It was a rough road getting there. So be ready for that. From where you park, it is a huge walk down to the waterfalls. The waterfalls are pretty, but I would not say spectacular. It is worth spending the day down there as the walk back up is absolute murder... It is very touristy, so if you are wanting peace, stay away from this place. Somebody should really open a coffee shop there. They would print money (all I wanted after the hike was coffee, but there was none to be found)

We had a wonderful time at Dona Gloria's inn. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel like we were part of the place from the moment we arrived. Dona Gloria herself was incredibly kind and loving, just like everyone else who worked there. If you ever find yourself in Sao Thome, I highly recommend staying at this cozy house! Plus, the restaurant served simple yet delicious food at reasonable prices. Overall, it was an amazing experience that left us feeling grateful for everything.
