Outdoor Activities
Spiaggia Isuledda is a stunning beach known for its white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters, making it a popular spot for various water activities such as swimming, surfing, and boating. The surrounding area of San Teodoro adds to the beauty of this beach. Additionally, the beach hosts events like music festivals that bring together talented musicians in a direct interaction with the audience and community. The festival also aims to strengthen local cultural initiatives by collaborating with other local events.
beautiful long sandy beach with turquoise water... we found place to stay in every part of the day so its not a beach where you have to run early to get place... also beautiful sunset is here
Angela J — Google review
Clean beach with ultra clear water and white sand. There is facilities such as toilet at entrance, free parking and areas to buy food and drink on the beach.
Paul F — Google review
I wasn’t really impressed. There isn’t much natural shade, so if you don’t have an umbrella you have to rent sunbeds, which cost between €30–40 in September. At the beginning of the beach the water is nice and clear, but towards the end near the rocks it becomes murky and full of seaweed. At the entrance of the beach there are toilets, but they don’t work. There’s also a small beach bar with a good selection of drinks.
Milanka Z — Google review
We visited in mid-October when it was sunny and crowds were less. We spent half the day here and it was very relaxing. If you have a drone you can make great pictures as the beach is surrounded by water and looks different that others. There are toilets just behind the beach but were locked off-season. Parking was free and very close to the beach but I assume they charge when in season.
Яна Т — Google review
Nice soft sand. In September still very hot. Perfect view, turquoise water ❤️
Iulia M — Google review
One of our favorite beaches in the area. Perfect view, turquoise water. It's true there are sections with seagrass but if you continue further, it's beautiful and clean. Parking is free but don't park behind the No entry sign otherwise you risk a fine and we have seen a lot of cars with tickets behind the wipers. The sunbeds and umbrella cost around 45-50 eur which is a lot so bring your own
Jan M — Google review
A nice beach where I spent 3 day from my 7 day holiday. I have chosed the right part of the beach when you look at the see. My only problem was with the water being cold (19-20 degrees) and also with the cold wind. Even at 28 degrees outside, under the umbrela was chill. At the entrance in the sea, there are about 3 meters of big grain of sand and small piece or stone. Otherwise a nice beach.
Marius S — Google review
Really nice beach, not overcrowded (well, as far as Sardinia in mid-July goes...). Make sure you get there a bit early in the morning to get the best spots in the 'spiaggia libera' area (where you do not need to pay or reserve a place): near the middle of the beach.

Boat excursions Zingaro San Vito Lo Capo

Boat tour agency
Explore the stunning coastline near San Vito Lo Capo with boat excursions in Zingaro. Join a luxurious boat trip, accommodating around 20-25 people, for a perfect morning or afternoon adventure. While most information is provided in Italian, the journey offers an amazing experience on the water. To fully appreciate the area's natural beauty, consider visiting nearby attractions such as Scopello and Castellammare del Golfo or taking a trip to Trapani and the Egadi islands.
Great value. The boat is big so you do not get closer to the beaches as with other smaller boats. Well organized and efficient. 👍
Emanuela S — Google review
Host was hilarious and made the experience so entertaining. The catamaran were stable and offered lots of room. The lunch was so tasty. A well spent morning.

10/10 would recommend! It was perfect from the minute we stepped on the boat. They were informative, hilarious, and hospitable! Definitely would do this trip again!

If you want to make a boat tour in San Vito Lo Capo, choose these guys. Skipper Leandro and his buddy Daniele made the tour to a funny exercise. Leandro had a great overview and made us feel safe and Daniele with his great knowledge explained so many details during the tour. Wine and sandwiches were delicious and for free (included in the price). Mille grazie, great job guys! 😍
C. K — Google review
Amazing experience with Leonardo and Daniele! They made it very entertaining for the whole family and even translated the tour for us in English. Lovely sandwich and drinks including local wine to enjoy onboard. Max 12 ppl on tour so it makes it much more personal. Highly recommend booking their tours!

The cost benefit of this excursion is simply amazing! 35€ per person for 4 hours seeing the most beautiful spots of riserva dello zingaro and scopello from the sea. The guides know the story of the island very well and are extremely nice and helpful! They give you a delicious typical sandwich and some wine too. We stopped at dazzling places where we could leave the boat and swim. It’s interesting, beautiful and relaxing, I would totally recommend it.

Beach
Outdoor Activities
San Vito Lo Capo's beach is a renowned destination with a three-kilometer stretch of fine golden sand and turquoise waters. It's a popular spot for couples and families, offering essential amenities. The beach is located in the province of Trapani, at the northwestern tip of Sicily, nestled by a mountain and featuring intense blue seas contrasting with white sand and townhouses. Additionally, it hosts the largest couscous festival in the Mediterranean basin in September.
The beach of San Vito lo Capo is incredible. It's a long sandy beach, and crystal clear water. The proximity with the cliffs make everything looks even more beautiful. It's close to the city and easily accessible, which means more people can go. It wasn't bad in May, there was plenty of space at the beach. The only downside is the amount of paid areas you will find, but it wasn't such a big issue for us as we enjoy the walk. Overall a great experience and I'd definitely go back.
Lucas A — Google review
Visited 12/08/25 - most crowded beach I've ever seen. You cannot see if it's actually beautiful or not, You just see people and umbrellas. The water has nice colour, so probably in another time of the year my rating would be higher, but during peak season I discourage to go there...
Jakub G — Google review
For me the combination of crystal clear water, spectacular turquoise color that difficult to find anywhere else, white sands everywhere, rows of restaurants and cafe, and fully equipped umbrella and sun bed for rent - Really make San Vito lo Capo my favourite beach, and deserve 5 stars rating from me. Well you can enjoy the beach from my pictures and video (objective view without filter) just natural beauty.
Steven K — Google review
The beach might be nice but I think it is hyped too much. The parking spots were overcrowded in august. Any other beach would do the same and be more relaxed. But its not bad.
Philipp D — Google review
I visited San Vito Lo Capo at the end of August, and while the water was stunningly clear and beautiful, the crowds were overwhelming. The beach was packed with umbrellas and people everywhere, to the point where it was hard to even see the sand. You do have to walk a bit into the water before it’s deep enough to swim, but that wasn’t really an issue. What really took away from the experience was the noise and the sheer number of people ..I’ve honestly never seen a beach so crowded.
Alex — Google review
A stunning place where the bright blue sea meets the impressive limestone mountain – absolutely breathtaking! Highly recommended to anyone visiting Sicily.

San Vito Lo Capo Beach is an absolute paradise. The crystal-clear turquoise waters and the fine white sand create a picturesque setting that's perfect for relaxation.

The Chiesa - Santuario di San Vito Martire is a historical complex in the town square dedicated to the patron saint, Saint Vito Martyr. Originally a fortress with centuries of military history, it was repurposed into a church. The site also houses a small museum with various artifacts on display. While some attractions in San Vito lo Capo may require traveling by road, visiting this ancient fortress-church is definitely worth the journey.
Must visit if in San Vito.. Every church is so different in Sicily! Super i fluenced by all the population who had been passing through this wonderful island

Beautiful historical church in the small seaside town of San Vito Lo Capo. Crypt is definitely worth a visit. History goes back to 5th century and fortified in 15th century.
Simon B — Google review
San Vito is a 4th century saint, martyred by the Emperor Diocletian. He was renowned in Sicily for being a healer. He is invoked against epileptic seizures as well as the neurological condition known as St. Vitus' Dance (chorea), due to the involuntary movements caused by the illness. The church was built in the 5th century but many modern touches have been added to the decor. His reliquary is in the lower chapel of the church.

Sentiero per Monte Monaco - Mount Monaco Trail

4.6
(35)
Hiking area
Inizio sentiero per Monte Monaco is a popular hiking spot in San Vito lo Capo, offering a short 3 km route to the top with an uphill climb of about 450 meters. The mountain overlooks the town and provides breathtaking views. Hikers are advised to start early in the morning for a more pleasant experience and to look out for directional signs along the way.
This is a great hike! Definitely not an "easy" one if you are generally not fit. Make sure to come here as early as possible. 6.30-7.00 AM is a perfect time to start the ascend, the sun will be on the other side which makes the whole experience pleasant. There's no parking there, so plan your trip accordingly. And look for little piles of rocks for the direction should you loose your way.
Alex — Google review
Challenging but rewarding hike. I parked on the paved street at the bottom. There is a dirt road up to the start of the hike, where you will see a sign for the trail. The first section is very steep switchbacks until you reach a rocky promontory. Then you will pass through a field with moderate incline, which was filled with flowers and grasses. Keep an eye out for trail markers as the trail is tough to find sometimes. After a certain point you meet up with an old road, which leads you to the top. From here up it's fairly easy. The top has a few old structures, amazing views and can be a bit gusty with wind. Plan for about 3 hours round trip. Enjoyed it thoroughly!
L.A. B — Google review
It’s a good hike, works well for the evening hours. Make sure to start to hike down right after sunset latest to make it on time!
Benjamin K — Google review
Such a nice hike! We are beginners and took the way straight up and down. Going carefully it was very doable and the views were amazing!
Natasja S — Google review
A very nice path up the hill, easily doable in a bit less than one hour up to Monte Monaco. Although the Eastern side is the more popular one to hike up Monte Monaco, this one has many signs that show you the right way up. You get rewarded with stunning views to all directions. Just leave your car at the side of the street down in San Vito.
Fabian L — Google review
A nice walk, but after fires there's very little shadow. Stay hydrated

(Translated by Google) Very beautiful panorama. Not a difficult path, but on a constant slope (500m of altitude in 3100 of path). Unfortunately, given the slope, and the nature of the terrain, during the walk, you cannot enjoy the beautiful landscape and panorama: in fact EVERY step, every single position of the foot, must be checked while walking. Unfortunately, to see the panorama, you have to stop. The terrain is made up of beaten earth and many stones, rather large.. so you cannot be distracted. We left the car where the asphalt road ends, and as the sign says, in an hour we reached the top. Even though we did the walk at the end of June, at 3 pm, it was not particularly hot. Thanks to the light dry and constant breeze that comes from the sea. The entire circular route could be interesting.. (Original) Panorama molto bello.

(Translated by Google) Superb view! For the moderately fit non-alpinist, the trail is nice and challenging but manageable. It climbs and descends briskly, without any hassle. About 1,000 meters away, there's a large free parking lot, which I consider the perfect starting point. My recommendations for summer would be: 1. Start early in the morning, when part of the climb is still in the shade. 2. Bring plenty of water. 2. Ausreichend Wasser mitnehmen

ROUGH with no toilet - you have been warned! If you can see past the €25 for a couple of chairs, the huge amounts of seaweed and long walk in the heat from the car park... then the beach is OK and the water is decent in terms of depth and temperature.

It's a great location , with a nice romantic view. I got tuna tartare and caught fish of the day. The food was good but I liked to get bigger portions especially the main course. One slice of white fish with couple of vegetables it's not enough compared to the price. Basically in this place you pay for the view and environment.

Excellent experience with our last minute booking tonight. Apart from the location and the view which are stunning, the dishes were simply excellent: from the seafood salad to the revisited tuna, all plates were delicious with a welcomed creative touch. Tourist trap! Disappointing food and service. Go to Makari cafe or Azzura, you’ll have better food and a nicer service for a better price! The menu, while extensive, is misleading because what you get served is not as near as what they advertise. Small quantity for Sicily, limited or no real fresh ingredients and already pricy. With smaller portion this makes it even pricier. The staff is rude, not caring, not welcoming and forgets that you are there. They charge twice the coperto too. All in all, avoid this if you can.
