I've made a brief visit to Shopping da Ilha, in São Luís. I can't really say how good the shopping centre is but I could find everything I was looking for. Service will depend on who you talk to but I was lucky and found some patient and very helpful people to assist me.

Probably the best shopping on Sao Luis. The stores are greay but a bit on the expensive side... There is ay even have a medical center there, where you can do a full checkup for a great price...

We had a great time bathing in the Araçagy Atlantic water. It was funny, joyful and relaxing. But, I highly recommend absolute Caution to anyone who dips into this water. It's quite scary how easy the water entices you in. The waves seem so friendly then in a moment, they snap you so powerfully.
