very loudly!

Hostel Piltri

Bed & breakfast
Hostel Piltri is a charming retreat that beautifully blends local culture with comfort. Nestled in a vibrant town, it offers an impressive selection of local ales from breweries like Parapapoto and Otto Tipp, making it a great spot for beer enthusiasts. The dorms are well-equipped with essentials such as a fridge, stove, and utensils to make your stay convenient.
I had a great experience in this hostel. Full equipped, friendly service and it was full of foreigners when I was there. Although facilities are not in perfect conditions, everything work. Lucas, Ariel and El Topo are the best hostess. I will definitely come back
Julián I — Google review
The best feature of this hostel is its location, just 5mins from the main square of Bolson where the market takes place. Oh & it‘s price. I paid 15$ for two nights in a dorm with breakfast. But: the breakfast was barely the minimum, the internet was only working in the common area, rooms had no lookers, nor enough space. There were many showers & toilets but only one of these doors was lockable. They should remove one double bed & put lockers instead. Stuff was unorganized & chaotic. Somebody was sleeping in the bed of a friend of mine when he came into the room. He moved to an apparently empty bed instead. In the middle of the night a guy came & claimed the bed to be his. He also moved to another empty bed. In the morning my friend confronted the stuff & asked for a refund for this night since it was inconvenient for 3 people. Only asked for 50% refund, yet the answer to this request was „but you had a bed & slept, right?“ & „what is refund, i don‘t know“. Sad that they prioritize money over customer satisfaction. The next night a bottle & glasses were placed in my bed. Almost the same story happened again. Go if you want to safe money, but don‘t expect much.

Can’t really say much about this place! It’s a bed and breakfast kinda place not a hostel by any means. Would only recommend to stay here 1 night if you arrive late with bus or something otherwise check for hostels 2-5km outside of El Bolson!
Chief K — Google review
The dorms have a fridge and stove. It has ustensils as well. Hot water and room heater. The owner is friendly and checks on you every night. The owner is flexible and solves issues. I encourage you to go there because not many owners try to fix and improve things. He does a great job at that and is renovating the hostel to make it better.

Chaotic, dirty, falling apart. The worst part is that there is nobody working there really. The one person working is nice when he happens to be around (usually not). Basically self-service. No lockers so you cannot leave anything there. It was cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. If you are not totally broke I recommend to stay somewhere else.

We have stayed two night in Lucas hostel and it was perfect. We got room for us, it was clean, much space and especially cozy warm in the cold winter. Lucas helped us out with every question we had. Thanks mate, was a good stay!

Super nice hostel. Lucas (the dueno) is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is nice with some fresh home bread every morning. Beds are quite comfy. I recommend
Victor D — Google review
The room was ok if you like complete darkness. But the owner knocked at the door at 9h30 to remind us that the check out is at 10. And we where almost kicked out as we checked out because "there is no room in the lobby".... and it was raining outside...

Feria Regional El Bolsón

Handicraft fair
Feria Regional El Bolsón is a well-known outdoor market nestled in the Andes Mountains of Argentina. It offers a wide array of handmade crafts, local produce, and traditional Argentine cuisine. The market's laid-back and bohemian ambiance draws both tourists and locals looking for unique souvenirs and an authentic taste of Argentine culture. Visitors can expect to find friendly vendors offering helpful recommendations amidst a beautiful and tranquil setting.
Beautiful crafts! It was very fun to see all the vendors. Everyone is nice and although it's crowded it was easy to enjoy. Multiple areas with food and beer. We enjoyed empanadas and some local beer. We only spent about 2 hours there, but so easy to take a break and go sit outside the vendors and enjoy the water or the sunshine.
Robert Q — Google review
The artisans at the fair are very friendly and ther crafts are beautiful. We would constantly stop to talk to them about their craft for a while, which is also very affordable.
Emilio S — Google review
Bar none the best craft market I've experienced in Argentina, definitely seen some other good ones but the vendors here were so diverse product wise so that's why I make that claim. All kinds of different vendors, great breweries, excellent food all around a nice park surrounded by the mountains and beautiful people.
Nathaniel M — Google review
Beautiful and creative market, with incredible interesting pieces, from handmade chess sets to bespoke furniture to stunning jewellery and it's fairly affordable. The quality of the items is nothing like what you'd find on your average market, get your money out, I wish I'd bought more. I got some essential oils that are extremely high quality, would recommend.
Amber L — Google review
Beautiful hand made things, food especially very good fries, natural cosmetics and clothes to buy!🌺
Pi N — Google review
The fair is nice and an excuse to see the town.
Dario T — Google review
We came during "semana santa" (the week before Easter) and the market was running strong until around 7pm. Probably the best crafts market we've been to in South America but nothing too different from your standard farmers market in the US (just replace all the veggie stalls with jewlers). Prices were also quite reasonable. We really enjoyed walking around the park browsing the stalls and sipping on artisanal IPAs and would highly reccomend checking it out if you're in El Bolson!

The game room at Casino Tresor appears to be lacking progress and may leave visitors feeling bored or fatigued. However, the confectionery and restaurant area receives high praise for its exceptional cleanliness, attentive service, quality offerings, and affordable prices. It is highly recommended as a dinner option. Additionally, the staff at Casino Tresor provides excellent attention and the shows are of great quality.

La República - Cocina Patagónica is a delightful stop for travelers exploring the region, especially if you're heading towards Esquel. Recommended by local parking attendants, this charming eatery offers a menu that features standout dishes like rainbow trout served with a unique carrot mash—an absolute highlight after two months of culinary adventures in Argentina. While it may be one of the pricier options on the menu, many diners find it well worth the splurge.
Stopped here for lunch on the way to Esquel. The street parking attendants recommended this place. I ordered the rainbow trout which came with a carrot type mash. I’ve been traveling Argentina for 2+ months. Best dish by far; outside of meat. This may have been the priciest meal on the menu, for me, well worth it.

This place looks good. It is close to the “Féria Artesanal” but service was slow and food was lousy. I wouldn’t recommend it. I had fried langostinos that we’re flavorless and toó breaded

Nice spot. Service is very slow. Do they pay the staff?? Because the forlorn faces suggest they are captive forced labour.

Welcome to Pueblo Chico, a hidden gem that promises an unforgettable culinary experience. This charming spot is the ultimate destination for food lovers and beer enthusiasts alike. As you peruse the menu, you'll be tempted by a variety of dishes crafted with high-quality ingredients and genuine care. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, thanks in part to the friendly owner who ensures every guest feels at home. Diners rave about the steak here—it's been hailed as one of the best in Argentina!
Delicious steak! Even though we didn’t like the side dish, “milojas de papá” so better order normal french fries, also it came medium rare instead of rare but anyway it was delicious! And regarding the service; the waiters are incredibly kind!

Trout was very tasty, however the vegetables contained some mold in them. Waiter told me it was due to the oven and I was looking at a 'grilled cheese' but it was clearly fuzzy and grey mold. 1 star for service due to this.

Whether seeking a vegan-friendly alternative or indulging in their renowned pizzas and empanadas, this eatery is dedicated to satisfying diverse culinary preferences.
The calabaza and traditional empanadas are both really good, I'd say the two best empanadas in town. The other empanadas we had were also good but not amazing, and this place doesn't have that many varieties to choose from. There's outdoor seating, but right next to a large parking lot and one of the main roads in town. They also have wifi and cans of beer.

We stopped in for pizza’s they were good. Definitely worth the stop. I will say from my experience in Argentina they are a bit more on the expensive side, the quality is there tho. We ordered 2 pizzas, 2 beers and 2 sparkling waters for about 28,000. In my opinion, it was worth it and plenty to feed 4 adults.
Leannza L — Google review
Stopped here for lunch on our way through town on our motorcycles as I had read great reviews of this place. I ordered a slice of pizza and 3 empanadas and my friend had a pizza. He’s a vegan and they were able to make a pizza without cheese. His pizza was good, as were my empanadas. Price was very reasonable. There is outdoor seating which was nice. I would come back here if passing through El Bolson again.
Patrick S — Google review
Found the best empanadas we've had in Argentina so far - the owner said they were proper ones, not filled with air, and indeed they were. Came back for more empanadas the day after and got a slice of pizza, which also was very good!
Tabea S — Google review
I have no idea what I ordered, but what I got was two tiny pizzas. I do not know what was in them..carrots? Chia sprinkles? Cheese? Tons of flavor. I am very basic when it comes to pizza so the fact that I enjoyed these says a lot. Her dough is fun & hearty. If this pizza shop was in Los Angeles it would absolutely slay. Well done.
