Flea & Street Markets
Located at the southern end of Long Beach near the Intercontinental Hotel, Phu Quoc Night Market is a must-visit spot on the island. While it's not very large, you can explore the entire area in about an hour. The market mainly offers local street food and numerous restaurants selling fresh seafood. If you're a fan of freshly grilled seafood straight off a boat, this market is perfect for you.
I really loved my experience at this market. I took the free Vinbus 17 and got off a block away. Fruits were cheaper here. I tried avocado ice cream here for the first time and it was the best ice cream I ever had. Highly recommend this for anyone visiting Phu Quoc. I only made it here once but next time I will try to come often to try all the different foods.

Phu Quoc night market is an attractive destination that you should not miss when traveling to the pearl island. Here you can "immerse" yourself in a culinary paradise, comfortably shop and eat in the bustling atmosphere. The market is a merger of Dinh Cau Night Market and the old Bach Dang Night Market, the most bustling and crowded entertainment, dining and shopping spot. The market lights up at 6pm every day (although many stalls are still open from 3pm), but from 8am onwards is the busiest time. If you arrive late at the night market and are worried about what time Phu Quoc night market opens, don't worry, the market doesn't close until midnight, around 11am, 12pm, depending on the number of tourists. If you go with a large group, you should buy a little of each dish and share it so you can enjoy all the delicious dishes.Food safety and hygiene at the market is always a concern for those with stomach problems, so remember to choose restaurants that look clean and tidy. Not always true but usually the restaurant that is crowded is good, you just go there to eat and it's ok. Before buying an item or eating something, remember to ask the seller for the price first, to avoid getting ripped off after eating or choosing to buy. At Phu Quoc night market as well as many markets in tourist destinations, there are often poor quality, fake, counterfeit goods… remember to choose carefully.

Phu Quoc's Biggest Night Market - Worth a Visit But Not Essential This bustling night market offers a typical yet enjoyable experience. While packed with seafood restaurants, avoid dishes displayed on ice as they're likely less fresh. Look for the unique water coconuts - harder to open but prized for their meat rather than just the juice. Several souvenir shops sell wooden items with optional name customization. A tempting chestnut stall fills the air with its aroma, though I didn't try it. While it's a solid night market experience, it doesn't stand out significantly from others in Southeast Asia. Worth visiting if you're nearby, but not a must-see if you've experienced similar markets elsewhere.
Calvin W — Google review
Definitely must go. Lots of food stalls, restaurants, and souvenirs. They pretty much sell all the same thing. Just a matter of who is willing to bargain for a sale. Outside of the market are plenty of restaurants, bars, massage parlors, and much shopping.
Pamela — Google review
If you’re in Phu Quoc, you have to check out this night market! It’s always lively and packed with locals and tourists every evening. There are endless food stalls serving super fresh seafood, tropical fruits, and tasty street snacks. You can also find souvenirs, handmade crafts, and clothes at good prices. The atmosphere is energetic but chill — perfect for a relaxed evening stroll. Definitely one of the must-visit spots on the island!
Louie — Google review
A wide variety of goods, including great pearls at excellent prices. The food is amazing, with delicious pancakes and a lot of seafood. There’s something for everyone. The massages are top-notch, with many well-executed options. The atmosphere is fantastic, capturing the essence of a lively night market. Highly recommended!
D B — Google review
The night market features numerous shops offering a wide variety of food items, fruits, crafts, souvenirs, clothing, and more. The food selection includes an impressive range of meats and seafood. The prices at the shops were comparatively higher, especially at the crafts and souvenirs shops.
Abin A — Google review
A must-visit spot in Phu Quoc! The night market is full of energy, colors, and delicious smells. You’ll find everything from fresh seafood to souvenirs and local snacks. I recommend trying the coconut ice cream — super refreshing in the hot weather. Prices are fair if you compare and ask nicely. Best time to go is after 7 PM when it gets lively but not too crowded yet. It’s not just for shopping — the whole vibe is fun. Music, lights, people… it feels like a festival every night. I visited both day and night, but night is where the real magic happens.

The Night Market Concept in Phu Quoc is a vibrant and bustling scene, offering a wide array of Vietnamese delicacies and local specialties. Located on Bach Dang street, this market is a convenient stop for those with limited time to explore. The market boasts an assortment of street foods and seafood, creating an enticing aroma that draws visitors in. While it may cater to tourists with slightly higher prices, the lively atmosphere and diverse offerings make it worth experiencing.
A bright and colourful market with lots of different food options and souvenirs. They have a lot of delicious seafood which is cooked fresh. Try to avoid getting a taxi from outside the market as they can charge you whatever they like. We ordered a grab taxi and walked a bit further away to meet up with them because it'd be nearly impossible to meet up at the entrance.

Phu Quoc Night Market is a must-visit! From the sizzling street food stalls to the colorful souvenirs, the entire market is buzzing with life. I have tried fresh fruit smoothies, and local desserts — everything was delicious and freshly made. The vibe is fun, friendly, and full of flavor. A perfect evening experience on the island!

A must-visit while you’re on Phú Quốc! This night market is full of energy, colors, and amazing smells. You’ll find tons of souvenirs, local products, and especially a huge variety of street food – from fresh seafood to sweet treats, tropical fruits, nuts, and freshly squeezed juices. Prices are great, and in some stalls, you can even try a bit of bargaining. It’s the perfect place to grab a bite, do some shopping, and soak in the lively local atmosphere. Whether you’re hungry or just browsing, this market’s got something for everyone.

Wonderful experience of people shopping in the streets of Phu Quoc which is open the entire Night. From different kinds of delicious food to precious pearl jewellery, you get anything and everything here. Loaded with a lot of people visiting this place from different parts of the world, you have to walk long lanes to see its beauty. The best part is, you wont be tired at all as you can take their massages to keep you relaxed and soothing Must visit

Some street food , rolled ice creams and lots of souvenirs. But I felt like the prices were high compared to Ben thanh market of ho chi minh city. So if you’re planning to go to the city , better to buy magnets and other souvenirs from there.

Great night market, easy to reach. Some nice restaurants with fresh seafood. Have to watch the ice cream makers

It’s a nice place to spend time, buy local products, souvenirs. Enjoyed fresh ice creams and fruit shakes here. Don’t miss coconut water and ice cream. Only issue I faced was the smell from seafood and fish, which is annoying for us vegetarians.

Sunset Beach Bar & Restaurant is situated within the Sunset Sanato Resort & Villas, offering a delightful dining experience in a romantic setting known for its stunning sunset views. The restaurant is renowned for its seafood BBQ buffet featuring an array of fresh local seafood expertly prepared by talented chefs to five-star standards. With a cozy atmosphere and top-notch service, it's an ideal spot to unwind by the beach with a diverse range of drinks and fresh seafood options.
As soon as you arrive at the beach, the atmosphere sets amazing. Reservations are essential; I recommend getting to the restaurant by 5 PM to secure a good table, as latecomers might miss out. Thankfully, the sunset that day was breathtaking, and we even enjoyed the magic hour. The food at the restaurant is delicious.

I went there at sunset to sit on the beach with a couple of fresh beer crudets. It was good, the waiters took the order and brought the drinks quickly, there was nice music playing, it was a very calm atmosphere. They have a very interesting bar menu, but I did not try the cocktails, as I am not a favorite of these drinks.

Thank you for saving our night ! We’ve been to a horrible place before and got scammed by fake beautiful photo and in last minute we’ve found this place and I feel so glad that we did. An amazing warm place with live music and a nice atmosphere. The staff is nice and friendly and the food is delicious. Perfect night, thank you a lot 🙏🏼

Wonderful experience and great location for the sunset. I’m not really sure if all the reserved tables were used at sunset. They should let guest who turn up early be the first to sit in those locations. I suspect they hold the tables on the chance bigger groups turn up. We enjoyed the live music and cocktail offerings.
James B — Google review
Nice bar by the beach, spent new year's eve there, best beach party around after checking all nearby places, and great sunset anyway. However, outside specific occasions, it's overly loud, pretty expensive for what it is, food selection could be improved, the sand beach area is narrow and doesn't leave any space to lay down and even less put a towel. Good for a single party visit, not so much for a longer stay.

Enjoyed the evening and food. Staff are fabulous. They have a fire show around 10 pm every night!

The Ham Ninh Market is a popular local seafood market in the town of Ham Ninh on Phu Quoc Island. The market is well-stocked with fresh crabs, fish, vegetables and fruits. Crab fried rice is a must-try dish here.
Don't miss this place. The seafood was cheaper than night market at all. Moreover, you possibly might eat and enjoy the seafood on a float.
Dennis N — Google review
Not worth the trip. The bridge to the floating restaurants is broken. There’s no way of getting there. The smell is of garbage is really bad in this area. It’s very dirty. The whole area was quite disappointing. We ended up going to a restaurant further away from this.

Seafood restaurant
Crab House is a popular seafood restaurant located in Duong Dong, Phu Quoc Island. It offers a great selection of seafood dishes and has received positive reviews for its delicious food and excellent service. The restaurant's prime location near the beach makes it an ideal spot to enjoy a meal while taking in the beautiful surroundings. With its inviting atmosphere and delectable cuisine, Crab House is a must-visit dining destination for seafood enthusiasts visiting the area.
Before visiting the restaurant, I checked out some reviews on Google and TripAdvisor. There were plenty of good ones, but also a few not-so-great comments. Still, when I saw some of the photos, I decided to give it a try because I really love seafood dishes covered in rich sauces—and honestly, I think I made the right choice. The food was delicious! The prices were a little higher compared to other restaurants in the area, but the portions were generous and the quality was excellent. They served bread along with the seafood combo, which also came with lots of veggies. I ordered some steamed rice on the side to enjoy with their special sauce, and it paired so well with everything. I left feeling very full and satisfied. Afterwards, I grabbed some pastries from the coffee counter downstairs to take home since I couldn’t eat any more at the table. The service was also wonderful—friendly and professional. The staff kept the atmosphere calm and private, without any unnecessary noise, and everything was done quickly and smoothly. I was really happy with the experience. Maybe some of the negative reviews I read earlier were just unlucky experiences, or perhaps the style of the restaurant simply didn’t match those guests’ tastes. But for me, I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try—not only for the food, but also for the lovely little souvenirs you can pick up here.
Việt N — Google review
The open, airy space blends modern style with refreshing greenery beautifully. Comfortable seating and soft lighting make you feel relaxed the moment you enter. The Crab House sauce is truly a highlight – rich, unforgettable flavor from the first bite. An ideal spot to enjoy a delicious meal in a cozy and pleasant setting.
Jescica M — Google review
Best place to have dinner in my opinion!!! If you’re looking for fresh seafood with one of the best House Sauce you could ever be served with, Crab House will definitely satisfy that. Super memorable for us, and a huge shout out to Lea and Vy for being great servers. Thank you for such a memorable visit, and we really hope to come back before we go home.
Mikaella N — Google review
Food was okay. Seafood might not be of the best quality in town, but they have their unique sauce that we love. So if you want something different, try this! Service is top notch. Kudos to Phuc for his very tentative and great serving to our table.
Do N — Google review
Second visit!! It is the best dining place in Phu Quoc. We went to a lot of seafood restaurants but it is the best and this is the second visit. We want to visit this place again and that’ll be one of the main reason to come back to Phu Quoc!! Highly recommend this place!!!
Yeajin L — Google review
The seafood boil was fresh and flavorful, the fried crab was crispy and rich, and the spring rolls were light and refreshing. A perfect mix of texture and taste!
Yilun S — Google review
If we’re in Phu Quoc and haven’t been to Crab House yet, are we even really living—or just quietly existing without garlic butter? Walking into this place feels like getting a warm hug from Poseidon himself. The vibe screams “we take our seafood seriously, but we’ll still laugh at your plastic bib.” And trust us—we needed the bib. The King Crab showed up drenched in a sauce so divine, we briefly considered proposing. That Crab House Sauce doesn’t whisper flavor. It belts power ballads. With harmonies. We came in hungry and left spiritually fulfilled… and lightly buttered. The Cajun crawfish had us questioning our loyalty to shrimp. The garlic butter shrimp had us questioning everything else. Sure, prices lean upscale—but honestly, it felt like Poseidon himself plated our meal. Worth every shiny dong. If crustaceans had a celebrity icon, Crab House would be the Beyoncé of crab joints. We came. We cracked. We conquered. And we’d do it again without hesitation.
Dr. ( — Google review
We started with fresh, flavorful oysters a perfect way to open the meal. The main highlight was the fresh seafood paired with Crabhouse’s signature sauce, beautifully complemented by warm bread. Every bite was rich and satisfying. The staff were friendly and attentive, the space was stylish and comfortable, complete with air-con for a truly relaxing dining experience.

Nestled in the charming Ham Ninh Fishing Village of Phu Quoc, Hạnh Nhung Restaurant is a delightful culinary gem that captures the essence of coastal dining. Went off peak hours, got a table with the sea view. Picked live crab and oysters.. added on grill shrimp, herring salad and a fried rice.. at crazy affordable price and so tasty.. thumbs up for the great service tooo … will be back

Went on a Monday noon, price was not the cheapest, also not the most expensive. They had a price list in Vietnamese language on a board next to seafood tank, so I used Google translate to get a sense of the prices. They wouldn't offer any discount despite me bargaining, but the seafood are rather tasty and super fresh. Prawn mantis (mid size) =800k /kg Prawn mantis (Large size)=1,000k/kg Venus clams = 200k/kg Manila clams =250k/kg Fish=690k/kg. Only ordered 1 meat dish since this is a seafood place, roasted chicken stir fry with sweet sauce, 200k half chic, was too dry for my liking. Avoid garlic fried rice (large =150k) at all cost, rice is super dry, obviously stale rice cooked for days. The steamed white rice tasted ok. The vegetable (80k) stir fry with garlic was very fresh and tasty. All the seafood tasted good, except for meat and garlic rice. Softdrinks cost 20K/per bottle I will come again!

Hanh Nhung Restaurant is quite spacious and airy, offering both indoor and outdoor seating areas. I'd recommend sitting outside as it's close to the beach and offers a wide view. The food here is generally good, with fresh seafood, although the prices for alcohol and dishes are a bit high compared to the average - it's understandable to some extent given the touristy location. The staff are numerous and enthusiastic, but there are quite a few street vendors coming in to promote their goods. Overall, it's a place worth trying out for dining.
Ryan — Google review
3.75. Only go with an experienced local. To make sure you get what you want and to pick the seafood. This place was highly recommended and I'm not really a seafood type of guy. Dishes were hit and miss. Some dishes were really nice, others were a good time to try new things. The buttered oysters and the steamed grouper were the highlights for me. Service levels were acceptable, always room for improvement. Would recommend you arrive before the dinner rush, so arrive before 5pm. It's laid back dining so plan around 3 hours for a small group.

Pretty pricey for food but the service was great ofcos come with a price of good service but that's totally ok as we should be paying for the excellent service. The fired rice was delicious but the steam fish was over cooked. Prawn was great. Driver brought us her and I guess is more for tourist.

Nice view, ocean view & breeze. Good fresh sea food. I did not like the gỏi cá trích - not as expected. I ordered lime / lemon juice to fix it to taste. Our young waiter was very friendly and helpful.

The Spice House Restaurant at Cassia Cottage

Restaurant
The Spice House Restaurant at Cassia Cottage is a charming dining spot located within the renowned resort on Phu Quoc island. With its beachfront setting, it offers a perfect place to savor seafood baskets and cocktails while soaking in the stunning sunset views and gentle sea breeze. While prices may be higher due to its association with Cassia Cottage, guests can indulge in dishes made from fresh ingredients sourced from the resort's own farm, along with exceptional fine-dining services.
The most delicious breakfast, dinner- was too full for lunch -EVER. Each bite was popping with intricate, fresh tastes. I am a vegetarian and gluten free and there were plenty of options for me to enjoy. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need and more. The service was absolutely outstanding. The staff would do anything to make us happy. This is a must do if you're in Pho Quoc! Make an effort to go even if you're not a guest at Cassia Cottage!
Lauren B — Google review
I began my day in Phu Quoc with breakfast at The Spice House—what a breath of fresh air. Tucked inside the serene Cassia Cottage resort, it feels peaceful even when things are busy. The open-air setup lets in soft sea breezes, palm tree shadows, and golden light—just right for a slow morning. The menu is a delight for those wanting something healthful without sacrificing flavor. Their fresh garden rolls filled with crisp herbs, mint, fragrant coriander and a light dipping sauce were perfect: bright, clean, and not heavy. I also tried one of their smoothie bowls—rich with tropical fruit, a sprinkle of seeds, and cooling coconut milk. It was nourishing in the way that fills you up gently, not with that overly sweet punch that leaves you craving something else. What impressed me the most was how they balance local Vietnamese produce (think herbs, fresh seafood, spices) with mindful cooking practise: no MSG, no undesirable additives, real ingredients. Service was kind and attentive—staff asked about dietary preferences without me having to start the conversation, a superb plus for staff Quoc!!! Portion sizes were generous (but not wasteful), so I felt very good leaving the table. Ambience and a view of the beach in the distance added to the calm—just what you want if you’re focused on wellness and travel. If I come back to Phu Quoc, The Spice House will be one of my first stops for breakfast again. Highly recommended for anyone wanting that healthy, feel-good start to their day.

From juicy watermelon and feta salad to flavour-packed handmade tortilla tacos and fall-off-the-bone ribs – every bite was a hit! The ingredients were super fresh, the flavours well balanced, and the presentation was just beautiful. We started with the watermelon-feta salad, which was light, refreshing, and the perfect opener. The tacos were bursting with vibrant veg and spices, and the ribs were incredibly tender and full of rich flavour. Sam, one of the team members, was absolutely brilliant – friendly, attentive, and always smiling. He truly added to the experience, and the rest of the staff were just as warm and welcoming. We dined outside by the pool, which added a lovely atmosphere to the evening – relaxed, elegant, and beautifully set up under the stars. A hidden gem that delivers both on taste and vibes. Highly recommended for food lovers looking for something special!

Amazing ambiance with great food. They have a vegetarian menu which was perfect for us. Our kids enjoyed the meals as well. If you are in Phu Quoc, this should be a must visit place for you.
Akshat J — Google review
I stayed at Cassia Cottage resort for a few weeks (that’s another 5 star review!) The variety of the menu, from east to west, and the ability to handle such a wide palette without losing it is impressive. The food is wholesome with a genuine elegance, deliciously tasty and healthy - not by third party anonymous organic certificate labels but by best effort, genuine intention and some in-house farming. I loved this restaurant so much, and highly unusual to me, I found no drive to explore every other top restaurant in the area as I always do when coming to a new place. I did check a few and there are nice ones but my favourite remained the hotel spice restaurant. Cassia became like that girlfriend who's such a joy to be with you lose interest in all the others - a first for me in hotels! That said, I did love to sneak down on a 5 minute beach walk south to La Veranda for a little serene lunch when the weather invited. The staff are fantastic. They got a great thing going and a wonderful attitude to each other and the guests. Many clearly feel safe enough to be themselves (getting rare these days!) which translates well into the homey and casual ambience. Its lovely to see some staff are proud of the place as well. It really is a worthy place deserving of a proud staff. During my weeks here I didn’t have a single bad or even slightly “off” experience with any of them. Its easy to have every staff on an up-note first 6 months of a business startup, so with 25 years going, Cassias achievement in good vibes and can-do attitude is stellar - as well as extraordinary unusual. Im not naive saying this - of course there’s the normal human frictions and drama between the lines, but thats unavoidable being human now, and the way they keep it together is what is unusual and impressive. It all ends up in a harmonic wonderful balance. Real. Honest. Alive! And the manager, Luisa, nailing the balance of professional and casual with all sophisticated brilliance one can ask for. It was such a beautiful encounter I consider Luisa a friend for life. Thank you all for a wonderful stay and a sense of home in paradise !

Bún Kèn Út Lượm is a popular street vendor in Duong Dong Town, Phu Quoc Island, known for its specialty dish, Bun Ken. This unique noodle dish features fried ground fish, sprouts, chilies, papaya salad, and herbs topped with a flavorful fish broth. Priced at 30,000 VND, the dish stands out for its rich coconut milk-based broth with a spicy kick from chili.
What a great way to discover a regional dish - Bun Ken. Delicious seafoody coconut broth (reminded me of laksa)topped with noodles, herbs, and plenty of minced spiced fish. Absolutely delicious and a steal at 30k.

It's vermicelli with papaya, soyascheuten, coconut milk, and fish. It's a fresh and light dish for this hot weather. The combination of flavors is perfectly balanced. This dish started more than 30 years ago. A real original place that starts with. For just 30.000 dong! Everyone who are in this island should try this. You can rarely find this meal on other city.

Bun Ken is definitely a dish to check out while ur here!!! (its really only in this region as its one of their specialties here - not many other areas of vietnam makes it!) these guys also do Bun Nham, a Ha Tien specialty this place is a pretty well known spot for Bun Ken. and it's well known for good reasons! its delicious!!!! seating is all on low tables and stools, situated outdoors but undercover a very local style dining place but definitely worth a stop by! and at only 30k a bowl! what a steal!

Best place for breakfast (or lunch if you prefer) on the whole island! They serve local specialty with coconut curry and sea food for a long time. Mix everything before you eat it and you will have the taste of a tropical island in one bowl :) It all comes fast, served from lovely hosts and for a very good price. you also get a decent coffee here. Try it. I loved it so much.

Interesting and tasty variant of Bun. Coconut curry flavoured ground fish with Bun noodles is a fresh burst of flavour at a very reasonable price. This place is only open 6 am to noon. We were fortunate showing up as they were shutting down at about 12:20. They ladies smilingly agreed to feed us at that time. Very good value for money at 30,000 vnd for a bowl. For two of us with drinks (OJ and a coconut based drink) was 85,000 vnd. It's not fancy at that price but the bun was terrific. Will definitely return next time in Phu Quoc.

What can I day about this place, AMAZING!!! the two dishes there serve are incredible, so tasty and fresh. Not sure if it's a couple who run the place but both are so so friendly. My wife and I absolutely loved it, we loved it so much we're going to go back for breakfast again. They're only open fro. 0600-1200 so get down there early you'll not be disappointed!!!

Day 2

Proximity is everything
For day 2, we bundled attractions like Ngoc Hien Pearl Farm and Ham Ninh fishing town and other places within a close range, so that the time it takes to travel between all of them is less than one hour. Combined with the average time people spend there, your day should take about 6 hours.

Ngoc Hien Pearl Farm, situated near Long Beach in Phu Quoc, is renowned for its use of Japanese technology to cultivate pearl oysters. A visit to this farm offers a unique and inspiring experience as visitors are guided through the history of the farm and educated on identifying fake pearls. While photography inside is restricted, the farm showcases a wide array of pearl jewelry, including necklaces, bracelets, and earrings at varying price points.
We visited this place during our visit round the Doung Dong town. This place has a very interesting and stunning artefacts museum. Those love antics and history. There is a show how they produce pearls and types of corals.
Reveendran V — Google review
Visited this pearl farm on our vacation in Phu Quoc. Nice place for shopping pearls. There’s a museum, where you can see some artifacts from sea base. They also give information on how the pearls are farmed. You can even witness a pearl being taken out of the shell. There are artworks prepared from the corals. Very impressive work by the artists. 🤩 The prices for pearl jewelry are similar to the one you will get at Phu Quoc airport, but limited collection at the airport (maybe due to space constraints). The prices are definitely less compared to other countries, for a real pearl, so you can pamper yourself with an elegant piece. ☺️

Pearl extraction demonstration at the start was very overwhelming, self guided tour through the Clam workshop was amazing. The shop up the top was fantastic. Didn't feel harassed to purchase.
Sam W — Google review
Top notch service! I came to replace my pearl pendant I lost due to not securing the chain… lesson learned. I couldn’t find the exact match but found a bow necklace with white pearl. It didn’t have the color I wanted but one of the service lady, võ thị bảo lộc helped me to get it altered. They have a pearl station for your specific needs. Change color or size? They can do it! The workers are attentive and friendly. Love the pink! When I was looking at the coral fossil bracelets, the kind gentlemen told me about the pearl tour. Very informative on the founder, history, and Pearl. Would definitely stop by again :) Quick tip on how to tell if it’s a real pearl; gently rub 2 pearls together should leave a powdery residue.

We explored this pearl shop during our visit. It has a beautiful museum with stunning artifacts about love and history, as well as a demonstration of pearl production and coral types. Special Thank you to the “Team Leader”
Rashid A — Google review
To experience fossils and pearls this place is a good start. But they may push you to purchase even if you try to wander and look at price, they may follow you around. Our experience there was kind of average. At first we got the tour and we were shown pearl extraction from oyster which was amazing to experience, and even the guide was polite with us, showing us around patiently answering our questions. Later when we were brought to the showroom and a representative lady was told to help us, we gave our requirements, got some options, chose what we liked. But we saw a defect, so asked her if we can get that same design in fresh piece to which she said yes, and took us to billing counter, after bringing the fresh piece with her. There after swiping our card, later she showed us the price, to which we got shocked as it was 1k INR more than what we had been told. When we demanded the reason, she showed us that the fresh piece same design had slightly bigger pearl. We were upset because she didn't even ask us this before, or let us know before swiping our card. If she would have told us prior, we would have denied to pay more, or could have chosen another design. We asked her if she can get the pearls replaced so we can take the fresh piece with smaller size pearls, to which she denied customisation. We argued a bit with her that we want to choose another design, to which she reluctantly agreed, and so we did choose another design. She refunded the margin money to us by cash then and made another new bill for us. This was a wierd sales experience for us, where the price wasn't made clear at all to the customer, and in fact kept hidden till purchase was already done. She probably thought we may not fight and just pay the extra 1k and leave with that piece.

I drove 20mins there to find that it's not a arm but more a showroom. very disappointed though they introduce how pearl is made. lots of products to sell from pearl to handbags and shell made products. good to have a look if you have nothing to do or if you love pearl. if not, can skip and spend the time to relax at resort

Ham Ninh fishing town is situated on the eastern side of the island, with a backdrop of mountains and a stunning ocean view. The prominent Ham Ninh mountain, reaching 300 meters high, adds to the picturesque scenery with its dark green hue against the blue sky and sea. The village is known for its fishing industry, where freshly caught fish are readily available at local restaurants. Visitors can enjoy seafood dishes at reasonable prices while taking in the tranquil atmosphere.
This fishing village surprised me with its rustic charm. Walking along the long pier and tasting fresh crab is unforgettable. The sunset view is amazing. I’d tell my friends this is the best place for a glimpse of local life and seafood in Phu Quoc.
Hien N — Google review
Hàm Ninh Fishing Town (Làng chài Hàm Ninh) was a bit of a letdown for us. There's really nothing special about it, and it feels more like a place for locals than tourists. The area was quite dirty, and we found it lacking in charm compared to other places on the island. If you're looking for a better experience, I’d recommend heading to the main night market, which offers much nicer things to try. Another downside here was how difficult it was to find a taxi back - be prepared for a bit of a struggle if you visit.
Ihar B — Google review
It's just local village. If you're hoping to walk on the long bridge, located on the coast, you will be disappointed because it's broken at the beginning. There is not much to see in general. The restaaurants on the water is fun attraction though.
Vilma G — Google review
We've been here a couple of weeks back after a long and wobbly ride towards the so-called Starfish beach. Forget about the beach, the people apparently are fishing them out the sea and dropping them on the sand to dry, a shame. But the people from this place seem to be honest about their fishing profession. The fish you order from the menu is freshly made and ready within 10-30 minutes. The price is not steep for the actual plate you are receiving. There's even an "Instagram" photo spot with a chair and a little tree. (If that's your cup of tea) The host was friendly and her husband was the cook and fisherman I think.

Original, rustic fishing village. Fresh seafood. Choose your own live prawns, lobsters, fish etc. Terrific young staff very helpful. Very good value too.
MuzzDog — Google review
I found this village particularly dirty and the fish&seafood restaurants overpriced and not very pretty. However towards the end of our trip we found a decent place to eat, local food, which we really enjoyed. What was great about this place is that they served food early in the morning, so we could have some nice breakfast there. Sadly this place doesn’t have their eatery listed on Google, but I will add a picture of it.

It was okay to go and check out but you can tell that it is slack now and there was not much going on, so still worth going to see and plenty of fish options and seafood as well to choose from.

Visited this town on my 1st day arrival for late lunch at Hạnh Nhung Restaurant, 14 minutes drive from the airport , so many seafood restaurant here , price cater for tourist (we were 4 ladies , cost usd35 per person for fresh seafood lunch ) and not local Phu Quốc folks ! Even fruits we bought from the street vendor cost usd25 (Rambutan,Longan,Apple custard , mangosteen )

Nước mắm Hồng Đức 1 (Fish Sauce Factory) is a fascinating local tradition that's definitely worth a visit. The process of making fish sauce is very interesting, and the staff are helpful in explaining it, even using Google Translate if needed. Visitors have the opportunity to sample two variations of the sauce, which may pleasantly surprise you.
Got to test the fish sauce and dried anchovies. The owner is very knowledgeable. Learned all about the process of how fish sauce are made. Very nice and attractive place to visit in Phu Quoc. Lots of parking space.
Thi N — Google review
I mean this is a given that fish sauce is very pungent, but just come in very prepared for the pungent smells in the fermenting room. They gave us a nice little history lesson and small tour and the employees greeted us very quickly upon arrival. Other than that expect to spend 15 minutes tops here. Not really much to do or see. Big pro. USFDA approved fish sauce !
Tiffany N — Google review
Was a great local tradition- worth a stop! The process is very interesting, one of the attendants used google translate to explain how it all worked. After we got to try the two variations they make here, it was much better then I thought:) It smells a bit so if that’s the kind of thing that puts you off be ready… I didn’t mind. I mean it’s a fish sauce factory, what do you think it’s going to smell like…

Waterfalls
Suoi Tranh Waterfall is one of the best waterfalls in Phu Quoc, located 7km from Duong Dong. Nestled within the forest near the Ham Ninh Mountains, it offers a refreshing retreat with its rock pools and cascading falls. The entrance area is adorned with flowers and quirky animal statues, making for great photo opportunities. As you ascend the stone path to the waterfall, you'll encounter more unique animal sculptures.
Beautiful botanic garden to walk through. There are huts with the most incredible wood carvings inside. It's amazing and quite unexpected. The path to the waterfall is about 3/4 of a kilometer and paved with uneven stones. During the dry season, the river will be dry but it is still very beautiful to walk in the woods. A great place to stroll and appropriate for kids. Clean bathrooms as well.
Noah L — Google review
Though it was not a good time to visit the waterfall (May 1), the surroundings were nice. The rocky path alongside the dried up river bed was in the jungle, and the view was superb. There were a few small pools with spring or waterfall water, which was very refreshing, so I recommend bringing swimsuits.
Vilma G — Google review
A large area with a natural garden with a river and waterfall. The waterfall is beautiful, but it is a very rocky path and with jungle. The greenish plants are awesome. Thus is one of the popular places must visit by nature lovers and young generation.
Reveendran V — Google review
A lovely natural park about 9–10 km from Dương Đông town. The entrance ticket is only 30,000 VND, and the area is beautifully maintained with shady forest paths and peaceful surroundings. The stone trekking trail to the main waterfall takes about 15–20 minutes, passing mossy rocks, small streams, and wooden pavilions along the way. The waterfalls are refreshing and suitable for bathing, especially during the rainy season (May–September). Around the entrance, there are wooden-roofed traditional houses and impressive hand-carved furniture and sculptures that add a cultural touch to the park. Overall, Suối Tranh Waterfall is a perfect half-day getaway for anyone who loves nature, light trekking, and quiet green scenery away from the busy beaches.
Julia K — Google review
Waterfall is located in a beautiful botanical park. This place is about 20 minutes long hike though tbe forest and by a stone road. Waterfall is really there, people saying it’s scam are wrong. Just come when the rainy season is starting (we were there in the middle of April). Also will recommend whole garden, there are many beautiful views. But there are for sure no live animals, just don’t expect it - it’s not a safari.
Julia P — Google review
Wow, I love nature, plants, flowers and trees. So I was just at the right place. Little hiking path with a waterfall. Really nice . They have some sort of bonsai’s but in much bigger pots ! They also have rest area with cantina selling water, beer and sodas. We hiked while it was about 30 degrees Celsius and it was humid as hell but loved it anyway.
Paul G — Google review
At this time of the year, a really beautiful and strong waterfall. The hike up the stream is well maintained and no trash is laying around thanks to the many bin‘s along the way. The swim ag the top was lovely and refreshing! Parking lot available. The park and the garden are really beautiful, green and clean. Definitely worth a visit!!
F. S — Google review
Accessible by the free Vinbus service (Bus route 20), it is around a 10mins short walk after alighting from the bus stop (KDL Suoi Tranh). Entrance fee is 30K per adult and 20K per child as of Oct 2025. The safari displays are eccentric yet traditional. The walk in to the waterfall is a gentle upward slope. Low to moderate level of fitness will get you there. A guide is not needed. Good sturdy footwear is recommended for the uneven stone pathway, although you’ll find tourists and foreigners wearing flip flops. Do mind your steps as the stone pathway is naturally covered with moss which can be quite slippery. Taking a dip to cool off in the stream after the walk is wonderful. Take note in the dry season there might not be much waterfall. There are many bins along the path so you can bring in snacks and drinks, including alcohol, and even have a picnic. Besides the drink shop onsite, there is a big clean toilet with basic shower facilities if you need.

Bodies of Water
Nestled in the heart of Phu Quoc, Da Ban Spring, also known as Excoriation on Google Maps, offers a serene setting for an afternoon picnic and a refreshing swim amidst lush natural surroundings. While it is a popular spot among locals, some visitors have noted occasional littering and noise pollution from karaoke machines. However, recent reviews suggest that efforts have been made to address these issues. The area features a picturesque jungle path leading to clear pools of water suitable for swimming.
A great place for those who love the element of water. A waterfall in the jungle, several levels, you can spend a couple of happy hours swimming in clean cool water

In general the place is so amazing and beautiful. Full of nature around, it's just the season we went there was summer and as expected it could dry even a deep water area. Looking forward to see this waterfalls in the future, I enjoyed walking on its dry stream anyway.
Remy B — Google review
One of the two waterfalls that we have been recommended to go by locals, together with Suoi Tranh. We went here at the end of December, during the dry season. Unfortunately the water stream was very small, you could barely bath, but the place remains a good hiking option and escape from the town. We had lunch there, the food was good and the staff friendly.

I was amazed by the huge flat rocks and peaceful water flowing through the forest. It’s great for picnics and nature walks. Swimming in the natural pools is refreshing. I’d recommend my friends to come here for a quiet nature escape.
Hien N — Google review
After reading some of the previous reviews on here I was expecting a floating trash dump. But it was a really nice walk up the river through a jungle path. Not much trash to speak of, I imagine the locals have done a clean up. There was still water flowing but not enough for the waterfall to show itself. There was some really nice deep pools in the rocks and clear water to swim in. Locals having picnics and all taking their trash home with them. We didn't pay for motorbike parking or an entry fee. We'll worth the drive and trek.
Matt D — Google review
As we stay for seven days at the hotel next door (Maison Du), I take walks by the river nearly every morning. It's a place of great beauty. It's the rainy season, and the roar of the white waters is spectacular. The walking path runs for quite a distance, is mostly more than a metre wide, narrowing in parts and branching off to the water's edge, and, sadly, is strewn with trash discarded by picnickers. In fact, at some places where they congregate, the air is putrid from rotting food, and the plastic containers and wrappers are breeding ground for mosquitoes. (I believe the mosquito nuisance and hazard can be considerably reduced if littering stops.) On several mornings, I have collected 10kg of trash. A kiosk provides refreshment and hires out a sound system which I imagine is used by holiday makers for karaoke. Beside the resort, a restaurant hires out picnicking spaces for VND100,000. The owners keep the space clean although they can set an example or admonish customers to bring home their trash. I notice that at the furthest waterfall upstream (with a sign in Vietnamese saying Start of Waterfall), a concrete rubbish bin is provided, which is filled to the brim. (It's usually not a good practice to provide bins.) According to Google Map, the walking trail runs for about 2.5km, but it's more likely that the undergrowth has covered the path after 1km. That's a pity, as this is a really beautiful part of the forest - and so accessible - to explore. Minus the sight of rubbish, and with a longer walking trail, I will rate this attraction six stars

Nhà hàng Biển Xanh is located at To 9, Tinh lo 47, Rach Ham, Ham Ninh, Phu Quoc, Kien Giang. It offers a stunning sea view and fresh seafood. The restaurant provides a unique dining experience with free hammocks for relaxation and traditional dishes on the menu. Guests can choose their seafood from aquariums and enjoy it under green coconut trees while watching the sunset.
Fresh seafood, great seats with sea view. There are also free hammock for you to take a nap. Cheaper traditional dishes are in the menu, for fresh seafood, go to the aquariums to choose and ask waitress for price. Toilets are acceptable, guy's cubicles are interesting, filled with ice 🧊 giving you that clean feel, not sure if it absorb odor and if the restaurant is doing it on a regular basis but just based on my time there, it's definitely refreshing psychologically 🙂 will definitely come back.

Nhà hàng Biển Xanh has a lovely view, making it a pleasant spot for dining. However, the food did not live up to the high prices. It was quite overpriced for what was essentially average fare with nothing particularly special or memorable. While the setting is nice, the value for money just wasn’t there. If you’re looking for great food, you might want to explore other options.

Nothing too special here, just a good spot to get some shade and a drink. The views of the ocean are nice. The main reason we came here was to use the bathrooms, which are squatting style toilets. Me and my partner ordered the seafood fried rice and two milk coffees, the food was average. The rice contained mainly squid and only 2 shrimp. We won't be returning here, I would suggest that you just make the motorbike trip back to the Western side of Phu Quoc, the food there is fresher and better priced.

Nestled in a picturesque garden illuminated by candlelight, Pakka Indian Restaurant invites you on an enchanting culinary adventure. From succulent tikka cooked in a classic tandoor oven to rich red and yellow curries paired with homemade naan, every dish is crafted with precision and bursting with flavor.
We arrived in Phu Quoc today and my wife was craving for Indian food. After seeing many reviews, we decided to go to Pakka. This Indian restaurant is based in salinda resort. We were not disappointed at all. The correct choice for us. The ambiance is nice, the staff are welcoming, knowledgeable, polite and courteous. We ordered tandoori chicken, paneer tikka, onion bhaji for starters. Main course was palak paneer, laccha porotha and garlic nan.Potions were decent size and well presented.Did not have to wait long to be served. We will be back. Highly recommend.

Went there for the first time ! As an expat was not expecting much . Was alone in the restaurant initially . Saw the chef in the restaurant and requested a thali from one person and the responce was no we don’t do half portions . which was strange - thali is always served for 1 in India . Then settled for a biryalni of lamb and for Drinks asked for a lassi the most Basic of Indian drinks but the staff were not sure and needed to check !! The Biryani was not really a biryani its was a whipped up concoction from the chef with no flavour and seasoning . The kulcha was dry didn’t have enough gheee - You need a dental insurance to eat this for sure. The local restaurants seem to offer more value for money better hospitality and generous as an Indian restaurant should be . The pickle serves as in the picture is dry and just 1 miserly piece I mean it comes from a bottle and not home made . Understand Phu Quoc has challenges but this will be my last time here definitely not recommended as other local India restaurants are better in quality

Beautifully plated North Indian thali—flavourful mutton curry with tender meat and rich spices, paired with fluffy basmati rice. The paneer butter masala was creamy and well-balanced, perfect with the soft, charred naan. Sides like papadam, pickles, and fresh salad added texture and contrast. A satisfying, authentic meal in both taste and presentation.

One of the best Indian restaurants I've ever visited. The cozy atmosphere with the lights is not too bright, the layout of tables and chairs and items shows the adjustment and investment. The dish is adjusted the side flavor suitable for diners from many countries. Staff always express hospitality, professionalism and friendly with all customers, though very busy. Try one experience if you have the opportunity to come to Phu Quoc.

Incredible experience here Food absolutely delicious, shared a platter which was so tasty, wide variety of options but just enough- not too much to choose from! Will cook according to your ‘spice preference’ Staff attentive, friendly, welcoming The chef came out at the end of our meal to see how we found it; he was lovely and friendly and is extremely talented Could not fault the whole experience it was absolutely incredible Forgot to take more photos the good was too good to capture!!

Had a phenomenal dinner here tonight. The food was outstanding as was the service (I forgot to take a note of the name of the young man that took our order and served us but he was so lovely, welcoming and provided excellent service - i hope the management can work out who it was and commend him!). The food is something else - very fresh, hot and plentiful. Some of the best Indian food I have had in a good long while. I had a delicious g&t and there were other great sounding cocktails as well as a decent wine list. Highly recommend visiting here if you like Indian food!

The Best Indian Food Quality on Phu Quoc! We spent a week at Salinda Resort and dined numerous times at Pakka Indian. This restaurant is, without a doubt, the highest quality Indian food we found on the island, even after trying several other highly-rated spots in Phu Quoc! The ambience is lovely, and the cleanliness is impeccable. A huge part of this excellence is Chef Mr. Liladhar. His cooking is phenomenal—he has a unique way of adding flavors that elevate every dish. Furthermore, his dedication shows as he personally visits the table after serving to ensure we were completely satisfied with the food. Equally brilliant are the service staff, especially Mr. Khoi and Ms. Huong. Their service was exceptional; they were friendly, always alert, and made sure we received everything we wanted instantly. Pakka Indian is a must-visit for anyone craving top-tier food and world-class service. Highly, highly recommended!

Rory's Beach Bar, situated at Long Beach in Phu Quoc, is a renowned beach bar owned by two Australians. The bar offers a stunning ocean view and an open-air ambiance. It is known for its wide selection of drinks including Western cocktails, wine, and cuisine. During the high season, visitors can enjoy live music, foosball games, and bonfires right on the beach.
Travelled 40 minutes by motorbike in the dark and windy roads at night just to try the food at this place that I heard was really good. I'm happy to say that it was worth the journey. Food was great and all the staff were so friendly! But I would recommend people to go there during the day as the roads there are really scary at night. Would highly recommend their fish and chips and their creamy butter prawns (add on a side of garlic bread for extra oomph!)

I think rationing is the better word to use. 190k for a green curry (that was very average and nothing like a Thai style green curry), and little shavings of chicken was just a dissatisfying order. It’s a lovely job what they have done here and super cool bar with a big open space. Actually kind of located I’d say in an awesome remote area which is also cool. But the food we had was extremely average and I’d say most local expats would agree also.

Great hospitality. Everyone was very kind. Best smoothie we had on the island. Small beachfront pool. No real entrance to the actual ocean but no need as the seaside on this side of the island isnt very "beachy" so the pool is a good alternative

Definitely our highlight of Phu Quoc, Rory and his wife are the most welcoming and friendly hosts! The sea water pool is amazing and we were able to learn a lot of the island‘s history when chatting with Rory. Unfortunately we didn’t have the time to play minigolf but the course looks really nice. We definitely recommend this place and if we came back on the island, we would stay here for sure. Paradise on earth!

Great place to sit down and relax, have a drink, grab a bite and maybe play some mini golf or pool ! Great view on the ocean with good music. My stop there was just perfect and I really enjoyed my afternoon. Too bad I only went once and won’t have the chance to go again. This being said, I caught myself dreaming of retiring and live in a place like this ! Cheers

This bar has everything, including darts, pool, mini golf and so on! You can spend the whole day here. The service is the best on the island. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I wish to be back again! Oh yeah… and the seafood pizza is AMAZING!

We had such a special day at Rory’s in Phú Quốc—a place that truly feels like home, thanks to Rory and his amazing wife, Yoon. They welcomed us with such warmth and generosity that we instantly felt like part of the family. Our kids spent hours swimming in the sea water pool, spotting starfish, and playing mini golf in a beautiful jungle setting. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation for the whole family. We enjoyed delicious food, refreshing drinks, and great conversation with Rory and Yoon. You can tell how much love and care they’ve poured into creating this unique, laid-back paradise. If you’re visiting Phú Quốc, don’t miss this gem it’s more than just a beach bar, it’s an experience you’ll remember.

Travelled 30mins by bike from west coast Phu Quoc and this place didn’t disappoint at all. The vibe and atmosphere of this place is just amazing. Arrived around 8.30pm. The ride from the westcoast to here at night can be abit tricky if you’re not that confident on a bike due to some parts of roads with no street light and just darkness. But trust me its well worth it. Ordered their barramundi and also the creamy garlic prawns with a side of baguette. Food was superb and so delicious we ordered the garlic prawns for a second round. Drinks were good too. Will definitely come over again on our next visit to this island.

Food seasoning manufacturer
Huynh Khoa Fish Sauce Factory offers a fascinating glimpse into the traditional production of fish sauce in Vietnam. Located in Phu Quoc, this historic plant showcases centuries-old techniques, from fermentation to bottling. As the largest distillery of Nuoc Mam Hung Thanh, it provides an immersive experience where visitors can witness the laborious process and learn about the art of making fish sauce. The family-run factory warmly welcomes guests, offering informative tours and tasting samples of their traditional products.
You can see the fermentation barrels with a board briefly explaining how fish sauce is made. You can look inside the barrels as well. Then there's a little shop where you can taste different grades of fish sauce. Overall, a very pleasant experience with staff with very good English. Just make sure your airline allows fish sauce bottles! Otherwise, the visit is free of charge, but you can leave a little tip.

It’s working factory, and the guide was knowledgeable about the fish sauce making process. There’s a little shop where you can buy various grades of fish sauce.

Really quick and easy stop to see large barrels of fish sauce and learn about the process. The person who showed us around was super nice and spoke english 🙂. We bought a few sauces in the shop and met the sweetest doggies running around! Came back a second day to buy more small jars as gifts and play with the dogs. Employees/owners showed us some spots to visit on the island, much appreciated!

Restaurant
Nhà Xưa 68, a highly recommended establishment by Troc, offers delicious food in a south-western style. Despite language barriers, the friendly staff did their best to assist customers and even called a taxi for one patron. The squid hotpot was particularly enjoyable and came with noodles, rice, boiled eggs, and vegetables. Free tasty ice tea was also provided.
This was the first restaurant I’ve been to in the world, where you can pay extra to be in an air conditioned room. Only 68K for your entire group, I didn’t mind at all. It was not offered initially to us so make sure you ask for it. It’s more comfortable as you will be sitting in regular size chairs instead of the low chairs and it won’t be as hot. The food here is traditional and authentic. Everything we tried was delicious. Some dishes were really salty but goes well with lots of rice. Some dishes you can’t find as street food and we were happy to try the pumpkin flowers and taro soup. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommended.

Good food if you're looking for a local Vietnamese steamboat! I really like the authenticity and the flavour, plus, the service is very good, and they don't overcharge us as a traveller. Prices were clearly shown, and the food portion is big too. We ordered squid steamboat and the food is very yummy!

The restaurant has a nostalgic decor reminiscent of northern Vietnam during the subsidized era. The food is decent and fairly priced for Phu Quoc standards. When I was taking guests on a tour, we stopped by to eat here together. It got a bit warm while we were there, and there was even a power outage during our meal! 😅 Overall, it’s a great spot for those looking for a unique, experiential dining experience.
Chiến V — Google review
A cute spot for homecooked Vietnamese dishes and rice where everything is cooked over charcoal. A bit of a darling on the Internet, the place does deliver in terms s of genuine service was a smile and food that is delicious and won't cost a bomb. Food was not too bad although they are known for their hotpot, which we didn't order. We had rice (very delicious and aromatic) + and omelette (it's a rather "clean" tasting omelette so no Thai style umami woke fried flavours here + stir-fried pumpkin flowers w garlic + claypot fish (a little overcooked but the flavours were all there). Those pumpkin flowers are a must-try. Crunchy with a hint of sweetness, you won't find these at all restaurants. Love it! Thank you!

Amazing food in a very “back in the day” setting. The dishes were so simple yet incredibly tasty. The fried pork belly with deep fried finely shredded lemongrass and ginger was so good, we ordered a second serve. Highly recommended.

The best experience of countryside rice dish experience on the Island, it reminds me of my grandmother's house. The service is so nice and caring! The dished, I've ordered are all a "madeleine de Proust" to me. Their canh chua ca bop is delicious! Even their plain rice is fragrant and flavourful! I'd definetely recommend this place and eager to come again!

Restaurant
Thuận Kiều 2 - Nhà Bè Hải Sản Hàm Ninh is a popular seafood restaurant in Phu Quoc, known for its delicious and fresh seafood dishes. The restaurant offers a variety of mouthwatering options such as grilled fish, lobster porridge, flower crabs, sea snail salad with mangoes, and more. Visitors can enjoy the scenic ocean view while savoring their meals.
Enjoyed the food here. Ordered grilled fish, urchin, boiled vege with sauce (sounds plain but in fact very yummy!), cheese baked oysters, and crab fried rice. All were good and price was reasonable. They have live seafood at the entrance, those are quite expensive. But if you just order from the menu the price is decent.
Cat F — Google review
The seafood was good, first time we taste this one (don’t remember the name). The service wasn’t good at all, a waitress vomited in front of the tables and she took a her time to clean herself just before she served the meals. Maybe she should go at the back office to clean but not in front of us
Diego N — Google review
The seafood was not fresh. I tried the crabs but was disappointed—they were tasteless. I ordered grilled squid, but the staff brought something else. When I asked, they insisted it was grilled squid, but it actually came with tamarind sauce. The squids were also very small. The restaurant was quiet, and there was a lot of garbage around the area. I will never come back.
Ngoc L — Google review
Undeniably Fresh Seafood — But CASH ONLY & Sanitation Concerns The seafood here is exceptional — clams, lobster, fish, and mantis shrimp are incredibly fresh and full of umami, cooked perfectly. However, CRITICAL NOTE: THEY ARE CASH ONLY. This is especially inconvenient given the remote location, so arrive prepared. Beyond payment, the experience was impacted by sanitation issues: a small centipede crawled into my sauce during the meal, and staff disposed of it (and likely other waste) by tossing it into the ocean off the deck. At low tide, this attracts flies near the shore, and we noticed more tabletop insects than at comparable outdoor spots. While the food quality is outstanding, improvements in waste disposal, pest control, and payment options would elevate this significantly. Come for the fresh catch, but bring cash and expect rustic conditions.
Calvin W — Google review
We had seafood there on a rainy day. It's easy to find the place but the bus we hired refused to drive us in. We had to walk about 500m to the restaurant. The restaurant had a nice view to the ocean. Seafood was fresh. The most famous dish of the village was flower crabs. They made sweet sour salad from sea snails and mangoes which was very fresh and tasty. Grilled sea snail was crunchy and delicious. Lobster was super cheesy and fresh, too. We also ate lobster porridge which smelled really good and sweet.

There weren’t too many options. The owner kept pushing us to order more expensive dishes, and order more dishes than we needed to. We came as a couple, and they gave us a big bowl of rice, enough for 5 people and overcharged us for it. I asked the owner if there was any stir fried water celery, and she told me it has to be served with a kind of clams. Later on I asked one of the younger staff, and managed to order the dish without the clams. The garlic fried shrimp was very good, but everything else was kinda meh so we did not finish them. The restaurant seems clean and staff except for the owners/ managers were polite.

Dương Đông Night Market is a lively and bustling destination located in the center of Duong Dong town on Phu Quoc Island. The market is known for its vibrant atmosphere, colorful stalls, and enticing aromas that fill the air. Visitors can immerse themselves in the daily life of local people while exploring the many trading activities and shopping options available.
This night market is famous for its various street foods, particularly seafood. However, it's better to ask the price before ordering something. It is a place where you can savor local cuisine.

A lot of food options! A lot of inexpensive stuff around. Just I dont like the typical vietnamese vendor who are so grumpy and one didnt even allow me to take video of just the fruit 🙄 not as crowded as other night markets I‘ve been to in SEA. There are shops here selling surplus from famous brands like crocs, northface etc. I bought a pair of crocs for 300k dong. If there are not so many people they can give it as low as 250k dong! Around 10usd

Not a great market. 90% of stalls were seafood, peanuts, ice cream, crocs or pearls. Food we had was average and more expensive than outside market area.
Tam C — Google review
A great night market with lots of food choices, mostly focused on seafood. It is hectic and crowded and some of the larger seating restaurants are just okay with food being average. Make sure you check the menus at the front of the restaurant before committing.
Russell S — Google review
Just not my type of market. Felt a little hesitant to try the seafood. Just played safe and had some standard dishes, but it wasn’t that good. As a traveller and had been to many night markets in the world. This is one of the worst I’ve been.
Nancy C — Google review
Stayed nearby just to visit the market. It’s overrated and overpriced. The same stuff is sold in most of the stalls in the market. So if you visit 1 staff no need to visit the rest. The seafood restaurants are terrible and not fresh seafood, be careful. You don’t want to get sick. I don’t recommend and would not come back
Merle D — Google review
You can feel the natural, local Vietnamese night market. There are lots of peanut stores, and they give sample peanuts. A lot of peanuts are on your hand after wandering the market.

Had a walk in the night market with many repeated stores, such as seafood, peanut, ice-cream, and massage. Not the typical bangkok night market that you will expect in this night market. Quite disappointing but if you’re nearby, maybe you can still take a scroll as there’s nothing much in the area.

The amount of sauce is enough to warm the bowl of vermicelli. Other vermicelli restaurants often have little sauce so the vermicelli is cold. Besides, soy milk is very fragrant. Drink without sugar to enjoy the fullest flavor. I often have breakfast here on Sundays.

The Cao Dai Temple of Phu Quoc, operating since 2008, is a popular pilgrimage site for Buddhists worldwide. Its unique design harmoniously blends Western and Eastern philosophies, attracting attention from international journalists. Located on Nguyen Trai Street in Duong Dong town, the temple is open from 7am to 6pm with worship ceremonies at 6am and 0pm. Admission is free, but visitors are required to remove their shoes and dress modestly.
Very nice temple, has couple floors with very tiny stairs. The decoration was amazing and the people were very friendly. The only bad thing is that when you enter it feels like you are going through someones living room.

It is a temple of Cao Dai religion. The temple is good looking from the outside, but nearly empty inside. Cannot compare to the Tay Ninh Cao Dai temple. Vao Dai is a kind of mixture of buddhism, catholic, taoism, confucianism etc., which is originated from Tay Ninh, near Saigon.

The guide for our 3 island tour was very friendly, helpful and full of enthusiasm. She made our day wonderful with huge smile every moment. She made us feel so comfortable that we didn’t get to know when the day ended❤️ A person with good heart ❤️ guide Katie

The service was amazing! We had a full day car with Mr. Ty and visited many places like the Pepper Farm, Pearl Farm, and Sunset Town. He was always smiling, in a good mood, and laughing with us, which made the trip even nicer. Even though there was a language barrier, communication was very easy with Google Translate. Katie was incredible—she kept checking on us with video calls, making sure we were comfortable, and even suggested a coffee shop while waiting. She also knew halal places, which was very helpful for us. The price was excellent for what we received. Highly recommended!

My tour guide is Katie. Katie is a great speaker she makes things interesting and keeps you listening at all the amazing things she has to say. Katie is also very organized as well. She is very good at keeping organized and is quite flexible with the schedule. Katie is a kind person. She also has a very funny personality which also makes her even more great tour guide, I would be lost if she didn’t guide us.

We had a great day and have been taken care very well. The snorkeling was awesome and the boatsmen always double checked with us, before e.g. going to the next place. Katie and team were great as well, we got a lot of valuable information about the island and potential other trips. Happy to book ahain, next time!

We booked with another company but got cancelled last minute, so we booked this one last minute. Didn’t expect much from this trip, but the reception is amazing. Katie provided exceptional support throughout the trip so communication was not a problem even though the boat driver doesn’t speak English. Absolutely recommend the service attitude

Seafood restaurant
Ra Khoi Restaurant is a popular dining spot in Duong Dong, Phu Quoc Island. Located in the heart of the town, it offers a variety of seafood dishes and has garnered positive reviews from travelers. The restaurant is part of the vibrant culinary scene in Duong Dong, which features a mix of local eateries and international dining options. Visitors to this area can explore the diverse range of flavors and cuisines while enjoying the picturesque surroundings.
Amazing and fresh seafood at Ra khoi, This spot has a nice mix of locals and tourists, and the food is fresh and delicious. We ordered the seafood fried rice, which had a great crisp from being perfectly charred in the wok. The calamari was very fresh, the oysters were flavorful, and the morning glory—always a favorite in Vietnam—did not disappoint. Service was a little on the slower side, but still attentive and friendly. A big plus is the secure scooter parking available with someone watching over it. Overall, a great dining experience with quality food and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Paul N — Google review
Disappointing food, over rated stars and suspect no truth in the reviews. Cockles became bloody scallops in their menu and these are totally not fresh at all. Fortunately the staff are attentive enough to take the cockles back and cancel the orders. Kudos for the honesty. Then the oyster omelette have no oysters at all. While the sweet n sour pork rib are tough to chew. If you have to go then order the simplest stuff that cannot go wrong. Forget about seafood choices as you will be sorely disappointed
Clement S — Google review
This restaurant has a relaxed and spacious setting, perfect for a casual meal with family or a group of friends. The atmosphere is comfortable with fans but could be improved if there was AC. Service was excellent – the staff were friendly and attentive, and our food arrived quickly. We ordered a selection of dishes to share, including the Canh Chua with Fish, Stir Fry Greens, and Lemongrass Pipis. The flavour profiles were generally well-balanced, though a little on the lighter side. This could easily adjusted with salt, pepper or soy sauce condiments on the table. The fish in the Canh Chua was slightly overcooked. The Stir Fry Greens, on the other hand, were cooked perfectly with a nice bite. My personal favourite dish was the Lemongrass Pipis. The flavour combination was well balanced and fragrant. The menu is extensive and can be overwhelming to read and pick. I recommend looking at pictures of the dishes online beforehand to ensure you know what you're ordering and will be happy with your choices. Overall enjoyable meal, value for money.

One of my go-to places on the island and will keep coming back here any next time I’m back to the island. Fresh seafoods as always, exceptional hygiene for a local Vietnamese restaurant (especially the toilets), very friendly and enthusiastic staffs, fast service, good atmosphere. The only comment to improve your foods is that for those garlic fried dishes or butter garlic fried dishes should you put less flour because the flour will make the food taste. Thats all, everything else there is almost perfect for me
Nguyễn A — Google review
Good lunch, we were taken here by our brother who works locally. Seafood is fresh and plentiful, prices mid-range. We thoroughly enjoyed Flower crabs, ca trinh salad and mushroom Tram soup with seafood, which apparently is a local delicacy. Oyster was big but not impressed. Lots of seating options, fast service, clean toilets. We had 1.8mil VND among 5 of us. Would recommend.
Loran A — Google review
The staff were friendly and always served us promptly with our orders. There was a large TV in the main hall, but the atmosphere was pleasant and not too loud, and the food was also quite good. There were perhaps a few too many ice cubes in the orange juice, but other than that, we enjoyed our visit and can recommend this restaurant.

2 stars for the staff serving us because i think he's nice and polite. But can't give more star for the food. The pizza base isn't really pizza, i can't tell. The topping was fine though. The cabonara was way too hard and i can't say it's carbonara comparing to what i really had in Hanoi. I'd rather say it's bolognese or something else. The only thing i like here is the milk shake and that's it.
Linh N — Google review
Can i give 10 stars?!? My resort room service stops at 9pm (way too early) and I didn't feel like walking on the main road after 10 pm looking for an open restaurant. Found pizza taxi and contacted them via facebook messenger. They responded immediately and only needed my resort name and room number. Pizza was delivered within 30 minutes. I ordered the pepperoni and margherita pizza. Both were delicious. Thin crust and good flavor. Price was very reasonable and there were no charges for delivery. Awesome food and service.

Sim Wine Production Facility Bay Gao, located on Phu Quoc Island, is known for producing Sim Wine or Rose Myrtle Wine with a 7.5% alcohol content. This unique wine is made from the local fruit of the Rose Myrtle Tree and has a flowery scent and woody taste. The wine is popular among locals, especially when paired with seafood dishes. It is believed to have healing properties, such as reducing joint pains, relieving digestive problems, and combating fatigue.
Went on vacation to Phu Quoc. I love wine and was suprised to find a local store. I tasted the wine, the liquor and somthing else. I bought two bottles of wine because my baggage was already full. I definitiv would've bought more. The wine has a uniqu taste and was absolutly delicous

I bought the 14% fig wine and poured the entire 750 ml bottle into two 350 ml empty water bottles with nothing leftover in the bottle. If you give only 700 ml per wine bottle, you should state so instead of misinforming your customers.

Even though it was open, No one was in the store. After waiting for 10 minutes, the owner finally came over without even greeting us. We asked about the different types of alcohol available and whether we could taste some before buying them as gifts. After some hesitation, she let us try one wine—without any explanation—and then carried on as if we weren’t there, tidying up merchandise and staring at us. Overall, she was very unpleasant and unprofessional. If you want to learn more about Vietnamese wines, I strongly recommend going elsewhere.

Cảng Bãi Vòng - Phu Quoc Express Port is a fantastic gateway for travelers looking to explore the stunning beauty of Phu Quoc Island. If you're starting your journey from Rach Gia, hopping on a speedboat to Bai Vong port is an excellent choice. Once you arrive, you can easily rent a motorbike or grab a taxi for the short 4km ride to nearby attractions.
Nice experience by Ferry from Rach gia to phu quoc island

* No seating spot for waiting - instruction on ticket asks to arrive 30 minutes. * large crowd of mid size trucks and transport carriage for packages. No space for passengers. In summary... at port: no area for waiting passenger. No bathroom.
Vuot B — Google review
There is no seating available and as soon as you exit a ferry, you are surrounded by taxi drivers, which don't want to use a meter and expect an extremely high price for the cab ride.
Anton W — Google review
This small pier, where the fast boats from Rach Gia arrive, isn’t very big and is often packed with people coming and going from Phu Quoc Island. Unfortunately, it looks run-down and neglected, with no proper waiting areas or places to store your belongings. There are lots of motorbikes and vehicles moving around, so you really have to be careful not to get hit. As soon as you exit the pier, you’re immediately surrounded by car and motorbike taxi drivers trying to push their services—often at inflated prices. Try not to make eye contact with the drivers, or they'll come right up to you, peering at your phone screen and asking where you're going in a desperate way. If you're a foreigner like me, I strongly recommend using ride-hailing apps like 'Grab' or 'Be' to avoid being scammed or overcharged. Other than that, this pier is really just a point of arrival or departure—it's best to move on quickly. Departing from the island is a bit smoother, as no one aggressively approaches you, and you can walk peacefully to your fast boat. I hope this information is helpful for fellow travelers!

We thought we could use Grab but the service is blocked at the pier. A bunch of taxi drivers will be waiting and fighting for your business at high rates.

Hanh Nhung Luxury Restaurant in Phu Quoc is a top choice for tourists, offering a spacious and airy setting with a public area, reception room, private parking, and dedicated service staff. The restaurant serves five-star standard cuisine at reasonable prices and can accommodate up to a hundred guests at once. Located in Duong Dong town, it's an ideal spot for families and travel groups. Guests praise the hospitality of the staff and manager while highlighting its great seafood offerings.
The group meal arranged by the tour guide is still delicious, clean and hygienic, with warm service. The restaurant is large and comfortable. I recommend it!👍🏻

I was delighted with this restaurant, the food was perfectly seasoned, the portions just right and they have a really large and varied selection. The icing on the cake is the wall by the sinks in the toilet, great idea!

Very good Bun Quay. A subtle broth that highlights the seafood and fish patty which are cooked excellently. The portion size is large, it's good value for money. There's a condiment / seasoning bar so you can custom make your own dipping sauces.

Very good spot central Phu Quoc. We had the sashimi crab which was amazing! A must try here in Phu Quoc

Service is excellent. It’s pricey restaurants. It is a spacious place.

Please, don’t come here, they might overcharge you. It's a good idea to ask about prices before ordering. I would never come back here!

Came in for late lunch, very quiet. Massive restaurant with private A/C rooms. Ordered Ca kho, water crest soup, fish cake ( Phu Quoc) style, steam rice and 2 soda chanh. Bill came to a bit of over 700k. Quite pricey for simple Vietnamese dishes but we did sit in there private rooms with A/C. The dishes were well portioned and tasty.

This was during the holidays, so it was very busy. Absolutely bad service, totally understaffed. Waited 90 minutes didn't get all our drinks and they provided us with the wrong buffet. We gave up once we saw 4 tour groups turn up. If you know your going to be busy, get more staff on. If you know you don't have enough staff, maybe don't put out so many tables. Very, very disappointed.

Seafood restaurant
When you find yourself in Phu Quoc, make sure to stop by Bè hải sản Tình Biển 2, a delightful seafood haven nestled in the charming Ham Ninh area. This restaurant is renowned for its warm hospitality and an impressive array of fresh seafood dishes that will tantalize your taste buds. From succulent lobster bathed in garlic butter to Hong Kong-style steamed grouper and perfectly grilled squid sprinkled with chili salt, there's something for every seafood enthusiast.
This place was the best places I’ve eaten in Phu Quoc. Don’t let the how the place looks at first glance deter you. You get to sit at a small patio with a nice view and cooling breeze. The food was amazing. All the fish was very fresh and cooked to perfection. Sometimes it may be on the rare side, but I’d assume that’s how the cuisine would be in a culture that is very rooted in fishing and seafood. We had a lot of food including other shrimps, clams, fish but I wasn’t able to take any photos purely because of how much I was distracted by eating because the food was that good. I would most definitely recommend the blue swimmer crab if you’re looking for a safe option that also tastes amazing because they use fresh black peppers from the farms nearby. My favourite dish had to be the ốc hương, as it was cooked very uniquely; salted egg yolk sauce. It was creamy and complimented the snails well. Snails aren’t for everyone though, but if you’re adventurous and don’t mind a savoury dish on the sweeter side, give this dish a try!

Hidden place by the river, very much off the beaten path. Good food for ok prices. Keep in mind that it might be hard to get a cab from there.

Excellent restaurants with many seafood. I must write review to make this remarkable. View is excellent. Price is resonable. I would say is cheap.

Nice seafood restaurant on a pier, where they have set up props to take photos. Seafood price isn't cheap compared to the what the central side offers. But, it's the atmosphere that draws in people. They seem to have more selection than other adjacent restaurants.

We were recommended this restaurant by a local and it didn’t disappoint- we ate mantis shrimps, 2 types of clams - one with peanuts and spring onions which were delicious and steamed crab. The women serving were so sweet and kind. the location was beautiful out in the sea

The front of the restaurant is where your select your Sea food, per killo is easy and clear, the price is reading and the balance near. The price is praticly the same all vietnamese restaurant The food is good, but the restaurant is very standard, I buy langousta at 82$ in is serve at the plastic dish. But on general is good, but I never return, for the same price is possible find the nice restaurant, clean with Air con and the real dish

Didn't expect much but I have really enjoyed the meal. Everything was fresh and tasty. Even though the price was a bit high, it was affordable since the quality was good. The restroom was so local that some people might have difficulty using it.
