Very Short Mall road approximately of 500-600 metres. Not much for Shopping but a decent spot for Food. Not a kid friendly spot if you are looking for kids pram.

This place is bit overcrowded at times especially on weekends.. so do avoid if you can on evenings... It has shops for street food has cafe dalhousie and some game parlours for kids... Did not found anything extraordinary here for ahopping which you cannot find in a tier 1 city.

Indo Tibetan Market

Market
The Indo Tibetan Market in Dalhousie is a must-visit spot for tourists. Located near Khajjiar in Gandhi Chowk, this market offers a wide variety of items at great prices. Visitors can shop for locally woven mufflers, caps, coats, jackets, gloves, socks, shawls and mountaineering gear. The market spans both sides of a narrow lane and is covered by a roof, giving it an intriguing vibe.
This place is small but has so many useful things. One can purchase everything from sandles, shoes, tops, dungrees, name plates, bracelet, mobile covers, key chains from thisarket. People are very nice and loving. They arsl for highest amount at the starting bargain a little to get the thing at th correct time. People can speak Hindi frequently from other than Hindi
Amanpreet K — Google review
It's a tibetian refugee market which is quite in a small lane, collection you can get variety of stoles, shaal, pahadi caps, knitted stoles, trendy shoes sandals kaftan, kurti, tibetian items, small trendy cute gadgets and many more stuffs tibetian cuisines fridge magnets etc. We couldn't bargain but you can absolutely try your luck 😉
Swasti R — Google review
The name might make you think it’s full of Tibetan treasures — but honestly, not much Tibetan stuff here. It’s mostly regular stalls selling clothes, souvenirs, and winter wear you’ll find in any hill station market. Also, the lanes are super narrow — in some spots, two people can’t even pass each other without turning sideways like crabs. If it’s crowded, be ready for a mini traffic jam on foot. Good for a quick stroll and some basic shopping, but don’t go in with high expectations.
Shishir K — Google review
You have to check this place carefully or you will miss this place. This is located on the right hand side of the lane leading to khajjiar in Gandhi Chowk. This market is amazing and the best prices and quality of the stuffs are available here. You will get stuffs for mountaineering here. It's worth visiting here and you will end up shopping all your favorites you wanted from a long time. Hence this is a must visit if you're in Dalhousie.
Shubham J — Google review
Visited the Indo Tibetan Market recently, and overall, it's an okay spot—nothing extraordinary, but worth a quick browse if you're in the area. The prices are on the higher side compared to other Tibetan markets I've checked out in places like Delhi or McLeod Ganj; you might end up paying a bit more for those colorful scarves, jewelry, and handicrafts. Bargaining is possible if you're into it, but it's hit or miss—totally up to you whether to haggle or not. The real downside is how congested it gets. The lanes are super narrow, so only one or max two people can squeeze through at a time. If someone approaches from the front, it's like a mini traffic jam—maybe one person coming head-on and one from each side if you're lucky. It feels chaotic, especially on weekends, so go early if you hate crowds. Decent for souvenirs, but don't expect a relaxed shopping vibe.
Dhruv M — Google review
It's a kind of local market near mall road, it can be seen easily from there. It is a market in a small closed road, it's a long but very less wide and gets wider as you go in. Mostly crowded due it's closeness from mall road. Good for non branded or copied product. Bargaining is must.
Piyush G — Google review
A good place for shopping and spending time, also good for non branded and copied products.

Mufflers and caps are woven right infront of you and are sold instantly. The coats jackets gloves socks shawls etc are just amazing here. You will get stuffs for mountaineering also here. It's worth visiting here and you will end up shopping all your favorites you wanted from a long time. Hence this is a must visit if you're in Dalhousie.

Kwality Restaurant is a must-visit place located on Hilltop in Chamba, offering a 360-degree view. The restaurant serves a variety of dishes including spring rolls, dosa, and sizzlers with both Italian and Indian options available on the menu. Visitors can enjoy their meals while taking in the scenic views. With positive reviews from travelers, it's known for its excellent food and picturesque location.
Visited this place for dinner and the food was absolutely drool-worthy! We went with a group of four and ordered vegetarian North Indian dishes. The total bill came to around ₹1700, which is quite reasonable for the quality and quantity served. The location is super convenient, right at Gandhi Chowk, making it easily accessible. Among the options available in the area, this is definitely one of the better restaurants to dine at. If you're in Dalhousie and craving North Indian food, this place is a solid choice!

Excellent eatry in the happening Gandhi Chowk of Dalhousie. The service was very prompt and friendly. Food quality was excellent Honey chilly potatoes with proper crisp and sweet hot tangyness was a good start, followed by ghar ki daal, almost same as home cooked, malai kofta in a peach colored rich curry and butter chicken.. Nan and roti were fresh Odd pick of egg sandwich proved to be excellent too. Overall the food was very tatseful and balanced on spices and richness. The place was full with guests, still from taking our order to serving the food staff was very prompt. Overall a great dinner experience
Nikhil D — Google review
I'm giving this place a glowing review because the food is excellent! I especially appreciate the dedication to authentic flavors. I was initially disappointed that the North Indian options weren't available during my first visit (between 4 and 7 pm), but it was well worth revisiting after 7 pm. Highly recommend!

Good place to have lunch. The place gets crowded during rush hour. They have a good selection of indian, Pan Asian and continental cuisine. Not many tables though..... The staff are polite and the food quality is good.
Aritra B — Google review
We stopped for lunch enroute to Khajjiar. Parking is a little difficult to find during peak hours. Once inside, there is comfortable seating. Service is quick and our food arrived in no time. Flavors are spot on, servers are attentive to food customization and there's a decent washroom. Overall a nice experience in Dalhousie.

Its location offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains, making it a popular spot for photography and quiet contemplation.
Anand U — Google review
St. John's Church, located on Mall Road near Gandhi Chowk in Dalhousie, Himachal Pradesh, is the town's oldest church and a significant historical landmark. Constructed in 1863, it was established after the arrival of Reverend John H. Pratt, who encouraged the Protestant community to build a permanent structure to replace the earlier wooden chapel. The church's architecture reflects Victorian-era design, characterized by stone construction with wooden beams, and bears resemblance to Roman Catholic churches of England, though it serves a Protestant congregation. Inside, visitors can admire stunning stained-glass windows depicting St. John the Baptist and St. Peter. The church also houses a library containing rare books and photographs that offer insights into Dalhousie's colonial past. Regular Sunday services are held, attracting both locals and tourists. Over the years, St. John's Church has become a popular tourist attraction, not only for its religious significance but also for its serene ambiance and historical value. Surrounded by lush greenery and offering panoramic views of the Himalayas, it provides a peaceful retreat for visitors seeking reflection and tranquillity. The church is open daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and entry is free of charge. Its location on Mall Road makes it easily accessible and a convenient stop for those exploring the town.

A spiritual heaven in Dalhousie. Inside, the aura of reverence is palpable. The flickering candles, the aroma of incense, and the soft hymns echoing through the halls create a sense of peace that is truly unparalleled. Moreover, the vibrant street market surrounding the church adds to the charm of the experience. From colorful trinkets to delectable street food, there's something to delight every sense.
Santosh S — Google review
One of the oldest churches in Dalhousie, surrounded by beautiful trees and colonial charm. But during my visit, the church was empty and renovation work was going on, so the peace you’d usually expect was replaced by a lot of construction noise. The structure itself is lovely from the outside, and it’s a nice stop if you’re walking around the area. Hopefully, once the renovation is complete, it’ll regain its peaceful vibe. Good for a quick visit — just not the quiet experience you’d expect from a hill station church (at least for now)
Shishir K — Google review
An architectural gem located in the heart of Dalhousie. Although I’m not a member of the church, I did appreciate the equanimity and beautiful setting
Bobby S — Google review
I would like to say one thing that this church has become my favorite. Going here gives a sense of peace. The nearby place is also very good for visiting and there is a place to stay as well.
Lucifer M — Google review
St. John's Church is a scenic, colonial-era spot located in the heart of Dalhousie. Popular among tourists for its architecture and photo opportunities, it’s often buzzing during the day. For a quieter experience, visit in the late evening when the surroundings are calm and peaceful. A quick, worthwhile stop if you're exploring the town.

This church is one of the famous tourist's attractions in Dalhousie which is just opposite Gandhi chowk. The church was not opened due to heavy snowfall so we managed to get in from the back door. As it was fully occupied by snow it was looking even more beautiful. Definitely, this church is a must-visit place.

Situated on the Dalhousie-Khajjiar Road in Dhupguri, approximately 8 kilometers from the city center, this park offers a peaceful retreat with scenic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The park itself is a unique military-themed attraction dedicated to the valor and sacrifice of the Indian Armed Forces. You’ll find military tanks, aircraft models, and other fascinating exhibits that pay tribute to the heroes of our nation. It’s not just scenic but also educational and inspiring, especially for children and young adults. A great spot for families, history enthusiasts, or anyone looking to spend time in a place that’s both beautiful and meaningful. Definitely a must-visit when in Dalhousie!

Some nice samples of fighter jets or tank or jeeps shown here. Real life view of these defence items or equipment. But it's a good site and kids and elders can enjoy equally if interested in seeing these items Only problem is these exhibits are along the road and there is no park where u can enter. One needs to see all this from the road (where main traffic moves)

I recently dined at a wonderful restaurant in Dalhousie and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food and the overall experience. I ordered Kadhai Paneer, naan, and rice, and every dish was bursting with flavor. The Kadhai Paneer had the perfect blend of spices, the naan was soft and fresh, and the rice complemented the meal perfectly. 🍛🍽️ Each dish was prepared with great care, making the meal truly satisfying. Beyond the food, the restaurant itself has a warm and inviting atmosphere. Last week we visited Dalhousie, mid June 23.This cafe is centrally located. This was very close to our hotel so we enjoyed eating here a few times. I liked fried rice and Manchurian with gravy. All the mocktails were delicious. There are many shops near the cafe, selling souvenirs. Ambience is good. Interior is classy having cosy feel. .Service is quick. Reasonable prices. A must visit place while strolling in the busy market to enjoy coffee, soft drinks, snacks Or meals.

A quaint little hotel and restaurant with a history that goes back to the colonial period in India, no trip to the serene little town of Dalhousie is complete without a visit here. At the junction of Gandhi Chowk , Cafe Dalhousie with its sea green wooden structure cannot be missed anyway too. The interior with its historical heritage showcased in the photographs on display and its decor telling of a time bygone are just the beginning. The Himachali cuisine it serves is worth every minutes’ wait. Dal Madra ( Rajma) and Dahi chicken, Khatta Mutton ( prepared with anardana) can be enjoyed with rice and tandoori rotis. And if you want to spend a day or two at Dalhousie , then upstairs is the hotel. ( though I cannot give a review for that as I did not visit it). And yes next door is a sweet shop which also serves the elusive Himachali ‘ fast food’ Siddu ( not found easily everywhere). So do add that to your itinerary too. Walk around the little town , visit the Indo- Tibetan Bazaar, the Bhuttico shop selling Himachali shawls, caps and the like, the St. Andrew’s Church next to the GPO, the St. Francis Church at Netaji Subhash Chowk…. and when you get tired return to Cafe Dalhousie for a hot cup of tea. It will make your visit more memorable.

Place looks nice and straight out of British era. Once you see the kitchen and people preparing your food the perception about the place will change. Pav bhaji was good. We asked them what is your best selling thing and he asked us to order Madre. Warning! Don't order it, it is weird tangy and God knows what is flowing over Rajma in the name of ghee.

Full story. Big fight ahead.I advised my friends to visit this restaurant based on my previous experience. Not even a single dish was up to mark. Not even up to basic standards. We were starving. We somehow managed to eat. We assumed it was a mistake on the chef 's end. But it was our biggest mistake. At bill payment time, We told cashier to slash bill by 50% . As the food was not even nearby to standards. I confronted the manager. The manager literally pushed me out of restaurant. His staff was ready to fight me. I recommend everyone not to visit cafe delhousie especially with family. It is not what I remember.

If you’re in Dalhousie you’ll see this place once for sure. The best part about this cafe is its location! Cafe Dalhousie is located Right in the middle of Dalhousie at Gandhi Square. Coming to the food. They’ve lots of options to try from. We tried a few but the spices were not to our taste. Didn’t order much to make an opinion about the quality of food though. We loved their Chai! Do try it if you’ve spare time and need hot cup of Tea. Food : 6/10 Beverages: 8/10 Location: 10/10 Price: 6/10

We tried Veg Pizza,Crispy Chicken roll and Chicken steamed momos from here. It's a neat and clean place with a very warm owner which actually gave us confidence to take snacks from here . It's at a prime location so easy to locate. Prices are reasonable, but taste and quantity disappointed us. Nothing stood out. Roll had one very small chicken fry pc with hardly any flavor and uncooked roti Pizza cheese seemed stale and with loads of organo pizza tasted bad Momos Chicken filling was not at all juice ,infact hard and chewy. If they work on food taste ,rest place ,prices, service is all good. But we pay for taste and that was sad.

Nice place for small bytes, fast food. Gulab jamun or tandoori chai etc. Many other options available too. They accept cash n UPI

We ordered veg wraps and a veg pizza. The taste was good but gave 2 stars for food because my son found a thread in the pizza while eating it (pic attached).

Loved the fried chicken here. Only place that serves good chicken in the area. Cool servers, too. Was looking forward to meeting the owner after reading all the spicy comebacks on the comments but maybe next time?
Rachel A — Google review
The momos had an unpleasant odor, and the vegetables and toppings on the pizza were undercooked. The base of the pizza is hard to eat. The stuffing in the momos tasted stale and unappetizing. The restaurant was suffocating making the experience disappointing and a poor use of time and money, leaving us in a bad mood.🤢 Not recommended even for free. Kindly avoid to visit this place if you want make your trip happy.

Definitely surprised by the quality of food. Never tasted KFC type chicken outside KFC franchisee. But surprisingly their chicken actually tasted like KFC chicken. Considering the fact there are no food chain franchises available in that region, this restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy KFC type chicken. Moreover this restaurant is located right inside the heart of Dalhousie market at Gandhi Chowk, so it is easily accessible. But they need to work on cleanliness and hygiene levels though..

This eatery can give kfc a run for its money. Tried the fried chicken and burger, my whole family has just fallen in love with this place. Amazing taste, they even have place to sit and u can even carry a take away. A must visit if u love fried chicken. They take around 10 to 12mins to prepare ur order so u just have to keep a little patience

Stella Lounge in Dalhousie is a charming dining spot that offers an enchanting experience for visitors. With its inviting outdoor seating, guests can savor their meals while soaking in the refreshing mountain air and stunning views. The menu is impressively varied, featuring options for everyone, including vegan dishes, lasagna, pasta, and a delightful array of Italian cuisine alongside special drinks and coffees.
I was intrigued by the 4.9 rating with over 700 reviews, so I had to check it out—and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely amazing, the vibe was perfect, and the cleanliness was top-notch. It's also pet-friendly, which is a huge plus. The staff were great—so sweet, like apples! I wholeheartedly recommend this place; it's a must-visit!

I recently visited this restaurant in Dalhousie and had a pleasant experience overall. Parking: Available, which is a big plus in a hill station like Dalhousie. Lift: There was no lift at the time of my visit, though the place was still under construction, so that might change in the future. Ambience: The vibe of the restaurant is really nice – calm, cozy, and perfect for a relaxed meal. Food: We tried their wood fire pizza and it was genuinely good. Pricing: It’s slightly on the higher side, but given the quality and ambiance, I found it worth it. Overall, a nice place to visit if you’re in Dalhousie and looking for good food in a great setting.

Very bad experience here. We ordered cheese garlic bread.. it was burnt from side and not roasted from beneath. Also it was served cold. Did not expect this from Stella being a big name. Pizza was Okayish . Could be better. We were very disappointed coming here. Please improve your food.

The food and ambience of this place is nice. We ordered cheesy garlic bread and wood fired pizza. The eye catcher is the cute little tree house in which you can sit and have your food with the amazing views of Dalhousie. The breezy winds and hot pizza with the mountain views makes the whole experience so dreamy. It is so picturesque and the greenery adds a plus point to the place. Would definitely recommend this cafe and will love to visit again. Service is also good and it can be counted in one of the good cafes in Dalhousie.

We had a pizza and a coffee and both were excellent! Chef Manoj was very polite and asked us about how we would like our pizza. After trying a few places around, I have to say that Stella has the best coffee in the whole of Dalhousie and Khajjiar. 5 stars for ambience, music, food and service. Will definitely be returning on my next visit to Dalhousie. Keep up the good work team Stella!!

If you ever need a scenic view with any kind of meal this is a place to be. Stella Bistro Lounge offers an amazing food option with a view and tree house place to dine in. We had different kinds of pizza with hot chocolate and coffees. Food along with amazing service and the atmosphere was kind of crazy with chilly winds arounds. Just visit the place and enjoy the great ambience.

Situated at an elevation, Subhash Chowk provides panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and snow-covered hills. The area is known for its serene atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for photography and relaxation. Visitors often highlight the breathtaking vistas, especially after fresh snowfall, which enhances the landscape's beauty. The people there were very good and cooperative and the food was also very good.We ate maggie and tea which was very good.

Visited on 21-Oct-2015 For the Walking Sites View, you can explore this Chowk. 1. Good statue of Mr. Bose, but the area needs to be maintained. 2. It's only a viewpoint. 3. Very pathetic toilet facility for tourists.

Beautiful place with amazing views. This whole place is so clean and very well maintained, you can get taxis from here for different locations in Dalhousie. This place also has a small market and a lot of eateries. A bunch of different hotels are available in this area. One of the best places to stay in Dalhousie.

St. Francis Church, located in the Moti Tiba area near Subhash Chowk, is a historic Catholic church dating back to 1894. The church boasts Victorian-era architecture and is surrounded by serene Deodar trees. Inside, visitors can admire Belgian glass and intricate stonework. The tranquil surroundings make it a prominent monument in Dalhousie, offering dioramas depicting the Stations of the Cross. While there may not be many attractions in Dalhousie, St.
Visited during Christmas and was a beautiful place to be at. We need to remove our footwear outside to visit the church (just to let you all know). The walk towards the church is also beautiful. Don’t forget to click pics at the viewpoint just across the church
Varun P — Google review
St. Francis is a must-visit Catholic Church open for visitors all through the day and can be walked / entered till the altar. Quaint, picturesque, and historical architecture. While the North India St. John's Church 2km from this place is in ruins and not allowed to go till the altar ; this is open for visitors.
Rebecca L — Google review
A peaceful and charming old church that gives you a feel of colonial-era Dalhousie. St. Francis Church is surrounded by tall deodar trees and offers a quiet escape from the usual tourist rush. The architecture is simple yet beautiful, and the stained glass windows add a lovely touch of color and history. It’s a great place to sit in silence, light a candle, or just soak in the calm atmosphere. You don’t need too much time to explore — it’s a quick stop, but definitely worth it if you enjoy heritage sites or just want some quiet time. The church is located near Subhash Chowk, so it’s easy to reach on foot. Sometimes, it’s closed during certain hours, so check timings before going. Perfect for a short, serene break during your Dalhousie visit.

This Victorian-style church is a very popular tourist spot in Dalhousie. Located in front of Subhash Chandra Bose statue in Subhash chawk, dalhousie. This church is surrounded by deodar trees and the entrance staircase is very beautiful. The inside of the church is made of wood and Belgian glass. A very calm and peaceful place to spend a morning in Dalhousie.

We visited the church on Maunday Thursday 2025. Complete solitude and with such tranquility, ensured that we spent quality time in reflection and prayer. One can also appreciate the elegant architectural details of an era gone by. Limited parking available, with the church at an elevation from the road and accessible by road and steps.

St. Francis Church in Dalhousie has a rich history that dates back to the late 19th century. * Construction (1894): The church was constructed in the year 1894 by a collaborative effort of Army and Civil Officers and local civilians. * Architecture: It is a prime example of typical British or Victorian-era architecture, bearing a strong resemblance to many famous churches in England. Its design features intricate stonework, beautiful glasswork (including Belgian glass), and sometimes exquisite wooden ceilings. * Maintenance and Regulation: Since its construction, the church has been maintained and regulated by the Catholic Diocese of Jalandhar. * Significance: It stands as a prominent monument in Dalhousie, reflecting the colonial past and the religious life of that era. It has also become a significant tourist attraction, drawing visitors with its serene atmosphere, historical charm, and architectural beauty. * Current Status: Despite being over a century old, the church remains well-preserved and continues to be a place of worship, holding regular Sunday masses. It's in Subhas Chok. Must enjoy this historic, beautiful, and calm place.

A feeling of solitude and solace is the main thing here. Small but quite beautiful church. It has its own parking area, and a small entrance garden. Located near subhas chowk. Few steep steps uphill road one had to take to enter inside.

Spotted this one on the way back from Khajjiar on the Dalhousie Khajjiar Road(a little after DPS school if one is coming from Dalhousie). It's a cozy, little cafe with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Tables by the huge glass windows lets you enjoy the weather outside while you sip your coffee/tea. The staff is courteous. During my trip, I visited the cafe twice. One evening, I enjoyed my Hazelnut Latte by the big window and the next day I came back for brunch. Started with an Americano, followed by French Toast which tasted well but was a bit dry for my liking. Next was mushroom corn bruschetta which was delicious. Also tried the waffle which was okay. The cafe is perfect for enjoying a quiet moment or a brunch with family/friends. Also Free parking is available right across the cafe.

Panchpula Waterfall

3.9
(3114)
Panchpula, meaning "five bridges," is a breathtaking waterfall in Dalhousie where five streams converge to form a magnificent cascade. The foamy waters of this waterfall are the town's primary water source. A visit to Dalhousie would be incomplete without experiencing the rejuvenating and relaxing ambiance of Panchpula.
I have visited this place in May 2025. Near Panchpula waterfall, there is a short easy hike to the Ganji pahari, you'll get to see 360° view from there. The waterfall itself is also very beautiful and calm. Boxing 300 m from the parking and you will reach the waterfall, there are some shops and cafe and you literally can have your food amidst the water. There are no tickets or any entry fees. I personally would suggest to go in the morning part (summer) so that the sunshine doesn't bother your experience. Overall worth experience!

This is a popular spot for tourists, mainly due to the small waterfall that comes down from the nearby hill. At the time we visited there was very little water. But it had rained heavily the night before, so the streams had more water. The name of the place, I guess, comes from the 5 small bamboo bridges built across the path of the waterfall so people can make their way to the top. The view from the top is pretty. They also have some adventure sports and a guided trek to a nearby hill. Good place to spend an hour or so. The surrounding mountains look beautiful in the morning light.

FRIENDS SHER E PUNJAB is a popular Punjabi restaurant in Dalhousie known for its diverse menu featuring Punjabi thali, authentic Himachali dishes, snacks, pizzas, burgers, Chinese cuisine, appetizers, and delightful sweet dishes. The portions are generous and the ambiance is peaceful and inviting. The restaurant offers top-class service with kind staff members. Visitors have praised the delicious Chicken and Paneer dishes.
Visited on a chilling evening with a starving stomach and seated next to the window which opens up to the valley where you can watch playful misty action. The atmosphere of the restaurant was so cool that I forgot the tiredness of travelling for the past 28 Hours in a jiffy. They have clamped up 10-12 tables in the restaurant and have only 4 tables with a great view of the valley. Consider yourself lucky if you get those tables. The ambience is quite upscale but I feel the hygiene factor needs to be improved a bit. The service was prompt and professional. I got attended quickly and food was served on time. Being vegetarian I had Veg hot & sour soup and pyaaz Paratha. The soup tasted too good and complimented the weather. Pyaaz Paratha was properly made in tandoori style and the crispy outer layer with a good amount of stuffing tasted nice. Definitely a great food experience. They do accept cards & UPI. But at the time of my visit they insisted on paying through UPI. They have a small toilet and wash area with a soap dispenser. The cleanliness of the washroom was good. Overall, I really loved the place and I highly recommend it if you are looking for a good blend of tasty food, good service and a great view. -BeingBakasura

Eat a very good paneer masala!! The personal are extremely helpful... It was a very cold day and they organised a heater for my frozen body. I had a really nice evening here and can recommend this place very much!!

Nestled in a picturesque setting, Mongas Hotel & Resort is an elegant retreat that combines contemporary comfort with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Since its establishment in 1998, this hotel has prioritized outdoor experiences, offering guests opportunities for camping trips and physical activities to connect with nature. The spacious rooms are designed for relaxation, while the open-air restaurant serves delightful international cuisine, including wood-fired pizzas that create memorable dining moments.
The hotel is just 200 metres walk from the market. The vibe of the hotel is to enjoy for! I had some concerns with the room which was provided, however the owner sorted out the issue promptly and made sure we were comfortable. The hotel serves amazing food with lots of varieties. They have live music in the evening with a great view.

Excellent Stay at Mongas Hotel Highly Recommended I stayed at Mongas Hotel for 4 nights and 5 days, and my experience was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch throughout. The hotel has multiple in-house cafés that serve great food and provide a cozy ambiance. The live music on the terrace almost every evening made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, and the staff were always polite and ready to help. Another great aspect was their provision of in-house drivers for sightseeing. We were assigned Vikram Singh, who was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and made our local travel experience effortless and enjoyable. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained property. This property is thoughtfully designed and impeccably maintained, offering a comfortable and visually appealing stay. The rooms are kept in excellent condition, providing a relaxing environment for guests with a good valley view. Conveniently located just a short distance from Gandhi Chowk, it offers easy access to local attractions. I highly recommend considering this hotel when staying in Dalhousie.

Very good hotel market walkin distance ,church also walkin and very good hospitality start from reception .good experience of bonfire with orchastra night songs. Only need to improve in hot water and for senior citizens lift for up /down which already work in progress.

Mongas is a good choice for a restaurant and hotel stay—overall, it's a good experience with a nice mix of dining and lodging options. They even have a cozy cafe on-site, which is perfect for a casual coffee or light bite. The highlight for me was their wood-fired pizzas; they're freshly made with quality toppings and come out crispy and flavorful. Everything tasted great, from the starters to the mains. The ambience inside is fantastic—warm lighting, comfortable seating, and a relaxed vibe that makes it ideal for families or couples. From the hotel rooms, the views are stunning, especially if you're overlooking any scenic spots nearby. Rooms themselves are comfy with clean linens and modern amenities, so you get a restful stay. That said, prices are on the higher side, so it's more of a treat than everyday spot. If you're looking for quality food, great views, and a comfortable room, definitely give Mongas a try—you won't be disappointed.

Cheese n Olive bar in Dalhousie offers more than just a dining experience; it's a treat for the senses. The star of their menu, the Hakuna Matata pizza, is a culinary masterpiece wood-fired to perfection. Visitors praise the hospitable staff and delightful ambiance with sunlit views of the hills. The restaurant is highly recommended for any occasion, whether it's a dinner date, family gathering, or hanging out with friends.
Excellent place for Pizza and pastas. Beautiful decor, very pleasing interiors, welcoming staff and excellent pizzas. We tried Margrita and Love triangle ( with a mod as they didnt have spinach, which they replaced with bell peppers. A worthy angle in the love triangle. The infused olive oil was a nice touch to add to the Pizza ( have not seen it often in Indian Pizzerias. Pasta alfredo was good. Although Im not a fan of alfredo sauce however the dish was tasty and my family loved it. The servers were prompt and well behaved And the wood fire Oven really made a diffference. PS They made Pizza from scratch and that adds freshness and taste.

I visited Cheese and Olive Bar, and while the location was premium and had a great aesthetic, the food was a huge letdown. I spent ₹450 on a chicken burger and ₹250 on a cold coffee, which is fine for a tourist spot, but the taste was nowhere near worth it. The burger was disappointing, and overall, the food quality just didn’t match the price. I didn’t try everything on the menu, so I can’t speak for all the dishes, but based on what I had, I’d rather go to KFC any day. If you’re visiting for the view and ambiance, it’s great, but if food is your priority, you might want to look elsewhere.

Food is good! We have tuna salad for starter and pepperoni pizza for main! Banana shake is yum too. Love the atmosphere and ambience. Staff are attentive! Plays good music in a perfect volume!

Cheese and olive has such a calming vibe and their wood fired pizzas are a delight . The crust was perfectly crisp, the flavours felt fresh and comforting, and that subtle smoky touch made it even better . A lovely spot to unwind over good food. 🍕💫

I came here after seeing the reviews and ordered their famous wood fried pizza but didn't like the taste, it was not thin crust. However the coffee is great and Ambience is awesome. The view from the cafe is so amazing. We went to cafe by mongas thrice and felt it was way better than cheese n olive.

Great place, great food, great vibes. This is just something you can't miss. Enjoy fresh baked pizzas in the evening and you will have a great golden hour view. I tried their Miss Margherita it was very good and even better with their chilli oil, I also tried their hot chocolate and it is just 🤌

If you happen to visit Dalhousie, this place is a must visit to try good food. We had coffee and pizza here. Both were really good. The terrific trio pizza, served fresh from their wood fired oven, with chilly garlic oil was very delicious. People here are really hospitable and polite. The music and sun lit ambience makes it perfect to spend quality time.

Had a wonderful experience staying here. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the host was super friendly and welcoming. The rooms were sparkling clean more than just as shown in the pictures. Awesome view from the room, enjoyed watching a beautiful sunset in the Mountains during my stay. 🌅 What made it special were the host Omkarji, they treated us like family and even arranged medicine when I wasn't feeling well. Truly grateful for their warmth and care. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting. 😊

Make no mistake - This property is far (about 10kms away) from Dalhousie. It takes a good 45 mins to travel to this property from Dalhousie driving through a challenging terrain. But once you are past that, a beautiful and scenic experience awaits you. We took the Deluxe Family Room and the view from the room was spectacular. I wish I could wake up to such a scenery every morning! The host and staff are super friendly and provide extremely good service. The food was also really delicious (if you are a non vegetarian, ask for one of their off-the-menu specialties). They also provide driver accommodations and open parking is available. While I generally do consider the location of the property while determining the number of review stars, in this case the positive experience far outweighed the downside of the location and hence the reason for the 5 stars. Month of visit: October Last Week 2025

My stay at Hill Mount View Home Stay was absolutely wonderful! The view from the windows was breathtaking — I witnessed one of the most beautiful sunsets ever. The hosts and people around were so warm and welcoming that it truly felt like home. Every small detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making the stay extremely comfortable. And the best part — it’s a pet-friendly place! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, comfort, and stunning views. 🌄🐾

The property is about a 50 minute drive from Dalhousie Gandhi Chowk, but trust me, it’s absolutely worth it. The food, the view, the calm vibes, even that little treehouse-style dining area, it all adds up to a beautiful experience. The owner and his family are warm and welcoming, which makes the stay even better. I visited with my family just to relax, and it was perfect for that. If your idea of a trip is hopping around markets, this place might feel a bit remote since there isn’t a proper market nearby but if you’re here for peace, good food, and stunning views, you’ll love it as much as I did. Will visit again

We had the most wonderful experience staying here! The food was absolutely amazing — every meal felt homemade with so much love and care. The service was exceptional, and the people were so kind and welcoming that it truly felt like we were away from home but still at home. Every little detail was taken care of, and the warmth of the hosts made our stay so special. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, great food, and genuine hospitality. ❤️
