Caru' cu Bere is a renowned Romanian restaurant known for its impressive architecture, featuring wood paneling, stained-glass windows, and a charming patio. It is considered one of Bucharest's oldest restaurants and boasts a stunning interior adorned with frescoes, stained glass, and vaulted ceilings. The establishment has historical significance as it was opened in the late 19th century by Nicolae Mircea after being inspired by Bavarian beer houses during his apprenticeship in Bucharest.
It’s a really beautiful place. Going in, the first thing you’ll see is the big church stained glass. It’s beautiful how it keeps the essence of a church but it’s better now that you can have fun. The food was great, dishes looks delicious and taste really good. Our waiter was really kind. And it’s wonderful to suddenly see a dance show. Applause! It’s a little bit expensive, but I think it’s worth it.
Antonio P — Google review
We were genuinely prepared for a tourist trap, and we were completely wrong—Caru' cu bere is a masterpiece and an absolute must-visit for anyone in Bucharest. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is sublime. The elegant Gothic interior design and ornate woodwork create a historical, almost cathedral-like feel. We were lucky enough to experience the unexpected live dance performance with traditional Romanian outfits, which was the perfect, authentic cultural touch to the evening. Booking is essential! We highly recommend requesting a table on the balcony view; there are only a few tables up there, giving you a quiet, almost VIP experience away from the main hall's bustle. The Food: We ordered the signature dish: Ciorbă de fasole cu afumătură în pită (Bean soup with smoked pork served in a giant bread bowl). It was phenomenal—hearty, authentic, and easily the best thing we could have ordered. Tip: I also tried the 0% Ursu Romanian beer, which is light and refreshing, similar to a shandy. Final Verdict: Do not skip this restaurant. It offers great food, a truly spectacular setting, and the potential for spontaneous live music and dancing. It’s an experience, not just a meal.
Dazneyland — Google review
We had a great time at this restaurant. The place was unique and there was a band inside playing classical music. Our server, Bogdan, was really attentive and friendly. There is a variety of food and drink selection. We tried the pork knuckles and the fisherman's tale and both were very delicious. I highly recommend the pavlova. Overall, would highly recommend the place if you want an introduction to the Romanian food and delicacies.
Anna T — Google review
Thought this place would be a tourist trap, but absolutely worth the hype! The Skinless Sausage, the Trout and the Donuts were absolutely killer. The trout was the absolute best fish dish I’ve ever had, and we loved it so much that we went back the next day as the last meal before we departed Bucharest. Definitely worth the wait (highly recommend to make a reservation) and must visit!
Priyanka R — Google review
One of best decorated restaurants in the world, it’s impressive. They dance and play a show while you are seated, it’s a very special place and deserve a visit. However, the food is just ok. I ordered a big big big veal knuckle and it is just ok, a bit dry. The dessert pavlova is creamy and nice flavour.
Javier M — Google review
A wonderful piece of history with rich, beautiful interiors, but unfortunately very noisy. The food feels more like cafeteria quality — not at the level one would expect from a restaurant of this reputation. A disappointing contrast to the impressive building itself. P.S.We've been to small restaurants where the food and service are top-notch.
Julia B — Google review
Famous among tourist but worth it! We didn’t get the chance to book while they had a show but the atmosphere was absolutely amazing. Romanian experience which is a must try. Food was really good as well as the beer! Make sure to order the dessert!
Zeina Z — Google review
We came for lunch and it was amazing! We waited a bit longer but that’s reasonable because restaurant was full and we didn’t have a reservation. The decor is very special and different. Our waiter was Marius C. and he was very professional and provided us the best service. We ate the local specality and asked to make it gluten free, well, to look out a bit more for the gluten and there was no problem, thanks to Marius and the chefs! Definitely a great place to visit, by all means!

Cismigiu Gardens is a serene and picturesque English-style park in Bucharest, offering a peaceful retreat with its tree-filled landscapes, a charming lake, and a delightful rose garden. It's one of the city's must-visit attractions alongside iconic landmarks like the Palace of Parliament and the Dimitrie Gusti National Village Museum. The park provides an ideal setting for leisurely strolls along its winding paths, scenic ponds, and numerous seating areas.
Really nice park. Went there a few times on my holiday. The pedalo was very reasonably priced at 10 lei (£1.70) for 30 mins. There was also a nice ice-cream/drinks cafe next to the pedalo office where we enjoyed some drinks overlooking the lake.

This is a lovely park! Lots of shaded paths and benches. There’s a charming little waterfall with a little pond in the middle where you can rent paddle and row boats. There’s an epic playground for kids. There are a number of places where you can stop for a coffee, some food and snacks (including ice cream). Great spot to kill some time on a hot day.

Very nice garden. There are many benches, beautiful flowers around, nice lake and some restaurants/cafes. You can also rent a boat for nice time in the lake.

Grădina Cișmigiu is a great location, right next to City Hall and perfect for a one-on-one conversation or a walking meeting. It's a wonderful place to work while enjoying Urban Nature. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the lake and old trees make the park special. The only downside is that you'll find bird droppings on the park benches, but that's part of the charm of all living city parks worldwide. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a break (even from the office)!

Good park. Pretty big, many benches. Has places for kids to play, has quiet places to read book or meditate. Has places to have a drink or snack. Free toilets area available, not the best quality, but better than nothing. Long Lake.

Nestled in the heart of Bucharest's Old Town, Cărturești Carusel is a breathtaking bookstore that has been meticulously renovated to create a stunning literary haven. The six-story building boasts a bright and airy interior, with balconies overlooking a soaring atrium. Visitors can explore tens of thousands of titles and find cozy nooks to immerse themselves in books. Additionally, the top floor houses a bistro for those seeking sustenance for both body and mind.
Visiting Cărturești in Bucharest is an absolute must-do, even if you're not a bookworm. Stepping inside the Cărturești Carusel location in the Old Town is a truly magical experience. The moment you walk through the door, you're immediately struck by the stunning, almost ethereal architecture. The space is a brilliant white, with sweeping, curving staircases that seem to float as they spiral up through the central atrium. It's a breathtaking, multi-story space with delicate columns reaching toward the glass roof and books lining the walls up to the very top. It's so much more than just a bookstore. Beyond the huge selection of books, which includes a great number of English titles, each floor feels like a new discovery. There are sections dedicated to all sorts of unique and creative goods, from beautifully designed stationery and quirky notebooks to designer pens, unique games, and an amazing array of local products. You can also find a fantastic selection of music and local wines. On the top floor, there’s a lovely cafe where you can grab a coffee or a drink, sit down, and just soak in the incredible view of the bustling streets below, a stark contrast to the quiet calm inside. It truly feels like a cultural haven, an amazing escape from the busy and loud streets outside. It's a place to get lost for a while, to simply wander and appreciate the beauty of the space. Cărturești is absolutely worth a visit just to experience the stunning atmosphere, and it's the perfect spot to find a unique souvenir or simply to enjoy a moment of inspiring calm. Also I wanted to exchange something without my receipt and they were so kind to allow for it.

Cool space. Solid offering of books, gifts and games. Discounted goods section on the ground floor by the elevator. Good kids section including a reading corner. Cafe and toilets on top floor.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cărturești Carusel is one of the most beautiful bookstores I’ve ever visited! The architecture is simply stunning — bright, elegant, and full of charm. Every floor offers a unique atmosphere, combining books, art, and culture in a magical way. It’s not just a bookstore, but a true cultural experience in the heart of Bucharest. The café upstairs is a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the view of this magnificent space. A must-visit place for book lovers and anyone who appreciates beauty and creativity! 📚✨☕️

Great place to visit. Cărturești Carusel is a well-known bookstore in Bucharest, part of the Cărturești bookstore chain. Located on Lipscani Street in the old city center, it is renowned for its spectacular architecture, housed in a historic multi-story building. Offering a wide selection of books, stationery, gifts, and teas, the bookstore is a popular place for cultural gatherings and relaxation. You can buy here books, and many souvenirs and even have coffee upstairs

Cărturești Carusel is a wonderful must-see bookstore — and more than just books! It’s a great space to relax and read, with a beautiful café on the top floor. The design and architecture are stunning, making it very photogenic. There’s also a wide variety of books and other items, perfect for souvenirs or gifts. 😊

A magical place and one of the most beautiful bookstores I have ever seen. Cărturești Carusel, right in the heart of Bucharest’s Old Town, feels like stepping inside a bright, elegant carousel of books—its white balconies, spiral staircases, and open central atrium create a stunning visual effect. The atmosphere is calm, artistic, and incredibly photogenic. You can walk through the different floors, browse books, enjoy design objects, and discover local authors. At the top there’s also a lovely café where you can sit and admire the view of the whole interior. A bit of history: The building dates back to the 19th century, when it belonged to the famous Chrissoveloni family, one of Romania’s great banking dynasties. After years of neglect during the communist period, it was beautifully restored and reopened as Cărturești Carusel in 2015, quickly becoming a cultural icon of Bucharest. It’s not just a bookstore—it’s a place where architecture, literature, and light blend together perfectly. Absolutely worth visiting, even if just to enjoy the atmosphere. A must-see in Bucharest.
Patrizia P — Google review
It’s a nice library, although I wouldn’t say the most beautiful in the world like people describe it to be. The staff are attentive and there’s a cafe in the top floor, it’s a little expensive for average Bucharest prices, but I guess it compensates because you can sit and read a book while having coffee. The WiFi password is librarie

Shopping mall
Unirea Shopping Center is a prominent mall in Bucharest, located at Piata Unirii and easily accessible by public transportation. It underwent significant renovations in recent years and offers a wide array of shopping options, including clothing stores, shoe stores, and a supermarket for daily needs. The mall also features popular dining options like McDonald's.
A Shopping center in Bucharest very central location. But most of the shops are closed. I dont know the reason. I think the prices are bit lower than other malls in Bucharest as I saw a clear difference with what I bought from there. Downstairs or in ground floor there are couple of shops where you can buy wrist watches. Outside the mall there are small shops and KFC, Mcdonald and also you can buy food items from Carrefour supermarket.
Muthuraja N — Google review
This shopping center used to be amazing, but unfortunately it's now mostly empty. Many stores are closed, and the atmosphere feels quite deserted. It’s a shame, as it’s located in central Bucharest and clearly has potential. Hopefully it will be revitalized in the future
Misha S — Google review
Mall in the center of a capital city, are you kidding? Only 1 main entrance and not clearly visible, no sound or any sense inside. The bathrooms are in a liminal space area, mostly empty space inside the mall overall.
Syn S — Google review
Unirea Shopping Center has a nostalgic feel, blending older architecture with a wide range of stores. Some areas look dated, but it’s still practical for finding essentials and exploring local fashion options.
Jenifer T — Google review
Why would you call that a Mall? It's got 4 floors and on every floor there is like only one shop open - all the others are closed. To be honest: this place is a mess... Don't go there - it's not worth it.
Stefan H — Google review
Not a Shopping Center Anymore: Mostly Empty – Avoid! If you're heading to the city center looking for shops, save yourself the trip and avoid this location entirely. What was once a vibrant shopping center is now, for the most part, completely empty. I was shocked to find that the majority of the retail spaces are vacant. It's a ghost town compared to what it used to be. There are virtually no shops left, making it pointless to visit if your aim is to browse or buy anything. Unless you're looking for an empty building to walk through, there's absolutely no reason to come here. It's truly a shame to see such a central location so desolate. Don't waste your time; it's no longer a shopping destination.
Tim S — Google review
I think it once was a great shopping center, but now it's almost empty. There is a big mcdonalds at the entrance. It has multiple floors but most of them have just a few shops.
Philip — Google review
Does not have any shops, pretty deserted except for Sephora, Douglas and a few others. The other shops in the first floor are either unnecessary highly priced or have rude staff, I would recommend to stay away if you are looking for a nice mall in Bucharest.

Obor Market is a bustling marketplace located in Communist Bucharest, offering a wide variety of goods and services. As you stroll through the indoor and outdoor clusters of stalls, you'll find everything from produce and handicrafts to clothing and baked goods. This market is renowned as the largest peasant market in Bucharest, providing an array of items that showcase Romanian culture.
A must visit when in Bucharest. A central market where you will find tasty food and fresh fruit, vegetables and meat. Many locals shop here. Not sure what to eat, look for the places with long lineups. The place is huge with the top floor selling meat, cheese and deli meat. Once you’ve finished, go across the street to veranda Mall.
Melanie E — Google review
I visited Obor Market out of curiosity, but I didn’t end up buying anything. The place felt quite unclean, and the smell in some areas was really unpleasant. It might have good deals, but the overall hygiene and atmosphere need serious improvement.
Fredy K — Google review
Absolutely incredible market! Has all sorts. The outdoor area had fishing tackle and equipment, vegetable plants and trees and household items. There were some eateries as well which served traditional local food. The indoor section had nuts and seeds, berries, wild herbs and foraged plants, vegetables etc. There was a fresh milk booth serving fresh milk into bottles through a machine operated by a woman. It was busy. There were different types of yoghurts and preserves. There were also some stalls outside that sold locally produced wine in one litre bottles. Upstairs had boutique stuff and there was a row of butchers. We also found a cash machine there which was extremely useful as the local produce downstairs can only be paid by cash. We came across an Ayran machine where you picked a one litre empty bottle and filled it with freshly churned Ayran which was delicious. We sampled some local food outside and it was delicious. Definitely recommended!

Gyro restaurant
Gyros Thessalonikis is a popular spot in the Old Town, offering a truly Greek atmosphere with loud Greek music playing in the background. The staff is known for their fast and friendly service, and they speak English. The food is highly recommended, especially the mixed gyros. Visitors have described the location as resembling a tavern in Greece, with a vibe that transports you to a seaside setting after a day at the beach.
This is a fantastic place located in the old part of town. I’ve had the lamb, the halloumi, the chicken, and several other dishes. All are fantastic. The staff can be a little cold, but the food is worth it. Also, the platters are shareable because they’re so big.

This was my first gyros ever. It was unexpectedly good and very delicious. I actually liked it more than kebabs I ate before. I recommend to visit this place for a quick meal in Old Town, it definitely worth the price!

Excellent food! Great atmosphere and the Greek ambiance is very nice. Very popular with people in the old town. Quick easy and simple ordering, food is made quickly on the spot with indoor and outdoor seating options. Simply and fresh food, everything tastes great. The fries are always fresh and crunchy and you get plenty of tzatziki and I believe sour cream. Highly recommend especially after parting and it’s open very late which is a plus. Price is pretty high around 14 euros for a platter but it’s in a central location. I had the chicken gyro as well which was nice. Very authentic food here.
Hak B — Google review
Gyros Thessalonikis in Bucharest’s Old Town is a lively and casual Greek eatery that perfectly captures the laid-back atmosphere of its namesake city. With its bright blue chairs, white tables, and the scent of grilled meat drifting through the cobblestoned street, it feels like a small slice of Thessaloniki tucked into the heart of Bucharest. The location could hardly be better—right in the middle of the Old Town, surrounded by bars, cafés, and pedestrian buzz, yet just calm enough to sit down for an unhurried meal in the afternoon sun. The service is fast and uncomplicated—order, sit down, and within minutes your gyros is served warm and overflowing. The portions are generous, and the pita is nicely toasted, soft but sturdy enough to hold together the combination of juicy meat, creamy tzatziki, and a handful of crisp fries tucked inside. It’s a classic Greek street-food experience, simple but satisfying. The pork gyros in particular stood out for its smoky flavor and tenderness, while the fries added that extra comfort factor. The outdoor seating area, framed by vines and blue awnings, is perfect for people-watching and soaking in the afternoon light. The interior has a no-frills charm—clean, functional, and filled with the sound of sizzling grills and Greek pop in the background. Prices are reasonable for the area, making it an excellent choice for a quick, tasty meal without the formality of a restaurant. Overall, Gyros Thessalonikis delivers exactly what it promises: authentic Greek street food, generous portions, and a lively Old Town setting. It’s not fancy, but it doesn’t need to be—come for the flavor, the sunshine, and the easygoing vibe that makes you feel like you’ve wandered off a side street in Greece rather than the middle of Bucharest.
Navid G — Google review
Authentic Greek food. I went to dinner with my wife. We ordered two appetizers and a main course to share, which was a good idea, as the dishes are generously served. The quality of the food was excellent, and the service couldn't have been more pleasant. They have a Greek white wine that's a must-try.
Mizo K — Google review
The pitas were quite large and genuinely tasty, but definitely overpriced for what they are. At one point, I felt like there was more pita in my tzatziki than actual tzatziki — maybe ease up a bit on that. The pork was delicious, but the lamb had a very strong, unpleasant smell — it felt closer to something you’d find in a low-quality döner shop. I wouldn’t recommend the lamb or the beef; stick to pork or chicken, they do those much better. Also, when you present yourself as a Greek restaurant, it would be great to see some of the warm Greek hospitality reflected in the service — or at least some Greek staff. Adding even one waiter would elevate the whole experience considerably. The self-service approach takes away from the atmosphere and value of the place.
Michalis K — Google review
The food is bad the service is miserable and the toilets are from a horror movie. How can someone expect a sanitary restaurant with such bathrooms ?
Andrei S — Google review
Been here on three separate occasions across a six day trip, I think that tells a lot about the food here. Chicken gyro is simply spectacular! Service is great too, no notes. Had a gyro in (probably) less than 5 minutes. The first time we came here there was some live music (which was what actually drew us here) which was quite nice ☺️

McDonald's Unirea is a classic, bustling fast-food spot known for its burgers and fries. Despite being busy on weekends, the restaurant maintains a relatively clean atmosphere. The staff receives praise for their friendliness and service, although there were some issues with order displays and language barriers. The outdoor atmosphere with illuminated fountains adds to the energetic vibe of this location.
One job, great presentation. Cleanliness is a tad on the funky side. I'm not sure how soda splashes this high, but it's exciting to know someone made it possible. Drips stylish as the graffiti outside.

A great sized McDonald's. Holiday tradition that I believe many people have is to go to a McDonald's in every country you visit. Fries, burgers and ice creams were great, chicken nuggets were not good they seemed more breaded than battered but that's the only negative.
Rebecca H — Google review
AWFUL ! We waited more than 30min for only 2 menus and it came as cold as ice ! The manager didn’t even care and mixed every orders (she confirmed the orders way before delivering them to have good statistics). The lobby was disgusting, all tables were nearly full of rubbish. We had to find one and clean it by ourselves. Moreover, the security guard was extremely rude towards customers and all time on his phone.
Diane — Google review
One of the worst McDonald's experiences I've ever had (Completely Disorganized) I am writing this review with deep frustration after a terrible experience at this McDonald's. As a solo female traveler who has been traveling the world for over 10 years, I can confidently say this is one of the most disorganized and poorly managed establishments I have ever encountered. The core of the problem is a complete lack of communication and logic in their "Table Service" system. The self-order kiosks explicitly ask if you want Table Service. I ordered a simple coffee and selected "Yes," assuming, logically, that my order would be brought to my table. I waited for a long time, but my coffee never arrived. When I went to complain, the staff told me they "don't do Table Service for just a coffee." This is an unacceptable and illogical policy. If Table Service is not available for certain items, the kiosk MUST NOT offer it as an option. This is a system failure that misleads customers and wastes their time. Instead of apologizing and solving the problem, the employee became confrontational and raised his voice at me. His "solution" was to tell me to go to the other side of the large, crowded restaurant (where the breakfast section was) to pick up my coffee myself. As a solo traveler with luggage, a backpack, and a laptop, leaving all my belongings unattended in a busy tourist-area restaurant is not an option. It's an immense security risk. A simple, customer-oriented solution would have been for the staff to say, "I'm sorry for the confusion, please take a seat and I'll bring your coffee to you." But instead, I was met with indifference and confrontation.
SOLAENBICI C — Google review
The service was terrible. I ordered at the restaurant and waited 25 minutes. Until I asked passing employees, my order wasn't presented. When it finally arrived, the fries were barely warm, the napkins were crumpled and thrown on the tray. Incredibly bad service for McDonald's.

We were expecting Mcdonald’s to be more clean. Restrooms are dirty and drinks were spilled on the floor. Among other things we ordered fries dips. The portion was tiny compared to other countries. Idk what happened

McDonald’s here is… fine, but definitely not the fast experience you usually expect from the brand. The taste is the same — reliable, familiar, and overall good. But the service is noticeably slow. If you’re used to quick orders at McDonald’s, this location might surprise you. The long waiting time seems to be due to a constant flow of people, and the staff just can’t keep up. It’s not terrible, but it’s far from efficient. Good food, very long wait — so don’t come here if you’re in a hurry.

Brasserie
Grand Café Van Gogh is a classic and art-filled venue located in Old Town Bucharest, Romania. It offers a diverse menu featuring brunch staples, global dishes, coffee, and wine. The café is known for its extensive drink menu which includes healthy fruit juices like the 'liver cleanse' juice. While it's not the most budget-friendly option, it's popular among backpackers and stag parties passing through Bucharest.
A gorgeous spot in the Old Town of Bucharest! Although I am a local, I only recently discovered it. 🤩 It’s more than just a restaurant—it feels like a small art gallery, spread over two floors with multiple rooms. The walls are filled with framed paintings, reproductions of famous works, colorful umbrellas, and creative ceiling decorations that make the place truly unique. ✨ The atmosphere draws you in and makes you feel immersed in art and color. I highly recommend it to everyone. Many thanks to the staff for making the experience so beautiful!🙏

Great Atmosphere, but a Bit Pricey. I recently visited the Van Gogh Cafe and was very impressed with the overall atmosphere. The place is decorated with beautiful reproductions of Van Gogh's paintings, creating a unique and artistic environment. It's a great spot to relax and enjoy the ambiance, especially if you're a fan of his work. The atmosphere is definitely the highlight. The soft lighting and the famous art pieces make for a very pleasant and aesthetic experience. It's a fantastic place to meet up with friends or to simply unwind with a good book. As for the food, the quality was good, but the prices were on the higher side. We ordered 1 set of french toast but the waiter brought 2 and we didn't have the heart to return it. While I enjoyed what I ordered, I felt that the cost was a bit expensive for what was offered. The selection was decent, and the flavors were solid, but it's not the place to go if you're looking for a budget-friendly meal. Overall, I would recommend the Van Gogh Cafe for its excellent atmosphere and quality food. Just be prepared to pay a little extra for the unique experience.

From the moment I stepped inside Grand Café Van Gogh, I was enchanted. The café’s décor is nothing short of art — every corner tells a story, with Van Gogh-inspired paintings, vibrant blue and yellow accents, and fresh flowers gracing each table. The atmosphere feels warm, bright, and beautifully curated. I ordered the omelette and the pancakes. The omelette was perfectly cooked — fluffy, flavorful, and satisfying. The pancakes, however, were the highlight: topped with fresh strawberries and a cloud of whipped cream, they were simply amazing. The sweetness was balanced, and the strawberries tasted fresh and juicy. As for the service — the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. They treated every guest with care, and their warm smiles added to the overall experience. Whether you’re a traveler or local, I would absolutely recommend stopping by Grand Café Van Gogh if you’re in Romania (especially Bucharest). I know I’ll return myself.

As good as the photos online show. Each room filled with Van Gogh pictures you can view as you eat delicious food. We tried both the French Toast and the pancakes and both delicious. We arrived at 12 on a Friday and had no wait to get a seat inside. (In November). Friendly staff and fast service. Once you've eaten free to have a wander and see the other rooms. Definitely a nice place with a good vibe and something different.

We heard about this place and decided to go. We just had hot chocolate - which was the best hot chocolate I've had in years! We also had a starter called sweet corn nuggets. It was very good. My husband had a traditional Romanian dessert called Coliva. We liked everything we ordered. The atmosphere is nice with plenty of Van Gough's artwork to admire as you sit there. Great vibe.

A very nice place for breakfast. Interesting interior with Van Gogh paintings. It’s a good idea to make a reservation. There are outdoor tables and indoor ones spread across different rooms. The tables for two are a bit cramped together, and you can hear other people’s conversations, which I didn’t like. The service is fast, and the waiters are kind. They help with taking photos and are always smiling. The food isn’t anything special, but it’s decent. The prices are high, but it’s clear that this is because of the paintings.

I loved the concept of this café since I'm a Van Gogh admirer. The staff was very attentive, they showed me all rooms so I could decide where I wanted to sit. I didn't have to wait that much for my order and it was delicious! This place is definitely worth a visit!

Such a cute little café in Bucharest with a very good selection of breakfast meals. We got a table without reservation, but could be good to reserve in advance. Very good coffee! Service is good prices ok!

Nomad Skybar is a trendy rooftop venue located in Bucharest's Old Town. The bar features a unique glass roof that allows guests to enjoy the beautiful sky above, especially on sunny days. In addition to offering a great selection of drinks and beverages, Nomad Skybar also serves outstanding global fare and sharing plates. The venue hosts various events including live music and DJ performances, providing entertainment for visitors.
Food was amazing. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Went for Dinner and the DJ was starting to set up the Night for a great party. Unfortunately for us we had a very early start or would have stayed longer!

Went to this lovely rooftop whilst on a girls trip. Lovely decor and vibe with the DJ. The food was delicious mini burger and chips! Cocktails were yummy and the barman made a French martini for my friend even though it wasn't on the menu! Sign of a good barman. The service was sometimes slow but it was a Saturday. I definitely recommend booking. Passion fruit mojito also very delicious. Very reasonably priced would pay twice as much in London.

Located in the heart of Bucharest, Nomad Skybar offers a fantastic setting with its modern and stylish design, making it a great spot to enjoy both day and night. DJ performances take the entertainment to the next level. With a rich menu ranging from creative cocktails to international cuisine, Nomad Skybar is highly recommended for those seeking both flavor and atmosphere.

Our waitress, Betty looked after us so well. Lovely rooftop restaurant with great atmosphere. Food was amazing - the duck was exceptional and I highly recommend the dessert sharing platter. We had a really lovely night. Highly recommend!

Visited Nomad during a recent two night stay in Bucharest, on the recommendation of our hotel concierge. I'm so glad we made the time to visit this beautiful, rooftop bar and restaurant. It feels a little strange walking down a busy street to enter via a small lift door but when you get to the top, it is definitely worth it. The staff were attentive and helpful, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was busy yet relaxed. There was a DJ playing a very chilled set that wasn't too loud for us oldies on a Sunday night. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful with a spacious outside area, gorgeously decorated inside restaurant and bar and the most amazing toilet doors I have ever seen 🤩 If you're visiting Bucharest I would highly recommend putting this place on your 'Must Visit' list.

Lovely bar with a vibrant atmosphere. Enjoyed a couple of interesting cocktails - a smoky whiskey and a grapefruit gin cocktail. On the more expensive side for the area, but still reasonable (particularly compared to the UK!).
Lesley W — Google review
Food and drinks were tasty. Prices are great for Bucharest. Unfortunately the staff let us wait so long, just to ask for the bill. Then another waiting time just to collect the money. They were running around this place but not noticing anybody. It was also really loud so not easy to understand each other.
