5 stars for the AMAZING sunset you can watch from there. This is not to miss. You absolutely must catch the Sunset from here. It's one of the best I have ever seen. Warning ⚠️! Be very very careful of the monkeys there. They are aggressive and will go for your Phones, spectacles and all the lose items. Saw them snatch a poor fellows mobile from his hand while he was clicking pictures. Aside from that it is a wonderful place and you can watch Kecak dance if you want to as well. We skipped it as it was too crowded. You can buy the tickets after reaching there, no meed to book in advance. Cost of entry is 50000 IDR per person. Aggressive monkey alert. You know this is a major problem if the guides have to remind guests not to wear jewelry, be alert at all times, and are patrolling the area to shoo monkeys away. In a span of 30min, we witnessed monkeys stealing hats off visitors heads, water bottles stolen, handphones lifted from open bags and swarming towards people holding plastic bags. Also watch out for monkeys coming up the cliff walls. I would not visit this place because spectacles might get snatched and smashed. The kecak dance queues are incredibly long and guests wait a long time in the heat to get a choice of seats. It felt like a tourist trap, so if you're interested in jist the sunset views, feel free to skip the dance and enjoy the temple views. Unfortunately, it was a very cloudy day when we visited so we couldn't get a good sunset shot. The entire grounds could be covered in less than 30min so plan your trip well for sunset if that's your only goal. It is 50k pax for temple only visit (no dance) and we paid in cash. Temple requires legs to be covered so long sashes are freely available at the entrance for those who are not wearing long pants/shorts. I would suggest visiting their website for a map of the grounds.

Great place to explore dharmic side of Bali. But access to worship area is totally restricted that was a bit disappointing for practicing Hindu like me. Still a good place to visit. And don’t miss Kechak dance there.

Amazing views from the cliff to admire Indian Ocean. Every evening there’s Kecak dance show you can watch during sunset (6pm and 7pm). Be aware of the monkeys - they like to mess up and steal your goods including sunglasses and phones! I recommend to come before sunset for the best views and stay till it gets dark.

Very beautiful area, has stunning views, especially at sunset. The scenery is breathtaking, but be careful with the monkeys they can snatch phones, glasses, or hats. It’s also quite crowded, so taking photos isn’t easy esp from the monkeys they’re quite problematic but it’s still a must-visit spot in Bali.

We arrived a little later in the evening so we didn't get to see the whole property but the fire dance story telling was quite impressive. To hear the choir in sync and see the actors helped to gain a little insight into the Indonesian culture. I watched a few little monkeys steal phones and glasses so hold your possessions close!

Beautiful incredible place. Nice place for views and the temple is beautiful. Very hot so take sunscreen, hat and water. Very well kept functional temple. The monkeys here are huge and cheeky. Exercise caution. Nothing to worry about if u just leave them alone!

Absolutely stunning viewpoint with breathtaking views — highly recommended, especially during sunset! Entry fee is very reasonable at only 10,000 per person. If you want to fly a drone, there’s an extra charge of 100,000, but honestly, the views are worth it. I suggest arriving about 30 minutes to an hour before sunset so you can enjoy the landscape in good daylight as well as during golden hour. The area has plenty of benches to relax and a small café where you can buy drinks like coconut water, beer, and more. In my opinion, the view here is much better than from Uluwatu Temple — and way cheaper too. If you’re worried about monkeys, no need — locals here actively chase them away, which makes the visit much more comfortable. Just a heads up: after sunset, Grab drivers might try to ask for extra money or cancel your ride. It took us five tries to finally get a driver willing to come. Walking to the main road takes about 20 minutes through forested paths, which can be a bit risky in the dark. So try to leave before it gets completely dark or be prepared to negotiate. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot and well worth a visit!

A great cliff camping spot. It only costs 50K IDR per person to stay overnight in a tent, but you need to bring your own tent. You can make a bonfire and have a cliff party at night. You need to be aware that there will be a large group of monkeys stealing things the next morning. Our companion's slippers were snatched away by monkeys.

Found this spot from TikTok since it kept showing up on my feed. Came here on a weekday and it wasn’t too crowded. The place isn’t that big, but cozy enough for couples to sit and enjoy the sunset. No entrance fee, and you can even bring your own snacks, just don’t forget to clean up after yourself! I tried the iced chocolate from the cart, but it was just so so. Drinks are pretty overpriced for what you get, but that’s kind of how it goes at touristy spots in Bali. Sunset was okay, but I’ve definitely found better places to watch it.

Nice spot with wide views over the cliffs and the ocean. The area is quiet and not too crowded, which makes it pleasant for a short visit and some photos. Nothing extraordinary, but worth a stop if you are already around Uluwatu.

Fantastic!! Great view!! Great performance!! So, there are a few high steps to climb - but it is totally worth it! Arrive a little before 6pm so that you can take in the gorgeous views and enjoy the sunset skies. There is a little cafe outside the open air amphitheatre for drinks and chill.

Abit of an arduous journey towards the tail end but still accessible with both a motorbike or a car. The view was stunning and we even had a meal. Do support the local toko for their beverages (we had a coconut shared cause it was huge) and they have a Kecak dance performance from 6:30pm onwards with a sick view of the cliff. Highly recommended hidden gem!!

Absolutely stunning viewpoint. I was unlucky with the weather not to experience the sunset at its prettiest but I still got to see this amazing cliffside. There is a small shop where you can buy drinks and there is a very small entrance fee to enter the place.

Suluban quickly became my favorite beach in Bali. The setting is absolutely stunning, a true paradise for surfers, with great food spots nearby and some of the most breathtaking sunsets we’ve seen. The slightly tricky access, depending on waves and tide, actually made it feel even more special to me, and unlike many other places, it was never overcrowded. That said, the amount of trash especially in the parking area and even on parts of the beach is absurd and really takes away from the overall impression. Still, we kept coming back because the place is unique and full of charm. Just watch out for the monkeys, on one of our five visits, a tourist had their phone stolen from the beach.

The beach itself is absolutely stunning and amazing views. The only downside was the walk down—there was strong smell along the path, which wasn’t pleasant. But once you reach the beach, it’s totally worth it. It’s only small beach and it was very big wave so couldn’t go till inside. Only enough for took photos nothing else!

If you want to watch surfing, this is a great spot. Many locals and semi-permanent surfers ride the waves here. In addition, the beach is definitely "exotic", with the sea rushing into the cave beach. It's quite a hike down to the beach, and you need to be aware of the monkeys, who will steal your water or your coke.

Incredible hidden gem! The rocky cave entrance and misty ocean views gave Suluban an adventurous, dramatic vibe. Cloudy skies only made it feel more unique and wild.

Must visit if you are visiting Uluwatu area. It’s truly a panoramic view from wherever you decide to go in for views - I went to Single fin👍 Highly recommend going down the small alley if you have good knee joints😅 not for the elderly. It’s a narrow, steep, slippery alley going down. And some monkeys too! The beach view is simply breathtaking.. go through the big rocks on the right side when you are down and a less popular beach area shows up.

Very nice beach with beautiful views and restaurants on the side of the cliff. Haven’t seen anything like it. Especially beautiful around sunset. I think if the part you have to walk through (where all the restaurants are located) gets a bit of love and attention it’ll be even better.

People saying not to go here are insane or perhaps trying to keep tourists from coming. Aside from the wannabe influencers being annoying with their posing and blocking the view of the surf and sunset, this place is spectacular. Definitely want to visit at low tide and yes watch your step on the way down but we took our 7 year old and 3 year old and they had a blast in the tide pool. Monkeys, unique sand texture and man that wave machine out front spitting out barrel after barrel is exactly what we came to see in Bali.

Not all ots cracked up to be...living in Cornwall I guess I was expecting it to be more thanwhat there was, but have been spoiled by clean beaches where I live. Be careful the monkeys!

It was high tide when I visited, so I couldn’t actually walk onto the beach after making the long trek down the stairs. Aside from snapping a few Instagram-worthy photos, it didn’t feel like the trip was really worth it. The bar on the cliff was quite nice though — it offers a stunning view overlooking the beach and cliffs, which helped make up for the rest. The overall area felt a bit disorganized, with lots of small stalls selling souvenirs along the stairs. It’s a popular spot, but personally, I wouldn’t visit again.

Bought few keychains and other items from here, only to find out they were available at krisna oleh oleh (near dps airport) at way cheaper price. Set of 10 key chain were cheaper there than just one key chain bought from here. BTW there collection is not bad, but make sure to check with other places.

Thomas Beach was a nice, quiet spot compared to the more crowded ones nearby. You have to walk down a set of steps to reach it. We paid 100,000 IDR for two sunbeds. The beach isn’t fancy, there are quite a few stones in the sand so make sure you walk in your flip flops. The waves are strong, so it’s a place also popular with surfers. Overall, a calmer and more secluded place to relax.

Thomas beach is great! It’s a little quieter than some of the other beaches in the area but the views and water are breathtaking. They have some great rock formations and more speculated peaceful spots further along as well. They have some local stores and warungs along the beach that are helpful and have a wide variety of drinks and meals. All the staff and friendly and kind. The beach is also in a great spot as it’s a short walk from the Main Street where you can go for a bite to eat or drink after!

Really beautiful beach. Some steps to get down and up but very manageable with breaks and water. The have surf board rentals and some food options. There is only one place that takes card, so bring cash! Mostly clean, only a little trash washed up. There are chairs and umbrellas you can rent- we got ours for 100k.

This beach is good for someone who wants to chill. There were not many people and the view is great. Unfortunately the sea was very dirty - there were many plastic bags and garbage in the water so it was not so good for swimming + sometimes the waves were too big to swim. And you have to be carefuk when you go down to the beach because there are monkeys which can steal (they stole us bananas 🥲)

Honestly, I didn’t like this beach at all. It’s dirty, full of monkeys and fallen coconuts everywhere. The water is rough, swimming is almost impossible, and the place feels totally unkept. Definitely not worth the climb down.

I found the beaches in Uluwatu very commercial and overcrowded. If you think Canggu is touristy, Uluwatu takes it to another level. Most beaches charge 15k entry per person, and a parasol spot without beds costs 100k (in Canggu that was for two beds). The beach and sea are beautiful, but hard to enjoy since it’s packed. A “cold” coconut costs 50k — but it’s only cold on the outside. Overall, I preferred Canggu: less touristy, more relaxed. A 4.4 rating from almost 2,000 reviews doesn’t feel accurate to me.

The beach is small and crowded with lots of rubbish everywhere. To get into the water, you have to thread through an enormous amount of algae and plastic rubbish which is absolutely disgusting. I didn't stay more than 5 minutes. The entry fee is 15k IDR which they obviously don't spend on keeping the beach clean.

Its a kind of a nice place, buy way too many people here in a small space. There are so many more beautiful beaches on Bali I am not sure why so many people crowd into this one. It would probably be great if not so many people I suppose, but as it is not too interesting for me. The monkeys are kind of fun here and do not really bother you. Nice place to hang out at. The beach is super clear with waves forming nearing the beach. Good for surfing and tanning. The whole beach area looks very clean unlike some beaches we went to. Entrance is only 10k for adults while lesser for kids (forgot how much but aiya dont sweat about d kids price la). Do note that there is abit of steps to go dow to d beach to but since its actually a cliff leading to a beach, stairs/steps are common. There are stalls selling food n drinks around d area, so u can jz grab food there. Whether its Halal or not, its your own personal choice to buy ya, we are not stopping u.. The place is actually very pretty to be at, especially from the top view, so ya, enjoy the scenery ya.. Oya, travelling from Kuta, may take u about at least an hour.. travel here only if u are heading to Uluwatu/Jimbaran.. koz it may really drain ur patience with the traffic flow. Ulu Garden quickly became one of my favorite spots during my entire Bali trip for so many reasons The interiors are authentic and beautifully designed creating a positive and relaxing atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. The service is attentive, and their menu offers a wide variety of dishes to choose from. We tried quite a few items Snapper, Tuna Bowl, Chicken Teriyaki Bowl, Nasi Goreng, and Vietnamese Rolls. Each dish was flavorful and well-prepared with different sauces complementing the flavors perfectly. The Snapper was my absolute favorite we wiped the plate clean I’d definitely return to Ulu Garden whenever I’m in Uluwatu to try even more from their menu. Highly recommended!

What a lovely experience! We visited Ulu Garden on a night with live music and traditional Balinese dance, which truly made the evening special. The atmosphere is amazing – the place has a real jungle vibe, with lush greenery, soft lighting, and a calm, laid-back energy. The food was very tasty – fresh and full of flavor. We just wished there was a little more of it, because it was so good we could have easily eaten more. We also enjoyed a Pinot Noir produced locally in Bali, which really surprised us – a delicious wine that paired perfectly with the meal. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of both the food and the setting. Overall, this is a beautiful spot that we can truly recommend. We’d love to come back!

Everything from the atmosphere to the food & staff is amazing here. They have my favorite matcha latte, and their food is also fresh and full of flavor. Their breakfast items are all amazing and look forward to coming back for dinner. Side note if you come here early enough you can usually catch the monkeys hanging out, which was fun to see.

I had a wonderful dinner at Ulu Garden. The chicken teriyaki was tremendously delicious, packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. Beyond the food, the location is truly beautiful, a bit hidden, which makes it feel like a secret gem. I love the layout across two floors, giving it a unique and cozy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly attentive and kind, and there was even live music during our visit, which added a lovely touch. It's also a great spot for families, as they have a small playground area on the lower floor, perfect for keeping little ones entertained.

Dinner at Ulu Garden was honestly next level divine, hands down my favourite meal in Uluwatu. We started with the Vegetables lumpia and Martabak moringa. Both were fresh and punchy, with vibrant sambals and that spiced coconut and ginger balance that really stood out. For mains we had the Lemony tuna and the Roasted chicken. The tuna was beautifully cooked and lifted by green papaya that gave a bright, almost pickled-cabbage kind of tang, with roasted sweet potato, baby corn, and a creamy kemangi sauce. The chicken was juicy and full of flavour, served with urapan moringa, yellow rice, and sambal hijau. The sauces were to die for. It felt like the perfect way to experience elevated Indonesian food, authentic flavours but refined and creative. We finished with two traditional Balinese desserts, the Dadar gulung (pandan crepes with coconut and palm sugar) and the Klepon bath (soft pandan coconut balls that burst with sweet coconut inside). The klepon were out of this world, like tropical mochi, and absolutely addictive. The service was just as good as the food. Our waiter, Dika, was wonderful, confident in helping us choose, warm in his approach, and made the whole experience seamless. The meal was faultless from start to finish. The setting tied it all together. Even with rain, the lush garden felt magical. A live band played, there was cultural dancing, and the artwork inside, especially the bold tiger mural, added so much character. Warm, atmospheric, and just a joy to be in. If you’re looking for something beyond the usual warung fare, Ulu Garden is a must. Elevated Indonesian flavours, unforgettable atmosphere, and service that makes you feel truly looked after.

We got the grilled chicken salad and it was super tasty and fresh. The pineapple smoothie was so good. I had been having trouble finding good juices in Bali and this one was nicely prepared. The environment was chill and comfortable for a meal.

On the downside, the prices were higher than we expected, and the food wasn’t that good, at least in our experience. Still, the vibe and service made it a pleasant place to spend some time.

Had been craving beef rendang since the previous evening, was super happy to come across this place that happened to have it on their sandwich board. I had just arrived to Uluwatu and was walking randomly late in the evening, starving. Thought it was my lucky day. Too bad the meat was tough and chewy, not slow cooked long enough and the portion of protein was a bit small, also ordered the papaya salad. Everthing was just kind of sweet and missing the authentic bright aromatic flavors I had been hoping for. My mango coconut smoothie was yummy however. It was just one order of papaya salad that was ordered before the rendang arrived at my table. High hopes since the smoothie was good.

Bruh, the food in previous reviews even looks average, and moreover they change original Thai recipes, ruining your taste expectations. I got tempeh tofu green curry, it was really sweet — seems like there’s enough sugar is inside… I would come here again only being really hungry while all the good places were closed.

Over the 2 days we went we ordered the tom yum soup, Thai chicken basil, smoothie bowl, the juices (we chugged all of ours), pad Thai, and massaman curry, and all were great! 100% best Warung in Uluwatu for food quality, service, and price.

We stayed for 3 nights here and had a very comfortable stay. Large room and bathroom. Clean and tidy. Right in the centre of Uluwatu. We ate breakfast at the cafe every morning and all of our meals were amazing. Great value for money on accommodation and food.

This was more elevated than the google photos make it out to be. I was impressed by the presentation and the flavor. Their cocktail program is great too, not too many fruity cocktails and a mixologist who understands balance of flavors in a mixed drink. We went on a Wednesday night and made reservations a head of time which we were seated promptly upon arrival. There was an awesome jazz band playing which switched to a local artist then back to the full band in the course of us being there for our 2 hour dining experience. The views were beautiful before the sun went down and after there was peaceful breeze off the ocean while we ate, surprising because it just rained and it wasn’t too muggy. The service was top notch, and they were able to accommodate my gluten free and dairy free needs, having multiple options on the menu. The only thing I wouldn’t order again was the sirloin. It’s was a bit tough for a medium rare.

We had a fantastic experience at Mana Uluwatu. The restaurant is stunning, with a beautiful atmosphere, amazing views, and delicious food that exceeded our expectations. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. A special mention goes to Dody, who looked after us with such kindness and professionalism. He was attentive, very polite, and made us feel truly welcome throughout our visit. His warm service made our evening even more enjoyable. Best dinner we had in Uluwatu. We had dinner here three times and we were not disappointed once. The service was very attentive, Flo taking care of us twice of the three occasions. We felt very well taken care of! The food is in a nice fusion style, perfect for the weather in Bali. The cocktails are classics with a twist that actually delivers (Mana Negroni!!) and the sunset view is the best we’ve experienced in a retail in Uluwatu. We loved our meal at Mana. We tried every ceviche and they were so good. Snapper was an highlight. Also had the gem lettuce, pappardelle alle vongole, oysters (naked and baked), and the crispy pork belly taco. Cocktails were amazing and the service was wonderful. Views were perfection. Love music was a bonus. Highly recommend when staying in Uluwatu.

Mana (Uluwato location) is one of those rare spots in Bali where everything just feels right calm, beautiful, elegant without trying too hard. I came two times on a regular afternoon and ended up staying for hours. The outdoor restaurant has stunning views over the cliffs, and there’s also a pool area where you can relax, enjoy the sun and sip something refreshing. Inside, there’s another stylish space with cozy corners and great coffee. Whether you’re coming for lunch, a coffee, or just to unwind with a view, Mana is perfect. it’s calmer, more grounded, but still visually stunning. As a Latina who truly loves tacos… let me tell you: these tacos were amazing! I didn’t expect to find something so authentic and delicious here in Bali, but I was honestly impressed. The flavors, the tortillas, the presentation, everything felt on point. Ideal for solo time, dates, or content creation. I’ll definitely come back.

This was honestly the worst service experience I’ve ever had in Bali. It felt like the staff had never been trained in basic hospitality. I came to the restaurant with one friend around 8:30 PM — the place wasn’t even busy. The staff seated us at a small table away from the sea view. I asked politely if we could move to a seaside table, but they said no because it was “reserved.” Not even a minute later, four Western guests walked in, and the staff immediately offered them that exact table. It felt extremely disrespectful — like we were being treated differently or looked down on. When our food arrived, we had four dishes and barely any space on the table. I asked again if we could move to a bigger table, and only then they said okay. The whole situation felt ridiculous. To make it worse, when we asked for the bill, it took forever. Turns out the bill had been sitting on the counter the whole time and no one brought it to us — even though the restaurant was less than 20% full. If the service is this bad when it’s quiet, I can’t imagine how terrible it must be when it’s full. The staff clearly lack service training and any sense of hospitality. Dining here completely ruined the mood of our entire trip. It’s such a shame because Bali is known for its warmth and kindness — but this place was the exact opposite.

Absolutely spectacular from start to finish. We booked the sunset sofa for two, which was perfect—comfortable, secure for leaving our belongings when we wanted to join the pool fun, and offered stunning views. The atmosphere blends relaxed luxury with Bali’s tropical vibe, and the Sunday party starting around 3 PM was incredible—great music, lively energy, and the most breathtaking sunset. Service was fast, attentive, and super friendly. A must-visit spot in Uluwatu for amazing views, great food, and unforgettable vibes. 🌴🥥🌅

An absolutely spectacular place. I had two fresh coconuts and a fruit platter, everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The views are simply breathtaking, one of those spots where you could stay for hours enjoying the scenery and the ocean breeze. The service was super attentive, friendly, and fast, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere perfectly combines relaxed luxury with Bali’s tropical charm. On the more expensive side but nice for a special occasion! Worth it for the views. We got the high table in the sunset theatre and enjoyed an amazing sunset. Nice atmosphere and live trumpet and violin music. A minimum spend applies. We got the bread basket, chicken skewers, Patatas Bravas and mini hamburgers

This is a sunset party place and you have dining option and also in the terrace there is option to get in the swimming pool, enjoy sunset and have drinks. One needs to prebook this in advance. If you are planning to have food here, it's good, but it is very expensive. Also they charge somewhere between 400,000 idr to 800,000 idr depending on the area you want to book as the pre-booking amount. Overall the vibe is good, sunset is beautiful.

Cozy mall in Denpasar with shops, supermarket, ACE, and Gramedia. Lots of food choices, not too crowded. Parking is big but busier on weekends.

While I wrote another review about a different shop inside the mall, I didn’t realize I had never reviewed the mall itself, which should be something more significant to provide information about whether one would like to visit or not. Mall Bali Galeria is located in By Pass Ngurah Rai, and there is another exit next to the Duty Free. There used to be an entry there, operated when it’s too crowded on this site, but I haven’t visited enough during peak hour lately to know whether it’s still in operation. Parking. There are plenty of parking lots, from the VIP, the shaded one, the elevated one with scary ramp to the ones that are under the sun. The shaded one is located in the basement, beside a quite smelly city drain (I believe). However, I prefer to park here as the access to the mall is closer. During hot season it can be unbearably hot to park your vehicle without shade. Parking fee is standard, I can’t recall the detail now, but it’s one of the cheapest mall parking rate that charges you by hour with first hour being the most expensive. The mall itself is partially air-conditioned, with open area. It’s a two row concept with open space in the middle. It can be hot. There are barely any public sitting space/bench. Shops. From clothing to sport, watches, supermarket, medicine, bank, hardware, coffee shop, cinema, and many F&B. You can get many things here but personally, I think it’s a bit on mediocre side. You might not get everything you need. Having said that, I think the mall is variative enough although it no longer has bookshop the last time I visited. I don’t remember seeing Gramedia, Indonesian book store chain, but there are are under renovation so there is still hope. Overall, I think it’s worth going. The mall is on the older side, and the layout is quite different, but I think it has the charm in its unique way.

One of the malls we visited in Bali is the Mal Bali Galeria. There are various shops and restaurants. To book a taxi, go to the Level southern zone of the mall. Look for the taxi stand and ride only Bluebird taxi since it's metered and safe taxi to ride.

It’s a really nice mall. It’s not too big, but it has a great variety of shops — from fashion and electronics to cozy cafés and little boutiques. The atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, and the people are always friendly and helpful. It feels like a big, spacious department store. There are many restaurants with food from all over the world. And it's not a bad idea to invest your time because you have to walk a lot, but there are many things to see. It's a clean and safe shopping place. I recommend you to take your time and look around.

The watersports were a great time. Everything was organized smoothly, the beach was clean, and the equipment appeared well-maintained. The watersport staff were friendly, helpful, and made sure we understood each activity before starting. Safety was clearly a priority, and the energy from the team running the activities made it fun from start to finish. The only downside was the front entrance staff. They were noticeably disengaged and unwelcoming, with one even rolling their eyes as we arrived. It set an awkward tone at first but thankfully didn’t reflect the rest of the experience. Overall, the water activities were well worth it and I would recommend this spot to others looking for a fun and safe beach day.

Sita assisted me in getting a nice personal package. I did solo FlyBoard and FlatBoard. It was an amazing experience. Flyboard was successful after multiple failed attempts. But all in all i got the hang of it and could successfully do it SOLO. Flatboard really needs strength from your arms and legs. Prior experience would be great. I couldnt make it successfully after trying more than 20-25 min

This place is best for water sports. I tried parasailing with my friend. It was our first time parasailing and we did it here in Uluwatu in Bintang Beach Club. I was just disappointed because we paid 750IDR for parasailing and the guide told us 6min up on air but I felt it was only 3mins or less.. it was too short 😅 I also recommend that you bring your phone and give it to the guide when you're in the boat so you may have your photos and videos as you go up the air. I had no pics and vids, really, good thing I brought my insta 360cam. You may also take photos with the boats as background and/or the entire resort.

Probably the nicest beach for swimming, close to main areas of Bali, easily accessible and plenty of beach side bars and cafes. Avoid hotel outlets as they will charge you exorbitant prices.

Nusa Dua Beach is absolutely beautiful and one of the highlights of our trip. The water is calm and inviting, and the beach itself is clean and well kept. What really made it special for us were the sunrises. Waking up early and walking down to the gazebos to watch the sky change colors was unforgettable. It is the kind of place that feels peaceful and safe, where you can truly relax and take in the beauty around you. The little lookout spots with gazebos added such a unique charm and made it easy to just sit back and appreciate the views.

Wonderful beach. Calm water when the tide is out. Many resto there. Walk to the pula Nusa Dharma. Pay only the parking fare here.

Gorgeous beach located inside a resort. The beach is wide and there are restaurants inside where you can sit and watch the surfers. Not much of a swimming beach as the water is shallow. But still great for sunset and spending a day laying out.

It’s very hard to park, and even harder to get out once you do. The toilet is like a cave. We went to the first spot we saw and paid 100k rupiah for a sunbed. Swimming is difficult. It’s only suitable for sunset and surfing.

One of the best beaches in Bali with big waves and fine sand is Dreamland Beach. Accessible from a residential area in Pecatu, South Bali, this beach is very popular among surfing enthusiasts. I've been here many times, and it never gets boring. Especially at sunset, it's truly breathtaking. Parking is only IDR 20,000. Google Maps directs you to "Dreamland Beach Parking Area," as simply typing "Dreamland Beach" will only direct you to the hotel parking area. Unfortunately, the toilet area is not maintain well. Dirty and stinky.

It’s a good spot for a swim—the waves were gentle when we visited—but do watch out for a few hidden rocks in the water. Dreamland for surfers for sure 🏄‍♂️ and if you’re strong swimmer, you’ll definitely enjoy the big waves too. No place for frogy people at high tide in big waves, so be sure not to test your limits here and stay safe. Beautiful place where you can just lay in the sand or get your adrenaline high in the waves 🌊 It famous beach, so don’t go at weekends or expect the crowd. Parking is not that bad at weekdays..

This is a fantastic place for a refreshing swim, offering delicious food and easy access to one of the cleanest and most beautiful beaches around. It's also an excellent surf spot with great waves. Highly recommended!

Sunset here is amazing!! Smoothies are good, no water mix same as another places. Entrance ticket is 100k idr per person but you can use it to pay for F&B, much cheaper than another places where are called beach club! But besides, the building looks old and no lights at the parking and on the way to drive out.

Positive Aspect: The place offers stunning views of Dreamland Beach, making it a pleasure to relax and enjoy the scenery. Additionally, parking at the beach club is free, although there is a minimum spend of 100k IDR per person. The location provides direct access to the beach, which is very convenient for enjoying the sea and sand. Negative Aspect: Unfortunately, the place is quite neglected and looks as if construction was abandoned long ago. The pool was filled with unsupervised children, making it impossible to relax. The restaurant service was terrible: the food was bad and overpriced. They charge over 20% more than the listed menu prices, supposedly for service and fees. As a vegetarian, I specifically requested vegetarian dishes, but twice they brought me meals with meat. They got our orders wrong two times, and we ended up waiting over 2 hours to eat.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Klapa Kuta Beach Club is the perfect place to enjoy a day at the beach. The sunset view is really cool and the atmosphere is really relaxing. The swimming pool is clean and spacious, nice for swimming while enjoying the sea. The food is delicious, especially the seafood platter, and don't miss trying the really fresh Bintang Crystal Beer. The service is friendly and helpful, making the experience here enjoyable. Klapa Kuta Beach Club is a must-visit place in Bali. Will definitely come back again!

Amazing beach club perched on top of Dreamland beach. Sunsets are amazing and this beach club it’s not as pricey as other ones that we have been to. Food is so so and other areas of beach clubs are like abandoned, but if you are into clean pools and magical sunset views then you need to check this place up! Only thing it opens at midday and ordes of noisy tourists get dropped off to the beach club just before sunset, so I suggest to arrive around 2/3 to get a good sunset spot

What a great beach to learn to surf at. Great instructors. And there is a bit of shade from the harsh bali sun. Be prepared to walk up and down 100 or so steep stairs.

Prettiest beach I have seen in bali - it easily became my favorite. It is rather small, but that’s what makes it cozy. Didn’t get a chance to surf here but waves seem chill and beginner friendly compared to other parts of bali. Beach was quite crowded on Friday past noon, but still worth visiting💯 Sidenote: -has entrance fee -will see some monkeys -has 2 not-so-clean bathroom and 3 showers, no area to change -need to walk up and down steep steps to reach the beach area, could be difficult for elders or kids if you are traveling as a family

Small but gorgeous. Even without the typical sunny Bali weather, the mist and soft light made Padang Padang feel peaceful and strikingly beautiful. Perfect for a relaxed visit watching surfers or actually surfing!

This beach is undeniably beautiful and incredibly photogenic—easily one of the must-visit spots in the area. Access is via a stairway and there is a small entry fee, but once you arrive, the stunning views make it all worthwhile. The beach is nit very big but good for swimming. The water is generally inviting, though some areas have stronger swells and scattered rocks, so a bit of caution is needed. We did notice some natural debris—leaves, twigs, and other remnants from nearby cliffs—floating in the water, which slightly detracted from the swimming experience. While the beach isn’t spotless, the debris appears to be from the surrounding nature rather than pollution. There are small local vendors around selling water, beer, and snacks, adding to the relaxed, local vibe. We even spotted a few adventurous visitors trying out cliff jumping from the nearby rocks. Overall, while not the cleanest beach for swimming, its raw natural beauty, peaceful setting, and stunning views make it a place worth experiencing. Be careful of the monkeys which are along the way of entrance of the beach.

Very beautiful and scenic beach, loads of surfers there too. It has entry fee. However it is polluted, there is rubbish everywhere and we didnt see any bins. Given its no free access it should be cleaned way more.

The beach was clean and not very crowded when I was there. You can buy drinks. It's about a 10-minute walk to get there. The beach isn't suitable for swimming.

Warning! The beach no longer looks like it used to. Local houses have been demolished and today there is only a pile of rubble on the site. The beach is accessible but the road is dangerous.

As of September 27, 2025, the access path to the beach shown on Google Maps is no longer usable: the final staircase leading down to the sand is broken off after just a few steps. All the facilities that once stood on this beach have been demolished (as they were irregular and built without the required permits), and dismantling work is still ongoing. At this stage, there’s no point in coming here until further developments—hopefully positive ones, especially for the local community.

This posting has three highlights: 1. Government made the right decision to destroy ALL buildings. Wave reaches STAIRS of all buildings on beach. And not a single business had permits of any sort. Most importantly no certified architect was used. 2. OWNER promoted himself as something he is not. Built and operated everything illegal from day 1. Concept interesting for sure at the expense of destroying the icon beach with massive building. 3. SAFETY ISSUES- The government is irresponsible and negligent for not blocking access to beach for tourists, when demonlition is on going. Children and adults have to walk through torn down buildings, walk on broken glasses etc. A real danger. Please block all access to beach until it is safe. IT IS NOT SAFE.

This is a vibey beach, used to. Land disputes going on so the establishments are in ruins. Pure chaos. Its a nice experience though. Like visiting an abandoned beautiful beach. The vibe is still there. Beach shacks sell bintang and coconuts. The crowd ia good.

Bingin Beach is undeniably beautiful, with clear water and a stunning setting that makes it worth seeing at least once. That being said, the journey down is not for the faint of heart. The stairs are steep and long, which can make it a bit of a challenge, especially in the heat. Once you arrive at the beach, it is lovely, but if you are not a surfer it can feel slightly underwhelming compared to the effort it takes to get down there. It is definitely a special spot for surfers, though, and offers that classic Bali beach view that many people are looking for. For us, it was a 3-four-star experience.

Entire beach looks like a war zone. The path to the beach has shards of glass everywhere. Be very careful or better yet don’t go at all.

We walk for about 15 minutes to reach the beach but it was worthed. The view from the top is amazing. Just few tourists were there so it is a really nice beach if you want to relax. I suggest you to bring food and drink since there is just one warung on the beach. It is not easy to get inside the water due to big waves and coral reefs.

The beach is very beautiful. It’s better to come there before noon, while there’s a high tide. If you wanna see the insta-famous shipwreck you should go right while going down (there will be a few signs).

The entrance is next to the paragliding spot. Rocky pathway to the beach, need 5-10 minutes walking from the parking lot and extra stamina for the way back. The beach is very quite and the wave is great for surfing. Nyang Nyang also enlisted in the best 100 beaches in the world by Flight Network in 2018. Not really recommended for family except the one who seek for adventurous experience one

Wild looking beach, with parts of the crashed ship, with nice sand and friendly waves. The way to the beach from parking place on the top will be with thousands of rock stairs, be ready to burn calories and watch your step! The worst part is the trash on the sand around all beach.

Beautiful beach in Bali. It's beautiful to hunting the sunset in here. You have to go down to reach this beach. And if you are about to go home you have to climb the hill and it's awasome! Like private beach. Yes, the beach is not widely known for international tourist or domestic.

The museum has a good collection, and it was quite a pleasant stroll overall. HOWEVER, the lighting was really poor, many artworks didn’t shine the way they should and ended up losing their spark. Some paintings also didn’t have proper credits to the artists, which was a bit of a pity. I did appreciate the introductions at the beginning of each room, explaining the artists and the theme. It was really nice and helpful. Still, lighting plays such a big role in appreciating art, and I really hope the team improves this part. On my last visit, which happened to be during Independence Day, one of the final rooms was closed for a group event, so I couldn’t finish my tour. 😔

It was our pleasure to go around the museum. My 4,5 years old daughter was also really excited about gallery. 11 different rooms with artist from all over the world.

The museum has a very beautiful and large collection of mainly potrait & landcape paintings from of contempary artists both from bali & the pacific region. The paintings curated were in my opinion very good as i love impressionist paintings. They also display statues mainly of balinese subject & an entire section dedicated to pacifice islander woodcarvings. Had a wonderful 90 minute visit here.

Every room is a journey, and the architecture of the museum itself adds to the charm, blending so harmoniously with the spirit of the island. The artworks and sculptures tell deep, rich stories, and I found myself completely immersed. Honestly, some of the pictures and installations are just world-class, it’s like stepping into a living, breathing canvas of history and culture. I do wish there had been a guide or audio guide available; the staff were quite absent during my visit, and a little more context or narration would have made the experience even more enriching. That said, the serenity of the space, the quiet beauty, and the sheer quality of the exhibits more than made up for it. Truly one of the best museum experiences I’ve had. Highly recommended, don’t miss it!

The collection tag line is a marketing gimmick, yes, the first maybe... but for sure not the only nor the largest. Maybe the largest if you count all the beads of the bangles the collected. if you are looking to learn about art or the culture, forget it! they understand no culture, no art, just marketing gimmick. the earliest collection they have was from 1918, and they said they specialised in asia pacific painting. please... try again oh dont forget the possibilty of misidentification of painting technique!

Wow... the Pasifika Museum is one of the largest museums in Asia, located in Nusa Dua, Bali. Here, I can clearly see paintings by some of the world's best artists. This place is a must-visit destination for tourists visiting Bali. Entrance tickets are very cheap, only USD $7 (IDR 100,000) for foreign tourists and USD $5 (IDR 70,000) for local tourists. If you love art, you must visit; this place is highly recommended.

What a view! Luckily and unexpectedly came across this place. Food was amazing so were the drinks. And they made a great shisha according to my instructions. They had al fakher mint flavour so that’s always a good thing. It’s a climb down the cliff so it might be equal to a heavy cardio for some. It’s a safe staircase but the stairs are a bit tall

Such a different and memorable experience! I met Rocket, the sweetest dog — we actually ate together, which made it even more special. The owner, Mr. Simon, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The Red Snapper was absolutely the best I’ve had — so fresh and perfectly cooked. We also ordered dumplings, which were delicious. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. Highly recommended if you’re looking for great food and good vibes in Uluwatu!

The Lucky Fish at Bingin is amazing! My partner and I ate there several times over our stay and each meal was fantastic. They have plenty of options for food and also even have a plentiful drinks menu! Between us we ordered The Big Bingin Breakfast, Salt & Pepper Calamari Salad, Salt & Pepper Calamari, Crumbed Chicken, Chicken Burger, Asian Style Pumpkin Soup and the Satay Stir Fry. Everything was absolutely perfect⭐️⭐️ Would highly recommend and we will certainly be back!

We ate out on the beach, which is their area of BarBQ dinner only and drinks. The staff was a bit hard to get hold of as they seemed to stay up near the stairs. The waiting staff at your table would only take drink orders. So to order dinner you had to go up to the main restaurant to do that. You have to get there early cause they run out of stock and that's it for the night. We got the prawns and they have a minimum order of 350 grams of prawns. The view of the sunset was just so beautiful and I enjoyed the ocean creeping up at high tide lapping at our feet.

I don’t really like to write bad reviews, but I left pretty frustrated after hanging out here for the sunset. I ended up ordering a couple drinks and there was live music playing. The waiter took my order and brought me two drinks that sadly I did not order. He heard me incorrectly and it was a bummer because both of the drinks I really don’t like. The bar has a policy that if a drink gets put in then you have to pay for it. I told the bartender about what happened and they still stuck with their policy. I ended up having to give away both the drinks so two people got free drinks on my tab. In the future, they should have their staff read back your order so that you know you both agree about what the order is. Nice view for sure.

The first time when we went there, it was busy. So we didn’t expect very attentive service . But when it was less crowded, the waiters did not come to us even they know that we want to order drinks. However, the grilled seafood was good. Fish and prawn were delicious. we love the views too. However, we visited there on the other day for the breakfast, honestly they didn’t provide much service even less crowd. The western food were nice but the laksa was extremely salty and it was hard to eat.

During our trip, we visited many “instagram” spots in Bali (Malini, Wedja, Cretya), but it was the best place so far! 💯 It was almost 1kg fish - enough for 2 people.

Really great massive burger patties, choice of bun, choice of topping. We definitely recommend a visit. They were pretty quiet when we were there and I can't understand why because the food was delicious and affordable.

Don't expect a traditional burger place. The burgers are being advertised as superfood burgers which I guess in the case of Om Burger is being interpreted as burgers without flavor. At first the menu looks very interesting given the amount of options to make your own burger. Unfortunately the results were overall dry, lacking sauces or flavor for that matter. Our waiter didn't ask us how we'd like to have our meat cooked so we received burgers with meat that was well done and thus pretty much dry. The salmon was overcooked and dry as well. The service was very slow given that there was only a single waiter for the entire space which had at least 20 guests when we were there. We actually planned to give Om Burger another try for breakfast but my experience ended on a bad note - I was plagued with food poisoning a few hours after our visit. Cannot recommend coming here.

Great burgers on different kind of buns. Also vegan options. The staff is very friendly. The space looks and feels clean. Would have liked to have some fries or sweet potato fries with the burger instead of chips, but it didn’t make my experience any less. All in all, good place for burgers. Om nom nom.

Delicious! Drawn in by the name and impressed with the food. I had an Om Burger in a Black Sesame Bun plus a Balinese coffee. The burger was very good, totally different than any other vegetarian burger I’ve had. It’s hearty and filling. I’d like to come back and try another variety too. Everything was very fresh and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Great value for the price, you get a big portion that really fills you up! Amazing flavors, I personally loved the salsas and patties. However, both the burger and the cold ‘fries’ were super dry, I added 3 salsas just to the burger but it was still too dry! And they don’t have ketchup!? The staff was very friendly and gave us free tomato salsa for free (still way too dry though).

Do yourself a favor and go to Om Burger. When you get there, order a burger (you won’t regret it) and then for dessert order either a vanilla, chocolate or strawberry milkshake and I promise you that your life will be complete. Let’s just say we frequented Om burger so much that the employees began to recognize us :)

Lovely stuff, great food and fantastic juice cocktails. Bali Dreaming is delicious!There're plenty of vegetarian and vegan options to choose from. And there's no hidden taxes or extra payments like in the restaurants nearby.

Sangkar Restaurant has never disappointed me, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a truly luxurious dining experience in Bali.

The greatest experience I have ever been not only in Bali, but actually in all of Asia, the food is great. The servers are greater and the atmosphere with the view. It’s just stunning. As this place is really expensive and really luxury a tip you can use the 1.5 million minimum spend in both the bar and the restaurant and I just paid exactly that and I got great dinner experience with some cocktails and a coffee within the bar

The Sangkar is located in Bogalve Hotel, Bali, and offers a range of international cuisine. I particularly enjoyed the Javanese-style seafood noodles with prawns and tradtional locate food, the seasoning was lovely and tasty.

The service quality is unmatched. Every single deatil is pin point perfect. Ordered MI Goreng and was simply the best I had during my whole trip . To top it all the views of cliffs while having food is unparalleled. Must Visit , although it can be pricy .

Had a wonderful dining experience at the Bulgari Hotel restaurant. The sunset views were absolutely stunning, the staff were incredibly attentive, and the food was not only delicious but also generous in portions and great value for money. We were celebrating a birthday, and the team made it extra special with their thoughtful touches. Left with a full stomach and an even fuller heart! Ultra Luxury Restaurant in Pecatu: Had amazing meal here, lunch and breakfast as well when I stayed at the Bvlgari Resort. Loved the restaurant with breathtaking cliff views! Totally beautiful! For the food they serve indonesian specialty menu and everything especially the duck menu was just amazing. Price is on the ultra luxury side but the views and vibes were totally worth it! Service was also top notch and super accommodating. Recommend to dine here for special occasions or when you stay at the luxurious villa at Bvlgari!

This is the first time dining at this restaurant, the over all comments is positive. But one thing that's surprised me what that the sirloin which I had ordered was not satisfied because I had requested medium rare but I preferred more rare but unfortunately the sirloin turns out to be too dry. They had suggested to cook another one for replacement. After they had served again the same dish, unfortunately the result is still no good. The manager had came to me and decided to cancel my order. I was so surprised that he make this decision and to cacel it. Good service, well done

What an unforgettable surprise! I celebrated my birthday with a fantastic seven-course tasting meal at The Cave. A stunning 25-thousand-year-old subterranean venue for just 22 guests! I had the Seven-Course Experience. Each dish was outstanding, delivering bold flavours and stunning presentation. The menu changes seasonally, ensuring every visit brings a new culinary journey. We recently dined at The Cave in Bali and it was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive and seamless — the kind of service that quietly anticipates what you need without ever feeling overdone. The food was outstanding, beautifully balanced and considered, with every course feeling thoughtful and memorable. The cocktails were another highlight — the Basillica and Monalisa were our clear favourites, both perfectly crafted and genuinely unique. We honestly couldn’t fault a single element of the experience. We’ve dined at some of the best restaurants across Australia and Europe, and The Cave absolutely holds its own. An unforgettable dining experience and one we’d highly recommend to anyone visiting Bali.

We chose the classic set menu for lunch. Some of the food were unique and tasted wonderful! Others were meh. Loved the cave vibe - we were able to put helmets on and explore up inside a tiny hallway of a wet cave while on break before desserts came. Their "show" however, was just a video of random things projected onto the ceiling, which we thought was silly. The servers were attentive, but some of them sounded like they were whispering when explaining what's on the plate.

Such an exceptional experience! The ambience and vibe were amazing — truly captivating. Halfway through the course, you even get to walk through a cave and enjoy a beautiful light show. The food was incredibly tasty, making it a true fine dining experience from start to finish.

The service overall is top notch. The Cave ambience and feel is awesome. It's a pleasant dining experience overall. However, some of the dish served are too salty. Especially the Trout and Lamb. Maybe it's just not for us as I don't see other diners complaint. Also there are two or three servings requires using our hand and the toilet location is quite far. No serving of napkins prior and after for those dishes. Probably can consider to have.
