Hot Park is a fantastic destination nestled in the heart of Goiás' hot springs region, making it one of the largest attractions around. Opened in 1977 and part of the Rio Quente Resorts complex, this expansive park spans over 55,000 square meters and features naturally heated waters that flow through its pools and water slides. Families will find endless fun with activities like surfing, kayaking, scuba diving, zip-lining, and rafting—though some come at an extra cost.
Didnt picture alot, but the place is beautiful and maintained very well.
The place is huge and have many kinds of activities for all ages. I think its one of the best places for families in all Brasil.
It is also very safe to let children play around there.

A Fantastic Family Adventure, Despite the Queues!
Hot Park in Rio Quente truly offers a fantastic experience with an abundance of activities perfect for the entire family. From thrilling slides to relaxing pools, there's something to keep everyone entertained throughout the day.
The primary challenge we encountered was the considerable wait times for many of the popular rides and even for food, with lines often averaging around 30 minutes. This did eat into our time and occasionally tested our patience.
However, we discovered that our absolute favorite experiences were the paid activities, such as scuba diving, rafting, and the zip lines. These were incredibly well-managed, offered unique thrills, and, crucially, had virtually no lines, making them well worth the additional cost for the immediate enjoyment and seamless experience.
Overall, Hot Park delivers a memorable and fun-filled day out. While the queues for the complimentary attractions can be a drawback, the quality and accessibility of the paid activities significantly enhanced our visit, making it a highly recommended destination for families.
Stay away if you can. Do not listen to your children if they want to come here. You will end up spending 300 brazil real per person including kids for the opportunity to stand in line whole day, including for food. Average time in line is 30-50 minutes. Total waste of my day. No fun at all. And money is gone too. It looks like the park does not have any limit on the number of people who can enter. I am surprised that locals like this kind of “fun” snd are ready to spend that much money to get a chance to stand in a queue.
Samara at the Maraé restaurant was very friendly and made me feel welcomed. it was a loving afternoon with friends having a blast of Brazil at this beautiful place. thanks Samara and her team!!
A fab theme park around water activities mainly. Fun for all the family, resteraunts there are a few, normal facilities available. Love the wrist bands so you can charge everything you need to it and settle up at the end of the day. The only down sides are not all rides in the park are free and should be as you pay a entrance fee also car parking is not free.
First of all, highly recommend visiting Brazil! HotPark in Rio Quente is a must visit. Amazing people, great food, atmosphere is beautiful. Waterpark and lagoons are amazing! Staff are super friendly. Resort has many hotels and pools available. Food options are great and wide range in buffet.
Undoubtedly the best thermal water theme park in the world with a spectacular kilometer zip line that raises your adrenaline levels to the maximum and to another level. Place you should visit several times if you want to de-stress and have fun looking for

This remarkable complex, affectionately known as 'Nie', spans an impressive 26,000 square meters and features a diverse array of spaces dedicated to art exhibitions, live performances, and educational programs.
Lovely modern architecture. I went on a Saturday , when the center itself is closed, but it was totally worth my visit just to view the exceptionally beautiful buildinds.

There are three galleries. The building is quite interesting. There seem to be quite a few events running at the center. A nice space to spend an hour and enjoy the breeze from the lake.

Like a lot of families, we go here as it is a safe space for kids to do activities on a large hard-surfaced open space - roller blade, learn to ride a bike, kick a football, learn to skateboard, etc. Occasionally there are interesting art exhibitions in the gallery.

A good place to have fresh oysters in Goiânia, although they are not always available, but when they are , they are delicious. The lychee caipesake is wonderful! Definitely a recommendation. The traditional festival however is pricy and THE quality is not one of the bests. The service is also a little bit slow. The place is beautiful and it’s in a open gourmet food court of the Flamboyant Shopping Center
Disappointed by the Vibe
I really wanted to enjoy this place — I brought my foreign husband to experience a true brazilian experience and this felt nothing like the warmth we are used to. The atmosphere felt cold and unwelcoming from the moment we walked in. We were looked up and down by staff and It was hard not to feel judged, especially based on how we were dressed.
To top it off, I was asked for ID when paying, which has never happened before in my life. Which felt unnecessary and out of place, especially considering the rest of the evening. It left me with the impression that we weren’t seen as valued customers.
The food was fine, server was good but we felt watched and unwelcome. Hospitality matters just as much as food for us, And on that front, this place missed the mark.
There are 8 vegetarian options, but 4 true vegan choices. I ordered the Yakissoba Vegetariano. Essentially, a pasta dish with lots of veggies such as broccoli, cauliflower, onions, peppers, and carrots that are all mixed with soy sauce. Only requested that they use oil instead of butter. Dish was absolutely delicious and would definitely order again.
Best place for a sashimi and sushi in the city. They have all you can eat.

The atmosphere is great, good food, awesome architecture (very different from anything seen in Goiânia) but the service is not that great.
My suggestion is the shimeji, very well prepared. Great location for being inside the main shopping mall of the capital (Flamboyant Shopping Center).

Southeast side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the southeast side side of town. Start the day off with Araguaia Shopping, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Bosque dos Buritis. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Great option for people looking for regional food. There's variety, and the food tastes fresh, with some of it being prepared or kept heated on a wood stove, traditional in the countryside. Both the main dish and dessert were good. They also sell other products, like canned peppers.

The place to go for lunch, sat out side eating and listening to live music (traditional brazilian) very good buffet style food. You can order drinks if required and delivered to the table. I would visit again
It's easy to mistake this restaurant for a worker's lunch counter with delusions of grandeur and I promise that's not the case. Chao Nativo is a true representation of the top of the mark for traditional food from Brazil's interior, including specialties from the cerrado that you won't find in Sao Paulo. On our visit they had Banana Maca, a type of banana that you can only really get if you know someone who has a tree. It's right in the middle of the hotel district too so you don't have to walk far. They're open for lunch. Get there early for best quality. After dinner, serve yourself from their bottles of artesianal pinga, if you can call pinga artesianal. There are options for vegetarians too, including a cold bar that's way more than just salad. I highly recommend this place, and its satellite restaurants.

Very good mall. It's always pleasant to be there because of its cozy atmosphere.
Stores and parking are a bit pricey but it compensates by cleanliness and safety of the mall.
There are pleanty high quality stores in which I always been treated very kindly and polite.
Foodcourt has many options even for vegan meals.
Also there is many entertainments for kids. Usually they are temporary like books fair, ice skating, Lego playground and things like that that keep changing and improving every time so it never gets boring.
Very beautiful, large, and modern mall. It has AC, a movie theatre (typical in Goiânia, but unfamiliar to an American like myself), a large food court, and American and Brazilian retailers. It can get busy, but it doesn’t seem to get uncomfortably crowded. The surrounding area includes a supermarket.

If you wanna watch a soccer match, stay home and watch it on your TV. It's better, more confortable and safer. If you are coming for a show, that's ok. There are enough space and chairs. And if you're coming to the parking to sell or buy a car, don't forget using 70FP or up sunblock and bringing an umbrella.
For concert is zero. Horrible acoustic! Useless to waste money and go to concerts here

It is a beautiful and well maintained zoo park. It has local animals in excellent conditions. We love the birds, inside and outside of the cages. It is a great experience to be acquainted with local Brazilian animal species. Highly recommended for families.

Some very nice birds some quite unique animals, some horrible small boring cages for the big cats.
Really cool for the price! (Less than $2.00). It's sad to see the condition of some habitats, so for this it's 4 stars. But the experience was very cool with a lot of interesting animals! I recommend!
Great little zoo. My kids had a fun morning seeing birds, monkeys, snakes, and jaguars.
They need to renovate the kids play area.
A small but quite full zoo. There is a large number of local fauna and flora, plus the normal exotic lions and tigers. The animal enclosures are not very big and in the big animal area (lions, tigers, jaguars, even a brown bear) the glass is old and scratched. You can see the animal but will have a hard time taking photos. Well, maybe it is on purpose, since they don't want people taking photos with the flash on. It is a great place to spend time with family and friends.
Overall, the park was nice, and featured a variety of creatures. However, I was disappointed there wasn't a camel, giraffe, or elephant. Also, some of the larger cats there have too small of enclosures, in my opinion.

When you line up for an hour and a half because they are that disorganised they only have 2 cashiers. Then, you cant use credit cards because there is no eftpos machines and have to pay cash. Then you go to buy food and water and they dont have card facilities then whats the bloody point of going. Especially after standing around for 1.5 hours in the heat with children. Avoid like the plague. A disgustingly disorganised place. After walking through the zoo, i upgraded to 3 stars instead of one. Despite the lack of atm or eftpos, it was a good day though the lions tigers and other big cats definitely need much larger enclosures. It is cruel to see such large animals in such small areas

Full of options, pleasant atmosphere, with free parking, wheelchairs are available, but, at some point, parking is lacking sings or guidance. One newbie can't find support from staff if lost. They simply do not show up.

Spacious with a great variety and options for Shopping. This is the Shopping Mall that doesn't feel like you're in a little box like the others in town. Free Parking too! Worth the time every time.
Really good space and stores. Food court kind of lack variety but has all the basics you'd expect in a big mall. Overall it's one of the best malls in the whole city.

The Bartolomeu Restaurant is a cozy and spacious restaurant with a rich selection of wines. The atmosphere is perfect to create that special feeling, as well as the menu which features Italian dishes such as grilled meats and seafood. There is even a carefully selected wine cellar. Some of the popular dishes at the restaurant include Salt Cod Fry and Bacalhau Pil Pil (Codfish Balls).
The place to eat with a fantastic menu and you will not leave hungry. The biggest and most fantastic selection of wine I've ever seen at a resteraunt from all over the world, You go into a part of the restaurant to pick what you want and its bought to the table. Staff are very caring even though I dont speak Portuguese and them English. Please go and enjoy this heaven as I will again soon.

The spacious and inviting venue is perfect for gatherings with friends and family. In addition to the mouthwatering barbecue, they also offer self-serve pasta, seafood, sushi, abundant salad options, and tempting desserts.
Amazing meat, one of the best ever ive had. Great service, went in a busy night and still no much to wait. Hope to be back soon

Really great experience with both service and the food. It took less than 4 minutes until I had food on my plate!
Best churrascaria ever! The meat is well cooked and the service is top notch. They aim to please. The buffet was equally impressive. The only problem is that now I will compare all other Brazilian steakhouses to Nativas and unfortunately will likely be disappointed. Almost forgot, awesome caipirinhas.

The service is great and the food is tasty. If you're not into BBQ, the salad options are abundant, the desserts mouth-watering and they serve seafood too.
Fabulous Brazilian restaurant they have a Buffay is 21 meat cut and big salad bar and soft drinks.

Went to Creekside Medical to get a COVID-19 RT-PCR Test at the last minute. They didn't promise the results by my deadline, but they were professional, courteous, and fast. And I did get my my results by my requested time line.
