Dehradun in 3 days

If you only have 3 days to spend in Dehradun, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Dehradun, set in the Doon Valley between the Ganges and Yamuna rivers, is known for its pleasant climate, green surroundings and views of the Himalayan foothills. The city serves as a convenient base for visiting nearby hill stations like Mussoorie, the pilgrimage towns of Rishikesh and Haridwar, and national parks such as Rajaji. In Dehradun itself, visitors can see landmarks like the Forest Research Institute, Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple and the Mindrolling Monastery, or explore local markets for regional food and handicrafts. Its mix of educational institutions, military academies and religious sites gives the city a distinctive, laid-back character compared with larger Indian metros.
With favorites like Kumar Sweets And Restaurant, Jai Maa Daat Kali Temple, and Wild West Cafe & Restaurant, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Four Points by Sheraton Dehradun and Kumar Sweets And Restaurant so you can get the best taste of Dehradun while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

Pacific Mall Dehradun

Shopping mall
Pacific Mall Dehradun is a popular spot for both locals and tourists, offering a mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment. It features a PVR cinema showing the latest Bollywood and Hollywood movies, making it an ideal place to hang out with friends. The mall boasts numerous gourmet ice-cream and dessert shops for late-night treats. With hundreds of brands, various food joints, and entertainment options, it's a great destination for individual and group shoppers.
Still the best. One of the oldest Mall of Dehradun but still happens to have the vibes liked by many. There are other happening malls that have come up in recent years, but this place maintains its charms. Located on the shopping and dining heart of the city, Rajpur Road, it well lives the mall culture preferences. The nearby place is all flooded with best shopping and dining places. Must go.
Harshit A — Google review
Good mall for shopping and also entertainment with a lively ambience. The food court has a wide variety, fast food to Indian and global cuisines. Parking space over more than one floor is sufficient for a large number of visitors any time, except on weakends perhaps. Most of the major brands have outlets. The game parlour offers fun activities for all ages groups. And not to forget the mall's multiplex cinema which adds to our entertainment. Overall good experience.
Alok — Google review
Nice place to spend time some of clothing shoes and other brands available, you can taste Different Veg, Non Veg Food. But sometimes you have to park ur vehicles B3 that is outside the mall, that irritating

The mall is located at a very good location and is on the road with many branded outlets and a food court.

a personalized review for Pacific Mall, Rajpur Road, Dehradun from your perspective: Review by Dr. Hukam Singh Sandu – #GTMCare I had a wonderful experience visiting Pacific Mall on Rajpur Road, Dehradun. The mall is spacious, clean, and well-organized, offering a wide variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment options under one roof. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, making it an ideal place for families, friends, or even solo visitors looking to unwind. The selection of brands is impressive, and the food court caters to all tastes—from local delicacies to popular chains. As a naturopath and wellness professional, I appreciate well-maintained public spaces, and Pacific Mall stands out in terms of hygiene, crowd management, and overall ambience. The location on Rajpur Road is easily accessible and adds to the charm of the visit. A great place to spend quality time in Dehradun. – Dr. Hukam Singh Sandu Assistant Professor | #GTMCare

Moti Mahal 🙌❤️ loved this amazing thali from moti mahal at a reasonable cost Rs 119/- This thali included rice, 2 roti ( 1 churchur naan + 1 stuffed laccha naan), paneer, mix veg, dal makhni, raita, salad, sweet + Pepsi. Fruit beer I ordered separately which was okay. Among other food courts, moti mahal at Pacific mall dehradun was providing meal at cheapest cost with so many food items. And without compromising on taste.

Dehradun Zoo

4.2
(19797)
Park
Malsi Deer Park, nestled in the serene siwalik range of Doon Valley, is a charming zoological park and a popular attraction in Dehradun. This miniature zoo offers a peaceful escape from city life, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the beauty of the Himalayas while observing various wildlife species such as deer, nilgais, peacocks, rabbits, Himalayan antelopes, and even tigers.
Been here early August.. At the outset, found this quite well well-maintained, clean. It's a lovely green natural beauty well kept - so a makes for best spot for nature lovers. This is not a big zoo for sure, but had a variety of aviary, aquarium, reptile section, and animals, including various deers, a very healthy tiger and a leopard.. got some exotic birds like macaws, pheasants and other parakeets. Appreciate quite the gap between people and animal enclosures. Also has a decent play area for kids, and good educational displays about wildlife conservation, and the animal species. Was good to see locals just enjoying the space equally as interested in animals. Makes for a decent 2 hour leisurely visit, and am told morning are quieter. Must do - get your own carry water and wear some comfy footwear! P.S:-A unique feature was to not take any plastic bottles inside or pay a 10/- rupee for refund on bringing back your plastic bottles. But then, they had bins inside, so why would people not use them to throw and bring back trash - for the love of money maybe.
Manohar G — Google review
It's a small ZOO majorly having few birds like Ostrich, Emu, Vulture, Macaw etc. Further there is Aquarium having different types of Fishes, and You can also see Snakes, Crocodile, . Main attraction is one Tiger and leopard. That's all There is ample parking ...Ticket is Rs 100 per head above 12 years old. And Rs 50 for cars parking charge.
Soumya R — Google review
Located in Dehradun on a road towards Mussoorie this place is a must visit for wildlife lovers and kids.. The Zoo is well maintained and clean with ample space for animals and is well designed keeping in mind the hilly terrain of the region.. The Bengal Tiger enclosure needs around a walk of 800 meters while there are very well maintained aquarium and reptile zone in the park..
Abhishek B — Google review
The experience at Dehradun Zoo was absolutely wonderful! If you’re visiting with kids, this place is a must. You’ll find a wide variety of birds and animals here, each fascinating in its own way. The main attraction was the majestic tiger, which has recently been brought to the zoo. Overall, it’s a fun, educational, and refreshing spot for families — definitely worth a visit!
Chandraveer S — Google review
I had a lovely experience at Dehradun Zoo! The zoo was beautifully maintained with a variety of birds, reptiles, and animals like tigers and deer. The snake house was my favorite! Suitable for families and nature lovers. Ticket price was Rs. 100 per person. I'd recommend visiting on weekdays to avoid crowds.

Dehradun Zoo is a clean, well-maintained place perfect for families and kids. You can see a Tiger, deer, peacocks, leopards, and various birds in a peaceful, green environment. It’s a nice spot for a short, refreshing outing
Jayesh P — Google review
This is a zoo very different from the ones I have seen before. It's constructed inside a jungle like place making it very natural. It's a beautiful place to visit with family or friends. Wide variety of birds, fishes and reptiles are the main attractions. A tiger was also added their recently. Can be visited during any time of the day.
Deepesh J — Google review
Dehradun Zoo is a clean, well-maintained place that’s perfect for a family outing. 🐅🦜 Surrounded by lush greenery, it offers a peaceful environment and a chance to see a variety of animals and birds in spacious enclosures. The walking paths are neat, and there are benches to rest along the way. It’s not too large, so you can explore it comfortably in 1–2 hours. The entry fee is reasonable, and it’s a great place for kids to learn about wildlife. Best visited in the morning or late afternoon for pleasant weather. A refreshing break from the city’s hustle — highly recommended for nature and animal lovers! 🌿

GUCCHUPANI ROBBERS CAVE

Bodies of Water
GucchuPani, also known as Robber's Cave, is a popular tourist spot in Dehradun with a fascinating history. Legend has it that the cave was once a dwelling place of Lord Shiva and during British rule, robbers used it to hide their loot. The natural formation of the cave between conglomerate and limestone adds to its allure. Visitors can enjoy the serene surroundings and even take a dip in the waterfall.
It's a very beautiful & amazing place to hang out with your loved ones. Once you enter you'll be mesmerized by it's scenery & you can take dive into the waterfalls. The ticket price is 35rs for adults but the drawback is they only accept cash no option for online, so you better carry the loose money. Entry was smooth as we went there early so there was no rush as such. Parking was available nearby with 100rs charges for 4 wheeler. You have to wear slippers because of the waterfalls. You can rent the slippers as there were many sellers. You have many shops on the side lane for breakfast & snacks. The best time to visit there is summers. Hope you all find this helpful 🙏 🙏
Nitin S — Google review
Robber’s Cave in Dehradun is a naturally beautiful spot—a narrow gorge with a stream running through it—but honestly, it didn’t feel as peaceful as I’d hoped. The place was overcrowded, which took away from its natural charm and made it hard to enjoy the serene vibe I was expecting. The rock formations and cold water are impressive, and it could be a lovely experience if you manage to go at a quiet time. But if you’re looking for a calm, reflective escape or somewhere to just breathe and soak in nature, this isn’t the best choice on busy days
Bhargavi — Google review
After spending days in the hills, visiting Gucchipani felt like a refreshing little adventure. The place is known for its natural cave formation where a cold stream flows right through the rocks — and walking barefoot in that crystal-clear water is pure fun. As soon as I entered the narrow cave, the temperature dropped and the sound of running water echoed beautifully. Sunlight peeking through the gaps above created a magical vibe. It’s not a long trek, but every step inside feels like walking into nature’s own secret tunnel. The water was icy cold — perfect to beat the heat — and it was amazing to just sit near the waterfall at the end, dip your feet, and let the calmness sink in. Outside, there are a few small cafes serving Maggi, chai, and pakoras — the perfect mountain snack combo after the walk.
Praveen G — Google review
The crowd ruined the experience as there was hardly any space to truly appreciate its beauty. The cave was overcrowded, and the water flow was minimal—made worse by the number of people, making even the dirty water hard to see. The ticket price is ₹30 per person. It’s better to go on foot, as the route is not suitable for cars or other vehicles. To enjoy it properly, avoid visiting on weekends or during rainy days.
Farheen B — Google review
A beautiful and unique spot in Dehradun! Robbers Cave (Guchhu Pani) is perfect if you enjoy nature and a bit of adventure. Walking through the cold stream between high rock walls is an amazing experience — super refreshing, especially in summer. The place is easy to reach and has basic facilities like changing rooms, lockers, and food stalls nearby. However, it can get quite crowded on weekends and cleanliness could be better. Try to visit early morning for a calmer vibe. Avoid going during heavy rains as the water level rises quickly. Overall, a must-visit place for a short getaway or a fun day with friends and family.
Shubham S — Google review
A Hidden Gem in Dehradun – Must Visit! Robbers Cave is an awesome place to visit with family and friends! The natural beauty is stunning, with cool water flowing through the narrow cave – it feels like walking in a secret adventure path. The stream running through the cave is super refreshing, especially in summer. Kids and adults alike will love splashing around and exploring the unique rock formations. The place is well-maintained, and there are changing rooms and food stalls nearby, which makes it convenient for families. Don’t forget to carry an extra pair of clothes and waterproof slippers!
Krutika K — Google review
Great recreational place to visit but this was very crowdy. Avoid visiting during monsoon since caves get submerged in water and you can only visit till the entrance of the caves. Excellent spot to travel with friends and family have snacks or just hangout.

Times Square Mall

Shopping
Times Square Mall is a modern shopping center in Dehradun that showcases local stores and food vendors. It also boasts a multiplex cinema for entertainment. This newly established complex is relatively unknown to the public, resulting in less crowded spaces. Mukta Cinema, Reliance Trendzs, Bikanerwala, and several other fashion brands are among its offerings. Additionally, visitors can enjoy spa services and hair salon facilities.
It remains less crowded most of the time. Does have branded stores but not much. Apple store is available here, food court area is very small, it's having only 3-4 restaurant. Cinema hall also available but as usual small. As per crowd parking space is okey. Overall it's a good Mall but for those who doesn't like too much crowd. Stores inside the mall gets open only after 11 Am Thanks a lot for going through my review. I hope it will help you out🙏
Arun K — Google review
This crappy Mall is a stark reminder of the ephemeral nature of commercial ventures and the perils of unchecked development. This once-promising shopping center now stands as a desolate monument to failed aspirations, a ghost town haunted by the ghosts of retail past. The mall's demise, likely hastened by the COVID-19 pandemic, is evident in its eerily empty corridors and vacant storefronts. The once-bustling food court and retail outlets have vanished, leaving behind a solitary movie theater as the sole surviving tenant. It's a depressing spectacle, a testament to the fickle nature of consumerism and the fragility of economic ecosystems. One can't help but question the wisdom of constructing yet another mall in an area already saturated with similar establishments. With Pacific Mall, Crossroads Mall, and Centrio Mall vying for shoppers' attention, the viability of Times Square Mall was questionable from the outset. Furthermore, its location on Sahastradhara Road, an area lacking the vibrant nightlife and commercial activity of Rajpur Road, further compounded its challenges. What makes this situation particularly lamentable is the environmental cost. A verdant expanse of land, once teeming with life-sustaining trees, was razed to make way for this concrete behemoth, which now stands as a stark symbol of misplaced priorities. The capitalist pursuit of profit, it seems, often comes at the expense of ecological balance and sustainable development. Dehradun, with its natural beauty and serene environment, deserves better than to be blighted by such ill-conceived projects. It's a city that should prioritize preserving its green spaces and fostering a sustainable lifestyle, not emulating the concrete jungles of larger metropolises. Times Square Mall serves as a cautionary tale, a reminder that progress should not come at the cost of environmental degradation and community well-being. It's a one-star rating not just for the mall itself, but for the short-sightedness and misplaced priorities that led to its creation.

I will give it three stars . Its a good place to be when you are going for little shopping. Or you can say its a mini pacific mall... Although its not that spacious but it has got more than three floors..you will find many brands there ... The pvr is on the top floor.... Though i didn't visit the pvr but I can tell from the outside that it was small comparatively to the pvr in other malls... In the third floor there is food corner and you can have snacks there...some stores are vacant and it does not have much stuff as compared to the others... 99store is also there its good for stationary stuff and some cute little things... Thats it i guess ...im writing this much nonsense because i want to complete it around two hundred words and i think its almost completed... Thank you... Do vosit this mall with your family and friends...

Times square mall is a good place to have fun with your beloved ones as this place is not crowded. This is a new shopping complex and not famous among the peoples of dehradun. It is having mukta cinema, reliance trendzs, bikanerwala and many more fashion brands along with a spa and a hair salon. Fun court is also there for childrens and adults too. Bowling facility is also there. Over all i can rate it 8 out of 10. Water facility is good as visitors can get free of cost hygenic drinking water.

In Times square mall at second floor there is an educational institution named E.R.O.S. which is a hub of quality education..This institute is working in education field since 2005 in Dehradun..... It provides computer education (C, C++, JAVA, Python, PHP, Dot Net, Web Designing, Tally, AutoCAD, etc) to school and college students and also provides tiutions to school students and provides classes of Spoken English & competitive courses.. Now E.R.O.S. has opened it's unit in Times square mall..Every family nearby times square mall should get benefit of this organization..it's really awesome.. It is registered under state govt. and provides certificate for every course.. Highly rated..

I don't know anything about price (high or low) because I didn't buy anything from here. Only take mja(enjoy) of lift and other. I asked about gaming but prices were high as 5 minutes game charges 60 ruppess.

Four Points by Sheraton Dehradun is an elegant hotel that offers sophisticated rooms and suites, along with a stylish bar, a restaurant featuring a terrace, and a well-equipped gym. The accommodations are comfortable and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The hotel's management is efficient and the breakfast buffet offers a diverse range of delicious options. Conveniently located next to the Pacific Mall on Rajpur Road, it is easily accessible. However, ongoing renovations may cause some construction noise until 8pm.
Very beautiful property. Right from driving in to hotel and handing over key for valet parking to check in to actually getting into room was flawless. Absolutely brilliant work force and very polite behaviour. Room was very tidy and bathroom was super clean with well maintained hygiene. Housekeeping was quick to deliver additional dental kit. It seemed as the boy was outside our room and as soon as we requested for additional kit, the door bell rang in no time. Dinner at restaurant was very delicious and was served with great affection and warmth. Breakfast was widely spread and had numerous choice for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Ample staff to attend to guests. Next day morning, I received my car which was cleaned on exteriors as I had requested valet not to allow cleaner to open my car as it had lot of stuff in it. I, along with my wife, enjoyed every second of our stay and would definitely try to keep on staying at Marriott only in our forthcoming visits across India. Marriott is undoubtedly ruling hospitality industry. Our best wishes to stay on top!

Great hotel in an excellent location. We spent 6-days at this hotel in May 22, over two stints. The room were clean and well serviced and all had balconies showing mussorie. The food, breakfast and evening meals, was brilliant with lots of choices to meet the needs of all discerning customers no matter what part of the world you come from. The staff were attentive and could not do enough for us. Our cups and glasses rarely remain empty for very long.

Nice Property to Stay. Staff is good and polite. Room Service is good. Food is also good. Variety is too less ( despite good booking). It's like they are imposing the things on Guests. Rooms are Big and Spacious. Have All amenities ( Except Mini Bar !!). Reception people need to be quick in delivering Room ( there internal communication need to be done and proper). Overall Experience is good.

My parents' (both Senior Citizens) recent stay in Four Points by Sheraton Dehradun was excellent. The following were the highlights of their wonderful stay: 1) High quality of breakfasts and meals. 2) Cleanliness of their room and hotel premises. 3) Warm hospitality and wonderful care by hotel staff. 4) Punctuality of service. 5) Extra efforts by front office staff for an overall comfortable stay. Overall, they had a very memorable stay and would definitely recommend this property.
Rohit B — Google review
Stayed here for 4 days, and it was the best hotel experience ever hands down. The rooms were extremely comfortable and lively, the hygiene of the hotel was extremely good, the staff were prompt in their service. Whatever the customer needed they made sure we had it. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I ever had, it had something for everyone’s liking. I would like to make a special mention about the executive chef, Mr. Sunder Chand, who kept on asking us about our stay everyday, and made sure we were having a good one. He also made us a very healthy organic drink, which my family and me really loved.
Anjali K — Google review
We stayed the property for only a single day and we were totally satisfied by every aspect of the hotel, given the limited number of luxury stay options in Dehradun, this hotel should be preferred for family as well as business trip. The staff at the hotel will treat you accordingly . This I feel is the best part. Coming to the specifics, 1. Room sizes are average but you would not feel any discomfort/ any thing wanting in the rooms. They are well equipped and as per the standards of a starred property. 2. The restaurant is really good and the food preparation is amazing. The breakfast buffet was great and well laid. Everything was fresh and tasty. The staff was well alert to the requirements of the various guests present and were helpful and polite. 3. The staff at front desk were very polite and courteous, the manager was thoughtful enough to mention, feel free to order milk, khichdi etc for the kid, it will be on us. That's a sweet gesture. 4. The in room service was also great and very prompt 5. Highly recommended

Firstly this was an overbooked place and we had to search a place late night with our baby because our booking was mysteriously cancelled . We had to rebook it one more time after spending a night at different hotel. The suite room was clean and tidy but I surely think it needs an upgrade. The hotel staff were good but also slightly ignorant. They work the best only when you ask them too. Ramesh at the restaurant was very helpful. The breakfast had good options. The hotel was baby friendly and we had a good stay.

We booked this hotel for its proximity to the malll and that it belongs to an international chain. The lobby (for me) looks blah. Needs to improve interiors for it to look warm and welcoming. Room is big, spacious and with good furnitures and fixtures. Got a balcony but no view... just good to take in some fresh air. Food is great. We had room service twice. Buffet breakfast and dinner have limited selection but quality is there. Prepare to take staircase as their lift is really small.... even for 2 people, i felt so uneasy.

Indian sweets shop
Kumar Sweets And Restaurant is a delightful gem that has been serving up traditional Indian sweets since 1948. With its charming pink walls and vintage decor, this establishment offers a nostalgic atmosphere where you can indulge in classic treats like rasgullas and kaju katlis, alongside modern dessert adaptations. The menu also features must-try items such as Bal Mithai and Jhangora ki Kheer, making it a haven for sweet lovers.
A very homely place, this is nothing fancy but perfect for when your budget is tight. The quantity is fair and it's overall good value for money. The ambience is what you'd expect but it all works out. There isn't much wait time as well. The constant crowd of people eating here testifies for the establishment. It's a fairly good place.

Kumar sweets sahastradhara has completely degraded their name and reputation with these repeated encounter of ill hygienic and low standards of sweet preparation. pathetic, should not buy sweets from here they sell Desi ghee fungus ladoo and barfi made with ants and hairs.Several times these things have happened but to no avail

I've been a big fan of Kumar Sweet's Rasmalai. Tasted it after a few years on my visit to Doon, and I was a little taken aback after seeing the price of a piece double. I assumed it would have been done to keep the quality intact, but sadly, that also wasn't the case. The ras isn't thick like it used to be, its watery just like other shop. It's lost it's charm.. sad!

Food is quite good here. Like a normal family dining place. We had chole bature which was extremely tasty. Momos were pathetic. But yeah rest of the things were good. Like dosa and sambhar, noodles was also quite good. Service also was good. Overall a decent restaurant. We got a bill of 688 for four people. So it was not very pricey.
Vibhuti G — Google review
Kumar sweets have eventually degraded their quality and services. Asking customers to wait for orders and then say that order cannot be prepared. Hygiene is also missing badly. They are not even washing the dishes on daily basis. Same oil used over and over again without filyerrimg/cleaning the vessels. Please wash the dishes at least!! The pic I am adding is for the first order of jalebi for the day. Just watch how clean their vessel is! Btw I asked the store manager he said that these will be clean after my order will be placed!! LOL

Worst sweet shop ever they can’t even provide green chutney with samose even if we request them they say no no. they do not have manners how to treat customers pathetic service the owners should look into the manner how the employees treat their customer. Pathetic!! No matter how good the taste of their sweets and other dishes is but what matters the most is how they treat you they can’t even fulfill a small request of their customer.

Had the most amazing experience at Auric - Rooftop Restaurant in Dehradun for my mom’s anniversary dinner. They truly went the extra mile—with printed photos, a candle-lit table, a custom cake, and even a bouquet from their side. Everything felt so personal and special. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the music—unlike any other place—was just perfect. The whole vibe was classy yet warm. Huge thanks to the team for making the evening so memorable. Highly recommend!

From the moment I stepped in, the ambience stood out — elegant, cozy, and thoughtfully designed to create a relaxing vibe. It’s a perfect spot whether you're out for a casual meal, a date night, or celebrating a special occasion. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our visit. Their hospitality added a lot to the overall dining experience. Coming to the most important part — the food — it was absolutely delicious! Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. You can tell the chefs put a lot of thought into the quality and taste. Overall, I had a great time here. Auric offers a perfect combination of good food, lovely ambience, and courteous service. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality dining experience in Dehradun. Will surely be visiting again!

We had our daughter's birthday celebration done here in the evening hours. We had a gathering of about 50 people(kids & adults). I was worried if the staff would be able to manage the crowd or not but belive me,from the manager(Mr. Girsh) to the waiting staff everyone did a wonderful job. They took care of everyone in such a fine manner that we all felt right at home. Hats of to the owner Mr. Manish and his management that we were all so impressed. And above all the food....ooh the food was absolutely to the point perfect. Excellent presentation and totally mouth watering...each and everything that was ordered. Right from Basil tomato soup, to the thin crust pizzas, from creamy white sauce pasta to the goden honey fries and then the pav-bhaji. Everything was just perfect. They even baked us a 5 pound cake in thier own bakery, which was damn cute and as tasty as it could be. Just perfect. Thank you all at Best Buddy Café.

A nice little cafe situated on Rajpur road. A fairly new establishment. Quick and prompt service. Although the food was average. Roadside parking available. Nice interior. Okay for one time visit.

Best Buddy’s Café is a place where you can let your taste buds explode, with a gigantic range of dishes presented in the most delightful manner, and not just for the presentation but are also cherished for the taste they deliver. A single glance at the menu would be enough to tell the amount of consideration that has been put into creating it, with balanced options for both the vegetarian as well as the non-vegetarians. All the items are affordable and worth the value spent, in terms of quality and quantity. They seem to have got the pricing just right! When it comes to food, it’s a wow place to be! The staff is very thoughtful and considerate about the diners. The consistency, that the chief and his team manage to uphold with their food as well as service is applaudable. The range and presentation of food and beverages is impeccable. I’m highly impressed by how hygienically the food is prepared and so gracefully plated. So, BBC is certainly, a place to enjoy some nice food, music, and simply relax with a nice cup of coffee, (Well! Hot chocolate, in my case). :D
Tanya H — Google review
The ambience was good , however the food was way below average. Neither the taste nor the quantity justifies the pricing and the time you spend waiting for your order. The platter was a tiny platter with almost nothing worth the taste. It was my first and last visit today. Would not recommend. The Carolina crepe portion was also surprisingly tiny. The food did not match the description, too simple compared to the description.

Keto omelette was unexpectedly good. I don’t care much for omelettes but this really hit the spot. Ordered a Japanese Matcha Latte which was unavailable, so opted for a Himalayan green tea instead, which was your run-of-the-mill Twinings green tea. The ambience of the place is comme ci, comme ca. Could be more cozy and inviting.

*Follow me on Instagram @cafes_of_dehradun* Where- Pacific Hills, near Mussoorie Diversion, Dehradun. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Ambience- I don't know how much you like this coffee shop kind of ambience but I don't mind it at long as they sustain the quality of their food. My two-time visit here in a matter of months makes it pretty obvious that I like @bestbuddyscafe and their food. Not gonna lie, I would go there again sometime to grab a quick meal/brunch. I should also mention it is a bit smaller than your usual cafes in Dehradun so heads up. You can also head to my reel section for a virtual tour of this cafe and be the judge. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Food- I went for their healthier side of the menu (Except the beverages) and here's the list. 3/5 ◽Peach and Cranberry Iced Tea 4/5 ◽Latte* ◽Grilled chicken salad* ◽Chicken Panini sandwich* ◽Grilled chicken platter *Must try ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Price- Approx ₹500-700 for two, depends on the order I guess, as they have a broad range of prices.

Tapkeshwar Mahadev Mandir, a renowned Hindu temple in Dehradun, is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is known for its tranquil atmosphere. The temple is situated inside a natural cave with water dripping from the ceiling, creating a serene ambiance. It houses one of the earliest Shivlings and is located on the bank of the seasonal Asan River. The temple complex also includes other shrines and deities, making it a popular pilgrimage site in Uttarakhand.
Tapkeshwar Temple, an ancient revered Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva or Mahadev located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. It is famous for its natural Shivling inside a cave, on which water continuously drips from the cave's ceiling. This unique phenomenon gives the temple its name, "Tapkeshwar," which is derived from the word tapak, meaning "to drip". There is also a sulphur cold spring near the temple for devotees to take a holy dip. You need to walk down approximately 100+ steps to reach the temple and while returning you need to take these steps uphill so not recommended for people who have walking or knee problems.

The name Tapkeshwar Mahadev means the natural “dripping water” (हिन्दी में टपकना), over natural Lord Shiva’s presence in form of Shivalinga. This temple dates back to the Mahabharata era and is said to be connected to Guru Dronacharya. The temple has two natural Shivalingas, with water continuously dripping on them. The temple is situated inside a natural cave on the banks of the Tons River. Great place to visit for the devotional people. Temple is not only a place of religious significance for devotees of Lord Shiva but also a popular tourist destination for those exploring the spiritual aspects of Uttarakhand. The damage done by the Sept 2025 Cloud burst has been mostly repaired in first week of October.

Surrounded by greenery and built around a natural cave, the temple has a calming atmosphere .The continuous water droplets falling on the Shiva Linga adds a unique, serene charm. The walk down to the temple is beautiful, and the sound of the flowing river nearby makes the whole experience even more soothing. The cave itself is cool and naturally lit, giving it a sacred and ancient feel.

It's just a divine experience for the spiritual seekers!! The temple is present amidst the panorama of caves, the fiercely flowing "Asan" river by its side and many more pictures and idols of religious and spiritual significance. This temple is basically dedicated to Mahadev and is named after the fact that the water droplets fall continuously from the roof inside the cave directly on the Shiva Linga (the symbolic of Mahadev); hence the name goes Baba Tapkeshwar!! A must visit devotional site for seeking blessings of Mahadev!! Har Har Mahadev!! Baba Tapkeshwar sabke upar apni kripa drishti banaye rakhe!!🔱📿🙏❤️

It’s truly a divine experience for every spiritual seeker! The temple is nestled amidst majestic caves, with the fiercely flowing Asan River adding to its serenity and power. The entire atmosphere feels sacred — surrounded by spiritual idols and symbols that radiate peace and devotion. 🕉️ This ancient temple is dedicated to Lord Mahadev (Shiva). It is named “Baba Tapkeshwar” because water droplets continuously fall from the cave’s roof directly onto the Shiva Linga — symbolizing the eternal blessing of Mahadev Himself. Shree Guru Ram Rai Darbar Sahib, built in the 17th century, is a significant Sikh temple in Dehradun. It showcases an impressive blend of Indo-Islamic architecture with minarets, domes, and murals reflecting a fusion of cultures. As the oldest Sikh pilgrimage site in the city, it holds great spiritual importance for devotees and attracts visitors from various backgrounds. The annual festival of colors celebrated here adds vibrancy to the atmosphere.
I visited Jhandaji Darbar Sahib last week during my visit to Dehradun. I was amazed by the peaceful and divine environment of this place. The plus point was that it was at a walking distance from my accommodation Hotel The Park Residency which was also great. All in all a great trip to Dehradun to remember for life.

Dehradun's iconic Gurudwara, which is popular for its Islamic styled architecture. I was absolutely enchanted once I entered this place of worship. From the outside this Gurudwara resembles a King's Palace. After entering you will find a temple inside and plenty of green spaces to sit on. The intricate architecture on the walls of this Gurudwara sets it apart from the rest. You will not find any other similar place with such unique wall designs and colours. This Gurudwara is really well maintained and it's not too far from the railway station as well. Recommended.🩵
Samrat C — Google review
Guru Ram Rai was the son of the seventh Sikh guru, Guru Har Rai, and was excommunicated by his father for altering some words in the Guru Granth Sahib in order to please the Mughal Emperor, Aurangzeb. After being excommunicated, Ram Rai set up a camp (a ‘dera’) in the valley (‘doon’, in the local Pahadi dialect) here along with his followers, the Ramraiyas. This, too, was where he built (with the help of a grant from Aurangzeb) a beautiful complex of buildings, the Guru Ram Rai Darbar Sahib, more commonly referred to as Gurudwara Ram Rai. The complex consists of five buildings and surrounding gardens, and the murals painted onto all the buildings here—some of them 300 years old—are breathtaking. They depict a wide range of motifs and subjects, from plants and flowers, to scenes from Sikh history, from Hindu mythology, and more. Also, since different parts of the complex were painted at different times, painting styles vary, from the Mughal-influenced early paintings to later Garhwal-influenced, and even those with a colonial influence (for instance, if you look up at the façade of the gate, you’ll see depictions of European men and women among the images of more obviously Indian people). Don’t miss this one, it’s a gem. No entry fee is charged.

The Parade Ground is an expansive open area utilized by the Indian Army for parades, as well as hosting circuses, sporting events, and trade fairs. Visitors seeking to attend a marathon event are advised to visit this location during the early morning or evening hours. The overall experience of this venue is positive; however, it is recommended that those planning a visit choose these specific times of day.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Parade Ground in Dehradun for the annual Dusshera celebration, and I was thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. It was not just a festival; it was a perfectly managed community event that showcased the best of the city. The management and organization of the massive Dusshera gathering were, quite frankly, outstanding. Despite the large crowds attending the festivities, everything—from entry and crowd control to vendor placement and general safety—was handled with meticulous planning and seamless execution. This high level of management ensured that the vibrant spirit of Dusshera was celebrated freely and safely by everyone. It is clear that the recent efforts by the Uttarakhand government to redesign and upgrade the Parade Ground have been highly successful. The physical improvements to the venue have significantly enhanced its capacity and aesthetic appeal, making it a truly appropriate and impressive central location for major cultural and public events. It is refreshing to see such a crucial public space so well-maintained and thoughtfully developed. A heartfelt thank you to the Uttarakhand government for their foresight and effective execution in managing and redesigning this landmark location. The investment in this space has paid off wonderfully, creating a fantastic and functional hub for the community. I highly recommend visiting the Parade Ground, especially when a major festival is underway. This review is a testament to both the beauty of the festival and the operational excellence demonstrated by the local authorities.

The surrounding area is well-connected, with markets, cafes, and hotels nearby, making it convenient for visitors from other cities. Overall, Parade Ground is not just an open field but a landmark that represents Dehradun’s cultural and educational spirit. Any program held here gains significance due to its legacy and importance in the city’s public life. It truly stands as a pride of Dehradun.

Crossroads Mall

Shopping mall
Crossroads Mall in Dehradun offers a unique shopping and lifestyle experience, featuring a variety of stores, dining options, and entertainment facilities. The mall is home to well-known brands like Polo Assn, Ray-Ban, and United Colours of Benetton. Visitors can also enjoy the cozy food court as a popular hangout spot for students. Additionally, Crossroads Mall boasts boutique fashion stores and traditional handicraft shops, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Good mall with all the brands one is looking for. We went there to watch a movie and it was a good experience. Was a lil far from where we are staying but the drive was good. Ample parking space and had a good food court as well. Overall a nice place to hang out and shop when at Dehradun. Had a nice time. They have diverse brands of clothes, shoes, food. They even have an arcade. The place is calm and the staffs are quite friendly.

The name should be Dead Mall!! The entire place is almost vacant of course the stores are all there but the only people within are the staff! 😄 Zudio in the winter season is selling cheap cotton clothes. The raucous laughter of the silly sales girls drives away any customer who steps in out of curiosity. The staff is having a field day yakking away, not bothered or helpful to the one or two people looking around. Then we have the Fresh n Easy store that has a vast variety of edibles with not a single buyer in sight. Their bakery section too is deserted with a disinterested staff. The cakes, pastries and pizzas or patties are just languishing there since God only knows how many days!! The cold storage has a good variety but do not pass on any dealer discounts to the customers. Everything is sold on MRP. They display various types of cheese, chocolates and biscuits but everything is exbortantly priced. This store here is not worth a visit at all.
Anuja A — Google review
The mall is small and has few visitors, with fewer shops compared to other malls. The restrooms are decent, and there’s a transparent elevator that looks unique. The ground floor has a place selling candies and food, but the prices are a bit high.

Small mall. Road leading to it has enough space. Parking is spacious. Not many high end shops, mostly basic shops
Aditya J — Google review
I visited this mall recently, and honestly, it felt more like an abandoned space than a shopping hub. Hardly any customers were around, and the few who came didn’t seem interested in spending beyond ₹1000.Walking through the corridors, I could clearly see shop owners and their staff just waiting, staring at the empty hallways. Some were even watching each other’s stores out of boredom. It was almost painful to see hardworking business owners with no support. What disappointed me the most was the attitude of the mall authority. Instead of taking steps to improve walk-ins, promote events, or create attractions, they seem to be sitting back with folded hands, watching the situation silently.A mall is supposed to be vibrant, lively, and buzzing with energy—but here, the silence spoke louder than anything else. Unless the management wakes up and takes action, this place will continue to remain lifeless, no matter how well-designed it is. @crossroadmall

I have visited this mall and honestly they can do much better but defination one thing that this mall had a edge over others are their food court. I mean I had such a wholesome meal in such a reasonable price 🤤 that I actually cannot imagine. Must visit atleast for food court otherwise it is alright you can find different branded stores.

T Bistro, located in the heart of Dehradun, is a delightful haven for tea lovers and food enthusiasts alike. With an impressive selection of nearly 130 varieties of tea, this café goes beyond just beverages to offer a diverse menu that caters to every palate. The ambiance is vibrant and inviting, making it an ideal spot for socializing with friends or unwinding after a day out—perhaps following an exhilarating paintball session at the nearby Crossroad Mall.
The vibe is lively and trendy - great music, stylish interiors, and a fun crowd. The menu offers a good mix flavors, and everything we tried was flavorful and well-plated. Their Coffe and food are definitely worth a try too. The staff was courteous and the service was smooth. Perfect spot for a casual outing, weekend brunch, or evening hangout. Would love to visit again!✨❤️

I recently visited this place, The ambiance is pleasant, and the staff is friendly. The food is average. The place can get a bit noisy due to its location at an intersection. It's a great spot for hanging out with friends, offering a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere, and the service is generally quick. However, during rush hours, it may take longer to receive your order. We tried the veg platters, white sauce pasta, crispy corn, soups, and salad. The crispy corn stood out, while the rest of the food was just average in taste and slightly overpriced. It's a nice place for get-togethers or coffee dates. Overall, it's a good experience.

The coffee shop is located on the first floor opposite Crossroad Mall. Prices are a bit high but the quality is great, and the pastries are delicious. The ambiance is beautiful, with long, comfy sofas, hug pillows, and backrest cushions, making it very comfortable. It's a perfect spot for dates or business meetings. The staff is super enthusiastic. Deserves a 10/10, a must-visit when in Dehradun.

T Bistro is hands down one of the best and most affordable places to eat. The food is consistently great, whether you’re in the mood for a coffee, a sandwich, or a pizza. The menu offers something for everyone, making it a go-to spot for any occasion. What sets this place apart is its unique and inviting vibe. It’s not just another café or pizzeria—it has a special atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. Whether you’re catching up with friends, working on your laptop, or just grabbing a quick bite, T Bistro feels like the perfect spot. The quality of the food speaks for itself. The sandwiches are fresh and flavorful, the coffee is rich and satisfying, and the pizza is made just right. It’s rare to find a place that does all three so well. With reasonable prices and a welcoming ambiance, T Bistro is a hidden gem that deserves more recognition. You really can’t go wrong with this place. Whether you’re a regular or visiting for the first time, you’ll leave satisfied and wanting to come back. Highly recommended!

Great weekend hangout. But one who doesn’t prefer loud noise might not like it but they do have space in the ground floor that’s totally silent. Overall liked the ambience and space. Pepperoni pizza and lemon soda was the best.

Review of T Bistro, Dehradun (210 words) T Bistro in Dehradun is a hidden gem that effortlessly blends cozy vibes with gourmet delights. Nestled away from the city’s usual buzz, this charming café instantly captures your attention with its chic decor, warm lighting, and relaxed ambiance. Whether you're looking for a peaceful brunch spot or a romantic dinner escape, T Bistro sets the perfect scene. The menu is a delightful mix of Continental, Italian, and fusion dishes, each plated like a piece of art. Their wood-fired pizzas are a must-try—crispy, cheesy, and bursting with flavor. The creamy pastas and loaded burgers are equally irresistible, but it’s the attention to detail that truly stands out. Fresh ingredients, unique flavor pairings, and perfect presentation make every dish memorable. What truly elevates the experience is the staff—attentive, courteous, and genuinely passionate about food. The coffee is top-notch, with an aroma that fills the air and lingers like a comforting hug. Their desserts, especially the Tiramisu and gooey chocolate lava cake, are a sweet finale to an unforgettable meal. T Bistro is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience. Perfect for foodies, Instagrammers, and anyone who loves great food in a beautiful setting. Don’t just dine, indulge. T Bistro is where taste meets elegance in the heart of Dehradun.

Another cute cafe near parade ground “Y cafe & Restaurant”. Ordered black coffee (which they served nescafe only). And a “Big Bully Chicken Burger”. This type of Burger should be bullied as the bun they used isnt the burger bun, chicken patty was in house but lacking in taste. Total bill for two items were 509₹. Pata nahi kya ho raha hai doon city ke restaurants ko 🤦‍♂️ Or may be our taste has changed 😊

Doonites have fond memories of White House, which used to be a favorite venue for weddings ! The Y Cafe is located inside the White House as you enter the main building! One of the few cafes located in the heart of the city to have a big lawn in front. The decor inside has been done tastefully! The place is cozy and exudes very soothing vibes. It's a peaceful place, and you might not feel that you are in the center of the city! There's enough parking available for four wheelers! Overall, it was a nice place to be for a quiet cup of brew with some reading alongside !

I recently visited a cafe and restaurant called "Y Cafe and Restaurant" which boasted a luxurious and premium ambiance. While the atmosphere was undoubtedly impressive, my overall experience was marred by disappointing food. The cafe's ambiance exuded a sense of elegance and sophistication. From the stylish decor to the comfortable seating arrangements, it was clear that great attention had been paid to creating a visually appealing space. The ambiance alone gave off a positive and inviting vibe. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the food. I ordered the lasagna, hoping for a flavorful and satisfying dish. However, it fell short of my expectations. The taste was average at best, leaving me feeling underwhelmed. It was disappointing to have such a lackluster culinary experience, especially considering the premium nature of the establishment. Furthermore, I decided to try their mango shake, only to be met with further disappointment. Despite the seemingly simple nature of a mango shake, it was surprisingly poorly executed. The flavor lacked intensity and freshness, and the overall quality did not justify the price I paid. It was a letdown to have such a basic beverage poorly prepared. Considering the subpar quality of the food and beverages, I found the overall experience not worth the price. While the ambiance was undeniably impressive, it failed to compensate for the lackluster culinary offerings. If you are primarily seeking a vibrant ambiance and are willing to overlook the disappointing food, then Y Cafe and Restaurant may still be worth a visit. However, if you prioritize the quality and taste of the food, I would recommend exploring other dining options that can offer both a pleasing ambiance and delicious culinary delights.

This cute little and cozy café has a casual vibe and so it's a perfect hangout zone for an evening chit chats. Even if you are visiting solo, they have a micro library which has various genres (in case you enjoy reading). Otherwise just enjoy looking at their style of interior and decoration along with your meal.

Good ambiance, good place, good food and good music. Easy to reach this place, very hygiene and very courteous. We had Alfredo pasta, cheese corn nuggets, veg burger, chocolate shake. Alfredo pasta was lip smacking good. Nuggets could have been better. I have rated 4 star only because of bun used in veg burger. Very bad, no taste and hard to chew. I wonder why such place had such boring, hard and thick buns. Overall good place to visit with friends and family

If you’re looking for a wedding friendly hotel, just come here without any doubt. We needed a stay where the guests could easily rest and have a common area for mehendi and haldi. It was all there with DJ and proper lighting too. The prices are reasonable and well justified. Even the hotel owner was himself looking after preparations. Mr. Siddharth is such a genuine person. Most importantly they were flexible with little adjustments like extended stay, or late checkout amidst wedding chaos, they were understanding and respectful throughout. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Thanks for your hospitality!

Visited this place on a tuesday with family. The staff wasn't bothered at all and we had to shout to get them to be attentive to us multiple times. They 'forgot' to provide us with forks. The soup and starters were served on time and they were good. We had- Lung fung soup (5/5) Dahi kebab (5/5) Tandoori fish (5/5) The main course was served after a very long delay, which is surprising because the restaurant was pretty much empty. The main course was delicious; we had - Garlic naan (4/5) Schezwan paneer (1/5)// the paneer was very chewey and it did not taste good. Paneer lababdar (5/5) // one of the best in town. The staffs' negligence, carefree behavior, and an unwelcoming vibe didn't make up for a good experience. There are better options in Dehradun.

The place used to be very good with yummy food across all courses. But the quality has deteriorated drastically, especially in oriental snacks. The soup had too much of Soya sauce, and it was the same with Chilly Chicken. The main course was still good and the staff was generous enough to replace the soup. But overall, there are better places in the city that can offer good food and ambiance within the same price range.

This is a magnificent Temple. One old car used by VIPs is also parked here. Large lawn. Before entering the Temple, you have to leave your footwear and you have to pay ₹ 3 per pair. Photography is not allowed inside. There are monks present inside to ensure that. What caught my attention was the large number of instructions and restrictions. Perhaps visitors are not disciplined and these rules are must.

The atmosphere inside is calm and divine, with monks chanting softly while holding their japa malas, creating a peaceful vibration that instantly soothes the mind. Hindu temple
Jai Maa Daat Kali Temple, also known as Daat Kali Temple, is a Hindu shrine dedicated to the goddess Kali. Situated near Dehradun on the Saharanpur route, this temple holds great significance for devotees seeking blessings from Goddess Kali. The temple's history dates back to June 13, 1804 when an engineer was instructed in a dream by Maa Kali to construct a shrine at this location.
Divine experiences in kali temple far from city, but very beautiful, daily Bhandara, free lunch , powerful Kali Maa fulfill wishes of Devotees.

I visited the Jai Maa Daat Kaali Mandir on Saharanpur to Dehradun Road, near the tunnel, and it was a truly peaceful experience. This temple is a beautiful and holy place, where I felt a deep connection to my faith. The temple is very clean and well-managed, with a serene atmosphere that calms the mind and soul. The surroundings are also very peaceful, making it an ideal place for prayer and meditation. I felt blessed to have visited this temple and would highly recommend it to everyone seeking a spiritual experience.

Mata Daat Kali Temple is truly a divine place that holds a special significance in the heart of Dehradun. Nestled in the midst of lush greenery on the border of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh, this temple is not just a religious site but a symbol of the city's rich heritage. It's a place of deep spirituality and tradition, especially for those seeking blessings for new vehicles or the new start of life. Mata Daat Kali Temple is a true gem, and I highly recommend paying a visit to receive her blessings.

Very good place, visiting since my college time. Its a very good temple and well maintained. There would be mostly bhandara going on most of the times you would go here. You can also enjoy the tunnel while going here from Dehradun. Previously all buses to Roorkee used to used this tunnel now there is a separate tunnel so less rush on the temple road. jai Maaa dant kaali. Do visit and take the blessings from the Goddess kaali

Daat kali mandir is a very famous temple of Dehradun and is dedicated to Kali maa. It is located on Dehradun-Saharanpur road and is around 7.5 km from ISBT. It is believed that while construction of Dehradun-Saharanpur highway was going on, Kali maa came to dream of an engineer and who in turn built and gave idol of Kali to Mahant Gusain to establish temple. People in Dehradun or near by areas seek her blessings while buying new vehicle or when starting a new work.
Vineeta K — Google review
This place is too much crowded. Whenever someone buy any vehicle they use to bring it here. People have faith on this temple. You will find shops nearby to buy prashad. There are monkey so one should stay alert and careful for their belongings. The best time to visit is early morning because at that time the temple is less crowded. The temple is too big so it is visible from the main road. The temple is next to the tunnel. Once visiting this temple you will find peace.

Daat Kali temple is situated on the outsirt of dehradun city. Before reaching to ddn, u can perform worship to god and it is very popular temple among all doonites. Followers of Hindu god first visit here after buying new vehicle and it is the most common tradition. Now there is new bypass road cum tunnel is also made before temple because due to large crowd of devotees, there is a rush and lead to traffic jam.
Himanshu K — Google review
First place to visit after buying a vehicle even a cycle very renowned place. Before use to have traffic a lot, but no big vehicles running on this route thanks to government doing an awesome job on creating a secondary road for transportation. The place has a tunnel in the end which I like since my childhood a good experience overall Pro advice beware of beggars do not get encircled by them. Locals are helpful and panditji does gives tym for your pooja and archana Good facility for people to eat and kept neat and tidy at all times. If u want to serve the poor u can do it as well just submit some amount and call your relatives for a time out here peaceful place

Dehradun, a city with charming British-era architecture, is home to the renowned Indian Military Academy (IMA) and other attractions like the Forest Reserve Institute and Robbers Cave. The IMA, established in 1932, holds pride of place as it shapes young men into officers for the Indian Army. Aspiring individuals dream of joining this prestigious academy through various entry routes such as JCO's entry or CDS examination after completing their graduation degree.
Very imminent institution for training of young minds for serving the nation. Located in heart of hills and when one just visit this place, it gives feeling of patronism automatically. It is surrounded by green lushes and has been maintained pretty well by the government.

The mighty Indian Military Academy Dehradun where the future military leaders are moulded and trained. Presently visitors are not allowed without prior permission. The road in front has heavy traffic. You can park your car on the side of the road and have a view of the main gates and the legendary Chetwode Building through which the Gentlemen Cadets (GCs), after their Passing out Parade ( POP), march out as commissioned officers into the Indian Army. Look out for the POP dates ( once every 6 months in June and December) for the opportunity to visit the academy as a spectator to the Passing Out Parde celebrations.

The Tibetan Market, also known as Sarnath Buddha Temple, is a must-visit in Dehradun. This holy place is famous for its extravagant structure and serves as a holy school for the Tibetan religion. The temple attracts both national and international Buddhist followers who come to admire its beauty and experience the essence of the place.
Near to Parede Ground But food is not recommended for Hindus and Sikhs. As all the shops here offer Buffalo Meat in their menu. Even Veg options are not their And above of all they don't offer Pork. They only offer Buffalo and Chicken which is not good and supports only a specific religion

The Tibetan market used to be a trip in itself in the 90's era. It had its charm and you could get fashionable clothes and electronics at a reasonable price after haggling. Now most of the vendors are not even from Tibbet and the stuff they sell is average and can be bought elsewhere at a better price. The shopkeepers are busy on their phones and are not interested in customers.

It's like Mumbai's fashion Street with vendors selling winter clothing and shawls, etc. (Garments look like something sourced from Delhi's Chandni chowk market). I thought it will have traditional Tibetan, handmade artifacts. But no such thing was available here. Not wortg visiting if you're a tourist looking out for some unique traveling experience.

Here’s a more detailed and refined version of your review: Service: 11/10 – Exceptional service with attentive and friendly staff who ensure a smooth dining experience. Waiting Time: While there might be a short wait, it’s well-managed, and you can expect to be seated within 10-15 minutes at most. Ambience: 11/10 – Absolutely top-notch! The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and aesthetically pleasing, making it a perfect place to enjoy a meal. Food Experience: • Chicken Lasagne – A delightful combination of juicy, flavorful chicken with a generous amount of cheese, making every bite rich and satisfying. • Chicken Neapolitan Pizza – Perfectly baked with a deliciously crispy crust, topped with fresh ingredients that bring out an amazing and well-balanced taste. • Grilled Fish with Veggies in Garlic Butter Sauce – The standout dish of the night! Dessert: We ended the meal with a cup of hot chocolate, which was wonderfully aromatic, rich, and comforting—a perfect way to wrap up a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a fantastic ambiance!

A must visit restaurant in Dehradun. All the dishes we ordered were excellent. This was my second time at this restaurant and luckily didn’t have to wait this time. While the food, service and ambience were great there was just one little incident which left a bitter experience. While admiring the view outside we requested a waiter who was walking in front of us to click our group picture and he rudely responded I’m busy. Anyways barring that we had good food and a good time.

A Place in My Heart — Orchard, Dehradun Orchard has been my go-to spot in Dehradun for as long as I can remember. Since my first visit back in 2010, the food, the service, and most of all, the feelings have remained just the same. It’s surely rare to find a place that holds time still, but this place somehow does it. It carries a quiet comforting warm, homely vibe… like familiar memory that never fades. Every visit brings back a flood of memories from college days and reminds me why this place will always be special. I hope to return again soon… and relive it all, one bite at a time.

Our overall experience was ok. From the time we were seated it took atleast 10 mins to get attention if servers. We had someone walk us to the table but the hanging over could be better. The Himalayan trout is something to try. 4/5 The penne Alfredo had very less quantity of pasta and more quantity of sauce. 2/5 Spaghetti with meatballs was much better. It was flavourful. The portion of pasta here was also less 4/5 Chicken Thuppa was something to try. Really authentic. 5/5

Stopped in for a hot chocolate and ended up waiting forty minutes for the same, only to be served an overly sweetened drink that tasted like Hershey’s cocoa powder mixed into skimmed milk. The service was extremely slow, hot chocolate was practically undrinkable, and it took another fifteen minutes just to get the bill. Overall, the spot feels overhyped. The ambience is cosy. You’ll find much better Tibetan food in the Buddha Temple colony in Clement Town.

A nice place to enjoy the incoming evening. It is actually designed as an open air theater where you can sit on a balcony and watch the amazing view of clouds peeping over the hills. The service at Punjab restaurant was quite good, and the food tasted nice overall. While there were a few flies in the dining area, which was a bit off-putting, everything else made up for it. The restaurant provides a pleasant atmosphere where you can enjoy a good meal and spend a nice evening. It seems to be a well-known spot in the area, likely due to its convenient location right on the main road, making it easy to find and access. Despite the minor issue, I’d say it’s worth visiting for a decent dining experince

I had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant. While having lunch, I noticed a cockroach crawling on the table, which is completely unacceptable in terms of hygiene and cleanliness. This not only ruined the dining experience but also raised serious concerns about the restaurant’s maintenance and food safety standards. I have also attached a picture as proof. I hope the management takes this issue seriously and improves the hygiene immediately. The waiters were extremely rude and showed a negative attitude throughout our visit. One of them even told us to take their number and inform them in advance about what they should prepare for us – which is highly unprofessional and unacceptable. On top of that, the food was very poor in taste, and due to the late service, it was served cold, which made the experience even worse. Overall, both the service and food quality were far below expectations.

Really delighted with the experience here. Been here 3 times and the food taste has been constant and delicious. The best thing is they don't have only one particular speciality, you can literally order anything from the menu and it is going to be good. This time we ordered all the veg: Starters: French fries, Mushrooms, Sprin roll, Chilli Paneer dry Main course: Handi paneer, paneer lababdar, garlic naan, mix veg, daal, fried rice, manchurian. Everything was good. Ps. Paneer will taste usual everywhere.

Antique. The original Lhasa. Have been coming here since i was a kid. It has a nostalgic importance. Great home cooked vibes. Not really "aesthetic" according to standards, but the homely vibe and food is worth giving a shot. Easier to park the four wheelers near MDDA park and taking a short walk instead of taking the risk of climbing the often crowded and steep hill slope. Also has good jewellery options - bracelets, earrings etc.

I have been going there since 2016. The food is very delicious and authentic. They prepare fresh right after you order. Full marks on the taste. Service is also nice as it takes time to cook. The only thing which put me off was the behaviour of the lady owner. We had ordered 2 times a particular item and were served once. Prior to billing, I confirmed if that was all. She confirmed and while billing when I mentioned that an order wasn’t served she refused. I asked her again very politely she again refused very rudely and unprofessionally. Even her waiters weren’t aware. She is very sweet usually. But this time she was really ignorant and the way she behaved was very unprofessional and it did hurt me as I have been a regular there. I don’t want to discourage people from going there. You fellas enjoy and I am sure you will not have the experience that I had as she is very cheerful and nice most of the times.

I've been a customer here for the past 22 years. It used to be one of the best Tibetan restaurants. The menu has been revamped, and rates have increased significantly over the last few years. I have big hopes for this restaurant, but I'm wondering why it's not as crowded as it once was. To remain profitable, management must significantly reduce pricing. It was rather vacant when I was the only one there during peak hours.

And the food is very fresh and decorative. I like the background music they play. So whoever see my reviews I personally prefer you to check out one time and taste the food. I will sure you, you would not dissappointed by the service and food.If I get a chance I will definitely come again.

I recently had the opportunity to dine at the 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗳𝗲 located on Old Mussoorie Road, and overall, it was a delightful experience. Firstly, I ordered the 𝗦𝘄𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗽 🍜. It was a comforting and creamy soup with the sweetness from the corn kernels. The soup was well-balanced and provided a satisfying start to my dining experience. The 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗱𝗮🍏 was a refreshing and tangy beverage that provided a pleasant burst of flavor. It perfectly complemented the meal and added a unique twist to my dining experience. The 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗽𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗻 🌽 was undoubtedly the highlight of my appetizers. The corn kernels were perfectly crispy and seasoned with just the right amount of spices. It was a delightful snack that kept me coming back for more. Moving on to the main course, I eagerly awaited the 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗶 𝗩𝗲𝗴 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 🍛. While the other dishes arrived promptly, the Tandoori Veg Platter took a bit longer to come out of the kitchen. However, once it finally arrived, I was impressed with the presentation and the flavors. It featured succulent 𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐢𝐤𝐤𝐚 🍢, perfectly grilled and marinated with aromatic spices. The 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐬 🍄 were tender and infused with smoky flavors, while the 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐬 brought a delightful twist to the platter. The 𝐬𝐨𝐲𝐚 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐚𝐩 was a great addition, offering a meaty texture and an explosion of flavors. The combination of these elements made for a mouthwatering experience, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chef. ⭐𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒇𝒇 was courteous and attentive throughout my visit, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. ❤️ I would recommend visiting the Wild West Cafe for a taste of their flavorful dishes, and I'm looking forward to my next visit to try out more of their offerings.

Superb and mouthwatering food. Add on is the location of the restaurant. The service was very fast. The server was very polite and humble. He gave us very nice suggestions for the main course. The part which I didn't like was that there was no alcohol. They have a nice space for parking. At the end what makes us happy - Food, which was amazing. Thank you team.

Everything about this cafe is awesome. The way the staff treats you right from the point you get in to the point you walk out. The food is awesome & service is quite fast. The music just added to the perfect ambience. Best thing it was open on a sunday too. Would surely visit again.

A lovely ambiance and service. Person who took my order, helped me to get my customised meal. I customised my meal and they understood and made it so well. Even the chef came out to ask whether I liked the food or not. Good taste and reasonable price. Highly recommend. 👍

I will not give that one star because the coffee I ordered was not how it shoybe. So we ordered a latte and hot chocolate and a mocha but it was not how it should be, or I guess the person there doesn’t know how to make it. Anyway other than that food was good and service was okay. The ambience is nice, specially in the evening, we ordered the main course as well, it was tasty, the starters were fine. Will recommend if you are going there for food, order drinks on your own risk, or order a simple coffee.

North Indian restaurant
Aerodine Restaurant in Dehradun offers a unique dining experience with its aviation-themed decor that resembles an authentic aircraft hangar. The interior features a runway-like floor and cockpit-inspired seating, creating an immersive atmosphere for diners. The restaurant serves a diverse range of international cuisines, including burgers, pizza, Thai curry, and more.
The food and service were very good. They play good music as well. The place is very quiet and apt for both families and couples. It is quite cost effective as well.

Not good experience there , place is excellent but then food was pathetic & not worthy as per price . Not recommend this if you are coming with friends & family ! You will only pay higher amount & will get nothing

One of the kind dining experience in the State. Well crafted and designed. Ambience is good. Food tastes good. Fried Ice Cream was the best. Service is Fast. Must visit atleast once during Evening and Night. Colourful lights makes it amazing.

It is a nice restaurant. The food is really good here though little high-price. Visit during the night when they have live music in the garden. P.S.- The dining inside the plane concept is nice but I personally didn't find it appealing. The floor was shaky whenever the staff or customers were walking across the aisle.

2023 monsoon a very scary season to go out had left us bored staying indoor. We were craving to go out and enjoy some snacks. As we saw weather was kinder, we decided to search for good restaurants in Dehradun. The pics, the reviews sold Aerodine. When we reached there, rain started pouring heavily. Well, manager greeted us smilingly. The ambience of empty restaurant was very welcoming. As we got comfortable, we decided to share a lemon soup to start. It was more a lemon-vegetable soup not so tangy as I had expected but was actually delicious. Soya sauce could be added to make it an Indo-Chinese! We were there to have snacks so we agreed to share a mixed platter. Surprisingly pineapple was grilled to perfection and was spicy-sweet. The quantity filled our belly. A mocktail Jurassic something was very pleasing to eye. I should have realised that it will be very sweet drink since it is made from kiwi, pineapple juices topped with lemon. Next time I may ask for a spicy drink. Dinner made us too full and we reluctantly asked for tea. Manager was kind to order us because it was not on menu. Yummy digestive tea after eating appetisers mostly with paneer 😋. Chef Naveen came specially to say hi and we already know what to order next time. Thank you chef for a wonderful meal.

A unique place to have great food, different than any other restaurant in Dehradun. Great food. Prices are a little on costly side but it is value for money. The experience is really amazing and the service is also great. Only drawback is the lack of seating and services in the waiting area. From my personal experience, a visit is definitely recommend.
