Very nice and interesting how they made it. A second German country 🤩
We went for Oktoberfest so was great to visit. Well set up and decorated. Like a little German village dull of shops as well as the large hall where the live bands and dancing was held. Extremely busy on the Saturday, hard to walk and waited in line for food, beer or toilet for at least 20 minutes. Friday was better as less people.
You can purchase the ticket across the road for the Oktoberfest before entering. Full german costume gets you half price entry.
Food was average.
For me as a German, really interesting to see what is considered typical German in Brasil.
There are not many people, as we came here during a rainy day.
Great family fun here. Many great shops and eateries. Great Christmas decorations and displays. One restaurant had live German music playing. An excellent walk. Make sure you check for parking before you arrive. Parking can be challenging.
Nice park with lovely decorative and settings. Good music! Did not go on October fest but nice to see any time.
Dissapointing visit. Was expecting more of it. Just 2 streets. 5 weeks before easter and they where hanging the whole park full of easter eggs to many for my liking.
Very touristic pricing was crazy.
Exactly what it says it is: a tourist attraction with overpriced foods, drinks, and souvenirs. Food quality is fair. We visited during the Christmas event.

Even parking is a pain in where you can image, this is a nice place to spend time, enjoy good food and very good beer.
To park on street you need to be very patient to use the payment system. There are people to make tickets if you don't pay, but they can not charge you. Private park around cost legs and arms. So, come by uber.

We went here on a regular weekday and it was raining. Therefore it was very empty.
For me as a German, it was very funny to see what people consider to be typical German. There’s a lot of souvenir shops here with all kinds of stuff. And even if I think most of the stuff you can buy there has absolutely nothing to do with the real Germany, it was interesting to see for me.
A total must stop on your trip to Blumenau. So many great shops, lots of trinkets and tourist fair. There is an incredible chocolate shop inside where i bought the best pao de meil i have ever eaten. A few pubs and i hear the oktoberfest here is the best. Some of the pubs there had locals or tourists singing ole german songs, everyone drinking merrily, very cool. As a german canadian visiting the area, it was an awesome stop in.
A wonderful place to spend good moments alone or with your friends and family.
Excellent food and ambiance. Delicious beer was flowing, the food delicious and plentiful, and the live music was awesome.

OK for a quick visit and a beer, but all the restaurants inside are pretty poor. Only recommend it to those who enjoy Disney, Campos do Jordão, Gramado and other fake, plastic representations of Europe.

I was expecting more of a park near the Vila Germanica. At least you can drink beer inside the park after your exercises.
Nice park. You cannot bring pets. They have a little lake where you can find some ducks and other birds to watch. Very nice flowers in the middle of the bike way and the running/walking way. The entire circuit has 800m. Do not fees the pombos.

Very interesting história of the brand and the city.
This place tells the history of Hering family and the foundation of the textil company that holds their name. The visit ia quick, taking arround 30 to 40 minutes. There are a lot of objects from the time the Hering family arrived in Brazil and the equipment installed in the first years of the industry.

If you're like me and thinking of ignoring the bad recent reviews, don't. The staff was kind to me and the food came out VERY fast. Almost all of it was extremely cold, as if it had been sitting out for hours, besides the chicken. I'm very disappointed they would serve this.
Prices are really high (plus hidden charges) schnitzels were decent, but pork knee (Eisbein) was a huge disappointment. Chef probably never tasted proper German Pork Knee - it should be juicy, tender, falling appart. This sad dry, tough piece was nothing like it. You have literally fight with knife to get some meat off it. Crust and meat are dry as hell. Terrible

A good variety of locally crafted beers. At least when I went there (3 times) they always had live music. Even though it was during summer, they had several ceiling fans which made the environment good enough to be in.
I would advise getting the 300ml beer during summer, unless you drink fast enough, or like warm beer.
The management at the beer area didnt speak German, English, spanish or any other language besides Portuguese. This is not acceptable for a well known German restaurant. I had a Swiss rosti which was good. However they are overpriced by Brazilian standards.
A very nice place that hide a awful bunch of waiters that treat customer very badly and show respect at all. I got served lately and when I tried to complain about it, the manager just three time if I wanted to cancel the order, so I did... If you want to be disrespected, go there!

Second time coming to this restaurant. First time was good so we wanted to eat there again. We ordered a first of picanha which was good. For mains we ordered prime rib and beef ribs. The prime rib was good but the beef ribs were terrible! Too much salt. You would expect a meat restaurant to know how to cook meat! With the meat you get sides of rice and potato and salad. We got two sides of rice that were not cooked, the rice was hard. The two salads had terrible dressing on them(same dressing for both). We will not return a third time…

The German sausage is not a german sausage but a gross disgusting sausage that tastes like plastic. And they even brought us all the food but not the schnitzel and 10 minutes later they said that there is no schnitzel but all the other food was on the table already.
