Mandla in 1 day

If you only have 1 day to spend in Mandla, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Mandla appeals to travelers for its scenic setting on a loop of the Narmada River, dotted with ghats and historic temples. The town is known as a gateway to Kanha National Park, one of India’s best-known tiger reserves and a major wildlife destination in Madhya Pradesh. Visitors can explore remnants of Mandla Fort and nearby viewpoints and river stretches like Sahastradhara. The area also offers a window into the traditions of local tribal communities, particularly the Gond people.
With favorites like Nehru park, Mandla Fort, and Dada Dhaniram Samadhi, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Shrinath cafe and Air 51 so you can get the best taste of Mandla while you’re here. Very nice natural place, less crowded, mostly clean , peaceful. The solitude after sunset is as impressive as that of the Ghats of Rishikesh. There are 2 bridges on Narmada connecting Mandla and Maharajpur of approx. 800m. The 500m long water fall is very rare to see outside Mandla. The Black rocks are good spots for photography.

One of the best parts of the visit is the peaceful boating experience at the Narmada River. The calm water, gentle breeze, and scenic surroundings make it incredibly soothing. It’s a perfect spot to relax, unwind, and spend quality time with family. Overall, a great place for kids to play and for adults to enjoy a serene break by the river. Highly recommended!

Best Food Cafe by far in Mandla. Their chef is brilliant and so is the owner. They have really managed this cafe so well. Most of the cuisines here are made as actually they are supposed to be. I personally loved their Uttapam, Manchurian fried rice, Cheese corn pizza and Lemon juice. ❤️ Must try if you want to hangout with your friends or if you are a couple. A couple friendly ambience is made on the top floor with some good music. ✌️

Because so many boys and girls were there and they were beating each other shouting etc. Those ppl had made 3 tables dirty with the cake and the owner was nowhere. Food was not so good.
