Yoghurt House is a popular spot in Sagada known for its wide selection of homemade yogurt flavors, including strawberry, honey, banana, and granola. In addition to their delicious yogurts, the restaurant also offers hearty meals like spicy chicken curry, pan-fried beef, and open pork sandwiches. This cozy eatery has become a favorite among locals and tourists alike due to its warm ambiance with wooden interiors and charming decor.
We had a great meal and experience here. We ordered, Baked Chicken, Homemade hot chocolate drink, Bolognese, Yoghurt granola with fruits, Plain yoghurt, and Roasted Pork. The homemade how chocolate is a must try. Their food was not quite expensive. They have big servings. Their yoghurt was authentic among the other yoghurt we tried but not to my taste since it is sour.
DDA A — Google review
The restaurant is nicely located not far from the centre of Sagada and also has a balcony overlooking the main street, so a perfect location. I ordered the rosti dish and a strawberry yogurt drink. The rosti was disappointing, too dry and too oily, although the taste was fine. The yogurt drink was very thin and a bit sharper than I was expecting. Overall, I was a bit disappointed considering all the good reviews.

After hiking for 6 hrs, we came here super hungry and it did not disappoint! We ordered the Sautéed Beef, Spicy Chicken Curry, Aglio-Olio, Roasted Eggplant with Basil, and the Sweet & Spicy Lava Chicken with veg salad. Every dish was flavorful, the servings were generous, and it was exactly the meal we needed after a long day. The place has a cozy vibe. Definitely a must-visit in Sagada, we’ll be back for sure! ❤️

Super tasty dishes, my family loved their pasta and baked chicken, very flavourful. I also loved their chicken curry, very creamy and the spice is just right.

Sagada Yogurt House is a great spot for a relaxing meal with a lovely ambiance, especially on the terrace. It's perfect for passing the time, particularly in the afternoon when many guests are around, yet it still feels cozy and welcoming. Their desserts, especially the yogurt, are a delightful treat after a good meal. This place is also ideal for dating couples looking for a peaceful and charming setting. I highly recommend visiting if you're in Sagada!

We got mixed fruits with yogurt. The yogurt itself was delicious, but some fruits (especially the banana) seemed to have been chopped hours before and were a bit dry.
Allan D — Google review
Their food serving is very generous, and it tastes good. I recommend this place, worth the try.

The food is okay. Nothing special on the yogurt. A bit of pricey for me. The atmosphere is quite nice.

Salt N Pepper Diner is a cozy and underrated restaurant located in Sagada, Philippines. It offers a variety of local specialties such as Chicken Inutom, Etag Sisig, and Dinakiw rice meals at affordable prices. The menu also includes international dishes like ramen, quesadillas, and tortilla rolls. Additionally, the diner serves appetizers like nachos, buffalo wings, calamari, and more.
Perfect blend of great food warm service and an inviting atmosphere. I only try one of their standout dishes is the Canton which is generously portioned making it ideal for 2-4 people. At such a budget-friendly price it’s an absolute steal. The flavor is nothing short of amazing each bite is a delicious treat that keeps you coming back for more. Vibe of the place is another highlight. It’s chill cozy and perfect for unwinding. The crew adds to the charm they’re incredibly friendly approachable and always ready to make your experience memorable. For the best experience, I highly recommend visiting at night. The relaxed ambiance under the night sky truly elevates the charm of this wonderful spot.

If you are exploring for food and want to support the locals, I would suggest to try this place. We ordered the etag sisig and ramen. The etag ramen was really nice for me because of its unique smoky flavor; although a bit salty but you know it’s “ETAG”. The sisig was just okay; the etag flavor is weak. But hey, try and try lang. The service was also welcoming.
Dudong ( — Google review
The Etag Pizza was delicious, a must have!! Ordered their Chopsuey too, the veggies were fresh and crunchy with chicken in mushroom sauce. So yummy.
Joseph G — Google review
Appreciate the food in all fairness. For a group of 9, we paid a total of around 5k. I would say the prices are as same as in Manila. A bit overpriced but food servings is above average. The vibe at night is so nice. Staff are welcoming. Pansit Canton is highly recommended. Tried the steak but was well done.
Karlo — Google review
One of the best. Highly recommend the cookie crumble yogurt (200php) - a taste of traditionally fermented yogurt with similar taste to a rice wine (bigger portion pls 😋). The fries overload (280php) was also worth the price given the portion.

Salt and Pepper in Sagada offers a memorable dining experience, but it can get quite busy, especially on weekends. The restaurant was packed when we visited, and we ended up waiting over 40 minutes for our food to be served. While the wait was long, the food did not disappoint. The ingredients used were fresh and the portions were generous. The ambiance is cozy, and the staff are friendly, but it’s clear that this place attracts a lot of visitors due to its popularity. If you’re in a rush or prefer a quieter dining experience, it might be best to visit during off-peak hours. Overall, the meal was worth the wait, but be prepared for a bit of a delay, especially on busy days.
HLC M — Google review
Their tantanmen tasted like a corn soup It overpowered the broth. The food quality wasn’t worth the price.
Melody P — Google review
Food was okay. We had Shoyu Ramen, cheese fries and etag pizza. We were so disappointed with the Ramen, as Ramen lover this ramen is the worst. It was bland, boiled egg taste different like it's spoiled, soup is not umami, noodles is so soggy. Etag pizza is just okay but not special. Thankful that the cheese fries is good, i love it. Staff are approachable. Service is good. Resto ambiance is good. It's just the food that's bit failing.

Sagada Brew is a popular spot known for its freshly brewed coffee and delectable cakes. While the prices may be slightly higher than other places, they offer a unique experience with their vegetable sides and diverse breakfast menu. From toast and oatmeal to Filipino-style dishes like beef tapa and sweet pork sausage, there's something for everyone. It's a must-visit for those looking to savor quality coffee and delightful treats in Sagada.
That's such a lovely place! Loved the food! Nothing to complain about. P.S.: they could exchange the glass cups for new ones, it's kinda nice and clean when there's new transparent glasses on the table

Love the experience here. I'm looking for a quiet relax chill place and this one hits the spot. Lave cake is good and the lemon chapple pie ALA mode is very good! Chit chat with I think the owner and she is very accommodating and friendly. Looking forward to coming back here again in the future
Gelo C — Google review
The coffee was underwhelming, and the lava cake was just okay—on the sweeter side for our preference. The staff were generally fine, though one seemed slightly put off when we presented a senior citizen card for the discount, even though she appeared to be a senior herself. A bit more courtesy would have gone a long way. We didn’t get to try the other food items, but we did overhear nearby guests mentioning that their meals lacked flavor. Hopefully, this is something that can be improved in the future. That said, the ambiance was really nice and made the experience more pleasant overall.
Mariel M — Google review
The place is a vibe, and the owner (I think she was the owner) explained their process of making coffee, which was nice. I ordered a hot americano, and they gave me an iced one. Nonetheless, I think the coffee’s good and refreshing—see the photos.
Kent C — Google review
We had brewed coffee, caramel machiatto, cappucino and lava cake overload. Brewed coffee was bland, caramel machiatto tastes milk only, too sweet. Cappucino tastes 3in1 coffee. Lava cake is good. Service is not so good. Server was confused with the orders of the customers. The middle aged girl on the cashier is not so approachable when we follow up on our to go order like was it our fault? Service could've been improved.
Heyitsme L — Google review
I dont know. This is somewhat “meh”. I was expecting more. The place is good, I love the ambiance. However, the service could still be improved. The cashier goes back to the kitchen from time to time (hence there is a long line). The waiting time is also long (I only saw one staff/waitress). For the food, we had lemon cake and french press and brewed coffee. For the lemon cake, it is okay. But it is not something that I will order again. My friend on the other hand said it was good but would have been better without the ice cream. For the coffee, it is okay, however, my friend told me (the one who order brewed) that the other brewed coffee we had in another nearby resto is better.
Byron G — Google review
Sagada Brew offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. Their melting moments dessert is a must-try—it's simply divine! However, the wait for our food was a bit longer than expected. While the interior is charming and the dessert is delicious, the food's price point is a bit steep compared to the taste. Despite the longer wait times, the overall ambiance makes it a decent place to visit.
Rena — Google review
The atmosphere here is warm and inviting, making it a comfortable place to relax and enjoy a meal. Conveniently located along the main road, it’s easy to find and accessible for both locals and tourists. The food is flavorful and satisfying, though it leans slightly towards the sweeter side.

Restaurant
Sagada Lemon Pie House is a must-visit spot in Sagada, known for its delectable lemon pie. Owned by Joseph and Katrina Daoas, the restaurant offers a laid-back atmosphere with low tables for a casual dining experience. The original recipe from Joseph's mother adds to the authenticity of the pies, which are freshly baked and live up to their reputation. It's a popular choice among both locals and travelers, making it an essential part of any Sagada experience.
lemon pie is reeeaaally good! lemonade is also made from fresh lemon juice. went here for brunch and was not disappointed. food is good, again lemon pie is great, so far this is the only restaurant in town that I know that accepts Gcash as payment, and the owner is very hospitable and approachable despite the busyness of taking lots of pie orders.
Oli G — Google review
The lemon pie was decent but could use a better balance of tartness and sweetness. The crust was well-made, and we found the egg pie more enjoyable. Perhaps our expectations for the lemon pie were higher. The café had a cozy ambiance, and the staff were warm and welcoming.
Jeric B — Google review
I loved and enjoyed the vibes of the shop. The only comment would be the serving time as it could take slow if there are people on the line. The lemon pie is delicious. Will definitely come back.
Mico R — Google review
It was raining, so we stayed here to find solace through coffee and dessert. We ordered the lemon pie, egg pie, and brewed coffee. The egg pie was the relative standout. I personally liked that the lemons are locally sourced from Sagada itself. I liked it also that we were asked to take off our shoes before going in, and the woodware was incredible.
Kent C — Google review
Overall, didn’t really enjoy the food here Im so sorry. For the lemon pie, we got two slices but they both tasted different. One was zesty and the other had a weak lemon texture. Seems like a consistency issue. The crust was also so dry and hard and didn’t really make me want to finish the whole slice. The egg pie was better tho in terms of crust, texture, and flavor. There are three seating areas. Alfresco sitting, which is a vibe given the cold weather. One area is with short tables where you have to sit on the floor which is so not friendly for people with arthritis (they seat most people here since the restaurant was not full). Last seating area had table and chairs which honestly the most comfortable one with a better ambiance, (reminds you of your grandparents house) but we weren’t allowed to sit there.
Karlee C — Google review
The best lemon pie I've ever had! I absolutely love the place, the food, the coffee and the service.
Giovan A — Google review
Sagada Lemon Pie House offers more than just their signature lemon pies—it’s a place where you feel genuinely welcomed, even by their furry resident! I was greeted by their adorable pug dog who was roaming outside and, to my delight, literally asked me to open the door so he could come in. He’s incredibly friendly and absolutely loves belly rubs, adding a personal and heartwarming touch to the visit. As for the lemon pie, it was perfectly balanced between tart and sweet, with a flaky crust that complements the zesty filling beautifully. However, given that we were their first customers for the day when we visited in the morning, the pie wasn’t freshly baked—it was served cold, which slightly diminished the experience. Despite this, the flavors were still great. The rustic charm of the café, combined with the cozy ambiance and friendly staff (and pug!), makes this a must-visit spot in Sagada. Just a tip: it might be better to visit later in the day when the pies might be fresher.
Haniel C — Google review
This is a lemon house, but still the lemon pie is great, the lemonade is unlike those in the malls, really fresh lemons and the lemon tea is exceptional. We didn't have a full course meal, so i can't tell. But for what it's worth, their lemon products are really great. But why the 3 stars, for one they didn't have stocks because we really loved the lemon juice and we cannot take out. The way they desinged the place compliments their advertised product. But i can just only imagine how it goes if they run out of lemon supposing they don't have enough for take out. But if you're after a quick bite and longing for refreshments after a long hike in the caves and mountains, this is a must supposing they don't run out of lemons and their lemon drinks are just the same price that of a bottled water considering it's healthy lemon extract.

The Hanging Coffins of Sagada, located in the Philippines, are a unique and captivating sight. This ancient tradition dates back over 2000 years and is attributed to the indigenous Igorot people. The coffins are placed high on limestone cliffs as part of an elaborate burial custom. It is believed that this practice brings the deceased closer to heaven and protects their bodies from being disturbed by animals or other tribes.
A remarkable place. Our guide Arther was excellent, a local, provided loads of great information the walk is not too challenging ( we are seniors), well kept and clean. A great place to visit for a few hours. Walkable from Sagada tourist office.
HeatSand C — Google review
The famous Hanging Coffins of Sagada are one of the region’s most iconic and culturally significant attractions. To reach the site, you’ll need to take a short trek down a well-marked trail, which is manageable even for beginners. The path offers a mix of scenic views and fascinating insights into the local traditions along the way. Though the hike requires a bit of effort, it’s definitely worth it once you arrive and witness this unique burial practice that reflects the rich heritage of the Igorot people. A must-see for anyone interested in history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes.
Francis B — Google review
The hanging coffins are a really fascinating local custom. Although the most famous coffins are the ones placed on the mountain side. It's worthwhile getting a guide as you get more information about the history of this practice. The valley is also the site of caves which contain coffins. A guide will lead you to a couple.

One of the must-visit places in Sagada is the Hanging Coffins—a remarkable site with a rich history behind this unique practice. It’s an amazing experience that made me feel deeply connected to my ancestors.
Romeo A — Google review
It's a wonderful place, if you're looking for some trail vibe, because it's a lot difficult to climb some rocks and pass through some tiny passages, especially for those who is not used to... But you will be okay, just rest and go slowly. Interesting history btw
André F — Google review
You will be amazed not just by the views but also the history of townsfolk and the history of hanging coffins. Burials have different spots, this famous area is the specific spot for tourism but before you reach the spot you still need to trek and hike for 10 mins which is a bit difficult due to the steep stairs might be a hassle for others such as senior citizens and some that have problems in knees, but overall it is a worthy experience.
Akuseru P — Google review
We heard interesting stories about the hanging coffins from our tour guide. While some might not support the idea of the mandatory tour guide, I believe this is one of those tourism activities that are worth supporting because visitors can learn something straight from a local (though these info are all available online).

Sagada Weaving is a must-visit souvenir shop in the picturesque Sagada, Philippines. It showcases the traditional weaving artistry of the Mountain Province, offering a diverse selection of handwoven textiles such as blankets and scarves crafted by local artisans. The shop reflects the rich cultural heritage and skilled craftsmanship of the Igorot people. Established in 1968, it is known for practicing both traditional and ethnic weaving techniques using purely spun polyester on backstrap and upright looms.
went here to buy woven stuff and was not disappointed, in addition to the usual woven bags and wallets, they also have woven guitar / camera straps 🥰 the ice cream vendor just outside the shop selling strawberry and avocado ice cream just added to the great experience

A small business with 5-6 hand looms. Tremendous, as you can get very close to the weavers. Next door the material is sewn and items are for sale. Would be nice if there was some one to offer information - but still worth an hour visit. Closes for lunch at midday.
HeatSand C — Google review
Sagada Weaving is a small local shop worth visiting if you’re looking for handwoven wallets, bags, placemats, and other pasalubong items. The quality of their products is impressive—you can see the care and craftsmanship in every piece. Personally, I just wish they offered more modern bag designs to appeal to a wider range of tastes. One nice feature is that you can walk to the back of the shop and see the handlooms used to make their fabric. It’s an interesting glimpse into the weaving process, though it would have been even better if there was someone available to explain more about the craft and history behind it. Parking is available inside the compound, though space is limited. Street parking is also an option nearby. Overall, Sagada Weaving is a great stop for locally made items with a lot of heart and heritage—just a few small touches could make the experience even more engaging.

a must-visit if you want to see authentic local craftsmanship. They’ve been around for decades, producing handwoven bags, clothes, and souvenirs that showcase traditional Cordilleran patterns. A place that preserves culture while supporting local livelihood.

Bana's Coffee is a charming café located in the Mountain Province, known for its locally sourced and roasted coffee beans from the nearby mountains of Sagada. They offer a variety of coffee blends such as Arabica, Robusta, and Excelsa, along with espresso-based drinks. The café provides a pleasant environment to relax or work, with a bar area offering views of pine trees.
We ordered spanish latte hot and cold and another brewed coffee. We also had blueberry cheesecake. Cafe ambiance is great. View is great. Service is good. Staff are approachable. Coffee is soooo good here, from the couple of cafes we tried in Sagada this is so far has the best coffee. The best.

3rd time here. Bana's breakfast is such a hearty one. The red rice has deep flavor, saltiness of the sausage is just right, mango is huge, fresh and sweet, and my most fave of all, the vegetable salad 😍 every bite, you can taste the absolute freshness, as if my whole being and not just my guts is being cleansed 😭 Pastries we ordered are also decently good. As for the drinks, you can taste the fruity notes in their black coffee. Alamid one has stronger, bolder taste than black. Had to mellow it down through 2 teaspoons of brown sugar.

Bana’s Coffee is a must-visit in Sagada! The coffee is rich, smooth, and freshly brewed, you can really taste the difference. The place has a cozy, laid back vibe, perfect for relaxing after exploring the town. Definitely one of the best spots to enjoy a good cup of coffee with mountain views. ☕️🌿

They make good coffee — YES. But the owner or cashier lady (not sure which) wasn’t welcoming at all. I asked about their Banas Black Coffee (can’t quite remember the name), but she didn’t bother explaining what they offer. I asked a simple question and all I got was a sarcastic “Of course,” with attitude. Lol.
Claudine C — Google review
This place is highly recommended by the locals. This was the second coffee shop we visited on our first 3-hour visit here in Sagada. The place compliments on the coffee they served, very cozy and not congested. Every corner of their store really tells how enthusiastic they are about serving coffee since then. We also had a session with the local farmers here in Sagada, the name of Bana's coffee shop is highly saturated in local coffee culture in Sagada. As per the locals, they pioneered the coffee scene in this province. They King and Queen the caffeinated bloods of the Kankanai Igorots, a tribe of the local Sagada.

Food is super affordable with great portions, especially considering how touristy Sagada has become in recency (other restaurants nearby are comparatively pricey). Had two lunches here actually, but the place really seems better for breakfast. They grow their own strawberries for their food! Great wait staff and great view for sipping on Sagada brew or mountain tea as well. Oh, also they're particularly known for their yogurt. Fair warning, theirs is on the sweeter side.

spent 3 days in sagada and I always crave for Strawberry Cafe's food. servings are big, price is reasonable. their yoghurt is the best in town imo.

This was my regular place during my stay, and not only because I stayed next door. Service is prompt and I liked everything I tried. Chicken sandwich (80PHP), strawberry shake and yogurt (80 PHP each) and tomato onion omelette as take away (generous portion for 120PHP + 10PHP take out charge which got me a very nice container I'm still using). Staff not super smiley but I liked coming here. Outdoor seating too. They close early and a bit at different times though, so breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack are your best bets.

Misty Lodge and Cafe is a peaceful lodging house located in Sagada, Mountain Province. It is renowned for its reasonably priced and quality pizzas, burgers, steaks, breakfast meals, and yoghurt. The lodge's cafe offers a cozy and homey ambiance where guests can enjoy excellent food from breakfast to dinner. Misty Lodge is highly recommended for those who love places with a warm atmosphere.
If you’re in town, don’t miss breakfast at Misty Lodge Café. From a wide selection of delicious options to their rich and comforting hot chocolate (a definite favorite!), everything was spot on. The yogurt was fresh and flavorful, and the ambiance made it the perfect place to start the day. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a satisfying and relaxing breakfast experience.

The food was good and well-prepared. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but still okay for the quality. The room was decent, nothing too special but comfortable enough. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and the overall ambience of the place was pleasant. Not a perfect experience, but still enjoyable.

We went to Sagada for 8 days to take a much-needed break from the stress at work. My co-workers and I were really looking forward to some peace and quiet, and Sagada definitely delivered on the calm, cool weather and beautiful views. For our 8 nights, we booked a stay at Misty Lodge. The location itself is serene and relaxing — perfect for unwinding. However, our experience with the staff, particularly at the reception, was disappointing. From the start, the reception wasn’t hospitable. Every time we made a request, we felt like we were bothering them. It gave us the impression that we were difficult guests, even though we were only asking for basic assistance. The cold Sagada weather is refreshing, but we wish the staff could “cool down” their attitudes and be more welcoming and respectful in how they treat guests. It was also disheartening to feel like only certain people — such as artists or famous personalities — were given proper attention and treatment. All guests deserve to be treated with the same level of hospitality, regardless of their status. Overall, we don’t recommend Misty Lodge. There are plenty of other places in Sagada that offer the same great views, with better service.

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights. Definitely will come back for their yogurt and cozy place!! 💚 But will not recommend for those working remotely. We experienced intermittent internet connectivity in the main house, and we had no signal for Smart or Globe. I'm not sure if the same issues exist in the other rooms. Kudos to ate at the front desk!! Very accommodating and attentive. I observed that ate at the front desk is taking the order and also serving/preparing the food, which makes the service slower. The food is expensive; they should invest in more staff.

We stayed here for a week to fully experience Sagada and take some time to unwind. The view was absolutely breathtaking, complemented by the cool mountain breeze, which made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The food was decent, though slightly overpriced. Their yogurt, in particular, was delicious and worth trying. However, what significantly affected our overall experience was the customer service. Our first day went well. The owner “Misty” welcomed us warmly, which even encouraged us to extend our stay to eight days. Unfortunately, as the days went by, the service noticeably declined. The receptionist/staff began to treat us in a way that made us feel unwelcome, as though our presence was more of a burden than a valued guest. It was disheartening and disappointing, especially since hospitality plays such a crucial role in the overall guest experience. It’s worth noting that we weren’t the only ones who felt this way; we came across similar complaints from other guests. We sincerely hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and takes steps to improve their customer service. A beautiful location and decent food can only go so far—genuine hospitality is what truly makes a stay memorable. Despite the unfortunate experience with the staff, Sagada’s natural beauty and the activities the area offers still made our trip worthwhile. But for future guests to fully enjoy their stay, we strongly urge the lodge to address these service issues.

located a good distance from the town proper in a wooded area. Rooms are spacious, well kept, clean, cozy, comfortable; CR in room. Food served is good, try their pizzas and burgers, yogurt. Wifi in house. Hosts are gracious and accommodating.

The place has a peaceful setting and lovely pets that make it feel cozy. However, the service from the reception staff was disappointing. We didn’t feel genuinely welcomed, and even basic assistance felt like too much to ask. Sagada is beautiful and worth visiting, but we’ll look for a different place to stay next time.

THE BEST CAFE I have gone so far in Sagada Mountains! So cozy, lovely and really good food there! Loved the music, maybe they should bring the music to the outside too, not just for the tables inside. Anyway, perfect! P.S.: I was there only for the Cafe

Marlboro Hill, located in Sagada, Philippines, is a captivating destination known for its resemblance to the famous cigarette brand's advertising images. The vast expanse of rolling hills and grasslands offers a relatively easy hiking trail suitable for various skill levels. At the top, hikers are rewarded with awe-inspiring panoramic views of the Cordillera mountain range and the renowned sea of clouds at sunrise.
A 04:00 am start was made pleasant with the prompt arrival of tourist board guide, coffee and hot bananas! Great 40 minute walk up the hill for a super windy and chilly sunrise over a sea of clouds. Excellent morning - we were back down by 08:00 am. Best part - we observed an Asian White Breasted Woodpecker in action for 10 minutes!!

On a lucky day, this spot offers a breathtaking view of the famous sea of clouds, making it a must-visit in Sagada for early risers and nature lovers. The temperature can get quite chilly in the early morning, so bringing a jacket is a good idea. It's an easy 30-minute hike from the roadside, making it accessible even for beginners looking for a rewarding trail.

We loved Marlboro Hills! It was a 1 hour hike but it's all worth it! We have availed the Marlboro Hills to Blue Soil which happened to be around 3-5 hours of a total hike all in all. It's very nice! Indeed a must try! We had really fun with this wild adventure!

I can't take off my eyes from the scenery. It's just so good to feel and breathe the cool breeze wile watching what's going on uphill the thick clouds, trees, most especially the sunrise however i didn't got the chance to watch the sunrise bc we went down to see the blue soil.

Quite crowded place to see the sunrise (if you're lucky). Coming with a tour guide is required to visit the hill. It takes about usually 1-1.5hrs to go up the hill that depends on your pace. At the top locals sell some instant food like noodles and coffee.

Nestled in the mountainous terrains of Sagada, Philippines, Blue Soil Hills is a surreal natural wonder that captivates visitors with its dreamy baby blue color. Known locally as Kaman Utek, this unique destination offers a striking sight as the earth takes on an otherworldly hue due to high copper sulfate content in the soil. The trek to Blue Soil Hill presents fantastic photo opportunities amidst scenic viewpoints and limestone cliffs, making it a must-visit spot for nature enthusiasts.
Truly majestic! We hiked here from Sagada Blue Mountain Cabins, and though it was a bit challenging for a not-so-active person like me, I loved every step, especially since I was with my love. The stunning views and greenery along the way just reset my mind in the best way. The cold weather going up also made the trek much easier. The Blue Soil Hills itself is breathtakingly pretty. This was already my 4th time in Sagada, but my first time here, and I’m so glad I finally did it! Photos can’t capture the magical feeling of being there. There’s also a small snack stand for refreshments and a souvenir shop you’ll pass on the way down. 🌿 Beautiful hike 💙 Scenic and unique views 🥶 Cool weather 🍵 Snacks and souvenirs nearby A must-visit when in Sagada!

Going there from marlboro hills was difficult from somebody with NO experience in hiking. Make sure you are prepared it was not easy marlobo hills with sea of clouds was worth it. Make the trip to blue Soil separate from marlboro hills. But if you are young and have good knees, go ahead

The trekking to Blue Soil is very challenging. I think this is not for beginners but you can still do the hiking, just make sure to book in a registered travel and tours or accredited tour guide. The blue soil itself is okay, good background for photo ops.

Definitely a must in sagada. Loved our guide, she was telling us random mushroom and plant facts during the hike up. The mountain hike route was closed due to an annual blessing of the mountain, so we hiked up on the other side.

Oct 30, 2025 Parking Area: Available at The Exit Food: Stalls are avaible at the exit, middle, and the Blue Soil. Entrance Fee: No payment I went on a solo hike and the food pricing is quite acceptable given the location. Along the way you can see trash (esp. tissues). It was an experience to look at the bluish soil, also how the pine trees that covers the area. Its worth to visit and might come back again.

It was a nice hike going down from Marlboro hills to this blue soil. Really good register in the camera but there's really not much to do there just gaze in the unnatural color. There's a lot of people on weekends so better be fast in your hike to come in first to the site.

MAGICAL Blue Soil Hills Adventure in Sagada! Just a 30-minute easy hike from the road and we were rewarded with the most BREATHTAKING view of mystical blue-tinted hills that look straight out of a fairytale! This hidden gem is truly one-of-a-kind – the stunning blue limestone rocks nestled among thick pine trees create an absolutely enchanting, otherworldly atmosphere. My daughters (ages 7 and 5) were THRILLED throughout the entire adventure! The journey was just as exciting as the destination – we became little explorers, hunting for wild berries along the trail like a real treasure hunt! The girls’ eyes lit up at every berry bush discovery, their giggles echoing through the pine forest. Simply SPECTACULAR! Those brilliant blue hills stretching endlessly felt like stepping into a different world entirely. Even my 5-year-old kept gasping “Wow, it’s so beautiful!” Perfect family-friendly adventure combining easy hiking, natural wonder, and unforgettable memories. Your kids will talk about this amazing Sagada experience for years! Absolutely MUST-SEE!!!

Upon arrival at Blue Soil Hill, one is immediately captivated by the mesmerizing sight of the blue-hued earth set against a backdrop of verdant greenery. The soil's color exhibits a remarkable ability to shift with the changing light, presenting a spectrum of blue and purple hues that make it a photographer's paradise. To fully appreciate the significance of this natural wonder, it is highly recommended to engage the services of a local guide. These knowledgeable individuals provide invaluable insights into the area's history and the cultural significance of the site. For an optimal experience, it is advisable to visit during the early morning or late afternoon hours, as this allows one to avoid the harsh midday sun and witness the colors at their most vibrant.

Sumaguing Cave is a centuries-old cave in Sagada, known for its impressive limestone formations and challenging spelunking opportunities. To explore the expansive cave network, visitors can register at the Tourist Information Center and arrange for an accredited guide to lead them through the three levels of spelunking activities. The first level offers a two-hour exploration within Sumaguing Cave, while more adventurous options involve traversing multiple caves with longer routes.
Have you ever done spelunking before? If not, then this should be an easy yes decision if your physicality permits. The cave is deep and dark (as they should), and our guide is deeply knowledgeable and funny, which made the experience even better. There are quite a few rock formations, from a queen’s vagina to elephants, crocodiles, and turtles. Expect to get wet and dirty, and there will instances where it will be slippery. But trust the process. I further recommend to go as deep as you can, especially the tunnel portion to get the full experience. Go there early to avoid the crowd. 7am - 8am is a good time, right after breakfast. It takes around 2 hours, so you will still have the rest of the day ahead. Peep the coffins at the cave’s entrance!

I visited this cave after Go Sagada arranged transport and a guide for me. The Sumaguing Cave is the best caves in Sagada. Descending as much as 150 metres down, you'll get to see some incredible formations created by water, some of which have names corresponding to their visual, such as the bird and mother and baby elephants, the tortoise and palm tree. Near the bottom of the tour are pools where you can take a dip. The water is cool, but not too cold. Make sure you have the tourist tax and receipt from the Sagada Tourist office. I'm not sure if it's permissible to visit without a guide, but I would not want to go down without one. Awesome experience.

I visited this place with my daughter, Ezra, and it has become one of the most unforgettable memories of my life—sharing the experience together made it truly special. The journey was challenging, and now I understand the meaning behind the tagline “I survived” in Sagada. I highly recommend it to those who seek adventure and thrilling challenges. Our tour guide was highly professional, and the photos they took were absolutely superb and amazing. Sagada is a must-visit! A perfect 5 out of 5.

The cave is deep and easy to get wet in the last stage. Stairs are only available for the first few 100m. Be prepared with adequate equipment, the rocks are slippery. The route is difficult and dangerous. Make sure your shoes are water proof and suitable for climbing. Better to bring a cross water proof bag to store your phone. Free your hands are the key to get yourself in and out safely. Do not go without a guide. The view are amazing but rmb your safety is the highest concern.
Xxti — Google review
First time trying out spelunking and I would recommend everyone to do this at least once in their life, the rock formations as you go deeper inside the cave just get better. Air is a little bit cold and so is the water so I recommend wearing sports clothing and your strongest slippers/hiking sandals for this adventure. You can also opt to explore deeper into the cave but you would have to go through tight, smaller holes. Expect to get wet and dirty. We went there at 8:30 am and got out around 10. We were the 2nd to arrive and while we were on our way back out, a lot of people were starting to come in so highly recommend to go there earlier.
Karlee C — Google review
This is one of the highlights of our Sagada experience. The cave is beginner friendly for those who want to experience cave spelunking. This has the biggest cave chambers among caves in Sagada. We entered the cave late in the afternoon but there are still a lot of tourists going in and out of the cave so it is safe to explore. This is a thrilling experience. Our young tour guide was very accommodating and made our cave experience easy and fun he even made gimmicks for our photos
Akuseru P — Google review
If you’re heading to Sagada and looking for something more exhilarating than sipping mountain coffee and pondering life at sunrise, Sumaguing Cave is a must. The rock formations are the main stars—impossibly intricate, with amusing names like the “King’s Curtain,” the “Pregnant Woman,” and the “Chocolate Cake.” Your guide will point them all out with equal parts enthusiasm and dry humor. There’s also a natural underground pool you can wade through, if you're okay with water that feels like it came from a melted glacier. The trail is very slippery and muddy the tour guide will ask you to remove your shoes as well for safety. Bring a dry bag or at least protect your phone and wallet. It's kind of hard you need strength going up.

Echo Valley in Sagada is a breathtaking natural area with lush greenery, trails, and rock formations. It's home to the famous hanging coffins and offers visitors the chance to shout as much as they want due to the unique topography that prevents sounds from carrying across the valley. A visit to Echo Valley also includes a 2km walk to Bomod-ok Bigfalls, where you can experience native village life and rice terraces along the way.
Short walk from Sagada town. Beautiful valley and great view of the surrounding rocky landscape and the villages. You pass through a cemetery to get to this place. A little further are the hanging coffins.

You need to register at the tourist office. Registration is 100p/pax and then you need to hire a guide for 300p for your group. Church also requires a 10p entry fee/pax. The walk is not difficult and has great views of Sagada village. Our guide was well versed and could answer all questions we had about this atypical burial site.

Had a great time at the infamous Echo Valley in Sagada. History-rich in every step you take. At the bottom of Echo Valley, there’s a coffee shop called Baw-eng where the owner sells farm-to-cup coffee beside his coffee farm for PHP 80 per cup. He also sells local handicrafts and cookies.

Sagada Pottery is a must-visit attraction in the picturesque town of Sagada, Philippines. This secluded house showcases a stunning collection of handmade pottery crafted by local artisans. Visitors have the unique opportunity to witness traditional pottery making in action, observing skilled potters shaping and molding clay into beautiful and functional pieces. Additionally, tourists can participate in hands-on demonstrations to experience the art and craftsmanship firsthand.
Great experience for watching live demonstration of clay work. Well-scripted to be clear, informative and interesting, shows the possibilities in working with clay, making it look easy and for a small additional fee you can have a guided go yourself. Workshops and shop are also available, kind and welcoming staff.

Sagada pottery is a craft from Sagada, a town in the Philippines. Local artisans create items like jars and cups using clay, often inspired by their culture and nature. These pottery pieces are functional. Visitors can also learn pottery-making from the skilled potters in Sagada for just Php 100.00. The only downside is that you will not do it alone. The potter will still hold your hand while learning the pottery-making. You can also buy the pottery that you have made. But it’s not cheap.

We went there looking to have a great experience learning to craft mugs and stuff. The speech of the lady was learnt by heart, no emotions and passion felt. We were proposed to have a try and having the possibility to learn and have the freeness to make our own design but in reality we were hardly guided, hand to hand like guiding a baby of 3 year-old. The activity was quite express so a bit disappointed in that way, especially knowing that you have to pay extra for each person wanted to try ! We finally decided to buy our own made creation for quite expensive but there were no price for a great, personal and unique souvenir from Sagada. In fact, we waited for 4 months to receive it. The packaging was looking very weak (simple carton with inside our mugs wrapped by an insignificant layer of bubble wrap. One of the mugs was cracked, our names, date of creation and Sagada mentioned were written with a marker underneath and without any care ! The colour that we decided wasn't respected at all. The quality in general looks very poor knowing that it was managed by professionals afterwards our shaping. A long wait for a big disappointment ! I would rate them 3/5 but the bad surprise deserved a final rate of 1/5. PS: they did ship us a new replacement mug but it wont replace the one that is broken (made by us). Thankfully we weren't expecting that much from them, cause we literally received the unsold one that they seem like trying to get rid off it 🤣 It's not worth it at all, a tourist trap !

Nestled in the heart of the Cordillera region, Sagada Cellar Door is a must-visit for craft beer enthusiasts. This charming brewpub offers an outdoor bar experience surrounded by majestic pine trees, where you can savor their signature Cerveza Sagada—crafted with local ingredients like honey and heirloom rice. The ambiance is perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration, especially when enjoying a cold beer by the warmth of a bonfire under the stars.

Great ambiance for sunset happy hour. They have a limited menu but the kielbasa sausage with rice wine beer was so good! They have a guitar, bonfire, and slack line for people to use.

A wonderful, special place. Great atmosphere for just hanging out & an actual reason to go back to Sagada. Because we came in the holiday season, we had to pay in advance for the dinner inside. (Ifugao buffet dinner - hearty, hefty & good.) But anyone can walk in when they open at 5pm for the bonfire, sausages & their own draft brews using locally significant ingredients (ex. black rice, sagada orange). Highly suggested: Hire a van service for the evening. It's a bit of a trek through an unlit path up a hill.

Sausage and Beer are the perfect combo! We enjoyed this place the most during our stay. The caretaker let us borrow a guitar so that we can sing some music during the bonfire. People can also bring marshmallows to grill here.

My overall favourite place in Sagada. The craft beers, the staff, atmosphere, and food were all incredible. We were even given free food during our last night of stay here. There are also adorable dogs around the area that make the place more bubbly. Chill vibe, great food, bonfire to keep you warm, and accommodating staff and owner. Such a perfect place to unwind after a tiring tour in Sagada. I wish I could bring their beers, tapa, and Pancho (Papa P's pug) with me in Manila.

The grain bread. I'm not sure if they made those but I really enjoyed them and kept the leftovers until we left Sagada. One of the best places in Sagada! They serve great craft beer plus the ambiance is nice. The menu features lamb, beef, sautéed vegetables, and Shanghai rolls cooked with flavorful herbs like rosemary, ginger, and thyme. With most meals priced below P200, the portions are generous and satisfying. The American influence is evident in both the ambiance and the cuisine. Highlights include the pancit canton sagada which has a nice flavor despite being slightly salty.
We ordered Pinikpikan and Chicken Curry for our early dinner and it was so good! Their Spanish Latte is quite decent, too. I really enjoyed the vibes and love the music playing on the background. We'll surely come back here 💖 Sagada Bistro gave our Sagada trip a very nice experience. But it would be better if they always keep the door going to the CR closed, because mosquitoes are coming inside.

Pancit here is good. Tried their cheese sticks and lumpia Shanghai and is also good complements the pancit. Price is just right for the food, budget friendly compared to the other restaurants around. The only drawback here is the guy at the counter not friendly and seems very mayabang. But all is good.

We really loved it! One of the best restaurants/bistro in Sagada. Its price are very reasonable for the quality and ambiance of the place. The serving was fast and the staffs are very approachable. We have ordered their famous Etag Tomato Pasta, Homemade Beef Tapa with free hot coffee (we loved the beans!), and Iced Spanish Latte (which I super loved as well!), all I can say is that we have truly enjoyed the food. We'll be happy to visit this again! An indeed a must try!

Sagada Bistro has a nice dining place. We went there for lunch and they have a big place to accommodate at least 50 visitors. My issues here is their slow service. Visitors during our visit were just minimal but it took time for us to be serve from handling the menu to serving of food up to getting our bill. The food is good but mediocre - Something good enough to fill your hunger but forgettable. It made me think that they are undermanned and overrated in social media. My balcony lunch experience under the shade of outdoor vine plants is what I enjoy most here.

After an enjoyable trip to Sagada, we discovered this restaurant. While the prices were on the higher, the quality of the food made it worth it! The ambiance was warm and inviting, their cr were squeky clean, and the mesmerizing views added a touch of experience. The highlight of our visit was their hot chocolate—rich, comforting, and perfect for the cold weather. It's definitely a must-try if you're in the area!

This is one of the resto that we have planned to visit prior to our arrival in Sagada. We enjoyed the food because they were served fast and tasted good. Value for money. Will come back again :)

We had our dinner here together with my friends and it was disappointing. 😩 Pork roll was and pizza was not cooked well, and even the tinolang manok and fried chicken there was a strand of hair in both of them. And I didn't expect that they would put a service charged. Lol Staff is rude especially guy at the counter.

Restaurant
Rock Inn and Cafe, located in Sagada, was originally a warehouse on the Rock Farm compound before being transformed into a casual fine dining restaurant by owner Fely Omengan in 2005. The cafe offers a rustic charm with views of lush orchards and polite staff. It prides itself on serving pinikpikan, a local delicacy. While not within the town proper, it's worth the visit for its scenic location along the main highway.
I had a great time at Rock Inn and Cafe! I went for the orange picking and was amazed by the variety of oranges and the vast land. The unlimited orange picking for 30 minutes was such a fun experience, and the attendant who helped me was incredibly kind. It was a bit of a walk from my hotel, but I enjoyed every step of the way there. Also had lunch at their restaurant afterward – the food portions were huge! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique experience! P.S.: orange picking is seasonal, better message them first before going.

Great place to stay in Sagada. Very nice service and friendly staff. A little bit far from the town proper, but self sustaining, as they have their own kitchen and plenty of drinks. The room we had was part of a three room villa. There were 4 if us in one room with a shared bathroom. The other rooms have their own bathroom. This was okay. No problem at all. Pillows are comfy and the blankets were sufficient for the cold weather. The food was okay and the servings are plenty. Had the farmers breakfast and the bacon was superb. Will I stay here again? For sure. I just hope Sagada resists the temptation of over commercialism. I truly appreciate the simple rustic beauty of the place. One of those places that's nice to visit, relax and does not feel like a tourist trap. It gives you a real breath of fresh air. Hope this helps.

Went here to dine and experience orange picking. However, orange picking season had just finished when we visited the place. Hence, the resto offers the last harvest to enjoy during our stay.

My friends and I enjoyed our dinner here. We tried chicken pinikpikan which had the smokey flavor aside from the crispy bagnet and vegetables we had. There was also free unlimited local coffee which was so good. Service was fast and staff were attentive.

We only tried the orange picking here. Entrance is 100 per person and they provide each a shear. We only gave it a 3 since the oranges are not that sweet and most of the good ones are high up. The guide can climb for you but its kind of hassle if he/she climb some trees. And it doesnt guarantee if the one above are sweet. I dont know if its not the best season for sweet oranges. We visited on a december. They also have a lodge, eatery, and some food snacks and souvenirs. Which we havent tried.

Really lovely location and super friendly staff. We stayed for 3 nights over Christmas with 7 people and had a nice time. They were very helpful when my dad had to go to the hospital. Shout out to the beautiful garden and cute dogs roaming around the place. Would highly recommend staying here!

One large rustic house with restaurant is cozy. The house next door with the rooms is okay. Service of all staff have been impeccable. The rooms are hostel type standard, one electrical outlet, water is low pressure and barely warm. Food is good.

Day 3

Off the beaten path
For day 3, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Sagada Underground River. Not quite as popular as Bomod-ok Falls, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 8 hours.

Kiltepan Viewpoint, located in Sagada, is a popular hilltop lookout point offering breathtaking panoramic sunrise views over the surrounding mountains and rice terraces. Rising at 1636 meters, it provides a great vantage point to witness the sun peeking out from behind the Cordillera mountains and low-lying clouds. While reaching the peak requires booking round trip transport from the town proper, this spot offers a one-of-a-kind experience.
DIY'ed Kiltepan Pog-o Viewpoint. You can search it on google maps, follow the directions, then you can go by foot or by vehicle to the campsite, and the viewpoint.

Sea of crowds mostly in weekend. I advice to visit here in weekdays. Marlboro hills is not advisable if weather is bad. Here in kiltepan short walk and more accessible.
X ( — Google review
Wasn't able to enjoy the sunrise to its fullest since we were overcrowded. I think there were at least 300 people in a tiny clearing watching the sunrise so it is not serene at all. The sunrise itself is majestic, magical and entrancing but if there are alternative spots I suggest you go there.
Rock M — Google review
Famous for its "Sea of clouds" view, its nice spot in Mt. Kiltepan accessible by car. I was walking at 4:00 am when a lovely American couple decided to pick me up along the way. Unfortunately we weren't able to see that sea of clouds but the view was mesmerizing nonetheless.

Whether you have seen the movie The Thing Called Tadhana or not, the Kiltepan View at Sagada Mt. Province is a must place to visit. You can either take a kilometer walk from the main road, or do what we did. We rented a jeep for 50 pesos per head that gave us a ride upto the view point. Be sure to be there early and look for a great spot, There is alot of people specially on holidays and weekends. Food stalls are everywhere, as well as souvenirs. Be persuaded by the sea of clouds as the morning sun rises or just shout your heart out. We rode on top of the jeep as we headback to the main road and it was a very nerve rocking memorable experience.
Kenn G — Google review
We came to see the sunrise but it was too foggy so didn't see it. The forest was beautiful thought. The fog made it feel magical.

The most magnificent sunrise I have ever seen in my life! Grateful for the wonderful experience God has bestowed on us, His creations❤️
Irene J — Google review
It was unfortunate that it rained the day before so there was no sunrise seen but instead, there was sea of heads. We went at 4AM and there was a pack of people already stationed waiting for the sunrise. There are also vendors selling hot chocolates, instant coffees and noodles and more. I like the cold weather and taking photos of the visitors around us. Renting a car to get here cost us Php 500.

Sagada Underground River

4.6
(103)
Sagada Underground River is a 300-meter-long cave with natural pools and limestone rock formations. While not as grand as the one in Puerto Princesa, it offers accessibility and an amazing forest setting. It's a thrilling experience to wade through ankle-deep water surrounded by darkness and broken beams of light. Guides are advisable, but experienced outdoors people can go solo.
Great small hike. Ask the locals on the way to get there from the road, it seems like you enter somebody's property. The road is paved at first and later not so watch your step when walking down especially in rain. Easy and definitely worth it.
Eilon A — Google review
I went there without a guide, as I couldn't find one. The path starts behind a local garage between two karst formations. The walk is only about 10 minutes with a concrete path and orange railings the latter 2 thirds of the way. I didn't go through the tunnel as it was raining and I wasn't gonna chance a flash flood halfway. Plus I only had my lame phone torch.
Philip B — Google review
I visited the underground with Go Sagada tourist office, who also arranged the guide for me. The underground river was the last stop for me as part of the Paytokan Trail. It had just been raining, the path and rocks were a little slippery. Most of what I saw the about 20 metres into the cave and maybe another 20 metres before the water flows into a narrow opening that my guide thought would be too dangerous to attempt to see. To be honest, there's not a lot to see and the cave gets dark and mostly I could hear the river. It's a nice natural attraction and worthwhile if visiting along with the hanging coffins.
Chung H — Google review
Astonishing trekking through the cave stepping over the river most of the time, but you must have a guide and good head lanterns.
Allan D — Google review
It's quite the best place to go to find calmness. Inside cave feels cool and you could only hear the sound of water flowing which makes the place peaceful. If this sounds boring to you, you could try stock piling rocks and just leave them there as a remembrance that you were there.
Bernstein K — Google review
Awesome rock formation outside but you can't see much inside which is the thrill of a 15 minute walk thru. A guide is a must though. Bats and small river underneath. Above are actually houses. At the end of the hike is Bomod-ok Falls. Nice to dip in or take a plunge.
Joan A — Google review

Built during the American colonial period, this church features traditional Igorot architecture with Western influences. It stands as a testament to Sagada's religious and architectural history and is known for its beautiful stained glass windows and charming blue doors. St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Sagada is an Anglican church that stands out for its unique history and architecture. While it shares common roots with other Christian denominations, the Episcopal tradition blends elements of Catholic and Protestant practices, creating a distinctive form of worship and community life. The church itself is a historical landmark, established during the American colonial period, and has become an integral part of Sagada’s cultural and spiritual heritage. It's simple yet elegant design, peaceful surroundings, and historical significance make it a meaningful stop for visitors interested in both faith and history.

This is a good spot to visit as the church is very humbling and serene. The inside of the church is really spiritual. It is quiet considering there are many people outside. A must to visit when in Sagada

One of the oldest churches in Baguio City is St. Mary's Episcopal Church, which was constructed in 1909. The church's conventional English Gothic Revival design and gorgeous stone and wood architecture are stunning. Its stunning stained-glass windows, tall oak ceilings, and beautifully carved altar provide a tranquil and serene atmosphere that is ideal for introspection and prayer. The history of the church is equally fascinating. Originally constructed as a house of worship for American Protestants, St. Mary's was founded during the American colonial era. The church has contributed significantly to Baguio City's religious and cultural life over the years, and both locals and tourists adore it as a landmark. St. Mary's Episcopal Church is renowned for its inviting and inclusive community in addition to its stunning architecture and extensive history. individuals from different backgrounds and faiths attend the church's services and events because it is open to individuals of all beliefs. In order to deepen the relationships between the church and the larger community, the church also conducts a variety of outreach programs and events, such as feeding programs and community service initiatives. St. Mary's Episcopal Church was a beautiful place to visit overall. Anyone visiting Baguio City should go there because of its stunning architecture, interesting history, and warm people. St. Mary's Episcopal Church should be on your list of places to visit whether you're seeking for a place to worship, want to learn more about the history of the area, or just want to meet new people.

Filipino restaurant
Located in Sagada, Log Cabin is a renowned restaurant that has been serving customers since 1991. The smokehouse and restaurant are famous for their Saturday and special occasion buffets prepared by French Chef Aklay. These buffets are highly sought after, especially now that travel restrictions have eased in the town. The restaurant offers a rustic and cozy dining experience within a genuine log cabin, providing an inviting atmosphere with a touch of nostalgia.
Our annual Sagada trip wouldn’t be complete without dining at Sagada Log Cabin—it’s become a tradition for us! We ordered everything in the photos I uploaded, and honestly, the long drive from Batangas to Sagada was so worth it. Every dish was flavorful, hearty, and satisfying. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. On our second visit that same week, they even remembered our baby, which made the experience even more special. We visited during a rainy evening, and they lit the bonfire—it added such a cozy and welcoming vibe to the whole restaurant. Price-wise, it’s reasonable considering the generous portions—definitely busog for a Filipino appetite. If you’re exploring Sagada and looking for a place to eat, I highly recommend Sagada Log Cabin. I’m already excited to come back!

Dishes are great tasting, we ordered their bolognese, paprika roastes chicken and ham and chees pizza. I think the pizza is too expensive for its size, compared to the other dishes, the taste and amount of serving is perfect. We parked just before the diversion in front of the municipal hall. There’s no parking in the restaurant.

I went to Sagada to spend my birthday and had a specific list of places I want to visit, including Log Cabin Sagada. Had my birthday dinner here to try their forrest ham and bacon etag, and it didnt disappoint! My partner and I had a very filling meal with the generous serving of their dishes. Although they didnt have cakes, they made do with what they and went an extra mile to help me celebrate by giving me an in-house serving of their yogurt with a birthday greeting. And our server, Warren, really did a great job in accommodating us. I will surely come back and dine again with you! ❤️❤️❤️
Gazelle M — Google review
The restaurant is situated at the heart of Sagada. The food is sooo good. We ordered Menu II and Menu V and they did not disappoint. Plus the serving is so big. The drinks, too, are refreshing. We had the Mango Sprite mocktail and the Passion Fruit mocktail. Both are so good. It also has a wifi. We waited for our bus here in this resto and their host/server was so kind to offer us their egg tart, ON THE HOUSE. Best dessert for a sumptous meal. Sagada overall has the best people. Babalikan talaga, Sagada.
Rhea C — Google review
I know who has been would agree. That Log Cabin Sagada is the best place to eat in Sagada. Top of the quality ingredients with fusion of modern cuisine and traditional Sagada foods. I had the BEST pork steak to date. The pork is tender despite the size, very smokey which is new to my palate, however it’s surprisingly good. The smokiness takes over the usual smell of pork meat, and it elevates the taste of pork. It was very well seasoned, just enough for your palate. Especially perfect when paired with their homemade gravy. The serving is very generous and I felt that it reasoned with its price. The mushroom Carbonara (in season mushroom) was also really good. Generous servings, di tinipid sa sauce. Basta ang sarap nya.

The food was amazing (and the drinks too!). As a non-coffee girlie, I fell in love with their fruit teas too — we tried new flavors with every meal and now I’m craving it again 😭 They only have 3 rooms (for couples and groups), which makes the place feel super exclusive and cozy. The cabin vibes are so nice — it really gives you that warm mountain experience.Definitely a must-visit when you go to Sagada! Special shoutout to Jhon who made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay despite the typhoon. Their in-room service was a lifesaver, and the constant check-ins (even from the admin on IG) made us feel so safe and at home 🫶 We’ll definitely come back — hopefully on a good weather next time! P.S. they offer unli bread & coffee during your stay! 🥖☕️

As the SAGADA HONEY LATTE flavor shines through, and the honey provides a nice balance without being overly sweet". The combination is a wonderfully balanced, smooth, and naturally sweet cup of coffee that makes for an excellent latte. I highly recommend it for a comforting and flavorful experience. Ambasing Bus Ruin

Located in the picturesque landscape of Sagada, Philippines, the Ambasing Bus Ruin stands as a historical relic amidst the serene mountains. This abandoned bus serves as a symbol of resilience and offers visitors an opportunity to delve into Sagada's past and contemplate the passage of time. The site is also known for its Instagram-worthy appeal, with an artsy bus set against a backdrop of pine trees. While caution is advised when exploring the area, it presents a unique opportunity for captivating photographs.
Nothing special. Just a ruined bus which is perfect for IG pictures. BUT…… You definitely need to check the back area. That’s the highlight of the place. Worth to take in the view. Definitely suggesting the place for people who loves taking pictures with the nature.

Unfortunately as of February 2025 this place is already closed to the public. The open area that is used to be open to public has been already walled and closed with huge gates. Tried to knock but no one was answering the two times I have walked pass this place coming from Gaia Cafe. From what I heard this was just a recent change so not sure if they will reopen to public again and is just renovating the place - but from what I have seen on a YouTube video (also recent) seems not as there were a lot more bus ruins in the place. Hope they move the bus elsewhere probably near the town church in the park just by the entrance of the cemetery. But I really do not think the government will interfere, hope they do though.

This was just what I needed to bus. Thank you. The bus itself was so large in size that it was almost intimidating, but I loved it so much. I had hoped to see some of the leftover milk of Ambat Ukam, a World War II Filipino soldier who fought for his nation’s independence until his last breath and left cartons of freshly produced milk everywhere he went to mark his progress. Ambasing was his hometown, and I had hoped he had visited this wonderful bus at some point to deposit his milk, but alas. I wish I could have met Ambat Ukam and heard his war cry, AMBASING, AMBASING, AMBASING, which honored his hometown.

Nestled in Sagada, Gaia Cafe is a charming treehouse-inspired spot that offers stunning views of Ambassing Valley en route to Sumaguing Cave. This cozy community cafe gained fame after being featured in the 2014 Filipino romantic comedy 'That Thing Called Tadhana.' It has become a beloved dining spot for couples and tourists seeking to recreate moments from the film.
If you're not a vegetarian, you might find yourself missing the taste of meat in their sandwiches. The food and coffee are good, and the place exudes a calm, peaceful atmosphere, perfect for moments of quiet reflection. The customer service is alright, though perhaps it's influenced by the local culture, where people tend to be more reserved, and it shows in the demeanor of those who live here. This is truly a haven for introverts.

Tama nga sila, ang ganda ng view. Mas nag-enjoy ako magbasa dito with the birds chirping in the background. As for the food, I might have liked the tofu adobo more if the tokwa is firmer, like freezing it before cooking. The tomato pasta and squash soup are sooo good. 😍 They provide quick service with pleasant smiles.

Pesto Pasta feels like home! The kind of rich flavor I would splurge again given the chance 😌 Gaia Sandwich is a must try! I paired it with Kamote Fries whose drizzles compliments the whole bite! 🥳 I tried Vegetarian Adobo during my first visit, it’s oozing with spices and rich flavor for an Adobo! 😋 Also, the only in season fruit is banana so Banana Shake was with me, too! 😅 They use organic ingredients and the place feels cozy. 🥹

The best food spot in Sagada that lives up to its promise… a vegetarian restaurant! I thought it was just another so-so food spot in the area. Their hot chocolate is THE BEST! (Better than baguio tsokolate batirol imo) Every thing i tasted in their menu tastes delicious: Pumpkin Soup, Adobong Tofu, and Gaia Sandwich (this one i ordered for take-out, then when i reheated it later it still tastes fresh and still flavorful. The view is breathtaking too. Definitely should not be missed when going to Sagada.

The location takes a longer walking distance from the town proper, but I enjoyed walking in Sagada. The place is neat and cozy. I would want to stay there for long hours. The food is great, I had their pesto and mixed ice cream. The pesto taste is not overpowering, it just suffice to the large serving of noodles. The ice cream is not very sweet, I liked it. The view while eating is what made it better. It is a bit pricey though. For the service, not sure if they lack staff but there was only one handling the entire place except the kitchen. It took a while to get the order, took a while for the dish to arrive too. By the way, they also sell other products and merch. I'm interested to try other dishes when I get back to Sagada.

Breathtaking view. Great and affordable food. Would love to come back. Last visit: July 2022 ✅ very friendly owners and staff ✅ if you prefer less to no crowd, go in the late afternoon for coffee, food or sweets. Food get served hot.

Visited Isang Wow Cafe and although we missed the famous sunrise cloud viewing, the afternoon view was still breathtaking with the Cordilleran mountains stretching out in front of us. The food was okay; tried the rabbit meat, but it was a bit on the chewy side. Still, the view alone makes it worth the trip!

This place has one of the best views you can get from a restaurant. It's even better if you come early to catch the sunrise, really peaceful and beautiful. The food servings are big, so you won’t leave hungry. We really liked the etag pancit—it has a unique, smoky taste that’s different from the usual pancit canton. The hot chocolate was also really good, thick, creamy, and perfect for the cold weather. The sandwich and rice meal were okay, not amazing, but still good. If you're in this part of Sagada, it's definitely worth checking out—for both the view and the food.

Liempo 8/10 Coffee choco float - 7/10 Overall experience was good. Nice view of the mountains. We enjoyed the unli rice and chicken oil. Oh by the way their free soup really taste like the one in mang inasal.

a food pit offering a sensible serving sizes of silog/rice meals, etag-flavored sandwiches and pasta/noodles and few other things; the stunning and refreshing view of the Cordilleras combined with the cool mountain breeze just make your dine-in a complete experience; place is located along the Sagada-Bontoc road a bit separated from the downtown but local tricycles are available; for those with own cars parking will be on the road itself; “sea of clouds” thing can be experienced if came early in the morning; it also sells a variety of souvenir items including etag; too, we’re grateful to the staff for allowing us to hang on for quite a while as we do our online ‘ems’ with strong wireless data around; our only complain: hot brewed coffee is not good.

Napaka ganda. This is a truly beautiful place, offering a breathtaking view of the sea of clouds floating above the lush green rice terraces.

An amazing and unique experience! Had a fantastic weekend, completely disconnected from the rest of the world. The facilities are top notch, surrounded by the mountains & clouds ⛅️ a must place to visit wen you travel to Sagada. They also sell Souvenirs and we bought Etag that you can buy w/ the same price in the local market. Just need to improve the Food and Drinks. Taste less. Especially the pancakes we had on the breakfast. But overall the Local owners is very polite and kind 😇 definitely will be back again. 🥰

View is spectacular but do bring a light jacket for when the wind blows. It is a family run business with help from some students from neighboring communities especially the Kilong area. Did a brisk early morning walk from Amlangan Lodge in the south end of town going uphill to work up an appetite. Was rewarded in the end with this heavenly view and good food.
