We spent 4 wonderful days on the farm. The accommodation was excellent. Beautifully appointed cottage. Good quality linen and a very comfortable bed. The food we ate at the Red Shed Restaurant was excellent. There are so many activities to do on the farm. What a pleasure to visit such a well organized and pristine farm. We can't wait to return. An absolute gem!!

We had a lovely time with our two grandsons. Lots of fun things for them to do. The garden is beautiful and the service at the restaurant was very good. The food was good value for money. It is well worth visiting this gorgeous venue.

I attended the berry festival in October and had the best time! Irresistible craft market, the largest hedge maze in Southern hemisphere (was a dream come true) and of course, fresh strawberries and exceptionally yummy food all round. Lots of activities for kids, young and old, albeit the individual ticket prices can add up fast. Ample parking, but unfortunately someone in our party had their car hit-and-run and the parking attendants and organisers were dismissive.

If you ever visit George, you need to visit the Redberry farm. There's so much activities for the kids to do, such as a great Maze trail, train rides, picking strawberries and so much more as well as opportunities for adults to unwind and enjoy themselves too. There's a variety of Restaurant options with their own unique menu's and drinks to choose from

Awesome place to take the kids, pick some strawberries and ride on the mini train and bumper boats. Lots of awesome food options. An On the move office is also quite nice.

We never stayed there,but popped in for some strawberries and visited the shop which had so many nice goodies to purchase! Definitely a place to spend some time. Many things to do for the kids and adults.

Farm where you buy a plastic pot and head to pick strawberries, a kind lady will measure the amount of strawberries where you can wash and eat directly. Gift shop where you can buy clothes or cups. Small area for kids to feed rabbits and hamsters. A restaurant with strawberries dishes. A shop to buy farm products and food. A beautiful place to spend a lovely time.

Comfortable waiting area and so easy to find your gate as they are all lined up beside each other 😊 Bathroom didn't lock though and it's a single one. There is a paid lounge upstairs for more luxury. Security is friendly and fast. So was my check-in.

Everything is fine and fast here, never waiting too much for anything considering the few flights there are. The terminal is pretty old and a bit dark inside. For spotting, this is heaven. Nice views on take off but even more when approaching runway 29 over Wilderness.

It could use an expansion project. One of the ladies working in the parking office very rude, unapologetic. Good small Airport in general.

George Airport is efficient, clean, and well-organized. Check-in and security are usually quick and hassle-free, making travel stress-free. The facilities are neat, with a good selection of coffee shops and places to grab a bite before your flight. Staff are generally friendly and helpful, and the airport is conveniently located with easy access to town. A great regional airport that makes traveling through the Garden Route smooth and pleasant.

Small and super efficient! Quick exit with no long queues. All major car rentals are right outside – perfect for picking up your ride and heading straight onto the Garden Route. Highly convenient for a coastal road trip! 🚗🌊

Awesome, spacious coffee shop very near to George airport. Great coffee, extremely friendly personnel, and service. The bread pepper pie was burning like crazy and cold. The egg and bacon bread pie was sold out at 8hoo. If it sells so fast ,why not make more.? This open-air coffee shop is not dog friendly inside. Beautiful clean toilets. Great merchandise.

10/10 would recommend!! The food is local but with a unique twist. I ordered a bobotie pie, it was so good I went for seconds and had a pepper steak pie, the pie had a gracious amount of meat and sauce, it definitely wasn't one of those airpies that you get at the local garage. I tipped the waitress the whole staff chimed in: "Thank you, Dankie, Merci Beaucoup."

Such great atmosphere! The staff are lovely , they all cheered and all when you put a tip in the jar. The coffee great and some lovely local items!

Great place.. great biltong and lekker koffie. Its a must visit. They cool merchandise inside the shop. We visited the location in hartenbos on the beach front aswell more then 5 times for a knypkoek and koffie. Staff are friendly. Vary happy we visited thier locations.

This mall is my favorite in the whole garden route area. Compared to other malls, it really stands out, is well kept, clean and has a good variety of shops for a smaller town area. Most of the other malls are convince rather than comparison stores which I appreciate. I recommend anyone to visit this mall! It's safe and is placed in a good area. I would however suggest going on a WEEKDAY instead of the weekend if your a bit more of an introvert like me. During the week it is more calm, perfect for having a bit of an outing, window shopping or eating out. 🌸 They have some really nice higher-end stores for those who prefer as well as many shops with way more affordable prices. Also... their Simply Asia is honestly the one of the best Asian cuisine shops I've been to. P.S they have BOBA and you should try the coconut fresh one it's addicting. 🤣💫 Their typo is also quite nice and I haven't had many bad customer service experiences in the mall in general, so give it a go! I would like for the mall to have more international stores and variety due to where and how I grew up, however I understand that in an area like this it's hard to achieve.

It's a mall. No more, no less. Had breakfast at the Spur. Spur breakfasts are average but then again fried eggs, bacon and pork sausage is just that. However, the mushrooms....yuck! Don't have mushrooms on your menu of you don't know how to cook them.

I am not from george and traveled far to get to the walk- in dentist . I have waited approximately 4hours to be helped. When I entered the dentist room , I was told that they are unable to assist me because my weight is not appropriate for them and their chair is unable to carry my weight range . This surely has a negative effect on people's self -esteem and dignity . I'm highly touched and disappointed by management in this regard.

Waiting 40 min for a small order with no customers in front of me. Staff do not bother to explain what the hold up is. Was told after ordering and paying they had no fried chicken and that it would be max 15 min.. rather disappointing ..

Security are way too strict. The place can do with some proper entertainment besides cinema and food. The outside stalls and inside stores idea very catchy. The back parking area facing the highway can be made public and accessible with more shops children friendly.

Garden Route Mall is a massive mall on the southern Cape coast and a walk through this mall could easily double as a healthy exercise of about an hour. There are a wide variety of shops and plenty of security. The bathrooms were clean and unlike some other shopping centres, you are not required to pay extra to use them. There’s a nice touch of natural light that comes into the mall as well. Parking is plentiful and free, but there was no undercover parking, which is a pity, especially when the weather is a bit nasty.

What a well-rounded Museum, touching on almost all major types of transport. I'm not much of a train enthusiast, but I really found the train displays very fascinating. The classic car section was more up my alley with some really stunning cars on display. There is also a small section covering aviation and maritime transport as well. And best of all....it's Free to enter! Definitely worth a visit.

A hidden gem. It definitely could use little update and some new lights because it's quite dark inside. Still really cool to see all the old trains and cars. There's not many free activities these days so that's a bonus.

Definitely worth a stop and on the main route thru George, much larger than expected and very interesting vehicles focusing on trains however also classic cars and busses.

To experience the Spur they have a high standard so you know when going there you will always have a good meal. My service this time was lacking as I had ribs and got no finger bowl but another table got. Also the waitress could not understand me and I had to speak to her more than once. Learning to communicate is the first step into life of working and getting your career on the go. Spur food has once again been good and end of day my stomach was happy. I will definitely visit again

Had a lovely lunch with my family. Food was great, staff are well trained and friendly. The spur was full, so we had to wait, but the wait was worth it. As the kids had funn, and hubby coud sit and chat and relax.

Had the best vegetarian burger. The roll, French fries and patty was hot and fresh. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his meat burger too. Lovely waitress and staff members adds a pleasant atmosphere as well.

Absolutely horrible, waited 20 minutes after our order, only for the waiter to tell us that the printer in the kitchen wasn’t working and the order will be here soon. Our order comes, and we get this?!!!! HORRIBLE

Just went for a drink before our movie , and Markus the waiter was so accommodating and friendly. Definately an asset to Spur .normally if we just go for a drink we get terrible service because we are not eating but Markus treated us like regular patrons . I hope he gets recognised for his service and an incentive .

Took my son to Nandos for the first time. He ordered medium and it didn't go down well. He won't be doing that again. Had to share my lemon and herb meal with him. As always Nandos has nice chicken, order the chicken.

Pretty good food for both the dinner service and breakfast buffet for the days we were here. I absolutely adored the pasta options such as the carbonara and another that’s mushroom based. The breakfast also provided a wide variety of options including a chef’s special which is different each day

Nice atmosphere but poor control of entrance doors. 8 meals. 4 good ones. 1 average and 3 poor meals. Pastas are not traditional recipe. Carbanara and Gnocchi very disappointing.

Had two great dinners with family during our stay at Fancourt.

Do NOT buy any TROJAN gym equipment from Game or Makro before you tested any off the app on the equipment. Testing the unit in store to see if you can login to Spotify, Netflix and that the Google Chrome is the latest version. I bought the TROJAN TR700 Treadmill from Game in George on 09/07/24. Game sales person told all apps work as on advertisement. I took delivery my self setting it up. Login to Spotify that works fine. Login to Netflix it says I needed to update the app on the unit. There's no settings or a function to do that. I contacted TROJAN directly and telling them the issue I have with the unit. They was quick to respond to my email but trying to sort out the problem was a bit of a problem. Remember I only have 7 days to return the item back to Game store. So I was cool and calm with them. As my 7 days is running out they keep on asking me for an extended day so I say it's OK. Next day same story asking for another extended day. In the meantime I was thinking about my 7 day period for return if not sorted out. So on day 7 I whent back too Game to arrangement for pickup and refund. This morning they told me they can't pick it up today Game reschedule for the next day 18/07/24. Guys think twice before buy an expensive equipment from Game and stay away from any TROJAN equipment that have an android software build in. Test it first before making your payment

Good place to shop. Fresh produce is nice The staff is always friendly. The donuts and croissants are very tasty. The only thing I can fault is that on busy days the queue is so long it runs all the way to the back of the shop.

I have always loved Woolworths. The one in Somerset West is awesome. I realised today that I will shop at Woolies a lot less from now. I added a 250g Maldon salt to my trolley and Ididn't check the price, which I should have in hindsight. Upon arriving home, I checked the slip and the Maldon was R179,99. I researched the price and at PnP it is R 132,99. If that is not price gouging by Woolies, I do not know what is.

Just don’t get why if you want to pay with your Woolies store card, you cannot use your virtual card, ie you have to have a physical card🤔 Maybe it’s their current IT system!?

We walked around. The smells of all the good food wat amazing. Animals are welcome and treated for. If you visit George don’t miss it. Every Saterday 8:00-14:00. Go and enjoy breakfast

What a lovely market- well set put with plenty of seating. Numerous eateries, giving you plenty of choice. Great array of vendors from sweets, photography and paints, beautiful jeweler and jewelery, woodwork, wire work, etc.

My wife and I met and got to know very friendly people there. My wife bought some jewelry there. The saleswoman was very nice. After we got talking to her, she asked us why we looked so happy. I thought it was a strange question, but my wife replied that we were traveling to South Africa on our honeymoon. We got earrings as a gift with the jewelry. My wife was very surprised and accepted the gift with appreciation. In addition to jewelry, there are lots of different things to eat there. Like at a street food festival. However, you are more likely to find locals there than tourists.

This is such a big outdoor market. Many vendors from gifts, clothing, utensils, decor, clothing, hats, handbags, leather items to food, drinks, artisinals as well as fruit and veg. There is a lovely atmosphere with live music and gorgeous food smells guiding you as you walk through. There are tables and chairs as well as some with games where you can relax under a tree to have a quick Checkers game. There are lavatories for men and women. Parking is plenty. It is well worth the visit when you are in the area on a Saturday morning and the market closes at 2pm.

Compared to the other farmers markets in the area, this one is probably my least favourite. Surely they can make some improvements with the path ways, considering the frequent rains in George. The parking area that is closer to the market is closed off for some reason. Which means you have to walk quite the distance... in the rain. There are very few shops with home made products, not a great variety.

Great spot. Lots of food. Only reason I am giving it a 4 is because we waited long for our food and struggled to find a spot to eat it. But if you are happy to eat standing or on the move, then no worries. We especially loved the churro stand. Yum.

Lovely atmosphere. Market serving roosterkoek, burgers, pasta, eggs and bacon, Indian and Taiwanese. Lovely variety. And the desserts, omg. Also offering a whole crafters paradise and kiddies play area.

Beautiful gardens 🏡 Very well kept and very tidy. We paid 25 rand per person for entry ⛔ The gardens are not too big but it's still a enjoyable walk , with 2 big ponds that have BirdLife which u can see . Definitely worth a stop.

Beautiful walk with marked out pathways. Lots of benches to rest on & they all have interesting facts to read about. Great shaded grass areas for picnics. Birdwatching here is wonderful too!

Absolutely gorgeous! The view over the water was breathtaking. We sat on a bench eating our McDonald's takeout and just enjoyed the view. The bird life is abundant and there's beautiful flowers and plants everywhere. They also have restrooms and a nice green patch of grass for having a picnic or playing some ball. Very relaxing outing and only R20 pp to enter.

Beautifully made Wonki Ware products at great prices! Such a variety of selection - colours, shapes, sizes. A great bonus is the Pottery next door where you can make your own piece while having lunch.

Fabulous and quirky ceramics and a really great coffee shop and eatery - with kids playground. Hugely popular with the locals.

A beautiful scenic destination, with large open spaces and peaceful sounds of crickets and frogs. The only issue I have is that some residents do not put their dogs on a leash when walking them which could lead to bad experiences for kids. The security are not helpful either. Don’t think I’d buy here though

Guest house & host was amazing

Played my best ever round of golf here! Stunning course and not too pricey either. I really enjoyed the course layout (2 quarter-way houses) and the scenery was also beautiful. The greens were well kept and the fairways were good. The bunkers are very tricky to get out of, but luckily I didn't land in any of them. Definitely a must-play. I'll be back for sure.

Most beautiful estate! Loving the mountain views the fact they have the Springbuck in the estate. It's peaceful and they maintain the estate so beautifully. People are friendly. Absolutely the best estate in George!

Your pork ribs and chips special was an absolute treat - truly the best in town! We will definitely be returning for more. The estate is well looked after and developments are clearly seen in last 12 months since I did visit. Great surroundings. Two challenges. 1. Entry time into the golf estate can be improved. New methods can be explored. While keep8ng security good. 2. Those fast greens are a challenge to all. 😀

Decided to take my mom out for a nice day to show my appreciation, and we’ve both been wanting to go to The Pottery. The service was not the best, at first we struggled to get someone to assist us. Later on, our waitress walked past us on multiple occasions while our drinks were empty, but that happens- no problem. They had a big selection of drinks and food, so we didn’t mind waiting a bit. Fast forward to the food My food arrives and it’s not the complete order, I received a portion of my meal and by the time she came back so that I can ask if she perhaps forgot about the rest, my food was already cold. She brings the rest of my order, I start eating, only to find out the chicken strips in my bowl are completely raw on the inside. She takes it back and they give me the same bowl of food that was touched by raw chicken, with some cooked chicken added. The place has a good atmosphere, regardless of our experience. We enjoyed our drinks and the people are kind. Wouldn’t necessarily recommend the food.

The Pottery in George is such a hidden gem! The moment we walked in, we were blown away by the atmosphere and décor, it’s absolutely next level, with such a creative and welcoming feel. Even though we didn’t have food this time, the service was incredibly quick, friendly, and attentive, which really made the experience stand out. It’s one of those places where you can just relax, enjoy the surroundings, and soak in the charm. We’ll definitely be going back soon, and next time we’ll be sure to try the food too! Highly recommended for anyone visiting George who loves great service and stunning interiors.

A relaxing and spacious atmosphere with a wonderful play area for the children. Unfortunately at least 2 of our items were brought and had to be taken back because the order was wrong. The shakshuka was enjoyed by all, but my friend wished there could be more bread. The potter's breakfast was spur-level fine but I left feeling hungry which was disappointing for the price.

Had a great lunch while I was visiting a friend in George, such a beautiful place and my 18 month old had an absolute ball! Will definitely be back when we visit again!

I haven't been to such a nice and unique place of interest in years. You can enjoy the restaurant here, which is beautiful and upbeat, or you can eat while painting ur chosen pottery piece! For such a well-kept and unique place, I love how genuinely affordable it feels. I a small town typa area, it's definitely worth visiting and I even want to become a regular 🤣 Everyone was extremely inviting, easy to talk to, and friendly, especially our waiter. The food was great, and drinks were GREAT. Please try the white chocolate hot chocolate if ur a sweet tooth 😇💫 This place is also a dream for artists or creative people who don't usually find the time in their daily lives to do something artsy or creative.

after my previous, highly impressive visit to The Pottery, I had no choice but to return - the chicken tacos were calling my name, and who was I to deny their summons? However, this tale is not merely one of tacos, but of Jarrett, the hero who bore them to our table. This was no ordinary man, but a patron saint of hospitality, a creature of naught but patience and mirth. He fought off the cold and miserable weather of that morning with his offerings of easy laughter and warm company. Raise a glass, fellow folk, to the man (JARRETT) who turned a meal into a memory. Long may he reign, and long may the tacos flow.

Finally a Panarottis restaurant where the staff know the Tuesday specials on offer. Service from the waitress was exceptional. Pizza was great. Service = Happiness . My new place to visit when on the garden route trip. How a same franchise branch can differ within same town .

Very good panarottis. The staff are very friendly and professional. The food was decent and so was the coffee ☕ Pizzas 🍕 and pasta🍝are the main attraction. The only thing I say is some 🍕 are a bit too sauces and need less sauce but apart from that very decent . The prices are a bit extreme when you compare to actually Italian restaurants that we been to when on average the price for a large pizza 🍕 is 130 while here it was averaging around the 170 Mark. Apart from the 2 mentioned things it's definitely worth to bring the little ones as they have a play area upstairs.

Had their Pecan Nut Choc Fudge Pizookie.... Was sorely disappointed. After having had them in America, my fiancée was expecting a thick and warm cookie like dessert with a contrast of cold ice cream. When it arrived it was room temperature and as thin as paint. Honestly felt like we were scraping the bottom of a pot to just get at some of the cookie. Was by far not worth the price. Would recommend that you avoid it as a dessert option. At least the flavour (so far as we could taste the 3mm deep dessert) was fine. At least the service was pretty good for a busy holiday season day and the Salami, Caramelized Onions and Feta Bianco pizza was good. Which is sad that the dessert left a metaphorically bitter taste in our mouths. See photo attached with spoon for reference on the thickness of the dessert.

A brilliant stay. The hosts went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. Very unique decor and layout. I would definitely visit again.

Beautiful setting. Excellent rooms. Manageress is a real gem! Clean, comfy and peaceful. Within walking distance to various shops and restaurants!

1. The room was clean. 2. The receptionist is very frienldy and welcoming. 3. The bedding and towels are very white and clean. i was really impressed by this. 4. They have electric blankets on their beds which makes it so comfortable when it is cold. 5. The dustbin in my room does not have a foot pedal, you have to touch it with hands to open it. 6. There is a fireplace that is longer in use in the room that was offered to me. The fireplace has been filled with lots of old books. I was worried throughout the night of what might come out underneath those books. I strongly recommend the fireplace be removed completely. 7. There was a soap bottle in the shower and another one on the basin. Both of them do not dispense soap when you press them. I recommend they be replaced. 8. There is a floor carpet that has been used as a headboard. It is the first time I see something like this. I was worried about the frequency of washing that capert. 9. The room is over-decorated, there are too many vases, fans, cups & saucers for decorations, too many carperts, too many pillows, too much furniture. It is not easy to clean a room that has too many items & I suggest reducing items in the room to give some breathing space. 10. There are frogs in the garden that make "clicking" sounds 24 hours a day. I enquired about this noise during the day & I was told it is frogs. I took sleeping tablet to sleep but it did not work. I woke up about every hour due to the sounds from the frogs.

Visited George For the Week on Work Room was very cozy and Warm Loved the Electric Blanket. Stayed at Onyx RM4 Perfect Location 5 Minute walk to Main Road. Definitely Recommended for a Short Stay. Book in Lady was Very Polite and Kind.

Such a beautiful place. We loved it here. Great location. Stayed in rooms # 1 (oolala), #5, #3. We stayed off and on over a 2 week period, when our schedule permitted. The staff are accommodating, the house cleaner was so helpful, and it is a wonderful location. King, beds that are firm, in all the rooms we stayed in. Netflix. WiFi. The decor is heavy renaissance. Beautiful wood.

We had a lovely time. Everything is clean and and comfortable living place. We come threw every year and will continue to do so.

I have to leave a revue here. I hav been in Melkbos looking after my ill daughter and was so very disappointed in the Mugg & Bean I Table Bay Mall. I wish I had taken a photograph of the toasted chicken Mayo I ordered. My whole experience there was terrible. WELL, I came to George to service my car and have come to The Mugg & Bean in Mall. It has really blown me away, from the front of house to the food. My chicken Mayo is really the best I have had in a very long time. Coffee is hot and just right. Good on you guys, you have restored my faith in my old Mugg & Bean days.

We always buy a chocolate chip muffin. But lately there are maybe 10 choc chips. The muffin was always covered in choc chips but not anymore. This should be sold as a vanilla muffin.

Thanks so much for excellent service (again) from Sotto (Jeronavan). He really goes out of his way to please his customers and we appreciate his outstanding service to us.

Your usual mugg and bean, in a great place in the garden route mall. Food is always pleasant and so are the staff. Nice to sit out side in summer , normal mug and bean menu. Overall worth a drop by if in the mall.

We had such great service at Mugg&Bean, Garden Route Mall. Our server, Sotto, went out of his way to make our visit great!

Don't want to say to much. Check the photos, I could do better myself, this looks so plain and unappetizing. Super dissapointed. Not to mention the bones I found in my burger patty yesterday! Atleast the staff and manager is friendly.
