Tsingy Rouge, also known as Red Tsingy, is a geological wonder in Madagascar that boasts stunning red-walled cliffs and unique pink-colored rock formations. Accessible via a bumpy road, the site offers an impressive ravine with miles of red sculptures. It's recommended not to miss this attraction when driving south from Antsiranana. The landscape is often described as almost alien or resembling the surface of Mars, making it a truly unique experience.
A very scenic park with stunning views formed by erosion of the Irodo River. An easy walk down to the river is a must to see the formations close up. Well worth the visit from the cruise port at Antsiranana. However the 1.5 to 2 hour journey each way was stressful as the main RN6 is not so main. A single carriageway with a conglomeration of potholes, inundated in parts, dirt track in other parts but with a few kms near Antsiranana in reasonable condition.
Stuart C — Google review
A dirt track of about 18km takes you to a steep but good path down to the Tsingy. It is so beautiful! It feels like ghosts cast in stone. There is another path leading up and out the valley where we were able to buy some refreshing fresh coconut. Well worth a visit.

(Translated by Google) The garden is currently undergoing a complete renovation. Unaware of this, we introduced ourselves, and the owner herself showed us around this estate, which has real potential. Two crocodiles are still present, along with a multitude of lemurs, to which we were able to distribute a few bananas. We also met the young architect and project manager, and his enthusiasm impressed us. We can't wait to come back in a few months to see the garden completed! Deux crocodiles sont encore présents et une multitude de makis auxquels nous avons pu distribuer quelques bananes. (Translated by Google) Don't go there! The crocodile enclosure is tiny, in the park we were asked for 10,000Ar per person, we were offered to feed the crocodiles to see them. Given the conditions of their life in a duck pond we refused to see them. We still had to pay 20,000Ar for 3 instead of 30,000. Work is underway for the construction of a restaurant, I hope that this garden will not be privatized and that the children of the neighborhood will be able to continue to go there to play.

(Translated by Google) Difficult to completely classify it as a tourist attraction, even if it marks the landscape opening onto the bay of Diégo Suarez, because its "sacred" ground is forbidden to vazahas... The vazaha who of course will respect the local "fady" will be able to admire it from the road (or better, from one of the lookouts of the "French mountain". Plage de Ramena is a stunning beach in Madagascar with fine white sand and a serene atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy delicious seafood at the local buffets, offering fresh fish straight from the sea. The emerald waters provide a picturesque backdrop for indulging in heavenly flavors and relaxing by the sea. Access to the beach has been made easier with a new road, making it just a 20-minute drive from Diego.
We had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful beach, which offers a truly picturesque setting. The atmosphere is relaxed, with small vendors offering a variety of local products, adding a charming touch to the experience. Additionally, the beach serves as a convenient starting point to catch a boat to the stunning Emerald Beach, a must-see destination nearby. The boat ride itself is an unforgettable experience, with breathtaking views along the way. Overall, this beach is a fantastic spot to both relax and explore the beauty of the surrounding area.

(Translated by Google) Ramena beach is the essential place to come when you are in Antsiranana (Diego-Suarez) this beach is absolutely magnificent. It is very long and accommodates a lot of hotels, restaurants and places that are still free of everything. In the middle, it is the center of the village with a small square and a small pier. It is from this place that we take the canoe for the emerald sea or for other destinations inaccessible by road. The place is very busy, but still leaves plenty of space. To do absolutely. Pizza restaurant
If you're wandering through Diego Suarez, make sure to stop by "SueGIU," a delightful Italian eatery that has quickly become a favorite among locals and travelers alike. This charming spot offers an authentic pizza experience that will surprise you in Madagascar! With its perfectly crafted dough and fresh, high-quality toppings, each bite is a taste of Italy. The friendly staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal place for families or groups looking to share delicious pizzas.
BBB!!! Best pizza in town, Banger-prices, Big smiles - both from me, a happy customer, and the friendly staff that is always open to adding any kinds of additional toppings to your pizza.

Disappointing experience. I used to like this place and came frequently and often brought friends here. Today was the last time though. I convinced my friend to go for a pizza so we went for it. We ordered and the pizza came quickly. The eggs on the pizza were still raw and quickly we realized that also the dough of the pizza was also raw As we were hungry we ate the toppings but left the pizza base as it was inedible. I called the „manager“ and told him about it. He apologized and went to the pizza chef and now the bad part starts. I watched the manager telling the pizza cook about the problem, and that guy didn’t care at all… he kept looking at his phone while the manager was talking. Simply ignoring him. When the manager later came to my table, he only said sorry but didn’t offer anything to make it up… he could have offered a free dessert or anything as a courtesy. They offered a 10% discount on this pizza instead of simply not charging for a product that was badly made. As I said… I used to like this pizzeria, and mistakes can happen… but the ignorant attitude of the pizza chef, who is more interested in his phone than his work is too much. And a manager should know how to correct a mistake and do better than a ridiculous 10% discount.
Vienna C — Google review
The pizza was ok but the caipirinha i ordered was the worst i tasted in madagascar. They probably diluted the rhum with at least 2 or 3 times the volume of water. I mentioned it to the waiter and he just said sorry, it will be better next time.

Pizza base is good, toppings are not Italian but tasty enough for the price. The tartare was disgusting and we didn't eat any of it and sent it back untouched but it was still charged, as well as 3000 for a tiny box to take the pasta away which we also didn't like and wanted to give to a dog. We were also served mouldy cheese for the pasta that smelt so bad we had to put it on another table. Not a great experience.

Great pizza - was craving a good pizza and this place is legit with a real wood oven. Pizzas are 10-15,000 Ar. Nice upstairs open air seating area.
