Castel Sismondo is a beautiful Renaissance-era fortress located in the heart of Rimini. It was built in the 15th century by Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta, one of the most powerful lords of the region, both as a residence and a stronghold. The castle’s design reflects both military strength and artistic ambition, blending defensive features with elegant architectural details. Today, it stands as a cultural landmark, hosting exhibitions and events, while preserving the legacy of Rimini's noble past. A stunning site that’s definitely worth visiting for its history, atmosphere, and beauty.

Unfortunately, Castel Sismondo is closing in the noon time, I assume for siesta and I didn’t make it to see it inside. Hopefully next time. Outside is beautiful though with the water in front of it.

I'm speechless. The castle is unique, the way they exposed Fellini's art is really amazing and worth visiting. I love art of all kinds and this place fullfield my soul.

Nice building but the expectation of the castle , the inside was all about the filmmaker fellini. My bad. But if you like the history of film a must visit. Within the ticket there is 1 extra museum included.

We got there around 3pm about a hour and a half before closing, there is a Federico Fillini Museum exhibition on at the moment which is stunning, there didn't seem to be access to see any other parts of the castle and restricted to the exhibition areas inside, still worth a visit. Tickets included another venue.

Absolutely gorgeous bridge: to see it and the views from it. Also, it is accesible with a double buggy and it is pedestrian only, so it is a great spot to visit with small children. Still, watch out for the bikes.

Fantastic museum and much larger than expected so leave yourself plenty of time. I loved how detailed the displays were and very much appreciated the English translations! The docents were very friendly and chatty- telling us about their favourite pieces.

Really worth visiting. Museum has artifacts ranging from ancient to current times. It took us three hours to see it all. Temporary exhibition was stunning too. People working there are really friendly and helpful, even if not all of them speak English. If you plan to visit, be aware of the siesta from 1 PM till 4 PM and get yourself lunch in one of nearby restaurants

Really a museum not to be missed and perfectly complements the Surgeon's House that is included in the price. For a city museum, even allowing the rich history that Rimini and so many Italian cities have, i was struck by the depth and breadth of the exhibits which are carefully and thoughtfully curated to dig into and tell the story of Rimini's history. Even being in there for nearly 2 hours we ran out of time and missed out on one level and some of the archealogy we had to do at pace. There are some truly spectacular mosaics here, its great to see the recreations of the Surgeon's house, but as a British tourist its always great to see and understand more about Italy's rich and less covered medieval history.

You can easily spend hours in here! There are so many interesting Roman artefacts and stories. There was an art installation and a temporary exhibition on pandemic diseases. We had reduced ticket for 5 eur because the second floor was closed at the time.

A good restaurant with a nice view of the beach. We (my girlfriend and I) had a two course meal the evening we ate there. We started with some standard cheese and meat mix, which was delicous. After that my girlfriend had Lasagna and I took some cold fish (it itentionally is served cold) meal. We enjoyed both of the courses. Sadly the restaurant seems a little bit pricy which is obviously due to the nice view. However the food was good and the service nice so 4/5 it is!

We were lucky the restaurant was close to our hotel so we had many meals there and enjoyed each one of them. Im very thankful to have enjoyed this heartfelt experience and I can't wait to see you all again. Cheers

This beachside restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere, perfect for those looking to enjoy a meal with a view. However, the experience could be enhanced if the service were quicker and more attentive. The food was good, making it a decent option for beachgoers seeking quality meals. A little improvement in service could make this place outstanding.

The food is very tasty, we have been there several times and have always eaten well and the price is great. The conditions are not friendly, except for two people, the little blonde is conceited and ignorant. But for the good food it is really worth it.

Pizza was a bit burnt,but if it wasn't would be tasty, and fried seafood hmm very small portion and mostly calamari rings only two shrimps few sticks of carrot and courgette good for starter not for main dish. Pasta with clams-tasty, as well as tagliatelle.

We stumbled across Ristorante La Tavernetta sul Mare in Rimini and were so glad we did. I went for the pizza salame piccante — the base was just perfect, light yet crisp, and the salami had just the right amount of heat. I couldn’t resist adding a drizzle of chilli oil for that extra kick. The capricciosa pizza was equally impressive, with fresh, vibrant ingredients that really made each bite a pleasure. Although we didn’t order any fish this time, the seafood dishes we saw heading to other tables looked absolutely sensational. We’ll definitely be coming back — next time, the fish is top of our list.

The food was great! Great taste, reasonable price, and great portion sizes. Service was mixed; while they were helpful with recommendations and generally friendly, as well as accommodating for the fact we spoke English, the service was rather slow and we often had to wait a while to place orders. The atmosphere was certainly very hectic. But overall the experience was enjoyable as the food was great and it's right by the beach.

The stress! My god, the stress! It's easy to trick yourself into thinking that this is a busy and popular restaurant at summertime... The waitresses are overworked, the mistakes are constant, the food is OK when it arrives (if it arrives). But I really have no idea why it is as popular as it is given the number of better restaurants around that have a far more chilled atmosphere. If i were to offer advice, it would be: You have tried to grow beyond your means. You have too many tables for both your staff size and kitchen. We tried to eat at your place multiple times, and even though there were only two of us, our food never arrived at the same time, and often went mixing entirely. The people working there were nice, but overworked. I would like to say I will try again, but based on what I've seen I think it's possibly unlikely.

Great food, nice portion! I know that staff might be very specific... if you come during them lunch you probably won't be serve and you have to wait about 20minutes, as they have food all together like family, so I forgive them and personally I don't care, food is the winner!
