Porec in 5 days

If you only have 5 days to spend in Porec, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Poreč draws visitors with its UNESCO-listed Euphrasian Basilica, a remarkable complex of early Christian mosaics set in a compact Old Town of Roman streets and Venetian-era facades. The town sits on a scenic stretch of the Istrian coast, offering clear Adriatic waters, nearby islands, and a mix of pebble and rocky beaches. Cafés, wine bars, and konobas line the waterfront and side streets, showcasing Istrian seafood, truffles, and local wines. From Poreč, it’s easy to explore inland hilltop villages, cycle coastal paths, or take boat trips along the peninsula.
With favorites like Peškera, Bacchus, and Chili Fusion Streetfood, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Umi Asian streetfood and Pizzeria-bistro Birikin so you can get the best taste of Porec while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

Caverns & Caves
Jama - Grotta Baredine, located in Istria, Croatia, has been open to visitors since 1995. This karst cave offers guided tours through its 132-meter deep stalactite formations and five impressive halls. The cave is home to the human fish, a unique species endemic to the area. Visitors can also enjoy vintage tractor and pottery exhibits as well as an eatery surrounded by olive trees and a vineyard.
Nice cave to visit with all the family. The guides are really gentle and they provide a lot of interesting information about the site, also in a funny way for children too. We spent there about 2 hours. Next to the entrance there is also a good bar that serves coffee, drinks in general and sandwiches. The parking is for free, so you have to pay only for the guided tour.
Luca P — Google review
Very interesting cave that goes down 60 meters. Lots of stalagmites, stalactites, columns and other mineral formed cave features. The guide was very easy to understand and funny. The highlight was the human fish (Olm/aquatic salamander) at the bottom. I was able to get some great pictures of it. There is plenty of free parking and it was easy to get to from Rovinj by car. There is also a cave museum as part of the entry and a café for food and drinks. Highly recommend.
Chris Y — Google review
Small, but beautiful. If you're in the area, great opportunity to take some very nice photos and see proteus in person. The girl at the cash register was wonderful, going above and beyond to orchestrate our visit (2 adults with a big dog that couldn't enter) and the formation of groups so that we can go one after the other with no waiting time nor overlap, so one person was with the dog while the other was in the cave, and neither had to wait for too long. My guide (Ana) was embodiment of patience and calm, effortlessly switching between languages and answering all the extra questions. Lighting showcases the best of mineral formations (a lamp strategically placed behind one of "elephant's ears", for example, shows a streak of red pigment within the otherwise milky white mineral). Steep and wet, not good for people on wobbly legs. Temperature inside the first 3 or 4 rooms actually a bit higher than the advertised 14°C; on a hot day it felt refreshing rather than cold. Plenty of parking under the shade of trees and large covered sitting area. Bar right next to the cave entrance, serves good coffee and real homemade lemonade.
Lucija Š — Google review
Very fascinating inside view of a very deep cave close to Poreč. The guide takes you deep down in the cave where you can even see an old. A blind axleottle like animal that lives only in the deep caves of this area.
Ved R — Google review
Grotto Baredine is a cave full of stagmites and stalactites. To enter the cave you need to join a guided tour, so probably worth checking in advance for the times of tours in your preferred language. There are approximately 270 steps down into the cave as you move through each of the five chambers with your guide. The cave is pretty wide, but some of the steps/staircases are steep and wet so care should be taken. At the bottom of the cave live two olm salamanders. Worth visiting.
Nick — Google review
Great and funny guided tour, not too heavy, not exausting, especially in combination with old tractor exibition and other one, geological exibition at the same place. Super food and drink and souveneer offers, not expensive at all. Nice nature all around and some qnimals for kids too.
Igor V — Google review
Nice cave. Not the biggest one but worth visiting. The queue for the tickets can be 30 mins long and then you can wait 2h before you go inside, but they give you exact time. You can visit tractor museum in the mean time.
Vojtěch Z — Google review
Nice but nothing special. There should be a age restriction as small children aren't really capable of walking all the stairs up and down

This go-kart arena is excellent fun! We visited with our three kids and had a fantastic time. There are four different tracks with a variety of vehicles, making for an exciting and thrilling experience. They offer affordable tandem go-karts, as well as stronger and weaker go-karts, with separate tracks for adults and children. Additionally, there’s an amusement park and paintball nearby, making it a perfect destination for a full day of entertainment. Highly recommended!

Great team make our day. Super friendly staff clear rules, staff speaking in few languages and prices really fair. We took double quads as my kids are 6yo and 4yo. Was fantastic experience much better than in London. Recommended to everyone in every age We think going again tomorrow as we still on holiday For me 10/10
Kuba S — Google review
Nice place with very friendly staff and a very good coffee place. The go-carts are in a good condition. The only negative is that it is little bit too pricey. Spending 100 euro for 10 min for 4 people is too much. It would be worth it if the setup was different. Starting with a warm up of 5 min for example, deciding a pole position and then racing for 15 minutes. This is the setup that would be worth the money.
Dževad M — Google review
Had a really fun time at Motodrom Porec, but be vigilant! I’m normally a superior driver out on the roads, surpassing the speed limit and often finding myself in the need to honk at idiot drivers. So imagine my surprise when a few racers actually managed to beat me. Makes you wonder… do the karts differ? I mean, even a great driver can’t do much if they’re stuck in a Haas while others are in McLarens. Broken ego aside, the track was great, the bear was cold and the crowd was full of good looking guys 🫣😜
Rickard S — Google review
Great place to visit. Approach to the tracks (October 2025) is available only through approx. 1 kilometer of macadam road (gravel) due to works on the nearby roads. Once there the personnel is very friendly and professional. Tracks available according to the age and driving experience. Additional playgrounds and zip-line available for kids and family. Went there and enjoyed it very much. Great place to visit. Thx.
Portdatabase — Google review
Motodrom Poreč is a fun, well-run go-kart track just outside town—great for families or anyone craving a bit of speed. The karts are fast, the staff is friendly, and there are extra activities like paintball and quads if you want to make a day of it. A bit pricey for short rides, but totally worth it if you go all in.
Nicholas D — Google review
Some great night time karting here, greet facilities , well maintained karts for kids and adults. A tad pricey for super karts

Separated tracks for family and children. Nice go-carts, in more power class. Double carts on every track so you can take your child on adrenaline adventure! My size is 3xl+ but i fitted in the cart too. Price is fair, nice service!

Papago Park in Croatia, just outside Porec, is a sprawling 30,000 square meter park that houses over 200 birds from 30 different species. Visitors can marvel at the colorful macaws, parrots of various kinds, waterfowl, and other exotic bird species. The park's lush forest provides a cool respite from the Croatian summer heat and offers ample seating areas for relaxation. The friendly staff are knowledgeable about the birds and provide information in English.
Nice, clean park in the shadows of a forest. The birds are well kept. There is a small buffet, too.
Nóra D — Google review
The Papago park is OK to spend some time during your discovery of Istria. However it is not so big so in 1 - 2 hours you can go through. It depends how long you admire their birds... if you have children with you... 4 of 5 stars because of price. With a couple of euros more you can spend a lot of time in ZOO Ljubljana.
Marko Š — Google review
A very good amount of different birds! Nice place for chill out in shades while walking thru park, aswell with resting place (drinks,ice-cream)
Tiji V — Google review
Very nice park with beautiful birds. We spent more than 1 hour to do the tour without guide. Kind personnel also. It is not so big, but that makes it charming. The park started only 2 years ago and is still growing step by step with more birds. Recommended with kids. Even for my teenagers it was fun.

Fun for the whole family, what was expected a 10 min browse with 2 small kids turned into 2 hour stroll through tons of spacious and neat cages with various bird sorts, in thickly shaded area, getting slight touch back with the nature... Lady and her spouse cacadoos are priceless! God save him! She will be ok.

So well cared and healthy birds inside this beautiful and extraordinary zoo. Very worth a visit if you're interested in exotic birds. Hope this park will last long!

A wonderful place with beautiful birds. Some of them are very communicative and actually almost "talk to you". The whole place is organised with a high respect for nature. You walk through the woods and stop at huge cages with interesting birds on the way. Everything is very clean, nature friendly and the stuff is very kind. We highly recommend the visit 😀.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful culinary adventure, Umi Asian Streetfood is the place to be! This charming eatery serves up an array of Pan-Asian comfort foods that are sure to satisfy any craving. From crispy fried chicken and savory ramen to delectable gyoza and fresh poke bowls, there's something for everyone. For those seeking vegan options, Umi has you covered with dishes like veggie gyoza filled with smoked tofu and shiitake mushrooms.
When a restaurant offers a concise menu of only 18 dishes, it often indicates a commitment to culinary excellence. My dining experience confirmed this expectation, as each bite showcased the utmost freshness of ingredients. The overall experience was truly remarkable.
Nerma K — Google review
As an Asian food fan I would really recommend this place. It's a small place, with a small outside terrace. They don't have a very large menu, what is always a good sign for me. Fewer dishes, greater quality. Everything was very clean, including the bathrooms. My wife and I had one portion of Lobster buns that even though didn't look like those on the menu were very good. After we had Korean fried chicken that was "to die for", very spicy but really really good. We had also one Kung pao, that was good but nothing special. There was not a lot of meat in the portion. I will most definitely go there again.
Marko — Google review
We ordered the lobster buns was good. The ramen unfortunately the soup was not hot enough then the kitchen reheat for us . The noodles was too soft, but the pork belly delicious.. next time can try different things😊

What a pleasant surprise. More than incredible tasting Food that is apparently all prepared at this restaurant. No bought done stuff. You can tell passion they have on their presentation and the taste of food. It’s all made in this kitchen. Definitely shows the quality the taste and everything. It was my first time, but definitely I’m coming back. 10+ out of 10. I tried three different dishes from my ordered and everything is top shelf?
Rino M — Google review
Delicious! Such a rich Tonkatsu Ramen, cooked very well and the menu has a great selection. My partner had Korean Fried Chicken, big portions, beautifully presented - would definately recommend if visiting Porec.
Flo R — Google review
If you’re craving for Asian food, this place would do the trick. But don’t expect authentic food. We ordered a bowl of tonkotsu ramen and the portion was quite small. The tonkotsu’s broth was not enough creamy, the bamboo shoots and mushrooms were too salty but the pork was tender and flavorful. Karaage was the winner for me; flavor and portion wise. You can skip the gyoza. It was really just average.

We had dinner here and everything from the food to the service was incredible. Tibor served us that night and he gave us a lot of excellent insight of the city and even made recommendations for which foods to order. He was fantastic!! The food quality was amazing and the flavors were some of the best we've had in croatia.

This is a must if you’re going to Poreč!!! The pizza is the best I‘ve had in a long time. The service is great and really quick and the restaurant is nice and good located. We will come definitely again! Thank you for this most terrific food 😌
T. R — Google review
Service depends unfortunately very much on the waiter. We were there several times and with one waiter it was always the same: ignorant, unfriendly and zero service - the type of "I hate my job and tourists"! We had a reservation, he even checked it but did not bring us to the table. Only when an other waiter came, he asked us again and we immediately were accompanied to the Table... All the rest is really fine! And the food is really good!
Marc P — Google review
Food was great! It was for pretty average price so thats plus too. Atmosphere was little ruined by crying baby and running kids around but soon they left the restaurant so we enjoyed the food nicely. Service was good too, came pretty quickly to us and then the food was made pretty fast too. We enjoyed eating here, thank you. Hi from Czechia!

Best pizza in the region! The dough is perfectly baked with just the right amount of crunch and softness. The toppings are fresh and high-quality – from the creamy burrata and colorful cherry tomatoes to the flavorful cured meat and balsamic drizzle. Every bite feels like a gourmet experience. Definitely a must-try if you’re nearby! 😍

Nestled along the picturesque Porec waterfront, Restaurant Spinnaker offers a delightful culinary experience that combines innovative cuisine with stunning views of the sea and moored yachts. This elegant bistro, part of the Valamar Hotel, features a charming terrace adorned with large white umbrellas, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests to enjoy their meals. The menu showcases locally sourced ingredients transformed into creative dishes like tuna tataki and octopus served on vegetable cream.
We had a wonderful dinner, with top-notch food worthy of a Michelin star and perfect service. The balance and selection of dishes were so well done, complemented by exceptional wines that the head sommelier, Zoran, chose for us. In the end, the selection of desserts by pastry chef Dragana left us breathless. Literally perfect! Bravo and thank you for everything.

Nikky T — Google review
Well, we love fine-dine restaurants so we needed to give this one a chance as it is rated close to 4,9☆...but honestly, from our point of view it does not deserve that high rating (we had the 5 course fish and meat menu). We missed the wow effect in nearly all courses, nothing which was amazingly special or unexpected - and those moments need some WOW for that price. Positively to mention the really nice and friendly service and how the dishes are prepared (but taste is not able to compete with the great look), of course also the location itself - still main focus most be the food and this is not as exciting as expected for such an place.

The most beautiful and delicious experience in Poreč! First of all, the staff is really lovely and willing to make any of your desires true. I had as an apperitiv a Gin Tonic, and I could only recommend it due to its rich flavor and amazing presentation. For dinner I got myself the fish menu, which you can see in the pictures, and I dare say it was scrumptious. Every single dish tastes like love and passion. Luckily I also got the wine pairing for every dish, and I was delighted. I am definitely coming back to this wonderful restaurant. If you want to indulge yourself, this is the place to go to.

Bistro grill Sarajevska priča is a typical Croatian restaurant situated in a residential area, favored by locals for its authentic cuisine and unassuming ambiance. The interior exudes a homely dining room vibe, offering delightful meat dishes like cevapi that are not overly oily. The menu features traditional Bosnian cuisine, providing an opportunity to savor the local culture. While the location may not be glamorous, the friendly staff and delicious food create a warm and pleasant dining experience.
The best ćevapčići in the area. Juicy meat, delicious bread, served with kajmak and ajvar. Very affordable prices.
Kacper T — Google review
Hi, I ate cevapcici. It was really delicious one especially with bread. The bread took all water of cevapcici and was fantastic. Then I tried sopska salad which is my favorite in summer. It was so fresh and lovely to try who loves salad with cheese. But I would say the salad was relatively expensive compared to cevapcici prices. Then I finished with Baklava. It was like homemade style and it took me to my childhood that my grandmother style baklava. As a summary must to try in Porec for balkon cuisine lovers. So I spend around 20 euro which is really nice price for this kind of wonderful dinner

The food was really delicious and enough for 1 person. The chicken was really tender but for me it could have been a minute or two longer on the grill. - All together was really good. Waitresses are really nice and the restaurant is a good one if you like Balkan food. Would definitely recommend it!

Great selection of beer. The meat platter for 1 person was sufficient for 2 of us. The fried bread is to die for. Amazing service.
Missyyovana — Google review
Absolutely amazing food! The homemade flatbreads literally melt in your mouth, the ćevapčići were grilled to perfection, and the chicken was simply finger-licking good. Portions are huge – four of us shared a platter for three and we could barely finish it. I didn’t get to try the desserts because I was way too full from the meat platter, but they looked divine, and my friends said they tasted heavenly. Prices are very reasonable, surprisingly affordable for a seaside town. A special shout-out to the waitress – it’s rare to meet such genuinely kind and warm staff. Highly recommended!
Anja H — Google review
Food was bad. All meat dishes were wrapped in soggy thick rolls. Both the chicken skewers and the beef skewers and also the much too salty minced meat. Drinks way too expensive. For more quality you really have to go to the center of Poreč. There is competition between all good restaurants. This restaurant really doesn't deserve a 4.7! I rate it at 2.0
Hans S — Google review
We came to this restaurant on the recommendation of friends who are big gourmets and meat lovers. Although the terrace was empty when we arrived (5 pm), we did not get a table outside because everything was already reserved. We didn't particularly like sitting inside, but the food was delicious. The only thing that seems to me is that the prices are a bit high. For the same money, we ate every other day on vacation in excellent small restaurants by the sea, in the center of Poreč, with a beautiful view. I have nothing negative to say, but I wouldn't recommend anyone come here to eat.
Emilija N — Google review
A typical Croatian restaurant located in the middle of a residential area. It was recommended to us by the owners of the flat where we were staying at, and they couldn't have got it better! A restaurant frequented mainly by locals and not at all touristy, ideal if you want to experience Croatian cuisine as a whole without falling back on the classic touristy fare. Excellent, high quality food served at the appropriate times and prices more than proportionate to what we had, I highly recommend the ćevapčići!

Parking ticket 3 eur extra There are enough space to lay down on gras without renting a parasol extra fee 9 EUR Ice cream up from 3-4,5 eur Speed pass only for 2-3 water slides. 20 eur extra per pass Please note, no refund for purchased tickets by heavy rains or storms. You can buy tickets online same day. However, you have to go to the counter to get the arm belt for purchasing inside the park

From an adults perspective I'd only visit here with a child. There's alcohol and some places you can get beer from. Despite what their website says you can bring your own food and drink in. We didn't as the website said otherwise but we noticed loads, dozens of families bringing in their own shade tents, cooler boxes, beers and food. All out in the open, not snuck in by any means. Get their for opening in you want to rent some chairs under a shade umbrella, they go fast in peak season. Same with lockers. We rented a small locker for our phones and money. The park provides you with a wrist band that you make purchases with (don't lose it) and you pay at the end.

We spent the day here today and had a good time. There is a good variety of rides , the croc bar is very cool and the kids enjoyed the lazy river. The problem here is the lack of staff and life guards. There are no life guards or staff looking over the lazy river or the pools except the wave pool, which the guy spent the whole time on his phone. Every time we past him we didn't see him look up. There's maybe more staff on site but we barely saw any apart from the ones manning a few of the rides that they were supposed to. This then meant there were a bunch of kids going mad in the lazy river and throwing in the rings at each other and jumping off the side, and another group taking all the free rings and building a wall to try and block the water flow. I mean, 30+ rings, and were actually laughing at people trying to get in when they were going up and taking them saying haha there's non free because we have them all. This would easily be stopped if there was adequate staff. The lights in some of the rides were also not working so you had to lean over and try and see when the previous person came out the end. It's a shame, as we did enjoy the day over all. We paid as we arrived and had no queuing, the rides we also didn't have to queue too long. I would definitely recommend, but the management of the park needs to improve.

This place is awesome! We spent 4 hours here and could've stayed longer. There's slides and activities for all ages and the longest we had to wait for a slide was about 10 minutes. A couplee of pro tips.... 1. Get the fast pass to skip any lines. 2. Check out their free entry on your birthday promotion!

Great place to spend a day, great activities (I believe they were here because of Dalmaland's Birthday but I am not sure). If you are going I suggest you get tickets for both the aqua and fun park as it's not too big and if you got to only 1 it can get pretty boring pretty quickly.
Borko N — Google review
Unfortunately, the aquapark has 10 years and it becomes to be noticeable. Some positive development is that they have added new walking path / shortcut to attractions and replaced part of the paving to light concrete so you do not burn your feet in sunny days. The lift for the largest tubes for 4 persons for Magicone attraction is still not working and you have to carry the heavy tube upstairs yourself :-( Beware that they have added additional payments for parking and sunbeds. The payment for safe deposit box is not worth it, the box no special "safe" box but is the same as the standard boxes, only smaller.

Shopping mall
Riva Mall is a small shopping center located conveniently next to the bus station. It may not fit the traditional image of a large mall, but it offers a good selection of general shops, supermarkets, and a drugstore. The parking area behind the mall offers one hour free parking. Its location near the old town and sea makes it an attractive shopping destination for visitors. Despite its size, Riva Mall provides a pleasant shopping experience with affordable options available.
It is not actualy a mall, it has few stores and market spar, which is good. Tere is paraking behind, one hour free. Lication is great, next to the old toen and sea.

A handful of shops available but by no means is this a mall like many people would expect. The aircon inside was welcome relief for the heat outside. Parking available around the back of the mall, I found there to be plenty of parking with no problems. If you came here for a Müller as seen on some of the pictures here - spoiler alert, there is no more Müller here. Good luck and if you found the review helpful, please hit the like button.

Disgusting mall, small cramped and dirty, toilets closed, even though arrows pointing to them are up. We've been here once about three years ago, the toilets were also closed, not sure if we we're unlucky or if they've been closed for 3+ years.

It is a small shopping center, conveniently located next to the bus station. It is not really that big (usually you associate malls with large shopping centers, but this is not the case here). It has supermarkets and a drugstore among other shops.

Nice little mall, with not much going on. Still useful to have
Milán K — Google review
The place is sort of OK.It is close to the harbour, easily accessible from downtown. The first main problem you encounter is the parking. Not obvious what is free what is not, when you drive in, you have to back out, because always someone comes against you. Other than that the shops are full of goods, Muller, Spar, ATM, others.. even diving stuffs
Tamás H — Google review
I can't recomend this "Shopping center" Müller is closed and there is a empty local at the moment. You have the spar supermarket but it is not really big, also the intersport. You have a little shop where you can buy furniture as well but you don't need furniture on holiday. A little shoe shop and an optican..thats it. The parking situation is very bad. There are only a handfull of parking places where you can park for free for one hour during the visit of spar. We can't get a place there so we have to use an public place and pay for it (in summer 10 hrk/h)

The best pizza in Poreč, for sure! At dinner time the crowd is huge, you have to eat quick. There is no sitting and talking with your friends after dinner here. The stuff is very friendly but always in a hurry. Despite all, still my favourite place by far.

The Tradizione restaurant is a fantastic place to eat in Porec. The service is quick and the food is very generous - perfect for filling up! The only downside is that you can't pay by card, but this isn't really a problem as the prices are really good value for what you get. The food here is especially good if you're looking for something Mediterranean - the grilled dishes are absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a visit!
Surprisingly pleasant experience!!! In the town full of restaurants waiting for tourists to come and go, this place takes special care of every visitor. All the food is carefully selected, with great quality. We had a little bit of everything, fish, pasta, and grill, and everything we tried was delicious. Very kind and professional personnel, but still with the feeling of tradition and family restaurant eating. At the end of the meal, we were surprised by the homemade cake! Excellent feeling of appreciation and definitely the place to recommend and come back to!

We were here for an early dinner and it was pretty empty. The waiter (may be the owner) was attentive despite not being friendly. We ordered the seafood platter, mussels and my bf ordered steak with truffle sauce. The food was really good except for the potatoes in the platter. It was too heavy on the salt; my German bf agrees. If I’m not wrong, they only accept cash. We spent about 110€ for 4 people. Would recommend this place but less salt please.

Excellent seafood. We ordered the “Fish/Seafood Platter” (for 2 persons @ €48) which comes with 2 big fishes, squids, clams, mussels, shrimps & potatoes with vegetables. The ingredients were fresh and nicely cooked. The platter was garnished with orange & lemon slices. It was delicious and sumptuous. We enjoyed it very much. In fact, if the portion was enough for 3 persons for small eater. The servers were friendly and attentive. We love the vibe

Bakery
Mlinar is a delightful Croatian bakery chain that has made its mark in Porec with two convenient locations, one close to the farmers market and another at the start of Decumanus Street. While they once offered a wider range of plant-based options, their menu now features just a few vegan-friendly items, including the beloved focaccia. Mlinar is renowned for its scrumptious sandwiches and an impressive array of sweets and cakes—don't miss out on their chocolate croissant!
Best chain bakery in town. The sandwiches are perfect. Also they have a great selection of sweets and cakes. The chocolate croissant is my favorite. They also have a good pizza and other salty products. If you re not from Porec you have to visit it and try the meat pie called Burek. You will be surprised how good it tastes.

Mlinar- joakim rakovca (trznica)The food is average but the place is extremely messy, prices are wrongly exposed, such as all the labels are wrong or missing so basically it’s impossible to check the price. It always looks really messy, Not clean enough for a food place and the staff well politeness is not their stong side either. Mlinar Decumanus… super nice staff, very clean, full stacked/..the only downside is that the company doubles the prices of every product during summer time which is completely unfair for the locals who like this place and support it during the long winter..it’s rude a ridiculous this kind of management… anyway likely they have this amazing staff so it’s at least something

Pizza restaurant
Pizzeria Dali d.o.o has been a popular dining spot for over 20 years, especially after a hot summer day. Visitors have praised the quick service and delicious food, with many recommending it as the best place in Porec. The restaurant is known for its tasty dishes, particularly the grilled calamari with Spinat and the Hungarian pizza. Guests appreciate the friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, and efficient service at this establishment.
We came to Dali on the recommendation of a friend from Poreč. We were told it had the best pizza in town. Unfortunately, we didn't try the pizza, but the two types of pasta (tartuffe and seafood) and the calamari were excellent choices. Peeking at the neighbour's table, I would say the pizza is also a pure 10. The prices are lower than in restaurants on busy streets where crowds of confused tourists come across while walking. Although Dali is not even 5 minutes from Basilica, the garden was only half full for dinner, which is very pleasant in Poreč in August. The staff is friendly and smiling, and the parking zone is 2, meaning that 1 hour of parking costs 1.5 euros, not 2 euros as in the centre or large parking lots. All in all, highly recommended.

Restaurant Cardo offers a cozy atmosphere with live guitar music in the evenings. The waitstaff is accommodating and polite, providing excellent service. The restaurant has two sections, one for seafood and another for pasta and pizza, the latter known as Gourmet. The prices are relatively high but justified by the delicious food. It's a great place to enjoy tasty meals while listening to live music in the evenings.
This restaurant is very underrated! I’m a local and I’ve eaten here many times over the past several years, and most recently tonight. Always great, friendly service, fresh fish, relaxing and beautiful atmosphere, live music, beautiful old olive trees and ruins in background and a nice view to 15th century Venetian buildings and the 6th Century (Unesco) Euphrasian Basilica. Prices are normal for this part of town - in the center of the old historic district. Portions are good, wine selection is great (Tomaz, Rossi, etc.) and nice and well priced dessert selection. Highly recommended!

Fantastic atmosphere.. you can't get it better in the evening sun, with guitar playing in an rustic environment. Good service also from a friendly staff, but the food is unfortunately not the best. The risotto was blend, and was probably prepeard in advance for a bussy night and heated in a microwaved, and the lasagne the oposite, cold in the middle. But still an overall nice experience 👍

The Euphrasian Basilica, a 6th-century Byzantine-style Episcopal basilica complex, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its well-preserved early Christian architecture and art. Named after the sponsoring bishop Euphrasius, this masterpiece of Byzantine art and architecture features stunning mosaics, frescoes, and intricate carvings. Its historical significance has put Porec on the tourist map as one of Croatia's most visited destinations.
Visited during the morning and it was really beautiful with no one around. This 6th-century UNESCO World Heritage site is a stunning example of early Byzantine architecture. The basilica's intricate mosaics, particularly in the apse, are among the finest in the world, depicting biblical scenes with extraordinary detail and vibrant colors. The basilica has been a place of Christian worship for over 1,500 years, making it not only an artistic marvel but also a site of deep historical and religious significance. Half price for students. Nice view of the sea from the walls too.

This was an amazing experience as you step through time from the Romans to the Byzantine period and all the way through the 16th century to today. It is an experience not to be missed. You feel directly in touch with history and the sense of the centuries in the church is palatable, making it a unique experience in today’s modern fast-paced life. I cannot recommend a visit to Porec anf the Basilica enough. I would go again.

Chilli Fusion Streetfood is a small eatery that has gained popularity due to its delectable green curry and chicken satay, resulting in long queues. We didn't fancy anymore pasta, pizza or potatoes. So it's great to find this little place It's in a quieter side of the old town. Away from the hustle and bustle. Great food and service. We had the tuna tatake, tempura prawns, rice paper rolls and Kung Pao pork to share. All tasted great! On par with what we get in Sydney. Delicious and fresh! . Loved them all. Prices are reasonable too. Would have tried more but we were so full. Highly recommend.

Located in the historical center of Porec Parenzo, Chili Fusion Street Food offers a delightful culinary experience with outdoor seating on a charming pedestrian road. The menu features an enticing selection of Vietnamese, Thai, and Japanese dishes, all prepared with fresh ingredients that authentically capture the original flavors. The quality of the food is exceptional. The Yellow Chicken Curry, while slightly watery, was outstanding in taste. The option to add eggs and rice as affordable side dishes is a great addition. The staff is efficient and welcoming, enhancing the overall dining experience. The eco-friendly approach, with food served in recycled paper bowls and wooden cutlery, is commendable. Prices are reasonable, and while portion sizes are decent, those with larger appetites might want to consider ordering appetizers or additional sides. Overall, Chili Fusion Street Food provides a very good dining experience, combining excellent food quality with attentive service and a pleasant atmosphere.

Parking in Poreč centre was a bit of a pain—lots of circling, a bit of swearing. When we finally found the place, we had to wait about 10 minutes to get seated. The sushi was fine—tasty enough, but nothing special. We were hungry, and as expected, sushi isn’t great value when you are. In the end, we paid around 90 euros for two and still didn’t feel totally full. Overall: decent food, but between the parking, the wait, and the price, probably not something we’d rush back for.

Aquarium
Aquarium Poreč, located in the heart of the town, offers a glimpse into the underwater world of the Adriatic Sea. It's a great place to visit with kids as it features a variety of fish, a crocodile, and an adorable chameleon. While some visitors found the entrance fee reasonable, others appreciated the friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. However, there were suggestions for improvements such as providing more information about the animals and ensuring they have companions for a better quality of life.
Excellent place to spend some time with kids. Lots of fishes, a crocodile and a sweet chameleon. The kids were excited and very happy. The entrance is not expensive how some people said in comparison than now a scoop of ice cream is 3€ and kids ticket is 4 €. The lady on the entrance is very nice and cute. Highly recommend We will come back
Barbyka 0 — Google review
Lovely small aquarium with a great variety of fish and other creatures. Kind woman at the ticket counter informed us it is a smaller aquarium but we wanted to check it out and have a break from the heat outside. Very clean and well kept place. Children really enjoyed it and I highly recommend to stop by.
Marlayna S — Google review
Quite a small aquarium but for 7€ it’s totally fine. Don’t expect the world and enjoy. The kids loved it.

Nice and cosy experinece. Away from the crowd. Kind personel. We are visiting it every year. Kids love it.
Marko M — Google review
Small and filthy fishtanks. The lady at the ticket booth looked like someone who should have stayed home. She barely had the energy to put down her private phone to sell us tickets. Not worth a visit.
Michael G — Google review
Its ok to visit, check and cool off from the streets. Clean aquariums and terariums :)
Saša — Google review
By far the worst aquarium ive ever visited. Tiny tanks for large fish. The fish were sank to the bottom hardly swimming / alive, all on top of each other. The tank filters were dirty. There was a crocodile in there with hardly any water. Overall just a really sad experience.
Ellena R — Google review
This aquarium and terrarium was lovely. It's not the biggest but it still has a variety of animals and the price is reasonable as it goes into the care of the animals. It is sad as the owner has said that it will close at the end of the season due to all of the negative reviews on Google. I don't know what you were expecting it's not a chain aquarium with loads of funding but still nice.

My steak wad cooked medium and it was perfect pastas are really good too!!!

What a treat! I had a fantastic beef consumee with fresh pasta and tiny, tender and tasty meatballs in it. Fresh homemade bread and great Croatian Cabernet. The restaurant is in a historic building and is decorated nicely. Very pleasant atmosphere and my waiter, Srdan was friendly, patient and attentive. The menu had a lot to choose from and I enjoyed myself thoroughly. Highly recommend this restaurant if you want to be away from the horde of tourists.

Very good food service and ambiance, Philip the manager has a great knowledge of the wines and food. You have to try the tartare, but a warning! You will never have a tartare as good as this one🙌

Pizza restaurant
Pizzeria Stari Saloon in Poreč, a historic town near the Adriatic Sea, is renowned for serving the largest pizzas in town, measuring 120 centimeters in diameter. These generously topped pizzas are perfect for a family feast. While some visitors praise the delicious pizzas and fast service, others have noted average service quality and small portions of side dishes.
The food is really good, best pizza’s and the burgers are also very good and big. Only thing is that your food doesnt come at the same time, burgers are faster than pizza so when one orders a burger and another the pizza, the person with the burger sometimes has already finishd their food before the pizza has arrived. But the food does taste very good and the staff is friendly. We also had the big pizza before, that also taste very good. You get enough food for what you pay. So i would recommend
Ilse N — Google review
The pizzas are ok, quite decent and the price is ok. The service is also good, cheerful and fast. I tipped them 8 euros, but the change showed that they added another 5 euros, which is definitely not correct.
Borislav B — Google review
The pizzas are very good and that's why you'd come here. Portion sizes are huge and they do a 120cm pizza for large groups, which is pretty impressive to see coming out on what looks like a cartwheel! However, the service is only average and the French fries / chips portions are tiny and they were undercooked and greasy in our case. They also don't serve coffee for after your meal, which is bizarre for a pizza restaurant.
David M — Google review
We first visited Stari Saloon last year and had an awesome experience—so naturally, we had to come back this summer. And wow, it was even better than before! We were warmly welcomed by Uroš, the same waiter who served us last year. Not only did he remember us, but his service was just as friendly and efficient as we remembered. He was fantastic with our kids and offered great recommendations that helped us choose a delicious spread. This time, we enjoyed a variety of dishes—pizza, calamari, ćevapi, and a standout truffle burger that absolutely stole the show. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served with care. All in all, a 10/10 experience. Great food, lovely service, and a place we’ll definitely keep coming back
Jelena K — Google review
Great pizza, fair price and nice staff. Lovely place
Benjamin M — Google review
Great meal with large portion size. DON'T go XL or bigger unless your sharing! I had the standard burger and it was 6 inches across... The XL meals were much larger than that... Be warned 😉
Aaron H — Google review
Once the 4 of us ordered drinks we only received 2 glasses. When we tried ordering food the waiter left in the middle of it. There also was a QR code for the menu, however it is outdated, some dishes are not even on the current menu. At the end they demanded a tip. The behaviour of the waiters was overly aggressive and arrogant.

The pizza is delicious. In this place there are a lot of children, and they have a voice :) Popular place.

Ulixes Wine Garden is a charming restaurant located in the historic center of Porec, housed in a stone building with three cozy dining rooms. Recently transformed into a fish restaurant, it offers an array of fresh seafood and live lobsters complemented by an impressive selection of wines. The scampi a la busara and mixed seafood platter are standout dishes, while the chocolate cake with fresh berry compote makes for a delightful dessert.
We had a lovely dinner here. The food was delicious and well presented. Our waiter was very friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the evening. Excellent service that made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommend!

The place is great but the service is disappointing. The people working there are polite but we (and people around us) were waiting way too much (more than 40 min) to get very simple orders such as cheese plate or similar. Hope the service gets better because the place has great potential.
Bojana J — Google review
Very beautiful place and nice atmosphere when there is a wine and paint or live music going on. Unfortunately the staff is so unprofessional and rude that I have to give it a 1 star because it kills everything about this place. They question your orders based on their ideological beliefs, if there is no space at the table for your food they don’t try to find a solution but put the plate on a different table far away from you and don’t make the effort to bring the table close to you. There is 0 hospitality in these people (idk if its the low pay they receive each month or what but there is no smile on these people’s faces when they talk to customers, no love for the art of hospitality). On top of everything the cocktails are average even thought the brands that they use are not. It’s such a shame because this place has a good location and looks fabulous. It could easily be a 5 if the staff was good. I’ve been here about 5 times throughout the last three years and always had some bad experience with the staff that I just shrugged off as them being tired. But having a bad experience with them the last two was too much. I wish I took a photo with the plate being far away from me because that was diabolical 😂
Ella T — Google review
Delicious food, perfect garden with lovely decorations and very polite waiters. The fish baked in the oven was really succulent but even though the dish was for 2 you get one fish. The shrimp with almonds were a delicous appatizer. The prices are a bit higher then other restaurants in Porec but I think this one is deffinately worth a try because the food was tasty and you feel like in a fairytale because of the lovely decorated garden.

Marconi is a top-rated restaurant in Porec, offering an excellent dining experience. The beautiful terrace provides a tranquil setting away from street noise, and it can be enclosed to allow outdoor seating even in rainy weather. The Chateaubriand comes highly recommended for its exquisite preparation by the chef. The attentive and polite service adds to the overall enjoyment of the meal, with staff members providing helpful recommendations for local wines.
Behind an unassuming small front with a few tables is a large restaurant with up to four separate areas.  There are two fully indoor areas and two open areas one of which has a canopy that can be opened or closed depending on the weather.  It's very popular and has a small area to wait in for a table when it's busy.  We initially visited for lunch and were so impressed we returned for an evening meal. The menu has a good selection of meat, fish and pasta dishes plus pizzas. Service was warm and friendly. Recommended.

Bar
Nestled right on the sandy shores, Beach Bar Tequila is a vibrant hotspot that transforms from a casual snack haven during the day to a lively cocktail hub as night falls. With its prime location, it offers stunning views of Porec's old town, especially at sunset when the sky paints a breathtaking backdrop. The bar features live music on weekends and resident DJs throughout the week, creating an inviting atmosphere filled with retro tunes.
Probably the best located bar ever. On the beach, at the clear sea, panorama of Poreč Skyline and with the view on sunset. You can rent a sun bed, visit toilet. Very fine place.
Luboš B — Google review
The view is undeniably beautiful — that’s the one highlight of this place. Unfortunately, everything else falls short. The service is catastrophic: extremely slow, disorganized, and far from friendly. The menu is very limited, and what little they offer is heavily overpriced. Ice cream for 6 euros? That’s just ridiculous. Overall, the place feels overrated. With such poor service and inflated prices, it’s not worth the visit. We won’t be coming back.
Ursolina N — Google review
Nice views and good music - that's where it stops. Majority of cocktails could not be prepared due to no lime or cleaning of the coffee machine. Extremely slow service topped it of - 25min for basic drinks. Service ruins this otherwise beautiful bar
Maximilian U — Google review
It's hard not to appreciate the stunning location of Beach Bar Tequila – the view is fantastic. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by painfully loud music and painfully slow service. Dirty seating didn't help either. A missed opportunity in an otherwise perfect spot.
Jakub V — Google review
The sea of course is beautiful but everything else is just terrible. The staff just hates to work here, they are extremely rude, they don't care in the least about their customers. We came here because the beach is great in front of the bar. Service is slow, if they even serve you at all. Most of the time the staff is just angry that you dared to order something. Just quit and do something else if you hate your job this much!
Mr R — Google review
Good atmosphere and views, but service was bad, they "forgot" to tell us that we needed to say at the beginning that we want to pay with card. Mind you this was only for two cocktails. Cash only bar in 2025?! Feels like a scam.

This place is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm, inviting atmosphere—think cozy lighting, stylish decor, and just the right balance of lively energy and intimate charm. Whether you're on a date, catching up with friends, or enjoying a solo glass, it’s the perfect setting. The owner has clearly poured passion into every detail, curating a fantastic selection of wines that caters to both casual sippers and connoisseurs. I appreciated the thoughtful recommendations, including a few off-menu highlights that made the experience feel personalized. Speaking of service, the staff truly shines—knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely friendly and funny. They made me feel welcome without being overbearing, and their enthusiasm for the drinks and the food added to the fun. I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The location is really nice, directly next to the water, offering a beautiful view that makes the dining experience even more special. expensive, good, excellent wines but food was used to be better and more inventive...last 2 years its not that surprising, but more expensive. Price is starting to be more than value...pasta with truffles was very nice, tuna was done correctly but taste was boring and bit smelly...

We had a lovely dinner at Divino, perfectly located on the promenade in Poreč. The atmosphere was elegant and relaxing. We enjoyed traditional Croatian dishes — including amazing homemade pasta with seabass, capers, and olive oil, which was full of delicate, fresh flavors. As a complimentary treat, we received a delicious truffle cheese spread to start and a traditional Croatian spirit to end the meal. The black risotto, gnocchi with beef, and marinated anchovies were also excellent. The service was friendly and attentive. A truly wonderful dining experience — highly recommended!
Horia S — Google review
I’m very picky and usually the waiters are incredibly annoyed by me asking for things to be made without oil. HOWEVER. the waiters in Divino were accomodating, he went to the kitchen to check the ingredients of a dish, then he assured me multiple times that he told the chef to not add oil. The grilled veggies and squid actually came without any oil and the mixed salad was incredibly refreshing! I was really impressed. Thank you for the great service!

The staff at Divino are amazing. We felt so welcome from the moment we arrived. The waiters moved tables for us to accommodate a large group and were so attentive and kind. We appreciate their strong English, explanation of the menu and help and support with our little ones. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Beautiful restaurant with very friendly staff and great food. Lovely atmosphere and location is to die for. If you can grab yourself a table with a front seat view of the sunset consider yourself lucky ! Their tiramisu especially deserves a shoutout, very light and the portion is just perfect, and an espresso to round out the meal hit the final spot. Well done to the team and the managers 👏🏼

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Divino restaurant! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, and our waiter Gabriel truly made the evening special. He was incredibly kind and attentive, helping us find the perfect table with a great view. Gabriel also gave us excellent wine recommendations that perfectly complemented our meal, and he guided us through the menu with thoughtful suggestions. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere cozy and elegant, but Gabriel’s service truly elevated our entire experience. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

The waiter was very knowledgeable about wine and made excellent recommendations and even offered us a complimentary after dinner drink. It was nice to sit water side and people watch and relax. The cheese and prosciutto starter was enough to fill us up before dinner arrived.

Bacchus is a well-known wine bar and shop located near the Euphrasian Basilica in Porec. It offers a wide selection of wines, including Malvazija, Muskat, and red Refosk, as well as family-made rakija grappas. The bar also serves authentic Istrian products such as prosciutto, cheese, anchovies, and cod.
Dec. '24: Just great - atmosphere, staff,..., just keep on going... Okt. '24: It would be hard to imagine a better bar - great atmosphere where you forget time, great location, friendly staff, excellent food and drink offer, outside the main season it's even a shade better because of less crowd. Hats off for maintaining the bar at such a level for years, I definitely recommend it and will come again...

Tucked into a lively corner of a small alley, this place is buzzing both inside and out. Always popular and full of energy, the constant flow of people combined with its quirky corner location gives it a fun, funky vibe. A great spot to soak in the atmosphere and enjoy some top-notch people-watching.

One of the best places we have ever been. Great atmosphere in the charming streets of Porec. Excellent service: we (and our two dogs) felt warmly welcomed. And the food and wine? We had the seafood plate for two, the "salami" plate for one and local wine. Absolutely TOP. Hope to be back soon."

Super friendly service and really delicious dishes. We had the mixed salad and the Mare/seafood platter. Both was great value for money! The fish had a yummi seasoning and tasted very fresh. The atmosphere of the bar is super comfy and rustic. Payment with Euro or Kuna, cash or card is possible. Really recommendable place!!

The pizza was really delicious and fast on the table. The service was nice and ambitious to bring everyone fast to a table. I would suggest you to book a table, we’ve been waiting for 10min to get a table, so not that long. 😉 The restaurant is located in the city near the port so it’s easy to find. 😌

Restaurant
Trattoria La Pentola is a modern and beautifully decorated beach restaurant located about two kilometers from the center of Porec. It's a popular spot, especially on Saturday afternoons when it's busier than any other restaurant in the city. The restaurant offers a variety of delicious dishes including tasty pizzas, homemade pasta classics, big salads, and huge steaks like the fiorentina T-bone steak. Additionally, they have an impressive selection of beers and a solid wine list.
Visited on saturday and had a really good time. The restaurant is situated in a shaded area with alot of trees, so scorching heat didn't affect us that much. The views of the sea were beautiful. The food was great, we had fried calamari and lasagna which were both stunning, for dessert we had ice cream, which was one of the best I've ever had. Along with food, we drank some local craft beers that were of very high quality. Staff was nice, helpful and fast to accomodate us. Considering location and country, prices were totally reasonable. I absolutely recommend this place, and will definitely be coming back.

It’s also under our hotel group but the food, service, vibe are unbeatable. Our hotel bring us there by a golf kart so it’s very convenient. Sea view, sea breeze, high ceiling with fans, even with high temp, being inside is not hot at all. We have visited 3 times already, tmr will be the 4th Time. Food is amazingly good (fresh, made by heart, pasta was requested as small portion but super al dente). Our most Favorite person from there, Sanya, she’s perfect! Without her our experience won’t be so great ! Thank you for making everything possible for us :) Vibe is Italian chillax while the panorama sea view is just right in front of you !!! Compares to the same one on Rabac, it’s 5 stars vs 2 stars 😊

Nice service. Short waiting time for dishes. About the dishes. We started from pasta. Elo pomodoro fresco e basilico and penne all'arrabbiata. Unfortunately both pasta/sauce were totally without taste. Honestly it's the weakest pasta I've ever eaten. After 5 forks, we finished eating. We gave second chance for the pizza and salad capriciosa. These dishes were ok. If you plan drinking wine and eating good paste, go to another restaurant. If you want to eat a pizza or a salad, you should be satisfied.

Restaurant with Mixed Results" Rating: 3/5 stars La Pentola Trattoria in Porec is a classy restaurant that exudes elegance and offers an appealing dining experience. However, there are some aspects of the restaurant that leave room for improvement. First and foremost, the presentation of the dishes at La Pentola is impeccable. Each plate is beautifully arranged and visually appealing, enhancing the overall dining experience. The attention to detail in the plating is commendable and adds a touch of sophistication to the meal. However, when it comes to taste, there seems to be a discrepancy. While the dishes are visually stunning, the flavors don't always live up to the expectations set by their appearance. The taste falls short of the initial visual appeal, leaving a somewhat underwhelming experience. It is disappointing when a dish that looks exquisite fails to deliver an equally satisfying taste. Another notable aspect of La Pentola Trattoria is the absence of prices on their online menu. This lack of transparency raises questions and makes it difficult for potential customers to gauge the affordability of the restaurant. Perhaps this is related to a recent 40% increase in prices from the previous year. It would be helpful if the restaurant updated their online information, including the current prices, to provide a more transparent dining experience for their customers. Interestingly, the old prices are still visible on the backside of the placemats, while the new prices are presented elsewhere. This inconsistency can lead to confusion and surprises when the bill arrives. To ensure a smoother dining experience, it would be advisable for La Pentola to maintain consistency in displaying their updated prices. In conclusion, La Pentola Trattoria is a classy restaurant with an appealing ambiance and impeccable presentation of dishes. However, the taste of the food sometimes falls short of expectations, which can be disappointing. The absence of prices on their online menu and the inconsistency in displaying the updated prices need to be addressed for a more transparent and satisfactory dining experience. With some improvements, La Pentola Trattoria has the potential to become a truly exceptional dining destination in Porec

Miramare by Fratelli Cerea is a special and elegant restaurant located with a stunning view overlooking the open sea, making it the perfect place to enjoy an extraordinary dining experience. The staff is friendly and the location offers a beautiful sunset view. The menu features exquisite dishes such as veal, risotto, and Tuna Tartare, which are highly recommended. While some dishes like Tiramisu may not live up to the hype, the creative decoration adds to the overall experience.
Everything was great from start to finish. Amazing view, friendly staff and tasty food. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for. My favourite dish was Tuna Tartare, one of the best I ever had. The only slight disapoitment was the Tiramisu which was overhyped, but it was almost average. Couldn't taste the mascarpone cheese and you can't have Tiramisu without it. Although decoration was creative. All in all great place to enjoy some good food and admire the view. Waiter was very very cute as well.

A gem in local dinning scene. Excellent food. Great service and a very fair pricing. Then the view from the terrace is stunning. Nestled along the picturesque waterfront, Restaurant Sveti Nikola is a culinary gem that beckons food enthusiasts to indulge in its exquisite offerings. This upscale dining establishment boasts a stunning terrace with breathtaking views of the harbor and the nearby island, creating an enchanting atmosphere for any meal. The menu is a delightful showcase of traditional meat and seafood dishes, featuring highlights such as grilled octopus, fish filet drizzled in scampi sauce, and succulent beefsteak paired with tartufi sauce.
The service was really, really good. The staff were talking multiple languages and were extremely friendly and efficient. Seafood was fresh and could be prepared as you like - baked in oven, on the grill and more. Courses were beautifully done and some combinations of flavors were truly creative and tasted great. We went to dine there two times in the week we were in Poreč. The restaurant is located by the seaside, with view of the sea and the shore. It’s more of a fancy place, prices a bit higher than other restaurants. But absolutely worth it! The waiter who was serving us both times was wonderful and did his job perfectly. His name was Zeljko and he knew his food and wine, for sure. We will most definitely come back the next time we visit Poreč.
Solgunn V — Google review
Restaurant was highly rated so was excited to try it but was left disappointed. Carpaccio starter was fine but nothing to get too excited about. We ordered a risotto and seafood pasta for mains. The risotto looked like a bowl of soup with rice in it, and while the seafood itself was cooked well the pasta dish as a whole was very bland and flavourless. We decided against having dessert based on what we'd had and went elsewhere. What made this particularly disappointing was the price compared to other places nearby, didn't feel like the quality matched the cost. Positives were the wine, and our waiter was very nice. View out on the harbour is nice too. Overall, you can get a nicer meal for half the price nearby.

Hello, how are you? I’m not so good. I was at this restaurant with my family today, and my experience was not the best. My father had undercooked meat. My risotto 🤌🏻 was not so great, my rice was hard and undercooked. My boyfriends risotto was the same scenario. But my mother had really great time with her spaghetti carbonara, she gives 5 ⭐️.
Vanesa P — Google review
The meals are delicious, the feeling of the place is also has its own vibe. I would reccommend fish fillet with aspargus and truffels if you like fish. The waitress was kind and friendly They even bring us a little cold appetizer.
Lajos M — Google review
Although not perfect, this restaurant is head and shoulder above other places in Poreč, in terms of the quality of the food. Their service is also exceptional. Mr. Nikola, the owner of the restaurant, would personally greet every guest during their stay, which is quite unusual and impressive. They have a daily special menu for both lunch and dinner. The lunch consists of three course and costs about 14 euro. The dinner has 4 courses and price is about 20 euro. I had the opportunity to try both, and I must say they offer exceptional value given the quality of the food, plus the excellent service. The calamari is my favorite - it is both fresh and delicious. I am however less impressed with the grilled fish. Somehow it tasted bland, and less tender, compared to the grilled fish I had last night at another local restaurant nearby.
Skywalker F — Google review
Wanted to go here for a while Had really high expectations which hadn't been completely fullfilled. Food is good Portions size are fare Loved the dessert and mushroom soup Main dish which was fish fillet was tasty but I found a small bone Which really shouldn't happen And vegetables that came with fish were really bland and overcooked. Calamari were really tasty. When it comes to service They did their best but something was lacking. There was this really tall waiter, he was really nice and helpfull even though he explained that he was new. All in all a good restaurant with lovely food and few things to work on.

We were recommended to go to this restaurant and as soon as we got there we could see why. Everything was just so good. ALMOST ZERO ALCOHOL IN COCKTAILS Wife and I ordered two cocktails - Daiquiri and BBC - and even though they looked and tasted amazing, by the amount of alcohol in them I can say that those were not cocktails but something like mocktails. The offer is amazing though, the menu has a lot of choices, but be warned - you won't get even slightly buzzed here.

We went there just because they have coffee Illy and front view of the sea. One waiter was a little bit rude when we asked to put pillow on the chair as it is metal. He said we have to wait till he finishes other chairs even though they were empty. They as well didn’t cover the terrace from the sun even though it was already quite hot to seat outside. But coffee was good. No free water to it though. Terrace itself is nice and little bit further from the hectic part of promenade.

We only stopped because we came by and really needed a coffee but definitely didn't regret the choice. The prices were surprisingly low and the drinks simply lovely with a lot of very interesting options to choose, Both the cocktail and coffee cards are very extensiv. I can definitely recommend the Biscolatto Caldo a biscuit, caramel and hot chocolate combination which tastes and looks stunning and also got a nice different textures to explore with the biscuit crumbs and fluffy cream. While we didn't eat there as we already had breakfast the plates we saw on the tables around as did look very inviting.

Poreč, a charming coastal town in Croatia, is a hidden gem that beautifully blends rich history with stunning natural scenery. Nestled along the Istrian Peninsula, this town is a perfect destination for anyone seeking a mix of cultural experiences and relaxation by the sea. Walking through the cobblestone streets of Poreč, I was captivated by the well-preserved Roman architecture, particularly the Euphrasian Basilica, a UNESCO World Heritage site that boasts intricate mosaics and a fascinating history. The basilica is a must-visit, as it offers a glimpse into the town’s past and is an architectural marvel. The waterfront area is equally enchanting, lined with charming cafés and restaurants that offer delicious local cuisine. I highly recommend trying the fresh seafood, accompanied by a glass of local Malvasia wine. The vibrant atmosphere along the promenade, with its beautiful views of the Adriatic Sea, makes it an ideal spot for an evening stroll. Beyond the historical sites, Poreč also boasts beautiful beaches, suitable for all types of travelers. Whether you're looking for a peaceful spot to relax or a lively beach with activities, you’ll find plenty of options. The crystal-clear waters are perfect for swimming and snorkeling, inviting you to explore the underwater beauty of the Adriatic. Moreover, the friendly locals add to the warm and welcoming vibe of the town. Everyone I met was eager to share their love for Poreč and provide recommendations on what to see and do. In summary, Poreč is a delightful blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. Whether you’re a history buff, a foodie, or simply looking for a relaxing getaway, this picturesque town has something for everyone. I can't wait to return!

Church of Our Lady of the Angels is a small but charming 18th-century Baroque church located in Porec's central square. It features beautiful paintings by renowned artists such as Jacopo Marieschi and Gaspare Vecchio. The church is surrounded by a lively atmosphere with street food, busker performances, and nearby restaurants and bars. Visitors can enjoy the pleasant public square next to the church, making it a lovely spot to relax and soak up the warm atmosphere.
There used to be a Romaesque church at this venue. The current one dates from the 18th century and has rather a Barroque style. Inside the church, there are paintings by Jacopo Marieschi and Gaspare Vecchio. If you are walking from the bus station, this will probably be the first church you'll run into. It is small but worth a visit!

It is a Baroque-style church built in the 18th century (completed in 1746) and is one of the most prominent landmarks in the old town of Poreč, often used for concerts and events due to its central location and acoustics. The yellow-orange façade and elegant simplicity make it easily recognizable.

Beautiful church situated in the centre of Porec, Croatia 🇭🇷

The Church was nice enough to let our Community Band set up here for an outdoor concert. What a great time and I certainly felt Our Lady was with us while performing.

Pizzeria Trattoria Da Toni in Poreč is a well-located restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere and professional, friendly staff. The menu offers delicious pizzas like margarita and quattro formaggi, as well as fantastic seafood dishes such as spaghetti vongolo, risotto with shrimps, and linguini with shrimps. The excellent service allows guests to fully relax and enjoy their meal.
I had a fantastic lunch today with the mixed grill platter, which included pork chops, sausages, and chicken. Everything was grilled to perfection and full of flavor. The portion was generous, and I felt completely satisfied by the end of the meal. The service was warm and attentive, and the central location made the experience even better. Highly recommend this spot for a delicious and enjoyable lunch!

We spent nine days in Porec and visited this restaurant six times during our stay. It's not easy to find a place that welcomes three dogs, but we were always treated very kindly here. On our third evening, our usual drinks were brought to us as soon as we sat down. All the food was excellent, especially the fish platter for one and the pork with mushroom sauce. The service and staff were extremely friendly. Special thanks for being so kind to our dogs. We will definitely be back! Agnes from Hungary

Food was really excellent, great quality and size. Service was fast, polite and professional. All the waiters are really nice people. The host lady was really polite and organized. Got us a nice table. All the tables were full in a short time, so if you are planning to visit, or have a meal with larger group (4+) it would be vise to make a reservation. Overall, would for sure recommend to visit while in Poreč.

The food was amazing, but the waiter insisted that te payment is cash only (we were told before the dinner, that card is accepted). Also we have to help to move our own desks.

great experience, food served quickly, good taste.

We stopped by because the menu looked appealing. I asked for a glass of tap water, but was told they only serve bottled water — something I found unusual, as tap water should be a simple courtesy. I ordered salmon noodles (good), my boyfriend had fried calamari (unfortunately very tough and hard to chew). When the waiter asked us if everything was ok, we politely mentioned it, the waiter responded with a rather unconvincing “sorry” and left. Shortly after, another woman at a nearby table complained, and the waiter reacted to her in the same dismissive way. The bill came to €42 for two dishes and one drink. While everyone can have a bad day in the kitchen, the attitude from the staff left a poor impression. Wouldn’t recommend. To overpriced for that attitude and food.

Wonderful and cozy family restaurant with great service. We felt very welcome. I ordered a Ciao Ciao plate to share with my son. Ohh man...that was a lot of meat. Shrimps and spaghetti were also very nice. Good food for a good price.

First class food and service. If you are fussy about quality and choice but don’t want to pay stupid ‘tourist’ prices for the pleasure, this is the place for you. An excellent environment in one of the smaller old town squares. The staff are very professional and friendly, the food is superb. Don’t pass the opportunity up.
