Visiting Mehrangarh Fort is always an amazing experience — I’ve been here twice, with a gap of 10 years, and the feeling of awe remains the same. The fort’s beauty and grandeur are truly timeless. Parking is available below the fort in a large designated area for around ₹50 per car. From there, you walk up to the entry gate to purchase your tickets. You also have the option to hire a guide or rent an audio device (about ₹180 per device). The audio guide works with numbered points displayed around the fort, making it easy to follow along with the history. There’s also a lift facility that can take you directly to the top, allowing you to explore the fort from top to bottom. However, if you take the lift, you will skip points 1–6, so make sure to listen to those explanations before you start, since the audio device has to be returned at point 33. Exploring the fort properly takes at least 1–2 hours, and every corner feels worth it. I also tried the Makhaniya Lassi at their café — definitely a good choice to refresh yourself during the visit. The staff at the fort are very humble and helpful, which adds to the experience. The only advice I would strongly give is: avoid visiting in the summer. The heat can be unbearable. The best time is during the core winter months.

This is one of the most important places to visit while in Jodhpur. This fort is amazing to see both inside and outside the fort. You can get here by Tuk Tuk and pay entry at the ticket office which starts at fort entrance. They accept card payments and also cash. It costs 800 Rupees per person to see the fort but worth it. You can spend approximately 2 hours here walking around and enjoying the historic buildings. It is quite warm here but there are cafes around the fort if you need to buy drinks. There are also toilets on site. I would highly recommend you visit this fort. You can also exit the fort through the Blue City side which is also another nice experience exiting the fort through the Blue City. It gets very busy from early. It is best to come at opening time which is 9am.

We visited Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur on March 1, 2025 with our family, and the experience was truly unforgettable. The fort stands as one of Rajasthan’s finest—beautifully preserved and showcasing the true splendour of Marwar’s royal heritage. From the moment you walk through the huge entrance gates, the grandeur is evident. Intricate carvings, elegant jharokhas, spacious courtyards and towering walls paint a vivid picture of the royal era. The museum is equally impressive, featuring royal costumes, weapons, miniature paintings and palanquins that perfectly capture the history and culture of Jodhpur. The entry fee is ₹200 per person, and ₹100 for senior citizens. We didn’t hire any guide but if you want you cant get guide there. For those who prefer not to climb the steep pathways, there is a lift service for ₹50 per person, which takes you directly to the main courtyard — very convenient, especially for families and elders. We spent about 2–3 hours exploring the fort at a comfortable pace. The views from the top are absolutely stunning — a full panoramic view of the Blue City, especially magical during sunset. The fort also has clean washrooms, a nice café offering tea and snacks with scenic views, and a souvenir shop with good-quality local handicrafts. Overall, Mehrangarh Fort is a must-visit in Jodhpur — grand, informative and family-friendly. A perfect mix of history, architecture and breathtaking views.

Absolutely stunning fort! The architecture, views, and museum displays are incredible. The view of the Blue City from the top is unforgettable. The fort is well maintained, clean, and has helpful staff. The audio guide adds great context to the history. It can get a bit hot, so try to visit early morning or evening. Truly a must-visit in Jodhpur!

We really loved visiting Mehrangarh Fort. It was built in 1459 by Rao Jodha and is one of the biggest forts in Rajasthan. The view from the top is amazing. Inside the fort, there is a museum where you can see old weapons, paintings, and royal items. The entry ticket is ₹200 for adults. If you have a student ID card, the ticket price becomes half. The place is very clean, well managed, and a must visit in Jodhpur.

I enjoy a lot the walk around the roa Jodha park. Nice and quiet place, surrounded by green. I did the green trail and took me only 35 minutes slowly walking. The yellow was only 20 minutes. You can see the wall and another nice view of the fort and blue city. Outside they have clean toilets.

A very Unique where one can find different stones and walk a trail… In a walk there’s a different bird watching, a lake and the back side of mehrangarh fort… it’s worth a watch especially for nature lovers… the ticket price is 100 rs per adult

Went for morning trekking and it's a awesome place for bird watching . There are different tracks as per difficulty level, I was suggested for yellow tack however that's too easy and short, tried others too and on red found a lotus pond. Perfect view of fort and lake. I recommend to check those stones displayed outside the ticket counter, they are fossiles and some are very unique.

It was a very nice experience of trekking of 2 KM by foot through rocky desert hills with the experience of a lot of different varieties of plant species, birds, squirrels, lake and fishes, reptiles, wild pigs and vast view of Mehrangarh Fort and its boundary walls, zip lines. It will take a minimum of half an hour and maximum up to your interest. Entrance fee of Rs. 100/- to be paid and a Guided tours are also available with additional fees.

A beautiful place in the middle of the city, and most loved by nature lovers. A must visit natural rocky desert in the Jodhpur city behind Mehrangarh Fort. Monsoon season is best for visit.

Feels like I need 4-5 hour to visit whole park . If you want to click nature then this is best park to visit . I am visiting first time here I think guard is must needed . There is no guard facility to visit .

The park doesn’t have much to offer apart from a natural setting that provides a rear view of the fort.

We went here in end of January and I think winters are the best time to visit the property. The location is nestled deep inside the market, so don’t It expect your car to take you all the way in — you’ll have to walk a bit. But once you reach, it’s totally worth it. The property is compact yet stunning, with every corner thoughtfully designed. It’s not a sprawling space, but the aesthetics are on point, creating a vibe that feels both intimate and beautifully curated. The rooms, though not very spacious, are tastefully done with traditional decor and modern comfort. Some of them open up to charming little balconies or windows that perfectly frame the fort view — waking up to that sight is something special. The interiors reflect the local heritage without feeling overdone, and the overall vibe is peaceful, making it a great stay for couples or solo travellers. The food was decent — not extraordinary, but it does the job. What truly stands out is the ambiance. If you’re in Jodhpur and looking for a charming spot to unwind, this place should definitely be on your list. A must-visit for the overall experience, especially if you appreciate good design and cozy space

Delightful all round. Wonderful rooms and restaurants too. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast and bar location. Hotel is ideally located to walk and enjoy the city. The only challenge the hotel could address is that due to the size of the roads access is challenging ( even impossible in a larger vehicle ) maybe a Hotel provided transfer rather than Tuk Tuk could be offered?

Had a wonderful dinner experience at Raas, with a beautiful view of Mehrangarh fort with lights. The menu was good and food was tasty. Overall experience was excellent. Since it was diwali, the streets were barricaded at janata sweets, so It's better to park the car at safe place and take an auto as lanes are narrow towards the hotel.

We went there to have the dinner but it turned out to disaster. First, the roads are do narrow but blocked by locals. There was second road which also really bad. Somehow reached, there was no warm welcome. They took us directly to restaurant which is outside and near to the pool. No hygiene. So many insects and mosquitoes out there. We asked them to do anything related to it, they just moved the lamp little far to us, which did not help. Price wise it was a mess. Unnecessarily expensive. Portion size is extremely bad. Not sure why the rating is so high, but this is not of worthy at all

A beautiful boutique hotel situated in the heart of jodhpur. Haveli converted 5 star property with a magnificent view of the mehrangad fort especially when the fort is lit up in the evening. Walking distance to Ganta Ghar but because it's situated in the old city , accessibility to the hotel is a bit of a problem ( narrow lanes).lovely outdoor all day dining restaurant, a beautiful roof top bar which has a fort view is the highlight. Certainly gives you a feeling that you are living in Maharaja times

Can feel a clear difference in how they treat indians vs non indians. and everything else fails in front of this for me. No matter how great the property is, this difference just made my experience 0 So if you’re an Indian like me, don’t go. A potentially great place ruined by this experience.

Beautiful architecture and a mechanical marvel to witness the grand clock still doing it's duty after so many decades. One major disappointment is maintenance and upkeep of the monument and surroundings. It would be fantastic if the premises is maintained well.

The cafe is made very asthetically. There is a main air conditioned area then there is a semi open place and then the rooftop. I was surprised to see they served beer on tap and also a full blpwn decently priced alcohol menu. I got both the tap beers. Honestly they werent worth 535 each after seeing how the manager had to fill it. It was so frothy something was up with the machine system. It was in April end and it was not the best time I understand. 10/10 for the place and vibe and stuff but not so much for the overpriced beer. I think I was way too excited to just have found hefe on tap on a random one day trip to Jodhpur. We didnt discover this cafe on our last visit to RAAS hotel for a meal. The area around is lovely and worth a visit just on a good time. The walk to the place is good. The step well view is exhilarating. We saw boys swimming in the heat jumping from different heights. Fun experience wish the beer was cheaper.

Situated inside the city. The view of the fort is amazing and keeps you mesmerised. Though it is there 7 to 9 as light goes off at 9 from the fort. So then you see it without the light. Come here by auto , as the lanes are quite narrow. Staff was good. Service was good too. Food was average. Rates are high for sure. We had drinks for 3 and food for 8 people. Paid 21000. Menu very limited. It’s all about the view and the drinks and somewhat food to accompany. Rating it 3 star overall.

Our experience at this place was pleasant, and we visited twice. On one occasion, we went to have pasta, which was delicious and tasty. On the other visit, we simply came to enjoy a cup of tea and the experience was equally enjoyable. The service was great in both instances. I visited Step Well Café after seeing it on Instagram, and it really does have stunning views of Toorji ka Jhalra. 🌊✨ The café is tucked inside the narrow lanes, just about a 5-minute walk from Clock Tower, and the entrance itself is very aesthetic with a lovely blue street wall. It’s a small café with cozy seating, but what makes it special is the calm and serene view of the stepwell. There’s also a rooftop sitting area where you can relax and enjoy the vibe, and you can even head directly down to the stepwell from here. I tried their pasta and coffee, and both were delicious. 🍝☕ The combination of good food and a beautiful view made it a memorable stop during my Jodhpur trip. Overall: a charming little spot with aesthetic vibes, tasty food, and a unique view of Toorji ka Jhalra — definitely worth a visit!

A must in Jodhpur! Stepwell Café blew us away. The rooftop view is absolutely breathtaking—one of those “pinch me” moments. The food was sensational from start to finish: fresh, vibrant flavors and beautifully presented plates. What really sets this place apart is the hospitality: warm, attentive, and genuinely kind without ever feeling pushy. We lingered longer than planned because everything was so good—the vibe, the view, the service. If you’re in Jodhpur, don’t miss it. Five stars, hands down.

We went to the step well as a family. There the ambience was good and the view from the rooftop was the only attraction. We were disappointed by the service staff who was a super rude dude. We were expecting warmth and smile he was behaving as if he was forced to work there. The cafe I guess just wants to entertain the foreigners and not Indians the prices are just exorbitant and the behaviour was very cold. We don’t take such attitude casually. My daughter asked for here favourite dishes if they could make them. The response was very harsh and cold. We had ordered in advance else we would have left for good. The taste was good to pathetic we ordered three dishes, pasta was good, fries just like any other nothing great and pizza was pathetic. I don’t know whether the owner of the cafe sees the reviews or not but this is to addressed. Keep good staff not Uncles and if you don’t want Indians tell us in advance. If you charge good serve well. No wonders the ratings are just okay, & one more thing they take SERVICE CHARGE which is not allowed as per law and they charge GST on it Which is even more disgusting. Would suggest people to try some other place.

I would give it a solid 5 on atmosphere.The view is great.you can choose to sit wgatever view you prefer.there have 3 levels of seating offering a different view. Food is pretty average and staff is polite. I suggest going there before sunset so that u can have great pictures and also stay there till post sunset and get a view of the fort in the night

Both Indian and Western menus with extensive offering and good service, view of the fort is spectacular. We had a few pure veg dishes as well. Awesome view of the Fort as the lights came on. The desserts are amazing and so are the drinks . The view is nice and dinner is highly recommend and they have very nice ambience. Staff is very courteous and overall feel is enough to soak you into the royal feel of Rajasthan. Must visit place in Jodhpur and i would personally stay here on my next visit to Jodhpur.

Heritage Property which is Nicely Maintained even during these tough days of Covid Era. We went for a dinner at their Speciality Restaurant that's Darikhana by Raas, and to our surprise we were shocked to see the standard of their Hospitality services. Amazing Outdoor Seating arrangements, Light Soulful Music , Candle Light Dinner, Fast Service,Sanitized Environment, Night View of Mehrangarh Fort & atlast the Polite Gestures of the Staff make this property a must visit for having a Candle Light Dinner with your Better Half or Your Lovely family as we did by going there Food Quality was also Good even the Portion size and the prices of the Dish. For Dinner it will not cost you more than Rs 3000 to Rs 3500 per person including alcoholic beverages. The only thing which I found missing was a Beautiful Aromatic Breeze Of Fragrance that will surely uplifts the environment after all 5 Senses matters a lots. Remember Zomato Pro / Easy Dinner/ Dineout discount is not applicable over here. Better book a table on call before going there. 4/5 Star to this Heritage Property.

We had a wonderful & memorable evening dinner at The Darikhana Restaurant of Jagmandir. Mr. Ranjit Singh and Mr. Shailender were really good hosts at the Restaurant. The food and drinks were just perfect! Overall we had a beautiful evening in the Marvelous Lake Palace of Udaipur.

Food is 'average' for the lack of a better word and the place is expensive. Then again - the atmosphere and service hit the bull's eye and you realize THAT is what you're paying for. Perfect for dates, anniversaries and similar memorable occasions

Menu not updated in Google. Food taste not good if compared to the price they are charging. Food quantity is very less. Ordered non veg platter which comes with 6 different type of kebabs, not even one tasted good. Lobster was also so so.

I recently visited this restaurant and was thoroughly disappointed. The food quality was terrible – tasteless and lacking any freshness. To make things worse, the portion sizes were shockingly small, leaving us hungry after a full meal. On top of that, the prices are unreasonably high, especially considering the poor taste and small servings. They definitely need to improve the food to match the steep prices they’re charging. And to add insult to injury, the taxes were much higher than expected. Not worth the money at all.

Do not miss this place if you are Jodhpur. Shri Mishrilal Hotel is located very close to Ghanta Ghar or clock tower. This 90 year old shop is famous for its Makhaniya lassi and rabdi. We tried Makhaniya lassi (Rs. 50) and Dal ka halwa (Rs. 60). Other items like Gulab jamun, pede, kachori, kalakand, sohan ka halwa, Besan chikki etc are served. The place is always crowded but the service is super fast. Pocket friendly place. During my three days stay, I visited this place twice. It's must visit place for lassi lovers.

Makhaniya Lassi in Jodhpur is definitely an experience. It’s super thick, creamy, and almost feels like eating shrikhand rather than drinking lassi. If you’ve had lassi in Punjab or Delhi, this might surprise you because it’s a little sour and much heavier. Honestly, it wasn’t really my taste since I prefer the smooth, drinkable style of lassi but I can see why locals love it. Maybe it’s the weather or the desert conditions here that make this version so popular. Still, worth trying once for the unique Jodhpur twist, even if it’s not the kind of lassi I’d usually go for.

The place is in conjugated place. So much traffic. However, the lassi taste was good. We tried their makkan and mango lassi. Both were amazing. Please go by walk if you want a peaceful experience

Visited Shri Mishrilal Hotel near the Clock Tower, one of the most popular spots in Jodhpur, especially known for its Makhaniya Lassi. The lassi was thick, creamy, and rich in flavor, definitely refreshing on a hot day. However, it’s very sweet, a bit too sugary for my taste, so those who prefer less sweetness might find it a little heavy. Still, it’s a must-try experience given its fame and the number of visitors and celebrities who’ve stopped by. Perfect if you’re looking for a classic Jodhpur treat and a quick sugar boost!

Service has really gone down. We politely asked for a disposable spoon but the waiter brought it in his hand, then unnecessarily changed the whole glass and spoon. Gurunanak Lassi Olympic is much better.

Tried the kesar pista, strawberry and mango lassi. Loved the strawberry and kesar pista flavours. It was so thick and filling. There were so many strands of saffron in the kesar pista lassi. All of them were sealed cups. You can carry them home and drink it the same day.

The Makhaniya Lassi is to die for... so good. this would always be a stop whenever I visit Jodhpur. Quick service.

If you are visiting the older parts of Jodhpur City, this restaurant is highly recommended. Fine dining, rooftop experience with a Maharangar Fort view. Great for trying out local, veg / non vegetarian cuisines. I also stayed at their BNB... Pal Haveli Inn that's also fantastic. Has the old word charm of Royal elegance.

Friendly and charming staff who showed us to a table with a not very good view of the fort with a promise to move when a further table became available. A promise that they kept. Had cold beer and cocktails - the old fashioned was good but a pretty short measure frankly. We had laal maans, veg rice and some breads. It was a lovely evening and chilled on top of the roof. Highly recommended. Not the cheapest but it does what it says on the tin.

This restaurant is highly recommended if you are visiting Jodhpur. Fine dining, rooftop experience with the view of Mehrangarh Fort on one side and Ghanta Ghar on the other side this place looks magical. Food is also very nice, there is good range of food and drinks.

Jodhpur is one town full of culture and traditions. We can call it Maharaja city of Rajasthan. Indique is one of the most memorable moment in the trip. We were suggested this place and it was more than we expected.  Best time to visit the restaurant is evening after 630 pm and best place to sit is rooftop. On one side is Ghanta Ghar, other side fountain and backdrop is Mehrangarh Fort. The food was awesome,  we started with Chicken Tikka, tender and just the best of spices  and ended with Lal Maas and Bajra roti, absolutely authentic.  Our server Mr. Harchand Ram took well care. Later we wished to speak to the chief chef. Mr. Vishal Gautam was extremely pleasant personality to speak to. He shared few secrets which made their food best in town. Hats off to Vishal who prepares the best food in Jodhpur.  Whenever you are visiting this town,  never miss it, its mesmerizing. The best of view and the best of food in town.

We got here on recommendation of other tourists we met, but unfortunately our experience was not at all good. It started off well with proper cocktails and great starters, but the mains were all wrong. My husband had little bone fragments in his mullet dish that were really sharp and could have seriously injured him. No apology was given. The saffron risotto was way too salty. The desserts were allright, but I’ve had better Gulab jamun from a street vendor. Worst of all was that the mullet dish was still on the bill, and we had to ask for it to be scratched off. In order to do so, we had to fill out a really extensive complaint form. What kind of customer service is that?! All that time also zero apologies… then at the end we had to pay separate bills for foods and drinks, which caused our card to block because the bank thought we were being scammed. Again no apology for the inconvenience that caused us. They truly have a lot to learn with regards to customer service, it really is below standards.

Recently went to indique restaurant with my family, the view of Mehrangarh fort from here is very beautiful, The best part is the food and service here, Thanks to all indique team. I will come again soon with My family.

First time here, loved it. The architecture was mesmerizing. I took at at least 10 mins to view each part of this Garden. The temple in the end was the best. Came right on time for arti, felt really blessed. The garden has so many places to click beautiful pictures. You'll have to beaware of the monkeys around, they are a lot of them. I'd recommend a visit to this place at least once if you're in Jodhpur.

must-visit destination for anyone interested in architectural heritage, the Mandore Gardens is a beautiful garden that delights people of all age groups on their Jodhpur tour. It is a kind of place that invites history buffs to sneak peek into the history of the region and learn more about its culture through numerous attractions located within the complex. Inside the garden there are small cafeterias that serve delicious food. Small toy train is the main attraction for both kids and adults. While entering the garden, we came to know that Mandodari and Ravan got married here as mandodari was from Jodhpur.

A deeply peaceful and divine spot. The natural setting amidst the hills near Lal Sagar is incredibly calming, offering a true spiritual retreat away from the city noise. Perfect for quiet contemplation. Jai Santoshi Maa! This is one of the most revered and unique Santoshi Mata temples. The "Pragat" (self-manifested) idol, believed to emerge from the natural rock, gives it immense power and historical significance. A genuine Shakti Peeth experience. Absolutely must visit on a Friday! The devotional atmosphere is electric and vibrant, though be prepared for crowds. Remember the traditional offering of only gur (jaggery) and chana (gram). A truly uplifting and memorable experience.

One of the famous mandir of mataji in jodhpur. I normally visit every time I visit jodhpur. Here all ur wishes are full filled this is what I believe. My almost all wished are full filled. I always visit this place to thanks mataji. If u are visiting on Friday or in navratri days u will get little rush.

There was a time when people used to stand in line for darshan and after the movie, people living far away also came to Jodhpur for it but now it felt stranded. Only about 25 people were there. Darshan went smoothly on a Friday Evening.

Beautiful temple. Loved the ambience and music inside. It is located on a mountain and hence would suggest to go via auto or personal car. There is more construction going on. It would be better if the washroom can be cleaned properly as there were a lot of mosquitoes. We also climbed the mountain outside and the view was beautiful. Refer the video posted.

This is very nice to see. It is located very close to the fort. You can spend approximately 1 hour here taking nice photographs of the temple and also you can see the fort from a different perspective. The entry fee is 100 Rupees per person and they also accept card payments. There is also toilets on the grounds. If you are visiting the fort visit this place also. It gets warm very quickly here so come as early as you can. It opens at 9AM.

We visited Jaswanth Thada around 10 AM, and it turned out to be the perfect time, the place was calm with very little crowd. The white marble monument looked absolutely stunning in the morning light, and the whole atmosphere felt serene. The entry fee was ₹30 per person for Indians, and as we walked around, a musician was playing the Ghoomar tune on a Ravanhatta. The music blended beautifully with the surroundings and added so much charm to the experience. We ended up spending almost an hour here, just taking in the architecture, the views, and the peaceful ambiance. A lovely spot to unwind and enjoy Jodhpur’s heritage.

Jaswant thada also known as the taj mahal of jodhpur, was built in remory of Maharaja Jaswant singh 2 and is within or nearby the complex housing the Mehrangarh fort. The white marble structure with lake on one side and the Mehrangarh fort walls on the other side, looks really majestic. The complex also houses beautiful garden and is worth a visit.

This shouldn't be called as mall. There is only 1 shop westside, 1 theatre and 1 restaurant. No food court or no other shops. Westside collection was good. But this isn't mall.

It was a good experience to visit Blue City Mall. I went along with my family there is limited space to park in front of Mall. In rush time we need to park our vehicle under ground.

This is the place which is located on the top side so you can easily witness the blue city Jodhpur and enjoy the city view. But, unfortunately there is a lack of trees and a dense garden. Therefore, many people avoid visiting this place to protect them from sunlight especially in summer. Apart from that the management are looking forward to planting more trees here.

It's a wee bit of a garden patch on top of a hillock from where we can see most of the city of Jodhpur. Better to visit in the evening for a great view of the sunset, be mindful of the closing hours though.

It is wonderful monument dedicated to Shree Veer Durgadas Ji, who fought all his life to reclaim Jodhpuri Raj from Mughals and succeeded also. It’s very spacious and open place with ample parking for car and 2 wheelers. Ticket per person is justo 20 ₹ and 10₹ for vehicle parking. Garden is well maintained. You can buy small snacks and cold drinks as well inside the monument. City view is amazing from here, with binoculars you can see the Mehrangad fort as well as Ummed bhavan too. All those revered our golden history must visit here and see the monument.

This is a very quiet and peaceful place where you can enjoy your own company. You will also love the view from this garden as it is situated on the top of masuriya hill from you can see whole jodhpur 😍

A good hang out place with family and friends. More of a picnic spot. The management can do better. They charge Rs. 10 per adult entry and kids under age 5 there is no entry fee.

We had a great time, the food was good, the staff is sweet and the rooms were clean and kept well. Mr. Champalal was especially very sweet in helping us with everything we needed to be comfortable. He truly set the tone for an incredible visit. The location was nice, and the salesman within the hotel is also very sweet and friendly; the goods he sells are not only beautifully made by his wife, but they are also incredibly affordable, the cheapest Ive seen.

This hotel was absolutely amazing! The front of house provided excellent service - led by Ronak and his team. They were quick with check-in, -out and resolving any issues and questions we had. The restaurant had pleasantly surprised us and was beyond our expectations! The food was splendid and the service by Mahaveer Singh, Ulpat and Arbaaz was honestly faultless! I couldn't have asked for anything better from this perfect team! Thanks for making our stay at this hotel pleasant and peaceful!

Such an amazing experience! Beautiful place and excellent service. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful, making us feel right at home. The Sovereign Shop in the hotel also deserves a mention it had an amazing collection, and the leather products were of outstanding quality. The stay was very beautiful and most comfortable stay we had. The caretaker Sampalal helped us move our luggage and made sure we were comfortable. Also Mahaveer singh helped us have amazing dinner and breakfast and he also suggested the places to visit and where can have the delicacy. Overall it was an amazing experience.

My stay was lovely. I would definitely recommend. All the staff were wonderful, polite and attentive. As a woman traveling alone I felt very safe here, as they don’t let non-guests onto the property. The pool was also very nice for cooling off in the heat of the day. Very peaceful in the courtyard. Even though it’s in the middle of the city.

While this is a decent property it is not suited for a business travellers. The place is perennially noisy and the so called Heritage room was nothing to write home about. The place needs serious renovation. The services are archaic and laid back too. Food is very overpriced but nice. The hospitality is excellent and the staff is very helpful. Good for a holiday with family.

Alibaba was very kind and hospitable. He cooked a fresh paneer tikka massala that was delicious. We had a great chat, he was friendly and even let me borrow one of the many books they have for a few days. Beautiful views of Jodhpur and the fort. Will definitely be back!

Stopper here randomly for breakfast as was curious about all the art. Very filling and home cooked breakfast with great views of the fort and Blue city.

Ali Baba makes wonderful and super fresh food, its delicious! He is also really kind and welcoming, make sure you go! Beautiful rooftop as well. Finally - the pancakes are awesome.

If you’re craving authentic South Indian food, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The taste can vary — sometimes the dishes are absolutely delicious, while at other times they can feel a bit average. However, when it’s good, it’s really good! One of the highlights is the traditional South Indian paan they serve at the end of the meal, which is a lovely touch and rounds off the experience nicely.

After a long time of routine North Indian and Rajasthani cuisine, a holiday meant going a bit off track... And as we all know, south Indian food in this belt is a bit dangerous(Hahaha). But seeing a lot of positive reviews, we tried संकल्प, in जोधपूर. Pros:- 1. Super tasty chutneys 2. Sollid fillings in dosas 3. Authentic tamil sambar And a few new wacky combos like Chaos dosa, Spooky dosa, etc.. Overall a nice trial, and will surely repeat if I get bored of daal-roti! Cons:- 1. Too much filling, too little dosa 2. Too much beetroot in spooky dosa makes it sweet-ish.. 3. Waiters are really fast. They don't wait to give you the bill, even though you've not yet finished..

Went for a quick bite their however as I reached I could see the place was almost packed so thought it might take time for serving but to my surprise they actually served the food in less than 10 mins. Taste was good and staff was very kind and polite.

Sankalp - Authentic south indain taste, Good quantity and quality food, nice ambiance, fast service and hospitality. USP - unique serving bowls and dishes. We Ordered combo of 3 dosas and Filter coffee. All dosas were served with 3 types of chutney and sambhar. Dosas were nice and crispy. Chutneys and sambhar has authentic taste. Filter coffee was good. Ambience was nicely done. Place is on road just near to jaljog circle. Mostly a fmaily place. Staff was polite and service was quick.

Sankalp continues to be one of the good places for South Indian meals. It's a purely vegetarian restaurant and one can enjoy the table service. I visited after many years I guess - covid pandemic ++ years. The normal order would have been masala dosa but we opted for Kaikari biryani, Bagale bhath and Kesari. The food is still good and it's wonderful to see that they have maintained their quality for so many years. They still have so many varieties of dosa and uttapam. The food was piping hot, the serving time was quite short and our server was very polite. The meal ended with the customary paan. We enjoyed our meal and the hospitality. Thank you Team Sankalp 👍👍

Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3/5) Visited Hari Vedas recently. The place has a clean and simple setup—comfortable enough for a casual meal, though nothing particularly stood out. Service was okay. Staff were polite, but things moved a bit slow. We had to follow up on water and sides, even though it wasn’t very crowded. I ordered the Malai kofta. It looked nice and the portion was good, but the taste was just average. Not bad, but not something I’d come back for either. Overall, it’s the kind of spot that’s fine if you’re already in the area and want a quick meal. Probably wouldn’t go out of my way to return, but not a bad option if you’re nearby.

Hari Vedas, a well-known dining spot in Jodhpur, left much to be desired during out recent visit. While the location is decent, parking is a hassle with limited spaces available on the road. Restroom found to be extremely dirty - a clear red flag for any establishment. The service was disappointingly poor, marked by a lack of attentiveness. The starters, which we had been looking forward to, fell far short of expectations in both quality and presentation so as the buffet dinner. Despite repeated requests, the staff couldn’t manage to serve them on time, and they only arrived a few minutes before the main course—hardly ideal pacing for a meal. The dining hall itself was in dire need of a thorough cleaning, and the situation wasn’t helped by the kitchen being located within the same space. The constant movement of supplies from the kitchen to the restaurant below created an additional nuisance, disrupting what should have been a pleasant dining experience. Even the manager on duty seemed helpless to address these issues, which speaks volumes about the management’s oversight. In nutshell: from cleanliness to service to the food itself, it failed to live up to its name.

I had buffet (dinner) for Rs.529/- Everything was good but paneer tikka jodhpuri and pesto was not up to the mark. Cauliflower Manchurian and pina colada drink was very good. Hakka noodles was normal. Main course bhi bdhiyaa thaa!! Overall, sb kuchh was okayy okayy. Would recommend this.

Food at this restaurant was good and flavorful, but the quantity felt too small for the price. The ambiance is nice, and the staff was polite and attentive. Overall, a decent place to try, though the portions could be more generous for the cost.

Today we visited hotel Hari Vedas 7people group of 7 people and we took buffet service here it took very long time even when we ask for repeat the next day day night and they were rude with us even dishes were not cleaned it take very long time and service was not good at all I think they need to improve this and I would request you all of you before visiting here make sure you have good reference they value those people who are in group of more than 10

Worst service.. ordered soup and was served wrongly. Tomato soup tasted like lemon and strawberry kiwi punch tasted of citrus punch. Worst, worst, WORST experience of dining till today. Neither the food was good nor the service. With Empty restaurant they took more then 90 minutes to serve the buffet. Every item which was supposed to be served was very much delayed and not up to the Mark. Instead they were focused towards serving the Zomato and Swiggy orders. The icecream was served after we were out of the restaurant, believe me the service is worst. Think twice before going there

Amazing heritage hotel. Wonderful food, service and ambience. If you want a real 'royal' experience, this is truly the best hotel... You receive a royal welcome on arrival, and the staff go out of their way to ensure that guests are comfortable. The fine dining Continental menu and the Indian menu are wonderful. The a-la-carte breakfast is sumptuous! Great gym, tennis courts, squash courts, and pool area too, with outdoor pool, indoor pool and spa.

Umaid Bhawan Palace is truly a dream place to stay. From the moment you enter, you feel like royalty. This is a review the Museum part of the palace and not hotel itself. They charge 250 Rupees per person to see the Museum. The website states 100 Rupees. Extremely deceptive advertising or laziness in updating the website. You pay entry to see the court yard and a artifacts. It is very misleading the website Museum letting you think you see more parts of the palace inside. You do not see any part of the inside palace if you pay for the Museum. It is a total waste of money, time and experience to even bother coming to see the palace Museum. I cannot understand the 5 star reviews for the Museum part as you don't get to see any other art of the inside rooms or main palace. It is actually better to stand outside on the main road or even walk to the palace to get nice views than pay 200 Rupees to see a court yard and a shop where they sell commercial products. The palace is beautiful on the outside but not worth the entry fee at all. To all foreign tourists don't bother wasting your time and money on visiting this palace unless you intend to actually stay in the hotel. Don't be fooled either by many posts locals post as many are posting the wrong pictures of other places. You literally get to see the outside of the palace and a court yard. The Museum itself is no better than just watching a documentary on YouTube. The entry fee here particularly for tourists is a total scam. Also they have card machines at entry but advise they don't accept card payments. They only accept cash from foreign tourists. Save your 200 Rupees and visit the Fort. Far better scenery, far better history and more importantly you actually get to see a palace there not unlike the false advertisement on their website. This place and City palace in Jaipur a total scam.

Umed Bhavan Palace is one of the must & most visited places in Jodhpur. Wow, what a beautifully designed and well managed palace. I loved the Umed Bhavan Palace musium. So different, I loved the different clocks... Just out standing. Some of the photos attached here. For visit the palace you need atleast 45 to 1 hour minimum time.

Not a guest at the hotel. I was visiting the Palace Museum. The entrance has pretty steep steps, no railing provided. It is a challenge for senior citizens and the differently abled. The washrooms are woefully inadequate for the rush of visitors and there is nobody to service the dirty toilets. All in all, a sad experience in one of the most beautiful places.

We visited Umaid Bhavan on a weekend around 12:30 PM, and as expected, it was a bit crowded. Just past the entrance, we found a stall selling delicious kulfi — a small but very welcome treat in the heat. The entry is restricted to only a limited section of the palace, mainly the central museum area. While the accessible part is relatively small compared to the entire property, it still offers beautiful glimpses of the royal interiors, vintage collections, and the palace’s history. Overall, it’s a nice stop if you’re exploring Jodhpur, but be prepared for crowds during weekends and remember that only a portion of the palace is open to the public

The restaurant was located in a stand alone area, but it was nice. We ordered a Thaan-E-Amber. It was a set of traditional thali come with a dessert. Overall food was good, but a strawberry milkshake was too sweet and not cold.

Its a very nice and elegant place to spend time with your loved ones. They offer variety of food options. The interiors are very antiques. They have rooftop restaurant as well as interiors restaurants giving view of umed bhaawan palace on one side and spectacular view of mehrangarh fort on other side. Also live local folk music is available including a well stocked bar. Staff if very well mannered and truely professional. Place is bit expensive but worth paying for. Overall a perfect place to have a quality time.

I recently visited On The Rocks, Jodhpur, and had an amazing experience! The ambiance is beautiful a perfect mix of charm and a modern vibe. The staff is courteous, service is quick, and the food is delicious. As a vegetarian, I loved their Pan-Asian dishes especially the Pad Thai noodles, wontons, and sushi. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly presented. A must-visit spot in Jodhpur for great food, lovely atmosphere, and top-notch service!

I came to this place because it’s definitely a must visit. I saw so many great recommendations. When I ordered, there was a bit of a language barrier with the server, and my order was misunderstood. I repeated it and even showed photos to another server of what I wanted. They brought my food along with an extra dish I didn’t order. It seemed like a genuine misunderstanding due to the language issue, but unfortunately, I had to speak to a third server to clarify. I then overheard the staff explaining the situation to a manager,and it felt uncomfortable and a bit unpleasant. I can tell the servers weren’t very happy and I am sorry about it. In the end, I decided to take my food to go and I left. I would suggest having a server with a stronger level of English for tourists.

One time visit i say . Near Ajith Bhavan circuit house. But non veg not good as hype ! Almost everything is exceptional, the vibe, food, property and welcoming behaviour of the staff. The staff though was helpful and polite and they replaced the glass and spoon when I let them know about it. Other than this issue, I like everything about this place. I would recommend visiting this place for both lunch and dinner as it has a completely different vibe during morning and night. They also have an amazing bar. It's almost impossible to explain the vibe of it. You'll get to know it when you visit.

We went to this place as per suggestion of a friend who is based in Jodhpur.Since it was a summer afternoon we opted for an indoor sitting. We tried Indian as well as Italian cuisine. We tried Panchmel subzi which is more like a mix veg along with butter roti and missi roti. You may find subzi little on spicier side, it makes sense to inform the staff in advance if you do not prefer spicy food. We also tried honey chilly potato and chicken penne pasta. Both the items were good but honey chilly potato also slightly spicy especially for children. Fresh lime soda was on sweeter side and sugar syrup was overpowering the overall blend. Staff here is helpful and cordial.

Title: Extremely Disappointed – Zero Hospitality at Ajit Bhawan, Jodhpur We were a group of three couples and had initially booked Ajit Bhawan for 2 nights. On the 3rd day, since my train was at 11 PM, I requested a late checkout. The hotel insisted I pay for the entire day (₹7,000) — which I agreed to without hesitation, expecting some basic flexibility or understanding in return. But what followed was beyond disappointing. I checked out at 10 PM and reached the station with my wife, toddler, and 4-month-old baby, only to find that our train was delayed by 4 hours. Exhausted and stranded at the station past midnight with small children, I called the hotel and explained the situation, hoping to return to the room just for a few hours. To my shock, the staff refused point-blank — saying I would need to pay for yet another full day, even though I had already paid for that night until the next morning. They showed zero empathy or basic human decency, completely ignoring the fact that we were stuck with an infant in the middle of the night. This kind of cold, profit-driven attitude is unacceptable from any hotel — especially in Rajasthan, a state known for its legendary hospitality and the slogan "Padharo Mhare Desh." Sadly, Ajit Bhawan lives up to none of that. The stress and discomfort caused to our family — especially our 4-month-old baby — was terrible. The hotel staff made it clear that money mattered more than people. Avoid this place if you expect even basic compassion or hospitality. There are many better places in Jodhpur — Ajit Bhawan is not worth your trust.

We were 3 couples staying at Ajit Bhawan for 2 nights. On the 3rd day, I extended my stay and paid ₹7,000 for a late checkout since my train was at 11 PM. I checked out at 10 PM, only to find out the train was delayed by 4 hours. Stuck at the station with an infant and a toddler, I called the hotel hoping they’d let us return to the room for a few hours — especially since we had already paid for that night till the next morning. Shockingly, they refused unless I paid for another full day! No empathy, no flexibility, no basic hospitality. Just cold, money-first attitude. I expected better from a hotel in Rajasthan, known for its warmth. Don’t stay here if you value kindness, understanding, or even basic decency. Very poor experience.

Don't know where to start, I m short with words for the rooms, every room is so unique.. the property felt so homely n so does the food there... It felt like we are at home n eating home cooked food, don't miss "papad ki sabzi " .. I m sorry that I don't remember any staff member's name but wow the staff each n every staff member was so so helpful, as I was there with my in-laws n my father in law have difficulty in walking , they made it sure that he reach the restaurant properly and after the meals they made sure to drop them off to the room properly ... Would definitely visit this place again .

No Hospitality. You can not gather and sit out with your family out side room. They do not allow that as some kings nephew resides nearby. What is the meaning of vacation when you can not enjoy with your family. Never going again and not recommending any one with family too.

We had dinner there yesterday ,we were sceptical ,whether it will worth or...it was raining,yet we were welcomed ,and perhaps we were the solo guests ...they entertained us .We enjoyed traditional Rajasthani Thali sitting on Traditional sofa and chowki .It was amazing food .No Mirchi ,no Desi ghee just home cooked food ,served with love and respect. तभी तो कहते हैं "पधारो म्हारे देस"

We ordered Rajasthani Traditional Thali and Dal Bati Thali. The food was tasty and not heavy at all. No extra ghee, no extra spicy, just as good to treat your taste buds very well. It's just like you're eating Ghar ka Khana with enhanced and authentic Rajasthani flavour. They even served us outside of their lunch hours with everything freshly cooked. I highly recommend to visit here for your lunch or dinner.

Worst outlet of subway …Aloo patty salad Ordered from zomato ..There were hardly any sauces in salad only dry vegetables were served .. Called at store the manger was very ruide and manner less .. Unprofessional behaviour & no customer ethics… Cheaters

Very bad customer care and receptionist. I called to place order for pickup, she just rudely said only in-store available and cut the phone. Not at all acceptable by a person at Subway. I really enjoyed the food here but utterly hated the way the receptionist spoke. She should be fired, the one who takes calls.

Extremely unprofessional service. They did not prepare the food as per my clear instructions, and the attitude of the staff was careless at best. What's worse is that this is the only Subway outlet in Jodhpur — but just because there are no other branches doesn’t mean they can ignore basic customer service. If you're expecting the standard quality and customization that Subway is known for, be ready for disappointment here. In the name of Subway, this place delivers nothing. Definitely not worth the money or the brand name it carries.

I always go in McD and burger king but today I thought let's go and try subway and i totally shocked after eating my meal that was amazing daamm amazing. From now it's my favourite place. And one more thing you can't found any burger here because it's only sandwich place .

This place is a small zoo and it can take 2-3 hours to complete. If you are having time in your Jodhpur trip. you can visit this place. The place is clean. There was only 1 queue for tickets, either that should be multiple queues or there should be online facility for this. Wasted around 30mins in queue for tickets. The ticket pricing was 33rs.

Small zoo. Neat & clean. All the toilets were locked inside and outside the zoo. Cafeteria staff overcharged us for ice cream and all other packed products, MRP is erased from all the products. Staff were ready to fight with customers for price issues. Complained the same to police officials at the entrance. Not sure if any action will be taken. Poor experience.

The place is good. Zoo has quite some animals too, so if you want to keep your little ones busy, this definitely is your spot. Just be mindful of either taking your own vehicle over there or book an Uber ride for to and fro coz no public transportation facility is not available and taxis can charge >3x at evening. Also parking closes at 5pm for new entry, so plan the visit for before 5.

In ancient times this region had palaces and gardens made by two rulers of Jodhpur - Bhim Singh and Takhat Singh. These were destroyed to make Kaylana Lake. Present - Very scenic and calm place specially if you are a sunset lover. Perfect for calm evening near lakeside with beautiful sunset views and boating. Few camel rides are also available with some evening snacks to munch on. Welcome maintained these days. Perfect place for a photo shoot specially your pre wedding shoot as the ambience is breathtaking specially during the sunset. Must visit once.

This place is a little far from the city area and when I visited that time the lake had not enough water so you might be disappointed and also, this place does not have that much greenery and even the whole jodhpur city need some trees and gardens so many tourists can easily attract to visit. But yes this place is situated at a small height and you can also enjoy the sunset view from the small mountain area.

Though lake is not managed well and there is no option to pay by card or UPI so carry cash with you. Food prices are average, quality and quantity both are good for food except the tea. They use toooo much ginger and quantity is too low of the tea so give instructions before you order.

Masuria hills located amidst the city of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Atop the Masuria hill is one of the most beautiful and famous gardens of Rajasthan, the Masuria Gardens. The spot is favorite among tourists and is popular among devotees because of the centuries-old temple dedicated to a local deity, Baba Ramdev.

From this vantage point, the anticipation of witnessing a vibrant cityscape was certainly present. The promise of "The Blue City" of Jodhpur, with its unique hue, filled our thoughts. Unfortunately, what met our eyes did not quite reflect the famous description we had in mind. It was a slight disappointment to find the scene differing from our expectations. Perhaps the weather or the angle of sight had something to do with it, altering the view.

Masuria Hills is one of the great attractions in Jodhpur. From here you can get a paramomic view of the Jodhpur city. Jodhpur is also called the blue city and from here you can see many houses painted in blue color. The path to Masuria Hills is a little steep but you can easily come here by your vehicle or cab.

Good Place, in this place a statue of vir durgadas rathore and a good garden ( park ) open at 8-10 am and close around 6:30 pm , and view are amazing 😍🤩 . I think mind-blowing. If your mood is sad you can visit for mood happy 😁😊. It's a famase for love park but lover's are not compulsory. So anyone can visit this.

There are various kinds of combos that are also available like Butter Naan with Paneer Butter Masala etc. Pure Vegetarian Restaurant. Jain food is also available. The most important thing is that the service is very good and fast. Take away facilities are also available. Available on Swiggy and Zomato also. I always love to eat here.

Fun N Food holds a special place in my heart, as I've been coming here since childhood. The food remains consistently delicious, with standout dishes like the veg jalfrezi and pineapple raita stealing the show. While the noodles and Manchurian combo was decent, it didn't quite reach the same level of excellence. One of the highlights of Fun N Food is its excellent service. The staff is always polite, helpful, and ensures a pleasant dining experience. Overall, it's a great spot for vegetarians to enjoy tasty food in a nostalgic setting.

I visited this place after my friends recommended it. After my visit to this place, I think it is overrated. The food items we ordered were decent other than spring rolls, worst spring rolls that I had. The place is mostly packed and the seating arrangement is really compact. For me the ambience is very important and I was disappointed. The drinks we ordered were below average in taste. The only thing that was good about this place was papri chaat.

Budget friendly place for all type fast food as well as main course. I personally recommend jini dosa, spring rolls and Chinese from the menu.

Unpleasant Stay at Bijolai - Not Worth the Money I stayed at Bijolai on December 7, 2024, and had a thoroughly disappointing experience. The room was dirty and had a foul odor, which immediately set the tone for the stay. To make matters worse, the bedsheet had holes in it, reflecting a lack of basic upkeep. The food was terrible, lacking both quality and taste, and the staff was unhelpful and unfriendly. Service was painfully slow, adding to the frustration. Overall, it felt like a complete waste of money. I would strongly advise against choosing this place if you’re looking for a pleasant and comfortable stay.

I recently attended a family wedding at Bijolai Palace, Jodhpur. The venue offers a serene and picturesque environment, perfect for intimate events. The charm and quiet ambience at the palace truly set it apart. However, the room services fell short in a few areas: inconsistent drinking water availability, lack of quality toiletries, no proper in-room tea/coffee/kettle setup, dim lighting across rooms, non-functional TVs, and slow internet. These issues detracted from the overall experience, and I hope they are addressed soon. Despite these challenges, the venue’s charm and ambiance make it a great venue for events.

The place is at a very quiet location and away from the hustle bustle of the city however the service, the food and the luxury tent in which we stayed disappoint ed us. To start with there were no remotes for tv and ac, the tents were quite dirty and the service was such that it seemed they didn't have much training about hospitality. The contact number they shared to order food was switched off, they gave other number however no one wass picking it.The food was too average apart from palak curry, I would have preferred food from outside if this place was not at this isolated location. The best part was the property with lake and the birds. If you are just looking for view and the property and not concerned about either food or service you can definitely try this place.I think the property is quite good but they just need to train their staff.

The stay is very beautiful and peaceful. It is slightly in the outskirts so prefer your own car. The views are beautiful and situated near a lake. Service is really good. Just one challenge while you travel there is no network and the wifi connection is also weak. Apart from this the stay was really amazing.

Went for dinner to the restaurant. The property is excellent. Everything gets ruined here by the staff. Zero hospitality. Food was pathetic. The facility will surely be a hit, if the staffs are trained well. Not forget, the food was expensive considering the portion size, taste and quality. The bill mentioned fresh brewed coffee, but it was made with Nescafe instant coffee powder mix.

We are on a family vacation with an infant. This place is so ideal. Rooms are extremely spacious. Just that the phone was not in service and we couldn’t make any calls. On the Friday night during lockdown i really wanted to go for Egg Biryani since it was one of the foods i have been missing most. I found The Rockyard with a zomato search as I was looking for peoples favourite biryani in Jodhpur and it didn't disappoint. The food was great, freshly cooked very tasty and well presented. Overall a good meal and great value I will certainly be ordering back. The portion of Pineapple Raita is less as per price, so need to improve in portion size.
