Bar
Restaurant
Umbrella's Beach Bar is a hidden gem on Grand Anse Beach in Grenada, run by a group of women serving up delicious Grenadian food just like their moms and grandmoms taught them. This relaxed bar offers a variety of dishes from light sandwiches to creative twists on local cuisine, with an emphasis on fresh seafood and locally-sourced ingredients. The quality of the food here rivals that of upscale restaurants, despite its casual beach bar setting.
Seating on the top floor is the best cause you get a good view of the ocean. Their shrimp tacos were delicious. But the Carib Jab wings took the cake. They were 10 out of 10. My husband says they’re the best wings he’s ever had and that’s saying ALOT. We love this place.
Janessa W — Google review
Stopped by this beachside bar for food and drinks. The location is great, but the service and food leave a lot to be desired. Drinks were actually really good, but they took 20–30 minutes to arrive. As for the food, it took about 1 hour and 20 minutes after ordering, and it wasn’t worth the wait. I tried the grilled fish with golden fries—the worst fish and fries I’ve ever had. Dry, cold, and completely disappointing. Service was slow, and the waiter wasn’t attentive at all. It seemed like everyone around was struggling to get their orders or just waiting forever. To top it off, a 15% service charge was already included in the bill. The view is nice, but honestly, you’re better off skipping this place.
Jun S — Google review
Great affordable place to eat. Very popular so be prepared for a wait for food! The food is great and generous portions.

Umbrella's is a must visit. The staff are super friendly, the ambience is amazing. It's right on the beach so you can enjoy the view while you eat.
Marissa M — Google review
We love umbrella and visited 3 times when we were in Grenada. It’s one of our favorite place to eat. My kids and I are obsessed with the nutmeg ice cream!!!

Great experience. Love coming here when in the area. Food and drinks are delicious and well priced.

Cozy place to share with friends, if you are looking to have fun with live music, this is the right place, the service is super good although very slow, it is also a place with great demand ,The food is delicious, very well prepared dishes and super fancy. I would definitely go again and again .9/10 but only because the service is delayed ok
Ambell D — Google review
Lovely seating upstairs. Good view and airy. Very polite and helpful staff. A lot of choices. The cheesy cod fishcakes and blackened chicken breast with sides were very well tasting. Decent wine prices to be in Caribbean. We will surely come back.

The mall provides a diverse shopping experience with art stores, clothing stores, and a well-stocked grocery store that accepts credit cards. It's very convenient small mall and has a bank a pharmacy , big supermarket ,lots of all kind of small restaurants and cafe electronics ,souvenir and gift shop ,nail salon , mobile services, etc.., safe and security .
Bassam A — Google review
Nice air conditioned mall. Grocery store is well stocked. Decent amount of shops for your needs. Two of the food court restaurants don't seem to open until after 12.
Kevin B — Google review
Spiceland Mall is one of the best shopping spots in Grenada. It’s clean, modern, and has a wide variety of stores to choose from. You can find everything in one place — groceries at IGA, clothes and accessories, electronics, and even a food court for a quick meal. The staff in the shops are friendly and helpful, and parking is usually easy but woth an affordableprice tag. It’s also air-conditioned withinmost stores, which makes shopping comfortable. A great place to stop whether you’re running errands, grabbing a bite, or just browsing through the St.Georges area
Twain S — Google review
Like all of Grenada, shops close business for the day too early! There is only one three stall bathroom which is insufficient for the traffic. Shops have reasonable prices and its a nice place to get all youe needs

They sell grenada spice. Texas Pete, Louisiana, tobacco abs other American products also found in store. Just no McDonald’s. Also present your ID/ flight/ cruise if you’re going to the duty free

Restaurant
Rick's Café is a locally owned restaurant situated in the Grand Anse Shopping Centre, just a short stroll from Grand Anse Beach. It's a popular spot for young people and often features lively music. The menu boasts delicious pizzas, burgers, fries, sandwiches, barbecue dishes, and ice cream that many consider the best on the island. With some staff members having been there for over 15 years, Rick's Café prides itself on consistency in both food and service.
Great service for budget eating establishment. Free WiFi. Large, yummy smoothies. There was a steady stream of customers for the pizza. Kids hanging out had the barbecue chicken specials. Something for every taste.
Joy L — Google review
All the usual western fast food options, which is not really my thing. Seated outdoor and indoor areas. We will most likely have a queue and have to wait 20 or so minutes, especially for pizza. The ice cream counter is great though.
Marshall M — Google review
No standard or quality measures. Some days it’s the best ever. Other days it’s a total let down. They have a lot of the same workers from the 90’s (that’s how long I’ve been coming here) so you’d think the pizza would would be the same. Todays pizza was soggy. The sauce was not their signature sweeter tomato but more of that acidic taste of a canned tomato base. Could have stayed in the oven a little longer.
Melinda C — Google review
Food was great. They also have a variety of different options in terms of what you want to eat and also beverages. I'm personally not a fan of dinning in so I can't really speak on that front, but it seems pretty comfortable.
Jonathan C — Google review
The grill fish with garlic bread and salad, amazing and the prize is reasonable, also no long waiting, love me some old school restaurante, this place been around a while now, I believe the seating area needs upgraded inside

This place seems like the weekend hot spot. Very lovely and entertaining spot to be. Lots of family, music and different flavors ice creams. I recommend this spot if you ever visit grenada. I also recommend the rum and raisin ice cream. Only 2 cons - the lines are long because they only use 1 cashier for years and if you order a pizza, prepare to wait 1 hour minimum on a busy night.

Neighborhoods
The Grand Anse Craft and Spice Market is a popular spot for tourists in Grenada. Located within walking distance from the beautiful Grand Anse Beach, it offers a variety of local trinkets and souvenirs. Visitors can explore vendor booths offering beachwear, spices, vanilla, and more. The market also provides dining options with excellent local cuisine such as oil down and stew chicken. Additionally, nearby attractions include the House of Chocolate where visitors can learn about the history of cocoa production.
A great, clean beach with lots of options, including water sports. A little in the middle is the Spice and Craft Market, a center run by locals where you can get good snacks (e.g. in Joan's Bar), meals and drinks. You can also buy clothes, souvenirs and spices. The clean, well-maintained toilet facilities and shower facilities are very pleasant. Esther's Bar has particularly excellent cocktails and rum punch! Highly recommended: the rental of deck chairs by the friendly, attentive Trevor (on the beach to the left of the Spice and Craft Market and just before the Radisson Hotel). He also offers a drinks service with the deck chairs. Addendum: And yes, you will be approached by salespeople or waiters from the stalls. But everyone is friendly, never pushy. If you don't want something, you can just say no and it's fine. Sometimes nice conversations still arise.
Susanne S — Google review
I was not that impressed, the area was clean and safe feeling but there were only a handful of vendors with little merchandise.. There is several food vendors there offing snack food and beverages but over all if your near by and have the time stop in otherwise don’t make a special trip. FYI There is a pay restroom just down the beach at a public park .. if your on foot and in this area I would recommend the Spiceland Mall near by ..

0 stars! After our tour of the underwater museum we decided to shower and browse the spice market where we were met with a hostile attitude from one of the women in the markets making homophobic slurs against us for no reasons. We felt unsafe and left immediately. Defintely would not recommend visiting. This put a damper on the rest of our trip as we always felt the need to look over our shoulders.
Armannie 8 — Google review
Great for local presents, spices, etc, but go when a cruise ship is in, as more vendors. Do not be put off by them trying to get you to look, vendors happy to just show you what they have with no pressure to buy.
K T — Google review
OK place. Several small stalls for souvenirs or clothing. A food / drink quarter to for tasting authentic Grenada cuisine. Note to wise, the food area likes very loud music. If this is not your bag then don't go there. Do try oil down... Quite tasty!

Great little find on the beach. Welcome respite from the beach. Great food. Great beer. Would visit again.
Chris T — Google review
Great beach with waiter service for food and drinks + free WiFi. Get the water taxi from St George’s. Fully recommended

Super popular market on the beach north end. A few food choices and many drink choices are offered here. Some local vendors sell spices and jewelry. This was my go to restaurant location for local food when I stayed.

Fortress
Sights & Landmarks

Nestled atop a steep hill, Fort George stands as a testament to Grenada's rich history and stunning vistas. This 18th-century French fortress, established in 1705, offers visitors an exhilarating climb rewarded with breathtaking views of the harbor and the vibrant city of St. George's below. The fort has undergone various transformations over the years; it was renamed after King George III following England’s acquisition of Grenada in 1763 through the Treaty of Paris.
The Fort itself is closed for repairs but the observation deck is still available. Great views of the city. There is a police station on property. Bathroom facility as well.
Shawn M — Google review
Views are great but very little guidance on the area. The majority of the Fort appears to be blocked off for construction so limited access in front of the police headquarters. Good view over the bay. Worth a visit if you are nearby but not necessarily worth its own trip to it.
Chris O — Google review
It is a historical place, which provides extensive information on the emergence, development, culture and customs of the Caribbean island of Grenada. It has beautiful views of the center of the capital and its surroundings. It also provides a very beautiful panorama for taking beautiful selfies and panoramic style photos.

Steep climb. EC $5.35 Entrance Fee. No history provided. Place is currently also the police HQ. Has a Great view. See a bird's eye view of the whole town. I was the only tourist when I visited. In a state of disrepair but the views made up for it.
Siddharth W — Google review
The views from the fort were great. There isn't a ton of information about the fort as you enter (it is a small fee to enter) and the place is a bit of a mess, but the views and walk through were enjoyable regardless.
Erin B — Google review
A historical site with a dark past, Fort George had the scenery I was looking for. You can see all of the capital, St. George as well as, the ocean front vividly. I loved it! I was able to get some really nice shots with my family. It costed me US$2 per person to visit and it was worth it.
Liz C — Google review
It's a pretty great place to self-explore! I didn't get the guided tour so I dont know what everything meant. I was too chicken to go down the dark drippy tunnel so I hope you have more guts than me. Might find a dungeon or 2 idk. The views just can't be beat tho! Literally you do not have eyes big enough to take it all in. Bring your best camera when you come here! Also a piece of advice: PUT ON SUNSCREEN! Like, BATHE in sunscreen! You're gonna be outside the entire time and you will burn or tan no matter how little time you spend! Keep in mind that these are working barracks, so you can't go into EVERY corner but you really don't see much of the people working there and it's pretty easy to tell where you can and can't go.
ShivniD — Google review
Beautiful old history. I only wish they could fix it up a bit more. A suggestion would be guided tours, telescopes and a place for food and drinks. A little bit of investment and some tlc and you will have a real magnet for tourists.

Really delicious local cuisine in an inviting, intimate ambiance. The staff are very professional and pleasant and there is little wait for meals. The owners are always present, making regular checks on the diners, ensuring their comfort which adds to your dining experience. There is a choice of indoor and outdoor dining. It is children and family friendly; and a great location for group and couple dinners. If you are hungry and in the Grand Anse area, please stop by this lovely restaurant. You will not regret it.

I went here twice. Both times our waitress was nice and polite. The area was clean. I just wasn't a big fan of the menu. There was nothing on the menu that stood out and I wanted to try. I did settle on a bbq chicken lunch special one day. It was good.

Terrible experience... Ordered food there worth $240. Everything but the fries was terrible. The veggie burger had so much pepper had to be tossed. They need a new chef here stat... Will never go to that place again. Sad thing is I've been here before and the food was really... Staff was underwhelming and low energy except for the barrista... She was friendly and amicable!!!

This a wonderful little restaurant to visit ,I know the owner, we worked together at a different location for many years , before he decided to move on to his own endeavor. I am not being partial here but the food is amazing great seafood ,but service can be improved a bit ,but this is a must visit you wouldn't be disappointed. Please try the crabbacks it's out of this world and a staple of our country.

Japanese restaurant
Carib Sushi, located in Grenada's Le Marquis Complex near Grand Anse Beach, is a must-visit for sushi enthusiasts. This award-winning restaurant offers over 100 dishes, including options for vegetarians and meat lovers. The menu features a unique blend of Japanese cuisine with a Caribbean twist, showcasing an abundance of local fresh fish like Yellow fin Tuna, Lobster, and Conch.
We've had mixed experiences with our dining out in Grenada, but this was one of the better ones. Great food, prepared by Japanese sushi chefs, was the highlight. Service was pleasant if a bit disorganized, and the space both indoors and out was crowded. We would go back again.
Jeff G — Google review
Sooo. I don't eat sushi, but i will take my daughter as she does. She loves it and now, much to her great happiness and sadness she has eaten at Carib Sushi. She is happy as it is the best sushi she has ever had. And sad as now no other sushi will live up to her time at Sushi Carib and all others will be judged against it. She had the Dragon Roll and the presentation was immaculate and the flavor divine. And yes, she has had sushi in Japan

Even though we were inside it was a great evening. Food was served quickly and by one of the excellent staff none Rhonda. A bit of a mix up with our first drinks order but it wasn't a big thing. What was a big thing and that was the food. It was fresh tasty and served quickly and as I've eaten sushi across the world including Japan I can say that Carib Sushi is definitely one of the best. Great staff great food and definitely book so you can sit outside even though the inside has it appeal. Oh the Gyoza (pork) warrant a special mention as they were excellent and the best I've ever eaten.

Absolutely lovely place to eat sushi! We were hot and hungry and were welcomed with smiles and cool AC. We had incredibly fresh sashimi and two beautiful sushi rolls. We left happy with full bellies. I had wanted to try everything! It is quite an extensive menu. They have an outdoor seating area that looks like it could accommodate quite a crowd. A separate room for the hibachi seating. I can see us returning to come back in the cooler weather to enjoy the patio and also make a reservation for hibachi. A bonus is that it is walking distance to the IGA!
Dawn M — Google review
The chefs & food are amazing. The sushi is so fresh & delicious, if you're a sushi lover this is your place. The only problem we had was a waitress with short hair who was aggressively asking us if we were leaving a tip before we paid, after we paid she stood over us & watched us as we got money for a tip. It was one if the most awkward encounters ever! Very aggressive, we felt under duress (we would have tipped regardless) but this made us feel super uncomfortable. As I said amazing food just a shame about this service.

Coconut Beach Restaurant & Bar is a charming spot located at the northern end of Grand Anse Beach in St. George's Town, Grenada. The restaurant offers a delightful blend of French-Creole cuisine served in a relaxed Caribbean setting. Guests can savor local seafood infused with butter, wine, and Grenadian spices while enjoying the picturesque beachfront view from thatched cabanas.
Since 2015, the Coconut Beach Restaurant and Bar is our go-to lunch place at the Grand Anse. The location and views are superb, the staff is super friendly and the food is consistently good. We are happy to see the very same waitresses year after year. Awesome Catch of the Day, super fresh every time. We spent a week at the Grand Anse in early March this year and walked to the Coconut Beach several times for lunch. My husband had the Lobster Thermidor and I opted for a fresh salad and plantain chips. On other occasion we had the fresh Catch of the Day and Gluten Free Mango Wrap with Chicken. It is so awesome that they carry gluten free items on their menu! Of course we feed the dogs every time 😊 Cannot wait to return next year.

Enjoyed the $1EC chicken wings on Thursday night. Sadly they had no lobster available. This place became very busy when the skilled DJ started up around 7:00 PM, good mix of music. The sauce on the wings was nice, pretty sweet and sloppy, though not spicy as requested. Our server advised us the wings would take a long time to arrive (even though the place was only half full at that time, maybe attempting to steer us away from the nice deal that everyone was enjoying or maybe not that at all), anyways he was accurate, it took about 30 minutes or so for the wings to arrive. Also had their grilled fish of the day (tuna), which was fresh and prepared nicely, our side was scalloped potatoes which were nice, a little bit dry but nicely a bit cheesy. The drinks were okay, nothing remarkable, had their house special drink which was a bit like a Pina Colada. Server was nice and checked in on us adequately. Seemed to be a good mix of locals and tourists and younger and older here, people enjoying themselves but not wild, nor too loud. Informal and pleasant beach setting. Happy we stopped by.

Beautiful location on the beach but a bit tricky to get to by car. Service was slow which tends to be the norm, and it didn’t help that there was a very loud gentleman at the table next to us 😆 That being said, the food was delicious, the drinks were strong, and the view is amazing. Just be sure to put on lots of bug spray as this is an open air restaurant.

Victory Bar and Restaurant is a popular spot for boaters, businesspeople, and vacationers seeking delicious food in a waterfront setting near town. 2 very different experiences in the same day. We went to Victory for breakfast this morning. The waitress was friendly & attentive. Our food @ drink orders were taken in a timely manner and delivered promptly. We enjoyed it so much we made a reservation for dinner tonight at 5pm. Huge mistake! DO NOT RECOMMEND! Arrived just before 5. 1 waitress was at the bar sorting cutlery. No host. She did not make eye contact or any effort at all to seat us. She then went to 4 tables of 10 that were being preset for some type of function. By this time 10 mins had passed and were still standing at the door. My husband then went to the bar to try to find someone. Another waitress came (begrudgingly) and flicked through the reservation book. It was obvious she didn’t want to seat us. After a few more minutes and eye rolling she grabbed 2 menus and gave us a table (in an empty restaurant). We asked her what drinks were included in happy hour, she didn’t know and had to go and ask behind the bar. The next hour proceeded with us mostly being ignored. 1 other table of 4 had arrived. There were 4 waitresses working but we were invisible. Ending up going up to the bar to order drinks, which were then left on the bar for us to collect ourselves. We saw the group booking arriving and quickly prefer our meals as we were expecting to receive NO service once they were seated. We asked the waitress with the pink hair for the drinks menu. She actually rolled her eyes at us! The whole time we were there we were made to feel like a huge inconvenience. Our pizza arrived and was really good. Was it worth the price if suffering through such hostile & unfriendly service? No, not at all. We went to the bar to get our bill and they had automatically added the tip. I questioned this as the menu states it’s not added and at our discretion. Our discretion was telling these 4 surly girls need to learn how to work in the customer service industry or change jobs! New bill was printed without the tip added.

Great choices of small plates and appetizers. The drink list is extensive with reasonable prices. Calamari and lambie cerviche are excellent. The nachos are made with cheddar cheese which is inappropriate for nachos. The "vegetables" on the nachos are shredded carrots and cabbage. There is an extra cost to add a nacho essential as jalapeño peppers! Customer service is mediocre: nothing outstanding, barely attentive staff who do not follow-up on tables, do not clear off dishes, or de-clutter the tables. Drinks are served without coasters on wooden tables, leaving wet, messy puddles on the table. There seems to be two resident house cats that are allowed to fraternize with, and bother the patrons. The cats go from table to table, scratching and licking themselves, rubbing against patrons' feet, begging. No one attempts to control or prohibit these cats from infringing on the patrons' quiet enjoyment. This is rather unprofessional, inconsiderate, and most likely a violation of health and safety code, standards and protocol. Besides, many people are allergic to cats. These cats are ostensibly outdoor cats also, potentially carrying in contaminants and fungi into the restaurant. This is an absolute turn off to be dining while being harassed, intruded upon and bullied by entitled cats. Urgh!

Victory bar and restaurant is set in the picturesque St.George's Harbour. On any table you get amazing views/scenery. The food and beverage however has some fine tuning that needs to be done. On a weekday afternoon, it took about 30 mins for the appetizer; do not order the cheeseburger samosa; unpalatable, and it close to 45 for the main on a day when only 2 tables were occupied in the restaurant. The meat (main course) was quite chewy that I couldn't finish my meal. However, my friend said the chicken Alfredo was amazing! The strawberry margarita tasted as though the tequila was added after blending or maybe it was just cheap tequila. So we eventually switched to wine.

We stopped by here before leaving St George to return to Grand Anse, for lunch. I was excited to try the conch ceviche, we got shrimp and callaloo, calamari, and a med salad. The conch ceviche was bland, but fresh, they just didn’t have any lime in it which maybe a different style to how they do ceviche. I asked for lemon to go with our calamari but they didn’t have that. The calamari was thick which is fine but heavily breaded and I would’ve like having marinara to go with it, but they didn’t have that either. The shrimp callaloo was good with their cole slaw, the med salad was delicious with passion fruit vinaigrette. The place is really pretty because there are boats nearby in the harbor and it had great landscaping in the vicinity. It was a so so experience.

I really enjoyed my time there. I chose there to celebrate my birthday. The staff was friendly and made sure i was taken care of. The food was good too. I had jerk chicken breast. I had jerk in Jamaica before so I honestly didn't expect it to be as good as the one I had in Jamaica. I honestly recommend here for anyone who is celebrating any occasion.

Victory Bar and Restaurant is a great place, a warm and friendly environment, that's excellent for family and friends hangouts with good food and relaxation while listening to light music, and at night's live entertainment. Take in the fresh air and the open view that allows you to enjoy the surroundings while quenching your appetite with the taste if Victory.

Pleasant friendly staff welcomed us to this relaxed open air restaurant. Packed on a Saturday night, with live music. Reservations would have been a good idea, but they eventually found us a table. The fresh juice that evening was mango, which blended well with rum. Food was tasty.

Dodgy Dock Restaurant in Grenada is a casual yet stylish spot located at True Blue Bay Hotel. It's known for its unique gin on tap and diverse street food offerings, especially on Wednesday nights when live music creates a bustling atmosphere. The open-air venue attracts a wide range of people and hosts various events, cultural showcases, and local music performances.
Amazing! Lovely authentic foods, live music and venue. You buy tickets then use them for the food you want.

Overall, very good, especially the staff and service. Restaurant hours were great, but could use more menu variety. Island prices, but lunch and the bar are quite reasonable. Several other options for meals are within walking distance. St George University is nearby. I love the included breakfast. But I would like an all- inclusive package. The dive shop is great. The dive masters are some of the best I've seen. Very safe.

First off, the atmosphere here is dope — chill vibes, nice people, great music. But everything else? Straight whack. I’m in Grenada right now at Dodgy Docks and the food was cold, bland, and way overpriced. That little ticket setup they do is a scam — I dropped $40 on 20 tickets just to end up with one plate of cold food. How you serving ice-cold samosas though? That’s one of my favorite foods and it was ruined. Chicken cold, rice cold, oxtails tiny and cold too — everything just off. I went to St. Lucia and spent $20 at a street spot and got hot food, lobster, drinks, the whole deal — and it was actually good. Don’t waste your money on them chits/tickets. You can always just reserve a table, enjoy the live music and drinks instead. Even the card machine slow — took almost 10 minutes to run a payment. Atmosphere and staff? A1 great love you all Food and prices? Garbage hated it

Food was generally quite nice and well prepared. Lovely friendly staff. Nice calm and welcoming atmosphere. Drinks were good and reasonably priced for a hotel bar. All good generally and would definitely visit again. I stayed in Grenada for a week and was happy with the offerings they had at the bar and on their themed nights. I particularly enjoyed the “Street Food” event which took place on the Wednesday.

First off let me start by saying i love to experience local food on any trip i do. I make it a priority to visit and have local food. Now thats been said, this is probably my worse culinary experience ive had in all of Grenada. Lets start with the pricing: you have to buy chits that your purchase food with, the chits are non refunadable which they do let you know upfront. The food is extremely expensive for what it is. Its sold as a portion and for what you get, you can have cheaper food in proper fine dining restuarants. To compare prices, ive spend less money on Paradise beach in Carriacou for 2 than i did for 1 person here. Now lets talk about the taste of the food: id give it 1 star. Despite the food being in food warmers, it was very cold. How can you serve cold samosas? A samosa should be hot! Same for roti! The chicken i had which sounded much more exciting than it actually was (nutmeg bbq chicken) was over cooked and exactly dry! Combining both the taste and the price, i would most certainly not revisit. Now, lets talk about service. Everywhere and i meam everywhere i visited in Grenada i had exceptional service except for dodgydock. I get it, at times establishments are busy but i was treated terribly by the wait staff. She literally yelled at me for sitting on a reserved table and came towards me to move and began yelling. I did inform her i did have a reservation and she asked me to find my name on my table and sit there. Terrible service. Parking: our reservation was for 8pm, however we arrived at 715pm and the car park was extremely full. Please note that parking is limited so you would most likely you will have to park on the street and walk.² Please also note this event is popular so its usually very crowded. Would i revisit/ recommend? Defintely not!

Dodgy Dock where do I start easy to find u get the feeling when you get there nice energy and atmosphere with a great live band playing getting food is a bit awkward to be honest no cash or card is used directly u have to purchase tickets to acquire food they will take cash at the bar but not for food u have look what for what find out how many tickets u need then que up and purchase tickets then que up and get your food if there is still enough there like I said awkward. The location is nice once you can find a table then you can settle down and listen to the band which was nice. The food wasn't special I had escovich fish which is supposed to be spicy but it was very bland but edible and a lamb curry which tasted very sweet but was just ok. Had a decent time and after the band finished a dj came on and spun some music so u could party on so overall it's a decent night out for a Wednesday evening thumbs up food needs to improve oh make sure you buy just enough tickets as if you buy too many u cannot exchange your tickets back for your money which was a little bit disappointing.

This review is a one star strictly because of the service I had when I recently went. I have been here before and had a great time. The service, food, atmosphere, all 10/10. But this visit was very different, purely because of Akim, our waiter. We were seated quickly as it was a quiet night, given water and menus, and then left for about 20–30 minutes with no follow up. Akim eventually came to take our order, which went fine. The food took about 30 minutes to arrive (not his fault, and not a big deal). However, when I asked a question about a drink, I received a surprisingly rude and snarky response. After our food and drinks were served, we were never checked on to see if we needed anything else. Once we finished eating, we waited about 15 minutes for the check before going up to him to request it, which still took another 10 minutes to receive. All in all, the food is great, and I’m sure the service is usually much better on other nights. But this experience with Akim was disappointing. He was inattentive, unhelpful, and lacked the courtesy expected in good service.

Absolutely loved the Wednesday street food night. Tasty food, good vibes and great music. My 8year old enjoyed it so much that we couldn’t get her to leave! Definitely recommend for all the family. Also had dinner here on arrival from the airport. Super friendly staff and tasty chickpea curry.

St. George's university is a great institution. The beautiful campus, diversity of students, faculty and hard working staff, make this university one of the best in the region and the world. The campus is well maintained from structure to landscapes. It's beautiful to behold. There are state of the art science labs, lecture halls, dorms and sporting facilities to help you temporarily divert from the stress of study. You can't go wrong with St. George's University. I gave it 4 stars before, because I thought more can be done locally, but after really thinking it through, there is evidence to prove that a lot is being done...It's a place to visit and a good choice if you are thinking of doing medicine, undergrad or even MBA.

Good University to enable students pass their USMLE and enable instructors advance to their clinical careers by providing a nice, reading and studying environment while they teach/instruct medical students. Also a good university for recent medical graduates (Doctors) to do a clinical instructor program and teach medical students. There is also an opportunity for them to engage in some post-graduate programs while working. Downsides: Academic Career growth for Doctors (Clinical Instructors) to advance through the ranks is not really diverse and automatic. Hence, best advice is for them to finish their board exams (USMLE/MCC/PLABs) and return to clinical practice. For those interested in Academics, get a Master's Degree/PHD and seek Academic opportunities in USA/Canada.

West Indies Beer Company is located in Lanse Aux Epines, Grenada, and offers a wide selection of 15 beers and four ciders on tap. The brewery provides a refreshing alternative to the local rum with its variety of IPAs, wheat beers, porters, lagers, and ales. The large indoor bar features entertainment options like dartboards and pool tables while the outdoor patio offers shade and a competitive ring toss game.
I love this place. Ginger beer is top notch. So are the ales and the porter. But it's more than the beer. The food is good and the staff welcoming. It feels like a third place even for travelers like us. It's also a great place if you need to come work a little during the day. If you're anywhere in St Georges it's worth a visit.

Decent venue with a quality control issue. Wide range of beers suggests they are having a decent crack but three beers were off/infected. Barman didn’t seem to care. Fortunately an employee came over to hear my concerns. English style beers were decent. My mate enjoyed the ginger beer though I thought it tasted ‘packet made’. Good range of food and nice vibe with music videos. Hope they can fix their problems and educate staff.

Great place to grab a traditional English or American breakfast from 8Am-3-Pm! Endless Mimosas (for 3 hours) for $75EC includes coffee and a small breakfast sandy. Damien, Avalon and Christian (the bartenders) will take good care of you on the drinks side as well.

This is an excellent place to relax and enjoy some delicious local brews. You can sample the beer or cider before ordering a glass. The prices are very reasonable, with beer and cider costing EC$10 and cocktails priced at EC$20. Service was fast and friendly. The brewery is spacious, offering both indoor and outdoor seating options. They also offer tours, although we only visited in the evening to enjoy some beer. The wifi is good, and there are plenty of charging outlets available. The seating is also comfortable, making it a great spot to hang out if you have an early flight.

The best burgers in the Caribbean. I've spent 4 years cruising the Caribbean and still struggle to find anything that comes close to the value and atmosphere of this place. It's obviously no hidden secret as it's packed a lot of the time. Service is as good as it gets in the Caribbean, the value for money is excellent and the owner operator is a legend that everyone respect's. I don't really drink beer or cider and I still love this venue so much I changed anchorage so I could walk there. The only downside is the felt on the pool table that is free to play, is loose. And I'll probably fix that myself next time I'm in to show my appreciation. Congratulations to the owner and all the bar and kitchen staff, it's the people that make the place and you're all a legend in my opinion. Respectfully Australian Brad.

What a nice find to get a break from the light lagers of the Caribbean!! I enjoyed the IPA and my wife the selection of ciders. The beers are good but when I was there, there was a noticeable lack of carbonation across the board. That aside, well worth the visit. Food was decent also.

The House of Chocolate Grenada Museum, located on Young Street, offers a unique experience for chocolate enthusiasts. This small but charming museum provides insight into the production process of chocolate, from cocoa bean to chocolate bar. Visitors can learn about the history of cocoa and its manufacturing while enjoying delicious chocolate treats at the on-site cafe. The museum also features a boutique with various items made with cocoa in Grenada.
Beautiful experience with amazing guide. Drinks and food are not expensive. They treated us really nicely and gave us an amazing presentation and showed us everything and gave us samples to try from beans to the chocolate. 🍫 I absolutely recommend. There’s a place to take a seat and chill, it was not too busy. Loved this place and experience, can’t wait to do it again 🥳🥳🥳 a special shout out to the guy who did our chocolate presentation!!

House of Chocolate is truly a unique experience nestled in St. George's. The soursop ice cream is simply divine. The avocado ice cream was smooth. The kids loved the chocolate ice cream. The ambiance is welcoming and you are sure to leave more knowledgeable than when you first arrived. The staff is helpful and will greet you with a smile. So many items to choose from so that there is something for everyone. Its a great family friendly stop where you can support local entrepreneurs by purchasing their goods at reasonable prices. Its always worth a repeat visit.

Ok. Maybe I was expecting too much and did not appreciate that this is just a chocolate shop with a bit of history thrown in! When we visited the small shop, there was obviously some sort of talk going on and you could not really move around very easily. Bit of a shame as we made a special trip. But like I said, maybe expecting too much (disclaimer, we had been on St Lucia and visited their Hotel Chocolate place so maybe that skewed our expectations!).

Great experience! Can learn how chocolate is made and the process of making the cocoa nibs. Educational but not boring at the same time. Baked items are extremely delicious amd reasonably priced. The nutmeg ice cream is so good we are still dreaming of it and even contemplated revisiting just for it! A must visit. Only downside: because of the location, parking is difficult

This is not a full tour. It's a chocolate store but you get a really good, free mini tour. Our 'tour guide' James was amazing- informative and funny. Parking isn't ideal. They have WiFi on location and accept cash and card. There's a good variety of chocolates, souvenirs as well as pastries and ice cream.

The Junction Bar And Grill, located in Lance Aux Epines, is a popular spot known for its cold beers, custom-built burgers, and lively atmosphere. The place comes alive with events like open mic and karaoke on Wednesdays, Latin Night with free dance lessons on Thursdays, and DJ sets on Fridays and Saturdays. It's a favorite among college students and offers Grenadian and Mexican-inspired cuisine along with live music during the weekends.
I didn't realise this was a restaurant during the day so I can't comment on the food but the vibe on a Friday night for clubbing is 8/10 depending on the DJ (lol) a nice mix of reggae, rnb, rave groove and whatever else the DJ decides to play. Great atmosphere and just all round good vibes with good people.

This place has resurected since the hit of the pandemic. You can book a table in advance, if not you may be lucky to be seated but not guaranteed best sitting. Food and drinks options not limited but according to your preference you may rate lower. Floor staff was very hospitable but terrible experience with a female bartender some Shadi something. She needs to be trained properly on etiquette and customer service. Beautiful lady but her facial expressions and tone was very displeasing. I know I can't compare the US and UK to small island Grenada but we expected better based on the country's known reputation. Despite this, my friends and I had a great time. The young man they had as Dj was horrible at mixing, the older man later the night was a pro and superb at it. It's crowdy Friday nights especially from midnight. If you prefer aerated environment then between 8 and 9 P.M will be your best bet.

Bingo night is a big thing here at Junction where locals come out to drink, party, eat and win prizes. I came for the food and vibe. The place is spacious and has a good size bar if you’re a bar person like me. I Ordered the grilled tuna which came with rice and peas and sautéed veggies. I expected a larger portion of tuna for the price paid. I must admit that the tuna was well prepared and pleasing to my palate. As usual, I washed my meal down with a double shot of Jack Daniels and a splash of ginger ale. If bingo is not your thing, avoid Tuesday night and I can imagine that the vibe there on other nights are just as great and entertaining.

It was our first night on the Island and we had a fantastic dinner and so far the best rum punch but one thing I would say is the music is SOOOOO LOUD that you can't hear each other talk or even yourself. The music is good but entirely too loud!! Not sure we would go back and that is a shame.

True Blue Bay Boutique Resort is a vibrant and eco-friendly retreat that offers island-chic accommodations with bay-view terraces, perfect for families. The resort features children's play areas, water sports, and a colorful pool area with a slide. Grown-ups can unwind at the spa or enjoy yoga classes while sipping cocktails. Guests can also enjoy free breakfast and take advantage of the beach shuttle service.
We stayed at True Blue Bay for a four days and we had the most amazing time. They have a shuttle that leaves for Grand Anse daily and the Wednesday nigh food event is absolutely brilliant. The rooms are spacious and the AC does keep you cool the entire time. It is well located and I felt safe in the area it was located at. I really enjoyed it there.

We recently stayed at True Blue Bay Hotel and had a mostly wonderful experience. **Pros:** - **Friendly Staff**: From the moment we arrived, the warm and friendly staff welcomed us at the airport and made us feel at home. - **Relaxed Atmosphere**: The hotel has a nice, relaxed atmosphere that was perfect for unwinding. - **Spacious Villa**: Our villa was incredibly spacious, providing plenty of room for our family to spread out and enjoy our stay. - **Kid-Friendly Pool**: The pool area was fantastic for our kids, who loved spending time splashing around. **Cons:** - **Evening Restaurant Service**: Unfortunately, our experience with the restaurant staff during evening dinners was not great. The service was slow, and the staff seemed not very service-minded. The food took forever to arrive, which was disappointing. - **High Prices**: As expected in Grenada, the prices for accommodation and food and beverages were quite high. This seems to be a common issue across the island. Overall, our stay was enjoyable, thanks to the friendly and accommodating staff and the lovely hotel amenities. We hope that the restaurant service will improve in the future.

Staying at True Blue Bay Resort was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed not just as guests—but as extended family. The vibrant colors, eco-conscious design, and breezy Caribbean charm made every corner of the resort feel alive with soul and intention. What truly sets True Blue Bay apart, though, are its owners—Russ and Magdalena. Their warmth, presence, and commitment to the community are woven into every part of the experience. You can feel their care in the details: the locally sourced meals, the sustainability efforts, the smiling team that treats you like more than a booking. The rooms are stunning—bright, spacious, and thoughtfully curated with island-inspired art and natural textures. The pools are pristine, the yoga deck overlooks the bay, and the on-site dive center makes exploring Grenada’s waters effortless and exhilarating. But above all, it’s the energy of the place—uplifting, welcoming, and deeply human—that makes True Blue Bay Resort unforgettable. It’s not just a resort; it’s a homegrown gem that reminds you of what travel should feel like: authentic, joyful, and full of heart. Five stars is not enough. Can’t wait to return.

The supervisor came to our home didnt seem to plesent we were then refunded for the sandwiches the housekeeper lady was not plesent at all she wanted me to go for all the towels from in the bathroom that were dirty ... which i think thats her job not mines im here on holiday not to work.... the lovely supervisor who does the hour free rum punch with cake etc cant remember her name she is wonderful yall should promote her to the manager ... i think so of the staff needs customer serivce training .. especially in the industry you should always be customer friendly . Thanks to Renee for making sure my food orders where done correctly . Sad to say i will never return to true blue after this terrible experience & not a manager / supervisor seemed to cared !

I liked this place better before. I stayed here end of June. I was unlucky to miss my flight, contacted the hotel to see if I would be able to push my stay for 1 day later. The new management said no, so I lost a night. I would have stayed 3 more nights but went elsewhere. I like the breakfast. Wish they had more local options. On Caribbean vacation I don’t want the usual pancakes. Ms Ester made bakes one morning and it was truly the best breakfast.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to after my experience at True Blue Bay Resort in Grenada. I arrived ahead of my husband and kids for my sister’s wedding and chose this resort because of its location close to her home. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome. Without hesitation, they gave me a tour of the property, and I immediately decided to book my stay. The booking process was quick and easy, and it set the tone for everything that followed. The girls at the front desk were absolute sweethearts! The room was clean, comfortable, and well kept. A bit on the older side but they’re working on it (renovations in progress on the property). Breakfast was included in our stay, and it was absolutely delicious every single morning. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every single person; from the front desk to the chefs, the bartender by the pool, and even the manager (I think), was warm, kind, and helpful. One of the highlights for my kids was when the manager personally helped them rescue a turtle that had flipped over on to its back. That small act speaks volumes about the care and attentiveness of the team. As someone from another Caribbean island with a strong accent, I’ve unfortunately experienced hospitality that felt less enthusiastic when compared to how tourists from larger countries are treated. But that was not the case at True Blue Bay. The staff treated every guest with equal kindness and attention. It was genuine and consistent and it made me feel completely at home. True Blue Bay Resort offers more than just beautiful views and good food, they offer heart, authenticity, and service that goes above and beyond. That kind of hospitality is rare and, in my opinion, worth more than any five star rating. Highly recommended. I’ll definitely be back.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience, look no further than Greek Kitchen! This charming eatery consistently impresses with its mouthwatering dishes and friendly service. Many patrons rave about their lamb wrap, which is a must-try, but don't overlook the equally delicious lamb plate. The pizza here is another highlight; it boasts a crispy crust loaded with generous toppings and cheese that will leave you craving more.
Ordered via KariBites. Got the food in under an hour staying in grand anse area. Pizza was delicious. A little salty but good. Bbq chicken platter was tasty as well.

Love this place!!! The food never disappoints. I almost always order a lamb wrap (amazing) but changed it up. today and got a lamb place (equally amazing)! Love the food, and the service is always really friendly!

Silversands Grenada

Resort hotel
Silversands Grenada is a luxurious beachside resort offering elegant rooms, suites, and villas. It stands out with its thermal spa and a 330-foot infinity pool, the longest in the Caribbean. The contemporary and chic design of the resort includes gourmet restaurants, a spa, fitness center, rum and cigar lounge, and stunning suites with floor-to-ceiling windows providing breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea.
Silversands has been on my wishlist for years and I finally treated myself to a relaxing solo trip there last week. I don't even exaggerate when I say I didn't leave the resort once I stepped on. It was quiet and of course right on their private beach. The staff is attentive and friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurants was delicious. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It's exactly what I needed. I go back again and again!!
Daphney B — Google review
The property is gorgeous and truly amazing and breathtaking! Rooms are modern and beautifully designed. Sauna and Steam room are added bonus to the experience of the resort. The only aspect that fell short of a 5 star experience is the food. Not really up to a 5 star resort level. For the amount of money they charge on food, it is pretty disappointing! Breakfast is forgettable and not always fresh. Choices are limited too. Only two restaurant options on the entire resort.
Lintzi C — Google review
I was really impressed with Silversands — it’s an amazing hotel and incredibly accommodating. Yes, it’s on the expensive side, but I decided to treat myself to an overnight stay and make the most of the facilities. My booking included breakfast, but since I’d be leaving early the next morning, I asked if I could have breakfast on the day I arrived instead. The staff happily agreed. I also arrived well before the standard 3 PM check-in, and to my delight, they allowed me to check in before 11 AM. That was such a wonderful start to my stay. The hotel itself is modern, stylish, and offers breathtaking views. Spending the night there truly made me feel like a celebrity. While there was some minor wear — a damaged front panel outside the door and a few scratches on the floor — everything else was perfect. The staff were polite, professional, and eager to help, delivering a genuine 5-star experience. I could go into detail about my beautiful room and the view from the 100m infinity pool that seems to melt into the beach, but I don’t want to spoil the surprises that this wonderful hotel has to offer. Breakfast was also excellent — fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented.

Overall: Extremely nice landscaping and architecture. Excellent staff for the Caribbean but beware significant hidden fees. Overpriced to a fault, however that does bring a peaceful exclusivity. Rooms: No expense spared on furniture and the best bed ever. I stayed in a 4 room villa and thought the layout well thought out and useful. A private pool is cherry, however the beach is public and many will walk by as on lookers. The kitchen was not well appointed and missing many basic tools, like knives. Quiet and thick walls between rooms. Bathrooms: Water pressure is the best I’ve experienced. Spacious throughout with isolated toilet room. Bench for seating and a massive bathtub large enough for 4. Food: Great food throughout the property with a wide enough selection. Cost is to be expected but still shocking, 3 or 4 times more pricey than the nearby restaurants. Expect $50-100/head per meal. Service: Very friendly and trustworthy staff from check in to villa to onsite security. Dining staff were kinda and frequented the table. Kindness was lost upon checkout and dispute of unexpected charges.

My stay at Silversands was a mixed experience. It has the foundation of a 5 star resort but it fell short in some key areas, and if not for the issues I encountered I would be at 5 stars as well. First the good. The grounds and beach area are beautiful, clean and modern. The room exceeded my expectations and was nearly perfect. The beach attendants and staff at the Asian restaurant were friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately we had some issues. There was an electronic security panel right outside our room and one evening it started beeping very loudly. I called the front desk and they said they were working on it. It was so loud that it ruined our night and prevented us from being able to sleep, which in turn soured the next day. In the morning I asked again and was told it would be fixed that night. It was finally fixed around midnight that day. This essentially ruined one day of our experience. I was not surprised they had to call an engineer outside the hotel staff to fix but I was very surprised the woman at the front desk didn't seem to care that it happened. I was not offered a free night or anything else to make up for the day. In fact I didn't even get an apology from management. Literally any act of acknowledgement or concern would have bumped this to 4 stars. I've stayed in many resorts of this level and usually management deals with issues in a much better way. I fully explained the issue and lack of sleep but I didn't want to have to argue for anything. The food and service at the Asian restaurant were great. We experienced the opposite at the other lunch restaurant. We had asked before we booked if they could accommodate a vegan diet and they were very encouraging that they could and there were items on the menu already that worked. When we actually went to eat though the vegan item was not available even though it was still on the menu. The uninterested waitress said there was nothing to replace it but she gave us a very short list of options. We ended up getting the salad and a side of fries. Both were tiny and not good. The salad tasted undressed and was mostly lettuce. This took a really long time and they charged $85 USD. We didn't even get drinks. We immediately cancelled our dinner reservation after that so I can't speak for that menu. The beach was nice but we were unable to get a spot the first day as there were no chairs left. If you don't have problems this can be a 5 star experience easily but if you run into issues be prepared for them not to care.

We just returned from a week at this resort, and it was by far the best resort experience I’ve had in Grenada. Based on previous experiences at other resorts on the island, I was worried about rude staff ruining my stay, But ALL the team members I’ve encountered at Silversands were warm, friendly, attentive and engaging. We were celebrating our anniversary, and our awesome experience began BEFORE we arrived. The reservation process was seamless, and when we arrived, there were a bottle of champagne and chocolate in our room. What a nice touch!! Also, the resort is quite beautiful! The room was large, airy and sun-filled, with a view of the beach. The bathroom is large, and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. Can’t wait to return! The only negative is the food and drinks…which were expensive for their quality and quantity. There are better options within walking distance of the resort. Nevertheless, Silversands gets a 5 star because in a nutshell, it is an exceptional resort.

I would like to extend my deepest thanks to the entire Silversands team. On 9.6.2025, my now-fiancé proposed to me on the beach at Silversands, and it was truly the proposal of my dreams. The team went above and beyond, working closely with my fiancé to ensure every detail was perfect. From start to finish, they made this moment more magical than I could have ever imagined. We celebrated with a beautiful dinner alongside friends, enjoyed the beach and infinity pool, relaxed at the spa, and stayed in a stunning villa. Every aspect—from the food and drinks to the service, atmosphere, and accommodations—was exceptional. The staff worked tirelessly to create an experience we will cherish forever. I wholeheartedly recommend Silversands for proposals, weddings, honeymoons, special events, birthday's and vacations. Words cannot fully capture my gratitude—thank you for being such an important part of this once-in-a-lifetime moment.

Sails Restaurant & Bar is a popular dining spot located on the picturesque waters of one of Grenada's renowned harbors. The head chef is celebrated for crafting a diverse menu featuring international dishes with a Caribbean twist. From garlic shrimp skewers to flame-grilled lobster, the extensive menu offers an array of delectable options. Guests can savor their meals while taking in the stunning views and then explore the local shops and cafes around the harbor's edge.
The place is nicely located at the waterfront of the harbor and offers a spreading view till Grand Anse Beach. The friendly and helpful waitress explained the local specialties and recommended the Calypso Conch which was fantastic as it was the first time I ate it. I took the very delicious coconut shrimps as appetizer. The IPA from the tab is rich in taste. As dessert I chose espresso with a shot of local rum. Unfortunately my stomach could not take more of this first class food. All in all Sails was a very good experience and absolutely worth to join again. Thanks a lot to the entire staff.

Wonderful experience for dinner. We sat by the water and enjoyed a couple hours with 5 star meals clearly crafted by a chef, and not just a cook. Every item our table of 4 had could have been considered fine dining at any well known restaurant. Will 10/10 recommend eating here. So much that we have decided we will be back tomorrow for lunch!

We had a fantastic meal at Sails during our time in Grenada. The food was excellent—fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The standout dish for us was the seafood crepe, which was absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. Service was equally impressive. Our waitress was lovely—warm, attentive, and clearly well trained. She made us feel genuinely welcome and took great care of us throughout the meal. Overall, Sails delivered a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommend it if you’re in Grenada and looking for great food and service in a beautiful waterfront location.

Beautiful restaurant right at St George’s Harbour. One dish I can recommend everyone to try is the lobster. Can’t remember the exact name but it’s one of two lobster dishes and the other is a wrap/roll. A bit pricey but guaranteed to satisfy you. Similarly to almost anywhere in Grenada, servers and polite and attentive. A must visit if you’re in St George’s. Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays tend to be the busiest days.

BB's Crab Back is a waterfront restaurant in St. George's, Grenada, offering stunning views of the sea and Port Louis. Run by celebrity chef Brian Benjamin, it serves Caribbean and Grenadian specialties such as crab backs, curried goat, callaloo soup, pumpkin fritters, and vegetable curry. The informal spot with a breezy roof terrace is popular among tourists and locals alike for its signature dish - the crab back.
Wow, if I could add more stars I would! My absolute favorite place to eat on the entire island. We had the Fruit Punch, BB’s Crabback, the Signature Goat Curry, the Barracuda, the fried sweet potato, and the flaming banana dessert and not a single item disappointed. All were excellent dishes, but the barracuda, goat curry, and the Crabback really stood out to us. Phenomenal food, excellent service, beautiful location, and welcoming environment. I only wish we found it earlier on in our trip! We will definitely be back. Thank you BB and family!

Had a great meal at BBs - highly recommend the crab appetizer! We also got the goat curry and the ribs, both of which were great. After eating at various locations on the beach, it was great to eat Grenadian food. We didn’t get there in time to try the oil down - they had sold out so we have to go back again. Staff was nice and it was a great location on the water.

Great food in a wonderful city in a wonderful country! Fun music playing, great atmosphere from the funky painted walls to the bottles holding different colours on all the tables. The food is great! Super tasty jerk chicken with nice kick. Bonus for the view across the harbour. If you’re in St. Georges, you have to come here!

I had a wonderful time at the restaurant! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was unbeatable. The chicken lunch special was a perfect choice. The stewed chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the sides were all delicious. I especially enjoyed the plantain and the dasheen. The chicken was not spicy at all, which was perfect for me because I don't like spicy food. The service was attentive and friendly, despite being understaffed. Our server was happy to answer our questions about the menu and to let us know how long our food would take to arrive. The atmosphere was the perfect complement to the food. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the harbor, and we could see the fish swimming in the crystal clear Caribbean sea.😘 I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal and a relaxing atmosphere. I understand that the service was slow due to being understaffed, but I still had a great experience. I would definitely come back again.

Nice cozy place. Could do with a little ambiance music but nevertheless service was fast, beer cold and the signature dish of curried goat with rice was awesome. Also ordered some fried fruitbread which came with 2 really good sauces to dip. Portion was good and overall a great experience.

Mediocre at max. I expected a lot, took two dishes and both disappointed. Don’t expect much…. I know it’s a famous place but sorry now it’s overdue and overpriced. You can get much better in some more local place

BB’s Crabback was my favorite piece of Grenada. I'm extremely thankful to our driver for this recommendation. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to try Grenadian oil down for the first time. The callaloo soup & fried bake were incredible, we ordered a few more rounds to go. All of their items were fresh & delicious. As impressive as this place was, we had to return for our final dinner on the island. The man in charge understands quality of service & great flavor. If I ever visit Grenada again, it’ll be for BB’s Crabback.

This caribbean restaurant Patrick's Local Homestyle Cooking Restaurant has a wide variety of dishes to choose from, all made with fresh and quality ingredients. There's something for everyone on the menu, making it a great place to dine with friends. Plus, there are some vegan options available for those who prefer not to eat meat.
Came here twice in the 4 days I was on the island. The first time I visited, the restaurant was extremely busy so the owner/chef ask if it would be ok to come back in an hour. When I returned I had a delicious meal of rice & peas and several vegetable side dishes. I went back 2 days later to try the vegan oil down (which isn't a daily menu item) and I was surprised to find the restaurant empty. Again the food was tasty and there was a good portion size.

I was happy to eat at this restaurant. I've heard good reviews, but it was my first time eating there. The menu is a true reflection of Grenada's home style cooking. All in all quite good the Tapas is perfect for trying a lot of local dishes, and my favourite was actually the lime juice out of everything it was well balanced not too strong but not weak either. As per the island life expect slow service. We were the only people at 1pm and left around 3pm. This is normal, island life as told to you by a white guy.

Grill Master is a popular dining spot located near Spiceland Mall in Saint Georges, Grenada. It offers a great night dining atmosphere and specializes in Caribbean, Mediterranean, grilled, fried, and vegetarian cuisine. The restaurant uses a variety of local and Mediterranean seasonings in their dishes. They provide delivery service and take-away options for convenience. While the seafood selection may be limited, the establishment is known for its consistent quality food such as bakes with salt fish and creative pizzas.
Cute bistro restaurant on Grand Anse. We sat at a table and ordered. We enjoyed our meals and didn’t find it to be very expensive but from what I was told, there is an option to weigh your food as well. Our waitress was lovely and it was a nice relaxing break from the hot sun. If and when we’re in the area again, we’ll definitely go back.

Grill Master is located right in the middle of everything. The location really is perfect. They recently remodeled and the atmosphere looks great. But the service is a little slow so if you want to eat there be ready to waitttttt for your food. Once we got our food it really was pretty good. But what’s just too much for me to tolerate is the HEAT! It’s just too dog gone HOT in there! There are several fans throughout the dining area but they need more that some fans. Sorry Grill Master but the heat = a Hard NO

By far the best meal. First, I had breakfast and then took my mother and sister for dinner. They both loved it. My mom is a very harsh critic when it comes to food, and she loved every bit of it. Great service, great staff, great food. 5 stars all around...

1) The Mac n cheese you are seeing here is very crispy on the top layer, the inside is very moist with a dry cheesy taste . But just enough to get a cheesy taste without it over taking the noodles. It does have a dry appearance but don’t be afraid to try it. got a fresh batch that recently came out the kitchen. 2) The mashed potatoes cake is pretty good! So the top layer is a seasoned Parmesan cheese toasted layer giving it a great balance to the rest of the cake, the mashed potatoes is well made with small chunks included in the cake. (Recommend it) 3) Curry chicken- mixed feelings on this one, so it’s definitely has the flavor but it rest on the top layer of the whole chicken & doesnt penetrate into the chicken if that makes sense. (50/50-cold) 4) Curry Beef- it’s very well cooked, every bite is super moist & flaky. Gives me a pulled pork texture with a small hit of spice but the seasoning is well balanced. Would taste good on a wrap tortilla. 5)Rica juice- I picked orange juice & it’s very refreshing & pulp free (small) They charge by weight so a full plate with 2 sides & 2 meat (3-4pcs) options plus drink is gonna cost you $35-40EC TOO MANY FLIES, couldn’t really enjoy my meal as a New York tourist, as I kept getting my legs bitten during my stay.

I ordered the boneless chicken roti with pepper sauce on the side. It was a great portion- enough for two meals. Overall, I’d rate it a 8/10. The pepper sauce was really good and the perfect amount of spice for a spice lover. My order was prepared quickly as I got my food in under 10 mins.

They have a wide variety on their menu, which includes dishes they already have made and are served immediately. However, there are made-to-order items, like the stewed fish I had ordered ($20 EC). When I ordered they’d told me 15 minutes which I agreed to, yet after 20 minutes my order still wasn’t ready- like how long does it take to cook sliced fish? 🤦🏾‍♀️ At the 25 minute mark I went back to the cashier to ask for an update on the order because I was ready to get my money back! That’s when she asked another lady to check with the chef how much longer. After she checked I got my meal within a minute. 👀 Nevertheless, the dish was delicious but the wait time definitely turned me off. Also, it was more of a fried fish that was then put in gravy, not really stewed fish.

Absolutely perfect for lunch. We ordered a bunch of different options and everything was delicious. The service was quick and charming. The only concern is that the food was not hot when served. Delicious, but room temperature

Fort Frederick, a historical fort built by the French, sits atop Richmond Hill and offers breathtaking panoramic views of St. George's and the Caribbean Sea. The 800-foot-high perch provides stunning vistas of the Carenage, the harbor, and the surrounding mountains. With over 250 years of history, this fort is a significant part of Grenada's colonial past. Located next to Fort Mathew, it is an ideal spot for visitors seeking remarkable views over St. George's and beyond.
The oldest fort with its historical charm and stunning views is located in the heart of St. George. It offers an insight into history of the area. But it‘s the views of town and spectacular coastline that always steel the show.
Repi N — Google review
It's a small fort so there's not much to see. We didn't have a guide that had any history for us, which was disappointing. There are informational signs. The views from the top were some of the best we had while on the island.
Jonathen S — Google review
Well worth a visit for the views alone. We just drove in and parked. Lots of I formation points.
K T — Google review
Fort Frederick is a must-visit in Grenada! Stunning views of the entire island, kid-friendly, and even in the rain we saw the most beautiful rainbow. A truly unforgettable experience!
Monique D — Google review
It was cool to look out and imagine what the military saw in history as look at from the fort. The map showing all of the locations below on the island was a plus. Beware of the hungry cat that will follow you around LOL!
Tonia C — Google review
Interesting, yet after a brief visit, you're ready to go onward. The view from inside the fort yard facing the harbor is spectacular. Otherwise, it's quite spartan here

St. George's Market

Market
St. George's Market in Grenada offers a range of transportation options for getting around, such as taxis, rental cars, public buses, and water taxis. Taxis can be easily found and hailed on the street. If you prefer more independence, rental cars are available; however, it's important to note that driving is on the left side of the road, which may present a challenge for tourists.
Locally made beverages, spices, art and craft, jewellery etc! Worth visiting for souvenirs and gifts 💝
SnapNSpill — Google review
The market is chock full of spice vendors. There isn’t much else on sale except some jewelry and haberdashery. Vendors can be rude and upfront with customers. I saw a giant dead rat.

A lively Caribbean market filled with an array of spices, clothes, local produce and animated conversations 😀. A must visit for any tourist!!
Yaya M — Google review
Such fun, no pushy sellers, amazing array of spices, herbs and dried plants. Knowledgeable stall holders can tell you all about them, indeed they love a good chat!!
Linda S — Google review
We didn’t venture deep into the market but the vendors are very friendly and knowledgeable about the various spices. Highly recommended!!!

I was able to purchase all the spices I needed. The fresh water coconut was delish. Very friendly vendors. Hope next time I visit, I get mangoes

The Grenada National Museum offers a comprehensive look at the history, ethnography, and nature of Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique. Visitors can stroll around the horseshoe-shaped harbor to admire colorful fishing boats before delving into the museum's exhibits. From the original Amerindian inhabitants through the colonial era to independence and the 1970s socialist revolution, the museum covers a wide range of historical periods.
My friend and I enjoyed a nice visit at this museum. It was small but had clear displays that were very informative. The employees there were also very kind and helpful, and since there was no one else there, we wound up getting a private tour. It was either 5 or 10EC per person, I forgot.
Melissa B — Google review
Well thought out small museum with excellent knowledgeable staff.
K T — Google review
My visit today was absolutely amazing. I had the privilege of seeing Richardo Keens-Douglas’ exhibition Behind the Crown: Exploring the Cultural Impact of Grenada Carnival Queens (1945–1974), authored and researched by Richardo Keens-Douglas MBE and beautifully curated by Lornadale L. Charles. The exhibit was both deeply educational and emotionally moving. I also learned so much about Grenada’s rich and revolutionary history and spirit, about my ancestors, and the story of Rebecca Ahmuty Snagg. This will definitely be a regular part of my visits to Grenada going forward. A special thank you to Shamica Chitan and Tarvin Joseph for taking the time to share their knowledge and passion. I left feeling inspired, grounded, and proud.

Restaurant
61° West Restaurant + Beach bar is a charming beachfront spot nestled along the popular Grand Anse Beach. It offers a relaxed atmosphere with comfortable seating options, including beachside sofas and chaise lounges right on the sand. The bar serves up an array of signature cocktails, such as the refreshing Frose blush wine and strawberries blend, and the flavorful Sweetspot Blues mix.
We have been visiting the 61 West for over 7 years, and this March, during our one week stay we dined here 3 times!! In fact, the 61 West is one of our most favorite beach restaurants at Grand Anse. Service is very good, most waiters and waitresses are super nice. The amazing location/views, colorful lights, music and some days live music create a very nice ambiance. The food is consistently good, we are grateful that they carry so many gluten-free dishes. My most favorite food is the awesome Corn Soup w Chicken, I must eat this dish every time. My husband’s favorite is the Asian Glazed Pork Ribs, but he also had the Pork Belly Tostados and we also shared the House Hummus and Rum Raisin Ice cream. Cannot wait to return next year!
Beatrix K — Google review
Pork belly tostadas were delicious, we went back for them! Wings were good too, as was the mahi mahi. Very friendly people, and bartender Tim was great; try his tamarind margarita. The third time we went, there was a nice band.

Been to this restaurant on two occasions first in September 2024 and next in September 2025 Food was excellent, decent portion sizes and reasonable price point. I had the tuna poke bowl appetizer and lobster entree. Froze was well done also. On my second visit they closed at 8 pm due to some work being done on the main road so I couldn't have dinner there. I'd definitely advise reservations for dinner.
Aroona R — Google review
A great spot on the beach. A really nice vibe with excellent service and very good food. I have been here most nights so far since I have been staying a 10min walk from the hotel along the beach. I highly recommend this venue for sunset drinks and food. Unlike Umbrellas bar & bistro (where the service is DREADFUL) the service here is great.

The food is excellent. I had the fish tacos and they were cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is great. It's right on the beach with outdoor seating.

Went there for Dinner. Ordered mostly small bites and beverages. Food, Service and Atmosphere were excellent. Recommend to fellow travelers to the island.

Outdoor Activities
Grand Anse Beach is a 1.5-mile stretch of white sand, lined with sea grape trees and low-rise hotels, making it a popular spot for swimming and sunbathing. The beach gently slopes into calm waters, perfect for families with children to enjoy snorkeling among rainbow-hued fish. Visitors can also indulge in water sports like water skiing, parasailing, windsurfing, and scuba diving offered by beachfront concessions.
We stop of on our crusie in Grenada. Our last visit was 22 years ago for our honeymoon. My son was with us this time and I must say it has developed over the years. The water is salty and there is a dip so be very careful with the young ones. It's was ok for snorkeling but you have to go out in the deep but be careful because the small boat passes there as well. We walked from the port and took a local van which was not far from the port and is very easy. $2 US for 3 person one way, to return you can walk out to the main street and wait for the local vans that will take you back to town. There are washroom facilities available at $2 EC or $1 US. It's a long strip of beautiful white sand and blue waters. You can relax on the sand or rent a chair.
Sally — Google review
A really great beach to relax and enjoy the local vibes, nice and beautiful sand. You can get some shades from the trees, so you are going to be fine. Water is calm and soothing, very enjoyable. A great place to catch the sunset.

Grand Anse Beach Review: 4/5 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Grand Anse Beach in Grenada is undeniably beautiful! The clean water and soft sand make it a perfect spot for swimming, relaxing, and enjoying the natural beauty of the island. The water is crystal-clear, and there are plenty of chairs and umbrellas available for rent ($30 with WiFi included). However, I recommend skipping the water taxi. While it’s a popular choice at $15 per person round trip, it was overcrowded and felt unsafe. For just $10 more, a regular taxi is faster, more comfortable, and worth every penny. The reason I gave the beach 4 stars instead of 5 is due to some of the beach servers being a bit too persistent. Being asked repeatedly (over 20 times!) if I wanted a massage or to buy spices got a little tiring and detracted from the relaxing vibe. All in all, Grand Anse Beach is stunning and worth a visit, especially if you’re cruising into Grenada. Just come prepared for a little hustle and bustle along the shore! Stay tuned for my detailed review of the water taxi experience! #GrandAnseBeach #GrenadaTravel #BeachReview #CaribbeanAdventures #CruiseTips #BeachLife #TravelGrenada #JKCAdventures #IcedAdventures

We have been to T&C (best beach Taylor Bay),St Lucia (best beach Anse Chastanet) and Antigua (Pidgeon Beach if you had to push me!) and we think that Grand Anse is definitely at top of list for a number of reasons. We like a beach that is easy to access with a hire car, fairly quiet, good swimming, clean, and is nice to walk along. This beach ticks all those boxes. It is also so long that even on busy days (eg, cruise ship days), you can still find a quiet spot. We are really impressed how clean it is kept (the most rubbish we saw was after a cruise ship of English tourists - come on guys, letting the side down!). There are also some really good restaurants along the beach - Unbrellas and 61West are both fab. Love the fact you can just grab a Carib for same price as supermarket to drink on beach. No jet skis which was great - they ruined Taylor Bay for us. And everyone is so friendly- love the Grenadian people, they definitely make you feel at home. Had no worries walking the length of this beach at night. Cruise ship days we did tend to head elsewhere, just for the number of sunbeds that appear for passengers. The sand is super soft and a mix between white and black depending on which part of beach you are on. We did have a few vendors approach us but they were always respectful and once they had spoken to us did not approach again, just gave us a friendly wave.

Go to Grenada! This is one of the best and most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean! Clear, blue, calm, cool water! A joy to behold and enjoy it was nice and quiet with locals and tourists alike enjoying the views and refreshing waters. There is some public parking available as well as a beach side bar and small shops for refreshments, drinks, snacks and quick bites. Definitely visit if you are in Grenada!

This beach is absolutely stunning, phenomenal. It's a breath taking. I would highly recommend everyone around the world to visit this beautiful famous beach in Grenada. Apparently this is the most popular beach in Grenada. So if you were looking for calm and soothing then this is not the beach to visit. I love the vibe here tho. The music in the background and the people having fun gives real Caribbean mood. I went here for sunset and it looked amazing! My camera didn’t do it right 😅 but I recommend you to go and have a great time at Grand Anse.

Lovely old school plantation hotel. Spectacular views, with super attentive and friendly service. Our villa had a hot tub and infinity pool overlooking grand anse bay. The villa was super stylish but lovely and homely. Easy access to a huge and under used beach. Lots of fun local and 2 x hotel restaurants to choose from. Will be back.

We decided to have dinner on the beach at the Cinnamon Resort and here’s my take on our experience: the food was great! I had beef ribs & they were seasoned to perfection!! The service was excellent with the staff being so friendly & attentive. The live music was good. The band & the singer were good but I really wanted to hear songs that were more upbeat, something from the R&B playlist. Maybe a little Bobby Brown, TLC, Aretha Franklin… something like that would’ve set the party off right! Otherwise, we had a great time & I plan on going back(soon)

What an amazing vacation. We stayed in a beautiful spacious suite with a jaw dropping view of grand anse beach and all the way up to St. George’s. When we woke up everyday we went down to breakfast. The breakfast menu is fantastic, something for everyone, and everything we had was delicious. Daily specials of wonderful, authentic, Caribbean dishes I would have never tried otherwise. The service was also fantastic, everyone is so helpful and friendly. We’d go back to the room and get ready for the pool, most days we saw housekeeping and said hello. The pool is beautiful, secluded, so relaxing. Housekeeping did a wonderful job, our room was always clean. Typically after a morning swim we walked through the garden path that led down to the most beautiful beach I’ve ever been to. The cabana is the lunch spot on the beach. More amazing food. More amazing service. Grand Anse beach is second none, what a gem. The hotel had plenty of seating and chairs for guest, restrooms at the beach, towels at the beach. Afternoon drinks and snacks on the beach then back to the room to get ready for dinner. The restaurant for dinner is the best food I’ve had on the island. Everything I had was amazing. Grenada is a wonderful place. Everyone is friendly and considerate. The hotel did an amazing job. From the managers that talked with all the guest daily to make sure everything was perfect, to the wait staff, house keeping staff, the landscaping staff, the front desk, the kitchen, the guy that helps you cross the busy street, everyone, everyone was so friendly. We will be back without a doubt. Mt. Cinnamon, thank you for an amazing vacation.

I had the most wonderful stay at Mount Cinnamon Wellness Resort in Grenada! The staff truly exceeded expectations, crafting a tailored experience that left me feeling pampered and serene. I even managed to squeeze in a round of tennis, which was the perfect way to stay active amidst the tranquility. The culinary delights, stunning ambiance, and breathtaking views from my room were simply divine. What truly set this resort apart was the profound sense of serenity that enveloped me throughout my stay, and it being on Grand Anse Beach was a bonus. Luxury meets wellness in perfect harmony, with a beautiful Caribbean flair. Five stars isn't enough…I'd return in a heartbeat! -Crystal

Loved our stay in our 3 bedroom villa at Mt Cinnamon. We went in July so we felt like we had the place to ourselves. Rooms were large and clean with very comfortable beds. Staff was friendly, service was always good and food was delicious. Beach and cabana were the highlight for us. Hills can be challenging getting to rooms but they provide a shuttle any time you need it.

From the moment we arrived, the energy at Mount Cinnamon was pure Grenadian magic. The greeting at the door was everything—exciting, funny, and chill. It instantly set the tone for a stay filled with good vibes and even better hospitality. The owner and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. I want to give a special shoutout to Keisha, Cassie, and Rondell—they went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Every interaction felt genuine, warm, and accommodating. The food? Delicious. The atmosphere? Relaxed and joyful. Whether we were lounging by the beach, enjoying the shuttle rides around the property, or snapping pics with the iconic beach mirror and life-sized checkers board, there was always something to smile about. There were plenty of activities to enjoy—tennis, beach walks, and more. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind or stay active, depending on your mood. Mount Cinnamon truly delivered a beautiful blend of comfort, fun, and Caribbean charm. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable escape in Grenada. Thank you for the amazing experience—10/10! 🙌🏾🇬🇩

The beach is a quick walk and we also got to enjoy lunch at Savvy’s the beach bar. Bella Milano is a charming café known for its delicious breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and beverages. Visitors rave about the engaging and friendly staff, with one employee standing out for exceptional service. The cozy atmosphere and consistent quality of food make it a must-visit spot in the area. Guests particularly enjoy the fresh pastries, iced almond milk latte, and donuts.
PERFECT cappuccino, good pastries Mediocre service However I have a BIG problem with your answer to a review you made implying that you are forced by the Grenadian government to hire locals and so you cannot do much for local manners. We have noticed that Grenadian people are warm and service everywhere has been amazing. Perhaps YOU are the problem.

Wish we had found this place earlier! Great coffee and the almond brioche is lush! Getting up earlier today to make sure we get there before they sell out of anything!! Not the best location but if you love coffee and pastries this is the place to go!!

Had the pleasure of having breakfast here and it was absolutely delicious. There's a good selection of breakfast sandwiches, palatable pastries and beverages to choose from. (My toddler loved the chocolate donuts) The employee who took our order she was very engaging and friendly. The other staff present could of taken a page from her book. Nevertheless, i would definitely recommend and will be returning once I'm on the Island.

I was interested to see how bad the customer service actually is here judging by previous reviews, and I can now confirm, it really is terrible. The girls working there would literally rather be ANYWHERE else! When you enter, they look at you as much as to say ‘What the hell do you want?’ Same look when I tried to pay. To be honest, I was prepared for this and nearly found it comical how miserable they are! The iced latte was good. I hope the owner can find better staff.

Delicious, and FRESH pastries... refreshing and great tasting iced almond milk latte (espresso looked blonde/light, but lots of body). Got my donut fix in for the week. Great, quick service. Very clean establishment. Nice location. Nearly purchased one of everything, yum!
G J — Google review
The girl at the front desk was rude and didn’t have any manners, and it felt like she was being bothered or interrupted while we were asking her questions. While the other one just swept and looked at us. I can only imagine that they were judging us and criticizing us in their mind for being tourist. And by the way, we are all minorities as well. So I’m not sure what the hell her problem was. Smile. There’s more to life. And the pastries look ok but it was 4:50pm. I asked her if it was fresh pastries, and it seemed like that bothered her. It’s an innocent question and it’s a legitimate one that needs to be asked. They close at 6pm but her demeanor, facial expressions, and behavior and body language, seemed like we were consuming her day. Last time I ever return here. Worthless place. Or perhaps it is a nice place, but the employee sucks balls. And the owner needs to fire her.

This cozy little café has an assortment of tasty sandwiches and treats. As well as great coffee and mixers. It’s a must visit for me once I’m in the area. I am big on consistency and the food and service there is very consistent. Great place!
Aquarion S — Google review
We're huge on customer service and engagement and this was something that was missing so the experience was subpar for us. The location is convenient. Not a huge fan of the setting as it lacked cleanliness. What really killed the experience was the coffee cup which made a huge mess when attempting to drink. We have to remove the lids since it wasn't stable and was the cause if the spillage. Wish the barista would have mentioned that before. The coffee itself was great but it's sad that you still have to pay extra for plant milk as a healthier and more ethical choice. The pastries and desserts looked appetizing. Would take a lot to return.
