Hiking Trails
The Amalfi Coast is a UNESCO-listed landscape featuring small towns perched between mountains and the sea. A popular activity is the Classic Amalfi Coast walking tour, an 11-day journey along the Footpath of the Gods, offering unrivaled Italian coastal hiking. The self-guided walk allows exploration at a personalized pace through idyllic villages like Praiano, Positano, Sorrento, Amalfi, and Maestra dei Villaggi.
Breathtaking and unforgettable! The Amalfi Coast is truly one of the most stunning places you’ll ever see—the views are absolutely postcard-perfect at every turn. Towering cliffs, sparkling turquoise waters, and picturesque villages make this destination something straight out of a dream. I highly recommend visiting by coach if possible. The roads are incredibly narrow, winding, and steep, and while experienced drivers might manage, it’s not for the faint-hearted! If you do decide to drive, go for a small car—a big vehicle would be a real challenge on those roads. Beaches are beautiful but often require a walk down the cliffs, and some do charge for entry. It’s worth it for the experience, though! The restaurants along the coast are wonderful—laid-back, welcoming, and happy to let you enjoy your meal without rushing you, which is refreshing in such a popular tourist spot. Parking is expensive—around €10 per hour—so if you’re driving, plan to make the most of your time there. Honestly, words don’t do it justice—I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. A place you’ll never forget!

Very cool views from a boat tour. The road is very busy and filled with traffic for 4 months of the year - it was still busy in late September. Ferries are probably the better option to see everything the coast has to offer.
Brendan C — Google review
Beautiful town. We went end Sept beginning of Oct and we found it busy - I'm not sure I'd like it at the height of the season! Narrow streets with lots of lovely restaurants and gift shops. Restaurants offer similar choices of food and drink and cost is relative to quality, the average for us was about 45€ each which was 1 main meal and a drink each. Be prepared for lots of hills and stairs! Taxis are expensive but buses and ferries are a cheaper way to travel. The buses are a hair-raising ride but the scenery and views are spectacular. Tickets for the bus are bought either on the bus, some hotels & shops or the terminal. Ferry tickets can be bought online or at the port usually about 10€ but you may be charged extra for luggage. The ferry and bus timetables are pretty spot on but beware of popular times - the bus won't stop if it's full and your next bus could be up to an hour wait. The buses can cost between 1.50€ to 2.50€ depending on time of day. All stops are request stops, other than the terminal. The weather can affect the running of the ferries so always best to have a back up plan. We did a tour bus to Pompei & Herculaneum which was about 2 hours travelling but that was also picking up other people on the way.

We visited Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. After a white-knuckle drive along a cliff-hugging road, we were rewarded with the most spectacular scenery. Words cannot convey the absolute beauty of the Amafi Coast. So here are some pictures. Better to see it in real life!
Dan T — Google review
Arrive by sea and you can see how beautiful the coastline is. But to say its busy is an understatement. The mainstreet is wall to wall people. Narrow at times, it still has a need for cars bikes and electric carts to go up and down it. Once you manage to get further up the widens and you see the real Amalfi. Move away from this street and things become better. Still busy, but not uncontrollably. Views are fantastically pretty. Recommend turning right first off the boat and walking up the hill. Longish walk but very worth it. Do the main Street once you have taken in this view. You'll accept the masses after that. Only views from the sea included, as that would spoil it

Had the chance to visit during the last week of October but there were still many tourists of which we were 2. We tried to visit by boat from Salerno but the weather was bad and the boats cancelled. We thus took the road which was amazing but not for the faint hearted and parking is scarce so only drive if you have to. The part btween Salerno and Positano was amazing and we loved in particular the smaller Atrani and more local Vietri sul Mare.
Julie J — Google review
Driving down the coast In a bus was a little nerve-wracking but the scenery is beautiful. I highly recommend taking the ferry from Salerno to Capri. The views are breath taking.
James B — Google review
The most beautiful drive I've ever taken with breathtaking views around every turn! The roads are narrow with tons of cars truck, motorcycles and pedestrians so if you're not an aggressive driver, this is not for you! Parking is almost impossible but if you can score a parking spot, walking around Amalfi is a delight!

Boat tour agency
Cruise & Snorkel Amalfi Coast - Amalfi Boat Tours offers a breathtaking experience along the stunning Amalfi Coast. The tour includes a visit to the Walk of the Gods, known for its legendary history and panoramic views. A stop at the magnificent Amalfi Cathedral allows visitors to admire its Duomo and stroll through the picturesque Cloisters. Guests can also enjoy breaks for swimming and snorkeling in beautiful spots, including a cave swim experience.
We did the 8 hour Amalfi to Capri tour with about 12 people and it was a wonderful experience. The views were amazing, the time on Capri was nice, wading in the water to cool down was perfect. Our guide Niko was charming and entertaining, really made the experience great. The snorkeling is not particularly interesting, there's nothing exceptional under the water where you stop, so if you are doing it for the snorkeling experience, I would consider other options. This is more about the nice boat ride, good company, excellent views and some time on Capri.

The activity was incredible- the staff were friendly, attentive to our needs, passionate and informative! The views were jaw-dropping, the waters were crystal clear & the photo opportunities were endless. They’ll give you drinks- you just need to ask & the fruits after swimming were so welcomed! My husband is apprehensive with swimming so the pool noodles they provided helped a lot. If you get car/ seasick please take your tablets beforehand as my husband was so nauseous during the trip- especially when we stopped the boat for photo opportunities. Big shout out to the staff for making our day such an amazing one!

I highly recommend this tour! Simone was our guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable leading us around the coast. The music was entertaining. About 11 members on board not crowded at all. We were able to swim at 2 stops for 40 minutes each. Pool noodles and snorkeling equipment was provided. Enjoyed amazing drinks on board as well. Great service and fun boat ride overall.

Had a wonderful time. The host was Vickie and she was so sweet and kind and positive. Our boat captain was very skilled and professional. The boat was beautiful. The snacks and drinks were yummy. And most of all the views and experience were so fun. Would recommend for anyone looking for a fun See adventure. We got off on Capri and did the hike to the natural art which was a wonderful way to spend the three hours on the island. Capri was definitely crowded and extremely touristy but if you get out out of the town, it's very beautiful

Amazing experience! Raphael was so friendly, welcoming, and professional. The tour was well organized and it was easy to find the meeting spot. It’s a beautiful boat, very comfortable and spacious, perfect for sitting back and taking in the incredible views of the Amalfi Coast. The length of the tour was exactly what we needed — long enough to enjoy the scenery and atmosphere without ever feeling rushed, with enough time after getting back to Positano to enjoy a half day at the beach. It was a highlight of our time in Positano and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting!
Sonia P — Google review
This boat tour was absolutely the highlight of my Italy trip! Simone was our guide and he was so much fun. He slowed to show the notable stops and gave informative commentary on each location. Both stops to swim were absolutely gorgeous and the water was warm and pleasant (although I just pretended the fish weren’t near me). By the end our group had all become friends and were almost sad the trip was over. 10/10 recommend, such a great time!
Alyssa D — Google review
We had a great day with touring Capri and the Amalfi Coast with Nico and Andrea. Nico was a knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide who showed us all the best spots along the coast. Andrea expertly maneuvered the boat and was a great captain. Highly recommend these guys!
Henry M — Google review
Everything about the trip was wonderful except that our 4-Hour tour turned into a 3 and 1/2 hour tour when the crew was forced to wait for late arriving guests. The company emphasizes the expectation that guests will be on time to the dock or they will leave without you, but apparently this is not the case. Given what we paid for the tour this was very disappointing. The crew was great, the boat was beautiful, the tour was relaxing, the swimming spots were refreshing..... We just wish we got the full 4 hours.

Villa Rufolo is a 13th-century villa with Moorish influences, renowned for its stunning cascading gardens and terraces that offer breathtaking views of the sea. Over the years, it has become a significant tourist attraction, especially after hosting the first editions of Wagner's Concerts in its gardens. The Villa's international reputation grew further when it was acquired by the Provincial Tourist Board of Salerno and opened to the public.
This town has become know as the city of music. My wife and I went to Villa Rufolo and it was so beautiful. The flowers looked like something that came out of a movie. The exhibits were all nice and historical. If you are ever in Ravello you must check out Villa Rufolo.
Steven G — Google review
The gardens are amazing, and the views especially overlooking the Mediterranean. The actual ruffolo palace left much to be desired; there was an art exhibit up that left me confused. But I would highly recommend visiting while in Ravello. Take the bus up (don’t walk).
Peter S — Google review
One of the most beauiful places ive been to. Up above the Amalfi Coast with outstanding views this small town has it all. The gardens are spectacular and we were lucky enough to have room to move having visited off season in March. The skies cleared and the only word for it is Wow. In my opinion it leaves the coast for dead, a lot quieter and a lot to see and do. Cafes are great and our hotel Lolanda was amazing. I cant stress how important it is to take a little time and go off the beaten track up to this place. Visit all the gardens at the top and you wont be disappointed.
Lisa B — Google review
Must visit, but try earlier than in the evening, as the sun goes away from 4 pm in October. Sunsets are amazing though. And in October there are not so many flowers and colors like in summer pictures, but still nice. The house is unfortunately empty, and there’s not much to do.

The perfect place to start the day in Ravello. Wonderful views from the tower, meticulously arranged flowers, majestic trees, including a ginko biloba and a baobab.

Villa Rufolo was such a hidden gem here in Ravello. Really enjoyed the small room showing the videos and giving some history of the place which helped color a beautiful picture of music, history, and brilliant views. I highly recommend making a stop here if you are visiting Ravello. My best advice, take a scooter to the top of this hill instead of this bulky busses, you’ll be happy you did!

Villa Rufolo is a must - see hot spots destination for anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast. A real hidden gem on the Amalfi Coast and one of my favorite place to see it. This is nature’s artwork on display . A very impressive, stunning place with a unique color of the spirits, worth all the raves about it. Worth spending a day here soaking in the ambience, surrounded by incredible scenery, pure natural peaceful, beautiful masterpieces of gardens and magnificent spectacular breathtaking views from every corner. Specialty Museums
The Paper Museum, also known as Museo della Carta, is a charming museum located in Amalfi that offers a fascinating journey into the history and production of paper. Housed in a historic stone mill, the museum showcases original instruments dating back to the 13th century and provides insight into the city's industrial past linked to paper and foils production. Visitors can explore exhibits featuring printing presses, wooden mallets, manuscripts from the Middle Ages, and even witness demonstrations of ancient machines.
The Amalfi Medieval Paper Museum offers a great guided walk-through of the region’s rich papermaking history. You’ll learn about how handmade paper was produced using cotton and water-powered machinery, some of which still operates today. The museum’s paper has even been said to be used by the Vatican and the Pope, adding to its historical charm. One of the highlights is getting to try your hand at making a sheet of paper yourself, an authentic and hands-on experience.
Casey P — Google review
Took a very easy walk to the mill, which was well worth the visit. The audio guide, accessed by an app, was a fabulous accompaniment to such and interesting museum.
Lisa M — Google review
An unplanned visit turned into a fascinating tour and demonstration the centuries old paper making process. The huge old machines are still running and they turn them on (water powered) it's incredible! The gift shop is great and had perfect reasonable traditional paper souvenirs and the staff were attentive, knowledgeable and kind.
Nicholas S — Google review
Extraordinary experience right off the hustle of Amalfi main tourist streets. Just walk another 5 minutes away from the last shops and you'll find this hidden gem. The guide took us on the historical tour of paper manufacturing in Amalfi region with life demonstration of some of the old machinery and hands on experience. The ticket is 7 euro per person and time to spend is about an hour, depending on the tour schedule. Recommend having a guided tour for a better experience.
Kolya Y — Google review
Worth the walking up the hill to visit this museum. You learn a lot in a little amount of time and you can make your own paper with them! The gift shop also has great gifts for those that love to write whether it’s a journal or post cards!
Sali K — Google review
A charming step back in time! An excellent little trip into history, when paper was made from unwanted clothing! This lovely, interactive museum offers a brief but fascinating look into the origins of papermaking. For a reasonable fee, you’ll travel back through the centuries and discover several working papermaking machines from different eras — all powered by good old H2O. The guided tour is just the right length — not too short, not too long — and you even get to make your own sheet of paper à l’ancienne! Perfect for taking some stunning photos in picturesque Amalfi, Italy. Don’t miss the gift shop, filled with beautiful, high-quality products you can treat yourself with — or bring home for someone special. Highly recommended! Big thanks to our amazing guide, and best wishes to the whole team.

This is a little gem of a shop you must visit if you are in Amalfi! They will give you a tour of the paper making process of old in their very old shop. Was very interesting, quick tour. They are tucked away up high on the main street, but worth the walk up away from the crowds.

Nestled in the heart of the stunning Amalfi Coast, Minori is a charming and picturesque village that offers a more tranquil and authentic experience compared to its popular neighboring resorts. With its rich historical and artistic heritage, visitors can immerse themselves in local culture while exploring monuments, buildings, and natural treasures. This Italian town provides a glimpse into traditional coastal life with fewer tourists, allowing travelers to truly appreciate the local environment.
Such a lovely town! Must visit if you’re travelling around Amalfi coast!
Olha K — Google review
Good wide beach compared to Amalfi, with many reasonably priced umbrellas and sunbeds. Unfortunately, the buoys were too close and we didn't have enough space to swim. There were many boats and quite often you can smell the exhaust gases. Also, despite the water being clean and you could see the bottom easily, there were a lot of light and dark particles of something (maybe algae or debris) floating mainly in the upper layers.
Oleg G — Google review
Nice sea in the midst of mountains. This is no beach, mostly boulders and no sand. But very calm and refreshing in the morning and evening. We enjoyed it very much as the number of people is much less compared to amalfi. Worth it.
Sumanta C — Google review
Maybe only a third of the beach is public, the rest is private (from seaside chiringuitos), so the beach was already quite full, I don't even want to know how does it look like in high season. As a Spaniard, I can only wonder why would you go to this beach... it's like Marbella in August, avoid it if possible. The beach itself is okay, it's clean, with some dark sand and pebbles, but they're rounded and don't hurt your feet. The water was pleasant, and swimming relatively far off coast was allowed.
Jaime G — Google review
Small and calm volcanic rock beach. Wonderful clean water and not overrun by people in October
Jan K — Google review
Great experience overall. This is a lovely town and an amazing beach. Prices here are affordable compared to other towns such as Positano or Amalfi. It costed me €20 for two loungers and an umbrella which was great value. Cocktails are mostly below €10, some even €6. There is a great service and the beach isn’t too busy. Parking can be difficult but if you get there before 12 it should be no problem.
Louis R — Google review
It's a nice beach to visit, water is clean but a bit crowded. You can have a walk around the city, visit the Chapel, have a coffee or enjoy the Market. There are buses going from Amalfi to Minori, and ferries too. You can also hike and go to Maiori. You can go to Maiori from Minori also by ferry or bus. It's worth a visit.

Nice place with a clean mostly sandy beach. Friendly place and suitable for kids. In full season we could find umbrelas to rent. Totally recommended if you want a quiet beach. There are Close by a lot of restaurants and you can also Drink a Coffee or eat in the beach. You can also get a wash for 20cents. It looks not like amalfi bit it is more Worth for the money and especially with a family also. The beach was definatelly better than this one of Amalfi.

Giardino della Minerva is a centuries-old botanical garden located in the historic center of Salerno. Once used by students of the Salerno Medical School, it offers a tranquil escape with terraces, rare plant species, and scenic views of the Gulf of Salerno. Visitors can explore aromatic herbs, spices from around the world, and exotic plants while enjoying unique infusions at the Tisaneria.
Absolutely stunning. The Garden itself but also the views of Salerno were incredible. The way up is, well, hell. There’s an elevator who takes most of the uphill climbing away but the bridge vom the elevator to solid ground is metallic bars you can look through. If that’s something that gives you anxiety, be prepared.
Michelle R — Google review
The Minerva Gardens – home to the first medical university in Europe, which is certainly an important achievement. But is it really worth visiting? That’s debatable. It feels more like a global plant museum, where anyone can spot species from their own homeland. As for the four-tiered plant terraces – are they worth the time? Hard to say. I’ll leave that for everyone to decide personally.

Beautiful historical gardens reaching back in history to the early use of medicinal herbs. Dating back to the 12th century. First School of medicine using plants and herbs for treatment of ailments. Fascinating information. Beautiful terraced gardens, with a gorgeous view of Salerno and the sea.

This is an amazing learning space constructed within the city walls a complex design of gravity fed itrigation keeps all the plants watered and healthy. There is an abundance of diversity and meaning in this space and well worth a visit. Like all places in Salerno, be prepared to climb a few steps.

The Garden of Minerva is a must-visit if you’re in Salerno. It’s a beautiful historical spot with a rich past and stunning views over the city and the sea. The atmosphere is peaceful, perfect for a relaxing walk while learning about the history behind the garden. The entry fee is fair, and considering the experience, it’s great value for money. Highly recommended for anyone who loves nature, history, or simply breathtaking views!
Ramez S — Google review
Beautiful place. They have a huge exhibition of all the medicinal plants in the world. You can scan a square code next to each to find it's history and uses. The design and the flow of the rain water is beyond belief. On top of that the views from each level and the top terrace is well worth the 6 Euros.

Warning: if you don’t have at least a little bit of interest in science and botany, don’t come. If you want just to take pictures of yourself or the view, please don’t come. The place is magical. Just the idea of what these men were doing so long ago. All the plants and how they were trying to figure out their properties and possibilities as medicine - it blows my mind. There is also a nice shop where you can get teas, wines, and a really beautiful view if you are lucky enough to get the best seat in the place.

Located in the heart of Ravello, il Panino food and drink is a must-visit for anyone looking for a quick and delicious bite. The sandwiches are generously sized and made with incredibly fresh bread. Visitors rave about the ham and cheese panini, as well as other options like the coppa Parma with lettuce and lemon. The setting is charming, overlooking a park, making it a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
A perfect place with shade to enjoy the square & the atmosphere of Ravello. Every panini that came out of the kitchen looked good - very hard to choose. Exceptional service from the staff & you’ll see the many cats that roam the square!

Sandwiches were awesome! The place was a little different ordering. You order at the front desk and head to the back. Unfortunately when we went it was raining so wasn’t much options to sit and eat.

Do not waste your time. Girl at the cash register was VERY rude and had a bad attitude. Was on her phone the entire time. When the sandwiches came out they were AWFUL. Waste of money, you can get better sandwiches in Italy for CHEAPER! We fed the rest of the sandwich to the local cats, at least they enjoyed it better!

I believe Il Panino is only outside seating, located next to the church in the main piazza. Service was attentive and very pleasant. We shared a breaded chicken sandwich, fries and each had a drink while enjoying la vita è bella. Would recommend.

We stopped here for lunch when we were visiting Ravella for the day. It was INCREDIBLE. The bread is SO fresh and the sandwiches are HUGE. My kids loved the ham and cheese panini. The service was great! The lemonade is very tasty too (I did need to add some sugar to it.) It’s in a cute central part of town looking at the park. They have a bathroom inside you can use as well as a customer.

Wonderful place to sit, relax and enjoy the heart of town. We had a salad and cantaloupe with prosciutto which was good. We had been craving a salad after 2 days in Rome and this place came through when we needed it. Our meal came with bread and it looked like everything came with rolls which was unexpected.

We really enjoyed our “late lunch” here. The decoration is relaxing, the staff are nice, and the food was delicious. We had the caprese salad (tomatoes were not great but the mozzarella was), mixed fried fish (lacked a bit of flavor), the fried zucchini flowers (fantastic!), and the lemon ice cream (both the sorbet and the cream). It was a nice respite from the crazy busy Amalfi coast. I highly recommend sitting inside, where the atmosphere is much more inviting. We thought it was slightly overpriced but we still enjoyed it very much.

The cooking class was amazing! I saw a sign out front and inquired about the following day, I met the chef and he arranged for me to meet in the morning. We made amazing seafood dishes from sea bass and others, I made squid salad! Then I sat and ate the beautiful food with a glass of wine with an ocean view, the chef was fun and spoke very good English, the rest of the staff was very kind and said hi when they recognized me later in the day. A fantastic experience! I would love to do it again but with the meat option so I can learn more.

A hidden gem in the charming town of Minori. We were kindly directed from the terrace café to the main restaurant for lunch, where we were warmly welcomed by Jimmie — a very friendly and attentive waiter who made the experience even more enjoyable. We tried a delicious selection of dishes, including traditional Ndunderi pasta from Minori, zucchini flowers in tempura with anchovies, lobster, octopus, and excellent desserts like the classic Neapolitan Babà and fresh fruit gelato. Everything was full of flavor and beautifully presented. Only later did we realize the restaurant is part of the renowned Sal De Riso group, famous for its outstanding Italian desserts. A must-visit spot on the Amalfi Coast!
Malena X — Google review
My wife and I visited Sal De Riso and chose to sit outside for a cozy coffee and dessert, and the flavors were absolutely spot on. The pastries lived up to their reputation especially the Caprese al Limone which was fresh, balanced, and simply irresistible. The coffee was perfectly crafted, making for a wonderful pairing. However, when it came to service, we noticed a stark contrast. The three ladies who welcomed us were fantastic, warm, professional, and smiling, truly making us feel valued as guests. Unfortunately, our experience with one of the staff members—a bald gentleman—was disappointing. His attitude felt dismissive and unhelpful, which took away from the otherwise excellent atmosphere. Despite this, Sal De Riso remains a solid spot for indulgent desserts and quality coffee. If the entire service team matched the high standards set by the welcoming staff, the experience would have been flawless.

Sal de Riso is a sure bet, not just for desserts but also for savory dishes. We tried some excellent pasta and appetizers, and we finished with the majestic lemon delight cake.

5 stars all around ✨ Definitely give this a visit if you’re in the area. Food was incredible - we ordered pizza’s and there was such a good variety to choose from. Food was cooked to perfection. Not to mention they know how to make a very good Aperol Spritz. Finally we were served by a lovely gentleman. I wish I knew his name but he was an incredibly kind man from Ravello. Service was impeccable, we felt well looked after and welcomed. If you can manage more food after your main, they also have a wonderful dessert place inside - TikTok famous too!
Sophie A — Google review
Food looked good but we walked away because of the server in charge of seating and his manager. Picture attached. They allowed locals to hop the line. We waited 15+ mins only to continue waiting while others got seated. When I questioned why he’s doing that, he said he could only see with his eyes. He was clearly being dishonest. I spoke to his mgr Roberto who couldn’t care less. I said I’m going somewhere else and he wasn’t bothered. Both the server and manager are pointed out in the picture. This place should be ashamed treating its outside customers like 2nd class people. Goes without saying we left and found a different place - Gambardella - which was 2 mins walk down the street and way better in all respects.

Dessert shop
Pasticceria Pansa in Amalfi is a historic pastry shop and cafe that has been delighting visitors since 1830. This family-owned establishment, founded by Andrea Pansa, boasts five generations of proud leadership and was recognized as a historic landmark in 2001. The interior still retains its 19th-century decor and has welcomed storied clientele over the years.
An absolute gem in the heart of Amalfi! The pastries are exceptional – especially the lemon delights and sfogliatella, full of authentic flavor and beautifully presented. The historic atmosphere and location right next to the Duomo make it even more special. Service was friendly and efficient, even though it was busy. Yes, it’s a little pricey, but worth every cent for the quality and experience. A must-visit if you’re in Amalfi
Daniel C — Google review
Pansa Amalfi Café is a lovely spot with truly delicious pastries and ice creams — some of the best we tried in Amalfi. The quality and presentation of the sweets definitely make it worth a visit. The only downside was the drinks. Paying €8 for a simple cup of tea or coffee didn’t feel justified, though for the pastries it might be worth it. Still, it’s a beautiful café with great flavors and a must-try for the desserts.
ARI K — Google review
We absolutely loved the sfogliatella and delizia al limone here! The shop offers two options: one price for takeout and another if you sit outside for table service. When we visited, there was a live music show on the cathedral steps, so we grabbed our desserts to go and enjoyed them there. Both pastries were incredibly delicious, creamy, soft, and full of authentic Amalfi flavor. Now that we’re back in the United States, we find ourselves craving them all the time!
Akshat B — Google review
The place is quite busy, however the staff was very kind and friendly. The service is quick. They had many types of pastries and nice coffee, all ranged between 5-10€. We tried their tiramisu and croissant with some sort of bavarian cream. Both were very tasty. There aren't many places to sit, but the place is located right in the centre of Amalfi, in very close proximity to the bus station and the port.
Mariya V — Google review
Perhaps the best seat (and certainly the hardest to acquire) in Piazza Duomo....so worth it! Almost too many choices of the most scrumptious sweet & savory pastries, not to mention coffees, teas, beers, wines and cocktails. If no outside tables available, go inside - order/pay then take your treasures out to the square to enjoy the Fontana di Sant’Andrea, the Cathedral of St Andrew and the beauty and diversity of your fellow tourists and locals in a storybook setting!!!
Andrew W — Google review
I had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant. As Chinese customers, we immediately felt discriminated against by the way the waiter treated us. I wasn’t feeling well that day, so while my friends were leaving, I decided to stay a little longer and simply ordered a hot tea. The waiter noticed this and, without explanation, insisted that I change my seat with another guest. Both I and the other guest were comfortable where we were, and he clearly didn’t want to move either. Despite this, the waiter pressured us to switch tables, speaking to him in a way that left us no choice. The entire arrangement was extremely uncomfortable. Instead of treating us with basic respect as paying customers, the staff made us feel unwelcome and even pushed us to leave. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and left a very negative impression of the restaurant. The waiter is the person here in pic 2. She is super ra🌝ci .st

Everything was exceptional. The Delizia al Limone & Hazelnut Croissant were particularly outstanding. A must-stop for the best Amalfi Coast pastries.
Nika K — Google review
Yeah its the posh one but they are well placed, polite and do have a wide selection of very nice cakes! The lemon delight being their signature one apparently. We had a lovely yummy 30 minute people watching session here! We actually had asked for iced coffee but got cappucino - surprised they even made that being the afternoon and all.

Italian restaurant
Ristorante Giardiniello in Minori is a long-standing eatery that has been serving upscale seafood and pizzas since 1955. The restaurant is run by the Di Bianco and Celio family, with a historic chef, Giovanni Cozzolino, leading the kitchen for over a decade. Their traditional cuisine focuses on fish dishes while also offering meat options.
We stumbled upon Gardinello on our second night in Minori – and never tried another restaurant after that. The atmosphere is elegant and warm, the fish and meat dishes are fantastic, and the wine is simply sublime. Slightly more expensive than average, but worth every euro. Compliments to the team for a fantastic week.

One of the best places to dine in Minori for the food, ambiance, and service. The seafood pasta was fresh and addictive, the bread was warm and soft, and the calzone was perfectly balanced. Highly recommend coming, especially for dinner, for a romantic night out.

Gorgeous setting in the garden, great food, fine dining really. Lovely waiter. Anchovy gnocchi and lemon sea bass. So fresh! Lemon profiteroles delicious

Very nice outdoor seating. Food was pretty good. The fish in lemon sauce was delicious. The eggplant parmesan was ok and the fish of the day was very good but a little over priced. Saw a review saying they were charged for the limoncello but ours was free. Definitely recommend if you are a tourist!
Ava B — Google review
Really disappointing experience. Food was under seasoned and tasteless. We ordered the sea bass and octopus mains - the octopus was tasteless with a dull mash and soggy potato chips (for decoration?). The sea bass was one note with a basic lemon sauce and steamed green beans. Overall overpriced and definitely not worth 116 euros (including starters and wine). Honestly the best thing we ate was the bread and olive oil.

Day 2

Off the beaten path
For day 2, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Archaeological Park of Pompeii. Not quite as popular as Amalfi, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 8 hours.

The Archaeological Park of Pompeii is a remarkable site that preserves the remains of the ancient Roman city, which was buried under ash and lava during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. The vastness of the excavated ruins showcases the impressive extent of Roman civilization frozen in time. Rediscovered in 1599, detailed archaeological investigations began two centuries later, revealing a wealth of historical treasures.
The best thing we did in Italy! The archeological site of Pompeii is incredible. There is so much to see and do, we were blown away by how well preserved some of the murals are. It was fascinating! We would maybe consider doing a tour next time but loved walking around and exploring on our own. We bought our tickets onsite since we didn’t know what time we would arrive. We were lucky and only had to wait about 15 minutes in the line, but I would recommend getting them in advance if possible. We got the ticket that allowed access to the two additional villas and are glad we did. I would also recommend bringing snacks and a packed lunch as well as planning to spend at least 4 hours there. We can’t wait to come back.
Samantha S — Google review
This was one of the best experiences I have had. There is so much to see here. The guide we had was very nice and funny, I learned so much from her. We spent 2 hours here and it was nowhere near enough time to see everything. There are also a ton of stray cats that roam the ruins and a sweet dachshund that walks around and greets everyone near the entrance.
E — Google review
It's a fascinating archeological site to witness ancient Rome which was destroyed or buried in the volcanic ashes. I highly recommended to visit if you are near Naples or Sorrento. It's a massive place and well restored, still restoration work is ongoing. That said it's quite hard to tell some areas whether it's restored, or original. There are lots of information to take in and it's worth taking a tour guide as you would be lost without it because sign posts are very limited and it's like a maze. We had a tour guide of 20 people which was not very comfortable and personal. As only people in front gets a better understanding. I will suggest if you want a better experience choose less than 10 people in a tour. Plus, do not visit on a hot sunny day specially with a child. There is a very little shade, not many toilets, or water or cafe facilities for children. Please don't take any pram as pathways are not built for pram. Overall, it's a must see place, truly enriching experience, but not suitable or pleasant with a baby or young children.
Prashant S — Google review
It's pretty impressive, especially in size and scope. I would like to see more interpretive signs, so that more people can visit on their own, without a tours guide , and 20+ other tourists, and still get deep meaning from the site. I'm sure it wasn't as crowded as it could have been, like in summer, but it was still too crowded, especially with large groups, to see things individually and reflect on them. I recommend seeing Herculeneum instead. It is less than 25% in size than Pompeii and less crowded!
Econ E — Google review
Unbelievable archeological site. We could’ve easily spent the day exploring and looking at this place. I recommend at least a day if you’re into history as much as I am. If you’re not, then you can get through this place in half a day. Mind blowing to walk on floors from 2000 years ago, seeing their artwork from that period of time as well.
Lanster — Google review
Amazing. Simply mind blowing. And to think, if not for this terrible volcano, this ancient city would have been lost to history centuries ago. The restoration efforts are incredible. Definitely see this place with a guide so you don't miss small details and stories about the history.
Tiffany — Google review
A visit that transcends history itself! This isn't just an archaeological site; it's a perfectly preserved, vast Roman city frozen in a single, devastating moment. The sheer scale and detail—from the forum to the villas—are beyond comprehension. It is a profound, must-do pilgrimage for any history lover. The site is immense, so the guided visit, or third-party Audio Guide and Map were essential, ensuring an efficient and deeply informative exploration. Truly an unforgettable, life-altering historical experience.
Nika K — Google review
Amazing. And absolutely huge. We visited with teenagers, spent 3 hours there and only saw the tiniest fraction of the park. Its a huge contrast to Vesuvius. Really well catered for with plenty of spaces to sit if you've brought a picnic, clean toilets and places to refill your water bottle.

Mountains
Mount Vesuvius, an active volcano towering above the bay of Naples in Campania, is famous for its devastating eruption in 79 CE that buried the cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum in ash. These archaeological sites provide a vivid picture of society and daily life at that time.
I highly recommend visiting Mount Vesuvius! It's an incredible place with lush vegetation that adds charm to the area. The trail to the summit is well-maintained, but the path is quite animal-like and ascends uphill, taking about 40 minutes from the bus stop, while descending takes around 25-30 minutes. Up top, you can feel a distinct smell of chlorine. The trail is mostly dirt and quite steep, so be prepared for a bit of a hike. Along the way, there are plenty of spots to stop for a snack and a rest. There are also souvenirs available, making the trip even more enjoyable. The views from the top are breathtaking! This is a must-visit for nature and history enthusiasts. I will definitely come back again!
Deux M — Google review
Wow... climbing an active volcano... what an experience... spectacular views from the top, even a snack shop! We booked parking and drove to halfway up. Then got the shuttle bus, 3e each return (be prepared, they only take cash). Parking is interesting, but worked out well. From the entrance, it took us about 45mins to walk the rest of the way, but that was with two Kids in tow... it is steep, but worth it. Again, there are drink stops along the way, but mobile signal is hit and miss, so best to have cash. The only downside was the return shuttle bus... there is no official stop, so its a free for all trying to get back on one. Something off the bucket list.
Captain N — Google review
A nice experience, especially for nature lovers, history enthusiasts, and hikers. From the bus drop-off point to the summit, it's about a half-hour easy walk, the ascent is not too difficult. The view into the crater itself is not that impressive, but the bonus you get from the climb is the panoramic views of the Bay of Naples.
Kemal K — Google review
This was the second volcano I have climbed, the first being Etna. What can I say? First of all, I feel incredibly lucky that I managed to get the last three tickets for the day, sold right at the last minute! I was over the moon with happiness, as it has been a long-time dream of mine to come here, and I travelled all the way from Moldova to fulfill it. I was absolutely charmed by its beauty and imposing energy. This place charged me up for the next half a year! I am happy and deeply grateful for this wonderful day spent here. Nature lovers and explorers will certainly enjoy this experience. A few tips: I recommend buying tickets in advance—at least one or two days ahead. If you want to secure a specific day or time slot, book three to four days, or even a week, in advance. Today, October 19th, the temperature was quite warm. I was wearing jeans and a t-shirt and had a vest with me, which I took off during the climb. The trail from the entrance point to the crater is not long and is not complicated; even children can manage it. Vesuvius is a true gem of Italy and will forever remain in my heart.
Anastasia G — Google review
You have to park and pay the shuttle fee to get to the trail head, otherwise you walk the road itself to get to the hike. Very lose dirt/rocks on the path. Path is steep but worth the views! Wait to shop until you get to the summit, great hand made souvenirs and shirts/hoodies. Snacks and drinks available at 2 locations, trail head and summit.
Scott B — Google review
If driving up take care roads are poor and bus drivers are brutal . Honking horn beware and wait. Parking at top.Tourist outlets and refreshments available . One tourist was complaining as no Lava was visible. Really!!!! Must have thought it was Dante’s Peak . As the main attraction in Naples I would not miss it it’s unique and pretty awe inspiring.
William H — Google review
Booked online the coach from Pompeii railway station which takes about 45 mins to wind it's way up to the parking area at ~1,000m from where the walking starts. Toilets are available here though they are of the 'builders' variety and mostly are full by the end of the day. The walk is up a fairly steep gravel and ash pathway but it's plenty wide enough to stop and rest when needed. Up on the crater rim are several shops/bars selling souvenirs, beers, wine and more. The views would probably have been fantastic had we not been in thick cloud for all of our walking.
Mike T — Google review
It's Mt. Vesuvius. A historical mountain. For all the negative reviews: it's a mountain so, yes, it does have dirt, do your research ahead of time so you don't get stuck waiting at the top for tickets, and just enjoy yourself. The price goes to perserving the natural area.

(Translated by Google) Excellent experience. Very friendly staff and excellent pizza, the environment is spacious and welcoming. When you book a table it is left empty so that you don't have to wait. A small negative note is that it has happened that different people ordering different types of dishes (for example pizza + a second course), find themselves eating at different times, because not all courses arrive together at the same table. (Original) Ottima esperienza. Personale molto cordiale e pizza ottima, l'ambiente è spazioso e accogliente.

Day 3

Northeast side of town
For day 3, we recommend exploring the northeast side side of town. Start the day off with Pasticceria Sal De Riso, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Santuario Santa Maria a Mare. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Pasticceria Sal De Riso is a renowned pastry shop located in the municipality of Minori, known for its exquisite offerings that showcase the history of Mediterranean and Neapolitan gastronomy. The menu features a delightful fusion of sweet and savory flavors, with traditional dishes such as eggplant parmigiana, potato gateau, and homemade pasta. Salvatore de Riso, the owner, incorporates local ingredients like sfusato amalfitano into his pastry creations.
Might be a little more expensive than other random patisseries which are not so famous. But prices are really quite reasonable for their quality and location. Also very friendly and welcoming staff, even our dog got a free cookie!

The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the coffee was wonderful. Unfortunately, the prices were unreasonable, and for 4 desserts and 3 cups of coffee, we paid the equivalent of half a family lunch. Although everything was very tasty, one of the desserts felt a bit old and not fresh.

The best, most delicious and beautiful desserts the four of us I’ve ever had. Their pizza was good. Go to this place for the pastries you won’t be disappointed. I can’t explain, I don’t have the words to say just how good those pastries were. They weren’t epic! Look at the pics. They truly taste as good as look.

This place was recommended by our Italian cooking class hosts, and we’re glad we made the stop. The pastries were delicious and the service was great. The ricotta pear cake, in particular, is a must-try—light, delicate, and not overly sweet. It’s also worth stepping inside the shop to browse their full selection - there’s plenty to tempt you.

The place is a true paradise for dessert lovers. The pasticceria is large with a huge selection of cakes, pastries and other sweet treats for every taste. But the real king of the place is undoubtedly the lemon delight. I ate one and felt in seventh heaven. I couldn't resist and immediately ordered another one.

A trip to the Amalfi Coast without stopping in Minori for Sal De Riso would be a true sin! That's why we treated ourselves with a set of divine pastries. The Delicia Al Limone 'Costa d’Amalfi I.G.P' was nothing short of a poem written in pure lemon ink :P. Fresh, fragrant, a masterpiece kissed by the sun of Costa Amalfitana. As for the Sfogliatella Santa Rosa? Perfectly crisp on the outside, luxuriously creamy inside, like a hug from a Neapolitan nona, with a small yet super tasty ice scoop in its side. Sal De Riso truly lives up to its name: a masterpiece of sweetness and top notch service, as its crew was top-class, and an absolutely enchanting seaside view. For anyone around the Amalfi Coast, allow yourself to not just pass by Minori; Step inside and let your taste buds celebrate, hard wiring your brain with truly unforgettable tastes. As for the prices? Sal De Riso is worth every single cent of the (reasonable) bill you'll pay. Thank you to the whole team!!! You gave us a true journey within our latest journey in Italy! 🇮🇹

Everything we ordered as well as the service, was at the highest level. I'm sorry I forgot to take photos before starting eating. I wish I could stay in Minori for a month, to have the chance to try all of them 🤩.

I visited Sal De Riso in Minori during my trip to the Amalfi Coast. I went twice, once for lunch to try their desserts and again for a romantic dinner. The seafood pasta was full of flavor, the pizza was fresh and colorful, and the ravioli with pesto sauce was rich and perfectly balanced. Of course I had to try their famous Delizia al Limone. It was soft, lemony and absolutely unforgettable. The staff were warm and attentive, and the whole place had a peaceful elegant feel. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

Embark on an enchanting journey along the Path of the Lemons, a picturesque hiking trail that connects the towns of Minori and Maiori. This family-friendly route winds through lush lemon groves and offers breathtaking vistas of mountains and sea. The leisurely walk takes about an hour each way, providing ample opportunities to savor the tranquility of nature while admiring charming villages along the path.
A stunning, scenic walk connecting Maiori and Minori. You’ll be guided by well-marked arrows, getting lost isn’t an option. Along the way, expect charming encounters with local cats and the occasional donkey, plus warm offers of lemonade and lemon treats from locals. The path is steep and filled with stairs, with little to no shade, so bring water, wear sneakers, and avoid midday heat. A true Amalfi Coast gem, but be prepared for a bit of a workout.
Olga M — Google review
A wonderful afternoon activity for Amalfi Coast travelers! The path up will take your breath away both literally and figuratively - there are a lot of stairs but the views are spectacular. When you get to the top, be sure to enjoy a lemon spritz and a tour of a local lemon farm!
Megan M — Google review
Worth your time to walk this very beautiful path. We took the ferry from Salerno to Minori which was great. In Minori, we stopped at a great bakery just off the harbor, then hit the trail. There are lots of stairs on the path, but plenty of places to have a rest while you take in the views from above. We stopped at a small lemon farm and had delicious limoncello and lemon granita, plus we got to take a tour of the orchard itself. If you’re a geocacher, there are two on this trail. Sadly I didn’t find them, but that’s ok! The trail is just beautiful. When we got to Māori, we caught the return ferry to Salerno. All in all a perfect trip.

Walked this path in the pouring rain and still absolutely loved this hike! We started in Maiori and walked it towards Minori, the spots along it were closed and the lemons were green, but the views were beautiful and we enjoyed our time. It is a lot of steps, mostly going up, but there are loads of view point you can stop and rest at. Don’t skip it, definitely worth your time.

A lovely trail, very good way to explore Amalfi coast! Not many people, but a lot of stairs😅 We went from Maiori to Minori, and we think there was more uphill in this direction. But no regrets, we liked to end our trip in Minori, also got a chance to visit Ravello village which was amazing! The Lemon path takes more than 2 hrs if you’re taking photos of every single tree, just a note 😀 Oh and on your way there will be several lemon farms, each will offer some lemon desserts and drinks, and free entrance - so no urge to go for the first one you see there 😉 (Photos attached in reverse order, starting with Minori)

Absolutely worth taking the time out whilst staying in Maiori. It isn’t too much of a difficult trail, just a lot of steps to take up to the top. Beautiful views and well worth it, for the scenery alone.
L J — Google review
Unique walk amongst lemon and grapes terraces. Stop by one of the farms offering lemon juice and drinks along the way. 45 mins Minori to Maiori or the other way around. About 500 steps in total, pretty steep at the beginning and end but mostly flat in the middle.
Michele P — Google review
Highly underrated path, much much better than popular path of gods. There are some local people selling lemonade and lemons over the path, which makes the hike even more excitint. We got a homemade lemonade from a friendly old lady living in one of nearby houses over the path. That was the best lemonade I have drunk so far.

The Villa Romana e Antiquarium is a small Roman villa from the 1st century that has been well-preserved. It features frescoes and a central garden, as well as plumbing and wells that can be seen while roaming through the rooms. The original staircase can also be used to return upstairs. This museum is worth visiting given its size and close proximity to a train station. An online audio guide is available for visitors' use.
If you are visiting Minori the Villa Romana is a must see. Remarkable to see a Roman villa so far from Rome. Even then that Amalfi Coast had its allure.
Mark S — Google review
Looked old, but not very much. The environment is nice. Since we visited in the early morning, we did not get a chance to enter. The big vases looked great and interesting. But such vases are there in the main square of Minori as well. It is not clear if they are also of Roman origin.
Sumanta C — Google review
While it doesn't have the polish of some of the more famous Roman ruins in Italy, the Roman Villa in Minori is authentic and fascinating. There are many rooms that you can wander through and great interpretations of what it is thought it originally looked like. There are remnants of tiled artworks and frescos, and many artifacts. While there are few remaining Roman villas on the Amalfi coast, this one is in fairly decent shape. The accidental discovery of this villa was a lucky find. For people that enjoy ancient Roman architecture, I think you'll find this site fascinating.
Chris S — Google review
Small preserved Roman villa where you can actually roam amongst the rooms of the villa and see the plumbing and wells, etc., even take the original staircase back up. Not that big, but not bad given the size of Minori. Worth a few minutes while waiting for the next nes.

It might be worth looking for a local guide to get more information. The conservation of these ruins are impressive, but there isn't too much too explore. Well worth strolling through if you're just needing to walk off the cornetto you just ate. There's public parking not too far away from this location (free).

Very beautiful garden and there's always something going on at night! Our airbnb was just above it, and on our first night there was a free concert, and on subsequent nights, it seemed people would rehearse here for a play or something! And people would practice dancing too. It gave such a nice community feel of the town and we really enjoyed it!

An oasi if peace in the center of Maiori. Go and get your "Zen moment". The "wet" garden of the Mezzocapo villa. Every summer, the open cellars under the garden of Palazzo Mezzocapo - Maiori's town hall today - are filled with water. In other words, you walk on top of a large pool where there are small fountains in the open holes. The water means that the garden is fresh even in summer. There are art exhibitions in the garden every summer, and the photos are from a magical evening walk in the garden in the summer of 2023.

Bar Antares in the charming town of Minori offers a versatile experience, whether you're in the mood for coffee, an aperitivo, a full meal, or some ice cream. Situated at the heart of town, it's perfect for people-watching. The owners are friendly and serve the best cappuccino in town. The restaurant provides unpretentious outdoor seating on the main square and offers fresh and tasty food at good prices.
Antares Restaurant is in a very nice location in Minori town. We stayed in this town for 4 nights and spent around 10 minutes there but we had dinner at Antares restaurant the other night. Why? Because they had very delicious food and smiling staff. Pasta, offal, seafood and pizzas were great. Their local red wine was legendary. We even took a bottle with us on the last day. Of course I can't pass without mentioning Andrea. A wonderful smiling face. Always interested and service knows no bounds. So as you can see, if you happen to be in Minori, don't forget to stop by here... Thank you Antares THANK YOU ANDREA....🙏🙏🙏🙏

The staff are good, view very nice, drink was not bad, limoncello spritz was not fresh too not tasty, ordered onother drinks , was good. but the food not at all. I ordered vegetarian pizza which had tomato sauce cheese and on top fried cubes of eggplant, very oily , doesn’t not delicious, not fresh at all , was like frozen pizza you buy from grocery not the pizza you order from a resto in minori which is more expensive! I even couldn’t finished it and felt full after 2slices. Very bad experience for food.

There are two Antares restaurants in the same square, the father's where I met the nicest gent/owner and his Son's place next door. At dad's I had a super delicious pizza, in fact my wife's favorite in all of Italy there for lunch and promised Dad I'd go back for dinner at his son's later that evening. And what a meal we had, great seafood, large portions and so affordable (no joke 1/3rd the price of a Positano restaurant that was similar and not better!) maybe the best meal I had on the coast (& I had some very good food in and around Minori!) At the end of the meal I met the Son and just like his dad made us feel right at home, even though the restaurant was hoppin' busy! Great location for both in the little square right across from the Minori Pier, Thanks again for the hospitality and an amazing Lunch & dinner !

Bar Antares, which I believe is now called Ristobar Janeiro, was a great stop. It was recommended to us by the owners of our AirBnB. We had a delicious bottle of white wine, two delicious pasta dishes, Branzino and a pizza. Service was friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. The city really comes alive in the evening with dinner not really picking up until around 8:30 in the evening. Thanks for a great dinner!!

We stumbled across this gem as we travelled through Amalfi to Minori. An absolute coincidence. We came for lunch, and it was so peaceful and quiet. Our server, Giovanni, was so kind and did his best to speak in English, definitely brush up on your Italian. He was attentive to our needs as I am anaphylactic to tree nuts. Upon arriving, he brought us a “welcome” amuse bouche, and the we ordered. The Eggplant parmigiana was delicious, and my fiancé ordered the seafood pasta, which was delicious. Overall, the location was delightful, bright whites and beautiful atmosphere. The food was delicious, definitely recommended.

My wife and I came here for our 24th wedding anniversary, and it was wonderful. The service was attentive but not pushy, and the waiter made a wonderful wine recommendation (which was not the most expensive wine). We had the chef’s tasting menu, which was five courses (plus an amuse bouchè). Every course was great. A perfect place for a special dinner.

The service was impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who expertly guided us through the menu. Each dish was a burst of flavors, prepared with fresh and high-quality ingredients. The homemade pasta was divinely al dente, and the rich, flavorful sauces showcased the chef's culinary expertise. The carefully selected wine perfectly complemented our meal, adding an extra touch of sophistication to our evening. The adjacent hotel adds a touch of beauty and charm to the overall experience. Its elegant architecture and well-maintained gardens create an idyllic setting that invites relaxation and contemplation. Whether for a romantic dinner or a special celebration, Ristorante Garum is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to savor authentic Italian cuisine in an enchanting setting. Although it is not a michelin restaurant it needs to be. To begin, we were attended to right away and sat within minutes. Our server was very attentive, he explained where the ingredients came from and what was local. Our drinks were phenomenal and if we could we would've ordered more but it was late. The main dish for me and my partner were fresh, delicious and presented beautifully. The crowd was not loud and everyone seemed to be enjoying their time there. When we finished dinner we asked front desk for a golf cart service back to our airbnb and although the attendant called 3 services none were available so he decided to drive us himself. During the five minute drive and we found out he knew our local tour guide from the day before. That's one of the best things about the area, everyone knows each other and they're here to make your experience the best. Beyond 5 star service! Grazie!

Very nice location. The foods were okey, we ordered salad and seafood pasta, both were good but had small portions. They welcome us quickly but after sitting, we waited 30+ mins for the foods, and we also had to wait for the bill and even at the counter we had to wait for the staff/owner to go around chatting with people then came back and gave us the machine for credit card.

Cosy place in Maiori. Walked few steps from the beach. A wide variety of local dishes and very good sea-food. I suggest paccheri allo scoglio and salt cooked fish. White wine is a must once there, let you advice by waiters. The place is very nice, especially at dinner. Staff and owners were very charming and they helped us choosing what to eat and drink. Very satisfied and I will get here again.

The service was terrible. NEVER GO THERE TO EAT!!! If you don’t want to waste a lot of time and money for nothing, choose another restaurant. We waited for 1.5 hours for a disappointing risotto and a very small portion of fish (we even asked if the portion was big, and the waiter said yes). When we pointed this out, the waiter just argued with us and laughed at us. We spent about €60 for nothing. Everything was awful.

We just left this poorly run restaurant and want to save everyone from going there with this review. We have never been more disappointed in a restaurant in our entire time in Italy. The place was full of patrons when we walked up plus it was raining. We told the man trying to get us to sit inside that we were willing to wait a couple of minutes for an outside table under the tent to open up. After about 20 minutes he found us a table. We noticed that two ladies had been sat just before us. We waited longer than we thought we should for the waiter to ask for our drink order but he brought the fairly quickly. Then it was as if our waiter completely forgot about us. We watched table after table (four to be exact) being sat after us and they were served drinks, appetizers and their dinner while we continued to wait for our meals to be served. All the while the two ladies waited as well. The mixed fish grill finally arrived tough and rubbery with very little taste to it. We had finished our meals when the ladies behind us finally received their appetizers. That was one hour and 30 minutes from the time they ordered their food. I heard our waiter say to them their dinner should be out in just a minute as there was some problem with it. It finally arrived and they had ordered their food same mixed fish grill as we did. The ladies finally complained to the manager about the taste/size of the plate and time it took to get their meal served to them. He told them their meal was completely fine and blamed them for taking so long to order. We overheard their entire exchange with manager with the waiter standing next to him. I was disgusted by the managers lack of acknowledgment of the long wait, the other patrons being served before them and his total disregard of dissatisfaction being voiced in his waiters service levels. I had enough so I chimed in by saying to our waiter that it was not right that these ladies had to wait for 5 other tables to be served before they received their meal and that the least they could do was acknowledge that and possibly comp one of their meals or something. Our waiter after taking care of us all evening in English had the nerve to say to me "I don't speak English." It was shocking and rude. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

As frequent visitors to Maiori from the U.S., one of our most anticipated stops is always Masaniello’s. This family-run restaurant has become a mandatory part of every trip—a place that consistently exceeds expectations while preserving the heart and soul of authentic Italian dining. What makes Masaniello’s stand out is the perfect harmony between tradition and innovation. The young, talented chef—son of the family—brings a fresh and creative touch to the kitchen, while other family members ensure the service and atmosphere run smoothly. It’s this dynamic that makes each visit feel like coming home. The menu is a showcase of the Amalfi Coast’s bounty, especially its fresh seafood. A highlight of the experience is the ability to choose your own fish from the day’s catch, which is then brought to your table for approval before being prepared. The dishes range from traditional homemade Italian classics to modern interpretations that never feel forced—just fresh, thoughtful, and always delicious. We’ve sampled many offerings over the years, and every single dish has been exceptional. The atmosphere at Masaniello’s is cozy and romantic, perfect for couples and special occasions, while being able to include families to large business parties. We once saw the staff thoughtfully place roses on a table ahead of a couple’s arrival, having been requested in advance. It’s this kind of personal touch that speaks volumes about their commitment to hospitality. The staff is warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making your experience unforgettable. They’re happy to answer any questions—whether it’s about the preparation of a dish or selecting the perfect wine. We’ve often relied on their recommendations, giving them our budget and trusting their judgment—and we’ve never been disappointed. In short, Masaniello’s is a must-visit when in Maiori. Whether it’s your first time on the Amalfi Coast or your tenth, this restaurant captures the heart of Italian dining—flavorful, heartfelt, and entirely unforgettable.

It was our first trip to Maiori, judging by the line to get into Masinello’s we went in! Food was fantastic, service was quick. Vincenzo the owner was very attentive to us and all his customers. We went in back several times during our stay. Enjoy …. Maria and Aggie from Toronto!

Ristorante Torre Normanna offers a unique dining experience in a 13th-century watchtower, where guests can savor delicious Mediterranean cuisine. The restaurant is led by chef Giuliano Donatantonio, known as "capitanare fornelli," and boasts a terrace with stunning views of the sea and mountains. Located in Maiori on the Amalfi Coast, this historic setting adds to the charm of enjoying a meal while taking in the picturesque surroundings.
I booked the whole restaurant/beach for the day after my wedding and I cannot recommend it enough. The food was absolutely incredible. Unbelievably good. The location is like being on a movie set. Being able to jump into the stunning sea was amazing. The staff were so kind and accommodating. Emiliano (the owner) even helped us organize transport for all our guests (100 people) from Ravello and recommended someone to set up speakers for us. It was one of the best days of my life.

7 Sept 24 - A Fairytale Wedding at Torre Normanna – Truly Unforgettable We couldn’t have imagined a more magical place to celebrate our wedding than Torre Normanna on the Amalfi Coast. It was straight out of a movie – perched on a cliff, surrounded by the sea, golden sunlight dancing on the waves, and the timeless charm of a medieval watchtower. The setting alone is breathtaking, but what truly made the experience unforgettable were the four incredible brothers who run this gem of a venue. From the very first visit, they made us feel like family. Warm, professional, and genuinely passionate about what they do, they took care of every detail with love and precision. Whether it was customizing the menu, arranging last-minute changes, or orchestrating the entire evening seamlessly – they went above and beyond every step of the way. The food? Absolutely divine. A celebration of local flavors, beautifully presented and served with elegance. Our guests are still talking about it weeks later! This wasn’t just a wedding – it was a dream brought to life. If you're considering getting married on the Amalfi Coast, Torre Normanna is where fairytales come true. A stunning location, impeccable service, and four brothers who will make your heart melt with their kindness and hospitality.

Our wedding in May at Torre Normanna was an absolute dream come true. From start to finish, the entire day was nothing short of spectacular, and the location itself is arguably one of the most beautiful places on the Amalfi Coast. Our day began with a picture-perfect ceremony on a level by the sea, followed by a champagne reception that truly amazed us and all of our guests. The buffet was incredibly generous and featured an unbelievable array of food, from the freshest seafood and incredible cured hams to delicious pizza, and perfectly cooked meats. Following the reception, we were treated to an amazing sit-down meal. We started with a delicate and flavorful lobster ravioli, followed by a main course of salt-crusted sea bass, both of which were cooked to perfection. As the sun set, the celebration moved to the roof terrace for the grand finale. A decadent dessert buffet was laid out, complete with music, dancing, and a stunning fireworks display that lit up the sky. Beyond the incredible food and magical atmosphere, the staff were a highlight of the day. They were not only incredibly friendly but also professional, ensuring every detail was perfect and that the entire day flowed seamlessly. Torre Normanna gave us a truly unforgettable, fairytale wedding. We cannot recommend this venue highly enough. If you are looking for a place to create picture-perfect memories, look no further.

This Restaurant is a gem among gems in a Watch Tower from the 14th century. This location with all its history and the food was quite spectacular. From the moment we arrived for my wife’s birthday lunch we were greeted by Daniele. He offered us the best table with the most spectacular views one could only imagine. The food was spectacular in every respect from the appetizer to the main course and desert. Daniele and staff were very kind and professional and also sang happy birthday to my wife. This restaurant will be a must when we return to visit Italy again. This is one you do not want to miss !!

My husband, my daughter Victoria, and I were there on our last night of our vacation and had a fantastic time! Manager Anna was so helpful and helped us to find the best table on the terrace with the most fantastic view, the food presentation was stunning and tasted unforgettable! We’ve had the best service, everyone was so extremely helpful and attentive to us and the our baby. The chef made the most delicious meal for her and a special baby friendly dessert, which was so very sweet, it melted our hearts. It was a truly unique and unforgettable experience! We would love to come back for our next special occasions. Absolutely recommend this beautiful restaurant! Thank you to everyone from the restaurant staff for all the attention and love ❤️ we will remember you for ever

Come here for the atmosphere! The dishes were ordered were just okay. We wanted it love them but they really lacked flavor unfortunately. The service seemed aloof and as if they weren’t interested in helping us. We had to ask for recommendations and weeent introduced to any menu items or specials and had to navigate it all ourselves with little help. The restaurant itself exudes charm and is amazing dining space you don’t want to miss.

We recently had our wedding at Torre Normanna, and it was an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make our day special. Emiliano, in particular, was incredibly responsive and kind, ensuring every detail was taken care of. The food was absolutely incredible, exceeding our expectations in both quality and quantity. We actually received more than what we ordered, which was a delightful surprise. The atmosphere of the venue was perfect—elegant and welcoming, creating the ideal backdrop for our celebration. Although we had initially planned to use our bouquets as table decorations, the venue surprised us by providing beautiful flowers for each table. This thoughtful gesture added an extra touch of charm to our reception. One of the most remarkable aspects of our experience was that we had never seen the space in person before our wedding day. When we finally did, we were blown away—it was even more stunning than the pictures we had seen. The entire team was incredibly patient, not only with us but also with our family members, ensuring everyone felt comfortable and well taken care of. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or a more dedicated team. Torre Normanna made our wedding day everything we dreamed it would be and more. Highly recommend!

A short story of peculiar kindness. I went for dinner with my finace at this beautiful restaurant. We had a full fish menu, food is delicious and beautifully served with attention to detail and finesse. But my heart was warmed by the following events. I happened to forget my credit card at the restaurant when I payed and I didn’t notice until two weeks later. The owner was so kind to save it for me and deliver it back to me with kindness. I will never forget this kindness and i will most definitely will be back many times. THANK YOU ❤️

The Duomo of Saint Mary of the Assumption, also known as the Ravello Cathedral, is a historic church with a rich heritage. Built in 1086 by order of the first Ravello bishop, Orso Papirio, it boasts unique decorative features including mosaics and sculptures.
The Duomo of Saint Mary of the Assumption in Ravello is an absolutely stunning backdrop for a wedding photoshoot. I had the privilege of capturing magical moments in front of its historic facade, surrounded by the charm and elegance of Ravello's timeless beauty. Nice for a quick trip from Amalfi via bus. The square has some good cafes. Lovely views and relaxing atmosphere.
Aakriti B — Google review
The Duomo of Saint Mary is a decent cathedral, but it definitely fell short of my expectations. The cathedral area was pretty large and had some unique character. However, the walls were mostly white with little artwork. There was also a museum with old empty sarcophaguses, church artifacts, and sculptures dating back to the 13th century. It was a good experience, but it didn’t blow me away. If you’re in the area, I would recommend going to the nearby Amalfi Cathedral instead. It’s the same price (4 euros) and it blows this cathedral away in size and ornateness.

The duomo of Ravello is quite beautiful, yet the least interesting sight in the village. The most important part are the mosaic covered pulpits inside.

I really enjoyed this church. It is not overly decorated and is in fact quite austere. There are two beautiful pulpits covered with mosaics with Arabic influence. The bronze church door is also spectacular. The museum of the church has some beautiful objects.

This architectural gem boasts 120 columns and houses religious artifacts and the tombs of prominent Italians from the Campania region. The cloister features lush greenery with bushes and palm trees, creating a serene atmosphere for visitors to explore.

In the heart of Amalfi, a hidden gem of tranquil beauty emerges—the Chiostro del Paradiso, a cloister that transcends mere architectural marvel to become a sanctuary of the soul. As we enter this sacred oasis, let us explore its intricate details, where the technical and the poetic converge in a harmonious dance. Design and Layout: The Chiostro del Paradiso is a cloister of graceful proportion, an architectural symphony of symmetry and serenity. It follows the classic form of a quadrilateral, with a central courtyard graced by a lush garden. Cloister walkways, supported by slender columns, envelop the garden like loving arms, offering both shelter and an open embrace to visitors. Columns and Capitals: The cloister's columns are carved from the same local limestone that characterizes Amalfi's architecture. Each column rises with a slender grace, their capitals adorned with intricate foliage and geometric patterns, akin to a choir of voices singing in stone. These capitals, like botanical manuscripts, whisper secrets of the natural world. Archways and Vaults: As one walks through the cloister, the archways form a rhythmic procession, guiding the eye and the soul. Above, the vaulted ceilings, adorned with delicate frescoes, are a celestial canvas that tells stories of saints and miracles. The arches and vaults create a sense of harmony and balance, inviting contemplation and reflection. Garden and Flora: The central garden is a verdant paradise, a microcosm of the natural world's splendor. Here, citrus trees, fragrant with blossoms, offer shade and a gentle fragrance that lingers in the air. Roses, like the blush of youth, climb trellises, and vibrant bougainvillea spills over the walls, creating a palette of colors that mirror the Mediterranean. Fountain and Waterscape: At the heart of the garden, a serene fountain glistens with crystal-clear waters. Its soothing murmur is a backdrop to quiet contemplation, a symphony of liquid notes that dances in the air. The play of sunlight on the water's surface creates a shimmering mosaic of reflections. Statuary and Sculpture: Amidst the greenery, sculpted saints and biblical figures stand sentinel. Their faces bear expressions of serenity and grace, their forms a testament to the skill of the craftsmen. These statues seem to come alive in the dappled light, as if they, too, partake in the cloister's timeless reverie. The Chiostro del Paradiso is more than an architectural wonder; it is a sanctuary of the senses, where the technical and the poetic converge to create a place of serenity and spiritual awakening. It is a testament to the enduring power of design, nature, and the human spirit to create spaces that transcend the ordinary and touch the divine. In its tranquil embrace, we find not just a cloister, but a glimpse of paradise itself—a testament to the harmonious coexistence of art, architecture, and the natural world.

The Basilica of Saint Trofimena is a historic cathedral located just steps away from the beach in Minori. Dating back to the 11th century, it was reconstructed in the 19th century and features a restored crypt containing the remains of Saint Trofimena, the town's patron saint. The basilica also boasts a stunning 12th-century Campanile that overlooks the town from high among lemon groves.
Looks beautiful from the outside, I did not get to go inside, because they are closed in the afternoon from 12:30 to 4 PM approximately.

It's a nice church, yes. However, the ringing and ringing and RINGING of the bells is ridiculous. We're staying at a BnB across the square and they keep ringing the bells for 10 minutes without stopping. I don't mind bells. But ten minutes is simply too much. Not needed.

Adjacent to the church is the Museo degli Arredi Sacri, perfect for those interested in sacred art.

This castle is a hidden gem on the Amalfi Coast. There is no entrance fee but you can leave a tip for restauration/maintenance. Upon entrance you are greeted by Alfredo, an extremely nice and enthousiastic guide who will proudly show you how his family has restored the castle over four generations. Alfredo turned different levels of the castle to a beautiful garden with fruit, vegetables, and some animals. Afterwards, he even gave us some limoncello that his wife made! This is definitely one of the few genuine experiences I had in this area, and would highly recommend it! Note that there is a staircase starting on the main road in Maiori for pedestrians. This staircase is not visible on Maps, but you can find it on other hiking apps.

During our stay in southern Italy, we visited Naples, Pompeii, Positano, Minori, Maiori and Amalfi. This was by far our best memories of our trip! Alfredo was absolutely delightful to converse with, despite the language barrier. The views were breathtaking, and we got to feed bunnies and sample the best limoncello we’ve had in Italy. Entry is free, and you can make as big a donation as you want and we had the castle to ourselves! There is an audio explanation of the castle’s history you can have by scanning a QR code. If you pass by Maiori, do come by this amazing piece of history. The climb is so worth it.

Santa Maria de Olearia, also known as Catacombe di Badia, is a remarkable site located on the SS 163/Via Diego Tajan. Carved out of a solid cliff face, this extraordinary place began as a shrine in the 10th century and later transformed into a monastery in the 11th century. Visitors can arrange a visit through the Town Hall in Maiori. The location offers breathtaking views and is perfect for those seeking peace and history.
We stayed here in October and it was glorious! We realized when we arrived in Maiori we had no idea how to get to the Badia so after a quick email to the hotel, they informed us of their shuttle options and even booked a private taxi for us. It may be off the beaten path, but their shuttle service will take you to and from the Badia at certain times during the day and night! There is a bus stop right in front but we don’t care for using the bus lol. The view is to die for! The breakfast was delicious with many options for picky eaters, the staff is wonderful and so accommodating for anything you ask for! We truly enjoyed our stay and wish we had stayed longer!

My husband and I just recently stayed here for a night on our honeymoon and can't stress enough how great and unique this place is. From the arrival in the taxi Vincenzo, at the front desk, talked to our taxi driver for us to help find exactly where to drop us off. When we arrived we were welcomed with drinks and ushered up to the overlook to enjoy the breathtaking view. Once we were finished with our drinks we changed and went back to the lobby to take their complementary shuttle to Maiori for dinner. It was very nice not to have to worry about calling a taxi for once during our trip. At the end of the night we were finished before the shuttle was scheduled to pick up so we called the front desk and they offered to come get us early. The hotel was decorated with so much thought to preserve it's history while also modernizing it for guests experience. There was AC, a mini bar, slippers, robes, and plenty of toiletries for our use. We had a lovely complimentary breakfast in the cave overlooking the coast and when we were ready to head out they were able to schedule us a nice taxi to our next location. We will be raving about our experience for a long while!

My husband and I stayed here for a week on honeymoon. Absolutely loved it, Vincenzo was super helpful and gave us lots of tips and his English is excellent. Italo was a sweetheart and even though his English was minimal he was so accommodating and tolerant of my terrible Italian! If you want peace, history and insane views, this is the place for you. Be mindful that it is not for the faint hearted so if you are scared of heights or want to be in walking distance of amenities, this is not for you. There is parking but you need balls of steel to drive round there! The hotel provide a shuttle into Maiori 5-6 times a day which is a 10 minute drive with access to a great beach club, restaurants, ferry and buses. There is also a bus stop directly outside. We were bed and breakfast only so can’t comment on dinner but there was lots of great choice for breakfast. An incredibly unique venue and we had the best time.

This quaint location was perfect for our first stop in Amalfi. We were able to escape the hectic cities and relax w daily glasses of Prosecco and cappuccinos with one of the best views in the region. The shuttle made visiting town super convenient (and cheap!). Taxis can be very expensive so having a shuttle was a game changer. They also upgraded us to the nicest room when they heard it was our honeymoon. The staff was delightful as well. Cannot recommend enough.
Megan S — Google review
Really cool and historic hotel. Staff (Vincenzo) and others are great!! Minimal amenities but has a great breakfast with insane views. Try not to bring a car there, although there is a small parking area 100m down the road and it’s a death walk to the hotel. Overall I loved this place. It’s over 1000 years old but he modern conveniences like USB outlets, A/C, up to date bathroom, fridge in room etc. It’s not in a city and nothing is walking accessible, but they run a few shuttle to Maiori a few times a day, and from there you’re connected to other cities. Also has a bus stop out front.

(Translated by Google) Obviously, my vote was provocative. Today, the sea was a cesspool, the beach a receptacle of cigarette butts and other trash, and to top it all off, the stench of sewage was stomach-churning. The Cetara tower has nothing to do with it; it's the usual spectacle. I hope that the local authorities, instead of thinking about raising parking fees, will also take steps to keep this situation under control. (Original) Ovviamente voto provocatorio.

(Translated by Google) The tower dominates the small village of Cetara, a gem easily reached by sea thanks to the taxi boat service (ferries). Traveling by car is not recommended. The seaside village is centered on the main street, lined with shops and restaurants, yet, compared to the coastal towns, it still seems untouched by mass tourism. Buying the anchovy colatura is a must!

Libeccio ristorante bar is a family-owned restaurant with a wonderful view of the beautiful church. The atmosphere is authentic and not touristy, offering a genuine Italian dining experience. Giuseppe, the friendly host, provides detailed explanations of the menu options and available fresh fish. The handmade ravioli with meat sauce and tuna with spaghetti are highly recommended dishes at reasonable prices.
I cannot understand why everyone is so critical. This little restaurant is in the square right next to the church. We were a party of 6 and we ordered appetizers, salad to share, cocktails, wine, 6 entrees and 6 desserts. Our cost was €270 or less than €50 per adult. No regrets. The waiter was attentive and charming. His mother was running the kitchen in back. The food was delicious and we left nothing on the plate. Lemon cream pasta was amazing! The homemade cakes were to die for. Don’t listen to the naysayers. Just go into it knowing this is off the beaten path. Relax and stop explicating Michelin star food everywhere you go on the Amalfi coast. Some of these smaller places are hidden gems. Enjoy!

I really wanted to like this place, despite it being low rated (I didn’t read the reviews though before going). I was really hoping to honestly write a good review and help bring more people to this restaurant. But this is such a shame. Wow… No wonder the place seats empty when every other place around is buzzing with people enjoying their meals. I wasn’t overcharged: paid exactly the price from the menu. But I still feel ripped off and fooled. C’mon, 12.5€ for this “Caprese”?! (See the pictures) It was literally just a cut tomato and a piece of mozzarella, with a few basil leaves. Not even a bit of olive oil! Wow.. Honestly, just shocked. It almost feels like an assault. Lemon sauce on pasta was good (but nothing outstanding) and Bolognese sauce was also not bad. However, the pasta itself by no means a home made (as was claimed)! For these two pasta dishes and a “Caprese salad” and a glass of wine I paid 54€. It would be a good price for a good dinner, but not for this. (Note: we ordered a take out dinner)

First night in Minori and found this perfect restaurant. Was recommended the lemon pasta by the waiter and it did not disappoint. Such a great flavour, washed down with a cold peroni. Fantastic evening and will be going back again while I’m here.

The linguine with minced prawns (pictured) was 18.50 euro. It had very little prawns in it. "Big salad" was 9 euros and was actually small. We also ordered an omellete with cheese, not pictured as it looked completely basic. Overall, the value for money at this restaurant is not there. You will find more value for your money elsewhere. Would not recommend.

I avoid leaving negative reviews but our last dinner in Minori unfortunately was here and it was such a disappointment. We were hungry early so we went and the waiter was incredibly welcoming. We asked for one order of caprese after debating between the bruschetta and that and he suggested he would let us try a small portion of the bruschetta as well. The caprese came on two plates but we thought he just split it up for us. The bruschetta was okay, not great, but we thought it was free. The pasta came and the pomodoro smelled like Chef Boyardee. The menu claims the pasta is homemade but it is definitely not. At the end he came to the table with a small piece of paper and handwritten notes that we couldn’t read claiming the bill was 90 euros. We didn’t understand where the cost came from as they didn’t match the menu and he had charged us for the bruschetta and two orders of the caprese. Avoid this restaurant at all costs. We had much better meals for less.

Avoid at all costs. We were lured by the kind man at the front but I wish we listened to the reviews. The food was not edible - it looked good but the taste was terrible. The tomato pasta and bruschetta used canned tomato that did not taste fresh or good AT ALL. The actual pasta wasn’t good. This was the worst pasta I’ve ever had. And I never get unappetized by pasta - so this is saying a lot. At the end, he tried to overcharge us. It’s very disappointing and sad. Please do not go here, it’s a tourist trap.

Minori, with its charming coastal charm, is a delightful destination. However, our recent dining experience at a restaurant near the church was a little bit disappointment. While the food was undeniably tasty and the service was attentive, the exorbitant prices left us feeling overcharged and underwhelmed. Drawn in by a friendly host (he is very nice, tho), we decided to give this establishment a try. The ambiance was pleasant, and the menu offered a variety of local specialties. Unfortunately, when the bill arrived, we were shocked by the astronomical cost. The prices seemed disproportionate to the quality and quantity of the dishes served. While we appreciate the efforts of the staff and the delicious flavors, we cannot overlook the fact that we felt taken advantage of. It's a shame that such a beautiful town like Minori is home to establishments that prioritize profit over customer satisfaction. We would advise future visitors to be cautious and perhaps explore other dining options in the area.

Wonderful view of the beautiful church. Very very delicious lemon linguine. The lemoncello offered at the end of the meal is *NOT* free, come to find out. Also my bottle of wine came opened already, so I felt that was disingenuous. Just bring me a half carafe of house wine, and charge fairly. Don’t pretend! Lemon dessert was disappointing. Bill was handwritten with price, but not itemized. (Just a tally of numbers). Got a great tan in the courtyard!

Italian restaurant
Da Maria is a classic Italian restaurant and pizzeria located on the main street of Amalfi. The rustic dining room with vaulted ceilings offers a charming atmosphere to enjoy traditional local seafood dishes and excellent pizza. Chef Salvatore Milano's expert hands bring an original twist to Amalfi cuisine, with must-try dishes like fish soup and genovese sauce.
We sat outside and it was perfect. We got there a little early because if you come anytime after 630, you'll be waiting in line to get a table. It books up fast. We ordered chicken and ravioli and they were great. We also got the pizza. I didn't like the tiramisu because it had a thick layer of thick cream on top rather than soaked in coffee in the dough. Overall 5/5

A very high-quality restaurant, fresh and high-quality ingredients, very nice and kind waiters. The portions are large and satisfying, the steak with cherry tomatoes and Parmesan is incredibly delicious, the grilled fish is also highly recommended! Clean and tidy restrooms. The only complaint is that it was hot inside and they didn't turn on the air conditioners. The coolers they did have were set to 26 degrees, which is not enough in the summer heat. Other than that, it's highly recommended ✨

It’s really delicious in the town! We wueyed for few min then we got a seat! Very crowded, It’s spacious inside. They served the food really fast after we ordered. I like spaghetti with shrimp, pizza and fried seafood! We were very satisfied with the meals 👍🏻

Recommended by my host, this is a very Italian trattoria. Seafood was fresh especially the mussels. Their focaccia started was so good that I finished up n didn’t even take a photo.. we ordered the Tramonti pizza which is just as tasty as their pasta. A little pricey but you’re in Almalfi.. 🤪 Tried their limoncello, it really gave me the kick! Hahaha. They were so sweet that they gave us a shot of lemon slush at the end of the meal. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

If you’re ever in Amalfi, Da Maria is like going back in time to a traditional Italian Trattoria. The place has a real buzz and ambiance and was extremely busy on a Wednesday evening! We waited about 10 minutes for a table for two and we were shown to our table but who I think appeared to be the owner. We ordered the Prosciutto Crudo with Melon for starter and for mains we had the Chicken in lemon sauce and potatoes and the Fettuccine with Bolognaise sauce, we also shared the Tiramisu dessert. The food here was simply superb, and priced very reasonably. The service from the staff is top tier, they’re used to being busy with a lot of clientele from different cultures /backgrounds! If you’re in Amalfi, make sure you reserve a table at Di Maria!

A fabulous place to eat in Amalfi. Amazing staff works well together to be sure you have all you need! Food is fresh. Great selection. We had pizza and side of grilled vegetables. Enjoy! Get there at 6:30 when they open if you are hungry. Always a line. ( For a good reason!)😃

I spent nine days in southern Italy and I have to say the best pizza I had was the one from this location in Amalfi. Absolutely delicious, not dripping fat, and you can taste pure fresh ingredients and it was super tasty. I gave four stars because they were skimpy on the air conditioner. It was really hot. They should have better air conditioning in the location. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place if you’re in for an authentic purely tasty Italian-style pizza, especially if you are in the Amalfi area.

Must try , very nice food with big portions, if you are asian girl , i believe you will shared dish with your friend. i love it tho! Staff run queue by remember the face of customers who come first, but after lot of queue customers need to arrange their queue by themselves.

Babel Wine Bar Bistrò & Art is a modern restaurant located on the Amalfi Coast, offering a serene escape with a casual and youthful vibe. The place prides itself on serving simple yet exceptionally well-prepared food, including stand-alone dishes and sharing platters of cured meats and cheeses paired with well-chosen Campania wines.
Huge Recommendation!!!! The best pasta and the best service I’ve ever had. The staff is friendly and every dish is in decent size. We took: Green salad with orange, lemon, blue cheese and caramelized balsamic sauce. Shrimp & calamari ravioli Paste with porcini mushrooms. Peach cheese cake dessert (a must)

Italian home cooking at its finest! We've visited a total of 5 times over our last 2 trips to Ravello and can't wait to return again. Some of our favorite dishes are Lasagna, lemon pasta, mushroom pasta, and meatballs. The desserts are also amazing. Thank you so much Nicola for your hospitality and incredible food!

Outstanding! We’re already planning our return. The bruschetta and pasta dishes were absolutely delicious, the wines were fantastic, and our waiter’s service was exceptional. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
Reiltin H — Google review
A real hidden gem in Ravello serving simple, authentic Italian food. We started with the bruschetta topped with burrata, confit tomatoes and pistachio pesto – absolutely superb. The pastas of the day all sounded tempting, but we chose the creamy lemon pasta and the creamy zucchini pasta, both of which were outstanding. Fresh flavours, generous portions and a relaxed atmosphere made this a memorable meal.

The food here is simply perfect. Instead of Marina Grande in Amalfi, this place deserves the Michelin plaque in the future. We didn’t even plan on having dessert, but since everything was flawless, we couldn’t resist – and we’re glad we didn’t. This is Italian cuisine at its absolute best.
Peter C — Google review
Would give more stars if I could. Just a few minutes walk from the main square, you can find this gem run by a welcoming local. The food is outstanding and probably the best in Ravello. It is quite a bit more expensive than other Italian establishments, but worth it.
Jade G — Google review
Best Italian food we have had so far. All four dishes we ordered were phenomenal! Owner was amazing and so helpful.
Tia R — Google review
The owner was kind of rude but we were hungry so we asked if we could sit and he said okay. We ordered a lasagna from “Today’s specials” menu and pizza with pancetta. The pizza here means a pre-baked quarter of a thick pizza crust heated with the toppings in an electric oven and then covered with lettuce (you can see it in the pictures). The lasagna were heated in the same oven as well and weirdly reminded of the one that you can get in LIDL. The food and the experience isn’t worth the money, would recommend to look for another place to eat and spend your time.

Restaurant
Salvatore Ravello 1958 is an elegant Italian restaurant and bakery located on a hill, offering breathtaking sea views from its large windows and terrace. Adjacent to the Hotel Graal, it provides a contemporary dining experience with an open kitchen and a focus on seasonal Campanian produce. The restaurant offers modern Italian cuisine with vegan options available upon request.
Salvatore Ravello's rooftop bar was such a beautiful spot! The exact location is directly south of its Google listing (right at the bend of the road before the tunnel into Ravello). The views at the two-tiered spot are unmatched and the service was warm & hospitable. It was the perfect place for a bite & sip before (or after) dinner or exploring the town! We went every night we stayed in Ravello and miss it dearly, exactly one year after visiting. * This review is only for the rooftop cocktail spot, as we did not stay in the hotel

6 of us went to this beautiful location to have our lunch. The scenery was beautiful and a cosy relaxing place to eat. The rating of the following foods are 1. Salted cod - very good and tasty 2. Mixed pasta with potato and calamari - extremely salty, and very unhealthy to your kidney. Don’t eat !!!!! A waste of money 3. Beef tartar - average 5/10 only 4. Slow cooked beef with Genovese sauce - very good and tasty

The food was delicious, we went with the chef’s recommendation which was very well priced. They allowed us to split it as well which was very kind. The view was amazing, we also had a very delicious glass of wine. The atmosphere was great and the inside was very cute! Indoor, terrace and more bar style seating all available.

Extraordinary view and creative takes on delicious local food. Everything was seasoned perfectly with delicious bread and a great selection of wines by the glass. Would recommend this to anybody traveling to Ravello or anywhere in Italy. Ten out of ten deserves a Michelin star. Perfect.

Although there were empty tables available at 8:45 both in the restaurant and in the pizzeria (we were even asked which area we preferred), the staff refused to serve us when they found out that we (two people) only wanted dessert and drinks. A minimum consumption requirement was never mentioned, which we would have understood and honoured, as we just wanted to enjoy the nice view and an italian desert at the end of the day. Pity.

Hands down the best food we’ve had in Ravello. Service was really friendly, and they accommodated 11 of us very quickly. Pasta with octopus was out of this world! Would highly recommend visiting.

A wonderful view and wonderful food. The dishes are creative and carefully presented. We enjoyed the ambiance and professional services. Slightly pricey but well worth it.

An absolutely breathtaking bed & breakfast in Ravello. Our room had a million-dollar view, and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The hotel is part of the family restaurant, so that was very convenient. The homemade cornetti were fresh from the oven, and there was a delicious assortment of fresh fruits. Highly recommended.
