This is a lovely place for a quiet walk with the family and dogs. They have Beavers and Otters, although they are very shy and we didn't get to see any. Lots of little Easter eggs to find and look out for on the walk, which is great for adults as well as kids. We went out of season, so was nice and quiet. Very large lake and beautiful gardens. Definitely worth a visit

Really liked the gardens, a lovely place to stroll, sit and enjoy. I knew Tom Stuart-Smith had been involved in their design, and particularly wanted to visit for that reason. Love his style. Quite expensive garden entrance fee I thought, so you need to want to spend quite a bit of time in the garden area to make it worthwhile . But once you've got your ticket you can go in and out of the gardens all day whenever you like. Plenty of free parking. And a great array of shops outside the gardens. We went on an incredibly hot day, so enjoyed the air con in many of the shops, as well as browsing. Excellent customer service everywhere. Overall had a great day. I bet it's lovely at Christmas!

Beautiful gardens and lots to do. So pretty and well maintained. Good food and drink options. Playground, maze and barefoot walk. Nice views. Plenty of space and lots of animals. Worth the price. Really stunning.

What a wonderful place, fabulous weather as well made it a fairytale walk around the man made water pond. Shame that the Ferris wheel wasn't in operation, mini train ride, boat tour 😮😔 lovely kept gardens too (just a shame that the ruins are sitting as ruins and fenced up) amount money making on entrance, could go into a pot to pay towards reconstruction or renovation of this house (even turn it into a greenhouse garden canopy of plants and sell them to the public)

Good stop on the way to the Lake District. Plenty of shops and restaurants too. A bit crowded but it was the weekend and sunny so! They have a huge parking space so you’re bound to find a spot somewhere. A good place to stop and refresh yourself before hitting the road again.

All ways a joy to go, plenty of wildlife, Trentham is biggest exclosure for beavers, Fantastic for the avid photographer of wild life. 2 great cafes and the Monkey Forest Park can be accessible from the south shore (lake) café. Trentham have many events on over the year and for children during School holidays, concert events and much more.

Trentham Gardens is host to a number of boutique shops, on occasion a market full of stalls and food vendors, the garden centre and of course the gardens themselves. It's always a pleasant time to visit, shop, walk, eat and enjoy the time there. I'm fortunate enough that one of my closest friends is part of the company who creates the fairies so I'm a big advocate for the art sculptures his dad had made they alone are worth a visit tk see.

Lots of lovely in house shop with portacabin in from a fresh farmhouse shop to cotton traders sweet shops card factory it's all here in a posh setting lots of toilets there may be a que to use them lots of parking space free for an hour than payable free for blue badge holders outside and benches to relax and enjoy gardens opposite

Plenty of parking which is free, and do drive to the bottom end of the car park as people tend to push and shove at the entrance, when the car park is massive. This is an outdoor shopping area, and the shops are quaint rather than massive named brands, although there are a few. There are toilets and also a garden centre at one end. Plenty of places to sit, and a few cafes although they get VERY busy. Dogs welcome in most shops. Definitely worth a visit.

It’s an open-air shopping center, and especially for outdoor shopping, there are many stores for gifts. They also have really nice cafes. You can do your shopping, stroll outdoors, and relax at the cafe all at once. They even have the Trentham Gardens, which is incredibly large and beautiful, but I think the entrance fee per person is quite expensive. My husband and I visited once just to explore, and we really liked it. However, I don’t think we’ll go again, especially considering the high cost per person. But we still enjoy shopping there and taking a break at the cafes.

Great shopping village, shops laid out in wood cabins. The giant wheel is only £6 for adults and £4 for children and is a delight to ride on, very slow the view is spectacular. You can spend 3 hours easily here.

This is a review of the cafe where you are supposed to be served not the self service restaurant. So, service is glacially slow and without any hint of a smile whatsoever. Could it be you are in the wrong job? I took a table which quite frankly was absolutely rammed with dirty plates, cups etc. Its state was what my mother would have called 'slovenly', my mother ran a corner shop for years and in later life - her 70's she managed an ice cream parlour with young people who loved her, she was always encouraged them to be neat, tidy and above all to act with speed and take priide. She was one of the 'roses of Swinnerton' and maybe in her mid-teens had acquired a few valuable life lessons and took a pragmatic view of life, as in, 'i volunteered for the big bombs section' she took the view that big or small, if it went wrong then the result would probably be the same, acquring your angel's wings. In the meantime the money was better! Always motivated & eternally organised. Bravo my mum. Either close this 'cafe' or address the underlying issues of size to demand & motivate your staff.

We visited recently as the last time we went to the gardens we didn't have time for the shops and they looked good. Our last visit was likely a good 2 years ago and the shops have understandably changed now, but not for the better. What a disappointment the variety was, I use the word variety loosely. There was nothing quirky or special, nothing that made me go Wow. I found nearly all of the shops overpriced and not particularly exclusive, most of what was available could be bought cheaper online and that just irritates the life out of me. The only shop to have consistent stock and low prices was The Works, but as they are pretty much in every town we didn't even bother going in. Of course, I know that some shops are independent and it takes a lot to keep a small shop going but when you overprice and outprice yourself, I'm not surprised. It was a nice area to walk around, clean and had some fabulous flower displays in pots etc. Benches are plentiful to take a seat and rest. Clear signage and plenty of entrances and exits to the car park The car park has plenty of room (we visited in the week when all schools are in session), not many disabled bays considering we arrived at 1030 and all taken. There is a map but no fear of getting lost so unnecessary really. Access to the gardens is via the shopping village. All shops welcome dogs on leads including food shops. *Note - the garden centre is not allowing dogs in anymore* I am not in a rush to go back to the village anytime soon.

I visited Trentham Gardens today, I've been on many occasions and I have always enjoyed it and today wasn't an exception. But I was so pleased to see so many beautiful plants and all the nature that was being attracted by them. I'm not sure what the part is called but it's the little bit by the children's play area, which has a red bridge and a pond. Well I'm a massive fan of real flowers, bees, ladybirds etc and I was so happy to see the flowers and that area flourishing! Myself and my daughter (9yo) loved watching all the bees and wasps going from one flower to another. We loved seeing all the different things growing there and how calm and relaxing it was! It's beautiful and you can tell it's being well taken care of!

We visited for the Halloween event on the evening. Beautiful place to visit as always. The decor was lovely. Sadly they didn't have the seperate disabled access line they've had on previous occasions. The line did move quickly but our child became stressed with being surrounded by a large volume of people waiting in the queue. We booked the first slot for the event to get ahead of the crowds for this reason. Would be great if there was a section for older children who may enjoy being spooked. The food on offer was great.

A fabulous day out, reasonable prices for entry. A beautiful Italian garden & a walk around the lake is recommended. Also an excellent shopping village there too.

Really big estate, didn't get to see all of it, maybe next time when the weather is on my side. Would be great to see the wildlife, but I wasn't so lucky. Loved how intricate the metal dandelion sculptures were.

Amazing place, like a National Trust property but much larger than most of the ones I've been to. Obviously much of the gardens have been restored but they all look amazing. Lots of stopping places if you get tired. The boat ride on the lake is a reasonable cost and really nice on a summer's day. The residence is not accessible as it's just a shell but there are lots of plaques telling you about the history of the place. Would really recommend it for young and old, as there are walking trails around the lake and the youngsters can do a' fairy trail 'to try and spot all the amazing sculptures. There are beavers on the island too, you might not see them but you might spot their handiwork asking the edge of the lake. There are shops just outside the entrance too, I would recommend the ice cream at the Thornton's shop, by far the best on site (and we pretty much tried them all!)

Been a long time annual ticket holder and always pleased to go to the gardens . You sometimes baulk at the price but when you look around the gardens and see how much work goes on it easily value for money . The gardens are great . Lovely to stroll around the lake and pop in one of the two cafes for a drink before pottering around the Italian Gardens . My granddaughter is a great fan of the play park . And yesterday it was our first time on the boat . It was brilliant. Great commentary from the guys on board . Learnt so much and saw some great bits of wildlife . Once again great value at only £3 .

We had a great time here, we dropped onto good weather and being a Tuesday a bit quieter than usual. It's great that you can just walk around with the monkeys free roaming, there are plenty of workers there to look out for you. You must watch a safety briefing before entering, not long at all but important info regarding your visit. The forest is lovely and a nice walk around, its in a loop but both directions there is a hill to climb, I would say keep right, smaller hill. If you are lucky enough to be there when they are doing a feed, they tell you all about the history and about the monkeys. One being 31 years old now, which in human years is over 100. Banana cafe was good too, both having jacket potatoes. Toilet facilities were very good. Ample parking.

This place was amazing! My sister and I loved being able to see the monkeys up so and learn so many different facts about them for example, their origin and their diet. We were lucky enough to be there at the time of their feeding which we got to see a staff member feed the monkeys and teach us how they behave and the hierarchy of the monkey kingdom. At the time of visiting, they had over 100 monkeys to see and around 11 of which being babys as young as 4 weeks old. As you leave the monkey forest, there's a cafe and a really big park with unique attractions such as big tree swings and mystery trails to walk and venture on. This site is truly amazing and I couldn't recommend it for families any more!

Its a nice day out with the children. Its not a huge site so only took about 2 hours to do everything, which included eating in their cafe. The cafe had a nice variety of food and was actually quite reasonably priced. We used kids pass to get 25% entry so paid £44 for 2 adults and 3 children. I have only given 4 stars due to the size of the place and how quickly it took to get around. I would return though but wouldn't want to pay full price and recommend looking for a voucher code like we did.

Pleasantly surprised by this place. £54 for a family of 4, a little on the expensive side I thought, but when you wander in to the monkey enclosure you certainly get your money's worth! There's plenty of monkeys to see and they get quite close to you at times. There were lots of babies (1 month and younger) to see that were ADORABLE! A small play park and den building area for the kids for when you're done and some educational areas. These weren't too informative, but enough. There's also a short meadow walk. We ate from the pizza van and this was really good value at under £10 for a Margherita pizza. The ice cream van was also exceptional! £4.50 for two scoops and you get loads! Shout-out to all the guides in the enclosure. They were all really knowledgeable and were full of chat. We didn't use the cafe but the food looked good and we didn't visit the shop I would recommend at least walking through the enclosure from 4:30 onwards as the monkeys head back up the hill for the evening, very cool to see them all walking home!

I absolutely love monkeys, so I drove five hours round trip to visit the Monkey Forest, and I was absolutely not disappointed! The monkeys are adorable and live freely—they aren't kept in cages. The area is spacious, and I had so much fun watching the little monkeys playing around.

Absolutely great time. Monkeys everywhere, feeding, playing, all natural, ignoring people, other than to play tricks on us, like bouncing in the branches of an acorn tree when people walk underneath! Nice walk, good little cafe. All reasonable prices, including entry tickets. We'll definitely be back.

Although a small place, this was a good place for a couple of hours ( can stay longer if you watch the monkeys as well ). There is a nice meadow walk which was quite relaxing. We had lunch before going. The Chicken goujons and chips were very good! I highly recommend this place to be up close and personal with the Barbary macaques. Babies were very cute.

We had a last minute booking last night at 8.30pm and arrived to a wonderful atmosphere not too busy and very attentive staff on arrival. There was a acoustic guitar player, he was very good. The food was beautiful and the gentleman in charge was very lovely and attentive also, nothing was too much trouble and not in your face all the time which is uncomfortable and never felt rushed with out dinner. I will come again and recommend you to close friends and family. Well done...

Have visited David's today for lunch. It was busy but John quickly found us a nice table and ordered our drinks which arrived very promptly. Both the tea and coffee were excellent. We both decided on the roast turkey off a comprehensive menu although there was an excellent choice of lighter lunches and hot and cold sandwiches. The meal arrived very quickly but was superbly cooked and presented. In fact my wide declared it the best turkey she had ever tasted- sorry to family Christmas cooks. There was plenty of choice for a sweet but we both chose the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream. It was delicious and ended a great lunch. The staff were attentive and friendly throughout our meal without rushing us and looking round seemed to easily cope with a full restaurant. Highly recommended.

We arrived here early afternoon asking for a table for three. We were originally told that there may be a wait, and then a male members staff asked a couple to move, so that we could sit on a table for three. We had three different meals, my son had sausage and mash, I had the chicken sandwich (with chip cubes) and my wife had roast chicken. The three meals were excellent, all of great quality, and with lovely portions. The service and staff were excellent, and a place that we will certainly visit again if we are in the area. Great place.. this is similar to my trip advisor review.

Really lovely atmosphere with great staff! We only wanted a coffee, so we got to sit in the window on the setees, which had a range of newspapers if you wanted. We were made to feel very welcome, even on a busy day and we weren't getting food. The drinks we had were lovely, and at the average price for a sit in hot drink, so no complaints from us! I would definitely go back when next in Trentham, and would have some food next time!

A great place to eat if you're visiting Trentham Gardens. The food is consistently good, although it is advisable to book in advance as they are always busy. You can however, just drop in for a coffee and a piece of cake. The seating for that is limited too. Highly recommended. Bistro type atmosphere.

My friend is a coeliac and the gentleman who showed us to our table and brought the menu, couldn't have been more helpful. There were very few things on the menu that she couldn't have. She had quinoa & orange salad and said it was the best meal she'd had in ages. I had a breaded hake sandwich with peas, fried potatoes and chutney and it was all gorgeous. We were served quickly even though it was a very busy lunchtime. All the staff were friendly and courteous. An excellent experience. Will recommend this restaurant to all our friends.

We came up to Trentham Gardens from Alton for the day. After a long day walking around the gardens and monkey park we thought we'd grab late lunch / quick snack before heading back to our B&B in Alton and dinner later. We ordered one chicken teriyaki salad between us. Our expectations were surpassed as we were given two half portions on separate plates. As per photo. But moreover the food was fantastic. Best salad we've had. That good. So much so, we're thinking of excuses to come back for dinner while we're down in this part of the world! If not we'll definitely be back next trip down to Alton Towers. Staff were great too.

Unfortunately we visited for breakfast this morning and it was terrible from start to finish. We waited to be seated for quite a while, a few staff made eye contact with us and chose to ignore us. We watched a waitress walk up to the plate and sneeze all over the food, at this point I wish we’d walked out. A friendly lady eventually came and did apologise for the wait and seated us. We sat down, ordered drinks and then waited again. People that came in after us were receiving their food and drinks long before we did. We ordered our food which was actually delivered very fast, maybe a little too fast! My wife’s meal was wrong, we struggled to get anyone’s attention to let them know so I had to walk around the restaurant to let someone know. Again the same lady apologised and said it would be changed. I sat down to eat my breakfast alone and it was cold. We went to find the same waitress again and said not to worry about the replacement meal now as we no longer wanted to eat in the restaurant. She was very apologetic and said no problem you can leave. The restaurant was not busy when we visited but it seemed to be chaos. One thing I would like to point out, there was a male waiter, walking round doing his best to avoid customers with an air pod in listening to music?! Surely staff are there to work and create a good experience for customers, it seemed very odd

It's disappointing to see how far the standards have declined. This place used to be a favourite, but our recent take out experience was underwhelming and miserable with a long wait for food adding to the frustration. My £15 pizza was just about edible, wouldn't fill a child up and lacking in flavour. My partner’s burger was equally poor, resembling a cheap ready meal with stale bread and limp salad. I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, but for the price charged, the quality and attention to detail was miles away from usual standards. Supermarket ready meals would have been a better option. Never again I'm afraid.

Met at the door and shown straight to our table. We were asked if we had any allergies and sat down. Drinks order was taken relatively quickly. No issues with drinks. Food order taken promptly. Food arrived and was well presented and correct. All Food was hot and tasted really good. Thank you for a great meal for my step daughters birthday.

4/8/25 Fantastic return visit this evening with my son . Excellent customer service. All the food was exceptionally well presented and prepared. Thoroughly enjoyed my starter of frankies meatballs. Mine and my sons main meal we enjoyed wich was pizza, again top marks . The dessert was the chocolate brownie sundae. Exceptional service all round. Highly recommend for all occasions.

Visited here after spending the day at Trentham Gardens. Bonus to find it was dog friendly! The staff were very friendly and efficient, restaurant was clean and well organised and the food was served quickly and was delicious 10/10

Me and my family visited on the 31st of july at 7:30, during our visit two members of staff shone above the rest. These being Ozzy and Saskia. Both made us feel beyond welcome and made our visit very memorable. I can’t thank them enough, both are a real credit to the venue and deserve the recognition :) (the mac and cheese was one of the best i’ve had too)

We recently tried a selection of pies and were overall very pleased with the experience. Each one had its own unique flavor profile, and it was fun to compare our favorites. Personally, I absolutely loved the Stilton pie—the rich, tangy cheese was perfectly balanced with the savory filling, making it the standout for me. My partner, on the other hand, really enjoyed the Chicken Tikka pie. It had a lovely depth of flavor, with just the right amount of spice and a creamy, comforting texture that made it really satisfying. The Steak pie, while hearty and well-seasoned, had a noticeably strong onion presence that, for my taste, slightly overpowered the rest of the filling. If you're a big fan of onions, it might be right up your alley, but it wasn’t quite to my liking. Overall, though, the quality of the pies was excellent, and we’d definitely try more from the range in the future.

Stopped off here on a rainy day on my own. Very quick table service, I had the moo and blue- it was delicious, lovely thick gravy and creamy mash. Reasonable price and decent portions. Would definitely recommend! You can even take a pie home to cook at home!

Brilliant tucker. Bit expensive for what it is but it was delicious, well presented and served by friendly staff. Alcohol is also served on the premises. Well recommended will definitely be back very soon.

We both decided to try the 'Big Cheese' pie with mash, garden peas + gravy. This pie was absolutely delicious - a great blend of flavours! We have always found the staff at the Trentham venue to be very pleasant. Today, the staff on duty were exceptional, hence I decided to write this review. Ethan, our server, was very welcoming + attentive. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Best cheese pie I've tasted in awhile on a bed of very good mash and excellent gravy

Food was lovely and was served quick. However, the blonde lady who was on the front of house, has no manners or social cues. When I first walked in, I asked if we could sit inside and she was too busy speaking to another staff member. When my partner went to order food and I was sat down, she continued to stare at me the whole time, for what reason I have no idea. Poor customer service on her part. Important to add, I saw another review mention her as being rude so this is clearly a common occurrence.

Its an ok place but parking charges need sorting. I spent just under an hour there on a Sunday for £1.70 when in the week its £1.40. Better still i spent over 2 hours in Stafford at their riverside car park and that cost me £1.20! And you wonder why the high street is failing when this contributes to people not visiting

First visit and pleasantly surprised. Lots of shops, I liked the local artist craft shop which had some great gift ideas. Also found a good pop up book shop

This mall had a variety of shops. Could find just about everything you needed in there with some good bargains. Plenty of security clean. Definitely worth the trip

Has everything that you would need when going retail shopping, and even has some unusual characters which adds to the flavour of the place. Warning though, it does have a Primark so if your partner is with you be prepared for potentially being dragged around there for a few hours.

Best place for shopping with family & friends. Atmosphere and foods are also very tasty . Will go again this Weekend for Christmas Dinner 🎄

Very clean environment. It's a modern market with assorted goods including clothes; shoes; jewellery; quality assorted honey etc. The environment is safe; and can pass for a recreation centre.

Theatre itself is clean and tidy, seating arrangement is good, but speakers at the back were not working. It was mentioned at the time, but staff did nothing to resolve, it was even shouted down to the performer (Jimmy Carr) who acknowledged the issue. When I have sat at the front previously, no issues with sound at all.

Nice theatre with fairly comfy seats and insanely warm. Went to see inside Number 9 which was amazing. Great staff who can bring your drink or food to your seat. Only real gripe is the price for food and drink which is a complete rip off

I have visited The Regent many times over the last 20 years but today was my first visit since needing to use a wheelchair. I was apprehensive about what to expect. I booked my tickets using the access phoneline; they were extremely helpful in setting up my access account. I read the online access information for the venue; the guide was very thorough. The pavements around are smooth, the staff were fantastic, help with the platform lift was seemless and made me feel like I was not a burden or inconvenience, the use of the lift to get to the circle was fine (although signs in the lift itself would be helpful as the signs are all at usual head height and the venue was busy so people blocked my sightlines), the access seating was great. Exit was super smooth too- again security staff made me feel safe and were great. What a fantastic way to treat people. Many thanks!

The speakers on the top were not working, so it was kind of quiet up there. People started to stand up and clap during the show, blocking the view for people behind. And £4.30 for a 500ml soft drink, kinda ridiculous. 😐

Just been into the Regent Theatre in Hanley, SOT to book ticket for this years pantomime. Our family have enjoyed the Panto at the Regent for the last 25 years (baring covid) What fantastic staff you have in the Booking Office. Rhoda helped us this evening and was really patient and kind. My first visit in the incarnation of the Regent Theatre. I'm sure I visited here many years ago when it might have been a cinema as well ( the Gaumount?) The theatre was beautiful and the seating very comfortable. Not disappointed. Went to see the new Riverdance troupe and they were phenomenal. Didn't partake in refreshments but there were plenty of bars to choose from. Going to see Diversity there next March and looking forward to that as well. We parked nearby which was reasonably priced.

Saw Australian Pink Floyd here. They were of course excellent as always. The Regent Theatre is beautiful, great acoustics, small, cosy venue. It's a shame such a lovely place is in Stoke On Trent, which was awful.

There is a good collection here and it's free to look around. They have ceramics dating back hundreds of years. Also the Anglo Saxon collection is very good. Called the Stafford hoard I believe. There is a natural science section which is great for kids. There are species of birds and mammals on display, bugs and insects too. When visiting I had to pay because I visited for the star wars exhibition. The Toys strike back. It was very good to view this collection because I actually had some of these toys when I was kid, Great fun. There is a gift shop and also cafe. The cafe is definitely worth visiting as it is Also part of a spitfire gallery. They have a flight simulator there so you can discover what it was like flying a spitfire way back when. As for parking there is a carpark just opposite the museum and it's£1.50 for 1 hour, £2.50 for 2 hours or £3.50 for 12hours.

Fantastic museum, my first visit and impressed with how big is was, had a nice cafe too and gift shop. Even had a natural history area with lots of info and animal displays. Children trails available.

Great place to visit. Free entry (but certainly worth a donation if you have it), chargeable parking options nearby. The Spitfire gallery is amazing, quickly looked around the other sections and there was plenty of interesting things to see. Cafe was reasonably priced and food was nice. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly. Will certainly return in the future.

Great museum with plenty to see - free entry too. Lots of exhibits from a Spitfire, to different pottery to most interesting the Stafford hoard. Nice cafe as well - friendly and helpful staff throughout.

Fantastic museum absolutely worth a visit. When the kids are off and pulling the house to bits this place is an afternoon well spent.

Really enjoyed the Museum and the food! So much to see and to Marvel at especially the Staffordshire Hoard and all the ceramics. And of course, the Spitfire!!

Love this local museum. It a great place to take kids and best of all it's FREE ADMISSION! The Spitfire is an amazing addition to the collection, definitely a high light. The museum also has a cafe and gift shop both are worth a visit.

Lovely Park in Stoke-on-Trent. UK. Large pond. Big open field and hill spaces to walk around. Large children's play area , ample parking ,shop and toilets ...the only spoilers are the criminal damaged carpark ticket machines and litter. We walked over the hills and didn't expect to be dodging broken glass within the grass there. Luckily didn't cut our dogs paws as she ran over it off lead before I saw it. Lots of beer cans and food wrapper rubbish dotted about ...a lovely park sadly spoilt by inconsiderate people yet again!

I Recently face painted an event here, parked in the potteries. It was a great community event and the park itself is good area with something for all the family.

Lovely walk around the lake with our dog. Nice little ice cream & drinks shop. Park for children & a skate board park for teenagers. There is a charge for parking but free spaces for blue badge holders

Loved visiting this place recently with my daughter. Brought back lots of lovely memories from the 90s when I was a kid and then a teenager. The cafe has been extended since the last time I was there and it has a good menu. We bought a bag of bird food from the cafe to feed the ducks while we walked round the lake. The ice creams looked amazing. We'll definitely have one when we visit again when the weather has warmed up.

A huge park with a lake in the middle, a playground and skateboard area too. A coffee shop offering slushes is also located in the park. White a nice place to spend a spring or sunny afternoon. Suitable for everyone.

Beautiful park in the centre of the city! Great for my mobility walker as the car park overlooks the lake and the paths are level and smooth. There is a public toilet and cafe near the car park. The lake has a little island in the middle of it and has lots of geese, ducks and gulls. A highly recommended place to visit with family.

Decided to go with family and puppy the other day for a picnic in the snow. The frozen fingers were well worth it! Beautiful place and well worth the visit. Popped into the café afterwards to warm up with some hot chocolate and the owner (or manager, unsure which) was absolutely lovely. Facilities are a bit basic but service was fantastic. It is also dog-friendly, which our puppy appreciated as his paws were quite chilly!Met a lovely couple who had a big chocolate Labrador and we chatted to them while the dogs shared a couple of sausages. Really great day out 😊

All dishes were very healthy and full of flavour! Amazing atmosphere, friendly staff and great music. We ordered the Mezze plant board which was super delicious! It came with warm pita, hummus, olives, oranges, jack fruit and sun-dried tomatoes which were all very fresh and tasty. We then all ordered the Buddha bowl. Big portion and fresh ingredients that all worked well together. A must have!

First time visiting here. We had pre booked and would recommend doing so as they only had tables outside available when other guests were turning up. Food was delicious ... had the chicken and waffles. Did need extra syrup on the side but I asked for some and they delivered. Great choice of drinks too.

A nice lil' place in the Cultural Quarter. The coffee is nice and the Raspberry Cheesecake French Toast is great! It's got a nice industrial -stripped down vibe to it and they have lovely staff. Social distancing measures in play, and surfaces properly sanitised after each patron / table leaves, and they ensure everyone checks in. Definitely puts my mind at ease dining in here. Great for dates and bubble catch ups.

Absolutely loved this place. Stumbled upon by chance, haven’t visited this part of Hanley for years. The bar was very clean and well presented. They’ve done well with the space and decor. The staff (a youngish lad, with blonde hair) served us a few minutes before the kitchen closed. Very professional, very welcoming… I know how annoying it can be to serve guests a few minutes before the kitchen closes. I ordered a full English and it was magnificent. Hash browns were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside soft in the middle, full of flavour. The tomato’s were fresh, can tell the kitchen uses quality ingredients (Class A). The portion was just the right size anymore and I’d not have eaten it, any less and I’d have felt disappointed… just right. The coffee was great, it was made with care! My only criticism (and this is strictly personal preference) I wish they served fried bread 😂

Delicious food and great presentation. The service was a bit slow but it was also quite full so I give them that. We were asked if we had reservation and because we didn't we stayed in a longer table upstairs. No problem for us, but made me think: Next time we need to make a reservation. I had the chorizo toast and my partner had the anyway toast with added bacon, both delicious, I loved that the chorizo one had a bit of a taste of lime, really well thought. The coffee wasn't exactly great, I usually have expresso with no sugar, so I'm picky with the taste, but the latte my partner had, was alright. Would definitely recommend the place, great food.

We have been able to enjoy some fantastic food and service while visiting the area. This place stands out as exceptional. Central location. Quirky but not over the top decor. Excellent coffee. Attentive service (but clearly a little understaffed at the moment, along with recruiting posters in the windows). Fantastic and beautifully presented food. Cooked fresh to perfection. You cannot ask for better. It is the mark of a great venue in a well stocked and competitive city centre that you have to book in advance if you want to eat here in the evening. Highly recommended and totally worth the effort of finding it.

We love it here and go at least once a month, it's not just a healthy gimmick, the food is really good quality, creative and interesting too! Really great place for vegans and gluten free 🕊️

I visited Roberto’s Pizza House last night and overall had a lovely evening. For a starter, I chose the Caprese salad, usually one of my favorites, but unfortunately, I would only rate it 2/10. The tomatoes had no flavor at all and tasted like plastic. Honestly, I think it would be better to remove this dish from the menu if the quality of ingredients can’t be improved. On a positive note, I tried the Lobster Agnellotti with salmon sauce, and it was truly delicious. The Spaghetti Carbonara is not prepared in the traditional Italian way, but it was still very tasty and enjoyable. For dessert, I ordered the Tiramisu, which I would rate 7/10. The flavor was good, but the ladyfingers were quite dry, which took away from the overall texture. What really stood out was the staff - extremely friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. Their hospitality made the evening special, and despite the small issues with some dishes, we had a wonderful time. With a few improvements in the menu quality, this place could easily become a top spot for Italian dining.

We had this place on the list for some time and we gave it a go tonight. The place is loud and extremely warm, but overall affordable. Food on the other side, unfortunately didn’t excite us as much as we expected. The pasta were certainly all in the same kind of sauces and the white sauce just pure double cream with no trace of actual cooking sauce of frying some onion with garlic and the mushroom etc and make it a sauce out of it for the spaghetti funghi. It tasted like they boil the pasta and just threw the double cream on with some mushrooms and that was that. Same with the bolognese sauce, just canned tomatoes, and the lasagna sheets and cannelloni were overcooked and mushy. This is not real italian food, they don’t even have a proper wood fire for pizzas either. The service, terrible from start to end, with a team of 10 people not facing the small establishment service, just one single waitress that actually knew what to do, and the rest were just walking around. Plus, the drinks didn’t come on a tray, and the server had her fingers all over the rim of the glasses instead of holding the glasses from the middle. They didn’t have a clue about dishes, drinks, just walking around, waited ages for the bill, it took 5 people to ask for it, not stopping when you say stop at pepper nor parmezan just to finish off the spoons, certainly not professional and not the friendly service that you get in Italy and hospitality that Italians are known for. The only good thing out of the whole experience were the desserts, and the cheesecakes were delicious. Shame as it looked like it had a lot of potential.

On Saturday my Girlfriend and I had tea at Robertos following a matinee at the theatre. The restaurant was very busy at this time but the service was tremendous, the staff were very polite and slik with their duties, couldn't fault them. We had a 3 course and both of us were very impressed with with our choices. Brilliant service and food. Definately going again.

We had a great evening tonight, we booked quite late on and we were offered a table 8:00. Great welcome , drinks were served quickly and the staff were really friendly and attentive. Although a busy evening Plates and cutlery were changed and drinks were topped up all the time. Pepper and cheese offered with every course , we were so impressed the kids said how good the service was , there was a girl with an Italian accent and a lady with a southern accent who were really great ,thanks again! A real family Italian experience. This place reminds me of an Italian restaurant straight out of a Disney film like lady and the tramp feel , we love it.

Never been before despite having lived close my whole life. Food was amazing! Pizza came a little bit greasy but can look over as it still tastes good! The Seafood pancakes are my recommendation!

Came here after seeing some very positive reviews, and now i understand why. I came with a couple of friends and we all loved it. Quiet and familiar but also very cheerful. The waiters were extremely kind (I had also the occasion to speak Italian with one of them to impress one the friends hehe). The service seems also fast. Overall really amazing place. Very satisfied. P.S. The menus were extremely huge, not very practical to read on the table. I suggest to make them smaller 😜

The food was great, and the free cocktail (which you can claim on the website) was a nice touch. We had a fish pie and a mushroom pizza. The pizza was good, although nothing out of the ordinary, but the fish pie was absolutely delicious. The prices are a bit high given the average for Stoke-on-Trent, but they offer you a much better deal if you get a pre-set menu, which we didn't. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were absolutely amazing, some of the nicest ladies I have ever met!

Excellent service and tasty food. The 2 course lunch meals are a very good price but generally you won't get quite as much food compared to ordering one of the regular mains(although obviously you get a bit of variety) so if you're feeling hungry I'd go for a main. The milkshakes, although nice, are served in quite a thin glass so you may not get as much as you'd expect. Be sure to ask for a jug of tap water for the table. Overall a very good experience and I will likely be returning at some point in the future.

Wasn't expecting it to be so good. The service was good. Very attentive staff. For starters I had the honey chicken skewers and the double burger with fries for my main. The starter was perfect and had chilli sauce which was luscious. The burger was very big, juicy and nice. Couldn't have dessert because I was so full. I had an oreo Milkshake too which was nice, its not for everyone. It had an extra flavor which I'm not sure what it was but it tasted nutty/oaty. My date did not like it. The atmosphere was quite and chilled which I personally thing is always nice. Good selection of music too. Didn't take great pictures though.

Wow! Seriously, Wow! Why is this place not the first name that pops up on the advisor of trips? In the mood for a reasonable steak dinner not too far from my hotel, I was despondent when the aforementioned website listed establishments a goodly distance away. I gave up and was ambling through the town centre en route to The Potteries when I stumbled upon this place. I read the menu on a hunch and spotted the serious charcoal grilled bovine selection. Once inside, I opted for the ribeye and was rewarded with an intensely flavourful cut of delicately seared beef. Washed down with a glass of their reasonably priced house plonk, my only regret was asking for the Stilton jus. Although silky and with just the right amount of stiltonific pungency, it detracted from the sheer juicy ecstasy from masticating that aforementioned ribeye. Mention must be made of the warm and friendly staff and mellow environment. The bar is satisfactory and the cocktail selection is not overwhelmingly adventurous. Suffice it to say that celebrants will not be disappointed.

Poor quality Restaurant! And if you like old dirty tables, empty candles, bad cooked food, bad personal attitude, expensive and poor quality food, go there! but after this experience I don't recommend to anyone!

Nice and stylish place! Good variety of drinks, tasty food and lovely desserts. The ambiance is very nice as well with good music in the background. Very helpful staff.

The interior design of this place is really cool and I personally really liked it, the 'bushes' with the lights are a great touch. The atmosphere is great and the staff are very friendly and polite. The food is great, the beef burger was delicious and very filling. The prices are a bit high but the quality of the food is well worth it. Our food was bought to is within 5-10 minutes of ordering but we were one of only 3 tables there at the time. The choice of food wasn't amazing and could get repetitive after multiple visits but otherwise is fine. If you sit near the door to the stairs that lead to the toilets and the door is left open there is a bit of a cold draft. The waiters didn't take away the extra cutlery and wine glasses that weren't being used but those are only small things. In general a very good place to eat with family and friends.

Visited with family on two occasions. Gluten and dairy free options are exceptional and allergies are extremely well catered for. Everyone was so pleased with their food, the service and the atmosphere. Portion sizes and the price of food and drink is great. We will definitely be returning. Family friendly pub, accommodated us bringing the baby on both occasions.

Booked in for Mother's Day and cannot fault the food whatsoever. Not very often that you get both vegan AND gluten free options on the menu, especially for a roast dinner. But they delivered. The food was brilliant - from starter to main to pudding. Highly recommended.

Went to masons arms for the first time since I was a teenager over 50 years , for a Sunday dinner av to admit it was Fabulous unbelievable amount of food , service great lovely friendly staff , everyone in the pub very friendly , will definitely go again , next time will only ask for one tray of veg ie broc, cauli, cabbage & green beans, 2 was to much but great value for money if u have a big Appetite , Sweet was amazing , Generally we had a great day talking with other diners & staff .

We found the Masons Arms whilst looking for a venue that catered for Gluten Free. All I can say is WOW…….. What attention to detail. Fabulous food, great service and attention to detail. Gave us confidence as a family that they know how to cater for specific dietary needs. We had a wonderful Sunday lunch. So much choice and will definitely be back.
