Broome in 5 days

If you only have 5 days to spend in Broome, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Broome is a small coastal town famed for its striking contrast of red pindan cliffs, white sand and turquoise water at Cable Beach. Once a global center of the pearling industry, it still showcases this heritage in its historic Chinatown and local pearl shops. Visitors use Broome as a gateway to the Kimberley, with scenic flights, camel rides on the beach and boat tours to nearby natural attractions. Its clear dry-season skies and dramatic tides also make for memorable sunsets and coastal scenery.
With favorites like Absolute Ocean Charters, Town Beach, and Broome Courthouse Markets, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Mangrove Hotel and Kimberley Coffee Company & Online Store so you can get the best taste of Broome while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

What a great place Matso's is. Went to celebrate my wife's upcoming birthday 🎂 and we were not disappointed. Great WA wine and the Lamb ribs were fantastic. Big shout out to Rob the Irishman for looking after us..

We got a 5:30 booking for dinner. We sat out on the Deck under the fans. The food was really nice, especially the smoky crocodile kebab. We also ordered the mango beer chicken, the crispy tofu, prawn croquettes, the cheese platter, the chocolate brownie and a citrus crème brûlée. We also got jug of Hit the Toad Lager and the Ginger beer. Really helpful and efficient staff.
Andrew — Google review
Great lunch/ dinner and a nice Italian waiter. He told us a lot of history and helped choosing our lunch. We drunk mango bear and Kimberly lager! Tasted excellent. I had crocodile kebab with tasted great!

Visited Matso’s Broome Brewery and it was a lively spot with huge seating capacity—perfect for groups or families. However, it can get extremely crowded on weekends, so booking ahead is definitely recommended. I started with the Tropical Heat from the tasting paddle and their in-house non-alcoholic ginger beer, which was refreshing and full of flavour,a great way to kick things off. Alongside that, the garlic bread made for a nice entrée. For mains, I had the tiger prawns and grilled barramundi served with chips and salad, and finished with a chocolate brownie for dessert. The food was fresh, well-portioned, and full of flavour,no complaints there. The only downside was the service. First the wait-staff forgot my drink and then next it took over 25 minutes between receiving drinks and food, and the staff could have been more attentive. That wait was a bit disappointing. That said, the atmosphere was great, with good music and a relaxed vibe. Overall, it’s a great spot for food and drinks.
Animesh S — Google review
Our waiter, Nicolas (from Italy), was excellent. Explained how everything worked, was at our table regularly to check whether we needed anything and was happy to take photos for us. His hospitality skills were first class. The beers were good and the food was excellent. We all enjoyed the mains we ordered and the small plate of salt and pepper squid was the best we have had for a long time. The lemon creme brulee was also yummy.
Deirdre G — Google review
Couldn't fault anything. Waiting staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was great, I had the mango beer chicken. The beer tasting paddle, brrome time was perfect so you could try a little of each beer 👍

Flea & Street Markets
Broome Courthouse Markets is just one of the many attractions in this Kimberley paradise. Visitors can explore 130-million-year-old dinosaur footprints at Gantheaume Point, encounter Australia's largest crocodiles and other wildlife at Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park and Animal Refuge, and admire local art at Broome Art Galleries. The laid-back Broome Brewery offers craft beer and meals, while boat cruises provide opportunities to explore the Dampier Peninsula and Buccaneer Archipelago.
A must-visit in Broome! The Broome Courthouse Markets are an absolute gem and a perfect way to spend a Saturday (or Sunday) morning. Located in the shade of majestic boab trees, the market has a really laid-back, tropical vibe that reflects the spirit of Broome. You'll find a wide variety of stalls offering handmade jewelry, local art, Aboriginal crafts, clothing, and all sorts of artisan products. The food options are diverse — from local delicacies to international street food. Whether you're after a fresh smoothie, a curry puff, some bush tucker, or a homemade jam, there’s something tasty for everyone. There are plenty of shaded spots and benches where you can sit, eat, and soak up the atmosphere. Live music often adds to the charm, with local artists playing laid-back tunes. It's not just a market — it’s a cultural experience, full of friendly locals, creative energy, and unique finds. Definitely one of the highlights of Broome!

A wonderful array of local crafts and other professional goods as well. Photography, clothes, tie dye, jewellery, food. Set in lovely surrounds and warm weather. Couldn't have been better.
Carol M — Google review
Had a nice cappuccino with an extra shot and some yummy thai tucker, brought a second hand book and Gail brought a nice floppy hat
Donald P — Google review
The sweetest markets, great diversity of products, a local showcase of incredible talents. Delicious food selection and coffee. I left with 3 stunning watercolour fish pictures and a sweet necklace. Enjoy ☀️
Rebecca F — Google review
Nice selection of food trucks and stalls. Some of the vendors also have shops in town you can visit during the week. Everyone is friendly. We even had some live music the time we were there. Check online for which days they're on (Saturday and/or Sunday) depending if it's wet or dry season.
Peter V — Google review
Dine-in: Spanish omelette (with chorizo and cheese). Iced cold brew lattes. Acai bowl with granola and fruits. Spanish omelette was delicious, very cheesy, though could have a bit more chorizo. Coffee was very good and the acai bowl hit the spot in a hot day Takeaway: chicken pad thai, red curry with rice. Took these to Coconut Wells and had it for lunch after floating in the river mouth. Both were amazingly delicious. Super recommended
Igor B — Google review
A must see in Broome. Traditional carvings in Boab seeds available - must pay in cash. There is a good collection of foods and drinks jewellery and clothing stalls. Many of the shops in Chinatown have a stall here so don’t open their actual stall while market is on. The shaved ice drink was delicious !

In the vibrant food scene of Broome, Western Australia, The Good Cartel stands out as a popular dining spot with a laid-back atmosphere. Located just a short drive from Broome Caravan Park, this local haunt is known for serving up top-notch coffee and delicious burgers. Guests can enjoy their meals in the outdoor dog-friendly seating areas under shady umbrellas while sipping on refreshing slushies.
Used the 'drive through (a guy sitting in a little tent)'. Delicious food, we ordered a cheese burger and a Reuben sandwich... both were absolutely fantastically tasty.

Very tasty breakfast! We ordered the bacon and egg roll, maple bagel and eggs bene burger - all were made well and were really nice! The only issue I had was that the eggs bene burger was too small - I wanted more! (It was definitely smaller than the bacon and egg burger and very similar price). Inside seating available (mainly lounges) and quick service (drive thru also available). I would visit again - the bacon and egg roll was a favourite, the onion was a delicious part!
Lydia P — Google review
I was really craving a burger but unfortunately they were sold out of the vegan chicken burger, so our server recommended the vegan sushi bowl. I’m not usually a massive fan of sushi bowls but it was amazing!! So flavoursome and fresh. Highly recommend.

Needed to kill a few hours before my flight and stopped here to enjoy coffee and a delicious bowl of granola! Service was wonderful and coffee delicious!

Good Cartel offers a more hip and sophisticated take on fast food. The vibe is modern and relaxed with fresh and flavourful meals served quickly but with attention to quality. Perfect for a casual bite that still feels a little special. Highly recommended!

Reuben sandwich and fried chicken burger. Both pretty good.

We stopped by for a few visits as this is a great grab and go cafe. Everything you order comes in little takeaway containers and they have a drive through area as well as outdoor seating. The mocha frappe, fresh frozen orange juice, breakfast bowls and bagels are a few of mine and the locals favourites. Their coffee is also decently delicious.

I love Good Cartel! I was born in Broome and grew up eating such incredible food but the last couple of times I've been back - I've gotten Good Cartel more than anything else. The Banoffee Shake has become part of my morning ritual and my gf loves the cold brew. I haven't ventured much further than the cheeseburger and the chicken burger but that's because they are SO GOOD! Staff are always super friendly and the in car service is elite and a meal will cost you no more than hitting up Chicken Treat anyways. Keep up the great work Good Cartel. We are also quite fond of Dusty

Definitely the best brunch in Broome. This time I went there for brunch and had a panko with bacon, it was astonishing! All the ingredients are super fresh and they offer a great mix of flavors that makes the dish very interesting and balanced Once again definitely recommend

Did the ‘Feed me’ option with my partner and I. Cannot begin to explain how amazing it was. From the great quality customer service to the food and the atmosphere, truly such a local gem in Broome. The food and drinks were reasonably priced and the serving sizes were huge. They also tried their best to accomodate my allergy and dietary restrictions which is always amazing. Will definitely be back!

Food was amazing. So fresh and tasty. I've been lucky enough to go twice in a week. The place was super busy on the Saturday and staff were under the pump but they were so friendly and helpful still, was nice to see. Thank you can't wait to come back.

The Aarli has to be the best restaurant experience in Broome. Service is fantastic, staff are bubbly and attentive, all while you are surrounded by lush foliage. You almost forget you are in the middle of town. Each dish tried was something delectable and not yet found anywhere else in Broome. The Thai like fusion was the most refreshing I have had in Broome. This restaurant is a must try!
Michael B — Google review
Went for dinner. Food was absolutely fantastic. We had dumplings, sliders, coconut meatballs, steam buns, pork belly bites from the shared plates menu. Service was slow, took 30 minutes to get 2 cocktails. They were short staffed apparently. I would go again to try the breakfast menu.
Mrs D — Google review
We really enjoyed the Aarli at all times! The service by the brown eyes and long hair waiter was the warmest in town! We went back and would go back again if we're back in Broome. The coffee & breakky just amazing, quick servixe despite of being flat out! Juice nice and fresh fruits! 100% must visit!

Service and ambience was good .Mango Daiquiri was OK. I had a papaya salad that was fresh but lacked seasoning. The salt and pepper tofu was a block of quality tofu but lacked Seasoning and flavour .

I LOVE this restaurant. We go all the time and can't fault it! Be sure to try the specials, I'm not telling you my favourite in fear it will sell out. Hands down best food at any time of day, with great drinks to accompany. Try the catering too if you get a chance, you will not be disappointed!!

Nestled in Broome near the bay, Mangrove Hotel offers contemporary rooms and suites with water views. The hotel features two outdoor pools, a fitness center, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Conveniently located near the town center and airport, this 4-star hotel provides comfortable accommodations and has garnered excellent user ratings.
Great location, great property, great service!! Bright, big room and bed, superbly clean and comfortable. Also had a great dining experience at The Bay Club, which is part of the Mangrove Hotel in Broome. The location is spot on,right on the waterfront with a beautiful view, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. I tried the popcorn chicken, corn on the cob with spicy butter, and the truffle mushroom bianca pizza from the specials menu. Every dish was full of flavour, well cooked, and served in generous portions. The pizza, in particular, was a standout rich, earthy, and perfectly balanced. Definitely a place worth checking out if you're in Broome and want to enjoy good food in a scenic setting.

We did not stay at the hotel - only had lunch at The Bay Club restaurant. We were able to snag a shaded table on the outdoor balcony facing Roebuck Bay. Food, cider and beer on tap were quite good. The atmosphere was relaxed with a good mix of couples (mostly older) and families. The highlight is the view over the stunning turquoise colours of Roebuck Bay. Many birds were, visible even at midday, and we could see the tide coming in. You carry your own drinks back to the table, but food came out pretty quick and service was friendly. We walked in on a weekday at 12 pm; moderate crowd and not everyone could get a shaded table (it was very sunny and warm). I suspect it would be very crowded for sunset.

We stayed at the mangrove as we were holding our wedding reception on the bay club lawn located at the same hotel. Myself and my partner were blown away with the mangrove team. Their attentiveness and attention to detail was second to none. The venue is stunning and the food catered for was brilliant. A special thankyou to Gloria the events manager for making our night a special one..your team were brilliant. If you are holding an event or just looking for a place to stay I highly recommend the mangrove

We had a pleasant stay at the Mangrove Hotel. Unfortunately, our requested upgrade had not been arranged. Then again, these things happen and the room we had, was an excellent room: well-equipped with very comfy beds. We dined once and that was a good experience. Just one remark: we realize that the end of the season is approaching but it shouldn’t be that obvious. On the outside, it all needed some more cleaning. But to conclude: great time at a lovely location with great staff!
Karl M — Google review
Looking to celebrate our engagement, we booked a 4 night stay and had an amazing time. Emma organised bar cards and a champagne on arrival. The little things like that really stand out and can make everlasting memories. Big thanks to the whole Mangrove team and Emma for making our stay great!
Christopher S — Google review
Don't waste your time with the cocktail menu unless you want a glass of what could easily be mistaken for Cottees cordial for $50. Comical really. Mixologist is definitely not the case here... stick to beer and wine atleast you know what you're getting. Asked for a Long Island as the menu states to please request cocktails as you desire. "Mixologist" was happy to make, however it was nothing other than syrup and a single spirit base. Best not to offer such drinks at premium price if you cant provide anything other than syrup. Even the cola was a syrup. So disappointing... if stations on the Gibb River Road can manage a decent long island there's no reason you guys cant.

Broome Historical Museum is a living slice of the town's history, showcasing a comprehensive visual display of its past. The museum features artifacts, photographs, and a sailmaker's shed that offer insight into Broome's diverse influences. Visitors can also explore nearby attractions such as Gantheaume Point with 130-million-year-old dinosaur footprints, the Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park and Animal Refuge, Broome Art Galleries, and the laid-back Broome Brewery for craft beer and meals.
I have attended a number of museums conferences over the years, and Broome Historical Museum always seemed to have an innovative project on the go. I finally got to visit a couple of weeks ago, and I thought it was brilliant. It actually tells the story of Broome ( unlike some other museums, which don't seem focussed on highlighting their local area history). Congratulations on an excellent museum, and a nod from UNESCO for preserving and restoring the sailmakers shed.
Mary H — Google review
We can understand why this is regarded as one of the finest regional museums in Australia. It is located in three heritage buildings including the old Customs House and the very unique Sailmaker’s Shed. The museum is full of amazing resources and gives a comprehensive picture of the various aspects of Broome with a particular emphasis on those pivotal shaping events such as the pearling industry, World War II air raids, the multicultural nature of the history and a reasonable coverage of the local Indigenous people’s. The Museum website is quite informative and we found the volunteers to be incredibly helpful and informed. There is so much here that it is important to set a bit of time aside to appreciate all that it has to offer.
Ross D — Google review
Well worth a visit when travelling through Broome. There is an abundance of history in Broome and the museum provides a wealth of information on topics such as: local indigenous culture and hardships post arrival of settlers, opal farming, impact of war on the town and it’s inhabitants. Also interesting display and information on dinosaur fossils and footprints found in the area. Well with the entrance fee, very friendly staff. I recommend allowing a minimum one hour for a visit. Nice outside sheltered area if you need a rest.
Angela D — Google review
There is a lot of history here about the local pearl industry, something that I was not aware of when visiting Broome. There is some good WWII history on the Japanese attacks on Broome and how the war affected the Pearl industry. There are some restored parts from recovered aircraft and pearl luggers shot down or sunk during the war. Overall worth the $12 entry.

What a cracker this museum is! It's grey nomad season here in Australia and if you're schmoozing around Broome make sure you pay a visit to this fascinating, professional and informative museum. Kudos to all the people working and volunteering here, you do a superb job of preserving a unique history. Cheers. #bettybird

While staying with my son and family in Port Hedland last year, I tried and very much enjoyed my coffee which he had made from freshly roasted coffee beans which he receives with his mthly subscription to The Kimberley Coffee Co. On my return home to Brisbane I subsequently purchased my own coffee machine and started a mthly subscription for these coffee beans. I’ve been totally impressed with my regular order of freshly roasted coffee beans. I’m also very grateful for the prompt service which I’ve received from Mark and his staff to allow me to continue enjoying the best coffee. Thank you Mark.

Thought we were in luck being in Broome on a Saturday and getting to grab a coffee from here. Unfortunately we thought it was very average for the price. 2 regular coffees with alternative milk for $17 is far too steep. Considering this isn’t a shop too so you’d think the overheads might be reduced I’d have to question the price on this one

Great coffee and service. Also picked up the gluten free brownie. A good brekky snack to pair with a latte. Very reasonable priced.

Indian restaurant
Little Indian Restaurant has quickly become a favorite among locals in Broome, offering phenomenal authentic Indian cuisine. The restaurant takes pride in using the best quality ingredients and preparing traditional Indian dishes with care. Portion sizes are generous, and the homemade masalas and fresh herbs add to the authenticity of the flavors. With friendly and attentive service, it's a great spot for those craving delicious Indian food prepared by international chefs.
Enjoyed the meal here. Loved the goat curry which was so flavorful and went well with naan. The chicken one was a little sweet for me. We had three flavors of naan, all turning out delicious. The entrees were nothing special though. The vibe in the outdoor area was nice.

What a find! 🙌 Super fast, friendly service, and the food was bloody good. A must visit if you're in Broome — 5 stars friends. - Charles W.

We ate here while holidaying in broome for a few days. Food was great and nice outdoor seating area. Food can be cooked to your liking - mild, medium or hot. Nice drinks list as well. The restaurant was busy, but service was good and friendly. Would highly recommend.

This is one of the tastiest Indian restaurants I've ever been to, anywhere. Although it can be a little pricey, it is more delicious than Indian restaurants of similar price in Syd, Melb, or Perth (I haven't been to one in any other city that would be worth noting). Highly recommend this restaurant

We didn’t want to cook on our last night in Broome and had a hankering for Curry. Little Indian Restaurant was bustling every night so we ordered takeaway to take back to The Billi where we were staying. Butter chicken, palak paneer, paratha, rice, pappadums and raita is our standard order. Price is comparable to Perth prices and we had plenty leftover for lunch for two the next day. Curries were flavoursome and absolutely delicious. Next time would dine-in in the open air. Perfect for a big group of friends.

Order Goat Curry-very tender, Chicken Biryani-normal, Garlic Naan yummy, also a Lentil Soup for takeaway, price is reasonable but it only open dinner.

Ordered a take away vindaloo tonight. Got home with it. It wasn’t vindaloo. Not sure what it was. Tasted OK but really wanted a vindaloo. A little process into their service would help.
Andrew H — Google review
Ordered takeaway and they stacked so much food into one paper brown bag. Carried it into my caravan and the bag blew at the bottom - curry going all over my floor and losing $135 worth of food. Floor is also now stained. Rang to provide feedback regarding bags and got told they had heard this had happened to a few other customers. No response from manager and no credit offered. Can’t rate the food as couldn’t eat any. Naan tasted good.

Seafood restaurant
Sydney Cove Oyster Bar is a casual waterfront restaurant that recently relocated after 33 years at Circular Quay. While their specialty is oysters, they also offer shareable seafood dishes made with some of Australia's finest ingredients. It's a great spot to meet friends or unwind while enjoying the stunning views. The prices are more for the location than the food, but their fresh seafood platters come highly recommended.
Atmosphere perfect. Mood perfect. Views perfect. Outside but not cold at all. One of best Sydney oysters and a bowl of olives. White wine at $54 but worth sipping there with great Darling Harbour views. All menu priced costly but not too costly. They should pay rent too. Highly recommended!!!
Fiona K — Google review
You might need to reserve or wait in line but the wines, food and view are worthy! Try the exotic Tasmanian white wine flavor combination with oysters enjoying the down under sunset. Other delicious dishes and wines surely available. Very busy so the service might get slow here and there.
Carlos R — Google review
Stunning view of the harbour bridge. Food is a little pricey but expected given the location. Oysters were fresh and creamy. Classic oyster shooters were good. Tasty prawn pasta. Brusque but fairly efficient service.

Wow! Just wow what an experience! One of the best meals I've had in ages Broomes oyster bar was beautiful. Great little spot beautiful restaurant amazing food! If I go back to Broome I'll be booking well in advance worth every dollar we spent there. Highly recommended. Amazing food, fantastic service, friendly staff and what a vibe.

Best food. Took my mrs out for anniversary dinner. Loved it. Staff were friendly. Good choice price was good. Could do with more quantity per dish but no complaints here. Thank you for the perfect night

Amazing location with mediocre food and staff The location is fantastic, right by the harbour and romantic ambience from sunset to night. Noise level is quiet, so it's a good place if you are looking for somewhere less rowdy. I must say the Shellfish platter is overpriced not worth the buy imho. Food is okay, not bad but not good either. You would definitely come here for the views and the atmosphere only.

My wife decided to have oysters here on September 24, 2018. The sitting area was quite cool and we ordered hot chocolate and later asked to have the heater turned on. The oysters were fresh and delicious and the view, despite the cloudy sky, was great!

Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park is an animal refuge showcasing crocodile feeding shows and museum exhibits, as well as housing other unique Australian wildlife such as kangaroos, emus and snakes. The communication from the park was excellent, even notifying visitors of a 10-minute delay in pick-up time. The driver was lively and engaging while the guide provided an entertaining and highly informative experience for all guests. Witnessing the immense size and strength of these magnificent creatures was truly awe-inspiring.
We’ve all seen crocodiles, right? Not like this, we haven’t. Here are crocodiles - big, little, salt water, fresh water, old, young - waiting for their next meal. There are some cool parrots and wild dogs thrown in to add some variety. This was definitely worth the afternoon and exceeded expectations.

A must do tour for all ages. Fascinating to see these impressive creatures up close and we got the chance to hold some babies (amazing Feeling). And we must not forget the guide he was pretty funny.

What an excellent place to visit. Malcolm Douglas was an iconic early film maker of the Kimberley region and crocodile 🐊 Hunter.. His legacy is this park full a big crocs and other Aussie wildlife A must see if you are coming to Broome.
Michael B — Google review
Possibly our favourite experience in Broome. The entrance to the park is already fun, we got to hold a baby crocodile which makes the ticket price very reasonable because that was already an experience on its own. The park is in good condition and the tour guide was very fun and informative and has a way with people, especially kids that ask a ton of questions. 10/10 would recommend

Streeters Jetty in Broome is a captivating destination that beautifully blends history with stunning natural scenery. Once a bustling hub for pearl dealers in the late 19th century, this jetty now serves as a picturesque spot to witness the dramatic tidal shifts of the region. Located just a stone's throw from Chinatown, it offers visitors an opportunity to explore lush mangroves and enjoy breathtaking views of Dampier Creek.
Very historic place and it is one end of Broome’s Jetty to Jetty walk. Streeter’s Jetty is heritage structure situated near Chinatown and was originally built for the pearling industry in the late 1800s. It’s served as a key departure point during Brooke’s pearling heyday. It is now part of the self-guided “Jetty to Jetty” heritage trail, a route highlighting Broome’s multicultural and indigenous heritage with interpretive signage and audio guides available via the Jetty to Jetty app. I have included photos of the other end of the trail at Town Beach.
Ross D — Google review
Great place with some backbone history in the making of brooms’ beginning days. Best time in my opinion to view the jetty is when the tide is high it’s a nice site with all the mangroves and wildlife.
Kyle S — Google review
Great place to view at low tide...see the crabs and lizards and whatever else is visible in the mudflats and mangroves. Then view nightie...what a difference!
Jan P — Google review
Good spot to visit see the tidal changes, low tide see all the wildlife in the mud
Isaac — Google review
As other, reviews will note, only worth visiting at high tide above 8 meters. The rest of the time, its a dump with trolleys and rubbish thrown into the mangroves. Its about 60 meters long and located in the town centre, so can be done as part of other sightseeing
Priyesh S — Google review
If you're interested in the history of Broome, this is one of the spots that you must visit. You are greeted with an information board and don't have to pay a cent to walk on the jetty. It's right next to town so everything is within reach.
Dolchi — Google review
Unfortunately at this time of year it was dry, no blue water down the Jetty.
Sloane G — Google review
Great spot to watch the high and low tides come in and out during each day. Make sure you check what time the tides change and the times do differ each day. You can jump on to a website to see tidal times for each day or pick up a street/Broome map from the tourist info or car hire place and they have the times for each day.. It's such an amazing thing to witness how fast the tides change and the beautiful clear water but kind of milky-green colour. Only bad thing we found id there are plenty of tourists there at the end of the jetty taking pictures so try and make it there first..

Myself and my partner were met with amazing service from when we booked in. We dined in the Pearlers restaurant where we both shared a few sides. There was bingo going on which staff let us know we could join in even though we didn’t book. Have to say we really enjoyed our time and stay at the Roebuck bay hotel. Thanks to the staff. We will be back.

Although we waited over an hour for our meal, it was absolutely delicious. I had the mushroom linguine which was beautiful and hubby had the eye fillet which was cooked to perfection. Staff are all super friendly. Prices are a little high but it's Broome so expected. All in all, no complaints, thanks Pearlers!

Terrible service and poorly informed menu. Food wasn't great but fairly priced if you know how to order . If you order the tradie lunch make sure you specify instead of just ordering what's on the menu . Family's clearly not welcome as the music got turned right up as soon as everyone sat down .

The rooms are average, the location is good but the meal service is crap. If you have an issue with the meal then simply shut up and buy another crap meal... McDonald's up the road offers a better service
Tony L — Google review
The potential for a 5 star meal here it’s quite possible, but last night the staff or the system failed to a degree…. We got the cheesy garlic bread, it was nicely toasted, but o don’t believe they remembered the garlic.. very bland, This came out after the mains We also got 2 steaks, with chips and veg, but when the staff member brought them out, they didn’t know which was which as they were ordered to be cooked differently. The staff member then took them any for approximately 6-8 minutes. When they came back, the meal wasn’t very hot, and steak being chucked on chips just makes the chips soggy. The meal had a nice flavour, and the eye fillet was a really good size, and texture was great. It was by far one of the better steaks I’ve had, but with the meal being cool, and the back and forth let the team down. If we are back in Broome, I would consider coming here again, but when you spend over $110 for 2 people I do expect the service to be better.
Hilux — Google review
I gave this place 3 stars Food was good, can't fault that. Service was a bit off, didn't get our drinks until after entree and half way through our mains, after we asked, even then the lady struggled to understand what we requested. Now I understand this is a pub but I wasn't to happy sitting next to 4 backpackers dropping F bombs every second word around my 7 year old daughter, and then to make it even more uncomfortable they were all vaping next to us within 1 metre of an opening to the bar which is illegal, this included a staff member aswell, so overall Food was good, atmosphere was average and service was average.

Enjoyed the unique experience. Children had bean bags to lie on to enjoy the movie. You could also stargaze and see planes flying overhead. We could bring our own dinner to enjoy at the movies. Need to secure your own transport beforehand as buses would have stopped service when the movies ended.

Watched a movie at this historic theatre. It’s a really once in a lifetime experience watching a current film in a rustic setting. Seats are hammock type seating, pretty comfortable but a bit hard to get up after a couple of hours of sitting. Sound system was a bit patchy but you can still hear most of the conversation. The interesting part was the grass patch in front of the screen, which was very popular with kids. They were literally screaming in with a bean bag in tow and grabbed their favourite spots there. Refreshment kiosk has a popcorn stand and alcoholic drinks available too! It’s right next to the ticket booth, so you grab the food before going to any seat that you like! There’s a visitor book in the theatre too, so you can leave your entry before leaving!

Went to watch the conjuring at 8 pm. One of the best and unique cinema experiences! Affordable and we'll worth it. Lovely crowd made it a bit less scary luckily! Ps was a little depressed after tasting the popcorn and not tasting sweeth sugar and butter. But better for the health!

My daughter took us to the cinema while we were visiting from England. I have not been to an outdoor cinema before and it was a lovely experience. We saw helicopters flying and a plane which meant sometimes we could not quite hear the sound. The seats were like deck chairs and they provided pillows and cushions for our use. They have toilets and a bar, you can also buy pop corn.

This cafe sells nice food and a good range of teas and coffees. It is also open quite early therefore good for those out for an early morning walk. Dropped in for brunch at Dragonfly Café while exploring Broome, and it absolutely lived up to its reputation. The ambience is warm and inviting, with a relaxed vibe that makes it a perfect spot to unwind. It's ideally located right in the heart of town, making it super convenient for locals and travellers alike. I tried the smashed avocado with hashbrown and eggs on the side, as well as the salmon benedict, both were absolutely delicious. You can really taste the freshness of the produce, and the flavours were perfectly balanced. The presentation was spot on too. Coffee is a big deal for me, and they nailed it. I ordered mine with an extra shot, and it was just the right strength, bold, smooth, and satisfying. Highly recommend this spot for brunch lovers looking for quality food, great coffee, and a chilled out setting.

Top food and coffee, and the most friendly and helpful staff. We had brekkie burgers, one with a runny egg and the other a HARD egg done to perfection! Thank you team 🙏 When you go, have a look at the amazing artwork on the wall. It looks like a river scene done in shells, but have a closer look.

My partner & I enjoyed 3 brunches at this lovely cafe. The sizes of our first 2 were more than sufficient. The sizes were far less on our 3rd. The food was excellent and well served. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Green Mango Cafe, and I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The first thing that caught my attention was the warm and inviting atmosphere of the cafe, which instantly made me feel welcomed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and promptly seated by a friendly staff member. Throughout my meal, the service was attentive and personalized, making me feel like a valued guest. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Now, let's talk about the food – simply put, it was outstanding. Every dish that I tried was bursting with flavor and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I particularly loved their signature vegan breakfast and mango smoothie, which was a perfect balance of sweet and tangy flavors. I will definitely be returning to Green Mango Cafe in the near future.

The smashed avocado was nothing like it had been before... much smaller in portion and less ingredients, not as yum any more☹️ Smoothies were not even cold and we had to ask for ice in order to drink it... Disappointed Had the Mexican burger and the mango pash smoothie. Feel like the burger was a little dry and not very “Mexican” flavored, and the shoestring fries were pretty dry. The smoothie was yummy though. My friend didn’t particularly enjoy her kebab wrap as well.. Might give the coffee a try next time.

The food took 2 hours to come out. I order bacon and eggs and only got eggs, no bacon. The eggs were cold and felt like they had been cooked yesterday. Please don’t go, waste of time and money and you will lose your sanity.

Ordered the Vegan Poke Bowl with “grilled vegetables”. The vegetables were frozen mixed vegetables that, apparently, had been heated on a grill. For the price I expected more. The 2 falafels were very hard, impossible to cut (so picked them up) and the edamame was only just defrosted. The vege burger (vegan) was good though and came with chips which were good.

Would NOT waste my time and money here again..service was extremely slow and when asking staff about our order was told they were understaffed ,which is fair enough I thought,at first. But observing slow acting staff soon changed my mind! When food came out there was no apology for the lateness and my fish was over done and burger bun was burnt in spots 🤮 Definitelynot worth the money paid for it.. My advice is DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!

Absolutely delicious Indonesian food. Great vegan options. I had the vegan gado gado which was healthy and tasty. My husband had beef rendang which he also loved. Service was fast and very friendly. Highly recommend.

Went here as the reviews were amazing and it didn’t disappoint!! 🏆 Dewa was an awesome host, funny and attentive. Staff were amazing! 🤩 Most authentic Balinese we have had in Australia. The satay chicken was the best we have had. Lemongrass nasi goreng, DMK chef special (chicken coconut curry) and beef ribs were all fabulous. We will be back again! 🫶🏻😜

I had the lamb shanks earlier at this restau and wow!! Absolutely to die for! The meat was so tender it just fell off the bone, and every bite was bursting with rich, authentic flavour. The Gulai sauce was perfectly balanced not too heavy, not too light just right to complement the dish without overpowering it. The spices, fresh chili, and sides tied everything together beautifully. This is hands down my new favourite dish here in Broome. If you’re looking for something hearty, full of flavour, and truly satisfying, you need to try the lamb shanks. Highly recommend!!

The Runway Bar & Restaurant is a fun and friendly place with good food. It's perfect for a casual meal or drinks with friends. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the chorizo and camembert balls were delicious. The male barman was very helpful, and he was very apologetic when meals were mixed up. There are TVs to watch the footy in the bar, which makes it an ideal spot to take your family or friends for a night out.
Amazing breakfast and coffee. Would recommend for brunch. Nice setting with indoor and outdoor tables in the heart of town, like the name says it is in line with the Broome runway which makes it a bit loud but great if you like looking at planes.

Nice little bar. Steak was good but didn't think much of the chorizo and camembert balls. Would have been better with some plum sauce instead of tzatziki perhaps. The male barman was very helpful and very apologetic when our meals were mixed up. A couple of televisions to watch the footy too.

Friendly staff , big air con area inside and large outside area for people watching ,food is fantastic and loads of onstreet parking plus there is a bar to grab a coldie on a hot afternoon.... 10 outta 10 in my books .... Back again and enjoying a good coffee on the comfy new seating in the shade , relaxing chilled and spacious atmosphere , get a pic of a unique feature of Broome where planes fly in directly over the town .

Nearly a 45 minute wait for a “big breakfast” and had to ask where my chocolate milkshake was then I was handed a mango smoothie instead and when I finally received my chocolate milk shake it tasted like it was just all milk poured in to a plastic cup with no chocolate flavour at all

Service was good. As others say, food was great and generous portion. Only thing I would say is that the menu could be more descriptive. I had Garlic King prawns with rice but there was no mention of the heavy white sauce. Although lovely I'd have ordered something different having known. Maybe just ask and check if something like this would bother you!

It was rather quiet when we had dinner there on a Thursday. We weren't sure if fish and chips was a good choice, having read reviews elsewhere. But we enjoyed ours - the fish was beatifully cooked and the salad was a proper salad, not the usual excuse for one. Service was very good.

Just had one of the best feeds I have ever had in Broome to this date. I've been here 20 years and never have I had such good food and service! This place is by far the best establishment in Broome and always has the best prices with the best tasting and filling food you will ever have. If you want a great dining experience If it's just a lunch for 2 or a dinner for 8, they will always blow you away! Will be returning regurly!

Restaurant
Mr Saigon is a popular Vietnamese restaurant located in the heart of Chinatown in Broome. The menu features a variety of traditional Vietnamese dishes such as beef or chicken pho, crispy spring rolls, banh mi, banh xeo, and Bun bo Hue. Vegetarian-friendly options are also available including tofu dishes. The restaurant offers both dine-in and take-away options with fresh and authentic cuisine made from the freshest ingredients.
Lovely dinner spot in Broome. Crowd comes in quickly during dinner time as there are limited options during this time in the old town. We had chicken pho and a beef vermicelli for dinner. The pho soup was really delectable! Rich flavour but not overpowering, light to the tongue. Chicken was pretty tender too! The beef vermicelli was generous in the meat and the seasoning was just the right spicy for me. Lots of other options available too! Drinking water is offered complimentary to customers

I was eager to try the local Vietnamese in Broome. Surprisingly, the menu catered and accommodated for vegan — hooray! 👏 I ordered the stir fried veggies, rice, and bun. Ehhhhh.... 🫳 Cosi cosi Listen, it wasn't authentic, wasn't great, wasn't bad. Would I be eager to come back? No. But hey, vegan beggars can't be choosers. Thanks for accommodating Mr Saigon 🙏 - Charles W.

We were looking for a particular Chinese restaurant, but couldn't find it, but we came across Mr Saigon. It was a busy Saturday night, but they found a table for two outside. We ordered two dishes to share and a couple of beers. The food was excellent as was the beer. Service was good and the staff were very friendly. Very enjoyable evening. They have a good menu and we will be back again.

Both on the phone and face to face Fabulous service from Elaine , Martine,Helen, Shine and the gang. They were so patient and i did not feel at all hurried . They helped me plan my accomodation and tours -and even helped me get discounts. Seniors discounts available!

Only appeared to be interested in providing advice on tours in which they make money (Note: they charge a booking fee for booking tours through them, which can iften be done directly through the tpir provider for cheaper). Refused to provide advice on areas we were keen to drive to, and told me to search the internet for advice. The centre itself is large, clean, and with plenty of staff

Edit. I was at first disappointed as I sent an enquiry which was not answered. However the lady kindly got back to my review and invited me to text them again. While I had resolved the original enquiry myself I ended up texting them about another enquiry. They were very prompt and helpful, sometimes they might be busy I guess, don’t wanna be that kind of difficult customer so I edited my review.

I arrived at the visitor centre at 3.45pm near closing time and patiently waited my turn to be served as two women were discussing the days takings close to me, 2 other ladies were serving other visitors. After approximately 5 minutes one of the two women came behind me to return a book so I decided to take my chance to ask about any other potage taps in the area but was informed the only one was outside the building ( the pressure was woeful ) or at Caravan parks, I informed the two women we were fully self contained in a motorhome and just commented on free camping and was told in no uncertain terms there was no free camping in the area and it was an hour away. Oh I got a “Sorry” , it might be fitting to remember we are still visitors who spend money in the area. We drove the hour to the free camp.

Heaps of region information and tour ads in pamphlets on the wall, however almost all the ones needed were out of stock… So we went to ask the staff at the desk and we were told to just go get a pamphlet off the wall and have a look ourselves. Not overly helpful for a tourist info centre…

Must visit here when in Broome

Overall, was expecting more crowds and vibrancy at a place like this. Most shops were closed on Sunday, and when we went on Monday, we saw that a number of storefronts were empty. Most people were at the cafes. The place does have many art sculptures and signage that provided information on Broome history and pearling history. Streets are clean and facilities new and well-maintained.

Absolutely epic sunset cruise. Awesome crew, beers were on ice. Got a bit of local info and if you wanted to learn more Jonno was super happy to share his knowledge, and was good for a laugh or 2. Rope net in the water out the back topped it off to be able to cool down. Highly recommended, would 100% do it again and recommend to anyone looking for an awesome afternoon in Broome.

We just had a great time on this tour. Staff were efficient, friendly, and focused on us having a unique experience out into the bay and along the mangroves. Very relaxed atmosphere, great Bloody Marys (have I had better….hmmmm? Don’t think so), dolphins, sea eagles, plenty of terns, fun crabbing and good eating of said crabs on the journey home. Thanks Jay and Broome Tours!

Jacko, Jay and macie turned it on for us for our mud crabbing adventure. Superb day on the water with jacko and jay getting us to the spots for some muddies and then going back to the catamaran for macie to offer some top shelf service. Couldnt speak highly of this mob

Beautiful day out with the Broome Tours crew. The mango daiquiris were great and we loved laying on the water net!
Ashleigh V — Google review
What a brilliant experience. The Sunset Cruise exceeded all expectations. A great adventure from the moment I walked through the water to the tender, through boarding the catamaran, to being met with bubbles and canapes on the boat, to sitting outside on top of the cabin beside the mast, able to see the Broome shoreline across that divine turquoise sea! The sun across the water dazzled, delicious food was brought out on platters, drink orders were taken and delivered by the deckhand, and it was simply the most marvellous cruise. The sunset delivered gloriously! I loved it all, even, and especially, transferring into the tender at twilight and then walking through the thigh deep water to shore to the minibus which took me back to where I was staying. The skipper, Nick, and crew Dave, and the young ladies who served the food and drinks all went the extra mile to make my cruising experience unforgettably splendid! Thankyou!!
Annie H — Google review
Thanks Matt and girls for a pleasant motor cruise along Cable beach. All was good, except we expected to be sailing on the catamaran . Even though we offered to show the crew how to sail, they came up with very poor excuses. Willi was out sailing ! We also suggest that on pick up you check the reception area for your clients and turn your phone on!! After a trying 15 minutes , we got a $38 taxi to the beach! The sunset was as 🥰
Toni H — Google review
Cruise was comfortable and staff were lovely however the ‘canapes’ totalled one party pie, one meatball and one ‘cheeseburger’ spring roll per person. No options for anyone who doesn’t eat red meat. Drinks (as purchased) were plentiful - it became a bit of a booze cruise. We were warned of ankle deep water on transfer, which turned out to be knee to thigh high, depending how tall you are, with lots of sharp and slippery rocks to navigate on the long walk back to shore at low tide.

Take a leisurely stroll with your furry companion to the Roebuck Bay Lookout, situated at the intersection of Dampier Terrace and Frederick Street. This elevated platform, created in collaboration with Yawuru Traditional Owners and Broome Senior High School, offers breathtaking vistas of Roebuck Bay and Dampier Creek. The lookout's design allows sunlight to create mesmerizing patterns on the platform floor.
Nice little lookout and covered seating area and drinking fountain located at the top of Fredrick Street. Views over Roebuck Bay, which admittedly, is mainly mangroves and bush. Still the lookout is a nice touch along this section of the coast. Old chinatown a short walk north.

Done the whale watching cruise for my birthday and it was Incredible experience from start to finish. Great communication. Transfer bus on time Dingy to the boat was safe and easy Was a really choppy day but felt safe and informed Amazing info on the whales! We saw loads of whales and got so close to all few of them which was incredible. Staff all lovely and welcoming but felt sorry for the girl who had to try and serve food whilst it was so choppy!! She done amazing not to drop anything! Thank you all for an amazing day I had the best birthday 🐋

Friday 8 August morning whale watching trip was an amazing adventure. A walk onto cable beach from the vehicle transfer, then into the water to get the next transfer and onto the boat. I have never started a whale watching cruise like that before. And whales found us one beached, we saw pectoral fins, a deceased whales remains with circling tiger sharks, 2 sea snakes and 3 whales so curious about our boat the went under it a couple of times. It was Absolutely Awesome.

We had a lovely afternoon on Roebuck Bay with Absolute Ocean Charters. Boarding the boat in the choppy water was a little hairy for us older guests, but we made it OK. The crew were lovely and helpful. Marine biologist Kat made sure we saw all the snubfin dolphins around - and there were lots! It was exciting to see so many. Afternoon snacks provided were nice, and there was a good cash bar. All in all, a very nice afternoon and it was really special to see so many dolphins.

The Snubfin Dolphin trip was amazing and we saw so many of these beautiful little creatures, we also saw turtles, seabirds and one sea snake gliding across the water. Broome RSL is a classic Australian pub that welcomes everyone with open arms. It's a local favorite, but visitors are also greeted warmly by the friendly staff. The menu offers traditional dishes along with some modern twists like pulled pork and apple sauce pizza. Good Cartel, known for its excellent coffee, is located here and serves fresh and healthy options all day long. The club provides a home for service affiliate and social members while offering quality service to Broome residents.
Classic "old school" RSL with a modern twist. Cheap but good beer selection, great pub food - I highly recommend their pizza - and friendly and helpful staff. Big shout out to manager Evie, always polite and courteous.

Great place for a drink whilst in Broome. Friendly staff, great beer selection including a cracking pint of Guinness, of which I had 2. They also serve food but we only went for a drink so can’t comment on the food but from what I saw the pizzas looked great that were coming out of the kitchen. Plenty of car parking spaces out front. Children’s play area. Best place for a drink and a chat in Broome.

Great bar staff, friendly and knowledgeable of her stock, she even knew that pouring a Guinness is not the same as other beer on tap. Gladly offered ice for with out self serve water, which on a hot day was truly appreciated. It appears they have live entertainment on Sundays as well as Sunday Roast for $28, which we unfortunately did not avail of. Maybe our next time back :).

Drinks are expensive for an RSL. As for the meals, ordinary at best. Snitty was bland, looked like it came straight from ALDI, bland no sauce at all, very dry, no sakt on chips, no dressing on salad. Experience the thrill of Horizontal Falls Seaplane Adventures, where you'll start your day with a simple breakfast before taking a dip in the shark cage to watch bull and tawny nurse sharks being tempted by barramundi scraps. Afterward, transfer to the 'Jet Stream,' the fastest boat in the Kimberley, for an up-close encounter with the incredible tidal power of Horizontal Falls.
I highly recommend booking a full day tour through Horizontal Falls seaplane adventures. It was awesome!! The day was jam packed and we saw some pretty amazing things. Our guide was Nicole, who was very knowledgeable and culturally sensitive, which was great. Riley was our pilot, who was very smooth with his flying and landing.

To be honest, I’m disappointed google is only allowing 5 starts for this… This trip was something we had high expectations for, and they exceeded by far! Loved every part of it, all the staff were brilliant, happy, helpful, informative, we couldn’t ask for more. The views from the seaplane both ways are mind blowing, with commentary along the way. The staff when you arrive at the pontoon are all ready to do everything they possibly can to ensure your safe, and enjoying the experience. They keep you moving without being rude, pushy or anything, helping the older passengers at every step of the way. The boat ride through the falls is mind blowing, photos just don’t do it justice., back for a cooked hot breakfast, eggs, bacon, potato gems, baked beans, croissants, with fruit platters, cereal, danishes, fruit juices, tea coffee, hot chocolate etc… And there’s plenty to go around. We then moved onto a feeding display with sharks & several types of fish (we also went swimming here in a cage) Boat cruise down cyclone creek for a look, prior to heading back to fly home over the islands… My only regret is not doing the overnight tour just to spend more time out there… We flew on the 06:00am half day tour on Tuesday 29/7/25. I recommend looking at the tide charts and ensuring there’s a large change when you go to get the best experience!

This is an absolutely extraordinary and wonderful experience. We have travelled extensively and this is up with anything we have done. From the moment of sea plane takeoff from the Derby airport across the extraordinary scenery to the landing near the House boat on the Horizontal Falls the views are simply stunning. We would highly recommend staying overnight on the houseboat because it is then possible to make two trips through the horizontal falls experiencing the different heights of the incoming and outgoing tides. The staff are unbelievably professional and the food and accommodation on the houseboat are excellent given the logistics that must be in place. I think this is a once in a lifetime experience and more than well worth the money and the time. We also observed that being on the houseboat allowed for great views of sunset and sunrise and getting to the Horizontal Falls before there are a lot zodiacs in the area from cruise ships.
Ross D — Google review
Such an amazing experience, photos don’t do it justice!! The scenic flight from Broome was incredible and the fast boat through the falls was so much fun. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable - I had Odessa as my tour guide & Andrew as my pilot. The fresh barramundi lunch was delicious! Highly recommend the half day afternoon tour

Picked up and dropped off to caravan park. The falls are just spectacular. Highly recommended experiencing this tour. I couldn't be happier with our experience.

From the moment we were picked up to the moment we were dropped off, the whole experience ran like clockwork. The Horizontal Falls Seaplane Adventures is a very slick operation who provide an incredible exhilarating adventure that you will never forget. The flights there and back, the boat ride through the falls, our pilot and all of the crew, the service and the food, everything was first class, absolutely faultless. A an extremely professionally run company that is commendable to the whole team. An unforgettable bucket list adventure that is worth every cent. Thank you for providing such a unique and memorable experience. We highly recommend Horizontal Falls Seaplane Adventures.

Doing the HFSPA so late in the season has its benefits and downfalls. For some reason we payed more than the normal fee, however we were the only tour group and had Talbot Bay to ourselves which meant no waiting or queueing when the high speed vessel was doing it’s runs back and forth through the falls. We were also lucky to have large spring tides which created more spectacular conditions, check the tides before you book. The staff were nice and so to was the food, overall it’s expensive for what it is but it’s also unique and quite spectacular.

We have just returned from the Overnight Luxury stay with Horizontal Falls Seaplane Adventures. The 24 hours was packed with a variety of activities showcasing the areas natural beauty. The staff were fantastic, eager to please and passionate about their work, the environment and the cultural significance of the area. The food and accommodation were amazing. I would highly recommend this tour.

Coffee shop
Short St Cafe, located in Chinatown, Broome, has quickly become a favorite spot for both locals and tourists. This relatively new cafe offers freshly-baked treats, delicious rolls, and excellent coffee that will leave you wanting more. The friendly staff go out of their way to accommodate customer requests and the outdoor seating provides a great atmosphere for enjoying your order.
Very very busy little cafe on the corner in the heart of downtown Broome . Offering up many tasty treats like cakes , slices and muffins to home made lunch options like rolls and toasted sandwiches . Take away coffee window on site as I waited for my order thinking i maybe waiting awhile but with very efficient staff on site I was on my way within 5 minutes. Very popular and I can see why…

This place serves some of the best coffee you'll find in Broome — consistently smooth, rich, and full of flavour. The staff are friendly and quick, making it a perfect stop if you're on the go. Whether you're heading to the beach or off to work, this little spot delivers quality coffee every time. A local favourite for a reason!

Located right in the heart of the town centre, Short St Café is a great spot for takeaway, but also has plenty of space to sit and relax around the café. I tried the banana muffin with white chocolate and the chocolate brownie-both were absolutely delicious and left me wanting more. The coffee was great too, smooth and well made, the perfect pairing with their sweet treats. They also have a range of freshly baked items on display, which are definitely worth checking out. A lovely local café for a quick bite or a relaxed coffee break while in Broome.

Chinese restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant heart of historic Chinatown, Son Ming Chinese Restaurant is a gem for travelers seeking authentic Chinese cuisine. This charming eatery stands out as one of the few remaining historical restaurants in old Broome, offering a delightful array of dishes that reflect the rich culinary traditions of China. Guests rave about the warm atmosphere and exceptional customer service, making it an inviting spot for dinner. The menu features mouthwatering options like their renowned combination satay, which has garnered enthusiastic praise from diners.
The food was all delicious and came out quite quickly. Authentic decor and owners takes you back to China. Don’t expect fancy furniture but the food is great! BYO too!
ROBYN L — Google review
First time coming in Broome for two weeks missed Chinese food decided with this restaurant, which made the worst choice ever. It was a wastage of money, one dish one entree and one fried rice is $65. In this price you can get so much better option in Perth. It’s a 30 minutes wait time. I order a roast duck with crab meat sauce, but this is more like the crab meat sweet corn and duck combine 😂 don’t ask me why I know I work in a Chinese restaurant for 10 years when I was teenager. The fried rice was not warm enough (maybe microwave) I hope not. Dim sum was the worst of all. I did a steamed one, decided to chuck out one at it worst. Taste gross Do yourself a favour, either cook home if u can, or go somewhere else. Would not recommend.

Got take away. The spring rolls were burnt. The prawns were like rubber. Mongolian beef was edible but have had much better. Disappointed especially as it was very expensive.

Genuine Chinese food which was delicious. Loved the history that was on the walls with photos. Beautiful little place for dine in or take away.

Mrs Yu was a total delight, but the meals were small and nothing special. For a connection with the history of Broome though, the experience was fantastic. There were lots of photgraphs and family items displayed.

Absolutely appalling, we are usually easy going… but, the lady was very rude. Food was minimum, days old, and reheated. Hard meat- not tender at all. Hot and cold spots through each dish, clearly microwaved. We ordered $120 worth of beef/black bean, honey chicken, sweet pork, fried rice and it all came out in 8 minutes 🤢. So disappointed. Steamed Dim sims had hard skin. Cans of soft drink had dirt or mould on them. We left without eating much at all. Do yourself a favour and donate your money to a charity instead.

Chinese restaurant
Nestled in Broome, Tong's Chinese Restaurant is a delightful culinary gem that has been serving up authentic Hong Kong-style dishes since its establishment in 1973. Founded by Ko Yuk Chun Tong and her husband, the restaurant has become a family affair with their son Kevin at the helm, supported by his teenage daughter and sons during school breaks. The inviting dining space features white tablecloths and traditional decor, creating a cozy atmosphere for guests.
We had dinner inside the restaurant and our service was smooth. The girl was friendly, asked how everything was and kept an eye out. The food was really good, we ordered the mongolian lamb and satay seafood. The lamb was tender and the seafood as well! Just how I like it!
Capucine B — Google review
Worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Over priced. Small portions, $35 for that very small container of Mongolian lamb. Not even same size as other containers ( size compared beside) which is small as it is! Absolutely disappointing! Pad Thai is flavourless and had no sauce in it at all! Spring rolls are mushy. $160 wasted! Friendly staff however.

Our food was really excellent, service was fast and waitresses were great, very attentive and friendly. My only dislike was the amount of noise in the room once a couple of groups came in, but this was not the fault of the restaurant. We had a great experience!

If you're in Broome and craving a delicious pizza, look no further than Domino's Pizza Broome. This popular delivery and carryout chain offers an extensive menu featuring a variety of pizzas alongside other tasty dishes and sides. The staff here are known for their friendliness and professionalism, making your experience enjoyable from start to finish. Even during the bustling tourist season, they manage to keep up with demand while ensuring that every order is delivered hot and fresh.
A young lad served us. We were blown away by his professionalism and courtesy. He was really young and we were surprised! Usually that level of customer service is awarded to older people. The pizzas were great, we really enjoyed them. The atmosphere was depressing with a Manager who, according to her behaviour needed a talking to by the owner (perhaps she was the owner! Oh dear!!) The beautiful pizzas came quickly. Hats off to the behind the scenes team members. The price was right, we enjoyed the pizzas and shall return tonight! However to reiterate - that young lad is a superstar! Well done and kudos to you young man! You will go far!!

I countlessly receive cold pizzas from this establishment. I asked if the pizzas are here were being served hot because the amount of times I’ve gotten cold pieces is ridiculous and I was shouted at I was disrespected by a young woman over the telephone. Swear words were thrown at me bad language just a really upsetting tone Just an overall bad experience I will not be coming back. I suggest if you’re ever thinking of going to Domino’s broome then Think twice.

Town Beach is a must-visit destination in Broome, offering a rich tapestry of history and natural beauty. The area is steeped in captivating stories, from Lord McAlpine's epic tales to the extraordinary pearling industry and wartime legacies. Visitors can explore Gantheaume Point with its dinosaur tracks, Entrance Point, Chinatown, and the iconic Japanese Cemetery.
Beautiful spot to chill and enjoy the Broome vibes! Town Beach is an absolute gem. Whether you're catching the sunrise, having a coffee at the café nearby, or just relaxing under the shady trees, it's the perfect place to unwind. The water is calm and great for a swim at high tide, and there's a great kids’ water park too if you're travelling with family. Heaps of space to sit and watch the tides roll in — and if you're lucky, you might catch the Staircase to the Moon event. Clean, peaceful, and close to town. Couldn’t ask for a better beach to chill out in Broome.

What a fabulous park, everything you need and look forward to. Plenty of parking but it still fills up so getting in early is a good idea with a few parking spots under big trees for great shade. There are toilets, bins and water available and after 10am there are food, coffee and ice cream vans. So great! The tide goes a long way out which offers a cooling walk on the wet sand. The jetty is nice and the history is interesting.

Tonight with my partner we ordered Cacio e Pepe gnocchi and the Crudo and Rucola pizza. The gnocchi was really good!! Not chewy and the portion was big. Pizza was good as well but it arrived a bit cold. I think it’s pricey but it’s good quality food, I would order again for sure!

Small spot that is easy to miss but the food is on point! Great pizza bases and really flavourful toppings. Order was ready to go 20min in which is pretty good for a proper pizza joint.

I was really looking forward to the carbonara and the lasagna which we ordered online for pick up. Unfortunately, we got a call after placing the order to be informed that the lasagna was out of stock and so we replaced it with meat lovers pizza. The. Carbonara was terribly salty and very very oily. I couldn’t finish 4 forkfuls of it. The pizza was extremely soggy and also very salty. It was such an unfortunate experience considering we had only placed our order due to the great reviews we read about the restaurant before hand. We will not be ordering from this place again but I would like to acknowledge that the staff were very prompt and polite when they quickly called us to inform us that part of our order was out of stock.

Discovery Parks - Broome

RV park
Holiday park
Discovery Parks - Broome is a pet-friendly caravan park that offers spacious sites and clean amenities. It's conveniently located, allowing easy access to the town and nearby attractions like the brewery and Jetty for wildlife watching. The park features a great pool area and plenty of room for kids to play and ride bikes. While some guests experienced issues with TV reception, the overall experience was positive, with many visitors extending their stays due to the beautiful surroundings and ongoing upgrades at the park.
Stayed in both beachfront sites and cabin. The BEST place we have stayed at in the Kimberley. Cleanest facilities. Great service. Perfect location for Town Beach, walk to markets and Matsos. Great water park nearby if grandchildren visiting. As with any place, just ensure you keep your property secure. (The park managers ensure that warnings are provided). Can't fault the place! We have already planned more stays there.
Jackie T — Google review
We visited twice, with a day break in between. The first time, we stayed one night at an ensuite campsite on the first row of the beach, and the second time, we stayed three nights at an ensuite campsite on the second row. The private bathrooms are very convenient; towels for the floor and hands, as well as two rolls of toilet paper, are provided. The view is quite nice, but the downside is that you don't have it all to yourself. Anyone can walk from the public beach to the campsite. There's only a small sign indicating that access is for guests only, but no one controls access. There's no playground for children. Perhaps this is because the public playground and the water park are only a three-minute walk away, but even so, a campsite should have its own playground. The camp kitchens are well equipped with dish washing liquid and provided. Unfortunately, the entertainment program such as yoga and kids club was cancelled due to the end of the season, but there were many guests there, no signs of low or end season. In total it's okay to stay there but it's definitely room for improvement to get five stars.
Peter T — Google review
We were lucky enough to get a waterfront site. The water is so amazing. Colour and temperature. The pool is very clean and well maintained. There is a pizza wagon that comes on a Saturday evening. Highly recommended. Shops are only 6 km away.

We had a powered caravan site for our ten day stay. The ablutions needs updating but it was clean and functional. It is a good size swimming pool, nice BBQ area, camp kitchen and the views are excellent. we didn't book a seaview site but we could see the ocean from where we were. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. Thanks team.
JediDaxian — Google review
We booked a beach front site for 3 nights and were upgraded to an ensuite site. We looked straight out onto the magnificently turquoise water with the beach just across a strip of grass. We then needed three more nights due to car troubles but unfortunately our site was not available so we moved just two along though without an ensuite (no big deal, we have a shower and toilet in our caravan). We stayed at nearly the end of the season so not packed. One of the best located caravan parks we have stayed at.
Bob R — Google review
We stayed at this park for four nights with a campervan ensuite. Unfortunately, the site was very uneven and full of loose sand. If you used the ensuite, you came out wetter than you went in. It has a window and a hole in the door, but the fan is far too small to keep the small space cool and dry. They use a 100mm extractor fan, which isn't suitable for this space. The park has a beautiful swimming pool, which is wonderfully cool (28 degrees) and has a lovely view of the bay.

Additionally, on Fridays and Saturdays, Artigiana, an exceptional bakery serving bread, croissants, and deli produce, operates within the same space.
Little Local cafe is a hidden gem! It has a brilliant, relaxed, and easygoing atmosphere that makes it the perfect spot to unwind. The staff were incredibly nice, the food was delicious, and the spacious shaded area outside was both comfortable and accommodating. Went 5 times to Little Local because the coffee was that good. There's a lot of shade and the garden has a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately the service is really bad. The staff that worked there in week 15 & 16 didn't have normal manners. I was only greeted twice by a girl in yellow. The other ones didn't even say things like; thank you, enjoy your food etc. Even when I greeted them or wished them a good day I got nothing back. It's not that hard to be polite and say hello while working in hospitality

The Cygnet Bay Broome Showroom is a must-visit for those interested in learning about the region's pearl farming history. The showroom offers an insight into the life of pearl farmers and divers, showcasing some of the most expensive and rarest ocean pearls. Visitors can also explore Pearls of Australia, a collection of high-quality pearls grown in the area. Additionally, there are live harvest tours available, providing a firsthand look at modern pearl farming practices.
We've stayed at Cygnet Bay a few times over the years but this was the first time in the new eco tents. Very comfortable and beautiful gardens/landscaping. The cost is a bit pricey, but not too bad and comparable to other places in Broome. I would also like to thank again the very lovely and helpful ladies at reception, Karen and Bron, for making our stay easy and enjoyable :)
Kathryn B — Google review
My husband and I were very disappointed at our recent time at the Divers Creek powered van site area. The glossy, resort-style facility described in the brochure was far from reality. We were pleased to see a shaded site on arrival, but that was its only redeeming feature. Be aware that if you have a powered site, there are significant restrictions for power usage (see pic). Our site was adjacent to workers accommodation (although mostly screened with shrubs) with the facility’s generator nearby, running constantly 24 hours/day. We were also accompanied by 2 resident roosters who delighted in waking us very early each morning. The ‘beach’ near the divers creek area was accessed by a narrow, rocky 4wd track, and compared to other beautiful beaches on the Dampier Peninsula, this one was very rocky and unappealing and didn’t really have a place to lie on the sand. The infinity pool back at the main reception/Pearl shop/restaurant area had a very small area in which to sit and relax, and was overlooked by guests dining on the adjacent restaurant balcony. Certainly not your typical resort-style pool. We had booked for 4 nights, but left after staying only 2…

The staff were lovely and even able to accommodate a late request to change our live harvest tour from Cygnet Bay to the Broome showroom. We were the only people on the tour so got to ask a lot of questions. I even got to wear a very expensive pearl for the duration of it just for fun. There was no pressure to purchase anything. The only negative is we were disappointed that there wasn't a pearl meat tasting as advertised.

Air Kimberley is a Perth-based airline that offers flights to the amazing Kimberley region of Western Australia, one of the last great wilderness frontsiers on Earth. With scenic flights and friendly service, Air Kimberley is the perfect way to explore this natural wonderland.
Absolutely recommend Air Kimberly for the full day tour to Mitchell Falls. Our pilot Adam also guided us on our walk to Falls. Morning tea and lunch was really yummy and substantial. The heli ride was a great way to see the falls close up for photos. Adam is knowledgeable on the Mitchell Plateau area and finished the day with a text book landing!

Had the best day out with Air Kimberley on the Buccaneer tour with pilot Shand who had the best personality, commentary and knowledge. Worth every cent and not to mention the best value for money flight tour, we were out for at least 6 hours in that time stopped at the pearl farm for lunch which was so fresh and yum. Don’t miss it you won’t regret it

With the road to Mitchell Falls and Kalumburu closed a couple of weeks back, we decided to take a flight instead. We opted for the Prince Regent and Mitchell Falls tour from Drysdale River Station so that we could see some other sights which are not accessible by road. We had a wonderful time with a great pilot. There was commentary throughout the flight. My only suggestion would be to do a second loop around Mitchell Falls. It would have been great to have a bit more time to take a good look at the falls and to get some photos (didn’t quite have time to do both). I would recommend this tour for those wanting to see Prince Regent and surrounds and/or looking to save their vehicle from the poor road conditions into Mitchell.

We did a last minute trip and Air Kimberley was flexible and friendly throughout the experience. Our pilot, Freddie, was exceptional. He was friendly and knowledgeable and explained the plan before boarding. He walked around and rechecked the plane one last time before he got in even though he obviously had already done so. As we flew, he was conversational and learned about our interests in the area. He pointed out sites of interest. Before we knew it, we were at Mount Hart. Here he had she we were handed off with all gear to guide staff. The return was similarly smooth. Next time we’re in the area, we would visit Air Kimberley, and we would request Freddie.

We did the Drysdale Station to Mitchell Falls day trip. Adam was our pilot and guide for the day. He was professional, helpful and knowledgeable. He was also really good with our 6 and 9 year old children. An amazing experience thank you and worth every cent.

What an incredible day with Air Kimberley on the Horizontal Falls tour! It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and on my bucket list. Our pilot, Lachlan, was absolutely excellent. His flying was great, providing a smooth and thrilling ride, and his commentary was fantastic—super informative and engaging. He pointed out so many interesting features of the landscape that we would have missed otherwise. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to see the Kimberley in a spectacular way! I'm actually feeling emotional that I got to experience this. Best day ever! Thanks Lachlan and the team x

Did a flight from Drysdale over Mitchell falls for 2hrs our pilot was Stephen he was absolutely amazing from start to finish his knowledge for the Kimberley's was brilliant and his music playlist was fantastic 😍 i would highly recommend this tour and hopefully Stephen will be your pilot 11/10 👍

We had a fabulous day with Stephen doing the Mitchell Falls Wilderness Trek. We flew from Drysdale Station and saved 7 hours driving, hiked the trail with Stephen, saw rock art and swims at Little Mehrtens and above Mitchell Falls. We did the helicopter tour to see from above and returned to car park to fly home in time for dinner with drinks at Drysdale. All up an incredible set of experiences. Well worth doing 😃

Chi Mayi Kitchen is a hidden gem located in Broome, tucked away in a laneway near Chinatown. The cafe offers an excellent selection of juices and ice-cold smoothies, making it the perfect spot to quench your thirst while exploring the area. The diverse menu features fresh and healthy options, including Japanese pancakes with meat and veg options, frittatas, and traditional breakfast dishes. Visitors can enjoy their meals in a lovely garden setting or shaded alfresco dining area.
We have been coming to this restaurant for a long time every time we visit Broome. They have been transforming time to time. Their food are great and quite large serving! If you are not big eater best share it. I also recommend freshly squeezed juices. Good friendly fast service! We will be back again. Thank you 🙏🏻

Chi Mayi is hands down one of the best spots in Broome! The service is always warm and welcoming, and the food is top quality — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. But what really sets this place apart is the coffee. Easily the best in town, every cup is made to perfection. And the legends behind the coffee machine? Even better. Friendly, skilled, and always up for a chat. A must-visit if you’re in Broome!
Lamia C — Google review
Had coffee here this morning, 6/8/24 . The setting is lovely but there are far better places for coffee . Paid 17$ for an iced chocolate and iced latte. The latte was small and the chocolate watery. The service after ordering was fast but my experience at the order counter was coloured by 2 people who just had to make significant changes to their order and an age later finally put my order in. I should have walked....the dirty spoon also didn't help.
Gee L — Google review
My number one spot to eat when I visit Broome! Particularly for breakfast but their entire menu is incredible. Pancakes were a big hit with my 7 year old too and had her begging for multiple visits (always a win!) on our latest trip this year. Their setup is spacious with a super chilled out atmosphere, and I've only ever experienced incredibly friendly staff!! Speedy service. Amazing food. Love love love Chi Mayi. Can't wait to go back and smash more bruschetta (and fresh juice, and pancakes, and milkshakes..the list goes on..)
Ashlee J — Google review
Thank you Chi Mayi! You are my absolute favourite Cafe in Broome. The staff are always so lovely and happy to see me and the food is always so fresh and delicious. You're consistently amazing so we will continue to come back time and time again! Keep up the incredible work 💛

My favourite spot for brekkie! The service is great—really quick and friendly staff. I always grab a coffee and a juice, and they're spot on every time. The whole vibe of the place is really relaxed, a nice little courtyard area if you want to sit outside. If you’re in Broome and after a solid breakfast or just a good coffee, definitely check out Chi Mayi.

Fish and chips takeaway
Fish & chips restaurant
Maca's takeaway provides delicious fish and chips. The batter is crispy, the fish is fresh and the dipping sauce is irresistibly sweet.
Friendly service and the nicest lunch bar style burger with the lot I've had in a long time. Every ingredient fresh and tasty. I'll be back again each time I'm in town for sure. Thanks,
Andrew H — Google review
First time 5 stars, amazing fresh piece of snapper, delicious crumb, wanted to make sure it wasn’t a fluke. Next two times had questionable fish in terms of freshness and being snapper. Still tasty a large serve of chips.
Brad D — Google review
Totally not what you expect if you judge from the outside, but, you won't be disappointed. Absolutely outstanding fish and chips wrapped in paper like the old school. Busy, busy, so be prepared for a short wait. Definitely recommend. We'll be back.
Burning O — Google review
Like the Fish and Chippies of my childhood....no street appeal, no smile with the service, huge serving of lovely fresh, hot fish and chips rolled up in paper at a very reasonable price. Place was packed with locals which is always a good sign.
Kerry B — Google review
First time eating from here, may be the last unfortunately. Ordered Snapper and Chips packs x2 plus desserts. We were very disappointed, tiny sad fish, and a big stack of chips. Chips go from the deep fry to the bain marie to the paper. I didn't see the fish before it had been packed so not sure if it was from the deep fryer or if it had been sitting in the bain marie. I don't like to leave a negative review but they could do better.
Piripa M — Google review
One of the best fish n chips we've had, the Barramundi tasted so fresh better than some restaurants I've been to, the staff were friendly and our order came out quick.
Judy J — Google review
Meh….. went here because we’d had a recommendation, but the whole meal really wasn’t up to scratch. Fish (Barra) was very thin, oily, overcooked and floppy, chips were dried out. Tasted like old oil and nothing tasted fresh. Really disappointing
David G — Google review
Don’t bother. Staff had no clue. Hamburger was pink. Fried chicken was fried to a crisp, fish was yuck and chips were absolutely terrible. Such a disappointment for what we paid.

Restaurant
Papa Fuego is a vibrant addition to Broome's dining scene, located at The Continental Hotel near Roebuck Bay. Chef Russell Blaikie describes it as a place for lively gatherings with simple, smoky South American-inspired food and upbeat music. As part of the Prendiville Group, Papa Fuego offers a cocktail-centric street-food concept where dishes are cooked over jarrah on a large parrilla grill.
Leaving a 5* because 4* seems too harsh, I reckon the current 4.7 is accurate. Here’s an overview of our experience: We got the “feed me” menu and there was definitely plenty of food. For us, the best dishes were the skirt flank steak and the short rib. The service was really friendly, they obviously put a lot of effort into making you feel comfortable and welcomed into the venue. We had a couple of cocktails, they were great 👍. We got the Rapa Nui and Passionfruit Margarita, I actually wanted a frozen one which wasn’t on the menu but they were happy to accommodate which was really good. There really weren’t any negatives, but if I’m being super picky the couple of things I’d say are that the food was good but it wasn’t mind blowing and for the price we’d probably prefer a bit less (volume wise) and slightly more explosive flavours. The only other thing I’d mention is that we weren’t asked if we wanted any more drinks, so just ended up having the one. Overall positive experience and we would return 🙏

This was a special experience. First time guests and we were impressed. Flame grilled Argentinian ribs along with interesting entrees. Wonderful staff serving and colourful restaurant design.
Ross T — Google review
This spot is very deceptive from the outside. Inside the decor especially the wallpaper is funky and cool. Staff are all buzzing around happily dancing while waiting for cocktails / drinks and are really pleasant and helpful. Food was delicious I really enjoyed it and portions were a good size perfect for sharing.
Ciara M — Google review
Food was great. My wife and I went for one of the meat platters and a side of calamari. It was great value and plenty of food for two. Meat was cooked perfectly and the beef ribs were melt in mouth. With a couple of drinks was a total just over $100. Service was super friendly and the atmosphere was amazing. Staff accommodated us as a walk in and food was cooked and served extremely quick.
Jack B — Google review
We visited tonight and ordered the Feed Me menu for two. Unfortunately, the experience felt quite rushed. We hadn’t even finished our entrée before the main course was served, and the waitress asked twice; once during the mains and again during dessert “if we wanted a takeaway box”. Although the sitting time was two hours, we finished everything in just 1.5 hours because of the pacing. The portioning also felt unbalanced: the main course dishes already included sides, yet additional sides were served, which resulted in three different potato dishes along with other sides (carrot, corn). We also noticed that no one checked in with us for drinks or feedback on the food. On a positive note, the food was good and the ambience of the restaurant is nice, but overall the service and menu balance could be improved to make the dining experience more relaxed and enjoyable.
Tushar S — Google review
Popped in for a quick bite without knowing this restaurant. Food was AMAZING! Some great vegetarian options for me:-)The cocktails were also fantastic. We really enjoyed this place and would highly recommend to others
Tania M — Google review
Delicious food, the service was great, cocktails delicious. We were also really impressed how quickly the food came out.

This is a very nice venue in Broome. The food was very nice and the ladies enjoyed their cocktails. The venue has character and well decorated in what I guess was a splash or South American theme in accordance with the menu. I had the lamb rack which was done very well. My partner had the beef skirt which very tender and flavoursome. Would definitely recommend. Service was excellent. Only complaint is that it is a bit on the pricey side but I guess you need to pay for good food, service and venue.

Asian Noodle Broome is a noodle shop in town that offers delicious and authentic dishes like Tom Yum Soup and Hokkien Mee. The servings are large, and the flavors are truly genuine. However, it's important to note that the Tom Yum Soup can be extremely spicy, so caution should be exercised when consuming it to avoid any discomfort. Overall, Asian Noodle Broome is a must-visit for those looking for tasty Asian noodles in town.

Broome Vacation Village Caravan Park is a spacious and pet-friendly accommodation option in Broome, Western Australia. It offers powered and unpowered sites, chalets, and family park homes nestled among shade trees. The park features a camp kitchen, BBQ area, accessible amenities, and a lovely swimming pool for relaxation. Situated near the famous Cable Beach, it provides easy access to explore the beauty of Broome.
Great caravan park, very tidy and clean. Staff were friendly and very helpful. A lovely pool to swim in and lots of shade from the beautiful mature trees in the park. Another bonus… only 3km from Gantheaume Point, an amazing beach you can drive onto. Great for a picnic lunch, walk, swim and ‘boat watch’.
Gaynor C — Google review
The people of this park are wonderful. Jude in Admin and the other staff of the park were always pleasant, helpful and efficient. The cabin we occupied for 17 nights was neat, clean and provided all we needed. If Broome Bus Co provided a service the location would have been great. It was quiet most nights and only other inconsiderate occupants played very loud music at times. These were dealt with well by caravan park manager. We have booked to stay again on our return trip.

We had a very good stay in this caravan park. Aminities were always very clean and the washing machines work perfectly (our clothes were so dirty after the Gibb River Road). The highlight of our stay was the friendly and amazing staff ! Thank you to Bryan for his kindness and for helping us to fix our awnings 🤩🙏
Maite S — Google review
We just finished up a 7 night stay in a 2 bedroom chalet - brilliant location, close to everywhere but secluded and tranquil within the grounds. Clean rooms, bedding and bathrooms. Lovely staff and great pool area! Thanks for our wonderful stay, we felt safe and at home at Broome Vacation Village!
Leah M — Google review
Lovely little spot, we were up the wider end of the park with very little road noise. The long term residents were friendly and looking out for us in the unseasonable heavy downpours. Clean amenities, great camp kitchen. We appreciated the site’s sand mat to keep our setup as free as possible from red dirt and white sand. My suggestion to all parks would be to have a unisex family room for both parents to bathe kids.
Toni D — Google review
Woman at the reception was not helpful! I kindly asked to help us (a family) during a hot afternoon, she refused to give me the wifi so I can find a place to rest and breastfeed my baby! As we were taking our bicycles to leave she shouted at us « where are you going » thinking we were going to enter the campground. Ridiculous! They only think about money here, I don’t recommend this place to anyone.
Mathilde C — Google review
I have stayed here previously and found my accommodation exceptional ! Everything is so clean, well organized and very comfortable, as a Single Lafy, I felt very safe, secure and comfortable, the Reception and general staff are obliging, courteous and happy to have a chat and make sure your stay is as I have said - highly recommend this stay - you will need transport as it is not close to town and not far from Cable Beach and amenities although your own transport to move about - I will definitely come back as very clean and lovely - thank you

Unforgettable experience, core memories made! The Willie Pearl Lugger Sunset Cruise was one of the most special moments of our trip. My 15-year-old son Bodhi was the youngest on board by decades, and yet he had the most incredible time, made to feel so welcome by the crew and fellow guests. A true “wow” moment was watching him devour the freshly shucked oysters on board, on a pearl lugger no less. It was such a unique and memorable experience, lucky kid. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun, the staff were fantastic, super warm, welcoming and friendly, and the whole evening felt like something truly out of the ordinary. A core memory for both of us, highly recommended. The value for this tour is beyond good, it is well worth the small cost to attend. Don't miss it, it really was as amazing as the pictures.

Absolutely fabulous experience ranging from shuttle transfer to boat cruise. Great staff, nothing was too much effort. Quality canapes and good selection of bar drinks at reasonable prices. The lugger was spacious and perfect for the sunset cruise. Well done Willie and staff; a polished operation from start to finish.

Wow what a fabulous afternoon/evening on the Willie Pearl Lugger. Harrison and his crew took care of us from the moment we met on the beach until safely bringing us back to the beach. Whilst cruising we were treated to such delights as whales and dolphins, cooling off in the nets over the sea, oysters and light food, drinks can be bought on board at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

The Broome Recreation and Aquatic Centre is a hub for sports enthusiasts and families alike. The center offers an 8-lane, 25-meter heated lap pool alongside a relaxing lagoon-style pool covered by a retractable shade structure to shield visitors from the strong sun. Additionally, it provides facilities for squash, tennis, and various water sports. The center has been recognized as the Broome Sports Club of the Year and is known for its friendly staff and well-maintained amenities.
I was curious to see the sporting grounds at the Broome Recreation and Aquatic Centre. I want just wanted to walk and jog around the footy oval as many times as I could. The undercover basketball courts are amazing and so are the tennis courts. Soccer field. The grounds are beautifully managed. Trees to relax under, Plenty parking too It's absolutely fantastic.

Good range of things to do for kids. Went to the skate park, and the kids loved it. Went around the back to the pump track. It's not the best pump track, but it's still good. It's a little bit sketchy for little kids as there are big divots that can make kids crash. Overall, it was an awesome place to take the kids and dogs to burn some energy.
Melissa ( — Google review
I was visiting Broome and found this pool when looking for a place to swim laps. It’s a really well maintained, 8 lane x 25m heated lap pool attached to a relaxing lagoon type pool. It’s covered by a retractable shade structure, which apparently shades the pool on most days due to the strong sun. The pool was spotlessly clean, the water temp was great, and the lifeguards were friendly. When I visited in the morning (before noon), all the lanes were available for lap swimming and there were only a couple of other people there. FYI, there’s showers/changing rooms inside the main gym building as well as in the small building right next to the pool. I’m not sure if lockers are available, but most people just kept their personal belongings on the pool deck. Also, for those without a car, the pool is located at one of the stops on the Broome Explorer bus route (the only bus in town). Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great place to swim laps (or splash around in the lagoon pool) in Broome!

Beautiful art & great service. We have bought a number of pieces here & they've been shipped to Perth for us without any problems. Always call in when in Broome.

I have a commission piece on the way and purchased a stretch canvas. Emma and Simon were extremely knowledgeable as they are well travelled around Aus - even got a cheeky fishing spot from them!

We visited this gallery on our recent trip to Broome. It is a beautiful gallery with some amazing art works. We were lucky enough to meet Emma Blythe, one of the artists with works on display. Absolutely lovely. I purchased one of her cushion covers for my lounge. Well worth a visit.

Superb work in this gallery. Thank you to Simon and Emma who welcomed us in and spent time talking with us about the artists and locations. Would recommend this as a stop to anyone who finds themselves in Broome looking for high quality pieces worthy of acquisition.

4 years later, still de most delicious, quick and healthy takeaway in Broome Initial review: Excellent service, affordable price and very tasty food. I will come again. It looks modest but the food and the people are great. And quick service. Thank you!

We brought tow Mega Kebabs and they were quite simply delicious the taste was wonderful. We were also given a small dessert at no charge. We will be going back before we leave.

I gotta say.....$44 for some vine leaves, two chicken kebabs and half an eggplant seems way over priced to me... Edit: 2 weeks ago I got food poisoning from this direct place, disappointing because every 6 weeks I come to this place and have been for a year. Spent all Sunday absolutely sick both ends, never coming back here again.

As someone who buys a meat box/ hsp/ AB pack in every town I pass through, I fancy myself quite the connoisseur. The HSP was bang on, chips done to perfection, meat had a beautiful smoky taste. 10/10 would highly recommend, generous portion size too. Cheers mate

An incredible experience! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with genuine Egyptian hospitality and big smiles. The food delicious and atmosphere was cozy and inviting, that made us feel like we were dining in Egypt.

We got fish, calamari and prawns and chips, table sevice. We had to take some with us as there was plenty of it. Reasonable price. Recommend checking it out.
Cherie C — Google review
they've got a big menu with kebabs, platters and pizzas. I went for the veggie platter which has got falafel, eggplant, cauliflower, dolomades, pita and salad. it's slightly overpriced for what you get but that's most of broome. service was quick considering there was only one staff member so he was doing a great job.

The best pie I’ve ever had 🤌🏻

Had a beef mince & curry pie it was quite good and a party sausage roll that was also good but the prices for a mystery bag are right up there, mine being the cheap skate option at $7.50 & $3.00. Drinks choices were a bit limited. "Out of season" But no shortage of tourists still around.

I went to buy fresh bread rolls, but they refused to sell them to me because they were saving them for the lunch rush. The bread here is really good, which makes it even more disappointing that a bakery wouldn’t sell fresh bread when a customer wants to buy it. What’s the point of a bakery if you can’t get fresh bread when you need it?
Lucrezia R — Google review
They advertise they are open until 3pm. Walked in today just before 2 … cabinets all empty. Asked if they could make a fresh sandwich but told “No, we’re closing”

Mince and cheese pies were delish, flaky pastry, cheesy and yummy beef. Pleasant service by young girl with the tatts. Lovely little eatery, sat outside and enjoyed the food with a cappuccino

They make it fresh here and have great pies. The place could do with a make over
Brian S — Google review
Just need to make their coffees hotter (then I would give them 5 star). Love their fresh made rolls though!!!
