Vigo in 3 days

If you only have 3 days to spend in Vigo, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Vigo combines a busy Atlantic port city with easy access to some of Galicia’s best coastal scenery. Visitors can stroll its historic Casco Vello, sample fresh seafood in the old fishing quarter of O Berbés, and enjoy beaches such as Samil along the Ría de Vigo. The city is also the main gateway to the Cíes Islands in the Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park, known for clear waters and white-sand shores. Maritime museums, contemporary galleries, and a lively bar and tapas scene round out its urban appeal.
With favorites like Restaurante Silabario, Monumento a Jules Verne, and Centro Comercial Travesia de Vigo, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like El Mosquito vigo and La Carbonara so you can get the best taste of Vigo while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

Shopping mall
Centro Comercial A Laxe is a modern shopping center located on the waterfront in Vigo. It offers a variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options for visitors. One of its unique features is the rooftop terrace that provides stunning views of the city and the nearby bay. The center is conveniently situated near the port where cruises and ferries arrive, making it easily accessible for tourists.
A busy commercial port as well as a stopping place for cruise ships. That being so it doesn't subtract from vigo still having the feel of its old town along with many new fashionable shops. Well worth a visit. Even on a misty day a place of history and modern day living.
Ian B — Google review
Was on a cruise and our ship docked at Vigo seaport. The A Laxe shopping centre is directly by the port as you get out. Nice mall with restaurants and a lot of people selling all sorts of merchandise near the shopping centre. Had a good wander round and saw some shops inside the mall. Was able to access a path leading to the city centre from the top floor of the mall so decided to stroll into the city centre. Had a refreshing Bubble tea drink at a Bubble tea shop. Lovely day overall as the weather was also very good. 😍 🤩 👌🏾
Debakins2 — Google review
I bought a cottom candy from a vending machine to my daugther, the machine was broken without a sign and there was no one from management to complain to. I lost 3 euros and my daughter crying because of this. The center seems to be abandoned. A lot of closed stores and there are almost no places to eat.
João G — Google review
This modern three levels mall is very well located just in the waterfront by the Marina area in Vigo and has a good variety of stores, restaurants and cafeterias to serve locals and all the tourists that arrive in the mayority of the cruises. The scenic views are spectacular and the sunsets stunning!!
Maria F — Google review
So cute, scenic shopping mall with a lot to offer!! Lovely places to eat with seriously yummy food which is so delicious with excellent enchanting views! Christmassy at the moment with it’s sweet decorations and large tree on the ground floor!
Brett — Google review
Very hilly here, but the shopping centre has a lift and a bridge taking you to the top of the town. Shopping centre was OK, same as any other, but the views are amazing.
Judith S — Google review
Nice to do some shopping and have a cup of coffee with your friends especially when it's raining a lot. There's a terrace with a spectacular view, come to enjoy the sunset!

Mercado da Pedra, located in the historic town center, is a bustling market known for its extensive selection of seafood. The market houses several eateries offering fresh oysters and other seafood delicacies at reasonable prices. In addition to seafood, the market also offers local specialty items and deli products. Visitors can explore nearby shopping streets with unique Galician crafts and products. The area is lined with seafood restaurants and souvenir shops, providing a lively atmosphere for visitors to enjoy.
Love this place, few minutes walk from the port Amazing fresh fish all cooked to order. Great prices and good service.
Sarah B — Google review
An alley with several seafood restaurants. Gets a good atmosphere when the place is crowded. Chefs prepare fresh oysters while you watch. Take care of the handbag hawkers in the area. Souvenir shops also nearby.
Vincent O — Google review
Great place for ourdoor dining. The gallego seafood paella was delicious, had a lot of different seafood and not too heavy with rice.
Phyllis H — Google review
Messy place 🤨 much better places nearby. And... Avoid these oysters. Verms included 🤮
Fernando M — Google review
The square was by the mercado was under construction leaching to a low score on this visit. The oysters were a bit too salty and left a bad after taste. I love oysters, so it was disappointing.
Jonathan C — Google review
Great for shopping, dining, and people watching!
Perry S — Google review
Fabulous little treat to find, moments from the shopping main street and walking distance to the port. Old fashioned and typically Spanish street selling souvenirs, a few coffee shops and cafe's. The souvenir shops are well stocked and not expensive, a brilliant little distraction and find while visiting Vigo.
Matthew B — Google review
Nice market to visit but don't expect too much. It is very small, with some shops, popular with tourists, although it was not as we expected. The seafood is definitely the highlight so go if you want to have lunch or if you want to taste some fresh octopus and oysters. It is interesting because it seems historic but it seems forgotten, in my opinion, it is not a landmark.

Billeteira Mar de Ons - Estación Marítima de Vigo is highly recommended for its excellent communication and accommodating staff. Despite a cancellation due to weather conditions, the situation was handled well with a refund and the opportunity to rebook for the next day. The ferry service to Cies Island during winter is praised, with travelers enjoying complimentary cider and Roscon de Reyes on their journey back. Customers appreciate the professional service, smooth online experience, and helpful in-person ticket purchase.
Ruben was very insightful and funny. Liked his knowledge of the local floral and fauna. Great little tour before we could go off and explore on our own. Well worth the visit to the beautiful Cies islands and proper value for money.
Rebecca D — Google review
Unfortunately, I found Mar de Ons’ policy to be deeply unfair. It may be legal under Spanish legislation, but they do not allow passengers to cancel after 14 days and changes are only possible if requested more than 5 days in advance. This leaves customers stuck in unforeseen situations, with no flexibility. There is a clear imbalance, passengers have no right to cancel or modify, even if willing to pay more, while the company reserves full freedom to cancel at any time. It goes against consumer interests and it is a poor costumer service and the costumer service is a waste of out time with standard replies… If you are looking for more flexible options, I suggest booking other Navieras, which often offers a “Cancel for Any Reason” option, allowing refunds even if the passenger changes plans, although subject to specific fees and conditions. I hope this helps other international travelers make more informed choices!

O Sereo is a famous steel sculpture in Vigo, known as the 'Fish Man,' created by Francisco Leiro. It stands in Plaza Porta do Sol and represents Galician culture. The area around it is perfect for breakfast and people-watching, with a vibrant atmosphere. While some find the statue beautiful, others consider it ugly but still acknowledge its significance as a reference point in the city center.
Amazing place where you can experience real Gallego way of live, tasting tapas with friends, shopping or just strolling up and down the street. Had a delicious tabua de embutidos and a beer at one of the esplanadas. O Sereo is a beautiful sculpture standing in the middle of the car free street and plaza.

I was in Vigo on New Year’s Eve 2025, and I had a disappointing experience. This year, the city’s mayor decided not to hold New Year’s fireworks or organize any celebrations in the city. Although the Christmas lights were nice, they were similar to those in other cities and didn’t stand out much. What was particularly frustrating was the lack of any announcement for visitors from other cities about the absence of New Year’s Eve celebrations. This was quite disappointing and disrespectful to those who came to enjoy the festivities.
Sara G — Google review
Very pleasant. All except for one place called Jamaica coffee experience. If you can call it an experience more like a joke. Waited over an hour and that's with me speaking to the waitress twice. Absolutely waist of time totaly brain dead so keep away. Here is a picture of the place .

If you think it's a beautiful piece of art try going to the bus stop in front of it and looking into its eyes! Then, tell me if you still think so...I think it's an ugly statue but a place you must know because it's a reference point. It's right in the center of the city.

Parque Monte do Castro is a stunning park surrounding the El Castro fortress, featuring gardens, terraces, and shaded paths. The park offers panoramic views of the city from its mountain top location. Visitors can explore an Iberian settlement with Bronze Age dwellings on the lower slope. It's a great option for those who prefer a less strenuous experience compared to the nearby fortress.
Good place to catch sunset - just a 15 Minute walk up after a 10-15 walk from the cathedral. Lots of sitting areas as well to enjoy a picnic. Next time i would go with a picnic basket

Best spot, to see the sunset in Vigo! You can see all of the ocean, the Cies Islands, the bridge! I totally recommend it to everyone. Don't go without a cerveza! For picknick with your friends, it's the best as well!! Also, you can run and do sports around it, the best to do in the sunrise or sunset;)
Horváth J — Google review
At the top of the mountain, right in the middle of the fortress that crowns it, some walls from the 17th century that today are the best vantage point of Vigo and the estuary to the Atlantic Ocean. Within these walls are the castle of O Castro and its gardens, as well as sculptures such as the monument to Vigo by Camilo Nogueira or the tribute to the medieval poet Martín Codax. Walking down the paths bordering the fortifications towards the historic quarter, you will come to a new vantage point where the Rande Galleons Monument is located.. It consists of anchors and various cannons that were found from three of the dozens of ships sunk in the Vigo estuary during the Battle of the Rande in 1702, when the Anglo-Dutch fleet and a Spanish fleet escorted by a French collided. Very interesting place, a gem in history.

El Mosquito Vigo is a renowned restaurant that has been serving traditional Galician cuisine for over 80 years. The upscale ambiance and whitewashed room with an exposed stone wall provide the perfect setting to enjoy Spanish wine and delectable dishes such as mussels, empanadas, steaks, fish filets, and home-style desserts.
We came here for dinner and it was such a pleasant surprise experience, the atmosphere is very nicely lit, the waitress super nice and friendly, the food was very good and the percebes were a must, we also had a nice lamb and my partner had the fish monk very nice as well, we ended the dinner with a nice home made Santiago tart and really nice Albariño. Would definitely comeback

If I could give a 6 star rating, this would be the place! Amazing seafood. From appetizers through to the coffee schnapps at end the night, just wonderful! Service was AMAZING! Helping us with our Spanish while peaking very good English, she made meal most enjoyable. Her description of every course guided us all to something on the menu. A party of 5, 3 had seafood, 1 had a steak, and 1 had a vegetarian dish. We tried 3 of the deserts w/ the “French toast” as everyone’s favorite. I had the grilled, wild turbot, and also pictured is the vegetables over rice and the Arroz de monkfish and prawns.
Jim T — Google review
To be honest, this is a very expensive place. Expect to spend around €40–€60 per person depending on what you order. While the food quality and service are excellent, some guests feel the pricing is a bit steep for the overall setting, which hasn’t been modernized much over the years. “Top food, but pricey. The place could use some renovation.” The quality of the food is absolutely top-tier. From fresh oysters, scallops, and barnacles to Galician-style octopus and perfectly cooked fish and seafood rice dishes, everything is sourced locally and served with care. They focus on seasonal products, traditional recipes, and fresh seafood straight from the Ría de Vigo. Dishes like the rice with lobster, grilled razor clams, and classic empanadas are standouts. Overall is a very good restaurant.

The best food we had while in Galiza. The rice is to die for, the sea bass was grilled to perfection, and their wine recommendation was spot on. Plus there were all sorts of delicious mini starters. The service was perfect too. Everyone was just so nice. We ate indoors. It was raining and im not sure they have an outdoors area, but it the room was warm and welcoming. I strongly recommend

My wife and I spent 4 weeks in Portugal and Spain walking the Camino and doing a little extra sight seeing. This restaurant was recommended by the attendant at our hotel. I am so glad we took her advice. This was by far the best meal we had during our entire visit and the best meal we’ve had anywhere this year. The appetizer (carpaccio…) looked like no dish I’ve ever had, with the fish sliced so thin that it almost looked like a film. It also tasted like nothing I’ve ever had. The flavors were surprising, but perfectly balanced. Our main dish (lubina…) was expertly separated from the bones at our table by the waiter. I couldn’t stop eating because it was so good. Between the bottle of wine, bread, appetizer, complementary appetizer, and the main course, we were stuffed, but I couldn’t leave without sampling a dessert. It was equally amazing. The restaurant staff worked together harmoniously to produce not just an amazing meal, but a truly extraordinary dining experience. The only meal I can compare it to anywhere is a Michelin star restaurant in the states that we’ve eaten at only a few times over many years due to its expense. El Mosquito was similar in overall quality at a fraction of the price. I would never miss the opportunity to eat there again. Finally, lest you think I have some reason to invent this review, rest assured that’s not the case. I have no connection of any kind to this restaurant, other than being a very happy customer.

(Translated by Google) Well the truth is I was very disappointed, I went once and I was amazed, excellent service and fast food, I came back with all the excitement to relive the moment and nothing like what I experienced, very distracted staff, it took a long time for the food to come despite there being only us and one other table, I ordered 2 entrecotes well done but it seemed the cook did not know the point of the meat, we returned it once and it seemed he did not understand and it was basically the same, we ordered a type of pasta and they brought what they wanted, you almost had to ask for help to get a drink, the truth is I will not return, it is a shame because the first time it was excellent, I think they need to improve a lot and fix the place, it is very, very exaggeratedly neglected, a little more and if it is an abandoned place and you cannot differentiate it from one that is in use, and check the electrical connection upstairs as it has a water leak right where the high voltage cables are, that is a very big danger, I WILL NOT RETURN (Original) Bueno la verdad me quedé muy decepcionado, fui una vez y quedé maravillado exelente servicio y comida rápido, volví con toda la ilusión para revivir el momento y nada parecido a lo vivido , personal muy distraído, tardo en venir la comida a pesar de solo estar nosotros y otra mesa más , pedido 2 entrecot bien hecho pero como que el cocinero no sabe el punto de la carne , la devolvimos 1 ves y como que no lo entendió y estaba básicamente igual , pedimos un tipo de pasta y trajeron la que ellos quisieron, casi que había que pedir ayuda para que te traigan una bebida, la verdad no volveré más una pena por qué la primera vez fue excelente, yo creo que les falta mucho mejorar y arreglar el local está muy muy exageradamente descuidado, un poco más y si es un local abandonado y no los diferencias de uno que está en uso , y revisar la conexión eléctrica de la parte de arriba que tiene una filtración de agua justo donde están los cables de alta tensión eso es un peligro muy grande, NO VOLVERÉ

Restaurant O Porton is situated in a prime location on Rua da Ostras or Fishermans Street, near the center of Vigo and close to the coast. The restaurant specializes in fresh seafood and offers a variety of dishes such as mariscada for 40 euros, parrillada for 50 euros, and pulpo for 16 euros.
Had a fantastic seafood lunch, the owner is very friendly and so is the staff. There were 5 of us ladies and we shared a seafood platter for four people. Two ladies had the galician soup, very hearty, but a little salty. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely go back if I am in the area.

Great restaurant with amazing food and wide variety of options ( also vegetarian) ! Waiting times could be longer but the food was amazing and affordable! Service was excellent but English was hardly spoken! Anyways we are satisfied and we warmly recommend this restaurant!

Wow! Fantastic atmosphere, incredible seafood and overall, brilliant. Only complain is that the sangria wasn’t to our taste but everything else - and I mean everything - was perfect!

Food was great (it took it‘s time, but was fresh made). I‘ve ordered a Paella for 1Person. It was a very big portion, but it seems it was no Problem to take the Rest with me. The order were attentive and friendly, although the Restaurant was quite full so it was a Little Bit busy there. I think, it‘s nearly the only Restaurant where you can order a Paella just for one Person, thank you for that! Parkspaces around the city.

Excellent Paella, good service and great management, went for dinner and everything went right. Thank you so much!
Richard D — Google review
Unfortunately, our experience wasn’t that great. The pulpo with vinaigrette was overcooked and chewy, while the pimientos were the highlight of the evening – really tasty. We also had the entrecôte with fries, which was served far too rare despite being ordered medium. The fries themselves were way too greasy. The sole was okay, nothing special. Overall, the service was fine, but the food didn’t live up to expectations and on top of that it was pricy – for us, not more than 3 stars.
Amelie — Google review
We had 9 people and they were able to accommodate all of us with ease. We ended up ordering the four-person fish platter and the three-person paella with scallops — both were incredible, but the paella was to die for. Highly recommend this place.

Very interesting mall that is less than a year old. Beautiful bathrooms, a variety of places to eat and shop. I looked in Primark, a very inexpensive basic clothing, accessory store that sells everything super cheap for everyone. I'd put them below an H & M which was also there. Too bad no Zara. They also have an outdoor rooftop with seating.

In Vigo, Spain, the Monumento a Jules Verne is a must-see attraction. The monument features a sculpture of the famous author sitting on the tentacles of a sea creature, inspired by his novel '20,000 Leagues Under the Sea,' which mentions the treasures of sunken galleons in the Bay of Vigo. Nearby, visitors can also take selfies with the El Sireno mermaid statue.
Google wanted a review, so here it is. He looks nice, and I guess you can't prove you were in Vigo if you don't get a picture with him but he is not exciting, nor does he do much. He just pretty much sits there.

The Bay of Vigo was mentioned in the book “20 000 Leagues Under the Sea” written by Jules Verne. After publishing his book, he visited the city of Vigo aboard his yacht Saint Michel III. The bronze sculpture, made in 2005, was to commemorate to centenary of the death of the writer.

This shopping centre provides a good selection of clothing, eateries and other shops. It is hard to navigate to by foot, especially if coming from the local park. The shopping centre is very clean and modern. There are plenty of areas to sit to relax from shopping. There is a cinema and activities for young adults. There is also a supermarket. It is a pretty standard affair for a shopping centre, but it is useful for the area.

Bar Komercio is a classic spot located on Calle Montero Rios, near the Maritime station in Vigo. It offers excellent cuisine featuring the best meat and fish of the day, expertly prepared with quality ingredients. While it's known for its beer, it's advisable to inquire about specific dishes before ordering. The staff is friendly and the place is kept clean. Although there were some hiccups with service, visitors enjoyed the fantastic food and atmosphere while visiting Spain with friends.
Patatas bravas, sangria, and local cheeses plate all delicious. Our second visit here. It pays to speak Spanish. Menu is with QR code.

Very nice sidewalk eating in Vigo! I think the staff were very busy as this was one of the few places open on Monday. Our server was patient with our broken Spanish and use of the Internet to describe our requests. Some items on the menu were unavailable, but easily substituted with others that were delicious and well prepared. I had the local Gallician octopus and enjoyed that. The croquettes were also great and the calamari was fantastic!
Patrick A — Google review
They did not had octopus, which is the most famous dish to eat in Vigo, so I would ask first next time before sitting. Staff is very great and the place is very clean. They did get lost with people so I had to go and look and pay for my bill by myself. But I would go again.
Manuel A — Google review
Probably one of the worst if not the worst restaurant I've been too. Horrible service. They missed my order of ribs completely and by the time I would have gotten it everyone finished their meals. Ribs should have been the easiest thing to bring out. Expensive when sharing as well for what you get which was not much. We went with a decent sized group which they should have easily managed. Some had been here before. The croquettas were meh. The shrimp was ok. The risotto rice was also ok but salty and lacked flavor. The desserts were brutal. The crapes were all left un eaten by the group. The whipped cream and strawberries were the only thing that was good but even that was expensive for what u get. I'd never go back here. To bad, as the location is prime and the patio and inside resto looked good. Def pass, find another place to eat as there are so many near by.

Great atmosphere, service is slow, cold and don’t even get me started on the seafood. Tortilla , jamon and ventresca are good but if you want to have good seafood go anywhere else. I think I had the worst gambas ever. Way too expensive for the quality served.

The restaurant boasts an extensive wine selection and offers three distinct menus showcasing the finest seafood, meats, and desserts.
Amazing dinner, beautiful atmosphere, outstanding service. Can't say enough about the beautifully balanced dishes, the amazing textures and local ingredients. The wine pairing was on the spot and the sommelière really knows what she does. Will definitely come again, it was an evening to remember.

We’ve been a bit worried about the pre-set menu size, as it came with so many dishes, but it was just perfect for us - all the dishes were delicious and relatively small, so we could eat them all. The staff was very polite and attentive, helped to pair the food with great wine choices. Highly recommend this Michelin restaurant!

Amazing restaurant with very nice staff and an enticing menu. I had a hard time choosing. I ended up following my server’s suggestion and didn’t regret it a bit. All dishes were mouthwatering. Presentation was outstanding too. This place should be on everyone’s list. Don’t miss it.

We had a phenomenal experience at Silabario to celebrate my birthday. We had the largest tasting menu, the Solaina, with wine pairing - and it was absolutely worth it. Each dish was exquisite, but the pairing elevated each excellent dish to an entirely new level. All the staff were attentive and friendly, but we would love to especially thank our sommelier who was a joy to speak to and whose passion for her craft and wines made the experience even more enjoyable. They also took the initiative to give me a little candle in our last dessert when they found out it was my birthday, which I was very touched by. I wish I lived closer to Vigo so I could come back again and again!

Amazing food and great sommelier. Not 5 ⭐️ as the dishes in the Soleiana menu where not 100% consistent. Some amazing highlights (rooster, squid, appetizer bites), but also some misses (clam, oversalted sole). Recommended nonetheless also for the great location. P.S. the desserts were all 5 🌟.

Another outstanding meal at Silbario. Easily the best restaurant in Galicia, if not the top restaurant in Spain. There is always a diverse menu with different price options in varying levels of sophistication. I did the Raices meal with the wine pairing this last time and it was remarkable. I love the many different flavors and tastes that can come even within a single course. I include some photos of several highlights of the visit here, including a spider crab soup, which also has its own special bowl. Highly recommended. They need a second Michelin star.

Museo Quiñones de León, located in Castrelos park, is a traditional stately mansion turned into a museum showcasing the Galician aristocracy from the 18th to the 20th centuries. The museum features furniture, art, and valuable archaeological pieces that offer insight into the region's past. Visitors can explore rooms adorned with period furniture, lamps, and rugs while admiring one of the finest collections of Galician painting.
The Museo Municipal de Vigo Quiñones de León is a true hidden gem in Galicia, offering a perfect blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. Housed in a stunning 17th-century manor, the museum provides a fascinating journey through Vigo’s past, featuring an impressive collection of Galician art, archaeological artifacts, and period furnishings that transport visitors back in time. The exhibits are well-curated, making it an engaging experience for both history enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. What truly sets this museum apart, however, are its breathtaking gardens and parklands. The surrounding Castrelos Park is a beautifully maintained green space, perfect for a relaxing stroll or a peaceful retreat from the city’s bustle. The French-style gardens are particularly enchanting, with their symmetrical designs, fountains, and colorful flower beds that change with the seasons. The English garden offers a more naturalistic, romantic charm, making it a delightful spot for photography and quiet reflection. Whether you’re visiting for the art, the history, or simply to enjoy the peaceful surroundings, the Museo Municipal de Vigo Quiñones de León is an unmissable attraction in Vigo. The combination of cultural richness and stunning landscapes makes it an ideal place for families, couples, and solo travelers looking for a bit of inspiration. Highly recommended!

We were there on Sunday, the museum was closed, but the area was very beautiful. Lots of greenery, flowers and the ancient castle is very beautiful and picturesque.

A great discovery! On the first floor there is a little archeological exhibition, the museum is very well taken care of, you can visit all the different rooms and see the paintings. Outside there is an amazing French and English style gardens. The little duck pond was a lovely surprise.

Very nice museum in Vigo. There is a small archeological exposition. The museum, paintings and the rooms were a great surprise! My kids loved the visit.

Stunning castle with marvelous gardens to have a relaxing walk or make your wedding album pics. Open all year.
Montse L — Google review
Four aspects made this an interesting and worthwhile visit : the House itself, styled, when built, on an English 18th Century Manor House; the collection of paintings; the archeological collection of artifacts from paleolithic to Roman (I was especially impressed by the collection of 2nd century stellie (grave stones) and the Latin inscriptions upon them); and the extensive gardens and surrounding parkland. Free entry and free parking.

Didn't go inside, but the gardens alone are worth the trip

Concatedral - Basílica de Santa María de Vigo is a neoclassical church with a simple facade, adorned with frescoes and featuring a barrel-vaulted ceiling. Nestled in the old town center, its unassuming exterior gives way to a stunning mosaic interior. The architecture and tile decoration bear resemblance to those of neighboring Portugal due to their historical ties.
Beautiful Cathedral, very peaceful place to pray or meditate.

Not much to look at from outside but lovely inside quite and peaceful... Not happy some Spanish woman told my very ill uncle to shut up and shook some beads at him, throat cancer so he can't talk proper and can't eat or drink bless him, but she went as soon as she came. But still glad we visted

Lovely "concatedral", bigger than a church which homes "Cristo de la Victoria", patron of the city and which appeared on the beach found by the local fishermen many years back. Beautiful inside with great art work and in the heart of the old city.

Nestled in the alleys of the Old Town, not easily found unless you look up for the spires ( or use Google maps 😁). A plain stone church with a modest inside - personally I find more fitting for the religion than the ornate and ostentatious alters we have seen in many other churches around Europe.

A mall with not much besides the supermarket. The Gran Via is close and has much more options regarding shops and restaurants. But the supermarket usually has the products that are already sold out in the other supermarkets of the same brand

Vigozoo, also known as Zoo de Vigo, is a small traditional zoo located about 10km from the city center. It is nestled in the beautiful surroundings of mount A Guia and offers a diverse range of mammals, reptiles, and birds. The zoo features an interesting nocturnal exhibit that showcases animals during their active nighttime hours. Visitors can enjoy various activities and educational programs suitable for all ages throughout the year.
The most active animals I have ever seen in a zoo. Very clean, well maintained. Best part is the animals have plenty of room in there spaces.

**WARNING AVOID THIS ZOO** Animals in poor condition. Cages are small, filthy and some even broken. Park in disarray, broken down benches. Birds and cats are heaving the most terrible and small environment. Boycot Vigozoo. This park should shut down and offer all the animals to parks that are capable of taking proper care of them.
Tme — Google review
My family and I decided to visit the zoo on a Saturday afternoon. If you have a child who is 3 years old or under they can enter for free, two adults cost around 12€. We looked at the map and headed towards the first stop. They had reptiles, insects, and birds…. it was lovely. Then we looked at the map to decide our next stop, we noticed that they had a lot of zones “under construction” which was a bit devastating. As we went from one place to another we could see that some animals were pacing around and wouldn’t stop. We came to the conclusion that maybe they were doing so because they were anxious or stressed. We didn’t get to see many animals because they were either napping or hiding.
Roxy R — Google review
We especially liked the fruit bats. We came in the afternoon and many animals were sleeping and could not be seen but towards the evening they woke up.
Ioana H — Google review
It was nice! It is kind of in the middle of nowhere, but it’s a good stop/detour if you’re doing the Camino Porugúes from Vigo. The staff was super friendly and gave us pointers on how to get back on trail. They also stamped our credenciales. Some animals did seem a little… neglected? Or sad, at least, but what do I know about animals? I’d most likely return, hopefully with all the renovations finished.

Taberna A Pedra is a down-to-earth tavern located on Rua Cesteiros 2, offering traditional Galician tapas and seafood dishes. It's a great place to enjoy fresh products such as razor clams, mussels, scallops, and padron peppers at very reasonable prices. The tavern provides a familiar atmosphere with quality cuisine and attentive service.
Vigo is renowned as the best place for seafood in Spain. We've certainly had the best chipirones and gambas al ajillo we've ever eaten right here. The wine is great and good value and the pigeons will appreciate any crumbs from the delicious bread.
Mitch L — Google review
Well it's in LP and therefore it must be good. Well me and my husband didn't agree, I found it otherly boring, he found it as described. We got a okay albarinho, a bit overpriced. Then scallops, made with neutral oil, and lime. Have gotten them better many places. Then sardines that was grilled in neutral oil And then squid boiled and driessel in neutral oil and paprika. No salt, pepper or anything. To me, yes very...natural.. but utterly boring. Don't wait I line for this one. All the others will serve the same or better.
Morten R — Google review
Lovely local place for lunch, tucked away down a small street (aren't they all) in the old town. Really tasty scallops and fried Gambas in a sizzling garlic oil, the bread is necessary, for once, to mop up chilli/garlic infused oil. Great service. It is busy and being in the old town in August will mean a constant stream of people walking past your outside table, so what. The bill was €43.00 for 2, including a tomato salad a bottle of mineral water a coke and coffee. We didn't book, but we did sit down before 1pm. I would go back, always the benchmark I think. Loved it. Go. Enjoy.
Matt W — Google review
10% base(tip) is added in my bill when I paid, I didn’t notice it’s a requirement, which is rare for Spanish restaurants. Besides, they sent wrong dish until I informed them then they know. Seafood is fresh as expected.
Jean C — Google review
I don’t even want to share photos. I am travelling in the north of Spain around one month and it is the most not worthy to stop for dinner. It is a pity for the reputation all this area has for good food that this place does not respect it. The only dish that was tasty was the padron’s peppers. All else (sardines, pulpo, anchovies in vinegar were bad.) The staff is friendly, the place is nice. But just do not bother to stop for dinner. Very disappointing.
Elena A — Google review
My first review in a long time. Here we go. To sum things up: just don't go there. Single word Galician item names on the menu might work if the waiter spoke passable English. Google translate largely failing, plus a waiter with minimal English, and quite possibly on something, made for an interesting experience. Food was brought out in a haphazard order and over a very long time, more than an hour. Probably due to the kitchen being a tiny thing in the back corner. The pulpo was not cleaned. The veal entrecote arrived rather raw looking, and had to be sent back, to come back cooked, but now dry. The veal Milanese was made of veal, true, but mediocre at best. To be fair, the accompanying fries tasted better than they looked. The floor was slick. Do not let the other innocents in there deceive you. Just. do. not. go. there. Final thought: the final total was cheap. Would've settled for a dinner.
Istvan F — Google review
Def a must visit eatery in Vigo! Do come early before they open at 8 or make reservation to avoid long wait time! I went there as a single traveler and had to go back twice so I can try more food. Jordan, the male staff speaks good English and was really friendly. The scallop, the octopus, and fried Sardine were amazing! The scallop, in particular was so fresh and flavour was on point! They charged for bread (EUR1.7) so opt out and let them know if you don’t need one so you can have more space for food. The only item I found slightly off was Padron pepper which is too bitter vs. what i have elsewhere throughout the trip.
Mook P — Google review
The food was incredible, we ordered the pulpo and pimientos de padrón. We had to wait about 15-20 minutes for a seat so I recommend a reservation. In summer it’s pretty hot so be prepared for that.

What a delightful experience for the mouth and for the eyes! Despite being an hour late for our reservation (because of the time change arriving from Portugal), they found us a spot at the chefs table…a we’re glad they did. We watched the skilled chef move with haste and purpose, but also grace and flair, as he prepared light, inventive, flavorful, and natural fish dishes. From the aguachile to gyozas to the mackerel, every dish made my wife and I look at each other and say “wow.” Finished the meal with a caramel/hazelnut pudding that was equally as inspired and a shot of caramel liqueur. The whole evening was wonderful.

Nico G — Google review
(Translated by Google) I'm updating my comment after the most recent response dated May 16, 2023. Dear Owner of Natural Pizza, Thank you for your response. I would like to clarify that my review refers specifically to the experience with the quality of the pizza I received, and not to the delivery service provided by Uber Eats, as I understand that is a separate entity. Regarding the quality of the pizza itself, I'm truly sorry, but I must stand by my opinion that the chicken pieces were burnt, as can clearly be seen in the photographs I shared. This fact led me to express my dissatisfaction in my review, as I believe it's important for establishments to ensure that their products are delivered in a timely manner and that customers are not presented in this manner. I understand that mistakes can happen, as I stated, and I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my review. However, as a customer, I have the responsibility to point out any inconvenience I experienced and express my dissatisfaction with the inconvenience caused, such as having to spend money elsewhere for dinner, and that, along with the above, is the reason for the one star. I couldn't eat it. I appreciate your communication and understanding in this matter. My intention is nothing other than constructive criticism, always respectful. There's always room for improvement, and a complaint like mine doesn't have to be negative if it serves to improve. I know that in other cases this doesn't happen, so I think it's important to say so. Best regards, and thank you again. Updating my comment following the restaurant's response on May 14, 2023. Thank you for your response to my review. However, I disagree with your response that my review is unfair and that the pizza is "just okay." As I mentioned in my review, the pizza I received had burnt bits, which can be hazardous to your health due to the presence of acrylamide, a toxic compound. I'm talking about absolutely charcoal-black meat scraps. I don't recommend even you eat them. Besides, I didn't even want to post the photos of the crust below; believe me when I say I was very diplomatic. I understand that mistakes can happen, and I'm not asking for a refund for my experience. However, I believe it's important for companies to take the quality of their products and customer satisfaction seriously. By denying the issue and dismissing my review, I feel my opinion and concern for food safety are not being respected. I hope that in the future, the establishment will take steps to ensure its products are of high quality and ensure its customers have a positive experience. PREVIOUS COMMENT: The pizza I ordered was burnt. I don't think customers should be served that way, and if something seems less than perfect for serving, it's best to repeat it.
