Outdoor Activities
Platja de Muro, located on the north coast of Mallorca, is a stunning 6-km-long beach known for its fine sand and turquoise waters. It offers amenities such as restrooms, showers, and lifeguards for visitors to enjoy swimming and sunbathing. The beach sits in front of the S'Albufera nature reserve in the bay of Alcudia, with dunes bordered by pine groves.
We had a wonderful time at this beach—it’s very calm, peaceful, and absolutely beautiful. The water is clear, the sand is soft, and it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. It’s not overly crowded, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this beach to anyone visiting Mallorca. Whether you’re coming with family, friends, or solo, you’ll love the calm atmosphere and the stunning views. Also, a big bonus: the food options nearby are fantastic! There are plenty of great restaurants around, and everything we tried was fresh and delicious.

Amazing beach with a very wide shore—plenty of space to relax and enjoy the view!
Hanna S — Google review
Beautiful sandy beach with shallow waters stretching far into the sea – perfect for families with children. However, it is somewhat poorly maintained, lacks lifeguard supervision, and offers no natural shade, so an umbrella or beach tent is essential. It also tends to be quite crowded. In addition, there are many illegal beach vendors, though they are generally not very pushy. We visited with two children (3 and 8), who still had a wonderful time swimming and building sandcastles.

A wonderful place — a large beach with very clean water. We visited on a cloudy day, but it's still an amazing spot.👍👍👍
Jery — Google review
This is one of the best beaches on the island. We’ve visited here twice. Once in 2020 and again this week. The beach sand is almost white, the sea is clear as day, deep blue a few feet beyond that. A lovely boardwalk that goes out a fair way. Lots of green trees scattered amongst the sand, restaurants are in good supply too. Has to be on the list of places to visit when you come to muro.
James R — Google review
Absolutely beautiful beach if not a little busy but you can't blame folk for wanting to spend time in such a picturesque spot.
Henry C — Google review
Definitely beach that we enjoyed the most. Beautiful blue see and sandy beach. It also has a lot of chairs and umbrellas, price is 21€ for 2 chairs and an umbrella which comes with a safe to put your things.
Robert B — Google review
Nice Beach This is a great beach but we thought there were too many people and also it was not shallow enough for us. It goes deep pretty fast. Still nice but not what we were looking for.

(Translated by Google) I know it doesn't have much to do with the store, but since they don't criticize themselves or apologize for the comments made by many runners of their famous “Mallorca312”, I also write it here: Disastrous organization! 8,000 starting runners stuck in some alleys, 45' to pass the starting arch, and counting the time of the cuts from when the first ones leave. We runners who are not semi-professionals had to make a brutal effort to recover that time in the first 100 km!!. Disappointed. Supplies were scarce, small, with crowds, and where the registration price was not reflected. The only positive thing, its beautiful island. I'm sorry but I can't recommend it.

MURO Beach is a must-visit destination in Mallorca, especially for families due to its expansive 6 km stretch of white sand and dunes. Located near Port d'Alcudia in the town of Muro, it offers ample space for everyone without overcrowding. The beach boasts clean turquoise waters and fine sand, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and leisurely walks.
Our favourite beach, soft sand with amazing views of the mountains and blue water. Family and kids friendly. Very safe, with accessibility to the restaurants, shops.. it’s huge and very convenient. Can get a bit noisy.
Khushboo A — Google review
Very nice place to sit down, enjoy the view and have good food! Prices are way better than places next door. Service is good and nice waiters :). I recommend the wok and ceasar salad!
Noa A — Google review
Very pleasant experience! The Ambiance is amazing, the waiters are gentle, the food is good, and the price is fair. We ate a delicious salad with octopus and spaghetti with clams (vongole). We had an excellent lunch.
Angelica M — Google review
It’s listed as OPEN however they are fully under maintenance at this moment. Date July 2025
Nick H — Google review
Muro Beach offers easy car access with free parking spots and convenient amenities including sunbeds, showers, and nearby bars. The beach itself is wide and long, providing plenty of space for visitors. The water is warm all the time, making it comfortable for swimming. However, there are several important drawbacks: while the water is greenish, visibility is low and it’s not very clear. You must walk a considerable distance before reaching deeper water. In the afternoon, strong winds can stir up algae, turning the water black. Although the beach is generally family-friendly, the overall experience is diminished by the water quality and windy conditions. If you’re seeking somewhere unique and special, Muro Beach will likely feel just like any other crowded, average spot — but with below‑par conditions. Based on these factors, I do not recommend Muro Beach for those seeking ideal swimming or scenic beach conditions.

Los Patos is a bright and breezy dining spot that offers upmarket regional cuisine, including delectable seafood dishes and paella. The restaurant has garnered rave reviews for its extraordinary food, with patrons praising the generous portions and delicious flavors. The ambiance is described as classy and laid back, providing a refreshing change from touristy spots.
What an experience. We had been recommended Los Patos by the local taxi driver, the gentleman who’s Villa we stayed in and many other locals and it lived up to expectation, if not surpassed it. The service was excellent, very friendly and were very accommodation to my poor Spanish and request for Ketchup for the children! The atmosphere was just perfect and the food was incredible, the best Paella I’ve had. We have already booked to come again
Jonny H — Google review
Stunning ambiance. Delicious starters. Paella was ok but not out of this world! Waiters are very nice and attentive. Book in advance and ask for a table in the patio, especially for dinner - might get too hot outside in peak season at lunch. I Would come again.
Veronica B — Google review
Los Patos Restaurant offers a memorable and warmly inviting dining experience, backed by excellent service, a relaxing ambiance, and a kitchen that clearly takes pride in its food. Nestled in a picturesque setting, the atmosphere is one of its strongest assets—elegant yet unpretentious, with a welcoming feel that makes you want to stay a while. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. We were seated without a reservation, and the staff remained attentive, professional, and genuinely hospitable throughout the evening. The restaurant is also notably clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall sense of quality and care. The open-air setting does come with a minor challenge: mosquitoes. However, the staff is proactive in addressing this, providing mosquito spray and incense to keep guests comfortable. Thankfully, we didn’t experience any bites, which allowed us to enjoy the meal uninterrupted. Now to the food—Los Patos truly shines here. We started with the glass bread and croquettes, and they were so outstanding we ordered them three times. Perfectly crisp, flavorful, and beautifully presented—these appetizers alone are worth the visit. The roasted vegetables were also a standout: fresh, perfectly seasoned, and an ideal complement to the heartier mains. As someone who reviews professionally and often orders multiple entrees, I tried both the beef filet and the lamb chops. The filet was flavorful, though slightly on the chewy side. Unfortunately, the lamb chop dish included a small piece of metal sponge—a serious but clearly unintentional oversight. To their credit, the team responded immediately with concern, removed the dish, and offered a replacement. I declined, as I had already ordered a second entrée. The way the issue was handled—promptly and respectfully—reflects well on the integrity of the restaurant and its ownership. Dessert was also enjoyable and rounded out the meal on a sweet, satisfying note. The owners were present and engaged, adding a personal touch that’s often missing in larger or more commercial venues. Their pride in the restaurant is evident in both the food and the hospitality. In summary, Los Patos delivers an excellent dining experience that combines exceptional service, delicious cuisine, and a beautiful ambiance. While no restaurant is perfect, it’s how challenges are handled that often defines the overall experience—and Los Patos passed that test with grace. We would absolutely return and recommend it with confidence.
THE R — Google review
The octopus is excellent no doubt about it, but the potatoes it comes with are watery. The squid croquettes are flavourless. The suckling pork had tough chewy skin we had to leave some behind as not edible, so not cooked properly - should be crispy and delicate not tough like leather. The stewed eel with sauce was okay- the sauce lacked flavour so it was mainly muddy eel you’re tasting. Service was mixed - strong opening with a very chatty and charismatic maitre’d, then handed over to someone very efficient in taking orders and explaining the wine, then left to a waitress who had no fineness and plonked dishes and cutlery down slightly randomly like she couldn’t wait to get rid of it… So not as good as it could be, but pleasant patio if you can avoid the mosquitoes!
Lisa C — Google review
Im glad I got to experience Spanish snails and eels but everything was quite bland. No flavour at all! The fish tasted as if it was boiled in nothing but water, with every bite boiled tasting water poured out so I could only manage to eat a few mouthfuls. When the waiter asked if there was something wrong with it I tried to be polite by saying no I just didn't like it very much which took a lot of confidence but they acted as if I never said anything at all. This was supposed to be the highlight of my holiday but it ended up being a very expensive €130 disappointment but we tipped none the less because it's not the waiters fault
Felicia R — Google review
A famous Restaurateur once said, "A great restaurant doesn't distinguish itself by how few mistakes it makes, but by how well they handle those mistakes." Let me be clear, the food at Los Patos is wonderful, and the waiters and waitresses are excellent. The facilities are very beautiful, both inside and out. We were a group of 10, three friends from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Austria who decided to meet up in Mallorca with our families, and to celebrate our last night on the island we decided to come here. Everything went wonderfully, until, when it was time to pay the bill, there was a small mix-up that caused the bill to be issued twice. At one point, the owner of the restaurant, came out hysterically to complain about this situation, and there was no way to de-escalate this man's anger. He was rude to everyone, including the ladies, and didn't care that we had small children with us. Now we know that Los Patos is a place where celebration is not welcome. I have the impression that Mr. Font didn't like us laughing, singing, and clapping our hands to the musicians' songs (perhaps this annoyed his regular customers, who, from what we could see, don't even remember how to smile). Anyway, my congratulations to all the chefs in the kitchen and all the waiters for their professionalism and quality. If you want to go to this restaurant to celebrate and live life at the table, I recommend you do so very quietly, or you might unleash the fury of the family owner.Guys: If you are used to mistreating your Mallorcan customers, I recommend you remember that the world is bigger than Mallorca and not everyone will tolerate your rudeness. P.S. There are many, many biting mosquitoes, cover yourself with repellent before going.
Kennet K — Google review
How come this is 4 stars even. People don’t know what is good food or something. Most dry duck to choke with two slices of blend potatoes for 23£. Thanks senior i go Chinese next time. Drinks and atmosphere btw is Nice
Vladimir M — Google review
The place is nice specially the location. It looks fancy, and I have to say it is a bit on my the expensive side. When we where there outside where a lot of mosquitos I would recommend to do something about it. Inside was also nice and very cosy. I had the eel stew as a main course but I felt pitty it’s only the eel with sauce without any vegetables or rice.

Alcudia Old Town, located on the other side of the island from Palma de Mallorca, is a beautifully preserved medieval town surrounded by stone walls originally built for protection against pirates. This old capital of Majorca offers a strong sense of history with Roman ruins, a Bullring, and charming cobblestone alleys lined with small eateries and boutiques. The 14th-century walls provide stunning views of the town.
Wow. Absolutely beautiful day in Alcudia Old Town, visiting the medieval city, walking around the Roman Ruins and enjoying a relaxed day with the family. Word to the wise - if getting a cab, book before 08.30. This place gets seriously busy and we waited nearly an hour to be able to get on the bus back to Alcudia Port. Lots of good and drink options. The market is a bit overloaded with cheap dresses and trinkets but the food market is authentic and affordable. The stand-out is the Roman ruins. Among the best and most interesting sites I've ever visited. You have a real sense of what it would have been like to be there, walking the halls of the Forum and down to the Amphitheatre. 100% recommend a visit.
Nick P — Google review
We visited Alcudia Old Town on market day and really enjoyed it. There were plenty of stalls spread throughout the charming old streets, offering a wide variety of items – from clothes, bags, and souvenirs to handmade crafts. What stood out this time was the increase in local food options – lots of tasty treats, cheeses, cured meats, and fresh produce to try or take home. It had a great atmosphere without feeling too chaotic, and it’s a nice way to spend a few hours exploring. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

Numa Beach is a beachfront spot that has been serving up casual dining and cocktails for over 20 years. It's popular among young crowds, ensuring its offerings stay fresh and vibrant. With panoramic views of the beautiful Playa de Muro bay, it offers a relaxed atmosphere with a DJ playing laid-back tunes. The restaurant serves delicious food, including recommended dishes like beef and octopus with flavorful vegetable garnishes.
Nú Mallorca delivers a stylish, high-end beachfront dining experience that blends modern design, attentive service, and a breezy, relaxed ambiance. Located directly along the coast, this upscale restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating with stunning views, making it an ideal destination for a leisurely lunch or evening out by the sea. From the moment you arrive, the attention to detail is evident. The staff are professionally dressed in relaxed, fashion-forward attire—baggy yet polished—complementing the chic, coastal vibe of the venue. The atmosphere is fantastic, striking a balance between upscale and inviting, with the sea breeze flowing through the open-air spaces. Even the bathrooms are thoughtfully designed, adding a touch of personality to the overall experience. The bar program is particularly noteworthy. One standout was the pistachio cocktail, which was hands down one of the best drinks we've ever tasted—perfectly balanced, creamy, and innovative, offering a fresh take that elevates the entire dining experience. As for the food, it was a mix of hits and misses. The asparagus was juicy and well-prepared, though the barbecue sauce pairing felt out of place and overpowered the natural flavor—removing it would allow the dish to shine more. The croquettes were decent, though not particularly memorable. The burrata salad was fresh and enjoyable, while the Greek salad was the least traditional element of the meal—featuring an unexpected curry twist that diverged significantly from the classic preparation. It was still edible, but certainly not what one would expect when ordering a Greek dish. Despite a few creative missteps, the customer service was excellent. The staff were attentive, well-trained, and genuinely invested in creating a positive experience for their guests. In summary, Nú Mallorca stands out for its exceptional beachfront setting, refined aesthetic, and top-tier service. While some of the menu items could benefit from more traditional flavor pairings, the overall experience is elevated and enjoyable. We would definitely return, especially for the ambiance, cocktails, and the opportunity to try more from a menu that clearly aims to push boundaries.

What a gem of a night! From the moment we arrived, the service was like a warm embrace. Lucia and Willy, absolute stars, made us feel not just welcome, but celebrated (was my birthday). The night began with a complimentary drink, a sweet surprise that set the tone for what was to come. The vibe? Pure magic! It’s super cozy, beautiful views and everyone on staff is looking absolutely stunning with such an amazing energy. I can’t wait to come back. From the moment you enter, you can tell this is a high-class establishment, not just a typical beach bar. And indeed, it is. The staff is very friendly and attentive, with a stylish atmosphere. It's best to reserve a table for a meal, as seating can be a problem. The dishes look beautiful and are very tasty. The prices are higher than in other places, but in this case, the quality and seating are worth paying extra for.

The place is really beautiful and relaxing. They have only six big sunbeds, so reservation is a must, Philip took care of us at the beach, he is very friendly and professional, really top service. At the restaurant, Isabelle was our host and she is nice and helpful. In general all the staff are well trained and very good and welcoming. The food was okay but not amazing. Dakota Tex Mex is a restaurant located in Muro, Balearic Islands, Spain, offering American cuisine with a focus on ribs and burgers made from 100% local products. The restaurant's attractive decor and family-friendly environment make it an ideal spot for those dining with children. The menu features a variety of options ranging from nachos and burritos to gourmet burgers. While some patrons appreciate the authentic Tex Mex experience, others find the prices for drinks to be steep.
We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! Our waiter, Ramon, was incredibly friendly and welcoming—he really made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. We asked about halal options, and they were very accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious—the shrimp was a standout, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. We also tried the chicken burger, Mexican fajitas, and fish and chips—everything was fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the service was excellent. We’re so happy we chose to eat here and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and warm hospitality!

Beautiful settings, calm and attentive staff, very clean. The food wasn’t 100% what I expected. I’m a nacho type of girl and I’ve had better elsewhere. Wish they had chicken nachos with guacamole, they just had either. There was a large selection of different nachos but not the mix I normally would get. They were a little dry. My friend got chicken fajitas, it was a big portion for both of us so that’ll satisfy the portion lovers. She said it was the same level as TGI Fridays but didn’t like the sour cream. Reasonably priced for a holiday type restaurant, couldn’t and kind of didn’t want to finish it. We did come at the end of the night maybe that’s why they were dry?

Tanya and the boys welcomed us and the atmosphere throughout our meal was to a very high standard, they made myself and my families visit very special. We would highly recommend a visit as the food is outstanding.

Royal Beach Gastrosenses is a collection of Spanish beach bars and lounges located in Playa de Muro. These chic seaside spots offer a great selection of grilled prawns, upscale sharing platters, and signature cocktails. The Royal Beach Club stands out as a gorgeous venue with oceanfront access to the beach, where guests can enjoy drinks and dining. Visitors have praised the new sushi chef for his fusion twists on classic dishes, offering layers of flavor using high-quality, fresh ingredients.
Royal Beach Club rocks. Gorgeous venue for drinks & dining with oceanfront access to the beach. I was super lucky to be there the 1st day their new sushi chef started. Being from LA, I am used to excellent sushi made by Japanese chefs. This young man trained in Poland...who knew?! He offered classics as well as fusion twists that offered lovely layers of flavor. High quality, fresh ingredients, all beautifully presented. I was impressed! Tables, booths & beds are available here, along with live music & DJs on different nights. The vibe is chill lounge in an elevated setting. I highly recommend this place!

Nice place with a good view. interior is made with taste. Eating is a bit more problematic, because of the short tables, but was ok. Men waiters are smiling and good with service, women are not so joyful, but the service is good anyway. you can eat a various of dishes until 4p.m. and in the evening. otherwise only some good salads and club sandwich is in the normal menu. Enjoy the huge cocktail (3 liters)

Cocktails ok. Pastrami sandwich has not much more taste than burned very salty toast for €15. Raw egg should be mentioned and was not. Poke bowl salmon on the boring side, taste sour and no finesse. €16. Frites were sacky, soft en most likely reheated. Staff is friendly though and the location great. . But they need to find a better chef or send him or her to classes to do the location right. We will not come back before the quality is seriously enhanced. 0 stars for the Kitchen and 5 stars for location, staff and drinks.

Cracking venue right on the beach. You pay a little more for the view and sound of the sea compared to other venues near by but I think it was worth it. The food very tasty good sized portions and friendly service. I highly recommend.

It was not the high level I expected for the price, and as many other say the cocktails were REALLY weak 🍹 but it was super cozy. I don't think I would go back just because it was quite expensive for 3 people.

Fantastic beach-side restaurant. So chic. Gorgeous food, amazing cocktails, beautiful desserts. A must-visit if you're in Alcudia.

Good decoration and nice views. Coctels looks nice but taste is not really good, mostly sugar in there, I had 4 coctels there and all bad. For dinner we had black rice and red prawns rice and they were not good at all. I know very well how a good paella taste like, we felt sick and had stomachache after eat there. The staff was friendly and attentive

Italian restaurant
Pizza restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Alcudia's Old Town, Osteria El Patio is a charming Italian eatery that transports you straight to Italy with its delightful offerings. This beloved restaurant features a traditional menu brimming with classic dishes like pasta, pizza, and succulent meats and fish. The highlight? A hidden garden that provides a serene escape during the bustling summer months. With an inviting covered terrace perfect for al fresco dining, guests can savor their meals while soaking up the vibrant atmosphere of this picturesque area.
Good sangria, not to sweet and not to bland. Very nice paella, big portions so it was enough for two and a child. Lovely people and atmosphere. Will definitely come again next time we’ll visit Mallorca!

Great Italian restaurant. Pizza very good. Not sure why Amstel on draft - which is the worst lager - and not a decent Spanish one. If need be Cruzcampo which is also owned by Heineken (or better Moretti - but Italian although still better than Dutch on a Spanish island) 🍺🍺🍺

The setting is lovely and the service efficient , the pizza is great bit needs a bit more because it was a nit soggy . The food is above average but the menu could have more protien options . The ambiance is a winning combination especially if you sit outside . The waiters were swamped and it didn’t help when my daughter asked for ketchup 😂.

Very friendly staff, fair prices, and authentic Italian cuisine make Osteria El Patio a great choice. The pasta served in a pizza bread bowl was an absolute highlight. The covered terrace in the courtyard provided a wonderfully pleasant atmosphere, even on a rainy day.

We ordered the mortadella pizza and linguine vongole and it was amazing. Both dishes was just what we hoped for and better. The service was really good and the location is perfect. Good wine and home made desserts made the experience even better.

This is an authentic Italian restaurant in Alcudia old town. I tried their focaccia and classic pizzas and they were pretty good though there could’ve been a bit more cheese on the margherita. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick bite or a relaxed dinner, this is the place to go in Alcudia for genuine Italian flavor. Prices are fair. One tip: make a reservation. For some reason, they’re often fully booked (even on weekdays, at odd hours, and during the off-season). I still haven’t figured out why, but it tells you something.

They serve amazing pasta here, and the pizza is just perfect, with the right dough and real Italian toppings. Everything we tried here was incredibly delicious!
Ekaterina M — Google review
I really didn't like the service and atmosphere at this place. The waiters took our order and went off laughing happily among themselves. Twenty minutes passed, and it turned out that they had simply forgotten about it and hadn't passed it on. They brought me tiramisu with a piece of plastic in it, quite sharp, thank God it didn't go to a child. When the people at the next table left, the same two waiters stood there and laughed at them, it was just disgusting!
