This is my 3rd trip to ski Cervinia. First time I actually stayed 7 days in town. I had a group of 8 people and we all agreed we would definitely go back. The town was easy to get around. Had plenty to do before and after skiing. The people were very friendly. The food was fantastic. The hotel was fantastic! The skiing and weather was second to none. Definitely plan on returning. A+ all the way around...

Perfect ski resort. Very recomemded especialy for beginners. The town itself is small and very nice, but not a real apre ski atmosphere. I advise to find a place to stay close to the Cretaz lift.
The best landscape ever: the Matterhorn is superbe, Les Grand Murailles are impressive, on the Plateau Rosa glacier you feel like touching the sky.
Cervino Ski Paradise is truly one of my favorite ski resorts in the world. The slopes are incredibly well-maintained, the views of the mountains are breathtaking, and there’s a perfect mix of runs for all levels. The lifts are fast and efficient, and the whole area has a wonderful alpine charm that makes every day on the snow a joy. The only thing I wish could be improved is accessibility for younger skiers and snowboarders: it would be amazing if prices were a bit more affordable for those under 30, making it easier for more people to experience this incredible place.
Still, despite that, Cervino remains an unforgettable destination for any snow season lover.
Nice ski resort with great views especially the Matterhorn. Was very warm beginning of April so the snow became very wet and heavy early afternoon but this was to be expected for the time of year. Great skiing for beginners and intermediates. Some flat and uphill sections would benefit from a magic carpet or rope pull
Good number of runs across all levels and the ability to ski over at Zermatt as well is definitely a plus. Just be mindful of the time and not miss the last lift up to be back over at the Italian side as it can be a costly affair to miss the last lift back! View at the top is amazing!

Breuil-Cervinia's Plan Maison area is perfect for building confidence on the slopes, offering long gentle runs with up to 1400m vertical. It serves as the departure point for the cable car connecting Cervinia to Zermatt, boasting stunning views over the glacier during its 4000-meter stretch. The historic cable car linking Cervinia with Plan Maison has been renovated and offers excellent service, providing a beautiful ascent experience, especially at the last pylon.

Disappointing Experience – Overpriced and Poorly Maintained
I was really looking forward to skiing in Cervinia with my friends, but unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. While the views of the Matterhorn are stunning, the overall experience was disappointing.
First, the ski runs were not well prepared. Many pistes were left ungroomed, making the skiing frustrating and dangerous, especially given how much the lift pass costs. I expected much better slope maintenance for a resort of this size.
Second, the international ski pass was overpriced and barely usable. It was available for only one day due to frequent closures, meaning I paid a premium for access I hardly got to enjoy. It felt like a waste of money.
Another major issue was the poor signage on the slopes. It was difficult to navigate, and I often found myself on unexpected runs. The resort could do a much better job in marking trails clearly, especially compared with other nearby resorts of the Aosta valley
Additionally, the variety of slopes and landscapes are mostly suited for beginners. While this might be great for those new to skiing, advanced skiers might find the terrain repetitive and not very challenging. If you’re looking for diversity and more technical runs, this isn’t the best destination.
Overall, the lack of grooming, overpriced lift pass, poor signage, and limited variety in slopes make it a less-than-ideal choice.
Waste of time and money. The route was not prepared for skiing. Poor visibility and poor preparation of the route may result in an accident, but money is more important for the organisers. :(

Overall I love it!!
It feels like it has a great potential. Firstly it is placed in an amazing scenery and it has both flowy typical mtb park trails + long enduro / natural trails.. additionally there are a few bars / restaurants to stop, eat, drink and relax... BUT.. 1) FLOWY TRAILS: The bike park needs at least one more totally different trail, maybe even a bit easier than existing ones. There is actually 1 mtb flowy trail with 3 versions of starts, that means only the very top part is different : 1A - 1C graded as downhill very steep, definitely not for beginners and 1D graded as DH - trail, also joining the trail nr 1 after short diversion in top part. 2) ENDURO/ NATURAL TRAILS.. there is a great selection of trails but all of them start from Cima Bianche, which has 2 trails - both challenging one. Trail 2 is fantastic although after riding it you have a feeling: 'wow! I survived!'. Trial 12 has ( after a huge drop) boring 'gravel' part until you reach the first rocky part. Plan Maison should have a trail joining the enduro / natural trails. 3) STAFF & FACILITIES The lift staff is fantastic, always helpful and smiling. But the lift stations are not really prepared for bikes, no bike standings, the stairs have no bike - roll parts. 4) THE TOWN.. lots of nice restaurants and a few sports shops, but do not expect a big choice of bike shops. Only one super-market with not a great choice of goods overall and very little pre-prepared food. There are a few good mini markets but if you come here for 2 weeks you get out of new options. Pity.
Great potential, but lazy/terrible implementation. Terrible bike transport system(rear wheel is not locked in place, so my derailleur was damaged during transport), difficult to reach singletrails, very few signs, some good parts, but most very boring, bikepark trail is built on sandlike and quite boring. Overall they have some trails with good parts just to claim they are also a MTB destination, but they need way more work to do.

Delicious pastas. Must try the gnocchi. Lovely staff even if the place doesn't look like one of the fancy restaurant it's a very solid choice for a lunch break on the slopes. Just wished they had better beer!
Went there this winter. Breath taking view of the Alps if you go all the way up. Nice walking paths also for who doesn't ski.
A great area for downhill bikers. Two gondolas to access to the top ~2,800m (third one leads to Plateau Rosa, ~3,500m). Great views from above (especially the Matterhorn view in good weather), the route is quite long, not many hikers in the vicinity. No crowds.
Really nice trails, can be pretty demanding though!

Chiesa di Maria Regina Vallis Augustanae is not your typical mountain church, as it was built in the mid-1950s with modern lines that may seem out of place for some. However, it provides a suitable space for worship and meditation. Breuil Cervinia, where the church is located, is more than just a town; it's a hub for skiing, mountaineering, and climbing activities with numerous hotels, restaurants, ski lift points, and shops.

Great shop with lots of the best products
Marco is extremely helpful and friendly, and is very knowledgeable when recommending snowboard gear. Extremely glad that I managed to get my own pair of snowboard boots as well as some new jackets to keep warm on the slopes. Would recommend Uainot to anyone who is looking for good quality snowboard and ski equipment/clothes!

Fantastic shop. The owner took the time to understand the type of boarding I prefer and my skill level then selected a board and bindings most suitable for me. He got the choice spot on, I had a great week riding on my new gear.
Later in the week when my old boots broke he patiently let me try on almost every pair of boots in the shop to find the right pair.

Broke the strap on my binding and was fixed within 5 minutes, excellent service, great variety of stock and super helpful.
Fantastic service! I had a broken binding, with part that they didn’t sell spares for, so they searched through old bindings and found a part to fix it for me. If you have any problems with your snowboard kit, go see them. Super helpful, highly recommend for snowboarders in Cervinia.
I was there in November 2024. I bought goggles and something else.. can't remember now. I think I drove Marko a bit crazy with all my questions and goofing around. I had a delightful dining experience at Maison de Saussure, an Italian restaurant in Cervinia. The cuisine was exquisite and the presentation of the dishes was stunning. The pasta with truffles, in particular, was exceptional. However, there was a drawback as there wasn't proper ventilation leading to lingering food smells on clothes. Nevertheless, the cozy and welcoming ambience made it feel like home. The menu offered delicious food options and an impressive selection of wines.
This was our favorite place in Cervinia. The best food and service. The portions are also big enough to feel full after a dish (other restaurants give you very small portions). The owners seems very nice too, a very cosy place for a delicious dinner. I can recommend it to visit.

It was too late to take pictures, because we couldn’t stop eating. Wow, incredibly delicious and well prepared. Tagliatelle al Ragu is just so incredibly good, I want to drive to Cervinia just to eat that dish. Service was also wonderful, staff are polite and caring. Atmosphere is very cozy, perfect for a break after a day of skiing.

Nice Italian restaurant. Very small and cozy. The staff is friendly and they try to accommodate you. We had the bolognese which was tasty. The house wine was not to our liking. The tiramisu was delicious!
Getting a reservation at this restaurant wasn’t easy! We tried walking in two days in advance but couldn’t secure a table at our preferred time. A friend later gave it another shot, and after a long conversation with the owner, we finally got in.
The food was undeniably good—well-prepared, flavorful—but something felt slightly off, though I can’t quite put my finger on it. The pappardelle, for example, lacked that perfect al dente bite. My favorite dish was the ravioli with cheese and walnuts—rich and delicious, though quite heavy.
The standout? The board of local cheeses and meats—absolutely scrumptious and a must-order for a larger group. And the desserts? Simply outstanding! The apple tart and crème brûlée were the perfect sweet ending to the meal.

Fantastic traditional restaurant, with the owner being in business 43 years. He gave great service us and made us laugh a lot throughout the night! Great cozy restaurant. You get this old Italian vibe in here. I would definitely recommend this place, fantastic friendly atmosphere, huge selection of vines and food was tasty and unique. We had deer stew with polenta, onion soup (it was different than French onion soup) pasta with mussels and some cabbage cheese dish. Everything tasted great, but if you are not into eating unknown foods then they have enough traditional options too.
The place is cozy, the atmosphere makes you feel like your are in the Italian alps, the waiter recommend a risotto dish that is home made, it was delicious, he was so welcoming and friendly towards us, the only downside about this place is the price of the food, other than that i had a good time.
We had a pleasant experience. The food was great; we were recommended the sea bass in salt crust for two people(which it wasn't in the menu, but they told us it was fresh). I haven't tasted fish so sweet and creamy before. And it went really good with the veggies side dish. Indeed, the price was high (68€ for two people), but worth it in my opinion. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. The staff was friendly.

We came at 3:00 PM (well before closing time) and wanted 3 hot chocolate and got told the coffee machine is off already. Then 10 min later some other people wanted a coffee and suddenly the machine is working. They just don’t have a sense for hospitality and regard you as a tourist. It’s sterile inside and luckily we just had a quick drink. BTW: no proper toilets just hole in the ground.
The views are breathtaking. Simply amazing . Food was reasonably good. In any case warm comforting break during ski day .

- the table should be cleaned always from rest overs after every dish not only after the last dish
- they should find a better (or an official way) to serve the cognac especially when is a XO .... Not just bring you the bottle to show it to you but they bring you the bottle after they put the cognac in a cold and very cheep glass (nothing special except the fine cognac that we served)
- if a plate is dirty it should be replaced right away:(
- the glasses and the cutlery was not the best quality (medium at the most)
This is just a feedback for improve your skills is not a bad feedback cause we were satisfied about the restaurant but we did have much and hi value experience in other Michelin ⭐ restaurants.

We enjoyed our Christmas evening meal here with our 2 daughters. It was a set tasting menu which we were provided before booking. It was about the correct level for the 1 star It holds and they obviously work for. The food was tasty and well presented. The waiting staff were excellent. This is a really lovely restaurant that we stumbled across when looking for a last night treat. The staff/management go to a lot of effort to make it a special experience (with oddities like tasting snacks served on cactus and mini tacos on pebble beds), but our party felt the main food was less than amazing. The prices remain cheaper than something similar in UK, but portions were minimal and tastes not blow-away, which they seem to be aiming for. Saying that, the steak second dish was lovely and the two in our party felt the quantity was sufficient, though minimal. Our waiter and waitress team were good fun, especially with an in-depth discussion about the benefit of crazy socks. For two courses for four people and a bottle of wine for €45 we spent €250.
Exquisite food prepared by Swedish chef. Run by husband and wife team. Reasonable pricing for wine. Degustation menu available. Inventive, fusion cuisine with a fresh take with vegetables. Reindeer meat for main course was a delight.

Nature is so beautiful, lots of marked trails for hikers and so clean. It is a stunning experience and such a lovely place, recommended for both hikers and those who are not. Train ride up there is around 40 minutes from Zermatt if you are planning to go all the way up, or a bit less if you are planning to hike a bit till the top station.
We went during Christmas season, beautiful place to spend a complete day here. The view of Matterhorn from level 2 of the gondola is spectacular. There are good restaurants for food and drinks as well.

This is an awesome mountain. Really steep on the cable car (what do you expect people who have put too steep) and nice and cool from the warm temperatures below (as you'd expect being 4000m above sea level).

Probably the icon you could think about Switzerland! Spent 3 days in Zermatt, found it not too difficult to have a look towards the peak as the distance and altitude is not that far away. Rifflesee (Gornergrat area) gives the best view with a mirroring lake surface. The 5 lakes hike in Sunnegga is also spectacular. Both hikes are easy and almost all downhill if you hop off the cable cars from higher stations.

The wonderful Stefano, excellent sommelier and very helpful in all circumstances. Friendly, efficient service coupled with delicious food and a very accessible and broad wine list. This hotel really has charm, consistent quality and a wonderful team.
One of the best luxury hotels I have ever stayed at. Service was impeccable, truly lovely people run this hotel. Spa is great, breakfast was top notch. Dinner also fantastic. I hope to return here again soon!
Although a little far from the whole ski trails in general, the whole hotel has not disappointed me at all. It has large and comfortable rooms for the winter, which is cold outside but is always warm and cozy inside. The staff was exceptional, and were very friendly, as during our stay in the hotel the tuck-in bed was not working as it was supposed to and they simply gave us another room! Overall great food, cozy rooms, and helpful staff members.

Update Dec. 2017. Never fails to impress! Good as always and even better, if possible. The staff is super helpful and now they even have a Tesla Destination charger to juice up your electric vehicle. Definitively one of the best, if not the absolute best Hotel Spa Resort in Cervinia. The restaurant is still as good as before, maybe even a bit better. I still think they deserve a Michelin Star.

There was a staff member who was particularly awesome and very helpful, he even brought our breakfast in our room, very accommodating and shared his knowledge about Cervinia with us. We called him “Galletto”. 😀 He’s good looking too!
Superb Hotel in the ski resort of Cervinia. A standout for both its food and service, it is located in an ideal area-- away from the crowds of downtown, but only a 2 minute drive in the complimentary shuttle the resort provides for guests. Most of the people we met during our visit had been to St. Hubertus multiple times and it's easy to understand why.

Delicious food, nice chalet decor, friendly staff, indoor is warm and comfortable. Overall good restaurant but a bit pricey. They charged us 15 euros for three bottles of still water.
After taking the lift from Zermatt and reaching the top of the Matterhorn, and beyond it is the Italian side, I immediately went down with my snowboard and stopped by this restaurant, the food was delicious, I want to go back there soon for next winter.
We booked the private dinner (only one reservation is held per evening, which means we get the entire restaurant to ourselves)!! The staff picked us up on snowmobiles for the ride to the restaurant which was only the beginning of the MOST AMAZING night!!! Whipping up the mountain via snowmobiles after dark was so much fun!! Upon arrival to the restaurant, we entered into the most cozy, romantic, candlelit ambience ever. It was shockingly beautiful and ALL for just us!! There was a huge display of charcuterie and cheeses, plus passed appetizers - none of which were on our original menu. Caroline (owner) sent me the menu the night before to select all our course options. So when we arrived to all the added appetizers - it was truly a treat!! We enjoyed the first hour and a half sipping champagne, enjoying the charcuterie and passed appetizers. Then we entered to a beautiful dining room to settle in for a long, 4 course dinner. Every single dish was perfection. We decided to order 4 different selections per course and then share them as a family of 4 to taste each dish! After a mind-blowing dinner and experience, we exited to fireworks JUST FOR US!!! We felt like royalty!!! Then we were whisked back down the mountain to Cervinia on snowmobiles… where else in the world can you have this experience!?!! It was truly MAGICAL!!! Caroline, Simone, Chefs, Snowmobile drivers… THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Absolutely incredible!!! We will never forget our evening with you all.

We stopped here for a mid-ski lunch break on their sundrenched patio. The whole place was buzzing with plenty of satisfied customers. Lunch at the cafe was counter service and they were very quick at working through the hungry horde. The tiramisu was divine, as were the lasagna and the Gorgonzola/Spinach Rigatoni. Great prices, excellent service, a top tier spot to eat and drink.
Overall, it was a good experience. The tuna tataki appetizer was enjoyable, but the wasabi ice cream was too sweet for my taste, it felt more like a dessert than an appetizer. For the main course, we ordered the pappardelle with wild boar ragout, which was decent, though the meat was quite chewy.

This is a place you cannot miss when skiing in Cervinia. Great food and cool atmosphere, very hip! We had lunch outside in the sun in the end of February a high season period and the place was packed. You need to book a table in advance. Chalet Etoile only get 4/5 based on that the staff could not handle all people when it was full, they made too many mistakes. I’m not negative they were all very friendly 😊

Many resorts have must-have mountain aprez-ski destinations and Love Cervinia would be my recommendation for Cervinia. The DJ coupled with the Saxophonist brings a welcome party vibe with a glorious vista, nestled just under the Matterhorn. And whilst it can get busy, it’s also relaxed. A lot of fun for a post ski drink and dance.
From the moment my skis touched the Blue 5 slope, the energy at Love Cervinia was palpable. Positioned perfectly on Plan Torrette with jaw-dropping views of the Matterhorn, this hotspot blends epic mountain vibes with unforgettable tunes — the ultimate setting for après-ski glory.
The terrace transforms into a lively dance spot with live DJ sets, pulsing beats, and even the occasional live saxophone jamming along. Pure après-ski euphoria.
Oh, what an amazing place! Live DJ (managed to be part of a party that happened on Thursday, 29th February 2024. It was a phenomenal experience!) delicious food (cakes, goulash, fries ) and drinks and friendly staff members. This is all that you could ask for after a day of skiing.

Such excellent food! This place has a self serve section as well as a dining area. We chose the dining area and it was such an incredible meal, eaten with beautiful views all around. Bring your sunglasses though as it’s a sunny place on a clear day!

Very good atmosphere for an après ski bar, always seems to be full at any hour of the day.
Wonderful location with a great view of Breuil-Cervinia. Up on the mountain yet not a far skiing distance from the town. The descent should be manageable for any intermediate - advanced skiers.
Perfect place for Apre Ski, late sun, great music and a view to die for! They have a big red LOVE sign which is perfect for photos! Easily accessible for red and blue runs back to the town.
