Kidderminster in 3 days

If you only have 3 days to spend in Kidderminster, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Kidderminster is known for its historic carpet industry, explored at the Museum of Carpet, and its position on the River Stour and Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal, which offer pleasant waterside walks. The town is a key base for riding the Severn Valley Railway, a preserved steam line running through scenic countryside to Bridgnorth. Nearby attractions include the extensive Wyre Forest for walking and cycling, and West Midlands Safari Park in Bewdley, making the area appealing for families and outdoor enthusiasts.
With favorites like Bistrot Pierre - Kidderminster, Home of Souvlaki, and Park Gate Inn, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Subway and Gainsborough House Hotel so you can get the best taste of Kidderminster while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

Theme park
West Midlands Safari Park is a 150-acre landscaped park that offers an exciting safari experience and a variety of attractions for the whole family. Visitors can embark on a thrilling drive through the safari to observe majestic animals like lions, zebras, rhinos, tigers, and elephants in their natural habitat. The park also features an array of rides including rollercoasters and themed walks such as ice age and dinosaur experiences.
One word FABULOUS. We stayed in the Tiger Lodge(with hot tub) 12th to 14th October 2025 for 2 nights with our 2 grandsons age 5 and 6 it was an experience they will never forget. We had only been in Lodge for about 40min when all 5 tigers came to visit us, we captured some brilliant photographs and videos. We received the gold wrist band so all rides on park were free and if you purchased anything from shops you received a 20% discount. It was amazing and boys loved the children's food they ate every bit. Lodge spotlessly clean and staff so helpful. Just one problem we didn't get much sleep as at night if boys heard anything they run straight into our bedroom to see if there were any tigers outside. Couldn't really get good photo's though. Would highly recommend. Thanks for a fabulous 2 night break. Will be back and maybe Cheetahs or Lions next.

A mixed bag. The drive round is hit and miss, as with any zoo/ animal attraction. Animals are their own boss and you can't predict when or if they will make an appearance which means you aren't guaranteed to see them. Not feeding the animals anymore is the right decision for the park but also means animals are less likely to come up to you. We paid extra for the safari tour so we did get to go closer than If we were in a car and had the knowledge of Tim telling us all about the different animals. Road has alot of pot holes so please be wary of that! The actual park is a bit dated now but the rides are still fun for the youger ones. The ice age walk and dinosaurs could do with a bit of TLC due to wear tear and weather damage. Hopefully the money they get from the lodges (approximately 500 for 2 adults per night)will be out back into the animals and actual attractions. All the staff were lovely, friendly helpful and knowledgeable. Take your own packed lunch. Food is expensive and overpriced. For the sake of 45 minutes I'd drive the extra and go to Dudley zoo personally.

We had an absolutely brilliant time at West Midlands Safari Park! I went with my family and from start to finish it was a perfect day. The safari drive-through was amazing — we got so close to the animals, and they all looked really healthy and well cared for. The lions, giraffes and rhinos were the highlights for us, and the staff along the route were friendly, helpful and clearly passionate about what they do. After the safari, we spent the afternoon in the theme park and it was just as good. There was something for everyone — fun rides for the kids, a few thrill rides for the grown-ups, and plenty of places to stop and relax in between. The whole site was clean, well organised and full of energy, and we never felt rushed or crowded. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into both the animals and the visitor experience. My family left with huge smiles and lots of great memories — we’re already planning our next visit! If you’re looking for a full day out that combines adventure, learning and fun for all ages, I can’t recommend West Midlands Safari Park highly enough. A solid 10 out of 10!

Get to see the animal in their own environment and you are inside your car . The entrance to lion, hyena, tiger, are all controlled thru electrified gates and reminded of Jurassic park !! The giraffe can be fed. Cottages are there for weekend stays and relax in a serene atmosphere. One feels very near to nature and animals . Kids will enjoy the Jurassic times , ice age, reptiles. stalls for food , snacks, coffee, gift items are there. A must visit place either children

I went with my family, my parents and my partner so as 4 adults. It was really great, I have always heard of such good things about this safari park and have been excited to visit for a long time, and it was really impressive and lived up to expectations. I have visited both Knowsley and Longleat before, and they were both impressive in their own right. What West Midlands Safari Park did best that made them different, was the lack of queues, the way the routes in the enclosures we laid out so you could get really close to the animals whilst the animals remained safe, some of their enclosures were huge and i absolutely loved just how much the park had to offer with all of these extra events, shows, talks and the walking part - we didn’t quite realise just how much the park would have to explore and adventure and we wish we had arrived earlier to truly experience it all. The staff were amazing, at every point they were kind, informative, friendly and helpful, a few initiated some small talk which really showed they cared, that they were passionate about the animals and their work, it made my day and really cheered me up just how nice everyone was. I will definitely be visiting again, considering just how much there is to enjoy the price is worth it. I really loved just how up close and personal we could get with the animals and my only complaint would be I wish there were more signage, it was confusing where we needed to go at certain points and we nearly missed the tigers during the drive thru and would’ve been great if they had their own dedicated space without having to look through bars or the plastic viewing points, and we sadly didn’t get to see the cheetah however I’m aware they are very shy animals so I can’t blame them! The animals we did get to see were amazing, I loved feeding the giraffes, I loved the sea lion show and how passionate the staff were, I loved seeing both the tiger on the drive thru feeding and the lions on the walk ripping at bones. I feel like we were very lucky with everything we got to see, and I love that there’s Dholes, I have never seen a Dhole in person before and I don’t know any other parks that have them, I found them the most exciting part of my trip just because I’ve always wanted to see a Dhole and I didn’t realise they were here :) I would love more merchandise specifically tailored and made for the park! Such as artwork, and anything to do with the Dholes c: I loved all the recycled plushies however and we got one of each thing that had been branded by West Midlands Safari park, we like to get souvenirs as memories specifically tailored to each park we have visited, and it’s our way of supporting the park.

All you could spect from a salary park that takes cares of animals and also visitors. Well organised, cleaned and very friendly staff. Animals look healthy and well take care ok. There are some rare species like white lions and large anacondas. Particularly amazed by the bats room where the animals fly arround. Food was also good in the Dyno Diner.
Roberto F — Google review
Great zoo. Ample space for the animals who roam a large area looking very happy. This location has a drive through safari as well as a walk through part, similar to a normal zoo. Lovely variety of animals often very close to the road. Food options are available in the zoo. Great sea lion show. Amazing theming. A large proportion of the zoo is also a theme park with lots of rides. Lots of huts you can stay in near the drive through safari. Good zoo with large paddocks.
R. G — Google review
We were totally thrilled with everything, the lodge was charming with huge windows that the tigers came right up to….. one looking deep into my eyes! I was excited for 48 hours. The meals were excellent too . I would recommend it to anyone who loves tigers as I do. I’ve waited 75 years to get so close, and Naresh gave me an enormous thrill.

Nature & Parks
Brinton Park, also known as the Peoples Park, is a large 30-acre green space that has been restored to its late Victorian and Edwardian era charm. Originally donated to the town by John Brinton in the 1880s, this park features trails, grassy areas, athletic fields, a skatepark, and a splash pad. The park boasts a children's playground and a new splashpad open from April to September.
Always kept beautifully well. Theres an old masonic monument, skate boad ramps and plently for the kids to do, theres a small neat shelter too.

This is an amazing park, a mix of open space, mature trees, play park, splash pad in warmer months, tennis courts, skate/sport scooter park and basketball hoops. Entertainment put on by bands and music troupes in the summer, Car park and plenty of space for dog walkers a real credit to Kidderminster

Really impressed.. my daughter wanted to go to a waterpark for the last day of the school holiday. We usually go to Mary Stevens Park but wanted to try somewhere different. Gutted that I have only just found this place. My girls had a great time at the park, so much for all of them. Then the waterpark was incredible, they absolutely loved it. I can imagine it gets very busy but we luckily went on a quiet day (think some schools were back and it was also rainy). We only did the park and waterpark so unsure what else is actually there but we will be returning which we can't wait for.

We celebrated our work’s Christmas party in a pub and found the staff to be very helpful and friendly, and nothing too much trouble for them. Food was good. Served in good time. We definitely will be back to try the normal menu.

A lovely time spent at The Watermill incorporated with our excursion to the Safari and Theme Park! Perfectly located with our stay at The Travelodge which was directly opposite! They say a place is considered great when it has good hospitality, and we can without a doubt say we had outstanding hosting, namely Sam and Lexi who demonstrated levels of impartial hospitality any employer of any establishment would desire, especially with them unknowingly having in their presence silver award winner Gideon Nash Director of Nature Care representing St Vincent and The Grenadines from the Chelsea Flower Show 2025! Top marks all the way for Sam and Lexi for making our trip more than pleasurable! We definitely recommend The Watermill to anyone visiting the area! 10 out of 10!!!!

A leisurely lunch by the canal. Table booked in advance. The QR ordering method can make it simple but doesn't allow for any 'swaps' of veg. Bar ordering works fine! Extensive menu. The food could have been hotter! Plenty of tables and space made for a very untroubled atmosphere.

It has been a long time since I last visited here and today there was a real improvement because as soon as we entered the pub for lunch we received a warm welcome from Amy and she also served us our food and checked everything was ok, really enjoyed our lunch, good portion sizes, I had hunters chicken with sweet potato fries, my friend enjoyed his chicken and mushroom pie. Amy shows excellent customer service which makes all the difference, thank you Amy. We then paid our bill and met the lovely manager Jan who was very kind and friendly and very we also had the discount off mains which is a great offer. Thank you Jan and Amy for the excellent customer service today and your warm welcome.

Sandwich shop
Subway is a popular casual counter-serve chain known for its build-your-own sandwiches and salads, offering health-conscious options. Visitors have praised the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the clean and well-maintained restaurant. The menu provides a good selection of sandwich options with the ability to customize orders with various toppings and sauces. Customers have enjoyed delicious and fresh sandwiches made with soft, high-quality bread, meats, and vegetables.
Just came in to pick up a ham and turkey foot long and bmt foot long and ended up having a lovely chat with a gentleman who we think is the owner? and he’s made our day with a simple conversation and I wish there were more people like him around in this day and age and wish him well for the future! Also the food is great, a very clean place and a happy team.
Nicole M — Google review
It is a shame that when forced to explain that you have a chronic condition and there is an immediate need to use the toilets, the three members of staff relied on one to repeat 'for customers only', when there are just two teenage girls sat in the place. Disgusting attitude from the staff.
Matt J — Google review
Ordered on just eat to wait over an hour to receive no food and have the order confirmed as delivered. To then be ignored when I try to phone the store as they wouldn't pick up the phone. Useless.

I recently visited Subway and it was a great experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. The menu had a good selection of sandwich options and I appreciated the ability to customize my order with various toppings and sauces. The sandwich I ordered was delicious and fresh. The bread was soft and had a nice texture, and the meats and vegetables were all of good quality. The service was quick and efficient, and my sandwich was made to order just the way I wanted it. Overall, I had a very positive experience at Subway and would definitely visit again in the future. I appreciate the convenience and affordability of their menu, and the quality of their food and service exceeded my expectations.

Gainsborough House Hotel is a traditional Georgian hotel offering simple rooms and meeting space. Despite its slightly tired exterior, the interior is well-maintained with friendly reception and nicely decorated rooms. The accommodations are clean and tidy, featuring spacious layouts with amenities like ironing facilities and hair dryers. The breakfast offers good value, typical of English hotels in this category. The hotel also caters to events such as weddings, providing clean and tidy rooms that could benefit from modernization.
Stayed here on business and loved it. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the towels were delightfully fluffy. The staff were also super friendly and provided an excellent level of service! I'm the girl who got mistaken for a member of staff because I was wearing a black T-shirt near reception. The staff were very polite and quick in correcting the customer.
Raquelle H — Google review
Gainsborough House Hotel were extremely accommodating last minute with our wedding guests. Danny and his team were incredibly helpful and supportive in giving us a quote for our guests. As well as providing us with competitive prices for all our guests, they created a range of rooms ranging from single occupancy to family rooms and triples. The rooms were clean and tidy but could have done with a little modernisation. The breakfast was of a good standard with a nice selection of hot food and plenty of cups of tea and coffee. The staff also looked after lost property after the event when one of our guests forgot something. Thank you for everything Gainsborough!
Oliver W — Google review
We go to the Gainsborough Hotel on a Thursday evening for Slimming World. Our room is light, airy and spacious. Very clean and comfortable. We pass the dining room en route to our room and the food smells amazing 😋. We have plans to have a meal once restrictions are lifted. There is loads of parking and the place is beautiful to look at. We really like it there 😊
Lesa G — Google review
The room standards are impeccable with fantastic facilities including, iron and hair dryer. The staff are friendly and welcoming from the front of house to the cleaning staff. However, the food quality was awful, very undercooked and not worth the money. The restaurant had a café feeling with no atmosphere or ambiance. The restaurant staff began to clear up and set up ready for breakfast around us whilst we ate which made us feel very uncomfortable. They were apologetic when we complained about the food however and offered us a free drink. I feel this would be an amazing hotel if the restaurant was worked on as this let the hotel standards slip from 5* to 3*
Teighan H — Google review
Looks a little tired on the outside, but is actually very good inside. Nicely decorated, clean and tidy. Reception was friendly and helpful. The room was a reasonable size with plenty of space for clothes. Also handy were the ironing facilities and hair dryer along with facility for hot refreshments Good sized bath, but toilet space a bit cramped. Very clean and tidy with a large comfy bed. The breakfast was good value and very similar to other English hotels of this standard. One complaint, WiFi in the room was only accessible in the bathroom area and near the room door. Almost impossible to get a signal in any other part of the room. Even so, would still be happy to recommend this hotel for a short break.
Will W — Google review
Overall it was a pleasant stay ! Check in was very fast and the receptionist was friendly and helpful with eatery recommendations! Room was clean and decent sized even with a nice view ! The only thing is that the kettle gets super hot and I burned my arm a little ! It’s a health and safety issue! Please replace the kettle ! Thank you .

Day 2

Southeast side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the southeast side side of town. Start the day off with Weavers Wharf Shopping Centre, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Land Oak. All together, your day would be filled with about 8 hours of non-stop fun.

Shopping mall
The Weavers Wharf Shopping Centre is a popular destination for family outings, offering a wide range of beloved stores. The mall is conveniently located near quality hotels suitable for weddings and conferences. One highlight of the centre is David Austin Roses, where visitors can enjoy lunch, dessert, and explore the plant sale area and home ware shop. With an ever-changing selection of rose varieties, there's always something intriguing to discover. The knowledgeable staff are happy to provide guidance on purchasing roses and their long-term care.
Only popped into McDonald’s to grab a coffee prior to attending a meeting at West Midlands Safari Park but it’s a nice centre and a great place to meet. Definitely will return and explore what else there is to offer. The large picture of a bacon roll available at the M&S cafe was quite a draw 😂
Mike P — Google review
M&S fine and Next and Boots. Fast food outlets cause queuing to enter the car park, so the owners are adding another? Car parking charges are far too high, you have to pay 20p extra to use their app!? Getting fined for being disabled and unable to access the raised ticket machines to scan your blue badge. Plenty of parking elsewhere, that is no use to the disabled. But getting overcharged and being fined is very easy for everyone. So this car park will likely be the final nail in the coffin of this town.
Barry E — Google review
shops ok poor for parking to expensive on takes ages to get into car park cos of queing for McDonald's!!!!!! not everyone likes eating tasteless fast food well done wyre forest council who thought this was a good idea to block up carpark

Shops were very backdated, not a lot to see and couldn't see the steam train as I went on a Friday and I wasn't aware it closed on Fridays. Few nice little cafes but only stayed an hour, wasn't worth the 45 min drive there
Suzy L — Google review
Weavers Wharf now consists of a handful of shops, a McDonald’s that causes traffic tailbacks, and soon, even more generic additions replacing the old Frankie & Benny’s. They’ve also made the parking more draconian… yay. Nothing else to say, really. Just glad I knew it when it was better.

Swan Shopping Centre

Shopping mall
Swan Shopping Centre is a popular spot, especially on Saturdays around noon. It's a bit quieter on Sundays. While some visitors find the town lacking in offerings lately, the shopping center still has decent shops and plenty of food options. The cleanliness of the place is commendable, thanks to the friendly and diligent cleaner. However, it's noted that the center has seen better days with some shops closing due to various reasons like Brexit and COVID-19 impacts.
Its a shame there are so many closed shops. There are plenty of charity shops, cafes, vape stores and there's poundland, card factory, mobile phone shops and CEX plus a few other decent shops around.
Beverley — Google review
Just returned from taking my 92 year old mother in her wheelchair to Kidderminster. She wanted to visit the Swan Centre so we parked in the disabled spaces (for some reason on the 3rd floor) and used the lift to the ground floor. We paid at the machine then headed to the Swan Centre entrance only to find the shutters pulled down. The two other exits were both stairs (See photos). We were trapped. We took the lift to each floor to look for an alternative way out but the only way was to wheel my mom down the slopes where the cars go which she obviously didn’t want to do. We ended up going back to the car and paying to park again at another car park. Absolutely shocking - what it there’d been a fire so the lifts stopped working? We would have been completely stuck. This presumably applies to people with pushchairs too! Don’t think I’ll be bothering with Kidderminster again.
Julia C — Google review
I mean, genuinely what can you say about the Swan Centre other than… if you’ve never been, I doubt you’ll be on your deathbed screaming, “Why, Lord, why didn’t I make time to visit?” If the Swan Centre were a colour, it would be grey. I walk through it maybe once a month and still couldn’t name a single shop inside. Not because I have a bad memory, but because the place is so bland that nothing has ever enticed me through a door. It’s not an offensive place and they do use the canopy outside for the Christmas light switch on. Unfortunately though it’s just forgettable, the shopping centre equivalent of white noise.
Chris G — Google review
Like all town centres this used to be brilliant but with traffic alterations in town to change bus routes and restrict cars it's going downhill fast.

Nestled in the heart of Kidderminster, Bistrot Pierre is an inviting all-day bistro that specializes in classic and seasonal French cuisine. This charming spot is perfect for any occasion, whether you're stopping by for a leisurely breakfast or indulging in a delightful six-course Soire gastronomic experience. Many patrons rave about their traditional English breakfast, which comes highly recommended for its quality and flavor.
Have been a couple times to date this year. Nice open, welcoming and interesting restaurant design. Good food and friendly staff. Nothing to dislike.

I've lived near here for over 2 years and walked past this place many, many times but, last week, I was handed a flyer as I walked past offering two breakfasts with drinks for £13.50. We went and tried it out and I can honestly say that it was the best breakfast we have found in, or near, Kidderminster. We had a traditional English breakfast with orange juice and coffee. Everything was cooked extremely well, the plates were hot and the staff were friendly. To test it out, as to whether we were just first time lucky, we went back a few days later and it was just as good. Scrambled eggs were done to perfection, as were the poached ones. It's good value, even at full price but, at the promotional price, it's amazing. Bistrot Pierre will be seeing a lot more of us in the future.

Would not recommend for breakfast. We were seated at a table, asked if we wanted to order drinks which we did. Our drinks took over 20mins to arrive. There were only 4 other tables in the restaurant. We ordered our breakfasts, to be told they had no sausages for a breakfast. This should have been said when we were seated. I opted for the veggie breakfast instead, my partner had the standard breakfast, he was offered extra bacon or eggs in exchange for not having sausages. After ordering our drinks finally arrived. We then waited 30mins for our breakfasts to arrive. The standard breakfast looked dry and was over cooked. The veggie breakfast was abysmal. Poached eggs were very under cooked, I was given bread and not toast with no butter. The avocado was brown and I also found egg shell in my food. The new potatoes were barely cooked. We did complain, I was offered another breakfast to which I refused. The veggie breakfast and my drink were taken off our bill. When we asked for the bill, we then waited another 15mins for the bill to arrive. At this point there were only 3 other tables including us in the restaurant. Customer service could be improved also.

Had a nice afternoon with an afternoon tea, it was nice but I've had better and there wasn't much to it, and you only got 1 hot drink. But the place was really nice and staff were lovely.

We have been several times so decided to try the Soiré gastronomic. Well! Absolutely divine. Six courses of the most beautiful food. Attentive waiter and waitress. An evening to remember. We even booked in for the next one in two weeks. Can't wait.... Very good food, very reasonable prices.

Warm welcome and quiet lunchtime, for a tasty £10 lunch of very good food. Coq au vin and Pork medallions. No room for dessert! We would definitely return.

Severn Valley Railway is a heritage railway that spans 16 miles between Bridgnorth in Shropshire and Kidderminster. The Safari Express Train Ride offers family-friendly attractions, taking passengers from the car park to the Amusement Area with stunning views over the Severn Valley. The area boasts 30 thrilling rides and amusements, including the Venom Tower Drop and Zambezi Water Splash.
We had the breakfast experience with 4 adults. We were treated so well, all the staff from the platform to the train were so friendly and helpful, the breakfast was lovely and large including the pastries and drinks. It was all very relaxing. At the station there is a little museum/cafe and a shop, there is also lots of second hand books. Highly recommended.

Fantastic day out, the journey along the line is wonderful, there is plenty to keep the enthusiast and someone looking for a good day out interested. Will be going back and still a lot to see and do. Would recommend investing the parking first, it's incredibly limited at Kidderminster and if you need special parking needs you may be a little ok let down but there is also the main station carpark next door

The Severn Valley Railway is a great affordable heritage Railway 🛤 steaming between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth. We had a marvellous time, having lunch in Bridgnorth and walking around the Castle 🏰 Gardens and Thomas Telford's church ⛪️ where we were made to feel very welcome and had tea, coffee ☕️ and biscuits. A grand day out!

Had a truly lovely day today. 12/6/25. We had my Fathers ashes scattered here today in a lovely area along the journey. The staff were so kind and caring towards us. They gave us pride of place at the front of the first carriage behind the engine in our own private area. We had a lovely cup of tea along the way. All the staff on the station and the engine driver and fireman and train staff were very informative and very kind lovely people. Thankyou all for helping to give my father the send off he wished for!

Great place to visit, like going back in time, beautiful scenery along the way and some lovely places to stop off at, Arley has been our favourite stop so far!! Just be careful when parking your car the severn valley railway parking is to the right as you drive in not the main Kiddiminster train station parking! got fined for parking in the wrong area!!!

Well worth a visit, we had a great day visiting the station shop, and having a trip on the SVR to Bridgenorth. Also called at Highly to visit the visitors centre, a great café and an amazing museum. Dropped of at Arley for a quick walk to the Arley Arboretum puckibg up an iiceceam on the way🫠👍

It was my 1st visit to this pub and it was certainly worth the visit. The staff are very polite and pleasant. There’s a good selection on the menu and reasonable prices. I had the mixed grill which was really tasty and I would certainly have it again in the future. Highly recommended

Food was really over cooked. Had burger and steak table 25. Had to get our own knife and fork which was strange. No one asked if the meal was ok or checked. Chips over cooked and black bits where the fryer need changing. Steak was burnt to crisp and fatty. The burger was ok but yeah not great

Booking easy.. bar staff amazing as always! Waiting staff polite. Food was delicious, hot and came out together and has really improved compared to visits previously. 30% off deal on too which made it even better. Literally can’t fault the service for a last minute large booking.. Thank you.

Nice atmosphere, good value, and tasty food from the new menu. Staff are polite and very helpful. Thank you again for making us feel welcome. Updated 11th July 25 In the hot weather, ideal place as they have air-conditioning.

We came here a few months ago and were not impressed at all. But thought, may be, we'll chance and may be it was a one off bad experience. Unfortunately, this time we were again so disappointed, chips are worse then cheap oven chips, very dry. My chicken breast meal was so dry and bland, just about tiniest amount of cheese and bbq sauce only on top middle. My children didn't eat their food either. What a waste of money. Also, NO regular drinks menu at all, a small glass lemonade £3.10 same with small pepsi. It's only basic to want to know prices before you go up the bar to order stuff. My friend was so angry too. I was embarrassed for convincing her and her daughter to come with us. 0stars. Ask local people before you come as most visitors are those that don't know as it's on main road. Many fake reviews here, I see.
Starry S — Google review
I recently visited The Land Oak pub in Kidderminster and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The service was also very quick, with my order being taken promptly and my food arriving in a timely manner. Speaking of the food, it was absolutely delicious. I was impressed with the range of options on the menu, from classic pub fare like fish and chips to more unique offerings like a goat's cheese and beetroot salad. My meal, a steak and ale pie, was cooked to perfection with a generous helping of tender meat and flavorful gravy. The portions were also very generous, and I definitely felt like I got my money's worth. In terms of atmosphere, The Land Oak has a cozy and inviting feel. The decor is warm and traditional, with plenty of seating options both indoors and out. There was a great buzz of conversation throughout the pub, which added to the overall ambiance. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at The Land Oak pub in Kidderminster. The friendly staff, quick service, and delicious food made for an enjoyable meal out, and I would definitely recommend this pub to others.

The land oak is a nice pub, the decor is nice and all the tables were clean. The waitress was very efficient, and took our orders promptly. We ordered a sirloin steak and a pizza. The steak could of been a bit more tender, but it was still good. The portion sizes was also good as I was stuffed after. The pizza was a nice stone baked one, my partner liked it. I thought this meal was good value for money.

Whether you're stopping by for a quick breakfast or enjoying their famous Tapas Tuesday special, the menu is sure to impress. Very busy for a Sunday afternoon. Cydney provided 10/10 customer service during out visit after a minor mishap with one of the meals. Staff made sure tables were cleared and cleaned quickly and smiled despite being extremely busy. Drinks arrived very quickly and love that you can order on the app to the table!

Very welcoming at the bar with quick service. I had the Tapas Tuesday special with a drink for under £14: Lamb kofte; Louisiana Chicken, and the Korean King Prawns with a good Cruzcampo. Hopefully, I'll return soon and stick with the lamb, but try two other tapas. Worth a look.

We had breakfast at Tapetto Lounge and really liked the vibe as it was cozy and relaxed. You can order on your phone with the QR code or just go up to the bar. I went for a sausage butty - simple and satisfying! My husband had the full English, and our friend had the eggs Benedict. Everything was tasty, everyone was happy, and it was a nice, casual spot to start the day.

Y: fairly standard for the chain of lounges. I had this birria toastie which was pretty delicious. I liked the Parmesan sprinkled on top. I wasn’t a fan of the sweet peppers but I’m sure someone else would like it. The sauce that came with it was nice. E: the lighting was quite dark, it was cloudy outside though. Couldn’t cross my legs under the table either and the table of 6 was pretty tight. Really good food though. Had the veggie breakfast, normally like bread on the side but they put the egg on top which was still nice. Good amount of yolk. There was also veggie frittas which were a welcome addition to make the breakfast more interesting. Ordered through app.

We had an absolutely delicious breakfast at Tapetto Lounge. Great food, lovely coffee, friendly staff, spacious and pleasant interior with nice music. So glad we came here while visiting Kidderminster.

Quirky large cafe with a mix of sofas and dining tables. The table wasn't clean when I was there this week for coffee with friends. Free self service water . Orde4 and pay at the bar then have food and drinks delivered. When weather permits there is plenty of seating area by the little river but no good views sadly. Its just a handy town centre cafe.

Greek restaurant
Home of Souvlaki in Kidderminster offers a fantastic dining experience with its amazing food, friendly staff, and pleasing atmosphere. While some customers found the service slow, others praised the superb atmosphere and delicious food. The restaurant's interior is beautifully decorated, creating a welcoming ambiance for guests to enjoy their Greek cuisine. The mixed grill for 2 is highly recommended as it offers generous portions and delightful Greek pastry desserts to top off the meal.
Our first time visiting and we were not disappointed. We arrived midday on a Sunday and we were the only people inside so it was quiet. However the decor paired with the music created a nice atmosphere. We both ordered the chicken yeeros and they were absolutely delicious. The portions were generous and very reasonably priced. We look forward to returning and trying out the rest of the menu.

Ended up stopping by here after my sister recommended it. Amazing Greek authentic restaurant, lovely decor and staff were fantastic. All the tables were clean and the food was delicious & fresh, really generous portions and price was really reasonable too. Staff were really attentive. Will be coming back soon. The home made sauces were delicious. The chicken kebab platter is recommended. Chicken was marinated and seasoned.

My son suggested this place as he reckoned it had the most authentic food outside of Greece 🇬🇷 He was right. A real gem of a place with generous portions of quality food, and such a variety. Great for kids and families. They put some tables together for us. Much laughter- great vibe. Could have been somewhere far, far away. Epic!

I'm delighted to share our wonderful experience at Home of Souvlaki in Kidderminster. Being enthusiasts of Greek cuisine, our first visit to this restaurant was nothing short of amazing. The food surpassed our expectations, leaving us thoroughly pleased and satisfied. The Greek beer served alongside further enriched our dining experience. The restaurant's interior, with its pleasing decor, created a welcoming atmosphere. Admittedly, the room could have been a bit warmer, but considering we visited during winter, it was a minor inconvenience. Overall, we left very pleased with the delightful flavors and ambiance. We are already looking forward to returning on our next visit to Kidderminster. Highly recommended for fellow Greek food enthusiasts.
Gita — Google review
The food was really good and very reasonably priced, only £13.50 for a main course and drink! The only negative was that it took 45mins for our food to come, but the restaurant was practically empty with only 12 people in it so we weren't sure why it was a very long service wait. Overall would definitely recommend, but service could have been improved.
Rach C — Google review
Food was excellent and the staff were lovely! Would definitely recommend! We had the mixed grill for 2 and it was more than enough for 2 people. They also gave us 2 greek pastry desserts that were gorgeous 🤤
Stacey H — Google review
Food great, service and staff are even greater. Good value for money food, but wine way too expensive. Will probably become a firm favourite for the eating out experience, but wine is lower in price everywhere and the two Indian restaurants in the same street offer BYOB, so maybe they should think on regarding the drinks question?

Nestled in the heart of Kidderminster, AJ's Diner is a charming British eatery that caters to all your dining needs—whether you prefer to dine in, take away, or enjoy delivery. The diner prides itself on its friendly atmosphere and exceptional service; patrons often rave about the welcoming staff who make every visit special.
Not the cheapest for a small breakfast but it's a larger meal than most, also the service and environment make it good value. Very efficient service. Well presented. Lovely environment. Everything cooked perfectly. Would recommend. Plenty of one hour parking spaces around.

Absolutely delighted with my visit to AJ’s Diner in Kidderminster—a true gem that lives up to its glowing reputation. We attended here the morning of Sat 21st June on the Kidderminster Ale Tour, to start off the day. From the moment I stepped through the door, the warm, welcoming atmosphere set the tone for what turned out to be a thoroughly satisfying experience. The highlights? Without a doubt, the B.E.S.T. and bacon sandwiches. The B.E.S.T being a towering creation of bacon, egg, sausage, and tomato that was as fresh as it was generous. Each bite delivered on flavour and quality, with thick-cut bacon cooked to perfection and eggs that were clearly cracked fresh that morning. It was so substantial, I couldn’t finish it in one sitting—but the lovely staff were more than happy to wrap it up for me to take away. That kind of thoughtful service really sets a place apart. The coffee was another standout - it paired beautifully with the hearty breakfast and rounded off the meal with a comforting finish. What truly made the visit memorable, though, was the team behind the counter. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, striking that perfect balance between attentive and relaxed. It’s clear they take pride in what they do, and it shows in both the food and the service. If you’re in Kidderminster and craving a proper breakfast done right, AJ’s Diner is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back—and next time, I’ll come with an even bigger appetite.

Great find right by Kidderminster station. I was walking along the River Severn with a friend, so stopped here for a hearty breakfast. Our first visit here on a sunny Sunday late morning. Thought we’d call by for some things, a drink and some breakfast. Read that it was very dog friendly which was a plus for us. However, the food took nearly 3/4 hour to come out, a table by us who we were talking to waited the same time just for their drinks which isn’t good. The food when it did come out was decent to be fair. The young girls bringing out the food were lovely. Many tables were not being cleared which isn’t good. So we have to assume they were short staffed, if not then I don’t know why everything was so slow. It was busy and we always take this into account but even so. Not a great first impression. The garden centre itself looked nice, we bought some things. Theres plenty of parking. They have the main cafe inside too, not 100% sure dogs are allowed in all parts although their website does say allowed in the cafe too. On a day like today there was good seating outside. The cutlery was on a small table outside that we hadn’t first seen. Would have been helpful if the staff bringing out the food had just pointed this out. That was low on cutlery and napkins too. So I think overall things could have been a tad better. Maybe in the week it’s an entirely different story. We will come back I think. Hence only 3 stars today.

Went in hoping for a late lunch and a relaxed browse for a Sunday afternoon. Managed a quick snack, but the kitchen had already shut – well before the advertised 3pm. Then came the countdowns: “20 minutes”, “15 minutes”, “10…” all well ahead of the actual 4pm closing. Doors were locked behind us as we were still browsing, and everyone was chucked out by 3.50 - much to the surprise of many customers. Felt less like a customer, more like a problem. It’s run for staff convenience, not visitor experience. Shame – could be a lovely place if they actually wanted people there.

Held my daughter's baby shower at Hodgehill Garden Centre yesterday - we hired the Lounge area in the cafe and had the room for our exclusive use for the afternoon. Scott the cafe Manager orchestrated the event perfectly; from my initial enquiry to when we left yesterday, nothing was too much trouble. Scott went above and beyond, to make sure everything ran smoothly. The room was already laid out as we had discussed - it looked fabulous. Scott helped us decorate the room when we arrived, and stayed to serve the guests welcome drinks which was lovely. We were left alone to enjoy our tea, but Scott checked on us periodically to make sure everything was okay. All the staff were top class - the service was excellent. The afternoon teas were exquisite and highly recommended, but then the food served there is always of exceptional quality. All dietary requirements were catered for. I can't recommend the cafe at Hodgehill Garden Centre highly enough - for the superb staff, quality of food, fabulous room, cleanliness, and overall service - it is the perfect venue. Unfortunately the maximum rating is only 5 stars - it is certainly worthy of many more!!

I was very excited to see a vegan breakfast so came specifically for that. Some lovely alternatives such as spinach and peppers. Unfortunately it was all cold when it arrived (as was my husbands non vegan option). It was rectified quickly and a warm one replaced by which time toast and coffee were cold. In addition to this there was one less sausage on the plate even though I’d only taken a slice off the end of one on the original plate. We had to clean off the cutlery before use and the table was sticky - venue could do with a bit of a refurb. All in all a disappointing and decidedly average breakfast. We won’t be back which is a shame as the front of house staff were friendly and welcoming and dealt with my problem quickly.

My gardening sister was very impressed with the quality of the plants and shrubs. She said they were all watered and looked after. The prices were reasonable, we went mid week, and it was buzzing with customers buying and eating in the café. Well, worth a visit, we will be visiting again soon.

The Rose Theatre

Performing arts theater
The Rose Theatre is a charming venue run by a charity, offering a variety of local and visiting productions as well as live music concerts. It features modern facilities with an 181-seat theatre and a studio that accommodates up to 60 people. Administered by the Nonentities, both amateur and professional plays are presented throughout the year. The theatre also boasts a good bar and tea/coffee area, along with ample free parking.
'The Incident Room' was a slow-starter on 27th Feb, but definitely a nice escape from the TV. Some stand-out performances and, as always we were pampered(?) by the lovely staff from arrival to 'goodnight'. A good evening out!

I have recently been to see Les Miserables, it was amazing the youth actors were fernomal. The voices and acting was out this world. Great performance to all involved.

Great little theatre, known for excellent amateur dramatic productions. You could sit anywhere for a good view. Although rows b, c, d don't seem to raked. Very small carpark so look up parking before you go.

Lovely little place. Really friendly staff and a great atmosphere. We had tickets on the very back row and the view is obscured by a handrail which was a shame. Unsure if they have microphones but the lack of them in the performance we watched made it hard to hear at times. All in all this place is an absolute gem and should be appreciated by all.

Went to watch "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" A beautiful quaint little theatre. Perfect seats and priced perfectly compared to the larger theatres. It was a brilliant production fantastically executed. This was the 1st time I have been in a while and will not hesitate to go again.

Great local theatre with good bar and also a tea and coffee area .Plenty of free parking around the theatre ,the staff are all very helpful. Tonight the nonentities put on a great show of Agatha Christies and then there were none .I highly recommend going to see one of the many shows they have on here

Harvington Hall, located in Worcestershire, is a stunning Elizabethan and Georgian mansion with a rich history. The hall boasts surviving priest holes, rare wall paintings, four chapels, and charming gardens. It offers guided tours that provide insight into the life of its owners during the Elizabethan era as Catholics. The tour includes exploration of the numerous priest holes within the house.
Such a treasure, so well preserved and Jill our guide really brought the house to life. Would recommend this for all ages. Saw 5 of the 7 priest hides in the house. The house is a virtual time warp, having not been renovated much through its life. Allow at least 1 hour

What a fantastic place, off the beaten track but well worth the journey. The volunteers are brilliant, great fun, and knowledgeable. They bring the place to life. The star attractions are the priest holes and the amazingly uneven floors. What's more, the Tudors knew how to deal with small children. The Cafe is also a delight, well done all.

The return, came here on a school trip now for my dad's 90th birthday party. Good food in the cafeteria. Really enjoyed it. PS. If tall watch out for the ceiling beams especially in the men's toilets.🤕

Harvington Hall dates in places to the 13th Century, but is mainly a tudor Manor Farmhouse dedicated to hiding Catholic Priests during the reign of Elizabeth 1. A fascinating place to explore, that gives guided tours as well as a free flow experience.
John E — Google review
This is a fascinating property, unique in that it has more Priest Holes than any other British property, seven in all. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and quite unhurried so be prepared for a two hour tour. Built in the 16th century there isn't a level floor in the house. The tour shows the location of several of the Priest Holes whilst visiting many of the Hall's rooms. Visit this interesting place, you won't be disappointed. The cafe serves delicious cakes and hot chocolate too.

Privileged to have a great guide in Andy who brought the history and secrets of this amazing building to life. He imparted years of acquired knowledge in a captivating manner. The building itself has charm and layers of interest. Well worth a visit. Plenty of parking and tasty treats can be purchased at the cosy cafe.

Great place off the beaten track to go with some great local pubs too. The best part is the knowledge from the volunteers. Genuinely say the best I have been with! Great informative tour and some great knowledge and surroundings

We were given an extensive historical tour of the house by a lady in period Elizabethan dress. So filled with historical detail and priest holes (Humphrey Pakington, the owner, was a Catholic). The manor dates from the C14 but the building itself is C16. Dining facilities are available pictured on the left in the second photograph.

Unfortunately I can't go in this place without spending money! Always a little bargain or something nice for the house. Had a good sale selection when I last went in, wasn't just the odd bits no one wants but some nice homewear and artificial plants , even got a lovely little outfit for my 3year old for £3 . If you like a good mooch take your purse!

The shop that sells preowned things prior to them actually being owned. The range is eclectic (in a good way) and contents ranges from shoes through to jackets and then onto garden benches and dog bowls. The staff were friendly enough and prices reasonable. A great place to shop if you need to buy a welcome mat, t-shirt and flamingo candle set during one trip.

This cozy spot offers an extensive menu featuring not just a variety of coffees and teas but also delicious light bites like salads, sandwiches, and pastries to satisfy any craving. Frequent visitors rave about the exceptional service provided by the friendly staff who greet customers with warm smiles and genuine kindness.
i frequently get my coffee from here and i honestly cannot fault the staff, they’re always incredible and so polite, even with my awkward drinks order (oat shaken espresso with pumpkin spice syrup and cold foam) special shout out to the young lady with the bright pink curly hair (previously blue hair), i wish i had names to mention a few more but honestly your whole team is a credit, the manager must also be doing something right as the staff are always cheery. thank you guys for always giving a positive experience 💕☕️

Don’t recommend, 4 staff were working 1 in office, 4 males 1 lady. We waited at least 5/10 minutes to be served even though the place was empty! Then a customer came in complaining about drinks which made it even longer for us. They messed up both of our drinks. When I asked for less ice (in a polite manner) they were all just stood still STARING at me! We then went to sit down and I could see how filthy the floor was and this was all around the floor! Definitely hasn’t been cleaned in a very long time. 4 staff members here yet all the cups are on tables and tables not clean. From someone who use to be an employee from Starbucks this really was disappointing and even as a customer this felt very unhygienic to eat around. The staff stood at the bar even though no customers and started having really inappropriate conversations in front of us. Not a good experience at all!!
Grace H — Google review
I seem to be here a lot these days. Everything about Starbucks is… fine. Coffee? Fine. Food? Fine. Selection? Fine. Seating area ?Fine Service? Also fine. That said, one guy was genuinely awesome—he gave us a full coffee experience and helped me discover a drink that’s now my unique go-to and involves a selection of non-standard blends and foams. The rest of the time, though, the experience has been pretty transactional. It's not a bad thing, just generally unremarkable. Starbucks = totally acceptable and that's how it should be. It's totally fine. 26/5/25 Popped in to have a few drinks today, I have to say I'm starting to agree with some comments around cleanliness of the seating area. Dirty cups on about 1/3 of the tables a couple on staff on
Chris G — Google review
Been coming here a few weeks and the drinks being made are progressively getting worse, made really bland with missing ingredients. Today we asked if there was any extra food (the fridge had zero sandwiches) and the Shaggy Doo looking guy who served us instantly said "No" and then told us it's card only as we tried to pay with cash....didn't look to see if there were any sandwiches or wraps just "No" our drinks arrived without hazlenut as requested and the frappucino had zero taste... Safe to say we won't be coming here again.

The staff are some of the kindest, friendliest and patient people I’ve met. I will be honest I’m a frequent visitor to this Starbucks and the team always have a smile on their faces and offer the best service. I get making coffee of various forms is long and can take time but the staff always are kind and apologetic if needed. The music playing always makes me smile and the staff seem to have a laugh and support each other. I come back to this Starbucks for a reason. Well done team!
Aidan S — Google review
Went to check this location out today, really poor selection of sarnies. I asked for the filtered coffee, asked if this was still valid for free refills, I got told the filtered coffee is valid for free refills but there isnt any is available at the moment and it would take twenty minutes to be ready, I then got told I could have an americano but that is not valid for free refills, I asked what the difference is between a black americano and filtered coffee and was told its a different pot?? This didnt make much sense to me, I wanted to start visiting this site on a regular basis to do some work on the laptop but after the no filtered coffee option today I will give it a miss. Back to Costa.
NON-CONTACT F — Google review
I visited your drive-thru recently and was disappointed with the service. Despite being the only customer in line and seeing that the store was fully staffed, our drinks were both incorrect, and the service took much longer than expected. This level of service fell short of what I’d expect and hope it can be addressed.
Ziva S — Google review
It seems Starbucks don't train people in basic customer training. Stood there patiently waiting, four members on staff work. Not one even acknowledged me. That's all it takes, a smile and be with you in a minute sir. They just seem to talking on their headsets, even though no one was in drive through, so guessing chatting amongst themselves. Because gossip is more important then customers....... After waiting for too long without even any acknowledgement, not even some eye command smile I gave up and left. Costa was round the corner, they had my business instead.

At this point, I've had a Zinger Double Down every day it's been available (3 days, I'm somewhat of a connoisseur now) and this was the best of the bunch. Quality hot wings too, good amount of parking, plenty of empty tables. One of the Colonel's finest eateries.

Regardless that an online order was placed, and you go through the drive threw to collect the order, you get told to wait in the parking lot for 30mins plus. This is to ensure their stats show what a great job they are doing turning orders through quickly when in fact their parking lot is full of people waiting for their orders! We waited for almost an hour for our order!

Second time I’ve ordered from kfc in Kidderminster via Uber and both times food as been cold and both times items missing.asked uber driver where is my missing item and the reply was ask kfc.decided this time I’d phone and ask for my missing items(1.5 litre bottle of Pepsi) and was told I’d have to come and collect, was unable to collect due to looking after my child could they redeliver missing items to be told no id have to collect them.appalling customer service, food cold again and out of pocket from missing items.thanks kfc Kidderminster! UPDATE: thanks for the reply but judging by the amount of 1 star reviews you have over most of the major review sites I think spending your time getting your customer service and staff upskilled would be more beneficial than replying back to me.all the best of luck as I you certainly need it.

Oh wow what a gem of a place...really busy with a great atmosphere. We had a couple of drinks before our table was ready...great drinks and reasonable price. We ordered Chicken Malai Tikka, Chicken Garlic Fry, Chicken Korma, cheese and garlic nan, mushroom rice, salt and chilli paneer and onion bhajees, all of the food was exceptional...full of flavour, presented brilliantly and such good price. Staff were absolutely rushed off their feet but they were all so friendly and really looked after us. We don't live local...was just up for the football but would do the 3hr drive just to come back for another curry it was that good !!! Wall 2 Wall please open up a restaurant in Suffolk 😂

I thought the overall visit was great. The front of house staff on arrival were friendly, very attentive and quick with drinks orders. When the starters came out, they were also quick to ask of everything’s okay. ….however, the ONLY thing I’d say unfortunately is the wait on food. We were here for 1hr and had only had drinks and one sharing starter. The food eventually came 1hr 20minutes. The food was lovely but maybe they were short staffed in the kitchen. It’s a shame as it did hinder the all over experience and left me not wanting to return 😖

I can’t believe I have almost lived in Kiddy for two years & yet hadn’t tried this place until today! I’m so glad I did! We had a korma, butter chicken, garlic naan & rice. Everything was delicious! We didn’t have to wait too long & it arrived hot! I thoroughly enjoyed every single bite - and personally I found the portion sizes perfect, especially for such brilliant prices! We also got a Negroni & White Russian. The food menu is impressive but the cocktail menu is crazy! The interior design is also very groovy, I’m a big fan. I’m already planning my next visit! P.S they do delivery too!

Arrived at 7pm on the dot and were quickly shown to our table for 2. We then had to wait 15 minutes before anyone came to take a drinks order. We then had another 15 minutes wait before someone arrived to take our food order. We ordered 2 Tapas dishes and 2 dishes from the grill. The tapas dishes were brought out quite quickly and were delicious. There was then another lengthy wait, 20 to 25 minutes, before the main dishes arrived, which again were delicious. All in all, the food was very good, the service was the let down. So if you want good food and are prepared to wait this is the place to go. If on the other hand you want quick service I would suggest wall2Wall Stourport, as the service there is impeccable.

First impressions weren’t great. We was 15 mins early to which they said a table wasn’t ready for another 30 mins (we had booked for 1830) which is fine. We eventually got seated on a dirty table. To then we waited 20 mins for a drinks order. And then another 20 mins for a food order. Food then took an hour to come. And we was served by a very ill mannered guy. Unfortunately I have forgotten his name. We asked why Yh such long waiting times, we wasn’t even made aware that there might have been longer waiting times. All he kept saying is that it was all on time and that it was US that was late. Well this wasn’t true, we had to move the car! Because of the long waiting times. It wasn’t only use complaining, unfortunately there was a few other tables that weren’t happy. Even another guest that had booked a table, they said they didn’t have the room for them! Not very good at all. They need to go on a basic Customer service course I think. Oh come to think of it also, there was a very bad smell as you walked into the restaurant… I thought it was piss but was told it might have been a room odour thing 🤣

During my recent travels, I made a delightful pit stop at this charming eatery. The interior was impeccably clean, creating a welcoming atmosphere right from the start. The menu was straightforward and easy to navigate, offering an impressive selection of dishes that cater to various tastes. I opted for the mixed meat with chips, which turned out to be perfectly cooked—those chips were some of the best I've had in ages! The kebab meats were flavorful without being greasy, making for a satisfying meal overall.

We were staying nearby in an Airbnb for a hen party with a large group, and this pub absolutely made our weekend! The owner was so lovely and welcoming from the start. They kindly let us use the car park over the weekend, which was a huge help. The staff were even better – everyone was so friendly, cheerful, and prompt with our orders. The bartenders had great energy, and the kitchen staff kept the good vibes going with brilliant music and lots of laughs. The food was lush – really tasty and perfect for the occasion. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to eat, drink, and celebrate. Highly recommend if you're in the area – we’ll definitely be back!

Bad start. Good finish Had a lovely meal this week. Friendly staff and perfect overall experience. We was reluctant to try it again after rude staff, a manager that didn't seem bothered and although we are smokers the chef was outside smoking or on the phone. While we was told an hours wait on our food. After our bad experience that was about 3 weeks ago. I'm glad we tried again because it was really good. I'm assuming new managers have taken over as staff were really friendly, I told someone that we'd had a bad experience before and a kitchen member came out to speak to us.

New managers are brilliant- they have cleaned up the pub and made it much nicer place to be - the food has improved massively and instead of looking for another place for a pint and a bag of crisps on an evening we will be at the park gate. We stopped for tea - and the food didn’t disappoint either - perhaps new faces is just what the pub needed

Feel sorry for new owner who was very nice, however as a new owner I would be checking every detail. As an executive head chef working in dubai and in hospitality. The food unfortunately has to be the worse I have tasted in a long time. Wrong pie served first, then new one came out that had been rushed in a microwave so pastry rock solid. Had to asked for gravy to be heated up. Rice on partners plate was cold. All in all terrible. Our first time and unfortunately wont be returning any time soon when in uk. Hope the new owner turns it around.
