Great place to spend the afternoon exploring history and enjoying a beautiful property. We took the 20 minute tour of the main house and the 30 minute wagon ride through the grounds, both of which were very enjoyable. We brought our one year old along and found it helpful to know that strollers are not permitted inside the main home. We left ours at the entrance until the tour and wagon ride were finished. The oak trees lining the entrance are absolutely breathtaking and set the tone for the visit. I also recommend tuning your radio to the advertised FM station as you enter to hear interesting background information about the property.

We only had the time to visit one plantation home while in Savannah and I chose to visit Boone Hall over the others because of the live presentations they offer, beautiful garden and infamous drive up to the house - which was absolutely breathtaking! There are many places on the property for photo opps and you truly have a day’s worth of activities to choose from. If going just to tour an old plantation home this probably isn’t the place for you as you are only allowed on the lower level of the house and the tour is rather quick. An informative ride around the property is included, as well as several live presentations/talks. Everything is very well organized and visiting doesn’t require too much walking. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend!

Great day spent here. Ticket price includes all tours, which was nice. It was a beautiful day to spend outdoors. All the staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The Gullah presentation was interesting, the house was full of antiques and the gardens were full of life. Butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds

This was a recommended plantation tour from our hotel and I highly recommend it as well. That incredible history starts when you first pull in under a canopy of oak trees that are over 300 years old. You’ll recognize them from the movies. We took one of the Tractor tours throughout the property and the friendly tour guide gave us all the Rich history of the plantation from the past 400 years which was fascinating. They have a little restaurant and convenience store on the property plus a gift shop. I recommend touring through the slave homes and learning many different facets of life during that period. They insightfully and respectfully took you through history while also honoring so many. The mansion tour was rather interesting also - learning about the several plantation owners’ stories. Take a moment to tour the gardens (floral and butterfly) that help complete this great landmark.

Boone Hall Plantation has been one of the highlights of our trip (2025). With the government shutdown of national parks, we've been forced to seek out state and privately-operated attractions. When I Googled "best southern plantations to visit," Boone Hall Plantation was #1! After visiting, I wholeheartedly agree. The cost is reasonable. Admission includes entrance, parking, the house tour, a wagon ride through the estate, various presentations on historical topics, plus time to wander about. (Personally, the presentation on Gullah culture was my favorite.) Whatever your interest is in plantation life, you will not be disappointed. The staff members are fantastic! They are knowledgeable, courteous, and inject well-timed humor in their interactions with the guests. You are able to experience as little or as much of life at Boone Hall as you wish. A bit of advice: as soon as you arrive, go to the guest center. Speak to the representative at the desk and (s)he will schedule you on the next available tour. Fortunately, we just happened to do this and began our house tour within 20 minutes of arrival. Also, a bit of walking is involved. Walking on sandy paths is not easy for everyone. Boone Hall is a must see!

I've visited three different plantations in the Charleston South Carolina area and by far this is my favorite. Take me to this is still a working farm but I expect tourism breaks in most of their dollars. Regardless in this place at least they have most of the original plantation buildings. They also have a lot of brief informational speakers that give you a background of both the plantation and the history of the area for the 400 years or so this plantation has been in existence. Regardless this place is beautiful so if you're in the area I highly recommend stopping by and checking it out.

Best plantation we've visited in Charleston. Very interesting history. The tractor ride through the acreage was the best part giving the history from the beginning to present.

If you are looking for a casual spot with delicious food, Acme is a great choice. We did a walk in with 7 people and were seated right away. The servers were very friendly. This place is known for their shrimp and grits and I understand why. They have 6 different variations of their signature dish so definitely something for everyone. I went with the Isle of Palms shrimp and grits and it was DELICIOUS. I am still thinking about the blackened shrimp. We also ordered the fried green tomatoes which were also a hit!

Wow, the shrimp and grits "Lowcountry" style was amazing. The shrimp were fresh and the grits were delicious. Also had a great old fashion. My wife had a delicious combo of the best crab cake ever, scallops and shrimp. Server was friendly and very good. She wasn't pushy when we hung out a little after we ate. Thanks for the fantastic hospitality!!

Take a break from the beach! Come, ask for Jessica and enjoy your meal with awesome service. First time there, it won't be the last. Wife had a salmon salad for lunch, it was good, I enjoyed the crab cake sandwich and a local Indian pale ale. Desert was cheese cake and it was yummy!

Blackened shrimp succotash is superb. Tried the grit fries this visit and I could drink that Gouda cheese sauce (wish there was about double the amount to go with the massive grit fries personally). Also tried a few desserts, everyone loved their dishes.

Absolutely out of this world delicious. Five+ stars easily and a favorite in the Charleston area. Our server was sweet, attentive, and very helpful in helping make decisions. The location had onsite parking, plenty of seating, and was great for both indoor and outdoor. The food and drink were UNREAL delicious, especially the desserts I wish we lived nearby and could go weekly! Will absolutely be back!

This was amazing seafood. It started out with the wedge, which was a beautiful presentation and delicious. My wife and I had the mahi-mahi and the swordfish which were terrific. Very light and flavorful. I had a side of grilled shrimp which was just OK because there wasn’t a lot of flavor but the rest of the food, including the sweet cornbread was pretty awesome. I would highly recommend eating here.

Food was good. No substitutions. Waitress was nice, helped me decide and helped someone else in my party order. Wasn’t a big fan of the fried green tomatoes but everything else was absolutely excellent and fresh!!

We had an absolutely amazing experience! From spotting graceful stingrays and multiple pods of playful dolphins to collecting unique shells and observing beautiful birds, every moment was memorable. We even checked crab pots and got to hold a crab, which was such a fun surprise! Marsh, the boat dog, made the trip even more special, and our guides were both wonderful and incredibly educational. Truly an unforgettable outing — highly recommend!

I highly recommend this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. The scenery is beautiful; we saw dolphins, pelicans and hauled a blue crab trap. It’s the perfect length of time. We had kids ages 4-6 that really enjoyed it. They were able to move around the boat and explore Capers island. A highlight of our trip. Well worth the price of admission.

I booked the dolphin sunset trip and the experience was phenomenal. We had an all girl crew (shout out Nikki and Michelle) who were fantastic. They were both really knowledgeable, passionate, and willing to answer any and all questions (and made sure you were comfortable asking questions). We saw different dolphin pods, were taught about their behaviors, they pointed out the different birds that were around, talked to us about crabbing, and allowed us time to explore Bone Yard island. It was a great trip and I highly recommend to all. Bonus was we even got to hang out with the cutest pup, Shep!

Amazing! There aren’t enough words to describe how awesome this sunset cruise was! Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable and Robert was entertaining and great interacting with the kids. The scenery is stunning and Capers Island is magnificent. I will do that tour on my next trip here! Highly recommend!

This was the greatest tour! Nikki and Captain Michelle were extremely hospitable and knowledgeable. Lots of stop spotting dolphins, time on Capers Island at sunset was amazing!! Nikki really connects with all the guests on a personal level to assure a great experience. Would highly recommended this tour and the team!!

Captain Robert and Wahoo were very friendly and highly knowledgeable about the nature of the Lowcountry! I never worried about asking questions about anything we saw or heard on the excursion. It was one of the best experiences I have had on the water. I truly loved the sunset dolphin cruise. Whenever I do get a chance to come back to the island, I'll definitely want another tour! (Especially if Captain Robert can lead it! He was EXCELLENT!)

We had an awesome tour and beachside dinner with Barrier Island Eco Tours! Shane, Nike, and Amos (the Famous Dolphin Pointer) were great guides, and we are looking forward to our next tour with them!! This was a special event with South Carolina Aquarium so we also got to visit the shell islands and clean up litter, which was a really unique experience and felt like a great way to help out the local wildlife! What a fun and rewarding way to start the weekend.

Waitress was so friendly and food came out extremely quick. We were there at about 7:30 am after watching the sunrise. We got the fresh fruit platter which was huge, the veggie omelette and the crab omelette. Both were delish! It comes with a biscuit and home fries and personally think the prices were reasonable. The shirts were $25 which is just cheaper than any souvenir shop! (And they’re cuter)

Here with a group of friends. My meal, the daily omelet special was fantastic. The biscuits were perfection. My one friend cannot eat gluten. She ordered her meal with no toast or biscuits. The waitress rolled her eyes at her. My friend didn’t explain that she would have loved a biscuit, but couldn’t eat it, and she knew what to order. Then we waited forever to get our meals. The home fries were under cooked. It was a real mix of great food with poor service.

My pup and I had brunch on the porch. The place was very busy, the food excellent (I had the crab omlette), and the service kind. It's cash only (which was fine by me!)... yawl, there's an ATM right outside for those unprepared!

Enjoyed the mermaid atmosphere. Had ham Eggs Benedict on the breakfast potatoes instead of the English Muffins. Busy, crowded so go early. Loved the vibe and the service! Only issue was we asked for a side of sausage gravy for hubby, so he could try it w his biscuit, the charge was 6.50!

Small cute little place somewhat near the beach. Luckily we got a table right away. Took a minute to get anyone to give us water or even acknowledge us to take our order but again small and packed so not a lot of room for too many wait staff. It was a pretty humid day when we were there and it was super hot inside, no air only fans but that's ok. Food was good. Homemade. Basic breakfast menu, eggs, bacon, pancakes, biscuits, etc. Everything was good. Food also came out fast. Just beware.... They only take cash.

Ordered a benedict and I don't know who is in charge of the eggs but they cook it hard! Showed them what they gave me and they offered me another one but unfortunately it was semi hard too.

Wanted to give five stars. Just couldn't. Been coming to this restaurant for years and years when I come back to the Isle. The view of the marina is stunning. The food was fabulous. So why four stars? (1) There's not a lot of selection, menu is small. (2) I was absolutely unable to get my water refilled in 90 minutes. (3) Having reservations, and with the restaurant not being 'conpletely' full, there is no way that the parking lot should be completely full. It's one thing to have signs indicating which parking is yours, but without any enforcement, actual patrons are forced to walk from the paid parking at the marina... Not the greatest experience.

Pulled up in the boat for the 1st time. Great oysters & good. The salmon BLT was amazing. They were out of the fried saltines, which was a bummer because we wanted to try those, but otherwise everything was really good.

We were set to sit in the main dining room, but waited upstairs to wait for our table. They serve a different menu on the top deck. The food was great and the views were outstanding. It was a great evening, and being outside was perfect. The fish sandwich is the real deal. Look forward to going back.

I have seen Islander 71 on IG and have really been wanting to check it out. This place is back in the CUT! The drive is pretty as you do cut through a neighborhood to get to it. Once you arrive, the parking lot is huge and the parking is free and they do have valet available. We had reservations for inside but we ended up sitting outside instead as it was a bit chilly inside. Had we realized the menu inside was a bit different than the menu for the outside area, we would have requested a different table. The interior was beautiful and well put together. The outside has beautiful views of the water and they also have an astroturfed area where you can play a little corn hole and they have a stage for a live band. Plenty of seating available. For the food, I had the seared Ahi tuna sandwich w/ the risotto Saladin the side (I’ve never had tuna like this before so my first impression was that I needed to get used to it but the flavor was there and it was cooked well) and it looked great! We got the fries with the she crab soup drizzled over them and those were delicious (who would have thought that would have been a tasty combination?) We did get a separate order of the she crab soup and that was fantastic. There were plenty of good sized clumps of crab meat and it was flavorful and creamy. We will definitely be back to visit soon!

Beautiful views. Lots of space inside and outside. Friendly service. Shrimp trip appetizer was really good. My grilled flounder with side or roasted veges and fries was ok. The fries and veges were good. Flounder was a nice portion but taste was so so. Other plate ordered wa shrimp po boy wchich was good. Banana crème brûlée for desert was good!!

Great experience! We had a beautiful view of the water and phenomenal service from Wyatt 😊 Food was great, especially the Caesar salad and crab cakes!

Stopped in for a late lunch. The view and food were just what we were looking for. I enjoyed the Poke and some she crab soup. We then shared desserts. They were all winners.

We stopped here tonight after driving into town to visit. We were immediately seated. We ordered the gyoza, crab cheese wonton, angry dragon roll, pad thai with chicken and the shrimp and steak hibachi. First off the appetizers came out immediately after the soup and salad and then they brought the sushi. Then about 3 minutes later our entrees were brought to our table. We weren't able to even finish one appetizer before we had our entrees. Staggering the dishes works wonders so customers dont feel rushed and have plenty of room. The freshness of the sushi and the flavor was off the charts. Some of the best gyoza and the crab cheese wonton was top 5 quality. We've tried alot. The steak and shrimp was good but the rice lacked flavor and was just bland. The yum yum sauce was a bit too sweet but the downer was the pad thai. It didnt have that sweet taste that the usual pad thai has..maybe it was missing palm sugar or tamarind paste. They did give us dessert on the house which seemed to be for each table which was nice.

This is a good place for sushi. The atmosphere inside is quiet and pleasant. The sushi was made around 10-15 mins after ordering, but I think the reason why the service was fast was because there weren’t that many people at the time. The sushi were great, the sashimi was not too fresh, but it was enjoyable. The staff were polite and generous, we got free desert! The desert was small, but still free. I would recommend this place to another person.

The food was delicious! They have variety, good service and was very welcoming to a group of 7. Highly recommend if you like sushi, some of the freshest and great tasting that we have had in awhile!!! And their fried rice was delicious as well!

Little gem, cozy place with really good and delicious food, everything was freshly made, steaming hot and well presented. Once you step in you will be greeted nicely and seated. The waiting es minimal, I ordered the hibachi steak lunch plate, the miso soup was excellent, the salad with their special sauce was fantastic (I'm not a salad person but this one I really liked it). The hibachi steak with rice was fresh straight from the griddle to my plate, and it was delicious! All it's flavors, the tenderness of the meat, I loved every bite. I usually don't go to Mount Pleasant but next time I know where I want to eat. 5 stars!

We were seated immediately and the service was incredibly quick. Everyone was super nice. The food was fantastic! I had the crab rangoons and a SC crunch roll and YUM! If we are in the area again we will definitely stop by.

Great food, amazing views, awesome vibes. Inside dinning is an option, but the roof top bar and dinning is where it is at. Located right beside public access to beach. Check out the lower patio as well with its hanging swings and photo backdrops.

Loved the food here. The grouper bites are delicious and filling. The portion sizes are more than acceptable. The restaurant has a great view, the servers are friendly and responsive. The only negative things I can say are the restaurant has an odd odor to it inside, and we didn't care for the cooks blasting their music over the main restaurant's music. Kinda killed the calm, enjoyable atmosphere that we were expecting.

Disappointing Dining, Gorgeous View Stopped by Coconut Joe’s hoping for good beachside vibes and left with a beautiful view… and a parking ticket. Let’s start with the only highlight — the location. You can’t beat the view: right on the beach, salty breeze, and a front-row seat to the ocean. It’s the perfect spot if you just want a drink and a view. Unfortunately, everything else fell flat. Service was painfully slow — we waited over 35 minutes for food, and when it finally showed up, it tasted like it had been waiting just as long under a heat lamp. Dull, bland, and overpriced. Word of warning: make sure to pay for street parking or you’ll walk away with more than just a bad taste — you’ll be funding the local government with a nice little fine. With so many great spots in the area, this one’s best enjoyed from afar — like, maybe just admire it from the beach and move on

The food was great. The Grouper bites was an appetizer was a lie. There is enough in this for 2 dinners just get a side each. These things are delicious. I also got the scallops, Coconut shrimp, fried shrimp, and blackened shrimp. The food was all very good. We sat outside and watched the dolphins.

We stopped by Coconut Joe’s on Isle of Palms during our vacation, and it was exactly the kind of laid-back, beachy spot we were hoping for. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming—fun signage, casual seating, and definitely all the “beach vibes only” energy promised at the entrance. We tried a little bit of everything, from the fried pickles and gator bites to the coconut shrimp, grilled seafood, and burgers. The portions were generous, and everything came out fresh and hot. Highlights were the coconut shrimp (crispy, juicy, and full of flavor) and the green beans—yes, even the green beans were surprisingly good and the coleslaw was creamy. The staff was friendly, and even though the place was busy, service stayed upbeat and helpful. It felt like a real beachside tradition, and judging by the crowd, we’re not the only ones who think so. Definitely a fun, casual place to grab seafood and enjoy the relaxed vibe of Isle of Palms. Would gladly come back again!

Overpriced drinks. Drink tasted like straight juice and sugar (was supposed to be a whiskey drink). Terrible service. Only saw the server twice and it wasn’t even busy (wed night). Not even provided with napkins or silverwares with our food. To top it off, the server stared at what my husband was tipping on the handhelp POS. Made us feel very uncomfortable. I hope someone else has a better experience but ours wasn’t good. Will not be coming back or recommend.

Really good beach side restaurant. We did not expect karaoke thing. But that's just me... Nachos were delicious!!!!!! Big Kona Cocktail was rich and tasty!

They were kind enough to let us host the 4th Birthday Party for Breeze Airways. Our Charleston based team members were taken great care of by the kitchen staff and bartenders Nikki and Brad. Garc was exceptional to plan the event with and made sure all our needs were taken care of with ease! Perfect spot for a night out or a fun corporate get together by the beach! Great food, drinks, super reasonable prices, and again FANTASTIC STAFF!!!

We visited on a Friday and Saturday night, and what an incredible surprise Friday turned out to be! #Evergreen was performing outside, and the amazing #TheNovatones band playing inside was just as impressive. What a fantastic experience! Security was present to screen guests, and you could grab drinks from both the indoor and outdoor bars. When you open a tab, they give you a ticket you can use at any bar—super convenient. Next time we’re in Isle of Palms, SC, this spot is definitely on our list for great live music and a fun atmosphere!

Fun and unique music venue. Listen to your favorite band with your feet in the sand. Plenty of bars so lines are never too long. Friendly staff. Good selection of bands.

Great Restaurant, the Food was amazing and you have a beautiful view of the Beach.

Vibes are immaculate. This is a *bar* and *club* full stop. Go for the great drinks, amazing service, and good music. Don't come for food, but the fact they offer it is a plus.

I love the Windjammer. I helped build it after Hurricane Hugo, but I I had that designated as my to go bar since I turned 18 and became beer legal. The bands that they host invarible become major label signed talent. If you ever go to Isle of Palms, SC the Windjammer is a very must see place.

Just had my first experience watching a show at this venue and it was top notch! I saw Daniel Donato play here and the atmosphere, crowd, lighting, bar staff, everything was on point. To have your toes in the sand or watch from the safety of the balcony you can’t go wrong. Make sure you come here to check out some live music ! I did not try any of the food.

Lovely way to spend a day. Clean restrooms, parking ($$ but with in-out privileges, so net positive), changing cabanas, outdoor showers, shaded picnic tables, volleyball court. Some shells for collecting. Water was nice and warm, no dangerous critters to be seen. Watch and listen to the reports, though, nature is always unpredictable.

Great clean beach with reasonable parking ($25 for the day). Just be mindful to head out on time before the gate closes! Rinse off stations were clean and well maintained. The beach itself was gorgeous and also very clean. While it was crowded (as expected for a nice summer day), I never felt like anyone was breathing down my neck.

Beautiful beach! We go early and never have issues finding parking. It doesn’t get too busy until mid day (during the week). We’ve gone 3 times in a week!

Visiting from Nebraska back in June 2022. Our family had a blast. I can't swim but my husband could & our daughter can. I knew I was safe in my husband's hands/arms. He was country strong. I always wanted to go to a beach & my husband finally got me there. Such a beautiful site. I could have stayed there all day. It's really crowed but The people are very friendly & don't mind when kids trampled them on accident. This beach is family oriented. The best part was jumping when the waves came. It was super fun!! I will always have these memories as long as my memory operates. I lost my husband in July 2022, a month after this amazing vacation & I've been torn every since. Cherish those moments because you never know when those might be your last memory with someone. 😢

The food here is mediocre, you can find much better food other places around here. There is live entertainment and that was lovely. The bar is so busy all the time and it took a long time for them to take my order and bring my food. They do give you your drinks right away. If you're going here for the good vibes and just want a little snack (not a meal) then it will be a good option. If you're looking for good food and service, this place isn't it.

Let me make this perfectly clear. You must order at the bar. Don’t come in and sit at a table, come in, order your food and drinks at the bar and then sit down. The place is great, the mood is great, there is island music, outdoor seating, plenty of sights to see. But you must order your food at the bar. But really, the food was fantastic and the beer was cold. Let me also say that the staff was amazing.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to shout out the amazing experience me and my family had at Smugglers today! The vibe was great, music on point, and the bartender Zoe made our day!!! Super friendly, remembered our drinks after just one round, made us feel like her only customers while handling an entire bar full of people and made some killer recommendations. You can tell she actually cares about what she's doing and not just slingin' drinks around. This kind of service makes all the difference and rare to find anymore!!!!! Definitely coming back because of Zoe and the yummy food! HIGHLY recommend the swimming shrimp.

They never cease to amaze me. The home made pot pie, soup, etc is top notch. The servers are fun & friendly & the atmosphere is the best. They treat you like family and you can’t get this combination anywhere else.

Diamond in the rough! The food is wayyy better than your typical bar food and David, our server was awesome! He had great recommendations and usually not a fan of fried seafood but they have the best fried shrimp we had ever had! Cool spot.

This is located in front of coconuts Joes! Great place to watch the sunset! Fish and chips was yummy! Service was fast and staff was friendly. They even had a guitar man playing! Lots of rum choices! I had a non-alcoholic strawberry daiquiri! Very good!

We have been a fan Cachita’s food trailer for years. We moved to the other side of the harbor so we don’t get the chance to go as much. We happened to be in Mt. Pleasant and decided to pop over to IOP to check out Papi’s/Cachita’s and we were not disappointed. We both got the same order and it was fantastic. If you like it hot have them dice up Serrano peppers in your order. They are spicy and fantastic!

Finally made it to Papi’s on IOP tonight. Wow, bloody wow… We’ve heard so many great things about this place, but have never popped in to check it out even though we live just minutes away. Tonight was the night… What a treat, what an experience, just spectacular. From the time we walked in till the time we left, we were treated like family. The bartender / server “Hollie” was more than accommodating. She recommended their sushi style fully loaded fish roll. Talk about a circus in your mouth. I thanked baby Jesus after I finished that heavenly dish. 🙏😇. Even better, their margaritas and assortment of tequila’s are abundant and off the charts. Highly recommend… 5 Stars ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ and 3 Thumbs Up From Us 👍👍👍.

Pretty solid Mexican food, especially in an area that doesn’t have a ton of diverse food options. The blackened mahi mahi taco was one of the best fish tacos I’ve had in a long time and the nachos were a generous portion, perfect for splitting! Also, highly recommend trying a watermelon Cadillac margarita, because it was perfect after a long hot day at the beach!

Not sure how this has over 4 stars. The staff was nice enough but I would probably rather eat at Taco Bell (and I despise Taco Bell). Street Tacos: 2/5 Taco Salad: 2.5/5

Small taco restaurant with seating on multiple levels. I was visiting from out of town with my Mexican wife and another Mexican couple. The weather was bad so we decided to get lunch. Al Pastor tacos are authentic and money. Because of the weather, downtown Charleston had many flooded roads. I asked our server who was local what we should do. She hand wrote a list for us to take with us to explore Mt. Pleasant. She really went out of her way. Loved this little find and the staff made it that much better.

Yes yes yes yes yes! This place is amazing! One of the best before or after beach spots. They have a really good variety on the menu, and it was all packed with so much flavor! Nothing beats a fresh suntan, salty hair, a margarita in your hand, and a tray full of yummy tacos! 🌮

Good spot to enjoy ice cream after the beach. They have limited selection of flavors. Quick service, even the long queue moves fast. They have few tables to provide limited seating.

Stopped here on the way home for some ice cream and appreciated the friendly staff. Took ours to go as the rain was starting. Cashier made sure we had extra napkins and spoons for our ice cream. Lots of shopping and dining nearby if you want to make it a part of your evening.

Great Ben & Jerrys 🍨🍦 ice cream at a small little stand. The quality you expect but the selection can be sparse and more expensive than buying a pint for yourself at the Harris Teeter down the road. They do have ♿ handicap accessible parking, seating, and ramps.

Good icecream but ridiculous prices... Small establishment with window service and some outdoor seating which is nice but just because a business comes up with a few clever names for icecream doesnt mean that icecream (or ANY icecream) is worth the prices they charge

The staff was friendly and the ice cream was good. I was disappointed when faced with the bill knowing one scoop cost more than a pint of their ice cream in the store. They also charge you $1 for whipped cream and $1 for sprinkles. They left 3 of my 4 ice creams lacking both whipped cream and sprinkles after I gladly paid them for it and also gave a gratuitous tip. They ran out of wooden spoons and the trash cans were overflowing. The seating areas were disgusting. We left feeling disappointed and wishing someone was there to better manage the place. Try harder Ben and Jerry’s! You can do better!

A perfect spot for an ice cream shop! We met some friends and all got ice cream and then headed to the beach. It’s an outdoor stand with some pavilion style seating. We got salted caramel, chunky monkey, and cookie dough ice cream on waffle cones. Everyone was very happy with their choices and we will definitely come again next time

Good ice cream served by hardworking teens. I was ordering during a rush but the workers were efficient and got through the line quickly. Sure the price may be high but what do you expect from a place right in the center of IOP.

we were here for 2.5 days and upon research, we decided to check out this island too. Isle of Palms features a beautiful beach, delicious dining options, a marina, and endless activities on and off the water! it is located on one of the more upscale, family-friendly, and non-commercialized beaches in the Charleston area. With over 600 feet of oceanfront, this county park is a great place to enjoy a day at the beach. The park has picnic tables and grills, so beachgoers can pack a picnic lunch or grab a snack at the concessions stand. The park also boasts boardwalks, sand volleyball, and a children’s playground Fee: No fee but Parking is $15 for a full day. This is a popular park, so visitors need to arrive early in the summer, especially on the weekends, because parking is limited

One way in... one way out‼️ What a perfect storm... pun intended. It began to lightning, so there was a mass exodus from the beach. They leave signs to direct traffic as opposed to a staff member or non-emergency police. I understand the risk with lightning, but at least change the traffic pattern for a traffic circle to send people left. You are charging $25 per vehicle to park! That's what I pay for a garage in downtown Atlanta. The lot hasn't been updated since I used to come here in college in the late 90s. What is the money being used for...why is it no longer $7 exactly⁉️ We sat in one spot for 30 mins...typing review while I wait. Then the rain started. I'll update the review with how long it took to get out. I'll never park here again. Great day at the beach (2nd star), but coming here in general is now in question. I would be triggered from this overpriced, uncoordinated, nonsensical surface parking lot experience. 🫩🙄 Update: It took 1 hour 40 minutes to get out of the parking lot. I turned left and face little to no traffic. I don't even live in the low country anymore and knew that was the move. Traffic country would know to send people that way... 😒

Great spot for a day at the beach. It's $15 for parking during the week and $25 on the weekend. Our airbnb had a pass which was great. There are nice bathrooms, changing stalls, and lots of places to rinse off. My kids liked the playground and I liked the lifeguards 10am -6pm!

Amazing amenities. Fair parking even when crowded. Beautiful Beach. Only negative is the crowd at peak time although all folks were friendly and well behaved.

The Isle of Palms County Park is great! It's easy to get to and parking is pretty easy. I love that they have restrooms, bath houses, a playground and shaded areas. The ramp is convenient for the beach carts and if you need anything, the store has it all. Very kid friendly.

We loved our stay in the Isle of Palms. The house was perfectly setup for our group and was super convenient as far as access to the Isle of Palms and Charleston area. The house was amazing and our Dunes rental was a great home base to experience the food and culture of the area.

This year, 2013, is my third time staying at Pelican Bay 35. Have stayed once with my family and twice with a group of girlfriends. It is just a great property ~ well-maintained, well-appointed and very comfortable. Review from 2012: Our week at Pelican Bay 35 on Wild Dunes was great! This house is spotlessly clean, very comfortable, so nicely decorated and well-equipped, especially the kitchen. The owners have thoughtfully provided a beach cart, child gates, booster chair and even a card table for puzzles which they also supplies. The 3 porches were great for morning coffee (on the golf course side) and evening rocking (on the ocean side). There were several TVs but we only watched a few DVDs. The walk to the beach was pleasant, the pool was nice and it was one of our very best property experiences in 21 years of staying on Wild Dunes. The staff at Dunes Property was helpful, friendly, pleasant. Just what you hope for for your vacation. Highly recommend!

35 Pelican Bay is very nice! We enjoyed it so much. The location being close to the ocean and the pool was great! The porches are so nice too. Susan and Wes took great care of us. Would love to stay at this house again!

We stayed on Folly Beach at a Dunes Property- Ocean Front Villas. The unit location was perfect with all the space and amenities. The unit was dirty, The sheets and towels provided by the linen service were clean. The bedspreads and curtains were stained. As were the carpets through out the unit. We have stayed at the dunes in years past in a different unit. That one was clean and perfect which brought us back this year. We would not stay in that unit again.

Had a “girls week away” trip and LOVED the property on Grand Pavilion. Great beach access, comfortable beds, plenty of space for all. Easy access to everything “touristy”. I would highly recommend this place.

Called asked to have someone come out because the water in the shower was going down. Someone came and we were told the problem was taken care of, the next morning same problem. Then the toilet started running continuously at night, called next morning 31/2 hours later no return call. Fixed the toilet myself. Called the office again and was told a work order was in and no idea when it would be fixed. Their reply was good so I can cancel the work order, I told them that I had an invoice for my work. While the condo is perfect, the bulldozers, dump trucks, and noise is horrible. We have been out on the beach for 3 hours today and trucks moving back and forth have absolutely ruined our day. We should have been told that there would be this mess during our stay.

My sister and brother-in-law and I spent four nights at the Oceanside Villa on the Isle of Palms. We had a wonderful stay there. The facilities were very clean. The beds were comfortable. The whole complex was very quiet, our rooms were very quiet. I loved being so close to the beach. It took 2 minutes and 45 seconds to walk from the door of my unit to the beach! I could also see the ocean from my bedroom window. There are two wonderful coffee shops in 5 to 10 minute walking distance, a large grocery store, and several fantastic restaurants also just a few minutes walk from our building.

What a beautiful property and convenient location. I was concerned how it would be to have to walk up three flights of stairs but it wasn't an issue, especially since we had a great breeze! The property was very clean and the mattresses were extremely comfortable. Carolina Properties gave detailed information about what was included and not included so we could be well prepared. The bathroom in the hallway had an issue with continuing to run and someone was there to repair it within a few hours. I have been very impressed with the rental agency and wouldn't hesitate to rent from them again, even perhaps at the same location.

This Rental is absolutely perfect, especially for large groups. It's exceptionally clean, all of the beds are comfortable and everything that you can possibly need is there. The owners did a great job of providing comfort and class. I could only give 5 stars but this place is a perfect 10!!!!

The home at 1Palm Court Isle of Palms is lovely! We enjoyed our time there very much. The sound machines help soften the loud traffic noise & the home is well stocked. There are a few items that need attention. The kitchen exhaust fan is in need of a deep & thorough cleaning. There is a large branch on the upper deck that rubs and you can hear the squeaky noise in the front bedroom. The double wooden doors don’t open & garage needs a deep clean, organization & more lighting. Carolina One repaired 2 items quickly and completely. They are a great company to rent from.

This store is full of souvenirs and other items needed for the beach. In my opinion, many of these items are overpriced. The blue and yellow macaw named Bubba is definitely the main attraction here. At 26 years old he has a large vocabulary. Worth the trip just to see him.

I really hope someone opens a similar store in isle of palms. I’m so used to 5-10 dollar souvenir shirts at the beach and this place has the audacity to charge 40 because they’re the only gig in town. Price gouging at its finest and it’s sad to see a store owner try to take advantage of their customers like this, I presume that’s why there was no one else in there when I visited.

The older lady at the counter is so rude and unwelcoming. We had several items to buy for gifts and went to the other gift shop instead after several interactions with her and she was rude when trying to talk to her. Skip this place and go see Bubba instead at "My favorite things" instead.

We bought a skim board l, walked out to the car, and my son said it wasn’t the one he wanted. We walked back in, and they wouldn’t give us a refund. It had been less than five minutes and it was $200

I came in about a week and a half ago and I’m still disturbed by the customer service. I came to the store to get boogie boards, skim boards and goggles for 5 boys. I was with my son who has special needs. As we started shopping, he told me he had a bathroom emergency, I told the front lady our situation and she wouldn’t let us use the restroom and rudely told us to walk to the public beach bathroom who knows where. We had driven 15 mins just to come to her shop. We had no idea where she even meant and left the store in a panic situation. Horrible horrible treatment.

Bought some sunglasses. Less than 2 hours later they broke so I brought them back to try and exchange them. Anyways-manager was rude, didn’t let me exchange because she “didn’t know what I had done with them”. They’re sunglasses ? I wore them? 2hours lol. Anyways. Awful customer service.

Pizzeria very close to the beach! Prices were good and staff was friendly. Pizza crust was a little bland, but the toppings and cheese were perfect. Side salad was good. We will return during our next visit to Isle of Palms!

Just wasn’t very good. I did not try the pizza so I can’t speak to that. The wings were dry and didn’t have much taste. Spaghetti was plain . Cher steak was not made of cheesesteak just roast beef making it tuff. While I understand no dinning in during this time. Silverware would have been nice.

I called to see if they had GLUTEN-FREE and Dairy free options and Craig the manager said THEY DO!!!! Sometimes you just need pizza! I ordered a 10" gluten free and dairy free pizza with pepperoni. (They have a larger size that's 14".) The pizza did not disappoint. Super good and I ate all but 2 slices. Oh, just make sure to let them know, no parmesan when ordering vegan. My friend ordered a BBQ chicken pizza. Hers looked amazing. You know it's going to be good when the pizza dough isn't a perfect circle! As far as other gluten free and dairy free options, I'm not sure. I came for pizza, and I got yummy pizza! I love the red checkered tablecloths and the parmesan and red pepper shakers. Perfect for a pizzeria! And it's perfectly situated next to a Ben & Jerry's. We I HIGHLY recommend for gluten free and vegan cheese pizza!

I got the smallest personal pie with mushrooms, anchovies and spinach for $18.30. The crust was perfect and the toppings delicious, not quite enough mushrooms, but they were chopped nicely. It took at least 20 minutes, but I ordered right when they opened at 11 AM. Also, it’s not Luke and Ollies anymore and not their menu. It’s IOPizza but if you click through you get the right menu.

This place is near our condo so we were able to walk down within a minute to grab dinner. The hubs ordered at Stromboli, which he completely enjoyed. I had a cheese calzone, that was delicious. The hubs wasn't a super fan of the chunky marinara dipping sauce. But the flavor was good. This isn't a wood fired / brick oven type of crust with that crunch, however it was still very good. We are definitely looking forward to trying a pizza soon.

Great gluten-free pizza. I got it with just spinach and it was delicious! Family got the cheesesteak sandwich and went on and on about how it was the best one they have ever tried. Highly recommend this restaurant!

This Pizzeria feels like home! The pizza is amazing in the NY style and they are also serving burger, subs, wraps and salads for example. Additionally they have happy hours and a lot more.

Took time in Refuge and tried their crab cake eggs Benedict and Maine cocktail, both of which were fantastic. The design and delivery of the food stood up to its flavor and It makes me want to come back for more. If you just need a coffee and some relaxation, there is an attached cafe that is quieter than the rest of the restaurant and easy to focus in. Fantastic spot!

My wife and I stopped by the Refuge Restaurant for brunch while waiting for an early check-in at our accommodations, and we enjoyed the experience! I ordered the western omelet with home fries, and it was perfectly cooked—fluffy, flavorful, and paired with crispy, well-seasoned fries. My wife got the berry pancakes, which were light, fluffy, and bursting with fresh berry goodness. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made it even better. The service was top-notch, and we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!

I have eaten here several times and the food is consistently cooked very well. I have never eaten anything that I did not like or lacked flavor. My group and I started with the BLT Deviled Eggs, Burrata Caprese, and She Crab Soup, all of which were outstanding. I ordered the Seared Scallops with brussel sprouts, mixed vegetables and sweet potato puree. The scallops had a parmesean crust that was simply delicous and satifying, the brussel sprouts were crispy and the sweet potato puree was creamy. The presentation of the dish was stunning that gave you that fine dining experience. My friend had the Chicken Pesto Tortellini. The dish had a lemon pesto cream sauce that was excellent. We finished with a key lime pie that was light and refreshhing along with a gluten free carrot cake, that my friend said you could not tell it was gluten free, and yes it had a light cream cheese icing. The Refuge partners with a local bakery, so no packaged desserts. The service was awesome, our waiter was polite, friendly and attentive. He was very knowledgable about the menu and dishes. He gave his top 3 for appetizers, entrees, and desserts. He also guided my friend to gluten free options on the menu. Overall I would highly recommend The Refuge.

Thursday night dinner here was great. We got the crab dip and crab soup. Soup was good but the dip was incredible i highly recommend. Both entrees were great also. Seared scallops and a Thai coconut shrimp. We got the thyme in Maine as cocktails and honestly didn’t like them. The restaurant took them back and got us something else. Great food, service and the interior was very cool.

Super cute, clean, modern restaurant. Great service & food. Espresso martini was delicious! We ordered the She Crab Soup, fresh Lobster, crab cake (HUGE), and grilled shrimp (my son said it was his favorite he's ever had), Tuna TarTar with crispy wontons.. only complaint was the wontons were not crispy- more chewy, so we just ate the tuna without.

Wasn't impressed, i was hoping for better. Had a basic breakfast with sausage, only got one small patty, got charged an extra 1.50 for a biscuit. The whole thing was 18.00 for something so simple. To much salt on the meal. Got charged extra for using card. Overall the experience was lacking

Dined at Refuge on 10/08. She-crab soup was outstanding. My wife had trigger fish and raved about it and the rice. I had shrimp and grits - the serving size was too large (I would offer a half size on the menu). Aside from the, it was excellent - grits were cooked perfectly, shrimp nicely seasoned, Tasso gravy was delicious. Waitstaff was attentive, drinks were great. Highly recommend!

Got a small Hawaiian and a beer, $23. Went at 8pm on a Sunday, I was the only customer inside the dining room. Pizza was only 10” which I was not expecting it to be that small. Crust was dry and almost burnt. Onions were raw. Atmosphere was a cool vibe. Server had zero personality, could care less that I was there. It was very meh. Go somewhere else until the owner of this place makes some changes. 9/29/24

Always our go to spot when in Isle of Palms. It's across the street from the beach access. Great customer service and the food is phenomenal. The people are amazing. "Eliza"... I hope that is right, was the bartender the day we stopped in. I told her we lived in Asheville, she asked about the hurricane and how we faired. It was super sweet and I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation. Thank you so much!

Went here on Labor Day weekend for a quick take out dinner. This was the most disappointing place I have been to in a long time. We waited an hour for a few hot/cold Italian subs. When we got home, we had the most disappointing sandwich you could ask for. None of the “hot” were even mildly toasted. Kitchen was noticeably in disarray. Have better from a gas station. But the wait staff was friendly

We came across this place while walking back to our car. Located right across the street of the beach access. Price are comparable with other touristic area restaurant. We order cheese pizza and an Italian sandwich. The crust of the thing pizza was perfect and the house dressing on the Italian sandwich was outstanding.

I love this place. Pizza is good, Italian sub us good and the meatball sub was delicious. Lauren was our server and she served! She's a great human and loved how she interacted with my child. Thanks Lauren for your customer service and just being kind.

Over the years I have dined at the Boathouse more times than I can count. The Sunset views from the rooftop bar are beautiful, The ambiance of being surrounded by water so peaceful and so “vacation.” While the food has always been delicious, it was different at our last visit. We had dinner there the evening of September 11 and enjoyed what can only be described as a “dining experience” that we will be talking about from now on. The entire meal was just “over-the-top”. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. Our party ordered 4 separate entrees and each was fabulous. And let’s talk about oysters. The Oysters Rockefeller were incredible!!! We ordered 1/2 dozen and then ordered another 1/2 dozen and probably would have ordered ANOTHER if we didn’t have entrees coming. Hands-down, the absolute best ever!! This restaurant has always been a favorite and continues to be!! They also have Valet parking so you don’t need to worry about finding a place to park. Highly recommend the Boathouse and it should definitely be a dining destination when on in and around IOP, Mt. Pleasant and Charleston !!

I've heard great things about this spot from long-time locals, and we had a lovely meal. Aside from our server not being attentive and messing some things up on our order, everything was terrific. We also had a reservation, but still had to wait over 30 minutes for our table. They have a small rooftop where you can get a drink or two before your table is ready. Vallet parking was a nice touch. It is priced on the higher end, but is an excellent spot for anniversaries or special occasions. I cannot say enough good things about their crab cakes. I was also impressed by their blue cheese coleslaw. Overall, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu here!

The Boathouse has a stunning view of the sunset plus incredible food and excellent service!! It's a warm and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. We enjoyed all our food and drinks the other night! Highly recommend the butter poached asparagus and homemade creme brulee for dessert! Definitely add The Boathouse to your list of spots while visiting the area. *Big perk is complimentary valet parking!

I went there for the first time for my birthday and it was such a great experience and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing!!! I will definitely go back and recommend to everyone!

WOW!! The views, service the food were all top-notch! We enjoyed sitting outside watching dolphins while we ate. The cocktails, especially the pecan old-fashioned, were amazing! The scallops were the best we've ever had and the crab cakes were delicious! Also don't skip the turtle cheesecake for dessert, it was out of this world! Would highly recommend and would definitely come back!

The Boathouse at Breach Inlet is a Charleston gem! Stunning waterfront views, relaxed coastal vibes, and incredible food make it unforgettable. Perfect spot to soak in the sunset while enjoying fresh seafood and Lowcountry livin!

Suggest tons of caution if renting from this company. We rented "Ocean View"@411 Ocean Blvd, for 8 days in Oct. 2024. We are long-time renters on IOP. This was the worst experience on the island, worse still b/c we had 4 family groups from across the country for this vacay. At checkout, Exclusive Properties provided a form for us to note defects and problems; also whether we would leave a positive review and that they would send a link to enter one: to answer honestly, I checked "no". No surprise that I was never provided a link. So I am leaving the review here since the company clearly does not want me to post negatively on their site - hence the reason for caution for other renters, as you are not seeing a complete picture of guest comments on their site. Pro: - Communication was prompt and clear. - Location is great – one lot away from a short beach access path. Near enough to shops and a few restaurants, but not so close to the bars to have noise at night. - 2nd floor bedrooms were each pretty quiet – didn’t hear much from other guests in the house - Pretty clean Cons: Deceptive advertising - 7th bedroom is a converted office that really should not be counted as a bedroom. It has no closet and no bathroom; its only bathroom access is to the main powder room for the house, or barge into the owner’s suite, or go downstairs. Also faces the kitchen via clear French doors with curtains, so tends to be noisy and has minimal privacy. During our stay, the 2nd floor (5 bedrooms) HVAC blower fan lost a bolt and loosened others, so at about 11PM the fan began banging against the side of its housing causing a horrific noise that woke us all up – only resolution on a warm night was to shut it off for the night. HVAC repair team came the next afternoon to repair it. Spa (hot tub) is barely functional. The spa-side controls are completely not functioning, so control required going down to the basement/garage, to a dingy, wet, dark space and using the master control panel for the entire pool/spa setup. It’s not the most intuitive panel (we have owned a pool and hot tub so this isn’t new turf for us). If you don’t pay for the pool to be heated, the spa spills into the pools so effectively you are doing so anyway and have to keep running to the basement every few hours to toggle settings. Pool company had to visit 3x during our visit. Dishwasher is not being maintained: the tub filter was completely clogged with so much stuff that it seems to have harmed other components, per the appliance repair team that had to service it while we were there. In short, we had no dishwasher for ½ the week – which was a problem as we cooked a family dinner almost every night. Washing machine is mold-laden: due to the small size of the laundry room, it’s hard for guests to keep the machine door open, so it stays closed and just reeks of mold – even the soap drawer was caked with mold. Dryer doesn’t work well – probably needs to have the exhaust hose thoroughly cleaned; most loads required running several times. General deferred maintenance: - peeling paint, - worn furnishings, - stains on couch, - range potfiller faucet spews water. Poorly equipped: - the property management company does not have and therefore does not check an equipment list (verified). - No grill scrubber (but guests are required to leave the grill clean). - Door locks onto the wraparound balconies on 2nd and 3rd floors are getting very finicky to lock (several require one person to push from outside on the bottom of the door while someone inside locks the door). Note: Exclusive Properties did let me know afterwards that they do not offer any compensation to renters who experienced such problems. I received an apology, and that they have since replaced the dishwasher and repaired the washing machine. No idea if the spa is working. Would never rent from them again. They did not charge us for using propane for the spa while we were there, and towards the middle of the week comped heating the pool for rest of the week. But nothing more.

Besides my hometown in WNC I find such peace when visiting the IOP (especially in the off season) For my 60th birthday I wanted to be at the IOP for a few day's alone with my dog and a few day's with my daughters. I booked for 9 nights and stayed for 12 nights. 124 Charlestons Genesis is exactly as described by Exclusive Properties. Such a beautiful well thought out home in a quiet neighborhood that I promise you will find peace and relaxation!!! The variety of in-house books provided while sitting outside are so amazing. The hottub at night under the palmetto trees and stars is worth every penny!!! Exclusive properties is the best property management group I have ever delt with! Messaging and contact was unbelievable as was Karen and Sandy!! I so appreciate the contact allowing myself early check in and again working with me on additional dates to check out as my daughter did have car issues which required an additional stay over. During our stay my daughter's, myself and my dog felt safe and at home for our stay!! Many thanks to Exclusive Properties, see you next yeat!!

Our group of 22 high school friends (Chix of 66) had a great stay at Sea Palace. The home is beautiful and the spacious accommodations were wonderful. We loved to gather on the third floor to eat and just sit and visit. The bedrooms were nice and plenty of bathrooms. Meagan and the others in the office were very receptive to any questions that we had and acted promptly when we had an issue with hot water in one of the bathrooms. The walk to the beach was easy and the pool was wonderful. We would stay there again.

Barbados was our home for the celebration of our 50th Wedding Anniversary. All aspects of the house, and property, exceeded the expectations of our family of eighteen. The house was exceptionally clean, and furnished appropriately for the number of guests. The kitchen was well stocked with extensive cookware and dinnerware. Having two refrigerators, ice maker, microwave, gourmet oven, grill, etc. was very effective in providing cooked meals for the family. The pool and boardwalk access to the beach are in excellent condition. Exclusive Properties and the Barbados were the perfect hosts for a family gathering.

This is the second year in a row that I've rented from Exclusive Properties and I can't say enough about how professional this company is...their attention to detail...their willingness to go above and beyond to make sure their guests are happy. Don't hesitate for a second to do business with these amazing people!

Myself and 8 other friends stayed at the Whispering Palms - 8 31st. It was incredible. We were there for a friends wedding on the beach. The house was awesome. It had 5 bedrooms with each bedroom having its own bathroom, which was super convenient for us. We only had one person drive but it had a 4 Door garage with a ton of space. The garage also had a ton of beach toys. It also had an ice machine which was a hidden gem because we were able to supply ice all weekend for our activities. The upstairs living area was awesome. A ton of space and seating for all of us to be together comfortably. It’s location was super convenient as well. We were walking distance from our friends beachfront house and beach. And only 5 min drive from grocery store. It was definitely one of the best rental house I hav ever stayed in.

Our stay here was a dream. Spacious luxury and breathtaking views. The beach felt like our own private paradise. With a large family, we all felt like we “got away from it all” and yet also enjoyed making precious memories together. Two large dual master suites were perfect for our extended family. With the activities on the ground floor, we hardly noticed a rainy day. Beautifully decorated, fully stocked, and comfortable accommodations. Exclusive Properties made sure our last minute booking was smooth and every detail covered. Thank you for a perfect Isle of Palms experience!

Port City is the best to rent a moped to spend the day exploring the islands. Friendly staff and easy to reserve, equipment was nice. Support local, these guys are awesome, and we will definitely return.

I sincerely recommend this establishment for renting a daily golf cart. The gentleman running/owning the business is professional and a benefit to the community. My new husband and I happened to walk in fresh on our honeymoon, he rented us a golf cart, handed us a map where to drive it to a PRIVATE, unspoiled beach!! It was so romantic and fun! We will definitely go to him to rent again! Just a side note: one of the golf cart rental places that Google suggested; DOES NOT RENT GOLF CARTS DAILY. Go to Port City and save time, money, and have FUN!

My wife and I rented mopeds this week from Port City. Can't give these guys enough thanks for a great experience. We're very patient in instruction and made us feel comfortable and safe. Mopeds were great, lotta fun! Highly recommend!

Easy, reasonably priced, great quality. We thoroughly enjoyed our electric cart during our vacation in IOP. The cart was waiting for us and charged when we arrived, and was picked up from our AirBnB upon check out. The cart drive great and I will 100% get one again from this company next time I visit. One tip: look into the differences between street legal and not to determine which is right for your stay.

We had a great experience renting a golf cart from Port City. The guys in the shop, Jordan & Will, are super friendly and had great tips on what beaches to visit and sights to see.

Mopeds were absolutely amazing but service was Evan better!! Had some problems learning. They took time out of there day to help us. Some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met!! helped us have an amazing time and make lots of memories!!

Can not say enough nice things about Jordan and this company. We rented a 6 person golf cart. Delivery and pick up made easy, so helpful with where to go, what to do. Answered texts promptly and always kind. We had so much fun! Highly Recommend! Thanks Jordan!

The Hungry Detective and new sidekick had a fabulous experience at my old new favorite Italian spot in Charleston!!! The food: started with the grouper braciole served up super hot in a La Cruset covered mini pot. Main courses….The tile fish is five stars and the plate was clean…”better than sex” Wine: Michael selected a fabulous red from Sicily!!! VERDICT: I usually do not go out on a limb but Coda de Pesce goes above and beyond the call of duty and guilty as sin for doing everything to perfection!!! Note: Sit at the bar….Michael the bartender is a true professional and knows his stuff…great suggestions that were on point!!!

This was a great experience for my wife and I. The restaurant was so cute, and our service was very helpful. She helped select a nice glass of wine to pair with my food, while also walking us through the highlights on the menu. A must visit for anyone looking for good seafood or pasta while on the island.

My wife's birthday was expertly served by Angie. She's extremely knowledgeable and kind. Eric seated us at the window for a beautiful view. The oyster appetizer was innovative and delicious. The swordfish was tender and fresh. We had a memorable time and look forward to our next visit

Coda del Pesce brings fresh, Italian‑seafood flair with dishes like calamari Bolognese, grouper braciole, and wreckfish in a crispy potato crust. Gorgeous ocean view and smart wine pours make it a memorable, elegant dinner.

Never ate, server would not seat us tonight at all. Said they don’t do this today. No walk ins. We asked to sit at the bar and was told NO, we just opened can’t help you. Crappy customer service and poor attitude. My sister in law is handicapped and it took her a good bit to walk up the stairs, once we were turned away, she asked if she could stand for a minute to get some energy to walk down the stairs, the guy flat out said ,I dont care, but you’re not sitting here tonight.

We had high expectations based on reviews and descriptions. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met. Food was good, but not something what you have never tried as described in other reviews. It was also inconsistent. Even bread, when one order was great and another was mediocre. Besides, it was always a feeling that we have to finish as soon as possible since other customers are in line. My "favorite" part was that we were asked to place our order for appetizers and main dishes at the same time since it is "more convenient" for the chief...

Words cannot explain how good the food is here. I have been to many up scale restaurants in my life and this is easily #1 on my list. Chef Ken Vedrinski puts on an absolute experience. Also, the atmosphere is warm, comfortable, and welcoming. We will be back, already planning another date night. Thank you for making our Anniversary a memorable one.

It is a more expensive Marina option but the docks are very secure and well maintained. There are two on-site restaurants and a well stocked provisioning store. We felt the extra expense was worth the four dollars a foot. If you're traveling North, make sure you plan to get here well before low tide. We saw some skinny water between here and Charleston of less than 3' under our hull. There was an electrical issue on the dock during our last night stay here. The marina does not provide any emergency contact numbers to get in touch with someone after hours. We reported the issue to the marina the next morning. Hopefully they will correct this deficiency.

Really cool local marina with fantastic food, souvenirs, fishing tackle, and many other supplies. Get a sandwich and sit on the patio to enjoy the view while you eat. Friendly service and a lot of fun.

An unforgettable experience! Our dolphin tour at Isle of Palms Marina was absolutely magical. From start to finish, the staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt comfortable. The boat was clean and spacious, and the ride itself was smooth with beautiful views of the coastline. The highlight, of course, was the dolphins! 🐬 We saw several up close, swimming and playing alongside the boat — such a breathtaking sight. The guide shared fascinating facts about the local wildlife and ecosystem, which made the trip both fun and educational. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a mix of relaxation, adventure, and natural beauty.

We signed up to take a dolphin tour (family of 5) but got stuck in traffic and were running late. They called to check on us and even waited for us to get there, which I thought was so kind. The staff are great! We loved walking on the island and seeing the wildlife, especially the dolphins. I would recommend this to anyone in the area!

We rented a boat for 7 days to access our vacation home rental on Goat Island (boat access only). Pros: - Beautiful marina. - Friendly, helpful staff. - Delicious food, coffee, ice cream. - Well stocked store. Cons: - Their website advertises free parking, however they charge for parking. $56 (including tax) for day/over night parking (per day/night). - The marina charged my credit card $500 three times (twice in one day), after paying for the week long rental in full. They did refund the charges after a few phone calls. - Rental boats can’t be operated at night (per rental agreement & no lights on boat) which made it difficult to explore/tour evening activities in Charleston as planned.

Good amount of free parking. Good amount of outdoor seating. Can bring your food and drinks outside. Outside entrance to restrooms and multiple trashcans. Beautiful view of boats, waterways and some houses. There were multiple birds showing their antics on how to sneak snacks. Lovely palm trees and a cool wooden sea captain.

Excellent marina, deli, 🎁 gift shop, 🎣 bait shop, 🧺 laundromat, ⛽ gas station, and more all rolled into one. They have a great selection of outdoor wear and gear like YETI products as well. They also have ♿ handicap accessible parking, 🚻 restrooms, and ramps.

Excellent coffee and sandwich and chocolate croissant 🥐 Owner very polite and detail oriented! Highly recommend! We choose to enjoy our breakfast on the beach!

Great coffee and croissants! The café has a cozy atmosphere perfect for enjoying a relaxing morning. The coffee was rich and flavorful, and the croissant was flaky and delicious. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area! Parking might be challenging at peak hours, though, but you'd find a spot! Very friendly and professional staff!

too cute and such a yummy latte (i got the CC!). i also got a cranberry orange muffin which was great! my bf got the cinnabon latte and a croissant sandwhich and he said it was one of the best croissant sandwiches he’s ever had. check this little hidden gem out !! :)

Quaint, fun place we really enjoy for breakfast and lunch. Limited indoor seating and sizeable outdoor seating area in the midst of their herbs, spinach, etc they serve. Watch as they clip some for your sandwich! Delicious croissants to enjoy in breakfast sandwiches and with chicken salad for lunch. They also have very good coffee and specialty coffee drinks. Friendly staff and a neighborhood feel.

The absolute best pastries, breakfast and coffee!! The bacon egg and cheese croissant is 100/10! Also the owner is a super personable, honest and a hard working man! The atmosphere is super friendly and welcoming! I really enjoyed my coffee and breakfast every morning while staying in IOP! I’ll definitely be back for more when I visit again! I wish we had a café Paname in WNC!

Confused by the reviews. Was excited to get the almond croissant and it was 1/4 the size of the chocolate croissant and just okay. I also got an iced coffee and as a former barista it was pretty evident these kids were not properly trained. I watched as my shot of espresso sat for at least 90 seconds while she made another drink, shots should not sit for more than 10-20 seconds for optimal flavor. Kids were very nice behind the counter, just not worth the money or effort. Update to respond to your immaturity. Maybe if you took the constructive criticism the place could be better. Yes I was a barista, and I was a great one but I don’t really need your approval. If it was an almond danish then why did I ask for a croissant and get charged for a croissant, sounds like you need to clarify that with your workers. You’re the one selling iced coffee so that comment doesn’t even make sense. I feel sorry for you and your anger towards the world. Idk if you think your responses are funny, but they are just sad.

Came in today around 1pm with friends, we were immediately greeted kindly and seated. Our server, Sylvie was so kind with us and attentive to all of our needs! Would love to have her again as she was polite and friendly, as well as this other man who’s name I didn’t catch but he was bald! They were both sweet. The food was genuinely a 10/10, well seasoned, fresh seafood, this is honestly the best restaurant Ive had on this whole strip by the beach. The shrimp & lobster mac n cheese was amazing and I will definitely be back for it, the burger was not overcooked and juicy and the tacos are a must try as well. We’re here on vacation so I definitely would stop back in before leaving :)

Stopped in for lunch today while visiting Isle of Palms after someone in our group recommended it from a previous visit. There’s a good amount of seating inside, plus some tables and a small bar area outside. The back patio even has a boardwalk that leads to the beach, and you can catch glimpses of the ocean from there — a nice touch. We chose to sit outside and enjoyed the atmosphere. Our waitress was super friendly and took great care of us, even bringing an umbrella out to our table when we asked. We started with a couple of drinks, which were good, and shared some appetizers: the hush puppies with honey butter and the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese. The hush puppies were delicious, and the honey butter added the perfect sweet touch. Unfortunately, we weren’t fans of the fried green tomatoes — they were cut a bit too thick and didn’t have much flavor, though the pimento cheese was tasty. For mains, the shrimp and lobster mac and cheese was a hit — rich, creamy, and loaded with lobster. The shrimp mango tacos were also a favorite, especially with the flavorful coleslaw. I went with the lobster roll and fries, and it was excellent. The lobster was chilled and topped with a light butter sauce, all in a soft, fresh roll. I’d absolutely order it again. Overall, we had a great experience here and would definitely come back next time we’re in town!

Great atmosphere, fast and friendly service. Tasty dishes with custom made drinks. Our server Eddie S. was on it to keep our drinks flowing and get our meals to us hot and the way we orderd. The outside area extends right out to the beach shore. Drinks and meals can be enjoyed in the outside area or at the out doors bar. Service in both areas keep the party going strong. Thanks to our server and the staff for ensuring we were having a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.

Food is exceptional, as well as customer service & hospitality. The general manager Chris went above and beyond to provide recommendations on food . Try the catfish bites, crab cakes and collared greens. Everything was perfectly seasoned and no salt or pepper needed especially the greens and crab cakes 🥵. Danielle the bartender was also a sweetheart and made great drinks. Will be back again!

The super pleasant atmosphere is ideal for buying food if you want to go to the seafront or be inside the restaurant. It is at least super delicious. I bought two hamburgers for my daughters and they were delicious. I recommend them 100%

Came here despite our hotel recommending another restaurant. SO. glad we did. Khalia was so sweet and helpful. She gave great dinner recommendations and was so fun to interact with. It was a great experience. Outside seating is a big plus. The Key Lime Martini was fantastic. Order the lobster Mac and cheese. Trust me on this.

We had a nice evening but all of our food came at different times. It appeared that our waiter was the only one and was serving both inside and outside. The shrimp was good. The brussel sprouts were good too, unfortunately they were cold.

My family and I dined at High Thyme for dinner last night and everything was amazing! Shout out to Emily and our server, Savanna for being so nice and engaging! We started off with a soft shell crab over grits for our appetizers and wow, what a great choice! It was so fresh and tasted delicious through and through. For our entrees we had the tuna romaine salad, the lamb meatloaf with potatoes, the bone in pork chop with fingerling potatoes and the lasagna. We all loved everything on our plates and each other's plates! This was not our first time here and definitely will not be our last. Thank you High Thyme for a wonderful dinner that brought smiles to all of our faces!

Fab experience - staff was very friendly, food was delicious. Our faves were the scallops and the risotto. So nice to sit out on the porch. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable place for dinner in the area!

The Hungry Detective and Special Agent Deirdre had a great experience at High Thyme after the Radio Bomb show…if I could give 6 stars I would because they always deliver and go above and beyond the call of duty!!! Sit at the bar with Savannah serving up awesome cocktails and five star service…Savannah knows her stuff!! Atmosphere: Super cool locals vibe with some almost famous TV stars. Food: We had the world famous Seared Scallops and Italian Sausage Ditalini…absolutely cooked to perfection and good tasting. VERDICT: Guilty as sin for being next level good…Good food brings good people together.

Every once in a while you “find” a great place that has been right in front of you all along. High Thyme is one of those places! We came in for dinner for the first time recently and were blown away and couldn’t believe it has been an option for us for so many years and we just have been missing out. The food was incredible, portions generous, service friendly and knowledgeable and the wine was very reasonably priced with great selection. We arrived right at 5 and the dining area had plenty of tables available but it appeared as though the bar may have opened up a bit earlier because every stool was already filled. By 5:30 the dining room was also packed (this was a Saturday night in between Christmas and New Year’s for reference). All in all we are thrilled to find another great spot on Sullivan’s and can’t wait to go back. Definitely aspiring regulars.

Great food....really amazing. If you aren't local (we were told 70% were local) you will have a different experience. We love SC and are "visiting locals". Maybe just attitude of our waitress? Will try again!

Everything about our dinner here was excellent. We were able to sit on the porch, and enjoyed the atmosphere while also greatly enjoying our food. The menu selections were varied, and our appetizer, entrees, and dessert were prepared perfectly. And our server, Beth, was really good as well. Will definitely go back again on our next visit to the area.

Fantastic meal from start to finish, great service and welcoming of our 2.5 year old. We got a special shrimp and clam appetizer, I got the lasagna which was fanatic with great flavor of the meat and not to heavy of a dish. My wife got the salmon which she eats a ton of and said it was honestly one of the best salmon dishes she has ever had

Very friendly staff, food came out quickly and was very hot. Only critique I would say is that our pizza was soggy and could have been cooked longer. The bottom was not crisp at all. The Caesar salad was delicious and so was the Baratta.would definitely come back again. Super convenient location as to our room is right upstairs. Kid friendly too.

After waiting an hour to be seated, it took an hour to get raw pizza and frozen shrimp...three blocks from the ocean. Server passed by over 20 times and checked with us twice. Go here only if you have no other option.

My family & I came here to eat the other night and we had an amazing experience. Not only were we all pleased with our meals, the service was amazing. Cash was our server and she never failed to get us what we needed. Our drinks stayed full the entire time, the cocktails were great. Overall a 10/10!! If you plan on coming, make sure you ask for Cash!!

The sign on the door says that the restaurant is open from 4pm - 10pm. We are a party of three staying at Wild Dunes as a part of a conference. We walked in at 8:54pm. The bartender would not serve us. When we referenced the sign on the door, the server/bartender said that they get to choose and they were closing. There were 12 patrons drinking at the bar. They said we could potentially order food to go. This is not only false advertising but also rude to turn paying customers away when there are clearly still patrons at the bar.

A Disappointing Experience Due to Poor Management! Our recent visit to Coastal Crust Wild Dunes was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. It's a shame, because you could clearly see the staff was trying their absolute best, but they were completely let down by what appears to be a serious management problem. The restaurant was woefully understaffed, and the team on the floor was visibly overwhelmed. The server, who was running ragged, apologized multiple times for the long wait for our drinks and food. It was obvious they were in the weeds and doing everything they could to keep up, but it was an impossible task. The blame here isn't on the employees—it's on the management that put them in this impossible situation. They need more support, more training, and frankly, more people on the schedule. Until Coastal Crust Wild Dunes gets its management act together and provides its hard-working team with the resources they need, I can't recommend it. It's a disservice to both the customers and the dedicated staff who are doing the best they can under terrible circumstances.

I had high hopes for Coastal Crush Pizza, being a homeowner within walking distance, but unfortunately, each visit has been a disappointment. The service was subpar, and the pizza was downright awful. It was greasy and undercooked, to the point where it flopped when you tried to pick it up, causing all the toppings to fall off. The Caesar salad was small, overpriced, and lacked flavor. After multiple attempts to give this place a fair shot, I’ve decided I won’t be returning. For pizza, I’d much rather go with IOP Pizza or even Domino’s for delivery. Coastal Crush simply isn’t worth it.

Decent pizza. The service was pretty slow and nobody seemed to especially like their job. The whole vibe didn’t feel like we were at a resort. I really enjoyed the crust. Burrata app was good and fresh. The meatballs were flavorful, but tough. I like the convenience of being able to eat within the resort, but next time would just drive into IOP for dinner.
