Shopping mall
Shopping
West Acres Mall is a large shopping complex with an impressive selection of over 100 shops, including department stores and local art venues. The mall boasts a pleasant atmosphere, always decorated nicely and kept clean. Visitors can enjoy walking around the cute little mall while grabbing something to eat at the spacious and comfortable food court. With great shopping options in relation to the size of the city, West Acres Mall is always busy but never overly packed or too busy for visitors to get help from helpful staff members.
Very nice mall, I was impressed with so much seating throughout the mall. The couches and chairs were very comfortable. We enjoyed our coffees while watching the shoppers. It felt strange that they closed at 8pm on a Saturday.

I don't know how or when this mall got so beautiful but it's absolutely stunning!! Pics don't do justice. This mall is amazing. So many stores and great places to rest and eat and just walk. I wish I lived here! Our home town mall is dead, so dead. This one is not! I've come to this mall since I was a child and I've never seen it look like this. Well done whoever is in charge! I can't wait to go back.

This is a beautiful mall. I have been to malls all over America. The decor is lovely and three store selection is nice. I especially enjoyed the food court selection. A nice way to spend some time. Get yourself a cupcake from Gigi cupcake, very delicious!

It's an awesome place where people may rest and eat after shopping. There is a big aquarium that provides tranquility. There is a restaurant inside. New section of the expanding mall opens up.with felling and direction for upper middle class or youngs

Visited on 7.7.2025. The Mall itself has an amazing food court and a variety of stores and shops. I like how the artwork of local artists is strategically scattered for display throughout the walking areas.

Very nice mall. Well kept and clean. We were just spending time visiting Fargo ND. I
Mike B — Google review
One of the last great malls around. It features tall ceilings, bright lighting, and is not only well-kept but very attractive. The food court is decent, though Crave stands out. The selection of stores is by far the best in the region. There’s plenty to do with kids, including an arcade, play area, giant fountain, art studio, fish tanks, and movie theaters just behind the mall. Baseball fans will enjoy the Roger Maris wing, which even includes an original Yankee Stadium seat.
Nhung V — Google review
I visited the mall on the Saturday before Valentine’s Day to get some exercise and escape the cold February weather. I really enjoyed it—there are a few areas with a pleasant ambiance that are perfect for people-watching or relaxing with family and friends. There are plenty of stores to choose from, including a surprisingly large Bath & Body Works. Parking seemed adequate, and we didn’t have to park far from an entrance in the cold. I didn’t visit the food court this time.

Breakfast restaurant
Kroll's Diner is a family-friendly restaurant with a diverse menu that caters to all ages, including kids and seniors. The diner offers a mix of German and North American dishes, with an emphasis on comfort food. Their all-day breakfast features options like three-cheese omelet and grandma's French toast. The retro-themed interior adds to the dining experience, complete with neon lights, a classic lunch counter, and vintage vinyl seats.
I had supper here on 7.6.2025 and 7.7,2025 while visiting Fargo, North Dakota. The Food is Spectacular and the Service is Amazing!! My servers "Tal" and Claire were both Fantastic. Highly Recommend to anybody traveling through Fargo! BRAVO and THANK YOU Tal and Claire!!

The visitor's center recommended this place so we headed over for a late lunch. We love a theme restaurant. There was no wait to get in. I think our timing was just right as it wasn't a lunch rush and too early for dinner. The food was good diner food and we enjoyed our meal. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We asked a bunch of questions and our waitress was extremely helpful.
Aleta D — Google review
The food was good. A tad greasy though. The tea? Not really hot and the milk was not great. The menu is large and they have specials on the table as well. Lots to choose from. Service was stellar. Atmosphere is great and so are the customers, we chatted with some lovely ladies while there.

Very fun place to eat a good meal. Venue is very comfortable and cute. Staff efficient and in sync with the customers. Plenty of parking and seating inside. This will become a staple on my trips to Fargo.
Bruna D — Google review
I had heard of this place through friends some months ago. When I came to Fargo for a date (i got stood up), i ended up staying the night and naturally come morning needed something to break my fast. To my delight, this establishment was meer minutes away from where I had bedded down. There was a short wait to be seated, but once I was I had a good experience. The staff were on point. My tea was always full. My food arrived quickly. There was even multiple options for hot sauce. Portion sizes were quite generous. I reckon my order could have fed a family of four, but I was hungry and ate it all. The pancakes were about 8" wide to give the photo some scale. I will certainly return should I find myself in Fargo again.
Brent G — Google review
Whenever I travel, I look for places that are unique and have a local flavor. Kroll’s has a great diner atmosphere, friendly staff, and good food that will satisfy your hunger and a great price. I ordered an omelet and added a side of bacon and a side of sausage. I did not expect the portion sizes to be so large. (Most places consider a “side” of bacon as two average sized pieces- Kroll’s “side” of bacon was more than twice that amount!) If you leave this place hungry, it’s your own fault!
Ken V — Google review
Such a cute diner! I love these kinds of places and I’m so happy I stopped by. If you get a shake, they’re massive!

So we’re here in Fargo for a wrestling tournament, wanted to try a local place. Seen Kroll’s diner and they offer cottage cheese as a meal side. Being diabetic this is AMAZING! our server was so sweet. She did forget to ever refill our drinks but the cook put her in such an awkward position (which I’ll explain later) so I totally get that she was frazzled. I ordered the club wrap and the cottage cheese as my side. Hubby ordered the cabbage rolls with mashed potatoes and they came with corn as well. He said his meal was good but the salad he got as his extra side had browning lettuce so he didn’t finish it as it just was not appetizing. We also ordered an appetizer of poppers, yes some breading but I wasn’t going to eat too many- these ended up being good. My meal (the wrap with cottage cheese) after it was ordered I was later informed they are out of cottage cheese. The only options were soups I cannot eat and all potatoe sides I cannot eat, then of course the salad with browning lettuce (I definitely was going to order that). I told her it was ok and let’s just cancel the wrap meal and I’ll just eat a few poppers. She asked if I was sure and I said yes it’s fine don’t worry. I was really ok with this option. I mean I have a good salad leftover from lunch at the hotel anyways I could go back and eat after we left anyways so I really didn’t mind. She went back and told the cook I was cancelling the wrap meal. You could hear him verbalize the distaste for my decision and in front of all the waitresses pushed her to find out a reason why from me. She very hesitantly came over to find out why. I explained to her I’m diabetic and cannot have all the potato sides they offer and also the salad was not appealing with the brown lettuce my husband had on his so I didn’t want that option. Again reiterating it’s totally ok. I mean seriously it happens and not need to make a big deal out of it. When she went back and explained to the cook why I cancelled the wrap he made a big deal out of it and made sure to gossip to the other waitresses about it. I was completely humiliated and it took everything I had to sit there and not cry while the husband ate his meal and the waitress kept looking over at me and laughing- not our waitress, again, she was super sweet and you could tell she was fairly new because she did have to keep running back to the kitchen to ask questions when customers were ordering. We also noticed the filthy shake machines which is why the husband did not order a shake- normally anyways where go that offers shakes he gets a large chocolate shake from. The whole time we were there 1 shake was ordered and it was disgusting watching them make someone’s food in the filthy machines. Pros: - super sweet waitresss- young lady with reddish hair. - Stuffed cabbage was excellent dish - meal portions are excellent for the price Cons: - rude and unprofessional cook - Browning lettuce in the salad - disgustingly filthy and unsanitary shake machines (like at least properly wipe them down after each use) the place was not even halfway full and y’all were not very busy, did lots of standing around talking when could have been wiping down the machines. I can’t believe a customer even ordered one- guess they couldn’t see the machines from their seats. - Waitresses staff (other than our waitress) laughing at customers and making them feel humiliated. We can hear you ladies and the cook talking about me. That’s just downright wrong on all levels.

Very friendly staff. Ladies shoe department the young lady was so very kind and patient with me. I bought new Hoka shoes and I tried on 3 dang pairs till I got the ones I like. She also informed me that they got a new machine that could spray my new shoes to be waterproof, which will last 2 months for only $7.99. It was quick and dried by the time I got to my truck. I love this store. The guy in the gun department was so helpful in helping me pick out a gun. A Glock it is!! We need one since we travel so much. Times are crazy!! Anyway, I applied for the Scheels visa and got a $75.00 coupon off of purchase! Because I was accepted. What a bonus! So come out, bring the family, and enjoy a little family time. They have a Farris Wheel inside! Candy store, too!! Have a great day! Be safe 🙏 This store is located at 1551 45th St South Fargo, North Dakota 58103

Visited on 7.7.2025. Initially stopped here to get University of North Dakota Polo Shirts and decided to browse for a bit. Sheels is more than a sporting goods store that has apparel and equipment. It is Taxidermy Heaven with all of the animal heads and an arsenal with several types of hunting rifles. There is also a candy shop, a snack bar, and a place to buy authentic jerky. The staff is also amazing and very helpful. Highly Recommend to shop or to admire Hunter's Paradise.

My first visit to Scheels, and I will be shopping there again. We spent over 2 hours and I am pretty sure, we still have more to find. Every single employee was smiling and very friendly. I am assuming it is a good company to work for by the attitude of all there. The carousel is awesome!

Purchased running shoes from Scheels online. Everything went great, had a few long runs and left toe started giving me issues. Went back to store and Garrett Border and team informed me the shoe looked too small. Was not expecting them to exchange as there was some miles on shoes. They exchanged for correct size at no extra charge. Great customer service!

Update after contacting the main manager Jason Mach. He was quick to call me back regarding the incident after I waited a few days to cool off. Mind you I do have healthy respect for anyone in the customer service industry so I don’t make any habit of flying off the handle or making a scene. I try to calmly ask questions and let the other person realize their error. Jason acknowledged my concerns and had already spoken with the junior management team and how I was treated. Sounds like they even went to him before I called and they reviewed the incident. As unintentional as the two front line managers were in their intentions, it did not excuse the situation they created. I can tell some coaching was done on how to handle each customer with respect and calmly. Jason again apologized after listening to a few points I wanted to share…and he did above and beyond to make up for my frustration. Lessons were learned. I will continue doing business at Scheels. Thank you to all the team for striving to improve. This was the incident originally…. the worst customer experience and it was management people who created the issues! Two managers I had to prove wrong and then neither apologized until I explained how they made me feel criminal! For an error they were making and all while my customer service desk lady was handling everything swimmingly! These managers were inconsiderate, made excuses for being both inaccurate and inconsiderate! I was shaking from the stress and then from being upset that they were teaming up and telling me I was wrong when clearly they made an assumption! I will be discussing this with upper management because they refused to get a higher manager to address my concern of how terrible they just treated me and how wrong they were! Very frustrating and embarrassing! Thank you to the yellow shirt who absolutely knew what she was doing and calmly did it. Those other two managers with the high energy and overpowering voices that weren’t listening to either myself or the yellow shirt should be given additional training! I feel attacked and like I was trying to steal something over a boot voucher from the largest employer in the Red River valley! I’m positive Scheels wants to do business with us! That was frightening to be the customer being treated so poorly and like I was wrong. They treated all of us like we were wrong and everything pointed to nothing being our faults. They assumed I work for a different company, who apparently doesn’t do business with them anymore. I had to tell her I don’t work for the company she assumed before reading the heading on my voucher! Then she tried to find any other discrepancies. Then she left as if her work was done and she did a good job! No apology. Wow! Last update/comment regarding the last few lines in my original review; this front end manager I’m positive learned a valuable lesson on how to be more inquisitive and calm about matters like these. They have excellent senior management leading and growing their skills.

The Red River Zoo, located in Fargo, ND, was established in 1999 on a 33-acre former ranch. It is home to over 300 animals from various climates and features beautiful landscapes with rolling hills and ponds. The zoo offers an oasis ambiance with over 500 shrubs and trees. Visitors can see exotic animals from around the world as well as critically endangered species native to the Red River Valley.
This place was so awesome! It was a hot day so some of the animals were hidden, but once we came back around we were able to see most of them. There is an area where you can pet and feed some animals ($0.25) and in another area you can feed koi fish! Definitely a place to visit and come back year round.

I went to the Red River Zoo on the 20th of June with my Daughter and my Wife. It was a lot of fun! My daughter loved the animals and exhibits. I think the goats and the chickens are her favorites! The carousel was fun for us and the building was a great place to escape the heat and cool off with a soda and some dippin dots. Some of the animals don't look the best but it was nice to get out and see them.

Red River Zoo offers vistors a modest collection of animals and exhibits. Landscaping was very appealing as well as the various exhibit houses. A moderately quick tour took 1.5 hrs. Bring quarters to purchase food for the designated animals. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Did not expect North Dakota to be hot but I was wrong. The zoo aside from being hot was really fun in total I saw, porcupines fighting, an ancient fish that looks like a dinosaur, some wolves, a fox, prairie dogs, a weird short horse, a bald eagle, a lynx, a camel, and finally a weird animal that I forgot the name of. I saw a lot of animals which is a win when you go to the zoo. 5 stars :)

Had a wonderful experience at Red River Zoo! Did the red panda encounter where I got to feed Wayland grapes! She was such a sweetheart and I'll never forget it! Marcy and Bernadette were knowledgeable and had so much information about them.

We had a fantastic visit to the Red River Zoo in Fargo with the family, and it completely exceeded our expectations. The zoo is beautifully maintained, not too large or overwhelming, and perfect for a relaxed half-day outing—especially with kids. One of the highlights was seeing the red pandas up close. Elena was absolutely thrilled watching them climb and nap in the trees. We also enjoyed the gray wolves, river otters, and the adorable Pallas cats. The exhibits are thoughtfully designed to mimic natural habitats, and there’s plenty of shaded walking paths, benches, and green space to rest. The children's barn and carousel were big hits with our little one. The zoo staff were kind and informative, often stopping to answer questions and point out animals hiding in their enclosures. We also appreciated the educational signs throughout, which made it easy to learn as we explored. The size of the zoo was perfect for young kids—large enough to feel like an adventure, but small enough to cover in a couple of hours without getting too tired. We wrapped up with a snack near the prairie dogs, who were surprisingly fun to watch. Overall, the Red River Zoo is a hidden gem in Fargo. It’s peaceful, family-friendly, and offers a wonderful variety of animals, many of which are cold-climate species not often seen in other zoos. A must-visit if you're in the area with kids or simply want a calm and charming place to spend the day.

Went to a Jeff Dunham concert. It was cold and I had floor seats (thinking it would be the best). I would never recommend that as I had a giant head in my view and couldn't even see the stage. If you go to a concert or an event here. Get a seat on the sideline!

Such friendly and hard working staff!! The quesabirria tacos were delicious. I was also given a completely free ice cream cake for my birthday after staff found out, amazing business to support!

The salsa was on fire a good thing for me who loves spicy foods. I had a street taco that was amazing. I also had a chorizo burrito. The burrito was kind of overpriced. The street taco was delicious and a better price. The service was fast and friendly and place looked very clean. The Spanish rice was perfect and the best I have had as far as Spanish rice I've ever eaten.

In the mall, such an AUTHENTIC taste. Authentic recipes. It fills me up and kids love it too! Real food for sure!

Far from authentic Mexican food. Got the traditional tacos. First true authentic Mexican street tacos do not have beans on them. Corn tortillas not flour tortillas. The steak is grounded up not sliced and looks like chicken or turkey. The lack of onions and cilantro. Also its one lime per taco not one lime to 3 tacos. Let's not forget it had to go back to get my horchata they never gave to me.

This place is underrated, I did not have high expectations considering it was in a mall food court. The birria tacos blew my mind!

This place was packed. We are from out of town. There was a hockey deal & Christmas traffic. This staff was working extremely fast, polite, nice, & the food was amazing. I am also allergic to a lot of foods my sales clerk who may have been the manager ? Took the time to explain, I could still get my favorite chicken pesto dish with a rice noodle. I was nervous on taste but it was amazing! This crew was amazing. Good job to all working on Dec 11, Saturday, around 2-3 :) Great staff great food hard working!!! They loved very fast and had great team work !

"It felt like a warm hug." Is the best way I could describe this place. I took my daughter here for mom/daughter date. The staff were so kind and patient with my energetic 4 year old. We chatted while waiting for our food, which was quickly brought to our table by the smiling staff. The food was incredible. Remember going to your grandparents house after a long day of playing and sitting down for a meal made with love? That's how this tasted - if that makes sense. This has quickly become a family favorite place, and we will definitely be going back. :)

Great service and food. Staff handles orders efficiently and delivers to tables. Optional lemon wedges by soft drinks is a nice touch. Parking is a bit limited, but adequate considering the amount of nearby stores. Noodles from a variety of tastes available so there's always something new- veggie noodles are a particularity fun option. Great lighting to see your company well while you eat, and music is low and not distracting .

Great selection of different noodle dishes with a range of ethnic varieties represented. Able to add protein of different kinds to whichever pasta you choose. I enjoyed the Pad Thai with chicken added to it. The chicken would have been better tossed in the sauce rather than set in top, but the dish was still very good.

The people working were beyond professional and courteous. I think the Mac N Chz that we have enjoyed over the past couple of years has taken a dip in taste. Maybe recipe change, not sure. Will try other items as the food here is usually very good.

Girl at the counter was great. The food was lacking flavor. The dining area was unbelievably dirty, every table had food or was sticky.

Noodles is always a good go to for delivery. I just wish there was an extra cheese option. I like the buttered noodles with shrimp and I get extra cheese and seasoning in store. But often times when I hit add cheese, they don’t. Maybe adding an “extra” button can fix that?

American restaurant
Porter Creek Hardwood Grill offers a casual and woodsy dining experience with a contemporary American menu influenced by California-Mediterranean flavors. The warm and inviting restaurant features a full-service bar, charming patio with fire pits, and an extensive wine list. Dishes are prepared using locally sourced ingredients and cooked in a woodfired oven. The menu includes steaks, seafood, salads, woodfired flatbread, and decadent desserts.
Thank you to the server ( I didn’t catch her name!) that made my graduation night- legit took the time out of the busy saturday night to draw me a candle on the desert she gave me (thank you again!!)! 10/10 place to eat, service was amazing, food was amazing, and overall atmosphere was great!

Took my mom to Porters creek for Easter Sunday and the food was incredible. My mom had a few issues with what she had ordered but the mistake was rectified with swiftness. The female manager came and inquired about the situation and brought out a new meal for my mother. The customer service was impeccable and the atmosphere was friendly to say the least. Thank you Porter creek for your amazing service.

I recently visited Porter Creek Hardwood Grill with some friends and we had a fantastic meal. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed every bite. The Crispy Goat Cheese Balls were a definite highlight, starting our dinner on an amazing note. For our main courses, the salmon was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented, while the chicken was so tender it practically melted in my mouth. The beef ribs were also a favorite—they were wonderfully marinated and so tender the meat just fell right off the bone. The only low points were the Bowl, which was unfortunately not up to the same standard as everything else, and the lemonade, which was so sweet it was almost undrinkable. Overall, it was a great dining experience with just a couple of minor exceptions.

Ordered the rotisserie chicken & goat cheese burger. Both were very delicious, although the fries were on the colder side. We arrived during a busy time but I would say our drinks and food came at a decent time!

We enjoyed a 3-generation family dinner here and our whole party had an enjoyable experience. There were coloring pages for the kids and an elevated dining experience for the adults. We were able to relax and enjoy an evening out together. There was no wait for a table on a Friday night which was nice.

This was a disappointing experience. I've heard so many good things about Porter Creek and we were excited to try it! We walked in and it smelled amazing, we were seated right away, and got menus right away. But the rest of the service was a little slow. And we saw the server just kind of messing around. The wings were AMAZING. The sauce was so good and spicy. But the food was abysmal. My partner got the fettucini and the portion was tiny. We also got upcharged for the chicken we were told it included, and there was next to no chicken in it. I got the short ribs (for $32.50 mind you), which were DRY. So awful. Not enjoyable. I didn't even finish it. I felt like we spent most of our time waiting around for service. Definitely won't be back. It was not worth the money.
Laura B — Google review
Lovely patio, although we sat just inside with the big doors open. Very nice cozy atmosphere. Relaxing, music not blasting! Service excellent. I had the salmon served with mashed potatoes; both excellent, but the mashed potatoes were over the top! I would never had thought I would love mashed potatoes like that… even asked the server why they’re so good… it was a chef’s secret! My husband had the hot roast beef on ciabatta bun, served with grilled vegetables. I had a taste of both and also excellent! Real nice carved roast beef with au juice. You can enter from the front or back ( back approaches the patio).

Culver’s is a popular fast-food chain known for its frozen custard and signature burgers made with Midwest beef and dairy. The restaurant offers gluten-free options, making it a convenient choice for those with dietary restrictions. Customers have praised the incredible food and friendly service at Culver’s, noting the quick service despite busy periods. The clean and organized atmosphere adds to the overall dining experience, making it a place worth returning to for delicious meals.
Danny the manager was an awesome guy. The dining room was clean, food was good, and the Wisconsin cheese sauce is amazing!
Justin H — Google review
The burgers were yummy for sure. Our kids gave mixed reviews on the chicken tenders and they weren't even half eaten. We wish we had gotten ice cream but after the bill of $60 for 3 kids meals, 1 adult meal, 2 burgers and an order of fried cheese, we didn't want to spend any more. Wow, pricey for fast food. And carpet in a fast food restaurant? Really? That's just gross. How many spills happen daily? And my shoes can attest that under our table was grossly sticky. And the plastic ad holder on our table was covered in dried ketchup and even dried ice cream. One bathroom sink was hardly usable with no pressure. And please invest in a second soap dispenser so you don't need to teach across our walk around the patron at the other sink (from the one good sink). But yes, the burgers and fries were yummy! I'd recommend drive-thru!
Tara M — Google review
Great food! The drive thru was forever long, so I went inside. The parking lot is a little small and was full. Ordered right away but my food took over 15 min to arrive. Love the value of the food Culver’s offers. I don’t live near one so I stop every time I can.

Ordered on the app, and was told I had to go inside to confirm. I walked past big signs trekking me to order on the app and avoid the line. Had to wait in line to confirm it was me that made the order. Brought the food back or to my car, and took off the tomato and pickles I requested to be not on the burger. Also ordered no ice. And got extra ice. The food? Delicious.

First time! Great experience. Top notch manager. Greeted us at the door and welcomed us openly. Truly genuine.
Mike S — Google review
Honestly super mid in most regards save for the service and the interior design, both of which were good. The food was "passable" and probably could've been done with more care. I asked for onions on my hamburger and they gave me two tiny onions. Fries were ok.
Leif S — Google review
If you are allergic to nuts, be extremely cautious when ordering here. My last few experiences really showed me that Culver’s is just not allergen friendly!! I have a pretty mild nut allergy and the last two times I’ve gone there I have been accidentally served nuts in some capacity both times. The first time was when they served me the wrong flavor, but I could tell that it had nuts in it immediately and I simply didn’t eat it. The second time was yesterday: I ordered literally the most basic custard flavor on the planet, a scoop of vanilla with cookie dough. As I was eating it I noticed a chunk of what I thought was just darker cookie dough, but was really what I now know to be peanut butter something. I’m guessing they spilled some peanut toppings into the cookie dough container, or maybe used the same spoon. Whatever happened, it gave me an allergic reaction. I completely understand that I could’ve prevented it as well, and if I had simply said that I was allergic to nuts the outcome likely would have changed. But even still, how could I, or anyone with a nut allergy, expect to get nuts in vanilla ice cream? That’s essentially the whole reason as to why we order simple flavors—we feel like it’s safe enough to not have to tread with caution. There are many others like me who have restrictive allergies yet hold back when communicating them to fast food (especially in drive thru) because it’s inconvenient and in my case, I didn’t think my allergies were strong enough to illicit any severe reaction. But look where that got me—I’m hunched over on the couch at 5 am with a sore stomach because a chunk of peanut made it into my vanilla custard with cookie dough topping. It’s all just very concerning to me. If you are going here with a nut allergy, do not order without specifying what allergies you have! It could save your life!!
Esther K — Google review
They got my order wrong, again not to mention they criticized my order where I can hear them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Rude employees that can't even get a simple order correct, not a singular incident this is EVERY TIME WE COME HERE. Never coming back and I suggest the same to everyone else.

Nestled on the vibrant campus of North Dakota State University, the FARGODOME is a must-visit destination in Fargo, ND. This impressive indoor stadium, which opened its doors in 1992, serves as the proud home of the Bison football team and can host up to 19,000 enthusiastic fans during game days. But there's more to this venue than just football; it transforms into a bustling hub for concerts, trade shows, and various athletic events throughout the year.
Fargo was awesome. What a great experience. This place was incredible. 30 mats across the floor the facility was very easy to get around and the community was very welcoming to us out of staters.

Big tailgating area with friendly fans that welcome you in. Loud venue for a game and not sure there’s a bad seat in the building.

NDSU vs YSU game. It was a great game. We travelled from Phoenix to see my alma mater YSU. The dome was comfortable. The best part was the fans. From the tailgating to the fans inside, everyone was so nice, inviting, and super friendly. We were even invited to party in a fans' tent. They fed us and gave us drinks. Best time ever

We saw a concert and the sound quality was good, even in the very back. The little walkway to get to the back bleachers was slightly terrifying and didn't feel totally safe, especially when leaving en masse.

I took my wife here to see Gigi Perez and Hozier. We came from out of state. This venue was crazy fast to get in. I waited less than 5 minutes to make it through security and we showed up like 20 minutes before the start of the show. The drinks were expensive. It was 9 bucks for a Coors Light tall boy. That's all I had. I didn't try any food. Overall I had a really good experience here and I will likely make the long drive to come back.
Tav M — Google review
The seating for concerts was very confusing for our party, but we had a great time. No echoing or weird effects during the concert like some venues have. Lots of bathrooms and parking was not as hard as I thought it would be. My first time and I would definitely attend more concerts here.

Hector International Airport

International airport
Airport
Hector International Airport in Fargo, North Dakota is a well-maintained and efficient airport with a simple layout. It offers limited shops and food options, which some travelers appreciate for its convenience. The airport provides quick access to the terminal from long-term parking without the need for a shuttle, making it easy to navigate. Despite being small, major airlines operate through this airport. Travelers also praise the friendly staff and clean facilities at Hector International Airport.
No one is in line, not even at peak time. Very nice staff. One place to eat once you're past security/tsa. There's a shop right when you walk when and they offered North Dakota's famous juneberry jam HOWEVER, it's too large to be a carry one (liquid over 3oz). But, good news, there's a little kiosk on the other side once you've gone through the tsa security and you can buy it over there along with other ND treasures.
Mallory S — Google review
Well organized, simple, no fuss airport. Has some cool visual art, decor, and some nice food selections. Update! My recent visit mid April 2025 . Almost didn't recognize it, it had been so long since my last visit. After landing and deplaning there appeared to be some construction and renovations possibly going on when stepping out of the airport's main entrance to the van and hotel shuttle pick up area. That's the only thing that caught my attention when it comes to any changes.
FA G — Google review
Poor signage. Rental car return was not marked, and many people getting stuck in parking garage. Garage attendant even gave incorrect directions. Screening in security was nonsensical - couldn't tell my protein bars were not bombs. Then the one food place wanted to charge for hot water. Maybe they should rethink these basic things for future folks travelling through this airport.
Michelle M — Google review
I enjoyed seeing the progress of the upgrades to the building. Everything was labeled clearly and my drop off of a friend went quite smoothly. There was a friendly staff member who answered all of his questions. Which put us both at ease. Delta was very accommodating for someone like my friend who has Autism and struggles to travel alone.
Amanda H — Google review
I am writing to express my strong concern about the video currently being shown at the TSA security checkpoint at Hector International Airport. The video features Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem delivering a political message that blames “Democrats in Congress” for the ongoing government shutdown and highlights the impact on TSA employees working without pay. Displaying this type of message within a federal security checkpoint is deeply inappropriate. The content is partisan in nature and creates the appearance that a government agency is being used to promote a political agenda. That use of government resources and facilities raises serious ethical and legal concerns, specifically regarding potential violations of the Hatch Act, which prohibits the use of official authority to influence political outcomes or promote partisan interests. Airports and TSA checkpoints should remain strictly neutral spaces where travelers are treated equally, without exposure to political messaging from any party. Passengers passing through security are a captive audience, and they should not be subjected to government-produced statements that assign political blame or push partisan narratives. It is also concerning that this video is not being played in all airports across North Dakota. Reports indicate that it appears in Fargo and Bismarck, but not in Minot, Williston, or Minneapolis. This inconsistency gives the impression of selective targeting, which only deepens the concern that this message is politically motivated. I am requesting that Hector International Airport immediately review the decision to display this video and take corrective action to remove it. If the content was required or distributed by a federal agency, I urge the airport’s leadership to formally request clarification from the Department of Homeland Security and to suspend the display until an independent review determines whether it complies with federal ethics laws. The citizens of North Dakota deserve to travel through their airports free from partisan influence or government-sponsored political messaging. Federal facilities must never be used as vehicles for political blame or propaganda. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to hearing what actions will be taken to ensure compliance with the ethical and legal standards expected of public institutions.
James P — Google review
I was very pleasantly surprised by this airport. Easy to get to. Parking isn’t over expensive and is very close to the terminal. The terminal has a decent variety of good quality food options. The terminal itself it also modern, clean, and well maintained. Staff and security personnel were all very friendly, and security was a breeze with almost no line. Great place to fly out of!
Michal B — Google review
The wonders of having a very simple and small airport is great. Some of the major airlines go through Fargo but you can park your car in long term parking and walk to the terminal without a shuttle in under 10 minutes. There is food, a gift shop, vending machines, and plenty of bathrooms. The best part is it’s not loud and there is usually never a wait for anything. And the staff are kind and friendly! Love that about North Dakota.
Karina K — Google review
Consistently the worst airport experience I’ve had. You will sit on the tarmac after boarding or landing for at least 30 mins and up to 2 hours. I’ve taken multiple flights in and out of hector over the past ten years and for the last 5 I have just come to expect this. If possible go elsewhere. Would give zero stars if I could.

The Fargo Theatre, a beautifully restored 1926 vaudeville theater, is a historic gem located on Broadway in Fargo. With its stunning Art Deco design and a capacity of around 870 patrons, the theatre hosts indie and foreign films, live concerts, plays, and comedy shows. It has been an entertainment hub since the 1920s and is also home to the annual Fargo Film Festival.
Fargo theater was so awesome. I went and saw Wayne's World and had a great time. The host and organ player were great. The host did some trivia before starting the show and the building is just amazing inside. Definitely check it out if you're in Fargo. The outside is cool but the inside is even better.

Pretty cool old theatre. Got to see one of my favorite comedians, Lewis Black, and it was a good time and he didn't disappoint. One tip for anyone going DO NOT book row AA unless you are about 5' tall. I'm 6'0 and was super uncomfortable. One in our party is 5'4" and her knees were bumping the wall.

Been to the Fargo Theater for a number of films, concerts, and events. It’s always a great experience. The staff are kind and move quickly to take care of everyone. Although the building is older it is impeccably maintained. Highly recommended checking out on a movie on a rainy day or an event big or small I’ve always been thrilled with the Fargo Theater.

First time there, I went to the Kelsey Cook comedy show. The interior was exactly as you'd expect a classic building to be, the architectural details were old school and very cool. The seats were very old school but comfortable. The building seemed to have central air, but got a little stuffy but not enough to cause problems. With the weird weather it was completely understandable. The lights were all indirect but worked well to light everything well enough to easily see. Good venue, I'd absolutely return.

GREAT brunch items. We were floored by the quality and presentation of the food. We ordered a potato knish, latke brisket, Iceland plate, the daily egg bake and a strong coffee. Everything was fresh and DELICIOUS. Beautiful restaurant, kid-friendly and good vibes. We will 100% be coming back to try more.

Had a recommendation to go here and glad I took it. I ordered carryout, the Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich, the Matzo Ball Soup and the Iceland. All were fantastic. I ate the chicken sandwich right away. Lots of yummy crunchy chicken on that soft challah bun. Such great flavors. The potato salad was great. Those pickles outstanding. Had the soup later. That was delicious too, and the next day I had the Iceland. Just a delicious combination of flavors. I got the seeded bagel. Lots of accoutrements with the lox. Yummy. Literally, a happy camper.

Amazing place for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Get a mideast bagel plate, the knish of a day, egg of the day, egg bake of the day, a chicken matzo ball soup with chicken skin gribene, a sandwich, some cookies, some rugelachs, they got you. A james beard semifinalist, deserving of the win if you ask me, and always absolutely amazing. Bernbaums is always a great place to grab a cup of coffee, breakfast or lunch, something sweet, something savory. Just a great place and my first stop everytime I get into town. Watch for special dinners they have regularly ad well. (Knish pictured with zhug, microgreens, and pickled onions) Enjoy something with their zhug, labneh, pickles, and marinated olives.

What a fun, healthy and bright spot to have a meal downtown Fargo. Lots of varied items on their menu. Many bagel plates to choose from and I chose the vegetarian bagel plate. I was not disappointed. The beet mash was so delicious the best thing on the plate. Lots of fresh greens and they do put on lots of dressing so next time I might get dressing on side or no dressing. I also had a vegetable knish and a cola in a glass bottle. The dining room is bright and eclectic. I sat at lunch counter that also has a coffee machine. It was very busy but not loud. Great spot for deli foods can't wait to return.

Loved it! We visited after a quick Google search for good restaurants in the area for a quick lunch as we passed through town. Looks like they have great daily specials. We ordered three things: Matzo ball soup, potato knish, and daily greens salad. Everything was great! Our favorite was the knish, served with a yummy sauce and pickled onions. So good! Very welcoming and accepting place. Great place for a light meal!

I think I've been here about four times across a couple of their locations and it's always been a great experience. I have no problem giving the food here a 5 and the overall place a 5. If any local restaurant actually deserves it, and people aren't just being default, it's BernBaums. The options are very unique and always outstanding tasting. I like how they have a little classic like diner style bar off to the side, and their overall antique style atmosphere. This is a photo I took from there myself in 2018, it's not the 🥓 🥚 and 🧀 I got this time.

Truly exceptional food! The atmosphere is basically a café or coffee shop but the food is incredible and makes up for sparse ambience. Be sure to try a knish, Myron‘s chicken matzo ball soup and the Nordic lamb meatloaf. All are exceptional. I must admit the matzo-breaded chicken schnitzel was a little dry. It was two slices that were breaded. If it had been one thicker slice, I think it would’ve been much juicier and more tender.

I came to this restaurant from a recommendation from another place I went to for coffee … I am from New York so I’ve had all sorts of food and made sure not to have an expectation because to be honest it’s a different environment… unfortunately this place wasn’t it for me I am not going to say very negative things be sude I only came once the service was fine a young guy with cool looking blue green hair helped me.. I said I was new never tried and asked what he recommended he said a soup, and sandwich I realized it was a Jewish restaurant which is fine I’ve had Jewish food before that was amazing so I was hopeful … I said I was not in the mood for soup he recommended the Nordic lamb sandwhich so I had it and was not good to me for my taste it looked fine and I am sure to people who like those flavors they liked it… but for me I didn’t like the mix of sweet cranberry like sauce in my sandwich so maybe I should have not followed the recommendation… I just didn’t like it that is just my taste … I had the gingerbread cake and it was super super sweet a bit to over powering again just my flavor and not for me I love ginger bread and ginger but didn’t like how stark the sweetness was… I had a marionberry fizz I did ask if it was a soda or seltzer I was told it’s a soda and I don’t like seltzer and it was indeed more of a seltzer all in all I just didn’t like it .. everyone was fine the place was okay a bit dates but okay all in all maybe I’ll try it again and see if my 2nd time is better . I also came at the end of their day they close at 3 I got there at 2:30 so maybe I was a little rushed in looking at the menu pictures show what k left I really didn’t eat any of it.

The donuts are great, and the service was really good. The prices for the donuts were a bit high. For a box of 12 it was $25 for their basic donuts. Each donut that was not their basic cost extra on top of the base price. The tast of the donuts are comparable to dunkin donuts which we don't have here in fargo, but the price could be a bit lower.

Must stop place downtown. Super friendly staff, great donuts with a big selection. You'll see people all over carrying boxes of these donuts. Tried a few different flavors and the cronut was my favorite. Everything we tried was delicious. I would also say the peanut butter Bismark was also worth trying. The only thing to watch out for is the bees know about this place and will be on your donut within a couple of minutes if you go to eat outside.

Fun atmosphere. Nice workers. There was a fly in the donut case—I had to convince myself it didn’t lay eggs in my donut. The toppings are really fun. I got the butterfinger, my kids the M&M and cotton candy. The donut itself was too dry and thick for my taste. Fun, though, if you’re a donut lover.

Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of downtown Fargo, Black Coffee and Waffle Bar is a must-visit for coffee aficionados and waffle lovers alike. Established in 2013 by Andrew Ply and Brad Cimaglio, this trendy café has transformed from its predecessor, Muddsuckers, into a vibrant spot that serves up premium espresso drinks alongside gourmet waffles. With three locations across the country, including Fargo's own since 2019, it’s become a beloved destination for breakfast enthusiasts.
Stopped in for a great breakfast based on what some friends told me. This place was very good. The food was quite good. The place is large open and clean. The service was a very good considering there was only one person to help us. We stopped for breakfast there were five of us total. We had a large variety of items. The flight waffle, naughty waffle, The fat Andrew, a s'mores waffle, the Dakota luau, a one bad pig. Plus we got coffees drinks and a flight of drinks. Everything was made exactly as we ordered. Everything was quite delicious. The coffees were good as well. This was quite impressive to me considering there was one young gal running the entire place. It did take us a little while to get our food but considering there was only one server I was not surprised. I overall recommend this location as long as you have time to wait. Everything was exceptionally good in spite of the fact there was only one server.

I went on a Sunday early afternoon and there weren’t many people. They were nice about checking on ingredients for my food allergies. I got the “naughty waffle “ and it was delicious! The almond butter added a great flavor with the fruits and waffle.
Miriam R — Google review
We were absolutely horrified when we decided to visit this place. 🤢🥴 While we waited over an hour for some waffles, we were cleaning the table, which was so dirty 🤯 and sticky, the chairs were the same, the dishes were broken, the mugs were ready for the trash. I constantly had to hold my child's hands so she didn't touch anything, and then she put them in her mouth. The waffles ended up being like cotton wool, soggy and tasteless. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. I don't recommend it to anyone at all. I wouldn't even give one star, it's a pity there's no option to minus a very, very bad star.
Ashley — Google review
Everything you would want in a coffee shop plus waffles. I kind of wish they had a chocolate waffle or different flavors of waffles but they do have a variety of toppings. I had a Fat Andrew which had bananas , peanut butter, whipped cream and cinnamon. It kind of tasted like a banana smoothie on a plate. Decadent and delicious. My go to coffee is an Americano and they make a great one. The service was super friendly. I also had a berry herbal hot tea. There is a bathroom available for customers too and electric plug inside to charge a phone, etc. The decor is basic and comfortable. Lots of local art featured too and this place just a hop skip close to Broadway Square Park. One of my favorite downtown places.

Purchased the “Naughty Waffle” - Gluten Free! It was delicious! Also got a drip coffee and stuck around few a few hours to work on some projects. There is no public rest room, but is in perfect spot of town!
Tim J — Google review
The coffee and waffle were delicious! I did the flight as I had not been here before. Would definitely recommend this for a first time!
Renee G — Google review
The servers were friendly and knowledgeable. Half of our party was gluten-free. They were out of a few toppings and asked if they could substitute for something else. The gluten-free waffles tasted great. It is a self serve restaurant. They do bring the food out, however you have to get your drinks and silverware. You also put your dirty dishes in bins. This wasn't a deal breaker. I would recommend going. I want to try a few more different waffle dishes.
Stacy S — Google review
If I could leave this restaurant 0 stars I would. We had a table of four and I timed it from getting the first waffle to the last and it was a 15 minute gap. The tables were disgusting, almost as disgusting as our coffees. It was a whopping $6 to drink burnt beans. Plates were all chipped. I paid $10 for an apple strudel and the apples weren’t cooked down. Almost as if they were covered in cinnamon and nuked in the microwave. I would’ve had a better experience making my own waffle at a hotel continental breakfast.

Japanese restaurant
Wasabi | Sushi & Asian Grill is a stylish Japanese eatery located in downtown Fargo, offering a unique dining experience with its fresh and handmade sushi, sashimi dishes, and upscale teppanyaki grills. The restaurant's menu features a wide range of delicious Japanese cuisine as well as dishes from across Asia, including tataki, tempura, teriyaki, hibachi, udon, ramen, and various noodle dishes.
I recently tried Wasabi Sushi & Asian Grill in Fargo, and I absolutely loved it! The place itself is super inviting with a nice, contemporary feel. I went for the Red Dragon and Rainbow rolls, and both were stellar. The Red Dragon roll was the perfect mix of spicy and savory, and it had this amazing freshness that you can only get from top-quality sushi. The Rainbow roll was a colorful delight, loaded with a variety of fresh fish that melted in my mouth, all wrapped around perfectly seasoned rice. The service was fantastic—friendly and attentive. They really made the meal enjoyable, ensuring everything was just right. If you find yourself in Fargo and have a sushi craving, Wasabi is the place to go. I can’t wait to go back and explore more of their menu!

The poke bowls are delicious. The flavor is on point. I thought it was too much rice, but it was actually the perfect amount. I have tried almost all of their poke bowls, and they are delicious. I’ve also gotten some of their sushi. The sushi is very expensive.

I have been here several times and always had great service. The food is delicious! Most recently I made a fairly large order for my daughter’s birthday party, it was great! The only issue was dressing on the salad when I asked for it on the side. It got soggy by the time I was ready to eat. I love the salad so I was very sad. Everything else was great!

We were here for the girls national wrestling championships. I wanted to love this place . The atmosphere was nice . The ramen was good . But the sushi rice was mushy/doughy and my blood mary had little to no alcohol.
Ruperto S — Google review
The food here isn't bad, but the wait for service is terrible. We were sat for twenty minutes before anyone even took our drink order, and then it was another ten minutes to get drinks even though there were only three tables. Apps (miso and pot stickers) took so long that we were done with the main meal before they came out. All together we spent nearly an hour and a half here and most of that was waiting for one thing or another. I don't see us returning anytime soon.
Lindsey M — Google review
It was pretty good but felt like it could have been a bit better.

OMG!! Blown away by the quality of their sushi! Also the edamame was great, with a spin compared to usual ones! They have combos, like a regular and a special roll for just 17 usd! Try this place if you are in downtown Fargo!

Located in downtown Fargo, Spicy Pie is a unique pizzeria offering New York-style pizza by the slice or whole pie. The restaurant boasts a funky atmosphere with upcycled furniture and a graffiti wall for creative expression. Known for making their pizza dough from scratch using flour from North Dakota Mill, they also offer homemade tortilla chips, taco shells, and tostadas. Additionally, Spicy Pie provides gluten-free crust options and allows customers to create their own slices.
Spicy pie is a favorite when I am on town from my home in mesa. Being able to get a couple slices made to order with my specifications and ability to choose the spicy or regular sauce is one of the reasons I choose to visit every time I am in town. The desert bites dipped in cream white frosting top off a perfect lunch or dinner. Quaint downtown brick and industrial type atmosphere makes for an even better dining experience. June 2024. Back in town. Stopped in for lunch with a friend. Always a place to enjoy when back in town from Mesa. We each had two slices and received the senior discount. As always, friendly staff and pizza done right. Plenty of toppings and the spicy sauce is just right without being overbearing.
Roberto H — Google review
We ordered a slice of bbq chicken, carnivore, and sausage. The carnivore and sausage honestly tasted like those little square tostinos pizzas from Walmart. Low quality meats and tasted like cardboard. The BBq chicken was good, but it seemed like all were pretty baked, topped, and then rebuked. Staff was ok but not the most inviting. We would not go back, but that is just us. $30 for 3 slices and two drinks.

I had a cheese pizza slice and shared nachos. My friend had a sausage pizza slice and garlic Parmesan chicken bites. The food is more like food you would eat while watching a football game than a meal. I had never had the garlic Parmesan chicken bites before and they were delicious. Also a very generous portion size of nachos. There are lots of seats and place Uber casual. The serving of nachos generous. The service was just okay not great. It's kind of a mixture of order at counter and serve yourself.

Caught them right before they closed for the day. It was out first time and my daughter and I just loved it! HUGE slices of pizza and great grinders!

Food was great. Pretty good sale if you did the 2 single top slices and a drink for 11 bucks. I opted to try the Buffalo chicken though. Crust is great, sauce is great, toppings are great. Definitely hit the spot and would be happy to come back next time in town. I really enjoy the big slices over a personal pan.
Josh L — Google review
Amazing pizza options. You can get slice pizza or a whole pizza. They even serve tacos at a pizza joint which is hilarious. I tried the Bacon and Mac and cheese Slices and I would say it is the top 3 pizza I've ever tried. The crust on the pizza have that perfect crunch and doesn't have the soggyness to it and it taste authentic and not processed like most fast food pizza. I feel like the Bacon and Mac and Cheese kinda overpowered the whole pizza which I didn't mind which I choose but if you want something light and simple than I'd probably won't get the Bacon and Mac and Cheese slice. It definitely got the sports bar vibes if your looking for a night out or watching a games and I would definitely recommend checking out this spot in Fargo.

They didn’t have the inferno grinder on the menu but they still let me order it and it is SO GOOD. It’s hard to find spicy spicy food around here but I ate one half of my grinder and was fighting to cool down a little bit and I’m a spice connoisseur. Very impressed and I hope they put it back on the menu so I can order it again :)

Slurp Ramen is a delightful culinary gem that caters to a variety of tastes, from classic mac and cheese to rich tonkotsu ramen. Vegetarians will find joy in the flavorful vegetarian ramen options, while those seeking something unique can try the sukothai ramen with tofu. Located conveniently next to Insomnia Cookies, it’s an ideal spot for a delicious meal followed by dessert.
For the first time ever being a place like this it was exactly what I wanted exactly what I expected and exactly what it needed to be, to explain it it was a very cozy small place that did exactly what you wanted it to do, served great food at a reasonable price and the service was amazing. Menu was easy to understand and there was pictures for those who would never had it before, the amount of time it took to get everything was very very reasonable, I would most definitely be going back there again.

Hands down the best place in Fargo/Moorhead for everything South East Asian food. You can tell they make their food with fresh ingredients, because each dish is bursting with flavour. Perfect for a take out meal or a lazy date night with someone special. I highly recommend the drunken noodles with beef, pho, or the Sukothai.

Highly recommended. The place is really cozy. The soups have incredible authentic taste. We had the beef pho and the pork belly after reading everyone else reviews. Loved it. Definitely one of favorite place on Broadway so far. Service is fast and efficient. Get in, pay, eat and go! Seating might be limited. We sat at the counter and I really enjoyed watching the cooks getting food ready. Takeout is an option. Parking could be a challenge especially during busy times but walking on Broadway is always fun.

Always great. I'm pretty sure I stop every time I am in the area. Drunken Noodles were amazing. I got Shoyu Ramen to go.

Yakisoba was delicious, especially the carrots. Presentation was… messy. Basil beef linguine was spicy 🌶️. Good. Presentation, also messy. It bothers me when restaurants ask for the tip before they prepare the meal or give any service. Many restaurants do that now, I like to give tips based on my experience, so I tip the end. They printed off a receipt that had in bold print “no tip” and handed it to the cook to prepare our food. Didn’t feel good to me. We ordered 2 noodle dishes and cheesecake. $33. Plus tip.

Amazing!!! Must try. Hands down the best ramen ever! I got the Kao Sol, it’s like a curry ramen. Full of flavor, the noodles were perfectly cooked. Right as we walked in we were greeted and informed on how to order from the menu. I don’t see anything simple for my kids so I asked and Rob, he was super helpful! He was kind and patient. Perfect person to navigate us through ordering. All delicious. The last ramen we had was from SD where the owner is famous, this place out down that locations without a question!!!! bursting flavors not loaded with fat. I could go on and on. I’ll be back!! I wanna try it all!! Even the fried chicken in my ramen was perfect! Not overly breaded! They killed is every aspect food, staff, atmosphere. Can’t wait to be back. If we lived here we’d be regulars. Your lucky Fargo!!

This place rocked. I got the curry Ramen. Dank. I wish I could have eaten 3 different bowls of Ramen that day. If I went again curry ramen would not be my first choice just because they had other more typical Japanese Ramens but this was recommended by a regular while we were in line. I love Japanese curry though.

My parents used to get takeout from here when I was a kid. In the past few years I've started going back here and the food was as good as I remember! Definitely recommend. I haven't tried the buffet but would like to in the future
Seamus W — Google review
My recent experience at this was unfortunately disappointing. While my first visit was positive, my recent takeout order of the number 10 (that included the sweet and sour chicken) was missing the essential sweet and sour sauce. This omission significantly impacted the quality of the dish, as the chicken and wontons were dry and unappetizing without it. Furthermore, I was nearly charged for a full order of wontons that I had not requested. I had specifically asked for a substitution of a pork egg roll for a cream cheese wonton. It was only due to careful attention to the cashier's entries that I noticed the additional $10 error she almost charged me. I am disappointed that my dinner was ruined due to these issues. I believe that accurate order fulfillment and attention to detail are crucial for a positive customer experience. Food is okay, but pay close attention to what is in the bag, if you order take out and also what they're charging you as they're NOT cheap! 👎🏾

I worked all day and just wanted to come home and eat anyways that didn't happen.. i ordered 12 wantons they came with no cream cheese in them, I ordered 3 two pack eggs rolls and only got 3 total they charged me for 3 packs, they strongly batter everything and nothing is even in the inside can't even taste the chicken, egg rolls, pot thingys or wantons.. The pepper steak combo might as well have been just green peppers and onoins. Not at all what I expected for the money I spent.

This is not really a buffet. They have few hours they have buffet. The food wasn’t really good. I order fried rice it was so salty. Like they poured salt on it. Only the egg role and meat in the fried rice was good ! I added the menu. I won’t be going back there! Everything was more than $15. Would have had chipotle for less! Good luck

Not the best place to go for Chinese buffet. The food was generally pretty good but the sauces for 4 different entrees on the buffet was basically a clear reddish sauce and tasted all the same. Even the General Tsao’s chicken had that sauce and I’d never had that dish prepared that way. With so many options for Chinese in Fargo, I’d say go elsewhere if you can.

Absolutely beautiful park. Red river winds thru. Flower gardens are stunning. Roger Maris history if baseball fan. Showers and bath house clean. A little noisy from playground and big bingo event. 5 big rigs couldn't figure out how to park and left. Seemed inexperienced.

We camped here for 2 nights in June 2025 and it was safe and convenient. The park staff was helpful and kind. Hot showers in a modern bathhouse. There was trash and broken glass in our campsite when we arrived and the freeway noise is loud. We will stay again when we visit Fargo. The bike rentals were a hoot and reasonably priced.

We stayed in A-5. Sites are a little tight but accommodated our 35’ Class A fine. Utilities worked great. Minimal road noise due to number of mature trees. Park is beautiful with walking paths, bike rental, playground, a river and lots of green space. Very convenient and easy on/off I-94. Good signage. Would definitely stay again.

This is the best park in the area for sure! Lots of grassy areas, walking trails nearby, other facilities for adults, a river with a cool bridge. Playground area was awesome. Whoever designed this park knew what kids need, how they think, and parental safety concerns. The entire structure was lower to the ground than usual with tons of entry/exit points that encourage climbing, crawling, balancing, scaling ect...once on the structure there are bridges, tunnels, ladders, and tons of slides! I think there were 8 slides in total!! A few smaller slides for toddlers and several larger ones. Everything was safe, sturdy, and clean.

Omg where do I start, first and foremost sense moving to North Dakota I have not found one GOOD pizza place with AUTHENTIC Detroit style pizza until now, my boyfriend prior to this trip to Fargo had told me about this place before had how amazing it is(my expectations were low sense his taste in food can be questionable) BUT OMG I was truly amazed by how yummy they are, first we started with the pretzels (a must try if you are a soft pretzel enjoyer) and we ordered the Barry Detroit style pizza, I guess there was some issue makeimg our pizza and the waitress was so incredibly kind (taller girl with curly blond hair) and let us know that something happened and that they were remaking our pizza and that they were giveing us a discount sense we had to wait, even though we truly did not mind at all we really appreciated this gesture, and we were given some extra pretzels, honestly so kind the service trukey above and beyond, when the pizza was finally ready, it looked stunning, and so quickly reminded me of one of my favorite places back in my home state, and the taste of it was PHENOMENAL!!! While writing this review, I truly wish we would’ve been able to take home our leftovers But we knew that they wouldn’t be good during a 5 Hour drive. I think we will be dreaming of this pizza for the next week it was simply that delicious. Whole heartedly please try the Barry pizza if you have not already.

We were here twice during our recent trip to F-M. First time was on the roof for our grandson's graduation. We had a great time and enjoyed the food. That was a busy night and they were ready for it. Our second in-restaurant visit was downstairs at a big table with crayons. We had an exceptionally wonderful time drawing and playing hangman. When we're home we don't eat out much and I'm pretty flabbergasted at the high cost of eating out in F-M in general. On the other hand, it's a good thing that the people of F-M are so supportive of their eateries and small businesses in general. Rhombus guys have several specialty pizzas that are quite delicious! Our second time the service was quite slow. Evidently they were short staffed and the waitress was apologetic. I'm giving an overall 5 stars because we've found it to be a very good vibe place and the delay just let us really get into our game and have a lot of laughs!

Vinyl Taco is a vibrant, music-themed Mexican joint that serves a variety of Mexican street fare and cocktails. The space features turntables behind the bar playing vinyl records, adding to the authentic atmosphere. The menu offers a mix of American and Mexican street food, including enchiladas, chimichangas, tacos, and sides like chips and guacamole.
No shade to Fargo, ND, but what comes to mind is a dreary, cold, dark, kinda boring city thanks to the show that put y’all on the map. But what I found was a vibrant nightlife scene with lots of clubs, bars and restaurants just like Vinyl Taco that had so much flare, spirit and style! I loved the fact that the menus were freaking records! I loved the throwback decor of when diners took over restaurants corners everywhere and the fact that their food was ON POINT! Inexpensive too! 😁 Atmosphere/Appearance: Vibrant, energetic, welcoming and most of all fun! Service: I couldn't remember who took care of me, but I had no complaints. Food: The margaritas were pretty freaking cool because they come in a variety of sizes, but you get one size cup. So you just get big jars of extra that you can continuously pour up all on your own! The flavors were abundant and very tasty. From the chips and salsa to the high-quality gourmet tacos, everything was absolutely on point and I loved it here. Value: It IIISSS Fargo, ND, but it's high quality Mexican fare so... this place definitely won't break the bank at all. In conclusion, if I haven't convinced you to check this place out yet, I don't know what I'm doing writing Yelp reviews. Lol. This was my favorite restaurant I visited while in town.

What a cool place! I loved all the specialty taco s! I need to go back to try more. The atmosphere was quirky and entertaining to look around!! I loved the menu was a vinyl recons. I loved the spicy avocado salsa. IT WAS SO GOOD

Vinyl Taco isn't just a place to grab a bite; it's an absolute must-visit Fargo destination! If you're looking for great food, excellent drinks, and a genuinely fun atmosphere, this is your spot. First off, the tacos are delicious—fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you crave. But what elevates the experience is their impressive drink menu. They offer a superb selection of genuine beer, wines, and whiskey, which is a pleasant surprise for a taco spot. Best of all? Everything is priced very reasonably, making it a perfect spot for a casual night out. However, the real star of the show is the staff. They are incredibly lovely and attentive, and they truly entertain you from the moment you walk in. Their enthusiasm and helpfulness make the service unforgettable and genuinely fun. The location is also super convenient—it's right near the Radisson Blu, so it's easy to find whether you're a local or just visiting. If you are in Fargo and looking for an amazing combo of tasty tacos, great drinks, and a lively, welcoming atmosphere, do yourself a favor and check out Vinyl Taco. Nicely recommend!

I loved Vinyl Taco. Sometimes, the little things are what sets a restaurant apart. From the moment I sat down and handed a menu that looked like a vinyl record, I knew I would at least enjoy the atmosphere at Vinyl Taco. The decorations in the restaurant establish a cool and relaxed vibe. The food was reasonably priced across the board. I chose to go with a burrito which was extremely filling and delicious.

Delicious, wide variety of tacos, incredible flavor, high-quality ingredients, immaculate presentation. Service was high-quality but a trifle slow. Prices seem a trifle high until you taste how good the tacos are - worth every penny.

First time coming in and enjoyed all three tacos I ordered. Crispy mango was amazing with chunks of mango. Buffalo chicken was just the right amount of spice. Cilantro lime chicken was a refreshing taste. My wait staff, Jaycee, was friendly and incredibly helpful with offering suggestions.

Excellent food at a good price. Service was great, food was fresh and hot. Nice place to eat. Has a bar type atmosphere. Cold bottle of water and glasses brought to each table. Definitely recommend.

I recently went here with some friends. We were to find our own seats, so we found a table outside on their small sidewalk patio. The seats were stool tops without the legs; attached to the table from the side of it. Odd and uncomfortable. Vibes were neat, server was nice. Menu was on a vinyl record. Nice concept, except per the server's instructions, we still had to go to their website to look at drink options. We all ordered margaritas, which were refreshing and good. We did wait quite a while for our food to arrive, but nibbled on delicious chips and mediocre guacamole while we waited. Two of us ordered two tacos each, and unfortunately they were all cold. Not lukewarm, cold. And we could tell by the very wilted slaw that the tacos were made long ago. I would have sent it back to be redone, but the server didn't come back to check on us for quite a while, we were incredibly hungry, and I didn't want to keep my friends waiting even longer for food to be remade. So I tried it with the wilted slaw, didn't like that texture, removed it and some of the tortilla shell, ate the rest. My friend and I agree that had they been served hot, they would have been 7.5-8/10. But cold, 1-2/10. I'd consider going back, but I'd sit inside to avoid uncomfortable outdoor seats. I'd also order something else, or ask for the tacos to be served right after being made. Customers shouldn't have to ask for that to happen though.

Ice cream shop
Dairy Queen (Treat) is a classic fast-food chain known for its soft-serve ice cream and signature shakes. The Original Moorhead Dairy Queen in Minnesota has been a local favorite since the late 1940s, offering hand-dipped Dilly Bars and featuring a 16-foot-tall Dilly Bar statue. It's a popular stop for visitors due to its historical significance and unique offerings not found in other Dairy Queens.
Stopped on the way thru to see the oldest original Dairy queen still running... which also has the world's largest dilly bar statue by the way. Place itself is pretty standard for what you would expect with the addition of goos seating outside with these massive umbrellas. About 3 picnic tables under each.

The wait can be long outside. The food was delicious. I noticed some customers were getting additional toppings on their blizzards but mine didn’t. My son got some on his. Outside seating only. There were three windows to order from. I also ordered the loose meat sandwich and it needed more meat for the price. It was good but mostly bun, which I wouldn’t pay for again. Employees were friendly.

Staff are extremely disrespectful. The girls here will charge you more if they don't like you. We used to come here all the time because of the ice cream. It used to be a fun place to take the kids to enjoy a great treat but the disrespect shown from these young woman day after day shows a very large lack of professionalism considering it's one of the most famous dq's in the country. One girl tried to charge me 8$ for a side of crunch on my cone! 8$ are you kidding me. All 3 of my young children agree these employees are extremely disrespectful. The music they play from 8-10 is garbage and not family friendly. The owner is an awesome man and very polite but 85% of these young women are snobby and disrespectful. They never smile at you. They never say thank you or have a good day. They don't greet you. It's like they absolutely hate their job. My 9yr old and 8 year old both agree the ice cream is delicious...but the service is better at McDonald's. That says something.

Fun stop in Moorehead, MN, to pick up an ice cream treat for the afternoon. Note that traffic in the area is tough due to construction (August 2025)
Dawn J — Google review
This place is a gem - we visit many many times in the summer and it is always a great experience. First off, the ice cream is amazing - the best DQ treats you will find anywhere. Lots of options, they mix in lots of candies, etc. into the blizzards and are happy to make additions or subtractions when requested. The food is pretty good too, I always enjoy a classic Nathan’s hotdog, but the reason to visit is truly for the treats and nostalgic experience. The staff is also helpful and always willing to accommodate needs such as extra napkins, water, cups, etc. Lines can get long, but chatting with people in line and watching the trains go by is all a part of the experience. Definitely a must visit in Moorhead.
Jaclynn M — Google review
The atmosphere is nostalgic and the vibe is old school and good. The order taking should be more efficiently run by having order takers at all available windows. This location is franchised differently, meaning that their recipes and builds are slightly different than the regular locations. This is where the problem lies, as they skimp on the hot fudge in the buster bars and on their DQ ice cream cakes. These items in particular are much better at their sister locations.

We catered ice cream for our wedding and had a great experience! Troy did a great job with having everything ready and asking all the necessary questions. Great product and customer service, plus, it was a big hit at our wedding!

If you would like to feel you stepped back in time stop by this retro Dairy Queen in Downtown Moorhead, Minnesota. With the ability to sell its own creations along with some of the current staples all Dairy Queens have this DQ makes for a stop worth driving more than a few miles for. Home of the original Dilly Bar and to my knowledge the only Dairy Queen that serves it in its original form and wrapper you won't be disappointed. Well, that is, unless you stop in November - February when it is closed because it is outdoors only.

Junkyard Brewing Company offers a variety of light and flavorful beers, perfect for summertime sipping. The Berry Season beer is a delightful blueberry marshmallow blend reminiscent of a Belgian lambic, while the Cocomondo is a tropical coconut treat. The brewery doesn't serve food, but guests are welcome to order from the nearby restaurant. The spacious outdoor patio is dog-friendly and features an artsy ambiance.
Nice selection of very good beers, including the elusive barrel aged imperial stout. Super nice people working at Junkyard. We bought a pizza that was very good. The entire experience was excellent.

I've spent the last four years traveling across the country, hiking and visiting 100+ breweries. Junkyard is one of my favorites. Their beer is awesome, their staff is amazing and I love their pizzas. Last night I enjoyed a sauerkraut pizza and a few pints. Yeah, sauerkraut pizza sounds weird, but it was damn good. I also love that Junkyard in Morehead, MN has a large lot they own across from the brewery where they let nomads like me camp. If you are anywhere near Fargo, ND (their Fargo location rocks too) and love great beer I highly recommend stopping by Junkyard Brewery!

Stopped here to try some of their unique beers. They don't have flights but can get a 4oz of whatever and go from there. I had Green Fluff which is a Golden Ale with notes of Pistachio, Pineapple and Marshmallow. And Little Sticky a Sour with hits of Marshmallow, Peach and Strawberry. Also tried Church Giggles another Sour with Cherry, Vanilla and Graham Cracker. Very friendly staff. Enjoyed my stop. You can also order food from a neighboring restaurant and when it's ready they'll text you, it's a short walk to pick up and bring back to enjoy.

Babb's Coffee House is a trendy spot located between Wimmers Diamonds and Rhombus Guys Pizza, offering gourmet coffee, breakfast, and lunch options. The decor features iconic images of Seattle, creating a hip ambiance with wooden chairs, cozy couches, and local art adorning the exposed brick walls. The coffee beans are freshly air-lifted from Seattle weekly.
Came for the coffee, stayed for the charm and character of the place. It’s got that perfect laid-back vibe that makes you want to linger. Great coffee, delicious food options, and such a welcoming feel. Definitely our new favorite stop whenever we’re in Fargo!

This trendy cafe also features friendly staff managed by the business owner, delicious baked goods, soups, and entrees. And who can forget the coffee? Dancing goats is their signature brew and they do pour-over, French press, cappuccino, espresso, lattes, breves, a delicious coffee shake, and a plethora of flavored syrups to enhance your preferred quaff.

What an amazing find!!! Fargo should be famous for Babbs. The staff are so kind, helpful, and skilled at what they do. Remarkably friendly. We came in about 11 with a lot of people and we had some dietary questions and didn’t have our stuff together 😅. The staff were still super friendly and helpful. Babbs also has the goods on the food and drinks!! It’s a great place to hang out and eat, drink coffee, etc. super cozy, tons of things to explore, games, super comfortable seating.

Very nicely done little coffee shop. Coffee was excellent but the two ladies working made the ambiance less than appealing with their incessant complaining about literally everything in their lives
Paul L — Google review
While searching for things to check out in Fargo while there for an appointment, I discovered this coffee shop. Seattle, Wa is one of my favorite cities in the world, so I was excited to check out this coffee shop. Well, yes, the decor is cool, and reflects the Seattle scene. However, I was disappointed to find that the "North Dakota" culture of poor service and incredulous staff was in full effect. People in North Dakota just don't seem to understand how to be cordial and friendly. The owner was there and interrupted a conversation I was having with my server, and completely ignored me. In my experience, that's the standard in North Dakota. The locals just don't get it; socially inept. Good coffee, but I bought a cookie today (5/30), and later noticed that it had a sticker that read 5/24. So a week old... So, the atmosphere is nice, just don't expect to be treated like a human here, and double check the date on any pastries before purchasing.

Delicious latte! I love that they have several sugar free flavor options. Fast and friendly service. Chill vibe with a good amount of indoor seating and nice little table for outdoor seating. Great stop for coffee if you are downtown.
Q Q — Google review
I gave this place a second chance after a terrible experience a couple of weeks ago, and I regret it—I will not be returning. While I’ve always appreciated the downtown vibe and eclectic atmosphere in the coffee shop, the service is consistently unwelcoming and unprofessional. During my most recent visit, I stood waiting at the counter while the cashier chatted with another customer. As I waited, I overheard the customer expressing concern about a price. Rather than acknowledging the feedback politely (which is standard in any decent customer service environment), the cashier shrugged it off and responded rudely. She then drew another cashier’s attention and said, “Did you hear that lady?”—openly mocking the customer right in front of me. To make matters worse, the second cashier responded with a barrage of profanity, including taking the Lord’s name in vain and dropping multiple F-bombs—again, all within earshot and before anyone had even acknowledged my presence. On top of the terrible attitude, the speed of service is embarrassingly slow. There’s no urgency, no communication, and clearly no concern for how long customers are waiting for their orders. This is not how you run a business. Downtown charm and aesthetic can only go so far when the staff creates such a hostile and careless environment.

HoDo Restaurant & Lounge is a modern and upscale venue located in the Hotel Donaldson, offering artisanal drinks and New American cuisine. Visitors highly recommend the Chicken Sammy with its delicious avocado spread and fresh-cut fries. The restaurant has an upscale menu but maintains a casual atmosphere, providing high-quality food and drink. While some have experienced occasional service issues, the General's Chicken dish was delivered quickly and tasted great.
Always delicious, unique course offerings, and superb service all in the heart of downtown Fargo! The HoDo has always provided high quality food and drink. An upscale menu and look, with a casual feel. The dishes are a little pricier, but you get what you pay for. The only complaint I could make is that I've had some issues with service in the past, but it's only been here or there. Today I had the General's Chicken, a classic HoDo dish that I was craving. This is my first time in Fargo and my LYFT driver was recommended this place. I’m so happy he did!! I had the Chicken Sammy. One of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever had! It had an avocado spread that was awesome! The french fries are fresh cut with the skins on and seasoned just right. Not too salty and crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside. Rustica | Eatery and Tavern

Restaurant
Nestled in the historic Kassenborg Block building from 1898, Rustica Eatery and Tavern is a charming rustic-chic destination that beautifully blends American cuisine with Italian and Spanish influences. With its exposed brick walls and inviting wood-burning pizza oven, this cozy spot offers two distinct dining experiences: one featuring traditional American dishes infused with European flavors, while the other specializes in artisanal wood-fired pizzas crafted by Executive Chef Eric Watson using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Man, the last two weeks I had been struggling. My wife and I needed a good pick me up. We are so happy that we found this place. We've been in Fargo for a few months and we love downtown. But I needed a change from the wannabe hipster places. Rustica is much more my vibe. Instead of chasing coolness, it's the inspiration for cool. Elegant but understated. Good lively crowd enjoying their evening without being obnoxious. My mocktail was so tasty and complex. The Spanish meatballs were savory with a small hint of sweetness. The buratta with tomatoes, so many hints of flavor. The French Farmer Pizza so to unique! The whole staff was amazing. They were attentive but they you breathe. They all seemed to work well together, staying busy but never rushed. They didn't seem to hate their jobs, such a difference from most places. This will be our go-to place now!
John G — Google review
While visiting the area for work, this place came highly recommended, so I had to stop in for dinner. It's a very nice downtown spot, and the atmosphere showed promise. Unfortunately, that's where it ended. I was very hungry, so I ordered a Burrata Cheese plate appetizer and a Rustica burger. The app arrived first, and it looked great. It had marinated grape tomatoes, spinach pesto on top of the burrata cheese, balsamic reduction, and grilled bread. The bread, cheese, and pesto were delicious, but the balsamic reduction tasted a lot more like red wine vinegar, and when combined with the tomatoes, it was incredibly acidic. Not balanced at all. It really needed a true balsamic reduction, which is usually thicker and a little sweet. That would have balanced it out correctly. Next, the burger arrived. It also looked great. It was a beef patty on a fresh and nicely toasted bin with mahon & cheddar cheeses, a caesar aioli, and rustic fries. I ordered it medium-rare, and it was close, but a solid medium. The burger was juicy, and the meat tasted great. However, once again, another simple mistake ruined it. It was so heavily salted for some reason, it was hard to finish. I added some ketchup to offset some of it, and it helped, but not enough. It had more salt than the fries, and the aioli had almost no flavor at all. So, why didn't I say anything to my server? (Bartender) Easy, once the food was delivered (each course), not once did anyone come by where I was sitting at the bar and ask how anything was. It wasn't at all busy. There were only a couple of other people sitting at the whole bar, and maybe 3 tables sat. All of the plates were still sitting on the bar when I left. I had stacked each set as I finished, but no one made any effort to clear anything the whole time I was there. Only after everything was pushed away and I had my credit card out did the bartender come over to give me the check. Overall, I feel this place has potential and should have been a great experience as the menu looked great and appeared to have a nice combination of flavors, if executed correctly. The mistakes made were simple, but unfortunately, they were very noticeable and ruined the experience. Hopefully, they can get them fixed.

Alot of places with this kind of look, style, and food like to pretend to be upscale. AKA, high prices that the food and service do not justify (think of the memes about those startup burger joints with the polished concrete floors, high stools, expensive food, service that is apathetic at best, etc. Places meant to appeal to what downtown Fargo has devolved into, all shine and no substance and allergic to the soul that it used to have). Rustica isn't like that. The food was spectacular (if that fillet was any more tender it would have been a liquid), the macaroni and cheese puts all other restaurant macaroni and cheese to shame, and the small buns that were brought out were divine. The service was genuine and they really did care about how everyone's time and evening went, you can't fake that. If you are going anywhere to eat in the downtown area that is not here and price is not an issue, please reconsider.

Taco Shop is a beloved fast-casual Mexican eatery in Fargo, with multiple locations across the town. Known for its signature hot sauce and taco meat recipes, this place has been serving up delicious fare since the 1960s. Whether you're craving tacos, sandwiches, or other Mexican and American dishes for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Taco Shop has got you covered. The menu features affordable options under $10, including larger entrees like enchiladas.
UPDATE 9-8-24: I had to go back and I got the chicken enchilada plate. Absolutely delicious! Plus it was under $10 for a filling meal. I am officially making this my go to place for Thursdays if next visit is as tasty and filling. We spent about $34 for a meal and a half. We got full and had some left over to eat later that evening. The Taco Shop in South Fargo has the best tacos in town. I also recommend any of the breakfast burritos at any time during the day. Pro tip always get the extra salsa for the burrito. If you are in the mood for a grinder. I suggest The Deluxe with extra hot sauce. A reasonable person can get away with half grinder and be stuffed. If you want to go home order the full grinder and save some for a late night meal. They haven't changed the inside since forever so if you haven't been there in long time you will remember exactly where to go.

The food is great and I eat here often but I was not impressed today after I placed an order in the drive through and waited maybe 20 mins which is unusual because they are typically quick but I realized what was taking so long- one of the employees in the back parking lot revving up the engine on some old car- then go back into the store and bagged my food so I could leave- what are you doing guy 🤣

The food is good here it's fresh and very clean place always good service I have always thought of it as good North Dakota Mexican food and nothing here, at least to my taste, is super spicy. I tend to order the same things here although their menu has breakfast burritos, grinders many different things. I like their tostada with cheese and I also had their Hawkeye taco named after FM Red Hawks Mascot. The food delish and fast friendly service. I like how crispy and fresh their hard shell tacos are. I love going here and happy with my visit every time--- also it's cheap.

For those seeking adventure indoors, the park boasts a sprawling multi-level laser tag arena and batting cages for both baseball and softball enthusiasts.
We had an enjoyable time playing mini golf last night. They have two beautiful courses. We went late so we only had time to play one of the courses. I do find 9pm closing a little early for summer.

We had a great family night. Batting cages, GoCarts, Arcade games, and Put Putt oh and Lazer tag. This place is full of fun. The PutPutt was Awesome!!! Little challenging and so beautifully decorated. Family night here is a must. Bring the family out and enjoy something to snack on after a day of fun with the family. Friendly staff, plenty of parking.

Best mini-golf course I've been to! Their 2 golf courses, 36 holes total, are very creative, well maintained, and definitely fun! There are a lot of shortcuts, straight putts, and river holes. It's worth checking it out! They also offer an arcade, batting cage, go karts, and bumper cars.

Super fun. So much to do. The mini golf was awesome. Batting cages were super fun. The arcade is large. Will have to come back to take in all the activities. The staff was unfortunately the downfall. Very unfriendly interactions from the staff taking money for tickets.

Had a fun time playing mini golf and go kart here. Very reasonable prices, only slight downside is the very slow karts, but still fun! Especially for the little ones or the families.

Always a great time with the kids! Recommend for any family looking for something fun to do!!

Company outing here was a fun time to team build. I just wish the petals were further for us taller people. My first time doing lazer tag that was cool. I enjoyed the mini golf we killed it. The food options could always be upgraded and the batting cages weren't all working. Other than that it was a fun day.

A lot to do for family fun - prices are reasonable - lots of quick made food and fun. Arcade was a hit for younger kids and prices were cheap enough to play a long time. You can easily burn an hour or 2

Fun place to stop. Nice arcade, bowling, restaurant, bar with food, eTabs, TVs and a wonderful black jack dealer. Had some luck and was paid to try the beers lol.

Super cool! So much fun. Enjoyed It so much. And the food is really good. Arcade and bowling are so much fun, and laser tag and escape room is great. The laser tag is a little hot, and escape room too, but yet again it's so much fun

We brought our 3 year old and some friends for lunch. We sat in the bowling area and had great service and excellent food. The burgers and fries were huge and exceptional. We didn't do any bowling ourselves, but had fun being in that environment. We played arcade games after that. Lots of games to choose from, but a number of the machines were either off or not accepting the swipe card. Fun for all ages in the arcade. Our kid was very sad to leave since he had such a good time!

This was my first trip. It was a goodbye night out before my son and his fiance because they are moving to Arizona in a few days. I will miss them so much😥 but had fun at their favorite spot... My two year old granddaughter was running around crazy on their "dance floor" and she kept grabbing staff and having them dance with her and they were accommodating by dancing with her for a quick dance as they passed her... This place has was so much fun. We bowled, played in the awesome arcade, and we ordered fabulous food! They also have gambling and bars which we did not use but they looked awesome! I will definitly return to Kingpinz...it was a blast!

Took my family and my triplets for their 20th birthday! The bowling, food and staff were amazing! The kids were shocked (and played along) when they got birthday hats, kingpinz straws and a bigger surprise - $20 arcade cards! We’ll be back many times!

We love King Pinz! Held a birthday party there for the second time, this one for my 8 year old son. It was great, as always! Troy was an excellent server, making sure our ice cream cake stayed frozen, and even provided a knife AND lighter when I forgot mine! All guests were well taken care of and had a wonderful time.

We had our work party here, in the back room of Barons. Nice private room, great set up. Food was delicious. Service was great. We had team activities in the escape rooms and laser tag. Both events were active, fun and great for team bonding. Ashley made scheduling our event easy. Highly recommend!

We rented out the Elite Suite for a company event and couldn't have been more impressed! Ashley was very easy to work with when setting up the event, and the day-of staff was amazing, from the front desk to our servers, to the bartender! I would highly recommend KingPinz to anyone looking for a unique company outing or day adventure.

My kids had a blast this weekend. My daughter, 8, has been to a few birthday parties here, lots of fun. My son, 6, his 1st time ever on skates. The walker you can rent helped him so much to balance and feel confident. The practice area is great.

Had fun at this place —great for a date night, and with kids. A kid was having a party here, so I guess it's a good place for that, too.. I rate a 3-star because my son could not skate and they refused to give him Training to help him skate and something to lean on because he wasn't under 9 years old or short enough and that spoiled the whole first-time skating experience for him No matter the age or height they should allow the training to help with anyone who wants one It's was $5.

I just want to say how wonderful the staff here is. My daughter needed some help learning how to skate so I signed her, and myself up for the beginner classes. They classes are affordable and they offer different days/times. The staff is beyond amazing and they truly do a wonderful job with not just little kiddos but with the adults as well. They are very patient, friendly and take their time with everyone. Big thank you for their help.

Housed in a restored railroad shop from 1883, the Viking-themed brewery offers tours and tastings of their handcrafted brews. Despite its modern brewing equipment, Drekker maintains a hands-on approach to brewing, setting it apart from newer breweries. Visitors can enjoy unique craft beers not commonly found elsewhere.
I’m not a drinker of any sort but the folks in my party that were with me on our visit truly enjoyed all of the different brews they tried. There’s a ton of choices and I highly recommend the flight option - great to try out a few beers. We were also able to enjoy the fire pit patio out back. Super nice! Very friendly people here, they’ll answer your questions. Highly recommend you stop by…

This place is fantastic. A one stop shop. From the art work, pinball machines, to the food and drinks (also a hotel but we didn’t stay here). There is so much to do while hanging out. Plenty of options for drinks with a variety of beer and seltzers. Wide variety of delicious food and treats. Some of the best options for merch we have seen at a brewery.
Andrea M — Google review
This place is HUGE. No idea before coming plus had a hotel and food hall attached would recommend to stay at while in Fargo. Some of the best smoothie style and milkshake style sour beers in the country, only couple that do it anything like they do here in North Dakota. Not just sour, but more tart and sweet. Many just like a desert. The boozy soft serve ice cream, fried ice cream, was as good as it sounds too and must on a hot day there.
G G — Google review
Got lucky and stumbled upon Drekker recently while on the hunt for hazy IPAs in the area. I'd tried a plethora of their sours previously, which I like, but hadn't had much experience with their hazy IPAs. I was surprised how delicious the hazy IPAs were. The layout of the facility is fun as it's located in a large shared building with an oyster bar and other small businesses. Pinball machines are a fun touch, too! Great place for watching trains!
Ryan S — Google review
We enjoyed our beers here but the person working the counter really wasn't overly welcoming or good at explaining the beers when asked. We understand how big/corporate Drekker is and it kind of gave us that vibe. Beers were fine, no offer to taste before committing. There is tons of parking and seating though which is great.
M T — Google review
We did flights ($17ish for 4 depending on what you choose). Dogs are welcome. Phenomenal space with lots of seating indoors and out. Big selection of Drekker merch to purchase. Great way to spend an afternoon.

Very nice place good service, friendly staff architecture alone of the building is worth a visit cool place I wish they offered food but they don’t. There is food up the hall that you can bring back there and eat. I would love to return, but I’ll probably never get the chance.

The restaurant offers an extensive menu with 50 different burgers, 50 brews, and more. Customers have praised the diverse options available, from the Hot Momma burger to gluten-free bun choices.
Fantastic place to enjoy a meal! The food was great. The hangover burger is a must try, served on a glazed donut bun. Love the atmosphere & excellent service!

We stopped by in the early afternoon and it was quiet. We ordered an appetizer and a couple sandwiches and really only have positive things to say about the experience. The Sickies burger was great and the spare parts appetizer was much more than what we needed. It was a good experience.

What in the world! Do not shortchange this spot! The menu is crazy creative and delicious… not only the biggest variety of burgers I’ve ever seen, but sandwiches, salads, shakes, and even amazing desserts. The service and the fun surrounding make this is a top pick where ever you are!

The place looks amazing the staff is amazing the food is … bland .. the menu looks amazing but the food served to us while pretty had NO flavor. The chicken pot pie tots were crispy but covered brown gravy and celery and carrots (sorry never had chicken pot pie with brown gravy) but I can say 1000 percent the managers and the staff here are the best in the biz! The tator tots were crispy fresh and perfectly seasoned!!!

Quick friendly service. The waitress check on us frequently and refilled beverages prior to us running out. Food was hot and delicious as usual. My daughter had a burger and I had the Lunch chicken strip basket. The lunch portions are a little smaller but still satisfying. The burger was great. The batter on the chicken strips is the best. Even though the texture of the chicken itself was not perfect, the chicken strips tasted great. Overall, another great lunch at Sickies.

Great place for lunch and dinner. Many many large tvs to watch sports, especially hockey! The grilled cheese and chili hit the spot on a cold day
Ruben R — Google review
I went in here with a couple friends after work and honestly the burgers were pretty solid. Nothing too fancy, just good flavor and cooked the way I asked. The place was a bit busy, so the service took a few extra minutes, but the staff was friendly about it and kept checking in. I tried their classic cheeseburger and the bun was soft and held up well, which I always appreciate. Fries were warm and not overly salty. Overall, it’s a nice spot if you’re just looking for a simple, good hamburger without the big fuss. Would probably come back again.

Vietnamese restaurant
Restaurant
Jade Dragon is a hidden gem located in a strip mall in Fargo, offering delicious Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine. Despite its unassuming exterior, the restaurant boasts a clean and serene atmosphere. The menu features well-prepared entrees with fresh and crisp vegetables. Customers rave about the legendary pho, packed with generous portions of meat, noodles, and vegetables. Whether dining solo or with a group, patrons appreciate the attentive service and reasonable prices that often result in leftovers to take home.
For our last meal in Fargo (and our cross America Road Trip), we checked out Jade Dragon since they had some vegan options we could check out. Sharing a Pho Raw Cai Tofu & Vegetables, Fried Tofu with Mixed Vegetables, Egg Rolls and Spring Rolls, it was very good, not greasy and the servings were quite hearty. The menu lists items as vegetarian but what we had was also vegan and the staff were great at helping decide what to order and navigate our preferences.
Marcella S — Google review
Restaurant is super spacious and not typically busy. Menu has a lot of good options! I ordered the wonton soup and the Beef Pho. Pho broth was pretty good not too bland. This place is reasonably priced and conveniently located near downtown but without the hustle and bustle. I would recommend this place as it’s an Asian fusion, so you can find traditional and none traditional cuisine.
Niki B — Google review
Had dinner here a few days ago with some friends and it turned out better than I expected. The pho broth was flavorful and felt really fresh, and the spring rolls were light and crispy. The place itself is small but cozy, and the staff was friendly even though it got pretty busy around dinner time. Prices seemed fair for the portions too. I’m not a big expert on Vietnamese food, but everything tasted clean and well seasoned. Would probably come back again to try their banh mi next time.

At first, you almost miss the restaurant because it isn't very obvious. It isn't huge and you can totally miss it when driving by. But when you get inside, It's so clean and calm. I was greeted right away and brought back to a table right away. I was waiting for a friend, and they made sure I had water immediately. They checked in on us, but didn't seem to smother us or rush us. The food was wonderful!! And the portions were big, so we were able to take the leftovers home. The music was serene and nice. The lighting was perfect. It's also easy to pull up a wheelchair to the table if you need to. The whole experience was awesome. And I will DEFINITELY be back!! The prices were great, too. We didn't break the bank and we left very happy!

Multi generation family owned restaurant. Excellent food served hot and great service. I didn't have the egg rolls, but I was told they're the best! It's a little difficult to locate downtown Fargo, so use your map app. It's definitely worth the effort. They could use a larger sign to make it stand out.

We have been coming here for a long time know so I’m going to give you the pros and cons Pros: Best Staff in Fargo Food is A++, Hot and fresh every time. They have the best Pho in Fargo. It has a very home feeling you won’t feel out of place and if you have question the staff will assist with anything. Cons: Honestly I cannot think of one. This is the best restaurant in Fargo hands down if you have never been well this is your time. What are you waiting for? Update: This is the Best and most consistently good place in Fargo

On our way through ND we arrived at this small city on the Minnesota border, it's Sunday and it's time to explore a new city, haha. We found this little burger and beer bar near the Pilot, what a beautiful place! good service, the guys know absolutely everything about the many beers they sell, I saw them patiently explain it to each customer and they recommended one that was delicious! Finger licking burgers! I loved the place, totally recommended!

Sun sets are amazing on the patio. Limited outdoor seating but very appealing and quiet. Food was amazing and they offer a great and unique selection of beers. Always torn between their homemade chips or fries but you can't go wrong with either. The American cheeseburger with extra pickle and special sauce instead of ketchup is the way to go.

The food and atmosphere was great! I had the Not A Nutter Burger and buffalo fries, which were fantastic. The only real issue was the bartender seemed like he wanted to play on his phone more than he wanted to tend bar. Other than that, it was worth it.
Jason B — Google review
Id give it 4.5, but it doesn't let me do small measurements. Everything i had was perfect and service was fast and friendly, my only complaint i could possibly have, is the burger was cooked a little too well done, as it was a bit dry. However, overall I was perfectly satisfied. As for the environment, its just a bit hot for me personally. Im sure its suitable for most others though. The drinks were cold and delicious, no complaints there

Showed up with my 1-year-old and was told to “get out” before we even made it past the door. Apparently, no one under 21 is allowed inside—not even an infant. The staff was about as warm and welcoming as a brick wall. They claim it’s because of a “special liquor license,” but I could find zero evidence that any license in existence bans kids entirely. Translation: it’s their own policy, they just don’t want to say, “We don’t like kids.” Here’s a thought—save everyone the embarrassment and just put up a big, bold sign: “Adults Only – No Kids, Ever.” Not the vague “Must be 21 to enter” that liquor stores use, which still allows kids with parents. But I guess being direct might take away the thrill of kicking families out in front of a crowd. And to the owner: “It says it on the website” is not the mic drop you think it is. It took me 10 minutes to find, and even then it wasn’t clear. If you have kids—even if they’re at home—just know you’re not the “vibe” here.

Mandarin Kitchen Express, located at the former spot of Lucy's on 32nd Avenue, has quickly become a favorite for Chinese cuisine in Fargo. The restaurant is known for its efficient service and reasonable prices, offering generous portions of delicious food. Customers rave about the tasty entrees such as bourbon chicken and lo mein, as well as beef with broccoli. The friendly service and clean environment add to the overall positive experience at this go-to takeout place.
We are always in a hurry to get into their foods, so please excuse the photos from 2 different take outs! We love the food from Mandarin Kitchen Express, very tasty and good quantity as well. If I have to choose, my favorite would be beef with broccoli… actually they are all very good! Service is quick and always friendly. My teenager kids all agreed these are the real “Happy Meals”.

Great little place, awesome prices good service classic tasty Chinese buffet style food. A good local alternative to like a Panda Express. They do have a drive-thru as well even though it is closed right now for construction or something. Probably the better food than half the buffets in town.

Delicious Lo Mein and Mongolian Beef. I visited during their downtime and got treated well. Made a single portion entree fresh for me since entrees weren't out yet for dinner service. How cool! Food is a little on the salty side but that could just be me.

Mandarin Kitchen Express was a pleasant surprise. This place is run like a machine! The efficiency is fantastic. I spoke to several locals about where to grab some cheap eats and they all said Mandarin. The prices are absolutely reasonable. The portions are massive and the taste, well what I had slapped. I ordered the one entree of bourbon chicken and lo mein. You won’t find a better deal in Fargo for $8. Thanks for the great meal!

Service was great, portions were large. Unfortunately that’s the only good I have to say. I ordered the 2 entree combo, kung pao chicken & black pepper chicken. Both entrees were dry & tasted & looked old/stale. The fried rice was pretty plain also. I’ll try another restaurant next time I’m in town.

This was so delicious! We’re from Grand Forks. She made everything fresh. It was crisp and full of flavor. Everything was very nice. She brought our food out to us. It was reasonably priced at that. Less than $30 for my husband and I. I would recommend this restaurant. It will be one I return to when I come to Fargo

So I ordered this door dash so I do not know how it is at the location. The food overall is great. I had beef broccoli, Mongolian beef, and lo mein. Both the beef items were great. Great flavor and portion. Lo mean was lacking flavor. I would definitely eat here again... just might go for rice. 8 out of 10

I work right above this place and they are always great. They are quick and very friendly. The food is pretty cheap and you get a lot of it (typically I split it between two lunches). I’ve only had my order really wrong once but it’s such a good place that I didn’t mind much and just ate what I liked. I recommend it for a quick, yummy, good value meal!

Wonderful anniversary dinner experience tonight! Nick provided amazing service! Kudos to him. We chose the 3 course option and every dish was delicious. Also, top notch cocktails. Great experience overall... Thanks Nick (a.k.a Charlie lol).

We went to Mezzaluna to celebrate our anniversary. I was told beforehand by others that reservations were required so I made sure to book our reservation about 4 days or so in advance. When we got there we were greeted by the host who then asked us what we were there to celebrate and we told him we were there for our anniversary, which was then passed down the chain. The atmosphere was very intimate but on a Friday night, it was very loud. Our server was beyond helpful and friendly! Often relighting our candle for us 😄 we did the 3 course with wine and because we were there to celebrate our anniversary they gave us a free dessert. The food was delicious! We did not recognize much on the menu, so we had to google a lot and I had also asked some people what their favorites were in advance to have some ideas on what was good. It did not disappoint! It was all presented beautifully and by the end of the third course I was full but not hating myself full. I don’t remember the names of all of our food, but I will attach the pictures below. It was very spendy and had it not been our first wedding anniversary, we wouldn’t have cared to spend that much however, the quality was there. It will only be a “once in a blue moon” kinda place for us though 😅

We dined at Mezzaluna tonight for my partner’s birthday. It was our first time in from out of town. We were excited after reading great reviews. We were impressed upon arriving as the restaurant is gorgeous. The whole team was friendly. Our server Anna was fantastic and made our night special. We started with the burrata. The poached pear, fig jam, and arugula paired so well. My partner ordered the wagyu zabuton. It was delicious and cooked to a perfect medium rare. The pommes fondant was amazing. I ordered the salmon. It was moist, flakey, and the romesco was great. We can’t wait to come back and try the tasting menu.

Mezzaluna never disappoints! We had the most amazing meal! Food was beyond delicious (arancini, burrata, cacio e Pepe and halibut), service was impeccable (Brandon was extremely personable, very knowledgeable and accommodating). Our favorite place to dine in the FM area!

Did 3 course prix fixe menu with wine pairings and really enjoyed the service provided. Slightly spendy for what it was but we knew that going in and really enjoyed our meal.
Zach B — Google review
There are plenty of places to eat in Fargo-Moorhead, but very few offer an experience that truly feels worth every penny. Mezzaluna is always in the conversation for the best restaurant in town—and it's easy to see why. The food is consistently good and often great, but what really sets them apart is the exceptional service—truly the best in the business. I’ll stand by that against anyone. Mezzaluna represents what we wish more restaurants could be, but rarely are. I can’t recommend them enough. On top of everything, the owners are phenomenal people who are deeply invested in the local community. Mezzaluna isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a standard of excellence in Fargo-Moorhead.

Farmers Markets
Red River Market, established in 2015, has quickly become the largest farmers market in North Dakota, attracting over 8,000 visitors weekly. This vibrant event runs from summer to autumn and offers a wide array of fresh produce and homemade goods from over 90 stalls. It's a popular free attraction in Fargo where locals and visitors can immerse themselves in the city's agricultural heritage while enjoying the lively atmosphere and meeting passionate vendors.
A wonderful way to spend a few hours of your day: shopping, eating & drinking! Plus, you can listen to live music while having a delicious cocktail or a cup of coffee. Fur baby friendly too! So many terrific vendors to shop. Everything from lefse, to mushrooms, to real honey, and even puppy treats. Treat yourself & spend a morning/early afternoon at this wonderful market!

What a fantastic event! I was truly blown away by how well organized it was and just how many options there were!! You can tell the organizers really tried their best to make the selections as diverse as possible!

Nice selection of vendors. Festive, great music, and a delightful food and wine selection. Centrally located to all the shops and restaurants in downtown Fargo.
MTT C — Google review
A great place to go and get lost in the culture! The farmers market has live music and lots of tents to try things. If you go later on, it's more market and less farmers (aka, produce), but still fun!

I love The Red River Market! So many vendors, food, veggies, fruits, and sooo much more…everyone is always extremely friendly! There’s also lots of pups to pet, too! :) Always a pleasant time!
Tay J — Google review
THIS IS MY ABSOLUTELY MOST FAVORITE PLACE EVER. I stepped foot onto the Red River Market for the first time after hearing all of the hype and I felt like I was going into a metropolis. This place is extraordinarily adorable, the live music is phenomenal, the food is mouth watering delicious, and the people are just HAPPY. There are plenty of dogs for the adult to dog watch, and there is a playground area for the kids. Literally all bases are covered here. I went over the summer, and it didn’t last as long as I would’ve hoped so that was my only gripe! But people have places to be so I understand!

Their menu includes delectable options such as Gouda Stuffed Pickles, Jalapeno Jack Burger, and Oozing Mac n Cheese. The relaxed atmosphere and sidewalk patio dining make it an ideal spot for various occasions.
Really enjoyed bison burger and fish and chips for lunch. Service was friendly, non assuming and conscientious of table conversation. Clean, fresh, new decor. More towards modern style than cozy. Prices as expected for local, grill style restaurant.

Food is OK. Service is INSANELY slow, and it wasn't even that busy. We were seated and after 20mins our server never came but then people seated after us got service. The bar manager ended up coming outside to tend to us. We ordered our food and drink and asked for our bill right away. The food was disappointing and the sautéed veggies are lightly sautéed and smothered in some salty gravy. The fried cauliflower with honey mustard is pretty good, we all liked that the cauliflower wasn't mushy. The risotto was very very bland and was missing something - idk, put dried cranberries in it or something if it's meant to be vegetarian, and a lot more than 1 asparagus sliced into fours. Drinks were really tasty though, absolutely recommend checking out their cocktail and mocktails. Not sure I'll eat there again, but the outdoor seating is comfortable so maybe we'll go for a drink or two.

My wife and I have eaten here a couple of times. We think the food is good, but not amazing. We love the atmosphere and service.

My wife and I visited on a Friday evening for dinner, and we were sat immediately. Our server was attentive in bringing refills, and our orders didn't take long to be delivered. Both of us enjoyed our meals, and both were reasonably priced as well. This is definitely a place we would come again.

Outdoor dining was very nice. Visited on a Friday night, not busy. Food was very good. Brussel Sprouts, Gouda stuffed fried pickles 😋! Swedish Meatballs were excellent. Cajun Seafood Pasta dish was so good. 1919 Rootbeer was a hit with the kids!
Mindy E — Google review
I want to give 5 stars but as someone else said food is good but not amazing. A friend recommended I try to chicken and rice(risotto). It was ok but please take the breading off the risotto. It was so much more flavorful when I picked off the thick layer of flavorless breading. Some pieces of the chicken were a little tough too. Drinks and service were good.

I've been a loyal patron here for years, and I can confidently say that the staff consistently exhibits professionalism and friendliness. We always enjoy excellent service at the bar. This is the best place! Cozy atmosphere, friendly employees, the warmest memories. You feel like you're in a fairy tale! Coffee is served in beautiful white cups. And what can I say about their croissant? I've never tasted such deliciousness before... Pistachio croissant is an icon of style, it's an unforgettable taste. Unsurpassed! Bravo! I adore this place. It’s my favorite spot to take my family when they come here or on a day I want to treat myself. The deserts are wondering and there’s always a full selection to choose from. They also have a dining area that you can sit and eat . I did takeout for food the first time a few days ago and the waiter was awesome. I didn’t feel lost. Offered me a water while I waited for my order. I got the chicken panini and wow it was SO flavorful, and the sourdough bread was thick and toasty. Amazing! Every. Single. Time. Thank you nicole’s 🩷

Wow!!! That a Cafe of this high quality both in service and delicious offerings exists in North Dakota amazed me! Found this Cafe when I did a bakery search after lunch at a restaurant nearby. A cake slice and cup of coffee sounded great on the rainy day in Fargo yesterday. Staff (except the somber cashier) were warm and welcoming; they all appeared to really enjoy their jobs… Felt like I was back in New York, Seattle, or California! Had a slice of chocolate mouse cake and an Americana. Both were superb! Ambiance was upbeat and just wonderful! Highly recommend Nichole’s Fine Pastry & Café to anyone who expects to be treated with kindness and by high energy, friendly staff. It’s in short supply in ND, but maybe things are changing!

I just want to say this was a wonderful experience. My 14 year old daughter picked this out for her birthday to get some pastry. I'm a certified executive Chef and worked under some French master chefs in LA and orange county, and I really enjoyed the pastry here. We had the tiramisu, almond cake, the chocolate cake with the Dubai like chocolate on bottom and the firm mousse on top, the napoleon, chocolate croissant, and a red velvet cake cupcake. It was fabulous and I really enjoyed showing the girls how an orderly organized kitchen is the only way to make great pastry and Chef does well here with her kitchen. I know she seemed a little frustrated with the shells that came out, but just know that we very much appreciated the final product no matter the struggle sometimes to get there. Great work chef, I'm sure I'll be sent to pick up stuff now to bring home to the girls and wife lol

Eggs Benedict was amazing!, Easily the best in town, for an amazing price as well. Marisa was very knowledgeable on the menu and pleasant to be around. Highly recommend to check out their new expansion. Very pleased.

Went here last weekend after a friend recommended it, and honestly it was pretty good. The pastries looked really fresh and had that homemade kind of vibe. I tried the croissant and a slice of cheesecake — both were buttery and not too sweet, which I liked. The staff was friendly, though it was a bit busy so service took a few extra minutes. The place smells amazing when you walk in, like fresh bread and sugar. Prices are fair for the quality. Would definitely come back to try their coffee and a few other desserts next time.

The cozy dining room accommodates 42 people, making it an intimate setting for enjoying their signature cocktails and flavorful dishes such as Chicken Pot Pie and Red Pepper Ravioli.
The restaurant and bar is very unique. It is really cool that you have to go downstairs to get there. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The drink selection was good. They have happy hour specials which is always appreciated. The food was also tasty. Will go back again!

My wife and I came for dinner around 6pm on a Monday. It wasn't terribly busy, and we were sat without having to wait. We ordered the Scotch Eggs as an appetizer, and it was our first time trying it. Definitely an interesting taste, but in a good way, and we would recommend it. I got the State Fair Burger as my main entrée. I was disappointed at the number of cheese curds, but you got some good strips of bacon, and the burger itself tasted good. My wife got the Steak Bites, and they were pepper forward, which she really liked because it added some extra flavor. The fries themselves tasted good to boot. Service was friendly, and we quite liked the atmosphere. For our visit, the audience seemed to skew a little older, generally people in their 30's and up, but that could just be because it was a Monday night. From our perspective, though, it was nice to be at a place where we could hear each other speak instead of having to shout over background music. We would come again!

They have a new happy hour Tues-Thurs 4-6 with $3 drink choices. I had the red wine and it was very nice. The kitchen is by Detroit Deli. The full sandwiches are huge. We will definitely be back!!

WOW, first time here and the food was outstanding. A little off the beaten path, but well worth looking for. The restaurant has that boiler room vibe which was unique. The Scotch eggs were amazing, no over seasoned, lite, and the sauce made them better. The Rumchata french toast was like eating a cinnamon bun, the bacon was crispy, and the eggs perfect. The breakfast casserole was a perfect dish, you could taste everything, and ver pleasing. The service was quick and friendly. It was a little busy so made it a little loud at times. Definitely will come back.

It was really nice to have an option for seating other than the bar on my solo trip. The music was on point here, and my food was decent. I can recommend the Knoephla especially. Service was good, though once the brunch crowd started shuffling in it was less attentive.

Definitely a fun night at The Boiler Room! The service was phenomenal. He joked with us and chatted with us; very personable. Our food came out quickly and it was nice and warm. The chairs were actually quite comfortable. It was a quiet night so we were seated right away, no wait! The drinks were a little on the strong side, but very good. The fries were crispy and not too salty. The atmosphere was calm, and the music wasn't too loud. It was a great night. I'd probably go back if I had the chance.

We had Chicken Pot pie, Red Pepper Ravioli and Blueberry coffee cake. Everything was great and the chicken pot pie here was a different experience as it did not taste like the traditional pot pie. It was good though. Blueberry coffee cake was delicious. Overall we had a good time there. Only thing they could improve on is service time.

The Scotch eggs are terrific, and there is a kid’s menu with some great options (though my kid said the chicken nuggets really should have been called fried chicken). Great atmosphere and vibe. Some dishes were hit or miss though.

Nestled in historic downtown Fargo, the Jasper Hotel offers refined rooms and suites with upscale amenities such as a gym and sauna. This boutique hotel boasts chic decor, comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, and is pet-friendly. The warm and inviting lounge, bar, and restaurant called Rosewild on the main floor provide an ideal spot for a nightcap.
Hard to believe this hotel is in Fargo. It would be at home in any big city right next to any of the big luxury brands. The rooms are huge, beautiful, quiet and super comfortable. The lobby, restaurant and bar are gorgeous too. The staff are fantastic. Definitely the place to stay if you are in the area.

My family and I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The manager (short, dark hair with a mustache) was extremely rude and refused to take accountability after the front desk associate misled us about a hold on my credit card. To make matters worse, instead of addressing the issue professionally, the manager—who we later found out was staying on the fourth floor (the same floor my entire family needed rooms on)—was seen gossiping about us to another associate. Completely unprofessional. The restaurant staff, on the other hand, were fantastic and the food was excellent. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to fully enjoy our stay due to the poor service and lack of professionalism from management. Now, to be fair, I want to acknowledge that the restaurant staff were incredible. The service there was warm, attentive, and the food was excellent. They truly stood out and deserve recognition. Unfortunately, it’s hard to enjoy a meal when you feel like hotel management is talking behind your back and creating such a hostile atmosphere. For the price we paid ($200 for a room with two queens), the experience was not worth it—especially when compared to our stay the night before at Bruhala, where the service was outstanding and we had a suite for only $150. I am even considering filing a credit card dispute due to how poorly this was handled. Sadly, I cannot recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

Great location on Broadway in Fargo. Very cool vibe. The ONLY silly thing is no coffee or water in the room. There is a carafe of complimentary coffee in the lobby, but that means you gotta get dressed. Also, parking is offsite and the website does not tell you, you need QR code to get into it. So had to scramble to find the number to call the hotel and they emailed me a QR code to scan. It worked out for us, but not everybody would figure that out.
Julie S — Google review
Had a staycation on a Sunday. Started with a world class brunch and live entertainment. Then enjoyed the lobby - lively, full of people traveling and locals. The workout facility and sauna are top notch. The room itself was a nice paradise in the middle of my hometown. Stayed on the 9th floor, great view and a wonderful room. Stylish layout that is a mixture of comfort and coziness. The local flare of eats and drinks in the room made it even better. The service. Wow. The service was amazing. Knowledgeable and attentive. This is not just a place to stay, it is a place to THRIVE. A friend and I decided this is something worth doing several times a year to enjoy a new perspective on downtown Fargo!

Beautiful hotel right in the middle of downtown Fargo! The staff was very nice and helpful. We loved being walkable to all the restaurants and shops in downtown. They are very dog-friendly which was perfect for us traveling with our dog. Great place to stay.

10/10 stay - great location, spacious & clean room, exceptional service. I usually stay at Hilton / Marriott, but this local hotel was well worth the stay. I’ll be back again the next time I’m in town.
Monil P — Google review
We stayed in a very spacious king room. Using credit card points we were eligible for early check-in, if available, which was great that it was so we were able to check in at 11 AM and check out slightly later. We did not take advantage of the sauna or work out room but were available. Only downside was the AC was quiet noisy and the shower, although hot, had substantial fluctuating pressure. The complimentary coffee available in the lobby was very good. This is in a very walkable part of town especially to the Saturday market. We only parked in the ramp connected to the hotel once it was free at 6 PM through the wkend. There is another lot that has 2 hrs of free parking nearby and there is ample 90 min or 4 hr free parking in the area.

1/5 Stars - Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience at The Jasper My family and I stayed at The Jasper for two nights to attend a wedding, and it was a deeply disappointing experience. From the moment we checked in, the manager (a man with a mustache) was shockingly rude, making condescending remarks during our first interaction. This set a negative tone for our entire stay. While sitting in the lobby near the bar, my wife, three children, and I overheard the manager gossiping about us with other staff members. Two of them glanced at us and laughed when they realized we noticed, making us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. This lack of professionalism was unacceptable, especially for a supposed 4-star hotel. The room conditions were equally poor. The air conditioning was ineffective, set to 65°F but leaving the room consistently warm, even for my family who are typically cold. The A/C fan wouldn’t stay on, despite being switched to “on” mode. The bathroom ceiling was visibly damaged, appearing to be falling apart. Additionally, the room lacked basic amenities like a dresser or microwave and felt cramped for a family of five. Having stayed in hotels frequently for work and military travel, I can confidently say this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. For a 4-star property, The Jasper fell far short of expectations. If you’re considering staying here, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere to avoid the discomfort and unprofessionalism we encountered. Save yourself the frustration and choose another hotel for a more peaceful stay.

Pounds is a retro hangout in downtown Fargo that offers original burgers, pickle fries, local craft beers, and specialty cocktails. The 90s-themed vibe with selfie spots and music makes it perfect for millennials. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating as well as a bar. It's pet-friendly with a little outdoor area where they provide sunscreen and water for dogs.
Interesting place. Unique atmosphere. Food was very good. Mac and cheese is good. Fried pickles are good. The beer is cold too! Very good beer selection including many local options. Highly recommend the curly fries. They were spectacular.

Great clean location. I stopped in about 1:30 and was seated quickly and had my burger in less than 12 minutes. It was my final stop on the Fargo burger Royale challenge and was a great burger to end on.

Honestly one the best restaurants in the Fargo/ Moorhead area!! Venue is huge, very spacious for group settings with a big bar. Atmosphere is very eclectic and funky with all different art and plants around the restaurant. The vibe is very chill and friendly and isn’t always super busy, at least around mid-day. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who hasn’t tried or is reluctant but loves food like I once was. Glad I finally gave them a chance because it’s always great service and food.

My husband and I visited this place last Saturday afternoon. The service was great, we sat at the bar. The establishment is really neat and has a good atmosphere. Only complaint was that it was really cold. We had a bloody mary, it was ok. The food was good. We got the truffle fries, sweet potato fries, the ranch flight, and the truffle mac and cheese.

As seen on Triple D's with Guy Fieri. The wings were just how I like them, nice and crispy with sauce on the side. Bartenders were really cool with other local recommendations. Get the ranch flight.

The service was friendly, attentive but not overly. Food was amazing 👏 they're... well, everything.. come hungry! Atmosphere is laid back, and unique, I guess I wasn't expecting it and was very pleased. Definitely recommend.

Stopped in excited for a burger, ordered tendys as an app, they came out in 30 seconds cold as they were sitting in the window previously cooked. Disappointed, wouldn’t recommend. Other spots in town with fresh/hot food.

We had a pretty good experience at Pounds. The food was really good. Definitely happy with it. (It is quite salty, so just be cautious if you're sensitive to that.) They don't have physical menus; you scan a QR code in order to check out the menu. Which is nice, but also not. Kind of annoying that they don't have a physical menu. The biggest downside to this place is the atmosphere. It was so LOUD. I was sitting next to the person I was with and we could hardly hear each other. The area is quite spacious, so you can get a lot of people in there. The Mac and cheese burger was really good, too. Definitely recommend! We'll probably be back if they turn down the music, haha.
