This place is bit overcrowded at times especially on weekends.. so do avoid if you can on evenings... It has shops for street food has cafe dalhousie and some game parlours for kids... Did not found anything extraordinary here for ahopping which you cannot find in a tier 1 city.

It's a tibetian refugee market which is quite in a small lane, collection you can get variety of stoles, shaal, pahadi caps, knitted stoles, trendy shoes sandals kaftan, kurti, tibetian items, small trendy cute gadgets and many more stuffs tibetian cuisines fridge magnets etc. We couldn't bargain but you can absolutely try your luck 😉

The name might make you think it’s full of Tibetan treasures — but honestly, not much Tibetan stuff here. It’s mostly regular stalls selling clothes, souvenirs, and winter wear you’ll find in any hill station market. Also, the lanes are super narrow — in some spots, two people can’t even pass each other without turning sideways like crabs. If it’s crowded, be ready for a mini traffic jam on foot. Good for a quick stroll and some basic shopping, but don’t go in with high expectations.

The prices are on the higher side compared to other Tibetan markets I've checked out in places like Delhi or McLeod Ganj; you might end up paying a bit more for those colorful scarves, jewelry, and handicrafts. Bargaining is possible if you're into it, but it's hit or miss—totally up to you whether to haggle or not. The real downside is how congested it gets. The lanes are super narrow, so only one or max two people can squeeze through at a time. If someone approaches from the front, it's like a mini traffic jam—maybe one person coming head-on and one from each side if you're lucky. It feels chaotic, especially on weekends, so go early if you hate crowds. Decent for souvenirs, but don't expect a relaxed shopping vibe.

Excellent eatry in the happening Gandhi Chowk of Dalhousie. The service was very prompt and friendly. Food quality was excellent Honey chilly potatoes with proper crisp and sweet hot tangyness was a good start, followed by ghar ki daal, almost same as home cooked, malai kofta in a peach colored rich curry and butter chicken.. Nan and roti were fresh Odd pick of egg sandwich proved to be excellent too. Overall the food was very tatseful and balanced on spices and richness. The place was full with guests, still from taking our order to serving the food staff was very prompt. Overall a great dinner experience

I was initially disappointed that the North Indian options weren't available during my first visit (between 4 and 7 pm), but it was well worth revisiting after 7 pm. Highly recommend!

Good place to have lunch. The place gets crowded during rush hour. They have a good selection of indian, Pan Asian and continental cuisine. Not many tables though..... The staff are polite and the food quality is good.

We stopped for lunch enroute to Khajjiar. Parking is a little difficult to find during peak hours. Once inside, there is comfortable seating. Service is quick and our food arrived in no time. Flavors are spot on, servers are attentive to food customization and there's a decent washroom. Overall a nice experience in Dalhousie.

One of the oldest churches in Dalhousie, surrounded by beautiful trees and colonial charm. But during my visit, the church was empty and renovation work was going on, so the peace you’d usually expect was replaced by a lot of construction noise. The structure itself is lovely from the outside, and it’s a nice stop if you’re walking around the area. Hopefully, once the renovation is complete, it’ll regain its peaceful vibe. Good for a quick visit — just not the quiet experience you’d expect from a hill station church (at least for now)

Some nice samples of fighter jets or tank or jeeps shown here. Real life view of these defence items or equipment. But it's a good site and kids and elders can enjoy equally if interested in seeing these items Only problem is these exhibits are along the road and there is no park where u can enter. One needs to see all this from the road (where main traffic moves)

This park is situated in army area which is perfectly maintained, full of greenery and flowers. There are some equipments like tank, fighter jet and bomber jeeps which were used in wars and our army won. Must visit place. I personally feel so proud while sitting there.

This nice little park is located outside of Dalhousie, on the way to panchpula. This park has some old tanks, armoured jeep, aircraft to inspire the younger generation to join the Indian army. This whole place is clean and very well maintained.

We ordered Chowmin and Chicken Momo. The chowmin that was served was completely stale and smell was coming. Momos were very small compared to the price charged for it. The owner though waive off the chowmin price from bill but overall experience during lunch time and being hungry was very bad.

This cafe is situated at Gandhi chawk. This is cozy place. Heritage looks is main attraction of this cafe. We had ordered coffee which was excellent and chicken pizza. Pizza was okay. This is not actual cafe, rather simple multicuisine restaurant. I came here for bakery items but vain hope.

A quaint little hotel and restaurant with a history that goes back to the colonial period in India, no trip to the serene little town of Dalhousie is complete without a visit here. At the junction of Gandhi Chowk , Cafe Dalhousie with its sea green wooden structure cannot be missed anyway too. The interior with its historical heritage showcased in the photographs on display and its decor telling of a time bygone are just the beginning. The Himachali cuisine it serves is worth every minutes’ wait. Dal Madra ( Rajma) and Dahi chicken, Khatta Mutton ( prepared with anardana) can be enjoyed with rice and tandoori rotis. And if you want to spend a day or two at Dalhousie , then upstairs is the hotel. ( though I cannot give a review for that as I did not visit it). And yes next door is a sweet shop which also serves the elusive Himachali ‘ fast food’ Siddu ( not found easily everywhere). So do add that to your itinerary too. Walk around the little town , visit the Indo- Tibetan Bazaar, the Bhuttico shop selling Himachali shawls, caps and the like, the St. Andrew’s Church next to the GPO, the St. Francis Church at Netaji Subhash Chowk…. and when you get tired return to Cafe Dalhousie for a hot cup of tea. It will make your visit more memorable.

Place looks nice and straight out of British era. Once you see the kitchen and people preparing your food the perception about the place will change. Pav bhaji was good. We asked them what is your best selling thing and he asked us to order Madre. Warning! Don't order it, it is weird tangy and God knows what is flowing over Rajma in the name of ghee.

Full story. Big fight ahead.I advised my friends to visit this restaurant based on my previous experience. Not even a single dish was up to mark. Not even up to basic standards. We were starving. We somehow managed to eat. We assumed it was a mistake on the chef 's end. But it was our biggest mistake. At bill payment time, We told cashier to slash bill by 50% . As the food was not even nearby to standards. I confronted the manager. The manager literally pushed me out of restaurant. His staff was ready to fight me. I recommend everyone not to visit cafe delhousie especially with family. It is not what I remember.

We tried Veg Pizza,Crispy Chicken roll and Chicken steamed momos from here. It's a neat and clean place with a very warm owner which actually gave us confidence to take snacks from here . It's at a prime location so easy to locate. Prices are reasonable, but taste and quantity disappointed us. Nothing stood out. Roll had one very small chicken fry pc with hardly any flavor and uncooked roti Pizza cheese seemed stale and with loads of organo pizza tasted bad Momos Chicken filling was not at all juice ,infact hard and chewy. If they work on food taste ,rest place ,prices,service is all good. But we pay for taste and that was sad.

The momos had an unpleasant odor, and the vegetables and toppings on the pizza were undercooked. The base of the pizza is hard to eat. The stuffing in the momos tasted stale and unappetizing. Definitely surprised by the quality of food. Never tasted KFC type chicken outside KFC franchisee. But surprisingly their chicken actually tasted like KFC chicken. Considering the fact there are no food chain franchises available in that region, this restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy KFC type chicken. Moreover this restaurant is located right inside the heart of Dalhousie market at Gandhi Chowk, so it is easily accessible. But they need to work on cleanliness and hygiene levels though..

Lift: There was no lift at the time of my visit, though the place was still under construction, so that might change in the future. Ambience: The vibe of the restaurant is really nice – calm, cozy, and perfect for a relaxed meal. Food: We tried their wood fire pizza and it was genuinely good. Pricing: It’s slightly on the higher side, but given the quality and ambiance, I found it worth it. The food and ambience of this place is nice. We ordered cheesy garlic bread and wood fired pizza. The eye catcher is the cute little tree house in which you can sit and have your food with the amazing views of Dalhousie. The breezy winds and hot pizza with the mountain views makes the whole experience so dreamy. It is so picturesque and the greenery adds a plus point to the place. Would definitely recommend this cafe and will love to visit again. Service is also good and it can be counted in one of the good cafes in Dalhousie.

We had a pizza and a coffee and both were excellent! Chef Manoj was very polite and asked us about how we would like our pizza. After trying a few places around, I have to say that Stella has the best coffee in the whole of Dalhousie and Khajjiar. 5 stars for ambience, music, food and service. We had different kinds of pizza with hot chocolate and coffees. Food along with amazing service and the atmosphere was kind of crazy with chilly winds arounds. Just visit the place and enjoy the great ambience.

This place also has a small market and a lot of eateries. A bunch of different hotels are available in this area. One of the best places to stay in Dalhousie.

A feeling of solitude and solace is the main thing here. Small but quite beautiful church. It has its own parking area, and a small entrance garden. Located near subhas chowk. Few steep steps uphill road one had to take to enter inside.

Spotted this one on the way back from Khajjiar on the Dalhousie Khajjiar Road(a little after DPS school if one is coming from Dalhousie). It's a cozy, little cafe with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Tables by the huge glass windows lets you enjoy the weather outside while you sip your coffee/tea. The staff is courteous. During my trip, I visited the cafe twice. One evening, I enjoyed my Hazelnut Latte by the big window and the next day I came back for brunch. Started with an Americano, followed by French Toast which tasted well but was a bit dry for my liking. Next was mushroom corn bruschetta which was delicious. Also tried the waffle which was okay. The cafe is perfect for enjoying a quiet moment or a brunch with family/friends. Also Free parking is available right across the cafe.

This cafe is located on the way from Mall Road to Khajjiar just after you pass Dalhousie Public School. Visited Cafe on 21-Jun-2024 in the evening around 6 pm. The weather was excellent and hence sitting in the cafe watching outside the windows was a nice experience. Excellent ambience. Food was very good. We had Waffle with Blueberry topping, Farmhouse pizza, Veg thupka and Spagetti.

Amazing place. Definitely check out the waffles on a stick, they are mind blowing. The staff is really helpful and sweet and the taste is impeccable. Must try in dalhousie

The Waffle was amazing. It's the true definition of taste.. The atmosphere is also happening. It's a must try and I must say that the owner or ig staff are also cool behaviour wise..

Good place to visit with friends and family. All age group will ebjoy here. There is 10 min easy climb to waterfall. Bathing is not allowed here, but you can enjoy water by dipping your lege in cold water, you will feel relaxed. There are many shops to eat snacks.

This is a popular spot for tourists, mainly due to the small waterfall that comes down from the nearby hill. At the time we visited there was very little water. But it had rained heavily the night before, so the streams had more water. The name of the place, I guess, comes from the 5 small bamboo bridges built across the path of the waterfall so people can make their way to the top. The view from the top is pretty. They also have some adventure sports and a guided trek to a nearby hill. Good place to spend an hour or so. The surrounding mountains look beautiful in the morning light.

Month Oct-25 It's a small waterfall area and nothing like that. But the best part is you can enjoy the snacks with music and the sound of water. Don't expect too much.

You’ll find small cafes and stalls nearby for snacks and maggi. Great place to relax, click pictures, and enjoy the sound of flowing water. Can get a bit crowded on weekends. Best visited in the morning hours for a quieter experience.

very nice place nature and people hand in hand. lovely experience. there are rocks placed by mother nature, and then there are manmade things, side by side.. but the placement is really beautiful. again, there are food services available like restaurant and Maggie stalls, etc. there isan ancient temple just opposite of this place.that is also very nice.

Why this is a tourist place ??? Only grass and garbage there is this river flows nearby where you can pass your time bt this is waste of time

Nothing is there, it's all barren and unused. Once upon a time it used to be a lively place. Now there is nothing. Don't waste your time going there, rather go to some other place. Still wishing that the local administration pay attention for its upkeep and make it worth visiting again

Food is just okay. Chinese taste is prepared nicely but options are very less. I will not recommend this restaurant. Cleanliness is not maintained, the table covers are kept dirty, you will find too many spots on table cover.

If you are looking for some authentic Himachali food, this is the only option we could explore. The food is full of variety and scrumptious. The quantity of the portions is apt too. The ambiance is very peaceful, you can spend hours by sitting here, chit-chatting and trying their yummy food.

Awesome food. If you are in Dalhousie, please visit this place. There are so many Sher-e-Punjab, but I am talking about the one with yellow letters banner in Subhash Chowk. Place is bit congested but taste of food will really shadows this complaint. Prices are bit high.

A nice restaurant with classic interiors and a good no of antique items on display with royal sitting arrangement. The Himachali thali was really good and yummy. Their Rajma dish prepared with Desi ghee was really awesome. A must visit for people travelling to Dalhousie.

Eat a very good paneer masala!! The personal are extremely helpful... It was a very cold day and they organised a heater for my frozen body. I had a really nice evening here and can recommend this place very much!!

Excellent Stay at Mongas Hotel Highly Recommended I stayed at Mongas Hotel for 4 nights and 5 days, and my experience was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch throughout. The hotel has multiple in-house cafés that serve great food and provide a cozy ambiance. The live music on the terrace almost every evening made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, and the staff were always polite and ready to help. Another great aspect was their provision of in-house drivers for sightseeing. We were assigned Vikram Singh, who was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and made our local travel experience effortless and enjoyable. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Very good hotel market walkin distance ,church also walkin and very good hospitality start from reception .good experience of bonfire with orchastra night songs. Only need to improve in hot water and for senior citizens lift for up /down which already work in progress.

I visited Cheese and Olive Bar, and while the location was premium and had a great aesthetic, the food was a huge letdown. I spent ₹450 on a chicken burger and ₹250 on a cold coffee, which is fine for a tourist spot, but the taste was nowhere near worth it. The burger was disappointing, and overall, the food quality just didn’t match the price. I didn’t try everything on the menu, so I can’t speak for all the dishes, but based on what I had, I’d rather go to KFC any day. If you’re visiting for the view and ambiance, it’s great, but if food is your priority, you might want to look elsewhere.

Food is good! We have tuna salad for starter and pepperoni pizza for main! Banana shake is yum too. Love the atmosphere and ambience. Staff are attentive! Plays good music in a perfect volume!

I came here after seeing the reviews and ordered their famous wood fried pizza but didn't like the taste, it was not thin crust. However the coffee is great and Ambience is awesome. The view from the cafe is so amazing. We went to cafe by mongas thrice and felt it was way better than cheese n olive.

Great place, great food, great vibes. This is just something you can't miss. Enjoy fresh baked pizzas in the evening and you will have a great golden hour view. I tried their Miss Margherita it was very good and even better with their chilli oil, I also tried their hot chocolate and it is just 🤌

If you happen to visit Dalhousie, this place is a must visit to try good food. We had coffee and pizza here. Both were really good. The terrific trio pizza, served fresh from their wood fired oven, with chilly garlic oil was very delicious. People here are really hospitable and polite. The music and sun lit ambience makes it perfect to spend quality time.

Make no mistake - This property is far (about 10kms away) from Dalhousie. It takes a good 45 mins to travel to this property from Dalhousie driving through a challenging terrain. But once you are past that, a beautiful and scenic experience awaits you. We took the Deluxe Family Room and the view from the room was spectacular. I wish I could wake up to such a scenery every morning! The host and staff are super friendly and provide extremely good service. The food was also really delicious (if you are a non vegetarian, ask for one of their off-the-menu specialties). They also provide driver accommodations and open parking is available. While I generally do consider the location of the property while determining the number of review stars, in this case the positive experience far outweighed the downside of the location and hence the reason for the 5 stars. The property is about a 50 minute drive from Dalhousie Gandhi Chowk, but trust me, it’s absolutely worth it. The food, the view, the calm vibes, even that little treehouse-style dining area, it all adds up to a beautiful experience. The owner and his family are warm and welcoming, which makes the stay even better. I visited with my family just to relax, and it was perfect for that. If your idea of a trip is hopping around markets, this place might feel a bit remote since there isn’t a proper market nearby but if you’re here for peace, good food, and stunning views, you’ll love it as much as I did.
