Fortress
Sights & Landmarks
Historic Sites
Diu Fort, constructed by the Portuguese in the 16th century, is a sprawling sandstone complex that includes a lighthouse and three churches. The fort offers sweeping views of the sea from various vantage points and features steep walkways, cannons, and fragments of tombstones. Visitors can also explore a causeway into the sea where they may observe beautiful seabirds up close.
Diu Fort is a historical heritage situated on the seashore, which is famous for its grandeur and beauty. While roaming in this fort, you get to see the wonderful view of old walls, huge cannons and the waves of the sea meeting the blue sky. The most special thing here is that golf cart facility is also available inside the fort, which takes you directly to the lighthouse, from where you can see the panoramic view of the entire sea and the city of Diu. A separate charge has to be paid for this golf cart, but this experience is so wonderful that its memories remain in the heart forever. If you go to Diu, then do not forget to visit this ancient fort and see the view of the lighthouse.

Diu Fort is a magnificent historical monument built by the Portuguese in the 16th century. Surrounded by the Arabian Sea on three sides, it offers breathtaking views and a unique experience of history and nature together. The fort has massive stone walls, old cannons, and a lighthouse that adds to its charm. It is well maintained and perfect for photography, evening walks, and exploring heritage. A must-visit place in Diu for tourists, history enthusiasts, and anyone who enjoys scenic beauty. Diu Fort is open daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Ticket price for adult is 100 rupees.

Diu Fort is a remarkable blend of history and scenic beauty. The Portuguese architecture, vast stone walls, and panoramic sea views create a truly captivating experience. The fort is well-preserved, offering stunning photography spots, especially during sunrise and sunset. It’s a peaceful place to explore and learn about Diu’s colonial past. Although some areas could use better maintenance, the overall atmosphere and charm make it a must-visit heritage site. Highly recommended for history lovers and travelers seeking serenity by the sea.

Diu Fort is a historic Portuguese fortress on Diu Island, built in the 16th century after a defense alliance between the Sultan of Gujarat and the Portuguese to protect against Mughals. Surrounded by the sea on three sides, this imposing structure offers panoramic sea views and houses a lighthouse, along with churches and a former prison. It stands as a significant example of Portuguese architecture in India and remains a popular tourist attraction known for its impressive stonework and historical importance.
SACHIN R — Google review
Must visit for - this fort offers stunning sea views, a lighthouse, and historical ruins, and is a great place for photography. Do try and find the Hoak tree. They also charge 100pp for Indians but very well-maintained condition, and the peaceful atmosphere. Take a guide to help explain the place better. The walk can be long and steep but there are buggys to take us to most places. We also went through a secret passageway and was quite fun. Try to go early in the day or latest by 4pm- closes at 6

Diu Fort is a beautiful Portuguese Fort, which is being renovated to protect the beautiful structure from falling apart. It is still beautiful, although the weather is warm, even in October end, there are golf carts that you can hire to avoid walking all the way up to the foot and its various nooks and crannies. I strongly recommend hiring a guide so that you do not miss out on the beautiful parts of history, which may be difficult figure to just by googling out. The sea looks amazing from the Fort, so do not miss this view.

Jalandhar Beach, Diu Jalandhar Beach is a small and peaceful beach in Diu. It is not very crowded, so it's a good place if you want to relax quietly. The beach is clean and has beautiful views, especially during sunrise and sunset. There is also a small temple and a statue of Jalandhar near the beach, which adds a bit of historical and cultural value. The area is safe, and the waves are usually calm, but it's not ideal for swimming as it's more rocky than sandy. Overall, it's a nice spot for a short visit, photography, or peaceful walking. Good for couples and families who enjoy quiet places.

Nestled on a rocky cliff with breathtaking views of the sea, the INS Khukri Memorial stands as a poignant tribute to the valiant sailors who lost their lives during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. This memorial honors those aboard the frigate INS Khukri, which was tragically torpedoed by a Pakistani submarine in 1976.
Situated on the banks of the Arabian Sea, I.N.S. Fukri Memorial is a very beautiful and historical place, from where you can see the wonderful view of the spectacular sunset. The specialty here is that golf cart facility is available after the entry, which takes you directly to the top point, making the journey even more comfortable and memorable. The cool breeze of the sea, calm atmosphere and photogenic location make it a perfect destination for travelers. For both history and nature lovers, this place offers a unique experience, which remains in the heart for a long time.

First of all on the history part, Indian Naval Ship Khukri was a frigate of our Navy unit during the Indo Pak war in 1971, which sank 40 nautical miles away from Diu. The place is really worth visiting for our generation to know what happened and why. A well placed and maintained Memorial and model ship made is a mini ship same as Khukri. Recommended a visit at Evening after 6 pm if you are coming in Summer, as it's humid and sun is hard during morning slot. The Memorial is upgraded and made more tourist friendly every year, more scenic spots, more sitting places, open air auditorium like space is one more attraction. It's neat and upkeep. It's on elevated space which makes scenic views more beautiful. Electric cabs available on a chargeable basis which covers two ways costing. Suitable for all including family members it may be old or young. Food joints are there which can fulfill tourist requirements like ice cream, cold drinks, water, snacks etc.

The INS Khukhri Memorial in Diu is one of the most inspiring and serene places I’ve visited. It’s built in memory of the Indian Navy warship INS Khukhri, which sank during the 1971 Indo-Pak war, and stands as a symbol of courage and sacrifice. The memorial is well maintained, offering a breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea. The information boards tell the story of the brave naval officers who went down with their ship — it’s both emotional and patriotic. Evening time is the best to visit, as the sunset view from here is simply mesmerizing. The surrounding area is clean and peaceful, making it perfect for spending some quiet, reflective time. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Diu.

Clean place with snack stalls available nearby. EV transportation available for elderlies (too expensive) else it has a short 2 km trek on brick made slope. Sea shore and waves worth enjoying from INS KHUKRI memorial. A small battleship prototype also available along with name of warriors ! Photo clicks allowed. Car park and 2 wheeler parking space available at nominal price at foot of the memorial. No entry fees. Best time to visit : Morning 7 to 8 and evening 5 to 6.

Historical place
Naida Caves, located near the Diu Fort in India, are a network of picturesque caves and caverns with unique rock formations and sunlit canyons. These man-made caves were constructed by the Portuguese using material from huge rocks to build the nearby fort. The history of these caves remains a mystery, but they are believed to have been used by the army as hiding spots during wars.
We headed to the magnificent Naida caves sometime back. These beautiful rocky caves with an intricate network of tunnels and huge step structures, is a photographer's and explorer’s paradise! I have written a blog about our Gujarat trip. You can search using the keywords - Lets go Gujarat. This might help you plan your trip better. Sunlight enters the caves through natural openings on the top, giving sufficient light for good photos. The caves are part natural and part man made. You can easily spend an hour or two exploring the caves.
Kanhaiya — Google review
It's a good place to visit, a place where you can admire nature's beauty. You can see amazing patterns on the walls of the caves. Better to visit the place before confirming, if it's open or not as many times it's closed due to maintenance. I would recommend wear shoes when you visit this place.
Paramvir J — Google review
Some renovation works going on and closed for public they told it might take more than 8months to finish the renovation.
Pushyamitra G — Google review
It was closed for some renovation. We just got a glimpse of adjoining areas from the outside. It is a beautiful network of caves & caverns featuring unique rock formations. The Portuguese used sections of the rock for all their construction work. Very few know that geological irregularities and natural processes resulted in these caves.
Anna A — Google review
The sight of the caves carved out of a million years of excavation is amazing. You have to look up from within to realise the amazing wonder of nature. No lights within after sunset so it would be difficult to get around but I presume that artificial lighting from the mobile torchlight would throw around some amazing sights.
Louis D — Google review
What a wonderful experience, a multiple section of rock caves, it's believed that the stones from here are used for construction purpose and later these caves are used for soldiers hideout. Or these rock formations could be created by natural erosion. Well this is a perfect spot for photography.
Anshuman P — Google review
Great place to visit, magical nature can be felt here full of artistic scenery, this cave is the magic of nature you can feel the awesomeness created by nature here. Full of greenery and narrow path which will energize you and your soul.
Ashish D — Google review
If you're visiting Diu, I insist you plan a visit to these caves. Outstanding natural frames. And do it at Golden hour. Very pretty hues and the sun rays enter at some points. A treat to see. Great place for photography. They sometimes do Pre-wedding photoshoots here. Some corners are just perfect. Ladies, wear your best brights! No tickets. Many drivers don't know the place. We had to take ours using Google maps.

Hindu temple
Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple is a serene and spiritually significant Hindu temple located on the seashore in Fudam village, Diu. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, it features five symbolic representations of him called lingas, which are continuously washed by the waves of the Arabian Sea during high tide. The rhythmic sounds of the ocean create a tranquil atmosphere, making it an ideal place for introspection and tranquility.
Nageshwar Mahadev Temple is a wonderful and unique pilgrimage site, where nature itself anoints Lord Bholenath. Here every day from around 12 noon to 4 pm, the strong waves of the sea reach the sanctum sanctorum of the temple and pour water on the Shivalinga and perform its natural anointment. Watching this scene is a divine experience, as if the sea itself is worshipping Mahadev through its waves. This scene instills deep faith and supernatural peace in the minds of devotees. Nageshwar Mahadev Temple is not only a religious place, but is a living proof of the wonderful confluence of nature and God, which attracts every devotee.

The Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple is an ancient, naturally formed cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located 3 km from Diu on the Fudam Village seashore. Its main attraction is five Shiva Lingams situated amid rocks on the coast, believed to have been placed by the Pandavas during their exile, which are submerged by high tide, leaving only their tips visible. The rhythmic sound of the sea waves, believed to be an act of divine ablution, creates a serene and mystical atmosphere at this significant pilgrimage site.

We had a really good experience visiting this temple. It’s beautifully situated right beside the sea, which makes the atmosphere calm and peaceful. The sound of the waves and the scenic view add a special charm to the place. Since we visited on a weekday, there was no waiting time, and we could enjoy the darshan comfortably. If you’re travelling to Diu, this is definitely a must-visit spot. It’s a perfect blend of spirituality and natural beauty.

When in Diu, this places holds a special place. Even if you are not so religious, you should visit this place. Reason - it is extremely peaceful, scenic, a different experience, and a place to enjoy sea waves. It is really unique in many ways, however, place is better suited for winters.

One of d best places to visit in Diu and otherwise. Located just next to the sea and at such a place that sea waves literally come inside the temple when it’s high tide. Very cute, peaceful and serene temple. You can just sit there and be lost in the silence.

Nice one beach ⛱️ Cool atmosphere 😎 Nagoa Beach in Diu is widely considered its most famous and beautiful beach, offering a mix of natural beauty, water sports, and a relaxed atmosphere. Here is a comprehensive review of the beach based on traveler feedback: The Best of Nagoa Beach * Scenic Beauty and Ambiance: It's famous for its horseshoe or semi-circular shape, soft white sands, and the unique backdrop of Hoka palm trees (a species imported by the Portuguese). This setting creates a picturesque and exotic ambiance. * Water Sports Hub: It's the primary location in Diu for thrilling water activities. You can enjoy: * Jet Skiing * Parasailing * Banana Boat Rides * Bumper Rides * Speed Boat Rides * Calm and Safe Water: The semi-circular shape of the beach naturally results in calm, shallow water, making it an excellent and safe spot for swimming and bathing, particularly for families. * Relaxation and Activities: Beyond water sports, the beach is perfect for: * Sunbathing and relaxation. * Enjoying beautiful sunrises and sunsets. * Taking leisurely strolls along the 2 km stretch. * Activities like camel and pony rides are also available. * Convenience and Facilities: The beach is well-connected and has several resorts, restaurants, and beach shacks lining the shore, offering good food and easy accommodation access. It is also relatively close to Diu Airport. Points to Consider (Potential Improvements) * Crowds: Being the most famous beach, it can get crowded, especially during peak season, weekends, and holidays. * Water Quality: While generally regarded as having "crystal clear water," some older reviews occasionally mention the water being dirty or having a "muddy texture" due to black mud, though overall cleanliness is frequently praised by many visitors. * Overall: Nagoa Beach is an ideal destination for travelers looking for a blend of natural beauty, safe swimming, and exciting water activities, making it a must-visit in Diu.

**Review of Nagoa Beach, Diu** Nagoa Beach in Diu is a **beautiful and scenic spot**, perfect for hanging out with family and friends. The calm waves, black sand, and relaxed vibe make it a great place to unwind and enjoy the sea view. However, the **cleanliness of the beach could be improved**. While the natural beauty is captivating, the litter and lack of proper maintenance take away from the experience. If you're looking for a **pristine, clean beach**, this might not meet expectations. But if you simply want to **sit back, relax, and enjoy the sea**, then Nagoa Beach is still worth a visit. (3.5/5

My visit to Nagoa Beach in Diu was truly refreshing and memorable. The moment I reached the beach, I was greeted by clean golden sand, clear blue water, and rows of swaying palm trees that gave the place a peaceful and tropical feel. The atmosphere was calm, not too crowded, and perfect for simply relaxing and enjoying nature. I spent my morning walking barefoot along the shore, feeling the cool waves touch my feet. The water was surprisingly clean and safe, so I even enjoyed a light swim. Compared to many other beaches, Nagoa felt more peaceful and better maintained. There were a few water sports options like speed boating and jet skiing for those who love adventure, but I preferred just sitting quietly and watching the sea. By afternoon, I tried some local food from the nearby stalls — fresh seafood and coconut water, both amazing in taste and quality. The people around were friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. As the sun began to set, the sky turned into shades of orange and pink, creating a picture-perfect view that I’ll never forget. Overall, my time at Nagoa Beach was soothing and full of simple joys. It’s a great place to unwind, take beautiful photos, and enjoy peaceful moments by the sea. I’d love to visit again someday.

Nagoa Beach in Diu is a remarkable blend of natural serenity and thrilling adventure, making it one of the region’s premier coastal destinations. Its distinctive horseshoe—or semi-circular—shape spans nearly 2–2.5 km of pristine white sand that curves gracefully into the gentle Arabian Sea . The surrounding palm groves, including rare Portuguese-introduced Hoka trees, enhance the setting’s tropical allure . Ideal for both relaxation and activity, Nagoa caters to a diverse crowd. Families and solo visitors can unwind, sunbathe, swim, or picnic by the calm shoreline . Meanwhile, thrill-seekers will appreciate the beach’s wide array of water sports—including jet skiing, parasailing, banana boats, speed boats, and even hot air balloon rides—with transparent, affordable pricing available . Adventure lovers can also enjoy camel and pony rides or explore nearby attractions like Diu Fort, St. Paul’s Church, and Naida Caves . A standout feature is the breathtaking sunsets—the sky transforms into a canvas of vibrant oranges and pinks, creating unforgettable evening moments . Cleanliness is another highlight; visitors often note the beach’s well-maintained sands and soothing ambiance, surpassing some nearby options in upkeep . In terms of accessibility, Nagoa Beach is conveniently located just 7–8 km from Diu town and the airport, reachable via a short 20-minute drive or public transport . There are also plenty of nearby resorts, restaurants, and shacks offering refreshments and coastal dining . Verdict: Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or an action-packed day, Nagoa Beach delivers. It’s a scenic, well-equipped haven that strikes a rare balance between relaxation and recreation—making it a must-visit highlight of Diu.

O Coqueiro in Diu is a charming and highly-rated restaurant that offers a mix of Continental, Portuguese, and seafood dishes in a delightful setting. The restaurant is known for its seafood specialties, with the owner cum chef, Mr. Pandey, personally running the show. The cozy garden setting adds to the rustic charm of this legendary seafood place. While it may not offer luxury, it's perfect for those seeking great fish dishes and a relaxed dining experience.
Small place but good food. Very limited items manly fish preparations. There are only 8 tables with four chairs each. There is only one lady who takes order and serve. Food is very tasty. I have tried fish fry and curry both and taste is awesome. Price is reasonable. Road is under construction. Better to keep the car little away and walk last 400/500 meter. Only cash or UpI.

This place was one of the main highlights of my Diu visit. I went there for dinner on the first day of the trip with a burning itch to finally get my hands on some proper seafood. The ambience of the place is very earthy and cozy. The dining space is adorned with lots of plants and creepers and it really has a homely environment to it. The Chef, Kailash Pandey and their partner helped with the menu and gave a lip smacking dish of fried mackerels and portugese style prawn curry with rice. The smell of the fried fish emanating from their kitchen had me so excited and lowkey gave me that Ratatouille-esque flashback of me waiting for my mum to come with her dish of fried fish for supper. The fish was wonderfully fried, the masala tasted really good and the most important thing, the fish was fresh. The portugese style prawn curry was equally good, although i felt that maybe that curry would go better with kerala style appams instead of rice. Right after my first bite, i had decided that i would be visiting the place again the next day for lunch. I really gotta thank Chef Pandey and their partner for being so gracious enough to have served me with their wonderful food even though I turned up at their place for lunch really late. And again, their food was as appetizing as it was the previous night. The prawn masala was so good. The freshness of the fish and prawns that they use is commendable. I would recommend this place for everyone who plans on visiting Diu. O'Coqueiro serves outstanding cuisines, and caters to almost every taste palette. And ofcoz this place is a goldmine for people who need to satiate their seafood cravings. The hosts are wonderful people and really makes the place feel like home with their demeanor and ofcoz through the tasty dishes they serve. I will be visiting this place again, and again, and again...

O Coqueiro: A Hidden Seafood Gem Near INS Khukri Memorial in Diu! We stumbled upon O Coqueiro while scrolling through TripAdvisor during our Diu trip. At first, I was reluctant—another beachside shack? We've had our share of hit-or-miss seafood spots in Goa. But it was just a short walk from the INS Khukri Memorial, so we decided to give it a shot. Best decision ever! Our first meal was a seafood feast: Bangda fish fry, king prawns, and crab. The fish fry was outstanding—crispy, perfectly spiced, and zero fishy smell (a common Goa gripe). As an avid fish lover who's sampled the best in Goa, Pondicherry, Bangalore, Mumbai, Bengal, and Delhi, this was top-tier deliciousness. But oh, the king prawns! They were so-so sweet—no, wait, beyond sweet. I've never tasted anything like it in my life. They melted in my mouth, and that mind-blowing sweetness stole my heart completely. The crab? Even better than the renowned seafood hotels in Mumbai. Juicy, flavorful, and simply unbeatable. The hospitality sealed the deal. The chef, his wife, and son were incredibly warm—we chatted about food for a full hour! Such genuine vibes. We couldn't resist returning the next day for kingfish curry and king prawn fry. Both were divine—rich, aromatic, and perfectly executed. We'll be back to Diu for sure, and O Coqueiro is now our must-visit. Bon appétit! Highly recommend for seafood lovers.

O’Cocura is an excellent choice for anyone looking to enjoy authentic seafood prepared with care and expertise. The restaurant offers a variety of freshly caught fish, cooked to perfection with a wonderful balance of spices and flavors. The grilled fish I tried was outstanding – crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and served with a refreshing mix of salad and lemon that enhanced the overall taste. The quality of the food clearly reflects the freshness of the ingredients, making it a standout for seafood lovers. Due to the restaurant’s popularity and high demand, it is strongly recommended to visit only after confirming availability, as walk-ins may not always be accommodated. The ambiance is simple yet welcoming, and the focus is rightly on serving food that speaks for itself. Overall, O’Cocura is a place where quality and flavor meet, and it is highly recommended for anyone who appreciates well-prepared seafood.

We had such a lovely experience here! We tried the Portuguese prawns curry with rice — it was freshly made after we placed the order, and the flavours were absolutely delicious. Something truly different and memorable! We also tried the vegetable Portuguese curry, which was just as tasty. At first, when we saw the place from the outside, we were a little unsure. But as soon as we stepped in, we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful garden-style setup — so peaceful, cozy, and welcoming. It truly felt like home. The owners are extremely humble and kind, and the whole experience felt very personal and warm. It’s just a shame we were in Diu only for a few hours, so we could try only one meal — but we’ll definitely come back to explore more from the menu. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

I had visited this restaurant for a special dinner with my family but I had a horrible experience. The food taste was not so good and the quantity was very less compared to the price. And I don’t see any waiters, they always disappear, we need to stand up and look for them.
Anirudh B — Google review
I recently stayed at Azzaro Hotel in Diu, and while the hotel room was spacious, the humidity was a major issue. The tiles felt moist even when walking, which was quite uncomfortable. Given Diu's humid climate, I understand it's a challenge, but better ventilation in rooms and washrooms would have made a big difference. The staff was generally good and supportive, providing helpful suggestions for sightseeing. However, the reception staff could work on their attitude. The restaurant had a strict no-outside-food policy, and the prices of beer and wine were steep, with additional taxes. The food was average, and while the swimming pool was clean, it lacked amenities. The indoor games, snooker and carrom, were available but not well-maintained. Considering the price, I expected more from the rooms, which didn't quite justify the cost. Overall, it's an average hotel, and I'd give it 3 stars. With some improvements, it could be a great stay.

Although it was later repurposed as a hospital, the church has been restored to its former Portuguese grandeur. At a distance of 1.5 km from Diu Bus Station, Diu Museum is a prominent museum located in Diu. Situated near St. Paul's Church, it is one of the museums in the Union Territory of Diu - Daman and among the must-visit places in Diu town. The museum was set up in the St. Thomas Church, hence it is called as St. Thomas Church Museum. The church was built in 1598 by an order of Bishop D. Aleixo Menezes and was the first Parish Church of Diu. Lies on an elevated platform within the Diu Fort, the church was built in the Gothic style of architecture. This edifice came under various functions like an Orphanage, Old Age Home, Police Station and prior to liberation, it housed the Angolan Battalion. Post-liberation, it was abandoned for many years. Later in 1992, the church was converted into a museum. After the conversion of the building to the museum, the church does not organize prayer services anymore, although an annual mass is held on All Saint's Day on 1st November. St. Thomas Museum houses numerous stone inscriptions of ancient rulers, antique statues, multi-colored fountains, wood carvings and idols, shadow-clocks and various other vital artifacts, all of which give us a peek into the history of Diu and its past when it was colonized by the Portuguese. This museum also features 400 years old wooden and marble statues of St. Thomas and St. Benedict. It is an archaeological treasure house.

Apana Foodland is a popular sea-facing restaurant in Diu, offering a delightful mix of multi-cuisine dishes in a spacious and inviting setting. Located opposite the beach, it provides a cool breeze and scenic views while you savor their Chinese, Indian, and fast food options. Visitors recommend trying the Chana Chaat for its crispy, spicy, and tangy flavors as well as the paneer Sabji and veg handi for lunch or dinner.
Good food with Beach View in Diu. Place - Hotel Apna Foodland Location - Opp. Govt. Parking, Diu The place is located just opposite the beach so one can enjoy the cool breeze & view while feasting on the delicious food. They serve a variety of food including Chinese, Indian & fast food. We ordered - - Chana Chaat - Hakka Noodles - Triple Fried Rice Before ordering the food we advised our server to keep it a bit high on spice. Chana Chaat was crisp, spicy & tangy. It served as a tasty & quick appetizer. Then came Triple Fried Rice which were a combination of Noodles & Rice served with Gravy Manchurian. The taste was good, noodles & rice were cooked perfectly & Manchurian as a side was cherry on top. Then came Hakka Noodles which were cooked nicely with a generous amount of veggies. The good part was very less oil in dishes, friendly staff & quick service despite heavy rush. Would Advise anyone going there to take the table right in the center & facing the beach. The total bill came to INR 583.

We ordered medium-spiced food, but what was served was excessively spicy and difficult to eat. Additionally, the manager's behavior was unprofessional and disappointing. The ambiance of the restaurant is not up to the standard expected from a food establishment, and it did not align with the image presented online or in reviews. The overall food quality was very poor. It did not match the description or expectations based on how the dishes were marketed. Moreover, the rotis appeared to be prepared much earlier in the day and were simply reheated before being served. They were hard and not fresh, making them inedible. Overall, the experience was far below expectations, both in terms of food and service.

At janmashtami, 17th aug 2025 went for lunch , it's costly nd not worth as per their price. The quantity was too less , if you order one sabji only 1 person can eat. At the end you will not get satisfaction also the billing manager when I complain about this they are not accepting nd behave rudely. Also they serve cold drinks at high prices , 35rs of glass. Don't recommend this ❌🚫

Went for a brunch! Ordered the following - aloo paratha - Gujarati thali - cold coffee with ice cream The aloo paratha was good no doubt but the Gujarati thali was very disappointing, and the cold coffee was very bad, we wanted to order without ice cream but then they said if ice cream is not added then the coffee won't be cold ! I mean what the hell ?? And there was no taste of coffee at all, it was all vanilla ice cream and milk ! I was basically drinking vanilla milk with the slightest hint of coffee ! Apart from that whatever we asked for was not available! Maybe it's good for breakfast but don't know! Overall the service was also very disappointing! As if the staff was disinterested in serving !

Not at all worth the price we paid ..the bill amounted around INR 1000, but the food was not even worth it . And to add on they had plastic glasses for water which were smelly, they didn't had disposable glasses as well and the staff was also rude.

Very bad experience. The food had no taste at all – total waste of money. No cleanliness, poor management, and overall the place felt very unhygienic. Only the staff was a bit helpful and gave quick responses, but that doesn’t make up for the terrible food quality. Would not recommend this place

Wort food ever had and the surrounding like the table and chair were so dirty and worst service I have ever received. I honestly recommend not to come to this restaurant.

The Floatel managed by Lords hotels & resorts is a unique dining destination in Diu, located on a double-deck catamaran vessel at the Diu police jetty. Guests can enjoy picturesque views and tranquil waters while savoring authentic vegetarian cuisine, with options for Jain food available upon early registration. The restaurant offers live music and dance entertainment, creating a lively atmosphere for visitors to enjoy. The friendly staff provides excellent service, ensuring a memorable experience for families, couples, and friends alike.
Live music and dance must be loud. Speaker seems low. Service is best but food taste is not that authentic. Overall experience is lavish. Wishing a great future.

It's an okay experience, the booking process is via whatsapp or at the location, payment supported online, but the officer is supporting and did work around for cash. Snacks given, chips, small cup cake, fruity and chevdo. It's shows forts and INS boat... Going very slow, may be 1.5km per hr... As per price.. it's a one time experience... DJ music is good.. if you like dancing this could be the fun place..

Cheat.. Fraud..!! 2 hours of hunger trap..!! Can't give zero/negative rating! 1 is minimum.. :( I could have utilised my time at some other place.. Posting from this "FloatDanceOnlyYouCantSeeAnythingInNightDanceTour".. Just trapped and waiting for it to finish since after 10minutes of start of tour.. :D Rs. 550 (+Rs.50 for parking) for 1.5 dance tour.. while it's being 'tagged' and 'named' as floating restaurant! Many people including families had planned their dinner here.. :) This is cheating/fraud.. nothing to eat or drink (except soft drink) even if you want to pay.. buffet setup lagaa hai.. kabhi dinner serve hota hoga..but no more.. I would not have given minimal rating if they would have not 'tagged' / 'named' / 'promoted' this as floating restaurant! 1star just because of spoiling our family time (dinner time).. in the name of restaurant..
