Zoo
Zoos & Aquariums
The Minnesota Zoo, located in Apple Valley, is a 485-acre preserve showcasing a wide variety of local and global animals, from Russian grizzly bears to butterflies. With nearly 100 different animals on-site, visitors can explore the diverse habitats and enjoy the company of many exotic creatures. The zoo offers several trails that allow guests to experience different seasonal environments in the wild.
Ranks in the top 5 of all the zoos we have visited. Love that the layout of the zoo is more spread out than almost all others. Seems to provide plenty of space for the animals. Enclosures aren't packed on top of each other. Good selection of food in the food court. Would definitely come back again.

It's a pretty good zoo. Decent variety of animals. Some really fun exhibits. The carousel was a big hit with my kids. A lot of variety of animals to pick on it. No lines for anything. The Treetop Trail was interesting... A fun idea to be above the zoo and animals. But it would have been a lot of fun if it was like a train that high to see everything. B/c it was hot and sunny up there. The splash pad area was fun. Recommend the bird show. It was really fun.
Matt B — Google review
Where do I even start. This zoo is home to some of my fondest childhood memories. It’s a great place to wander around & learn about the animals we share this beautiful Earth with. Just learned from 1 of their maintenance guys that it’s in the Top 5 biggest zoos in the US. You will definitely get your steps in. Wear comfy shoes, eat beforehand, & dedicate a good 3-4 hours to exploration. Have a ball.
Isaiah W — Google review
Great zoo experience today despite some construction near the south entrance. Apparently they're rebuilding the snow monkey enclosure. Some of my favorite animals were fairly active, and that, along with an overcast sky, made for some good photography. I attached some of my favorites to this review. If I could I'd deduct a half star for a poor online experience. I feel like the process of purchasing tickets could be much smoother.
Greg Z — Google review
First time visiting the zoo and we pretty much covered the entire surface that was not being renovated. First of all, I must say that most animals looked very healthy. The only exceptions would be maybe the bigger cats and the Penguins. They looked a little restless. But otherwise the animals were very lively. We started of with visiting the sea lion show which was a nice little example of how smart those animals are. We later moved into the food court to have lunch. They selection was not massive, but we ordered a candied bacon club sandwich and cheese curds which we split, a little expensive as expected since it's a zoo, but surprisingly not that bad. Felt clean and the club was especially refreshing this day. We later took the tree top trail. This is a short walk (1.5 miles) and a nice overview of the park. But you don't get to see everything. The ground floor has more information, viewing windows and interesting caves to explore. I enjoyed both, but the vibes I got was that more experienced people who are there just for the vibes and a good walk with fresh air take the tree top trail. The kids enjoy it, but mostly for the height. The people who really want the close-up with the animals take the ground level trail. We also took a walk in the tropical trail, which was a bit lacking at that time since we didn't get to see our favorite komodo dragon. But we managed to see some unique birds and tree animals. The Minnesota trail was probably my favorite. It was a narrow little cave path with local animals from the area and my personal favorite was the wolverines. They were so p playful and active. I stood and watched them for a good while before moving on. Overall a nice zoo and a good time. The only improvement I would recommend is to have a sign that properly displays the status of the exhibit. For example, there were times when we were just staring into an empty exhibit for a while. The wolves were retired and was being replaced with younger wolves as well, but that we only found out when we assembled upon a pleasant volunteer on the way out. Could even be information in the app!

My family loves this zoo! We come here often and there are always new things to explore. They do a great job of keeping it fun and interactive for all ages. We especially love the outdoors trails and the tree top trail. There are indoor and outdoor experiences making it perfect year round. There are food options (including a few gluten free), multiple playgrounds and lots of shows to catch. We even love the adults only evenings. Staff and volunteers are always helpful and friendly, I have never had a bad experience here. I even lost a mitten here one time and their lost and found system is very organized!
Michelle A — Google review
We were in Minnesota for my daughter's wedding. The zoo seemed like a great way to spend a day. Of course, October is the "off season". Undeterred we went. There was some construction going on. The exhibits were really cool. I'm certain summer visits would be more crowded, but better overall.

A magical experience for all ages! 🐾🌿 Minnesota Zoo is truly one of the best places to spend the day, whether you’re with family, friends, or just exploring on your own. The variety of animals is incredible — from majestic tigers 🐅 and playful bears 🐻 to exotic birds 🦜 and underwater wonders 🐠. What I loved most was how spacious, clean, and well-designed the zoo is. Every section feels like its own little world — the Tropics Trail, the Northern Trail, the Discovery Bay… each one tells a story and brings you closer to nature. 🌍❤️ The staff were friendly and passionate, always happy to answer questions and help. The animals looked well cared for, and the environment felt safe, educational, and fun for everyone. Perfect for a full-day adventure, with plenty of rest areas, food stands, and kid-friendly activities. Don’t miss the farm section — it’s a favorite! 🐐👧 Definitely a place I’ll return to — and highly recommend for anyone visiting Minnesota! 🎟️🦓

The Family Aquatic Center is a popular outdoor water park in Apple Valley, perfect for families looking to cool off and have fun. The park features a lazy river, pool, body slides, tube slides, and a sprayground for younger children. With amenities like free WiFi and concessions available, it's an ideal spot for a day of aquatic enjoyment. The zero-foot entry pool can accommodate over 1,000 visitors and offers top-notch waterslides as well as lazy rivers for tubing.
Great place to cool off in summer. You can bring a life jacket that just needs to be a coast guard safe. The splash pad was great for little ones ! My 7 month old loved the lazy river
Angela R — Google review
I recently visited Splash Valley Waterpark in Minneapolis, and overall, it was a fantastic experience that deserves a solid four-star rating. The standout features were definitely the slides for kids and the lazy river pool for adults. The slides were exciting, safe, and kept the kids entertained for hours. The lazy river was the perfect spot for adults to relax and unwind, offering a peaceful float with just the right current to keep it enjoyable.
Shirish K — Google review
Just went here recently with my 2 toddlers and was impressed with the new updated facilities and everything the water park had to offer. They were recently upgraded and renamed to "Splash Valley Water Park" and the upgrades look amazing. There's a huge splash pad area, kids slide & water table, zero depth wading pools, and a lazy river. This is in addition to the 6 adult slides that they already have - a couple of them use tubes. The park is huge and you can easily spend several hours here. We spent 3 hours and that was plenty of time, though I probably could have spent more if I didn't have my kids with me! The downside was the cost - $14 a person for anyone 2 and above. It's very pricey for a family of 4. But I do feel like it was worth it for the amount of fun we had. There are hourly 5 min breaks from the pool - I'm not sure why, maybe a safety check? They also don't allow phones anywhere near the water even if you have a waterproof case. I was surprised because other pools do allow it. Another thing that I didn't like was that a lifeguard yelled to put my lazy river tube on the other far end of the tube storage area - and then she walked towards that area. I had to get my toddler who can't swim from my husband and I'm also heavily pregnant so I couldn't move the tube right away. Would have been nice to get some help instead if she was already walking that way. Despite this I had an overall good experience and plan to visit again in the future.

For the price, it was perfect! We are in the area to visit family and thought this would be a nice treat for my niece and I. We had a lot of fun, and she didn't want to leave! FYI, bring a lock to for the lockers, I was lucky we happen to keep one in our vehicle.
Christy W — Google review
We enjoyed that the big kids had fun things to do while the little kids were also entertained by the slides and lazy river. The splash pad was shaded all around clean and accommodating
S F — Google review
We had a great afternoon here - something for every age group with large water slides, a shallow wading area, a splash pad and lazy river. We had an especially good experience with the friendly front desk worker Wednesday afternoon 8-13. Staff was friendly and attentive overall. We’ll be back!
Shannon M — Google review
Amazing staff! My little was just tall enough to go on the big slide. The life guards waited at the bottom for her every time with their floaty and helped her get to the stairs safely. Truly appreciate their patience and helped to make the day special

Always a very busy place but my family loves it. You can bring coolers with food and non alcoholic beverages into the facility which is awesome. We love the place and go there once a year because it does get spendy when your a big family

This is what a pizza place should be like. Super clean. 3 guys in there cutting and boxing and making pizzas. Super fast service. See the pizzas coming out piping hot. Guys are super nice. Thanked me for the business. This reminded me of what a pizza place is supposed to be. Don't forget to tip carry out !

Pizza is good most of the time Today they messed up my order What pissed me off the most is that They tried saying that I’m lying They said on their end they got PINEAPPLE/PEPPERONI YEP WE GOT GOT PINEAPPLE/PEPPERONI I GOT THE RECEIPT THEY SENT ME A RECEIPT IT CLEARLY DONEST SAY PINEAPPLE THEY WANT ME TO DRIVE OVER THERE WITH A RECEIPT TO PROVE TO THEM… Nah they made me feel like I’m lying COME ON!!!!

I have just collected pizzas that smell fantastic. I cannot wait to get them back to my brother’s house, where my post-op dad is waiting to receive a flesh pizza. No pepperoni, add pineapple, NY. Some folks are vegetarians so the other pizza is that style. Mostly cheese, add onion, seasoned crust, mmmmm. I sincerely wanted to apologize if I seemed cross, or in any way rude, I was preoccupied & full of anxiety such that I couldn’t even get the map app talking after. My frustrations occasionally give rise to a case of the blurts and I humbly acknowledge the struggle y’all face trying to keep pizzaholics (and so on) happy. It was an above and beyond gesture. I’m not too proud to admit my dad and I needed it. Roughly as much as y’all need raises Y’all are incredible people up here.

Domino's Hits it Out of the Park! This was my first time ordering from the Domino's on 141st Street in Apple Valley, and I was super impressed! I could tell they were slammed - the phone kept ringing and there were a few people waiting for pickup. But even with the rush, the staff was incredibly friendly and efficient. My order was up in no time at all. The real star of the show, though, was the pizza itself. It was cooked to absolute perfection. The crust had that satisfying crunch on the outside and a nice chew on the inside. All the toppings were fresh and flavorful, and they definitely weren't skimping on the cheese! It was honestly one of the best Domino's pizzas I've ever had. Overall, a fantastic experience. Super fast service, friendly staff, and a delicious pizza. I'll definitely be ordering from this Domino's again!

We pick up pizza from this location once a week! We have been going here consistently for the past 2 years and we’ve never had a bad pizza. They are always hot, loaded with toppings and great quality. Thanks Domino’s!

The staff were really nice when helping us place our order and the pizza came out very fast. 10/10 experience would highly recommend!

We ordered a 12 in pizza for carryout, I like the price at $11.88 but there was hardly anything on it!! The sauce was very thin but tasty. But there was hardly any cheese on the pizza!!! Not at all like the advertisement on TV 😕 more like a toasted cracker with a couple of pieces of meat on it..... And where was the mushrooms and onions?!?!?

Always good. Our local go to asian restaurant. Great for take out and prices are reasonable.

Ordered food through Uber eats so I can’t comment on service but the food was not good. Boneless spare ribs lacked any flavor except for extreme amounts of salt. Fried rice had a weird taste, not sure what but it was not good. How can a Chinese place mess up fried rice?!? Lo mein was super super super greasy!!! Inedible. Spending $50 on take out that you cannot eat is such a waste.
Kerry A — Google review
Great place to get a good amount of food for the money. Owners are the nicest people every time. Food is awesome too.
Brian P — Google review
This is the only Chinese restaurant I go to anymore. When the food is always hot, fresh, and delicious tasting at a very affordable price....why would I go anywhere else. The husband and wife that own this place are very friendly. I eat here about once a week. I almost always get Chicken chow mein which is beyond reasonable price. $12 of chow mein will feed two people. Chicken curry is real good too. 👍
Matt K — Google review
Our first time ordering from here, and we were not disappointed! The food was delicious!

This is a very nice takeout. I keep going back for the lo mein because I find it some of the best around.

This is exactly what I was looking for, in comfort food. They have good selection, ordering online was simple, and the food was prepared quickly. Within two minutes I was home again, enjoying a succulent Chinese meal, and I got quite a lot of food for $25.

I’m not even sure how this is possible but I found a staple in my sesame chicken. This is our first time ordering from East China and I’m sure this isn’t typical but it was scary enough that we won’t be ordering from them again. I did try to call the restaurant but they didn’t answer so I wasn’t able to report this incident and allow them an opportunity to respond.

My hubs was at Burlington Coat Factory in Texas the other day, appealing! So I decided to check out AppleValleys. OMG! Disappointed and beyond ridiculous, you have to make way through the ruckus all over the floors. As I am searching through things, I find myself picking stuff up off the floor, hanging shit up, setting things on shelves etc etc 🙄🫣 tripping over stuff, Total safe hazard. Bogart's Entertainment Center is a versatile venue that offers a wide range of entertainment options. With its expansive complex, it boasts numerous bowling lanes, an arcade, sand volleyball areas, and billiards tables. The center is suitable for various events such as birthday parties, work functions, and even weddings. Additionally, visitors can enjoy American cuisine and drinks while taking in live music performances. The facility also stands out for its excellent customer service provided by friendly and helpful staff members.
Came here for late night bowling and it was so much fun! After 10:30pm it’s $9.99 a person unlimited play, but keep in mind it ends up being $14 after shoes. Chicken finger basket was $15 which is fine for an entertainment center. Overall good service and experience.
Emily B — Google review
We came for my birthday, but it's not my scene. I wasn't sure what to expect, because I hadn't been here before. The bill said that doors were at 6, even though the music was at 8. When my date and I got in, it seemed that we had been offered free tickets for bowling, but they were for $6 off a game. $39.99+ tax per hour on the weekend. There are certain free times, but I can't remember when they said those were, I'm sure that it's listed on the website when you're trying to rent a lane. The food tasted like it was frozen and then warmed up. No flavor, and nothing special. The two burger options were The Bogart's Burger and the Mushroom and Swiss. I forgot that fries came with this burger because they were so bland. Our order was taken right away, granted we were one of the first people there. The server kept asking if we were good, even though we paid the bill right away. I do feel like he cared about providing good customer service. He was very nice and he did keep pouring our water when it was low even after we paid. The sound system was fantastic! They had a large stage, tons of lighting, and the sound was very well contained. My partner and I found ourselves bored at the concert because it wasn't our style of music. We left before the first set ended because it wasn't our vibe. I think that the indoor part of the venue is nice for an older crowd. We caught some patio music as we were leaving, and that was nicer. We might come back to go bowling in the future.
Felix P — Google review
We attended the Dueling Pianos for a birthday celebration. What a great time. They played all the favorites plus added a little dash of comedy to pull it all together. Chris was very helpful in setting up our reservation and getting us a great table up front. The tables were labeled with the reservation name and little cups of snack mix were provided. A fun touch. Drinks were yummy and the servers were on point. I would recommend this event and venue.
C A — Google review
We absolutely loved Pop Rocks!! But the Bogarts venue was subpar sadly. Credit where do: the server was on top of it despite the crowd, and service was fast. That said, the cocktails were too sweet and imbalanced while the food lacked flavor. We ordered the buffalo chicken wrap, salad, chicken tenders, and burger. It was not made tastefully. I wouldn't recommend eating here.
Sarah S — Google review
My first visit to Bogarts last night won’t be my last! Everything was great from start to finish (spent 4 hours there). Service was GREAT with plenty of staff always making sure you were well taken care of. The food was fantastic, with 1/2 price apps being a highlight! Drinks were large, cold and well made. Ice water carafes at each table was a nice bonus. The sound and lighting system for live music is stellar! Dance floor is not huge but very adequate for busting a move! The entire vibe was friendly mixed with comfort and fun! Thanks, Bogarts! See you soon!
Karen P — Google review
I attended an event here recently, Dueling Pianos. I haven't been to Bogarts in 25 years. I find the venue a fun space to watch live music. They have a dance floor, typical food, like burger, chicken wrap, flatbread, salad. Pretty low key place, a bit outdated space attached to a bowling alley. But an awesome space for live music and a very attentive and helpful wait staff. I would return for live music! It would be nice for the arcade space to be moved. Overall, fun event space. Great staff.

I’ve been to Bogart’s a couple times now and I enjoyed my time even more this time than last! Great place to see bands play. The staff was great from the moment we walked in to when we left. You can tell they really try hard to make it an awesome experience for everyone.

The summer kids bowl free program is pretty awesome! After we signed up we got the discount for paying for the lane/game. We saved $6 per person $42 for us. We only have to pay for the bowling shoes, which is about $5 per person. The end lane has a few issues with a missing pin or a ball getting stuck here and there. The staff quickly helped us with any issues. The service was great. My family liked the pizza and cheese curds too. We are hoping to play arcade games and the pinballs next time!

If you're looking for a vibrant spot to unwind, Wild Bill's Sports Saloon in Apple Valley is the place to be! This lively venue caters to adults seeking entertainment with options like Bingo and Etabs for some light gambling. The atmosphere is perfect for catching your favorite game while enjoying a cold beer at the bar or relaxing on their spacious patio. The menu boasts an impressive variety of dishes, including a standout chicken cheesesteak that pairs perfectly with au jus.
Food is great and a they have an expansive menu. I had their flatbread pizza which was excellent. If you like sports bars, this has a great atmosphere. Lots of tv's and they're actually mounted at a level where you can see them from anywhere in the establishment. Just a cool vibe too. The service was excellent too. Very responsive. Ellie was my server and she's a rockstar.

We enjoyed coming here to watch some sports, have a few drinks, and sample the food. The menu is huge and I appreciated that they had a chicken cheese steak option. The patio area is very large and the open floor plan, prompt service, and MANY alcohol options makes this a rockin' place I'm sure. But also when we went on a Sunday afternoon, very kid friendly. On top of that, they have live music Friday and Sunday afternoons.

Very slow service. We went to the patio on a nice day and sat down at 5:35. My beverage arrived at about 6:15. I'm not sure what caused the delay. I've improved this rating to a 3 Star (from 2 star) because the restaurant gave us appetizer coupons to make up for the slower service. Seems like they were understaffed?

We had a fantastic time at Wild Bill’s Sports Bar! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming — perfect for catching a game or just hanging out with friends. What really made the experience exceptional was our waitress, Elisa. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Her great attitude and genuine smile made us feel right at home. The food was delicious, the drinks were on point, and the service was top-notch. We’ll definitely be coming back — thank you, Elisa, for making our night so enjoyable!

The only reason this is getting three starts is because we love everyone here and have never had a bad experience until today. The bingo caller that was filling in had absolutely no idea what they were doing. Stephanie would have never let this happen. We called bingo and half the dining room for sure heard and were saying “he called bingo” and she still called the next number and then told us we were not going to be validated. We are regulars and this left a bad taste in our mouths. We will never be back for another bingo.

1st timer here! I used a birthday coupon, where you buy 2 beverages and one entree and you get one entree free. We don't drink alcohol or pop usually, but we found something and then got Mac & cheese with a chicken piece on top (thought it'd be mixed in), and I got chicken fajitas. Make sure to ask for no onions on the lettuce, tomato, and cheese plate, because they give a lot of green onions. I don't know many people who put those types in fajitas. Live and learn! The atmosphere is older (55+ at the bar), with music videos on the TV, along with sports. Great experience for us!

Our server Cori absolutely made our night. She was personable, attentive, and entertaining. Our needs were always met with a smile and a cute story or anecdote. She's efficient and knowledgable. I was in the biz for 32 years, 10+ as a manager and I would hire this gal without a doubt. She is a great asset to your team!

Kelley Park

Park
Kelley Park is a well-maintained city park that offers a range of family-friendly activities. It features grassy fields, shaded play structures, and a picnic gazebo for visitors to enjoy. The park is particularly popular during the summer when the splash pad opens, providing kids with a fun way to cool off and make new friends. Throughout the year, various entertainment events take place in the park, making it an enjoyable destination for families.
Beautiful city park. Very well maintained. Apple valley city council takes great care of the park. Dog friendly. Very much family friendly. Beautiful to see kids playing in the splash pad ( during summer ) and in the plays sets throughout the year. There are various entertainment events happening during summer in the park. And the people make it all the more special. Amply parking for your cars around the park and each sides. The cherry blossoms are breathtaking in spring! Trees are very pretty and adds so much color to the city itself. Surrounded by beautiful apartment complex seems like a safe park to play for all. Great for gatherings with family and friends.

Beautiful serene park. Unimaginable that senseless violence would happen here. I pray this park and the surrounding areas continue to be safe environments for families and members of the community. 🙏🏽

Just moved to the area recently, we loved this park! It’s perfect! Not crowded when there is no event, have enough picnic tables & grills for everyone. Dog friendly. The splash pad is simple but fun & spacious for my 1,3&4 to run around. The playground is a perfect size, not too big nor small. Great for kids in all ages. But be cautious because some wet kids plays in the playground so it’s can be slippery & danger. My 1&3 slipped & falls a fews time. So be cautious in case your kids are small like mine & slipped in the wrong spot, they can get hurt. AND UNFORTUNATELY, this park will be remodeling into a bigger park which its will be even more fun! I did not look closely but I hope they will still have the splash pad.

Amazing fun park, especially with kids. Fun play area, little water park. Covered area and plenty of benches. Some good trees for shade and open areas for football(soccer) and football. Looked good for picnics.

Great spot to take the kiddos for free on a hot day to a splash pad or just a park day. Not too much shade. The bathroom could have been better care of as it smelled of pee, and the garbage cans were overly filled. Wish park maintenance came around more often - we were there for 5 hours, and the garbage was filled already.
C M — Google review
The splash pad was a bit of a disappointment. Many of the water features are not functioning properly or just don’t work. Rusty, kinda gross. Love that the playground is close by and there are trees to sit under for shade.

If you find yourself in Apple Valley, make sure to stop by Celts Craft House, a charming spot that perfectly blends an upscale pub atmosphere with a cozy vibe. This hidden gem is nestled within the Grand Stay Hotel and Conferences, making it a delightful surprise for those who stumble upon it. With its Irish roots, Celts Craft House boasts an enticing menu featuring fresh burgers, hearty sandwiches, and satisfying entrees that are perfect for any appetite.
Celt’s is in the Grandstay Hotel. I go here a couple times a year and would like to make it a once a month place at least. The food and the service are top of the line. The house made sauces for the Banger appetizer are exceptionally good. I can’t wait to order that item when I go there. Enjoy…

6/25/25. Bartender very abrupt and almost rude. Did not feel welcomed here at all. Staying at the Grand in AV because restaurant is onsight. Food was greasy, but definitely good. Will reconsider staying here for long term this winter because like to not drive drive when drinking and thought this place would be perfect. kindness is key these days. Tipped 20% to try and make it worth her while to be here. Too bad - with better attitude this bar/food could be a huge success.

I drive over 20 minutes to go to Celts and go at all times of the day. The food is fantastic for the price. Beers are a decent deal too and I've never had bad service. The fish fry on Friday is super good. The pork rib eye with carrots is delicious. Clean bathrooms. Highly recommend

My husband and I are staying at the GrandStays hotel, and Nate the front desk clerk recommended we come here. The prices are super reasonable, and the food is worth every penny. On our first visit, My husband tried the Pork Ribeye which came with fries, and he got a cup of Manhattan Clam Chowder. I got the Surf and surf I got coleslaw and rice pilaf as my sides. Everything was delicious, and since we're staying multiple nights we stopped back in for lunch the day. Our second visit, my husband got a steak sandwich which came with fries, and he got onion rings on the side. I got a bowl of the Manhattan Clam Chowder because it was that good , and I got the Buffalo Chicken Salad. Again, everything was delicious. It's a little hidden, there is a street entrance and a side entrance between the GrandStays hotel entrance and the convention center but it is well worth finding your way in.

Happened to be in Apple Valley and found this hidden gem that is not very noticeable while driving. It's located within Grand Stay Hotel and Conferences. It was late - around 1:40pm or so - and we were on a father-daughter lunch date. The lunch hour rush was behind us and there were just a handful of diners. I assumed most of the staff would have left and they would be closing down after lunch. But no, they were open with supposedly a skeleton crew and the bartender, Jim (Schire) attended to us right away. They have seating at the bar or tables or booths. It was a very homely feeling inside and we settled down in a booth. They have a full bar and the choices of beer on tap made it a hard decision for what to have. Jim was happy to give us a taste. (I'll definitely be back for the nitro!). Did I mention, they have 22 or 23 different varieties on tap. We ordered some Jalapeño chips and were pleasantly surprised when the order came. Assumed it would be potato chips with Jalapeño rub but they were actually jalapeños lightly battered. They had a mild heat, very tender yet crunchy. We came to know that Al (Brady), the chef/owner soaks them in his secret marinade the day before. Talk about labor of love, this is a must have again on our next trip! The choice of burgers and sandwiches were also good. While my daughter ordered the Craft house burger, I went for the Rueben. It was loaded with corned beef which was so soft & tender that it literally disintegrated in the mouth. It is evident that both Al and Jim take pride in the restaurant while looking after guests. We live 35 minutes away but will be driving over again to try something else from their food menu and ofcourse the nitro!

Comfortable seating in the bar with reasonable price. It took a while for us to get the drinks due to lack of staffs. Limited cocktails drinks options. Fried fish was tender. Coworkers like the salmon salad and wings. We had a great time playing Vingo. Our waitress was friendly.

Subway is a casual counter-service chain that specializes in customizable sandwiches and salads, catering to those who prioritize health-conscious dining. This particular location stands out for its cleanliness and efficient, friendly staff who ensure a pleasant experience. Diners appreciate the ample food supply, avoiding the common issue of running low on ingredients. The recent remodel adds a fresh touch to the ambiance, making it an inviting spot for both quick meals and leisurely bites.
Best Subway in the area. Always clean and the staff is fast and friendly. They dont seem to run out of food as much as the Burnsville one off of 11. I like the new remodel too.

Very rude lady. I got just 3 veggies on my foot long. For the olives there were just 4 pieces. So I ask for more. She put a few more but it was my daughter likes a little more on her sub so I requested some more. At which she said that she will not put anymore. Extremely rude and terrible customer service. I have given them business for years, not anymore. All the best staying in business. My request was not un reasonable, the owner was arrogant and full of her self.

I crave the Subway sandwiches from back in the day. Fresh bread and made just the way you want it. The past 5 years it's been the same for me. I order Subway because I love the sandwiches. Then, when I get it, I get day old (maybe even two day old) crumbly stiff bread! I can't even eat it. I get so disappointed I swear off Subway for months. I've tried waiting till after the lunch rush hoping for fresh bread. I've tried flat out requesting fresh bread and being assured it's fresh only to open it up to a crumbly mess. I have held off writing this review for over a year but today I've just had it. Another one bites the dust for me. The quality of the food has gone down hill and there is nothing I can do to stop it. I can make a better fresher sandwich on my own. You had one job Subway: make fresh sandwiches and you can't even do that!

We came early for dinner, about 3:50p.m. so almost no waiting. The server was fast talking but easy to understand and had our footlongs done fast - Great? Except, when he asked if have it TOASTED or not for my wife, she said YES, and for mine, I said no. The Honey Mustard bottle ran out on mine & was a little light, hoping a little more, but he just put it back in the place it goes & I thought the Next worker will pick up an empty bottle? After my wife was 1/2 way done with Half her footlong, she told me he DIDN'T TOAST IT. I remember distinctly her saying yes, and found out she was looking at something else as he was moving so fast - so didnt notice it right away. She had a Stomach operation years ago and should NOT EAT PLAIN or WET BREAD as it can maker her THrow up in the night. About 5 mins later, when there was no customers, I told them they (he\she.. couldn't tell, looked like same person) DIDN'T TOAST her Footlong when she had clearly answered yes. The gal didn't understand me at first by saying Yes, she did. She thought it was the last customer. I pointed to my wife sitting, finishing the one half, and the now female server said, "that was the last worker, he gone now, he left already". Well, so what. I asked what they can do about it, maybe a gift card of even 1/2 a footlong, and again referred to the person that MADE the footlong was already gone. Wow. I think she offered to TOAST the REST of the other half, veggies and all, but who wants that? Even just 5 yrs ago a Restaurant would offer to MAKE ANOTHER one or give a small gift card, but no, not here. No WONDER Subways are closing. The workers hardly speak English (she kept speaking Spanish to another worker for help) and they have NO IDEA what CUSTOMER SERVICE IS or how to be part of a BUSINESS. Subways USED to be my ALL-TIME, FAVORITE since the 90's for Fresh, Healthy, Low cost, Fast Food. That started dwindling about 10 yrs ago & It REALLY depends on which one you go to.

Got there at 8:20 pm today 5/16/25 my son ordered his girlfriend ordered I ordered a foot long the boos sandwich and after couple of minutes they told me they only have 2 meatballs abiusly not enough to make the sandwich. Not good considering you close at 10 according to the website. I told him not to worried that I didn't want it. And pay for the other 2 sandwiches.

2nd time in a month with same person making sandwich, she is rude for no reason. Ordered a toasted sandwich and I swear it was in the oven for like 2 sec, cheese didn't even melt. Was soooooo cold. American restaurant
Culver's is a beloved fast-food chain that specializes in delicious frozen custard and signature burgers crafted from high-quality Midwest beef and dairy. During my recent visit to one of their locations, I was eager to compare it with another I had tried before. To my delight, the quality remained consistently impressive! We ordered three meals for around $63, which felt reasonable given the generous portions.
I've always enjoyed Culver's. The food is filling, and fairly inexpensive. I like that they have a large amount of different seating options. They brought our food to the table, and were very kind. I'm impressed that they now have QR codes to order from the table. They also have outdoor seating, which is nice this time of year. I thought it was cool that they had a Little Free Library out front. My only critique is that the cheese curds had a strong acidic aftertaste. The Large Cheese Curds felt like a Large. My partner and I were both satisfied with our different Butterburgers. I will be back!

As someone who had never been to a Culver’s before I had high hopes for this considering it is in the Midwest. I wouldn’t say it lives up to the outrageous hype I hear everyone talking about but the food was fresh and the prices are fair. The lucky charms mixer and it was by far the highlight of the meal.

Culver's is one of my favorite fast food places, and for this location in particular the fries were amazing, and i thought i would try the pub burger this time- so me and my family took to-go tonight and opened our food when we got home. I did not see the paper initially and ended up accidentally eating it- plus when i opened the box it was soaked in oil and mayo... I'm disgusted. Edit: we called and they offered a free basket, were good now- I just won't be going back to this location

If I could do it for a big fat ZERO I would!!! All young kids no customer service skills. I had to ask after card payment if we're all good to go she stood there and said NOTHING!!! Food came out and the fries were double fried in the deep fryer along with dirty oil in fryer and that also ruined the fish.. yuck!!! And the dinner rolls were dry and hard as hockey pucks... yuck yuck 🤮 no customers and trash all over thee floors
Shelley B — Google review
There were 12 young employees standing around laughing, whipping their hair around above and around the food, no gloves as they would touch everything including their face then touch shake lids on people's drinks. The drive thru line was backed up around the building, inside was not too bad but more workers standing around talking and giggling than getting drinks or orders. We waited for 1 drink a very long time.

Erbert and Gerbert's is a delightful chain eatery that specializes in submarine sandwiches, soups, and chili, all served in a relaxed counter-service environment. Diners rave about the quick service and friendly staff who are dedicated to crafting delicious meals. A standout recommendation is the Narmar sandwich paired with bacon and jalapeno chips for an extra kick! While some feel there’s room for improvement in the ambiance, the lively music adds a fun vibe to your dining experience.
My family and I went to eat here and the service was great. The place was clean, which is something you don’t see much these days at fast food style restaurants. It was nice to see and made us more comfortable eating there. Nice guys working as well!

Everyone is always kind and doing their best to get our sandwiches made quickly. The food is consistent and yummy. I get the Narmar with bacon and jalapeño chips. I have a 4 out of 5 for atmosphere just because I feel there can be improvements to the aesthetic but the music is always bumpin’ which I love.

First they came for the Erupter. Then they came for the Quatro. And then they came for me! Seriously though, my included photos are from when they still offered the Quatro. They also got rid of the brisket. Wonderfully original sandwiches like the Quatro and Erupter or that delicious brisket mac n cheese is what truly made Erbert’s and Gerbert’s special, not the dumb stuff on the walls. Oh well, at least they still give you that extra bread piece, which is exciting.

Five Guys is a beloved fast-food chain that has carved out a niche for itself with its made-to-order burgers, crispy fries, and delicious hot dogs. Originating from the Murrell family’s dedication in the 1980s and 1990s to perfecting their simple yet effective system, Five Guys has become synonymous with fresh ingredients and customizable options. Guests can enjoy free peanuts while they wait for their meals, adding to the casual dining experience.
Terry was awesome, not only been here for over 10 years he was caring, knew exactly what I wanted, washed his hands each time with new gloves and overall the most inviting 5 Guys I have seen in a long time! Now my only issue, is I wish you would allow your team to take the entire day off of Easter …they are open 11a-3p but come on…a burger and fries is not a substitute for your entire staff to spend with family. My opinion.

Alimagnet Dog Park is a hidden gem in the southern suburbs, offering a serene and picturesque environment for dog owners. The 85-acre park features well-groomed pathways, beautiful trees, and convenient amenities such as doggy bags and benches. With fenced off segments for dry areas and water access, it provides plenty of space for dogs to play while ensuring their safety. Additionally, the park offers nature trails, canoe launches, and even a volleyball court for visitors to enjoy.
Been going here for years and have seen the changes over the last 8 years. Great place to take you dog, water access if your doggy is water-bound but it's sectioned off so you can avoid you mess if you please! My doggo likes to hunt for rodents in the tall grass.

Love this place! People are so kind and friendly. I appreciate the fact that they put in a gate around the pond so parents have the choice of whether or not the children go for a dip or not. (I am talking about 4 legged children.). It’s definitely not a pond for humans to cool off in. There is a small dog area that’s quite large. The walking paths around the backside of the dog park are great for those of you looking for a brisk stroll (leash required). Great playground for kids. They also put in a water fountain for the pups and a hose to rise off the reminisce (so your car stays cleanish) of what was an amazing time your dog just had at this park! All 3 of my dogs have one complain! Please do something about the thistle overgrowth in the woods. By the time we leave at least 2 of them refuse to walk any further because those things are stuck in between their toes. Otherwise. Great FREE dog park/kid park/social park.

Awesome off leash dog park! There is a separate section for smaller dogs and the fencing is reinforced along the bottom to keep everyone safe. There was water and bowls as well as chairs and tables throughout the park. It is clean and well taken care of. I will definitely be back again with my dog while I am in town. My Benny was bored in my hotel room and this park was exactly what he needed. I'm impressed Burnsville! Well done!! ❤️

GREAT dog park. If your dog wants to swim exit back gate follow trail through woods brings you to lake that is clear you can see the sand at the bottom. Alimagnet Offleash Dog Park is a hidden gem for dog owners seeking a serene and picturesque environment. This park is a true haven, with its natural beauty enhanced by well-groomed pathways adorned with beautiful trees. The presence of doggy bags showcases the park's commitment to cleanliness and convenience for pet owners. The addition of benches provides a tranquil spot to rest, reflect, or simply enjoy the ambiance. While the park may not be expansive in size, the ample open space allows dogs to mingle and socialize freely. Overall, Alimagnet Offleash Dog Park is a delightful retreat that offers both dogs and their owners a wonderful place to unwind and connect with nature.

Park is a circle with a big pond in the middle. Maybe 10 acres. I took photos of the whole walkable section. Walk around the whole park in about 10-15 minutes. Be careful of letting your dog in water as water was covered by algae

A nice location that is usually pretty busy. They have seperate areas for smaller dogs and larger dogs. There is also a small lake for them to play. There is a kids playground adjacent to the dogpark so the kids can play while the dogs play!

A nice off leash dog park. Our dog enjoys the tennis balls that have been left. He’s a shy puppy but all the dogs we’ve met have been nothing but nice and respectful. It has 3 gated areas one for small dogs, one for large dogs and the other one opens up to a lake, but we’ve been going in the winter so haven’t seen what it’s like in the summer yet. We come here often so definitely recommend this park to all dog owners who have a fun and non-aggressive dog. Also, beware of thin ice in the early winter months. Do not leave any valuables in car because there have been a few break-ins and my husband and I have been a bit hesitant on going back here.

Children can enjoy the great kid programs and community events, such as the opportunity to meet Santa at the Frozen Apple event. The center also provides a free open gym for tots with play equipment available. While it is a basic community center without a pool or indoor playground, it features ice rinks, basketball courts, volleyball courts, meeting spaces, and even rental rooms.
I go to another of activities there and exercise 3 days a week

Open gym isn’t very welcoming. Tried to play volleyball air badminton today and people were very clicky. No structure to moving players in and out off the court. Didn’t feel like forcing my way into a game so I asked for a refund. Lady at the front desk said that wasn’t allowed but obliged. Pickleball is always in the morning and super busy. Wish they had pickleball in the afternoon or evening sometime also as there is clearly a lot of demand for it.

Open gym volleyball may as well be retitled premade 6s or round robin league night. If you don't have a team don't bother. They make no effort to get you onto a team or to make sure the teams are playing on courts at their skill level. As a beginner who arrived on my own I did not feel welcome here.
Aaron B — Google review
The workers at the AVCC are all rude and miserable. All of them seem to hate working for AV. Only bad experiences with them. wouldn’t let me and my family into open gym. Also they didn’t have AC last summer. The courts are so old and dusty that you just slip around.
Colby B — Google review
I bring my kids to the open toddler gym and it is a lifesaver! Once there was an older boy who was playing too roughly with the toys, and no one could figure out who his parents were. I told a staff member and they talked to the child right away and the issue was solved. 10/10 highly recommend!
Laura B — Google review
I need to say the kid program's this place provides are great. My kids love the community events here. Go to the frozen Apple and sign up to see Santa. Open gym for tots is free and they have some balls and things for kids to play with. However, it is a basic Community Center. They have ice rinks, basketball ball courts, and volleyball courts. There are meeting spaces as well. There is no pool or indoor playground. The building is located next to a newer senior center building and an indoor ice rink.
Kristen S — Google review
I've been playing volleyball here for years. I believe they still have open volleyball the one or two nights a week but I've only played in the league for the last 10 years. They have 3 hardwood courts and 3 Sport Court courts. They have pretty good locker rooms with showers and some vending machines. They have a lot of information on their website but it takes a bit of navigation to find it all.
David S — Google review
The community center and the park use to be so nice, now we have to deal with dogs running around and pickle ball noise all week, they have and continue to do very little to address any of these issues, I would avoid the park as who knows how much poop is left all over the fields, shame when we have such a vibrant community with tonnes of sports going on. Even when you point these things out they do nothing to assist, if I could go to zero starts I would.

The Apple Valley Dunn Brothers location is absolutely Fantastic! The owners are so kind and the staff is amazing. The service and coffee + food is always exceptional whether I order to go or eat at the coffee shop.

The workers were very kind and supportive people who cared about the customer experience. The food was good and the drink was quickly made. Would love to come back again soon!

Just met the new owner, Bill. It might be just a bit out of your way if you're on Cedar Avenue. But it's certainly worth the drive. The coffee does taste a lot fresher and more flavorful than the other competition. And I strongly support independent businesses over corporate.

Our favorite weekend breakfast. We come every Saturday and Sunday for coffee and either a sandwich or muffin. Always a warm welcome and excellent coffee and food.

Dunn Bros in Apple Valley is my go-to. Always clean, chill vibes, and the staff is on point. I grab an Americano every time—smooth, bold, never disappoints. Way better than the big chains. This spot just gets it.

thing is I don't like the coffee cup Slvele. (I mean the thing to hood up the cup. )for the coffee cup the reason because I was holding for a about a minute and then my finger started Bruning hot..otherwise it was very nice customer 👍service and of course they're having a good food. Too.

I come here for my caffeine and internet fix. Soft jazz music playing in the background. They now have a lunch menu which is very tasty.

Nice place for an easy walk. I'm recovering from a back injury and was looking for a shorter, level track; this was perfect. Two lakes to enjoy, a big meadow surrounded by tall trees. There a nice playground for the kids. Park connects to Crystal Lake Park, Keller Lake, and the Lac Lavon athletic complex.

Beautiful Park w/pond! Nice big playground for the kids to play in, has lots of play equipment to keep them busy. The trail was paved and if you want to do quick walks or longer walks you can do both! Beautiful scenery, super nice and ckean!

Water is very clear for swimming by the beach in the Burnsville side, but tons of weeds don't allow for shore fishing (other than smaller panfish). The park itself is REALLY nice, and wild nature is abundant.

Great place to go walk around has a quite a few walking paths and to parks and a few baseball fields and a volleyball court and a tennis court this place also has a lake which is pretty nice and some woods you can walk through with paved paths and unpaved paths to walk along.

Nestled in a laid-back atmosphere, Panino Brothers is the ultimate chill spot for sandwich lovers and sports enthusiasts alike. This unique eatery specializes in delicious sandwiches crafted from pizza dough, offering a delightful twist on traditional fare. With an impressive selection of beers on tap and plenty of arcade games to keep you entertained, it’s the perfect place to unwind after a long day.
Great place to meet with friends, have a drink and enjoy being out without it being overwhelming. This spot has pool tables, darts, and a very open layout.

Place was dark and dumpy. Service was terrible. The bartender was not friendly or attentive. It was obvious she hated her job. The only reason I'm giving it a 3 is bc the food was good eventho it took forever (this was at 11:30 during the day and the place was empty) and we got lucky at the pulltab box. We always tip well and luv supporting our local pubs but will not b going back unless it's just for take out
Ender B — Google review
I heard about this place from one of my college professors and was amazed I had never heard of this place before so I had to try it out. The resturant is tucked away into a corner and has a traditional bar vibe, but also has areas where its more chill for people who dont like crazy noise. The food is absolutely spectacular, I had the Fredo Pie and while the amount of sauce was daunting at first, I kept dipping for more. There was a small mistake with the order, but I didnt even taste it until our lovely server came over to fix it. The only complaint I could find about this place is that I had never heard of it before despite living in the area for 19 years. Panino Brothers will become a routine dinner spot for me and my family now!
Amanda B — Google review
My food "The Rachel " was so good. It was turkey, sauerkraut, spicy mustard, and tons of melted mozzarella cheese on a grilled panino. Service was great thanks Bob! Not much for decor, Panino Brothers is more set up as a bar than a restaurant, but was clean and friendly! I will definitely eat here again.
Mike L — Google review
Male bartender with long hair was sarcastic and rude. Aggressively yelled at people coming in to show ID, ok cool but we wouldn’t have known that because he’s behind the bar. Watched it happen with everyone that came in, if it’s that much of an immediate issue, idk… get a sign, or another worker, or a stamp/wristband to give to people so you can keep track? Idk maybe do what every other bar does. Seems weird to yell at people for that who are at a bar to get a drink and will more than likely be coming up anyway. Also not really a young crowd, so just a very strange approach overall. He aggressively yelled at people at 1am to leave. Their door says they close at 2, yes I understand Google says 1, and I understand trying to get people out but this was excessive. We also witnessed the bartender almost get into a fight with two guests on separate occasions for different things. I was a server for 6+ years and I’ve never seen service like it. Would stay away if you don’t want to stress about the staff trying to fight you or being randomly screamed at for existing. We’ve tried panino brothers multiple times and each time we’re disappointed. Last night was by far the worst experience, won’t be back after that.
Hazel — Google review
Enjoyed our visit. Very quiet during the noon hour on a week day. Which was perfect for us with our kids so we didn't have to worry about disturbing anyone. Service was still slow but we didn't mind. We were all chatting. Good was great. Love DC the dough for the Eddie Panino. Looks like a good place for the bar scene later on.
Tiffany R — Google review
The French Onion Soup (see photo), let's just say the presentation was the best part of the soup. The cheese was obviously layered and not melted long enough in the microwave. The sodium level was off the chart. It tasted like dish water with a pound of road salt. I wouldn't feed it to a prisoner at GTMO. Pluses, the Philly Steak Panino was good. The onion rings were above average. Drinks were good and the prices were reasonable. Service was OK, at best. The soup scored a minus 5, hence the one-star overall rating.
Greg L — Google review
This is one of the weirdest restaurants you will ever go to. I used to frequent the Eden prairie location before it closed but I can assure you the Apple valley location runs the exact same way. The atmosphere is bizarre. Usually dark and empty with staff who seemingly do not care about their jobs or their customers. However, they simply make unbelievably delicious food for very reasonable prices. I guess that's their thing. I go every once in awhile when I have lots of time and patience to spare.

I found the locals bar with a hockey theme to it! The bar seating was full which is where I usually like to sit and the staff had no issues with my group starting at a high top and moving spots, still happily served us our drinks. Sunday is all day happy hour with a brunch menu;can order from main menu as well. Nice selection of menu items prices reasonable. Only issue was portion size of cheesy potatoes would have liked more but really did not “need” more

Food is great! We've been for brunch and dinner and both have impressed. Burgers are fantastic, my wife and I also shared the queso appetizer, it was all delicious. If you do visit for brunch, highly recommend the Country fries steak or the breakfast burger.

The food was pretty good. I liked their Cobb salad. The server that we had, though, was subpar. He stepped on my foot and he was also kind of rude to me when I asked for more dressing.

We had a large group here and our server was working her tail off with drink orders and keeping separate tabs. Kudos to her and thanks! I had the power bowl with chicken which was very tasty and healthy. Others enjoyed their burgers plus the excellent tater tots and they seemed to have some good beers on tap.

First time customer. I decided to try it mostly because of the good reviews and I was not disappointed! My husband and I were there for lunch on 2/15. We each ordered handhelds. He ordered the Bleu Burger and I ordered the Smokehouse Burger. Mine was delish and my husband said that his was sooo good! Very nice serving sizes and decent prices. I had a cup of the wild rice and it was really tasty. Waitress was smily and attentive. Will surely come back! 🤗

Thai restaurant
Nestled in Apple Valley, Taste of Thaiyai is a charming family-run restaurant that offers an extensive menu filled with beloved Thai dishes, perfect for dining in or taking out. Owned by Nyi Htun since 2008, this eatery showcases the culinary talents of a Burmese chef who has maintained the essence of traditional flavors while introducing some modern favorites. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a delightful spot to enjoy authentic cuisine.
First time here and the food was great. Had the Green Curry with Chicken and it wasn't greasy or overly salted and had just the right amount of spice to it. Eggrolls were average and a bit over fried. Also, their online menu is a bit out of date. I tried to order the #17 Stuffed Bamboo Shoots eggroll and the woman said they don't carry that anymore. Not sure if it's temporary, permanent or when that change was made, but could/should be updated. Carryout order and the woman was very friendly when I picked up and paid.

I believe the long time owner sold the restaurant a few years back? Most likely why seeing other reviews of decade customers no longer coming back due to lack of flavor and service. Ordered papaya salad to go 20 min later the order wasn’t even ready upon arriving. The beef jerky was over cooked and hard.papaya looked like it was just shredded and poured sauce over with lack of flavor. Won’t be returning.

What a treasure this place is. I’ve been going to Rascal’s family restaurant for over a decade and I had never tried Taste of Thaiyai which is next door. Frankly, I actually prefer this Thai place over Rascals now. The food is excellent and generous. The Tom Yum was Yummy. The spring rolls were excellent. The wings were perfect. The beef curry was very complex and tasty. Also had the shrimp salad and it was fresh and light. They were very busy for a Wednesday evening and there were a lot of take out orders as well. The entire restaurant was full yet the staff was friendly and professional. The service I give a solid A+ My only regret is not having tried Taste of Thaiyai sooner. Exceptional. Updating Aug 17, 2023 I’ve been here for another 8-10 times since my first review. This place has continued to be consistently good and has even gotten better. Tonight we had the Tom Kha, special spring rolls, duck curry, beef curry and it was all excellent. Service is friendly and quick. A+ again! Updating Mar 19, 2024 After dining the last 3-4 times, the food has remained excellent however the service has taken a massive nose dive. Tables are dirty. Service is unfriendly and uncaring. I feel bad for the cooks in the back making great food while the staff up front are failing miserably. Will not go back till they change.

Came a couple weeks ago before going to the Jack-o-lantern Spectacular and ordered takeout. Food was very good. They gave us an extra pad thai but forgot the cream cheese wontons but made it out quickly. We really enjoyed the chicken eggroll and wontons. The workers were very nice. Will be back to dine in.
Phoneteep C — Google review
This place was delicious. We got the pad see ew, massaman curry, fresh spring rolls and the cream cheese puffs. All were exceptional. The pad see ew was one of the best I’ve had with a delicious sweet and salty sauce. The curry had a whole potato in it that just melted in your mouth. Cream cheese puffs were perfectly crispy and just exploded in a sweet creamy interior when bitten into. And the spring rolls didn’t come with the usual thick peanut sauce, but rather a sweeter sticky sauce that was a fun change of pace. Overall I was very impressed with what we got and will definitely be back. Also the total was $46 including tip, which you definitely cannot beat with any other Thai restaurant in the area! I just wish they had drunken noodles, which is my usual go to when ordering Thai food.
Craig H — Google review
I ordered a basil and onion fried rice and they gave me this. The rice was a weird sort of greasy and the chicken was dry and unseasoned. None of the other ingredients that make up a basil and onion fried rice were included. I've never seen a restaurant go downhill this badly.
Jaren J — Google review
Stopped in for soup , chose this place because the review was high for soup - order chicken Tom Yum (medium spice) and chicken Gai Tom Kha soup (mild). Both soups had great flavors; I would highly recommend both soups . There was a larger group , so I had to wait thus service was not immediate . Everyone was friendly . Average atmosphere, Nothing special , older building limited seating.
Linda C — Google review
What a treat! Lovely people serving awesome food. It is the little details that tell you how good a place is. The delightful dipping sauce with crushed peanuts that accompanied the spring rolls was layered with flavors and textures (vs. the usual sweet slurry in many joints). The Tom Yum had just the right level of tartness and was a big hit even with the kids. The staff is courteous and attentive- they nailed the spice level for each one of us. This is five stars for the value for money (shrimp entree was still at $15.99 after all the recent inflation) combined with the service and food quality. The decor is spartan but it’s neat and clean.

I don’t usually go to Denny’s but I came around 7am as I had dropped off my husband for an early flight and I was awake. There weren’t many people in the restaurant but it was pleasant. Server was delightful and really paid attention to making sure I had everything. Good selection of hot sauces. I’d go back again for the gluten free Crazy Spicy Skillet.

I have only visited here once before, several months ago, and it was ok. Today, we went around 5:30 and it was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and the food came quickly. We got burgers and kids' meals, and everything was excellent. We were really surprised and I would not have expected a burger this good at Danny's!
Michael R — Google review
So yeah, this experience was, you know, it Started out to have all the potential in the world. And mind you, and I want to set the stage, this was almost like a completely empty restaurant, like maybe one or two guests in the restaurant Max, and no one was really coming in either. And then sadly, kind of became just a not fun restaurant and just a kind of sadly, a waste of money at a point of time When you know, the food came out, not staggered, like some of the kids food came out late. And then our food came out late. And then one whole entree was missed and ended up coming out much later, those are not things that we like do not like. The oven was broken and you know, they were still serving food that required oven cooking and you know to me it's like, okay if the food can still be made correctly. The food did come out even though it required an Oven and it looked awful. And I mean, I guess it tasted edible but looked just horrendous, like garbage, like disgusting food. You know, we ALL ate we were hungry at one point. We had a child with a meltdown You know, and I was begging the waiters Hey, just bring out some of my toast. You can do that. That's got to be ready. Bring out some of the fruit that we ordered. We'll take that IT would that would help us. That would stop this meltdown from a two year old that was hungry. But no, they didn't they didn't do it. Either they just ignored us, or they simply couldn't be bothered to help. At the end of the day, the the kind of the straw that broke the proverbial camel's back and that camel's got a good backThat camel's got a great back. And it's hard to break it, but the the straw that broke that camel's back was the hair we discovered at the bottom of the kids meal, which was just disgusting. Absolutely Disgusting! So yeah, I mean, at the end of the day, OSHA ought to take a good look at this place. OSHA, meaning the food agency that looks into cleanliness, and to make sure that they're doing this right cuz, we need to have hair Nets on or something we shouldn't be having hairs in our food. The cooks they definitely need to be Wearing hairnets, if that if this kind of thing is happening, it's a sign that there's no hair nets. So at the end of the day, I would not go to this place. I would not could not should not go to this place. And I will not go to this place. And I urge anyone else to avoid it as well. It's just simply tries to do a lot.And fails on every single measure.

Went for breakfast and ordered the value slam. 2 eggs 2 pieces of bacon and 2 pancakes. The eggs and bacon were not good at all and the pancakes were just ok. The waitress was very nice and she did an excellent job.

Wondering if coming in on a Saturday was not a great idea. They were steady, but not packed. We sat for a while before I who I assume is the manager came to ask for drinks. I asked about the specials we saw online, then got the flyer to order. Our food was...black. everything except one of our pancakes and our eggs was extremely overcooked. When I said something to manager, he brought a new hashbrown but was confused on why we didn't want to crunch on all burnt pieces. Last but not least, when we went to pay, we had to wait for someone else as he was texting at the drinks station ignoring us.

I often come to this place because the Food is Great as well as the service. However when I visited this location Wednesday June 25th at night, the waiter who works at 9PM made a disrespectful comment regarding tips. To the best of my knowledge tips are suggested. The store owner or manager should have a conversation with this waiter since since it is not acceptable to disrespect any customer.

I've done 3 total online orders with them in the last 2 years. 2 out of the 3 times I went for pickup, the gentleman at the front makes sure I noticed that he is annoyed. He rolls his eyes.
