Loterie Farm is a nature sanctuary and resort located on 135 acres near the foot of Pic du Paradis. Originally built on the land of an historic plantation, it now offers hiking trails, zip lines, a bar/eatery, and pool/lounge areas. The resort features sparkling pools and treehouse-style cabanas set amidst well-manicured gardens. Visitors can enjoy various eateries on-site, including the Bamboo Room and Hidden Forest Cafe.
We spent the whole day at the pool area of Loterie Farm and it was absolutely divine. It’s a peaceful, relaxing spot truly a hidden paradise. The atmosphere is calm, the food was delicious, and everything is designed to help you unwind. If you’re looking to relax and disconnect, this is the place. Highly recommended!

We did the obstacle course with the zip line. It was really fun and not difficult at all. The instructor was really helpful and explained everything. The trees provided a lot of shade but it was still hot. There is a place where you can eat and drink before or after your slot opens up.
Miguel D — Google review
Very welcoming and pleasant staff. We did the hike, which was very difficult but worth it. The area is very beautiful and well maintained. It’s recommended to book in advance during the high season.

What a great experience. Just few minutes from Grand Case this hidden treasure will leave you breathless. Fun for kids and adults. We only did the pool all day, but it was enough if you wanna just relax. And yes, that screaming child on 7/11/25 was mine, he had wayyyy too much fun...definitely a must see if you come to the island.
Zoranl — Google review
Nice change of pace after all the beach days! The grounds are Beautiful, the pool is refreshing, and drinks are yummy and the service was great! Our server Roger was a gem! A bit pricey, but it was worth it!
Gloria G — Google review
This is absolutely a must visit location. Beautiful area, so many choices right within the location. Excellent food and choices, wonderful stunning ambiance, the service was the best, super friendly and helpful. My family did the ZipLine and loved it, I stayed behind at the cafe, which felt like a lovely treehouse. Highly recommend visiting here, you won’t be disappointed. The pool area has a minimal fee, but it’s worth every cent. Love this place, you will too I’m positive.
Roeann C — Google review
The music, food and drinks were really good. Everyone was really nice, the pool is a great temperature. The views are so much better in person.
Efua B — Google review
We wanted to do the hike of 5,5km and was 10€pp to park the car and do the hike. You follow the sign of hike but coming to the fence upstairs there is no sign were to go higher so go left because you cannot go right, then 200m on the right you go up, again no sign. Upstairs is a beautiful 😍 view. Coming down and back to the farm in about 2,5 hours you have to pay 25€pp for a bed so you can use the pool. Where is that 10€pp for if you don’t provide even a shower or something? We have our own pool so did a lunch which was nice and went off. Its a nice hike, you cannot do this on flipflops, we did the hike with boots 🥾 .

Friar’s Bay Beach

4.4

Beach
Friar’s Bay Beach is a hidden gem located on the northwestern coast of St Maarten, offering gentle waves that make it a great spot for beginner surfers. It's a quiet beach where kids can enjoy body surfing and building sand castles, with plenty of sea shells and smooth rocks to collect as souvenirs. The beach provides chair and umbrella rentals, along with beach drink service and a food court.
Peaceful, calm and quiet. Has two restaurants available here. Beach is small, parking is rough. Would still recommend
SV — Google review
We arrived at Friars Bay Beach around 10 AM after a relaxing yoga class at our hotel. The beach was quiet and peaceful — not crowded at all, which was perfect for us. As the morning went on, the beach slowly started to come alive. One of the beach bars opened up and offered lounge beds for €20 per person, but since we weren’t planning to stay all day, we opted to sit at a table instead. We started off with a coconut water, which was absolutely AMAZING — so fresh and refreshing. That led us to try the mango juice, and wow, it was just as incredible! When lunchtime rolled around, we ordered food from Marilyn. If we could tell you just one thing about this beach: go see Marilyn! She was incredibly sweet and caring, and her food was to die for. Highly recommend visiting this spot. The beach was clean, the water was beautiful, and the vibe was laid-back and relaxing. Would definitely come back!
Jhon A — Google review
Went today 7/17/25 and it was nice. Wanted to sit at 978 but they do not allow outside food and we had brought sub sandwich’s and waters. The spot with the green chairs at the end was too rocky in the water. Ended up sitting in the first location with yellow chairs. Very windy and had to watch the umbrella. The umbrella next to us blew out and almost hit my 69 year old mother. The water was great and very clear. Chairs were 10 dollars each. The road leading up to the beach is rough and you must go slow. Overall was worth the trip to experience.
Jillian V — Google review
My second favorite beach on the island. Beautiful and calm, great for kids. Road isn't as bad as people make it out to be, just drive slow and you'll be fine.
Kimberly D — Google review
This is one of the low key beaches, it feels more secluded and chill. It’s a little tough to get to- there’s a lot of potholes on the way to this beach so you’ll want a good car- and you may run into stray cows on the road bc it’s closer to farms. Super nice and chill once there!
Sara P — Google review
We had more fun in May 2025! This bay is one of St Martin's best beaches as the water is generally calm and the snorkeling from the beach towards Pointe Nord de l'Anse Guichard and Happy Bay can be excellent. There are three bar/restaurants and we chose to rent two chairs and and umbrella from Friar's Bay Beach Cafe at rates of $10 if you buy food and drink at the restaurant, or $20 if you don't. We do recommend eating and drinking at the restaurant as the food and drinks are delicious and the portions are huge. Finished with a kick, poured from a gas can! CASH ONLY at the restaurant. The beach was not crowded during our visits of May and October months. I bring my own snorkeling gear, as there is not any rental place at this beach for such. I saw and photographed numerous Cushion Sea Star (starfish), both yellow and red, parrotfishes, 3 red lion fishes (invasive species), Sand diver lizard fish, damselfish, Three-Rowed Sea Cucumber, social feather duster worms, Magnificent feather duster worm, 3 green turtles and some coral and sponges.
Mark E — Google review
I loved Friar’s Bay Beach, I believe you have to pay for the seats. Sand was so soft and perfect for sand castle building, water was clear and the beach had beautiful shells. I didn’t have many drinks but they looked great! Quaint and sweet beach to enjoy. Loved being on the inside of a cove.
Zeesha H — Google review
I personally consider that this is my best beach in the entire island. Free parking. Restaurants or locals don't harrase you to rent one of their chairs or force you make a minimum consuming. It's clean, turquoise and calm waters.

St. Maarten offers a variety of activities and experiences for families to enjoy. Visitors can receive helpful information on the island, including recommendations for outings, restaurants, and deals all in one place. The Nettle Bay Bakery's activity desk is perfect for planning holiday activities, while the helicopter tour provides a magnificent aerial view of the area. Island tours are highly recommended and provide great insight into the local culture and attractions.
Everyday is outstanding. The view, the temperatures, the people, and the food. I recommend using PYC, private yacht charter. The captain and crew were professional and kind.

Emilio's...Dine with History is a remarkable dining destination situated on an 18th-century sugar cane plantation in St. Maarten. This unique restaurant, housed in a historic boiling house from the 1700s, offers guests the chance to savor exquisite nouveau Caribbean cuisine crafted by Chef Sidney.
We had an incredible dinner experience at Emilio’s this evening! We arrived early for our reservation and we decided to tour around the gorgeous stone exterior and grounds before our meal. My husband and I selected the 3 course meal from the menu and it was served at a relaxing pace. Our server Nyal had great recommendations and was so kind and attentive throughout the entire meal. Everything was cooked to perfection and it was the perfect date night for us. We absolutely loved every moment of it!

This place was eclectic, unique, and a great casual upscale vibe. The environment was perfect. The location was very low-key very relaxing beautiful scenery. The waiter Nyal was very cool, attentive, and personable. The pumpkin soup was delicious the octopus so I heard was also very delicious. The curry was outstanding. And the salmon was also very very enjoyable. Emilio’s is a bit pricey however, when you’re on vacation and you get an opportunity to enjoy a vibe like this with the people you enjoy being around You tend not to worry about the cost. Also, it was good value for the quality of food and the amount of food. compliments to the chef!

As always best place to eat in St Maarten! We enjoy every meal we have over the years!! Fish cake and goat cheese appetizers are superb!! Dessert too was absolutely delicious even though we were so full!! The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and our server Nyal’s smiling face and voice is like coming home! He really makes our dining experience special!!
Elaine S — Google review
One of my favorite restaurants on the island. Between the character & charm of the ambiance, service, food & drinks. The history of the plantation & Emilio’s significance. It had it all. The hospitable owner Norman thanked us for dining when we were seated. My parents & I had such a great experience here. Their bread & pesto is delicious. Option for a 3 course dinner starting at $57.99. I loved the Pumpkin Ravioli & Pecan Crusted Seared Sea Scallops - food & portions were perfection! A dinner reservation is a must, and please be patient - everything is cooked fresh to order, their kitchen is not attached to the main dining & the staff works hard. This is a small but mighty restaurant and their volume is high for a reason - it’s absolutely delightful here. I would come back to dine any day!

Wonderful evening! My childhood friends and I were celebrating our 50th birthday. The staff made us feel so special! The food was fantastic with a great wine selection. Anytime I visit Saint Martin, I'll be sure to include Emilio's at least one night.

First time visiting/trying this restaurant. Everything was absolutely amazing. Nyal was our waiter and he was phenomenal!!! He was very helpful and knowledgeable. The pumpkin soup was delicious, the salmon was probably the best I've ever had! And the chocolate tart was heavenly!! The restaurant itself is beautiful and very clean and well kept. This was the best food we had the entire week we were here. Strongly recommend trying this place!!! Sooo good!! Thank you Nyal and staff!!!

We had a great experience at Emilio’s. Everything was perfect from the time we arrived until the time we left. We had excellent service from Nyal, Biggy, and Jermaine! They were all very attentive. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners Norman and Su. They couldn’t have been any nicer and truly grateful we chose their restaurant to dine at. The interior is beautiful and the food was delicious. We will definitely return when we come back to the island!

Ate dinner at Emilio's on Wednesday October 29th. Lovely hostess and server Marinnela. She has graced us with her friendly personality. The three course dinner was an excellent choice. Table of four had delicious appetizers of tenderloin medallion crusted goat cheese shrimp creole and dinner of Sea Bass and steak. Everything wad deliciously prepared perfectly. Dessert of carrot cake and apple crisp. Everything delicious

Mezza Luna offers delicious Italian food right on the waterfront in Marigot. The restaurant is popular for its sunset views and offers outdoor seating as well as wheelchair access. There is also a full bar and waterfront dining.
Charming oceanfront cafe serving delicious Italian food. They are open for lunch and dinner Tuesday-Saturday. Great ocean breezes keep it cool on even the hottest days. We tried the trigger fish and Gnocchi. Both dishes were delicious.

Great location on the beach on the French side, open for lunch and dinner. They do not do pizza for lunch, dinner only. The bruschetta was phenomenal, my favorite thing I had. The entrees are quite big and could be shared. Good pasta, tasty steak skewers. Nice wine and beer options as well, and friendly staff. The mosquitos were bad even during the day so we brought bug spray and would recommend using it if you go.

Absolutely delicious food! I tried escargot for the first time, and it was delicious. The sauces for each meal were amazing. We really enjoyed the freshly baked pizza. We sat near the water and enjoyed the views!

We went to Mezzaluna to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we made the reservation, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. Without even knowing the occasion, they seated us at what I believe was the best table in the restaurant — with the most breathtaking sunset view. The service was impeccable — Greg and the entire team were so attentive, friendly, and warm throughout the evening. I’m a truffle lover and always order truffle dishes wherever I go. I can honestly say I had the best truffle pasta and pizza of my life here. I would come back a thousand times! Highly, highly recommended.

When you first drive up to the place it looks like a dump. I mean it’s really tu down looking with an old wooden deck in front with some beat up picnic tables. Then you have to walk down a hall past the kitchen and, boom, you enter a beautiful outdoor patio dining area facing the sea. It’s lovely

Dinner at Masa Luna SXM — Wow. We grabbed a table right on the bay at Masa Luna SXM, and honestly, it was one of those nights you just want to bottle up and keep forever. The Caribbean breeze, the sound of the water, and that view — absolutely unbeatable. We started with the Bruschetta Inferno, and let me tell you — it’s the perfect mix of fresh and fiery. Crunchy bread, sweet tomatoes, a little basil, and then that subtle heat that sneaks up on you in the best way. It’s addictive. The Salade d’Endives was the perfect contrast — crisp, fresh, and light, with just the right tang to make every bite pop. Between the two, our taste buds were doing a happy dance. And the staff? Incredible. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to be there. They made us feel like old friends instead of customers, which made the whole evening even better. If you’re in St. Martin and want amazing food with a view that will take your breath away, Masa Luna SXM is the place. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit.
Kevin P — Google review
Anyone looking to enjoy excellent Italian food in SXM will appreciate Mezza Luna. Whether it's pizza (takeout available), à la carte (be sure to try a dish with homemade pasta), or one of the daily specials, all portions are generous and freshly prepared with high-quality ingredients. Impeccable service contributes to a more than fair price-performance ratio. Nes and his crew always strive to provide you with a wonderful culinary evening, and you feel welcome from the very first visit. I would love to come back.

La Cigale is a charming family-owned restaurant in the heart of Saint Martin, offering an intimate dining experience with classic French cuisine made from fresh, high-quality ingredients. Situated on Laguna Beach in Baie Nettle, this elegant bistro boasts stunning views and a terrace overlooking Nettle Bay Lagoon. With its romantic ambiance and beachfront location, La Cigale is perfect for couples seeking a candlelit dinner by the sea.
This place is incredible! The best meal we had on St. Martin, hands down. In a quiet residential neighborhood, the tables are right along the water of Simpson Bay. So romantic and endearing. Every dish was cooked to perfection. The lobster bisque, the bass over leeks, the souffle were top notch. The scallops over risotto were the highlight! Unique and delicious cocktails. And a cheerful, elegant staff serving us. Thank you, La Cigale, for the perfect night.

unbelievable restaurant, the food was phenomenal and the scenery was unmatched. escargot were perfect, and the orange roughy and scallop risotto were both 10/10. we loved being right by the water and the servers were great with recommendations. the only thing i'd change was the length of time it took for anyone to give us the check... maybe that's just the culture of the island and they assume you want to hang out after dinner but from dessert to getting our bill was at least an hour. overall though i'd highly recommend. also rec getting a taxi there because there's really nowhere to park unless you squeeze on the narrow shoulder of the road.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening and the experience. We arrived at 5:45 and were able to enjoy cocktails while watching a beautiful sun set over the from bay at our table on the beach. Service was impeccable with all staff I knowledgeable about the menu. The service was equivalent to any excellent fine dining I have enjoyed in France. The Lobster ravioli in a lobster bisque appetizer was fantastic. I enjoyed the Orange Roughi and my husband ordered the scallops with asparagus risotto and said it was perfect.

An absolutely delightful dinner La Cigali tonight. We were able to sit at a large table on an under an umbrella on the beach. Looking out over the bay. All of the food was excellent. We enjoyed ceviche and appetizer with smoked salmon and wahoo, and then onto our main courses of duck breasts, fillet of beef and orange roughie. Everything was cooked to perfection. We ended up with a variety of different desserts as well. The service was excellent and the hospitality was very good.

A truly unique place where Ras-Tafari and Marcus Garvey are celebrated in a magnificent culinary manner. Of course vegan style. One of our friends never had vegan food and loved the burger. We enjoyed the burger and the roti very much. The service and atmosphere are of high quality, authentic, unique and welcoming to all. The music was a great mix of new and classic reggae music.

Super flavourful, unique tasting, and nourishing food!! Came here on Saturday night which we learnt is the only evening that the restaurant is open. The owners (a couple) are very welcoming and sweet. They cook up some very balanced and delicious food. We had the healing soup, mushroom burger (wow actually best mushroom burger we've ever had!), and roti. Everything was super delectable and tasty! they had a nice touch of making brussel sprouts crunchy in the mushroom burger and roti. We also had the sugar free home made juice. The ambiance is very laid back and eccentric. Edited: Google map updated its location with my update so the below tip isn't needed anymore! Yay Location wise Google map is wrong so if you're driving towards the restaurant south east you have to go a bit further than what Google map says. Highly recommend!

If you enjoy French food eat here!! We made a reservation prior to our stay in St. Martin. It was the last night of our stay and best meal we had while here. The food was wonderful, we had escargot which was delicious. Our entrees were excellent as well, lamb and quail. Everything from beginning to end was perfection. The staff is wonderful and welcoming, very passionate about their food which I love. They made it a very memorable night for us. Thank you!

Dinner here ended the perfect week of sun and crystal clear blue beaches. In 5 days we visited 9 beaches and 12 restaurants- this by far was our favorite. The food, presentation and service were 10/10. Karine, Carlos. And the gentleman that chased us down when we we forgot my phone were lovely and made us feel at home. The new owner Chantel has done a splendid job continuing the success of a restaurant that has been in place for 45 years. We had walked passed this restaurant a few times while Venturing into Grand Case throughout the week and noted it was always packed- we now know why. Everything was so fresh and well done. Can’t wait to come back next year. 5 stars.

The Auberge Gourmande is one of the most wonderful Restaurants in Saint Martin. Top quality french cuisine and a very unique assortment of quality french wine. Also the service is heartfelt and very personal! Always a good choice!

Love this place. The food was spectacular, and the service was even better. This is a must stop place if visiting Saint Martin. It is in the French side of the island.

Auberge Gourmande – A Hidden Gem of French Gastronomy in Saint Martin Tucked away in the heart of Grand Case, Auberge Gourmande is more than just a restaurant—it’s a sanctuary of French culinary excellence, where every dish is a love letter to tradition, flavor, and artistry. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were warmly welcomed by Chantal, whose gracious hospitality set the tone for an unforgettable evening. Our waitress, Karyn, made the experience spectacular. Her deep knowledge of the menu, charisma, and effortless charm turned each course into a celebration of taste, passion, and storytelling. Chef Alex, the genius behind the stove and Chantal’s husband, crafts dishes that feel like they belong in a Paradise. We began with the Duck Foie Gras Raviolis, delicately nestled in a rich truffle sauce—a silken, decadent introduction to the meal. But the true showstopper may have been the French pie with lobster meat, chopped in white wine and layered on a bed of Florentine spinach, all crowned with a lobster cream sauce that melted on the tongue. It was pure indulgence, yet somehow still elegant. The Duck “Wellington” confit with foie gras and wild mushrooms, encased in golden pastry, was a masterpiece. Served with truffle and mushroom sauce and crushed potatoes, every element was cooked to perfection—flaky, savory, and deeply satisfying. To end, the mango and strawberry puff pastry was a dream. Light, crisp, and filled with vibrant fruit, it was served with homemade whipped cream and a housemade fruit sauce that brought brightness and balance to the dessert. Dining at Auberge Gourmande is more than just a meal—it’s a true gastronomic journey, lovingly curated by people who care deeply about the guest experience. With Karyn’s extraordinary service, Chantal’s warmth, and Chef Alex’s brilliance in the kitchen, this was one of the finest meals we’ve ever had—not just in Saint Martin, but anywhere

Place was jammed as always which is usually a good sign; glad I made a reservation. Restaurant was clean and we were greeted warmly by the owner. The waitstaff and sommelier were very pleasant and knowledgeable. The drinks, wine, appetizers, and entrees were all delicious and well portioned. Price was very reasonable. I definitely recommend.

Sunset Cafe is a restaurant located at the Grand Case Beach Club, offering affordable and delicious meals. The cafe's waterfront location provides stunning sunset views while enjoying a variety of dishes, including vegetable fritters with sweet chili sauce and stewed pork cheek with aged Rhum. Guests can also open tabs for convenience. Additionally, the nearby area of Grand Case boasts numerous dining options for those seeking diverse culinary experiences.
Servers and food was good, the view.... Unbelievable📷✨🏝️. I came for breakfast which ends at 10:30 and was blown away at the setting of the restaurant. It's a little hard to get into at first, you park on the street and the hotel is gated and you have to use an intercom to get let in or find the beach access which I didn't find, not clear how to get there. Very reasonable price and everything was nice.

Loved our time here. We had a full and beautiful meal in an ideal setting waiting for the sunset. Appetizer was cod fish fritters. Trigger fish and seared tuna entrees were delicious. And topping it off with profiterols... super good. Our waitress Alice was super helpful and offered excellent service. The only thing confusing for us was getting in... had to park on street above the resort and push gate intercom to come in. Other than that... Perfect last evening for our stay on the island.

Outstanding location and view; it's lovely having dinner here at sunset with the sight and sound of the water. Food is generally pretty good. In particular, the grilled octopus was a good dish. Service depends on time of day and how busy they are, but wasn't bad. If you're staying at the Beach Club it's super convenient being able to get food and drinks on the beach and such. Note, since they are separate from the Beach Club, there's really no "charging it to your room." However you can start a tab with the restaurant, by your room number, and then close out at the end of your stay. With so many good places to eat in Grand Case, if you're not at the Beach Club I wouldn't necessarily say you need to go out of your way to come here. But it's a great on-site restaurant.

This place is one of our must visits when we come to the island. The views, the sunset and the food are all impeccable. Make sure you have pre-dinner drinks at the terrace to catch the sunset. It is an amazing spot. Then move over to the several tables by the water to enjoy a wonderful meal and great wines or non alcoholic drinks. The staff is great and very friendly. They make sure your evening goes as you expect, with birthdays and special occasions included.

I have been coming to this beach bar since 1983. I've been on guy trips, and couple trips and time spent at this bar has always been great. On an earlier trip, my girlfriend left her phone there. The staff, Tia, took great care to secure her phone and hold it until we could return to get it the next day. On our last visit Halloween 2025, I left my wallet, with a credit cards, license etc. Once again the staff secured my wallet and returned it in its entirety. My thanks to Tia, Marine, Sabrina and to the gentleman who's name I dont recall for their honesty. A trip to SXM is not the same with a stop to visit these fine folks and this fine spot!!

Italian restaurant
Nestled in the charming town of Grand Case, Spiga is a culinary gem that beautifully marries Italian flavors with a hint of Caribbean flair. Housed in a lovingly restored Creole building, this restaurant offers an intimate escape from the bustling crowds. Guests can indulge in homemade pastas and fresh seafood, with standout dishes like lobster ravioli and braised Angus beef short rib served alongside porcini mushroom risotto. The ambiance is perfect for romantic dinners, enhanced by high-quality ingredients sourced locally.
Blown away. I wasn’t expecting it to be this good! Better than any of the Michelin restaurants in Italy and NYC. Everything was perfect, we had 2 cocktails, forgot to take photos, they were delicious. You will not be disappointed. Mateo was our server and he was gracious and on point. We will definitely dine here again.

Spiga was really good. The service and atmosphere is perfect for a nice dinner. I would only say...if you are use to your food deeply seasoned, you may be slightly disappointed. The Veal was tinder and breaded, but just not deeply seasoned(strictly personal preference)

So nice we ate here twice…in one week! Spectacular Italian food and wonderful service - the perfect break from all the buttery French food in the area. Will definitely be back again and again, especially for that cheesecake!

Quaint, authentic Italian spot off the normal congested area of Grand Case. Complementary valet parking. Super kind and polite staff, working as a smooth running team. High ceilings, airy, light music in background with seating far enough apart where you don't hear your neighbor's conversation. All pasta in made in house and is delicious. Menu is broad and offers many nontraditional Italian dishes. Our Cesar Salad (uniquely presented), Carbanara and Fettuccine Bolognese were simply impeccable. Spiga is the type of place you return to later the same week.

We went to Spiga at the beginning of our week long trip to St Martin and ended up back again 2 nights later. The service was great and the restaurant was very quaint and cozy. The food was amazing. We had the fettuccine Alfredo, which is the best I’ve ever tasted. The pasta is fresh everyday and it shows in the flavor. We also had the chicken Milanese, paccheri al tre pomodori (the most amazing tomato flavor) as well as the bolognese. We also had the tiramisu for desserts both nights and it was delicious. I would come back here every week if I could. Thank you Mateo for taking great care of us!

We come here on the first day of our trip to St Martin for the past three years from NYC. It is really amazing Italian food. The food if in NYC would be a Michelin star. Really good pumpkin ravioli and veal! Every course amazing and we ordered a ton. Definitely check it out! So so good!

Overall, this was our favorite meal on the island. The servers were phenomenal, wine was fabulous, our meal was delicious! They made my kiddo special dishes that she would eat. Our first night in the island so didn't know you couldn't leave tip with a credit card. My husband went back the next day to leave a cash tip. Was worth it!

Spiga is one of the most wonderful, incredible restaurants we’ve ever been to - not even exaggerating one bit (and we've eaten at Michelin star) The wait staff were so warm, friendly and entertaining as well; they totally made our experience a 10 out of a 10. Actually, the food was so addictive we ate there twice in 3 nights (and really wished it would have been all 3)! I have dreams of the seafood risotto, lamb ragu, that pollo with the provolone oozing out and maple cheesecake still. I wonder if you could ship some Texas? ❤️❤️❤️ No nevermind, I need to go workout now!! Would love to come back one day.

Restaurant
Fat Tony's is an American bar and grill located in Cupecoy, known for its great BBQ, pizza, wings, burgers, and smoked meats. It's a popular spot for students at the American Medical University of the Caribbean to enjoy North American sports and pub food. The casual open-air setting offers a relaxed atmosphere with live music on weekends. They also offer takeout options for those looking to unwind at their rental accommodations.
It's a great spot that all the locals go to. Food is great. However, I'm going to give my dish, "the garbage plate special" a 3. After I ordered and paid, they informed me there was no meat sauce that was the main component of the dish. So basically, I had open faced hot dogs over fries. The best part was the macaroni salad. My husband did enjoy his burger. Our drinks were delicious. We purchased some of their sauces to take home and they were amazing. Our group did return the next night for steak night...that was much better!

If you're a meat lover then you're going to love this place. We ordered the any 2 meat platter and went with the brisket and chicken. The chicken 🐔 was ok, but the brisket was incredible 🔥! The sides were sweet potato fries and vegetables, and let me tell you - don't skip your veggies 😂. It was all good, and made it even sweeter seeing all of the aunties running the show. If you're looking for some good food, try Fat Tony's out 👍🏾

On certain nights the atmosphere is very good. The people are mostly nice. Martin in the bar makes great drinks🍸 John is good on pizza🍕 I didn't get the chefs name but the jerk chicken is good.
Lisa H — Google review
The woman who waited on me was friendly and helpful. It was my first meal in Sint Maarten and she left a good impression. I was so tired and ordered to go. The brisket was flavorful, but had more fat than I'd like. The pork was also flavorful. Fries were ok. Bread was great. I'd return.

Solid 4* bar and restaurant. I had the jerk chicken and my wife the sliced brisket. Chicken was mildly seasoned and cooked just right. Brisket was great with a nice smoke flavor. Happy hour specials 4-7 and a $27 Steak night special on Tuesdays. Staff were friendly. The 2 picnic tables outside had a nice breeze. Overall a nice inexpensive dinner with good food.

Fat Tony’s smokehouse is a casual (you’re over-dressed in a t-shirt), open-air bar that serves average (at best) BBQ. Don’t come for the food or you’ll be disappointed – the brisket was saved only by generous portions of sauce and the ribs were bland. The bathrooms should be illegal. But it’s a fun hangout decorated with owner Rick’s Buffalo Bill’s regalia. The evening we went featured karaoke, with the DJ howling into to a mic to inspire crowd participation.
Brooke Y — Google review
Nice little bar. Wings are good & good atmosphere. Well priced as well. Will be back to try the pizza which looked great.
Kevin K — Google review
This is absolutely not a 4.5. Probably the worst wings I’ve ever had. All of the sauces and the ketchup had been sitting out in the hot temperature all day. So much to the point that they were separating. Asked for some ranch, it was hot as well. Wife’s food was super overcooked as well. Bathroom is an outhouse.

Sale & Pepe Marina Italian Sicilian Restaurant SXM offers a charming and sophisticated atmosphere with soft lighting, rich wooden accents, and a breezy terrace that overlooks the marina. Their menu showcases traditional Italian fare including fresh seafood, wood-fired pizza, and homemade pasta crafted from top-quality ingredients. This family-owned establishment is a beloved spot for savoring exquisitely prepared Italian cuisine in a stunning waterfront setting.
Great place with excellent food and service. The Caesar salad, meatballs that were on special, mushroom risotto and wine were all raved about. The spinach ravioli in a pink sauce my mom loved and gets time and time again. Would highly recommend this place for authentic Italian and we will be back on future trips. Is it pricy? Yes! Is it worth the price? YES!! No room for dessert but the little limoncello was a nice touch.

We’ve been frequenting Sale & Pepe since it opened in a different location in Simpson Bay. It was a much smaller space but soon outgrew it because it became popular since they offered such dynamite dishes. The current location offers a scenic view of the Simpson Bay and the multi million dollar yachts that sit outside. A sleek, sophisticated, and inviting atmosphere coupled with amazing dishes make this an outstanding choice for a wonderful dining experience.

Holy cannoli! This is proper good italian food! The wine, the pasta, the chef specials, the delicious desert. The flavors are very nicely balanced and layered. Bravo dear chef, We salute you ❤️

Food is top notch. Service was just ok. We had a large group with multiple checks that we made them aware of before we ordered. It was a challenge for the staff to get the bills right and took longer than expected. We also had to ask for simple water refills far more than expected. Had it been just 2 people on a single check it would have been great. Maybe just not a place for large groups unless you're on a single bill.

Delicious food and view! We loved the pasta and the ambiance.
Camille D — Google review
We were a family of 10 with several small children. The friendly staff even offered a lounge when one of the children fell asleep. The view of the sea was beautiful, and the ambience was nice. Most importantly, the food was excellent. No one in our party had a complaint about their food (which is hard with large groups). The seafood was fresh and tasty; the bread was warm and crusty; and we loved the desserts. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We loved everything we got here from the appetizer to main dish to dessert (our favorite!) to drinks! Highly recommend stopping by. The only downside was our bill took so long to come and we had to ask multiple times for it. Turns out their machine was down but we didn’t know. Otherwise great experience!

We went to 4 different restaurants during our stay, and this one was for SURE the best. It has a mix of italian and seafood, and everything was amazing. The best food we’ve ever had. Emanuel was our server and he made the experience even better. He had great recommendations a great personality, and had great service. He was seriously the best! 5 stars all around.
